Fair Express Buses Launch This Fall | Seattle News
Pierce Transit is rolling out major service tweaks starting Sunday, August 30th — smoother connections, better school timing, and a new express bus for the Washington State Fair. Running daily from Sept 4–27 (except Tues & Sept 9), the fair express offers 30-min intervals from 9am–11pm, connecting Lakewood Station, South Hill Mall, and the Blue Gate. Adults pay $2, seniors/disabled $1, kids under 18 ride free. All fares accepted via cash, card, ORCA, or pass — making transit easier for everyone, especially during the big fair.
