- 0:26Speaker 1: It is time to believe your worries outside and laugh
- 0:31Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Dan O'Malley along with
- 0:35Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Jerry Caldwell on a Friday, November first,
- 0:41Speaker 1: twenty twenty four, or as some call it, Dia do
- 0:45Speaker 1: lass man I suck at Spanish diadlos martos. Did I
- 0:50Speaker 1: say it right?
- 0:51Speaker 2: Yes?
- 0:52Speaker 1: Yes? Day the dead? Day the dead? How to all
- 0:58Speaker 1: those who have passed?
- 1:00Speaker 2: If you're dead at your day?
- 1:01Speaker 1: Yeah? Which if you're us inside the treehouse, that's a
- 1:05Speaker 1: lot of people we know who I mean a lot, Wow,
- 1:13Speaker 1: lots of dead people we know. It seems I would
- 1:16Speaker 1: actually put up I would put us up against Haley
- 1:21Speaker 1: Joel Osmond in the sixth sense as knowing more dead people.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Thankfully we don't see them like because we would not
- 1:35Speaker 1: be having such a fun time in here if that
- 1:36Speaker 1: was the case. Luckily we don't, and so we're not.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Today is Friday, No remember first, twenty twenty four. I
- 1:42Speaker 1: hope you had a wonderful Halloween. I hope you got
- 1:44Speaker 1: all the candy. Two things I want to start with
- 1:48Speaker 1: before I tell you about an unholy alliance in the
- 1:51Speaker 1: food Kingdom. I need to tell you about I saw
- 1:58Speaker 1: briefly yesterday that if you overindulge in the candy. If
- 2:02Speaker 1: you eat too much candy, whether you took it from
- 2:05Speaker 1: your kids or you inter con treating yourself, whatever the
- 2:07Speaker 1: case is, you ate too much candy, you can counteract
- 2:11Speaker 1: it in your microbiome, which is also known as your gut,
- 2:15Speaker 1: in your tummy, your stomach, and your guts. If you
- 2:18Speaker 1: ate too much candy, balance it out by eating sauer kraut,
- 2:23Speaker 1: because according to scientists, the good bacteria in the fermented
- 2:27Speaker 1: foods are good for your gut after all the ravaging
- 2:30Speaker 1: you've done with the sugar and stuff from the candy.
- 2:33Speaker 1: And it doesn't have to be sour kraut. That's just
- 2:35Speaker 1: a good example. It can be other fermented foods like yogurt,
- 2:40Speaker 1: kim chi, kombucha, kombucha which tastes terrible, but when you
- 2:46Speaker 1: learned that it's fermented, which is just another way of
- 2:50Speaker 1: saying rotting. Those are other options. I suggest the yogurt
- 2:59Speaker 1: or the st route, but that's just me. You do
- 3:02Speaker 1: you if you over indulged, get you some fermented foods.
- 3:07Speaker 1: There's our public service of the day. Now let's go
- 3:11Speaker 1: on to more important things, which is an unholy alliance
- 3:16Speaker 1: in the food world. I love a good mashup. I
- 3:22Speaker 1: like remixes on songs sometimes. Sometimes I like reboots of
- 3:26Speaker 1: movies just to see the different directions that they may go.
- 3:29Speaker 1: But this is certainly one that I did not see coming.
- 3:34Speaker 1: In recent years, there's been a trend in the food
- 3:36Speaker 1: world to take one well known food item and pair
- 3:42Speaker 1: it with another, and then you have a new creation
- 3:44Speaker 1: that then both companies can sell. And one of the
- 3:47Speaker 1: newest of these, I'm going to let the anchors at
- 3:51Speaker 1: Fox ten tell you about. This is Fox ten in
- 3:57Speaker 1: I have no idea, but it's Fox ten somewhere. Okay.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I'm going to let the anchors of Fox ten tell
- 4:04Speaker 1: you about one of the newest food mashups in the
- 4:08Speaker 1: food world. And you're not going to believe your ears.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Are you ready?
- 4:17Speaker 3: Product might hit the sweet spot.
- 4:19Speaker 4: Hormel is partnering with General Mills breakfast products cinnamon toast Crum.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I'm sorry. What I would like to point out that
- 4:39Speaker 1: if you have been a broadcaster for a long enough time,
- 4:44Speaker 1: at some point in your career, you have mistakenly said
- 4:50Speaker 1: that word, and it's usually at the most inopportune time.
- 4:54Speaker 1: I did it during a weather report during I think
- 4:56Speaker 1: it was a tornado warning for Hunt County, Hunt County.
- 5:04Speaker 1: And I say it that way for hopefully the very
- 5:06Speaker 1: obvious reason that because I didn't say Hunt County on
- 5:11Speaker 1: that particular day years ago, and because I did not
- 5:14Speaker 1: say Hunt County, I now make sure that I over
- 5:20Speaker 1: over deliver the H in Hunt County, because it's really
- 5:24Speaker 1: easy to flip those two and next thing you knew.
- 5:27Speaker 1: The next thing I knew, I was delivering a scary
- 5:29Speaker 1: tornado report for county.
- 5:32Speaker 5: I'll never forget that because I had to pull that
- 5:34Speaker 5: audio and I was like, oh no.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, he said it. Yeah. Not only did I
- 5:40Speaker 1: say it, it aired, Yeah, because we were because anyone
- 5:44Speaker 1: that heard it was in such shock that that was
- 5:48Speaker 1: how hard I hit the on the air. I hit
- 5:52Speaker 1: that so hard everyone froze. I will say it was
- 5:57Speaker 1: probably the most paid attention, the most paid attention to
- 6:00Speaker 1: weather alert in the history of North Texas. The day
- 6:03Speaker 1: that I said County.
- 6:06Speaker 2: I actually remember that I was listening.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Yeah, So that's that's that's why I now say Hunt County.
- 6:14Speaker 1: So that was my sea bomb screw up. And now
- 6:18Speaker 1: we have this young anchors. Sea Bomb screw Up courtesy
- 6:23Speaker 1: of Fox ten and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Spot Hormell is partnering with General Mills breakfast products Cinnamon
- 6:30Speaker 4: Toast Crunch.
- 6:39Speaker 3: The family flavor is He's not gonna be wont to
- 6:47Speaker 3: make it.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Man, I love it. I love people laughing. It's one
- 6:55Speaker 1: of the sweetest sounds that there is in this world.
- 6:57Speaker 1: That's one of the reasons I love doing this show
- 6:59Speaker 1: because it's all about fun and laughter. But I absolutely
- 7:03Speaker 1: love it when news people, when TV news anchors, who
- 7:06Speaker 1: are typically the most buttoned up and staunched professionals, when
- 7:11Speaker 1: they crack and lose it. I lose it, but especially
- 7:15Speaker 1: especially when in this particular situation, it's the female anchor
- 7:20Speaker 1: actually laughing harder than the guy who just dropped the
- 7:22Speaker 1: sea bomb.
- 7:24Speaker 2: I love hell. I always throw it to the weather guy.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Yeah, it's always up. It's always up to like the
- 7:29Speaker 1: weather guy or the traffic reporter to clean up the
- 7:32Speaker 1: mess that the anchor just made. So how do you
- 7:36Speaker 1: think this weather guy's going to react?
- 7:40Speaker 2: Oh, he's got to have a comeback joke.
- 7:44Speaker 1: All right, let's take a listen here, let's start it over.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Mel Is partnering with General Mills breakfast products, Cinnamon toast crush,
- 7:59Speaker 4: the family flavor.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Is he's not gonna be to make it?
- 8:10Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we don't. I don't think we're gonna be
- 8:12Speaker 1: trying any of that, man. I think that would get
- 8:18Speaker 1: more men to try it, right, Sorry, man, But if
- 8:23Speaker 1: you come out with the cinnamon toast.
- 8:25Speaker 6: Light me up. Oh where they may go?
- 8:30Speaker 5: I have that for breakfast every day.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Well, it was cinnamon toast flavor, and I'm sure you would,
- 8:40Speaker 1: sorry baby, if you had breakfast yet. Although it does
- 8:45Speaker 1: uh does they do actually sell separately of the cinnamon
- 8:49Speaker 1: toast crunch cereal. They actually do sell the cinnamon toast
- 8:54Speaker 1: crunch seasoning powder. Like it's just a cinnamon toast crunch
- 8:59Speaker 1: in the jar. You can shake on things. So if
- 9:03Speaker 1: you if you and the missus want to roleplay, shake
- 9:06Speaker 1: and bake, you're welcome.

- 11:07Speaker 1: That is, well, maybe twice Fairleas dot org. Have any
- 11:13Speaker 1: of you guys seen The Joker Too? The follow up
- 11:17Speaker 1: to the very popular highest grossing R rated film of
- 11:23Speaker 1: all time until Deadpool and Wolverine, the follow up to
- 11:26Speaker 1: Joquin Phoenix's Joker? Have you seen Joker Too?
- 11:30Speaker 2: Have not seen it yet?
- 11:31Speaker 1: Trey? I don't think you have either, right?
- 11:33Speaker 9: No?
- 11:34Speaker 1: Did you guys know it was a musical?
- 11:37Speaker 2: Yes?
- 11:39Speaker 1: I didn't know it was a musical, And still I
- 11:41Speaker 1: started hearing the screams coming from the movie theater and
- 11:45Speaker 1: the people bitching about it online about how they said
- 11:48Speaker 1: it was absolute trash. It was a garbage film. There
- 11:52Speaker 1: might have been some comparisons or arguments as to what
- 11:55Speaker 1: was worst, Joker Too or the Dallas Cowboys. Jerry's still
- 11:58Speaker 1: out on that one, but basically everyone's really pissed off
- 12:02Speaker 1: about Joker too, disappointed, especially because the director, Todd Phillips
- 12:07Speaker 1: snuck a musical in on us. Because while I guess
- 12:11Speaker 1: you shouldn't be totally surprised at a movie centered around
- 12:14Speaker 1: singing that has Lady Gaga in it. Lady Gaga is
- 12:18Speaker 1: capable of just normal acting without singing. She's very good
- 12:20Speaker 1: at it. But apparently they leaned into the singing and
- 12:23Speaker 1: we got a Joker sequel that is a musical that
- 12:27Speaker 1: no one asked for. And I'm hesitant because I was
- 12:31Speaker 1: gonna go see it, Like my wife and I were like,
- 12:34Speaker 1: Tera was super excited to go to the movie because
- 12:36Speaker 1: she was heay Popcorn and we loved the first one,
- 12:39Speaker 1: so we were excited to go see Joker too. And
- 12:40Speaker 1: then we started hearing the reviews coming out, and then
- 12:43Speaker 1: we were like, you know what, maybe let's wait until
- 12:46Speaker 1: it's streaming. Now it's time for Quentin Tarantino to enter
- 12:51Speaker 1: the chat, because apparently he loved it and we all
- 12:56Speaker 1: just didn't get the film, which is what some film
- 13:01Speaker 1: officionados tried sayings, you just didn't get it. It was
- 13:04Speaker 1: just too smart for you. You just wanted a violent
- 13:07Speaker 1: Joker comic comic book film, and it's just not that
- 13:11Speaker 1: it's a character study and blah blah blah blah, but
- 13:14Speaker 1: shut up, and yeah, that's what I wanted. I wanted
- 13:18Speaker 1: a movie about the Joker, and I didn't get it,
- 13:22Speaker 1: even though we liked the first one, so we knew
- 13:24Speaker 1: what he was playing with Todd Phillips a director, but
- 13:27Speaker 1: we just didn't get any of that in the second one. Great,
- 13:31Speaker 1: did you ever see the first one?
- 13:34Speaker 2: Say it again?
- 13:35Speaker 5: It's a comic book character. I mean, that's that's what
- 13:38Speaker 5: people are expecting, you know, I mean. And if there
- 13:42Speaker 5: was ever someone to take this the snooty you know,
- 13:46Speaker 5: high road, if you didn't get it, it's such a
- 13:48Speaker 5: Tarantino move.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Now, Trey, I forget. Did you see the first one?
- 13:55Speaker 1: I saw part of it, Okay, really good, very dark, disturbing,
- 14:01Speaker 1: but at the at the end of it was a
- 14:02Speaker 1: really good film. Jerry, I think you saw it right.
- 14:05Speaker 2: I haven't seen it yet either.
- 14:08Speaker 1: All right, Well, you got homework. Well, Quentin Tarantino says
- 14:12Speaker 1: he figured out a Joker too. He loves it, and
- 14:15Speaker 1: he applauds it. He also calls the director of The Joker,
- 14:20Speaker 1: Todd Phillips, the Joker. So in all of this people
- 14:26Speaker 1: are trying to figure out the film. Quentin Tarantino said
- 14:28Speaker 1: that Todd Phillips, the director of The Joker and The
- 14:31Speaker 1: Joker Too, is in fact the Joker. He says, Todd
- 14:34Speaker 1: Phillips is the Joker. The Joker directed the movie, the
- 14:39Speaker 1: entire concept, even him spending the studio's money. He's spending
- 14:44Speaker 1: it like the Joker would spend it, all right. He's
- 14:47Speaker 1: saying Hugh to the movie audience. He's saying Hugh to Hollywood.
- 14:53Speaker 1: He's saying Hugh to anybody who owns any stock at
- 14:58Speaker 1: d C and Warner Brother. Todd Phillips is the Joker.
- 15:06Speaker 1: If that's the case, that's that's you know, it's an
- 15:09Speaker 1: interesting angle. And if that is in fact true, with
- 15:14Speaker 1: Todd Phillips saying to you, to everybody, well, guess what
- 15:18Speaker 1: you're gonna get a real big keew right back.
- 15:22Speaker 5: Was he contractually obligated to make this movie?
- 15:26Speaker 1: I don't know. There's always ways out of these things.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Even if you have a contract. All contracts can be
- 15:37Speaker 1: you know, eradicated, as as we've experienced in our lives
- 15:43Speaker 1: and we've seen, so there's always ways to get out
- 15:45Speaker 1: of it even if you are, so if you just
- 15:46Speaker 1: don't want to do it, you can just find a
- 15:48Speaker 1: way enough to do it. They studios and directors sever
- 15:52Speaker 1: ties due to creative differences all the time. But it
- 15:59Speaker 1: is an interest take from Tarantino that that we all
- 16:03Speaker 1: just basically got jokered. Do you agree? Do you think
- 16:06Speaker 1: we all got jokerd or do we all just get.
- 16:12Speaker 6: I mean that's if he did, you know, do that, then.
- 16:18Speaker 5: Hopefully he's made enough money in his career because I certainly,
- 16:20Speaker 5: if I'm a studio, I'm gonna be like, well, you're
- 16:23Speaker 5: not gonna do that to us? That seems like a
- 16:27Speaker 5: pretty big gamble.
- 16:29Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 16:29Speaker 5: I get if Tarantino to a certain from what I've read,
- 16:35Speaker 5: if he if he was saying that Todd Phillips directed
- 16:38Speaker 5: the movie as the Joker, Okay, maybe, but say anything
- 16:45Speaker 5: spent the two studios money like the Joker.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Eh. That's the part that will make it real difficult
- 16:51Speaker 1: to be making any movies unless unless it's a biopic
- 16:56Speaker 1: that you do about yourself that's titled me. Because that's
- 17:02Speaker 1: really about all that's gonna end up happening here. This
- 17:05Speaker 1: is gonna be a whole lot of you and yourself
- 17:06Speaker 1: in a room and has about it. Because while Hollywood
- 17:11Speaker 1: will give you a lot of leeway and some things,
- 17:13Speaker 1: especially if you make it some money upfront, if if
- 17:17Speaker 1: if you screw them, they will absolutely screw you back.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Had the movie made money, they'd have been fine with it.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Hollywood doesn't care if you say you and you you
- 17:28Speaker 1: back up a brinch truck to the to the to
- 17:30Speaker 1: the gate to the studio. But if you say you
- 17:33Speaker 1: to them and you make no money, well then you're
- 17:36Speaker 1: gonna be you know as well.
- 17:37Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, and let's be honest. You know, if
- 17:39Speaker 5: it was Marvel, you might be able to get away
- 17:41Speaker 5: with it, but this is DC. Yeah.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, if Robert Downey Junior wants to do
- 17:49Speaker 1: a middle finger to all of us and say you,
- 17:51Speaker 1: we're all gonna be like, Okay, can I have another one? Yeah,
- 17:56Speaker 1: which she's probably gonna do when he takes over the
- 17:58Speaker 1: role of Doc Doom m hm. But at least it'll
- 18:02Speaker 1: be expected then because he's a villain.
- 18:04Speaker 5: Are we still waiting on Tarantino's quote unquote last movie?
- 18:10Speaker 1: Maybe maybe he's what to do Joker three?
- 18:17Speaker 2: I would watch that would freehouse, you visit us online.
- 18:24Speaker 10: I'm Treehouse on air dot com.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Let's get Daniel Cook from Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration

- 18:41Speaker 1: guys do lots of great work on roofs, and the
- 18:43Speaker 1: restoration part of the side of the business also means
- 18:46Speaker 1: you know, you're doing remodeling work underneath the roof inside
- 18:50Speaker 1: the home as well. And you were telling me just uh,
- 18:54Speaker 1: just recently that you, Daniel and Cook DFW Roofing and
- 18:58Speaker 1: Restoration offer lifetime I warranties on all your work.
- 19:02Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 19:02Speaker 11: Dan, that's something that we talked about for a while
- 19:04Speaker 11: now and we decided to go ahead and just pull
- 19:06Speaker 11: the trigger on it. We've had excellent reviews, we've had
- 19:09Speaker 11: excellent referrals. People really love our work when they give
- 19:12Speaker 11: us a chance, and we just want to put our
- 19:15Speaker 11: money where our mouth is. And you know, that's the
- 19:18Speaker 11: best way I can always say that is just back
- 19:20Speaker 11: it up.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Back it up.
- 19:21Speaker 11: When I was growing up and I told somebody who's
- 19:24Speaker 11: gonna kick their ass, you got to back it up. Well,
- 19:26Speaker 11: now that I'm a grown man and we're doing professional
- 19:28Speaker 11: services on people's homes, and I tell them that they're
- 19:30Speaker 11: never going to have a better experience. I'm backing it up.
- 19:33Speaker 11: We're going to take care of your home because we
- 19:35Speaker 11: want you to have that peace of mind knowing that
- 19:37Speaker 11: after we left, you have the very best product left behind.

- 19:43Speaker 11: that you don't have to worry about us not coming back.
- 19:46Speaker 1: You can experience it for yourself, and you can put
- 19:47Speaker 1: your money where Daniel's mouth is and he'll honor it.
- 19:51Speaker 1: As you just heard, even if he dies, he's still
- 19:54Speaker 1: going to honor this stuff. I mean, that's that's some
- 19:57Speaker 1: serious integrity and quality asmanship to have the confidence to
- 20:01Speaker 1: be like, yeah, this is how we do things. So
- 20:03Speaker 1: you give the man a call for that free roof inspection.
- 20:05Speaker 1: A three three Cook DFW the website cookdfw dot com.

- 20:36Speaker 1: Treehouse on Air at gmail dot com. All right, now
- 20:43Speaker 1: that we've had enough use for an entire show, even
- 20:46Speaker 1: though we're only at just a couple of segments in Uh,
- 20:48Speaker 1: there's one more queue out of Russia that I am
- 20:53Speaker 1: just floored by. Okay, a Russian court has fined Google
- 21:04Speaker 1: because they've ruled that Google basically banned Russian content from
- 21:12Speaker 1: their YouTube platform. And because of this, a Russian court
- 21:16Speaker 1: has ruled that Google owes Russian media stations around twenty
- 21:24Speaker 1: decillion dollars in fines for blocking their content, and the
- 21:28Speaker 1: fines could get bigger, even though I don't even know
- 21:31Speaker 1: how much twenty decilion dollars is they say. To put
- 21:37Speaker 1: that into perspective, the World Bank estimates global GDP is
- 21:42Speaker 1: around one hundred trillion dollars, which is peanuts compared to
- 21:46Speaker 1: the perspective fine. Google would therefore have to find more
- 21:50Speaker 1: money than exists on Earth to pay Moscow, but on
- 21:54Speaker 1: Tuesday fell just a little short of that when it
- 21:57Speaker 1: posted eighty eight billion dollars in quarterly revenue. I'm going
- 22:03Speaker 1: to tell you now how many zeros this is because
- 22:06Speaker 1: it looks like a joke. This looks like such an
- 22:08Speaker 1: extreme joke that you would have been bored with making
- 22:12Speaker 1: zeros for a joke of this magnitude. Okay, here's what
- 22:15Speaker 1: twenty decilion looks like. All right, I'm going to count
- 22:22Speaker 1: sets of zeros, so we all know how in numbers,
- 22:25Speaker 1: there's three zeros, then a comma. Three zeros don a
- 22:27Speaker 1: comma right, hundreds thousands, millions, billions. All right, we all
- 22:32Speaker 1: got that.
- 22:33Speaker 6: Here we go.
- 22:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna count sets of zeros one, two, three, four, five,
- 22:39Speaker 1: six seven. See at this point, seven sets of zeros
- 22:44Speaker 1: really establishes the freakish amount of money that you want to,
- 22:47Speaker 1: you know, use as say, a joke, as a stupid punchline.
- 22:53Speaker 1: And I'm not done. One two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten,
- 23:00Speaker 1: eleven sets of zeros, and then another zero and a
- 23:05Speaker 1: two that gets you twenty decillion dollars. That is one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine,
- 23:17Speaker 1: ten eleven commas. Wow, I've heard people brag before. They
- 23:23Speaker 1: use commas to brag about the size of their wealth.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Oh well, I'm three comma rich, bitch, please, I'm five
- 23:33Speaker 1: comma rich. Well, I'm six comma. Let's see when you
- 23:36Speaker 1: get to one comma two comma that's in the millions,
- 23:42Speaker 1: three commas. Now you're in the billions. Four commas after billion,
- 23:47Speaker 1: that's trillion, right trad yep, So we're talking one two,
- 23:55Speaker 1: hang on, one two, three, four commas. We'll get you
- 24:00Speaker 1: into the upper echelon of Earth's richest people. Elon Musk
- 24:05Speaker 1: is in the hundreds of billions, right, like one hundred
- 24:07Speaker 1: billion something, Zuckerberg one hundred billion. There's a couple other
- 24:10Speaker 1: people that might be close to that. So that is
- 24:14Speaker 1: when I say four commas, one two, three, Yeah, that's
- 24:17Speaker 1: four commas. A Russian court has fined Google eleven commas
- 24:23Speaker 1: worth of money. You know what, I guess if you're
- 24:30Speaker 1: just gonna ask for some nonsense, go for it.
- 24:34Speaker 2: I mean, obegar, go home.
- 24:36Speaker 6: Yes, Doctor Evil is now a judge.
- 24:42Speaker 1: I love that you said that, because I had the
- 24:44Speaker 1: same thought, Like did Vladimir putin dresses Doctor Evil for
- 24:50Speaker 1: Halloween and say I'm going to find Google. Just shear
- 24:57Speaker 1: your daughters say, it's not even a word. They just
- 25:01Speaker 1: made They had to just made that up, right. I
- 25:03Speaker 1: don't even know. I don't know what uh what the
- 25:06Speaker 1: words are between trillion and decilian? Like is there like
- 25:13Speaker 1: is there fifty sicilian million dollars?
- 25:16Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Quadrillion, quintillion. Uh see, you get lost after Quachstilian, septilian, octilian,
- 25:33Speaker 2: and I do not know what the ninth one is, and.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Then you still got two more to go. Okay, so
- 25:44Speaker 1: I guess it is doing the Latin thing then, right, yeah, okay, yeah, yeah,
- 25:50Speaker 1: I do think I think you're right, though, Trey. I
- 25:52Speaker 1: think if if, if doctor Evil is doing a head tilt,
- 25:58Speaker 1: maybe you've overshot it a little bit.
- 26:01Speaker 5: Enough things are going bad in Russia. But damn, I mean,
- 26:06Speaker 5: I mean, is that what you go to the people with.
- 26:07Speaker 5: I know you're starving, but hey, we have twenty decillion
- 26:11Speaker 5: dollars on our way.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Just just be patient and if we can get googled
- 26:15Speaker 1: Google to pay just half that, yeah, then we'll be
- 26:20Speaker 1: doing really good.
- 26:31Speaker 7: You're listening to the Treehouse posit us online, that Treehouse
- 26:35Speaker 7: on air dot com.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Look, I know it's a big number, but maybe we
- 26:38Speaker 1: can meet the middle. Let's get Jacqueline from Brooks Plumbing
- 26:47Speaker 1: into the Treehouse now for any and all of your
- 26:49Speaker 1: plumbing once and needs, give her and all of them
- 26:52Speaker 1: there a call to one four three six eight thirty
- 26:54Speaker 1: eight thirty eight. The website Brooks Plumbing Texas dot Com.
- 26:57Speaker 1: When I had my house in Dallas, Jacqueline, you came
- 26:59Speaker 1: out a few times to help us with some issues,
- 27:02Speaker 1: and your response time was phenomenal. And it wasn't just
- 27:06Speaker 1: because it was me. It was because that's the kind
- 27:09Speaker 1: of company you run. You go out of your way
- 27:10Speaker 1: trying to help every client and try to get there
- 27:13Speaker 1: as soon as you can.
- 27:14Speaker 12: Well, I mean the reality of it is is that
- 27:17Speaker 12: plumbing is unfortunately a need and not so much a want. Yes,
- 27:20Speaker 12: you can want to remodel the bathroom and that's not pressing,
- 27:24Speaker 12: but typically when it comes to service or leak investigations,
- 27:27Speaker 12: et cetera, et cetera. If you've got to stoppage on
- 27:30Speaker 12: the mainline and you don't know and you keep putting
- 27:34Speaker 12: liquid or you know, waste into the drains, if it
- 27:39Speaker 12: has nowhere to go, it will come back in the
- 27:41Speaker 12: house and at that point in time, it's no longer
- 27:45Speaker 12: a want, it's a need, and that sort of thing
- 27:47Speaker 12: can't wait. When you have those emergencies, you have got
- 27:51Speaker 12: to figure out how to manage the crew so that
- 27:54Speaker 12: you can have the best response time.
- 27:56Speaker 1: That's right, and they'll show up and they'll do it.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Quickly called Jaqueline from Brooks Plumbing for any and all

- 28:33Speaker 1: podcast all right. Over the last week leading up to Halloween,
- 28:38Speaker 1: here inside the Treehouse, we were playing a special edition
- 28:42Speaker 1: of Treehouse Versus, where I ask you guys to make
- 28:45Speaker 1: a difficult choice between two things, two situations, two scenarios.
- 28:49Speaker 1: And leading up to Halloween, we were doing a spooky
- 28:52Speaker 1: edition of versus, uh Halloween Villains Halloween movie villains. You're
- 28:58Speaker 1: in a dark stairwell and trying to decide who do
- 29:00Speaker 1: you want to try to go up against to make
- 29:01Speaker 1: an escape attempt? You know, was it Jason Voorhees versus
- 29:06Speaker 1: Michael Myers, Chucky versus Annabel You get the idea. We
- 29:10Speaker 1: decided to extend it by an additional day because today
- 29:13Speaker 1: is Dia DilOS wakos. It's like it's like Halloween plus, right,
- 29:18Speaker 1: So inside the Treehouse we're going to do Spooky Versus Plus.
- 29:22Speaker 1: And I'm going to hand the reins over to Trey
- 29:25Speaker 1: because he had an idea for something that would be
- 29:28Speaker 1: truly terrifying to cap off the week of Spooky Versus
- 29:32Speaker 1: Inside the Treehouse. Trey take it over, sir.
- 29:36Speaker 5: So, yeah, I'm not worried about dying at the hands
- 29:39Speaker 5: of Jason or Freddie or Michael Myers or you know, Chucky,
- 29:44Speaker 5: but dying at the hands of a crazy woman is
- 29:46Speaker 5: certainly something I can see happening. And you know, it's
- 29:50Speaker 5: kind of how do you want to go out? So
- 29:55Speaker 5: I thought of, you know, two characters that you'll present
- 30:03Speaker 5: a conundrum on. You know you're gonna die, but how
- 30:05Speaker 5: do you want to go out?
- 30:07Speaker 6: Okay, So.
- 30:10Speaker 5: First Catherine Trammel Tremmell, Sharon Stone from Basic Instinct.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Oh oh oh, versus Alex.
- 30:22Speaker 6: Forrest Glenn Close from Fatal Attraction.
- 30:32Speaker 1: I don't like your game. This is too scary. It's
- 30:35Speaker 1: also too real.
- 30:38Speaker 6: Tell me about it.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Huh. I like being the host of this game. I
- 30:44Speaker 1: don't like being subjected to this masochistic stuff. Oh uh,
- 30:53Speaker 1: all right, hang on, let me think about this, all right. So,
- 30:58Speaker 1: for spooky verses an extent, you're making me and Jerry
- 31:03Speaker 1: decide between Catherine Trammel from Basic Instinct played by Sharon
- 31:13Speaker 1: stone Stone and the character Alex Forrest from Fatal Attraction
- 31:17Speaker 1: portrayed by Glenn Close. Yes, it's a toughie. Let me
- 31:28Speaker 1: look here, and I'll try to present this as best
- 31:30Speaker 1: as I can. Let's take a quick look at Fatal Attraction.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Glenn Close and Fatal Attraction. Dare I say, maybe her
- 31:42Speaker 1: sexiest look of her career. That's the film where she
- 31:47Speaker 1: goes crazy on Michael Douglas. This is from nineteen eighty seven.
- 31:51Speaker 1: This is one of the few films that my parents
- 31:54Speaker 1: did not let me watch as a kid. They were
- 31:57Speaker 1: fine with me watching Jaws, but not Fatal Attrack Action.
- 32:02Speaker 1: All right, So, h Glenn Close from Fatal Attraction or
- 32:08Speaker 1: Sharon Stone from Basic Instinct technically the character of Katherine Trammel,
- 32:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna go with Sharon Stone. I mean the Catherine
- 32:20Speaker 1: Trammel from Basic Instinct mainly because she wasn't the killer
- 32:25Speaker 1: in them in that film?
- 32:29Speaker 6: Did we ever really find out for sure?
- 32:31Speaker 1: Pretty sure it was the brunette?
- 32:33Speaker 6: M M.
- 32:35Speaker 1: I think I think Catherine Trammel was innocent and basic instinct,
- 32:39Speaker 1: I mean, not innocent in in other ways, but she's
- 32:42Speaker 1: she's at least innocent of murder. She's guilty of plenty
- 32:46Speaker 1: of other things. But yeah, and she was certainly dangerous
- 32:52Speaker 1: and edgy, but she didn't kill anybody's rabbit in a pot.
- 32:57Speaker 1: So I'm gonna go with the I'm gonna go with
- 32:59Speaker 1: Catherine Trammel from Against It, Jerry, what about you?
- 33:01Speaker 2: I am also with Catherine Trammel because I don't want
- 33:06Speaker 2: one of my dogs boiled buddies?
- 33:15Speaker 1: Trey, where do you fall on this? On an ice pick?
- 33:22Speaker 6: Down the stairs into an ice pick?
- 33:25Speaker 1: How would you like to die on the rocks?
- 33:27Speaker 6: Please?
- 33:32Speaker 1: You're in the tree House.
- 33:34Speaker 10: Visit us online at treehouseonair dot com.
- 33:38Speaker 1: On Freshly Picked.

- 34:50Speaker 1: All right, back inside the Treehouse now, Daniel Malley here
- 34:54Speaker 1: with you, along with Trade Trenholm and Jerry called. Well,
- 35:00Speaker 1: there's still some really fun stuff that I need to
- 35:02Speaker 1: tell you here on a Friday inside the Treehouse. But
- 35:04Speaker 1: in order to do it, we have to first set
- 35:05Speaker 1: the proper tone and then the way to really set
- 35:08Speaker 1: the proper tone on any Friday inside the Treehouse, it
- 35:10Speaker 1: must be done with of course, birthdays. So today is
- 35:15Speaker 1: Fred Day, November one, twenty twenty four. Welcome to November
- 35:20Speaker 1: everyone birthdays today. She played Osha on Game of Thrones.
- 35:26Speaker 1: Even though I watched every single episode of Game of Thrones,
- 35:29Speaker 1: I have no idea who that character is. But the
- 35:31Speaker 1: actor's name is Natalia Tina. She is forty today. She
- 35:35Speaker 1: was also Nymphidora Tonks in the Harry Potter movies, which
- 35:39Speaker 1: I also think is one of Jerry's nicknames.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Nymphidora Tonks is to dance under that name in the nineties.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Everyone thinks Magic Mike was about you know, Randy Master
- 35:54Speaker 1: Blaster from labert but it was really about Jerry, who
- 35:59Speaker 1: danced under the dance name Nymphidora Tnks back in the day.
- 36:07Speaker 1: How was that name? And a children's book that's her
- 36:09Speaker 1: Mary Potter Jesus Okay. Anyway, Natalia Tina turns forty Badger
- 36:19Speaker 1: on Breaking Bad Matt Jones. He is forty three today.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Bo Bice from American Idol Season four is forty nine.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Jenny McCarthy is fifty two from What's the Is it
- 36:31Speaker 1: the Masked Singer that she's on? Yes, and she's also
- 36:34Speaker 1: married to Donnie Wahlberg. So happy birthday to Jenny McCarthy. Also,
- 36:39Speaker 1: what was the show on MTV back in the day
- 36:42Speaker 1: that she was, No that she was. It was the
- 36:45Speaker 1: game show that she was sort of the co host on.
- 36:47Speaker 1: Oh was One with the Heart. It's like a breakup whatever.
- 36:54Speaker 1: She got her starting Playboy. Then she was on that
- 36:56Speaker 1: show on MTV. Jenny McCarthy, she's fifty two.
- 36:59Speaker 6: She was on Love one.
- 37:01Speaker 1: No, it wasn't Love line, Jerry. We look it up
- 37:04Speaker 1: real quick, Jenny McCarthy, MTV show, Thank You. Other birthdays today.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Tony Collette turns fifty two. If you've never seen any
- 37:12Speaker 1: episodes of the United States of Terra, she plays terror
- 37:16Speaker 1: on that and it's phenomenal. She's very, very good. She's
- 37:18Speaker 1: also in a bunch of other films. She was the
- 37:20Speaker 1: mom in The Sixth Sense, Sophie B. Hawkins, The Damn
- 37:24Speaker 1: I Wish I was your lover. Singer turned sixty. Rick Allen,
- 37:27Speaker 1: who is def Leppard's one armed drummer. He is sixty
- 37:31Speaker 1: one to day, and I'd like to think that pour
- 37:35Speaker 1: some Sugar on Me was his anthem, because that's one
- 37:39Speaker 1: thing that he could do with one arm. While also
- 37:44Speaker 1: keeping in mind he could play drums like Animal from
- 37:49Speaker 1: the Muppets, right, I mean, my god, I mean hands
- 37:53Speaker 1: feet teeth, albeit if you put a stick in it
- 37:56Speaker 1: and he was whacking a drum with it. Other birthday today,
- 38:00Speaker 1: Anthony Keatis from a Hut Chili Peppers is sixty two.
- 38:04Speaker 1: Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, is sixty four. He
- 38:07Speaker 1: got the job because Steve Jobs died. Fernando Valenzuela, the
- 38:12Speaker 1: former Dodgers pitcher, is at least sixty four. We don't
- 38:16Speaker 1: really know his actual age because I don't know if
- 38:18Speaker 1: he's ever been honest about it. Lyle Lovett, who was
- 38:22Speaker 1: once married to Julia Roberts, is sixty seven, and I.
- 38:29Speaker 6: Think that's nano. Valenzuela is still alive. You know.
- 38:32Speaker 1: I'm wondering that myself. I thought I saw something a
- 38:34Speaker 1: couple of days ago that he was in the news,
- 38:36Speaker 1: and I wondered, did he die.
- 38:38Speaker 5: Well, yeah, because after the first game of the World Series,
- 38:42Speaker 5: they had his number spray painted on the mound and
- 38:45Speaker 5: they like.
- 38:45Speaker 6: Put a baseball wherever.
- 38:47Speaker 5: Like I forgot what number it was, but uh, I
- 38:51Speaker 5: feel like he's no longer with us. Yeah he's oh wow,
- 38:57Speaker 5: he just died October twenty second.
- 38:59Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, See, that's why I saw him pop up
- 39:01Speaker 1: on my feet. It's because he did just die, Well,
- 39:06Speaker 1: what year do they put on his on his headstone?
- 39:10Speaker 1: Because they don't know how old he was, and I
- 39:12Speaker 1: don't know if he's ever I mean, if you're ever
- 39:14Speaker 1: going to come clean about your real age, it's usually
- 39:16Speaker 1: go on your deathbed. But I really don't know if
- 39:19Speaker 1: he ever said how old he was.
- 39:21Speaker 5: I mean there's a whole list of eighties and nineties
- 39:24Speaker 5: baseball players that question will always remain.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Yeah, because I don't know, Like like all the Dominican Sinees,
- 39:35Speaker 1: Central American Siinees, they all said that they were seventeen
- 39:40Speaker 1: and eighteen so they could get signed, but for all
- 39:42Speaker 1: we know, they were forty four.
- 39:45Speaker 2: At least.
- 39:45Speaker 1: When Sachel Paige started his major league career, he actually
- 39:48Speaker 1: was I think in his forties and he was like, Hey,
- 39:50Speaker 1: I'm old and I'm still doing this. Fernando Valenzuela today
- 39:56Speaker 1: is his birthday, but he just missed it, having lived
- 39:59Speaker 1: one thousand years and playing in baseball for a good
- 40:01Speaker 1: chunk of that. Happy birthday for Nanda Valenzuela. Jerry, did
- 40:04Speaker 1: you find out what the show is that Jenny McCarthy
- 40:07Speaker 1: was on on MTV singled out that's the one.
- 40:14Speaker 2: You know.
- 40:14Speaker 1: My brain can only hold on to so many shows
- 40:17Speaker 1: that I used to watch. There's still one show that
- 40:22Speaker 1: I can never remember the name of that aired. I
- 40:25Speaker 1: believe it was on Saturday mornings. It was in an eighty,
- 40:28Speaker 1: so it was you know, regular TV. It was a
- 40:30Speaker 1: siblings show where it was like brothers and sisters typically,
- 40:33Speaker 1: and it was a game show and they would compete
- 40:36Speaker 1: and then they would leave the podium and go run
- 40:38Speaker 1: to like this two leveled system of goods that they
- 40:42Speaker 1: could get and win. And I can never remember the
- 40:44Speaker 1: name of that. Doubledare remember that all day? I can't
- 40:47Speaker 1: remember this other game show. And I couldn't remember singled out,
- 40:51Speaker 1: which I feel singled out not being able to remember.
- 40:55Speaker 2: M M.
- 40:56Speaker 1: Has anyone seen my brain? Does that? Does that game
- 40:59Speaker 1: show ring any bell for you guys?
- 41:01Speaker 2: It does? It was in the eighties.
- 41:02Speaker 1: It was in the eighties. It was a sibling game show,
- 41:05Speaker 1: and they had like products and toys and things on
- 41:08Speaker 1: a off on the side that they could go and
- 41:11Speaker 1: get and take and keep.
- 41:15Speaker 2: Flanders Keepers is that?
- 41:17Speaker 1: It let me look real quick.
- 41:21Speaker 6: Seems like that'd be something hosted by that Mark guy.
- 41:24Speaker 1: I think it was. And everyone knows the Mark guy
- 41:29Speaker 1: that that you're talking about exactly. We don't know his name.
- 41:33Speaker 1: We don't know it's full name. We just know it's
- 41:35Speaker 1: that Mark guy who hosted the Kids Show and at
- 41:37Speaker 1: one point he was the host of Doubledre.
- 41:40Speaker 7: Yeah, you're listening to the Treehouse.
- 41:47Speaker 8: Visit us online that Treehouse on Air dot com.
- 42:02Speaker 10: You're in the Treehouse business online at Treehouse on Air

- 42:23Speaker 1: you said the name of the game show that I
- 42:24Speaker 1: couldn't remember from the eighties is Finders Keepers.
