  to discourage your heart today. Every

  discouraging devil assigned against your

  life. Every spirit said to wear you
• 0:11
  down, weaken your resolve, poison your
• 0:14
  perspective, make you abandon the will
• 0:17
  of God. I bind you, and I command you to
• 0:19
  loose your hold on God's people. Now,
• 0:22
  every demon whispering failure, defeat,
• 0:26
  hopelessness, delay, disappointment, or
• 0:29
  anything of the sorts into the minds of
• 0:32
  God's people, I say be silenced now in
• 0:35
  Jesus name. Every spirit magnifying the
• 0:38
  battle, exaggerating the resistance and
• 0:41
  making the promise look impossible, I've
• 0:43
  exposed your operations and I command
• 0:46
  you to depart in the name of Jesus.
• 0:48
  every discouraging spirit working
• 0:51
  through repeated setbacks, unanswered
• 0:53
  questions, delayed results, criticism,
• 0:56
  isolation, exhaustion. Your assignment
• 0:59
  is hereby broken in Jesus name. You will
• 1:02
  not use circumstances to preach defeat
• 1:04
  to God's people. You will not use people
• 1:06
  to drain our strength. You will not use
• 1:09
  delay to make us doubt. I break your
• 1:12
  powers. Every demon assigned to make us
• 1:14
  lose heart, lose focus, lose confidence
• 1:17
  and lose momentum. I say you come out
• 1:19
  now in Jesus name. Every spirit feeding
• 1:22
  heaviness, frustration, despair and
• 1:25
  emotional fatigue be uprooted and driven
• 1:28
  out. I cancel every demonic cycle of
• 1:30
  discouragement. I break every satanic
• 1:32
  pattern of one blow after the other. I
• 1:35
  command every spirit hiding behind
• 1:38
  disappointment to be exposed. Every
• 1:40
  discouraging demon attached to past
• 1:42
  failures, past memories, betrayal,
• 1:45
  rejection, or prolonged warfare, I say
• 1:47
  release God's people now. Your
• 1:49
  assignment is terminated. Your influence
• 1:51
  is broken in Jesus name. Amen. And amen.

  I'm going to read today's devotional in

  a minute. I want to encourage your heart
• 2:05
  deeply before we pray today. But
• 2:07
  remember, the victory thoughts challenge
• 2:09
  is here. Get into this because your your
• 2:12
  your thoughts determine your life. And
• 2:15
  if you're thinking thoughts of defeat,
• 2:17
  thoughts of discouragement, thoughts of
• 2:19
  overwhelm, thoughts of lack, thoughts of
• 2:22
  pain, if you're thinking those kinds of
• 2:24
  thoughts, you're going to get those
• 2:25
  kinds of results. That's just the way it
• 2:27
  is. As a man thinks in his heart, so is
• 2:29
  he. Is what Proverbs says. And I want
• 2:31
  you to get into the victory thoughts
• 2:33
  challenge while you can. This is 14
• 2:35
  days. It's going to change your life and
• 2:37
  you're going to love it. So check that
• 2:38

  And now I want to share uh with you
• 2:44
  today a little bit about discouragement
• 2:46
  to encourage your heart before we pray.
• 2:52
  You know the battle is fierce
• 2:56
  and you know it, God knows it, the enemy
• 2:59
  knows it. I go through seasons where the
• 3:03
  attacks are especially fierce and it's
• 3:06
  usually to keep me from advancing into a
• 3:08
  new territory or a new realm in the
• 3:12
  spirit or a new opportunity that lies
• 3:14
  before me. And I have found that the
• 3:16
  enemy knows when the opportune time is.
• 3:20
  He's not all knowing, but he certainly
• 3:22
  does understand when we're itching
• 3:24
  toward breakthrough sometimes better
• 3:26
  than we do. And the enemy likes to pile
• 3:30
  on. He likes to pour on. He likes to
• 3:32
  push back. He likes to oppress. And one
• 3:35
  of the most insidious tactics,
• 3:39
  and he uses it because it works, is to
• 3:41
  sew seeds of discouragement in the
• 3:44
  hearts of God's people. You know, I'm
• 3:47
  not immune to it. You're not immune to
• 3:49
  it. If we take our eyes off God, if the
• 3:51
  enemy can get us to take our eyes off
• 3:54
  God and fixate on the storms, the
• 3:56
  challenges, the problems, the setbacks,
• 3:59
  you know, he can weaken our faith.
• 4:03
  Listen, we have the faith of Jesus.
• 4:05
  Jesus lives on the inside of us and we
• 4:07
  live by the faith in the son of God. But
• 4:10
  when Peter saw the storm, his faith
• 4:13
  began to waver and he started to sink.
• 4:16
  And so the same thing happens to us. The
• 4:18
  enemy wants to steal our joy and the joy
• 4:21
  of the Lord is our strength. So the
• 4:22
  enemy is a master of distraction
• 4:26
  and his goal is to get you in so much
• 4:29
  emotional turmoil, so torquked up, so
• 4:31
  frustrated, so discouraged that you
• 4:34
  forget who you are in Christ. You forget
• 4:38
  what you're called to do. forget your
• 4:41
  passion in life and you just begin to
• 4:44
  melt down or back up or back down or
• 4:46
  back off, whatever you want to call it.
• 4:49
  Make no mistake, discouragement
• 4:52
  is a sign that the enemy is playing
• 4:56
  games with your mind. I was praying uh
• 4:59
  just this morning and I'm like, Lord,
• 5:02
  this these attacks have ramped up. They
• 5:04
  have escalated. And I know it's not just
• 5:06
  me and it's because of the TV. Every
• 5:08
  time we try to go on TV, the enemy pulls
• 5:11
  out all the stops to just wreak havoc on
• 5:14
  everybody, our our staff, our team,
• 5:18
  everybody gets hit because the enemy
• 5:20
  knows that that TV opportunity is what's
• 5:22
  going to cause us to reach more people
• 5:23
  with the with the word of God and the
• 5:25
  power of prayer. And so I was asking,
• 5:27
  Lord, what is what is the strategy then
• 5:30
  right now for us as a team? What is the
• 5:33
  strategy? And the Lord spoke very
• 5:34
  clearly to my heart. He said, "Gird up
• 5:36
  the loins of your mind." You know,
• 5:38
  because that's where the enemy attacks,
• 5:40
  isn't it? And the enemy wants to put us
• 5:42
  on an emotional roller coaster. He wants
• 5:44
  to get us discouraged. Discouragement is
• 5:46
  a sign. Take it as a sign of spiritual
• 5:48
  attack, you know. And it's a sure
• 5:51
  indicator when you get discouraged. When
• 5:52
  I get discouraged, when we get
• 5:54
  discouraged, it's an indicator that our
• 5:56
  focus, listen carefully, has shifted
• 6:00
  from the promises of God to the lies of
• 6:03
  the enemy. That's so powerful. I'm going
• 6:06
  to say it again. When you feel
• 6:09
  discouragement, now you might not
• 6:10
  immediately know that's what you're
• 6:11
  feeling. You might feel frustrated.
• 6:14
  Frustration is often a precursor to
• 6:16
  discouragement. We might pray about that
• 6:18
  as well because it's a season of it.
• 6:20
  We're coming into I'm telling you, we're
• 6:22
  coming into the next four weeks.
• 6:23
  Witchcraft starts rising. So
• 6:25
  discouragement is a sign that the enemy
• 6:27
  is playing games with your mind and it's
• 6:30
  a sure indicator that your focus has
• 6:34
  shifted from the promises of God to the
• 6:37
  lies of the enemy. So when you feel that
• 6:40
  heavy weight on your heart and you that
• 6:43
  creeping sense of hopelessness, it's not
• 6:45
  just your emotions reacting to your
• 6:47
  circumstances that that that's what's
• 6:49
  happening. Yes. But it's spiritual
• 6:52
  warfare. There there was an impetus.
• 6:53
  There was a there was a thought that you
• 6:55
  took. There was an attack on your mind.
• 6:57
  There was a fiery dart that slipped
• 6:58
  through. And the enemy is trying to drag
• 7:02
  you down and drag you out. He's trying
• 7:04
  to make you doubt God's goodness and to
• 7:07
  ultimately pull you out of your high
• 7:09
  calling. We can't let him. Listen, I've
• 7:10

  our emotions, our reasoning, our

  intellect, our imagination. We surrender

  it all to you, Jesus. And we we renounce

  all agreement with with mindbinding
• 9:32
  spirits. We renounce all agreement. If
• 9:34
  we spoke words in agreement, we break
• 9:37
  it. If we thought thoughts in agreement,
• 9:39
  we break it in the name of Jesus. And we
• 9:42
  thank you, Father, that you just forgive
• 9:44
  us. Forgive us, Lord, for not being uh
• 9:47
  for not nipping it in the bud, for not
• 9:49
  uh uh taking action at the first sign of
• 9:52
  this mindbinding spirit. And I know
• 9:54
  Lord, sometimes these things come in
• 9:56
  like a flood, but help us Lord to
• 9:57
  continue to grow in our warfare skills
• 9:59
  that we can we can take these things

  down quickly. So father in the name of
• 10:04
  Jesus I say father we praise you today
• 10:07
  because you are good. There's just
• 10:10
  nobody like you. Nobody to whom we can
• 10:13
  compare you. Nobody holds a candle to
• 10:15
  you. You are the most high God. We adore
• 10:19
  you. Our affections are placed upon you,
• 10:22
  Lord. We will choose to attend to your
• 10:26
  word. Your word. Your word. Your word is
• 10:29
  a lamp unto our feet and a light unto
• 10:32
  our path. Your words are spirit and they
• 10:34
  are life. And so we choose by force of
• 10:37
  our will to put your word in our mouth.
• 10:41
  We will speak life out of our mouths. We
• 10:44
  cancel every word of death that we have
• 10:46
  spoken over ourselves tempted by the
• 10:49
  wicked one to say something contrary to
• 10:52
  your will. We cancel those words now in
• 10:56
  the name of Jesus. and we lean on you.
• 10:59
  We lean everything we have and all that
• 11:02
  we are on you because you are able to
• 11:05
  make us stand. You are the God who sees
• 11:07
  us in our affliction. You are the God
• 11:10
  who sees the end from the beginning. You
• 11:13
  are the God who created good works
• 11:15
  beforehand that we should walk in them.
• 11:18
  You are the God who has promised to lead
• 11:20
  us and guide us into all truth, to show
• 11:23
  us things to come and to be our rear
• 11:26
  guard. So we will yet praise you.
• 11:29
  We will look for you when we need rescue
• 11:33
  because you are our rock. You are our
• 11:36
  fortress. You are our deliverer. Our
• 11:39
  heart trusts in you and we are helped
• 11:42
  because you are a very present help in
• 11:45
  time of need. So would you help us to
• 11:47
  remember, Lord, that your plans for us,
• 11:50
  they're not for evil. They are for good.
• 11:53
  To give us a future and a hope. Help us
• 11:56
  to cast our cares upon you because you
• 11:59
  care for us to to to to to cast all the
• 12:03
  anxiety on you and with prayer, with
• 12:06
  supplication and thanksgiving. And that
• 12:08
  peace of God will then guard our hearts
• 12:11
  and our minds in Christ Jesus. Father,
• 12:14
  would you help us? Because part of our
• 12:17
  mind is unrenewed. Part of our mind
• 12:20
  thinks like the world thinks. Part of
• 12:22
  our mind has been transformed to the way
• 12:25
  of the world or conformed to the spirit
• 12:28
  of the age instead of transformed by
• 12:30
  your word. God, help us submit our mind
• 12:33
  to your word. Help us, Lord, to remember
• 12:37
  amid our busy schedules to meditate on
• 12:40
  the word day and night and be careful to
• 12:43
  do all that it says. Then we'll make our
• 12:46
  way prosperous. Then we'll find good
• 12:48
  success. Then we'll overcome the wicked
• 12:51
  one. Then we'll find healing for our
• 12:53
  bodies. Then we'll find deliverance for
• 12:55
  our souls. Then we'll find
• 12:57
  reconciliation in relationships. Then
• 12:59
  we'll find prosperity in what we put our
• 13:02
  hand to. God, would you help us to renew
• 13:05
  our minds to your word so that we know
• 13:08
  who we are and what we carry, whom we
• 13:11
  carry in our spirits. We are one with
• 13:13
  you and nothing shall snatch us out of
• 13:16
  your hands. No one, nothing. So Lord,
• 13:18
  help us to tap into the grace that's on
• 13:21
  the inside of us, the spirit of grace
• 13:24
  who lives within us to persevere
• 13:28
  past the problems, past the issues, past
• 13:30
  the pain, knowing that endurance
• 13:33
  produces character, and character
• 13:35
  produces hope. Lord, help us fortify our
• 13:38
  faith. Lord, help us not to waver
• 13:41
  between two opinions. No matter what it
• 13:44
  looks like, no matter what it feels
• 13:46
  like, no matter what it sounds like,
• 13:48
  help us to keep our eyes fixed on you,
• 13:52
  Jesus. You are the author of our faith.
• 13:55
  You are the finisher of our faith and
• 13:58
  you are with us as we walk by faith and
• 14:00
  not by sight. You are leading us by your
• 14:03
  spirit. Help us to submit ourselves to
• 14:06
  you, to resist the devil's meddling in
• 14:08
  our emotions so that he's going to have
• 14:11
  to flee. Help us Lord. Help us Lord.
• 14:16
  Help us Lord. Your joy is our strength.
• 14:19
  So we choose to rejoice in you by force
• 14:22
  of our will. We choose to we choose to
• 14:25
  we choose to rejoice in you. Oh, the
• 14:28
  banker says they're going to they're
• 14:30
  going to bankrupt. Oh, no. No. We choose
• 14:32
  to rejoice in you. The doctor brings a
• 14:35
  bad diagnosis. No, we choose to rejoice
• 14:38
  in you. We're having a bad day in a bad
• 14:40
  way. No, we choose to rejoice in you. If
• 14:43
  your word tells us to rejoice, then it
• 14:45
  must be possible to rejoice always,
• 14:48
  always, always, always. And again, I say
• 14:51
  rejoice. So help us, Lord, bend our will
• 14:54
  to your direction instead of letting the
• 14:57
  enemy bend our will in his direction.
• 14:59
  God, help us to submit ourselves to you
• 15:02
  and not to the wicked one. Help us Lord
• 15:05
  to lean into you and not to the
• 15:07
  understanding, not to the carnal mind,
• 15:10
  not to the flesh, not to Jesus. Help us
• 15:13
  Lord to do this thing your way because
• 15:15
  your way is the higher way. We have
• 15:18
  courage on the inside. So we say we will
• 15:20
  tap in and we will move forward in the
• 15:23
  name of Jesus. We know that you are with
• 15:25
  us everywhere we go. I thank you Lord
• 15:29
  that we are more than conquerors through
• 15:31
  Christ Jesus. Hallelujah.

  Hallelujah. Now we command every spirit

  of despair and hopelessness to leave us

  now in the name of Jesus.

  We declare that we shall live and not

  die and proclaim the works of the Lord

  in the land of the living in Jesus'

  name. Hallelujah. We declare that no

  weapon formed against our faith will

  prosper, but rather we will lift up the

  shield of faith. We will kept keep it

  lifted high and we're going to quench

  every fiery dart. Not one will get by

  our shield of faith. We are fortifying
• 16:13
  our faith with the word of God. The uh

  faith comes by hearing, not having
• 16:18
  heard, by hearing. Not having heard five
• 16:20
  years ago, by hearing. Faith is now.

  Faith comes by hearing now. So we choose
• 16:26
  to confess your word. We choose to war
• 16:28
  with your word. We choose to swing the
• 16:31
  sword of the spirit, which is the word
• 16:33
  of God, against every foe, against every
• 16:36
  enemy, against every form of or or
• 16:39
  fashion of weapon that dares to form
• 16:41
  itself against us in the name of Jesus.
• 16:44
  We declare that every plan of the enemy
• 16:47
  to cause us to give up and quit is
• 16:49
  nullified by the blood of the lamb. We
• 16:53
  release the fire of God against every
• 16:57
  stronghold
• 16:58
  of despair, every stronghold of
• 17:01
  discouragement. We decree and declare
• 17:03
  that we are children of God. And greater
• 17:06
  is he who is in us. Hallelujah. Than he
• 17:10
  who is in the world. We release the
• 17:13
  sword of the spirit to cut down every
• 17:16
  lie of the enemy. Lord, let the sword of
• 17:18
  the Lord draw. Let the sword of the Lord
• 17:20
  drop. Let the sword of the Lord drop.
• 17:22
  Let the sword of the Lord drop. Oh,
• 17:24
  against every enemy that tries to
• 17:26
  convince us to give up, we say we will
• 17:28
  not give up. We will not quit. We
• 17:31
  command every door of opportunity that
• 17:33
  the enemy has snuck through to be
• 17:35
  slammed in his face right now in the
• 17:38
  name of Jesus. I rebuke the spirit of
• 17:41
  weariness that tries to get us to back
• 17:43
  off and back down. We declare that we
• 17:46
  will rise up with wings like eagles. We
• 17:48
  will run and not grow weary. We will
• 17:50
  walk and not faint. That fainting spirit
• 17:53
  has no hold on us in the name of Jesus.
• 17:57
  We say we are strengthened in our inner
• 17:59
  man by the Holy Ghost in the name of
• 18:02
  Jesus. We say the Lord is our strength
• 18:05
  and our shield. We will not give up. Our
• 18:08
  victory is assured. We cancel every
• 18:11
  negative word spoken against our life
• 18:14
  and our destiny. And we declare we will
• 18:16
  finish our race. We will run our course.
• 18:19
  we will complete the good work that God
• 18:21
  has given us to do in the name of Jesus.
• 18:25
  Every plan, every plot that's been
• 18:27
  orchestrated to get us to give up and
• 18:29
  quit, we abolish it now. We come against
• 18:32
  it by the word of God in the name of the
• 18:34
  strong son of God, Jesus Christ. We
• 18:37
  rebuke every spirit of fear. We rebuke
• 18:40
  all in enemy intimidation that tries to
• 18:42
  keep us from moving forward, that tries
• 18:45
  to get us to give up and quit. We
• 18:47
  declare that we are not victims, but we
• 18:49
  are victors. We will not give up. We
• 18:52
  will not back down. We refuse to be
• 18:54
  defeated by the enemy's tactics in the
• 18:56
  name of Jesus. By the blood of Jesus, we
• 19:00
  break these spirits uh these spiritual
• 19:03
  attacks against our mind and our
• 19:05
  emotions. And we say we have the mind of
• 19:08
  Christ. We are stable. We are steady.
• 19:10
  And we are ready for whatever may come
• 19:12
  our way because we are rooted and
• 19:14
  grounded in love. And and our Lord has
• 19:17
  given us all things that we need to
• 19:19
  fight and win the battle to to to
• 19:21
  execute his will in the name of Jesus.
• 19:24
  So we give you all the praise. We give
• 19:27
  you all the glory. We give you all the
• 19:29
  praise and we give you all the glory in
• 19:32
  Jesus name. Amen. And amen. Come on,

  share those with somebody. We're going

  to get into these prayers against
• 19:38
  discouragement. these the secret weapon
• 19:41
  is thanksgiving. And I know you don't
• 19:42
  want to hear it.
• 19:47
  I said the secret weapon against
• 19:49
  discouragement is thanksgiving. You
• 19:52
  cannot be thankful and be discouraged at
• 19:54
  the same time. It's impossible. I've
• 19:56
  tried it.
• 19:58
  You might be able to walk and chew gum
• 19:59
  at the same time, but you can't be
• 20:01
  discouraged and be thankful at the same
• 20:04
  time. And the and we're supposed to give
• 20:06
  thanks to God in all things. Huh? We're
• 20:09
  supposed to give thanks to God in all
• 20:11
  things. So if you're not thanking God,
• 20:13
  you're not in the will of God. When we
• 20:15
  get discouraged, we're not in the will
• 20:17
  of God. And it's not that he's mad at
• 20:19
  us. He's not trying to rebuke us. No,
• 20:20
  that's not the point. He loves you. He
• 20:23
  doesn't want you to be discouraged. Why
• 20:25
  would you be discouraged? Don't let the
• 20:27
  devil dish you like that. Discouraged,
• 20:29
  right? He wants you to be encouraged.
• 20:31
  When you're in Christ, you're
• 20:32
  encouraged. And so, he doesn't want to
• 20:34
  see you like that because he loves you.
• 20:36
  So, he's told us the remedy
• 20:40
  for discouragement, and it's
• 20:41
  Thanksgiving. The key is remembering to
• 20:43
  do that when the onslaught hits. This is
• 20:46
  why you need people around you, friends,
• 20:48
  and family who will tell you the truth.
• 20:51
  Hey, hey, hey, hey, that discouragement
• 20:54
  demon is getting on you. Better, you
• 20:55
  better start thanking God. Huh? So,
• 20:58
  let's pray. Father, in the name of
• 21:00
  Jesus, we thank you for your steadfast
• 21:04
  love that never ceases. And we declare
• 21:07
  that your mercies are new every day. We
• 21:10

  and this was 25 years ago. I understood

  the power of the mind. Now that's not

  some new age thing. It's just that the

  Bible says as a man thinks in his heart

  That's a truth for all mankind.

  thought good thoughts, I felt good. And

  even unbelievers understand or they

  should understand these thoughts. But as

  a believer,

  I'm assuming you're all believers. As a

  believer, we have a greater

  responsibility because we are aware of

  the truth. The spirit of truth is in us.

  He set us free from this old uh uh uh

  kingdom of dark thoughts. He tells us to

  think on things that are good, lovely,
• 32:20
  pure, praiseworthy, excellent, right?

  Philippians 4. If it's not in that

  bucket, if it's not in that Philippians

  4 bucket, we shouldn't be thinking it.

  But if you're not paying attention to

  what you're thinking about, you'll think

  any old thing the devil puts in your

  mind. And so what the one way you

  discern a mindbinding spirit is is by

  when you you you can't even think

  straight. You're not necessarily

  thinking bad thoughts and you're not

  thinking good thoughts. But if you let

  that mindbinding spirit settle on you,

  sometimes it's not thought, sometimes

  it's exhaustion. That's what was h that

  was that was how it was attacking me was

  just pure exhaustion. I could not think

  straight. Well, if you can't think

  straight, listen to me. If you can't

  think straight, then you're not thinking

  spirit is one of those things you got

  you you got to nip it in the bud with
