- 0:01[SPEAKER_01]: The box just had a shocking name.
- 0:04[SPEAKER_01]: One that has been brought up a few times, but one that would be a big surprise of Bucks fans to be picked in the first round, we're gonna do a deep dive into that.
- 0:13[SPEAKER_01]: Along with two, what is the perfect first round pick for the Bucks in this upcoming NFL?
- 0:19[SPEAKER_01]: Draft, there are a handful of names, but the guys here on the show, including me,
- 0:23[SPEAKER_01]: We'll make our picks there on who we think the buck should go after and the first round.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_01]: We've also got some prize picks to make.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_01]: We got the master's going on, so we're going to make some picks with them.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_01]: Also, who is the most commonly mocked draft pick for the bucks in 2026?
- 0:36[SPEAKER_01]: There's a certain name there.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_01]: One that just played any national championship, we'll talk about that.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_01]: And also to the bucks have been very busy with a handful of signings, including bringing back.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_01]: A buck and ears, Super Bowl champion will end off the show with that topic, but with me, this morning as River Wells are lead editor at buckstainedmade.com.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: And then all the way to the other side is Caleb Skinner, our veteran writer at BG, gentlemen, good morning and happy Friday to you and also all of our listeners in the chat.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely, yeah, they're going to talk drafts always on my favorite times of the year and now we're really getting to the thick of it here as it's just a few days away, you know, just about two weeks.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_02]: So let's get after them.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, two weeks yesterday was that was at two week mark, excited for it, tons of box getting put out, tons of, you know, looking at the history of drafts and things of that nature.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_00]: So as much draft content as you could possibly consume out there right now.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_00]: So it's been exciting to, you know, see where people have, you know, guys fallen where the book and years are going to be drafting what they're kind of interested in and we're going to break that.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'll down for you guys here today.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_00]: Smoke screens to talk about.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe so.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm thinking here.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's Jason Lyne doing some smoke screens.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it seems like he's done that in years past before.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: Is that the strategy from your side?
- 1:56[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, maybe it could be what we've got a handful of names of course to talk about if you're here with us on YouTube.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_01]: Throw in some comments.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_01]: Hit that like button if you have any questions or topics or any names that you guys would like us to dive even deeper into.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_01]: We most certainly will hear on the show.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: this morning, but gentlemen, let's go ahead and get started.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_01]: So this morning, there was an article that went out from ESPN, he and rapper poor along with two a lot of NFL insiders, including a very own down here in Tampa with Jenna Lane representing ESPN and they put out a piece talking about, you know, where the bucks are at going into this NFL draft, which positions actually the topic was, how many defensive players will the buck and years draft in April?
- 2:40[SPEAKER_01]: This is what
- 2:41[SPEAKER_01]: She started off with Ed Rush, her inside linebacker and cornerback are needed, and I want to be surprised to see them doubling up at corner again.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_01]: But the buckiniers are also doing a lot of work on this year's tight end class, and I've looked at a lot of interior offensive Lyman for depth, and will not pass up a best player available situation at a non-needed position.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: So I'd say as many as five defense of players will be selected, and now Jordan Reed also gave
- 3:11[SPEAKER_01]: he said defensive end and tight end are two positions that the bucks have keyed in on as round one options with tight end.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: Kenyans Cedique from the Oregon Ducks being a real possibility at number 15.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: And I know in last week's show, gentlemen, we were talking about Kenyans quite a bit.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_01]: We talked about some other offensive players as well, but specifically when we're talking about the first round,
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: This wouldn't potentially be back to back NFL drass for Jason light to go in and kind of stun everybody when we all think that they need to go after an edge rush linebacker look to the future But now it's like you got to be able to fill a void with with losing the Vante David They've got to you know make a move on the defense of cider is now Jason like an Ashok all of us once again Or is it smoke like you said, remember is it smoke?
- 4:00[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I wouldn't be surprised given that they kind of went best flavor available last year with the mechanic Booga right at the time, especially given that Chris Goblin wasn't in the ready in time for a week one, but Um, we'll get into this later, getting Kenyans to take, I don't think moves the needle too much after this team, but if they really feel like they would want to do that.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_02]: They definitely need a line back at an ad pressure badly, but at that point, a lot of the top ones will be at the board.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_02]: Very deep class, but there will be a lot of decisions to make in regards to those two positions once you get there.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_02]: If you love a guy, if you don't love a guy, what you want to trade back.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_02]: There will be some BPA talent available for you there as well, but do you really want to do that given the need for the defense?
- 4:52[SPEAKER_02]: So this is tough, tough place to be for the Buccaneers and how they handle it will be pretty interesting.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_02]: We talked about whether or not they should trade back, we talked about moving or whether or not they should trade up.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_02]: They have a lot of room to work either way, and they have a lot of decisions to make at that point, because there's a lot of options from the people you need, with the head pressure and live-acornalist events of players, and the people you don't, because it will be a valuable BPA if you think that you can still win.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, hard to disagree with River there.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think you need to go.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: I've said this multiple times here on the podcast.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think you need to go tight in that early.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_00]: I mentioned Oscar Delb.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: Last episode as well, that we were on as somebody you can get in the mid rounds there for you if you were to go get a tight in here in the NFL draft.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: So it's a really interesting spot to be.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: And you've seen a lot of
- 5:47[SPEAKER_00]: mentions of teams being active possibly on that or draft day trades too.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_00]: So like that's something that might be more prevalent in this draft because of how deep positions like line backer, specifically off-ball, edge rushers as well here in the first, you know, two rounds, pretty deep, top heavy, but deep overall classes there.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 6:07[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to be at a premium, you know, whether Ty Simpson makes it in there as well.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_00]: So there's a lot of different factors that are going to come into play when it comes down to it.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: And sitting at 15 as we ever mentioned, it's a really...
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: I don't even know what the right word is is because it's it's in a spot where you're kind of in like no man's land right like you're you're stuck in a spot and you can make it saw the pick here right but um they're they're probably better moves that you could make depending on how the board starts to fall off especially right like before you and those first top 10 picks uh somebody who covers the commanders there's been a lot of talk about that as well from their side of things um Peters even potentially being able to push back and get more
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: for them.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe you want to move up, get one of these, you know, higher potential guys or one of the guys that are more proven, more so than Kenyans and Dika and the Titan that you don't necessarily need or a guy that's more a developmental piece there in the first round.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: Interesting, you know, we're going to get into talking about some of these guys and what we think should happen, but I don't think Steak is the right move.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: I know Tom Plessero has also mentioned him this morning as well as the talk that he's had regarding him.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: So it'll be interesting to see, but back to back years going offense and a first round isn't necessarily it, especially with, you know, the cover that you currently do have in Tampa on offense.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and if you look at it right now, pain Durham, along with two you are bringing back, of course, we saw in free agency with Kate on and you would like to see where Kevin Cole could get involved more.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_01]: He seems to be more of a red zone guy for you, but we have seen him go through these training camps and these practices and look good and sharp there, but there's still some growth that he still needs to have obviously from what we're seeing from the staff because
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: then don't put him out there as much, but it made sense for Kate Otten to come back, but with how Zach Robinson likes to run his offense, he does like to have a couple tight ends out there that can do some things, and right now it feels like, you know, pain Durham is more specifically for your blocking, Devon Copa still developing.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_01]: and then Kate on is Kate on your PRTE1.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I agree, I mean, I think you need to build up on that defensive side of the ball, but it gets interesting.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'll end it off here on this topic.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think Jason like does get aggressive to go get one of those top premier past wrestlers earlier in the draft or does he do his usual and kind of hold back or even trade backwards?
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: What do you guys think?
- 8:30[SPEAKER_02]: The second one is far more likely.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_02]: I think especially given that the books need a lot of defensive death right now So if you trade back you can get an extra pick, you know, maybe day two or late a three and then you can use that to help shore up that depth there He's really not a fan of giving out capital At all so I don't think you would trade up.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_02]: You never know though, and he looks to tell you that you never know I'm open to do anything but he has really done that
- 8:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, if he does trade up and he actually ended up before, but it would be it's usually very, you know, short bursts and increments.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_02]: So it's possible that he could trade up a few spots, but going all the way up is not usually his his company.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_00]: It seems I think this is a portion of it where it's out of the podcast and what we're talking about here is.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: They're in a, in a precarious situation obviously, and I think the move here in this draft in particular in the way that I think that the draft what is going to fall is that you're going to want quantity of equality.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: If you are going to give a draft capital, you're going to want to be in those first three picks and those guys aren't moving right now, you know, those teams that are in those positions are moving because.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_00]: What else after that are you really looking at you're gonna be looking at guys that could potentially be bus or potentially be you know game game changes for you But that's pretty much this whole top, you know class when it comes to the defense whether you're looking at corner back linebacker or edge rusher's right.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_00]: They're all you know very top heavy
- 10:02[SPEAKER_00]: and what they're able to do, deep, but still a very top heavy.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: So I think you want to get more picks here.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_00]: Be able to give yourself some options at different positions as well because you do have, you know, you can still get undrafted guys in here.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_00]: We saw some of those undrafted guys be able to make the roster.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_00]: You know, look at Christian Izzy and what he was able to do.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to have to make cuts one way or another and you just brought in two more corners, some other defensive line depth here that will get too later.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: But in this position where you are going to want more players.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_00]: The buck and years haven't shown that they're not going to go get the most quality of pieces, right?
- 10:36[SPEAKER_00]: So continue that here into the NFL draft, go get guys that are going to be good solid level floors, but have the potential to be even bigger.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that
- 10:50[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go into some of these picks, gentlemen, who we think are the best first round draft picks before that, though.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna go ahead and name off a few outlets, some names, some incitors, analysts, however you wanna name it, that have been linking some of these to the bucks in the first round.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_01]: We've got a key mezzador from Miami.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_01]: We've got Kendrick Falca, another player from the SEC, coming from Auburn, Dremon McCoy, a Tennessee corner back there.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: Kenyan City, because we were just speaking about from Oregon, CJ Allen, a linebacker from Georgia.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_01]: This one's actually coming from CBS Sports analyst Pete Prisco.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_01]: You got cashiest howl.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_01]: This is from uh, he's from Texas A&M off the edge.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_01]: This is from the draft network.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_01]: Specifically, also got Anthony Hill Jr. linebacker from
- 11:36[SPEAKER_01]: Texas, a handful of draft boards have been putting them up there, but yeah, I mean, a handful of lot of names of a Kement Mezzodore.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_01]: This is from CBS Sports.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_01]: You got Kendrick Fault from Auburn.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_01]: And like I said, around McCoy.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_01]: What, what, what, which feels good to you.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, I'm going to fall.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, right here.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to be right here.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, thank you.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_02]: Now, we'll talk more about this.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_02]: And we talk more about Mesodore, which we will later in the show.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_02]: I am not a fan of a chemist or so that is an option for them probably the biggest option, but not a fan of him, not a fan of cosmic folk either.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_02]: He kind of plays an in-between role right now is way, he kind of projects a little bit more inside perhaps, but even if he goes outside and plays adversaries a very raw prospect and I don't know if the books have the wherewithal to be able to
- 12:36[SPEAKER_02]: Um, honestly, I like trading back, man, I really do.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_02]: We talk about this on our previous show, but I think there's a lot of really good talent.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_02]: You can get at Eddresher and linebacker down at the bottom of the round.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_02]: I particularly like from Oklahoma, Armace and Thomas is an Eddresher.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not alone.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_02]: He's got a lot of believers out there, so I'm not going to be a hot take, but uh,
- 12:59[SPEAKER_02]: guys like that if you want to go at 15 I like corner you know I do so guys like I don't know if man said a lane's probably going to fall to 15 but if he does I would not mind that at all you know guys I go and coy and then people who can play outside they don't need a corner right so that's something to keep in mind as well but I wouldn't mind that I think there's a lot of good value for edge rusher down at the bottom of the round I think trading down with the best way but
- 13:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: I don't disagree with River at all.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_00]: I'm in the same boat.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_00]: I've never been a big cultured fog fan.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_00]: I know like coming out of high school, highly counted.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_00]: This was to be a freaking nature and never really developed into the player that, you know, warranted his five star rating coming out.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the state, yeah, Florida state was pursuing him hard.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_01]: Pretty heavy.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_00]: We had a, you know, like Auburn and one of the, one of the
- 13:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, one of the usual times four state comes in at number two.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and some of those big five star recruiting battles So we knew we knew about Kendrick Falk and I'm I'm I'm I don't really in what can really sell me much That's just what it is, and so like I'm not a huge fan of them I know he's been you know numerous mocks towards or for the box there at 15 and again as it were I like it better I think
- 14:16[SPEAKER_00]: funny enough Max Crosby went on some show and has some pretty, you know, great words and you know, great thoughts on, on a keen measured war and what he was able to do and the type of player is and, you know, his abilities off the edge, which are great, like, yes, but then again, you do have to, you know, realize to at the same time, like, measured war.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_00]: started West Virginia transferred to Miami and he's a much louder player than everybody else in the draft, right?
- 14:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's like 25.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_00]: 25, hopefully 26 by the time, I believe 26 years old by the time the season gets underway.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_00]: So that's an interesting aspect you got to take into it.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_00]: Like he didn't see that production level from him until he made it to Miami where he had Ruben Bane coming off of the other side.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_00]: And that's fine, you know, maybe he was just a late bloomer and that's okay.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_02]: Also dealing with a foot injury as well, keep that in mind too.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_02]: So he's an age and injury history.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_02]: Don't really add up.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_00]: And so again, I'm right here with River.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: Are you looking at my design on the guy at a Mizzou?
- 15:18[SPEAKER_00]: You know, Armace and has been thrown around a bit.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_00]: Like there's guys out there that you'll be able to get, you know, later in the first round early second round if you made, you know, so be it.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_00]: That I like a little bit more and I think ultimately they should trade back right like there's no reason for you to try to there's no reason for you to sit at 15 unless your guy falls to I like the corner back picks to even though they didn't bring in some guys And for you, you see recently your mod McCoy kind of a riser right now diving talked about a lot, you know
- 15:49[SPEAKER_00]: What is an A.B.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_00]: on Torel, you have to corner out of Clemson, obviously he's been dealing with some injuries of his own that have been kind of had a watchful eye over top of him, but somebody else you could trade back and be able to get and get draft capital for as well.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_00]: If Mansour is there at 15 don't even question it, you just go ahead and draft him, you're not going to come around a guy like that at 15 very often in my opinion.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: But a lot of these guys aren't blowing me away with where the bucks currently sit, right?
- 16:17[SPEAKER_00]: So that's kind of the problem that they find themselves in.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_02]: I'd like to quickly shout out, J.C. Allen there in my comments, or more guys here at Fox Game Day.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, definitely like Vega, I haven't as well, you know, inside interior linemen, definitely really big Mueller in the run game.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_02]: I think the bucks could use one like that, so it would not be a post, probably the only offensive pick, or I'd be like, yeah, you know, I like that, otherwise, not a big fan of the potential
- 16:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, going, uh, so really, who would you guys pick right now out of out of your list, your personal list, not going out of any NFL analyst?
- 17:01[SPEAKER_00]: Man, we, you go first channel because I'm gonna try to pick that.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_00]: But if we're going off what we're going to do, I'm trading back.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not taking a week, but if I, if I were to take a week, if I had to take a pick at 15, I would probably go measured or because it's the safe play, you know, it's a high floor.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you don't really know what the ceiling is type of player and, you know, maybe he messes well with when Elijah can't see's back in the line up, he's in there and you got y'all on the other side.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_00]: You stay healthy and things come across, David Walker takes that next step, you get hit them in a rotation with one another and, you know, been bam well, like something works out.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_00]: So if I were first.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_00]: worse to take at 15.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_00]: I would probably go mess door because he's probably going to be a guy that's around at this point now.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_00]: If Rubin Bane were to be around here at 15, I would hop at the opportunity to take him.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_00]: He's kind of in that man's sword range for me despite the short arms.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_00]: I do like being a lot.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_00]: I do like what is production level was at Miami.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_00]: I like Just he's all about ball.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: That's that's a type of player.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_00]: I want that should be a type of player that's on ball Absolutely loves dude doesn't cut his throw he doesn't you know Get braids he doesn't do anything.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_00]: He just goes out there and plays ball has a great great bend off of the edge So if being makes it to 15 that's another guy like a man sore that I said you go ahead and snatch up But I don't think Kobe there, so I think you go with a method or if I had to pay
- 18:31[SPEAKER_02]: if you can't have a big as they are to take him I like my coi I'm just not really a big fan of mezzodor but we'll see what happens there I like I say with Caleb I would rather trade back
- 18:45[SPEAKER_02]: I'd rather trade back for guys like Armace and Thomas, if you want production who's not 25 years old Malachi Lawrence is also out there as well, right, so those are also other options for you at edge rusher, the one thing I will say linebacker awful linebacker in the first round as I know go for me.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_02]: I think the position of value there is it's very poor and you can get some quality players later on at that position So I wouldn't want to spend a first round pick on it off all lineback and I'd include people like sunny styles Yeah, so we'll see what happens with how the Players fall, but there's a quick and people I like more than than the measured or and I would be willing to take them over that
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, with health things of kind of trick what outer, come about, or the rumblings that we have heard through social media, obviously, and things that that nature is that.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_00]: Like, these are the two areas, the three-ish areas of the book and years are really looking for, early on, I don't know, you know, type in, coming in, whatever, whatever, whiter fevers, whatever, maybe, but we got four of my opinion, where it's usually edge line-backer corner right now for the book and years, right?
- 19:58[SPEAKER_00]: with the off ball line backer situation.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_00]: It is a bit intriguing because Sunny Styles is one of those players that is kind of that versatile.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_02]: And he's going to go.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to go.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_02]: He's not going to be even close to 15.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_00]: And that's my thing too.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_00]: Or else I would take him.
- 20:15[SPEAKER_00]: You know, if you were there 15, he's probably another one of those guys that you would take at 15, but he's not going to be there.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_00]: So who else are you going to take?
- 20:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_01]: So where it makes it very interesting, so we did put on an article where you wrote this and the most commonly mocked player so far, or just a little bit away from the draft, but the one you've rounded up as a keen measure door and you have your pros and cons and always spoken on them just a little bit, but you know the entries there to both feet, it's not just one foot, but it's both feet.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: that he's had issues with that belief.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_01]: It was torn ligaments and both feet, yes.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_01]: But for longevity of that size to coming off the edge and everything that makes it concerning, of course, shorter, kind of shorter arms.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_01]: Then in the then prototypical elite edge russia would usually have, but that high motor, the technical ability, the experience that he has as well.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_01]: and how he could fit into Todd Volz's defense is attractive.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure too, you know, the buck's defense and such, but there are pros and certainly cons, but that is the most commonly mocked player is a keen mezzodor and you just got to wonder how that matches off the other side of that is your pick and that ends up happening.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_01]: you know, yaya diabi from the other side of the ball.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's you're are you who who almost feels at even keel to me.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we wouldn't be able to tell this until we get into an actual game, but you're not seeing where Kimez Dora is that elite past Russia and then that helps, you know, helps on the other side of yaya diabi.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm saying less yaya diabi makes another
- 21:53[SPEAKER_01]: humongous jump right there you're looking for someone that is, you know, at a higher caliber of talent.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_01]: I think at least getting to the quarterback getting to the sacks than yaya diabi is currently.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, this is a tough one with Mesodor, because Leipzig mentioned very old for a prospect.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_02]: He has some injury history there.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_02]: Knows him a bay went to high school and clear water.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_02]: So that's kind of fun.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_01]: There you go.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the thing about Mesodore is that when you're that old and you have a great season like he did and he uses finesse very well against rusher's right we've seen a lot of physical talent there.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_02]: He's got a really high motor, Mesodore as one of the things I'm most impressed with him, but not the biggest physical specimen for the NFL as far as length as far as size and there's always a thing in your head and this isn't work for every prospect is this old they've been a plenty of older prospects and multiple positions who worked out very well.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_02]: uh, probably at quarterback, you know, Joe Burro, uh, was a fairly old quarterback Frostfucked ended up hitting immediately.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, Bo Nix looks pretty decent.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_02]: So far in his two years, um, yet the wonder, are you really dominating toward the end of your career as a college player?
- 23:04[SPEAKER_02]: Or are you just 25?
- 23:06[SPEAKER_02]: And everyone has experienced, um, you played at that point six years of football, uh, being in and out of the, of the, of the, of the, of the
- 23:17[SPEAKER_02]: a physical freak like Masador.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_02]: I think there's a lot of questions on this could be a high floor guy like everybody saying like like comes in and he gets a lot of x and and he shows a experience or he was outclassing people way younger than him with less experience he gets to the NFL and so things that will bother him.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_02]: So a lot of interesting questions to be have at Masador, I think he has shown, like I said, to have some really good fast rushing skills, he's shown to have a really high motor and constantly be kicking, but playing alongside Ruben Bane, you know, being as old as he was.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_02]: You know, the injury history, there's a lot of interesting things to look at with him.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_02]: So I am curious if the books like him a lot, or if they're going to take those things into consideration.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't think any bucketier's fans are going to be mad
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: with a guy coming in that's going to be able to provide you with seven eight sacks if that's the case right if that's the case like I'm not going to be mad right I'm not going to be mad if a guy comes in seven eight sacks you get five six seven out of the other side like fantastic this is awesome like this is what we're working with great it's definitely an improvement from where we have been the problem arises where you're going to get that production for
- 24:44[SPEAKER_00]: this assumed production for a minute amount of time.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we're already talking about edge russures like Max Crosby, Trey Hendrickson being 29, 30 years old and at the end, like nearing the end of their NFL careers or not.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_02]: That would be the best of our first, definitely Missour's first contract.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_00]: But that would be his first contract, right?
- 25:05[SPEAKER_00]: And so then what are you gonna do?
- 25:07[SPEAKER_00]: Like if the production's still there, then you have to pay him or get him walk or you're gonna have to be like,
- 25:13[SPEAKER_00]: You know, either we're going to have to cut bait, let you walk, or you're not producing enough in, you know, see, like that's, you're just putting yourself in a very similar situation that you've been in, I don't think it changes a whole lot now, it becomes an and he's a 12-plus dot guy sick to me.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_00]: He comes in and is able to be a 12-sat guy, which I don't think he is.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_00]: If he is able to do that, then yeah, you're getting your money's worth because are you going to really be excited about spending a first round pick on a guy who gets seven sacks.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_02]: 12 socks would be a home run.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_00]: Right, exactly, but if you're picking up 15 because you missed a playoff, I want a home run guy, like you're picking up in the first half of all NFL teams, right?
- 25:54[SPEAKER_00]: So am I getting what, like, the true bank for my buck?
- 25:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, especially when I'm only getting maybe three to four years out of it.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_00]: That's a big concern for me, and it's not something that I'm going to jump at to be like, yeah, this is the guy that I want to team.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_00]: I'll be it.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_00]: I loved his motor at my, I mean, I mean, you saw him in the playoffs.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_02]: Him and that's the most impressive thing.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_00]: And he's barely taking off the field.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_00]: And they're chasing shoes from around.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_00]: They were chasing around with a changeless for like years during that semi-final game.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_00]: Like years and feel like they were just all game having a chasing side by side.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah, if you were doing a fantastic job at being able to do that, you know, they were lucky to win that game because he was making some incredible plays with his legs and his arm.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_00]: But a lot of that had the reason he had to do that was because of one as a door more so Mezzodor than bang was able to do in that game and his coach at Miami was Jason Taylor So right which he has high remarks form to and I get it the guys good Like I'm not trying to diminish his abilities as a as a adressor or whatever He's also decent against the run, too, but like There's little factors that come into play here that are you willing to give up a first round peg for him to me?
- 27:07[SPEAKER_01]: Um, let me go through some of the comments in here.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate everybody coming in and the chat.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_01]: Tampa guy 63 70 is saying trade down pick up a third round pick and get a defensive end.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_01]: Don't mess with the 26 year old rookies.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of sunny styles, chatter, and here, JC's saying, the thing with sedic is, I think the bucks might just say, effort and make this offense elite and say a defense is more than a one year fix.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_01]: Let's make our offense unstoppable.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_02]: Paging the Cincinnati Bengals of the National.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to join the Bengals of the bucks, or ahead of them, and I'll let it work for them.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_00]: How's that done, Jorge?
- 27:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to talk about getting somebody fired, that's how you get somebody fired.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that might, that could be the plan.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_02]: And so, you know, to do equal to be a red zone threat that they don't have of my ovens right now, right?
- 27:57[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, there there would be benefits to bring him on again, assuming everything translates at the end of the level, but the question with him is, do you think the boss can afford to pick a BPA at 15 if you think the answer's no, and I don't think it is, then that would be rough if you think it is, and to be fair, general managers
- 28:18[SPEAKER_02]: every time.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_02]: That's going to be the moment that we got to get there.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_02]: That's what we're about.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_02]: There you go.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_02]: That would be it.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_02]: That would be it.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_02]: But I think with how much they really need on the fans.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_02]: That would be a bit of a missed it.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_00]: But in and then again, if you really want that offensive weapon.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_00]: Why not go get more draft picks?
- 28:37[SPEAKER_00]: Why not get back and get more draft picks?
- 28:39[SPEAKER_00]: Or you can get a wide receiver that's still in this area of, you know, player, maybe not maybe it ends out of Austin, maybe a tad of hers in day two or something like that.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_00]: Like, if you're gonna eat that, go do that.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_00]: Like, don't, don't leap at the first opportunity.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_00]: Like, there's no point in doing so.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think this front office would do that, but they surprised me in the past.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_01]: they have.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you don't technically have to go after another Mike Evans.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_01]: I know that's like the easy thing for Mox to put out there that you got to find some that can take care of business for you in the run.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_01]: Not easy.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_01]: Now, not easy.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_01]: I still need to target some that beat.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_01]: Do you need to do it in the first round?
- 29:21[SPEAKER_01]: That thing that's where Caleb's, you know, explained in there to everybody that that doesn't necessarily need to be the case for you.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_01]: You can go find other targets that can help you do that.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, I mean, I, not that he's a wide receiver, but Kenneth Gainwell.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's going to be such a great addition in the red zone and what you could do.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I, I'm a Steelers fan.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_01]: I watch how much he's utilized in that red zone.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_01]: I usually get the ball to Jalen Ward, Jalen Ward, and then you see kind of Gainwell and that he takes to the end zone for it to finish off that drive.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_01]: So I think he's going to be a big player in that, but you do need to find someone in the literacy room that can do that for you.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe Jalen McMillan.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: You just need a ex though that can take on those one-on-ones and the reds on here's Buck near Bryce saying I think there's a chance of player like down's delaying Bane falls to us.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_01]: We see it every year, usually a player falls farther than consensus.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_01]: It happened with Kyle Hamilton to the Ravens a few years ago.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_00]: David, that would be nice if Bane fell right.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_00]: David Carter, we felt to the Eagles too.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there's going to be players with some concerns that fall.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_02]: I think Zanya is one of the people to watch from Mizu, a lot of character reflects on him that might be a guy that ends up falling pretty far.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_02]: If you want to take a chance on that, Jason Light tends to say he doesn't like to take a chance on people like that.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but, you know, you'll never know.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, I think tailed down has like a issue as a returner to issue issue.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_00]: We're genitive ACL.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so that's not going down great, but down to generational safety projects.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't want to weigh that.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's other players that I've had that to and they fact, you know, saw a career.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm for sure.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, down is an excellent daily prospects.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, hard to tell until draft day hits, but there might be so one of 15 don't fit to be there and then people will want to pick up and they don't, so they're all the reads of the bill, so it'll be always fun to see how that checks out.
- 31:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't think either of those three really are guys that I foresee falling in this draft and, you know, we do see it, you know, every year Kyle Hamilton's a wild one.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why that ever happened.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_00]: Um, that's weird.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but crazy with that being said, like who knows.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we we've seen that they've been really stuff with the photographer come out on social media.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_00]: That's starting to be brought up a little bit in these circles of scouting circles and things that it's your butt.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_00]: I really don't see him falling anywhere near to that.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_00]: So again, I'm going to go back to what I said at the beginning.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_00]: It really depends on what's going to happen in these first 10 picks.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_00]: Because you don't know what the commanders are going to do.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_00]: And then seven through 10 is particularly that area where you're going to be like, OK, these are where you're going to start to see teams like move up or down.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_00]: And that's going to be kind of the determining factor of what happens when Tampa Bay comes on the clock.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_01]: I got to bring this up here though, because I know the reason why I are not that one, but where to go.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's this one.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, we know why because guess who Sunny Styles is?
- 32:19[SPEAKER_02]: Who does Sunny Styles?
- 32:21[SPEAKER_01]: But bro, bro, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a boy, he's a
- 32:33[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't like bokeh, I don't
- 32:55[SPEAKER_02]: running backs are like the least important positionally offense right like you can replace them easy they come in and out you know the way they're paid showcase their production value what position do you think that is for the defense?
- 33:08[SPEAKER_02]: what's the running back of defense?
- 33:10[SPEAKER_02]: Because in my mind, it's off all I'm backer, right?
- 33:15[SPEAKER_02]: The difference between a truly elite off all I'm backer and then like a skill gap is not that big.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_02]: I think in the NFL, there are super stars like Fred Warner and then everybody else.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_02]: And if you think you're going to get a fed Warner or study style, that's great.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_02]: But I think off all
- 33:36[SPEAKER_02]: averaged out position at this point where really good ones really bad ones can affect the game, but the sling on that I think is less in the other position.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_02]: So corners I feel are more valuable in the essence that like a great.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_02]: Running back and change the game more than a great corner, but a bad corner can change the game way more than a bad on him back.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_02]: So it's off all linebackers and points of burden.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_01]: Hard grades, the bucks that came out of nowhere.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_02]: You can see that for sure.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_02]: The books really need an off-alarm background, not diminishing how important that is, especially in a top, both defense or actually managed a little bit more than the other defense of systems, but I think off-alarm background today's day and age, I guess, in the first round, not great positional value at all.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_02]: Similar, I feel a little running back, and running back in the first round, given the money to pay them, I think it's kind of crazy.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_02]: Think about how much money action Johnty is making,
- 34:38[SPEAKER_02]: outside of that.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_02]: Dependent on the office of line.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_02]: Dependent on the scheme.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's tough.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_02]: So that's the only reason why I would shy away from some of your styles.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_02]: Really high.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to be a top by pick.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_02]: I think.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_02]: That's pretty crazy.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, think about it too.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they don't these lineback.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_00]: These off all linebackers aren't built like they're in 2012 anymore, right?
- 34:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like it was it was such a huge
- 35:00[SPEAKER_02]: Like the front seven has become so important.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's a such a position like it was a position positional shift right like back then Where you were like oh gosh like we need a guy you cover side right in the side line But also can fill a hole but also can make plays but also as high IQ Great, so we need a guy who can do it all.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_00]: You got that like that era was just nothing but those guys Right, and like that's what you wanted.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of shifted a little bit more like you either want a guy
- 35:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like a sonny style, so you're still kind of like that.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_00]: that mode right like he's that mode but the rest of these guys you don't really see them fitting that mode it's like one or the other you know your special tips at this um so it is interesting which comes back to the running back thing is like running back you're either a guy who's between the tackles or outside the tackles or you're a guy who's a past-cutting back a change of pace back or you're a guy like a sake on barkley um a you know uh Jeremiah love probably about to be the
- 36:02[SPEAKER_00]: Unless you're one of those guys, like you're not going to get the what you expect out of adult, right?
- 36:08[SPEAKER_00]: Like so it's an interesting area to be in and I don't like I agree with River I agree with everybody else that Sunny Styles will probably be gone at this point.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_00]: If he is there you take him, but other than that, no need to reach for for a off-board linebacker at 15.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, if you if you trade back
- 36:24[SPEAKER_00]: and you in C.J.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_00]: Allen sitting there late in the first round and that's where you end up.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_00]: Sure, go ahead, do it.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_00]: But like, you don't need to reach for any of those guys.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, no.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_01]: No, I do need to reach into gentlemen now.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_01]: or some price picks, picks, gentlemen, price picks, shout out the price picks.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_01]: I know we didn't get to make some picks on our last show last week, but this time we've got it on the screen.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_01]: We get to see the phone live and it's a master's week.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's not, it's like the perfect time to jump into it with price picks.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_01]: If you guys use code HMA, it's down below river right there.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_01]: If you play five, get fit, get 50 instantly.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_01]: I make sure you download the app to using code HMA.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_01]: If you guys want to go check it out, but price fix is awesome.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_01]: We've been using it.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_01]: We also do it over there at Null Game Day with here the spear that show over there.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_01]: So we've been rocking to it some NBA, but these guys on here, they watch the masters like I do as well.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_01]: So I'd have to be perfect if I get this back on the screen.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_01]: But gentlemen, what do we feel like here?
- 37:25[SPEAKER_01]: Because it's a Rory Start Off Hot, man.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_01]: We start off hot.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_01]: We click on him.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_01]: He went 67 yesterday starting on Thursday.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_01]: six seven six seven throw it up river throw it up.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_01]: Um do we do we say less here on on the pick for Rory to add to our Add to our entry.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_01]: You're on strokes for what for what specifically.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're on strokes.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_00]: What are we?
- 37:52[SPEAKER_00]: Where are we looking at here 70 I'm thinking yeah, I'm thinking.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I think he's better in 71.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's really hot right now.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I definitely go less
- 38:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's what I'm feeling is less there because we can they also do allow for you could go actually make team picks.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_02]: We'll probably do that in next week's episode, but specifically for this I thought we just throw in a couple of picks for Yeah, the whole question of Roy Macalroy was going to be whether once he got that master's win, he got the monkey up his back Was he going to just kind of coast the rest of the time and receive was it going to unlock him basically and get that complete way out of his shoulders and man
- 38:27[SPEAKER_00]: After that round yesterday, I think we're looking at the ladder there, so he's playing like he has no pressure in the world and I don't think I took that into account when I was looking at, you know, the field and everything and I was like, you know, you weren't the last year, you know, he hasn't.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_02]: I think that was a that was a viable thing.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he hasn't played in like a month.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_00]: You know, he's been whatever but I mean he's looking sharp early and yeah, I like the under there.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_00]: The under.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_00]: Less.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_01]: There we go.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_01]: Is the.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_01]: In there.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_01]: What I love about price fix they've also you can go down.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_01]: I call it shaving going the barbershop and shaving it down a little bit.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_01]: You can also do that on birdies or better.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_01]: You can also go over there.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_01]: They have all kinds of things that you can do, but we're just going to stick simple there.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_01]: We'll stick to the strokes and we'll go less on that at 71. Who else?
- 39:15[SPEAKER_01]: Let's add two other players in this.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_01]: Man, Bryce and had a really rough start.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_02]: Give me a more.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_01]: You think so?
- 39:24[SPEAKER_01]: It goes back to back days on it.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_02]: 71 has that's pretty high but um i mean it was shambalic yesterday and i think recently it's a cap of fire where you know once he gets in the headspace he's in the headspace right so uh it is possible he could come running back i wouldn't uh be surprised but i think after a really tough day like that it it's hard to bounce back for him so i would go more.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to go under, I think it is a bounceback for Bryson, you know, I'll let Logan be too highbreaker there, but I think that round one, he's a little bit distracted coming off that, you know, the par three challenge with Kevin Hart at his caddy.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_00]: By the way, a master's doesn't need the waste management open treatment.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I didn't like all that stuff yesterday.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_00]: No need for that, even the day before that.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_00]: It was Wednesday, yeah.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_00]: Wednesday.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_00]: We don't need all that at the master's.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_00]: So let's just quit that and say, you know, this was not what we needed and get back to the regular par three contests and how that's supposed to go with families and things.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like who distracted how do I go and on you know the YouTube thing whatever but I think he's gonna get back in the shape here And I like him I like taking the list there.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think you'll probably shoot like a 7071 At worst the 72 which is a par So I kind of what they're sitting at here.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_00]: They expect a little bit of a bounce back from and two and I think you'll Okay, I think he'll just do you know one stroke enough to be able to get there
- 40:48[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I didn't like all the Kevin Hart stuff like I love Kevin Hart Everybody has their different types of three colors.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_02]: Man, it's the part of that.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't need it.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_01]: I don't need it.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want it They're like what is happening with all these like tick tocks we're trying to get all these short little clips on everything I don't need all that and I think Twitter at least show them yes or the last few days.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_02]: That's not the right move I mean, Bryce and we're to win the masters the content would be crazy.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my goodness.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_01]: I did a lot of charts
- 41:19[SPEAKER_01]: So here's a deal on my here the spear picks.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_01]: I had to make some for our clipped-out videos I did do Bryson to jump out to win the masters.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_01]: So I didn't help for a whole ton for my start there But I think he does bounce back the weather's looking good, right?
- 41:36[SPEAKER_01]: We got a weather check anybody weather's looking good.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_01]: Shack and someone tell us what I got just looking like I think it's gorgeous all weekend, right?
- 41:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there's any, you know, whether it's supposed to be 68 today and then so I'll be a High of 77 today high of 84 Saturday high of 80s on the sunny all-time Parties are oh, this is a birdies are better match.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_01]: We already got Roy on that, but man I know you could do all of this so we can't do another rowy pick, but we want anything on Patrick Reed because he's having a nice start as well
- 42:09[SPEAKER_02]: He had a great master's last year as well for all of Patrick Rees, detractors of which they're in.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_02]: And he has been playing, he's playing great golf right now.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_02]: So I think it's hard to bet against him at the moment.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_02]: Really great time, and I'll go to the last year, have a good time this year, I think he's playing the golfer now.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_01]: Would we do strokes or do you guys want to do birdies right here?
- 42:34[SPEAKER_00]: Because this seems like a birdie is a hell hard man We could keep they're struggling to put out there So far morning.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_00]: I think it'll be interesting to see oh, they are.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_02]: Okay He needs four 72 right now.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think I'll last on the strokes
- 42:53[SPEAKER_01]: And we got kicked.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, stream art says, nope, you don't get to make any better.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_01]: We think more on this.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_01]: We think one phrase we're seeing.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think it's four.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's four.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you've got to take into account, too.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_00]: This is like,
- 43:08[SPEAKER_00]: Patrick reads home course like this is like the run he's he's he's growing like he's grown up playing this course like yes That's right right all the time so he always plays it extremely well You know there's our three picks which is which is awesome and then I like it No, I'll just throw out my like some guys to watch obviously I'm gonna be following our guys our guide Brooks He's kind of looking good ever since he's his return to the PGA tour
- 43:33[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but the guy I like to win it all is, uh, Zander Schoffley.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_00]: He's looking extremely comfortable, um, and hit what his stuff is right now.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_00]: Um, looks really good.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_00]: And maybe even, even throw in speed, um, have an incredible shot from behind one of the magnolia trees yesterday, um, taking it up and down for porn.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_00]: So just do endurance beat things, um, as we know at the master's.
- 43:56[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, there's two guys that I, that I do like.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_02]: I will brag for one second and then we'll get back to books football.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_02]: I have correctly picked the master's winner three of the last five years.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_02]: The only time I've ever lost was to Scotty Schaffler.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I got you.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_02]: So this year with a really crazy oddball pick first master's Chris got her up.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_02]: He is currently T 11.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_02]: He's four strokes back.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_02]: I'm all in.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_01]: Watch out.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_02]: What's your best game on the next week?
- 44:26[SPEAKER_02]: Augusta favors the long driver.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_02]: But we'll see what happens.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_01]: I like it.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_01]: I like it.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_01]: Well, gentlemen, here's our picks right here from price picks.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to do the power play right here.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_01]: We feel really strongly about these three that we have selected on the screen for you guys.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, the link is down in the description below.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_01]: Shot the price picks.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_01]: Use code HMA if your new user coming in.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's the number one sports picks app in America, and we appreciate them a whole ton for sponsoring this episode of.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_01]: Here are the cannons.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_01]: Now gentlemen, let's get back to our duties here and let's talk about some new signings that the bucks have made.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_01]: They've been very busy in the last week or so.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_01]: I'll go through and start naming off a handful of these and we can jump into whoever we want to.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_01]: But let's start off with Rechem, Nunez, Rochez.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_01]: As we know, we all know that name, Mr. Nacho himself.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_01]: He's back.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_01]: He won a super bowl.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_01]: with the box too, but he's signing on a one-year deal.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_01]: There are some good depths of health.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_01]: They're behind Vida, Mr. Vaya.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just excited for those locker room visits.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_00]: Even though I won't be there anymore.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_00]: I see them in person, but not very entertaining in the locker room.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_00]: So great in the locker room.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_01]: And then his video that he did with the box, they had a sensor out of him yelling out of word.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_00]: I was just like, it's crossing top show, right?
- 45:50[SPEAKER_00]: Like he's not going to care.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_00]: Like what he says, it's just for now.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_01]: And I love it because also, too, if you guys remember being a training camp or practices, you would hear him from a mile away.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, yep, not chose out there.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_01]: And you would just, you're like, who is yelling?
- 46:04[SPEAKER_01]: Who keeps yelling at training camp?
- 46:06[SPEAKER_00]: Well,
- 46:07[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, I mean, like, no lack of it.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_00]: Like, doesn't want to be whatsoever.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_00]: So, like, if that's something the Buccaneers were missing, which we all knew was, yeah.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_00]: That's going to help a little pick.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to give you a little pick me up there in the room.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_00]: So I do like it.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_01]: David Sills is coming with some ties there.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, was Zach Robinson coming from the Falcons.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_01]: He's a wider seaver, just in school.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody knows him offensive tackle.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_01]: He's coming back.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_01]: And then also to come on, Kimon Hall, a corner back.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_01]: He spent time with the Titans Cowboys and Charters.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_01]: He's a 28 year old as well, but he's mostly going to be looking at you know some contributions and special teams.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_01]: and some depth at the corner back position along with two depth we're going to talk about Chase Lucas, which was this analysis yesterday, another secondary edition, I just had a short stent there with a San Francisco 49ers, but there's going to help with some depth.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_01]: And then also two, this is one that me and River had to make sure we're trying to get the name right in there, how to say it.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's right on right there.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_01]: He's a defensive tackle.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_01]: He's coming from United States.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_02]: Not we're sorry.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I know that we're sorry.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_01]: We'll handle it at one buck, but he's defensive tackle.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't think I'll last too long, but he's from Nigeria.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_01]: He spent some time on the Texans practice squad, and we'll see you might join the team as an international player pathway program developmental kind of guy coming in.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_01]: but some some signings there that bucks have made in the last week, but I think of course that Nunez Rochez is a big one there that all of us are excited for and of course some things that they're doing at the offensive line in the quarterback position.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_02]: to be completely honest with you, I'm a little confused.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, bringing back Nuna's road has bring back just in school, older players who have shown to be decent, but not some productive, just going through familiarity.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_02]: School at least is a swing tackle, you know, had some success after that dreadful lion's game when he filled in for Tristan Wars, or look at it, he actually,
- 48:17[SPEAKER_02]: 2024, but he did play some good games after that, so credit workers do there, but you do have Ben Chakuma there as well, right, so the buck seems to really be going for some older players, and they're signing players that they used to have familiarity, and I just don't know if that's the right move given where the teams at the moment.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_02]: so we'll see how that works out.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of federal teams value and a lot of these signings, corners, particularly the two corners, looking all definitely big federal teams value there, don't want them starting, so still I think need to get a corner back high.
- 48:57[SPEAKER_02]: in this draft, especially given that you're two starters there at Cornerback, or as I am a column of management Morrison, Morrison, injury riddles his first season, some up and down play there, McCollum, ever since he got his contract extension, has not been able to put together a consistent season.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_02]: So if you're two certain corners, you might want to think about introducing a third cog in that machine and perhaps to try and get rid of things running smoothly.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_00]: I like some of the moves in the secondary special teams.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_00]: Why things in that nature, those are good.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_00]: The guy from San Francisco can play backup nickel.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_00]: I forget his name because there were so many signed eggs.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, Chase, this is, yeah.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_00]: So he can't win back up nickel.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_00]: So there's kind of your Christian isian people.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Jay, Jay, Robert's decision.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_00]: Right, but they'll they'll battle it.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_00]: You know those are you guys that will kind of be battling there for for back up space I think both of those guys make it by you know, just saying like both of those guys will probably make the roster and some sort of value But the roaches signing it's not going to move the needle.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_00]: You don't really necessarily need them But again, I think this team is looking at some of these moves as like okay Well, this locker room is still like there's nothing, you know Going on like it's just like we're going out here doing our jobs and whatever moving forward
- 50:15[SPEAKER_00]: This is going to be different.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_00]: I think this is more of a locker room signing a guy that's going to, I guess I mentioned bring up the energy levels in that room in that locker room and be able to get guys more excited to go out there and play football on a daily basis.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_00]: And then the school signing.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_00]: yeah question mark because they did like what you will most able to do last year and in the spot moments but i do think that you know he was school's horrible for the bikers his pasties and like he was he was in honest observation i think everybody can make and especially bikers hands have made it was rough yeah
- 50:48[SPEAKER_00]: And that's fine, but we did see as mentioned, as mentioned by River, we did have a little bit of success, and that was with carbs, right?
- 50:55[SPEAKER_00]: That's with the offensive line coach at the Buckingham Year's App.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_00]: So like bringing him back's not a bad option, even though you do have a backup swing guy that can play both.
- 51:04[SPEAKER_00]: why not get some death there with the possibility of even running him a little bit inside.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_00]: You know you've had problems inside, he's just going to be a death piece.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure what his abilities are when it comes to working inside or if it would even be.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_00]: you know, whatever limitations he does have from being a tackle and how big he is, but it would be great, you know, to see and take a step or be able to have a little bit of added additional depth there.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_00]: So I want to wait and see on school, don't love it, don't hate it.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's just one of those situations like, okay, let's move on and see what happens next.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but overall they're not anything none of these guys are going to move the needle.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think this special teams just got way better.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_00]: Um, that's pretty much what it's telling us is that hey, we're going to try and go get everybody's best special teams guy.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_00]: So this doesn't happen again and maybe that is, you know,
- 52:03[SPEAKER_00]: I don't mind, um, I think at my favorite is the is the nacho piece because I do think that the team does really need it somebody with some personality other than just going out about their business every single day.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the bucks have made a lot of moves this off season throughout the special teams department, bringing in Danny Smith from the Pittsburgh.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there's been a lot of emphasis on that.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_01]: Making some changes.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_01]: They're with the special teams coaching as well.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_01]: So it was much needed.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it had to happen.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_01]: Um,
- 52:29[SPEAKER_01]: And you like that adjustments are being made there.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_01]: But like you guys said, it's nothing that's going to be so riveting here.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of depth pieces, some things you want to take care of on the special team's part of things.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_01]: And then maybe you know, you just need some juice, like you said, Caleb, this team was missing that last year.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_01]: That's why they brought in JPP at the last minute to try to like revitalize the defensive side of the ball, the locker room.
- 52:51[SPEAKER_01]: They're even just maybe the entirety of that locker room.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_01]: Just because it felt like some things were dead.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_01]: we did see that after games where you go in the locker and just like not a lot of communicating of course losses or losses but just felt like the confidence was shot from that team and no one was really able to step up and you know I think a lot of the guys kept things to themselves and maybe a guy like even Mike Evans where you know you would hear some things like Levanta David speaking after games
- 53:16[SPEAKER_01]: But after that, it just kind of goes dead silent and there's no communication afterward and they're just trying to look for any kind of optimism that never really was a case for them in a latter half of twenty twenty five so.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_01]: Some interesting additions here, but I think that's going to do it for us guys.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_01]: We appreciate everybody hanging out with us on this Friday morning.

- 54:15[SPEAKER_02]: This legance, the tradition on and on the other.
- 54:17[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, to dive more to that.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I just wanted to warn River.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_00]: Next time it goes on vacation, make sure that you're not being private and bestigated.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_00]: You know, all right.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_00]: Wrong, wrong doings as a road for it.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_02]: I will, you know me.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_01]: That range rover looking too, by the way.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_02]: Listen guys, there's been allegations recently on my Twitter that I've bought a range rover and I would never do that.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_02]: I like them light, lower the ground, small handling cars, you know, fast, those range rovers.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_02]: Great for what they do, opposite of my thing.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_02]: So I don't want it to be known that I would ever do something like that.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_00]: I did just invest in Bitcoin though, and I was going to say, no mining oil.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
