- 1:54Speaker 2: that Emily has come donned in her best drama Darling
- 1:58Speaker 2: Survivor ware. I'm like, did you tell us, since this
- 2:03Speaker 2: is an audio podcast, what you're wearing?
- 2:06Speaker 4: I have my green and hot pink Drama Darling buff
- 2:11Speaker 4: on my head and my green and really a mauve
- 2:16Speaker 4: tank to get in there and start working the maze,
- 2:22Speaker 4: shuffling iron squares around the beach and enjoying a smaller
- 2:28Speaker 4: selection of pastries.
- 2:35Speaker 2: What an intro. Wow, that was amazing. Wow. Well, just
- 2:43Speaker 2: so everybody knows when you said your buff, like on
- 2:47Speaker 2: your what did you mean by that headband? Is that
- 2:50Speaker 2: called a buff?
- 2:51Speaker 3: They wear?
- 2:51Speaker 4: It's a by the company is buff and that.
- 2:56Speaker 1: They buffs Amy, they do shoulders of what they call
- 3:01Speaker 1: the headband on Survivor.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Wow, it's yeah.
- 3:07Speaker 4: They when you change, like when they were going to
- 3:09Speaker 4: change teams, that's their throw down your buffs.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Oh that's said.
- 3:15Speaker 1: And they'll say pick up your new buffs and pretty
- 3:18Speaker 1: soon they're going to be at to merge amy and
- 3:20Speaker 1: that's when he's going to say, we're all on the
- 3:23Speaker 1: same buffs.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Now, let me ask you this. So they I saw
- 3:27Speaker 2: them throw down their buffs and then they picked up buffs.
- 3:31Speaker 2: So you're telling me that somebody has been sweating and
- 3:36Speaker 2: wiping their mouths.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Oh no, No, they and new buffs.
- 3:40Speaker 2: God, they get afresh.
- 3:41Speaker 4: But she was so excited because it smelled so good, Charity,
- 3:45Speaker 4: it was like, yes.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I love the idea of what you're saying. Though, can
- 3:49Speaker 1: you imagine if they were like, throw down your buff,
- 3:52Speaker 1: now you four pick up the ones that are purple?
- 3:55Speaker 2: Well, it seems like, yeah, that seems very survivor esque.
- 4:00Speaker 3: To have a tribal serabony.
- 4:01Speaker 2: I'm out, they have no shelter and they're sleeping in
- 4:06Speaker 2: the rain. What makes me think that they wouldn't have
- 4:08Speaker 2: them recycle the buffs.
- 4:11Speaker 1: It's the only fresh thing they get. And I'm saying
- 4:15Speaker 1: I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I mean, I'm saying,
- 4:17Speaker 1: imagine it. Imagine them picking up someone's nasty ass buff.
- 4:22Speaker 1: It would fit the genre. You're right, it truly would. Well,
- 4:26Speaker 1: it would be a big cluster fuck though, everyone having
- 4:28Speaker 1: to go dive into those and find their own where
- 4:31Speaker 1: he could just hand them these fresh ones every time.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Yeah, and to be bought by us the viewers.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Well, actually put a Drama Darling sticker on top of
- 4:43Speaker 2: her buff, which looks amazing. So wow, that's just fantastic.
- 4:48Speaker 4: And look, I'm wearing therapists or idle bracelet.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Yes, kind of.
- 4:56Speaker 2: He's also now known as the Seer because he he
- 5:00Speaker 2: knows everything about Bravo and Traders and like he always
- 5:03Speaker 2: knows everything.
- 5:05Speaker 5: That's Mike, Yes, James, you didn't say what I brought.
- 5:10Speaker 5: I didn't know the leftover fruit fruits, some of the
- 5:13Speaker 5: leftover fruit from.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Oh there's a lemon, Get into that lemon. That's gonna
- 5:19Speaker 2: be refreshing.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Something's wrong with this gentleman's right testicle.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Looks like an idol to me.
- 5:33Speaker 1: You gotta get to really get these visuals. Everyone you
- 5:36Speaker 1: can't see.
- 5:37Speaker 2: You gotta get to to you know what that's right? Welcome,
- 5:41Speaker 2: All right, So we're talking Survivor. We're talking episodes four
- 5:44Speaker 2: and five. Obviously five aired last night and was, in fact,
- 5:49Speaker 2: as to steal a line from the Bachelor, The most
- 5:52Speaker 2: dramatic episode in history. I mean, they say it every
- 5:57Speaker 2: week on Bachelor, but I am blown away by this
- 6:01Speaker 2: series and in fact, and obviously you're gonna have to
- 6:04Speaker 2: correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like this
- 6:06Speaker 2: season is unlike any other. I mean, is it really
- 6:10Speaker 2: truly this good every time? Because between the storyline of Mitch,
- 6:15Speaker 2: which we've we've obviously dove into, but now this week
- 6:20Speaker 2: with Eva and her you know, talking about her autism
- 6:23Speaker 2: and of course expressing that to everyone, all of the
- 6:28Speaker 2: remaining survivors, but for her too, for us to witness
- 6:32Speaker 2: her having you know, basically as she called it, an
- 6:35Speaker 2: episode where she was overstimulated. So has this ever happened before?
- 6:40Speaker 2: Has Jeff Probes cried?
- 6:43Speaker 1: Jeff has never cried, and that's the truth. Wow, it
- 6:48Speaker 1: was very shocking to me when he teared up. I
- 6:52Speaker 1: will say this, though, Amy, is this the best episode?
- 6:55Speaker 2: No?
- 6:56Speaker 1: Many are this good? Many series I would think this.
- 7:01Speaker 4: I mean, this show has been on there are forty
- 7:03Speaker 4: eight seasons, So if we've waited forty eight seasons to
- 7:07Speaker 4: get to this, I.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Don't think the show would be on still.
- 7:10Speaker 4: I'm gonna say, because I've only watched a little bit
- 7:13Speaker 4: and Jamie has her PhD and Survivor.
- 7:16Speaker 1: My other car of a BA. It's a BA, Emily.
- 7:19Speaker 1: I don't know everything, and I skipped around a little
- 7:22Speaker 1: major in it and I get my dog grip. But yes,
- 7:25Speaker 1: I've seen most of them.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Well, I have some gameplay questions for you when we
- 7:29Speaker 4: get there.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Okay, sex sex, gameplay.
- 7:34Speaker 3: I'm just wondering what you're into.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Yeah, we actually it has nothing to do with survivor.
- 7:39Speaker 2: It's just like, what's your safe word? You know those
- 7:41Speaker 2: types of.
- 7:42Speaker 3: And we're gonna get there.
- 7:43Speaker 2: We're gonna we will, We'll get there.
- 7:45Speaker 1: My safe word is lemon.
- 7:47Speaker 2: My safe word is automan and and and and In
- 7:55Speaker 2: the bedroom, when we say throw down your buffs, it's
- 7:58Speaker 2: it's means something intect different.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I love you.
- 8:07Speaker 2: So well, that's great to know. But I think, you know,
- 8:11Speaker 2: as as we all say, representation matters, and I think
- 8:15Speaker 2: as the times you know, I know there have been
- 8:17Speaker 2: this many episods. I know that there have been were
- 8:19Speaker 2: in season what what.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Was the season forty eight?
- 8:21Speaker 2: Jesus, I can't even Okay, so I know we're at
- 8:23Speaker 2: season forty eight. However, representation wasn't there and visibility in
- 8:28Speaker 2: terms of you know, different races, authenticities, I'm sorry, ethnicities,
- 8:34Speaker 2: and of course representation with people who have challenges, probably
- 8:39Speaker 2: weren't there from the beginning, Am I right about that?
- 8:45Speaker 1: It was there? It was there, Okay, So in forty
- 8:48Speaker 1: eight years forty eight forty eight seasons is only like
- 8:54Speaker 1: eighteen years though, so right right, Like it probably came
- 8:57Speaker 1: out in like two thousand or something, so there was
- 9:00Speaker 1: a big part of it has always been bringing people
- 9:02Speaker 1: together of different backgrounds. So for example, there's and there
- 9:07Speaker 1: have been sometimes they biffed it. There's been you know,
- 9:10Speaker 1: men versus women. There was a season where it's like
- 9:12Speaker 1: brains versus braun and you know, they have all these
- 9:15Speaker 1: different They've had a lot of different gimmicks for sure,
- 9:19Speaker 1: and and some working better than others. But yes, a
- 9:24Speaker 1: lot of times this is the first time autism I
- 9:28Speaker 1: think has been on the table. But a lot of
- 9:30Speaker 1: times the issue that is dealt with is agism because
- 9:34Speaker 1: every season they try to throw someone on who's maybe
- 9:37Speaker 1: in their fifties, you know, along with all these young kids,
- 9:41Speaker 1: and so I think agism, I think there has been
- 9:44Speaker 1: some prejudice. You know, people that are are have never
- 9:50Speaker 1: been around anyone different from them, certainly, and also some misogyny,
- 9:55Speaker 1: sexism things, but never never this, And I have to
- 9:59Speaker 1: say that was so intense, and I just love the
- 10:06Speaker 1: daddy Joe, Joe, Joe.
- 10:09Speaker 4: He had me last episode when he was talking about
- 10:12Speaker 4: pegging his pants and his bojacks and cross trainers.
- 10:14Speaker 3: I was like, Hi, Joe, he is so he is so.
- 10:21Speaker 1: First of all, he makes great for great TV. In
- 10:25Speaker 1: his intensity is.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 10:27Speaker 2: I thought I was looking at the rock for a
- 10:28Speaker 2: second and that is this a scene from Yeah, Yeah.
- 10:32Speaker 4: And she when when Eva disclosed everything, the look on
- 10:37Speaker 4: his face, I was like, is he going to punch her?
- 10:39Speaker 2: Is he going to kill everyone? On the silence, But
- 10:44Speaker 2: in a.
- 10:44Speaker 4: Moment of pure joy, he was like I think he
- 10:48Speaker 4: was trying to not cry.
- 10:49Speaker 2: He was yeah, and obviously Okay, So first of all,
- 10:54Speaker 2: I really want to break this down because you know,
- 10:56Speaker 2: I've not seen this show, so I'm wondering. When obviously
- 11:01Speaker 2: Jeff said Joe, do you want to go over there?
- 11:04Speaker 2: That was a big deal, correct, because why I was
- 11:07Speaker 2: all wondering the whole time, why isn't Joe going over there?
- 11:09Speaker 2: Why isn't Joe going over there? Blame this.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Okay, showing his hand, I mean, is he not allowed
- 11:15Speaker 4: or is it showing his game?
- 11:17Speaker 2: It's both, It's okay, so it's both.
- 11:20Speaker 1: So the rules, yes, yeah, you can't intermingle. You can't
- 11:25Speaker 1: pop over to another group and be like, great job
- 11:27Speaker 1: on how you did that thing. They don't want you
- 11:29Speaker 1: talking to each other at all. Okay, So there is
- 11:33Speaker 1: no you don't even walk in and out together. You
- 11:35Speaker 1: walk in and out with your with your tribe. You
- 11:39Speaker 1: don't intermingle afterwards. You don't see them all chatting. They don't.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Let they don't.
- 11:43Speaker 3: How did Star tell.
- 11:47Speaker 2: They were floating on rafts?
- 11:49Speaker 3: Yeah, but they were on different teams.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Right, but they were within earshot. So they they do
- 11:54Speaker 2: cheat like that, don't they, Jamie?
- 11:56Speaker 1: Yes, absolutely. There's also a cheat that I've liked, like
- 12:00Speaker 1: two people who sit out are on bench together or yeah, right,
- 12:04Speaker 1: and they're like Bill's a jerk, you know, Like.
- 12:09Speaker 2: It does happen. It's just that now you're visible to
- 12:12Speaker 2: everybody at that time.
- 12:13Speaker 1: You ever read at the beginning or the end of
- 12:16Speaker 1: a challenge? Would that happen? A because it and also
- 12:20Speaker 1: I think it's what you're saying, is the other exact
- 12:23Speaker 1: part of it. If Joe had ran over there, he
- 12:26Speaker 1: would have completely shown his full last hand too.
- 12:29Speaker 2: I honestly, I kind of okay. I kind of wonder
- 12:33Speaker 2: if that wouldn't have been the case, because it's kind
- 12:36Speaker 2: of like, if he would have gone over there faster,
- 12:39Speaker 2: he just would have looked like a very genuinely caring person,
- 12:44Speaker 2: and then they would have avoided having to expose it
- 12:48Speaker 2: because Jeff made a big deal about Joe, do you
- 12:50Speaker 2: want to go over there? So it's almost like if
- 12:53Speaker 2: Joe would have just said, you know, do that thing
- 12:55Speaker 2: where it's like, do it and apologize for it later,
- 12:58Speaker 2: don't ask for permission, then he could have been like,
- 13:01Speaker 2: you know, are you okay? Are you okay? And then
- 13:04Speaker 2: Jeff wouldn't have said anything. Then it would have been okay,
- 13:07Speaker 2: and then he would have gone back over and no
- 13:09Speaker 2: one would have thought too much of it, whereas then
- 13:12Speaker 2: it was like, well, you guys have a connection and
- 13:16Speaker 2: an alliance, so now here we have it. I mean,
- 13:18Speaker 2: I just wonder if he would have just gone over there,
- 13:20Speaker 2: if that would have been okay.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I was wondering if maybe they turned like maybe they
- 13:26Speaker 1: edited it, maybe maybe they edited out a part where
- 13:30Speaker 1: Joe said, can I go over there? And they were like, no,
- 13:33Speaker 1: no mingling or something like there could be a little
- 13:36Speaker 1: bit be edited.
- 13:39Speaker 4: Because they even had to say it was okay to
- 13:41Speaker 4: talk about it. There was I wondered how long cameras
- 13:45Speaker 4: went down for like that whole Okay, we're gonna but
- 13:49Speaker 4: although she was not in a position to like, oh
- 13:52Speaker 4: we cut, okay, let's talk about this, so it had
- 13:55Speaker 4: to be producers very quickly being like, all right, we
- 14:00Speaker 4: we know that there is a system in place for
- 14:03Speaker 4: when Eva gets to here and we need to honor that.
- 14:07Speaker 3: And I think that they just were like, go go
- 14:09Speaker 3: go kind of thing.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Yeah, there is definitely at it. Yeah, but Jeff, you
- 14:15Speaker 1: know Jeff, Jeff is the host of the show for
- 14:18Speaker 1: forty eight seasons. He knows how to milk a moment.
- 14:21Speaker 1: He is very adept at that. So he he will
- 14:25Speaker 1: if he sees someone's upset, he'll be like, Amy, what's
- 14:29Speaker 1: going on with you right now? Like he's like that,
- 14:30Speaker 1: you know what I mean? He'll bring it to the
- 14:32Speaker 1: surface and I think they'll there definitely was maybe a
- 14:36Speaker 1: producer running over to it. Do you want us to
- 14:38Speaker 1: have Joe come over? Yes? Do you want us if
- 14:41Speaker 1: you want to talk about it, I want to talk
- 14:42Speaker 1: about it now. Probably something like.
- 14:44Speaker 2: That, mean okay, because it really says that there's a rule.
- 14:49Speaker 4: Maybe Joe also didn't want to mess up Eva's game,
- 14:52Speaker 4: like if I go over there, then I'm going to
- 14:54Speaker 4: punish sure, and I think I'm doing the right thing,
- 14:57Speaker 4: but then what if we both get cut?
- 14:59Speaker 2: I didn't know there he seemed a little frozen in
- 15:02Speaker 2: the moment, you know, like he wasn't sure what to do.
- 15:04Speaker 2: And you know, for that, I kind of was like,
- 15:08Speaker 2: why isn't Jeff going over there? Why isn't anyone doing
- 15:10Speaker 2: more than what they're doing? Because her team was doing
- 15:14Speaker 2: a great job at comforting her. I mean, they were
- 15:16Speaker 2: doing everything that they could, and then it just got
- 15:20Speaker 2: to the point where, you know, obviously with her being
- 15:22Speaker 2: completely overstimulated, that emotion needed to come out and it
- 15:27Speaker 2: wasn't going to end, and like when the team thought
- 15:31Speaker 2: it would, you know, when it would start to like
- 15:33Speaker 2: rise out, so they started to kind of like not
- 15:38Speaker 2: necessarily back away, but they were doing everything they could.
- 15:40Speaker 2: I just wondered it made me uneasy, not because she
- 15:46Speaker 2: was reacting that way, but because no one from production
- 15:50Speaker 2: was coming up to her, Jeff wasn't coming up to her,
- 15:54Speaker 2: and Joe was standing there staring at her. It just
- 15:57Speaker 2: was like, can someone do something please?
- 16:00Speaker 1: She was inconsolable too. That's the thing. I think maybe
- 16:02Speaker 1: there was some editing, because I feel like they probably
- 16:04Speaker 1: did try and she was just inconsolable. But I don't
- 16:07Speaker 1: think they tried very hard before they allowed Joe over there,
- 16:10Speaker 1: because I think they producers knew he will be the
- 16:13Speaker 1: one who can calm her down, and so I think
- 16:16Speaker 1: they were just waiting for that moment. What I'm curious
- 16:19Speaker 1: about is how ruthless are the other players going to be,
- 16:21Speaker 1: because right now you're looking at top two players for winning.
- 16:25Speaker 1: By the way, you better break that alliance up. But
- 16:27Speaker 1: who's going to want to do that now? She hasn't.
- 16:30Speaker 1: This ship is insane. I got to sell you in
- 16:33Speaker 1: Uncharted Waters. Uncharted Waters with her with Star giving her
- 16:37Speaker 1: the idol, which I thought was a brilliant move by Star.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Star came alive, she came up live.
- 16:43Speaker 4: Something clicked though with Charity in that moment when Eva
- 16:48Speaker 4: revealed herself, Charity got real.
- 16:52Speaker 3: Quiet, She got the real quiet. It got real weird
- 16:56Speaker 3: with Charity I don't know.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Oh she got by God me too, but.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Maybe her name is not well suited to her charitable person.
- 17:06Speaker 2: She also has like the biggest resting bitch face. I
- 17:09Speaker 2: think I've ever seen of anybody in the world like
- 17:13Speaker 2: you know, so that also may have it may be
- 17:17Speaker 2: real roots, but at the same time could possibly be true.
- 17:21Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know. She seems to wear the
- 17:22Speaker 2: emotions on her face, and she seemed a little like
- 17:25Speaker 2: I have.
- 17:26Speaker 4: I hate that term, by the way, resting bitch face,
- 17:29Speaker 4: because like there's no term for dudes with resting bitch face.
- 17:33Speaker 4: And it's also nose breathing. If you just nose breathe,
- 17:36Speaker 4: you look like you have what like if you're just.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Like otherwise known as nose breathing face face resting face.
- 17:45Speaker 1: All right, let's try it. Everyone breathes through your nose
- 17:47Speaker 1: and see what hampers.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Hmmm, I've got the biggest smile on my face. Okay,
- 17:56Speaker 2: So I.
- 17:57Speaker 1: See my mother and that's when she's mad at me.
- 18:00Speaker 3: Charity, You're face.
- 18:03Speaker 1: I can't breathe my nostrils like.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Your nostrils like it's immediately making my nostrils flair. So
- 18:10Speaker 2: I'm already looking like I'm gonna eat.
- 18:12Speaker 3: You're supposed to nose breathe.
- 18:14Speaker 4: And it also makes you calmer, and by the way,
- 18:17Speaker 4: looks you less, makes you look less engaged. It just
- 18:21Speaker 4: because you're just like having your mouth open makes you
- 18:24Speaker 4: look like you're more engaged.
- 18:26Speaker 3: And if you're just like nose breathing.
- 18:29Speaker 2: All right, let's get back to Charity, Let's get back
- 18:32Speaker 2: to Star. Let's get back to that tribe. Well, wait,
- 18:36Speaker 2: and the end Joe, of course, Joe.
- 18:38Speaker 4: Joe.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Firefighter, not not Shannon's Joe.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Can I can I close the loop by what you said, Emily,
- 18:47Speaker 1: why don't we make resting dick face a thing? Yeah,
- 18:51Speaker 1: it's very okay. Yes, this was quite a moment, and yes,
- 18:58Speaker 1: Charity is sneaky I think. And also, don't forget Eva
- 19:02Speaker 1: was like, I don't like her. Yeah, she also said
- 19:06Speaker 1: I don't like Star either, so.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Well, you know, I have to say Eva choosing Joe
- 19:13Speaker 2: to be the person to ground.
- 19:14Speaker 6: Her was a very good choice to Joe, I need
- 19:22Speaker 6: you over here. Let me get into Dead's arms.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Back in Dead.
- 19:31Speaker 4: If you were watching that, it was so uncomfortable, like
- 19:34Speaker 4: if you had no idea what was going on there.
- 19:36Speaker 4: I was like This has got to be so confusing
- 19:39Speaker 4: to every contestant watching like this comfort scene happen, because
- 19:43Speaker 4: they must be like, are they going to fuck?
- 19:46Speaker 3: Like it just insane.
- 19:48Speaker 1: I don't like skin on skin contact either. I don't
- 19:51Speaker 1: like when people hug me when I'm wearing my bathing suit.
- 19:53Speaker 1: I don't like skin on skin and sand probably why
- 19:57Speaker 1: I don't have a lover there. The skin on skin
- 20:01Speaker 1: hug of that length was a lot to process. But again,
- 20:06Speaker 1: I I just was happy as hell that he was
- 20:08Speaker 1: there to do it, because I have I saw what
- 20:11Speaker 1: she was. She was in a full episode and it was.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Yeah, and you know what skin on skin is Actually
- 20:16Speaker 2: what you do with your baby when they first come out.
- 20:19Speaker 2: That's what they tell you.
- 20:20Speaker 1: So get off. They're all covered in ambiotic fluid, and well,
- 20:28Speaker 1: you can choose.
- 20:29Speaker 2: You can choose to have them, you know, shammied off
- 20:33Speaker 2: before they're set on you. But you check the box.
- 20:38Speaker 2: It's like when you go to a you know, a
- 20:39Speaker 2: car wash, You're like, what do you want? Do you want? Like,
- 20:42Speaker 2: you know, do you want hand wash? You want a shammy?
- 20:44Speaker 2: Do you want dry? Do you want? You just check
- 20:46Speaker 2: those boxes and then they give the baby to you.
- 20:48Speaker 2: And then they put them on your skin. So you know,
- 20:51Speaker 2: I think in that situation, skin on skin is probably
- 20:55Speaker 2: the best option. But also you're on an island. You
- 20:58Speaker 2: guys are sweating on each other their concerts, in each
- 21:01Speaker 2: other's grills, being like, you know, like the challenges they're like,
- 21:07Speaker 2: they're so intense, they're all.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Over damboo leaves. It's disgusting. I mean the breath, the
- 21:14Speaker 1: breath under her arm, under arm. I can I tell
- 21:19Speaker 1: you really funny my parents. My mom always says the
- 21:21Speaker 1: story when I was born, that they that my dad
- 21:24Speaker 1: was there and they put me on her chest and
- 21:26Speaker 1: I was all gross and I was screaming and I
- 21:29Speaker 1: was so mad. My mom says, when I was born,
- 21:32Speaker 1: I was pissed off. She said, I came out so angry.
- 21:36Speaker 1: She said the first the first time I looked at her,
- 21:38Speaker 1: she was like oh, because I was like, I'm so mad.
- 21:42Speaker 1: She said, they put her on her on her chest,
- 21:44Speaker 1: and that my mom started crying and she says to
- 21:46Speaker 1: my dad, isn't she beautiful? And then my mom says,
- 21:50Speaker 1: my dad was like, like, so a lot of our
- 21:55Speaker 1: family dynamic. I'm screaming at my mom. She's loving on me.
- 21:58Speaker 1: And my dad's.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Well, Maddie flipped me off immediately, you know, she was
- 22:10Speaker 2: like little baby finger flip off. But speaking of like
- 22:16Speaker 2: all of the all of the body, you know, fluids
- 22:19Speaker 2: and stuff like that, you know, I do. I spot
- 22:21Speaker 2: like Loomy is sponsoring this show and like it is
- 22:25Speaker 2: like an organic whole body deodorant, which is amazing because
- 22:29Speaker 2: they sent me because I'm doing ads for them now
- 22:32Speaker 2: and they sent me products and it is really good.
- 22:34Speaker 2: I don't know if you've seen commercials before, Oh you
- 22:37Speaker 2: have them?
- 22:38Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I use it all. I have three. I
- 22:40Speaker 3: keep three in my bag all the time.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Because you want to go your whole body, you can.
- 22:45Speaker 2: There's different things. There's a stick, there's a spray, there's
- 22:48Speaker 2: a lotion, right.
- 22:50Speaker 4: I have the I have the to go packs that
- 22:52Speaker 4: it's like a white pye cloth so you just like
- 22:54Speaker 4: freshen up real fast, like like if you don't. I've
- 22:58Speaker 4: had times where I didn't have a chance to take
- 23:00Speaker 4: a shower real quick, and I gotta go and just
- 23:04Speaker 4: wipe all the parts and.
- 23:05Speaker 1: You're running out too, so fast, back.
- 23:08Speaker 4: To work out, back back to the beach, throw a
- 23:12Speaker 4: log around.
- 23:13Speaker 2: She comes and does the podcast. Then she goes and exercises,
- 23:16Speaker 2: then she comes back and does the podcast, and then
- 23:19Speaker 2: she already does She's constantly working out. But I have

- 23:42Speaker 2: Oh yeah, the cream tube is amazing. And then you
- 23:45Speaker 2: get two products of your choice, like the mini body wash,
- 23:48Speaker 2: which is good for travel because I'm leaving too, and
- 23:51Speaker 2: then to go to Chicago. And then also deodorant wipes. Again,
- 23:54Speaker 2: those wipes are the bomb. So I have see I
- 23:58Speaker 2: love a wipe. So you can go to l U
- 24:02Speaker 2: M E D E O d O R A n

- 24:12Speaker 2: So how about that?
- 24:12Speaker 4: I realize, sorry I talked to what do you want
- 24:15Speaker 4: to give that code again?
- 24:16Speaker 3: Because I I did it? R Yeah, I really.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Didn't understand the words. So what were you spelling?
- 24:22Speaker 2: Loomy gloomy loomy deodorant dot com. It's drama Darling to

- 24:33Speaker 2: website code is drama Darling.
- 24:36Speaker 1: I need the website again, please.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Loomy Deodorant dot Com. L U M E D E
- 24:42Speaker 2: O D O R A n T dot com.
- 24:46Speaker 1: L U M E deodorant dot com. Yeah, okay, that's beautiful.
- 24:51Speaker 1: You didn't say the odorant. I don't know what you're selling,
- 24:54Speaker 1: dave C D E F G. I need the I
- 24:58Speaker 1: need context, and so does our listeners.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Thank you, Jamie. We really drove it home. You know, Emily,
- 25:06Speaker 2: you wanted to say something.
- 25:10Speaker 3: One lemon. Jamie just uses a lemon.
- 25:12Speaker 4: Everybody's working great. I just realized the way I said that,
- 25:18Speaker 4: it's like I'm in a constant needing arms length reach
- 25:21Speaker 4: of something to make me not smell.
- 25:23Speaker 3: But I mean, I guess.
- 25:25Speaker 2: That's not a bad thing, my friend, not a bad thing.
- 25:28Speaker 1: How you keep that husband of years happy?
- 25:31Speaker 3: Send me that lemon?
- 25:33Speaker 1: Lemon drama dar all right?
- 25:41Speaker 2: So all right, so we have Star who completely has
- 25:46Speaker 2: been sleeping this entire four episodes, okay, until five. She
- 25:50Speaker 2: came alive. She was leading the charge. I was like,
- 25:55Speaker 2: she is leading an organization, she is leading a movement
- 25:59Speaker 2: with her speech on.
- 26:01Speaker 3: The log She's our north star, she is our She was.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Like, I've got I am, I am you know, no
- 26:08Speaker 2: matter what I've got it, you know, I'm here for you.
- 26:10Speaker 2: And she was relating because she was like, I have
- 26:12Speaker 2: relatives that have autism, people I love, And she was like,
- 26:16Speaker 2: everything is mine, the sure of my back, you know,
- 26:19Speaker 2: my uh, what is it called a bro.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Buff above my bro above.
- 26:25Speaker 2: And so you've got two people here now that have
- 26:29Speaker 2: Eva's back to the degree in which they're willing to
- 26:32Speaker 2: do what they're like, I'm done with this game. As
- 26:34Speaker 2: long as you're happy Eva, as long as I got
- 26:36Speaker 2: never this is.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Bad though, for all of them. This is not good Amy.
- 26:40Speaker 1: I've seen it a billion trillion times. O real little
- 26:43Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Come on. Anytime there's someone who you know,
- 26:49Speaker 1: you have to remember at some point soon you have
- 26:53Speaker 1: to get out the nice people or they will be
- 26:56Speaker 1: the one someone gives. That's why people lie about what
- 26:58Speaker 1: they do for a living when they come on Survivor.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Sometimes they don't say I'm a kindergarten teacher in an
- 27:05Speaker 1: underdeveloped country most of the time. And then I come
- 27:09Speaker 1: home sometimes to volunteer at the hospitals because they know
- 27:13Speaker 1: that America or the jury would give them the money.
- 27:17Speaker 1: So they come in and they go, I'm a I'm
- 27:20Speaker 1: a bike messenger. You know. They don't want to be
- 27:24Speaker 1: known as I don't hate Jamie.
- 27:28Speaker 4: We're seeing something a little weird though, because what's his
- 27:31Speaker 4: face is flipped it He isn't he's an attorney, but
- 27:34Speaker 4: he's telling everybody he's a teacher.
- 27:36Speaker 3: So he's softening.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Yeah, he's softening himself because he doesn't want them to
- 27:41Speaker 1: think they're smart. Yeah, there's always strategy is constantly at
- 27:44Speaker 1: play here, and I am very curious to see what
- 27:47Speaker 1: happens because right now, well, first of all, start genius,
- 27:51Speaker 1: because once you people know you have an idol, they
- 27:54Speaker 1: want you out, you know what I mean. They want
- 27:56Speaker 1: that idol back in play. And so we're giving the
- 27:59Speaker 1: idol to the one person that no one's gonna want
- 28:01Speaker 1: to vote out now except for maybe Charity. That bitch
- 28:05Speaker 1: is really smart because Star has made herself, she's she's
- 28:10Speaker 1: endeared herself to Eva, She's gotten a target off her
- 28:14Speaker 1: back with the rest of the group they all have
- 28:17Speaker 1: bonded more to find out what those codes mean. So
- 28:20Speaker 1: it's like really good for Star's game right now. She's
- 28:23Speaker 1: very smart. And Eva didn't like Star and now she does.
- 28:27Speaker 2: So that Eva was the only one who knew that
- 28:29Speaker 2: she had the idol and she.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Told everybody it was kind of tricky. Autism is a
- 28:35Speaker 1: sign she's a little bit tricky. So so I like
- 28:38Speaker 1: her very much because she's she's first of all, I
- 28:40Speaker 1: want to go back to something real quick. When she
- 28:43Speaker 1: said it's not something to be ashamed of, she was.
- 28:46Speaker 1: And she goes to parents watching treat your kids a
- 28:49Speaker 1: certain kind of way. I thought that was so beautiful
- 28:54Speaker 1: because she's right.
- 28:55Speaker 3: You want to vote her out, and I guess she's
- 28:57Speaker 3: got to go.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Though, She's got to go get on the lecture circuit, babe.
- 29:04Speaker 2: That game, though, was the worst game I've ever seen.
- 29:08Speaker 2: That was so frustrating. With that ball thing, I thought,
- 29:11Speaker 2: no one is going to be able to accomplish this task.
- 29:14Speaker 2: I couldn't believe that that the three teams did it.
- 29:18Speaker 4: That's like so that I think that that kind of
- 29:21Speaker 4: roller ball table thing that that comes up a lot though,
- 29:26Speaker 4: because it slows down the it forces you.
- 29:30Speaker 3: To slow down.
- 29:32Speaker 4: But the thing that got me about that task was
- 29:35Speaker 4: going under the log in the sand, and that was
- 29:39Speaker 4: making me like so closter phony than getting yanked out
- 29:43Speaker 4: by your arm.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Yeah, talk about being birthed and put on someone's skin.
- 29:47Speaker 3: That was that worst top of my head.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Oh no, lord, you think this is I can't wait
- 29:53Speaker 1: for y'all to see my One of my favorites, and
- 29:55Speaker 1: the most nerve wracking is when they do this one
- 29:58Speaker 1: where this they put a.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Ball the lemon again, darlings, she's using it for everything.
- 30:06Speaker 2: It's like, whose line is it? Anyway? What can Jamie
- 30:12Speaker 2: do with this prop during the recap? Give her a lemon?
- 30:17Speaker 1: You can tell like, just so jealous that I believe
- 30:19Speaker 1: got the good costume.
- 30:21Speaker 3: You've got to graduate.
- 30:23Speaker 1: The ball goes down this like maze, and then you
- 30:25Speaker 1: have to catch it and put it back, and then
- 30:27Speaker 1: they keep sending more down. You want to talk about
- 30:30Speaker 1: your catch? Why did they put it? And then another
- 30:32Speaker 1: one and they catch another one.
- 30:36Speaker 2: With one ball.
- 30:39Speaker 1: That's what he said. I like this kind of act though, Amy,
- 30:45Speaker 1: You're tapping into something brilliant because they can't all have
- 30:49Speaker 1: bron behind them, because there are not everyone on there
- 30:52Speaker 1: is not some big, big browny person, so they need
- 30:55Speaker 1: these exercises to make it more fair.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Yeah, that makes sense. Eva will crush an obstacle course
- 31:03Speaker 2: like no one's business. I've never seen anyone so psyched
- 31:06Speaker 2: about like a sporting event and partaking, you know, because
- 31:10Speaker 2: like I am not, I would not be that psyched
- 31:14Speaker 2: about it. I'd be like, oh my god, how am
- 31:16Speaker 2: I going to do this? You know what I mean,
- 31:17Speaker 2: Like I can't believe I have did this, so to
- 31:19Speaker 2: see like her and Joe and you know, I don't know,
- 31:22Speaker 2: maybe maybe there's some other people, but they seem to
- 31:24Speaker 2: be the most hyped up and so excited to crush
- 31:29Speaker 2: an obstacle course that I love it.
- 31:32Speaker 3: Well.
- 31:33Speaker 4: But but Mary Eve, David, Charity and Star on the
- 31:36Speaker 4: Purple Team. They they are doing really well, and I
- 31:42Speaker 4: think people underestimated them because that's the team with all
- 31:47Speaker 4: women and one guy and.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Cure the milk guy.
- 31:52Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, that's how Charity's gonna goula. Yeah, the Purple Team,
- 31:58Speaker 4: the new Purple Team. Oh oh, loggie, loggie, sorry you
- 32:04Speaker 4: have Charity wants David's alliance. She gotta, she's gotta provide milk.
- 32:11Speaker 2: She has him but he's like, ne, don't trust her.
- 32:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I know she's she's a bit of an interesting
- 32:18Speaker 1: She seems like if she was in our friend group,
- 32:21Speaker 1: she'd be a lot.
- 32:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:24Speaker 4: I don't know how much we would be able to afford,
- 32:28Speaker 4: would I know we will?
- 32:30Speaker 1: What's wrong, Charity? It's Jill's birthday. When I went to
- 32:35Speaker 1: get my nails done that man, you know, she seems
- 32:38Speaker 1: like drama.
- 32:40Speaker 2: So she really is fake and Eva called it out
- 32:42Speaker 2: at that little banquet. I mean, she knew exactly how
- 32:45Speaker 2: to read her.
- 32:47Speaker 4: The other part of her would be at the birthday party.
- 32:50Speaker 4: That would drive me nuts, Jamie. At this birthday party,
- 32:53Speaker 4: Charity would command the attention of the table to be like,
- 32:56Speaker 4: we will never ever be at this table again.
- 33:00Speaker 1: That's right.
- 33:00Speaker 3: I mean, how does it feel? What are you feeling?
- 33:03Speaker 3: We're in this moment together. It's just like, oh my god,
- 33:06Speaker 3: I just want to talk about Bravo or I might.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Past the freaking Brussels sprout scamp.
- 33:13Speaker 2: That was so exciting to see them eat all that
- 33:16Speaker 2: food and David with his milk.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Wow, my god, he is so immature. This guy is
- 33:22Speaker 1: an immature little bachelor. He is that I live on
- 33:27Speaker 1: my Dag's property. If I drink milk all day, I
- 33:29Speaker 1: don't know why my girlfriend doesn't want to marry me.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Are you hearing? I got he's as chiseled as a
- 33:36Speaker 1: body could be. But I'm also giving the movie big
- 33:40Speaker 1: I'm twelve years old in a man's body. I did
- 33:45Speaker 1: want some milk after I saw that, and I definitely
- 33:47Speaker 1: wanted a ham and cheese Chris Hall. Yeah.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Wait, I loved at the beginning of that challenge when
- 33:55Speaker 2: Jeff was explaining what will be at these little at
- 33:58Speaker 2: the sanctuary or whatever, and he goes and donuts and say,
- 34:03Speaker 2: goes donuts. Wait will there be donuts? He was the
- 34:09Speaker 2: most sincere, genuine like, wait, did I hear that?
- 34:12Speaker 1: Writer?
- 34:12Speaker 2: Am I losing my mind because I'm on an island
- 34:14Speaker 2: and I haven't eaten? Did he just say donuts?
- 34:17Speaker 1: Someone tell me the truth or is this a mirage? Guys?
- 34:20Speaker 2: What are they eating?
- 34:21Speaker 1: Though?
- 34:22Speaker 2: I need to know what are they eating?
- 34:24Speaker 1: Right now? Water? Water in but there's water in a
- 34:28Speaker 1: safe there's safe water in a jug that they go
- 34:31Speaker 1: fill their bottles with.
- 34:33Speaker 4: Okay, are you talking about all not at sanctuaries right, right,
- 34:37Speaker 4: You're talking.
- 34:37Speaker 1: About in general? Right, they're eating. They're they're having water.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Water is provided, got that typically rice is provided. I
- 34:45Speaker 1: do not see any rice yet. I believe they are
- 34:48Speaker 1: eating fish and bugs.
- 34:50Speaker 2: And so they are eating bugs. They have to catch
- 34:54Speaker 2: their own food.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Wait till you see. Sometimes they get offered a chicken
- 34:58Speaker 1: and a live chicken and then there's a big fight
- 35:01Speaker 1: back at camp. Should we save it for the eggs
- 35:03Speaker 1: or cook it and eat it? And one time there
- 35:05Speaker 1: was a guy who's such an mpath and such an
- 35:07Speaker 1: animal lover. He freed the chickens. He acted like, oh no,
- 35:11Speaker 1: someone didn't lock the cage, but the cameras caught him
- 35:13Speaker 1: being like, go freak lucky, you live live. And other
- 35:20Speaker 1: times they're like all right, gotta go. Camera slides over
- 35:23Speaker 1: this way and then kill a chicken right on.
- 35:27Speaker 2: So are they just going in the water and getting
- 35:29Speaker 2: fish out of the water. They have to spear the fish.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Well, they go to the fish market in Seattle.
- 35:38Speaker 3: They're giving one hundred dollars at Whole Foods.
- 35:40Speaker 2: It's a top chop challenge.
- 35:43Speaker 1: I mean, Emily, yeah, can I can? I can I
- 35:45Speaker 1: say something? I don't want to?
- 35:48Speaker 2: You can't?
- 35:49Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I will? You know I love
- 35:51Speaker 1: to chat I my Gammer darlings. I don't want to
- 35:56Speaker 1: I don't want to sleep on the first episode that
- 35:59Speaker 1: we watched, the first of this, the four of Us.
- 36:02Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, episode four.
- 36:04Speaker 2: I don't want to sleep on it either. But we
- 36:07Speaker 2: really need to get to the I want to talk
- 36:11Speaker 2: about the leaving at the Let's talk about the fifth
- 36:15Speaker 2: episode and the end, and then we'll go back to Fourthie.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Okay, smart works, smart works. Okay.
- 36:23Speaker 2: So we have after the Sand and the Ball and
- 36:28Speaker 2: the Hole challenge that we just talked about with Eva's situation,
- 36:33Speaker 2: and Vula wins and this is exciting because Vula always lost.
- 36:38Speaker 2: So this new Vula is exciting. And Loggie got second
- 36:41Speaker 2: star supporting blahbdi blog gives her the idol, so on
- 36:45Speaker 2: and so forth. Now let's talk about Bianca and how
- 36:49Speaker 2: we're in a situation here.
- 36:50Speaker 3: What this is my question for Jamie? Keep going?
- 36:53Speaker 2: Okay, So Bianca is playing both sides because she doesn't
- 36:57Speaker 2: have a vote. Her plan, which she thought was gonna work,
- 37:01Speaker 2: did not end up happening. Her plan was to get
- 37:04Speaker 2: Mitch and Chrissy to vote for Say and for Say
- 37:07Speaker 2: and Cedric to vote for Chrissy and then to have
- 37:09Speaker 2: a revote, and that she was hoping that Cedric would
- 37:12Speaker 2: flip and vote for Say So. She finally, moments before
- 37:18Speaker 2: tribal Council begins, moments leaving Cedric no time at all,
- 37:23Speaker 2: she confesses to him that she has no vote, to
- 37:26Speaker 2: which his face was gobsmacked. Gobsmacked. He then has to
- 37:32Speaker 2: decide what he's gonna do. He apparently had time to
- 37:37Speaker 2: pull Chrissy aside to tell her, which I don't think
- 37:40Speaker 2: we saw, because she did end up voting for Bianca.
- 37:43Speaker 2: Bianca goes, holy shit, you guys, wow, all right, what
- 37:47Speaker 2: are your thoughts?
- 37:48Speaker 4: My question for Jamie do you think that she should
- 37:52Speaker 4: have told I was when she's saying I don't know
- 37:55Speaker 4: if I should tell Cedric, I'm thinking, yes, tell Cedric.
- 37:58Speaker 3: Tell Cedric.
- 37:59Speaker 4: But because if she didn't tell him and they found
- 38:03Speaker 4: out later, then she wouldn't But then I don't, like
- 38:08Speaker 4: she said, it would be a kind of.
- 38:10Speaker 3: Like a huge red flag. But then now I don't.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Know, what do you That was a mistake, That was
- 38:15Speaker 1: a father thing, And and I think that I get
- 38:18Speaker 1: why she wanted to tell him at the last minute,
- 38:20Speaker 1: but she should have trusted her instincts because if she
- 38:22Speaker 1: hadn't said it, then we would have gone into exactly
- 38:25Speaker 1: what she mentioned, which is a tie between say and
- 38:30Speaker 1: old girl Christy and then Chrissy legs. So yeah, agism, shit, fuck,
- 38:40Speaker 1: I did it. She's a firefighter, amy, cut it, cut
- 38:44Speaker 1: it out, now, cut a firefighter. She's a firefighter. Who's uh,
- 38:49Speaker 1: you know, an old girl. Old girl is a term
- 38:51Speaker 1: of endearment, by the way.
- 38:53Speaker 2: I know, I know, I'm totally say.
- 38:55Speaker 1: I got to go home to old girl and it's
- 38:57Speaker 1: her twenty five year old wife, you know. So don't
- 38:59Speaker 1: you know what you like old man colloquialism, jism, colloquialism
- 39:06Speaker 1: jism right now, because old girl is a say and jism,
- 39:10Speaker 1: I'm telling.
- 39:10Speaker 4: You right now, I am getting my vote, all right,
- 39:13Speaker 4: go ahead, Wait.
- 39:14Speaker 1: I just want to I want to answer your question. So, yes,
- 39:16Speaker 1: that was a mistake, and here's why I think so.
- 39:19Speaker 1: But also I think telling Cedric she didn't understand how
- 39:21Speaker 1: burned Cedric was by pizza guy who did the same thing.
- 39:25Speaker 1: He didn't have a vote, And Cedric's like, I'm not
- 39:28Speaker 1: gonna screw say again off of someone who lied to
- 39:31Speaker 1: me the whole day. That's what it is.
- 39:33Speaker 4: Good point I forgot about that from episode four.
- 39:37Speaker 3: Iever forgot that that's what happened.
- 39:39Speaker 2: Then Cedric didn't have time to tell Say or what
- 39:44Speaker 2: because now Say might be mad at Cedric because she
- 39:48Speaker 2: voted for Chrissy and that was the plan. So how
- 39:52Speaker 2: that's gonna end up backfiring? So Say might still be
- 39:54Speaker 2: mad at Cedric because he knew less.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Less so, but less so.
- 39:59Speaker 2: She could have been gone, oh, yeah, that's true, Okay,
- 40:02Speaker 2: you're right, you're right.
- 40:02Speaker 1: And she's a wildcard. He probably didn't tell her because
- 40:04Speaker 1: she doesn't have a shut her dang mouth. She probably
- 40:06Speaker 1: would have said at tribal council, well, Brittany doesn't have
- 40:09Speaker 1: a vote. Cedric told me she's too much of a
- 40:11Speaker 1: wildcard the way she's playing radically.
- 40:14Speaker 3: Say is out next time.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Anyway.
- 40:16Speaker 4: I think Cedric knows that, I mean, like, unless she
- 40:20Speaker 4: has something to prevent her from going up.
- 40:22Speaker 2: But why do you say that?
- 40:24Speaker 4: I don't think anybody likes working with Say, I mean doesn't.
- 40:28Speaker 2: She's a.
- 40:31Speaker 4: Mitch doesn't either, though, like and and all they need
- 40:35Speaker 4: is you know Cedric.
- 40:38Speaker 3: But yeah, and I don't.
- 40:40Speaker 4: Even think if she gets back in with Mary, I
- 40:42Speaker 4: don't think I think that they have a nice vibe
- 40:46Speaker 4: and understanding.
- 40:47Speaker 1: But her.
- 40:50Speaker 2: Say, and I mean because Mary was like, we're good,
- 40:54Speaker 2: We're good over here, we're stocked, we're locked, we're we're hydrated,
- 40:58Speaker 2: we're refueled, like let's go oh and and then say
- 41:02Speaker 2: it was like take it down a couple of notches
- 41:05Speaker 2: because some of us, Yeah, that was weird. So now
- 41:08Speaker 2: they're not going to have that friendly little The worst.
- 41:12Speaker 1: They say ever did that I couldn't believe. My jaw
- 41:15Speaker 1: hit the ground was when she goes, I need a break,
- 41:19Speaker 1: Like are you crazy? This is unbelievable. She's like, I
- 41:24Speaker 1: need a break, and I'm like, this is not workers
- 41:28Speaker 1: comp kind of a place. What are you talking about?
- 41:30Speaker 3: I couldn't believe it.
- 41:32Speaker 4: And like I said, I haven't watched that much Survivor,
- 41:35Speaker 4: but my ass if it is going to be working
- 41:38Speaker 4: the second from the second I'm on the airplane to Survivor, like,
- 41:42Speaker 4: I'm not going to take a break.
- 41:45Speaker 1: Tell you talking about I've been in every challenge and
- 41:48Speaker 1: Christy was like so have I.
- 41:51Speaker 3: That was crazy SoC right, I mean I think most.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Of them, I mean, my god, think one thing.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Tribe you should you should be really doubling down on
- 42:02Speaker 2: a new tribe so that you get that chemistry.
- 42:05Speaker 3: Acting on their ship. I was like, this is the
- 42:09Speaker 3: boldest move that way.
- 42:12Speaker 1: She's like a Kiwi. I'm like, oh lord, you are
- 42:15Speaker 1: putting a Kiwi target on your back.
- 42:18Speaker 2: The like the star of all the fruits, not no
- 42:22Speaker 2: no Tino shade starfruit. But so are you guys bummed
- 42:27Speaker 2: that Bianca is gone?
- 42:31Speaker 4: I felt bad for her because it really when she
- 42:33Speaker 4: said she's been watching since she was eight, and you know,
- 42:37Speaker 4: like the build up to this thing, and I'm sure
- 42:39Speaker 4: she I think she did something I would do, which
- 42:42Speaker 4: is like, think of all the gameplays that you have
- 42:46Speaker 4: ever seen, and you're you get wrapped up and you
- 42:49Speaker 4: don't you miss the thing that's so obvious right in
- 42:51Speaker 4: front of you.
- 42:52Speaker 3: And that's why, Yeah, yeah, I.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Feel bad for her. But they gotta all go to
- 42:57Speaker 1: get us down to like the once we get down
- 42:59Speaker 1: and that when the ship is freaking amazing, like this
- 43:03Speaker 1: is a great season. It's it is, but I would
- 43:05Speaker 1: never say to you it's the best. They're all good.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Boston rob season is the first season with Boston Robb.
- 43:10Speaker 1: Are you kidding me?
- 43:11Speaker 2: All right, let's talk before we talk about before we
- 43:15Speaker 2: talk about episode four. I want to mention that when
- 43:19Speaker 2: Voula had their meal, their lesser meal and they had
- 43:23Speaker 2: election right when they were talking about what their parents
- 43:27Speaker 2: went through, like Survivor's hard, but let's get real, I
- 43:30Speaker 2: ran yes, Sri Lanka, Jim Crow laws and them bonding together,
- 43:35Speaker 2: and Camilla in her confessional saying, like you know, I
- 43:39Speaker 2: she's crying and she's so emotional, saying I don't want
- 43:41Speaker 2: to vote anyone out of this, and they all pretty
- 43:43Speaker 2: much have an agreement like this is their block, which
- 43:46Speaker 2: I'm assuming is there is terminology for like how they
- 43:50Speaker 2: block other people in the end, right, and they're going
- 43:53Speaker 2: to run, and Camilla's like, we're set, So they have
- 43:56Speaker 2: a strong alliance here, right.
- 44:00Speaker 1: Yeah. I think when they say this is our block,
- 44:02Speaker 1: it's more like we are a unit of numbers, where
- 44:07Speaker 1: a unit of numbers going forward. And it's brilliant if
- 44:11Speaker 1: they can pull it off, because they have the most
- 44:14Speaker 1: brilliant secret, which is they if they all like each
- 44:19Speaker 1: other and bonded, but on paper they wouldn't look that way.
- 44:22Speaker 1: So when they merge, which is maybe even next week,
- 44:25Speaker 1: all the original tribes are going to kind of go
- 44:27Speaker 1: back to each other y'all. So you're like, oh, finally
- 44:30Speaker 1: I'm back with you. Finally we're back together. And so
- 44:33Speaker 1: having the it's like having four sleeper cells, mixing, mixing
- 44:38Speaker 1: amongst others. So when the others are like, let's vote out,
- 44:43Speaker 1: let's vote out Camille, they're going to be like, no,
- 44:45Speaker 1: what about this guy? And if they're good at it,
- 44:47Speaker 1: they're going to end up to a place where suddenly
- 44:50Speaker 1: they're in the majority.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, I.
- 44:52Speaker 4: Mean it's kind of what Camilla and Kyle did at
- 44:55Speaker 4: the end episode four.
- 44:57Speaker 2: Let's get to it, all right, you lead the charge
- 45:00Speaker 2: episode four? How do you want to begin that? Do
- 45:02Speaker 2: you want to go into the balls challenge?
- 45:03Speaker 1: No?
- 45:04Speaker 2: I'm kidding No, all right, so we have there day Okay,
- 45:10Speaker 2: so we're on day eight. Vula rain all night, no shelter,
- 45:16Speaker 2: Cedric and say look for the idol. Mary joins them,
- 45:19Speaker 2: and Mary says that that say, like, Mary and say
- 45:24Speaker 2: kind of joined together officially at this point, and Mary's
- 45:27Speaker 2: like says, real life people, eyes are soft and trusting.
- 45:35Speaker 2: All right, So we do the tribe switch. The California
- 45:40Speaker 2: Girls group is still intact. Anytime, do you want to
- 45:46Speaker 2: jump in?
- 45:47Speaker 3: Yeah? No, so I have two.
- 45:50Speaker 4: Is I have two things that I think I miss
- 45:53Speaker 4: And maybe it was before episode four.
- 45:57Speaker 2: You were like, you guys were chopping at the bit
- 45:59Speaker 2: to talk about episode four. I'm like, let's do it,
- 46:01Speaker 2: and you're like, I don't want.
- 46:04Speaker 1: To interrupt you. You've got a beautiful I didn't know.
- 46:08Speaker 2: The trial.
- 46:09Speaker 1: It was soothing, your soothing voice. You're like Bill walks
- 46:12Speaker 1: over to Jill. There are eleven lemons and Jill's basket
- 46:16Speaker 1: and eight lemons. I was just literally like, wow, this.
- 46:19Speaker 4: Is Jamie My strategy to let you just burn out
- 46:22Speaker 4: and then we're.
- 46:23Speaker 3: Going to be like, all right, let's start back in
- 46:24Speaker 3: the episode.
- 46:25Speaker 2: All right, em you were going to say something.
- 46:28Speaker 4: Did Bianca lose her vote in episode four? Or was
- 46:31Speaker 4: it before episode four?
- 46:32Speaker 2: I couldn't figure out for okay, on a journey, right.
- 46:36Speaker 1: Yea journey and she fucked it up and she didn't
- 46:38Speaker 1: get it and she lost it, and okay, that is
- 46:42Speaker 1: a scary place to be when the numbers are so
- 46:44Speaker 1: low because everyone can see what's what. So yeah, she
- 46:47Speaker 1: lost it. Pre This episode that we're talking about now
- 46:51Speaker 1: was the most brilliant blind side of all time. Maybe
- 46:56Speaker 1: I mean not really. They're always like this, so you
- 46:58Speaker 1: you wouldn't believe how some people blind their friends. But
- 47:01Speaker 1: this was so smart. The way those two played it
- 47:04Speaker 1: was brilliant. And the look on all of their faces,
- 47:10Speaker 1: the California girls.
- 47:13Speaker 2: They were dumbfounded. I mean, honestly, that was fantastic.
- 47:18Speaker 3: I mean Thomas was lying to all them too.
- 47:21Speaker 4: Thomas was lying to the California girls because he had
- 47:25Speaker 4: his shit too that he said he gave up and
- 47:30Speaker 4: they weren't believing Camilla.
- 47:32Speaker 3: Remember she said she.
- 47:35Speaker 2: Blew up his ship by yeah right, but they.
- 47:37Speaker 4: Didn't believe her, and Thomas was their guy, so they
- 47:40Speaker 4: believed him.
- 47:41Speaker 3: I will miss Thomas. He was really entertaining.
- 47:43Speaker 1: He was fondering.
- 47:44Speaker 2: He would talk about a reckless player, that guy willing
- 47:49Speaker 2: to do whatever it takes.
- 47:50Speaker 1: So yeah, he could have made it to the end.
- 47:52Speaker 1: He was real smart, but then he was also The
- 47:55Speaker 1: blindside was just brilliant. They were those three guys Chef
- 48:00Speaker 1: is it shhen, Joe and Thomas completely underestimated. I mean
- 48:08Speaker 1: I think one of them maybe was like, maybe they
- 48:09Speaker 1: have an idol? How did y'all feel when they were
- 48:12Speaker 1: looking through that bag?
- 48:14Speaker 3: I just.
- 48:18Speaker 4: No, it wasn't show was not involved with it was
- 48:21Speaker 4: Shaheen the illegal bag, Sir.
- 48:24Speaker 2: It was Thomas and Shaheen, right, Yes, that was when
- 48:26Speaker 2: I just step.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Like the meal in that moment. Watching that, I was like,
- 48:30Speaker 1: oh my god, it was like watching a movie where
- 48:32Speaker 1: it's like can you diffuse a bomb? It's like her
- 48:37Speaker 1: face was and she can't even say, like, maybe we
- 48:42Speaker 1: shouldn't do that, you guys, because it'll target on her.
- 48:45Speaker 1: I know.
- 48:46Speaker 4: That was also right after they had made Kyle and
- 48:50Speaker 4: her had made their plan, so I was like, I
- 48:52Speaker 4: don't even know if they find it, like if she
- 48:55Speaker 4: can get to Kyle to be like plan B fast.
- 48:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't do they always search each other's stuff.
- 49:02Speaker 2: I think that that shouldn't be allowed. I think that's
- 49:05Speaker 2: that is a real breach of I don't know.
- 49:08Speaker 1: That's why they keep their idols. That's where they keep
- 49:10Speaker 1: their idols in their panties.
- 49:12Speaker 3: Wow.
- 49:14Speaker 4: I do like it only because if you I mean
- 49:18Speaker 4: I personally wouldn't do it, but like it is entertaining.
- 49:23Speaker 2: You just have to you really have to, Like I mean,
- 49:28Speaker 2: you have to trust people to leave your bag there.
- 49:30Speaker 4: It reminds me of like back in the day when
- 49:34Speaker 4: people would have like their laptops and phones just available
- 49:38Speaker 4: without a security code, and everybody. If you caught someone
- 49:41Speaker 4: with their Facebook page open, they'd be like, yeah, I'm.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Taking it is it is part of it. It does
- 49:54Speaker 1: happen probably every other season, like not not not always
- 49:59Speaker 1: is someone searching someone the bag, but it does happen.
- 50:01Speaker 1: And he was you should have your idol in your
- 50:04Speaker 1: socket all times, or on your in your pants or
- 50:07Speaker 1: something like. You should be very smart. Some people hide
- 50:09Speaker 1: it in the desert, they hide it, or sorry, hide
- 50:11Speaker 1: it in the in the jungle and put a rock
- 50:14Speaker 1: on top of it. You know.
- 50:15Speaker 3: I've seen that.
- 50:16Speaker 1: Sometimes people don't bring it to tribal council because they're
- 50:20Speaker 1: so sure they're not going to be in trouble and
- 50:22Speaker 1: they're they're idols still back at camp, and then they
- 50:25Speaker 1: get there and they're like, oh shit, I think it's me.
- 50:27Speaker 1: And then they get voted off. Like the worst thing
- 50:28Speaker 1: you can do in Survivor is get voted off with
- 50:31Speaker 1: an idol in your pocket, they say.
- 50:35Speaker 2: And Tom, that would stick with you. Didn't Thomas have
- 50:38Speaker 2: something that he didn't.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Use, something I had had an advantage of some kind.
- 50:41Speaker 1: What did you have an extra vote maybe or block
- 50:43Speaker 1: a vote. Yeah, whatever the case, those guys are too
- 50:46Speaker 1: cocky and that when they watched what happened, the look
- 50:51Speaker 1: on their faces was priceless. And I love Camille's look.
- 50:55Speaker 1: I want her to win. She's my number one. I
- 50:58Speaker 1: think she is so I think she's so smart. I
- 51:01Speaker 1: think she's so good and so sincere. And I think
- 51:05Speaker 1: that if they can pull this off, they have a
- 51:08Speaker 1: strong block.
- 51:10Speaker 4: I'm kind of her or Kyle, I like that, although
- 51:15Speaker 4: he's going to probably reveal.
- 51:18Speaker 3: So this is my other question.
- 51:20Speaker 4: When they are hiding an identity from home, like he's
- 51:23Speaker 4: an attorney, do they do they keep that or do
- 51:27Speaker 4: they at some point use that as I trust you enough,
- 51:31Speaker 4: I'm going to tell you this information and it always backfires.
- 51:35Speaker 1: Yeah, usually you're absolutely right. They usually reveal it, but
- 51:39Speaker 1: sometimes they hold on to reveal it at the end
- 51:42Speaker 1: for a big aha moment. But like last season, the
- 51:45Speaker 1: aha moment was a real dud for one of the players.
- 51:47Speaker 1: So she was like telling people she was forty six
- 51:50Speaker 1: when she was really fifty eight or something like that.
- 51:52Speaker 1: And so then when it got to the jury, because
- 51:55Speaker 1: what happens is as they're voting people off, those are
- 51:57Speaker 1: the people who are going to vote for you to
- 51:59Speaker 1: win at the end. So she goes to the jury
- 52:02Speaker 1: and she's like, I want everyone to know that I
- 52:05Speaker 1: am not forty eight. I am fifty seven. And people
- 52:09Speaker 1: are like, great, but anyway, we're not voting for you
- 52:10Speaker 1: at all. We really want this.
- 52:12Speaker 2: Why does it matter, That's what I was going to say.
- 52:14Speaker 2: Does it even? Why would you even have to reveal
- 52:16Speaker 2: these things of your and your person?
- 52:18Speaker 1: The better reveal is this. When they get to the end,
- 52:20Speaker 1: they're like, I know, I told you all that I
- 52:22Speaker 1: was a lawyer, but really I'm a New York firefighter.
- 52:24Speaker 1: And people are like, get it.
- 52:28Speaker 3: You deserve that, right, I Seeason last season.
- 52:32Speaker 1: I mean it just I've seen it happen. Oh yeah,
- 52:34Speaker 1: k yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, I just see it happen.
- 52:37Speaker 1: It's just it's just currency. Your career is currency. It's
- 52:42Speaker 1: like Amy, for example. We you know, I wouldn't tell
- 52:46Speaker 1: anyone I was an actor because they would use it
- 52:48Speaker 1: against me. They'd be like, she's acting right now, but
- 52:51Speaker 1: literally they know just a comedic only actor.
- 52:54Speaker 2: So and they'd be like that's so weird because you're
- 52:58Speaker 2: not funny at all.
- 52:59Speaker 1: Yeah. I'd be like time not and then I'd get
- 53:01Speaker 1: to the reunion. I get to the end and I'd
- 53:03Speaker 1: be like, guess what everywhere, Yeah, shicked.
- 53:05Speaker 2: Buck, you're just slaying at the reunion. You're like tribal.
- 53:12Speaker 3: Account traders too, yeah, UK traders.
- 53:15Speaker 4: You don't know anything about anybody. So people are lying
- 53:19Speaker 4: left and right, and I'll show you one.
- 53:21Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're right espec because they're not even famous,
- 53:24Speaker 1: so they just.
- 53:25Speaker 2: I would go on these shows and I'd be like,
- 53:27Speaker 2: I'm a model, telling everybody that I'm a model.
- 53:34Speaker 3: I'm a social media influencer and model.
- 53:36Speaker 1: Why I wouldn't salesman.
- 53:41Speaker 2: I would say, I'm a straight up like runway model
- 53:44Speaker 2: and I only work in like Milan in Rome and me.
- 53:46Speaker 1: You're gorgeous. We believe you.
- 53:49Speaker 3: Yes, what is your problem?
- 53:51Speaker 1: Amy? You? You are beautiful, babu. I'm I want to
- 53:58Speaker 1: say something that you have hurdles, welcome in. I want
- 54:05Speaker 1: to say something that's terrifying me, that that occurred to me.
- 54:08Speaker 1: I think that that they're gonna vote Joe out. That's
- 54:11Speaker 1: the sacrificial lamb for the evil situation. He's gone. He
- 54:15Speaker 1: is gone. I bet you in the next two episodes
- 54:17Speaker 1: or so. Okay, Wow, they don't want to cut her. Yeah,
- 54:23Speaker 1: they don't want to cut her because they would feel
- 54:24Speaker 1: too on the spot. But they're gonna cut him and
- 54:27Speaker 1: he will he soon whenever they can. Joe is gone
- 54:32Speaker 1: because every person that tried on that beach secretly knows
- 54:37Speaker 1: that her and him are gonna win if they get
- 54:39Speaker 1: to the end, and Joe being like, if it was
- 54:42Speaker 1: my daughter, I'd want everyone to do the same, and
- 54:45Speaker 1: everyone on that everyone on that beach is like, give
- 54:48Speaker 1: him a million dollars or get him the fuck out
- 54:50Speaker 1: of here. I got to get him out of here.
- 54:56Speaker 1: Got to get him out of here. I understand why
- 54:57Speaker 1: he should win, and that's exactly why he's out interests.
- 55:03Speaker 2: Okay, they've been marked. I will say that in the
- 55:06Speaker 2: La the Vula tribe at the council, when Jeff really
- 55:11Speaker 2: likes to dig deep, he really does, and it realized
- 55:14Speaker 2: how much he likes to get you know, you know,
- 55:16Speaker 2: really in there, and he's like, what have you learned
- 55:19Speaker 2: about your life and the afterlife and who you were
- 55:22Speaker 2: in your past lives? And they're like, thanks, Jeff, I
- 55:25Speaker 2: was hoping you'd ask that. Actually, during the immunity challenge,
- 55:29Speaker 2: I realized that I was a shepherd in Ireland in
- 55:33Speaker 2: eighteen hundreds, and so I feel humble and this one's
- 55:39Speaker 2: for the sheep, you know. Like, but Kyle was really
- 55:43Speaker 2: sweet how He's like, I've really learned essentially you was saying,
- 55:45Speaker 2: I've learned humility, I think is what he was trying
- 55:47Speaker 2: to say, and that he's going to really treat people
- 55:50Speaker 2: that way. He's going to take that into his career
- 55:52Speaker 2: and stuff like that is fake career because he's lined everybody.
- 55:57Speaker 2: And then Camilla had a beautiful moment where she was saying,
- 56:00Speaker 2: you know, I've learned that I underestimate myself. You know, people,
- 56:03Speaker 2: you know, you worry about other people underestimating you, and
- 56:06Speaker 2: I have. But really at the end of the day,
- 56:07Speaker 2: it's me that I'm underestimating. And she's crying and you know,
- 56:11Speaker 2: everyone's like, shit, we were gonna vote for her, you know,
- 56:15Speaker 2: And so that just there were so many wonderful moments
- 56:18Speaker 2: and I guess obviously Survivor is that it's very introspective
- 56:22Speaker 2: about who you are in this game and who you
- 56:24Speaker 2: who are your becoming and you know, tackling your fears
- 56:28Speaker 2: and challenges and I'm getting that vibe that is.
- 56:31Speaker 1: Part of it. How how far can you push yourself?
- 56:35Speaker 1: I wouldn't make it off the plane. I got to
- 56:37Speaker 1: have a bathroom and a dinner every day. I don't
- 56:41Speaker 1: like this. I wouldn't do it. I don't want it
- 56:43Speaker 1: a million dollars. I'd never win it. I don't jump
- 56:46Speaker 1: in the water from a tall, tall.
- 56:48Speaker 2: Tree while I'm like Emily, she is dressed it. Yeah, Emily,
- 56:55Speaker 2: you would kill it.
- 56:57Speaker 1: Emily, why don't you apply?
- 56:58Speaker 2: You really should apply?
- 56:59Speaker 3: I don't you thought about it?
- 57:01Speaker 2: Fit your fit physically, mentally and emotionally, and you smell great.
- 57:06Speaker 3: Good, thank you, Luey.
- 57:10Speaker 4: I don't know enough about the game, but that might
- 57:12Speaker 4: be my angle. If I apply, I'd be like, look,
- 57:16Speaker 4: hey man, New Fans season forty eight.
- 57:18Speaker 2: Yeah, but a bad idea.
- 57:21Speaker 1: Wait, you both have never watched it ever?
- 57:23Speaker 2: No, I did Hatch and Elizabeth Hasselback. That's the only season.
- 57:27Speaker 4: I'm the very first one, and I watched a couple
- 57:31Speaker 4: others because my nephew loves it and he's he's been
- 57:34Speaker 4: watching shut Out Dylan like Bianka.
- 57:38Speaker 3: He's been watching since he was eight and he's now eleven.
- 57:41Speaker 3: He's very excited that we're recapping.
- 57:47Speaker 1: I can't tell you how exciting it was when it
- 57:49Speaker 1: came out during pandemic. But also this was a pandemic
- 57:52Speaker 1: rewatch for me. I So basically my journey with Survivor
- 57:55Speaker 1: is I've watched it and I haven't watched it when
- 57:57Speaker 1: when it originally came out. Amy can tell you when
- 58:00Speaker 1: I was in my twenties and thirties in Detroit, I
- 58:04Speaker 1: didn't watch TV at home because I was always out.
- 58:07Speaker 1: I was doing a million jobs. I was always out, Yeah,
- 58:10Speaker 1: and there was no DVR. So but but like one
- 58:15Speaker 1: time we watched it with Sean Hanlin and and all
- 58:18Speaker 1: of us got together. We would we would meet watch
- 58:20Speaker 1: it over at like Margaret Edwardowski's house. And then Sean
- 58:24Speaker 1: had the VHS of the of the finale and he
- 58:28Speaker 1: came to my house with the vhs. Oh my god.
- 58:31Speaker 1: He pulls it out and it's all broken up. It's
- 58:34Speaker 1: all broken, and he's like, I ran over it with
- 58:37Speaker 1: my car. I'm like what, Like everyone's coming over? How
- 58:40Speaker 1: could I tell you? He's like, I ran over it
- 58:42Speaker 1: when I show up to get cigarettes, and I was like,
- 58:44Speaker 1: my god. And then all of a sudden, he's like
- 58:46Speaker 1: psych and he put oh my god, he had broken
- 58:49Speaker 1: up a different tape, like a useless VHS.
- 58:53Speaker 2: I was like, what would it have been doing in
- 58:54Speaker 2: the driveway?
- 58:56Speaker 1: He said it like fell out of his pocket.
- 58:57Speaker 2: He ran it over his pocket and then tire VHS too.
- 59:02Speaker 1: I was.
- 59:04Speaker 2: Just walking around with a VHS, just not even a
- 59:06Speaker 2: beta which is smaller, you know. All right, well, we
- 59:11Speaker 2: do need to wrap this up. So is there anything
- 59:13Speaker 2: else that you guys want to discuss about episodes four
- 59:16Speaker 2: and five. I mean, this was amazing.
- 59:20Speaker 1: I think we For me, we left it all on
- 59:21Speaker 1: the table. I just want to say how amazing Camilla was.
- 59:24Speaker 1: And I think that this new foursome is great. I
- 59:27Speaker 1: think that Joe's screwed. That's about it for me. Lemons
- 59:31Speaker 1: are delicious.
- 59:34Speaker 3: Emily, Yeah, I think that I think we hit it.
- 59:36Speaker 3: I had.
- 59:36Speaker 4: I'm getting all well, yeah, no, these were all my
- 59:39Speaker 4: questions I had for Jamie.
- 59:41Speaker 3: I needed to know strategy stuff.
- 59:42Speaker 2: Yeah, because you're getting ready to apply now because it's open,
- 59:47Speaker 2: the windows open. Jeff is probably he's star talking about you.
- 59:53Speaker 2: With this new merging of these tribes, I mean I
- 59:55Speaker 2: should say the the re uh structuring of these tribes.
- 59:59Speaker 2: Do you have a favorite Vula Loggi or Siva.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Siva, you're saying, do we have a favorite tribe or
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: a favorite person, because I already.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Said favorite tribe. I think I'm gonna go with Vuula.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: How about you.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: I got to look at your pictures.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: I love Kyle Joe, Camilla, Shaheen. You like Loggi, Charity, Star, David, Eva, Mary.
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: I just I just was rooting for them until.
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: The kind of talking about like we the block, and
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: so then I switched.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: I switched alliances and now I'm Team Green. I think
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: it is.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: I'm with shouts out to the following people and the
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: other two tribes who I want to win, Star and
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Mitch that Mitch.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: You want Star to win.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: I like Star and I like Mitch. I like Star
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: and I don't like how they were mean to her
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: at first. I think that people were treating her poorly.
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: And Star Star was isolating herself.
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: She was just going out. It was she was making
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: it really hard to make it connection. I think because
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: she was always going out in the woods.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: She's been hurt, Emily hurt.
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: We got to leave that ship. On the airplane she changed.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: I want to win or Star and Mitch or my
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: two shoutouts on the other two teams.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: I like the new and improved Star. I like the
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: new improved Star. I'm really invested in her journey.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: My favorite would probably be like Mary and of course Joe.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: I did you like Camilla?
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: Hm?
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: I like Chrissy too. Man, she's like those Illinois firefighter legs.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: Man like get it?
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Yeah, she's awesome. Well, everybody, please sign up for Drama Darling.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: You can go to patreon dot com slash drama Darling
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: so you can get all the other recaps that we do.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: And this Friday you need to check out on Hulu tomorrow.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: Oh my god, tomorrow. Janie's is in this new amazing
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: show called mid Century Modern.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: Yes, she had.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: The premiere last night on the red carpet Sahetty images.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: Looked fabulous, Jamie tell us, who's in it with you?
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: Okay, okay, there too, get to see this picture.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: Look how cute you look? Amazing.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: The show stars Nathan Lane, who I absolutely have been
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: a huge fan for my life, Nathan Lee, who is
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: absolutely fantastic, and Matt Boehmer, who is hilarious and handsome.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: I'm a great cabin and I have to say Nathan
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: Lee Graham is the other And then Linda Lavin played
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Nathan Lane's mom and she was absolutely hilarious and now
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: she has passed away. So it's very, very bittersweet to
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: watch the show. But I want to tell y'all, they
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: showed the first two episodes at the premiere. The writing
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: is so good. This show is going to save the sitcom.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: But we need watchers. We need people to watch it
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: on Hulu. We need them to thumbs up it. Tell
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: your friends, because it's hard to get a show off
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: the ground these days. And this is from the creators
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: of Will and Grace, directed by James Burrows, who is the.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: Oh oh my gosh, I didn't realize that. Yeah, he's
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: the first time you've worked with him.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: Either, No, it's not, and I hope it's not the
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: last because he is. Watching him was like watching a
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: master class the way he he knows everything to do,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: and he would give people the slightest adjudgment and make
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: adjustment and make the scene better. So it's going to
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: be a great show. I'm really hope it it's the
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: second season because if it does. I am a Lady
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: in the Town and as I've been on many TV shows,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Ladies in the Town live in the town and they
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: pop around the town, right, And that's important because I
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: live there and it's Palm Springs. It's a small town.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: Oh girl, might get back on that show if there's
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: another season.
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: So yes, watch it on all your devices.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: And say awesome, Jamie is Jamie Moyer.
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: Stream it on every device so it gets more hits.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: Yeah, start out the pilot and watch the first few.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: I love you, guys, Thank you so much for listening.
