- 0:58Speaker 2: Let me ask you this slip up flop for common
- 1:00Speaker 2: people that might be, you know, struggling just to just
- 1:03Speaker 2: to have enough money to pay bills right, what would
- 1:06Speaker 2: be your suggestion to kind of what's a good starter
- 1:09Speaker 2: way for them to actually start investing? Like, what's your
- 1:14Speaker 2: opinion because I know, like you know what I'm saying,
- 1:16Speaker 2: A lot of times people might that might be a
- 1:17Speaker 2: hurdle for them to be like, well, I don't really
- 1:20Speaker 2: have enough discretionary income to put money into the stock market.
- 1:23Speaker 2: What's your what's your what's your thoughts for them?
- 1:25Speaker 3: So let me make sure I understand what you're saying, right,
- 1:28Speaker 3: Like you're saying they don't have enough money to invest
- 1:30Speaker 3: a hot should they start?
- 1:32Speaker 2: I'm going to make sure I can answer it no,
- 1:34Speaker 2: like as far as like if they if they're struggling
- 1:36Speaker 2: to invest, like what's some like what would be like?
- 1:39Speaker 2: Because for me, I'm looking at like even like an
- 1:41Speaker 2: HSA right where people a lot of times might not
- 1:44Speaker 2: be familiar with that, Like that's the way to actually
- 1:46Speaker 2: start investing via your health insurance. It's like a backdoor
- 1:49Speaker 2: investment way. People don't know what h HSA is. It's
- 1:51Speaker 2: a health savings account and break that down. Yeah, so
- 1:54Speaker 2: like the health savings account is so like you have
- 1:56Speaker 2: like a high deductible health plan, right, which is like
- 1:58Speaker 2: very popular with you, Like I have high deductible health plan,
- 2:01Speaker 2: and it's like usually when you don't go to the
- 2:03Speaker 2: doctor a lot your premium, Like, why would you pay
- 2:07Speaker 2: for the regular health plan like an HMO or PPO
- 2:10Speaker 2: when you can get a high deductible health plan. But
- 2:12Speaker 2: the thing with the high deductible health plan is that
- 2:14Speaker 2: it's a higher deductible, right, So it's like, let's say
- 2:17Speaker 2: you got the PPO, the premium might be like, let's
- 2:20Speaker 2: say four hundred dollars a month, but with the high
- 2:23Speaker 2: deductible plan, it's two hundred dollars a month, but your
- 2:27Speaker 2: deductible is a lot higher. Deductible might be two times
- 2:31Speaker 2: higher in the PPO. So if you if you go
- 2:34Speaker 2: too many times, you get caught out there and you
- 2:36Speaker 2: gotta pay more money out of pocket. So it's a
- 2:38Speaker 2: calculated risk. But a lot of young The reason why
- 2:41Speaker 2: I mentioned is that a lot of young people and
- 2:43Speaker 2: a lot of people with every dollar's count they might
- 2:45Speaker 2: either they don't go to the doctor that much, or
- 2:48Speaker 2: they're just making financial decisions where it's like, you know what,
- 2:51Speaker 2: I really can't afford the PPO, so I'm gonna do
- 2:53Speaker 2: the high deductible or whatever. So one of the good
- 2:56Speaker 2: things with the high deductible plan is that allows you
- 2:58Speaker 2: with the health set savings account. So with the health
- 3:01Speaker 2: savings account, it is pretty much like a savings that
- 3:04Speaker 2: you're putting money into to pay for that deductible or
- 3:08Speaker 2: any out of pocket expenses that you may have. Right,
- 3:10Speaker 2: But the good thing is that the money comes up
- 3:13Speaker 2: out of your paycheck before you actually get paid. Like
- 3:15Speaker 2: it's like the four one K. Okay, you know what
- 3:17Speaker 2: I'm saying. So it actually lowers your taxable income. Because
- 3:20Speaker 2: it's the thing with the four one K is that
- 3:22Speaker 2: when you put money into a four on one case's
- 3:24Speaker 2: called pre tax dollars, you know that. So it's like,
- 3:26Speaker 2: if you're making one hundred thousand and you put ten
- 3:27Speaker 2: thousand in, now you're taxed on ninety thousand because it
- 3:30Speaker 2: lowers your taxable income by ten thousand dollars. So now
- 3:32Speaker 2: with the HSA, like the most you can put in
- 3:35Speaker 2: is thirty five hundred thirty five fifty for a single
- 3:37Speaker 2: person in seventy one hundred for a family. So let's
- 3:40Speaker 2: say you put three thousand dollars into the HSA, So
- 3:42Speaker 2: now that you're making you know, sixty thousand dollars, now
- 3:45Speaker 2: it lowers your taxable income, so you're not paying any
- 3:48Speaker 2: taxes on it.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Right.
- 3:49Speaker 2: But the cool thing about it is that it can
- 3:51Speaker 2: actually be invested, like how four one K is, So
- 3:53Speaker 2: you can put it in like different type of like investments,
- 3:56Speaker 2: stock market investments, mutual fund stuff like that, and now
- 4:00Speaker 2: money grows. So now let's say you put like three
- 4:02Speaker 2: thousand dollars in for one year, right, but you got
- 4:03Speaker 2: to go to the eye doctor and you gotta get
- 4:04Speaker 2: glasses or whatever, any type of medical expense. Instead of
- 4:08Speaker 2: not having money to pay for it, you've been saving
- 4:10Speaker 2: and you just use your HSA and they give you
- 4:12Speaker 2: like a debit card and all that. But if you
- 4:15Speaker 2: don't go to the doctor, because it's a calculated risk, right,
- 4:17Speaker 2: that's the whole point of having a high deductible plan.
- 4:19Speaker 2: You're not going to the doctor. So if you don't
- 4:21Speaker 2: go to the doctor, what happens is that that money
- 4:23Speaker 2: rolls over and to the next year. So now next
- 4:26Speaker 2: year you start with three thousand, right, So what happens
- 4:29Speaker 2: is that the money grows. And it's kind of similar
- 4:31Speaker 2: to an IRA because at the age sixty five, you
- 4:34Speaker 2: can actually take that money out without paying a penalty.
- 4:37Speaker 2: You take it out before you get a penalty. Okay,
- 4:39Speaker 2: now sixty five, you can take the money out. You
- 4:41Speaker 2: just pay state and federal tax you don't pay a
- 4:43Speaker 2: ten percent penalty or twenty percent penalty for taking the
- 4:46Speaker 2: money out early. So that's kind of like a backdoor way,
- 4:49Speaker 2: like for me in my opinion, where it's like, I
- 4:51Speaker 2: got to save money for my health insurance. So if
- 4:54Speaker 2: my budget was let's say, four hundred dollars a month,
- 4:57Speaker 2: I'd rather do the high deductible plan, put two hundred
- 5:00Speaker 2: towards the premium two hundred towards the HSA. If I
- 5:03Speaker 2: got to use it for the I'm gonna use it anyway.
- 5:05Speaker 2: But if not, now that's going to be like an investment,
- 5:08Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. A couple thousand dollars over
- 5:10Speaker 2: the course of time adds up, you might have it.
- 5:12Speaker 2: I'm one hundred thousand dollars in thirty years.
- 5:14Speaker 4: I'm from the world where it was like, yo, if
- 5:15Speaker 4: you didn't use your benefits this year, yeah they don't
- 5:18Speaker 4: roll over the next It's like, yeah, you better use it.
- 5:20Speaker 5: By the eleventh of November.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Well, the thing about it is it's so many different
- 5:24Speaker 2: things as far as like, even with the four one k,
- 5:27Speaker 2: people don't know that you got a raw four one
- 5:28Speaker 2: k option. You might have that like and it's like
- 5:30Speaker 2: you don't even know a lot of times what's offered
- 5:32Speaker 2: at your job, right, And this is why education is
- 5:34Speaker 2: so important. Like you know what I'm saying. It's like
- 5:37Speaker 2: little stuff like that might change the direction of your.
- 5:40Speaker 5: Fow thousand, one thousand December.
- 5:41Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 5:42Speaker 4: You get that email like in this world, in this world, yeah,
- 5:45Speaker 4: you're not familiar with this. It's been a while, right,
- 5:47Speaker 4: so in this one, like they give you an email like, Yo,
- 5:48Speaker 4: this financial advisor is coming on December fifteenth if you
- 5:51Speaker 4: want a schedule appointment, and it'd be some like the
- 5:53Speaker 4: dude with ballheaded with glasses and he talking to you
- 5:56Speaker 4: and you're like, yo, what is he talking about? You
- 5:58Speaker 4: know what I'm saying. But like this type of information, it's
- 6:00Speaker 4: like yo, people just knew it.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Yeah man, But so yeah, so like for you, like
- 6:05Speaker 2: I want you to really hammer a home, like even
- 6:07Speaker 2: you could save even one hundred dollars or right, I
- 6:09Speaker 2: got fifty dollars a month, gotcha.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Yeah, So let me say this first. Man, I say
- 6:13Speaker 3: this on chatting Tuesday all the time, and I don't
- 6:15Speaker 3: know if people be thinking I'd be dead serious. Yo, listen,
- 6:19Speaker 3: I'm not a fiduciary or financial advisor. Know that everything

- 8:22Speaker 6: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 8:26Speaker 6: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 8:30Speaker 6: accused of murdering a Texas. Man of Venezuelan charged with
- 8:34Speaker 6: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 8:38Speaker 6: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 8:42Speaker 6: Donald J.
- 8:42Speaker 7: Trump's leadership. I'm Christy Nohm, the United States.
- 8:45Speaker 6: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 8:50Speaker 6: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 8:54Speaker 6: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 8:57Speaker 6: were here illegally, your next you will be fine nearly
- 9:01Speaker 6: one thousand dollars a day. Imprisoned and deported, you will
- 9:05Speaker 6: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 9:09Speaker 6: app and leave now, you could be allowed.
- 9:11Speaker 7: To return legally. Do what's right. Leave now.
- 9:15Speaker 6: Under President Trump, America's laws, border and families will be protected.
- 9:20Speaker 5: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homewd.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Security Financial Advisory. I'm not one, but I know one
- 9:25Speaker 3: by the name of a Shad. He can take you
- 9:30Speaker 3: to glory. Take it.
- 9:31Speaker 5: I can just take you to the that's listen, this
- 9:34Speaker 5: dude is so small they sleep.
- 9:37Speaker 3: But I'd say that every Tuesday, man, and people be laughing.
- 9:39Speaker 3: But this dude is brilliant.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Man.
- 9:41Speaker 5: If you he just broke that dumb he had me
- 9:44Speaker 5: like I just got blue cross ship should.
- 9:49Speaker 3: I'm happy I got to call this guy. He come with.
- 9:55Speaker 3: I got an idea. But that's that's that's real talk, man.
- 9:59Speaker 3: So one of the things I like to do is
- 10:01Speaker 3: tell people to say, try to save ten percent whatever
- 10:03Speaker 3: they make, write whatever you make it. If you get
- 10:05Speaker 3: one hundred dollars a week, save ten percent. If you
- 10:07Speaker 3: get one hundred dollars every two weeks, save ten percent.
- 10:10Speaker 3: And so the easiest way to get in the market,
- 10:13Speaker 3: because we understand that the stock market does for you
- 10:17Speaker 3: way more than putting your money in a bank to
- 10:19Speaker 3: do for you. Right, we already understand we all have
- 10:21Speaker 3: beat that drum forever, right, And so one of the
- 10:24Speaker 3: things you can do is get into index funds or ETFs, right.
- 10:28Speaker 3: And the reason being is because so let's say you
- 10:30Speaker 3: not you're not comfortable enough to say, let me buy
- 10:34Speaker 3: a Tesla. I don't have enough to buy a Tesla
- 10:37Speaker 3: right now. I ain't my risk tolerance it's not there
- 10:41Speaker 3: yet to see beyond meat go down five ten percent
- 10:45Speaker 3: and still be there.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Right.
- 10:46Speaker 3: And most people don't even understand, you know, and it's
- 10:48Speaker 3: not because they don't know it because these haven't been
- 10:50Speaker 3: exposed to you yet. They don't know that if the
- 10:52Speaker 3: stock you bought it at thirty dollars and it goes
- 10:54Speaker 3: down to twenty eight, most people name mine, I lost
- 10:57Speaker 3: some money.
- 10:58Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying, That's not the case.
- 11:00Speaker 3: So one of the best things I would say for
- 11:02Speaker 3: people to do is buy index funds like ETS when
- 11:05Speaker 3: you first got in the game. ETS for me ets
- 11:07Speaker 3: better than index funds, you know what I'm saying. And
- 11:10Speaker 3: it's simply because now you can get exposure to a
- 11:12Speaker 3: specific industry. Right, and I know an episode for the
- 11:15Speaker 3: Full the Classic, we broke something down, but in the reup,
- 11:19Speaker 3: we're gonna reentery it. So it's an ETF is simple
- 11:23Speaker 3: where let's say I wanted to buy some marijuana stocks, right,
- 11:26Speaker 3: but I know that's kind of a volatile industry. It's
- 11:29Speaker 3: full of young bucks. You know what I'm saying, It's
- 11:31Speaker 3: full of young bucks. So what happens is you can
- 11:33Speaker 3: buy the marijuana ETF. And now depending on which one
- 11:36Speaker 3: you buy, whether it's Yolo, whether it's MJ, you know
- 11:39Speaker 3: what I'm saying. Now you have fifteen twenty marijuana stocks
- 11:42Speaker 3: at one time, right, and now if one or two
- 11:45Speaker 3: of them down, or three of them down, the whole industry,
- 11:48Speaker 3: the whole ETF might go down fifty cent, right, Whereas
- 11:51Speaker 3: if you in that one stock that went down anyt
- 11:54Speaker 3: give them money. You wake up and you down eight dollars.
- 11:56Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. So, and also with indexed
- 11:59Speaker 3: funds ETFs, I'm not a fan of dollar cost averaging
- 12:04Speaker 3: because that allows me to buy stocks over priced over time.
- 12:08Speaker 3: But with index funds and ETFs that are fifty dollars
- 12:11Speaker 3: sixty dollars, you can buy into those every time.
- 12:14Speaker 2: And dollar cost averaging for anybody is when you put
- 12:16Speaker 2: money in every single month, for every single it's a
- 12:18Speaker 2: period of time, every week or whatever.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Yeah, you appreciated, Like, so, you buy an apple, you
- 12:22Speaker 3: will buy no matter what.
- 12:23Speaker 5: The price is.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Every first of the month.
- 12:25Speaker 3: You buying Apple, no matter what the price is, you
- 12:27Speaker 3: buying it just to stay in right. And so for me,
- 12:31Speaker 3: I'm not a dollar cost averaging person. I'm an averaging
- 12:34Speaker 3: down type of person. Right, and averaging down is saying
- 12:37Speaker 3: I found it, I bought it at fifteen dollars. I
- 12:40Speaker 3: don't care if it run all the way up. Right Now,
- 12:42Speaker 3: what I do is, I'm every half a year, every
- 12:45Speaker 3: two quarters, I reevaluate every stock I'm invested in right
- 12:49Speaker 3: to understand what a value is at. So now if
- 12:52Speaker 3: the stock price dips, I'm not buying it. But it
- 12:55Speaker 3: dips at a below value price, I can buy it, right.
- 12:58Speaker 3: So example, I bought Amazon and twoenty eighteen at nineteen
- 13:02Speaker 3: hundred dollars. I bought it in October November December eighteen.
- 13:08Speaker 3: The market went into a correction, you know what I'm saying,
- 13:12Speaker 3: and it went from nineteen to seventeen, nineteen hundred to
- 13:15Speaker 3: seventeen hundred.
- 13:16Speaker 2: I bought it at seventeen hundred.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Now what that does is that brings my nineteen hundred
- 13:20Speaker 3: dollars buying price down to about eighteen twenty five. Right,
- 13:24Speaker 3: So now don't gotta wait to get to nineteen to
- 13:27Speaker 3: see profit. I can start seeing profit again at eighteen
- 13:30Speaker 3: seventy five, right. And so then it went from eighteen
- 13:33Speaker 3: to sixteen. I bought two moshas at sixteen. So now
- 13:37Speaker 3: instead of me seeing profit at eighteen seventy five, I
- 13:39Speaker 3: can probably see profit now at like seventeen eighty or
- 13:42Speaker 3: something like that. Right. And then it went down from seventeen,
- 13:47Speaker 3: I mean, from seventeen to fifteen, I missed it and
- 13:50Speaker 3: I got it again at thirteen. So now instead of
- 13:53Speaker 3: me saying profit at nineteen, I now got profit at
- 13:56Speaker 3: sixteen hundred. When I bought it at thirteen forty three
- 14:00Speaker 3: on my cost basis all the way down to like
- 14:01Speaker 3: sixteen seventy five. You feel what I'm saying. So I'm
- 14:04Speaker 3: with buying a discount over a period of time. I'm
- 14:07Speaker 3: okay with that. And I told Smalls that I was like, Yo,
- 14:10Speaker 3: I don't like green markets.
- 14:12Speaker 5: I like blood.
- 14:14Speaker 3: I like blood. You know what I'm saying, because that
- 14:17Speaker 3: means I can get stuff at a discount. But back
- 14:19Speaker 3: to what we were saying, So with individual stocks, I'm
- 14:23Speaker 3: a dollar cost average. But with index funds and ETFs,
- 14:27Speaker 3: it's a great way for you to.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Get in with a lower amount every time because there's
- 14:32Speaker 2: there's not the same requirement that you.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Have to requirements. My graduates from my school being false
- 14:39Speaker 3: back drop drop or Mike drop backdrop drop.
- 14:54Speaker 6: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 14:58Speaker 6: in Massachusetts. MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador accused
- 15:03Speaker 6: of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with filming
- 15:07Speaker 6: and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just some
- 15:11Speaker 6: of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President Donald J.
- 15:15Speaker 6: Trump's leadership. I'm Christy nom the United States Secretary of
- 15:18Speaker 6: Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border crossings are
- 15:23Speaker 6: at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over one hundred
- 15:27Speaker 6: thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you are here illegally,
- 15:31Speaker 6: your next you will be fined nearly one thousand dollars.
- 15:34Speaker 7: A day, imprisoned, and deported. You will never return.
- 15:38Speaker 6: But if you register using our CBP home app and
- 15:42Speaker 6: leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 15:45Speaker 7: Do what's right, leave now.
- 15:47Speaker 6: Under President Trump, America's laws, border and families will be protected.
- 15:52Speaker 5: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security,
