- 6:03travelers, as the days of admiring new stamps
- 6:06in your passport are almost at an end. Many countries
- 6:11are moving away from passport stamps in favor
- 6:13of digital alternatives that are more secure
- 6:16and efficient. This transition is already occurring
- 6:20in some places, with more airports expected to
- 6:23follow. Experts suggest that while this change
- 6:26may feel emotional, it aims to streamline travel
- 6:29and enhance border security. Countries like Australia
- 6:33and Singapore have already adopted digital systems.
- 6:38By October, the European Union will begin implementing
- 6:41its new biometric entry and exit system. In business
- 6:47news, U .S. clothing retailers are testing a
- 6:51full -price strategy as affluent shoppers continue
- 6:54spending with little pushback so far. Stock market
- 6:59gains are benefiting wealthy consumers prompting
- 7:02retailers like Levi Strauss to introduce more
- 7:05full -price products. Levi's chief financial
- 7:08officer, Harmet Singh, noted there has been no
- 7:11demand slowdown despite price increases. The
- 7:15Levi's consumer largely earns $100 ,000 and over,
- 7:20he said. Ralph Lauren under Armour and Abercrombie
- 7:24and Fitch are also embracing this strategy. According
- 7:28to Moody's Analytics, The wealthiest 10 % of
- 7:31Americans now account for half of all consumer
- 7:34spending. In crypto movement, Bitcoin is up 1
- 7:38% to $112 ,000. Ethereum is unchanged at just
- 7:45over $4 ,300. And XRP is up 2 % to $2 .95. Moving
- 7:54on to a more local vibe. In our community spotlight

- 8:39back to the show. Let's talk science. PFAS can
- 8:44repel water, oil, sweat, dirt, and heat, making
- 8:48them ideal for outdoor gear. But what about the
- 8:52impacts of these forever chemicals on the environment
- 8:55and human health. The first PFAS were developed
- 8:59in the 1930s and have since been used in countless
- 9:02consumer goods. Their harmful effects on the
- 9:06environment and human health are increasingly
- 9:08being recognized. Last year, 59 leading scientists
- 9:13urged the UK government to regulate PFAS. Studies
- 9:17link PFAS contamination to increased cancer risks
- 9:21and reproductive issues. Despite some brands
- 9:24transitioning to PFAS -free products, a report
- 9:27found that 82 % still use PFAS. Legislation is
- 9:33tightening globally, with bans now in effect
- 9:35or planned in several regions. Consumers can
- 9:38support brands that have made the switch to PFAS
- 9:41-free alternatives. The most ecologically sustainable
- 9:45products are the ones we already own. And in
- 9:51entertainment news... Nuremberg is generating
- 9:54Oscar buzz with Russell Crowe delivering his
- 9:58best work since Cinderella Man, as Leo Woodall
- 10:01emerges as a breakout contender. James Vanderbilt's
- 10:05courtroom drama Nuremberg, rooted in history,
- 10:08is a timely and awards -worthy film. It interrogates
- 10:12the foundations of justice in today's political
- 10:15landscape. Crowe's portrayal of Herman Goring
- 10:18is commanding... capturing his paradoxical charisma
- 10:21and monstrosity. Woodall, best known for The
- 10:25White Lotus, delivers an emotional performance
- 10:27as a translator. The film's crisp production
- 10:30design and unique screenplay position it as a
- 10:33possible best picture candidate, reflecting the
- 10:36fierce urgency of now. Well, all righty folks,
- 10:41it's time for the quote of the day. And today,
- 10:45our quote comes from the American inventor and
- 10:47visionary, Charles F. Kettering. And he said,
- 10:52the world hates change, yet it is the only thing
- 10:55that has brought progress. And that's a wrap
- 10:59for this morning. You can check out our Instagram,
