- 0:23Speaker 1: It is time to believe your worries outside and laugh
- 0:27Speaker 1: with us inside the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley along with
- 0:31Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm, Raj Sharma, and Jerry Caldwell. Today is Day
- 0:43Speaker 1: Mark's twenty first, twenty twenty five. Not only are we
- 0:47Speaker 1: smiling because it's Friday, but Raj is smiling because he
- 0:50Speaker 1: loves to hear me sing Friday. Jerry Tray not so much.
- 0:57Speaker 2: I enjoy it. You want to tell your face.
- 1:04Speaker 1: That is Trey's enjoying face. All right, we're gonna we're
- 1:10Speaker 1: gonna go from a happy to uh a sort of sad,
- 1:15Speaker 1: angry powerful inside the Treehouse today, kind of a random
- 1:19Speaker 1: off the wall question to start with you guys today
- 1:22Speaker 1: inside the Treehouse. If you were given the power right
- 1:26Speaker 1: now to make any creature on this planet go extinct,
- 1:32Speaker 1: what creature would it be? I'm gonna give you a
- 1:35Speaker 1: give you a moment to think about your answer there,
- 1:38Speaker 1: and I'm going to tell you why I'm asking you
- 1:41Speaker 1: this and what my answer is. So if you could,
- 1:44Speaker 1: if you were given the power right now to make
- 1:46Speaker 1: any creature on this planet go extinct, what would it be?
- 1:51Speaker 1: Might be an insect, might be a creepy crawley might
- 1:55Speaker 1: be a specific maybe a specific animal that did you
- 1:58Speaker 1: harm back in the day for tray, Maybe it's his
- 2:02Speaker 1: disdain for raccoons that we learned about yesterday out of nowhere.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Had no idea the strained relationship you have with our
- 2:12Speaker 1: loved with our beloved trash pandas.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Uh the more I've learned about them, now I really
- 2:18Speaker 3: I love them and I even feed them.
- 2:20Speaker 1: But uh so in twenty four hours, you've completely turned
- 2:24Speaker 1: around on raccoons.
- 2:26Speaker 3: No, it's been it's it's been a long it's been
- 2:29Speaker 3: a process over the last you know, I don't know,
- 2:31Speaker 3: ten to fifteen years, because I've learned about them and
- 2:34Speaker 3: then I've you.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Know, it's a journey you've learned to embrace them.
- 2:39Speaker 4: Yes, did a bunch of them show up at your
- 2:41Speaker 4: house with an offer you couldn't refuse?
- 2:44Speaker 2: No, they're just there.
- 2:45Speaker 3: They're actually adorable and they're they're funny to watch and the
- 2:48Speaker 3: way they use their front paws and.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Thought, Hm, you know they even have did you know
- 2:54Speaker 2: that they even so organized?
- 2:55Speaker 3: They have like they have areas for work, they have
- 2:57Speaker 3: areas for play, they have areas for sleep, areas to.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Eat and rabies, not always even people sometimes get rabies,
- 3:08Speaker 1: raj It shouldn't be an indictment on the entire species,
- 3:15Speaker 1: all right. So, now you've had a little bit of
- 3:17Speaker 1: time to think about your answer, what creature would you
- 3:19Speaker 1: want to go extinct? The reason I'm asking you this
- 3:21Speaker 1: question is because this past weekend my wife had an event.
- 3:28Speaker 1: We were outside and the no sums were out.
- 3:32Speaker 2: I hate no sums.
- 3:34Speaker 1: If you had asked me, if I had asked myself
- 3:36Speaker 1: the question what creature would you want to go extinct
- 3:40Speaker 1: years ago, I might have said the mosquito, But now
- 3:44Speaker 1: that I have had run ins with no sums, my
- 3:50Speaker 1: vote is the no sum also known as a sand fly,
- 3:54Speaker 1: also known as biting midges, which I think is actually
- 3:57Speaker 1: a name of one of Trey's exes. So if I
- 4:00Speaker 1: was given the power to make any creature on this
- 4:04Speaker 1: planet go extinct, it would be then no see them
- 4:07Speaker 1: because hey, it's true, you can't really see them and
- 4:10Speaker 1: be their bites are ferocious. You can't see them, but
- 4:13Speaker 1: when they bite you you can feel it. It hurts,
- 4:17Speaker 1: It hurts bad. And then the welt that gets left
- 4:23Speaker 1: after the fact, Like, can you guys see that on
- 4:25Speaker 1: my arm?
- 4:25Speaker 2: Right there.
- 4:26Speaker 1: That's actually better than it has been. That looks good. Niche. Yeah,
- 4:30Speaker 1: it's super itchy and it's them. Yeah, well you see
- 4:34Speaker 1: the bites just not the bug. For all I know,
- 4:37Speaker 1: it's living in there making more of them.
- 4:40Speaker 2: It looked like you had like that was a rope
- 4:42Speaker 2: mark around your wrist.
- 4:45Speaker 1: That's that's that's that's unrelated, tray.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Did they open a BUCkies in Saint John's.
- 4:54Speaker 5: No?
- 4:54Speaker 1: No, no, no, uh yeah, that's that's that's unrelated trip.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Uh.
- 4:59Speaker 1: But the noseums they have, they are super itchy and
- 5:02Speaker 1: the itch comes on slowly, like it's about eighteen to
- 5:06Speaker 1: twenty four hours is when they really starting to itch bad?
- 5:11Speaker 2: What?
- 5:11Speaker 1: What? What? Why the reaction? So Raj Trey, my god.
- 5:18Speaker 5: I can't never want to see it's I know what
- 5:20Speaker 5: he's thinking because I'm thinking.
- 5:22Speaker 1: The same I think we all are. Anyway, it gets
- 5:30Speaker 1: there slowly, it does, it comes on never mind.
- 5:36Speaker 5: Uh.
- 5:36Speaker 1: So my answer to the question what creature would you
- 5:40Speaker 1: make go extinct immediately? My answer is the nseum. They're
- 5:43Speaker 1: vicious little bloodsuckers. Jerry, what would you choose? What creature
- 5:49Speaker 1: would you want to have go extinct immediately? If you
- 5:51Speaker 1: were given the power.
- 5:53Speaker 4: This is very difficult for me, being very much aware
- 5:57Speaker 4: of how things interact with the eCos estimate all of that.
- 6:00Speaker 4: But if I could have something go extinct and it
- 6:03Speaker 4: would not crash an ecosystem, it would have to be
- 6:07Speaker 4: the cock of roach.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Oh that would be my wife's answer.
- 6:11Speaker 4: I'm getting sick of those little leaps, Raj, What about you?
- 6:18Speaker 4: What creature would what creature would you want to go extinct?
- 6:21Speaker 2: Wasps?
- 6:22Speaker 1: The White Anglo Saxon Protestants.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Both they both sting hard.

- 8:33Speaker 1: inside the Treehouse now, I'm Daniel Malley along with Trey, Trent,
- 8:36Speaker 1: Homaraje Sharma and Jerry called Well just talking about what
- 8:39Speaker 1: creatures we would want to go extinct if we had
- 8:42Speaker 1: the sudden power to do so, and in very Jerry Caldwell.
- 8:50Speaker 1: True to form, Jerry was saying that his hate for
- 8:56Speaker 1: certain things on this planet don't stop at creatures. There's
- 8:58Speaker 1: also plants that you wish you could make go extinct. Jerry, Yes,
- 9:02Speaker 1: all Mandinas need to die. What Nandina?
- 9:09Speaker 4: Yes, Nandina one of the most useless decorative plants just
- 9:16Speaker 4: sticks with these little spindley leaves on. It makes all
- 9:19Speaker 4: these berries and it just makes the If you plant
- 9:21Speaker 4: in Nandina, you had better be sure that that's all
- 9:23Speaker 4: you want in the next like one hundred square feet.
- 9:29Speaker 5: Okay, I've plowed a Nandina, but I've never planted one.
- 9:33Speaker 5: Uh So, I.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Know Nandina sounds like someone's aunt. I was about to
- 9:38Speaker 1: say her grandma.
- 9:39Speaker 4: You know, it is also an old It is also
- 9:43Speaker 4: an old Southern name too.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Yes, but it is. They're just so Roger. And you
- 9:48Speaker 1: say that you've plowed a Nandina, Does that mean like
- 9:50Speaker 1: a like literal plow a field of Nandina Or you've
- 9:53Speaker 1: you know, had some somebody's grandma. Yes. For at the
- 9:57Speaker 1: same time, dreams do come true at Texas State.
- 10:03Speaker 10: Very hard working lady, And if you had planted one,
- 10:11Speaker 10: I guess there'd be little raj is running around.
- 10:14Speaker 2: I'm sure there are.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Oh no, so fast. At first I was I was
- 10:22Speaker 1: stunned that you that you even had an answer to
- 10:24Speaker 1: that question, Jerry in plant form. But now that you
- 10:26Speaker 1: bring it up, I am now of the age that
- 10:29Speaker 1: I too have a plant that, if I could, would
- 10:31Speaker 1: make it completely go away forever. And that is uh,
- 10:34Speaker 1: that's because I've had grass. That's because I've had yards.
- 10:37Speaker 1: I hate Dallas grass. Yeah, crab grass, not other random weeds.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Dallas grass. It's a very specific type of weed. It
- 10:45Speaker 1: is the devil. It is crab grass's evil twin. It
- 10:51Speaker 1: is the worst thing I've ever encountered in yard maintenance
- 10:55Speaker 1: in my life. That's how you know that I have
- 10:57Speaker 1: taken care of a long or two in my day.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Oh yeah, grass is the devil, spindley, sticky, ugly.
- 11:06Speaker 5: Yeah, that's how I remember.
- 11:16Speaker 1: All right, Well, let's I tell you what. Let's let's
- 11:17Speaker 1: shift gears into something a little bit happier.
- 11:19Speaker 2: How about that?
- 11:20Speaker 1: Does that sound good? You want to do something happy? Yay?
- 11:22Speaker 6: All right, here we go.
- 11:26Speaker 1: It is time for wrong answers only right here inside
- 11:30Speaker 1: the treehouse. It's time for wrong answers only here inside
- 11:35Speaker 1: the treehouse. Today's topic is a fun one. Wrong answers
- 11:41Speaker 1: only inside the treehouse. Scientists have figured out that there
- 11:50Speaker 1: is something that you need to have a healthy and
- 11:53Speaker 1: happy life. Okay, so wrong answers only. If you want
- 11:58Speaker 1: to live a happy and healthy life, Experts say you
- 12:02Speaker 1: need to have blank more often. Give you a moment
- 12:07Speaker 1: to think about it. Wrong answers only if you want
- 12:09Speaker 1: to have a happy and healthy life, Experts say you
- 12:14Speaker 1: need to have blank more often. I need your wrong
- 12:19Speaker 1: answers only. Jerry will start with you. Wrong answers only, Uh, coolitis. Oh, okay,
- 12:28Speaker 1: that is incorrect, which makes that a correct answer inside
- 12:31Speaker 1: wrong answers only, raj we will go to you now.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Wrong answers only, Uh, if you want to have If
- 12:38Speaker 1: you want to live a happy and healthy life, experts
- 12:43Speaker 1: say you need to have blank more often. Excuses that
- 12:50Speaker 1: is an incorrect answer, which makes it a correct answer
- 12:52Speaker 1: inside wrong answers only. Now, Trey, we go to you.
- 12:57Speaker 1: In today's wrong answers only. If you want to live
- 13:00Speaker 1: a happy and healthy life, experts say you need to
- 13:03Speaker 1: have blank more often.
- 13:05Speaker 2: What is your wrong answer, crazy bitches?
- 13:13Speaker 1: I feel like that could be your wrong answer for
- 13:16Speaker 1: every time we play this game and here it'll work.
- 13:22Speaker 1: It's only it's only going to be wrong once.
- 13:24Speaker 2: You could have used that for what creature you want
- 13:26Speaker 2: to extinct? No?
- 13:28Speaker 5: No, no, no, no, no, no no no, okay, sorry man,
- 13:31Speaker 5: I love.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Uh congratulations, every single one of you gave the wrong answer.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Uh.
- 13:40Speaker 1: If you want to live a happy and healthy life,
- 13:43Speaker 1: experts say you need to have sex more often. That's
- 13:48Speaker 1: what experts say. Uh. No surprise heard that this study
- 13:53Speaker 1: was funded by men everywhere, brought to you by baby dolls. No,
- 14:05Speaker 1: but it is true. If you want to live a
- 14:08Speaker 1: happy and healthy life, experts say you need to have
- 14:11Speaker 1: sex more often. A survey conducted by the adult toy
- 14:15Speaker 1: company The Handy shared that nearly one in five people
- 14:23Speaker 1: over the age of eighteen are not getting it on enough.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Those stats need to change because refraining from not making
- 14:30Speaker 1: whoopee for too long can actually cause depression and anxiety. So,
- 14:36Speaker 1: according to experts, suppressing those urges without alternative stress relieving
- 14:41Speaker 1: outlets can build up prostration and also aggravate anxiety or irritability. Again,
- 14:46Speaker 1: no surprise here that the doctor that is telling us
- 14:49Speaker 1: this is a dude. Thank you doc. Alternative stress relief methods, meditation,
- 14:57Speaker 1: maybe going for a walk lefty, righty, you.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Know, considering everything, I feel like this could have been
- 15:05Speaker 3: a new commercial for Dando.
- 15:10Speaker 1: The adult toy company. Arm of the Treehouse yours.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Right or left, it doesn't matter.

- 16:27Speaker 1: Back inside the Treehouse now, I'm Daniel Malley along with
- 16:29Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm, Raj Sharma and Jerry Caldwell. There is one
- 16:35Speaker 1: of us is having a big life event right now
- 16:37Speaker 1: and I just want to make sure that it's going okay, Trey,
- 16:41Speaker 1: how's the move? Are you ready.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Getting there? Getting there?
- 16:46Speaker 1: Cause how long have you lived in your current place?
- 16:49Speaker 2: Four years?
- 16:53Speaker 3: So been a lot of purging, a lot of throwing
- 16:55Speaker 3: stuff away, getting rid of a lot of things I've
- 16:59Speaker 3: hung on too, were way too long.
- 17:01Speaker 2: So it's good.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Did you find an next girlfriend in the closet?
- 17:05Speaker 5: No, I barreled, those bitches are gone.
- 17:15Speaker 1: That's for sheds.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Moving sucks, there's no way around it. I don't think.
- 17:21Speaker 1: I really don't think there's ever been a time where
- 17:23Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, move, I remember, I think. I
- 17:28Speaker 1: think the only time I wouldn't even say it was
- 17:30Speaker 1: I had fun moving. But probably my best moving event
- 17:36Speaker 1: was moving into my uh. When my roommate and I
- 17:39Speaker 1: moved into our college apartment. We were like nineteen. I
- 17:43Speaker 1: was working at KZPS, the classic rock station in Dallas
- 17:47Speaker 1: Fort Worth, my first radio station, and had no money,
- 17:51Speaker 1: of course, because I was working radio and still going
- 17:53Speaker 1: to college. Some so my roommate and I, Brian, we
- 17:58Speaker 1: needed to move. He was moving out of his brother's
- 18:00Speaker 1: house and in with me in Arlington, Texas. We didn't
- 18:05Speaker 1: have money for movers and didn't have a vehicle big
- 18:07Speaker 1: enough to really move stuff. So we borrowed the ninety
- 18:13Speaker 1: two point five kgps workstation van. Awesome had a completely
- 18:21Speaker 1: empty it was completely empty cargo van behind the two
- 18:25Speaker 1: front seats, so we filled that bad boy up. We
- 18:27Speaker 1: didn't even use boxes. We used trash bags to move
- 18:29Speaker 1: most of the stuff. Wow, that's how, that's how white trash.
- 18:34Speaker 1: That That first big move was in my life. And
- 18:39Speaker 1: I had the key to that van for a number
- 18:42Speaker 1: of years, even after I didn't work at that station.
- 18:45Speaker 1: But I returned the key when I went back to
- 18:46Speaker 1: work at iHeartRadio and the van was still there and
- 18:49Speaker 1: I still had the key. I just put it right
- 18:51Speaker 1: back in the console as if it never left. That's
- 18:55Speaker 1: been there the whole time. Yeah, I didn't. Guys didn't
- 18:57Speaker 1: look hard enough. It was there fault for still having
- 19:00Speaker 1: such an old ass van. Uh. But yeah, no, moving sucks.
- 19:06Speaker 1: I'd ask if you need any help, tray, but I
- 19:08Speaker 1: don't want to.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Oh.
- 19:11Speaker 3: There, there are there are two things. I believe you
- 19:14Speaker 3: get to a certain age in life that you should
- 19:16Speaker 3: never ask people to do help you move.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Take you to the airport.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Oh wait a minute, because uh, there was a time
- 19:25Speaker 1: not that long ago where you offered to take me in.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Offering is different than asking. I was afraid that there
- 19:34Speaker 1: was some sort of a test there, which no, because
- 19:36Speaker 1: I didn't have you do it.
- 19:37Speaker 2: No, no no.
- 19:38Speaker 3: If if I love you enough and you're a friend,
- 19:40Speaker 3: I will offer, but you should never.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Ask, right, gotcha? I can agree that your offer to
- 19:47Speaker 1: take me to the airport was more of an overture.
- 19:57Speaker 5: Just you're going to be in the basement soon. Get
- 20:02Speaker 5: those sears pants. I will help you move, I know,
- 20:11Speaker 5: I listen.
- 20:12Speaker 3: I hire movers again. You get to when you're in
- 20:18Speaker 3: your twenties and you're starting out and you have no money.
- 20:21Speaker 3: You It's something I think everyone said, Hey, ask your
- 20:25Speaker 3: buddies to help you move. Once you get to a
- 20:27Speaker 3: certain point, you're making money, you pay movers.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Like that's just. That's also why it's it's actually wise
- 20:35Speaker 1: to wait to buy a pickup until you're at least
- 20:38Speaker 1: in your mid thirties, because if you have a truck
- 20:41Speaker 1: in your twenties, you're every weekend, every weekend is already planned.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Mhm.
- 20:48Speaker 1: So I know, I know a pickup is cool, but
- 20:51Speaker 1: if you're smart, wait to buy it until you're much
- 20:53Speaker 1: older and you can tell people you move yourself. This
- 20:56Speaker 1: truck's from me. I can.
- 20:59Speaker 4: I can much for that. I got my blue pickup truck,
- 21:02Speaker 4: first pickup truck truck.
- 21:03Speaker 1: I ever owned. It would in two weeks.
- 21:08Speaker 4: People I hadn't heard from in months was like, amen'd
- 21:11Speaker 4: you go?
- 21:12Speaker 1: Man?
- 21:13Speaker 2: You get a truck. I'm Indian.
- 21:17Speaker 5: We don't own trucks, so it's not a good look
- 21:21Speaker 5: like we look like we stole it. If you see
- 21:26Speaker 5: an Indian guy in an F one fifty, uh no,
- 21:30Speaker 5: he's a Mexican dude.
- 21:32Speaker 2: That's what that is.
- 21:33Speaker 1: So if that's the case, then what does it look
- 21:35Speaker 1: like If you're helping Trey, a white guy move, and
- 21:37Speaker 1: you're walking around with his boxes, it.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Look like I'm robbing him nuts. He's letting me mary though.
- 21:52Speaker 1: He's going exploring. He's going to climb after us.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Oh, Tray, I'm gonna get you green boots.
- 21:58Speaker 1: It is a great opportunity though, like you said, trade,
- 22:01Speaker 1: it's a great opportunity to purge a bunch of stuff,
- 22:03Speaker 1: get rid of a bunch of stuff you don't need,
- 22:05Speaker 1: don't want any more, And honestly it saves you additional
- 22:09Speaker 1: moving costs. So like, I don't need that anymore, just
- 22:11Speaker 1: throw it off the balcony.
- 22:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I wish I could do that, but I can't.
- 22:17Speaker 3: But yeah, no, I'm actually I found movers that they're
- 22:22Speaker 3: moving me and then hauling stuff away for me.
- 22:25Speaker 1: So oh nice. Yeah, that's such a good feeling.
- 22:29Speaker 5: What's the most expensive thing you threw away? I mean
- 22:34Speaker 5: at one point, I mean, my sofa is like twenty
- 22:37Speaker 5: five years old. When I first thought it, it was
- 22:40Speaker 5: like two thousand dollars and that was twenty five years ago.
- 22:44Speaker 5: But now it's just worn out pos.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Slenty five year old couch. You know, that thing has
- 22:53Speaker 1: seen some stuff.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Things.
- 22:57Speaker 3: It's the twenty five year old my big comfy chair
- 22:59Speaker 3: that that I have parting ways with that I have
- 23:02Speaker 3: that that is, uh, that has been well used over
- 23:06Speaker 3: many many years.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I'm not even gonna make fun of that, because I
- 23:09Speaker 1: understand what it's like getting getting rid of your comfy
- 23:12Speaker 1: chair as a man. I don't think that's something that
- 23:14Speaker 1: women understand. I don't care if that's you know, it's
- 23:16Speaker 1: twenty first century and that comes across as sexist or whatever.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I just don't think that women truly appreciate a really
- 23:23Speaker 1: amazing comfy chair.
- 23:25Speaker 5: I think a few women have portray just to look
- 23:29Speaker 5: on his face. They've they've appreciated it.
- 23:31Speaker 1: That's for different reasons. I imagine that handle on the
- 23:36Speaker 1: side is warning the f out.

- 24:40Speaker 1: been a while, Kaylin from pausing the city. Yay, have
- 24:46Speaker 1: you been it's been a while. Have we talked to
- 24:47Speaker 1: you yet this year? No, have we talked to you
- 24:51Speaker 1: since you had the kiddo?
- 24:52Speaker 10: No?
- 24:54Speaker 2: Are you in your bathroom right now?
- 24:55Speaker 1: With what's what the echo?
- 24:57Speaker 11: I am thinking coffee?
- 25:03Speaker 1: I don't need to know what's going on down there. No, no, no, no,
- 25:08Speaker 1: it's fine. Congratulations on the kiddoh, by the way, beautiful,
- 25:16Speaker 1: thank you.
- 25:16Speaker 11: Yeah, I think he's super cute. I'm biased, though.
- 25:20Speaker 1: As you should be. Lucky for you, the kid actually
- 25:24Speaker 1: is cute. Otherwise it would be awkward in here, because look,
- 25:28Speaker 1: there's five of us in here right now, and we're
- 25:31Speaker 1: all old enough to know. We're all old enough to
- 25:33Speaker 1: see to have seen an ugly baby. Oh yeah, and
- 25:39Speaker 1: I'm not very good at hiding my immediate frightened reaction
- 25:42Speaker 1: of an ugly baby me either.
- 25:47Speaker 2: I said this once. I was like, I hope she
- 25:49Speaker 2: grows into her face. Did she?
- 25:57Speaker 5: No, it's still ugly.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Let's try and.
- 26:06Speaker 12: He has to grow into his head because his head
- 26:10Speaker 12: is so big. Trying to get it through clothes is
- 26:13Speaker 12: a tour.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Yeah, he's got a noggin section.
- 26:19Speaker 1: Oh right where we were going, Probably because she saw
- 26:24Speaker 1: my face and trays uh huh, yeah, it's what I
- 26:28Speaker 1: was congratulations, thank you. Is that one of those things
- 26:33Speaker 1: I'm not to dig into your personal business too much? Uh?
- 26:36Speaker 1: But is that something that you had planned ahead of time?
- 26:39Speaker 1: Or did you go in for a sonogram and you
- 26:41Speaker 1: saw the size of that head, and then you said
- 26:43Speaker 1: take you cut it out?
- 26:45Speaker 12: Uh No, wan to be induced, and they gave me
- 26:50Speaker 12: all the drugs and they didn't work. So then my
- 26:53Speaker 12: water spontaneously burst and I didn't even wake up my husband.
- 27:00Speaker 12: I just called the nurse and he's like, what are
- 27:01Speaker 12: you doing? And he turned sideways when that happened. So
- 27:07Speaker 12: I ended up in an emergency C section. So that's fine.
- 27:10Speaker 12: It was interesting. It's really I mean, it is good drugs,
- 27:13Speaker 12: but they you just can't feel anything from the waist down.
- 27:17Speaker 11: You can't walk or anything.
- 27:21Speaker 12: The miracle of childbirth, no, not something to do with
- 27:26Speaker 12: stage fright.
- 27:30Speaker 1: That's again, probably what the drugs are good for. All right,
- 27:33Speaker 1: let's stop talking about childbirth because there's a bunch of
- 27:35Speaker 1: dudes in here and we feel weird about it. Let's
- 27:37Speaker 1: talk about puppies. Puppies and dogs that need to be
- 27:40Speaker 1: rescued and fostered and put into loving homes. Kaelin from
- 27:43Speaker 1: Pausing the City, North Texas's only all volunteer, no kill
- 27:51Speaker 1: animal rescue group. Boom, got it. There we go pausing
- 27:54Speaker 1: the city the website, Pausingthecity dot org. If you're interested
- 27:57Speaker 1: in fostering or adopting a lovely dog? What do you
- 28:01Speaker 1: have for us from pausing the city today?
- 28:03Speaker 12: So I actually wasn't going to talk about a particular
- 28:06Speaker 12: dog today.
- 28:09Speaker 11: I obviously still go check out who we have available.
- 28:13Speaker 11: We have some.
- 28:15Speaker 12: Fresh faces as well as something that you're you know,
- 28:17Speaker 12: probably well acquainted with if you've gone to our page.
- 28:20Speaker 12: Like Gavin it we've talked about before he got a haircut.
- 28:24Speaker 12: Holy crap, that's a cute face that was under all
- 28:26Speaker 12: that fur. So go and check them out more.
- 28:30Speaker 11: We have some events.
- 28:31Speaker 12: Going on, so you know, as we've been doing for
- 28:36Speaker 12: the last year, the third Saturday of every month, we're
- 28:41Speaker 12: meeting at Three Nations Brewing, So March twenty ninth is
- 28:46Speaker 12: when it is this month we're doing one to five
- 28:49Speaker 12: pups and pints.
- 28:50Speaker 11: Make sure to go check it out.
- 28:52Speaker 12: I was actually just looking at their seasonal and rotator beers.
- 28:56Speaker 11: They look phenomenal. They have everything.
- 29:01Speaker 12: From you know, I pas to they have like a
- 29:07Speaker 12: blood orange logger. They've got a Kremberly Imperial milk stout.
- 29:14Speaker 12: There's all sorts of stuff. It sounds fantastic. So now
- 29:17Speaker 12: that I can have one, I'm going to try.
- 29:19Speaker 11: To make it to us.
- 29:21Speaker 1: There you go. So you've got ups and pints for
- 29:23Speaker 1: a pause in the city at Three Nations Brewing. Is
- 29:26Speaker 1: that at the Carrollton location.
- 29:28Speaker 12: Yes, Yeah, we'll be at the Carlton location every third Saturday.
- 29:32Speaker 12: If you ever forget what it is, just check out
- 29:34Speaker 12: their website. They're pretty good at keeping it up to
- 29:37Speaker 12: date for us.
- 29:41Speaker 11: Now.
- 29:41Speaker 12: Also, we're back to our April schedule for Burmafest.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Okay, iponed it last year.
- 29:49Speaker 12: To June, so we're back to April because that's I
- 29:52Speaker 12: believe it is. Mar's birthday was in.
- 29:53Speaker 1: April, so, Okay, in honor Furmafest, in honor of one
- 29:58Speaker 1: of one of a paws in the city, these most
- 30:00Speaker 1: heralded volunteers and one end president Mark Vernam, a longtime
- 30:06Speaker 1: friend of ours here inside the Treehouse show who passed
- 30:10Speaker 1: away a few years ago. And now they put on
- 30:13Speaker 1: a metal rock show around the Dallas area in honor
- 30:18Speaker 1: of Mark Verma and a benefits pause in this city.
- 30:22Speaker 12: Yeah, so it's gonna be a little bit different this
- 30:23Speaker 12: year we're doing we're kind of going back to what
- 30:27Speaker 12: they did the first year of it is kind of
- 30:30Speaker 12: an all day event in the deep Ballum area. But
- 30:35Speaker 12: we are still going to be doing the pre party
- 30:37Speaker 12: at Three Nations Brewing and that starts at one o'clock.
- 30:42Speaker 11: This is April.
- 30:46Speaker 12: Twenty six, so it's able twenty since starting at Three Nations.
- 30:54Speaker 11: If you want to take your dogs, you absolutely can.
- 30:58Speaker 11: We would say, unless it's a service animal, you probably
- 31:00Speaker 11: don't want.
- 31:01Speaker 12: To take them to the other venues. But it will
- 31:05Speaker 12: continue at Reno's Chop Shop and at Trees. We have
- 31:11Speaker 12: some familiar faces going to be on stage this year.
- 31:14Speaker 12: So last year we had Vain and Sanction that were amazing.
- 31:19Speaker 11: They're going to be there again. Anybody I knew Mark
- 31:24Speaker 11: for I don't know thirteen years or so.
- 31:27Speaker 12: I had no idea he actually used to manage Sanction,
- 31:31Speaker 12: so he was a band manager for them, and.
- 31:34Speaker 11: They're they're still playing, they're still doing gigs and honoring
- 31:36Speaker 11: him with that.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Mark is really good about squirreling his way into people's lives.
- 31:42Speaker 12: I imagine they met him in a similar situation that
- 31:45Speaker 12: most of us did, somewhere at.
- 31:47Speaker 1: A bar a blood. I'm just thinking of someone else.
- 31:57Speaker 12: But yeah, So there's going to be some bands that,
- 32:01Speaker 12: especially if you go if you used to.
- 32:04Speaker 11: Go to Green room, chuse anything like that. You may
- 32:10Speaker 11: know some of these bands.
- 32:11Speaker 12: I have seen many of these bands and they put
- 32:14Speaker 12: on an amazing show. So like low Side, their drummer
- 32:20Speaker 12: used to be part of the Chris Cornell experience. He's amazing,
- 32:25Speaker 12: and they're all just really nice people in general. So
- 32:28Speaker 12: pop in, have a beer, listen to great live music,
- 32:31Speaker 12: and you know, help us save some more puppies.
- 32:34Speaker 2: There you go.
- 32:34Speaker 1: That's for Pause in the City or you got Pups
- 32:37Speaker 1: and Pints coming up in a couple of weeks, So
- 32:42Speaker 1: March twenty ninth, I think you said, right, No.
- 32:45Speaker 11: April twenty six.
- 32:46Speaker 12: Sorry, March twenty ninth is Pups and Pints right, Oh sorry,
- 32:52Speaker 12: Vermifest is April twenty six.

- 34:11Speaker 1: have you here as part of the All Kill well,
- 34:14Speaker 1: that's a horrible organization. Calen as a volunteer of the
- 34:20Speaker 1: all volunteer animal rescue group Pause in the City, Trey
- 34:24Speaker 1: is a very important question to ask you.
- 34:26Speaker 3: Yeah, Kaylin, I don't know if you're aware, but we've
- 34:32Speaker 3: started our own fundraiser. We have a special cause here
- 34:35Speaker 3: at the Treehouse.
- 34:38Speaker 2: And yeah, it's for Shaky Raj And can we set
- 34:44Speaker 2: up a booth at your event?
- 34:48Speaker 3: I mean, I know, maybe We can't take him into
- 34:49Speaker 3: bars anymore, but you know outside.
- 34:54Speaker 5: I can still go into bars. And also no one
- 34:57Speaker 5: has sent eighteen dollars.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Why we have to continue to promote it. Yeah, happened,
- 35:03Speaker 1: doesn't happen immediately. You have to convince people that it's
- 35:06Speaker 1: a legitimate organization. Their hard dollars.
- 35:10Speaker 3: I mean what what a set him out front and
- 35:12Speaker 3: put a beer in his hand and it will shake
- 35:13Speaker 3: really bad and people will feel bad for him.
- 35:16Speaker 1: That's right, looking him. You can't even drink it all.
- 35:18Speaker 5: Yeah, you put half a beer in my hand, not
- 35:22Speaker 5: a full beer, because that'll just go.
- 35:24Speaker 3: You're eighteen, you're eighteen dollars. Can help find a helper
- 35:29Speaker 3: to hold his beer for.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Him, Kaylen.
- 35:31Speaker 1: In case you've missed, it shows uh Raj has a
- 35:35Speaker 1: neurological conditioned disease syndrome thing the motor neuron disorder or disease.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Raj, it's neurological disorder.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Neurological disorder that causes him to shake. It's not Parkinson's,
- 35:49Speaker 1: but it's like.
- 35:50Speaker 2: Parkinson's in the Parian family. It's very serious. Yeah, it's
- 35:56Speaker 2: just one shaky hand that's up.
- 35:58Speaker 1: You're killing You're killing it's very so we think there's
- 36:03Speaker 1: we think there's an opportunity for a collaboration between the
- 36:07Speaker 1: Shaky Raj and the Shaky Raj organization and Pause in
- 36:12Speaker 1: the city.
- 36:17Speaker 11: Maybe one of our groom.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Partner, Oh yeah, he'd needs a good groom.
- 36:27Speaker 5: My nails the other day and didn't lose a finger.
- 36:29Speaker 5: It was it was amazing.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Yees.
- 36:32Speaker 11: Yeah, you've been doing that for how many years?
- 36:38Speaker 1: You gotta keep them clean because no one wants to
- 36:40Speaker 1: No one wants to take in a dirty shaky rush.
- 36:42Speaker 3: I mean at some point point you're gonna look like
- 36:44Speaker 3: the woman and airplane trying to put makeup on r.
- 36:54Speaker 1: But I mean, while it will be sad, it will
- 36:56Speaker 1: also be really good for fundraising.
- 36:59Speaker 5: Yes, yes, I want to see how many eighteen dollars
- 37:03Speaker 5: we can raise.
- 37:06Speaker 1: For eighteen Just eighteen dollars a month.
- 37:09Speaker 2: That's it. I don't know how we came up with
- 37:12Speaker 2: this number, but it's.
- 37:13Speaker 11: Eighteen at all are eighteen dollars a month? How have
- 37:15Speaker 11: you seen any of these commercials?
- 37:17Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 37:18Speaker 5: No, I just watched the one with the kid in
- 37:20Speaker 5: the wheelchair with no teeth with the adorable blanket.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Uh okay, Yeah, they're Shriners.
- 37:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to steal that kid.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Who doesn't.
- 37:29Speaker 2: I don't think he's.
- 37:31Speaker 11: Well, he's a little bit older. They keep using old commercials.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Well yeah, yeah, the kid you're talking about, it's like seventy.
- 37:41Speaker 11: Seventeen.
- 37:42Speaker 5: Yeh, yes, so eighteen dollars, you can help me. I
- 37:51Speaker 5: want to do sad face, but I can't because you
- 37:53Speaker 5: guys are making me laugh.
- 37:54Speaker 3: But about for eighteen dollars, I'm thinking service monkey.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Please tell me you're talking about an actual service monkey
- 38:05Speaker 1: and not talking about not me.
- 38:07Speaker 3: Yeah, don't sit on Roger's shoulder.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Help him out, holder.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Maybe the monkey can have the little Schrinder's hat on,
- 38:24Speaker 1: so help More.

- 39:22Speaker 1: on Air dot com. Oh, speaking of hot girls in love,
- 39:35Speaker 1: I noticed that Jerry was able to get a compliment
- 39:38Speaker 1: from Kaylin about his very manly, healthy beard and ran away.
- 39:44Speaker 1: He took his compliment and left.
- 39:47Speaker 2: It's a goatee. It's not a beard. This is a
- 39:49Speaker 2: beard I shaved this morning, and you're not.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Eating because we got him those safety razors.
- 40:00Speaker 11: Cut yourself.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, when you've got the shaky Raj neurological disease,
- 40:06Speaker 1: it's important that you're eighteen dollars a month donated to
- 40:09Speaker 1: the organization goes to safety razors so Raj can shave
- 40:13Speaker 1: himself because it's important. It's important to maintain the semblance
- 40:19Speaker 1: of of.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Think about the number of people that would subscribe to
- 40:24Speaker 3: watch a service monkey shave.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Roger I would pay to watch a service monkey shave.
- 40:36Speaker 1: There's a genius idea.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Does it have a does it have a diaper on?
- 40:44Speaker 2: It's gotta have the diaper and the hat that we're
- 40:47Speaker 2: not gonna have a monkey crapoge.
- 40:50Speaker 1: You've got it back up at least not for free.
- 40:52Speaker 2: That'd be pay per view. That'll be that's starring Dale.
- 40:57Speaker 1: That's no. I think it makes sense, like if we're
- 41:02Speaker 1: going to have this, if we're going to have this
- 41:04Speaker 1: very important organization, yes, and to make sure that your
- 41:08Speaker 1: eighteen dollars a month goes to help Raj and his
- 41:11Speaker 1: Shaky Raj syndrome. It's important that he maintained some individual freedoms,
- 41:20Speaker 1: even if they're not real. But that includes your eighteen
- 41:24Speaker 1: dollars will go towards a safety raisors so he can
- 41:26Speaker 1: pretend to shave himself and.
- 41:28Speaker 2: I'll send you cookies and we'll just name the organization
- 41:30Speaker 2: Shake and Bake.
- 41:32Speaker 1: I think that'll be our annual bake sale. But yeah,
- 41:41Speaker 1: I mean so, it's important that you still do things
- 41:43Speaker 1: for yourselves. You get the safety raiser. That's part of
- 41:45Speaker 1: what eighteen dollars a month can go towards.
- 41:47Speaker 2: And I eat like a big boy too, so because
- 41:51Speaker 2: you do.
- 41:53Speaker 11: I thought we were talking about tzipis.
- 41:54Speaker 2: For the monkey, not oh, they're for me.
- 41:59Speaker 1: It starts two different Yeah, then gets ideas that looks
