- 0:00Speaker 1: Always this step ahead of the news. Here's more marks
- 0:03Speaker 1: alone on seven to tenoo Hey, it's almost Memorial Day weekend.
- 0:11Speaker 1: It's coming up this weekend. It's the beginning of summer
- 0:14Speaker 1: for most people. It's going to be this heat will
- 0:18Speaker 1: continue until about eight o'clock tomorrow night, but then it
- 0:22Speaker 1: goes into the sixties for the whole weekend. Looks like
- 0:24Speaker 1: rain Saturday and Sunday, but still be a great weekend.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Good things happening this week. Stephen Colbert will go off
- 0:31Speaker 1: the air Thursday night. That'll be it for him, the
- 0:35Speaker 1: show canceled, and he will in interviews or on the
- 0:41Speaker 1: show itself make it sound like he was pushed off
- 0:44Speaker 1: the air. It was pressure from the Trump administration. CBS
- 0:48Speaker 1: fired him, pressure from the Trumpet. Well, first of all,
- 0:52Speaker 1: it's a little kind of ridiculous to claim when you're
- 0:54Speaker 1: a disaster ratings wise, and you're losing forty to fifty
- 0:58Speaker 1: million a year, it doesn't take much pressure to get
- 1:02Speaker 1: a show canceled that's losing up to fifty million a year.
- 1:06Speaker 1: It's been a total failure revenue wise. Ratings wise, you
- 1:10Speaker 1: could say, oh, it beats Kimmel. That's only because Kimmel
- 1:13Speaker 1: has the most pathetic ratings in the world. Jimmy Fallon
- 1:16Speaker 1: took the Tonight Show down to like one million viewers.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Greg Goettfeld three million viewers easily. Jimmy Fayala Saturday Night
- 1:23Speaker 1: his late night sho I'm sure beats that he's going
- 1:27Speaker 1: to do some weird shows to end his run. Last
- 1:30Speaker 1: night was kind of a strange show. It looked like
- 1:33Speaker 1: the normal show. You know, the announcer starts, and then
- 1:39Speaker 1: for guests, they didn't really have any games, like one
- 1:41Speaker 1: guest who they were not were all the guests, and
- 1:44Speaker 1: then they introduce him and he comes out like usual,
- 1:48Speaker 1: and they show the audience. It's like, you know, three
- 1:50Speaker 1: hundred people in the audience and they're all standing, and
- 1:54Speaker 1: he had a little problem. They wouldn't stop applauding or
- 1:56Speaker 1: give him a standing ovation keeps you know, please sit
- 1:58Speaker 1: down and sit down, please sit down. It took a while.
- 2:02Speaker 1: They finally sit down these three hundred something people, and
- 2:05Speaker 1: then he announces it's not the regular audience. These are
- 2:08Speaker 1: all staff members on the show. These people all work
- 2:10Speaker 1: on the show. Now you know why he's getting fired.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Now you know how he lost fifty millionaire there's three
- 2:17Speaker 1: hundred people that work on this show. It was absolutely ridiculous.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Let's say they all brought a spouse, so that's one
- 2:24Speaker 1: hundred and fifty people. It was more than three hundred,
- 2:27Speaker 1: so it's one hundred and seventy five people working on
- 2:29Speaker 1: this show. That's how you lose fifty millionaire. If if
- 2:32Speaker 1: you're the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson way back when
- 2:35Speaker 1: and you got thirty million viewers, you could afford to
- 2:37Speaker 1: have one hundred and fifty people. If you're this guy
- 2:40Speaker 1: with one million viewers, you can't afford that. You're gonna
- 2:43Speaker 1: lose a fortune. Gottfeld has triple the ratings and the
- 2:48Speaker 1: whole staff is twelve people. That's it. There's no band,
- 2:52Speaker 1: it's twelve people. It's four cheers. That's the show called
- 2:56Speaker 1: bet massive theater, big or extra three hundred and fifty
- 3:01Speaker 1: people in the audience every night, which means you need
- 3:03Speaker 1: all the ushers and all that stuff. So all these
- 3:06Speaker 1: people work there. And then he announced he's not gonna
- 3:08Speaker 1: The reason they weren't a lot of guests. They weren't
- 3:10Speaker 1: going to do a regular show. They were going to
- 3:12Speaker 1: do not a best of they were going to do
- 3:13Speaker 1: a worst of they do these pre tape pieces and
- 3:16Speaker 1: things like that, and they decided they would show you
- 3:20Speaker 1: all the ones that never got on the air. Now,
- 3:23Speaker 1: the reason they never got on the air is they
- 3:24Speaker 1: weren't that funny. They stunk, And so it was a
- 3:27Speaker 1: whole hour and an hour show of bad things that
- 3:31Speaker 1: never got on the air. It's like when they re
- 3:34Speaker 1: released the album with the missing cuts. They weren't missing,
- 3:37Speaker 1: they just weren't that good. That's why the unreleased cut.
- 3:41Speaker 1: There was a reason they were unreleased. It wasn't that good.
- 3:45Speaker 1: So the final show is Thursday night. They're going to
- 3:49Speaker 1: do one final show. There'll be a big rap pardon
- 3:52Speaker 1: not like music rap, I mean like wrap it up
- 3:55Speaker 1: kind of party after the show. They've told all the
- 4:01Speaker 1: people have invited, They've sent out invitations to it, and
- 4:05Speaker 1: they're gonna keep announcing all kinds of big surprise guests
- 4:09Speaker 1: will be on the show Thursday night, major major Nate
- 4:12Speaker 1: surprise guests. Our sources have come up with some of them.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Paul McCartney will be one of them. Billy Joel will
- 4:21Speaker 1: be one of them. Now, Billy Joel's not been well lately.
- 4:26Speaker 1: He said a lot of problems. He'll be interesting to
- 4:27Speaker 1: see him in an interview. Apparently it is well enough
- 4:29Speaker 1: to do this. Paul McCartney. Both both these guys have
- 4:32Speaker 1: been on the Clbert plenty of times. They've been on
- 4:35Speaker 1: Everything plenty of times. They've been on They were on
- 4:40Speaker 1: the Kimmel a million that they were on Fallon a
- 4:43Speaker 1: million times. So Paul McCartney, the significance there is, of course,
- 4:50Speaker 1: the Beatles made their American debut right in that building,
- 4:52Speaker 1: right in the Ed Sullivan Theater. But if you go
- 4:55Speaker 1: on YouTube you can see it's Letterman. Letterman had Paul
- 4:59Speaker 1: McCartney back and they talked really in depth about the
- 5:03Speaker 1: Ed Sullivan Theater, and then McCartney and Letterman went on
- 5:05Speaker 1: a tour behind the scenes, backstage, the dressing rooms downstairs,
- 5:09Speaker 1: to take a look at all the things in the
- 5:11Speaker 1: Ed Sullivan Theater that McCartney remembered the first time around.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I used to do shows in the Ed Sullivent Theater
- 5:17Speaker 1: before it became the Letterman Theater. It was just an
- 5:20Speaker 1: independent TV studio. You could rent it for all kinds
- 5:22Speaker 1: of things, so there are a number of TV shows
- 5:24Speaker 1: done there and going around. This was before Letterman totally
- 5:28Speaker 1: gutted it, renovated it that CBS spent millions before that.
- 5:33Speaker 1: It was like the original Ed Sullivan Theater and a
- 5:35Speaker 1: lot of the guys working there had been there for
- 5:37Speaker 1: a million years and would tell you about the Ed
- 5:40Speaker 1: Sullivan days, you know, so glamorous that show. They would
- 5:43Speaker 1: tell you how there were rats backstage and now pipes
- 5:46Speaker 1: were like crumbling everywhere. It was apparently a mess back then.
- 5:50Speaker 1: But it's significant to Paul McCartney and for Billy Joel
- 5:54Speaker 1: he's like the huge Beatles fan, so it'll be significant
- 5:58Speaker 1: to him. So that'll be the goodbyeesday night, and then
- 6:01Speaker 1: hopefully you'll never have to see this guy again. Now
- 6:04Speaker 1: here's the interesting part. Not only is the show a
- 6:06Speaker 1: total failure, Colbert, not only does it lose fifty million
- 6:11Speaker 1: a year. The cancelation was announced like eight months ago.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Still nobody has offered him another show. Nobody, no streaming company,
- 6:23Speaker 1: no network, nobody has offered him another show. It's been
- 6:27Speaker 1: eight months now, silence. His only job he is going
- 6:33Speaker 1: to write is it The Hobbit the movie. He's writing
- 6:37Speaker 1: the screenplay for that. But apparently he had a good
- 6:39Speaker 1: idea for it, and that was a project he pitched
- 6:42Speaker 1: like a year ago, so that was already in the works.
- 6:44Speaker 1: But outside it from that, nobody has offered him a job.
- 6:48Speaker 1: What will he do? Well, he'll work on this screenplay
- 6:50Speaker 1: when he gets done, and then when it's finished and
- 6:54Speaker 1: the movie's coming out, although that could take a while.
- 6:56Speaker 1: But once that's he'll run around doing a million interviews MSNBC, CNN,
- 7:02Speaker 1: all that sort of stuff. Outside of that, I don't
- 7:05Speaker 1: know what else he'll do. He'll probably he could do
- 7:07Speaker 1: his own Instagram, YouTube channel release stuff all the time,
- 7:12Speaker 1: but he'll be on his own pretty much. You know,
- 7:15Speaker 1: this show, he's got like fourteen writers writing all that
- 7:17Speaker 1: stuff for him on his own. I don't think he's
- 7:21Speaker 1: I don't think there's anything there.
- 7:22Speaker 2: You know.
- 7:22Speaker 1: It's not like the other hosts, where, you know, Carson
- 7:26Speaker 1: writers would write a mad libs and write the jokes,
- 7:29Speaker 1: but he could add lib like crazy. I've never seen
- 7:31Speaker 1: an actual Stephen Colbert ad lib that was actually funny.
- 7:35Speaker 1: So I don't know what he's going to do after that.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Going to be tough for him. Hey, the border, the
- 7:40Speaker 1: US border border crossings are so low right now, they
- 7:45Speaker 1: keep track of all this fewer illegals are crossing the
- 7:47Speaker 1: border in one month now than in one hour during
- 7:55Speaker 1: the Biden administration. It's hard to believe, but it's been
- 7:59Speaker 1: twelve months and the catch and release, you know, they
- 8:03Speaker 1: can come across the border in the catch and release them.
- 8:05Speaker 1: It's been zero for twelve months, no catching release for
- 8:08Speaker 1: twelve months. That's pretty amazing. The lowest level of crossing
- 8:13Speaker 1: since the nineties. Catching release is over. You know, back
- 8:17Speaker 1: in the Biden days, the catch and release was sometimes
- 8:22Speaker 1: three hundred people an hour, three hundred an hour, that's unbelievable.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Three hundred every hour. It ended up being like a
- 8:30Speaker 1: million and a half a year. It's down to zero.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Pretty amazing for the Trump administration. Hey, the big announcement
- 8:38Speaker 1: that happened over the weekend and we talked about it yesterday.
- 8:41Speaker 1: The climate change hoax is pretty much over. It was
- 8:45Speaker 1: all orchestrated, and I mean Democrats and a lot of
- 8:48Speaker 1: crazy left wingers all jumped on it. But the body
- 8:51Speaker 1: that ruled on climate change was the United Nations International
- 8:56Speaker 1: Panel on Climate Change. That was the official body that
- 8:59Speaker 1: ran this whole hoax. And this is where you got
- 9:02Speaker 1: all the scenarios about the world's going to overheat and
- 9:04Speaker 1: burn up, and the ocean's going to rise up, and
- 9:08Speaker 1: the glacier is going to be gone, and all that stuff. Well,
- 9:11Speaker 1: quietly over the weekend they announced that those predictions are incorrect.
- 9:16Speaker 1: They said, they now, for this century, say that all
- 9:19Speaker 1: those predictions are implausible, which means impossible. They were depending
- 9:25Speaker 1: on scientists, questionable scientists, left wing scientists who depended on
- 9:30Speaker 1: grants and where I'm sure there were other reasons, but
- 9:35Speaker 1: they were ginning all this up to get more grants.
- 9:38Speaker 1: But the official body that rules this whole climate change
- 9:41Speaker 1: hoax actually says all these theories, all these predictions, all
- 9:46Speaker 1: the stuff is no longer valid. It is now they
- 9:49Speaker 1: use the word implausible, which means impossible. But people are
- 9:54Speaker 1: starting to look back on this. President Trump called it
- 9:56Speaker 1: the biggest con job in history. People are starting to
- 9:59Speaker 1: study this whole thing now. Apparently it cost trillions of
- 10:02Speaker 1: dollars in damage to countries all over. The economic damage
- 10:07Speaker 1: is incalculable. Hundreds and hundreds of billions, actually trillions were
- 10:12Speaker 1: wasted worldwide on fake green scheme programs, on forcing businesses
- 10:19Speaker 1: to adopt all kinds of regulations. It drove the price
- 10:22Speaker 1: of everything up you know one recent gas cars, everything
- 10:26Speaker 1: went up, all the regulations put on them because of
- 10:29Speaker 1: climate change. It destroyed the New York economy. It caused
- 10:34Speaker 1: crazy left wing governor Andrew Cuomo to ban fracking. You know,
- 10:39Speaker 1: we're sitting on a ton of natural gas. Our energy
- 10:42Speaker 1: costs would have been one tenth of what they are
- 10:44Speaker 1: now if he had not banned fracking. He shut down
- 10:47Speaker 1: Indian Point. That tripled everybody's electric bill right there. In fact,
- 10:53Speaker 1: all the getting rid of all the fossil fuel, and
- 10:56Speaker 1: then it also hurt the environment. Believe it or not,
- 10:59Speaker 1: this whole green movement hurt the environment as we shifted
- 11:03Speaker 1: to wind, solar and all that crap. The wind farms
- 11:06Speaker 1: did more environmental damage than anything. I mean, they were
- 11:10Speaker 1: just awful on the environment. And whenever that's one reason,
- 11:14Speaker 1: you know, when they wanted to do it in the
- 11:16Speaker 1: Cape or anywhere near left wingers or Kennedy's, they would
- 11:21Speaker 1: ban the windmills because you don't just stick the windmill
- 11:24Speaker 1: in the ground. You have to go like a half
- 11:27Speaker 1: mile out in every direction and just tear up the
- 11:29Speaker 1: ground and fill it with concrete, and you know it's forever.
- 11:33Speaker 1: You can never get rid of that you destroy your coastline.
- 11:36Speaker 1: The blades on a windmill are so big, the blades
- 11:40Speaker 1: are the size of the Washington Monument and they're fiberglass.
- 11:44Speaker 1: They are a nightmare to dispose of. You got to
- 11:47Speaker 1: change them every year. So disposing of the old blades
- 11:50Speaker 1: was far worse than trying to get rid of a
- 11:52Speaker 1: nuclear waste. So it was terrible for the environment. It
- 11:56Speaker 1: produced absolutely no power that was I mean any fraction
- 12:00Speaker 1: of what we needed. You remember in Europe they went
- 12:04Speaker 1: solar power, wind power, and then about two years later
- 12:07Speaker 1: had to tear it all down. It just wouldn't work.
- 12:09Speaker 1: There was never enough win. So hey the Knicks tonight, big, big, big,
- 12:15Speaker 1: big game tonight. Now James Dolan Madison Square Garden has announced.
- 12:19Speaker 1: You know there's always talk would you sell the Knicks,
- 12:21Speaker 1: would you sell the Rangers. Well, he's announced both the
- 12:25Speaker 1: Knicks and the Rangers will split up. Each of them
- 12:27Speaker 1: will become separate public companies, which means it'll be a
- 12:31Speaker 1: stock you can buy. So that's kind of like selling him.
- 12:34Speaker 1: It's actually a smarter way for him because what he's
- 12:37Speaker 1: gonna do make it a public company you can buy stock.
- 12:41Speaker 1: They'll each be a separate public company. But the Forbes
- 12:44Speaker 1: thinks the Knicks will be worth about ten billion, ten billion,
- 12:49Speaker 1: even the Rangers four billion. This that's fourteen billion they'll
- 12:53Speaker 1: take in right there. It's a way to kind of
- 12:57Speaker 1: very safely get rid of the Knicks and the Rangers
- 13:00Speaker 1: and sell them pretty good deal. Madison Square Garden stock
- 13:04Speaker 1: itself soared as a result. Hey, mayor's crazy mayor, Mom
- 13:10Speaker 1: Donnie anti Semitic. Mayor, Mom Donnie anti Israel. I mean,
- 13:15Speaker 1: you talk about racism and bigotry. This is it to
- 13:18Speaker 1: be that anti Semitic, to be against a group. This
- 13:21Speaker 1: kind of discrimination we've never seen from a public official.
- 13:25Speaker 1: But he's not going to go to the Israel Israel
- 13:28Speaker 1: Day parade, which is awful. But he also commemorated a
- 13:33Speaker 1: Knakba Day, which a lot of us have never heard of,
- 13:37Speaker 1: Knackbud Day. The real anti Semits of the world, the
- 13:41Speaker 1: real anti Semitic, anti Israel people celebrate this Nakba Day.
- 13:46Speaker 1: What it is, It's the day in nineteen forty eight
- 13:49Speaker 1: where Israel was created. But Knakba Day is an anti
- 13:55Speaker 1: Israel day. It's supposedly commemorate. How awful what happened to
- 14:01Speaker 1: the Palestinians were, how disgusting it was they were displaced
- 14:05Speaker 1: from their land, How evil Israel was when it was created.
- 14:08Speaker 1: The creation of Israel was evil, awful. This is what
- 14:11Speaker 1: knak Badet is all about. It's a horrible thing. But
- 14:14Speaker 1: for Mayor mon Donni to actually put out a video
- 14:16Speaker 1: commemorating this awful thing, it is about as anti Semitic
- 14:20Speaker 1: as you can get. Now, these Knakbadet people just take
- 14:24Speaker 1: everything out of a context and make it sound like
- 14:26Speaker 1: nineteen forty eight was the most awful, evil thing ever
- 14:29Speaker 1: done throwing the Palestinian They just totally ignore the real
- 14:32Speaker 1: facts it was. Israel was created by the United Nations.
- 14:37Speaker 1: It was a partition plan. All the countries participated in it.
- 14:42Speaker 1: The Arab rejection of it was the reason many Palestinians left.
- 14:46Speaker 1: They weren't thrown out of anywhere. But this is the dirty,
- 14:49Speaker 1: dirty racism of mam Donni and a lot of Democrats unfortunately.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Now I just want to mention this again. Tuesday night,
- 14:57Speaker 1: a lot of people are going to this big rally
- 15:00Speaker 1: Tuesday night outside of Gracie Mansion. It's to fight the
- 15:05Speaker 1: anti Semitism. Seven pm Tuesday night, May twenty sixth being
- 15:10Speaker 1: organized by a lot of people. Jewish heritage groups will
- 15:14Speaker 1: be there, a lot of speakers, a lot of politicians,
- 15:17Speaker 1: political officials will be there. Tuesday night, seven o'clock, Gracie Mansion.
- 15:22Speaker 1: They have an Instagram It's called Stop ju Hatred. Stop
- 15:26Speaker 1: j Hatred on Instagram. You get all the all the
- 15:29Speaker 1: latest there. But Tuesday night, seven o'clock. I know a
- 15:31Speaker 1: lot of people are going to this, so hey, we'll
- 15:33Speaker 1: take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three to two one
- 15:37Speaker 1: zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two
- 15:40Speaker 1: one zero seven ten. Set upset on the iHeartRadio app
- 15:45Speaker 1: to dou wor to hear Mark live.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Set another for Mark's podcast to hear him anytime now back.
- 15:52Speaker 1: To Mark zimone on douboor let's take some calls. Eight
- 15:57Speaker 1: hundred three to two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Let's go to Lenny and the Bronx. Lenny, how you doing, Mark?
- 16:05Speaker 4: How are you good?
- 16:05Speaker 1: To hear you voice? I love your show?
- 16:07Speaker 3: Listen.
- 16:07Speaker 5: Just just a quick question, quick question, why does everyone,
- 16:11Speaker 5: including you, refer to Greg Gutfeldt show is late night
- 16:15Speaker 5: when ten o'clock has always been the final hour of
- 16:18Speaker 5: primetime television.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Well you're getting technically because it's done like a late
- 16:23Speaker 1: night show. You could run it at eleven thirty. It's
- 16:25Speaker 1: just as easy.
- 16:26Speaker 5: But yeah, I mean, but the facond matters with him
- 16:30Speaker 5: on a ten, He's not Jimmy Stallens or Canils. He's
- 16:33Speaker 5: not their competition. He's like CSI's competition.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Whoever is on a ten of car Yeah, but I
- 16:38Speaker 1: hate to break it to you, all that doesn't exist anymore.
- 16:40Speaker 1: There really is no primetime anymore. Most people are dvring
- 16:43Speaker 1: or stream.
- 16:44Speaker 5: But what in the hour?
- 16:45Speaker 1: Right, Calm down, contown. You're technically right, it's on in primetime,
- 16:49Speaker 1: But none of that matters anymore. None of that mattered.
- 16:52Speaker 1: It doesn't even matter what time you're on anymore. Let's
- 16:54Speaker 1: go to Stuart in South Carolina. Stuart, how you doing, Hey, Mark?
- 16:59Speaker 6: Are you talking about that OJ trial? You know, I've
- 17:01Speaker 6: been in hundreds and hundreds of trials. I've been in
- 17:04Speaker 6: two death penalty trials. Wise, I helped put two on
- 17:07Speaker 6: death row since been executed. One is waiting. When I
- 17:11Speaker 6: watched that O J trial, and I've been an officer
- 17:13Speaker 6: probably fifteen years at that time, when they did that glove,
- 17:17Speaker 6: I knew the trial was over.
- 17:19Speaker 3: It was a leather glove.
- 17:20Speaker 6: It had been wet, of course at shrunk. I cannot
- 17:23Speaker 6: believe they were so stupid in the middle of a trial.
- 17:27Speaker 6: You never ask a question or do anything you don't
- 17:29Speaker 6: know the answer to in a trial. Ever, it was
- 17:33Speaker 6: like they wanted to blow that trial. That was the
- 17:36Speaker 6: dumbest thing I have ever seen in my life and
- 17:38Speaker 6: ever seen since. I just can't believe Marshall Clark did that.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Well, but that happens a lot where you got, you know,
- 17:44Speaker 1: multi million dollar lawyers up against you know, sixty thousand
- 17:48Speaker 1: dollars a year of prosecutors back there. Yeah, it happened
- 17:50Speaker 1: in the William Kennedy Smith trial. You had these little
- 17:53Speaker 1: local law I remember, little local prosecutors up against the
- 17:57Speaker 1: most powerful lawyers in the world.
- 18:00Speaker 6: Yeah, but that was probably one of the most boneheaded
- 18:03Speaker 6: things I've ever seen in my almost fifty years as
- 18:05Speaker 6: a loss. I just could not believe it. I knew
- 18:07Speaker 6: the trial was over then, So just my two cents
- 18:10Speaker 6: about that.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Right, good point. Let's go to h fran in massive
- 18:15Speaker 1: Pequa fran How you doing, what's up?
- 18:17Speaker 3: Buddy?
- 18:18Speaker 4: Thanks? Mark Roy, you do you're a beakon of truth
- 18:21Speaker 4: my friend.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Oh thanks, Let's go to Jack in Wisconsin. Jack. How
- 18:27Speaker 1: you doing good? Mark?
- 18:29Speaker 4: Hey, I got a question for you. I've been a
- 18:31Speaker 4: big Trump supporters since the beginning, but the stuff that's
- 18:35Speaker 4: going on and Iran right now. You know, they keep
- 18:38Speaker 4: talking about how we're going to negotiate with them and stuff.
- 18:40Speaker 4: You know, I mean, them being a deaf culture like
- 18:42Speaker 4: the eye, they understand killing people. I mean, they kill
- 18:44Speaker 4: their own people. Don't you don't you agree that trying
- 18:49Speaker 4: to negotiate with them, to them makes us look weak
- 18:52Speaker 4: when they understand that.
- 18:54Speaker 1: No, that makes it look fair. I mean, we could
- 18:56Speaker 1: end up just you know, militarily just wiping them out.
- 18:58Speaker 1: But this week, I think you can say you gave
- 19:02Speaker 1: you gave them a chance. You gave him a chance
- 19:03Speaker 1: to negotiat You got to give them a chance to
- 19:06Speaker 1: negotiate the way out. There's no hurt.
- 19:08Speaker 4: They never hold they never hold up there into the bargain.
- 19:10Speaker 4: I mean, they're absolutely You're.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Not wrong, but you got to you gotta do it
- 19:14Speaker 1: this way. This way, you were being fair about it.
- 19:17Speaker 1: And the longer we keep the straight, the longer we
- 19:19Speaker 1: keep the straight clothes, the longer we keep this going,
- 19:21Speaker 1: the more it just drains their economy. They've got no
- 19:24Speaker 1: revenue coming in their currency.
- 19:26Speaker 4: Is anybody know if they have like military basis for
- 19:28Speaker 4: the I R C or I ERG.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Well, we've taken out all those military bases. They've got
- 19:33Speaker 1: the missiles and rockets and stuff that they got buried underground.
- 19:36Speaker 1: They got some nuclear I.
- 19:39Speaker 4: Just I guess my thought is that they're willing to
- 19:42Speaker 4: kill their own people for protesting there. They understand death
- 19:46Speaker 4: and to them words mean nothing.
- 19:48Speaker 1: No I understand, But for optics reasons, you got to
- 19:50Speaker 1: make it look like you gave them every chance to
- 19:52Speaker 1: negotiate the way out and then you then you gonna
- 19:54Speaker 1: end up wiping them out. But you got to give
- 19:55Speaker 1: them every chance first. Don't just be patient. Call call
- 19:59Speaker 1: back in there two months. I think you'll be very happy.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Good morning, Marc, Good morning matter Marcus. You and I
- 20:09Speaker 2: spoke about many times, for safety, for accountability, and for
- 20:15Speaker 2: insurance purposes, and for revenue. The City of Rome and
- 20:20Speaker 2: Rome Province. Now, even for those electric razors scooters, you
- 20:26Speaker 2: have to have it's a combination of registration plate and
- 20:32Speaker 2: when you go on you have to go online. We'll
- 20:35Speaker 2: go to their DMV and acquire one. You have to
- 20:40Speaker 2: put down the serial number of these Razors scooters. And
- 20:45Speaker 2: also because you don't need a license proper to drive
- 20:49Speaker 2: one of them like you do a motorcycle, you have
- 20:52Speaker 2: to put on on the application form. Who are going
- 20:56Speaker 2: to be the principal drivers of this I won't be
- 21:01Speaker 2: caught dead.
- 21:02Speaker 1: On one of them, but anyway on a scooter.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Exactly so that an accident don't.
- 21:09Speaker 1: See you delivering door.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Dash no no no way, no way, Bob, but anyway.
- 21:16Speaker 2: And they're charging thirty eight euros, which is about forty
- 21:21Speaker 2: five dollars in our currency. But they're doing it for accountability,
- 21:27Speaker 2: to raise revenue and to know who these people are
- 21:31Speaker 2: in case of accidents. Visit you're absolutely right accountable.
- 21:36Speaker 1: They always yelling about revenues. Start the licensing, you collect
- 21:39Speaker 1: the fee, a renewal fee, everything from every bike, scooter,
- 21:43Speaker 1: electric everything, you make a fortune and revenue. Also start
- 21:46Speaker 1: giving them traffic tickets because they're going, yeah, well.
- 21:48Speaker 2: That's one of the other reasons why they do it.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Because in Italy, once your past sixteen you have to
- 21:55Speaker 2: have ID have them forbid right, and you have to
- 22:00Speaker 2: put in your ID number in the computer and you
- 22:03Speaker 2: have to day. Your picture'll come up immediately.
- 22:06Speaker 1: Be yeah, no, yeah, absolutely good point, Vincent, excellent point,
- 22:11Speaker 1: thanks for Colin. Yeah. Start ticketing all those scooters bikes.
- 22:15Speaker 1: They're always going through red lights, they're always up on
- 22:17Speaker 1: the sidewalk, they're always going the wrong way down the street.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Start ticketing them. You'll get a fortune in revenue, and
- 22:23Speaker 1: he'll make things safer. It's a perfect thing to do.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Let's see if democrats like Hope will actually ever do that. Hey,
- 22:30Speaker 1: when we come back, Bill O'Reilly will be with us.
- 22:33Speaker 1: We got a lot to talk to him about. Coming
- 22:34Speaker 1: up next on seven to ten WR. There's more and
- 22:38Speaker 1: Mark Simone on seven to ten WR. Well, Bill O'Reilly
- 22:43Speaker 1: the number one anchor for decades, the number one best
- 22:46Speaker 1: selling nonfiction author on Earth. And you can get all
- 22:50Speaker 1: of his books. Also, you go to Bill O'Reilly dot com.
- 22:52Speaker 1: You get everything there. You can get the TV show,
- 22:54Speaker 1: you can get his new podcast, We'll Do It Live.
- 22:57Speaker 1: It's great, great guests, you should watch all of them.
- 23:01Speaker 1: You can watch his YouTube channel Bill O'Reilly at YouTube.
- 23:03Speaker 1: A lot of great content there. Bill O'Reilly, how you doing.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Hanging top getting ready to go over to Ireland and
- 23:12Speaker 3: London and you're going to.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Be part of the revolution over there. It looks like
- 23:18Speaker 1: they've had it with these left wing government types in London.
- 23:22Speaker 5: Like.
- 23:23Speaker 3: Almost a civil war over there. So we're doing a
- 23:28Speaker 3: special for News Nation about how this could happen in
- 23:32Speaker 3: the vast changes. I lived in London for a year
- 23:36Speaker 3: when I was in college, and it's just not even
- 23:40Speaker 3: close to being the same city, almost like New York.
- 23:43Speaker 3: I mean, New York isn't there yet, but we're heading
- 23:46Speaker 3: down that road.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Yeah. So you see you see the tide turning in
- 23:51Speaker 1: London and England. You see it maybe in la where
- 23:54Speaker 1: Republicans are suddenly doing pretty well. You think this is
- 23:57Speaker 1: the beginning of the end for the left wing kooks.
- 24:02Speaker 3: It's an interesting question because you would think that the
- 24:07Speaker 3: Democratic Party would have some momentum because of the high
- 24:12Speaker 3: prices that consumers are paying, But they don't because they're
- 24:16Speaker 3: so radical left, so progressive that middle of the road
- 24:20Speaker 3: Americans of all parties are fearful of them, So that
- 24:25Speaker 3: kind of negates any kind of political advantage they would
- 24:28Speaker 3: have on policy or on that kind of thing, because
- 24:31Speaker 3: these are fairly dangerous people. I mean the guy in Maine,
- 24:36Speaker 3: Oh my god, this guy is she looking at him?
- 24:41Speaker 3: And Donnie in New York and on and on and on,
- 24:46Speaker 3: and people go, I don't think so so that it
- 24:52Speaker 3: changes everything, that's for sure.
- 24:54Speaker 1: So that La Mayor Karen Bass, some of the things
- 24:58Speaker 1: she's pushing for are so crazy left wing.
- 25:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, she wants to give all the drug
- 25:04Speaker 3: addicts teeth. I know I'm a mean guy, but I
- 25:11Speaker 3: don't really want to pay for their teeth. I just
- 25:15Speaker 3: don't want to. Look. If you're a drug addict and
- 25:19Speaker 3: you spend all your time trying to get high, you
- 25:22Speaker 3: don't contribute to society. You all the time do very
- 25:27Speaker 3: bad things to get money. And now I'm supposed to
- 25:31Speaker 3: pay for your housing. I'm supposed to give you cash
- 25:34Speaker 3: as they do in San Francisco. Now I'm supposed to
- 25:37Speaker 3: pay for your dental work. And already I'm paying for
- 25:43Speaker 3: their medical situations. And what's their responsibility as an American citizen,
- 25:50Speaker 3: as a human being, what do they give back? Nothing?
- 25:54Speaker 3: I mean, it's just way out of whack here, but
- 25:58Speaker 3: it's taking room.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Hey, Bill O'Reilly does a great podcast. We'll do it live.
- 26:05Speaker 1: The latest episode. You should watch them all, but the
- 26:07Speaker 1: latest episode, the guest is Andrew Cuomo. But here's the
- 26:10Speaker 1: complaint about Cuomo. He says in there, he says, well,
- 26:13Speaker 1: you know, I'm a moderate Democrat. He was the most
- 26:15Speaker 1: left wing governor we've ever had with his no bail,
- 26:18Speaker 1: no jail and close the prisons, let the prisoners. I mean,
- 26:22Speaker 1: it's an endless list of stuff that was so far
- 26:24Speaker 1: to the left. Why does he keep saying he's a
- 26:26Speaker 1: moderate Democrat.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Well, it was the last two years that he really
- 26:31Speaker 3: took the turn because he wanted to continue in the job,
- 26:35Speaker 3: and he knew that the progressors were the money people,
- 26:39Speaker 3: and he kind of said, all right, I'll be a
- 26:42Speaker 3: progressive now. Before that, he wasn't so bad as far
- 26:47Speaker 3: as his policies were concerned. Got into big trouble with COVID.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Everybody knows. You can make some excuses to that, but
- 26:57Speaker 3: you're right about the bail and he said, well, it's
- 27:00Speaker 3: a poor thing that there were people sitting in rikers
- 27:03Speaker 3: for two years because they couldn't make bail, and then
- 27:06Speaker 3: they get on trial or acquitted, So that system is
- 27:10Speaker 3: not fair. But the problem that you have when you're
- 27:14Speaker 3: going to do that, is you're going to put dangerous
- 27:18Speaker 3: people back on the street because a judge has a sheet,
- 27:22Speaker 3: they know what this person has done in the past.
- 27:25Speaker 3: And if you have a conviction or a violent tendency,
- 27:31Speaker 3: certainly and you're let out a jail to punching somebody
- 27:34Speaker 3: in a face or push them on a railroad track,
- 27:37Speaker 3: I mean they're going to do it again. So you know,
- 27:40Speaker 3: those progressive policies never work. He went into that world
- 27:43Speaker 3: for a couple of years and it ruined him because
- 27:46Speaker 3: the progressives turned on him. He wasn't progressive enough for them,
- 27:53Speaker 3: and so they went after him and they got him.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Yeah, it's pretty stupid though, if you know, if this
- 27:58Speaker 1: is what you are to just switch your politics just
- 28:00Speaker 1: whatever way the wind is blowing.
- 28:03Speaker 3: It's not rare, not rare.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Well, it's a great interview. You watch it. Bill O'Reilly's
- 28:10Speaker 1: podcast We'll do it live and you got a new
- 28:12Speaker 1: one coming out this week.
- 28:14Speaker 3: Yeah, it's There are four Baldwin brothers, yeah, Alec bow
- 28:19Speaker 3: and Billy Bowen, Daniel Baldwin and Steven Bowen and they're
- 28:24Speaker 3: all on Island raised and two of them are conservative
- 28:29Speaker 3: and two of them are very liberal and it's fractured
- 28:32Speaker 3: the whole family. And so we're interviewing Steven Bowin about
- 28:41Speaker 3: the and it's not just him and his family, but
- 28:44Speaker 3: stopping all over the country where families are dissolving because
- 28:49Speaker 3: politics and friendships and all kinds of stuff is going
- 28:55Speaker 3: by the wayside. And so that should be a pretty
- 28:59Speaker 3: interesting interview, particularly framed around the ball and boys.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll check that out. Bill o'relly's podcast will do
- 29:06Speaker 1: it live. Hey, you've been to China at the president's trip.
- 29:10Speaker 1: How would you rate it now? Looking back on it?
- 29:13Speaker 3: I think it's a successful trip. I don't know what
- 29:15Speaker 3: people want. I mean, their expectations are what. The Chinese
- 29:20Speaker 3: are tough boys and they're going to do what they
- 29:26Speaker 3: want to do, and Donald Trump's not gonna stop them.
- 29:31Speaker 3: But if you can get some kind of common ground
- 29:34Speaker 3: where there's an economic benefit to both countries being friendlier
- 29:42Speaker 3: to each other, then you take it. And you know,
- 29:46Speaker 3: but I don't people don't understand China. They don't understand
- 29:50Speaker 3: the mentality the Chinese. I try my best to explain it,
- 29:56Speaker 3: but people, oh, why didn't you do this?
- 29:58Speaker 2: Why didn't do that?
- 29:59Speaker 3: You know, you just don't do that if you want
- 30:02Speaker 3: to have a good relationship or a decent relationship with
- 30:06Speaker 3: the second most powerful nation on Earth, which of course
- 30:10Speaker 3: the United States should want.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Yeah, so the President said, when you meet with these
- 30:15Speaker 1: Chinese officials, they're dead serious. There's no pleasantries, no small talk,
- 30:19Speaker 1: it's all formality. You met with the Chinese officials. Is
- 30:21Speaker 1: that the way it is?
- 30:23Speaker 5: Oh?
- 30:23Speaker 3: Yeah, nobody's telling jokes. There's not a lot of mirth
- 30:29Speaker 3: at the Thing that bothers me about the Chinese is
- 30:35Speaker 3: there are two things. Number One, you'll never know what
- 30:37Speaker 3: they're thinking. They'll never tell you. It's not like Americans
- 30:40Speaker 3: that we just spout off and people know, you know
- 30:44Speaker 3: what our point of view is. It's not like that
- 30:47Speaker 3: over there. Nobody does that. So you don't know what
- 30:50Speaker 3: they're thinking. And then they make vague promises like yeah,
- 30:54Speaker 3: we'll help you out in with the Iranian conflict. They're
- 30:59Speaker 3: not going to help us out. They're not And I
- 31:05Speaker 3: know what, Trump knows it, everybody knows it, who's in
- 31:09Speaker 3: that game. But you know the Chinese will go, yeah,
- 31:13Speaker 3: well help Yeah. Now, to me, the way to deal
- 31:17Speaker 3: with that is to say, look, we want to deintensify
- 31:21Speaker 3: this Taiwan thing. We want to talk about it, but
- 31:24Speaker 3: we're not going to do anything unless you help us
- 31:26Speaker 3: with Iran. Then we get into quit bo quo. Then
- 31:30Speaker 3: something might happen. But just asking the Chinese for a favor, No,
- 31:37Speaker 3: that's not the kind of society it is.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Yeah, So they're very formal and they look very smart.
- 31:43Speaker 1: But this idea that they're so brilliant that the one
- 31:45Speaker 1: hundred years strategy are they? Are they that much smarter
- 31:48Speaker 1: than us?
- 31:49Speaker 3: They're good at stealing stuff, they steal technology from everybody.
- 31:56Speaker 3: Are they that smart? I mean, heart of general lies.
- 32:02Speaker 3: If you look at the test scores of Chinese Americans,
- 32:05Speaker 3: totally different game. They're the highest test scores among the
- 32:09Speaker 3: students of any ethnic group in this country because they
- 32:13Speaker 3: work hard and they're, you know, focus on a goal
- 32:17Speaker 3: of success. But are they any smarter than the Irish? Well,
- 32:24Speaker 3: maybe I shouldn't ask that question, but I can't gy
- 32:29Speaker 3: realize about entire races of people.
- 32:34Speaker 1: Hey, what should the president do Iran? He's given them
- 32:37Speaker 1: a couple more days to negotiate.
- 32:39Speaker 3: What do you think I think the Iranians are exhausted
- 32:43Speaker 3: with all of the postponements that they that they've received,
- 32:50Speaker 3: So it's coming to a head. I wouldn't be surprised
- 32:53Speaker 3: if this week you see some pretty intense military action.
- 33:00Speaker 3: He doesn't want to kill civilians. The President does not
- 33:03Speaker 3: want to kill civilians. That's what's holding it back because
- 33:07Speaker 3: tens of thousands of people will die in those bombings
- 33:11Speaker 3: and he doesn't want to do that. Trump so he's
- 33:15Speaker 3: given the mothers every opportunity. Well, at the same time
- 33:20Speaker 3: reinforcing what the United States needs. And I hate to
- 33:26Speaker 3: say it, but they we might have to go back
- 33:29Speaker 3: in and then blow the hell out of their infrastructure.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Now it'll be interesting. Now, Bill O'Reilly, you're live for
- 33:36Speaker 1: Ireland tomorrow.
- 33:39Speaker 3: No over the weekend.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Oh okay, and you'll be reporting from there on News Nation.
- 33:43Speaker 1: We can watch it there.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Yeah. I'm gonna just every two years, a bunch of
- 33:49Speaker 3: friends of mine go to a different destination. So there's
- 33:53Speaker 3: twenty five guys going on this Ireland trip. Everybody wants
- 33:56Speaker 3: to go to Ireland because it's just a beautiful place.
- 34:00Speaker 3: We went to Malta two years ago that was interesting
- 34:04Speaker 3: and then after the festivities and we're going to the
- 34:09Speaker 3: southern part of Ireland. You know Ring and carry didn't
- 34:12Speaker 3: go all beautiful. Then I'm going over to London to
- 34:16Speaker 3: do this civil war documentary. You know, Britain is in
- 34:21Speaker 3: the middle of a civil war here, primarily because of migration.
- 34:25Speaker 3: Now we don't have that problem because we don't have
- 34:27Speaker 3: that many Muslims, but they do. So I'm going to
- 34:31Speaker 3: report there and to be on News Nation. I don't
- 34:33Speaker 3: know when. I have a special come up on the
- 34:38Speaker 3: fourth of July about heroes and villains and the Revolutionary War,
- 34:42Speaker 3: so that'll be the next thing, the special we do,
- 34:45Speaker 3: and then I assume they'll run the London thing in
- 34:49Speaker 3: August or September.
- 34:50Speaker 1: All right, sounds good. Everybody watched Bill O'Reilly's YouTube channels.
- 34:53Speaker 1: A lot of good stuff there, and check out his
- 34:55Speaker 1: new podcast, Will Do It Live. A lot of great episodes.
- 34:59Speaker 1: You're gonna love them all. And then you just go
- 35:01Speaker 1: to Bill O'Reilly dot com. Everything is there link to
- 35:03Speaker 1: everything at Bill O'Reilly dot com. You can get the column,
- 35:06Speaker 1: the Message of the day, the TV show, Bill O'Reilly

- 36:05Speaker 1: is over. Train service is now back. It's almost noon.
- 36:09Speaker 1: It was supposed to be back to full service by
- 36:11Speaker 1: noon today. So it should be on track Long Island
- 36:15Speaker 1: Railroad back. Everything should be back, should be a normal
- 36:19Speaker 1: commute rush hour going home this afternoon. So this woman
- 36:23Speaker 1: is walking along Fifth Avenue, fifty second Street's right by
- 36:26Speaker 1: Cardier picture of that corner Cardia Fifth Avenue fifty second's
- 36:30Speaker 1: walking along falls into an open manhole cover fifty six
- 36:36Speaker 1: year old woman falls into the open manhole cover, seriously injured,
- 36:41Speaker 1: taking a New York Presbyterian where she dies. She got
- 36:45Speaker 1: out of her resuv and walked into this open manhole cover,
- 36:49Speaker 1: plunged to her death, was killed. Con Edison still investigating
- 36:54Speaker 1: why the hole was not covered up. Hard to believe.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Time was it? Yeah, it was light out, very very strange.
- 37:04Speaker 1: I mean it was just this one woman. It could
- 37:06Speaker 1: have been a lot of people. But the investigating exactly
- 37:10Speaker 1: how this happened. So we're out of time. I'll be
- 37:14Speaker 1: back tomorrow. I'll be taking a couple of days off
- 37:17Speaker 1: later this week. We'll have a special guest host this time,
- 37:21Speaker 1: and don't go away. Buck and Clay are coming up next.

- 37:52Speaker 1: you want so I'll see you tomorrow ten to noon.
