- 3:54Speaker 2: You? You you? That was like three oh three.
- 4:04Speaker 5: Right around there.
- 4:08Speaker 4: But yeah, period, y'all was outside then. They probably shouldn't
- 4:15Speaker 4: have been, but you said we were.
- 4:17Speaker 2: I was in fourth grade. Yeah, no, we went at all.
- 4:21Speaker 4: Clubs back then. We was definitely at the at the parties.
- 4:24Speaker 3: You know.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Yeah, y'all wasn't even at the parties then. Don't try
- 4:27Speaker 1: to make him feel youngy.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Oh, we might. We were almost at the parties.
- 4:31Speaker 2: They ain't that old? That is not that old?
- 4:36Speaker 3: Mm hmm. Then we want we want.
- 4:39Speaker 4: Yeah, y'all were in middle school, but we knew what
- 4:42Speaker 4: was a girl like I said at the party for me,
- 4:50Speaker 4: Hello to drink a little old with the grey goose.
- 4:55Speaker 3: But then it's got some peach t What else have
- 4:58Speaker 3: got in it?
- 4:59Speaker 2: We had?
- 5:00Speaker 1: It's a great goose lemon, freshly squeezed leomon. We have
- 5:04Speaker 1: an orange liqueur, and then we have peach tea. You know,
- 5:08Speaker 1: we're trying to work on our little southern.
- 5:10Speaker 4: So we drew in the oh with the gray goose
- 5:12Speaker 4: and then the peach t a little country vibe, not
- 5:15Speaker 4: the country you.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Know, not the country you know. And we came up.
- 5:19Speaker 3: With this and it's called.
- 5:21Speaker 4: What the last call? The last called peach women ad?
- 5:30Speaker 4: What's your favorite?
- 5:31Speaker 2: Welcome where you want to take it with?
- 5:37Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 5:38Speaker 4: I got the whole girly girls starter back for you.
- 5:41Speaker 3: I like the toxic love songs, but I don't know.
- 5:46Speaker 2: I like my Love, my love, thinking of you.
- 5:50Speaker 4: I thought you was gonna say, thinking that's like that's
- 5:53Speaker 4: number two for me. You never heard that song, especially
- 5:57Speaker 4: with the what's.
- 6:00Speaker 3: That called the simple?
- 6:01Speaker 4: I originally thought that it was gonna be some real
- 6:04Speaker 4: sweet romantic Oh he's socksyna.
- 6:10Speaker 5: Ya.
- 6:11Speaker 4: You used to have me like like you don't probably
- 6:15Speaker 4: save so many niggas from hearing the bitch mouth because
- 6:18Speaker 4: I used to be listening thinking to you like, I'm
- 6:21Speaker 4: gonna shut up today, you know what, i ain't gonna
- 6:25Speaker 4: ask him no questions. You know what, I know these
- 6:27Speaker 4: house don't be messy and they be mad because they
- 6:30Speaker 4: miss they blessing.
- 6:30Speaker 3: I'm gonna just shut up.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Missport when he said I'm stuck with you, he ain't
- 6:34Speaker 1: go nowhere, So I'm about to talk ship all day.
- 6:36Speaker 4: You know she did miss though going through the phone ship.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Yeah, she could have been rich. No, I didn't.
- 6:44Speaker 4: But last time I went through a phone, I looked
- 6:47Speaker 4: through credit karma and everything, so I learned a little.
- 6:50Speaker 5: Yeah, so y'all live what you're saying.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Basically, the relatability is completely there.
- 6:59Speaker 2: You're very for sure, and your love songs we love
- 7:02Speaker 2: that you. Yeah yeah, yep, still yeah, you elevating, but
- 7:07Speaker 2: the toxic is still there.
- 7:08Speaker 6: It's definitely I'm telling somebody's story, you know, Oh somebody's hmm.
- 7:15Speaker 5: I'm trying. I'm gonna grow up one of these days.
- 7:16Speaker 2: That's all right, we love it of our life.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Toxic leado, Yeah, always something, it's so many. I could
- 7:22Speaker 1: go on and on like it's so many thinking of you,
- 7:27Speaker 1: always something, And it was you with Brutus and Caesar,
- 7:32Speaker 1: Oh Caesar and Brutus. That shit used to have me
- 7:39Speaker 1: thinking of this bitch.
- 7:40Speaker 4: It's like the ultimate like bros before Hose anthem and
- 7:44Speaker 4: like for me, the hose was like a metaphor for
- 7:47Speaker 4: anything like don't let nothing infiltrate you in your like
- 7:50Speaker 4: our sisterhood. And we done fell out like a hundred times.
- 7:53Speaker 4: So there's been times we get into it and I'll
- 7:55Speaker 4: be playing a ship like bro, that's.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Me and my best friend song though for real, like
- 8:01Speaker 2: you also have it.
- 8:02Speaker 6: Go ahead, but they kill each other. One of them
- 8:06Speaker 6: shoots the other one in the song.
- 8:08Speaker 4: That's that's a metaphor too, that's that you could come
- 8:12Speaker 4: back from that, not not.
- 8:13Speaker 2: You can come back from that, like not like real life, dad,
- 8:17Speaker 2: just we'm gonna get to that point, you know.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Yeah, so but it's like this bitch got me sucked up,
- 8:23Speaker 4: but yeah, we're not gonna let it get that far.
- 8:27Speaker 4: But it's like they killed each other, but It's like
- 8:29Speaker 4: he realized at the end, like damn, I killed my
- 8:33Speaker 4: nigga for this bitch or not that, Like why would
- 8:36Speaker 4: I let this bitch come in between what we got
- 8:38Speaker 4: going on?
- 8:39Speaker 6: So I appreciate these think pieces and thesises I have
- 8:43Speaker 6: about these songs because some of them was simple and
- 8:47Speaker 6: you know, my immature self, just especially thinking to You
- 8:50Speaker 6: and Ship. I mean I love that ship too to
- 8:53Speaker 6: write it, but.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Like past tence or you mean still.
- 8:57Speaker 6: Present, No, I'm saying back then when I wrote it,
- 8:59Speaker 6: it was that was what was going on. I did
- 9:01Speaker 6: the freestyle of thinking of you song, it was that
- 9:04Speaker 6: was what was going on, presentense. But no, I mean
- 9:08Speaker 6: I'm more so reflecting on it. You you mentioned always
- 9:10Speaker 6: something that's off the new album, and I mean it's
- 9:14Speaker 6: the same story, the same old song as they say,
- 9:17Speaker 6: like I think, uh, a lot of people's relationships look
- 9:23Speaker 6: look alike. You know, they take different forms, but we
- 9:26Speaker 6: all kind of go through the same same things.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Same ship.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Literally, I fuck with who I am off of the
- 9:34Speaker 3: new album too.
- 9:35Speaker 5: We're putting the video inspire I'll.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Be like, this is how niggas be telling when I
- 9:41Speaker 2: leave Alan.
- 9:42Speaker 6: Yeah, that was I was gonna say, I tried to
- 9:45Speaker 6: paint the whole picture though. You know you said I toxic.
- 9:48Speaker 6: But you know, sometimes we're guilty too, or we we
- 9:52Speaker 6: feel it. You know, we can from the male side,
- 9:56Speaker 6: we can get here where it hurts.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Too, because a man ain't gonna never let you know
- 10:00Speaker 4: that he fumbled for real. I mean he might, some might,
- 10:04Speaker 4: but it's like if you get him to admit that,
- 10:06Speaker 4: like he really fucked up with you, it's.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Like they do.
- 10:09Speaker 2: But then we be like you just saying that.
- 10:11Speaker 3: You like, what do you really mean it? Though?
- 10:14Speaker 5: Like what do I mean to hear it?
- 10:19Speaker 3: I like it strokes.
- 10:22Speaker 4: It's validation for sure, it's confirmation and validation, But I
- 10:28Speaker 4: don't know the man say, and it's just like so
- 10:31Speaker 4: like in that song, it's like, oh, you know, basically
- 10:35Speaker 4: saying you changed, You're not that same, Like you're not
- 10:38Speaker 4: a boy no more, you grow into a man. But
- 10:40Speaker 4: it's like, who, how can we actually trust that you
- 10:44Speaker 4: changed and you're actually different now?
- 10:49Speaker 3: Right?
- 10:54Speaker 4: The us on this couch and gave niggas plenty chances,
- 10:57Speaker 4: and then they come back and do the same old song,
- 11:00Speaker 4: same old thing.
- 11:03Speaker 5: I'll show you all a video before we do.
- 11:05Speaker 2: I'm excited to see it. I have my cowboy yeah,
- 11:10Speaker 2: cowboy head. I love it. And also another lyric that
- 11:14Speaker 2: you said that it's a favorite of mine.
- 11:16Speaker 4: I need a thick red hose that I can be
- 11:19Speaker 4: myself around and give me.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Head real slow.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Amen.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Amen, that's that was a bar y'all read. I ain't red.
- 11:29Speaker 2: I'm real, y'all red.
- 11:33Speaker 5: Definite.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Yeah, like if you're gonna turn red, I thought I
- 11:38Speaker 1: was yellow real slow.
- 11:41Speaker 2: And Okay, we're gonna, we're gonna, We're gonna.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Anyway a fucking off with mister or something like that.
- 11:54Speaker 5: Some research.
- 11:55Speaker 2: No, we really tapped in.
- 11:57Speaker 1: You always come to Like when I was younger, you
- 11:59Speaker 1: were always in the city.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I think my uncle's used to bring you down here.
- 12:02Speaker 2: So I'm like, hey, oh, helf literally literally that. I
- 12:07Speaker 2: don't know the name of that song, but you shot
- 12:09Speaker 2: that video here in.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Indy, didn't you.
- 12:12Speaker 2: That's when y'all was in Country Kitchen. Yeah, yeah, what's
- 12:15Speaker 2: the name of that song?
- 12:15Speaker 6: Do what I gotta do? What I gotta do part
- 12:18Speaker 6: of it up here? Yeah on Coarate in the garage
- 12:21Speaker 6: tour in twenty seventeen.
- 12:24Speaker 4: Yeah, the city fuck fuck with that street gospel. That
- 12:28Speaker 4: love hatelito all that we took it back.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Brother.
- 12:34Speaker 5: Yeah, it's always been a little over here.
- 12:35Speaker 6: I mean, this is definitely one of our top markets,
- 12:38Speaker 6: and you know, like for for the five twenty weekend,
- 12:42Speaker 6: it's just it's cool. It's a blessing like tapping in
- 12:46Speaker 6: with like y'all, y'all making it happen. Y'all got it,
- 12:50Speaker 6: got your thing going, and it's super cool thing.
- 12:54Speaker 5: And to really be tapping in.
- 12:56Speaker 4: Yeah, that's why we're so honored to have you on
- 12:57Speaker 4: the couch tonight early and.
- 12:59Speaker 2: We're bout to have some fun.
- 13:00Speaker 5: I'm so scared.
- 13:04Speaker 4: But speaking of which, how did you get cool with
- 13:06Speaker 4: the guys because you know them, it's our guys. How
- 13:08Speaker 4: did y'all link up?
- 13:12Speaker 6: I don't know exactly what it happened other than just uh,
- 13:18Speaker 6: you know, like mutual respect, mutual admiration. Like I was
- 13:23Speaker 6: checking out the pod, and I mean, I'm a sports guy.
- 13:26Speaker 5: I used to go by All Star when.
- 13:29Speaker 3: We know Cashville, Prince.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Research.
- 13:34Speaker 6: We really tapped in and I was I was a
- 13:38Speaker 6: fan of the platform and what they were building. And
- 13:44Speaker 6: I don't I don't actually know how to connection was made,
- 13:47Speaker 6: but I mean I guess that speaks to it being
- 13:49Speaker 6: organic because Trip and I came in and actually shared
- 13:55Speaker 6: our release date for step Brothers for Life.
- 13:58Speaker 5: I remember that on the a little over a year ago.
- 14:01Speaker 6: And we just kept in touch and you know, we
- 14:06Speaker 6: linked out of town and different events and just just
- 14:09Speaker 6: stayed in touch even to know just everything for a circle.
- 14:14Speaker 6: Mike been kind of mentoring me and my guys with
- 14:16Speaker 6: a podcast we just started a few months ago to
- 14:18Speaker 6: work in progress podcasts, and all the guys from the
- 14:22Speaker 6: Junk was like encouraging me to get into the space.
- 14:25Speaker 6: That's why I really appreciate what y'all doing. Like seeing
- 14:27Speaker 6: something go from like ground zero, seeing something the starving
- 14:31Speaker 6: scratch is like one of the biggest like joys or
- 14:35Speaker 6: highs that I can get. Is like a creative Like
- 14:38Speaker 6: I've been at the music thing for twenty years plus,
- 14:40Speaker 6: but like anything to start it from, you know, from scratch.
- 14:46Speaker 6: So we're in a similar space, kind of similar timeline
- 14:49Speaker 6: is what y'all doing. Me and my guys, So and
- 14:52Speaker 6: those guys been probably our biggest inspiration for the platform
- 14:56Speaker 6: we're building. It's kind of like a boys club kind
- 14:58Speaker 6: of thing. It's not sports trick, but it's some parallels there.
- 15:02Speaker 6: It was like homeboard type time. And then you know,
- 15:05Speaker 6: y'all got like the equal opposite thing going.
- 15:08Speaker 4: So y'all are friends because I swear when I like
- 15:12Speaker 4: watched some of y'all shows, I'm like, they all sound alike?
- 15:15Speaker 2: Are they don't all sounded like?
- 15:18Speaker 1: But their voices well, okay, I would say they voices
- 15:20Speaker 1: are so soothing.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Like watching y'all podcast, I just be like, yeah, sound.
- 15:26Speaker 1: But I swear they all sound the same, though they
- 15:31Speaker 1: sound different, but their voices are soothing.
- 15:33Speaker 2: But I wanted to ask you because it shoot.
- 15:35Speaker 5: Your cousin, Yeah, that's my first cousin.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Okay, And that nigga is a lawyer in a pilot.
- 15:41Speaker 6: Wow, he's a renaissance manything.
- 15:45Speaker 2: So that's your cousin and the other two guys. How
- 15:47Speaker 2: are you guys connected?
- 15:48Speaker 5: Uh, that's just my guys.
- 15:50Speaker 6: Like I think, like doing business kind of brought us
- 15:54Speaker 6: together and we just became homeboys along the way, Steven
- 15:57Speaker 6: and I throwing a bunch of concerts.
- 16:00Speaker 5: And done business in that regard, and.
- 16:02Speaker 6: Loos had he's all over the place where his ventures
- 16:06Speaker 6: and entrepreneurship. He had a recording studio and we partnered
- 16:10Speaker 6: on that for a while. And when I did the
- 16:13Speaker 6: Imposter Syndrome album, like we went in on the spot
- 16:18Speaker 6: at the Nashville Black Market Studio and kept that kept the.
- 16:22Speaker 5: Doors open there for about a year.
- 16:24Speaker 6: And you know, I feel like a lot of my
- 16:26Speaker 6: closest peers are people that I did business with. Like
- 16:30Speaker 6: they say, don't mix business with friendship and otherwise, but
- 16:33Speaker 6: I think good business can like foster the best friendships definitely,
- 16:38Speaker 6: because you should want your people to come up. So
- 16:41Speaker 6: if you can get money with somebody, like it should
- 16:43Speaker 6: be a no brainer that their best interests.
- 16:46Speaker 5: Well being is in mine.
- 16:49Speaker 6: But my cousin Shoot was one of losest teachers in
- 16:53Speaker 6: high school, and Jim and Shoot had their own bond
- 16:57Speaker 6: outside of us. So it's just kind of like full
- 16:59Speaker 6: so everybody got that, like, and how y'all know each other?
- 17:05Speaker 1: Well, we was born together one minute apart and then
- 17:11Speaker 1: just connected through the guys. These were like the first
- 17:14Speaker 1: females that were on.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Club five twenty.
- 17:16Speaker 4: I kind of justagled my way in here, you know,
- 17:19Speaker 4: lost the competition, came back, you know, one.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Of those failure stories. But man, these are my girls.
- 17:26Speaker 2: It's true.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Literally I lost, and they brought me in one time
- 17:30Speaker 1: and the audience loved me, and now look at me
- 17:33Speaker 1: now exactly.
- 17:35Speaker 5: So, y'all I met through the through the show.
- 17:37Speaker 1: But these are like the girls of the city, so
- 17:39Speaker 1: I've always known of them. So like, yeah, not, y'all
- 17:45Speaker 1: can get bitch.
- 17:48Speaker 6: She like.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Lot my name ring Bell. No, they don't know me
- 17:57Speaker 2: from the cannapign I know you.
- 18:00Speaker 3: I did.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Yeah even before this.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Yeah, they've been it girls. I kind of just you know,
- 18:05Speaker 1: fload it up. But these my girls now, like we
- 18:07Speaker 1: locked in. But I was watching y'all pie and it
- 18:10Speaker 1: was funny because shoot, he was saying, how this is
- 18:14Speaker 1: fucking hilarious. How if a plane was to crash, the
- 18:18Speaker 1: back of the plane would be more likely to survive.
- 18:21Speaker 2: So I was like, y'all know good, how I be.
- 18:23Speaker 3: Back there my bathroom. Everyone I said, yeah.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Fuck you, Chess, I'm gonna make it. I was like, damn,
- 18:30Speaker 2: that is crazy good.
- 18:31Speaker 3: We're good.
- 18:32Speaker 2: So keep booking our seats in the back of the plane.
- 18:34Speaker 3: We like it.
- 18:34Speaker 4: There they broke twenty brow twenty eight from thirty two
- 18:40Speaker 4: is where you can catch me.
- 18:41Speaker 2: And I'm gonna be surviving. But I'm still alive. I'm
- 18:45Speaker 2: still alive. Well, I was like, yeah, but I really
- 18:49Speaker 2: I like y'all podcasts.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Like I said, y'all voices are really soothing and it's
- 18:52Speaker 4: good to see black men in such a positive way.
- 18:54Speaker 3: But where do you get that though? From? Where do
- 18:56Speaker 3: you get that from? His cousin he's actually he's pilot
- 19:01Speaker 3: said that.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Okay, why do you have a question though, because you
- 19:04Speaker 4: said that the smoke detector battery chart that that going
- 19:09Speaker 4: off it warrants bad spirit.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Where did you get that from?
- 19:14Speaker 5: Man? I just it's just my belief, Okay.
- 19:19Speaker 3: That Southern niggas in the superstitions.
- 19:22Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean anything, I like somebody chines damn battery
- 19:26Speaker 6: because it's like.
- 19:28Speaker 5: I don't know, people get on me, like if I'm
- 19:30Speaker 5: buck on my.
- 19:31Speaker 6: Seatbelt and driving and to dependent, like if I've been
- 19:35Speaker 6: in the car a certain amount of time, Like I
- 19:37Speaker 6: can just ignore the ship. But that smoke detective ship,
- 19:41Speaker 6: like especially walking into somebody else's house, It's like, you
- 19:44Speaker 6: don't hear that. And we was we was doing like
- 19:49Speaker 6: a live stream and I'm sitting there like, bro, I
- 19:51Speaker 6: know you hear this ship.
- 19:53Speaker 4: You really got her to be on Live with the
- 19:56Speaker 4: with the Detector.
- 19:59Speaker 6: Ship it's in the picture of like a non old
- 20:02Speaker 6: battery today.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Today a lot. Yeah, that's what I say. That's been
- 20:08Speaker 2: a minute ago, but yeah, it takes something.
- 20:10Speaker 3: It was fake and you just brought it up. It
- 20:12Speaker 3: was fake. It was meant to be.
- 20:15Speaker 2: So I've never been to Nashville. The girls, y'all, just.
- 20:19Speaker 4: Y'all went about a few months ago. But y'all, y'all
- 20:23Speaker 4: was in the white part of Nashville. Yeah, unfortunately, I'm
- 20:26Speaker 4: actually really glad he's here because I had some bullship.
- 20:29Speaker 3: I was so pissed you could have went with me,
- 20:32Speaker 3: but you wanted to ship.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Yeah, so in my defense, I did want to go
- 20:39Speaker 4: downtown and let the let the kids see like downtown
- 20:42Speaker 4: and stuff. My friend pulled up, uh, pulled up on us.
- 20:45Speaker 4: She lived out there, and she was like, I don't
- 20:48Speaker 4: know why you came here. I'm just like, girl, I
- 20:50Speaker 4: don't know why you but you.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Said on the fifth, and that's Black History Music Month.
- 20:55Speaker 6: I got a concert with band play speaking of y'all,
- 21:00Speaker 6: I pull up June fifth. I'll make sure, y'all, I
- 21:02Speaker 6: will find some better food like that. Documentary highlights a
- 21:05Speaker 6: bunch of spots. Yeah, a lot of black owned spots
- 21:09Speaker 6: and some quality quality food. But yeah, June Field with
- 21:13Speaker 6: exiting in Nashville, not the country, you know, tour and yeah,
- 21:18Speaker 6: pull up on y'all got some pto.
- 21:21Speaker 5: Yeah, I got a bunch.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Got a bunch, can make some time. Yeah, because I
- 21:26Speaker 2: really want to.
- 21:27Speaker 4: The only place I ever went on the documentary is
- 21:31Speaker 4: Slim and Huskies. And I've seen all the different places.
- 21:34Speaker 4: I'm like, oh sure, I can't wait to go back.
- 21:36Speaker 4: So Charty's other places, Yeah for sure.
- 21:39Speaker 5: Yeah, Slim and Huskies. That was my guys.
- 21:41Speaker 6: I grew up with with all three of the co owners,
- 21:44Speaker 6: co founders. They were on a part a couple of
- 21:46Speaker 6: weeks ago too.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Oh nice, that's what's up. That's the piece of spot.
- 21:51Speaker 2: I went to Chicago Chicken and waffles before you had them.
- 21:55Speaker 2: It's Nashville, you gotta baby, I.
- 21:58Speaker 3: Mean, but are they really like but do you know
- 22:00Speaker 3: what I'm talking about?
- 22:01Speaker 5: Yeah, I heard of it. I don't think I've eaten
- 22:03Speaker 5: up before.
- 22:05Speaker 6: It kind of it's like people getting Nashville Hot Chicken
- 22:09Speaker 6: and other places other than Nashville. It's probably not gonna
- 22:11Speaker 6: be like I tried some Nashville Hot Chicken and Cali and.
- 22:14Speaker 5: Was mad as hell.
- 22:16Speaker 6: Like this is not this is a misrepresentation. So I'm
- 22:19Speaker 6: not saying that restaurant is not good. I'm just gonna
- 22:22Speaker 6: go to Chicago if i want some Chicago anything.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Right, If we pull up in Nashville, what's the spots
- 22:29Speaker 1: that we definitely.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Got to hit.
- 22:31Speaker 6: Princess Hot Chicken that's the original of the Nashville Hot
- 22:34Speaker 6: Chicken breakfast spot. I was saying, Ridian Street Cafe that's
- 22:41Speaker 6: starting East Nashville. One from edge Fish for a good
- 22:46Speaker 6: fish sandwich sounds like being Yeah.
- 22:50Speaker 5: For sure, I got on.
- 22:52Speaker 3: I can't wait to go back now.
- 22:54Speaker 6: I like Arnold's Country Kitchen for like a meeting two,
- 22:57Speaker 6: meeting three type of time. They've been like on like
- 23:01Speaker 6: Food Network quite a few times, and it's like family.
- 23:06Speaker 6: I'm trying to think, well, you try to slimmer huskies
- 23:09Speaker 6: for sure. For them, it's it's hell the spots.
- 23:12Speaker 5: I have a list.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Together for you, and we want to go to the club.
- 23:18Speaker 5: Yeah, we got to have the.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Party after because all I know wasnnk.
- 23:22Speaker 5: Nah, it's get deep. It's line dancing in the video, so.
- 23:28Speaker 2: You be doing it.
- 23:30Speaker 5: It's line dancing in the video.
- 23:31Speaker 3: You made a line dance for this time.
- 23:34Speaker 5: Nah, shout out my guy Justin Lee.
- 23:36Speaker 6: He's like a real deal line dance instructor. He did
- 23:40Speaker 6: the choreography for it. I'm I'm intruding in the line dancing.
- 23:44Speaker 6: I'm I had one too many of these and I'm
- 23:47Speaker 6: like falling out in the middle of the line dancing.
- 23:49Speaker 3: We feel you.
- 23:51Speaker 2: I got two left feet, but I'm gonna try.
- 23:52Speaker 6: But my guy can get You'll get y'all together. He
- 23:55Speaker 6: taught everybody at the video shoot.
- 23:56Speaker 5: It was. It was dope. It was like an all
- 23:58Speaker 5: female choreographer.
- 24:00Speaker 1: That's probably going crazy. I can't wait to see that.
- 24:03Speaker 1: I was gonna ask the girls, though, do.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Y'all like dancing ass niggas?
- 24:08Speaker 3: I do?
- 24:09Speaker 2: I do, And it'd be like they don't really dance here,
- 24:11Speaker 2: but like.
- 24:12Speaker 1: In other states and stuff, they be some dancing ass niggas,
- 24:14Speaker 1: Like move to them hips.
- 24:15Speaker 2: Boy, I see you, yeah, yeah, tip your hat, tip
- 24:22Speaker 2: your hats. Yeah.
- 24:26Speaker 5: But it's it's more than one Nashville.
- 24:27Speaker 6: You know. It's you said it was downtown you You're
- 24:31Speaker 6: way more likely to see that. But our club hip
- 24:36Speaker 6: hop urban clubs, it's probably exactly like y'all.
- 24:39Speaker 3: Nah, yeah, I went to the club too.
- 24:40Speaker 4: It was little I forget what it's called, but it
- 24:42Speaker 4: was like a glass club. It was like I went
- 24:46Speaker 4: to the local lounge too, but I don't remember.
- 24:48Speaker 5: What it was called.
- 24:51Speaker 1: All right, I got a question for you guys. So
- 24:53Speaker 1: I've seen this on Facebook. It says plot twist. I
- 24:57Speaker 1: ain't lose my man. I gained a girlfriend too. Now
- 25:00Speaker 1: with us laughing together, matching energy, stealing each other's clothes
- 25:03Speaker 1: and loving on the same man instead of cheating. I
- 25:06Speaker 1: told my man to bring home this other girlfriend. And
- 25:08Speaker 1: now we're taking pictures like this.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Where's the other girlfriend.
- 25:12Speaker 2: She's down on the bottom.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Oh, okay, that's probably the main bitch right there, down
- 25:17Speaker 1: up under the table.
- 25:18Speaker 4: I'm not being under the table, bro, y'all can think
- 25:21Speaker 4: that's the main bitch. Y'all gonna have to put me
- 25:23Speaker 4: up here, sitting on a chair. Yeah, she's sitting on
- 25:27Speaker 4: the side on the number two.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Times is hard?
- 25:31Speaker 4: Now?
- 25:31Speaker 2: Is this what we're doing?
- 25:32Speaker 4: Absolutely? I'm not going I can't do it. Just cheating
- 25:36Speaker 4: you adjusting your mic it's efficient.
- 25:41Speaker 2: I got a bitch. That got a bitch. I know
- 25:43Speaker 2: that's right.
- 25:44Speaker 4: Yeah, bro, I want to know who sits in the
- 25:46Speaker 4: front seat.
- 25:50Speaker 3: I swear I'm gonna be arguing. Y'all wants the front.
- 25:54Speaker 3: I swear I'm gonna call shotguns so quick.
- 25:58Speaker 5: Let both of them sit in the well.
- 26:00Speaker 3: I'm sending the ball.
- 26:01Speaker 2: That's then they're gonna be arguing over the back seat.
- 26:05Speaker 2: I'm gonna be like, but you ain't sitting with my man.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Get up here, let daddy lay. Yeah, y'all know I'm dumb.
- 26:10Speaker 4: Anyways, we're gonna talk this for me, Yo, what about
- 26:13Speaker 4: those titans.
- 26:16Speaker 3: A question for it?
- 26:23Speaker 2: Sounds great? I Uh, I don't know.
- 26:28Speaker 3: I'm worried.
- 26:28Speaker 2: The thing is, I could do it. I just feel
- 26:31Speaker 2: like my family gonna be like, you don't love yourself
- 26:34Speaker 2: no more?
- 26:36Speaker 4: Did he make you do this?
- 26:39Speaker 5: Like?
- 26:39Speaker 4: But I think that it's it makes sense. I think
- 26:43Speaker 4: it makes sense. It'll be fun to me from a
- 26:44Speaker 4: financial standpoint, or just from like a village, just having
- 26:48Speaker 4: that support within the home. Like, I'm just in such
- 26:51Speaker 4: a weird place in life with like dating and relationships.
- 26:55Speaker 2: I don't know if I just want to be a
- 26:56Speaker 2: full flace lesbon or just you know.
- 26:59Speaker 4: So I have the best of both worlds totally straight.
- 27:04Speaker 2: We share these niggas anyways, Kiki, Yeah.
- 27:07Speaker 3: She on me on your own time. I don't want
- 27:10Speaker 3: this bit.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Don't bring her in the house. You got to say,
- 27:13Speaker 2: but she could help you wash the dishes, That's what
- 27:16Speaker 2: I'm saying.
- 27:16Speaker 1: But she would feel like I think that she would
- 27:18Speaker 1: feel like my slave, and she's gonna be like, bitch, now.
- 27:20Speaker 4: What I think she would feel like my homegirl. I
- 27:23Speaker 4: heard them situations. They'd be like going to the nigga
- 27:26Speaker 4: like your favorite.
- 27:28Speaker 2: And then that's why we don't like.
- 27:29Speaker 3: We could jump this nigga together.
- 27:31Speaker 2: We don't imagine hearing rumbling in the next room.
- 27:34Speaker 4: Yeah, wouldn't be all domestic, No, because y'all probably gonna
- 27:37Speaker 4: be bumping.
- 27:37Speaker 3: I really like what he got. You fucked up, babe.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Let's go beat his ass. When y'all get to fighting,
- 27:44Speaker 3: you want.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Her, Let's go beat his ass.
- 27:47Speaker 3: We're not gonna fight.
- 27:49Speaker 2: We're not gonna fight, and if we did, I'll whipper.
- 27:53Speaker 2: That's why I was like being in the lesbian lea.
- 27:55Speaker 3: You got to give him a little some sweet fatigue beat.
- 27:59Speaker 5: I was gonna say, gotta you know you can walk?
- 28:01Speaker 2: Yeah, that's not a big cocky no.
- 28:05Speaker 4: No, I don't even want I like pettit bitches. Anyway,
- 28:08Speaker 4: So she's gonna be something I could toss some around.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Yeah, we don't know who.
- 28:18Speaker 4: That's why he treats her into getting him her.
- 28:23Speaker 6: I mean, it's just all about perspective. She could be
- 28:26Speaker 6: the leader of the pack, like, look at both of
- 28:28Speaker 6: my holes.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Behind me, Like, yeah, that's.
- 28:32Speaker 5: Look at my trophies behind that's give.
- 28:35Speaker 3: Your beneath me. I'm the main I'm sitting on.
- 28:38Speaker 6: You don't.
- 28:39Speaker 4: But also the main might just treat him better and
- 28:42Speaker 4: be like his home base and make him feel like
- 28:46Speaker 4: better than the better looking don't.
- 28:48Speaker 6: Look happy though, that's the why do you nobody?
- 28:54Speaker 3: They needed the number two abuse. The number two.
- 29:01Speaker 4: Them saved their relationship low. The number two say came
- 29:09Speaker 4: to say today my.
- 29:10Speaker 5: Niggat Iscey White Turtle, Nick Man, you got watching?
- 29:14Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 29:17Speaker 6: I mean, I'm on the side of like it might
- 29:22Speaker 6: be a controversial take, this is what we are doing anyway.
- 29:25Speaker 6: I kind of lean into the everybody's sharing everybody to
- 29:29Speaker 6: a certain extent. I think understanding is worth goal, but
- 29:34Speaker 6: I do think most people don't have the stomach for it.
- 29:37Speaker 6: It's like you said, like where you're at with day
- 29:40Speaker 6: right now? Like it sounds good until you really in
- 29:42Speaker 6: them trenches and it's like, you know, you gotta share
- 29:45Speaker 6: or you you know, divide your time, your interest.
- 29:48Speaker 5: And I don't know.
- 29:50Speaker 6: I think cohabitating with with two women sounds.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Intense, but just think about it, because the fun of
- 30:00Speaker 1: it would be like, Okay, if one is unavailable, the
- 30:02Speaker 1: other one is, but then they period is gonna sink
- 30:04Speaker 1: and ship. So it's just like not both of y'all
- 30:06Speaker 1: getting on my damn nerves.
- 30:07Speaker 5: But we're talking like living like real relationship.
- 30:11Speaker 1: This house better be spotless. It's two women in here.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Dinner better be made promptly. I want snacks. I want
- 30:17Speaker 1: to sandwich at three in the morning.
- 30:19Speaker 4: I might need to be the men with two women.
- 30:23Speaker 1: We split, but we could split that word. Yeah, it's
- 30:27Speaker 1: supposed to. Everybody is supposed to, you know, put in
- 30:29Speaker 1: their own work. So that's why Polygon could be like Barb,
- 30:32Speaker 1: I made the sandwich friend No, just for example.
- 30:36Speaker 4: Oh maybe, but first I could be like Barb, night,
- 30:43Speaker 4: you make it tonight.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm saying it sounds it's fine. Twenty somewhere.
- 30:49Speaker 4: I would take a shutt talk to me after the
- 30:53Speaker 4: episode without your twin. Okay, Wall have fun with that,
- 31:00Speaker 4: I ain't I'd be jealous.
- 31:05Speaker 1: You said you like sports, right, so what sport do
- 31:08Speaker 1: you think that you could go pro in?
- 31:10Speaker 5: It's over with?
- 31:11Speaker 3: It's over?
- 31:12Speaker 2: Is you an o G now something like that?
- 31:16Speaker 6: I mean, I was basketball is kind of my thing
- 31:20Speaker 6: growing up. I played football when I was really young,
- 31:23Speaker 6: but I don't think I looked at it like going pro.
- 31:28Speaker 6: Like shit, probably twelve years old, you had people at
- 31:31Speaker 6: basketball camps telling you like, you're.
- 31:33Speaker 5: Not going pro?
- 31:34Speaker 2: Oh damn?
- 31:35Speaker 5: Really?
- 31:36Speaker 6: I mean the odds, I guess it's four hundred and
- 31:38Speaker 6: fifty NBA players, but I mean that's not the only
- 31:41Speaker 6: way to go pro. So I do kind of feel
- 31:43Speaker 6: like they was kind of stunning our growth for shipping
- 31:46Speaker 6: on our dreams, telling us because I had like two
- 31:49Speaker 6: teammates on my high school team that played pro ball,
- 31:52Speaker 6: so it wasn't as far away as like one might
- 31:55Speaker 6: have thought.
- 31:56Speaker 5: Right it would have been basketball.
- 31:58Speaker 2: I guess, is your play baseball?
- 32:01Speaker 5: Never? I'll never played never.
- 32:03Speaker 4: Okay, speaking of basketball. So they always in the comments,
- 32:07Speaker 4: they be calling us Brian Wade bosh, they be calling
- 32:10Speaker 4: us the twenty seventeen Warriors and stuff like if you
- 32:14Speaker 4: could like compare you if you compare it could compare
- 32:19Speaker 4: you and Dine Trip to Likenba terms who what duo
- 32:23Speaker 4: do you feel like best described?
- 32:25Speaker 5: Y'all?
- 32:26Speaker 6: Uh shit, I think Trip as far as it is
- 32:30Speaker 6: Pipping and Jordan's Oh, I think Cope and Shacks a
- 32:36Speaker 6: good one.
- 32:38Speaker 3: I mean, I'll be humble.
- 32:40Speaker 6: No, I don't think nobody can fuck with us like
- 32:44Speaker 6: that's just my that's my takeod So whoever whoever's at
- 32:47Speaker 6: the top of the top in times of tandems to
- 32:51Speaker 6: you know, for y'all sakes, it's three parts, it's a
- 32:55Speaker 6: trio kind of thing. But whoever you will put it
- 32:58Speaker 6: at the top of those lists is who I would
- 33:02Speaker 6: compare us to, if that's even worth doing. But yeah,
- 33:05Speaker 6: I just think like me and Bro. He just dropped
- 33:08Speaker 6: the album to Day with Eddie Volero called Armageddon.
- 33:11Speaker 5: I'm on there.
- 33:12Speaker 6: I think track six shut out the Crag. But yeah,
- 33:16Speaker 6: I would say I will probably go Penny and Shack
- 33:22Speaker 6: because that's just my time favorite. But they didn't have
- 33:27Speaker 6: the accolades that you know, to support it, So I
- 33:30Speaker 6: guess Kobe and Shack, Jordan and Pippen would be the
- 33:33Speaker 6: best comparison.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Like what's our big three come on.
- 33:42Speaker 1: That's right, but why are we talking like sports and athleticism.
- 33:47Speaker 4: I see you been in these running clubs and I
- 33:51Speaker 4: it's just on all on my algorithm. It was saying that,
- 33:55Speaker 4: like the running clubs is the new spots to meet
- 33:56Speaker 4: the love of your life.
- 33:58Speaker 5: Okay, the running part of it.
- 34:01Speaker 6: I just for the first time ran with a running
- 34:03Speaker 6: club like a week ago.
- 34:05Speaker 5: So I've been running. I've been running in races.
- 34:07Speaker 6: The run clubs are like actual clubs and shout out
- 34:11Speaker 6: to six Run five. I joined one of their open
- 34:14Speaker 6: runs they do, like some weekly things. Before that, I
- 34:18Speaker 6: went to a block party they had.
- 34:19Speaker 5: It was like after the.
- 34:20Speaker 6: Half marathon that we had in April in Nashville, and
- 34:25Speaker 6: it was just dope to see like so many black
- 34:28Speaker 6: people in a traditionally like white part of town on
- 34:31Speaker 6: the same type of time because it was I want
- 34:34Speaker 6: to say it was like thirty thousand people that ran
- 34:35Speaker 6: in the half marathon or whatnot, but like they had
- 34:41Speaker 6: basically a block party right in front of the Lulu
- 34:43Speaker 6: limits store in the Gults, which is super like commercial,
- 34:48Speaker 6: so I like that, and it was just so many
- 34:50Speaker 6: of us out there just on some like cool like
- 34:54Speaker 6: kicking it. I mean, the race was like six in
- 34:57Speaker 6: the morning, so the block party was probably like eight
- 34:59Speaker 6: nine am to like twelve.
- 35:01Speaker 5: It was just such a different vibe. So many of
- 35:04Speaker 5: us out there.
- 35:05Speaker 6: People just fit kicking it, smiling like and so I
- 35:10Speaker 6: tapped in a little farther with their club from there,
- 35:13Speaker 6: and I see the same like memes and all those things.
- 35:18Speaker 6: I don't know, I don't have that experience. I've been running.
- 35:21Speaker 6: That's like kind of probably my biggest hobby or just
- 35:24Speaker 6: something that I enjoyed doing. But the club part, like
- 35:27Speaker 6: we're trying to start something kind of parallel to it
- 35:30Speaker 6: with the part because all of us run together and
- 35:32Speaker 6: those races we've been doing like one five k a
- 35:35Speaker 6: month this whole year.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Club twenty you already to run look at them.
- 35:42Speaker 4: Sorry, that is just so you just have like a
- 35:46Speaker 4: new pr like like with the five k y'all did
- 35:50Speaker 4: and what April.
- 35:52Speaker 6: Yeah, well, the last I think the last three competitive
- 35:56Speaker 6: verses I ran in I said, I set a PR
- 35:58Speaker 6: like each time.
- 35:59Speaker 3: So and it cuts off.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Running is so hard, It's so hard.
- 36:07Speaker 3: Did you ever run track?
- 36:10Speaker 5: So?
- 36:11Speaker 4: And did you pick up like you just picked running
- 36:13Speaker 4: up like or you always been fit and you just
- 36:17Speaker 4: kind of got into me.
- 36:17Speaker 6: I was I was athletic, but running was really never
- 36:20Speaker 6: my thing. It was I picked it up around the
- 36:24Speaker 6: time that my daughter was born.
- 36:25Speaker 5: I got seven year old, and.
- 36:28Speaker 6: Around the time when she was a new born, it
- 36:30Speaker 6: was like kind of my like stress relief just to
- 36:35Speaker 6: get out the house from screaming, screaming new born baby.
- 36:39Speaker 6: Like I go, you know, run around the block and
- 36:41Speaker 6: just keep myself active. And by the time she started walking,
- 36:44Speaker 6: was like when COVID hit and so it wasn't shit
- 36:47Speaker 6: open and so.
- 36:49Speaker 5: That was like kind of you know, two bars of
- 36:53Speaker 5: one stone.
- 36:54Speaker 6: It was kind of the only thing I could do
- 36:56Speaker 6: at the time and also helped me like clear my mind.
- 36:59Speaker 6: And I just kind of stuck with it from there.
- 37:03Speaker 6: I mean, she started walking, and I was like I
- 37:06Speaker 6: would be out of breath and ship picking up chasing
- 37:08Speaker 6: around the house because she started running when she started walking,
- 37:10Speaker 6: and I'm like, damn, I need to get in better shape.
- 37:12Speaker 6: So started taking the more serious and just fitness journey
- 37:18Speaker 6: at large. I got a trainer and was I was
- 37:21Speaker 6: showing a book and I'm just I just feel like
- 37:23Speaker 6: I'm gonna be slim forever. The party and I want
- 37:28Speaker 6: to be around for my kids, and was just about
- 37:31Speaker 6: that as much as anything.
- 37:33Speaker 2: Do you be feeling like the runners high?
- 37:35Speaker 5: They for sure?
- 37:36Speaker 4: I only felt that ship one time you be running, No,
- 37:40Speaker 4: I said, I felt it one time, like a random
- 37:43Speaker 4: hot Like I was like, I ran three miles. That
- 37:46Speaker 4: was the longest I ever ran and without stopping right
- 37:49Speaker 4: and I was just running and I didn't feel no pain,
- 37:52Speaker 4: and it like kind of felt good.
- 37:54Speaker 2: And I was like, is this the runners how they
- 37:57Speaker 2: be talking about?
- 37:58Speaker 4: And I ain't felty sense, I mean, so I just
- 38:01Speaker 4: seen all like the memes and stuff about finding the
- 38:03Speaker 4: men at the running club.
- 38:04Speaker 2: That's the only reason I'm interested. And I'm just like,
- 38:07Speaker 2: I don't think I'm that comedic. I don't want to
- 38:09Speaker 2: find him in the regular club.
- 38:11Speaker 3: Let's try it.
- 38:12Speaker 2: I can't run, you can, you can? You can do anything.
- 38:16Speaker 5: You Yeah, run your own.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Race, gonna get her out perfect.
- 38:22Speaker 6: Welcome you'll running club, and I'm coming.
- 38:28Speaker 4: When you first started running, y'all ask your ass gonna
- 38:32Speaker 4: be slapping itself, and it's gonna be hurting until you
- 38:37Speaker 4: until you get used to it, It's gonna be hurt.
- 38:39Speaker 2: I've never experienced that, never moved around that much.
- 38:42Speaker 3: To know we can do it.
- 38:46Speaker 5: Come down tomorrow, We're gonna go for a nice brisk power.
- 38:49Speaker 6: Walk just out the thee of what's slapping.
- 38:56Speaker 3: The okay tomorrow. What we're doing.
- 39:00Speaker 2: We're racing. Oh, We're getting in the field parawalk all day.
- 39:05Speaker 3: I'm bullshit.
- 39:06Speaker 5: I mean, people walk in the five k's and the races.
- 39:09Speaker 2: I'm gonna be with the.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Making myself not stop. I ain't stopping.
- 39:14Speaker 4: So is that a requirement for a woman to be
- 39:16Speaker 4: like on her fitness journey for you?
- 39:19Speaker 6: I mean I prefer some toned and fit and you know,
- 39:25Speaker 6: well proportioned and all that. I mean, I think health
- 39:28Speaker 6: as well, So you don't got to be a fitness
- 39:32Speaker 6: nut or whatever.
- 39:33Speaker 5: But it's attractive.
- 39:35Speaker 6: I mean I think it all run together like mind, body,
- 39:38Speaker 6: So like I think taking care of yourself is you know,
- 39:42Speaker 6: I've interact with people that like teach me shit about
- 39:47Speaker 6: like wellness overall about your dyet and like things I
- 39:51Speaker 6: ain't knowing about it.
- 39:52Speaker 1: She's drinking water now and I do pilates twice a week,
- 39:57Speaker 1: keep it tight.
- 40:00Speaker 6: But yeah, that's I mean, that's definitely attractive. It ain't
- 40:02Speaker 6: a requirement. But if you're on the opposite in and
- 40:05Speaker 6: you just eating bad and causual title.
- 40:08Speaker 5: And you know.
- 40:09Speaker 6: It's like a disconnection if you discourage it or you
- 40:13Speaker 6: frown on it. I ain't working with that, Like who
- 40:16Speaker 6: ain't trying to better theyself? That's how one of y'all like, man,
- 40:20Speaker 6: black people make fun of people for anything they do.
- 40:23Speaker 4: Yeah, they was mad on one of my electrolys, Like
- 40:27Speaker 4: we weren't mad in real life.
- 40:28Speaker 2: We imagine I was.
- 40:30Speaker 3: We was drunk.
- 40:35Speaker 1: It's like in practice, I'm like, damn, because I want
- 40:38Speaker 1: to drink a body armor, Like.
- 40:39Speaker 2: What's what's the problem?
- 40:41Speaker 3: We apologize.
- 40:42Speaker 2: I don't accept it. Got a lot of sugar, it
- 40:45Speaker 2: was zero sugar water. I eat this lemon boar man.
- 40:52Speaker 5: I tried to put twice. That ship is intense.
- 40:55Speaker 1: I like it though, like how you were saying, like
- 40:57Speaker 1: running out of core, running like just you know you're
- 41:01Speaker 1: stress and all that. That hot mat is like crazy.
- 41:04Speaker 1: It's ninety degrees in there. You're just dripping sweat. It's dark.
- 41:08Speaker 3: I sweat.
- 41:10Speaker 5: It was like the infrared, but the hot.
- 41:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like ninety degrees in your I don't know
- 41:16Speaker 1: how they heat it if it's infrared, if it's the
- 41:18Speaker 1: thermbstat they're broken, this motherfucker.
- 41:20Speaker 2: But it's just like it'd be hot.
- 41:22Speaker 1: And I'm not a person that sweats like that, but
- 41:24Speaker 1: I was like dripping on the mat. I'm like, oh, yeah,
- 41:27Speaker 1: let's go.
- 41:28Speaker 2: I like it. I really enjoy it. I need to
- 41:31Speaker 2: get more than twice a week.
- 41:34Speaker 4: When you get in a groove, it do make you
- 41:36Speaker 4: want to keep going. But when you follow off, you
- 41:38Speaker 4: just be like next week Wednesday.
- 41:42Speaker 3: M Oh, you said you got one kid, but you
- 41:46Speaker 3: said you wanted three, so you're still working on it.
- 41:48Speaker 2: He said he wanted three in the middle of the weeks.
- 41:52Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's so one and done.
- 41:55Speaker 2: Toxic laid out.
- 42:03Speaker 3: A little bit some twin vibes. Lord, you are no.
- 42:11Speaker 5: I mean yeah, I don't know if I'm doing or not.
- 42:14Speaker 2: Would be like, we don't know either, you don't.
- 42:20Speaker 6: I mean I said that before I had one, So
- 42:23Speaker 6: you know, fatherhood is like a real thing.
- 42:27Speaker 4: Yeah, got children, Yep, welcome to the hood.
- 42:37Speaker 2: We got a lot of daves looking be here. Yeah, Oh, we're.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Actually the thirty fourth rown pick is what be here
- 42:43Speaker 1: called us?
- 42:44Speaker 4: Third track means that means our baby daddy's already having Mama's.
- 42:53Speaker 3: Don't don't mean, don't do us here? Let him explain.
- 42:58Speaker 1: They can't hear him anyways, let him talk to Lido
- 43:05Speaker 1: D say ninety nine p. One hundred ninety nine.
- 43:13Speaker 4: Still still hope, I'm not no fourth and fifth pick
- 43:17Speaker 4: I'm the first?
- 43:18Speaker 3: Mama?
- 43:19Speaker 2: What she is he talking about it?
- 43:20Speaker 3: I am too well?
- 43:22Speaker 4: I wanted halfway, yeah, yes, one of her.
- 43:27Speaker 2: For the first I got to I'm not like fifth.
- 43:35Speaker 1: I think I think I'm third. I don't know if
- 43:38Speaker 1: I'm fourth. It's still right, right, jury is still out
- 43:42Speaker 1: on that baby.
- 43:47Speaker 2: Were there.
- 43:51Speaker 4: Still went viral calling us the third and fourth?
- 43:53Speaker 3: Anyways, anyways, anyways, anyways, we all want to know. So
- 43:58Speaker 3: when did you fall in love with hip hop? I'm
- 44:02Speaker 3: gonna say.
- 44:08Speaker 5: That's a real question.
- 44:09Speaker 4: Yeah, but like, did you did you know that you
- 44:12Speaker 4: always wanted to be like a rap artist? Saying who
- 44:15Speaker 4: inspires you?
- 44:18Speaker 2: Potty?
- 44:18Speaker 5: No, I ain't always know when the first part when
- 44:22Speaker 5: I fell in love with hip hop?
- 44:24Speaker 6: I would say somewhere between, like, uh, I can remember
- 44:29Speaker 6: the first songs that kind of I guess gave me
- 44:33Speaker 6: that feeling would have been like nothing but a g thing.
- 44:38Speaker 5: It was doctor dry snoop. Today was a good day.
- 44:42Speaker 6: Ice Cube that that actually might have been the one,
- 44:46Speaker 6: because I can remember like the I Brother song that
- 44:48Speaker 6: He's sample coming on the radio and I like cut
- 44:51Speaker 6: the radio up and it wasn't ice Cube when I
- 44:53Speaker 6: was mad as her, like I ain't understand what the
- 44:56Speaker 6: sample was or I ain't know the old songs A
- 44:58Speaker 6: kid and don't that song and it was like a
- 45:02Speaker 6: song Minister Society soundtrack that was like I think it
- 45:07Speaker 6: was a straight up minute, like he was telling the
- 45:11Speaker 6: story from the movie, and I just I had seen
- 45:14Speaker 6: the movie, so I understood.
- 45:16Speaker 5: The song so well.
- 45:17Speaker 6: I was like, man, that's that's cold that he told
- 45:19Speaker 6: that story in rap form, like today was a good day,
- 45:22Speaker 6: like he told like a day in the life of
- 45:24Speaker 6: somebody in the hood, like nothing but a g thing,
- 45:27Speaker 6: Like even though it's cali.
- 45:29Speaker 5: It like made sense that like this how they live.
- 45:32Speaker 6: And it looked how my big cousins and uncles was
- 45:35Speaker 6: rocking at the time, So it was kind of that
- 45:38Speaker 6: like art Imitate's life thing.
- 45:40Speaker 5: It drew me in as far as me wanting to
- 45:43Speaker 5: be a rapper and all that. That was that kind
- 45:45Speaker 5: of way.
- 45:45Speaker 6: Later, I was probably in high school and I actually
- 45:47Speaker 6: wanted to make beats. First, I wanted to be the
- 45:50Speaker 6: many fresh of the clique. I mean it was no
- 45:54Speaker 6: limit and then cash money and all that was probably
- 45:57Speaker 6: what he was looking up to, you know, being from
- 45:58Speaker 6: the South. But I never really wanted to be the rapper.
- 46:03Speaker 6: I was trying to make beats, and my beasts was
- 46:04Speaker 6: sorry as hell, but I was writing something. There beat
- 46:08Speaker 6: I made and my partners dad was rapping was I
- 46:12Speaker 6: was like, get on this song with us, and you know,
- 46:14Speaker 6: the first few songs, I got so much more feedback
- 46:18Speaker 6: from the raps.
- 46:20Speaker 5: That is just I guess some confidence came with it.
- 46:23Speaker 5: I set them beats to the side and just locked in.
- 46:26Speaker 6: By then, I was I was probably infatuated with like
- 46:29Speaker 6: the culture of it than I that and and I
- 46:32Speaker 6: wanted what it seemed like I came with it, and
- 46:35Speaker 6: I just you know, it was basketball and the gravity
- 46:39Speaker 6: of that, Like I might could go to college and playboy,
- 46:41Speaker 6: but shit, I really think I could do something with this.
- 46:44Speaker 6: With this music thing, you know, just kind of turned
- 46:49Speaker 6: into a real thing. I graduated in high school and
- 46:51Speaker 6: probably like two years later, I was signing had a
- 46:54Speaker 6: record deal.
- 46:55Speaker 2: That's dope.
- 46:56Speaker 5: Went from there, are you free?
- 46:59Speaker 3: Style?
- 47:01Speaker 4: I can I mean, I'm not saying like sat.
- 47:08Speaker 5: I definitely what I was like, I ain't drunk enough
- 47:10Speaker 5: to do that.
- 47:16Speaker 3: I have seen you talk about with Cassidy.
- 47:19Speaker 4: I was like going back and forth, wrapping in like
- 47:21Speaker 4: the full circle moment that y'all had had or whatever.
- 47:23Speaker 4: So I'm like, can he freestyle? I'm always super impressed
- 47:26Speaker 4: by people that can freestyle.
- 47:27Speaker 6: So yeah, it's I mean, I think that's a that's
- 47:30Speaker 6: like a whole separate skill all his own, like, and
- 47:34Speaker 6: I think that was some some fun ship, some ship
- 47:38Speaker 6: we used to do. Like I mean, there's people that
- 47:42Speaker 6: I think are very very good at it, and that's
- 47:45Speaker 6: like cool, but I'm I'm more like into the artistry
- 47:49Speaker 6: of it, like although you can come, Like I said,
- 47:52Speaker 6: the thinking that you song was pretty much the freestyle
- 47:55Speaker 6: like I took from the beat. It was like, I
- 47:58Speaker 6: don't want to I don't want make a love song.
- 48:00Speaker 6: I want to go to the opposite direction. And I
- 48:02Speaker 6: kind of freestyled that which I heard other than but
- 48:07Speaker 6: that still was like a thought of like, I'm not
- 48:09Speaker 6: gonna go this direction. I'm gonna like So I guess
- 48:12Speaker 6: technically that's writing or whatever, but I think as far
- 48:15Speaker 6: as it's just more value to me putting my thoughts
- 48:18Speaker 6: to it and put my pen or work and then
- 48:21Speaker 6: actually freestyling. But it's people that probably freestyle better than
- 48:25Speaker 6: they write, you know.
- 48:26Speaker 3: That's I think it's interesting that you said that you
- 48:30Speaker 3: were like drawn to the artists with the storytelling because
- 48:32Speaker 3: I think you like have a knack for storytelling and
- 48:36Speaker 3: just relatability, relatability in general, and I gotta inspire.
- 48:43Speaker 4: I was just gonna say, do you think that that's
- 48:45Speaker 4: maybe why you are like exploring potting now, like doing
- 48:50Speaker 4: a podcast and everything, because I feel like, you know,
- 48:53Speaker 4: podcast that's like a former artistry as well.
- 48:56Speaker 3: You know, you're being vulnerable, you're telling your story.
- 48:58Speaker 6: Yeah, I think storytelling is part of what what drew
- 49:03Speaker 6: me to it Like that was that was kind of
- 49:06Speaker 6: the premise of it. We wanted to tell black Nashville story.
- 49:10Speaker 6: We want to tell stories that haven't been told, and like,
- 49:14Speaker 6: who better to tell our own stories than us. There's
- 49:17Speaker 6: a lot of times when you let other people tell
- 49:19Speaker 6: your story for you. So yeah, that that's for sure
- 49:26Speaker 6: is a.
- 49:26Speaker 5: Part of it.
- 49:27Speaker 6: I think I'm a writer first more than anything, so
- 49:30Speaker 6: I'm trying to use this space to push me in
- 49:32Speaker 6: a direction of be able to to tell my story
- 49:36Speaker 6: and like text form and book form, Like that's the
- 49:41Speaker 6: next venture I want to get into, is putting my
- 49:43Speaker 6: story together as like a memoir or something that people
- 49:47Speaker 6: can hold, can have carry it with them. So I
- 49:50Speaker 6: think the pot these these vulnerable conversations that we have
- 49:54Speaker 6: is like one it's almost like a group therapy.
- 49:57Speaker 5: Session that we get to have.
- 49:59Speaker 3: We love, we love, yeah, and the one is so.
- 50:03Speaker 6: It's a mix of that, the storytelling part and just
- 50:07Speaker 6: it's kind of like healthy, we need balance and also
- 50:11Speaker 6: like I think as a hip hop artist, I've give
- 50:14Speaker 6: them more than half of my life to this shit,
- 50:16Speaker 6: and it's like it's a lot of shit that's not
- 50:19Speaker 6: that I don't think is cool.
- 50:21Speaker 5: That's like made to be cool that I just outgrown.
- 50:25Speaker 5: And I'm like, man, it's shurean cool. Like people need
- 50:28Speaker 5: to be taught, like you can do something else, Like
- 50:29Speaker 5: you don't have to be you don't have to try
- 50:32Speaker 5: to be the man. You know what I'm saying.
- 50:33Speaker 6: You can survive being part of a whole, you know,
- 50:36Speaker 6: the team building aspect, Like far it's cool. Somebody might
- 50:39Speaker 6: think I am as the rapper on the pot it's
- 50:42Speaker 6: like this nigga is a poly lawyer, got this and
- 50:45Speaker 6: that going on this nigga four and five businesses, Like
- 50:48Speaker 6: I think they're as cool as y'all probably think I am, right,
- 50:51Speaker 6: And so it's like sharing that space and telling those
- 50:54Speaker 6: stories is like important.
- 50:57Speaker 5: Like we gotta highlight more than just the bells and whistles.
- 51:02Speaker 4: The what the algorithm tells us to, like right, like
- 51:07Speaker 4: and the versatility, even the versatility of not just like
- 51:10Speaker 4: your podcast mates, but also like just the versatility of
- 51:14Speaker 4: like not the country you know, and just like stepping
- 51:17Speaker 4: out into a different space musically within your artistry and
- 51:21Speaker 4: just exposing like your fans, two different a whole different
- 51:27Speaker 4: genre of really like that's versatility in itself as well.
- 51:33Speaker 4: I had a surface level asked question. Y'all just went
- 51:35Speaker 4: real deep and and great, and I appreciate that because
- 51:39Speaker 4: but I have seen you say, like the not the
- 51:41Speaker 4: country you know? Are you thinking?
- 51:44Speaker 2: Go ahead?
- 51:45Speaker 3: And then it was.
- 51:49Speaker 4: Because you know obviously when you think of like country,
- 51:51Speaker 4: you think of like, you know, the regular country, so yeah,
- 51:56Speaker 4: and then you like yeah, so we just on there
- 51:58Speaker 4: were just on their wrapping sounding like ourselves, and I'm like,
- 52:01Speaker 4: I know that's right. You know, like when you think
- 52:04Speaker 4: of country, you think of like one thing and then
- 52:07Speaker 4: it's just like hold on. But and you was, like
- 52:11Speaker 4: I've seen on one interview you was like, it's country
- 52:14Speaker 4: because of where we're from, and it's like we can't
- 52:18Speaker 4: be forgotten.
- 52:19Speaker 6: Like I mean, a lot of country music artists aren't
- 52:21Speaker 6: even from Nashville. Like one of the most talented artists
- 52:24Speaker 6: I met in the last year really exploring that space
- 52:30Speaker 6: was from Canada, and like I'm not saying that he's
- 52:34Speaker 6: cosplaying or faking or anything, but it was like I
- 52:37Speaker 6: was impressed, and how will he sounds like all.
- 52:41Speaker 5: The country artists that y'all might have heard of. And
- 52:44Speaker 5: I was like, damn, that's that's cool. That's interesting.
- 52:47Speaker 6: It's just like the okay, think about like it's just
- 52:49Speaker 6: Elbow or what's his name, Damse and whatever doing on
- 52:53Speaker 6: snow five Like they're from England and can play.
- 52:58Speaker 5: Hood niggas americanized like and they do it well.
- 53:03Speaker 6: It's like nobody complaining about it, like they doing what
- 53:05Speaker 6: they're supposed to do. But Okay, a better example. The
- 53:09Speaker 6: other dude that's on Snowfire that was Stisy from the Wood.
- 53:12Speaker 6: He's from there, like it doesn't get much realer than
- 53:16Speaker 6: somebody that from the turff, like really damn even acting.
- 53:22Speaker 6: And so that's that's really what I'm saying, is like,
- 53:26Speaker 6: I mean, you can't invalidate like this, this is this
- 53:31Speaker 6: ain't that, but this is like authentically, like this is.
- 53:34Speaker 5: As Nashville as it gets. It's just not a postcard
- 53:38Speaker 5: that you used to get.
- 53:40Speaker 3: I like it. It's a statement.
- 53:41Speaker 1: When y'are talking about country, I'm just thinking the cowboys,
- 53:45Speaker 1: And it just made me think I wanted to ask
- 53:47Speaker 1: the girls about this too, Like Leo, why do you
- 53:50Speaker 1: think that women have always been crazy about bad boys?
- 53:55Speaker 3: Oh? Yeah, because you got that sound bad for you?
- 54:00Speaker 3: Good question, because you know you like to play that.
- 54:07Speaker 5: No, that was that was that was autobiographical.
- 54:10Speaker 3: Yeah, that was bad boys good.
- 54:12Speaker 2: For years, women have loved bad boys.
- 54:14Speaker 6: I think I think it goes both boys, Like I
- 54:18Speaker 6: think we we always want what we can't have, We
- 54:22Speaker 6: always want what we shouldn't have.
- 54:25Speaker 5: Like I know, I grew up like that.
- 54:27Speaker 6: If somebody told me like, don't do that, I'm that
- 54:30Speaker 6: much more curious about it. I want to figure out why,
- 54:33Speaker 6: you know, I'm you know, I want to explore I
- 54:36Speaker 6: want to figure it out, and sometimes it's like the
- 54:38Speaker 6: lure of stuff. That's really probably my only explanation is
- 54:44Speaker 6: bad for you something, It's like ship. It's just kind
- 54:47Speaker 6: of just being honest, like I ain't, I ain't perfect.
- 54:51Speaker 6: I ain't I'm not probably your prototype whatever, but I
- 54:54Speaker 6: ain't the worst.
- 54:55Speaker 5: Either, you know.
- 54:56Speaker 2: So that's real. That's how I feel. For y'allladies, Why
- 55:00Speaker 2: do you think that women want bad bad boys with you?
- 55:05Speaker 6: Girl?
- 55:05Speaker 3: Why we gotta start with me because you for being
- 55:08Speaker 3: fruit forbidden fruit?
- 55:11Speaker 1: Is it a forbidden thing or is it like a
- 55:13Speaker 1: comfort Well maybe because I'm ghetto I'm from like maybe
- 55:16Speaker 1: it's just like a comfort thing.
- 55:18Speaker 2: I'm not ghetto, I'm not ghetto. Let me not say that.
- 55:20Speaker 1: It's not that I'm ghetto. I was raising, I was
- 55:22Speaker 1: raising the hood and it was just like a comfort thing.
- 55:25Speaker 1: So like even if I want a reformed, you know,
- 55:29Speaker 1: bad guy, I still want that to be there, you know.
- 55:32Speaker 4: Like I don't know, I don't know.
- 55:34Speaker 2: Why is it because it's forbidden?
- 55:36Speaker 3: Is it?
- 55:36Speaker 6: Like?
- 55:37Speaker 3: Nah, I don't think you just like.
- 55:40Speaker 4: A square nigga can't really handle me, for I don't.
- 55:43Speaker 2: Like, shut the fuck up.
- 55:46Speaker 3: We're not doing that today.
- 55:48Speaker 4: You say, what about for you try? I don't like
- 55:54Speaker 4: bad boys, forbidden fruit just with y'all, ye forbidden. It's
- 56:02Speaker 4: just because it's just like.
- 56:06Speaker 3: I don't know, it's just who I don't want to
- 56:09Speaker 3: straight up and down, like I don't know.
- 56:13Speaker 4: I need a masculine figure, somebody who's possibly maybe I
- 56:22Speaker 4: need someone territorial. I need someone who stand on business because.
- 56:25Speaker 3: I will.
- 56:29Speaker 4: Y'all know, I'm like the Nigga the crew, Like I'm
- 56:31Speaker 4: the miss Nigga, So you gotta be more niggerish than me,
- 56:38Speaker 4: I hear you.
- 56:40Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, I mean I think it's words is worse.
- 56:55Speaker 3: He's so philosophical.
- 56:57Speaker 6: I'm saying that like no two days. I like, no,
- 57:01Speaker 6: no two people. Like somebody might can take that and
- 57:04Speaker 6: it be a term of endearment. Somebody might be offended
- 57:07Speaker 6: by it, like you know what I'm saying from a
- 57:10Speaker 6: woman's stand, Okay, okay, Like yeah, you gotta kind of
- 57:15Speaker 6: know who and what you're dealing with, because it, for
- 57:18Speaker 6: show could be offensive on one end, and then it's
- 57:22Speaker 6: it's just it's just worse. It's just casual. Like you know,
- 57:25Speaker 6: I was talking to somebody who was like man, I
- 57:30Speaker 6: don't think it's crazy to curse when I pray kind
- 57:35Speaker 6: of thing, like you know, I'm.
- 57:38Speaker 5: A belief that like God knows my heart.
- 57:41Speaker 6: I'm like I'm it's just how I express myself like
- 57:45Speaker 6: and the saying could be saying in relationships like you
- 57:47Speaker 6: know what, I'm not calling you like, I'm not putting
- 57:49Speaker 6: you down, calling you a female dog. And the rocketry
- 57:52Speaker 6: since it's possessive in the sense like you mind, like
- 57:56Speaker 6: I call.
- 57:57Speaker 5: You mind, whatever, my boob, my babe, my girl. Somebody
- 58:01Speaker 5: can say I'm not a girl a woman, you know so.
- 58:04Speaker 5: But at the same time, like I said, you gotta
- 58:06Speaker 5: know where they are with it, and just probably.
- 58:08Speaker 1: Read THEO said I'm a pimp to a hoe and
- 58:12Speaker 1: a dog to a bitch.
- 58:16Speaker 5: To a woman.
- 58:17Speaker 3: Yeah, so there we go.
- 58:21Speaker 2: Yeah, so we didn't even do words on rocks or
- 58:24Speaker 2: that we didn't do words on the rocks. You want
- 58:28Speaker 2: to do words on the rocks?
- 58:30Speaker 3: Oh, well, did you have the words on rocks?
- 58:32Speaker 4: Words on the rocks is growing hard, baby, Words from
- 58:37Speaker 4: the blocks, that's what we're talking about.
- 58:38Speaker 2: That's what we're talking about.
- 58:39Speaker 4: Oh no, yeah, we do got words words from the
- 58:41Speaker 4: block today and it is you know, in honor of
- 58:44Speaker 4: Jermaine E.
- 58:44Speaker 3: Then I ain't gonna hold you. That was a fire
- 58:47Speaker 3: ass play on words. I heard you say it in
- 58:49Speaker 3: the album.
- 58:49Speaker 4: I'm like, that's cute because your real name is Jermaine. Okay,
- 58:54Speaker 4: obviously it's Hawaiians with a long oh. But okay, we
- 59:01Speaker 4: do our homework a little bit. Did y'all see do
- 59:03Speaker 4: y'all know his middle name already?
- 59:05Speaker 2: He wants his middle name.
- 59:07Speaker 4: I'm not trying to be I'm not trying to be
- 59:09Speaker 4: I'm not trying to be fed however, I'm just trying
- 59:12Speaker 4: to see something.
- 59:12Speaker 3: Do y'all know his middle name yet? I didn't know
- 59:18Speaker 3: your middle name?
- 59:20Speaker 4: If I say that his middle name is a common
- 59:23Speaker 4: ass middle name for when black moms have a little boy,
- 59:27Speaker 4: I bet you'll can get I guess it's no, it's
- 59:31Speaker 4: not Lamart, Lamar nod one girl, Deonta.
- 59:35Speaker 3: Malis what is Anthony? You're getting close? No, Antonio, let start.
- 59:47Speaker 2: Give a slitty y'all.
- 59:48Speaker 3: Got nothing else. It's not that though. It's not even okay.
- 59:56Speaker 4: So if I tell y'all start with Ed and y'all
- 59:58Speaker 4: still can't get it. Eric, But it's a common that's
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: a first name. Yes it is, okay, well anyway, and honor.
- 1:00:12Speaker 6: It is.
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: I can't even I'm not on go.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: You can't google me.
- 1:00:16Speaker 5: So we so we're gonna.
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: We're gonna hord that.
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: He got a normal middle name though, Yeah, that's fine,
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: is like eccentric.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: I want to hear it is centric.
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: Long, It's really Freddie. Why are you ashamed of it?
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: I'm not. I just don't like to share.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: I'm not good what that means. It means like white
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: snow or something white snow.
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: No, no, no.
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: My first name means God's gracious gifts. It also means
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: snowy white hills.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: However, yes, God gracious.
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: Guess why I think my daughter's name and it means
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: a gift from God.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: I love that.
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: Come look, I'm not going to expose her next her
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: maybe off camera, but okay, work you said what she's.
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: On a couple of my albums. That ain't really what.
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: I love that, but yeah that Our words from the
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: block is grind Hard. Obviously the name of your label
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: and your brand. So initially at the beginning of the episode,
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: we were going to say, tell us about what that
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: means to you and why you went with that.
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: It's from the block, Like you said, it's starting in
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: East Nashville, and it's been given more life and more
- 1:01:39Speaker 6: of a meaning as an acronym, given reality inspired new
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: direction towards having a real dream. But originally it was like,
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: you know, we were trying to come up, We was
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: trying to get off the block. It was, you know,
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: doing all kinds of things, just trying to make it
- 1:01:57Speaker 6: happen and kind of know about that into this music thing. Otherwise,
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: like even you mentioned Great Goose, them same guys that
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: was around me day one.
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: You know, I got ed Jean E. Bell Roy, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.
- 1:02:15Speaker 6: Like you know, I could go on, but like the
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: Great Goose song was like an inside joke and I
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: don't even think we'll name the company by then, but.
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: It's just.
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: Grindard was like a real thing, like we was kind
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: of the space was like we would sell anything if
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: if it meant profit or men making some money, and
- 1:02:35Speaker 6: so like the dream part of it was like we
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: can do that, then we can shift the energy into
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: this into this music thing and try to turn in
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: something else. It actually start on my guy Jean selling
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: some T shirts that said ground Hard and then we
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: put out a mix type and you know, from that
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: that first type, which was like I think the beginning
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: of two thousand and six, it just made sense to
- 1:02:58Speaker 6: brand it. And now you know, we're taking it nationwide
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: and beyond, I mean, I guess globally take global. Yeah,
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: but you know that's it's really it's funny. I say
- 1:03:11Speaker 6: words from luck because it started on block period.
- 1:03:15Speaker 5: I love the.
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: Growth, I love the expansion and the longevity in it.
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: You can't really hear you, Oh shot, Sorry, no, I
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: was saying I love it. I love the like longevity
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: in it and how it's grown into because you can
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: come up with something like years ago and you might
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: not identify with that anymore. You know, once you like
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: grown and matured a little bit, and it's very like
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: universal relatable at all, you know, times.
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: In your life for sure, like I mean, the biggest
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: joy or the biggest reward I can say from out
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: it is like seeing people embrace it as a motto,
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: as a mantra. I've I've probably met hundreds of people
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: with ground Hard in the flesh, you know, tattoos and others,
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: the actual logo or just you know, in whatever sense
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: and it's just for it to connect with them and
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: people they're probably not from the sandwalk with life that
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: we came from, and it's just like, damn, this shit
- 1:04:12Speaker 6: is bigger than bigger than I could have ever like
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: thought or dreamed or imagine. I mean, that's the kind
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: of thing that keep me going, keep me at it,
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: trying to figure out a way to pivot and do
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: more with it.
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: And I just love that, like as a mantra and
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: as like a motto, it's timeless and it can grow
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: with you. Like I've seen an interview one time where
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: you was like, the streets is more of a mentality
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: than like a physical place, and you kind of like
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: outgrew it a little bit and you have like a
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: business mentality and a dad mental like you know, and
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: obviously it's just like grind hard transcends just that street
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: like where it originated from.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: You could take that with you anywhere. That mentality.
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: Yeah, that's a lifestyle bring.
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: I mean, uh, the fitness journey, the all of that,
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: like at all the plus like whatever you're doing, like
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: go hard at it, like day to day, if you're
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: going to clocking in, if you're working for yourself, you're
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: working for.
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: Whoever, like, got no job. Grind hard, baby, grind hard, hard, harder.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: That's why I look, I'm so glad that you're on
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: this couch with us tonight.
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: For sure.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: We really appreciate you.
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: We do.

- 1:06:41Speaker 3: I was in sleep. That wasn't last time, the last time,
