- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, what's going on?
- 0:00Speaker 2: It's Romeo, and we talked about the wild situations, maybe
- 0:04Speaker 2: some of the awkward, crazy situations you've been in, and
- 0:07Speaker 2: your co-workers, man. Co-workers can be the worst of the best.
- 0:11Speaker 3: So I was looking at this story. This woman, 27-year
- 0:13Speaker 3: age difference. She's 25. They met when she was 19,
- 0:16Speaker 3: and now he's 53. So what is that? 27 years?
- 0:26Speaker 3: Is that right?
- 0:27Speaker 4: 25?
- 0:27Speaker 1: No, this doesn't make sense. Hold on.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Let me see this real quick. Oh, 27 years younger
- 0:34Speaker 3: than her partner.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Okay, yeah.
- 0:36Speaker 2: So she's 25, he's 53, and they're married.
- 0:41Speaker 3: 27-year age gap. Is that acceptable?
- 0:43Speaker 1: I'm ready. 4, 2, 5, 4, 7, 7.
- 0:44Speaker 3: What do you guys think?
- 0:48Speaker 2: What is an acceptable age gap for a relationship? Hey, Rome,
- 0:52Speaker 2: I married a sexy woman 10 years older than me,
- 0:55Speaker 2: living my best life.
- 0:57Speaker 3: 10 years? 10 years is probably pretty acceptable, right? I mean,
- 1:04Speaker 3: I don't think we could argue over a decade.
- 1:07Speaker 2: When you're 50, when she's 60, yeah, I think 10.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Years is all right.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Hey, Rome, yeah, girls have a formula to see if
- 1:16Speaker 2: the guy is too old for them. They take the
- 1:18Speaker 2: guy's age, divide it by his income, and if it
- 1:21Speaker 2: equals sugar daddy, then they'll do it.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Nice.
- 1:25Speaker 2: I was reading this story out of Utah. Apparently, this woman,
- 1:29Speaker 2: she's 25. She met her 53-year-old husband when she was
- 1:32Speaker 2: a teenager and is younger than his eldest daughter and
- 1:36Speaker 2: says age is just a number as they try for
- 1:38Speaker 2: a baby. Is age just a number or is there
- 1:41Speaker 2: an unacceptable age gap? 27 years seems like.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know about that. Rd425477. Hey, Romeo, age
- 1:51Speaker 3: is just a number, Rome.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I was 18.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I gave up the goods to a 45-year-old married woman.
- 1:56Speaker 2: After we were done, she went back home to her
- 1:58Speaker 2: husband and kids. Well, that's just having sex with an
- 2:03Speaker 2: older woman. It's not actually being in a relationship, okay? Hey, Rome,
- 2:09Speaker 2: me and my husband have a huge age gap.
- 2:12Speaker 3: He's 62, and I'm 24. Woo!
- 2:16Speaker 1: What is that?
- 2:17Speaker 2: 38 years?
- 2:18Speaker 3: Did I do the math right? 38 year age gap.
- 2:23Speaker 2: How do you guys, my husband, have a huge age gap?
- 2:28Speaker 2: He's 62. So you married a guy that's 38 years
- 2:32Speaker 2: older than you.
- 2:34Speaker 3: How exactly does that work? That's too big of a gap.
- 2:38Speaker 3: How can you possibly get along?
- 2:41Speaker 2: Hey, Rome, I think if you never had kids in
- 2:43Speaker 2: your life, there's really no age gap. But if you
- 2:45Speaker 2: have kids older or as old as your partner, then
- 2:48Speaker 2: that doesn't look good. Looking good and actually having a
- 2:51Speaker 2: relationship that works when there's such a big difference in age.
- 2:56Speaker 3: I mean, look at that last chick. She's 24.
- 2:59Speaker 2: He was 62. I mean, he's having dinner at 430.
- 3:03Speaker 2: She's eating at eight. How do they even see each other?
- 3:07Speaker 2: Is she going to bed at 730 with him? And
- 3:09Speaker 2: what's going on with that?
- 3:11Speaker 3: That might be too big of an age gap. R-8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 3:16Speaker 3: This story I read, it was a 27-year-old age gap
- 3:20Speaker 3: between the woman and the man. Woman just text, there's
- 3:23Speaker 3: a 38-year-old age gap.
- 3:25Speaker 2: He's 62, she's 24. You guys don't think that age
- 3:28Speaker 2: gap is just... you know, unacceptable?
- 3:31Speaker 3: What's going on?
- 3:32Speaker 5: Romy Rome. The answer is this. Hold on, I'm trying
- 3:35Speaker 5: to figure it out.
- 3:36Speaker 4: Romy Rome, it's called Viagra.
- 3:43Speaker 3: That's what you're saying.
- 3:44Speaker 2: That 60-year-old man, he got enough Viagra to keep it going.
- 3:48Speaker 4: Look, look, look.
- 3:49Speaker 5: Hey, Rome, I'm 50 years old, and my baby mama,
- 3:52Speaker 5: I got her about 12 years, dog.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Look, and then going to bed early part, and now
- 3:56Speaker 3: I'm watching.
- 3:56Speaker 4: I'm thinking, why not open that, too?
- 4:00Speaker 3: Hey, we love you, Romeo. All right, man.
- 4:05Speaker 2: He said, I'm 50 years old, Viagra, and I sleep
- 4:10Speaker 2: with one eye open.
- 4:11Speaker 3: All right, 8-4-2-5-4-7-7. Like I said, what do you got?
- 4:19Speaker 2: What do you got? Is there an unacceptable age gap?
- 4:23Speaker 2: The woman, that text that said her husband was 62
- 4:25Speaker 2: years old. And that she's 24. Now, here's the bigger question.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Does it make any sense in this day and age,
- 4:37Speaker 2: in 2020? Now, you might have seen that.
- 4:41Speaker 1: 30 years ago.
- 4:42Speaker 2: You got an old cowboy and a young girl who's
- 4:45Speaker 2: trying to settle down. But what do you think about
- 4:49Speaker 2: this 24-year-old millennial Gen Z or whatever?
- 4:53Speaker 3: She found a 62-year-old dude.
- 4:57Speaker 2: I mean, she got daddy issues? Or he got a
- 5:00Speaker 2: bank account, right? Talk about this age gap, right? Age
- 5:05Speaker 2: is just a number, right? No, it's not just a number.
- 5:07Speaker 2: There's got to be a gap, an age gap in
- 5:09Speaker 2: a relationship that just, how does it work, right? Somebody
- 5:12Speaker 2: texted that her husband's 62 and she is 24. I'm
- 5:18Speaker 2: just trying to figure out how does that work? How
- 5:20Speaker 2: do you even communicate with each other at that point?
- 5:23Speaker 2: Netflix and chill? I mean, it's Netflix, and he'll fall
- 5:26Speaker 2: asleep by four. All right, the older they are, the
- 5:30Speaker 2: quicker they die. Life insurance is looking pretty good. I
- 5:32Speaker 2: might not argue with that. Hey, Rome, I bet Viagra
- 5:36Speaker 2: is a big factor in their relationship.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Okay.
- 5:42Speaker 3: One day we'll have to have a show about Viagra
- 5:44Speaker 3: and find out how it really works. Good morning, now.
- 5:46Speaker 3: What's going on?
- 5:47Speaker 5: Hey, nothing wrong with the care in your future.
- 5:50Speaker 2: And that guy that just called.
- 5:53Speaker 5: I think he's, what, 51 or 52? Yeah, he's 50,
- 5:55Speaker 5: and she's like... And you're going.
- 5:57Speaker 2: To take Viagra already? My husband's 51, and.
- 6:05Speaker 4: He wants it more than I do.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Some people should teach that to themselves. What age should
- 6:15Speaker 3: they start taking Viagra, then?
- 6:17Speaker 2: What age is it?
- 6:18Speaker 4: I don't know. My husband ain't never taken it.
- 6:21Speaker 1: How old's your husband?
- 6:22Speaker 2: 51. Oh, okay.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Okay, that means you must still get him excited.
- 6:26Speaker 5: Okay.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I know some women that would take offense to that
- 6:35Speaker 2: if their husbands had to.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Take a Viagra. They would feel like they're not attracted
- 6:39Speaker 3: to them anymore.
- 6:41Speaker 5: He's been trying to get it all week.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Well, we'll give him some.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I'm like the dog in heat.
- 6:46Speaker 4: I let him sniff it and it ran away.
- 6:49Speaker 3: What is wrong with you? It's Romeo.
- 6:54Speaker 2: When it comes to an age gap in relationships, right,
- 6:56Speaker 2: what's acceptable, what's not?
- 6:58Speaker 5: Good morning, hon.
- 6:59Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 7:01Speaker 3: Hello, Romy.
- 7:01Speaker 4: Quit making fun of a 62-year-old.
- 7:04Speaker 2: You ain't got it going on.
- 7:06Speaker 5: Wait till you're that age.
- 7:08Speaker 3: No, I was saying him, not women.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Women at 62, don't you guys get a little more
- 7:14Speaker 2: sexual as.
- 7:15Speaker 3: You get older? Old men can't get it up.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Yes, they do.
- 7:19Speaker 5: Yes, a man can get it up. Yeah, they do
- 7:21Speaker 5: get it up, you know.
- 7:22Speaker 3: All right, thanks for calling.
- 7:24Speaker 5: Yes, they do.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Oh, hot.
- 7:26Speaker 3: What's going on?
- 7:29Speaker 4: Confucius said, men with one foot engraved, one foot on.
- 7:34Speaker 2: A banana peel, make young women very happy financially.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Yeah, how, what's going on?
- 7:46Speaker 5: Big Rome.
- 7:47Speaker 3: This is big boy.
- 7:49Speaker 2: What's going on, big boy? Man, 40 years is a lot, bro.
- 7:52Speaker 3: 40 years is a big age gap. That is huge.
- 7:56Speaker 3: That lady that texted you about, you know, all that.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, that's great.
- 8:01Speaker 3: But a 24-year-old ain't going to have that kind of
- 8:03Speaker 3: independence yet.
- 8:04Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying?
- 8:06Speaker 3: Oh, about a 24-year-old, yeah.
- 8:09Speaker 2: That didn't even.
- 8:09Speaker 4: Occur to me.
- 8:10Speaker 5: You're right.
- 8:10Speaker 3: With that bank account, bro.
- 8:12Speaker 2: That guy's got to have some nice jet or something, man.
- 8:16Speaker 3: That's a big gap, bro.
- 8:20Speaker 2: I don't care how you look at it, man. Yeah,
- 8:22Speaker 2: she's a what? She's a Gen Z or a Millette.
- 8:24Speaker 2: She's a Gen Z, right? Ain't no Gen Z got
- 8:26Speaker 2: that kind of cash at 24.
- 8:27Speaker 3: That dude's on social security already, bro.
- 8:32Speaker 2: I don't know if I've ever told you guys this story.
- 8:35Speaker 2: I may have told you it when it happened a
- 8:38Speaker 2: couple of years ago. I was up north visiting my mom,
- 8:43Speaker 2: and I went for a run. It was probably about
- 8:46Speaker 2: 6 a.m. 6 a.m. I think I went for a run.
- 8:50Speaker 2: And I'm running by this strip mall, and there's this bum.
- 8:56Speaker 2: I see this guy getting out of his Tesla, yelling
- 9:01Speaker 2: at this homeless dude who was sitting in front of
- 9:06Speaker 2: his shop. Now, mind you, it's 6 a.m.
- 9:08Speaker 1: In the morning, okay? Nothing's open.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Nothing opens until it was probably a Saturday morning.
- 9:16Speaker 1: It might have even been a Sunday morning. No, maybe
- 9:18Speaker 1: it was a Saturday morning.
- 9:19Speaker 2: So at what time is everything open? 9, 10 on
- 9:22Speaker 2: a Saturday, right? And this guy's yelling at this homeless guy.
- 9:29Speaker 2: And to get out, get out, get out. Well, the
- 9:31Speaker 2: homeless guy is trying to pick up a stuff and roll, right?
- 9:34Speaker 2: This guy pulls out a. 38 on him. How do
- 9:36Speaker 2: I know what his. 38 was? Because when I saw
- 9:38Speaker 2: it and I saw him pull out the gun, I
- 9:40Speaker 2: ran over. I was running on the street in front
- 9:44Speaker 2: of the, and I stopped and said, what in the
- 9:45Speaker 2: hell are you doing? And he pointed the gun at me.
- 9:49Speaker 2: I didn't really think he was going to shoot me,
- 9:51Speaker 2: but when somebody points a gun at you, hey, it's scary, right?
- 9:56Speaker 2: But you really believe some.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Jackass in a Tesla is going to shoot somebody? I mean,
- 9:59Speaker 1: come on.
- 9:59Speaker 2: This idiot was just, he was just being an a-hole.
- 10:02Speaker 2: It was an awkward and a scary situation. So I
- 10:05Speaker 2: grabbed my phone to call the cops. And he jumps
- 10:09Speaker 2: in his car and takes off. But basically, the guy
- 10:12Speaker 2: was the shop owner. And he didn't want this homeless
- 10:14Speaker 2: guy in front of the shop. But instead of calmly
- 10:17Speaker 2: asking the dude to leave, he pulls out a gun.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Now, it was crazy.
- 10:21Speaker 3: It was awkward.
- 10:22Speaker 2: But, you know, it all worked out for the best,
- 10:25Speaker 2: I guess. I mean, nobody got shot. This idiot rolled off,
- 10:29Speaker 2: you know, like a little bee in his Tesla. But
- 10:32Speaker 2: he was a man because he had a gun. Alrighty, 4, 2, 5, 4, 7,
- 10:36Speaker 2: let's talk about the craziest situations you've ever been in.
- 10:38Speaker 2: The most awkward situations, crazy situations.
- 10:41Speaker 1: How'd you handle it? What happened?
- 10:44Speaker 2: Have you ever been in a place when it was
- 10:45Speaker 2: being robbed? I have a friend that's been in a
- 10:47Speaker 2: place when it was being robbed. She said that was scary.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Already 4254, 7 to 7. Talk about these crazy situations,
- 10:55Speaker 2: these awkward situations you've ever been involved in.
- 10:57Speaker 1: I have quite a few of them. I have a
- 11:01Speaker 1: couple of real crazy ones, actually, and some awkward ones.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Gosh, yeah. I've been in a lot of crazy situations
- 11:10Speaker 2: in my life.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Now that I think about it. Already 4254, 7 to 7.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Hey, Romeum. One time me and the wife were out
- 11:19Speaker 2: to dinner and my buddy's wife walks into the restaurant
- 11:24Speaker 2: we're sitting at with another dude. I guess she was
- 11:28Speaker 2: cheating on him. She looked at me. I looked at her.
- 11:32Speaker 2: She just sat down and never made eye contact again. Well,
- 11:38Speaker 2: what did you do? Um, What did you do? How
- 11:44Speaker 2: did you handle it? Did you tell your friend? Did
- 11:47Speaker 2: you walk over and say hi?
- 11:48Speaker 1: I mean, what happened? All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Yo, Rome, craziest situation I've been in, Romeo, and I'm
- 11:56Speaker 2: still in it, married with my cheating wife.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Well, at least you know. I mean, why are you
- 12:02Speaker 1: staying around if you don't like it?
- 12:03Speaker 2: All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7. I was in an awkward situation
- 12:09Speaker 2: when I first moved to Bakersfield.
- 12:12Speaker 1: This was kind of funny.
- 12:13Speaker 2: I broke up with the chick I was dating because
- 12:15Speaker 2: we lived in different towns, right? And I moved to Bakersfield.
- 12:19Speaker 2: I broke up with her because we weren't going to
- 12:20Speaker 2: live in the same town. And I went to a
- 12:24Speaker 2: show in L.A. with another girl and another friend of mine.
- 12:28Speaker 2: And she had found out I was going to that
- 12:31Speaker 2: show through the record label who gave me the money
- 12:33Speaker 2: or gave me the money, gave me the tickets. Right.
- 12:36Speaker 2: So she showed up like I don't even know why
- 12:38Speaker 2: she showed up. Like it was awkward, though. Luckily, the
- 12:42Speaker 2: chick I was with was cool.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Hey, good morning, Romeo. Hey, I was at a gas
- 12:46Speaker 1: station getting.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Gas, and I had my music on still in my car.
- 12:51Speaker 2: The old man yelled at me and told me to
- 12:53Speaker 2: turn that off and swung at me twice with a
- 12:57Speaker 2: crowbar when I told him it's a free country and
- 13:02Speaker 2: I can have my music on if I want to. Luckily,
- 13:05Speaker 2: I didn't get hit, though. Like I said, man, you
- 13:10Speaker 2: get in these crazy, awkward situations, man. What happened?
- 13:13Speaker 1: Look, they don't always have to be dangerous. They could
- 13:17Speaker 1: be funny.
- 13:17Speaker 2: They could be, you know, you could have got caught
- 13:20Speaker 2: with a girl and her dad walked in. That happened
- 13:22Speaker 2: to me once when I was in high school. The
- 13:25Speaker 2: football coach, I was dating the football coach's daughter, and
- 13:29Speaker 2: he was my football coach.
- 13:30Speaker 1: And I was just a kid, and I'm sitting there
- 13:33Speaker 1: on the couch with her.
- 13:33Speaker 2: He walks in.
- 13:35Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, hell, what's going on here?
- 13:37Speaker 1: And he was cool. What's up? What's up, bro?
- 13:41Speaker 5: Nothing. All right.
- 13:44Speaker 2: But, you know, you get a little scared sometimes. I
- 13:47Speaker 2: can tell you all kinds of crazy situations. I remember
- 13:49Speaker 2: when I was a kid, you know, I grew up
- 13:52Speaker 2: in Humboldt County on the Indian Reservation. Well, back in
- 13:54Speaker 2: the day, and they still do, but they grew a
- 13:56Speaker 2: lot of weed back then.
- 13:58Speaker 1: So I'm with my uncle. He's going to check on
- 14:00Speaker 1: his plants.
- 14:01Speaker 2: And here comes camp flying over, coming in, coming in hard,
- 14:06Speaker 2: you know, SWAT style. We got to roll. And so
- 14:09Speaker 2: now we're just running down a hill trying to get
- 14:12Speaker 2: away from camp.
- 14:13Speaker 1: We got away, but tried to get away from camp.
- 14:18Speaker 2: It was even funnier is when I lived on the res,
- 14:22Speaker 2: camp used to, you know, they would, camp is the
- 14:26Speaker 2: government agency that would come in, and rip up all
- 14:30Speaker 2: the pot plants, rip up all the farms. And they
- 14:34Speaker 2: would build, they would take it right down to the
- 14:37Speaker 2: bottom of the road. There was a clearing right by
- 14:38Speaker 2: the road to the dump. And they would just build
- 14:41Speaker 2: a pile, a pile probably as high as a two,
- 14:43Speaker 2: three-story building of weed.
- 14:46Speaker 1: And they'd light that bad boy up.
- 14:48Speaker 2: And me and my cousins, me and my friends, we'd
- 14:51Speaker 2: be sitting there on our bikes just watching a pile
- 14:53Speaker 2: of weed go up in smoke. We were probably 50
- 14:56Speaker 2: yards away.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Just chilling. I mean, crazy.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Situations we've been in. R-8-4-2-5-4-7-7. Good morning, Hal.
- 15:05Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 15:06Speaker 5: Hey, Romeo.
- 15:07Speaker 1: What up, man?
- 15:08Speaker 2: I'm hearing you talk about a crazy situation you've been in.
- 15:11Speaker 4: Yeah. And then you said somebody else said that they've
- 15:14Speaker 4: seen someone they know and they were cheating. Oh, yeah.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Guy said he saw his buddy's wife with another man
- 15:20Speaker 2: at a restaurant. Yeah, see, stuff like that, I don't know.
- 15:24Speaker 4: I'm like, you just mind your own business.
- 15:26Speaker 1: You don't be saying, oh, I've seen this and that.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Sure.
- 15:33Speaker 4: Maybe.
- 15:34Speaker 2: You might be right about that. I don't know what
- 15:35Speaker 2: he did. He didn't tell me what he did. He
- 15:37Speaker 2: just said it was awkward for him. Me?
- 15:38Speaker 1: I'm snitching.
- 15:39Speaker 3: I'm straight snitching like I'm under the lamp.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I'm taking pictures.
- 15:42Speaker 3: I'm sending video.
- 15:43Speaker 2: I'm snitching on everybody. I've told you that for decades.
- 16:01Speaker 2: If I catch you cheating, I don't even have to
- 16:03Speaker 2: know you. I just have to know you're cheating and
- 16:05Speaker 2: I'm snitching on you. All right.
- 16:07Speaker 4: All right.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Eight, four, two, five, four, seven to seven. What kind
- 16:10Speaker 2: of crazy situations you've been in? Have I ever caught
- 16:15Speaker 2: any of my buddies cheating on their old ladies?
- 16:19Speaker 1: I don't think I have or vice versa. I don't
- 16:22Speaker 1: think I've seen that. All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7. What do
- 16:25Speaker 1: you got?
- 16:26Speaker 2: All right, so crazy situations you've been in or, you know,
- 16:29Speaker 2: awkward situations you've been in. What do you got?
- 16:32Speaker 1: 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7.
- 16:33Speaker 2: I could tell you all kinds of stories. I remember
- 16:37Speaker 2: one time I was 13 years old. I had to
- 16:40Speaker 2: go to Tahoe for my aunt's wedding, and I had
- 16:44Speaker 2: to be back home before they were leaving. I had
- 16:50Speaker 2: to be back for something. Like, I think I was
- 16:51Speaker 2: playing football at the time. And I had to be
- 16:54Speaker 2: back for a game or something. And so I had
- 16:56Speaker 2: to take a Greyhound bus from Tahoe back to the Bay.
- 17:02Speaker 2: And about, I think about 30 minutes into the drive,
- 17:09Speaker 2: the lady sitting next to me started going into convulsions
- 17:13Speaker 2: and foaming at the mouth. And so what was supposed
- 17:17Speaker 2: to be a couple hour trip ended up, we had
- 17:20Speaker 2: to stop. We had to get medical attention for this
- 17:23Speaker 2: woman that was sitting next to me. It took, you know,
- 17:26Speaker 2: it was snowing. So it took forever for the ambulance
- 17:31Speaker 2: to get there. And it was creepy. Boy, I was
- 17:35Speaker 2: this 13-year-old kid. Never got on a bus again after that.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Never got on a bus again.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Crazy. All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7-7.
- 17:48Speaker 4: Uh, yeah.
- 17:49Speaker 1: So there's just a lot of, uh, we can put
- 17:50Speaker 1: in a lot of situations, right? What do you got?
- 17:53Speaker 2: Oh, I got another one. I just remembered, uh, when
- 17:56Speaker 2: I first got into radio first, my first radio job,
- 17:59Speaker 2: when I was in college, I used to have to
- 18:02Speaker 2: host a club, a nightclub. And I met the Bud
- 18:06Speaker 2: Light girl and I started seeing the Bud Light girl
- 18:10Speaker 2: and I was at her place. I didn't realize, uh,
- 18:12Speaker 2: Her place was, she had an apartment, but her apartment
- 18:16Speaker 2: was on the grounds of her father, her mom and
- 18:18Speaker 2: dad's compound.
- 18:21Speaker 1: It's huge.
- 18:23Speaker 2: And he was like a director for the FBI or something,
- 18:26Speaker 2: like regional director for the FBI. Yeah, that was interesting
- 18:30Speaker 2: meeting him, to say the least. He had all kinds of,
- 18:32Speaker 2: that was kind of, kind of awkward. He was cool after,
- 18:35Speaker 2: you know, he realized we were dating, but yeah, he
- 18:37Speaker 2: was just, it was, it was, it was awkward. All right.
- 18:40Speaker 5: All right.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Eight, four, two, five, four, seven, seven.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Like I said, man, what kind of crazy situations.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Have you been in? Apparently I'm the only one that's
- 18:47Speaker 1: been in them. Let's talk about it.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Let's talk about some of the crazy, some of the
- 18:50Speaker 2: awkward situations you've been in.
- 18:51Speaker 5: All right.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Eight, four, two, five, four, seven, seven.
- 18:54Speaker 4: Hey, Romeo.
- 18:54Speaker 2: When I was a teenager, I was having sex with
- 18:57Speaker 2: my girlfriend in my room and her mom came to
- 19:00Speaker 2: pick her up and I forgot to lock the door
- 19:02Speaker 2: because And her mom just walks in, freaks out, called
- 19:06Speaker 2: my mom.
- 19:07Speaker 1: My mom acted all surprised. All right.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Eight, four, two, five, four, seven to seven getting married.
- 19:18Speaker 2: That's the craziest situation you've ever.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Been in getting married.
- 19:22Speaker 2: You know, can I say, I got to tell you
- 19:24Speaker 2: a story about getting married, by the way.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I was sitting at, where was I at?
- 19:29Speaker 2: Last weekend, I was sitting at having breakfast with friends
- 19:33Speaker 2: of mine in, I think it was in Atascadero.
- 19:36Speaker 1: I think it might've been where I was, if I
- 19:38Speaker 1: remember correctly.
- 19:39Speaker 3: I was in.
- 19:41Speaker 4: One of those.
- 19:41Speaker 2: I think I was in Atascadero, right? So I'm having
- 19:43Speaker 2: breakfast and my friend's got a bottle of champagne. They're
- 19:47Speaker 2: having mimosas, right? One of my friends, she says, well,
- 19:49Speaker 2: we're not going to finish this bottle. Give it to
- 19:51Speaker 2: the guys behind you. So I grabbed the rest of
- 19:53Speaker 2: the bottle. I give it to the guys behind me
- 19:56Speaker 2: and I go here, guys, have a good time. They're
- 19:58Speaker 2: not going to finish this. And it was a full
- 20:01Speaker 2: bottle of champagne. And the guys go, oh, the guys
- 20:03Speaker 2: are laughing. They're like, oh, my guy's getting married. And
- 20:06Speaker 2: today we can't get him too drunk, right? And you
- 20:08Speaker 2: just hear, when he said that, some guy just yells out,
- 20:11Speaker 2: don't do it. Why do you want to get married?
- 20:13Speaker 2: Sitting next to his wife. And I'm like, well, you
- 20:16Speaker 2: got to be a jackass, dude.
- 20:17Speaker 1: I'm like, no, man. And so I said, well, no,
- 20:19Speaker 1: enjoy your wedding. Have a nice day, guys. I mean,
- 20:21Speaker 1: have fun. Enjoy everything about it. Why you got to
- 20:24Speaker 1: be an a-hole like that, right?
- 20:25Speaker 2: Why you got to tell some dude, for him, this
- 20:29Speaker 2: is the most exciting time in his life.
- 20:31Speaker 1: He's getting married to the girl he loves.
- 20:34Speaker 2: And you got some old jackass sitting next to his
- 20:36Speaker 2: wife saying, don't do it.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Why you got to say that, man? Just keep your
- 20:40Speaker 1: mouth shut.
- 20:42Speaker 2: R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7-8, Rome. This didn't happen to me, but to my
- 20:46Speaker 2: son's mom. They were at Walmart on Panama, and our
- 20:49Speaker 2: son was singing his ABCs, and out of nowhere, that
- 20:53Speaker 2: was just.
- 20:54Speaker 1: The end of the story.
- 20:55Speaker 2: There you go. Remember being in like a crazy situation,
- 20:58Speaker 2: an awkward situation, maybe a bank robbery or a store
- 21:01Speaker 2: being hot? I have a friend who was in a,
- 21:03Speaker 2: I think it was a Payless Shoes, and was getting robbed.
- 21:06Speaker 2: She was in there buying shoes for her kid, and
- 21:08Speaker 2: somebody came in and robbed the joint.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Hey, Rome, this is Slick.
- 21:12Speaker 2: I had a crazy moment going to the fast trip
- 21:15Speaker 2: to gas up before work, and I go inside to pay.
- 21:17Speaker 2: When I came back to my truck, some guy was
- 21:19Speaker 2: just leaning on my truck.
- 21:21Speaker 1: I told him, move.
- 21:22Speaker 2: He said, is this your car?
- 21:24Speaker 1: I said, yeah. Move now before I beat you up.
- 21:28Speaker 2: And an old man walked up on him and hit,
- 21:32Speaker 2: walked up on him, and hit me and told get
- 21:40Speaker 2: from up here. What? Slick, you're going to have to,
- 21:42Speaker 2: how did that end? Hit you or hit him and
- 21:47Speaker 2: told get from up here.
- 21:49Speaker 1: I don't know what that, I don't know who got hit.
- 21:51Speaker 2: You're going to have to text me what really happened.
- 21:54Speaker 1: R-R-E-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Rome, when I was in my early 20s, I was
- 21:59Speaker 2: at my girl's house, which she was living at her
- 22:02Speaker 2: parents and I was going I was doing something to
- 22:05Speaker 2: her sexually, and her dad walked in. It was super awkward.
- 22:09Speaker 2: He asked his daughter, what are you doing? She just said,
- 22:12Speaker 2: what do you think, and walked out of the room.
- 22:15Speaker 2: I was nervous as hell, and he just said, oh,
- 22:19Speaker 2: it's time for you to go home. Well, I can
- 22:24Speaker 2: see that being a crazy situation. All righty, 4254, what
- 22:30Speaker 2: kind of crazy situations?
- 22:31Speaker 1: Awkward situations. Have you been in?
- 22:33Speaker 2: Talk about these crazy situations that you've been into, right?
- 22:36Speaker 1: You ever been in one?
- 22:36Speaker 4: Hey, Rome.
- 22:37Speaker 1: I was at my sister's candlelight. Let's see.
- 22:41Speaker 2: I was at my sister's candlelight, and my brother was
- 22:44Speaker 2: trying to fight a guy who was not the same
- 22:47Speaker 2: color as us. He assumed that the guy had something
- 22:50Speaker 2: to do with her death. I tried to stop him.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Then he pulled out his gun on me and pulled
- 23:00Speaker 2: the slide back to put a bullet in the chamber
- 23:03Speaker 2: and told me to move out of the way. I
- 23:05Speaker 2: told him, so you're going to pull out your gun
- 23:11Speaker 2: on me because I'm not letting you fight this guy?
- 23:15Speaker 1: So I step aside. They start fighting. Oh, my God.
- 23:18Speaker 2: That's a crazy situation.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Yo, Rome, I invited my good friend over to.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Have some drinks and watch a football game with his
- 23:30Speaker 2: new trans girlfriend. Turns out I used to mess with
- 23:33Speaker 2: her back in my single days. Now I'm afraid my
- 23:37Speaker 2: wife will find out because now they talk a lot
- 23:41Speaker 2: since that day. It was so awkward, and now I'm
- 23:44Speaker 2: scared my wife's going to find out I used to
- 23:46Speaker 2: be bi.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Well, I mean.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Small town things, you know, small town things happen in
- 23:58Speaker 2: small towns. I mean, hey, good luck with that, man.
- 24:04Speaker 1: That's funny.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Talking about some of the craziest, the awkward situations that
- 24:08Speaker 2: you've been in.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Hey, Rome, the old man.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Oh, this is the old man who pulled a gun. Oh,
- 24:15Speaker 2: pulled up. The old man that pulled up to get
- 24:18Speaker 2: gas as well, he seen and heard him telling move.
- 24:23Speaker 2: I guess the old man needed to relieve some frustration
- 24:26Speaker 2: because he punched the dude that was at my truck
- 24:30Speaker 2: and wouldn't move. Yeah, the old man was at least
- 24:32Speaker 2: 60 plus. He punched the dude hard, moved after that. Oh,
- 24:36Speaker 2: I see what you're saying. So the old man that
- 24:39Speaker 2: was helping you out, Slick, is that what you're saying?
- 24:41Speaker 2: Slick said he came out the gas station, some dude
- 24:44Speaker 2: was on his truck and wouldn't move. Hey, Rome.
- 24:48Speaker 1: It was my birthday.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Me and my girl were getting ready to go have
- 24:52Speaker 2: dinner right when we were going to leave. We decided
- 24:56Speaker 2: to bust a quickie in the living room. She was
- 24:58Speaker 2: on top of me. And her mom decided to vibe
- 25:05Speaker 2: to the living room, hand me my birthday card and
- 25:09Speaker 2: tell us sorry. Hand me my birthday card and tells
- 25:13Speaker 2: us sorry. Here you go. And now I hope you
- 25:16Speaker 2: guys finish. Now my girl jumps off and felt so embarrassed.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Not me.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Gosh.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Well, there you go.
- 25:27Speaker 1: All right.
- 25:27Speaker 2: I can see how that would be awkward for her.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh. What do you send me here? Yo, Rome,
- 25:32Speaker 1: check this one out.
- 25:33Speaker 2: One of my exes did one of those dumbass loyalty
- 25:36Speaker 2: tests on me. I was with her for two months
- 25:40Speaker 2: in a relationship. New over six months. She hadn't met
- 25:43Speaker 2: my family or anything. Well, yeah.
- 25:46Speaker 1: I failed.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Had her friend try to get at me. Well, girl power, right?
- 25:53Speaker 2: So then we get caught, whatever. Me and the friend
- 25:56Speaker 2: start talking. And like, actually, like that confrontation wasn't weird
- 26:04Speaker 2: as it is. She starts telling me she can't wait
- 26:08Speaker 2: to sleep with my brother. So I told her, I
- 26:12Speaker 2: can't wait till she does either. She gets in contact
- 26:16Speaker 2: with me, with my bro. They plan a date for
- 26:20Speaker 2: her to go over. She walks, let's see, for her
- 26:23Speaker 2: to go over. She walks, some of these text messages
- 26:27Speaker 2: are long. She walks in and I'm waiting for her. Well,
- 26:31Speaker 2: since I'm talking to her friend, she wants revenge on
- 26:35Speaker 2: her friend too.
- 26:36Speaker 1: So we do it.
- 26:37Speaker 2: My brother ends up, In it anyway, a few hours later,
- 26:40Speaker 2: fast forward current days, I'm with a friend and my
- 26:43Speaker 2: ex is pregnant. Could be mine or my brother's. Not
- 26:47Speaker 2: sure if anyone else is a possibility. Oh, my God.
- 26:52Speaker 1: That's crazy. You're right.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Crazy situations, man. Sometimes you just end up in one.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Get into these crazy situations, awkward situations you've.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Ever been in.
- 27:01Speaker 2: I mean, sometimes it's just the wrong place at the
- 27:03Speaker 2: wrong time. What are you going to do? R-A-4-2-5-4-7-0-7. Good morning.
- 27:07Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 27:08Speaker 4: Good morning, Romeo.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Hey, what's up?
- 27:10Speaker 4: So my awkward situation is I had my first threesome
- 27:14Speaker 4: when I was 45 years old.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Your first threesome at 45, okay.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I was kind of old.
- 27:20Speaker 4: Anyway, so it was with my situationship and his girlfriend.
- 27:28Speaker 5: And right in the middle of the threesome, it was like.
- 27:31Speaker 4: A light switch with her. She went off and started...
- 27:34Speaker 4: going off on him and they started arguing and fighting
- 27:37Speaker 4: mind you this person I've known half of my life
- 27:40Speaker 4: the man but the girl I don't I have no
- 27:43Speaker 4: clue about so she got to get in this and
- 27:45Speaker 4: we were almost there but like I said like a
- 27:47Speaker 4: light switch she went crazy they started arguing and fighting
- 27:50Speaker 4: or whatever.
- 27:51Speaker 5: Story short at the end of it me and her
- 27:56Speaker 5: end up in the ambulance driving to the hospital together
- 27:58Speaker 5: and mind you I didn't fight in this but I
- 28:00Speaker 5: got hurt.
- 28:01Speaker 2: In it how'd you get hurt?
- 28:04Speaker 4: Exactly right.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Wait, hold on. Was this her first threesome and that's
- 28:10Speaker 2: why she was tripping or what? Why did she start tripping?
- 28:13Speaker 4: It was my first threesome, but they, they're from my understanding,
- 28:17Speaker 4: they're a swinger couple. So I have no idea what that,
- 28:19Speaker 4: we were all drunk.
- 28:20Speaker 5: I can tell you that much.
- 28:21Speaker 4: We were all drunk.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Gosh, I hope so.
- 28:24Speaker 4: I don't know how the heck this happened, but like
- 28:27Speaker 4: I said, we ended up in the hospital.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Oh, that's hilarious.
- 28:30Speaker 5: Riding in the ambulance together.
- 28:32Speaker 4: I was like, oh God, I don't even want to
- 28:33Speaker 4: be here.
- 28:35Speaker 2: So nobody got in there that night?
- 28:38Speaker 4: Um.
- 28:39Speaker 5: Basically, no.
- 28:42Speaker 4: It was a lot of touching and kissing and loving
- 28:44Speaker 4: and all that stuff.
- 28:46Speaker 5: Just, she spoiled that.
- 28:47Speaker 4: She spoiled it for me.
- 28:48Speaker 2: She ruined it for you?
- 28:50Speaker 4: She ruined it for me.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Well, hey, you can always try again.
- 28:53Speaker 4: Maybe, maybe not. I don't know. I ended up in
- 28:57Speaker 4: a boot.
- 28:57Speaker 2: I can tell you this, how bad it got.
- 28:59Speaker 4: I was in a boot for two weeks.
- 29:00Speaker 3: No.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Well, I hope you get your threesome at some point.
- 29:07Speaker 4: Well, within 50s, Romeo, I'm almost there. I'm almost there.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Okay. Well, good luck with that. I hope it works
- 29:12Speaker 2: out for you. Thanks for calling. Bye-bye. I mean, there's
- 29:18Speaker 2: nothing worse, right, than thinking you're going to have a
- 29:20Speaker 2: threesome and ending up in a hospital. Talk about these
- 29:22Speaker 2: crazy situations or awkward situations you've ever been in, right?
- 29:26Speaker 4: 842-547-7.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Hey, Rome, I was having a threesome in the almond
- 29:31Speaker 2: orchards in Shafter.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Cops pulled up. That was hella awkward. I don't know.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Cops have probably pulled up on a lot of, you know,
- 29:41Speaker 2: people getting busy in their cars.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Hey, Rome, I got that girl, man. She didn't get
- 29:51Speaker 1: none that night.
- 29:52Speaker 2: I'll handle her.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Oh, you're talking about poor girl.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Poor girl. She said she was 45 years old. She
- 29:58Speaker 2: was going to have her first threesome, but I guess
- 30:00Speaker 2: the girlfriend started tripping and they both ended up in
- 30:02Speaker 2: the hospital.
- 30:03Speaker 1: She ended up in a boot.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Oh, that's too bad. All righty, 425477. Yo, Rome, what's
- 30:13Speaker 2: the wildest situation you've ever been in?
- 30:16Speaker 4: Wow.
- 30:17Speaker 1: I've been in a lot of wild situations.
- 30:23Speaker 2: I think the craziest thing that really, and this is
- 30:26Speaker 2: going to sound really, really stupid. But I think the
- 30:29Speaker 2: craziest thing I've ever really been involved in was when
- 30:33Speaker 2: I was on the res, when I lived on the res. See,
- 30:36Speaker 2: back when I lived on the res, they grew a
- 30:39Speaker 2: lot of pot. So we were like the biggest, our
- 30:43Speaker 2: area was like the biggest pot producing area in the country.
- 30:47Speaker 2: So they would have these people called camp. And camp
- 30:52Speaker 2: would come in and they would fly helicopters around and
- 30:55Speaker 2: look for patches. And my uncle set some big big
- 30:58Speaker 2: patches on the res. And it was no big deal
- 31:01Speaker 2: for us to go with them to water. You know,
- 31:03Speaker 2: we wouldn't water, I mean, obviously, but it was no
- 31:06Speaker 2: big deal for us to be with our uncles, you know,
- 31:08Speaker 2: our aunts and uncles on the reservation and then just going, hey,
- 31:12Speaker 2: we got to stop by the patch and I'm going to,
- 31:14Speaker 2: you know, I got to water real quick. And as
- 31:16Speaker 2: a kid, you just sit in the truck or sit,
- 31:18Speaker 2: you know, sit in the bed of the truck. You
- 31:20Speaker 2: wouldn't really do much. But when camp came, You'd just
- 31:23Speaker 2: take off. You didn't take off in your truck. You
- 31:26Speaker 2: just took off running because camp came in on helicopters
- 31:29Speaker 2: and on foot. So that was kind of crazy. The
- 31:33Speaker 2: first time I had to run out of a pot
- 31:35Speaker 2: patch or a weed patch.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Was kind of wild.
- 31:39Speaker 2: The other thing that was funny, though, that was just crazy,
- 31:42Speaker 2: this is just crazy, was when what camp would do
- 31:45Speaker 2: is they would take all the weed that they collect
- 31:48Speaker 2: and they'd build a pile probably as a, I don't know,
- 31:51Speaker 2: two-story building. And they would just light it on fire. Now,
- 31:57Speaker 2: as kids, we were on our bikes. We could literally,
- 31:59Speaker 2: we'd go watch them light it on fire because it
- 32:03Speaker 2: was cool to us, man. It was a big, big,
- 32:06Speaker 2: big fire, you know, probably, I don't even know how tall.
- 32:11Speaker 1: And we would literally maybe be.
- 32:13Speaker 2: 40 yards from it watching it, just sitting there, me
- 32:17Speaker 2: and my cousin just sitting on our bikes, cousins and
- 32:20Speaker 2: friends just watching all this weed burn. I'm pretty sure
- 32:24Speaker 2: we were high by the time we went home. So,
- 32:27Speaker 2: I mean, I've been in a lot of wild situations.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Those are just two of the funniest, I guess. This
- 32:32Speaker 2: is a wild story. I don't know if you guys
- 32:34Speaker 2: have seen this yet, but this, I wish Daniel was
- 32:38Speaker 2: around right now so I could ask him these questions
- 32:41Speaker 2: from a lawyer's legal perspective. But Meta, you guys know Meta,
- 32:46Speaker 2: Mark Zuckerberg. I guess Meta is Facebook and Instagram and Meta,
- 32:50Speaker 2: the company. I guess they agreed to pay $ 16. 7 billion
- 32:56Speaker 2: to settle a social media addiction case. Have you guys
- 32:59Speaker 2: heard about this? Apparently, I don't know if it was
- 33:03Speaker 2: parents or if it was a class action lawsuit or
- 33:06Speaker 2: what it was, but there was a lawsuit that claims
- 33:14Speaker 2: Meta designed Facebook and IG to addict children and fueled
- 33:19Speaker 2: a mental health crisis that reacted all comers of the nation. Now,
- 33:25Speaker 2: in addition to shelling out $ 16. 7 billion to California and
- 33:28Speaker 2: 28 other states, which means, where does.
- 33:30Speaker 1: That money go?
- 33:31Speaker 2: Why does California get that money? What about the people
- 33:35Speaker 2: that were affected by the addiction part of this claim
- 33:40Speaker 2: or this lawsuit?
- 33:42Speaker 1: Whatever that means, I don't know how that works.
- 33:46Speaker 2: So the company agreed to create daily limits and blocks
- 33:49Speaker 2: on nighttime use for teenage users, plus enhanced age assurance
- 33:54Speaker 2: measures to prevent children from accessing the platform or age
- 33:58Speaker 2: restriction content available on the platform. Now, apparently there's no judge.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Apparently the judge hasn't signed off on this yet, but
- 34:07Speaker 2: they're required to create safeguards to help parents and guardians
- 34:10Speaker 2: protect their children online. The settlement still needs to be
- 34:14Speaker 2: approved by a judge, so we'll see what happens. Meta
- 34:17Speaker 2: denied the allegations but settled the case. The company says
- 34:20Speaker 2: it could have ended up costing them over a trillion
- 34:22Speaker 2: dollars in penalties. Meta still faces thousands of lawsuits in
- 34:27Speaker 2: federal and state courts, so this may not be the
- 34:30Speaker 2: last time the company shells out big bucks to settle.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Here's my question.
- 34:38Speaker 2: In March, they were ordered to pay $ 375 million for
- 34:41Speaker 2: misleading consumers about safety About safety. Earlier this month's... Now,
- 34:46Speaker 2: here's my question about this. Oh, here you go. $ 567
- 34:54Speaker 2: million also in March. A Los Angeles jury found Meta
- 34:57Speaker 2: and Google liable for a woman's anxiety and depression and
- 35:02Speaker 2: ordered them to pay her $ 6 million in damages.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Okay. Here's my question.
- 35:09Speaker 2: At what point is it....
- 35:16Speaker 1: We've all known this.
- 35:18Speaker 2: We've known this for how many years now that these
- 35:23Speaker 2: phones are addictive? We've known that they do these algorithms
- 35:28Speaker 2: and these different things to get you addicted in the
- 35:31Speaker 2: same way a drug addicts you, how it affects your brain, right?
- 35:37Speaker 2: And why should we blame them? Why is it Facebook's
- 35:43Speaker 2: fault or Meta's fault that you as parents can't control
- 35:47Speaker 2: your kids? You as parents can't monitor your kids and
- 35:52Speaker 2: what they do on their phones or not buy them
- 35:56Speaker 2: a phone. I don't understand that.
- 35:59Speaker 1: No, I think it's wrong. Don't get me wrong.
- 36:02Speaker 2: I think it's wrong. I think it's absolutely horrible that
- 36:08Speaker 2: these companies are doing this, you know, to addict children.
- 36:12Speaker 2: or addict teenagers, or adults. I would say simple-minded adults,
- 36:16Speaker 2: because adults should be smarter than that, but you're not.
- 36:19Speaker 2: So you get just as addicted as your kids do.
- 36:21Speaker 2: So I agree that they're 100% liable for doing that.
- 36:26Speaker 2: But why is there no accountability for the parents?
- 36:30Speaker 1: You know?
- 36:32Speaker 5: Why?
- 36:33Speaker 2: Maybe if parents started raising their kids, we wouldn't have
- 36:36Speaker 2: all these crazy problems that we see in this world today.
- 36:41Speaker 2: But And I would go a step further. If you
- 36:44Speaker 2: want to really help the Internet, don't let stupid people
- 36:48Speaker 2: use it. Don't let stupid people on social media. They're
- 36:51Speaker 2: the ones that are really causing the problems. Send me here. Yo, Rome,
- 36:54Speaker 2: when I was 18, my mom had just got a
- 36:56Speaker 2: Chrysler 300 when they had just came out, and everyone
- 37:00Speaker 2: had them. So I remember when everybody had those Chryslers.
- 37:04Speaker 2: So I went to get a haircut at 8 a.m.
- 37:07Speaker 2: in it. I was talking to some girl flexing, saying,
- 37:13Speaker 2: just got it, but it had to be back at
- 37:16Speaker 2: 11 to give my mom the car back because she
- 37:18Speaker 2: had stuff to do. I got my hair cut, pick
- 37:21Speaker 2: up the girl, and my plan was to hit the orchards,
- 37:25Speaker 2: get it in.
- 37:26Speaker 1: We got out there.
- 37:27Speaker 2: She says, no breakfast first. I was like, nah, man,
- 37:33Speaker 2: I came for this. We're in the fields close to McFarland.
- 37:37Speaker 2: I lived in Delano at the time. And she was like, nah,
- 37:41Speaker 2: I want breakfast first. And I told her I'm taking
- 37:44Speaker 2: her home then. Let's see, I'm taking her home then.
- 37:47Speaker 2: Time is getting short.
- 37:48Speaker 1: She refused, Rome.
- 37:50Speaker 2: And there's no way I'm going to get yelled at
- 37:52Speaker 2: by my mom for making her late for whatever she
- 37:55Speaker 2: had to do. She went to the passenger side, opened
- 37:59Speaker 2: her door, got her off. Oh, what did you say?
- 38:05Speaker 2: She went to the passenger side, opened her door, got
- 38:08Speaker 2: her off, locked her door, told her she was walking,
- 38:13Speaker 2: went back to the driver's door. My dumb ass hit
- 38:17Speaker 2: the lock button on the door, so it locked the
- 38:20Speaker 2: driver door as well. Had to call my mom to
- 38:23Speaker 2: bring the spare key to unlock it. Poor girl was
- 38:26Speaker 2: right there telling my mom the whole scoop. She found
- 38:30Speaker 2: out it was my mom's car. Bro, she was willing
- 38:40Speaker 2: to have sex with you in an orchard in McFarland, bro.
- 38:45Speaker 2: You couldn't have ran through a McDonald's drive-thru and got
- 38:47Speaker 2: an Egg McMuffin for her? I'll tell you, another marriage
- 38:53Speaker 2: bites the dust because of a co-worker. I don't know
- 38:56Speaker 2: when you guys are going to ever start listening to
- 38:58Speaker 2: me about your co-workers. I know you guys like your co-workers.
- 39:02Speaker 2: Some of you like them, some of you hate them.
- 39:04Speaker 2: The best thing you can do for your marriage is
- 39:06Speaker 2: hate your co-worker. A buddy of mine I grew up with,
- 39:10Speaker 2: I've known this guy since high school. I've known him
- 39:12Speaker 2: for a long time, and he... He's an IT guy,
- 39:17Speaker 2: and he runs his own IT business. He doesn't live
- 39:19Speaker 2: in Bakersfield. He lives out of state, lives in another state. Well,
- 39:23Speaker 2: he and his wife have been together a long time.
- 39:26Speaker 2: They've been together for 25 years, I think. I think
- 39:31Speaker 2: I married when I moved to Bakersfield. And then they
- 39:35Speaker 2: moved out to Ohio. And no, not the trailer park.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Had a couple of kids. He does real well, real,
- 39:43Speaker 2: real well for himself. So he owns his business. And
- 39:49Speaker 2: it's the stupidest cliche you can ever.
- 39:54Speaker 1: He slept with his secretary, right? Secretary.
- 39:58Speaker 2: She'd been there for about a year, I guess, you know.
- 40:01Speaker 2: You talk to him every day, right?
- 40:02Speaker 1: What happens?
- 40:05Speaker 2: So now his wife, he called me to tell me
- 40:09Speaker 2: what happened the other day. And I was waiting to
- 40:11Speaker 2: talk about it with you guys because you're co-workers, man.
- 40:14Speaker 2: You guys got to realize... They are the worst possible enemy.
- 40:19Speaker 2: They are the biggest enemy to your marriage is your coworkers.
- 40:23Speaker 2: For a lot of different reasons, you know. And I've
- 40:26Speaker 2: been telling you guys this for years. You guys sit
- 40:29Speaker 2: and have conversations with your coworkers. It's just like dating.
- 40:32Speaker 2: You have these intimate conversations with them. Workers that are
- 40:36Speaker 2: going to give you advice, which is terrible advice. No
- 40:39Speaker 2: co-workers ever given. How many of you got a co-worker
- 40:42Speaker 2: that you come to work and go, man, my marriage,
- 40:44Speaker 2: me and my wife were fighting last night, blah, blah, blah.
- 40:46Speaker 2: And they go, you know what you need to do, bro?
- 40:48Speaker 2: You need to apologize. You need to go home. You
- 40:51Speaker 2: need to say you're sorry. You need to talk it out. No,
- 40:53Speaker 2: the first thing they say is, bro, let's go to
- 40:55Speaker 2: the bar and we'll forget her. You can do better, right?
- 40:58Speaker 2: It's all her.
- 40:59Speaker 5: No.
- 41:00Speaker 2: So co-workers, worst advice when it comes to your relationship.
- 41:04Speaker 2: You guys are out there flirting with each other at work.
- 41:07Speaker 2: You're dating. You're basically dating your coworkers because you're having
- 41:11Speaker 2: conversations about things that happen at home that have nothing
- 41:14Speaker 2: to do with you and that coworker, right? So this
- 41:19Speaker 2: is a conversation I had with my close friend. He
- 41:22Speaker 2: was going to work, talking to his secretary about what
- 41:25Speaker 2: was going on at home, and guess what? She's just
- 41:28Speaker 2: the secretary. She doesn't have, you know, a 4,000-square-foot house.
- 41:35Speaker 2: She's living in an apartment. She doesn't, you know, she's
- 41:39Speaker 2: going to the gym every day looking hot. The wife's
- 41:42Speaker 2: a little frumpy, you know, not doing, you know, with
- 41:45Speaker 2: a little attitude. And so he ended up making a
- 41:50Speaker 2: bad decision, and now we'll see how it all plays out.
- 41:54Speaker 2: But you guys don't understand that. And you guys just,
- 42:01Speaker 2: you don't listen. Or maybe you don't care.
- 42:05Speaker 1: What's that?
- 42:05Speaker 2: Oh, that's my work wife. What do you think that
- 42:08Speaker 2: really means? You think that's a term of endearment? No,
- 42:12Speaker 2: that's you stepping out of your marriage. Or that's my
- 42:14Speaker 2: work husband. Or no, we're just co-workers. You're just co-workers.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Until you're not. And then you went there. I bet,
- 42:23Speaker 2: I bet, without doing any, any statistics, I would bet
- 42:30Speaker 2: that the majority of men or women that have cheated
- 42:35Speaker 2: on their husbands or wives was with a coworker. Now,
- 42:39Speaker 2: I didn't do no study, but I would bet that
- 42:43Speaker 2: most people who cheat on their spouses, it's with a coworker.
- 42:48Speaker 2: And why is that? Because, well, you spend a lot
- 42:52Speaker 2: of time with them and you start having these conversations
- 42:55Speaker 2: that are intimate and all of a sudden you're in
- 42:57Speaker 2: a relationship. I mean, I don't know for sure because
- 43:03Speaker 2: I don't have any coworkers. Well, I have coworkers, but
- 43:05Speaker 2: I don't talk to any of my coworkers. I just
- 43:07Speaker 2: don't see them. So, yeah, let's talk about coworkers.
- 43:12Speaker 1: You got good ones? You got bad ones?
- 43:13Speaker 2: All right, let's talk about your coworkers. Dan, what happened
- 43:15Speaker 2: with your coworkers? You got a story?
- 43:17Speaker 1: You got a good one?
- 43:18Speaker 2: You got a bad one?
- 43:18Speaker 1: What went down?
- 43:19Speaker 2: All right, let me tell you what happened. I started
- 43:22Speaker 2: this job. I started this job one time. I don't
- 43:26Speaker 2: want to say where it was at because I still
- 43:28Speaker 2: work there. But I went to the Christmas party the
- 43:31Speaker 2: first year with my girlfriend, and it turned out that
- 43:35Speaker 2: one of the women that worked at the job and
- 43:37Speaker 2: my girlfriend had went to high school together, and they
- 43:39Speaker 2: didn't like each other.
- 43:41Speaker 1: I guess they always had beef.
- 43:43Speaker 2: So this girl that worked with me was always hitting
- 43:46Speaker 2: on me, was always trying to get with me, was
- 43:48Speaker 2: always trying to sleep with me because she hated my girlfriend. Yes, Rome,
- 43:54Speaker 2: I did end up sleeping with her. So you're right.
- 43:57Speaker 2: Coworkers can be the worst. You didn't have to sleep
- 44:04Speaker 2: with her. I'm guessing you and your girlfriend are no
- 44:06Speaker 2: longer together, but you still got the job while you're
- 44:09Speaker 2: still working at the company. I mean, co-workers are very
- 44:14Speaker 2: detrimental to your health.
- 44:16Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Co-workers are not.
- 44:20Speaker 2: Of all the people in this world that can ruin
- 44:24Speaker 2: your life, the biggest is the co-worker. The biggest is
- 44:29Speaker 2: the co-worker. You want to You want to stay away
- 44:32Speaker 2: from your coworkers. Yeah. They can really cause a lot
- 44:36Speaker 2: of problems in your relationships and your home life. Yeah. R-D-4-2-5-4, 7-7. Okay,
- 44:43Speaker 2: so coworkers, right? You got good coworkers. You got bad coworkers.
- 44:46Speaker 2: I would venture to say that 99% of you got
- 44:49Speaker 2: bad coworkers. Not a lot of, yeah, yeah.
- 44:56Speaker 5: R-D-4-2-5-4, 7-7.
- 44:57Speaker 2: Hey, Romeo. Hey, Romeo. Let me tell you what happened
- 45:02Speaker 2: when I went back to work and what this coworker
- 45:05Speaker 2: did to me. So when my kids started going to school,
- 45:10Speaker 2: when my kids started going to school, I had free
- 45:12Speaker 2: time on my hands. I was a stay-at-home mom raising
- 45:15Speaker 2: my kids. My husband has a great job that pays
- 45:18Speaker 2: all the bills, but I was looking for something to do.
- 45:21Speaker 2: So I got a little part-time job in an office. Now,
- 45:25Speaker 2: there were three women in the office, including me. One
- 45:30Speaker 2: of the women was always trying to take me out.
- 45:33Speaker 2: She befriended me. We talked a lot about being a,
- 45:37Speaker 2: we talked a lot about home life. I thought she
- 45:39Speaker 2: was my friend. She would try to take me out
- 45:42Speaker 2: to happy hour, get me drunk. Well, it turns out
- 45:45Speaker 2: she was trying to steal my husband from me. It
- 45:49Speaker 2: took me a while to figure out. I was kind
- 45:51Speaker 2: of naive, Romeo, because I was coming off a stay, because, oh,
- 45:56Speaker 2: because I was a stay-at-home mom. And I was back
- 46:00Speaker 2: in the workforce thinking how great this was, but this
- 46:04Speaker 2: woman was trying to take my man, Rome.
- 46:07Speaker 1: I found out one night we were out partying.
- 46:11Speaker 2: We went back to the house with a group of people,
- 46:13Speaker 2: and she tried to get my man alone. My man
- 46:18Speaker 2: luckily told me immediately about it, and I kicked her
- 46:22Speaker 2: out of my house, never talked to her again, Rome.
- 46:24Speaker 2: I actually quit the job because she did that. Yeah,
- 46:28Speaker 2: I mean... That's the biggest problem is you guys, you
- 46:32Speaker 2: guys think you're friends. You give them all this information.
- 46:35Speaker 2: I mean, either way you talk about your home life,
- 46:37Speaker 2: you talk about personal things that you should never talk
- 46:40Speaker 2: about with a coworker. And then you wonder why they
- 46:42Speaker 2: try to manipulate you and take what's yours or try
- 46:45Speaker 2: to get something out of you. Cause you know, yeah,
- 46:50Speaker 2: that's just, that's fortunately there. I've heard a lot of
- 46:54Speaker 2: stories about, I've heard a lot of stories like that one,
- 46:58Speaker 2: you know, The other story.
- 46:59Speaker 1: I hear a lot of is coworkers.
- 47:01Speaker 2: When you're the young, hot woman that comes into a
- 47:06Speaker 2: new company with a bunch of fat ladies, they will
- 47:09Speaker 2: try to fatten you up so that you look just
- 47:11Speaker 2: like them. And they want to bring you down to
- 47:14Speaker 2: their level instead of you bringing them up to your level.
- 47:17Speaker 1: I've heard that story a lot also.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Romeo in the morning.
- 47:21Speaker 4: Every morning. On Hot 94.1.
