- 0:17can't win the big game, Michael Jordan said.
- 0:19I played 82 games. You don't see the fun doing
- 0:22that, but Jack Hughes did after getting his teeth knocked out
- 0:25and played every single shift he got back in the game.

- 2:43for all our shows is go to our website at WWW dot
- 2:48worldwidesportsradio.com. It is warm here in Long Island,
- 2:53New York. It's 83° today.
- 2:55It's been unbelievable. Now we're we're driving this
- 2:58summer. I hate the hot weather.
- 3:01There's no air conditioning on right now because I don't have
- 3:04central air. We have to get ready to put the
- 3:06air conditionings in the in the windows and all that other
- 3:09stuff. I know everybody out there.
- 3:10You live in a really nice neighborhood.
- 3:12Once you have central air, you got to have to ask my landlord
- 3:14for that. But no, no central air here,
- 3:18here at the Worldwide Sports Radio Network studios.
- 3:21But it it's still cool down here.
- 3:23It's about 69°. But it's horrible outside.
- 3:26I don't like this weather. I do not like the summer.
- 3:28I don't like swimming pools. I don't like the beach.
- 3:31As everybody sits here and says, oh, I can't wait until the the
- 3:35beach. Yeah.
- 3:35But anyways, that is my thing. How about in Georgia?
- 3:38What is the weather over there in Georgia?
- 3:40Super hot, it's like 99°, but the only thing down here is this
- 3:45pollen season, so that's what you got to worry about down
- 3:47here, so. Do you have central air?
- 3:49Hot over seasonal allergies? Do you have central air?
- 3:53Yeah, I. Do of course you got to brag
- 3:55about that. You always got to brag about it,
- 3:57Yeah. Well, yeah, Why wouldn't I?
- 3:58Why wouldn't I? Well, I don't understand why you
- 4:00don't. That's a lot of people would say
- 4:02the same thing, but I do not have central air here, but I
- 4:05will have the air conditionings in don't worry about.
- 4:08That when, when, so we can know. Probably in a week, usually a
- 4:12week when it when it stays this hot and this humid.
- 4:16I hate when the bugs come out. I hate the different mosquitoes
- 4:19and the fleas. When you have dogs and cats.
- 4:21I don't have any animals, so I, I don't have to deal with the,
- 4:24the insects living on my animals.
- 4:27But you don't like it. Then the I saw moths today.
- 4:30I don't like moths. And then they have those little
- 4:33what are those things right now that come from down South that
- 4:36eat away on the plants and the wines?
- 4:38No, no, no, I forget what they call them, but they're like fly.
- 4:41They look like moths, but they're not moths, but you see
- 4:45them a lot. I no, they're not butterflies.
- 4:47I I forget what they're called, but it it is.
- 4:49Brutal. I guess yeah, the stink bug, I
- 4:53guess that's what it is. They fly all over the place.
- 4:56They eat away on the wineries. The wineries can't stand it out
- 4:59here. I can't stand it because they're
- 5:02so quick. They have like quicker reflexes
- 5:04than we we do. I I try to step on them and they
- 5:07just automatically can move. They have like this, this
- 5:12flexibility. I I don't know, I've never seen
- 5:14anything like it. These insects are the most ugly,
- 5:17ridiculous things. And again.
- 5:19They leave a older though. If you kill them, they leave a
- 5:21older. Yeah, I hear about it.
- 5:23It invites other stink bugs to come, so you got to be careful
- 5:26when you kill them. Well, thanks.
- 5:28Thank you. We got Mr. Mr. Bug man over
- 5:31here, Mr. Insect. Insect Man, Mr. Terminator.
- 5:37I don't know. I just can't stand this weather.
- 5:39I can't wait until the fall, the winter time.
- 5:42What? Yeah, I can't wait for it.
- 5:44I, I I can't stand this time. The spring this time is.
- 5:48Horrible. This weather is not my thing.
- 5:50I don't I don't like it. Anybody that knows me, I can't
- 5:53stand Florida weather, I can't stand California weather.
- 5:56I can't stand Texas weather because it's just and even I've
- 6:00been to Arizona, I've been to Las Vegas, I don't like that
- 6:03weather either. So.
- 6:04Desert heat, that's different. Yeah, that's way different.
- 6:06And hot. That's desert heat.
- 6:07Yeah, you're right. Desert heat and and you got to
- 6:10deal with bugs here in Long Island, all bugs when the pools
- 6:14open up, these insects in these termites and all these other
- 6:18stuff, they're living and they're hibernating and then
- 6:20they come out after after the summer comes out and it's hot
- 6:24and warm and disgusting and you got to deal with all those bugs.
- 6:27So it's not something I look forward to.
- 6:30But anyways, in the NB AM VP race, defending award winner
- 6:35Shay Gilch, Chris Alexander is the runaway favorite to win the
- 6:40award despite Nicola Yokich reaching 65.
- 6:43Get the 65 game minimum according to bet MGMSGA is a -.
- 6:495000 to win the MVP, followed by Wembe at +2000 and then Yokich
- 6:56at plus 6600. Wembe is averaging 25 points,
- 7:0011.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.
- 7:05He's been playing sensational as we all know.
- 7:08Isn't it 3.1 blocks per game? I think that's what he's
- 7:11averaging, not 3.1 assists per game.
- 7:13But I don't know. SG Agent is averaged and it has
- 7:17been averaging 31.1 points per game, 4.3 rebounds per game, and
- 7:216.6 assists per game this season.
- 7:24Yokich averaging 27.7 points per game, 12.9 rebounds per game,
- 7:30and 10.7 assists per game. The other big controversial.
- 7:35There's no doubt controversial in the NBA has been the 6565
- 7:40game minimum rule, but the NBA did rule Luka Doncic and Kate
- 7:45Cunningham eligible for the the awards despite playing 64 games.
- 7:52I love, I'm wearing, as you can see, I'm wearing an Oklahoma
- 7:56jersey. I love OK CI.
- 7:59Really, I'm a Knick fan. As you can see, I'm wearing my
- 8:01Knicks hat, wearing my nice orange hat.
- 8:05Yeah, I have to be. I love the New York Knicks.
- 8:08I love them, but I also love OK CI, love SGAI.
- 8:12Think he's one of the most electrifying players right now
- 8:15in the NBA? There's no question the guy can
- 8:17shoot the three. He can dominate in many
- 8:19different areas of his game. For a guy his size for for a
- 8:24guy's significant size, he's still averaging 4.3 rebounds per
- 8:28game and 6.6 assists per game. This guy is a dominant offensive
- 8:32weapon. And if you think about it, this
- 8:35is the same guy that was traded for Paul George.
- 8:38This was the Clippers top end pick.
- 8:41Him and Williams were the Clippers and they traded these
- 8:45two players. Probably one of the worst trades
- 8:48in NBA history. Me and Fish have gone back and
- 8:51forth talking about it. Think about it, you get 2
- 8:56dominant players for one player that can't stay healthy.
- 8:59Go ask the 76ers what they had to deal with this year with Paul
- 9:04George. The steroid situation, The guy
- 9:07can't stay healthy. Came.
- 9:09Remember, this guy was a great United States basketball player.
- 9:12Hurt his leg in the USA game and obviously broke it.
- 9:17And I think two different spots. Some people thought he was never
- 9:19going to come back again. But what SGA has done has just
- 9:24dominated the league. Canadian player, international
- 9:26player. And when you look at the list of
- 9:28players right now up for this award besides Kate Cunningham,
- 9:33Wembe is from France, SGA is from Canada, Yokich is from
- 9:40Serbia, Luka Dodgek, where's he from?
- 9:45I don't even know where Croatia. There it is.
- 9:48I mean, you have 4 international players.
- 9:51Your four best players in all of the NBA are international.
- 9:56Would this have happened in the 90s or the early 2000s?
- 9:58No, because you had LeBron James at the top of his game, yet Kobe
- 10:02Bryant in the days of the 90s, you had you had Tim Duncan, you
- 10:07had Michael Jordan, you had all those players, Karl Malone,
- 10:11Scottie Pippen. America was dominating,
- 10:15dominating every single year, every single decade.
- 10:19And now it's transition into an international game.
- 10:22Dirk Nowinski was one of the first international superstars.
- 10:25And then all these players started to come from all
- 10:29different countries and have dominated.
- 10:31Absolutely dominating. SGA is one of those guys that
- 10:35you love to watch. The guy is sensational.
- 10:37But as far as the NVPI think Jokic has been stole.
- 10:42He he, they stole the NVP last year.
- 10:45This is a big man that had a triple double last year, a
- 10:48triple double. And what he's doing right now is
- 10:51it's just absolutely amazing. 12.9 rebounds per game, which he
- 10:55leads the league, 10 points, 10.7 assists per game.
- 10:59This guy's been probably the leading assist guy in all of the
- 11:03NBA practically the whole season.
- 11:05I don't know if he's still there, but he's one of the top
- 11:07three in the NBA and 27 points. Now, I'm not taking shots at
- 11:12SGA, but the only thing SGA dominates in as far as what I've
- 11:16seen is his offense ability. His offensive ability is
- 11:20remarkable, but he's only averaging four more points than
- 11:25Yokich is. Yokich is dominating on the
- 11:27boards. Yokich is dominating on the
- 11:29assists. How is SGA right now throughout
- 11:36the league? A minus 5000 to win the MVP?
- 11:40It doesn't make any sense. I don't care what MGM thinks,
- 11:44Vegas thinks this guy's been sensational.
- 11:46Is he the best player right now in the NBA?
- 11:48Does he make his team that much better?
- 11:50I can tell you this right now, if SGA was hurt, this team is
- 11:54still a top three team in the in the Western Conference.
- 11:58Still still, you look at Webby Yama and see what he's done.
- 12:03He's been sensational, but even without Webby, there's still a
- 12:08playoff team. There's still a top five team in
- 12:10the Western Conference. They're sensational.
- 12:11They got so much talent, young talent, so much depth on that
- 12:16roster. If you look at a guy like
- 12:21Yokich, if Yokich is not playing, does this team, is this
- 12:26team a playoff team? They're not.
- 12:27Is this team an elite team? They're not.
- 12:29Is this team competing for a top five seed?
- 12:32They're not. Jokic makes them that much
- 12:36better. And what do you think an MVP
- 12:38stands for? Most Valuable Player and the
- 12:42Most Valuable Player to their team and throughout the NBA is
- 12:45is no other than Nicole Jokic. There's no argument to it.
- 12:49What he does on a basketball court, we've never seen a big
- 12:51man do. Now, is he a good defender?
- 12:53No, he's not the best defender. Is he a decent defender?
- 12:57He is. But what he does with the ball,
- 12:59passing the ball, rebounding the ball, scoring the ball, how many
- 13:02players can do what he does at his size?
- 13:05How many players in the past can do what he does with his size?
- 13:10Nobody. That's how talented he is.
- 13:13That's how great he is. And again, going back to all
- 13:16these guys, even Luka Doncic, what he's done for the Lakers,
- 13:19we all knew how great Luka is. Luka is special.
- 13:24He is an offensive phenom. He helped the Lakers really get
- 13:29this team to the playoffs. Without Luka Doncic, LeBron
- 13:32James is not the same LeBron James.
- 13:34Reeves has been really, really good this year.
- 13:35He's going to get a big contract.
- 13:37But without Luka Doncic, this team is not even a playoff
- 13:39contending team. When I look at the two best
- 13:42players, the two MV PS to their teams, it's Luka Doncic and
- 13:48Nicola Yokich. They make their teams that much
- 13:51better. Now.
- 13:52I'm not taking shots at Webenyama.
- 13:54Webenyama is turning into a superstar.
- 13:57I was one that didn't like Webenyama.
- 13:58I didn't think he was going to stay healthy.
- 14:00But his heart and his soul and how hard he plays.
- 14:03You'll love the way he is energetic and he goes out there
- 14:06and plays hard every single game.
- 14:07Look what he did in the All Star game.
- 14:09He's the only one that played hard in the All Star Game.
- 14:13All these guys are well deserving players.
- 14:16Kate Cunningham has been unbelievable.
- 14:18You can argue he is the he was the best point guard in the
- 14:21NBANBA before he went down. He was better than SGA all
- 14:26around. What he's done for Detroit, what
- 14:29he's done for that organization, what he's done for the Eastern
- 14:33Conference, Detroit. I remember when they were world
- 14:37power, they had the 2 Wallaces, they had Billups, they had
- 14:43Hamilton, they had Prince. Dominant force.
- 14:47When you look at this team, the only player, the only superstar
- 14:50besides Duran's a good play, but besides Kate Cunningham.
- 14:54Could you name their top five players on their roster?
- 14:56You probably couldn't if you don't watch Detroit basketball.
- 15:01That's how good Kate Cunningham has been this year.
- 15:04There's no arguments to him. I can't argue who he is as a
- 15:07player. But what I can argue right now
- 15:09is how the hell does Bet MGM have SGA as a -5000?
- 15:15It doesn't make any sense. Nicola Yokich is the third guy
- 15:18on this list. A + 6600.
- 15:21How many big men? How many big men could you
- 15:24remember have a triple double back-to-back years?
- 15:27Now? I remember Harden, I remember
- 15:30Westbrook, all both those guys, when they had a triple double,
- 15:34they were automatically MVPS, automatically MVPS.
- 15:38Bull hogs or not, they're automatic MVPS.
- 15:41How does Nicole Yokich do it year in and year out and get
- 15:45better, better? If you look at his numbers,
- 15:47they're absolutely better than he was last year.
- 15:50How does this guy not the leading vote getter for the MVP?
- 15:54It doesn't make any sense, Speedy.
- 15:55It makes no sense. You you mentioned those other
- 15:57two cases too, Westbrook and Harden.
- 15:59They were not as efficient as what we've seen Nicola Yokich do
- 16:02in every triple double season that he's had.
- 16:04I didn't think Harden should have won it that year Even so,
- 16:06because he was very inefficient. I think he was a 43% shooter
- 16:09that year. I thought Anthony Davis deserved
- 16:10it on a lot lesser team. That's when New Orleans first
- 16:13broke out and then Anthony Davis got traded the next year and
- 16:15then LeBron was in the as we said many times, like LeBron
- 16:18could win the MVP in a lot of different years.
- 16:19And now Yokich is getting that same kind of treatment because
- 16:22of Joelle and beads cry baby antics and that tight race last
- 16:25year with Yokich at SGA. But I agree with you.
- 16:27There's no justifying that that this guy's averaging a triple
- 16:30double on a Nuggets team. We'll get into them.
- 16:32But when we preview the playoffs, that is 2020, first in
- 16:35total defense this year. Now, yeah, his defense hasn't
- 16:38been great. I think it's his worst defensive
- 16:39year, I believe, since his rookie year.
- 16:41So yeah, maybe that's going to factor into it.
- 16:43But at the same time. That's going to factor in a.
- 16:45Triple I I wouldn't do it, but I'm just saying there they'll
- 16:48probably there's certain voters that say, oh, his his defensive
- 16:50efficiency is down. So they're going to hold that
- 16:52against him compared to Wemby, who's going to be a finalist for
- 16:54defensive player of the year could win it.
- 16:56Now this is the other thing that's interesting is the
- 16:58minutes versus the games played, because Wemby actually played
- 17:02less minutes than everyone else on this list.
- 17:05Now, they were going to nitpick on Luka, Doncic, and Kate for
- 17:07missing the 64, missing the 65 game mark, but Wemby actually
- 17:11played less minutes than both of them Even so.
- 17:12So I'm glad the NBA did that and realized that MB should not be
- 17:16on the list if if Kate and Luca aren't because obviously Kate
- 17:19had collapsed along. That's not a basketball injury.
- 17:21And Luca Dantic, like you said, is powering through a Lakers
- 17:24team that has had injuries galore all year.
- 17:26So the fact that they did that is a good move.
- 17:28And but I agree with you, I still think Yokich has elevated
- 17:31that team when all the trades that were made a new coach this
- 17:34year. In your view right now, when you
- 17:35look at this list, who is the number one player to win MVP?
- 17:38Yokich it's. It's not even an argument.
- 17:40SGA, SGA. Let's hear it.
- 17:43Let's hear your take about SGA. So SEA got OKC to the number one
- 17:48seed right in the 1st 21 games huh?
- 17:51Did. He.
- 17:52Yeah, for sure, But he also runs the system, but he's also lead
- 17:56in that team, averaging 30 points.
- 17:58He's also didn't pay for the 1st 21st game, 1st 21 games.
- 18:04He never played in the fourth quarter.
- 18:06So still averaging 30 without playing in the fourth quarter.
- 18:09I would think that would be an impressive, right?
- 18:11That would be impressive, right? Total points, yes, but it's per
- 18:14game. So you're hold on one second.
- 18:16So you're saying in the 1st 20 games he didn't play in a fourth
- 18:19quarter. So it's telling you that they're
- 18:21that much better than everybody. Else that's not that's what,
- 18:24that's what I'm telling you. They're beating people like they
- 18:27suppose. They're that much better than
- 18:29everybody else. Okay, why?
- 18:32Who's leading the pack? The team, there's a whole team.
- 18:35It's not just. Him SEA is leading the pack, yes
- 18:38or no? Yeah, but it's really.
- 18:39Is he leading the team in rebounds?
- 18:41Is he leading the team in assist?
- 18:43Is he leading the team in blocks?
- 18:44Yes or no? No, okay.
- 18:47I rest my case. So that what is that what case?
- 18:50I rest my case because right now when you look at Jokic, he leads
- 18:53the team in points, rebounds, assist.
- 18:55He is that that important of a player.
- 18:58He's the Most Valuable Player to his team.
- 19:01His. Franchise or in 3rd correct?
- 19:04Yeah, the team stinks. It would be a playing team if he
- 19:07wasn't. There, the team stinks.
- 19:10They do. They stink.
- 19:12Third in the Western Conference. Would you say the Western
- 19:14Conference is suffer? Yes, harder.
- 19:17Yes, absolutely harder. Absolutely harder.
- 19:20OK. So they in the third, they in
- 19:223rd place, OK, But they was battling in the in the middle of
- 19:25the season, they were battling anywhere between 5:00 to 7:00,
- 19:28correct? Go ahead.
- 19:30I'm waiting for your point here. I'm.
- 19:31Waiting for the point. What?
- 19:33What's the? What you mean you wait for?
- 19:34The I'm waiting for the point because I gave you my point.
- 19:37If he's not playing in the fourth quarter for the 1st 20
- 19:39games, it means his team is that much better than everybody else.
- 19:43You could win without him. But you're taking away the 30
- 19:46points that he's he's already getting and he's taking away.
- 19:50So if you don't get those 30 points, they're not blowing
- 19:53people out if you look at all these.
- 19:55If you look at all these players that are fighting for that MVP,
- 19:58the Most Valuable Player webin Yama is more valuable to his
- 20:02team than SGA is. And so yes, he is Luka Doncic.
- 20:08Luka Doncic is more Luka Doncic is more important to his team
- 20:13than SGA is, because if these players were not on their teams,
- 20:17they're not in the playoffs. They're just not.
- 20:20LeBron and AR or their final? Seeds, they're like 8 or they're
- 20:23like 8 or 7 seeds. Yeah, Nuggets and Lakers are
- 20:25definitely playing teams. If those two guys aren't healthy
- 20:28all year, if. Luca don't play and it's just
- 20:31LeBron and Arkansas. You're telling me that they
- 20:33can't get past the play in? No, no, no, that's insane.
- 20:37The. Spurs, I think, could.
- 20:38I don't leave the other two teams, that's the same.
- 20:40Who? I mean, Luca gets 30, but he
- 20:43traded basket. So I mean, I don't understand
- 20:45like that logic in regards to like is he gets to 30, but he's
- 20:49also giving up 353540 points. So what's the what's the logic
- 20:54behind saying that he is that impactful on the office?
- 20:58It's entertaining but impactful wise.
- 21:00In the game wise, it's not really moving the needle like
- 21:03that because you're trading so many baskets on the other side
- 21:06of the court. How about this?
- 21:07That's what I'm saying. How about this?
- 21:09Why the NBA wants SGA to win every single year is because
- 21:13he's a Good Samaritan. He doesn't complain to the
- 21:16referees. No, this is this is the truth.
- 21:18He doesn't complain. Webbing, Yamas always out there
- 21:20speaking to the media and throwing the NBA under the bus
- 21:22with the All Star game. Luka Dajik how many times does
- 21:25he fight on the court? He sticks up for his players.
- 21:27You see that all the time. Kate Cunningham He's been back
- 21:31and forth arguing with referees. He's coming from that dirty,
- 21:34dirty Detroit and everybody doesn't like him because he's
- 21:37playing for Detroit. Luka Dajik, how many times does
- 21:40he bitch and moan to the referees?
- 21:42He's one of the leading guys in the NBA that does so.
- 21:45The only guy you look at as SGA who doesn't get in trouble
- 21:48doesn't really say. Any other referees though really
- 21:50speak to the referee when they get filed and they don't call?
- 21:53Really. Is that why the same free is
- 21:55that? Like everybody else.
- 21:57Is that why we still complain? Is that why when he goes to
- 21:59Madison Square Garden, they're calling fouls on the Knicks more
- 22:03than they're calling fouls on him?
- 22:05Is that why? Because it usually goes to the
- 22:07whole. Team fouls oh stop it.
- 22:10Throwing fouls on the talent it's.
- 22:11A talent, right? It's James Harden.
- 22:13It's James Harden. It's a four good job with the
- 22:18big basket Let. Me do the stinky leg.
- 22:21Let me do the stinky leg. Give me a break, how are you
- 22:28arguing this? He flops and he gets to the
- 22:30line. How are you arguing this?
- 22:32There's no argument to this. SGA is not the MVP.
- 22:35He's leading, He's number one, he's leading in the league, he's
- 22:39number one in the Western Conference.
- 22:41He's no one. In the division, he's.
- 22:42He's leading the points. He's he's never, he hasn't been
- 22:45dethroned from winning the championship last year.
- 22:48He had one of the hardest schedules of the year.
- 22:51So what are we talking? About why not?
- 22:54You might. Go on the point record not SGA
- 22:57Dodgers averaged 33 1/2 because they just allowed him to get but
- 23:00then they just today, as we said in the beginning in the read
- 23:03right, they're bringing him back to those end of season year
- 23:05awards. So now that's just good.
- 23:06Doncic gets the the point title he's going to probably, and this
- 23:10lets the first team NBA guys because that stuff's in people's
- 23:12contracts if you don't make. Those NBA he's shooting way
- 23:15more. He's shooting way more than.
- 23:17SGA too. I'm going to take your side, Q
- 23:19and I, I, I look, I love Jokic. I probably would still go with
- 23:23Jokic, but here's the argument. I haven't given you this
- 23:26argument for SGA yet. Here's the advanced stats.
- 23:30Oh God, here it is again. I know, look.
- 23:32It's true. No, it's it's not true.
- 23:35Why? Because he's telling me, taking
- 23:36your side, I'm going to get he's only feeling bad for you.
- 23:39He's only feeling bad. No, he's not.
- 23:40I'm not. Advanced.
- 23:42No he's not. I'll give because advanced stats
- 23:45don't sell me anything. True.
- 23:46Shooting percentage speedy what is true Shooting percentage tell
- 23:49us. So true, true shooting
- 23:51percentage is the it's the multiplication of like most twos
- 23:55and most threes percentage combined and SGAI believe was I
- 23:59think 58 on the year. Actually that's not true.
- 24:03He set the all time record I'm messing with.
- 24:05The fact, I think I messed up with the fact, but if you're
- 24:07right. Here's here's what he did.
- 24:09That's, that's why people are going to give him this award at
- 24:11-5000 because I couldn't understand it either.
- 24:14He said he broke Michael Jordan, Michael Jordans.
- 24:18Record. For highest field goal
- 24:21percentage for a guard who averaged over 30 points a game.
- 24:25Games different, games different.
- 24:28Games different. Games different.
- 24:31This is like a two point thing though.
- 24:33This is about like combining the two pointers games.
- 24:35Different. But that's putting him in
- 24:37Michael Jordan territory, no? You cannot put him in the same.
- 24:41I'm not done. I got a second.
- 24:43I got a second. Spin it out because I want.
- 24:45I have a lot to say about. His true shooting percentage of
- 24:4867.5. Steph Curry's record in
- 24:5320/15/2016 of 60. 6.9. Are you done?
- 24:58Are you done? 90s and Curry votes, are you
- 25:01done? In shooting, he's not with.
- 25:03First team defense. OK, now I'm going to, I'm going
- 25:08to argue that Luka Doncic right now is in the top five in
- 25:11offense in the league. Luka Doncic is in the top 3IN
- 25:15rebounds and assists. And Luka Doncic is a big man.
- 25:19That's what he is. He runs the offense, runs
- 25:22through the big OK, doesn't run. SGA is the point guard, it's
- 25:26supposed to run. The offense is supposed to run
- 25:28through him. And right now, when you look at
- 25:30his roster, his roster has more depth in all of the Western
- 25:34Conference than any team. When you if you look at what SGA
- 25:38has done, I don't care what he's doing.
- 25:39Breaking Michael Jordan's statistic records or whatever.
- 25:42And Michael Jordan played in the 90s is a different game.
- 25:46It was a different game. Defense was different.
- 25:48If if SGA played in the game when Michael Jordan played, he
- 25:52wouldn't be able to get off the shots that he gets off.
- 25:54He's open 90% of the time. So do you sit here?
- 25:57Yeah, he is. Do you watch?
- 26:00Do you watch him? I watch him there.
- 26:02Is it would be way more athletic than what they seen in the
- 26:04there. Is no way in hell by looking at
- 26:08this stats you can argue right now that he is better than what
- 26:12Jokic has done he. Will be going up against
- 26:14Michael. Jordan, if it was so so you're
- 26:16telling me why James Harden and Russell Westbrook, who won, who
- 26:19won the MVP triple double and and by the way, there were other
- 26:22players that had better numbers than them, way better numbers
- 26:25than them that year, way better numbers.
- 26:27They're they won the MVP because they were triple double S And by
- 26:31the way, they play the point guard position.
- 26:33This is a big man, a big 5 doing what he is doing right now.
- 26:40It's insane what he is doing. And you, you, you argue.
- 26:43I don't care what these these stupid statistics will try to
- 26:46drive what Michael Jordan did and what all these guys that
- 26:49that doesn't mean anything because to me, no, it's not
- 26:52because the game is different. My argue.
- 26:55No, I don't care what these advanced statistics mean.
- 26:58Nothing because they weren't here in the NBA, because they
- 27:01weren't here in the 90s, They weren't here in the 80s, and
- 27:04they bring these advanced statistics just like they do at
- 27:06baseball and they ruin the game of baseball.
- 27:08I'm sorry. It ruins the game of baseball
- 27:11because now everybody thinks, now everybody thinks that this
- 27:14guy's better than Babe Ruth. Oh, Otani's got on this and he's
- 27:17done that. He's better than Babe Ruth.
- 27:19He's not better than Babe Ruth. He's not a better pitcher than
- 27:22Babe Ruth. He's not a better power hitter
- 27:23than Babe Ruth. The game was different.
- 27:25The ball parks were bigger. They weren't juiced up balls.
- 27:28So you sit here and you're going to tell me all this garbage.
- 27:31When you're looking at advanced statistics, these advanced
- 27:34statistics mean nothing because they brought into the league to
- 27:38try to transition what the league is and what it
- 27:40transitioned to from then to now, It's garbage.
- 27:43And I'm not going to argue that when when you bring up advanced
- 27:46statistics, what I can argue is when you look at talent,
- 27:50full-fledged talent, what this guy has done in the last two
- 27:54years, this guy was the MVP of the league.
- 27:56There's no arguments to it. And anybody that argues this
- 27:59doesn't know basketball. They don't.
- 28:02And that doesn't take away from SGA what he's done.
- 28:06Such a different player though and I said more.
- 28:09Talented than NGA. I'm sorry, I think.
- 28:11Is Joker more talented? Than NGA Jokic, yes.
- 28:15Yes, yes. Oh my God, yes.
- 28:16Jokic is a better player and more talented than SGA.
- 28:20No question. No question I.
- 28:22Don't agree with you Arable. And I just wanted to throw this
- 28:26out there before because, look, obviously both incredible
- 28:29players, incredible seasons, right?
- 28:31In different ways, in very different ways.
- 28:34I don't think you can blame SGA for being on the best team.
- 28:37They always used to give the best guy on the best team with
- 28:40the best record the award. The team that was put together
- 28:43through, by the way, put together through the.
- 28:46Draft. Yeah.
- 28:46The process was trusted. The process was trusted over
- 28:49there, yeah. Penalizing for that, though.
- 28:50But I think I remember the beginning of the season when
- 28:53they had everybody healthy in Denver and they blitzed
- 28:55everyone, including the Thunder, and then they lost Aaron Gordon
- 29:00and Jokic kept them afloat and still got them the three seed.
- 29:03Now that Gordon is back for the last month plus they've been
- 29:06playing. They've got into the point in
- 29:07the last couple weeks. They beat, you know, they beat
- 29:11the I think, I don't think it won't be played, but they beat
- 29:13the Spurs at the end. He Jokic is on a mission and
- 29:16he's got the most healthy help he's had since they won four
- 29:20years ago. I would very and look, if he
- 29:23gets third, he gets third in this.
- 29:26He's going to go on quite a revenge tour in this playoffs,
- 29:29bro. Yeah, I I doubt it.
- 29:30He probably won't get past the first round, definitely won't
- 29:32get past the second. Well, we'll, well, you know,
- 29:35it's interesting you bring that up because we could get into
- 29:38that. Let's go right now.
- 29:40Yeah, let's get into it. The NBA playoff preview with the
- 29:42Eastern Conference. The number six seed.
- 29:45The Hawks will face off against the number 3 New York Knicks.
- 29:48The Hawks are 28 and 15 since the trade with Trey Young, while
- 29:54the Knicks won 53 games in Mike Brown's first year as head
- 29:58coach, breaking Pat Riley's record.
- 30:00The number five seed, the Raptors will face off against
- 30:04the Cavaliers. The number four seed, the
- 30:06Raptors have the 9th best defense in the NBA while the
- 30:09Cavaliers are #4 On offense, The number seven seed Sixers will
- 30:15face off against the Celtics. The number two seed, The 76ers
- 30:19are the number six overall rebounding team in the NBA, but
- 30:23will be without Joel Embiid against the Celtics, the team
- 30:27that is number one in total defenses, a defense.
- 30:31The number one seed, the Pistons, will face off against
- 30:34the winner of the Hornets in the Magic play in game tomorrow.
- 30:37The Pistons finished 60 and 22 and was the number one seed in
- 30:41the Eastern Conference since November 7th in the Western
- 30:45Conference. The number 5 seed, the Rockets
- 30:47will face off the number against the number four seed Lakers.
- 30:51The Lakers say that both Austin Reeves and Lukatachek are still
- 30:55out indefinitely against the Rockets team with with everybody
- 31:01healthy As for now the number six seed.
- 31:05The Timberwolves will face off against the number three seed,
- 31:08the Nuggets, a rematch from the from two years ago when
- 31:11Minnesota won in seven games. The Timberwolves are the second
- 31:16worst free throw shooting team in the NBA against a Nuggets
- 31:20defense that is 21st in the NBA. The number seven seed the the
- 31:26the Trail Blazers will take on the number two seed, the Spurs.
- 31:31Dylan Harper has a thumb injury and could miss the first two
- 31:35games of the series, while Wemby will be good to go after
- 31:39avoiding a major rib injury he suffered April 7th versus the
- 31:4476ers. The number one seed the Thunder
- 31:48will face off against the winner of the Warriors and sons play in
- 31:52game tomorrow. The Thunder are the only team in
- 31:54the NBA this season with a top five offense and defense as far
- 32:00as points per game. Let's get into the New York
- 32:04Knicks because it's cues. Atlanta Hawks.
- 32:10We're sitting there against the Atlanta Hawks.
- 32:14Here's the thing. The Atlanta Hawks are a good
- 32:16young team. They are they're they're,
- 32:19they're fun to watch. They're they're impressive.
- 32:22Everything about Atlanta tells me that they're dangerous,
- 32:25everything. And when you go back and forth
- 32:28and you look at the Hawks and their talent, you can look at
- 32:32obviously their number one guy and, and, and everybody knows
- 32:36who their number one guy. We talk about it all the time,
- 32:38their roster and, and what they stand for.
- 32:41Jaylen Johnson is one of the best players, one of the best
- 32:44young players in the NBA. If he has a good game, it's
- 32:48going to be hard for the Knicks to keep up with the pace of this
- 32:52young Atlanta Hawks team. But the Knicks have the 1
- 32:55weapon. The Hawks don't.
- 32:57They have a Jaylen Bronson, and Jaylen Bronson is one of those
- 33:01guys that when his team goes down and his team needs those
- 33:04extra points, he's the one that's going to go out there and
- 33:07get them. And if Karl Anthony Towns, if he
- 33:11wakes up and he bees, he becomes that number 2.
- 33:14Because if the Knicks have Karl Anthony Towns playing as a #2
- 33:17giving you about 22 and 10, the Knicks are going to win their
- 33:20series in five. I don't think it goes past five
- 33:24and that that doesn't take away what Atlanta has done.
- 33:27I think Atlanta is one year away from being an elite team in the
- 33:30NBAI think they need one or maybe two more pieces.
- 33:33They're going to have a high top ten pick this year.
- 33:36So I expect Atlanta to get themselves a very good young
- 33:40player on this roster to play with Jaylen Johnson.
- 33:43But the Knicks have a lot of weapons and what they did
- 33:48against Detroit in the first round last year is they use
- 33:50those weapons. There were other guys that
- 33:52didn't give them enough, but McBride last year gave them a
- 33:56lot. They gave him.
- 33:56He gave them like 8 or 9 points off the bench.
- 33:59If you're getting that with all the different weapons they have.
- 34:02OG and Anobi, one of the best defensive players in the league,
- 34:05he's going to be up for defensive Player of the year.
- 34:07He's not going to win. Webiyama is going to win, but OG
- 34:09has been one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBAI
- 34:15think that when you look at this roster and you look at the
- 34:18talent, they're much better than the Atlanta Hawks.
- 34:20Now, if they go and they play Atlanta and they let Atlanta
- 34:23believe that they could beat them and Atlanta gets that first
- 34:26win and they're up 1 and nothing, the Knicks are in
- 34:28trouble because first of all, you have Mike Brown.
- 34:32He's a new coach with the New York Knicks.
- 34:34He's been there before. He's coached Sacramento, he's
- 34:36coached other teams, he's coached the Cavaliers to the
- 34:38Finals. We all know what he's done.
- 34:40He's won. He's won.
- 34:42Assistant coach, I don't know if you want assistant coach of the
- 34:45year, but he won a couple of championships with the Golden
- 34:47State Warriors and Greg Popovich.
- 34:49So the guy knows how to win. There's no question that he
- 34:51does. But as a coach, he's never won.
- 34:54So the pressure's on him. I don't care if he'd beat Pat
- 34:57Riley's record these secondary players.
- 35:02And you know what I'm talking about, sweetie.
- 35:04Who do you think I'm talking about?
- 35:06The guy that the Knicks traded for six first round draft picks.
- 35:09Mikhail Bridges. Mikhail Bridges.
- 35:12This man needs to show up in this series.
- 35:14He cannot show up in one series for three games and then
- 35:18disappear. He needs to play hard every
- 35:21single game. He is a world renowned defensive
- 35:25player there. There's no doubt when he plays
- 35:27at a high level, Mikhail Bridges is one of the top 12, top 13
- 35:30defenders at his position. You can argue in the league, but
- 35:35the problem with Mikhail Bridges is he disappears offensively and
- 35:38defensively in games. They need that.
- 35:42They need an offensive momentum in this game in in this series
- 35:46against an Atlanta Helix team has nothing to lose.
- 35:49They have nothing to lose, guys. They they are to them, they
- 35:53believe they're going to beat the Knicks.
- 35:55They believe they're going to beat the Knicks in four games.
- 35:57Why? Because there's nothing for them
- 35:59to really worry about. They're going to go out there,
- 36:01they're going to play hard and they're going to play at a high
- 36:03level. The Knicks are going to have to
- 36:05be able to compete with that high level, that high paced
- 36:08game. They're young, they're
- 36:09energetic. Look what they did.
- 36:11They traded with Golden State, they brought Kaminga there.
- 36:13It's a different team. This is a team that believes in
- 36:16each other. And when you believe they're
- 36:18just as dangerous as the New York Knicks when it comes to
- 36:20full talent, there is nobody in the Eastern Conference.
- 36:24Yes, I said it. Nobody.
- 36:26When this team plays at full strength and at a high level,
- 36:29there's nobody in the Eastern Conference better than the
- 36:31Knicks. Nobody.
- 36:32Yeah. This is interesting because the
- 36:34Hawks, the way their depth is structured this year since Trey
- 36:37Young or since Trey Young was traded, you look at you said
- 36:40they bring coming, he plays refreshed after a whole the
- 36:42whole Golden State debacle over there.
- 36:44You look at somebody like Jaylen Johnson emerging as a starting
- 36:46to kill Alexander Walker, a guy who was a journeyman with the
- 36:49Pelicans and a couple other teams, that is founding his
- 36:51groove nicely. But what's interesting is they
- 36:53have a lot of different double digit scores off the bench, 8
- 36:56different guys, which is the same identity you saw the Pacers
- 36:59have last year, which the Knicks had trouble with that faster
- 37:02pace. Now it's different coaching
- 37:03staff. Obviously Mike Brown.
- 37:04I think it's done a better job with the transition defense
- 37:06element than Tom Thibodeau did. That was I think the biggest
- 37:08thing because Tom Thibodeau was trying to play the physical half
- 37:10court defense a lot of the time and faster teams like the Pacers
- 37:14caught them in transition. The Knicks obviously the bench
- 37:16def like you said is going to be the other big factor too.
- 37:18McHale Bridges cannot disappear as much as he has offensively in
- 37:21the second-half of the season. Josh Hart, same kind of thing.
- 37:23And you wonder what these reports about him playing the
- 37:26center the and getting Cat more in the offense that we talked
- 37:29about last. Week, you're going to need Jose
- 37:30Alvarado defensively to off the bench.
- 37:32You going to need him because Jaylen Johnson, he's going to be
- 37:35running that offense. The running the offense is going
- 37:38to go through him. They need a guy that's going to
- 37:39get under him, be a pest to him, and Jose Alvarado has been that
- 37:43defender. Yes, and I was going to say the
- 37:44the guard depth that that Atlanta has on the bench is
- 37:47that's why Alvarado is going to be a big X Factor too on the
- 37:49defensive side. On the offensive side, somebody
- 37:52whether it's Shannon, whether it's Clarkson, somebody has to
- 37:54emerge into that score off the bench to because the Hawks
- 37:57defenders, I think the outside of Nikhil Alexander Walker among
- 38:01their guards are not as good as you would expect.
- 38:04But again, it's a team like you said, that's playing very
- 38:05comfortable right now. They have a guys that have
- 38:08embraced their role, like you said, Kaminga or Shire, who is a
- 38:11first overall pick. He's downgrade to a bench role,
- 38:13but he's still playing in that role.
- 38:15The Hawks have, as you like to say, the Hawks have a system
- 38:18that they can trust right now. Now, again, it is very young all
- 38:21at once, and that's where I think they still have the edge
- 38:23right now. They did that with Detroit last
- 38:25year. If Detroit was a very young
- 38:26team, but the Knicks still had trouble with Detroit, they only
- 38:29won in six games. They had to win on a buzzer
- 38:31beater one of the games like that's the.
- 38:33Playoff speedy. Yeah, they cannot.
- 38:34I'm just saying the Knicks cannot take this lightly.
- 38:36And Mike Brown, that's the message that you're going to
- 38:38have if you want to be able to keep his job as a head coach, is
- 38:41not to do what? If the Knicks don't win this
- 38:43series, he's going to be fired. There's.
- 38:47No way. Yeah, I'm telling you.
- 38:49I'm telling you right now, with this roster and the way this
- 38:51roster is set up, there's no way.
- 38:53There's a lot of questions with Mike Brown throughout the
- 38:55season. They were having team meetings.
- 38:58Josh Hart came out at the tail end of the season saying that
- 39:00this team cannot play this way or they're not going to win,
- 39:03They're not going to move forward in the playoffs.
- 39:05When you have players coming out and saying that they never did
- 39:08that when Tom Thibodeau is there, they never had the
- 39:10authority to do that. And now all of a sudden Mike
- 39:13Brown is there and everybody is speaking.
- 39:15That's a problem. You could say whatever you want
- 39:18to you If this team does not go through the Hawks, and they
- 39:21should breeze through the Hawks because they're that much better
- 39:23than the Hawks. If they don't, I'm telling you
- 39:26right now, Mike Brown will be fired.
- 39:28He will be fired. I'm telling you right now, if
- 39:31they fire Mike Brown after losing the first round to
- 39:33Atlanta Hawks, the New York Knicks will not see a Eastern
- 39:37Conference finals or a championship run for the next
- 39:41decade, OK, Probably in it what I'm saying.
- 39:43So why? Because, all right, you're going
- 39:46to get rid of the coach, all right?
- 39:48So that's two coaches in the last two years, right, that you
- 39:50don't got rid of. OK?
- 39:52Then you're going to blow up the team because you're trying to go
- 39:54get Giannis, how old Giannis, who hasn't been as productive.
- 39:58How are you blowing Giannis? Giannis still led the league in
- 40:01so many statistics before he got hurt.
- 40:04So he was a top five MVP candidate before he got hurt
- 40:07this year, before he hurt his ankle or whatever his hamstring.
- 40:10What was it before now? Now he's.
- 40:12What was it? Is it killing whatever it was?
- 40:14We can't talk about before we got to talk about what he can
- 40:16do. Yeah, yeah.
- 40:18Is it killing? There it is.
- 40:19He's calf. Not going to have no identity
- 40:21that you don't already know now. So in regards to this matchup, I
- 40:24think Atlanta is just going to have to keep Jenny Brunson under
- 40:2730 and I think there's going to be an issue unless Cats step up
- 40:30and you get to and you get some role players that play their
- 40:33part. Josh Hart going to need to have
- 40:35at least one to two big games in this in this series to go.
- 40:38I actually got the Knicks coming out of this and six to seven,
- 40:43but it's going to be rough if they don't get some more
- 40:46production from the bench and Cat don't dominate on the
- 40:49inside. But like you said earlier, if
- 40:51you get 22 and 10, they got a good chance.
- 40:53But if they keep Jelly breasting under 30 and make Cat a shooter,
- 40:57it's going to be it's going to be tough for them to get out of.
- 40:59Atlanta is a sleeper team, but like you said earlier, I agree
- 41:02with you on this point. They are partly about a year
- 41:04out, but this is a scary matchup for the next.
- 41:07In the first round, I agree. I think Atlanta and Charlotte
- 41:10are two dangerous teams. I like their hungriness.
- 41:13I don't like what Melo Ball did the other day, but I like that
- 41:16hit. They're hungry and they want to
- 41:17go out there and prove themselves and they've got a
- 41:19tremendous future. I I'm not arguing with you with
- 41:22that, But if they're somehow Atlanta wins this game and this
- 41:25series, I'm telling you right now, the Knicks are going to
- 41:28look at this roster and they're going to say, all right, this
- 41:30roster doesn't work. This coach didn't work this
- 41:32year. Maybe we have to clean house and
- 41:35and that might happen because Leon Rose is on the hot seats.
- 41:39He's on a hot seat right now too, because he needs to win.
- 41:42He has gone through the first, second and now the Eastern
- 41:45Conference final, still hasn't gotten to the finals.
- 41:47This is the year they believe with no Hal Burton, Jason Tatum
- 41:51not on 100%. They are the best team in the
- 41:54Eastern Conference, the most depth.
- 41:55They have the most depth out of any team going into the Eastern
- 41:58Conference. So they should win.
- 42:01They should win. You think they got more depth
- 42:02than Boston 100%? 100% we'll get it to Boston.
- 42:06Based off what? What?
- 42:07Do you mean based off what? I'm sure Baylor.
- 42:10Shot, Do you really want me to go into that?
- 42:14I'll get it, don't worry. When they play Boston, when they
- 42:16play Boston in the second round, I promise you, I will get it
- 42:20done with your Boston Celtics. Go ahead, Fish.
- 42:23That I want to, but it's but that's a good point.
- 42:25It's a good test to have Atlanta instead of Toronto because it
- 42:28easily could have been Toronto in this game.
- 42:30But because of how the season ended, last game of the season,
- 42:33they get the Hawks. I'd rather face a good team.
- 42:37You know, iron sharpens iron, then going to face the Celtics
- 42:40because you got to be ready for that.
- 42:41Tatums back. I don't know if Tatum, I really
- 42:44don't know if he's going to be able to do like A7 game series,
- 42:47you know what I'm saying? And he's going to play 40
- 42:49minutes every game. I don't know.
- 42:51I think I, I expect him to wear out with Bridges and OG, two
- 42:55guys that are probably gonna be all NBA defense this year.
- 42:57I think OG's first team, to be honest with you, first.
- 43:00Team that's not overlooked the the halts, but I don't think
- 43:03Tatum is definitely 80 percent, 90% back.
- 43:06So. But if I remember, I remember
- 43:08Mikhail shutting him down, you know, in the few moments when he
- 43:12was healthy. No, no.
- 43:13In game three-game three of the playoffs last year.
- 43:16We can't keep living off last year momentum, OK, you guys are
- 43:19not. No, I'm just saying that's when
- 43:20Tatum was healthy and we shut him down.
- 43:23So he's 80% what you? Got on the Celtics yet?
- 43:27We real championship. Hangover, OH.
- 43:29Please. OK, all right, fine.
- 43:32Maybe the Knicks do collapse. Maybe this doesn't work for
- 43:35them. Giannis was having the best
- 43:37season of his career. Just so you know. 27.6 His
- 43:41career average is 24.1 rebounds exactly the same assists 1/2 an
- 43:46assists more a game. His shooting percentage was 7%
- 43:50higher than his career average. He was shooting 5% better at
- 43:53threes. He was 33% from downtown not
- 43:56shooting a lot. Obviously his PER the advanced
- 43:59stats, it was about 6 1/2 higher than his his career average and
- 44:04he's won MVPS. What were they doing?
- 44:06What was the team doing? Well, I'm saying he got hurt and
- 44:09it was just half season. Before, that's right, before
- 44:10that, even before that. What was that it?
- 44:12Was thought of as like the second best MVP, all right.
- 44:14We got to move on. We really he was.
- 44:16Winning. Or was he just scoring?
- 44:18Are we speaking about Giannis right?
- 44:19Now it was in Butu. It was a Butu that Doc was
- 44:22teaching. That this is not in the
- 44:23playoffs. Why are we speaking about him,
- 44:26please? I don't want to talk about
- 44:28Giannis when the Knicks get eliminated or if they move on.
- 44:31If the Knicks go to the Finals and win a championship, no
- 44:33Giannis, because he's not going to the Knicks.
- 44:35They're going to keep that roster.
- 44:36You're probably right. Honestly, Karl Anthony Towns
- 44:40should have been a Hawk, and I wouldn't be surprised if the
- 44:42Hawks are in on Karl Anthony Towns.
- 44:44If the Knicks are wanting to trade Karl Anthony Towns to
- 44:47bring in Giannis. I'm just letting you know
- 44:49because they were very much in when Karl Anthony Towns became
- 44:52free from the Timberwolves. I just want to let you know
- 44:54that. But, and I think it was, I think
- 44:57it was more important, we talked about Yannis, the New York Knits
- 44:59making it to the finals, just Fr.
- 45:00I disagree. They're gonna make it to the
- 45:02finals this year. I'm.
- 45:03Pretty sure all right. I'm praying to you for the sake
- 45:06of our show, but no. All right, let's get into the
- 45:09Raptors and the Cavaliers. The Cavaliers right now, they
- 45:13got a roster. They aided James Harden at the
- 45:15trade deadline, adding him with a guy like Donovan Mitchell,
- 45:18Evan Mobley, Jared Allen. This team is staffed.
- 45:21This is a good team, Great defensive team, good offensive
- 45:24rebounding team. One of the better rebounding
- 45:26teams in the NBA. Very well coached.
- 45:28Everybody knows what I feel about Kenny Atkinson.
- 45:31I think this team is just one of the more Dominique Young and
- 45:35veteran teams put together in this tournament.
- 45:38They're great. They're a really good team.
- 45:40I don't trust James Harden. I do not trust James Harden.
- 45:44Now, do I think they're going to beat the Raptors?
- 45:46Yeah. I mean, the Raptors have a good
- 45:48roster. They're not a bad roster.
- 45:51I like what they they they have on their team X Knicks, as we
- 45:54all know. But they have Brandon Ingram,
- 45:56Scotty Barnes, who I think he's very underrated.
- 45:58RJ Barrett, Emmanuel Quickly, this is a good roster.
- 46:01This is not a bad roster, but when you when you talk about the
- 46:06Cavaliers, the Cavaliers played at a high level all season long.
- 46:09They were fighting for that third seed with the New York
- 46:11Knicks. At some points of the season.
- 46:13They were fighting for that number two seed because they
- 46:15were matched up with the Knicks very, very well.
- 46:18But James Harden to me is not a playoff player.
- 46:20Until he proves himself to be playoff James, he's never going
- 46:24to prove to me that they can take it to the next level.
- 46:27Now, maybe with a Donovan Mitchell and Donovan Mitchell's
- 46:30leadership, I think that could help a guy like James Harden.
- 46:34This is. But again, Kawhi Leonard was a
- 46:36great, you know, leader over there with the Clippers.
- 46:38It couldn't match up very well over there.
- 46:40And they also had Paul George over there.
- 46:42So it didn't work over there. So how is it going to work with
- 46:45Donovan Mitchell? I like Evan Mobley, I like Jared
- 46:48Allen, and I think that when James Harden was traded to this
- 46:51team, Jared Allen's offense got a lot better.
- 46:54I think he became a different player on the pick and roll with
- 46:57James Harden. So I want to see that in the
- 46:59playoffs and I want to see them play team defense, which
- 47:01sometimes they disappear doing in the playoffs.
- 47:04In the regular season, they're up and down.
- 47:06I like Kenny Atkinson, but this Raptor team, as much as
- 47:10everybody says they're going to just run all over the Raptors, I
- 47:13disagree. I think the Raptors are going to
- 47:15give him a challenge. I think they're going to fight,
- 47:16they're going to claw. They're not going to win, but if
- 47:19they can bring this this series to a six game series, that's
- 47:24going to tire out guys like James Harden.
- 47:26James Harden has to prove to me that he's going to show up every
- 47:28single game, play with his heart because I saw it, saw him do
- 47:32with the Rockers, the Rockets year in and year out and he
- 47:34couldn't do it. He could not do it.
- 47:36So until he does it, I don't believe it.
- 47:39And I'm going to bet that the Raptors keep this series to
- 47:42maybe six games. Yeah, I can see that too,
- 47:44because you look at Toronto shooting percentages, a lot of
- 47:46their starting players outside of outside of Quigley, who's
- 47:4944.3, they all have good shooting percentages and they
- 47:52have a good defensive team. They've long team, they've
- 47:54always built their team on good defensive depth that way.
- 47:57And I think with Cleveland, they have a good defensive team, not
- 48:00as good as last year or the year before when I believe the year
- 48:02before they had the number one defense in the league that year.
- 48:05And that's going to be a big key.
- 48:06How much you can trust James Harden to just be a shooter, not
- 48:09be a guy that just hogs the ball because Donovan Mitchell's
- 48:11already a very high usage rate guy as it is.
- 48:13And they have actually good bench depth this year when it
- 48:15comes to scoring with DeAndre hunting.
- 48:16Sir Jalen Tyson's been a nice pleasant surprise for them and
- 48:20Kenny Atkinson is very good with those types of teams.
- 48:21I agree with you. I think it'll be either like
- 48:23Cavs at a hard fought 5 or 6 type series.
- 48:26I do favor them right now with the experience.
- 48:28So that's what I'm going to say. Cleveland should sweep down.
- 48:32I don't see it going no more than five.
- 48:34It's interesting you say you don't trust James Harden, but he
- 48:36was scoring like he was averaging like 28 during that
- 48:39Houston Rocket run that year. But I guess, yeah.
- 48:42How many threes did he miss in that Game 7?
- 48:44How many free throws did he win? That's what I'm saying.
- 48:46He gave you 28. That is a good amount of points.
- 48:50I won three for 17. Over there, listen, the
- 48:54percentage doesn't. Reminds me of John Starks.
- 48:57Remember that? So I remember that pretty well
- 48:59in 90. 4 But I think, I think Cleveland comes out of this
- 49:03easily. The Raptors don't really got
- 49:05much shout out to BI. He's from my hometown.
- 49:08But yeah, the Raptors don't really have much.
- 49:10I do think they'll play hard, play tough, but they just don't
- 49:12have a lot outside of the scoring.
- 49:16Scoring wise and being impactful, they don't really do
- 49:19well on the defensive end as well.
- 49:21So I would say Cleveland wins this four O 41 and this really
- 49:25isn't really a test of what's going to be what's going to be
- 49:28the difference maker is whether or not Cleveland is making
- 49:31shots. If they making shots, then it'll
- 49:33be a blowout. If they not, then the Raptors
- 49:35are kind of stay within reach. But I I still got Cleveland
- 49:39pulling this out. They got James Harden, they got
- 49:41Mobley, they got Jay Allen being a true pure big.
- 49:45You know how to do this? Pick and roll Mobley stretching
- 49:47the floor. I could see them beating them
- 49:50404. Then there's the Sixers and the
- 49:52Celtics, and I know where Q is going to go.
- 49:55The Celtics running away with this series.
- 49:58Not necessarily. It's not going to be as easy as
- 50:01he thinks it is. I Paul George is going to be
- 50:04playing this series. They're going to get that.
- 50:06Yeah, he's going to be playing this.
- 50:07Season you reference Paul Joyce as an impact.
- 50:09Player No, I didn't say his impact, but he's going to give
- 50:11you something. That was the first play you
- 50:13mentioned. Well, because he's one of those
- 50:15guys that are going to give you points.
- 50:17And then you have a guy like Tyrese Maxi who I think if he
- 50:20shows up and he gives you 30 points, he's going to keep this
- 50:22team in this series that I know everybody's going to say without
- 50:27Joel Embiid, this team is not going to challenge the Celtics.
- 50:30That Celtics problem all season long was their size.
- 50:33I I still think that they're going to give him the most
- 50:35problems out of any of the teams facing off in the first round in
- 50:38the Eastern Conference. And there's a lot of reasons
- 50:40why. And I think Tyrese Maxi has has
- 50:43proven to him to be a superstar in his league.
- 50:45I think people forget how great he is because he plays on the
- 50:4776ers and he's got 2 butt munches, 2 big mouths over there
- 50:52that don't shut up. They think they're better than
- 50:54they are when they're not. I'm not saying Paul George isn't
- 50:56a great player, he hasn't been a great player, but he's not worth
- 50:59SGA and Williams. I'm sorry, he's nowhere close to
- 51:02those kind of talent, talented young players.
- 51:04But again, that's the Clippers. I'm not the Clippers GM and I
- 51:07and I would fire the Clippers GM.
- 51:09The other I would, I would tell the owner to sell the team after
- 51:12what he did. All right, But here's the fact.
- 51:15The Celtics are the better team. There's no argument to that.
- 51:18Jaylen Brown has had a great season.
- 51:20Jayson Tatum is a great playoff player against some teams.
- 51:25So there are throughout the his career.
- 51:29He hasn't showed up in some games against some series.
- 51:31But Jason Tatum is not going to play more than 2728 minutes.
- 51:34He's not He's coming back from an Achilles tear.
- 51:38That is a unique injury for a player and he's what, 2829 years
- 51:43old? I'm not saying Jason Tatum is
- 51:45not going to be put his stamp to this this series.
- 51:48He's going to put his stamp. I think their coach, and I'll
- 51:51say this, the Celtics coach for the first time in his ton taking
- 51:55over this team, I would say this was his best coaching job of his
- 52:00career. I think it I really, I have to
- 52:03say it's me. Am I wrong?
- 52:04No, I hate them all year. For you got two seed.
- 52:06I thought it'd be a five seed. This was his best coaching.
- 52:10This was his. This was his best coaching year.
- 52:13I I've never been too fond of coaching and and you like
- 52:17putting your hands up. I don't.
- 52:18Know what I would actually I want?
- 52:19I want to interrupt just one quick second.
- 52:20What are you? Are you admitting that coaching
- 52:23matters now? No, I didn't say that.
- 52:26I. Didn't say that.
- 52:27He just did a great job. I didn't say that.
- 52:32I didn't say that the regular season means nothing.
- 52:36It's all about the playoffs. I've been saying this over and
- 52:39over and over again. The NBA regular season means
- 52:43nothing. It means nothing.
- 52:44It goes 00 when the playoffs start.
- 52:47I got to see what he does in the playoffs and I've seen I've seen
- 52:49him go out there to the media after the games, losing against
- 52:52the Knicks and then waving his waving the flag when he played
- 52:55against this team and that team and not giving him answers and
- 52:58all over the place. I, I, I know what the Celtics
- 53:02and what management likes to do over there, but I like the
- 53:05Celtics in this series. I think they're much better than
- 53:08the 76ers. But I still think this is going
- 53:10to go six games. I think they're, they're going
- 53:12to be thorns and the Celtics asses.
- 53:14They are going to be thorns. And it's this is not going to be
- 53:17an easy ride for the the Boston Celtics.
- 53:20They're not winning in in four games.
- 53:22You can bet that they're not winning in four games.
- 53:24Yeah, Tyrese Maxi has been an unbelievable playoff player even
- 53:27when even that COVID shortened year when he's a rookie, I
- 53:30believe the Sixers made and well, Ben Simmons and other guys
- 53:32didn't show up in that series and I think they got swept.
- 53:34He still played very well and he played very well against the
- 53:36Knicks two years ago too, when the Knicks beat them in five
- 53:38games and a lot of the other guys disappeared.
- 53:40Now we talked about all year the Celtic size being kind of a
- 53:42question mark, but Philly size without him, Beat is very thin
- 53:45as well and. That's why I think the Celtics
- 53:48are going to run away with this game.
- 53:49Yeah, that's why I do too. I kind of feel like it's a 5
- 53:52game series because the 76ers don't have that.
- 53:55Like 2 years ago they had decent power forward depth and and
- 53:58front court depth. I don't really see there's more
- 54:00wing depth with this team this year with Nick's legend Quinton
- 54:03Grimes. They drafted Edgecomb early on.
- 54:04It's more of that team that's built to stop the three.
- 54:06They have a good primer defense, but I think the Celtics could
- 54:08still dominate inside enough even with that.
- 54:10And Q, you're right, the Celtics do have some good shooting
- 54:12depths too with their forwards with the from the three.
- 54:17Yeah, I have this game series going probably 4-1 Max.
- 54:24At the end of the day, I don't think that.
- 54:26The. Well, put the team together.
- 54:28I think that you know Max, he would get his points, he would
- 54:31score. Obviously he would be taking a
- 54:32lot of his shots. Paul George would probably be a
- 54:35seller himself based off the defensive sets and schemes that
- 54:38they put together to guard him. But I think that what we're
- 54:42misunderstanding about the sensors is the depth that we
- 54:45have in regards to our bench and what we did.
- 54:47I mean, we just had played our whole bench versus Orlando Magic
- 54:51and actually beat them. So, you know, I think that was a
- 54:54testament to show you how deep we actually are in regards to
- 54:57depth on the bench. Guys can score.
- 55:00Obviously. You got your, your, your, your
- 55:02main 4. You got Jason Tatum, you got
- 55:04Jaylen Brown, you got Derek. Why you got pain picture?
- 55:07You know you got guys all over the place that can score at will
- 55:11and also we take defenses very serious.
- 55:13So I I see this game going 4142 no 4041 tops without embiid.
- 55:20I don't think they have a middle present.
- 55:22Like y'all said before they're short, they're very thin on the
- 55:25inside and I think Katie will have a field day and you know, I
- 55:30just think they're just outmatched in so many areas that
- 55:32I don't think they'll be able to keep up.
- 55:34So I got this series going 404 one at the best.
- 55:37Magic or Hornets? We we could go back and forth.
- 55:41I think the Hornets are going to win this this, this playing game
- 55:45against the Magic. I think the Magic could going to
- 55:47close. They're going to fire their
- 55:48coach at the end of this season. I think they're going to be
- 55:51looking for a new coach. This is a good young roster, but
- 55:54they still haven't developed their star players, their young
- 55:57players and I think they're going to be looking for somebody
- 55:59else that can develop it. But Detroit.
- 56:01I expect them against the Hornets or the Magic to win the
- 56:05series. But I'm going to tell you this
- 56:07right now, if the Hornets play them in that series, it's going
- 56:11to be back and forth offense to offense.
- 56:13They don't. The Hornets don't play defense.
- 56:15But if it's a high scoring game and that's the way the Pistons
- 56:18want to play the game, I'm going to tell you right now the
- 56:21Hornets can win that series. The that that Detroit has to
- 56:24play defense. They got to play tight defense
- 56:27against this team. Throw Lamello off the ball, make
- 56:30him force the ball into places and shoot the ball into places
- 56:33he's uncomfortable doing. He is not Steph Curry.
- 56:35And I expect the Pistons to win four games to one.
- 56:38But if that's an all out running gun, don't be surprised if
- 56:43Charlotte challenges him all the way to seven games.
- 56:45Yeah, I mean, it's interesting because I agree with you.
- 56:47I think the Hornets do win against the Magic.
- 56:48I think Orlando will pose an interesting test though for
- 56:51Detroit comparatively because of their size with Ponchero and
- 56:54with Wagner inside and even Wagner's brother coming off the
- 56:59bench too, is a good defender, not a great offensive player.
- 57:01But that's what's interesting about Orlando.
- 57:03I always thought they were a team of the future type thing
- 57:05that never really amounts to that because of injuries.
- 57:07And Charlotte, like you said, are all they could definitely
- 57:09get a shoot out with you if they could play a fast-paced game.
- 57:12And Detroit, can they get the depth scoring wise.
- 57:15They definitely have guys that have come along, Duncan,
- 57:17Robinson, Tobias Harris, these surprise players.
- 57:20I always like Robinson of a bad contract with them.
- 57:22Obviously the whole G and Ivy scandal, they've rallied around
- 57:24that and still played very well and held the one seed.
- 57:26So I think if it's if it's Hornets, I think it's five
- 57:28games. I think Charlotte steals won at
- 57:29home. If it's Orlando, it's going to
- 57:31be a very tough, bruising type series though.
- 57:33And that could wear the Pistons down against the Cavs in the
- 57:35next round. I don't think Orlando is going
- 57:38to even put up a fight, dude. There's they're just on a
- 57:42spiral. I would be very interested if I
- 57:46am a team with a top pick that might be, I would say maybe #5
- 57:51even #4 if you're not sold on Caleb Wilson.
- 57:54I'm if they lose this game, Orlando Paulo Ponchero is going
- 57:58to be available. They're going to be looking for
- 58:00a package and it's going to include a top five pick in this
- 58:03year's draft. I've been hearing this in
- 58:05multiple outlets this week already that it's either him or
- 58:09Franz. And since they got Franz's
- 58:11brother too, you're not getting as much for Franz.
- 58:13He's been hurt. So what, they play the same
- 58:16position. This is the problem, right?
- 58:18They're not playing well together.
- 58:19They they don't work well together.
- 58:21That's why it's the code to be the first scapegoat, if that.
- 58:23Happens. They're not the he is.
- 58:25But what if you know whoever gets the 4th pick in the lottery
- 58:29isn't sold on Caleb Wilson to stay healthy?
- 58:31And they want, Yeah. You're going to bet on the Yeah,
- 58:37but you're but. Apollo is only year 4, right?
- 58:40Yeah, yeah, yeah. But that's what the NBA is built
- 58:43off of. It's young and potential.
- 58:45They're not going to chance a lot of repeat for somebody that.
- 58:48I mean this is number one guy though.
- 58:50This is. No, I'm not saying that Pablo is
- 58:52a good guy. I'm just saying that they're not
- 58:54going to chance that or take that and then Pablo not going to
- 58:57leave Orlando. He's the franchise player, so
- 58:59he's going to stay there. Him and Bane is going to stay
- 59:02locked in with Orlando. But in regards to this series
- 59:04with Charlotte, they're not going to win it.
- 59:06I think they're going to take out, like you said, fish.
- 59:08They're swirling. So I think they're going to take
- 59:10out. I think there are rumors are
- 59:12about the coach in regards to this is his last games, So I
- 59:17wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even play Pablo or they
- 59:20you know, if he just take it out and let the bitch come out
- 59:22there, let the bitch come out there and let them play like I'm
- 59:26excited that your job is done. So it's not like they could, you
- 59:29know, it's not like you don't already know the wall, the
- 59:32rightness on the wall. So I think Charlotte comes out
- 59:34of that. I think they match up well bar
- 59:36play wise with Detroit. Here's the thing with Charlotte,
- 59:40the Mello gets into this mode where he really do take it back
- 59:44to the playground. Now, I it is great for
- 59:46entertainment and I do think that it works more often than
- 59:50none. But when it comes to playoff
- 59:52series, I would be surprised if he's able to get some of those
- 59:58shots out, being that it would get more physical and he would
- 1:00:01get less calls than he'd been getting.
- 1:00:03I think they celebrated way too early in regards to that play
- 1:00:06and victory that they won the other night versus Miami, but.
- 1:00:10And so that lets me know right now they're not really
- 1:00:12interested in, you know, going too far in the playoffs.
- 1:00:15They kind of already had that championship run, but I think
- 1:00:18that they would probably do anywhere between.
- 1:00:21I think it's a 4140 type situation.
- 1:00:24I, I, I do like Charlotte. They are hot right now, but I
- 1:00:27look at them like I look at Atlanta as well.
- 1:00:29They're young and I think they right there on the edge.
- 1:00:32They probably about a year away before they actually make some
- 1:00:34noise. Let's get to the Western
- 1:00:36Conference. We're going.
- 1:00:36We're going too long to argue about Detroit and Charlotte and
- 1:00:39Magic. I mean, we're arguing.
- 1:00:41About teams. We're arguing hell because no I.
- 1:00:45I don't have to spill anything I already.
- 1:00:47Told you what was going to happen. 30 minutes.
- 1:00:49What are you? What are you talking about?
- 1:00:52I went through that pretty damn quick.
- 1:00:54Go ahead. Rockets in the Lakers now.
- 1:00:56Luka Dajik not playing. Austin Reeves not playing.
- 1:00:59We all know what's going to happen.
- 1:01:01I told you, this is the year of the Rockets.
- 1:01:03I believe it is. I really do.
- 1:01:05I think they're very well coached.
- 1:01:06Kevin Durant, Segan Thompson, This is a good team.
- 1:01:09Very well, very good depth they had, they had to work.
- 1:01:13Worry about the guard play. That's been a problem all season
- 1:01:15long since fan fleet got hurt before the season started.
- 1:01:19But I think that this team is born to win this series.
- 1:01:23I don't know if Lebron's going to be able to hold it on his
- 1:01:25shoulders. Is he going to trust Bronie
- 1:01:27James, your number one guy? Going.
- 1:01:30To happen, it's not going to happen.
- 1:01:32I expect the Rockets to win four games to 1.
- 1:01:34I think they run all over the Lakers in this series.
- 1:01:38Yeah, I do too, especially if Luca doesn't come back until
- 1:01:40later in the series. Like how much are you going to
- 1:01:41be able? To even if he comes back.
- 1:01:43He's going to be rusty and that's why that's where I think
- 1:01:45it's. Going to be very Game 5.
- 1:01:46Yeah, exactly. And I think none of these guys
- 1:01:48on the Lakers bench outside of probably.
- 1:01:51Outside of probably, is that really that great of shooting of
- 1:01:53a three? They're not good.
- 1:01:54I know. And that that's where Houston is
- 1:01:56vulnerable. Like you said, they're back
- 1:01:57courts a little questionable. They're three points.
- 1:01:59Guard play is the is. The problem I know, and that's
- 1:02:01where the Rockets I think can make it work in this series,
- 1:02:04especially now long term, I do worry about that kind of thing
- 1:02:06if they go to the second round. But I agree, I think four games
- 1:02:09to 1. Yeah, I'm gonna go with I think
- 1:02:12they're going to go 41. Katie is my guy.
- 1:02:15And I do think the Rockets are the better team.
- 1:02:17But I think LeBron is going to show us something that we
- 1:02:20haven't, you know, that we doubt that he can do at the age of 41.
- 1:02:23I mean, he's had he's had a couple 30 point games this
- 1:02:26season already. But I think that, you know,
- 1:02:29Rockets inability to shoot and their inconsistency may catch up
- 1:02:33with them for a game and it may take it to five, but I don't see
- 1:02:36it going past five. But Lebrons and Brownie James on
- 1:02:39the court. Stop with this garbage.
- 1:02:53Oh my God. And then there's the
- 1:02:55Timberwolves in the Nuggets. Now this series is interesting.
- 1:02:59Anthony Edwards is not 100% healthy.
- 1:03:00That's going to be a problem. But Julius Randall, Rudy Gobert,
- 1:03:03this is a team that's loaded and they have gone far with this
- 1:03:07roster before. But I, something tells me that
- 1:03:11Nicola Yokich is going to lead this team through this series.
- 1:03:15Jamal Murray's had a good year when you look at his numbers,
- 1:03:17they're good, but a lot of their secondary players have been up
- 1:03:20and down and, and they can't stay healthy.
- 1:03:23But with Nicola Yokich and as long as he's 100% healthy going
- 1:03:27into this series, I think they're going to ride and die
- 1:03:29with him. I believe this series is not
- 1:03:31going past six games. I, I, I think Nicola Yokich is
- 1:03:35going to take over the series triple double.
- 1:03:37I think he might have a quadruple double in this series
- 1:03:40in some of these games. I'm telling you, I just don't
- 1:03:42trust Anthony Edwards. We don't even know how healthy
- 1:03:45he is. He's playing this.
- 1:03:47He's really not. He's rushing back because they
- 1:03:50need. Him know how he played in the.
- 1:03:52I remember we got that. I remember you said that.
- 1:03:55I remember you said that. Just remember you said that.
- 1:03:57But I have the Nuggets, went four games to do.
- 1:03:59Yeah, Anthony Edwards cute like you're saying, does have a good
- 1:04:01a lot of good volume games. He has had some disappearing
- 1:04:03acts too, but a lot of good volume games in the playoffs.
- 1:04:05I like Minnesota size inside to make it very interesting.
- 1:04:08I it's interesting because I think the Nuggets defense is
- 1:04:11going to be in question. But Minnesota is a lot like
- 1:04:13Houston. Do they have enough outside of
- 1:04:14Edwards Ross shooting ability to make that series competitive?
- 1:04:18I don't think it's going to be a walk through for Denver, but I
- 1:04:20still think they have the edge right now with the depth and
- 1:04:22just the unknown. Minnesota.
- 1:04:24And I've been, I've been duped by Minnesota in rounds passed
- 1:04:26by. I think Denver after losing them
- 1:04:28two years ago, I think gets their event.
- 1:04:29I'm going to say four games to two, but it's going to be a
- 1:04:31tough series. Yeah, I think Jayden McDaniels
- 1:04:35his name, right, Yes, Yeah, I think he's the he's the Ant
- 1:04:37factor for Minnesota, obviously. Yeah, obviously it's led by Ant
- 1:04:43and when he come back, he's going to be the main threat from
- 1:04:46the Minnesota. But I don't, I think this game
- 1:04:48go to six. I think this game go to six to
- 1:04:50seven, my thing, Anthony was going to show up, show out, do
- 1:04:54what he do. Jenny McDonald is going to do
- 1:04:55his thing. Judas Randall, you know, he'll
- 1:04:58be consistent. He'll do what he do.
- 1:05:00And yeah, he's more, he's more, you know that in between if
- 1:05:04factor and it's going to it's going to be whether or not Eric
- 1:05:07Gordon can match his play or whatnot.
- 1:05:10So I think that, you know, they got a great chance of taking
- 1:05:13this to 7. Jamal married, like I said, had
- 1:05:15a Goodyear, but I don't think that he's going to be no way
- 1:05:18that much of it. No way quadruple double by no
- 1:05:21way at all. I'm willing to bet on that.
- 1:05:22This is not going seven games. No way, no way.
- 1:05:26No way. No way.
- 1:05:27Well, you know the same guy that you said is not ready, he you
- 1:05:30know not. I'm just letting him.
- 1:05:32I'm just letting you know. Like the Hall of Fame.
- 1:05:34This is not going seven games. They'll be lucky if it goes 6,
- 1:05:38lucky if it goes 6, and then there's the number 7 Trail
- 1:05:43Blazers and the Spurs. Now everybody thinks the Spurs
- 1:05:47are going to run away with this series.
- 1:05:49Everybody out of. Israel.
- 1:05:51He he has been unbelievable. He's turning into a superstar in
- 1:05:55the league and, and you like to see this kid from Israel really
- 1:05:58developing without Chauncey Billups, with all the stuff
- 1:06:02that's gone on over there, you, you would wonder how did the
- 1:06:05Trail Blazers sneak into the playoffs this year?
- 1:06:07But it's in, it's very impressive.
- 1:06:09And it wasn't because of Henderson.
- 1:06:10Let's let's be honest, it has not been because of Henderson,
- 1:06:13but it's been very, very impressive what they've done.
- 1:06:16But they're walking into a they're walking into a saw, a
- 1:06:20saw of just complete dominance. And if you look at the San
- 1:06:24Antonio Spurs, not only webbing Yama, you got Castle.
- 1:06:28Dylan Harper's not healthy, but he's going to be back in the
- 1:06:31series. Devin Vassell.
- 1:06:33This is this is a team that has a lot of depth.
- 1:06:35Very, very good. Luke Command, this is a good
- 1:06:39team. This is a good overall team.
- 1:06:41Great offense, great defense, bigs, good guard play.
- 1:06:45They're going to be very, very dangerous throughout the
- 1:06:47playoffs. I think they're, they'll be more
- 1:06:50interesting in the second round. I, I, I congratulate the Trail
- 1:06:54Blazers making the playoffs and least making the first round,
- 1:06:56but they're done. There's no way they're going.
- 1:06:59They're going through the Spurs. I think Spurs win four games to
- 1:07:02none. They run all over the Trail
- 1:07:04Blazers. Yeah, this is a tough match up
- 1:07:06for a team in Portland that outside of Donovan, Klingon does
- 1:07:08not have a lot of size at Viha is a 24.2 points per game scorer
- 1:07:12in the regular season. Good all around Shooter.
- 1:07:15But again, this is a system on defense that obviously is not
- 1:07:18Gregg Popovich, but it's very it's very similar to the
- 1:07:21concepts that he likes to run where they're really very
- 1:07:23physical on those wings. And I think it's just too much
- 1:07:25depth of the Spurs have too with Harper, even if Harper's not
- 1:07:28100% is coming off the bench. You got Kelvin Johnson,
- 1:07:30underrated guy, drafted by Kentucky from Kentucky.
- 1:07:33Champani's been very good off the bench.
- 1:07:35They have enough guys that are double digit scores as well.
- 1:07:37I agree this is a sweep. Yeah, I'm going 4 O as well.
- 1:07:41I don't see nothing that Portland has.
- 1:07:43What's the guy name again? Danny Avia They also get shaved
- 1:07:47in sharp 20 point score this year too.
- 1:07:50Yeah, but I I when you look at that last play and get they had
- 1:07:52they had terrible with space and he obviously he had a hell of a
- 1:07:56game and he was able to get in and and create some momentum
- 1:07:59with the air wars and being aggressive again to the basket.
- 1:08:03But there's no way he could do that with Luke in there and
- 1:08:05Winby in the middle. I see this going nowhere fast.
- 1:08:08I think this is a four O bring out the grooms.
- 1:08:11It kind of reminds me of how remember the Knicks when they
- 1:08:14first started going good and Julius Randle was doing the give
- 1:08:18me the ball, I'll do everything type of offense in the playoffs
- 1:08:21and it didn't work at all. That's what I see going to
- 1:08:23happen in this series. I think you're right.
- 1:08:24Four row boys and then that's it.
- 1:08:28And then there's the Golden State Warriors.
- 1:08:30Now they have to. They have to beat the Suns, and
- 1:08:33I think they're going to beat the Suns.
- 1:08:34I really do. But if they beat the Suns, watch
- 1:08:37out for the Golden State Warriors.
- 1:08:39I'm telling you right now, I know, OK, C, they're smiling,
- 1:08:42they're happy. They're playing either the Suns
- 1:08:45or they're playing the Warriors, and the Warriors look like
- 1:08:48they're going to be easy. Not if Steph Curry is healthy.
- 1:08:50I'm telling you right now, if the Warriors beat the Suns,
- 1:08:53which I believe they will, I think they could run right
- 1:08:56through the Suns. After what they did to the
- 1:08:58Clippers, I think they run right over.
- 1:09:00Steph Curry could take over a game by himself.
- 1:09:03And if they're matched up against the Thunder, as good as
- 1:09:05the Thunder is, they do not want to play a healthy Steph Curry in
- 1:09:09the playoffs. He's got, he wants to prove
- 1:09:11himself. Could you imagine Steph Curry
- 1:09:14and the Warriors take this series to seven games?
- 1:09:16I I'm not saying it's going to happen, but could it happen?
- 1:09:20Yeah. If Steph Curry scores 40 points
- 1:09:22and gets these guys to play behind them, rebound and do
- 1:09:25everything and he can take over a game.
- 1:09:27We've seen him do it before. I'd be worried if I was OK C,
- 1:09:30that I have to match up against Steph Curry.
- 1:09:32Yes, SGA, Sensational Williams, all the talent that they have,
- 1:09:36they got great size, they got great everything.
- 1:09:40To me, you do not want to play the Warriors.
- 1:09:44I'd rather play the Suns. I do not want to play Steph
- 1:09:47Curry. And I know Steph Curry's licking
- 1:09:49his lips. Could you imagine if Steph Curry
- 1:09:51beats the OKC Thunder, the Champions from last year, and
- 1:09:55say I've done what I need to do. I don't have to win a
- 1:09:57championship. I did what I had to do.
- 1:09:59I knocked off the Champions. I knocked off the Buzzards, the
- 1:10:04team that nobody can beat, the team that everybody says is
- 1:10:07unstoppable, the OKC Thunder. I'm telling you right now, watch
- 1:10:11out. Don't tell me, watch out.
- 1:10:14Fish Guess what we get to get in this game, too.
- 1:10:16We get Draymond Green versus Dylan Brooks again, which means
- 1:10:19you can. Bring like.
- 1:10:19That like lab graphic you had last year?
- 1:10:22I definitely made some Draymond Dylan Brooks graphics that
- 1:10:25should be fun. He'll in this playing game that
- 1:10:28they beat the Clippers in. Porzingis played 28 minutes at
- 1:10:3220 points, 8 of 12 shooting, 3 of 6 from 3, five boards, 5
- 1:10:37assists, 2 blocks. That works.
- 1:10:40If they can get that out of him, that means it'll be they have a
- 1:10:44chance to do something. That means it'll be if the
- 1:10:45Warriors wait, it'll be Nick's legend Percepts Porzingis versus
- 1:10:48Nick's legend Isaiah Heart inside I'm.
- 1:10:50Telling you. I don't expect it.
- 1:10:52Well, I think Chet would be on him, right?
- 1:10:53And that's really how they would handle it.
- 1:10:55And it's kind of a similar player, but younger, more
- 1:10:57athletic and better version of Porzingis today, right?
- 1:11:00But Porzingis has the size Chet. Chet weighs like 200 lbs soaking
- 1:11:03wet. So but he don't bang.
- 1:11:06Well, I that's, that's the thing.
- 1:11:07How healthy is Porzingis? Right, Right.
- 1:11:09Is is he healthy because he's has that weird condition.
- 1:11:11We don't even know what it is. They won't tell us what his
- 1:11:14condition is. It's some weird type of health
- 1:11:16issue that he can't play, you know, as many minutes back.
- 1:11:19Yeah. That same problem with the
- 1:11:20Celtics, too, when they wouldn't reveal his injuries.
- 1:11:22I, I think it might be like a genetic thing.
- 1:11:23He's just going to have to live with the whole they.
- 1:11:25They don't want to tell anybody what it is.
- 1:11:27Yeah, I picked the Suns the way I know it sounds as crazy as it
- 1:11:30is. I think the Warriors has been a
- 1:11:33terrible show all year. Definitely congratulations there
- 1:11:36for being the Clippers. I think most of the Clippers
- 1:11:38beat themselves was a costly turnover on a out of bounds play
- 1:11:42and and then Kawhi got picked off by Draymond.
- 1:11:46That was, you know, one of those free 1 offs and whatnot.
- 1:11:50But I think the Warriors don't that they're not going to
- 1:11:54perform versus the Sun. I think the Sun is going to make
- 1:11:56the necessary defense adjustments that they should
- 1:11:58have made versus Portland, which is going to get in the edge.
- 1:12:01I can see Dylan Brooks and Draymond Green having a field
- 1:12:05day of memes and all kinds of crazy acts.
- 1:12:08And it's it's going to be a good day.
- 1:12:09But I think the Phoenix Kapoor is this one now.
- 1:12:11That's why I think this is like kind of their Super Bowl for
- 1:12:13them. That's why I think the Suns win,
- 1:12:16too, because I think it'll be a chippy game and they're they're
- 1:12:18a better defensive team. And either way, I think OK C
- 1:12:20sweeps the other one. And the refs been letting them
- 1:12:22play like Steph couldn't get a call last night.
- 1:12:25He was getting banged up and they wouldn't give him no call.
- 1:12:27So I think it's it's going to be very rough for them to come out
- 1:12:30of that. So you're saying Steph looks
- 1:12:32like at the star treatment like SGAQ?
- 1:12:34Yeah, he won't get no star treatment.
- 1:12:35We'll see. I'm telling you, he's the
- 1:12:38Warriors. Steph still got 35 though.
- 1:12:40Yeah, he's Warriors. The Warriors are going to.
- 1:12:42Win first half he had like 8 they're.
- 1:12:44Going to win, I'm telling you, they're going to get out of that
- 1:12:46series. They're going to get out of that
- 1:12:47game against. I believe they're beating the
- 1:12:49Suns. I don't know if they get out of
- 1:12:51OKC, and I'm not saying they will, but I think they're going
- 1:12:53to give. They're going to give.
- 1:12:55If they match up against OKC, trust me, they're not going to
- 1:12:58run all over the Warriors. I'm telling you right?
- 1:13:00Now it adds to the SGA non playing fourth quarter stat.
- 1:13:05That's what we would do. That's what's going to happen.
- 1:13:07If that shows up, if they show up at the doorsteps, are they
- 1:13:09seeing the player? I don't know what you're
- 1:13:11drinking tonight. You're lost.
- 1:13:12I'm telling you, you're lost. Holy water.
- 1:13:17Could I drown you in that holy water?
- 1:13:19I mean, seriously? Anyways, my deuce of the day.
- 1:13:23The deuce of the day. You log.
- 1:13:26Not a log. I don't have a log but.
- 1:13:35All right, so that was a little loud.
- 1:13:37My deuce of the day goes to Tiger Woods.
- 1:13:40Tiger Woods seems like he's in every single story out there.
- 1:13:45Tiger Woods attorney is fighting prosecutors right now and
- 1:13:48attempts to subpoena the 15 time major champions of prescription
- 1:13:54drug records from the pharmacy. According to court records filed
- 1:13:58Wednesday, in a response to the state's motion for a subpoena,
- 1:14:03attorney Douglas Duncan wrote that Woods has to a
- 1:14:08constitutional right to privacy interests in the prescription
- 1:14:13records and request a hearing to to hearing to determine whether
- 1:14:18prosecutors should be allowed to obtain Woods records on filing
- 1:14:24at Lewis Pharmacy in Palm A, Palm Beach, FL.
- 1:14:28So the story is his attorney doesn't want this to come out,
- 1:14:32but prosecutors want it to come out.
- 1:14:33They want to know what he's taking, what he's eating, doing.
- 1:14:36But the fight is on. Tiger Woods is arguing or his
- 1:14:41lawyer is arguing away out of this mysterious thought that he
- 1:14:46wasn't on anything. He wasn't taking any drugs.
- 1:14:49Yeah, right. I mean, Tiger Woods has done a
- 1:14:52lot of crazy things. I'm telling you right now, this
- 1:14:55story is going to get worse if it is Vicodins, Perkins,
- 1:14:59Percocets or Oxycontins. And what he was taking, he was
- 1:15:02driving under the influence. It only he tells you one thing.
- 1:15:06This guy doesn't care about anybody but himself and he's
- 1:15:08going to kill somebody if he doesn't, somebody doesn't stop
- 1:15:10him. So that is my do so today for
- 1:15:13Tiger friggin Woods. Wonderful.
- 1:15:16He's just a wonderful guy. He's Q's best buddy.
- 1:15:19I don't know. He's his best buddy.

- 1:15:27Great Father. Yeah, great father, wonderful
- 1:15:29father, wonderful father. What are the basic influence I?
- 1:15:33Had a few, had a few here. Yeah, a wonderful father.
- 1:15:37He flips cars over like they wear chewbles.
- 1:15:39And yeah, you know what else he does?
- 1:15:42He teaches. His son how to drink and drive
- 1:15:45or get messed up or how about this just Ram Jam all these
- 1:15:50prostitutes that's difference. To wonderful Let's go.
- 1:15:55Tiger wants to sleep. With somebody bring the done.
- 1:15:57What's what's his son's name? Charlie, I believe.
- 1:16:00Charlie, let's bring Charlie. Let's bring Charlie.

- 1:16:06that? The Bunny mansion over there in

- 1:16:13Take him to the Bunny Shack. Yeah, we'll do that.
- 1:16:15We'll take him to the Bunny Shack.
- 1:16:16That's what we'll. Do maybe we'll have to get our

- 1:16:31No, don't say, because we don't. He's innocent.
- 1:16:33Oh, he's innocent. Yeah, he had it.
- 1:16:35Is he? He flipped the car, but he's
- 1:16:37innocent, you know, of all these allegations at the time.
- 1:16:40He's innocent. He wasn't on anything, even
- 1:16:41though he didn't want to take any tests.
- 1:16:43Yeah, Innocent that. Yeah.
- 1:16:44You have the right to refuse it. I'll give you the low.
- 1:16:47I'll give you the. Right to take a dump.
