- 3:53Speaker 1: I'm struggling here in the background because one of my
- 3:59Speaker 1: amber alerts was removed, so that is good, but there
- 4:05Speaker 1: still is an Amber alert for Sebastian Jones, an eleven
- 4:09Speaker 1: month old Native American male who was taken from Houston
- 4:16Speaker 1: Harris County on July seventeenth. Okay, now, the suspect is
- 4:22Speaker 1: Alena Thornton, who is a twenty five year old Native
- 4:26Speaker 1: American female. Guys, please keep your eyes open. I mean
- 4:32Speaker 1: it's hard with a little baby for them to get
- 4:35Speaker 1: great pictures to put out there. So if you were
- 4:38Speaker 1: in the Houston area and by now, I would say
- 4:42Speaker 1: all of Texas and the surrounding states, please keep your
- 4:46Speaker 1: eyes open. And if you know Alena, please tell her
- 4:50Speaker 1: to do the right thing. Okay, turn herself in and
- 4:53Speaker 1: let's make sure that Sebastian is okay. Okay, Now, guys.
- 5:00Speaker 2: We are headed to Arizona.
- 5:02Speaker 1: And Arizona is often called the copper State, Okay, because
- 5:06Speaker 1: it produces more copper than any other state, which I
- 5:11Speaker 1: didn't know, and I think we all know. It has
- 5:14Speaker 1: a incredible diverse landscape. Now, beyond the iconic cacti and
- 5:22Speaker 1: desert scenery, Arizona contains the largest stand of Ponderosa pine
- 5:28Speaker 1: forest in the world and guys, I have to tell
- 5:32Speaker 1: you those things can go up and flame, so I
- 5:37Speaker 1: hope they're keeping them trimmed. Okay now, Also, they have
- 5:43Speaker 1: more Native American tribal land than any other state.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Okay.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Now, It's also one of only a handful of states
- 5:50Speaker 1: where visitors can experience several distinct climate zones within the
- 5:55Speaker 1: single days drive. You can get snow, desert, you can
- 5:58Speaker 1: get it all.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Okay now.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Unfortunately, I don't know if y'all can hear my dogs,
- 6:05Speaker 1: but I guess they want to be heard today. But
- 6:10Speaker 1: as I was saying, the vast and varied terrain can
- 6:13Speaker 1: make missing person investigations especially challenging. Okay Now, according to
- 6:19Speaker 1: the Arizona Department of Public Safety, thousands of missing persons
- 6:24Speaker 1: are reported every year.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Thankfully, most are resolved quickly.
- 6:31Speaker 1: However, they have hundreds of long term cases that remain open,
- 6:36Speaker 1: and it is another reason that we continue to highlight
- 6:40Speaker 1: those cases of those that are still missing. Okay, So
- 6:46Speaker 1: let's get into it, guys. So Drake Lyons Kramer was
- 6:51Speaker 1: twenty years old twenty one years old when he disappeared
- 6:55Speaker 1: from Grand Canyon National Park in ARIZERNI, guys, taken so
- 7:00Speaker 1: many anahistamines that I can't get hydrated anyway. He disappeared
- 7:10Speaker 1: from Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona in early February
- 7:14Speaker 1: twenty fifteen. Drake was last seen at the Bright Angel
- 7:18Speaker 1: Lodge on the south rim of the Grand Canyon. He
- 7:22Speaker 1: checked out and that's the last time anyone saw him. Now,
- 7:26Speaker 1: he did leave behind his white two thousand and seven
- 7:29Speaker 1: Mazda with a Texas license plate c SK one seven
- 7:34Speaker 1: sixty seven in the parking lot of the lodge.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Okay, now that is very weird. Okay.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Drake is described as a white male with brown hair
- 7:45Speaker 1: and blue eyes, standing between five foot six five foot
- 7:49Speaker 1: eight inches tall, weighs one hundred and thirty five to
- 7:52Speaker 1: one hundred and forty five pounds. Now. When he was
- 7:55Speaker 1: last seen, he was wearing a gray and green sweatshirt,
- 7:59Speaker 1: blue jeans, a dark patterned baseball cap worn backwards, and
- 8:03Speaker 1: black Adidas shoes. Now today, Drake would be thirty two
- 8:08Speaker 1: years old. Now. Before his disappearance, Drake unexpectedly left his
- 8:15Speaker 1: home in Texas and sent text messages to family members
- 8:19Speaker 1: explaining the he had first driven to California before continuing
- 8:24Speaker 1: on to the Grand Canyon. Now, this is a place
- 8:27Speaker 1: he had visited several times in the past. Now, his
- 8:31Speaker 1: final text message told his loved ones that he loved
- 8:34Speaker 1: everyone and that he needed to be back with Mother
- 8:37Speaker 1: Earth and set his soul free. Okay, that's an interesting text.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Another message refers to having having to give his body
- 8:49Speaker 1: to Mother Earth. Now. Some reports note he may have
- 8:53Speaker 1: been suicidal at the time of his disappearance, but his
- 8:57Speaker 1: family has publicly disputed that character say, saying that Drake
- 9:01Speaker 1: had been in good spirits before he left, and the
- 9:05Speaker 1: last time that the family saw him was on January
- 9:08Speaker 1: twenty ninth, when they went together to a movie. Now,
- 9:12Speaker 1: his father described Drake as a frugal, hard working young man,
- 9:17Speaker 1: an excellent student, and someone who deeply loved nature. Now.
- 9:23Speaker 1: At the time he disappeared, Drake worked at Low's.
- 9:26Speaker 2: While pursuing his education.
- 9:29Speaker 1: He had earned an associate's degree from Northwest Vista College,
- 9:33Speaker 1: and he had recently transferred to the University of Texas
- 9:37Speaker 1: at San Antonio, where he was studying geology. Now. His
- 9:43Speaker 1: family said it was unusual for him to travel alone
- 9:46Speaker 1: on trips like this, but they did acknowledge that he
- 9:49Speaker 1: was an experienced outdoorsman who, like I said had visited
- 9:54Speaker 1: several times before. Now. An extensive search began almost a
- 10:00Speaker 1: immediately after Drake was reported missing. Now National Park Service rangers,
- 10:06Speaker 1: search and rescue teams, and more than forty personnel searched
- 10:10Speaker 1: the south rim between Hermit's Rest and Grand Viewpoint for
- 10:14Speaker 1: nearly a week. Searchers walked miles along the canyon rim.
- 10:21Speaker 1: They searched heavily wooded areas, They deployed search dogs.
- 10:25Speaker 2: They did, you know, technical.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Rope searches over the canyon's edge, and they repelled into
- 10:33Speaker 1: difficult terrain and also flew multiple aerial reconnaissance missions by helicopter. So, guys,
- 10:42Speaker 1: they looked for him, okay now. The rangers have described
- 10:46Speaker 1: the search area as especially challenging, explaining that while the
- 10:50Speaker 1: room itself is relatively flat, the terrain beyond it quickly
- 10:55Speaker 1: becomes rocky, unstable, and heavily covered with trees, these shrubs,
- 11:01Speaker 1: and steep canyon walls, which makes it extremely difficult for
- 11:06Speaker 1: that search and guys. Despite the massive search effort, in
- 11:11Speaker 1: years of follow up investigations, no confirmed trace of Drake
- 11:16Speaker 1: has ever been found. Investigators have continued to pursue leads,
- 11:21Speaker 1: but no physical evidence or additional clues to narrow the
- 11:26Speaker 1: search down have come in. Okay, Now, I do want
- 11:32Speaker 1: to say anyone with information about Drake Lyons Kramer's disappearance
- 11:36Speaker 1: is urged to contact the National Parks Service Investigations Service
- 11:41Speaker 1: Branch at nine to eight eight.
- 11:44Speaker 2: One, four, three six five two. Guys.
- 11:49Speaker 1: His family deserves and needs answers. Now, I couldn't find
- 11:54Speaker 1: the date of the text messages, but I can't help.
- 11:58Speaker 1: But wonder if they didn't sound like Kim, could somebody
- 12:02Speaker 1: else have sent those text messages? Because we've heard stories
- 12:06Speaker 1: of that before, So I wonder, Okay, I really really wonder.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I'm also going to ask you to be sure to
- 12:14Speaker 1: go to the Midday Missing Facebook page or any of
- 12:19Speaker 1: my Terry true crime social media pages and please share
- 12:23Speaker 1: Drake's missing poster. Okay, let's get the word out there. Okay. Now,
- 12:30Speaker 1: if you have a loved one who's missing, or know
- 12:33Speaker 1: of a missing person whose story deserves more attention, we
- 12:37Speaker 1: would be honored to help share their case on an
- 12:39Speaker 1: upcoming episode of Midday Missing, and family members are also
- 12:43Speaker 1: welcome to join us for a live interview to discuss
- 12:46Speaker 1: their loved one and help raise awareness. And you can
- 12:50Speaker 1: email me at Terry T. E r I at tcwtmedia
- 12:55Speaker 1: dot com, or you can reach out to me on
- 12:59Speaker 1: any social media platforms okay now. Natalie Joe Sebastian was
- 13:08Speaker 1: fifty four years old when she vanished from Globe, Arizona
- 13:12Speaker 1: on December twenty third, twenty twenty three, leaving behind a
- 13:17Speaker 1: mystery that continues to.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Haunt her close knit community now.
- 13:21Speaker 1: According to authorities, Natalie was last seen leaving her home
- 13:25Speaker 1: on foot at about four.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Point fifteen in the morning.
- 13:29Speaker 1: She reportedly carried only her driver's license, leaving behind her vehicle,
- 13:35Speaker 1: her purse, medication, and all of her other personal belongings.
- 13:39Speaker 1: And guys, she's never been seen or heard from again.
- 13:42Speaker 1: And guys, I have to say, my first thought is
- 13:46Speaker 1: why was she going for a walk at four am?
- 13:50Speaker 1: I mean, I found that interesting. Now today, Natalie is
- 13:56Speaker 1: fifty six years old. She is a white female with
- 14:00Speaker 1: long strawberry blonde hair, hazel eyes, stands about five feet
- 14:05Speaker 1: two inches weighs about one hundred and fifty pounds. Now.
- 14:09Speaker 1: She was believed to be wearing a light colored hooded
- 14:12Speaker 1: longsleeve sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black and white timmy shoes.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Now Natalie was a familiar face throughout globe. Okay. She
- 14:21Speaker 1: worked as a cashier at the local Safeway for twenty years.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Girl, that is a.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Long time, and I love that. Now. In a town
- 14:32Speaker 1: of about seven two hundred people, neighbors know one another, okay,
- 14:38Speaker 1: and you recognize the person from the grocery store, right,
- 14:42Speaker 1: And word traveled quickly about her disappearance, and it drew
- 14:48Speaker 1: some immediate attention. Now. According to her husband, Jerry, the
- 14:53Speaker 1: couple had spent the evening together watching television before going
- 14:56Speaker 1: to bed because it was just two days before Chris.
- 15:01Speaker 1: When he woke up the following morning, Natalie was gone.
- 15:05Speaker 1: He said her disappearance was devastating, especially because she left
- 15:10Speaker 1: without the things she would normally never leave behind and
- 15:14Speaker 1: without telling anyone where she was going. So I have questions, guys.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Did they have a fight, Was she stressed about something?
- 15:24Speaker 1: Did she go for walks often at four am? And
- 15:27Speaker 1: how do you know it was around four am? If
- 15:29Speaker 1: you were in better sleep? I couldn't find Did they
- 15:35Speaker 1: say they saw her on a ring camera, security camera?
- 15:39Speaker 1: I don't know, But those are questions I have and
- 15:43Speaker 1: I would love answers. Okay, would love answers, and if
- 15:48Speaker 1: anybody and chat has thoughts on that, I would love
- 15:51Speaker 1: to know because I want to know did they have a.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Fight, because who does that? Two days before Christmas? Okay.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Now, as the investigation unfolds, the Gilla County Sheriff's Office
- 16:06Speaker 1: began to believe Natalie may have been the victim of
- 16:09Speaker 1: foul play. You think, people, you think now. Detective Christopher
- 16:15Speaker 1: McGarty has led the investigation, pursuing, pursuing numerous leads, conducting interviews,
- 16:23Speaker 1: and serving search warrants. Okay, he's the one who also
- 16:27Speaker 1: made sure she was entered in both the state and
- 16:30Speaker 1: national missing person databases.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Okay.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Now, during the investigation, he has sought search warrants for
- 16:38Speaker 1: Natalie's phone records, believing that they could provide valuable investigative
- 16:43Speaker 1: leads like maybe she was texting somebody, maybe she was
- 16:48Speaker 1: going to go meet a friend. I don't know. However, though,
- 16:53Speaker 1: the detective has publicly expressed his frustration over the delays
- 16:58Speaker 1: and the privacy related obstacles that they have faced while
- 17:02Speaker 1: attempting to attempting to obtain those records, which, guys, if
- 17:12Speaker 1: y'all remember back when I used to do tips, you
- 17:14Speaker 1: need to leave somebody knowing how to get into your
- 17:18Speaker 1: phone and into all your social media accounts, because it
- 17:22Speaker 1: takes law enforcement sometime to do those search warrants and
- 17:26Speaker 1: get answers back.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Okay, now, oh.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Mary said she wondered the same thing, but only because
- 17:35Speaker 1: I used to walk at four am for an hour
- 17:37Speaker 1: and then had to shower and get ready before leaving.
- 17:40Speaker 2: For work at six. But that that normal for her.
- 17:44Speaker 1: See. Okay, first of all, Mary, getting up to go
- 17:47Speaker 1: walking at four am, you are amazing, because I am
- 17:53Speaker 1: not getting up that early to go walking, even if
- 17:56Speaker 1: it's my only time of the day.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Okay.
- 17:59Speaker 1: So, Jerry also hired private investigator Larry Reeves Rives to
- 18:07Speaker 1: assist in the search for his wife. Rives has worked
- 18:10Speaker 1: alongside law enforcement, coordinating directly with detective majority to avoid
- 18:16Speaker 1: duplicating efforts while following up on leads and conducting interviews.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Now that is good because.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Normally law enforcement doesn't work very close with private investigators.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Okay.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Now, investigators have received reported sightings and numerous tips from
- 18:35Speaker 1: the public, but guys, none have led to any trace
- 18:39Speaker 1: of Natalie. Now. Jerry has continued to publicly plead for
- 18:44Speaker 1: information describing the uncertainty surrounding his wife's disappearance as incredibly
- 18:51Speaker 1: difficult for their family. Guys, A loved one going missing
- 18:57Speaker 1: is hard during the holidays.
- 19:00Speaker 2: I don't know why.
- 19:01Speaker 1: But I think that would just make it even harder.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Natalie's case remains active, Okay. A five thousand dollars reward
- 19:10Speaker 1: is being offered for information leading to her whereabouts. So
- 19:15Speaker 1: anyone with information about Natalie Joe Sebastian's disappearance is urged
- 19:21Speaker 1: to contact the Gilla County Sheriff's Office at nine two
- 19:25Speaker 1: eight four seven four two two eight. Because, guys, even
- 19:30Speaker 1: the smallest piece of information could be that one detail, Okay,
- 19:35Speaker 1: that one detail that finally helps bring answers to those
- 19:40Speaker 1: who continue searching for Natalie. Okay, guys, that, oh I
- 19:48Speaker 1: just can't imagine, right around the holidays, how hard that is.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Okay.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Now, don't forget to join our Midday Missing Facebook group.
- 19:57Speaker 1: If you're on Facebook, that is where Drake and Natalie's
- 20:03Speaker 1: missing person posters will be posted. But they are also
- 20:07Speaker 1: posted on my Terry true crime social media pages, so
- 20:11Speaker 1: please share them, Okay. It truly means a lot to
- 20:15Speaker 1: the families.
