I feel like it can't be Nick that well first of he's already comment. Yeah, he would. Morgan's the one who's like, I don't know. Morgan's he got like a notification about like his college loans that he's paying off. They're gonna go up major, so he had to apply for some sort of other thing. Like majorly, like four thousand dollars a month, they were gonna try and make him pay it back. And he's like And he's been paying consistently? Yeah. That's insane. So he's like so he's like, let me make sure. And I'm like, I mean, I so he filled out some form and should be paying what he's been paying, which is a normal amount. So Yeah. Well, I don't know. The more I want to do it. Don't get me wrong, but maybe we should just like Well we can ride all the rides. What do you mean? We get to ride all the rides. At each park? No. We get to ride the big rides. Well yeah. Yeah. Officially. Why? Am I missing something? Well then don't think it's a specific surprise. No. No, it's just not. Never mind. So we want to do four parks one day. And Nick said go for it. So if we get I don't know, we don't have any comments. We're gonna do it regardless. But please comment. So and don't make it some like don't tell me to go wait in the flight of pastures line at Animal Kingdom at twelve o'clock PM. That's not happening. We would do that one first. It's just it sh it shouldn't be that hard. I think it was harder when there was no skyliner. Right? It does feel easy. See, I would say ride, snack, character. Mm. That's what I would say. I'd say show, but that's because But Epcot doesn't really have a show. And I feel like character would be a lot more easier easier a lot easier to. That is true. Epcot well mm nice. And Animal Kingdom only has the one show and it doesn't start till like ten thirty. No, you're right. no, wait, now it has Nemo. Has Nemo. Does it? Mm-hmm. okay. It opened. Okay. A while ago. I don't know. So Yeah. That would make it a lot more challenging though. But I was thinking too, like, will that ruin our I mean that'll The only thing it's gonna affect is our time in Disney Springs. Yeah. Which we really only go to World of Disney and Gideon's. And we wanna go to Trader Sam's. Yeah. And we want to go to the new restaurant made by Gideon's. Mm-hmm. Which in reality, because we are not getting up early, except maybe to just go get churros and come back or churro waffles and come back, we can stay at Disney Springs. Until it closes. Yeah, that's true. You know, we can get some of those things. We can look at hours and get those things done that night. Yeah. And then and then even low key, like we could go to Disney Springs before our party. I could can't our lunch reservation, like, I think it's gonna be fun. It's a place we've never been, but it's like not high on everyone's list. Mm okay. So I really I have no idea, honestly. If we don't wanna do that, we can just, you know, get our churro waffles when like breakfast is ends around ten, go get our churro waffles, hop on a Disney Springs bus, hang out at Disney Springs, you know. Yeah. We can just play by year. But I do have to cancel within like a two woo two hour window if I don't wanna lose like a deposit or something. I didn't put a deposit down. It's not that expensive of a place. There's some rule about when you cancel a done right dining reservoir. No, it like I think it's two hours. So yeah. Were you able to get that vegan barrel? yeah. Okay. My gosh I'm so honest. Eight fifteen. I heard that. It's for eight fifteen, so Okay. Yeah. but yeah, so four parks one day We're doing it. no, I'm I want to and I just I The only reason I don't want to is 'cause like I wanna do it and still and not feel rushed and I still feel like because of our time constraint, like we have to leave. Yeah. Mm-hmm. That's my only yeah. Thing. So how if if we were planning this when we started planning this trip back in July, but then it wouldn't be the same thing 'cause we're going to the Halloween party on your birthday. I would have said we do four parks one day Friday and Halloween party Saturday. Mm-hmm. Which I don't even know if there is a Halloween party Saturday. Was it there w there were two back to back? Then it must have been it's Saturday. Yeah. But we weren't planning Well but also now I don't think we could, right? Because the tickets are sold out. I don't think we can switch tickets. Unless I find someone like on Facebook who wants to switch tickets with me. Which maybe I should just pull it, you know. What? Why not? Just see if it happens. See if what happens. no, there's not one on the twenty third twenty fourth. It's the twenty second, twenty third. Okay. So we would yeah. Nope. Nope. But that's okay. We're still playing it by ear. Yeah. Regardless of if if we do it, we're gonna have fun with it. Mhm. And we're we'll make it work because we'll just get to Animal Kingdom at rope drop. And we don't have to like we don't have to ru I think the reason we may f end up feeling rushed is because the things we wanna do at the parks are certain things. Right, because like do I wanna ride Fire Passage? Duh. But do I also want to ride Everest? Yeah. Which one would be the easier one to ride? Everest, obviously. Like Hollywood Studios. What do we pick there? I don't know, but we're waiting in a line, right? Regardless. We're not getting lightning unless we did individual Lightning Lane for Rise, which I wouldn't the only at this point the only individual lightning lane I'd pay for is Guardians Guardians. yeah. I I say on this trip at all. I say we do that one anyways. Yeah. Yeah. I say that's the one we do. Cause we don't have we're not gonna have to pay for twenty. With word and more. No, no, no, no. Well but wait. right. So yes, we'll ride it at the party, get that one out of the way, and then we can just ride random ride on it. Mm-hmm. I was thinking that though. I was like, what would I even like? At Magic Kingdom knowing we're gonna be there the night before for the challenge. Mm. You know what I mean? We don't wanna do Tiana's 'cause we don't be wet on a plane. In theory something clo closer to the front of the park, but I I don't know if we care about that either. I guess that one, 'cause that's gonna be our last one, would depend on time. Right? If we have if we are on on a time crunch, we're gonna go get on teacups, you know. Right. Really short wait. If we're if we have a minute, maybe we go do If well, we'll do Space Mountain at the Halloween party, hopefully. See that's what I'm saying. I think we'll have everything we'll do Haunted at the Halloween party. Maybe I'll finally get to ride Jungle Cruise again. I haven't ridden it in so long 'cause nobody loves it. It's fine. It's okay. But we could go do Mermaid, Mermaid's Fun. Mm-hmm. Buzz is now fun. It's also toward the back of the park. Yeah. I mean, like I said, depending on time. Yeah. That's our last one. That one's not a big deal. Right. But Hollywood Studio is gonna be the hard one. Mm-hmm. It's legit just gonna be based on time. I'm a hundred percent gonna say no. I did not care for the Muppets remake of Rockin'. No. So like I'm not gonna waste a line on that. You know? I'd rather do tower or the the shortest line there's gonna be alien swirling saucers. I know. I'm sorry. I actually haven't r wrote that one. Well now it has the new Taylor Swift song in it. So yeah. But yeah, we'll see. So comment w what what should we write in? That's the other thing. I wanna eat all of the food. Do you see all of the food that is being released? You need to stop sending it to me 'cause there is no way we can s consume that much food. yeah. But like what like snack, right? Yeah. 'Cause it wouldn't be And Animal Kingdom's gonna be Animal Kingdom's gonna be hard. They don't have a lot open. They just have b breakfast sandwiches in the morning. Mm. And I've done those breakfast sandwiches. They're not bad. Right. But unless we go line first and then eat on our way out and see if there's anything open towards, you know, could it be popcorn? Like literally any snack, right? Yeah, but I think we should make it more fun than They don't have the the bars, the ice cream bars. I don't know what time they open at. We'll have to do more research into that. But we got it. We it'll be fine. Four parks one day. I I hate that we have to like maybe we just don't. Well, I asked Nick that question and that's where he drew the line. Another night is where he drew the line? No, I asked him on Friday. I was like, What if we just stayed the night an extra night? yeah. Yeah. Well but then Yeah. Or what's the earliest flight Sunday morning? Well we know the latest flight out is our flight. Right. Which is weird. That is a weird normally they have like a nine o'clock. Nine o'clock. Yeah. Like, come on, Disney, help us out. If we l southwest. Earliest flight. Like, I wonder if we could really close down a park. Do you know how exhausted? But then we wouldn't rope drop. If if we were flying I wouldn't rope drop. Right. We're all but the we're staying like Friday night. Right. That's what I'm saying. But but like you said, we could sleep in Saturday, then do the challenge and then not sleep in Nap in an airport? I don't know. Or if you live in Orlando We come crash at the end. Like figure it out. We'll figure it out. Yeah. Either way, we're going yes to to the party. That's for sure. Yeah. Laura: Let's see, Disney News. Okay. that's weird. Avengers Endgame has now surpassed Avatar to become the highest grossing movie of all time worldwide. The boost came from Avengers Endgame Encore. What? So why is Endgame now? Probably because wait, it's saying what? All time. Yeah, in Endgame took the box off his crown back. Why not? Because the new movie's about to come out? Did peop did we is was there a re release of Endgame? Maybe. That might have been it. Okay. That's the only way that makes sense. We're great, Disney news people. That's fine. Next next bit big bit of news is they are revealing more information about the Disney Believe on the Disney Wish. Isn't that this week? Yep. We have I think two days left. of the countdown. So by the time this comes out, there'll already be stuff for Believe, which is scheduled to sale in late 2027, which is exciting. There's another movie being a Hallmark movie being filmed. Another one. Another one. Yeah, the one with Lacey She Shaber was filmed last year. It's not even out. They need to release it. It's coming out this Christmas. They have they're going to have, did you see this? They're gonna have a special shop, a Hallmark shop. Is it part of the news? It's scheduled to open at Disney Springs on October seventh. Yeah. man. So that's cool. I wonder hopefully that's opened late. I'm sure. Late enough. Yeah, yeah. We'll get there. Disney is leaning hard into Halloween and fall with all of their food offerings. That's literally bolded. Food lineup merchandise and seasonal experiences at Walt Disney World. Yeah. Have I mean, my gosh. I What? Yeah, you you keep sending me stuff and I'm like there's no way. Epcot stuff seems to be really good. But looking really good. Is this like normal fall Epcot stuff or is this food and wine Epcot? That's food and wine Epcot stuff. Okay. But then like the Animal Kingdom ice cream brownie Sunday I sent you today is like Halloween themed. yeah. I'm just food. let's see. Vision Quest is coming out. Wait, what? Vision Quest. Vision. It's I don't have to worry about like seeing him every day and like his little weird walk and everything. So I mean I think we do get to keep him. I know, but like. Probably. I don't know. Yeah. Okay. That's all I have. So we have watched Me for like the thousandth time. Captain America the first Avenger. Lindy? Does this have a what? Was this your first time watching it? Yeah. Really? Mm-hmm. I haven't even I hadn't even seen like bits and pieces of it. Really? Yeah. I he's Captain America is one of my favorites. I picked up after or like af yeah, after this one. Okay. So Avengers basically. Okay, so question number one, is Steve Rogers actually a good superhero? So it says does Steve Rogers become a hero because he gets superpowers, or was he already a hero before the experiment? You I think you could tell, like, he wanted so much to go to war. I think that was just him. He had the heart. And he didn't have to go and save Bucky and all those guys. He could have just stayed show ponied, you know? That's what he was doing. He wa they called him a chorus girl. He was a chorus girl. And he could have been he could have been happy with that. But yeah. No. I was trying to at some point well it was early on in the movie. It was like after they did the thing with the the cell regenerat whatever. And I was like, okay, so most Marvel movies are like something goes wrong or like like lab accident or like radioactive whatever. But this is like it's it was supposed to happen. So I was like mm hmm kind of mm hmm thrown off by it. But Yeah. I just feel like it had a slow start. Like I understand why. They had to like introduce him as like a puny little guy and then all of Captain America's movies I feel like are a slower, more story-based start. Right? Like action of which might be why I like them. Who knows? Okay, so so since this was your first time watching it, what was your first What were you expecting? Literally had zero expectations. Okay, cool. Well, because I did the all that I knew was that he was called Captain America and it was w World War Two era. Okay. That's it. Cool. That's all I got. Okay. All right, let's talk about Steven Bucky real quick. Okay. Do we like their friendship? I think it's that would've been that would've been a cute Halloween costume for us to go as Steve and Bucky. How would we do that? I don't know. One of us would be Captain America, the other one would be the winner solder. You'll get there eventually. Okay, okay, okay. Bucky says Bucky being Steve's protector. Yeah. Yeah. I wish yeah. There hasn't been one this right. But I wish we had more of a backstory on them. Making sure all my Captain Americas are going through my head right now. I wish I wish we had more of like their adolescence, I guess. Their origin story. Their origin story. Yeah, for sure. I mean it it implies that they've been friends for a long time. Yes. But and that Bucky's always been like Steve's always gotten himself into like trouble. Quote unqu not like trouble trouble, like stealing or anything, but like sticking up for like the smaller guy and then he gets in trouble because he is the smaller guy and then Bucky's always there to bail him out kind of thing. Why do you think Bucky understands Steve better than almost everyone? Yeah. Yeah. Did you immediately did you I mean you knew you knew who Bucky was? Well so the question is, did you immediately realize Bucky was going to be important later? Yeah. But like you knew who he was or no? N no. No? You don't know who he is? No. In the overarching story? No. I just told you the two things I knew about Captain America. Yeah, but he's in the event he's in like more movies after Avengers. Nope. Okay. He died. What? because of the timeline, right? And did you ever watch that T V series? Probably not. Probably Nick was watching it and I just kinda I wanted to wa I've never watched it and I've always wanted to watch it. Might be a little side quest I do. Yeah. Okay. Do you think he's a good superhero? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So this is broken up a little bit differently than our normal ones are. He kinda chat kinda just broke it up into sections. So we talked about Bucky. Now we're gonna talk about the super soldier experiment itself, where Steve becomes Captain America. why didn't Erk Sine choose someone who was already physically tr strong? someone mentally strong. Or like you know what I That would like like with a good heart. Yeah. I feel like it wasn't just a jerk. Yeah. his philosophy was power doesn't make someone good or bad. It re reveals who they already are. Ooh, if someone else would have received the serum, w do you think they would have become Captain America? Hmm. I mean I'm gonna go with it now. But Yeah, but everybody like who else was in the running didn't have that same kind of moral compact. Right. Yeah, worked out. Steve's like a he's a good and I mean, if you've seen The Avengers and you've seen some of the other movies besides Sydney of the Captain America's, he's a present in a lot and he has this moral compass throughout the entire arc of Cap of the MCU. Okay. Which I think is what makes him him. Right? Like he's he doesn't waver. Mm-hmm. Yeah. And I think that's what's important. Right. For sure. I couldn't get a well I mean I know what what's his name? Chr Chris what's his name? Chris Evans. Chris Evans, sorry. I know what he looks like in real life. And so when you see that version of whatever they did, but Nick was like I don't know how they did it, but It looks real weird and then I couldn't stop and I was just like focused in on that. I like, ooh, it does look so weird. See it that looks weird, but then also seeing Chris Evans in any other role to me is very, very odd. the other Chris, who plays Pratt. Pratt, I can see him in a lot of roles. Mm-hmm. And maybe it's because I saw him in Parks and Rec before I saw him in this, but like To me, I can see him in a lot of stuff. Robert Downey Jr. I can see in a lot of stuff. you know, but Chris Evans for some reason is always in my mind Captain America. I don't know why. They got what they were going for, I guess. Yeah. Yeah. See now we're gonna talk about Captain America becoming a signal symbol. Not signal. so he's never really treated like a soldier, he's instead treated like a symbol. he let's see, it says to talk about the USO performances. Those are funny. His costume, the shield, the propaganda, the comic book, the dancing girls. And how Steve feels about being used as entertainment. I do one of my favorite parts is when they're like, Bring back the girls. He's like, Well, they only know the one song. I did well, so toward the end, or or I guess yeah, like toward the end of that, I feel like he kind of he was like starting to like eat it up a little bit more. Like he you know, and then he And I was hoping, I'm glad it you know, it didn't go that like toward like vanity or whatever, but it seemed like it was kinda trying to creep its way in there 'cause he did seem to enjoy the attention or s or start to enjoy it. Well, I mean, yeah, he's this scrawny kid from the Bronx who's never been treated with any sort of like value 'cause he's tiny, has asthma. Yeah, and then now I mean that w it doesn't matter if you have the ha a heart of gold. Like That's going to mess with someone. Yeah, that's going to make you feel like, ooh, people pay attention to me. I love it, you know? Yeah. But it didn't go where I thought it gonna go, so I was glad. Yeah. Well, we all were glad. Was turning Steve into a celebrity actually disrespectful to what he wanted to do? I mean yeah. Yeah. He wanted to fight for his country. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Okay, and when do you think he actually becomes Captain America? When he gets the serum, serum, serum? Serum, serum. When he saves the soldiers, when he rescues Bucky, or when he sacrifices himself at the end. What? I think it fell since that part. Wow. It was late. Wow. I don't know. I mean I think he always had it in him. Right? Like he always had that potential there. Okay. Because of his like he you knew that he was gonna do something big. Just the way he carried himself, like his determination with getting into the army and Okay. I think he just like finally was able to do like his body was able to do what his heart wanted. Heart wanted to do. Yeah. Okay. Okay, that's a good answer. Hot take? Not really. I mean kinda. I mean people some people don't say it's until like he really becomes he really saves like starts saving the soldiers or Bucky or anything like that. So yeah. Peggy Carter. I love her. my gosh. Are you a fondue? okay, so Peggy, let's talk about Peggy's confidence, her military role, her relationship with Steve, why she doesn't treat Steve differently after his transformation, and her reaction to Steve's sacrifice. my gosh, that scene is one of the Wait, which one? Don't ask somebody's yelling at me. I yeah, and that's what that's the one thing I really enjoyed about this movie. 'Cause I feel like so far it has been like trying to think Iron Man. Iron Man was well, I Iron Man was technically wartime too, you know? But Yes, it's the same woman. It is okay. When it gets like when Thor got into all the gods and the the it like I don't know, I just The fantasy aspect of it. Yeah, it doesn't land as much with me as like, well like World War Two happened, like I can definitely see this being a thing. Yeah. It's just more believable to me, I guess. I don't know. Yeah. Can't relate, but that's because I like a fantasy world. Well it was obviously still fantasy because it's Yeah. But it's like cemented in some sort of realism. Yeah. I think I honestly really don't think he she really fell for him until he saved. Yeah. But I don't think that's a fair question to frame it around the serum being the catalyst because Right. So like Okay. Yeah. You know. I mean Right, or is he just there for what he sets up? I think he's just there for what he sets up. I don't think he's like you know, there's no reason this was a World War Two movie with the Tesseract needing to be somehow Right, right. A thing. Well and he yeah. So he was sort of the He was like the Adolf of Hydra. Yeah. So there's like that parallel there. But yeah. I think I agree with you. Hm okay. If you I don't know I'm still I I d I know what the Tesseract is, but like I don't but I don't. Like it's the it's the little the blue power cube. Yes, but ultimately I can't remember I know they talk about it in like all the Marvel movies, but I can't remember the significance of it. Because I I don't know if we get I can't even spell test. He had loaded the hydro weapons onto the plane and he crashes it into the Arctic Ocean. Then yeah. At that point, yes, I think he did realize Yeah. He knew it yeah.
