- 0:01Hello folks, this is Princess. You are listening to the
- 0:04Millennial Mustard Seed podcast. Thanks for listening.
- 0:07Don't forget to share with your friends.
- 0:11That's tough. We're in a very tough spot.
- 0:13I think that what we're doing right now is a great benefit and
- 0:17virtue because it's an end around between this whole
- 0:21corrupt informational system, media system.
- 0:25We claim to believe in a God who spoke the universe into
- 0:28existence and literally raised himself from the dead, and yet
- 0:33we are not going to believe that anything else exists in the
- 0:36spirit realm, even though his word tells us that they do.
- 0:40Their bodies weren't permitted to go to sleep like humans do,
- 0:44and they weren't permitted to go to heaven, so they wander the
- 0:47earth. You know, I've seen the eyes
- 0:50turn black to unknown tongues being spoken.
- 0:55These giants would love way up in the Highland.
- 0:57The old Braves, the young men would hide them in the trees and
- 1:01wait for one of these 12 footers to come walking down the path
- 1:04and they would jump on them and kill them, drag them back to the
- 1:07village, and the village would feast on the body freedom.
- 1:15Then people start to get weapons, they start to get
- 1:17armor, they start to build cities, they start to fortify
- 1:19their cities. Now God looks down and there's
- 1:22violence everywhere. The battle, this war that we are
- 1:26at is not against each other. It's against these
- 1:29principalities and these rulers and these archons in the high
- 1:31places. It's really worthwhile to read
- 1:34the Bible yourself. Fear is one of the primary
- 1:37drivers of mind control because we have to take every thought
- 1:42captive and resist fear. You're going to have a testimony
- 1:49that is a justice case against the Kingdom of darkness.
- 2:25Welcome back to the MMS. I'm Rod Smith, Music your
- 2:29creator and producer and part time host of the Millennial
- 2:32Mustard Seed podcast. Aaron Christian Davis hosts this
- 2:36interview with Doctor Alex McFarlane.
- 2:40The transgender delusion has gone on long enough.
- 2:44Doctor Alex and Aaron get into a bunch of fascinating topics
- 2:48about transgender delusion, and it's time for America to wake up
- 2:53now. Doctor Alex McFarlane is a youth
- 2:56culture and religion expert. Doctor Alex McFarlane is an
- 3:01interesting character. He's authored over 20 books,

- 3:11Your Kids That They Will Ask About Christianity and.
- 3:14This was published by Focus on the Family.
- 3:17He redirects biblical worldview and teaches in schools of
- 3:21practical government for the cherished Bible college located
- 3:24in woodland parks, Colorado. Doctor Alex McFarland is a

- 3:33other media outlets, including fox and friends.

- 3:40Times and The Washington Post, BBCCBN.
- 3:43He's a contributor writer in print and electronic media,
- 3:48including LA Times, Boston Herald, celebrity News magazine,
- 3:52Christianity Today, Charisma on Mission, Billy Graham's Decision
- 3:55Magazine and more. What's interesting is I have no
- 3:58affiliation with any of these companies, but how I got
- 4:02connected with Doctor Alex McFarlane is quite interesting
- 4:05and I chose Aaron to do this interview.
- 4:08I think he has the personality and he asks the right questions,
- 4:12which you guys will see as soon as we get into this episode.
- 4:16But what we're doing here is exploring the reality of what
- 4:21God said according to genders. I have a lot of production to do
- 4:25these days, but Rod is super busy.
- 4:28So with that being said, let's do some quick maintenance like
- 4:32share and subscribe. Leave us a five star rating on
- 4:35your favorite podcast catcher. Apple Podcast listeners read the
- 4:40written reviews on Apple Podcast and write me a written review
- 4:43with five stars. It makes a difference.
- 4:45You can also find links in the details of the show notes to
- 4:48plant a seed. If you'd like to partner with
- 4:50our ministry. You can also hear my new song
- 4:53called See Me Through at the end of this episode.
- 4:57You guys may have noticed I've been alternating between Not of
- 5:00This World by BHB, which is the anthem this year for the
- 5:04podcast, and my newest song called See Me Through, so
- 5:07hopefully you guys enjoy that. That was written in a hard
- 5:10season of many tears and reflection, and I kind of
- 5:14spilled my heart on that one. That's it for Maintenance.
- 5:18The last thing I can ask before we get into this episode is that
- 5:20you guys would share it far and wide.
- 5:23It is just the right thing to do to help us find more people that
- 5:26are just like me and you. I think it's about time to jump
- 5:33into this episode. I'm ready.
- 5:35Are you guys ready? Let's go.
- 5:37Let's. Go.
- 5:51Welcome back to another episode of the Millennial Mustard Seed.
- 5:56I am your host, Aaron Christian Davis.
- 5:59I have the honor and the pleasure to be joined by Alex
- 6:04McFarland. Alex McFarland is a Christian
- 6:07apologist, author, religion and culture analyst, and advocate
- 6:12for biblical truth. He's wrote over 20 books, he's
- 6:17the Co host of Truth and Liberty TV broadcast and also exploring
- 6:23the word and he can also be found on the River FM for
- 6:28anybody that listens to old school radio.
- 6:32Well, first of all, Aaron, thanks for having me on.
- 6:35It's a great honor. And man, I love the title, The
- 6:39Millennial Mustard Seed. That's that's a cool title.
- 6:43And just thanks for spending some time today.
- 6:46You know, before we started recording, you and I were just
- 6:50talking and man, I feel like you're an old friend already.
- 6:54So thanks for thanks for being with me, brother.
- 6:57I completely agree and the honor is mine.
- 7:00I know this is going to sound like an old person, but every
- 7:03day is a gift. I mean it really is.
- 7:06And we can do things that that count for eternity.
- 7:09And one of my favorite Bible verses and I got saved when I
- 7:12was 21. I was in college long time ago,
- 7:1535 years ago. But First Corinthians 1558 says
- 7:21be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the
- 7:25Lord for your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
- 7:29Isn't that awesome? I mean, whatever we do for
- 7:32Jesus, I mean, it really matters.
- 7:34It is not in vain. It's very crucial and you know,
- 7:38life is not perfect. There's challenges, you know,
- 7:42but God is faithful. And I would just say to
- 7:45everybody that hears this, if you've never trusted Christ,
- 7:48Jesus is as close by as a prayer and the Lord loves you so much.
- 7:54I I don't even have a vocabulary adequate to convey how much
- 7:59Jesus loves you and what all Jesus will do for you and he he
- 8:04died to Paris in debt. If you turn to Christ and said,
- 8:07dear Jesus, please forgive my sins.
- 8:11Dear Jesus, please save me. I want to follow you from this
- 8:15moment forward. He has promised to receive you.
- 8:18He will receive you. The greatest, the greatest thing
- 8:22ever is to put your faith in Christ.
- 8:25I know you know that you and I are fellowshipping around the
- 8:29things of God this this morning, but everybody listening, I would
- 8:33say give your life to Jesus. It's the greatest thing you'll
- 8:37ever experience. Yeah, I I remember having a
- 8:41conversation with Rob not that long ago, maybe a few months
- 8:44ago, and just feeling convicted about not doing enough for the
- 8:49Kingdom. I don't think you have that
- 8:51problem. You, you're kind of everywhere.
- 8:55I mean, like you've been a contributor on Fox News, NP, Rs,
- 9:01All Things Considered, New York Times, Washington Post, and to
- 9:06top it off, Billy Graham's Decision magazine.
- 9:10Much more than that. Those are just some of the, the,
- 9:13the things that you know, I, I kind of jotted down, but what
- 9:16inspires you? Jesus is the most real thing in
- 9:22my life. It's it's funny, Aaron and and I
- 9:26want to say to everybody listening, God is calling you
- 9:31every human being in this world and and many, many listening are
- 9:36saved. I'm sure you have a huge
- 9:38listener base of people that are Christians already, no doubt,
- 9:42and they're probably some listeners that are not sure.
- 9:45Maybe you're kind of kicking the tires and like what what is this
- 9:48Christianity? Is this really real?
- 9:50It really is true. It's funny, Aaron, when I was a
- 9:54little kid and and I had to be younger than six because we
- 9:59moved when I was 5 and I turned 6 at this new house.
- 10:04So IA lot of my early early childhood.
- 10:07I remember we moved and it was before we moved.
- 10:10So one day I was lying in the front yard on a summer day
- 10:13looking up at the sky. And it was one of those days
- 10:16where it was a sunny day, but yet you could see the moon.
- 10:19You ever seen that? Like it's weird, you can see the
- 10:22moon even though it's daytime. You ever seen that?
- 10:25And, and I was a little kid. This is going to sound weird,
- 10:28but I think this might have been my first awareness of God and it
- 10:33had to be the Holy Spirit. But I'm lying in the yard, I'm
- 10:36looking up at the sky and you could see the moon.
- 10:40And this thought went through my head.
- 10:42I was like, what if the moon fell on us?
- 10:45I hope the moon doesn't fall down on us.
- 10:49And and I thought, it's not going to do that because God is
- 10:53holding it there. And I have no idea how in the
- 10:57world I thought that, but I was on a sunny day, you could see
- 11:00the moon even though it was daytime.
- 11:03And I thought it's, it's not going to drop down and fall on
- 11:06us because God is holding it. And, and I, I've thought back on
- 11:10that and I don't know what prompted me to think that, but
- 11:15to my recollection, that's like the first time I thought about
- 11:18God, that God, God was holding the moon in place right then,
- 11:24you know, growing up, I have an older sister and we like kids do
- 11:27we would fight and stuff. But like, if I was mean to my
- 11:31sister, I felt bad about it. And I, I realized I had a
- 11:35conscience. And I remember as a kid, I was
- 11:39like struggling. I would know the right, but I
- 11:44would want to do the wrong. My mother would say, don't spoil
- 11:47your supper. Don't, don't go in that kitchen
- 11:49and eat some cookies before supper.
- 11:52And I might disobey my mom, but I felt bad about it.
- 11:55That conscience, that awareness of right versus wrong.
- 12:00You know, the apostle Paul writes about this in the book of
- 12:02Romans, in Romans Chapter 7, The Apostle Paul, he's like that
- 12:07thing I don't want to do, I do. And that thing I do want to do,
- 12:11I don't do. Oh, wretched man that I am.
- 12:14And I think every one of us probably can relate to the fact
- 12:18that there there's there's a an arm wrestling match between good
- 12:22and evil, right versus wrong. Growing up, I had a very keen
- 12:27sense that that I was a Sinner. You know, at 21 when I got
- 12:33saved, I was going to this, I started going to a Bible study
- 12:37when I was in college and I heard the gospel.
- 12:40And anyway, I went to the the man that led the Bible study and
- 12:44and I said, I'm afraid I'm not saved.
- 12:48I'm afraid if I died, I would go to hell.
- 12:51And he shared the gospel with me.
- 12:53And Romans 323 says all have sinned and come short of the
- 12:58glory of God. And he asked me, he said, do you
- 13:01do you admit that you're a Sinner?
- 13:03I was like, Oh yeah, I mean, you didn't have to twist my arm.
- 13:06I knew I was a Sinner and I wanted to be forgiven.
- 13:10And Aaron, knowing the Lord Jesus, that the Son of God, the
- 13:15perfect sinless virgin, born righteous, the Son of God died
- 13:22on the cross and the wrath that I deserved from my sin, that
- 13:27Jesus suffered and endured that pain and that punishment for me.
- 13:32And by putting my faith in Christ, I am forgiven.
- 13:36I'm delivered from the punishment that I really did
- 13:39deserve. It changes your life forever.
- 13:43And it doesn't matter what you've done.
- 13:46Jesus still loves you. And whatever has been done to
- 13:50you, if you've been wounded, Jesus will heal you.
- 13:55Nothing else matters. I mean, there's money, career,
- 13:59all this stuff. We do the bucket list and and I
- 14:01understand that, but if you don't have Jesus, you don't have
- 14:05anything. If you do have Jesus, you've got
- 14:09it all. The banner over our men's group
- 14:13and also Millennial mustard seed is Never underestimate the power
- 14:17of love because it defeats all. Yeah, but also, you talk about
- 14:21wrestling matches. The word says that we wrestle
- 14:24not against flesh and blood, but principalities and powers.
- 14:28I think that would be a good transition into one of the
- 14:31topics that we're going to discuss, which is America's
- 14:35transgender delusion. So are we fighting against these
- 14:40people, high places in government, people that
- 14:44obviously are under a strong delusion, or do you think it's
- 14:49something deeper than that based on the work?
- 14:53I actually think transgenderism is demonic.
- 14:57I I really do, because I mean, you think about this.
- 15:01It's one thing to say, God, you can't tell me how to behave.
- 15:06The Bible says thou shalt not steal, but people steal stuff.
- 15:10The Bible says thou shalt not lie, but people tell lies.
- 15:14It it's one thing to say, God, you can't tell me how to behave,
- 15:18but transgenderism says, God, you can't even define who I am
- 15:23or what I am. God, you have no claim on my
- 15:27life whatsoever. That's really the posture, the
- 15:31attitude, and and that is demonic.
- 15:35The Bible is very clear. Human biology is very clear.
- 15:40On our radio show, I interviewed A molecular geneticist from Ohio
- 15:46State University. Her name was Doctor Georgia
- 15:49Purdum, PURDOME APHD. She's been published in medical
- 15:54journals, scientific journals, A bonafide true scientist, a
- 16:00molecular geneticist and I quote, she said there are two
- 16:05genders. There are male and female.
- 16:08Female is XX chromosome male XY, no Y, no guy.
- 16:16Now here's the thing. I've I've been at universities
- 16:19to speak and do Q&A and I'll say, look there, there is only
- 16:23male and female. Literally I've had people scream
- 16:27at me at universities during Q&A and it doesn't bother me.
- 16:31I mean, I'm I'm there to speak truth and they're like male and
- 16:35female binary. You can't impose your religion
- 16:39on us. Look, the the idea that there
- 16:42are males and females, that's not religion.
- 16:46That's just reality. You, you use the word delusion,
- 16:51and delusion is to resolutely, doggedly, adamantly believe that
- 16:57that which is false. That's a delusion.
- 17:01We are in a world that is under psychological, emotional, and
- 17:07yes, spiritual delusion. Satan has deceived so many
- 17:13people. Here's the devil's MO.
- 17:16Satan wants people to die without Jesus.
- 17:48I was on AQ and a show and somebody said don't gaze and
- 17:52transgender have the right not to be hated by Christians.
- 17:59First of all, I I want to say look true Christians don't hate
- 18:03anybody. I I don't I don't hate anybody.
- 18:07I I actually love people. I love people enough to tell the
- 18:11truth. Augustine, he was a great
- 18:15Christian thinker 1600 years ago, Augustine, brilliant guy.
- 18:20He said love is to seek the highest good of another.
- 18:26So to truly love somebody and to seek the good, to seek their
- 18:31welfare and their benefit is to tell the truth.
- 18:34And so Aaron, there's so many people.
- 18:36We don't hate anybody. We're not against anybody, but
- 18:41I, I am broken hearted when I see people, their, their mind,
- 18:46their body and even their soul is destroyed by believing that
- 18:51which is false. So yeah, this thing of telling
- 18:56the truth in the modern world, it can get kind of exciting
- 19:01because some people will love you for telling the truth and
- 19:05other people will give you the middle finger.
- 19:08And I've seen both. Absolutely.
- 19:11I do you think that we're like maybe perhaps programmed to
- 19:15obviously you know what we're created in the image of God.
- 19:18So we are literally pre programmed to love truth and
- 19:24hate lies. So this has nothing to do with
- 19:28hating anybody that's transgender, But is it OK for us
- 19:32to hate the lie of transgenderism and do something
- 19:36about it and do it out of love and truth?
- 19:40I, I think absolutely, absolutely.
- 19:43And, and we've got to understand that human beings are made in
- 19:49the image of God. You know, Matthew 25 talks about
- 19:52like if we visit somebody that is in prison or if we feed
- 19:57somebody that's hungry, and Jesus said if we give a, a cup
- 20:00of cold water in his name, it's like we've done it for him.
- 20:05So to every fellow human being, you know, we love you.
- 20:10And this is the beautiful thing. You know, even George
- 20:13Washington, America's first president, he, he wrote a little
- 20:16booklet for soldiers in the Continental Army during the
- 20:20Revolutionary War period. It was a a neat little book.
- 20:24Called on manners and civility, Manners and civility.
- 20:29And you know The funny thing, a lot of people don't know this.
- 20:31I, I interviewed a George Washington scholar.
- 20:36She, she wrote a book called The Faith of our Founding Father.
- 20:40And I'm trying to think of her name.
- 20:41It was like Susan Janelle or something like that.
- 20:45But anyway, she said that Washington, let's say the
- 20:50soldiers in the Continental Army, if they would curse at
- 20:54each other and use profanity, that he would find them, like
- 20:59they would have to pay a little fine.
- 21:01And George Washington was really big on respect and kindness
- 21:06because here's what he said. When I honor you, I'm honoring
- 21:11the one whose image you bear. See, we're made in God's image.
- 21:15And Jesus said when I give a cup of cold water to the least of
- 21:19these, it's as if you've done it for me, right?
- 21:22And George Washington understood that.
- 21:24So here's the deal. We hate lies.
- 21:28We hate falsehood, sin and darkness because that destroys
- 21:33people. But but we love our fellow human
- 21:35beings. And I mean, look, I've been
- 21:38around the block a little bit and people will say, well, you
- 21:44know, you're, you're homophobic. You, you, you're afraid of what
- 21:49you don't understand. No, I'm not afraid of anything
- 21:53or anybody. I, I fear God.
- 21:56I reverence and fear God. And then they'll say, well,
- 22:00you're being hateful, not being hateful, just like, yeah, I,
- 22:05when I was in college, I was 21 years old, partying, doing,
- 22:09doing all the, the stuff that lost college kids do.
- 22:13And I was just very thankful that people cared enough about
- 22:16me to, to they say, Alex, you're on the wrong path.
- 22:21Alex, you, you need Christ in your life.
- 22:24So we we actually, the fact that we tell unpopular truths, it's
- 22:32not hateful. It's actually love, really.
- 22:37I completely agree. You know, I'm sure you've
- 22:41followed people like Charlie Kirk where he goes to, you know,
- 22:45college campuses all across America, as you know, he would
- 22:49say that way we don't have to. But you know, just watching some
- 22:56of the videos and some of the context, a lot of those
- 22:59discussions, you know, again, what is a woman, you know, very,
- 23:03very just biblical, I don't know, pretty concrete things
- 23:09that really shouldn't even have like a discussion or any
- 23:11questions about them. Don't you think that the people
- 23:16that are arguing with him, he's handling himself very, very
- 23:19calmly and rationally and backing everything up biblically
- 23:23and being very humble, but everybody else is angry and
- 23:28projecting anger and hatred onto him.
- 23:31Is that not what the enemy does? What the adversary does is
- 23:35project lies and we're the ones that are hateful when really
- 23:39it's them and that there might be a spirit that's operating in
- 23:43them where whether it be the spirit of confusion or, you
- 23:48know, delusion or, you know, going against God's word, which
- 23:52is be fruitful and multiply. How are we supposed to do that
- 23:55if, you know, we're chopping parts off?
- 23:58I mean, like it, it gets so deep and dark.
- 24:01I can't even believe this is a thing.
- 24:03I, I, I think we're all kind of in a status to where it's just
- 24:06like, did that really happen? No different than COVID, Like,
- 24:09you know, people have COVID brain.
- 24:10People forgot that that happened.
- 24:13People forget about Lahaina, about, you know, Hurricane
- 24:18Helene, you know, about Hollywood burning to the ground.
- 24:22I mean, like what what is going on in the world today to where,
- 24:26you know, there's so much information that's being
- 24:28broadcasted and thrown at us. Do you think maybe the point is
- 24:33to literally just over suppress our minds to where we can't
- 24:38focus on one topic, that being mainly Jesus and truth?
- 24:42Exactly, exactly. And and let me say this, you
- 24:46know, for years in media, the term broadcasting was used.
- 24:53You know, there was 3/3 networks, CBSNBC and ABC and
- 24:58there was NPR. You know, there were four
- 25:00channels, right and broadcasting.
- 25:03And that's why when you know, like the the six O clock news
- 25:06was on TV, there was a guy, a very famous newscaster named
- 25:10Walter Cronkite. And you know, he would have
- 25:1375,000,000 viewers because there were only three channels.
- 25:17Now they don't really use the term broadcasting.
- 25:20They use the term narrowcasting because like, I don't know how
- 25:24many you know, this, this show you and I are doing, I mean,
- 25:29probably, you know, several 1000 people will hear this, right?
- 25:33But the, the age of just getting 30 to 50% of all the American
- 25:42ears, it's, that's over because we have so many hundreds and
- 25:46hundreds of channels. And so in a way, I mean, it's,
- 25:50it's, it's OK. The Internet has changed
- 25:52everything, you know, I mean, my goodness, you know what?
- 25:55My mother was a school teacher, Aaron, And when the Internet
- 25:59first came about, she was like, now what is this thing the, the,
- 26:03the web? I said, mom, it's like having
- 26:05the Library of Congress in your house.
- 26:08And, and I'll never forget. And my mother, she, she's in
- 26:11heaven. She was a great Christian.
- 26:13She taught school for 28 years. I showed her Wikipedia, right?
- 26:18And, and she was like, Oh my goodness, you can like, search
- 26:21for anything. I was like, yeah, Mom, anything.
- 26:24Wikipedia. Isn't it awesome?
- 26:26You know, so. But, but you're right, the
- 26:30average person, and I just read this stat a few months ago,
- 26:34Aaron, in one month you will experience as much information
- 26:43as most people did in their entire lifetime 100 years ago.
- 26:49I've got a a replica by the way. Do you mind me chasing this
- 26:53rabbit a little bit? This information over
- 26:56simulation? Go down that hole.
- 26:59So there was Sears, SEARS, Sears.
- 27:04It's not. It doesn't exist anymore, but it
- 27:06was a huge company before there was Amazon, there was Sears,
- 27:10right? So I've got a Sears catalog from
- 27:12100 years ago. It's a replica.
- 27:15It's not like real, but anyway, fascinating.
- 27:17And they sold, you know, horse and buggy and saddles and
- 27:21shovels and stuff like that. But there was a page of books
- 27:25and, and there's the Bible, right?
- 27:28And you could from Sears, you could order books.
- 27:32And it said every home needs a dozen books.
- 27:40And it said your, your family and your children, you need a
- 27:44history book, you need a recipe book.
- 27:47You need a book on English and grammar, you need a book.
- 27:53And so they said, here are the the 12 books we recommend.
- 27:57And they said additionally, there's another book and you
- 28:01need the Holy Bible. So, and this was a secular
- 28:04company. I mean, 100 years ago, it was
- 28:07the Amazon of the day, but I was thinking about this, a dozen
- 28:10books and you would know all there is to possibly know.
- 28:15And now The thing is, we are so inundated, saturated with
- 28:21information. And that's not necessarily bad,
- 28:25but I just want to challenge everybody to unplug and and read
- 28:31this book, the Holy Bible, because in the noise, the the
- 28:36noise, the unrelenting tidal wave of data every day, man, we
- 28:42are like drowning in data and content and we don't remember
- 28:47much of anything. And yet there's that still small
- 28:51voice and and I think Satan, he he doesn't care what we do.
- 28:56Maybe you could be a, you know, a drunk in the gutter, or you
- 29:00could be ACEO of a Fortune 500 company.
- 29:04Satan doesn't care as long as you live and die and leave this
- 29:08world without Jesus Christ. And so, amidst the noise, come
- 29:15back to that simple foundational truth.
- 29:18For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son,
- 29:22that whoever believes in him will not perish, but everlasting
- 29:25life. You know, a few minutes ago,
- 29:27Aaron, you mentioned Ephesians. Ephesians chapter 6, verse 12
- 29:35says we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
- 29:40principalities, powers, against the rulers of the darkness of
- 29:44this world, the spiritual wickedness in high places.
- 29:48See. Hey, look, Jesus is king, We are
- 29:51victorious in Christ, but the devil is man.
- 29:55The devil is busy. Frankly, I think because his
- 30:00time is short, I think we very likely may be alive when Jesus
- 30:05Christ returns. And so folks, it's time to have
- 30:09our house in order and to know the Lord, to be living for
- 30:13Jesus, to be helping others find Christ.
- 30:16Because one of these days, man, there's going to be a trumpet, a
- 30:20trumpet blast. Somebody asked me, check this
- 30:22out. I was in Salt Lake City, UT to
- 30:24preach and I was being interviewed by a local
- 30:26newspaper. It was not a Christian paper.
- 30:28And the guy, he said, do you, do you literally believe Christ is
- 30:32going to return? I said, I literally believe
- 30:35Christ is going to return. I, I God, God has a really good
- 30:40track record of keeping his promises 100% accuracy.
- 30:45And Christ said he is going to return one day.
- 30:47And Aaron, you and I, we may be alive when Jesus Christ comes
- 30:52back. Amen, with our hand on the plow.
- 30:57Yeah, absolutely. So another Bible verse that I
- 31:02wanted to bring up, you know, we talked about, you know, the the
- 31:05World Wide Web, the Internet. Now we've got AI, you know,
- 31:09Daniel 12/4. Now the Bible talks about this.
- 31:14So as far as testing the Spirit, it's like, yeah, no, Jesus is
- 31:18the word. He's the way, the truth and the
- 31:20life and everything that he's ever claimed or prophesied on,
- 31:25you know, has and will continue to come to pass.
- 31:30But Daniel 12 four says, but thou, O Daniel, shut up the
- 31:34words and seal the book until the time of the end.
- 31:38Many shall pass by and knowledge shall be multiplied.
- 31:42So we live in an age where everybody's talking about end
- 31:48times. You know, we've got wars, we've
- 31:50got rumors of wars, we've got pestilence, we've got famine.
- 31:54You know, we had 2020 happening. You know, that's a different
- 31:57conversation. Maybe that was just a test run.
- 32:00Who knows, right? But knowledge will multiply.
- 32:04So now we literally have these little black boxes that we carry
- 32:08around all the time and we can access any information that we
- 32:12want to at any given time as long as we have a signal.
- 32:16So what would you like to expound upon as far as that
- 32:19goes? Are are we experiencing and
- 32:22living out literally the the the prophecies of Daniel?
- 32:27Yeah, I I absolutely think so. And and let me say this too, and
- 32:31this is huge, the rebirth of the nation of Israel.
- 32:35You know, like 200 years ago in Europe, there were atheists and
- 32:39skeptics like Friedrich Nietzsche was a German atheist
- 32:44and there was Voltaire who was a French atheist.
- 32:49And one of the things they love to point out, they would say,
- 32:53OK, the Bible must be false because the Bible says in the
- 32:56Book of Revelation, Israel, this Jerusalem that there is no
- 33:00Israel, right? Since March of 70 AD Rome
- 33:06destroyed Jerusalem so and the Jewish people were dispersed all
- 33:11over the world. How can the Bible be true?
- 33:13The atheists would say because in the last days Israel is going
- 33:17to do this and that. Well, there is no such thing as
- 33:20Israel anymore. Therefore the Bible must be
- 33:22false. Fast forward to May 14, 1948,
- 33:28and by the way, it's a miracle story.
- 33:30Let let me digress. In World War One, Israel, Alma,
- 33:36I'm sorry, England almost fell to Germany in World War One.
- 33:40In fact, World World War One almost bankrupted Great Britain
- 33:48and they didn't have ammunition and Germany was about to take
- 33:52over the world. Well, there was a Jewish chemist
- 33:55at Oxford named Kaim Weitzman, and he prayed and he found a way
- 34:04to synthesize the chemical acetone synthetically, and they
- 34:09were able to make the ammunition they needed.
- 34:13And Britain successfully survived World War One.
- 34:16Well, sometime later. This is fascinating.
- 34:19I think it's fascinating. Winston Churchill, Prime
- 34:24Minister of Great Britain and Lord Balfour.
- 34:29And there is in Trafalgar Square a statue of this British General
- 34:35Balfour. They wanted to honor Kaim
- 34:39Weitzman and they they knighted him and he said this, He said,
- 34:47well if you want to honor me for synthesizing acetone and helping
- 34:54save World War One, say Britain, would you help us re establish
- 35:00the nation of Israel? Now get this.
- 35:03Lord Balfour, his great, his grandfather was a Plymouth
- 35:08Brethren preacher and his grandfather had always preached
- 35:13that before Christ returns, the nation of Israel would be
- 35:17rebuilt. And Balfour said to Churchill,
- 35:22we could actually be instruments of God if we help reestablish
- 35:26the nation of Israel because my grandfather said Israel will be
- 35:32rebuilt one day. This was in the, you know, early
- 35:3640s. Well, Churchill said, OK, Great
- 35:40Britain owns 5,000,000 acres of land in Uganda.
- 35:44We'll give it to the Jewish people.
- 35:47And so they met with the man that would ultimately be the
- 35:51first Prime Minister of Israel, David Ben Gurion.
- 35:54If you ever go to Israel, you'll land in Ben Gurion airport.
- 36:00Well, David Ben Gurion and Kime Weitzman met with Churchill and
- 36:05Balfour and Harry Truman, President Harry Truman and
- 36:10Churchill said, hey, we're going to give you 5,000,000 acres in
- 36:14Uganda and let's call it the New Jerusalem.
- 36:18And Weitzman said no, let's go to Transjordan.
- 36:23That's what they called the land of Israel and please help us
- 36:28and, and Britain had occupation there.
- 36:32It's got to be the real Jerusalem.
- 36:35And they did. Now this is going to blow your
- 36:37mind in I believe it was Syria. There was an Islamic man named
- 36:46Nadir. NADIR.
- 36:49Nowadays it's just like in the news every day that Islamic
- 36:55terrorists are killing Jews and they hate Israel.
- 36:59But it wasn't always that way. So Nadir heard that they were
- 37:04going to reestablish Israel, and he wrote a letter to Ben Gurion
- 37:09and Weitzman. And he said, we, the children of
- 37:14Ishmael, will sit down again and break bread with the children of
- 37:19Isaac. We, our brothers under Abraham,
- 37:23we welcome you back to your homeland.
- 37:26Well, about a very short time later, I'm I'm it was like 6
- 37:30months later after he wrote this letter, Nadir was poisoned and
- 37:34died. And presumably it was radical
- 37:39Muslims that that killed Nadir for his friendship with Israel.
- 37:44But here's my point about your question.
- 37:47May 14, 1948, the the Star of David was raised on a flagpole
- 37:53in Jerusalem and then President Harry Truman, the First Nation
- 38:00on earth. Truman issued this press release
- 38:04and it said the United States of America recognizes the nation of
- 38:08Israel. And I think one of the reasons
- 38:12God has blessed this nation from the colonial days, we have been
- 38:16a friend to the Jewish people. And certainly since May 14,
- 38:201948, America, except in some rare occasions like under Obama
- 38:27and Biden, in general, we've been a great friend of the
- 38:31nation of Israel and the rebirth of the nation of Israel, which
- 38:35was 77 years ago, 77 years ago this month.
- 38:42Aaron that tells me that the, the time clock of history is
- 38:48almost done really. I mean, and again, I would say
- 38:53have your house in order. Jesus is coming.
- 38:56The Jewish people are in their land.
- 38:57I was talking to Dinesh D'souza last night and just brilliant.
- 39:02He has 1° from Dartmouth and I think his other degree is maybe
- 39:06from Princeton, but 2 Ivy League schools.
- 39:09The guy's brilliant, brilliant, brilliant guy.
- 39:13And he, he said, you know, we're living in prophetic times.
- 39:19And you know, you mentioned the Daniel 12 verse about knowledge
- 39:23will increase 10 years ago. Think about 10 years ago there
- 39:30for every man, woman, boy and girl on the planet in servers,
- 39:35there was 125 terabytes of information.
- 39:41Nowadays, I, I don't know that it could even be calculated and
- 39:45the, the amount of digital content, I mean, the, the amount
- 39:49of data stored in servers is doubling just like every 90
- 39:54days. Now, half of it is bunk, you
- 39:59know, I mean, there's, there's everything from truth to lunacy.
- 40:05That's why I want to, I want to encourage people.
- 40:07I'll say this and I'll throw it back to you, Aaron.
- 40:09Folks, I know we, we read on screens.
- 40:12We're always on screens, right? There's my wife and our dog.
- 40:15Yay Angie and Esther. Listen, but you need to buy
- 40:21books and I mean book books. I'll tell you why, because books
- 40:29are immune to spin. You know, you need to buy the
- 40:34Bible, you need to buy good books.
- 40:37The other thing I would say this psychologist tell us when we are
- 40:40reading a book, the the haptics or the touching the pages,
- 40:47they're more neurons or firing. When we read a book, we remember
- 40:52more. We have better recall, better
- 40:56assimilation. And look, I'm as guilty as
- 40:59anybody. I spend hours on the Internet
- 41:02researching for all the stuff I did.
- 41:04But don't forget books, because look, if the PC thought police
- 41:11totally scrub the Internet of Truth our our really only
- 41:18recourse is going to be the good old printed page.
- 41:23But. Absolutely, yeah.
- 41:27And there's definitely something to expand upon as far as that
- 41:30goes regarding these phones and the terabytes of information
- 41:35we've got, AI literally recording everything that we do.
- 41:41I don't know, this is actually like a a very interesting topic.
- 41:45We discuss it, you know, kind of behind the scenes every now and
- 41:47again, you know, Satan, Lucifer, the dragon will present himself
- 41:54as like, you know, the Lord of Light, you know, and he's not
- 41:58omniscient or omnipresent. So like, how does he convince so
- 42:02many people that he is God? Right?
- 42:07Well, maybe it's technology, you know, there's nothing new under
- 42:11the sun. So we see all these data centers
- 42:13and stuff that are popping up all across the world.
- 42:15We have all these cell phones. There's been a push to have a
- 42:19cell phone in every single hand of every single human being on
- 42:23planet earth. Do you think maybe they're
- 42:27storing conversations, emails, text messages?
- 42:30So that way, you know, when the tribulation does happen and the
- 42:35dragon presents himself is the the Angel of light that he
- 42:41tricks people into believing that he's omniscient and
- 42:46omnipresent because he's basically been tracking and
- 42:50tracing us this entire time. No different than 2000 mules.
- 42:53I mean, we saw the technology that was being, you know, was
- 42:56able to be used with Dinesh D'souza.
- 42:59You know, we had some election shenanigans.
- 43:01We'll just leave it at that. You know, God raises up kings
- 43:05and sets them down. But 2020 didn't really seem to
- 43:12be on the up and up. They did Geo tracking.
- 43:16You know, obviously we, we saw a lot of things, you know, that
- 43:21just weren't, weren't legit. And then we were stuck with four
- 43:25years and praise God, we're in a reprieve.
- 43:28But at the same time, you know, you said something very
- 43:30profound, you know, get your house in order.
- 43:33I mean, Jesus says that he's going to create a home for us, a
- 43:37place for us, right? And my father's house, there are
- 43:39many mansions. I go to make a place for you.
- 43:43If it weren't so, I would not have told you.
- 43:46Don't you think that we should be getting our houses in order
- 43:50to receive Jesus and prepare for his return?
- 43:54Yeah, absolutely. And that that's why it's
- 43:57imperative to know the word of God so that we won't be deceived
- 44:04in in a minute. I want to reference Revelation
- 44:06chapter 13. But you, you know, everything
- 44:12for a Christian is stewardship. You know, the Bible says,
- 44:16moreover, it is required of a steward that he be found
- 44:20faithful. And you know, The thing is,
- 44:22Aaron, you know, really we, we don't really own anything.
- 44:26God entrusts stuff to us. God entrusts us with life.
- 44:31You know, praise the Lord, we're alive.
- 44:33God has and and you know, we didn't have to exist.
- 44:37God didn't have to make us. I mean, the world could have
- 44:40been just fine really without me or any of us.
- 44:45And yet God Almighty said, I'm going to give you life.
- 44:49That's really a great gift. And then our time is a gift and
- 44:55money is entrusted to us. We're to be faithful stewards,
- 44:59right? But one of the areas of
- 45:00stewardship is what I call the life of the mind really.
- 45:05And I think we're to be lifelong learners.
- 45:07And you know, I know we we all, you know, we have downtime.
- 45:11We just veg out, maybe, you know, watch TV or something like
- 45:14that. But really, I think of all
- 45:18people a Christian should be a learner.
- 45:21And 1st Corinthians 619 and 20 says that we are not our own.
- 45:27We're bought with a price. So Jesus made us, and Jesus
- 45:31redeemed us. And the most precious commodity
- 45:35in the universe, the blood of Christ, was shed for our
- 45:38redemption. The Bible Paul talked about, he
- 45:42was sold under sin. In other words, enslaved, bound,
- 45:48chained, and Jesus with his own blood.
- 45:51The price of redemption set us free, right?
- 45:55So we got to remember we're stewards.
- 45:57Now here are the areas of stewardship.
- 46:00And this is not original with me.
- 46:01It's I heard it somewhere. Time, talent, treasure,
- 46:04testimony. We all have 168 hours in a week.
- 46:08We all have some talents, some skills and abilities, and then
- 46:12we all have some money. Some have more than others, but
- 46:16we have some treasure. But we also have our influence.
- 46:20And we're to be a good steward of these things, right?
- 46:23And I think one of the big areas of stewardship that I just want
- 46:27to challenge all my fellow believers is, is to be a learner
- 46:32that way. Because, look, when the
- 46:34deceptions come along, we are not deceived.
- 46:38And the best way that you can learn and to have discernment
- 46:44and truth is to know the word of God.
- 46:48Aaron, a lot of places I go, people say, man, you sure do
- 46:51quote a lot of Bible verses. Well, yeah, because I mean, the
- 46:55the Scripture is to the Christian what nutrition is to
- 47:01the body. An athlete has to have exercise
- 47:06in nutrition. Well, that's what the word of
- 47:09God is to the believer. And if, if you're a Christian
- 47:13and, and you're not in the word and you don't know the Bible,
- 47:18you can be saved and be biblically ignorant, but you'll
- 47:22be like apathy, you know, and you'll be very vulnerable.
- 47:26Now, let me, I got to read something here.
- 47:28And this is, you know, AI and the Internet and my goodness,
- 47:32technology is getting all the more sophisticated.
- 47:35And you, we've all seen robots and holograms and, man, there's
- 47:39stuff that's just nearly supernatural, OK, The Beast, it
- 47:46says in Revelation 1313, the beast does great wonders.
- 47:52He makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight
- 47:56of men, and deceives them that dwell on the earth by means of
- 48:00those miracles which he had the power to do in the sight of the
- 48:04beast, saying to them that well on the earth that they should
- 48:07make an image to the beast which had the wound by the sword and
- 48:11did live. And he gave power of life unto
- 48:14the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both
- 48:17speak and 'cause as many as would not worship the image of
- 48:21the beast to be killed. And here's my point, all right.
- 48:26You know, they've, they've talked about trying to control
- 48:29the weather from heaven. Seriously, I'm, I'm, I'm kind of
- 48:33an Elon Musk fan. I, I in some levels respect Elon
- 48:37Musk. I really pray for him.
- 48:39I mean, if, if Elon Musk gave his life to Jesus, it would be
- 48:43almost like Saul of Tarsus getting saved.
- 48:46But there there's talk of trying to put stuff in the sky that
- 48:51would control the weather. The Bible says that during the
- 48:55tribulation period, the the beast and the image of the beast
- 49:00will cause fire to fall from heaven.
- 49:03They're the Antichrist is going to fool people into thinking
- 49:08he's God. And it says that the beast will
- 49:12do great miracles. They're not miracles, but
- 49:15they're, they're, they're fraudulent faux miracles.
- 49:20Here's what I'm trying to say. Look, so that you won't be
- 49:24deceived, believe what God says. Because Aaron, man, I could just
- 49:31see that that the image of the beast.
- 49:34Imagine you walk up to this statue of the Antichrist and it
- 49:40speaks to you. Oh, hello, Alex.
- 49:43I've known you your whole life. You were born in Greensboro, NC.
- 49:48You, you know, I mean all of your digital footprints, your
- 49:54life history is on servers everywhere.
- 49:58So people who don't know the true and living God, people who
- 50:03don't know God's truth, I could easily see how people would be
- 50:08deceived. Couldn't, couldn't you?
- 50:11I mean, the, the, the AI false God could deceive people and
- 50:18people go, OK, sure, I'll worship you folks.
- 50:23Have your house in order. Yes, and the Word, I, I love
- 50:29what you said. Having an actual Bible, a
- 50:33tangible Bible that you can read and get used to, that is your
- 50:37weapon. It's a double edged sword.
- 50:39It's the only thing that passes the test of time.
- 50:42Everything will perish. The earth and the heavens will
- 50:46pass away, but the world, or excuse me, the word, is the only
- 50:50thing that that makes it through.
- 50:53It never dies. Matthew, 2435.
- 50:56Exactly. So, yeah, we are living in a
- 50:59time where like, yeah, I mean, we can, Oh my gosh, this is like
- 51:02a whole another episode in itself.
- 51:04We can talk about geoengineering.
- 51:06We can talk about what they're putting in the water.
- 51:08We can talk about Project Bluebeam.
- 51:11We can talk about all these lying signs and wonders.
- 51:14We can talk about drones and all the fantastic displays that
- 51:18they're doing. We can talk about the phones and
- 51:22tracking and tracing saying and all these things, but I, I, I
- 51:27don't want the listeners to be fear based or anything like
- 51:31that. So again, we are protected and
- 51:33we know, we talk about pocket ROMs, you know, so those that
- 51:37are literally led by the Spirit of God that we are protected.
- 51:41That's what the word says. So it also talks about, you
- 51:46know, the the greatest exodus, so great that the previous
- 51:50exodus out of Egypt wouldn't not even be talked about anymore.
- 51:56So we're we're definitely in a time that is kind of building
- 52:01up. I think we're in the birth pangs
- 52:02right now. And you know, Matthew 24, all
- 52:05these, you know, signs in the skies, you know, blood moons,
- 52:09earthquakes happening in diverse places, pestilence, famine,
- 52:13wars, rumors of wars, people just kind of acting crazy,
- 52:17right? I mean, like, you step outside
- 52:19into the world today and it's just like what is going on with
- 52:21people? People are acting nuts.
- 52:23It's not logical, it's not rational.
- 52:26It, you know, are we thinking critically as Christians?
- 52:32You know, like how do we separate, separate ourselves
- 52:34from the world, right? Well, get back to the word think
- 52:37critically, think logical and rational.
- 52:40We're going to get to a point where, like, you can't even
- 52:42believe your own eyes. The only way to see what is real
- 52:47and what is true is to be led by the Spirit.
- 52:49What are your thoughts on that? Yeah, I mean, you know, with
- 52:53with AI and they can sample people's voices there.
- 52:59There have been some kind of funny humorous things, songs
- 53:04like for instance, Elvis, you know, Elvis was an early rock
- 53:09and roller and there's some AI generated Elvis things on
- 53:14YouTube that are like Elvis doing some rap songs or
- 53:17something like that. And I mean, I'm a pretty because
- 53:22I'm a musician. I've been playing guitar and
- 53:24I've been playing played in church yesterday in the praise
- 53:28band. I've, I've got a pretty keen ear
- 53:32and I was listening to this AI generated Elvis and I'm like my,
- 53:38this sounds like Elvis, but it, but it wasn't, it was AI
- 53:42generated. And so anyway, check this out.
- 53:46Aaron, this is going to blow your mind.
- 53:47I was doing a commercial for one of our conferences we put on and
- 53:54I, my producer gave me a, a sheet of copy to read right?
- 54:00And the time changed or something like that, I forget.
- 54:03Let's say it was 7:00 PM and I said 6:00 PM.
- 54:08So they had to fix it. So they, they had just an AI
- 54:12generated sentence that I said, but it wasn't me.
- 54:17It was computer generated. It sounded just like me.
- 54:22So here's the thing, we don't want to be deceived, you know,
- 54:28and let me just say one last thing.
- 54:30First Corinthians 69 through 13, I'm sorry, 9 through 12, you
- 54:37know, it says do not know that the unrighteous will not inherit
- 54:40the Kingdom of heaven. Do not be deceived.
- 54:43And there's a list of people. Now anybody can be saved.
- 54:47And and there's this list fornicators and murderers and
- 54:51liars. And it says as such were some of
- 54:55you were a past tense verb. So you might have been that way,
- 54:59but you're not that way now because you've turned you've
- 55:02repented come to Jesus been saved right.
- 55:05Well, in the word of God in that grocery list of those that do
- 55:11not inherit the Kingdom of heaven is the Greek word
- 55:15arsenicoite, which is homosexuals right now can, can
- 55:21gay people would be safe. Of course, anybody can be safe.
- 55:24Heterosexual promiscuity, homosexual activity, but you've
- 55:28got to turn from sin to Christ. So I was on, I got an iPhone
- 55:34about a year ago, a new phone and I'm, I'm downloading a Bible
- 55:38app and and I was like, this would be cool.
- 55:41I can search this Bible app. Well, that verse wasn't in
- 55:45there. I look the first Corinthians 69
- 55:51it didn't say homosexual. Now all that other fornicators,
- 55:56adulterers, liars, murderers, but they had left out the word
- 56:00homosexual and you can be sure I quickly deleted that app and did
- 56:06a little more searching till I found a Bible app that contained
- 56:09the whole word of God. Now here's my point.
- 56:12The digital tech overlords think they can edit the Bible.
- 56:18That's why. And the I think about this,
- 56:21Aaron, somebody who really didn't know the word of God very
- 56:24well, they would be very vulnerable to people who just
- 56:29edit the Bible as they choose. Yes, I use a lot of technology,
- 56:34but we don't want to be deceived by those that edit the Bible as
- 56:39they see fit. And by the way, while we're
- 56:42talking about the the perfect infallible word of God and we're
- 56:45not to tamper with it. Revelation 22 as as God's word
- 56:50comes to a conclusion, he says, I testify to every man who hears
- 56:56the words of the prophecy of this book.
- 56:59If any man shall add to these things, God will add to him the
- 57:04plagues written about in this book.
- 57:06And if any man shall take away from the words of this prophecy,
- 57:10God will take away his part of the tree of life.
- 57:13So regarding Scripture, we're not to add to it.
- 57:16We're not to subtract from it. And I'm not anti technology, but
- 57:22folks, you know, know the word so that if somebody comes along
- 57:28trying to change it you, you won't be vulnerable and be
- 57:31deceived. So you have a summer camp that's
- 57:34coming up. You've been doing it for 25
- 57:36years. It's in Virginia.
- 57:38You guys are breaking ground. It's going to be in the first
- 57:40week of August. Sounds like it's a Bible camp
- 57:44for kids. Yeah.
- 57:46The the website isequipretreat.org.
- 57:52Exactly. Yeah, we actually.
- 57:54And then? Yeah.
- 57:56We do 7 camps. We're going to be in Montana,
- 57:59we're going to be in Iowa, we're going to be in upstate New
- 58:02Jersey and the Hudson River Valley.
- 58:04Very beautiful. We'll be down in Georgia,
- 58:07Temple, GA. But yeah, we're in Virginia this
- 58:10summer of 25. For about 2-3 years we've been
- 58:14praying about doing a Virginia camp.
- 58:17And so we, we scoped out this really beautiful camp called
- 58:22Camp Pianka Tank. That's kind of a, a mouthful,
- 58:25but it's run by the Virginia Baptist and it's beautiful,
- 58:30recently remodeled, there's swimming and hiking and all the
- 58:35fun camp stuff. But Aaron, I mean, we, we teach
- 58:39the Bible, we have worship, we have Bible study.
- 58:42Like last summer, we had about 168 teenagers pray to accept
- 58:46Christ and then total will have about 1200 kids in camp.
- 58:52And so we are, no matter where you are in America, we're
- 58:56somewhere near you folks. And what we do, Aaron, are you
- 59:02familiar with apologetics, which is like defending the Christian
- 59:06faith? Yeah, I love apologetics.
- 59:10And there's, of course, the Bible, history, archaeology, the
- 59:15proof of Christianity. So we share the simple gospel,
- 59:21get saved, but we also share apologetics and and we say to
- 59:25the the kids in their middle school and high school, if the
- 59:29ages are middle school through high school, but we say, look,
- 59:33we want to equip you before you graduate high school and maybe
- 59:38whether you go to college or whether you go into the
- 59:40workforce. We don't want you to lose your
- 59:43faith. We want to help you understand.
- 59:46Here's where the objections are. Here's what you're going to
- 59:49hear. And we want to give you a heads
- 59:51up on what you're going to hear. But here's the other side of the
- 59:55story. Here's why Christianity is true.
- 59:59Jesus Christ is reality. The Bible is God's true word.
- 1:00:05And mom and dad, lest you think your kid is not interested and
- 1:00:09know they really are. I mean.
- 1:00:12Last summer when we had several of our kids that were high
- 1:00:15school seniors and they've been two and three and four years,
- 1:00:19that, I mean, some of the kids were crying.
- 1:00:20They're like, I'm, I'm sad I can't come back next year.
- 1:00:24And I said, well, we're going to try to start one for college
- 1:00:26students too. But the website
- 1:00:29isequipretreat.org, my own website is just my name,
- 1:00:33alexmcfarland.com. And we've got for for the
- 1:00:38grown-ups. We have a speaker series called
- 1:00:40Conversations that Matter. I would encourage people to
- 1:00:43check out Alex mcfarlane.com/conversations.
- 1:00:48And we're bringing we we book well, every major Christian
- 1:00:53speaker you've ever heard. It's been our privilege to work
- 1:00:56with like people like Lee Strobel and Ravi Zacharias and
- 1:01:01Josh McDowell and just we love to book really good speakers.
- 1:01:05This summer. I've got Charlie Kirk in an
- 1:01:09event and we just had Dinesh. We've got Lauren Green from Fox
- 1:01:15News, one really great guy. It's not really apologetics, but
- 1:01:20it's fantastic. Gary Chapman, who wrote a book
- 1:01:23called The Five Love Languages. I think Gary Chapman has
- 1:01:27probably saved more marriages than any author out there.
- 1:01:30And we've got Doctor Chapman coming to speak about building a
- 1:01:34Christian home. So anyway, my my website
- 1:01:39isalexmcfarland.com. And chances are I'm coming soon
- 1:01:43to a city near you. Barnes and Noble anywhere has my
- 1:01:47book, Amazon.com hearing more and more that like Costco and
- 1:01:51Sam's Club and Walgreens has. I wrote a book called the well,
- 1:01:57two books on questions because I'm on the radio.
- 1:02:00So I wrote 100 Bible questions and answers.
- 1:02:04Then I did a second book came out about a year ago called 100
- 1:02:08Bible Questions for Families. And the third volume in the 100
- 1:02:13questions comes out this fall, 100 Bible Questions on Prophecy
- 1:02:19and the End Times. Wow, this is very timely.
- 1:02:22Yeah, man, so the the Prophecy book and, and this is published
- 1:02:27by a very wonderful publisher called Broad St. publishing the
- 1:02:30100 questions books. They're, they're like I say,
- 1:02:34every Barnes and Noble, but The Prophecy 1 comes out about
- 1:02:38September 15th. And we, we, we spent almost two
- 1:02:44years working on this book. And you know, what's really
- 1:02:46wild, Aaron, is that so much stuff is going on in the news.
- 1:02:52For instance, archaeological discoveries proving King David,
- 1:02:58proving things about Israel. The pool of Siloam where Jesus
- 1:03:05healed people last summer was excavated and open to the
- 1:03:08public. And I actually got to go and see
- 1:03:12it before it was open to the public in Jerusalem.
- 1:03:15And so we're, we're doing this book on the fulfillment of
- 1:03:18prophecies. And we kept having to update it
- 1:03:21because there's just so much stuff.
- 1:03:24And again, hey, you know, no man knows the day or the hour only.
- 1:03:30Only God knows the day. Christ will return, but Jesus
- 1:03:34will return. Although we got to be getting
- 1:03:38close. I, I think we're, I think you
- 1:03:42and I very likely could be alive when Jesus comes back.
- 1:03:49Praise God, Yeah. No, no man knows the day or the
- 1:03:52hour. But Matthew does say that there
- 1:03:55are signs of the times, the zeitgeist, right?
- 1:04:01So all we have to do is be, you know?
- 1:04:05Be. Really led by the Spirit,
- 1:04:06Obviously. Pray for discernment, you know,
- 1:04:09ignore all these lying signs and wonders because, you know,
- 1:04:12obviously the devil was a theologian, so he knows
- 1:04:16Scripture and he's going to try to twist everything.
- 1:04:18Everything's inferred. So whether or not he's trying to
- 1:04:21mimic prophecy and, you know, obviously he's not led by the
- 1:04:25Spirit, we don't know. We just have to continue to be,
- 1:04:28you know, good stewards and pray for discernment and just focus
- 1:04:34on him and just keep going. I mean, like I said, I don't
- 1:04:37feel like I'm doing enough. You definitely are.
- 1:04:40I just want to honor you and say like, you know, I'm very, very
- 1:04:43proud of everything that you're doing.
- 1:04:44I mean, the list is long. You're doing so much and I think
- 1:04:50that's just amazing. You're you're doing it, brother.
- 1:04:54I've just been around. I'm 61.
- 1:04:57I've just been around a while. But the Lord is good, man.
- 1:05:01The Lord is good. Hey, I want to say this and, and
- 1:05:04forgive me, I've got to go, but yeah, when I was a new believer,
- 1:05:08I was 21 years old and I had a, a notebook.
- 1:05:12I was just taking notes and journaling, I guess you might
- 1:05:15call it. And I came across this the other
- 1:05:17day and I wrote this, I was 21 and it had to be from the Holy
- 1:05:22Spirit. I'm, I'm not smart enough to
- 1:05:24think of this, but I I wrote we are not saved by works, but
- 1:05:30everything we do post salvation should be a decades long thank
- 1:05:36you note back to Jesus. So we don't work.
- 1:05:40Jesus did the work on the cross, but every day we can be working
- 1:05:45on that thank you note and make our life a thank you note back
- 1:05:49to Jesus. Alex, would you like to end us
- 1:05:53in prayer? Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for
- 1:05:55this time together. Thank you so much for the the
- 1:05:58Millennial Mustard Seed show and Aaron having me on.
- 1:06:03And Lord, I just pray for one thing.
- 1:06:05We give you glory. Thank you for creating us.
- 1:06:08Thank you for loving us. Thank you for the the privilege
- 1:06:12of salvation. And Lord, I pray for everybody
- 1:06:16watching, or if there's anyone seeing this who has not come to
- 1:06:21faith yet, I pray that today they would call out to you and
- 1:06:25be born again. And then for every Christian,
- 1:06:28Father, cleanse us, fill us, send us, use us.
- 1:06:33And like, like it says in the book of Habakkuk, that one day
- 1:06:36the knowledge of the Lord will cover the earth as the waters
- 1:06:39cover the sea. Help us to contribute to that
- 1:06:43and let us live each day gratefully for you.
- 1:06:46And Lord, one more time we want to say, Jesus, we love you and
- 1:06:50thank you for loving us. In Christ's name I pray, Amen.
- 1:06:53Amen. I trusted in your word many
- 1:07:23troubled nights. All that darkness thought I lost
- 1:07:26my sight. The devil shooting shots shutter
- 1:07:29in my life, but I'm covered by the blood.
- 1:07:31So I'm going to be all right. I'm down one, but I'm up two.
- 1:07:36I've been down once. But his Love's true.
- 1:07:39I'm seeking his face, feeling the grace.
- 1:07:41I'm running this race for eternity.
- 1:07:43Space. I need more love, less tears, no
- 1:07:46more drugs, less fears. The stress reel, the test it.
- 1:07:50I'm washing over everything up in my mind.
- 1:07:53Come over. The devil has a feel you out of
- 1:07:55time. The truth of life, don't.
- 1:08:28Ever leave me, Jesus Christ. I really.
- 1:08:30Need you tonight I'm. Like Lord God.
- 1:08:32You put it on. My you're moving in and through
- 1:08:35me and you're. Erasing all the dark.
- 1:08:38You're the way, You're the truth.
- 1:08:39You're the lie. Lord God, you said you never
- 1:08:46leave me. Lord God, you said you'd always
- 1:08:49see me through. You'd always see me through.
- 1:09:07Yeah, you justified the sentence Me.
- 1:09:08I pray you won't be penalty. Sometimes I ain't remember and
- 1:09:11think about the penalty. Desires of the heart.
- 1:09:14Brought the gun and called the enmity.
- 1:09:16Thought you know the truth here, despite what we pretended to be.
- 1:09:19I'm giving you the enemy. This is what it looked like.
- 1:09:22And This is why I took Christ. The one we made of cook.
- 1:09:24Life. Forgive me for my idle words.
- 1:09:26Every word I took life. Sometimes I should have stayed
- 1:09:29here. For every step I took life.
- 1:09:30My God ain't deserved me. Chastised and mercy.
- 1:09:33Baptized and mercy. Yeah, I should have died.
- 1:09:37It's like the curses try God, the purses they catch that.
- 1:09:40My purpose here I'm still. Alive, thought God, you said you
- 1:09:44never leave me. Lord God, you said you'd always
- 1:09:47see me through. You'd always see me through.
- 1:09:54Lord God, you said you'd never leave me.
- 1:09:57Lord God, you said you'd always see me through.
- 1:10:02You'd always see me through.
