- 0:02Speaker 1: You're listening to this Spunky Spirit podcast where intuition meets
- 0:06Speaker 1: real life. Hello and welcome to this episode of Spunky Spirit.
- 0:12Speaker 1: I am psychic medium. Carry mugs and this week we
- 0:15Speaker 1: are going to talk about Hawaii so and how it
- 0:19Speaker 1: affected me and what lessons it taught me. So the
- 0:26Speaker 1: first thing that you ever do when you go to
- 0:30Speaker 1: any type of paranormal investigation or land is very sacred,
- 0:35Speaker 1: and so you need to fill the land land. It
- 0:37Speaker 1: comes up in readings all the time when people own lands.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Land is very sacred. Land is very I mean you
- 0:45Speaker 1: can tell a lot about the land you're on. I
- 0:48Speaker 1: mean just remember the movie Poltergeist when their house was
- 0:51Speaker 1: on an ancient burial ground, and so there's some truth
- 0:55Speaker 1: to that. So land is very sacred and that's why
- 1:00Speaker 1: in Scotland there was a completely different feeling than Hawaii.
- 1:03Speaker 1: And when I when we were going to Hawaii, I
- 1:06Speaker 1: went with a group of friends and clients and they said,
- 1:12Speaker 1: when you land, you feel it. You feel the difference,
- 1:15Speaker 1: like even when you land. As soon as you land,
- 1:17Speaker 1: you feel like a peace or a tranquil And I
- 1:22Speaker 1: have to admit that I did. At first, I thought,
- 1:24Speaker 1: oh no, like that's just but it is. It feels different,
- 1:27Speaker 1: and there were birds in the airport like it was
- 1:30Speaker 1: just a majestic kind of peaceful feeling, and it was
- 1:35Speaker 1: crazy the lessons that I took from Hawaii or I
- 1:40Speaker 1: pulled from Hawaii, and so I kind of wanted to
- 1:44Speaker 1: talk about that because in Scotland it felt ancient and
- 1:47Speaker 1: it felt like wisdom and knowledge, and although Hawaii felt agent,
- 1:53Speaker 1: it also felt very peaceful, very tranquil, and very knowledgeable.
- 1:58Speaker 1: And so when we first got there, it was just
- 2:03Speaker 1: kind of like a little The people that I were
- 2:05Speaker 1: with were so awesome and they were so excited, and
- 2:08Speaker 1: they played the Hawaii Friday song and it was it
- 2:11Speaker 1: was just kind of an amazing experience. You could tell
- 2:14Speaker 1: that they were happy to be there, and that could
- 2:16Speaker 1: have been a lot of it, but I don't think so.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I think a lot of it was the land too,
- 2:21Speaker 1: and you could feel something like the enery also it
- 2:26Speaker 1: felt ancient, but it also felt different like the ocean.
- 2:30Speaker 1: You could just even if I hadn't seen the ocean yet,
- 2:32Speaker 1: it just felt alive. It just felt like the land
- 2:35Speaker 1: itself had and which is true about anything, like the
- 2:38Speaker 1: land itself has this own vibration or own their own aliveness,
- 2:43Speaker 1: or like it's almost like its own person. And so
- 2:46Speaker 1: I loved that about the different places. They were so
- 2:48Speaker 1: completely different, but also so very wise and ancient. And
- 2:53Speaker 1: so the first day we got there, we went straight
- 2:57Speaker 1: to the hotel, well the place that we were, and
- 3:00Speaker 1: then the next day is when we kind of started
- 3:06Speaker 1: to roam around and see the different things. And so
- 3:09Speaker 1: I'm going to kind of explain it. The first the
- 3:11Speaker 1: things that made the difference to me were one, the ocean.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Two And I've seen the ocean before because I've seen
- 3:16Speaker 1: it in North Carolina, but this Hawaii ocean has a
- 3:19Speaker 1: different feel to it. The whales and the turtles, the
- 3:22Speaker 1: friendships and the laughter. Those are the things that made
- 3:26Speaker 1: the biggest impact on me and kind of taught me
- 3:29Speaker 1: how to slow down, or was trying to tell me
- 3:32Speaker 1: to slow down, because I've been going, going, going, going,
- 3:36Speaker 1: and doing one thing after another and it just felt
- 3:38Speaker 1: like it was so overwhelming or overstimulating, and I could
- 3:42Speaker 1: feel the stress mounting, not just with work but with family.
- 3:46Speaker 1: And last year was a big year because I had
- 3:50Speaker 1: I think I had like three or four readings every day,
- 3:53Speaker 1: and I couldn't cut back and tell my intel, I
- 3:56Speaker 1: got through all the readings until my wait list got slower.
- 4:00Speaker 1: So this year, I'm I'm cut back on the readings.
- 4:02Speaker 1: My wait list is only three months now instead of
- 4:05Speaker 1: a year, which is awesome, so that helps too. So
- 4:08Speaker 1: it's kind of taught me. I think Hawaii reminded me
- 4:12Speaker 1: to slow down, which was great because it was the
- 4:15Speaker 1: beginning of the year and I didn't realize what kind
- 4:18Speaker 1: of a shit show this year was going to be,
- 4:20Speaker 1: just at the very beginning, not only for a collective
- 4:23Speaker 1: but for just individual stuff. And I mean, this year
- 4:28Speaker 1: took off like took off running, and so it was
- 4:32Speaker 1: a good reminder from spirit in Hawaii to slow down
- 4:36Speaker 1: and just like kind of lean into it. You can't
- 4:41Speaker 1: stop it from happening. You can't stop I mean, you
- 4:43Speaker 1: can make choices and stuff, but you can't stop your reaction.
- 4:47Speaker 1: I mean you can you can handle your reactions to
- 4:50Speaker 1: certain things. You can't stop certain certain things are happening,
- 4:53Speaker 1: but your reaction and how you handle them can be
- 4:56Speaker 1: like a bomb tree. You can bend and you can
- 4:59Speaker 1: make you can be bendable and just know that you're
- 5:03Speaker 1: in a bounce back up. So the ocean. The thing
- 5:07Speaker 1: I loved about the ocean is that one it felt huge,
- 5:09Speaker 1: it felt bigger. Then it felt like the ocean makes
- 5:14Speaker 1: it reminds you you have really no control. You have
- 5:17Speaker 1: no control. You can stand in the ocean and everything
- 5:19Speaker 1: can be calm and peaceful, and then all of a
- 5:21Speaker 1: sudden a wave can come and just knock you on
- 5:24Speaker 1: your ass. That's what the ocean. And the ocean is
- 5:28Speaker 1: so big, like it's bigger than you. It's bigger. Life
- 5:31Speaker 1: is bigger than your tiny little bubble. Like you think
- 5:34Speaker 1: that in your bubble or in your space that things
- 5:37Speaker 1: seem so hard and things seem so crazy, But then
- 5:40Speaker 1: you look at the ocean and how big it is
- 5:42Speaker 1: on this big rock that keeps turning in a galaxy
- 5:46Speaker 1: that's so huge. Not that your problems don't matter, but
- 5:51Speaker 1: they're kind of you know, they can be small and
- 5:53Speaker 1: sometimes they can be really big. That's the thing. They
- 5:55Speaker 1: feel overwhelming to us and an unsurmountable to us. But
- 5:59Speaker 1: in the scheme of things, some of the things that
- 6:02Speaker 1: we stress about are some of the things that we
- 6:04Speaker 1: have issues with can be such a small thing and
- 6:07Speaker 1: some of them are big, but some of them can
- 6:09Speaker 1: be pretty small and so you kind of have to
- 6:10Speaker 1: navigate through that and also to the ocean taught me
- 6:15Speaker 1: to be natural, to just let things happen, like don't push,
- 6:18Speaker 1: don't force, don't don't force things to happen. It just
- 6:22Speaker 1: Hawaii works naturally. It just has this rhythm to it,
- 6:25Speaker 1: It just has this sacredness to it, and it just
- 6:29Speaker 1: does like part of a natural You just kind of
- 6:31Speaker 1: have to. I mean, you can have goals and you
- 6:33Speaker 1: can have you know, time that you want to reach
- 6:37Speaker 1: those goals, but you can also just kind of surrender
- 6:40Speaker 1: to it. And that's what the ocean reminds me of,
- 6:42Speaker 1: is just surrendering. So a lot of times when I
- 6:44Speaker 1: teach about manifestation, I teach that you create a goal,
- 6:48Speaker 1: but you always still have to let go of the
- 6:49Speaker 1: how like you like me, I create a goal and
- 6:52Speaker 1: I think this is how I'm going to get there.
- 6:54Speaker 1: In fact, you know, I was just taught today that I,
- 6:58Speaker 1: you know, was thinking about abundance and I'm always trying
- 7:00Speaker 1: to manifest abundance and gratitude, and I was thinking the
- 7:04Speaker 1: abundance or gratitude could only come through me or through
- 7:07Speaker 1: my side. And my husband had a really awesome experience
- 7:11Speaker 1: just a couple just today actually about abundance, and the
- 7:15Speaker 1: abundance came through that way, and abundance doesn't always have
- 7:17Speaker 1: to be material or money. And so the ocean kind
- 7:21Speaker 1: of just taught me to be calm and to let
- 7:24Speaker 1: things happen naturally and not to force. And it's so
- 7:29Speaker 1: crazy because in life, when you're doing different things, you
- 7:31Speaker 1: have different lessons. Like last time when I went to
- 7:33Speaker 1: North Carolina and we saw the baby turtles, we saw
- 7:36Speaker 1: the eggs hatch, and we saw the turtles go towards
- 7:40Speaker 1: the ocean and we couldn't help them and they just
- 7:42Speaker 1: had to follow the light. And I thought, that's how
- 7:44Speaker 1: I am with my children. I have to just let
- 7:46Speaker 1: them do their own thing. I have to get out
- 7:48Speaker 1: of their way because sometimes if I try to help them,
- 7:50Speaker 1: it makes it worse. And so it's crazy how spirit
- 7:55Speaker 1: works different things at different times, like Scotland taught me
- 7:58Speaker 1: you know ancient and why and ancestry is so important
- 8:02Speaker 1: and your ancestors are so with you all the time,
- 8:06Speaker 1: and that even like negative not negative but scary stuff
- 8:11Speaker 1: or can be a good thing. Like spirits just want
- 8:14Speaker 1: to tell their stories. And Hawaii kind of taught me
- 8:17Speaker 1: that the earth and spirit like to move at their
- 8:20Speaker 1: own pace, no matter how much you want to rush
- 8:22Speaker 1: things or no more you know how you want to
- 8:24Speaker 1: do things. Sometimes spirit has its own agenda, just like
- 8:28Speaker 1: sometimes when you push, push, push, and then all of
- 8:31Speaker 1: a sudden you fall sick, it's because Spirit's like we
- 8:33Speaker 1: told you, we told you to slow down, and you didn't.
- 8:35Speaker 1: And so I love how the ocean has a rhythm
- 8:39Speaker 1: and it's not an urgency. And if you disrespect the ocean,
- 8:47Speaker 1: you have I mean, it can knock you down on
- 8:49Speaker 1: your feet, it can knock you flat on your butt.
- 8:51Speaker 1: So it's kind of like spirit. The ocean reminds me
- 8:55Speaker 1: of spirit. It's bigger than you know, and it controls
- 8:59Speaker 1: you have control, but you don't. And it can be
- 9:02Speaker 1: very calming one minute and very very chaotic the next.
- 9:06Speaker 1: There were days when it was very calming and very awesome.
- 9:09Speaker 1: We rode water bikes on but that day was windy,
- 9:13Speaker 1: and so sometimes when it's windy, it causes a lot
- 9:17Speaker 1: of waves and chaos and so to kind of nocku
- 9:20Speaker 1: back on your on your butt. So that's kind of
- 9:22Speaker 1: how spirit is. It's very very natural, it's very very rhythmatic,
- 9:28Speaker 1: but sometimes it can be a little bit chaotic, and
- 9:31Speaker 1: and that's okay because you just got to go with
- 9:33Speaker 1: the flow, go with the waves, go with the natural
- 9:36Speaker 1: set of things. Right, So I thought that was kind
- 9:39Speaker 1: of cool. Sometimes you can push yourself too hard and
- 9:43Speaker 1: it can make you, it can make you kind of pause.
- 9:46Speaker 1: And that's what the ocean did. And I love the
- 9:48Speaker 1: analogy of that, the that we're all part of the ocean. Right,
- 9:51Speaker 1: We're all that drop in the ocean. It's like the collective.
- 9:54Speaker 1: We're this big ocean and we are a small part
- 9:57Speaker 1: of that, but we still exist. If our drop of
- 10:00Speaker 1: water drops into the ocean, we still exist. But we're
- 10:03Speaker 1: part of the collective. So it reminded me that not
- 10:06Speaker 1: only are we singular, but we're part of a collective,
- 10:09Speaker 1: which was kind of a cool lesson because when we
- 10:11Speaker 1: got back from Hawaii it was kind of a shitshell
- 10:14Speaker 1: for the collective. Right. So the turtles, the turtles, Now,
- 10:19Speaker 1: every time I saw a turtle, they were sleeping, which
- 10:22Speaker 1: reminded me that sleeping is very important, so important, and
- 10:26Speaker 1: sometimes rest is the most important part of the growth. Right.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Turtles are like they travel for miles and miles and
- 10:33Speaker 1: miles and then they rest, and rest is the most
- 10:36Speaker 1: important part of the growth, and sometimes we don't think so.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Sometimes we think we have to push, push, push, push,
- 10:42Speaker 1: and sometimes the rest is where it kind of all
- 10:47Speaker 1: you know, that's where it kind of all catches up.
- 10:49Speaker 1: And I've noticed in my life that that's what happens
- 10:52Speaker 1: a lot, like I push, push and push, and then
- 10:54Speaker 1: I'm finally like, Okay, I'm just so tired, or I
- 10:56Speaker 1: get sick or something happens, and then that's when the
- 10:58Speaker 1: magic happens is when I'm resting in the rest period.
- 11:02Speaker 1: So I was just talking to one of my a
- 11:05Speaker 1: friend of mine who's also a medium, and he is
- 11:08Speaker 1: doing a very very strenuous what is it not tour?
- 11:14Speaker 1: He's doing a very stranger stour. He just wrote a book.
- 11:17Speaker 1: His name is Travis. He's awesome. I'm probably going to
- 11:19Speaker 1: try and see if he can come on the podcast
- 11:20Speaker 1: one time. But he said this time last year was
- 11:23Speaker 1: different because he just pushed and pushed and pushed, and
- 11:25Speaker 1: this year he actually he put he scheduled some time
- 11:29Speaker 1: to rest. This year he's scheduled time to rest, which
- 11:32Speaker 1: was like the biggest, the biggest thing for him. So
- 11:35Speaker 1: I think it's kind of important that he's scheduled time
- 11:37Speaker 1: for rest, and I think that that's what Spirit was
- 11:39Speaker 1: trying to tell me. And the spirits were just I mean,
- 11:42Speaker 1: the turtles just seemed so calm, and they were all
- 11:45Speaker 1: together like another collective thing, right, Like they all knew
- 11:49Speaker 1: where to go to sleep. They have this inner compass,
- 11:51Speaker 1: they know where to go. They just follow the ocean
- 11:53Speaker 1: and then they go back to where there's It's kind
- 11:55Speaker 1: of like they follow spirits. So the turtles are us
- 11:58Speaker 1: and the ocean is spirit, and they they swim in
- 12:02Speaker 1: the ocean, they go, they travel in the ocean, and
- 12:04Speaker 1: then they sleep all together in this big area, like
- 12:09Speaker 1: all together. It was just if you looked at the place,
- 12:11Speaker 1: it looked like a bunch of little rocks because it
- 12:13Speaker 1: was all the turtles. And I loved that too, because
- 12:17Speaker 1: they you know, the friendship, the camaraderie, which I'll talk
- 12:21Speaker 1: about it the kind of towards the end, but it
- 12:24Speaker 1: just was a great symbolism of you know, going with
- 12:27Speaker 1: the flow, letting the ocean take over sometimes and just
- 12:32Speaker 1: following your inner compass. And then at the end of
- 12:36Speaker 1: the day you meet with your people and you sleep
- 12:40Speaker 1: and you rest, and that's kind of what it is.
- 12:42Speaker 1: That's what it's all about, right. The slowness of the
- 12:46Speaker 1: turtles is intentional. It's not something they don't feel like
- 12:49Speaker 1: they have to hurry. In fact, multiple times my clients
- 12:52Speaker 1: that were with me were being like, this is remind
- 12:54Speaker 1: you everything, you're the turtle. In fact, we all went
- 12:56Speaker 1: and got well, we me and my husband went and
- 12:59Speaker 1: got turtle tattoo if you can see if you're watching this,
- 13:01Speaker 1: you can see it on the on the video. But
- 13:04Speaker 1: to remind me constantly. Mine even has the ocean inside
- 13:07Speaker 1: of the turtle. And it's to remind me that really
- 13:11Speaker 1: it's all up to spirit. It's I mean, we can
- 13:14Speaker 1: it's up to us too, because we create our lives.
- 13:16Speaker 1: But spirit is all about the timing, and spirit is
- 13:18Speaker 1: all about the how. And spirit is all about what
- 13:22Speaker 1: you know, taking your time doing and it's not a
- 13:25Speaker 1: rushed thing. And my friends kept bringing up, you know,
- 13:29Speaker 1: the tortoise and the hair, the race between the tortoise
- 13:32Speaker 1: and the hair, the you know, where the tortoise takes
- 13:35Speaker 1: his time and he's really slow, and he actually won
- 13:37Speaker 1: the race. And that's the thing. We are eternal, our
- 13:41Speaker 1: souls are eternal, So what's the hurry? What's the what's
- 13:44Speaker 1: the hurry? We have eternity to get this stuff done.
- 13:48Speaker 1: I'm not saying become lazy, but be patient with yourself
- 13:51Speaker 1: and give yourself some grace and slow down when you
- 13:54Speaker 1: need to. And which I need to be taking my
- 13:58Speaker 1: own advice because I'm the worst of this. In fact,
- 14:01Speaker 1: when we got back, I was like, Okay, I'm gonna
- 14:03Speaker 1: do this, this and this and then this, and Spare
- 14:05Speaker 1: was like, wait a second, You're going to take your
- 14:07Speaker 1: time doing this and this and this because we tried
- 14:09Speaker 1: to teach you when you were in Hawaii, and you
- 14:11Speaker 1: listen a little bit, but not a ton. So you
- 14:13Speaker 1: need to You need to listen because the success culture
- 14:18Speaker 1: pushes us. It pushes speed, It pushes hurry, hurry, hurry, go,
- 14:23Speaker 1: go go, and and that's not good for our immune system.
- 14:26Speaker 1: That's not good for our systems, our nervous system. Which
- 14:29Speaker 1: after Hawaii, I came back and learned a lot about
- 14:32Speaker 1: the nervous system and the anxiety, because sometimes our anxiety
- 14:36Speaker 1: can take take a hold of us until we're frozen.
- 14:39Speaker 1: And so the Hawaii reminded me that it's kind of
- 14:43Speaker 1: the Earth's nervous system, right the vegas nerve the piece.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Be peaceful, be centered, be grounded. And that's why I
- 14:50Speaker 1: love the ocean, because you can be part of spirit
- 14:52Speaker 1: and also be grounded because your feet touched this, touch
- 14:55Speaker 1: the ground and so and the water is so calming
- 14:59Speaker 1: and so being just a lot of people know that
- 15:02Speaker 1: once they even are by the ocean, that they can
- 15:05Speaker 1: just be grounded. So that's what I kind of love it.
- 15:08Speaker 1: So I love that the slowness reminds me of alignment.
- 15:11Speaker 1: It reminds you that you're in alignment with spirit, You're
- 15:15Speaker 1: in alignment with yourself, your in alignment with your purpose,
- 15:17Speaker 1: your in alignment with who you are. You're authentic. You're
- 15:20Speaker 1: not trying to be somebody that you're not. You're being
- 15:22Speaker 1: very authentic. And so I love that about the turtles.
- 15:26Speaker 1: And that's what the turtles kind of taught me is
- 15:27Speaker 1: that you can go slow. You have eternity, you can
- 15:31Speaker 1: do things slow, you don't. It's not a race of
- 15:33Speaker 1: who gets done. Who are you racing with? Like, that's
- 15:35Speaker 1: what I have to ask myself all the time, who
- 15:38Speaker 1: am I racing? Because we're all gonna get there, We're
- 15:40Speaker 1: all going to gig across the finish line. And as
- 15:43Speaker 1: long as you don't care if you win it, then
- 15:46Speaker 1: it's okay. I remember, you don't have to be the
- 15:50Speaker 1: most the best person at what you do to be successful.
- 15:53Speaker 1: You just have to be good at it. And you
- 15:55Speaker 1: have to keep showing up. And you can show up slow.
- 15:58Speaker 1: You don't have to show up. Percent of it is
- 16:00Speaker 1: about showing up, and you can show up slow. You
- 16:02Speaker 1: don't have to show up fast and go go go,
- 16:04Speaker 1: And I am a fast, go, go go person. And
- 16:07Speaker 1: so the turtle is my symbol this year to slow
- 16:11Speaker 1: the f down and to just really listen and to
- 16:14Speaker 1: be grounded. And I love that they surface when it's
- 16:19Speaker 1: time and they know where to go, and they listen
- 16:20Speaker 1: to their inner compass, and they listen to their sovereign.
- 16:23Speaker 1: They listen to themselves. They don't do what everybody else
- 16:26Speaker 1: is doing, even though they end up at the end
- 16:28Speaker 1: of the day in a collected environment together, they do
- 16:31Speaker 1: their own thing. They make their own decisions, and I
- 16:34Speaker 1: love that too. They trust their timing and they trust
- 16:37Speaker 1: their path and they let things unfold and they just
- 16:40Speaker 1: kind of go with the flow. And I love that.
- 16:43Speaker 1: So the whales so I have to talk about the
- 16:45Speaker 1: whales because they were so majestic. So there was something
- 16:48Speaker 1: peaceful about the turtles, but the whales were majestic. And
- 16:51Speaker 1: we went and we saw We went on a whale tour,
- 16:55Speaker 1: so we were in what you call whale soup, and
- 16:57Speaker 1: there were whales all over. I swear we were like, oh,
- 16:59Speaker 1: look there's a whale. Look there's a whale. And they're
- 17:02Speaker 1: so powerful and majestic, like you can hear it like
- 17:07Speaker 1: that's they even like put a microphone in the ocean
- 17:10Speaker 1: and you could hear the whales song like it was
- 17:12Speaker 1: beautiful and calming. And that's the everything kind of tore
- 17:15Speaker 1: back to call me like and peaceful. The whales, though
- 17:20Speaker 1: they were so majestic. They would show up, they would jump,
- 17:23Speaker 1: they would breach that you'd feed the whole body. But
- 17:26Speaker 1: what I loved about them too is they were fun.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Like they would they were having fun. It takes them
- 17:31Speaker 1: so much energy to jump and to be breached, and
- 17:36Speaker 1: it was amazing to watch them and you could feel
- 17:39Speaker 1: their energy. And even sometimes if they are far away,
- 17:42Speaker 1: if they would flip, sometimes they would do that. They
- 17:44Speaker 1: would flip their fins or their tails and you could
- 17:48Speaker 1: feel it, like you could pulstate it. Like the next
- 17:51Speaker 1: day after we went on the whale watch, me and
- 17:53Speaker 1: my husband went down to the ocean super early and
- 17:56Speaker 1: there were tons of wells there that we watched, and
- 17:59Speaker 1: you even though these ones were more far away, we
- 18:01Speaker 1: could still see them, but they were kind of farther away,
- 18:04Speaker 1: and they would they would flip, they would pound their
- 18:06Speaker 1: fins on the top of the ocean, and that's them
- 18:09Speaker 1: having fun. And you could hear it like a heartbeat
- 18:13Speaker 1: when you at the beach, when where we were at,
- 18:15Speaker 1: you could hear the the thump, the thump, and it
- 18:17Speaker 1: was so amazing, and it reminded me of the rhythm,
- 18:20Speaker 1: like it's like everything had a certain rhythm to it, right,
- 18:23Speaker 1: like everything was just this certain rhythm that Hawaii has,
- 18:27Speaker 1: this peaceful, tranquil rhythm. And so I loved that they
- 18:31Speaker 1: had a quiet power, a majestic power, and they would
- 18:36Speaker 1: surface when it was time and they didn't have to perform.
- 18:39Speaker 1: They were not performers, like they didn't do it because
- 18:41Speaker 1: we were there so as soon sometimes in fact, as
- 18:44Speaker 1: soon as we would see you well, the boat would
- 18:47Speaker 1: go towards the whales, and as soon as we got there,
- 18:49Speaker 1: they would stop. They didn't feel this need to perform.
- 18:53Speaker 1: They liked to be, They liked to make up their
- 18:55Speaker 1: own decisions. They like to do their own thing. They
- 18:57Speaker 1: didn't have to perform, and I love that it's about
- 19:00Speaker 1: peace and not performance. You don't have to perform for anybody.
- 19:03Speaker 1: You're not here to prove anything. Your intentions are just
- 19:06Speaker 1: to be pure, and so I loved that they were
- 19:09Speaker 1: just peaceful and majestic and they beat to their own drum.
- 19:14Speaker 1: They didn't care. They weren't there to perform for you,
- 19:18Speaker 1: and they just kind of trusted who they were and
- 19:21Speaker 1: why they were there. And that's another thing too. They
- 19:24Speaker 1: go there to I think, mate and eat because they
- 19:29Speaker 1: travel the ocean forever. And then they show up during
- 19:32Speaker 1: whale season because that's and that's a lot of times
- 19:35Speaker 1: we would see the babies and the mamas, and then
- 19:38Speaker 1: sometimes the males would show off. Now that's when they
- 19:40Speaker 1: would perform, is when they wanted to show off for
- 19:42Speaker 1: the for the females, which was awesome. But if you
- 19:46Speaker 1: have never seen a whale, they're also so big and
- 19:51Speaker 1: it's so like it just reminds you that there's so
- 19:54Speaker 1: much bigger things like we're there's so many neat things
- 19:58Speaker 1: that are so majestic and so bigger. And it also
- 20:01Speaker 1: reminded me too, there's probably so much other stuff in
- 20:03Speaker 1: that ocean that we have no clue of that there's
- 20:07Speaker 1: so much, Like I think they said eighty percent of
- 20:09Speaker 1: the ocean hasn't even been explored. Like that's crazy to me.
- 20:13Speaker 1: So I love that the Wills I think, you know,
- 20:16Speaker 1: my friends at the end were like, what's your favorite part?
- 20:18Speaker 1: And I don't think I had one. I think it
- 20:19Speaker 1: the whole experience as a whole. Every little thing that
- 20:23Speaker 1: happened just tied into a big just one big whole experience,
- 20:28Speaker 1: which was awesome. So and this is not a Hawaii thing,
- 20:33Speaker 1: this can but Hawaii reminded man, I'm gonna cry. Hawaii
- 20:38Speaker 1: reminded me how important laughter is and how important friendship
- 20:44Speaker 1: is if any of you are close to me, which
- 20:47Speaker 1: probably not because I don't get close to anybody. I
- 20:50Speaker 1: don't really have a lot of friends because I don't
- 20:53Speaker 1: I'm not gonna I'm not the most trustworthy person, and
- 20:57Speaker 1: I am so busy. I know I am not trustworthy.
- 21:01Speaker 1: I don't trust a lot of people my trust with
- 21:04Speaker 1: and I shouldn't say that. I just, you know, I've
- 21:07Speaker 1: been hurt a lot of times, so I just kind
- 21:09Speaker 1: of have this wall and I keep people at a distance,
- 21:11Speaker 1: which is fine for me. It's fine because I, you know,
- 21:14Speaker 1: I'm safe. That's that keeps me safe, and that's a
- 21:18Speaker 1: that's just what I do. And I know a lot
- 21:20Speaker 1: of people get frustrated that. But I'm also the type
- 21:22Speaker 1: of person too with friendships that I don't have to
- 21:25Speaker 1: talk to you for two every single day. I can
- 21:28Speaker 1: just talk to you two or three months later and
- 21:30Speaker 1: we pick up right where we left off. Because to me,
- 21:33Speaker 1: I love my friends and I love the lefter, but
- 21:35Speaker 1: I also love my family and I and I'm you know,
- 21:39Speaker 1: I do I. I like to be with my family
- 21:42Speaker 1: and I like to I and I am busy with
- 21:44Speaker 1: my business. That's just how it is. So a lot
- 21:46Speaker 1: of times I don't have a lot of time for friends.
- 21:49Speaker 1: And so this was important because my clients turned into friends,
- 21:58Speaker 1: which I'm super picky about. I'm really careful about it,
- 22:02Speaker 1: just because I don't I don't want to hurt anybody either.
- 22:05Speaker 1: And so but we laughed so much, like and laughter
- 22:11Speaker 1: is so good for you. Laughter is like the best medicine.
- 22:14Speaker 1: And I don't think I remember laughing that hard or
- 22:19Speaker 1: laughing like that in a really long time. And so
- 22:24Speaker 1: it was amazing. It was the most amazing. I mean,
- 22:27Speaker 1: I can't it's just I can't even explain it. It
- 22:29Speaker 1: grounded me. It brought me back to reality. It made
- 22:32Speaker 1: me realize that all this stuff work and all this
- 22:36Speaker 1: other worries that we have sometimes it's just fluff and
- 22:39Speaker 1: it doesn't really matter. And at the end of the day,
- 22:42Speaker 1: it is about your relationships, and it is about the friendships,
- 22:45Speaker 1: and it is about the laughter and the joy. And
- 22:48Speaker 1: so that really brought me back to what is important,
- 22:52Speaker 1: which also brings back the turtles and the ocean and
- 22:56Speaker 1: the whales, Like what's really important at the end of
- 22:59Speaker 1: my life. Am I going to say I did this
- 23:03Speaker 1: podcast and I traveled at this place and I did
- 23:06Speaker 1: this paranormal thing, or I'm going to say I had
- 23:09Speaker 1: amazing relationships and I met some amazing people. And I
- 23:14Speaker 1: think that that is I know that that's what's going
- 23:18Speaker 1: to matter. That's what matters at the end. And so
- 23:22Speaker 1: that's what Hawaii kind of taught me to. It turned
- 23:25Speaker 1: off work a little bit, and I mean I'm not
- 23:30Speaker 1: gonna lie. I probably still kept up a little bit
- 23:32Speaker 1: of a boundary, but it turned it off. It made
- 23:35Speaker 1: me release that boundary a little bit more. And the
- 23:38Speaker 1: friendships were just amazing, and the trust and the let
- 23:44Speaker 1: me let down my guard a little bit and then
- 23:49Speaker 1: and it let me be a little bit more open,
- 23:51Speaker 1: which is hard for me because it's vulnerable, right, It's
- 23:53Speaker 1: a vulnerable state. And so that's what Hawaii did for me.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Hawaii reminded me of what's important. Hawaii reminded me of
- 24:03Speaker 1: what's slow. And the volcano, I mean, every place that
- 24:07Speaker 1: has a volcano is so spiritual. And I told you
- 24:10Speaker 1: already in the Scotland in the Scotland episodes about how
- 24:12Speaker 1: we almost took a volcano rock home and then we
- 24:15Speaker 1: were told you weren't supposed to because the spirit gets mad.
- 24:18Speaker 1: I don't even remember the spirit of the volcano's name,
- 24:22Speaker 1: but it has its own. Hawaii reminds you of what's important.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Hawaii reminds you to slow down. And Hawaii reminds you
- 24:33Speaker 1: too remember who you are and to be authentic and
- 24:38Speaker 1: to not put on a performance, and to know that
- 24:41Speaker 1: you can go slow and you don't have to be
- 24:43Speaker 1: part of the rat race, and you don't have to
- 24:45Speaker 1: be part of the hustle, and you don't have to
- 24:47Speaker 1: be part of You can just ride the waves. You
- 24:51Speaker 1: can just be part of the ocean, and you can
- 24:54Speaker 1: be slow and that's okay. It doesn't have to happen overnight.
- 24:57Speaker 1: It doesn't happen fast, and sometimes you don't have to
- 25:01Speaker 1: prove yourself all the time, and sometimes spirit has to
- 25:05Speaker 1: slow you down because everything happens in divine timing. Right,
- 25:10Speaker 1: So I know you want something to happen right now,
- 25:12Speaker 1: or you want something to happen within two months, but
- 25:15Speaker 1: there's other people involved in that goal. It's not just you.
- 25:18Speaker 1: So let's say I want to write a book, which
- 25:20Speaker 1: is one of those goals. It's not just about me, right,
- 25:25Speaker 1: you think it is, because the book is I'm writing it,
- 25:28Speaker 1: and it's about my story, But it's about the other
- 25:31Speaker 1: people that are going to receive this story too, and
- 25:33Speaker 1: where are there going to be certain times in their lives.
- 25:35Speaker 1: So the divine timing just isn't part of you. Like
- 25:38Speaker 1: a lot of times in readings, people will be like, well,
- 25:40Speaker 1: when's my next relationship? It's not just about you, it's
- 25:43Speaker 1: about the other person. Involved in the relationship. Where is
- 25:45Speaker 1: that person right now? Are they still in a different
- 25:48Speaker 1: relationship that you then is not and they're not ready
- 25:51Speaker 1: for you to come into their life yet or because
- 25:53Speaker 1: that's what was with my husband now after my divorce,
- 25:57Speaker 1: I was, I will admit, I was like, well or
- 25:59Speaker 1: find other relationship and it took me a few years
- 26:02Speaker 1: because he wasn't ready yet. Part of that he was
- 26:04Speaker 1: still married, and so I found him at the exact
- 26:08Speaker 1: right time when it was divinely guided by both sides.
- 26:12Speaker 1: And so that's what Hawaii teach to you. It's it's
- 26:16Speaker 1: about divine timing. It's spirit has its own divine timing.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Your goals are great, and you create your own life
- 26:23Speaker 1: and you create your joy and you are your creator.
- 26:27Speaker 1: But spirit also plays a divine timing in that because
- 26:30Speaker 1: you also all of those goals that you create affect
- 26:33Speaker 1: other people too. So so the lesson of Hawaii isn't
- 26:39Speaker 1: something that you know you have to travel there to receive. Obviously,
- 26:42Speaker 1: you can learn these things through you know, just your
- 26:45Speaker 1: own stuff. But Hawaii is a good reminder. Hawaii reminded me.
- 26:50Speaker 1: I mean, I kind of knew all this stuff anyways,
- 26:53Speaker 1: but I didn't listen, and Hawaii forced me to listen.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Hawaii reminded me to listen. And it's a good thing
- 26:59Speaker 1: because when we get back from Hawaii, the collective kind
- 27:01Speaker 1: of turned into a shit show. And I had to
- 27:05Speaker 1: fall back on Hawaii to remember to remember those things
- 27:08Speaker 1: what's important. And then something's happened, deaths that reminded me
- 27:15Speaker 1: how important relationships are. And so spirit has a way
- 27:21Speaker 1: of teaching you things that you think you already know,
- 27:25Speaker 1: and you think you know it, but you have to
- 27:28Speaker 1: you have to live it again. And so Hawaii taught
- 27:32Speaker 1: that to me, to slow down and to remember who
- 27:37Speaker 1: I am, and to remember there's divine timing. There's no rush, yeah,
- 27:42Speaker 1: and there can be magic in the chaos, right because
- 27:47Speaker 1: there always can be. So if you have been to
- 27:52Speaker 1: Hawaii and had something waken in you, let me know
- 27:55Speaker 1: in DM me tell me because I think that would
- 27:57Speaker 1: be that would be fantastic and I would love to
- 27:59Speaker 1: tell your and I have to. I want you to
- 28:03Speaker 1: ask yourself some homework on this podcast. Ask yourself, where
- 28:07Speaker 1: are you rushing? Where are you rushing things? Why are
- 28:10Speaker 1: you hurrying? Like? Where in your life are you trying
- 28:12Speaker 1: to rush? Are you trying to rush to a relationship?
- 28:16Speaker 1: Are you trying to rush you know, a goal for
- 28:19Speaker 1: you at work? Are you what do you like? My
- 28:22Speaker 1: daughter the other day she said that she's constantly hurrying
- 28:25Speaker 1: doing the dishes, hurrying to do something like she does
- 28:28Speaker 1: everything like it's an emergency. And she said she finally
- 28:31Speaker 1: decided to just stop doing everything like it was an emergency.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Stop doing the distant dishes like they have to be
- 28:37Speaker 1: done in five minutes. Stop you know, running here and
- 28:39Speaker 1: running there. And I do. I remember sometimes I'll have
- 28:42Speaker 1: a list of stuff and I have to hurry and
- 28:44Speaker 1: get the list done, And timing is like why why
- 28:47Speaker 1: do I have to hurry to get it done? It'll
- 28:50Speaker 1: get done as long as I'm not lazy and I
- 28:53Speaker 1: show up, you know a little bit every day at
- 28:55Speaker 1: least still, we'll get done. And then ask yourself too,
- 28:59Speaker 1: where could you down? Where could you could you slow
- 29:01Speaker 1: down during the dishes? Could you slow down? You know
- 29:04Speaker 1: in your work? Could you slow down? Could you come
- 29:06Speaker 1: home early sometimes or not stay till midnight? Or you
- 29:10Speaker 1: know where could you slow down in your life? And
- 29:12Speaker 1: where could you just kind of take it all in
- 29:14Speaker 1: and we would it feel like if you listened to
- 29:17Speaker 1: your own compass and trusted your own timing. That's the
- 29:21Speaker 1: thing is last year I was like this, this, this
- 29:23Speaker 1: and this, and this year I'm more like, okay, these
- 29:25Speaker 1: are my goals. But I think spirit's going to let
- 29:28Speaker 1: me know. It's not like it's a race. It's that's
- 29:31Speaker 1: when we compete, that's when we try and be better
- 29:33Speaker 1: than somebody else. Which I got to tell you a story.
- 29:36Speaker 1: I was reading a book and there was a group,
- 29:39Speaker 1: a group it was. They were talking about a musical group,
- 29:44Speaker 1: and right before everything started, before they started making music,
- 29:47Speaker 1: they kicked out the guitarist and they didn't tell what,
- 29:50Speaker 1: they didn't tell him why, and he was devastated and
- 29:53Speaker 1: he rode the bus home. I think it was in
- 29:55Speaker 1: England and he had to come back to I don't
- 29:57Speaker 1: remember where he was, but it was a long bus
- 29:58Speaker 1: ride and by the time he got home, at first
- 30:00Speaker 1: he was feeling sorry for yourself. Then he was sad,
- 30:03Speaker 1: but by the time he got home he had done.
- 30:07Speaker 1: He had said, I'm going to build my own group,
- 30:12Speaker 1: my own musician band, and it's going to be better
- 30:14Speaker 1: than ever. And he did that. He built his own
- 30:18Speaker 1: musicians band and they were good. They were way good.
- 30:20Speaker 1: They sold lots of records. In fact, I think he
- 30:22Speaker 1: was the lead guitarist of Megadeath. I don't know if
- 30:25Speaker 1: you guys know, I didn't know that group very well.
- 30:27Speaker 1: But but he still felt like a failure because the
- 30:30Speaker 1: group he got kicked out of was Metallica, and they
- 30:34Speaker 1: did sell more albums and more awards than Megadeath. But
- 30:39Speaker 1: he so he measured his success on being better than Metallica.
- 30:47Speaker 1: So instead of you know, loving what he created and
- 30:52Speaker 1: being proud of himself and giving himself a great grace
- 30:55Speaker 1: of creating Megadeath, he measured self worth on what Metallica did,
- 31:03Speaker 1: and comparison is the thief of joy. And so he
- 31:10Speaker 1: at the end of the you know, he said, sometimes
- 31:12Speaker 1: he still feels like fa failure because he measures his
- 31:15Speaker 1: success on somebody else. And that's you don't need to
- 31:17Speaker 1: measure your success on somebody else. You need to ask
- 31:20Speaker 1: yourself what you really want, and you need to measure
- 31:23Speaker 1: your success on how you get there, not how how
- 31:26Speaker 1: better you are at something that somebody else or how
- 31:30Speaker 1: how somebody else is better than you, because it doesn't matter.
- 31:34Speaker 1: It's not a race that Metallica and Megadeth were in
- 31:37Speaker 1: a race that no one could win, right, and he
- 31:41Speaker 1: is a very famous guitarist now. And on the flip side,
- 31:46Speaker 1: right before the Beatles became popular, they kicked out one
- 31:49Speaker 1: of their fourth members. I think his name was Peter,
- 31:51Speaker 1: I'm not sure, and they hired Ringo Star instead. And
- 31:55Speaker 1: at first, and how popular the Beatles became, and at
- 31:58Speaker 1: first this Peter guy thing is his name, he was devastated,
- 32:02Speaker 1: and he was sad, and he got depressed and he
- 32:03Speaker 1: went on a drunking binge. But years later, after he
- 32:07Speaker 1: saw how much fame and how much surrounded the Beatles
- 32:11Speaker 1: and how much chaos, he said, I'm better off the
- 32:14Speaker 1: way I am. I'm actually grateful that I didn't. I
- 32:17Speaker 1: wasn't part because he remembered what was important, right. It's
- 32:21Speaker 1: about the friendships and the laughter. It's not about how
- 32:24Speaker 1: famous you become. It's not about how many people know
- 32:27Speaker 1: you or how popular you are. It's not measured on
- 32:31Speaker 1: what metallica. It's measured on you and how many people
- 32:36Speaker 1: you help, or just being you and figuring out your
- 32:40Speaker 1: authentic self. And so that's what Hawaii reminded me of
- 32:44Speaker 1: of what's really important. And it's not a race. We're
- 32:49Speaker 1: all going to end up at the same place and
- 32:51Speaker 1: that's our deathbed. So I guess if you want to,
- 32:55Speaker 1: you know, experience love and laughter and friendship and peace.
- 32:59Speaker 1: And it's almost like Hawaii's the heart of the earth.
- 33:05Speaker 1: It's the peace of the earth. And that's what that's
- 33:08Speaker 1: what I love. That's what I learned in Hawaii. It
- 33:10Speaker 1: was a majestic it was beautiful, but at the end
- 33:13Speaker 1: of the day, it was about the friendships and the laughter,
- 33:16Speaker 1: and you can find that anywhere you're at. So I
- 33:19Speaker 1: love you guys so much. And the book that I
- 33:21Speaker 1: found that in is how to Not Give a fuc
- 33:24Speaker 1: k And I don't remember the author, but that was awesome.
- 33:29Speaker 1: So I love you guys so much and I will
- 33:32Speaker 1: see you guys next week.
