- 0:59Speaker 4: H I don't know what to do with this information
- 1:01Speaker 4: right now.
- 1:03Speaker 2: It didn't really lead into the yo's as well the song.
- 1:08Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:11Speaker 2: No, it didn't, it didn't.
- 1:15Speaker 4: Wait wait what is the normal one?
- 1:24Speaker 2: All right? That's right?

- 1:29Speaker 4: Raisin Caine Studio. We got Lady Caine filling in for
- 1:33Speaker 4: mister Jacob Hester today. What's Jacob doing? World Series?
- 1:37Speaker 6: Yeah, the World Series for Hoddy.
- 1:39Speaker 2: For Hoddy, that's right. And then next week it's Memphis, I.
- 1:43Speaker 5: Think, so yeah, there he's Esty Sesty.
- 1:49Speaker 4: So you got the Tripod filling in for you today.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Leave it to Jake to be waiting for the World
- 1:57Speaker 4: Cup for I don't know, World Cup to be played
- 2:01Speaker 4: in North America for half of his adult life maybe,
- 2:04Speaker 4: and then they start playing the World Cup.
- 2:09Speaker 2: In America and he's gone.
- 2:14Speaker 7: Waiting for Jake to come back on Monday and be like, God,
- 2:16Speaker 7: is I called a friendly this weekend? Actually went to Auburn.
- 2:21Speaker 7: I don't know if they're doing friendlies anymore. These are
- 2:24Speaker 7: the unfriendlies. Is that what they call them?
- 2:29Speaker 5: I think they call him matches they all right, I
- 2:33Speaker 5: think that's what they called them, because soccer has different.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Terms friendly.
- 2:38Speaker 4: And a meanie for a real game, they're playing meanies.
- 2:42Speaker 4: They're playing meanies right now. They were kind of mean yesterday.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Three weeks cards, three red cards in that game.
- 2:49Speaker 6: Really, my gosh, I'm color black. I couldn't.
- 2:57Speaker 4: We definitely watched it for sure. How are we supposed
- 2:59Speaker 4: to for the world for three hours today?
- 3:03Speaker 6: That's so Jake promised the people.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Taylor promised the people.
- 3:08Speaker 5: And I want to talk about Kane scarf on her
- 3:11Speaker 5: head because I love it.
- 3:13Speaker 6: She's kind of faces, It's adorable.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Who worries about Matt Flynn? Orkane? She's definitely about to
- 3:21Speaker 2: drive off a cliff.
- 3:23Speaker 6: Yeah, she looks like an Eastern European old lady.
- 3:28Speaker 7: Does, or Cam Newton or Cam Newton that exact thing
- 3:33Speaker 7: in a grocery store, except he had like the straw
- 3:38Speaker 7: hat under is he sponsored by canes?
- 3:41Speaker 8: Uh?
- 3:41Speaker 2: No?
- 3:42Speaker 5: I think the most ridiculous thing that Cam Newton does
- 3:44Speaker 5: is cut a hole at the top of his hat
- 3:46Speaker 5: to let his threads out.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Right, Like, think that important to you? Either don't wear
- 3:51Speaker 2: the hat or cut the hair.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Likes it completes where the dreads down.
- 3:58Speaker 6: Yeah, and like just put the hat.
- 4:00Speaker 7: A lot of options for Cam, he chose none of them. Well,
- 4:03Speaker 7: I think he chooses all of the options. Yeah, when
- 4:07Speaker 7: it comes to clothing.
- 4:09Speaker 6: He's like, what do you want to wear today?
- 4:11Speaker 2: Yes?
- 4:12Speaker 4: Sure, absolutely, you think he does he have a stylist,
- 4:16Speaker 4: but I actually but for whatever reason it works.
- 4:21Speaker 5: I know he doesn't have any real friends because if
- 4:23Speaker 5: he did, they would have told him already.
- 4:25Speaker 6: Like I don't know.
- 4:26Speaker 4: I feel like ridiculous for him and only him. I
- 4:28Speaker 4: feel like it all works.
- 4:29Speaker 6: That's fair, Like it's his brand.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I do like to listen to him. I love Cam
- 4:34Speaker 2: rant about sports.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Yeah, so while it would look absolutely ridiculous and stupid
- 4:40Speaker 4: on I would go as far as to say everybody
- 4:44Speaker 4: else on earth, Yes, Taylor's looking at me like, No,
- 4:48Speaker 4: I think Taylor's like.
- 4:49Speaker 2: I could pull it on.
- 4:51Speaker 7: No, not that it would look stupid on everybody else
- 4:54Speaker 7: on earth. You're saying Cam doesn't look stupid. I'm saying,
- 4:58Speaker 7: for whatever reason works.
- 5:00Speaker 6: For him, he looks stupid, but it works.
- 5:04Speaker 2: I don't see anybody I see that. I see people
- 5:06Speaker 2: out there like talking about his outfits.
- 5:09Speaker 4: Maybe not in like a positive way, but I don't
- 5:11Speaker 4: think in like a crazy negative way.
- 5:15Speaker 2: I think it's old woman vibes, not even it's Lady
- 5:20Speaker 2: Kane vibes. M No offense, Lady Kane. She kind of
- 5:24Speaker 2: took it from him. That's a good point. Who did
- 5:27Speaker 2: it first? Who done did it?
- 5:32Speaker 8: Hey?
- 5:32Speaker 2: Well, Happy Friday.
- 5:33Speaker 4: If you are tuning in, if you're driving, if you're
- 5:38Speaker 4: just chilling in the chilling at the house, watching on YouTube,
- 5:41Speaker 4: whatever it is, we appreciate you tuning into us. We
- 5:44Speaker 4: appreciate you joining in, joining the tripod today. It's like
- 5:48Speaker 4: I said, Jake is out of town. Gotta hope Buddy
- 5:51Speaker 4: wins it all. What would they You think it's any
- 5:57Speaker 4: coincidence that they're doing the World Cup in the World
- 5:59Speaker 4: Series at the same time. People from all over the country. Well,
- 6:03Speaker 4: excuse me, the world should be coming.
- 6:06Speaker 6: Yeah, oh, Freddy, he's in New Orleans. Freddy the guy
- 6:11Speaker 6: the German that was.
- 6:13Speaker 4: Oh, yes, he's in New Orleans. So he's not the
- 6:17Speaker 4: guy that was at the facility yesterday.
- 6:18Speaker 6: I don't think so.
- 6:19Speaker 8: Then.
- 6:20Speaker 4: All right, so Jacob text said yesterday he was at
- 6:23Speaker 4: LSU's football facility, said that there was some sort of
- 6:29Speaker 4: European fellows.
- 6:30Speaker 6: Yeah, well I think he was just a Will Wade recruit.
- 6:33Speaker 4: Oh that's a that's good thinking. Not a YouTuber. Well
- 6:39Speaker 4: it could have been YouTuber.
- 6:40Speaker 6: Maybe a YouTuber a stream.
- 6:41Speaker 2: YouTuber turned to Will Wade. Brother.
- 6:45Speaker 7: Yeah, we brought that up before the show. Dude, I
- 6:47Speaker 7: forgot all about sketch. I never knew about sketch.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Yeah, he's this nerdy guy.
- 6:54Speaker 6: They gave you the whole lore.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, no, it didn't really explain a lot. Just
- 6:58Speaker 4: the guy from Europe said, what's up?
- 7:00Speaker 2: Brother? He's not no, no, no, no, no, no, okay, he's
- 7:02Speaker 2: not European.
- 7:03Speaker 5: All right, he's a red blooded American from what state.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Couldn't tell you, but somewhere around here. Okay, hope, y'all.
- 7:15Speaker 6: I got European from Freddy is a European locked in.
- 7:19Speaker 2: On the world locked in.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Well, I was talking about European facility and you said,
- 7:23Speaker 4: was it, Freddy?
- 7:25Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 7:28Speaker 4: How a y'all doing this morning? Everybody good, fantastic good.
- 7:32Speaker 6: It's Friday.
- 7:33Speaker 2: You've got a real smart ass look on your face
- 7:34Speaker 2: right now. Ye.
- 7:36Speaker 6: I don't know what to tell you.
- 7:37Speaker 5: I don't have to tell you, I have Okay, So
- 7:41Speaker 5: yesterday I had to do There's this show that might
- 7:44Speaker 5: be the most ridiculous show that we have in the
- 7:47Speaker 5: entire company. Right we have four stations here. I think
- 7:49Speaker 5: this is the most ridiculous show ever. It's called Let's
- 7:51Speaker 5: Go Fishing with Kevin Ford.
- 7:53Speaker 6: Okay.
- 7:54Speaker 5: It's every Thursday from six pm to seven pm. I
- 7:58Speaker 5: had to do it last night because nobody else could
- 8:00Speaker 5: do it, and the regular producer's out right.
- 8:03Speaker 6: So sometimes Taylor knows this.
- 8:06Speaker 5: Sometimes he doesn't even come into the studio to do
- 8:09Speaker 5: the show. He does it like on the road because
- 8:11Speaker 5: he's out shrimping, Like he's literally like selling fit or
- 8:16Speaker 5: shrimp and like getting shrimp and everything whatever. So last
- 8:20Speaker 5: night was one of those shows where he does the
- 8:22Speaker 5: show from his phone. It was maybe the most disastrous
- 8:26Speaker 5: thing that I've ever like absurd thing too.
- 8:28Speaker 6: So none of his phone guests. Every segment he has.
- 8:32Speaker 5: A phone guest and they give you like a report
- 8:33Speaker 5: of the waters, and literally none of them answered on
- 8:39Speaker 5: the first try. I had to call each of them
- 8:42Speaker 5: multiple times. And then in the very last segment, the
- 8:46Speaker 5: guy's talking and he's like sixty five dollars on pump
- 8:51Speaker 5: tin on the phone. Kevin, He's like, sixty five dollars
- 8:54Speaker 5: on pump tin and the guy's like talking. He stops talking.
- 8:57Speaker 5: Kevin tells him like, no, no, keep going pumped. I
- 9:00Speaker 5: need sixty five dollars, and the guy's like giving his
- 9:02Speaker 5: report while Kevin is asking the gas station lady for
- 9:06Speaker 5: gas was giving her the wrong pump number.
- 9:09Speaker 6: The entire time.
- 9:10Speaker 5: He was like, not pumped twelve. And then the guy's
- 9:12Speaker 5: talking and then he's getting frustrated with the lady. He's like,
- 9:14Speaker 5: I'm trying to take care of this. I'm trying to
- 9:16Speaker 5: get diesel, I'm pumped in and do this show at
- 9:18Speaker 5: the same time, and we're like, don't do that. There's
- 9:24Speaker 5: like five minutes till the show is over. You can
- 9:26Speaker 5: have waited five minutes in your car to put diesel on.
- 9:28Speaker 5: It was the most ridiculous thing.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Got to check the waters.
- 9:32Speaker 6: It was I'm like, what are we doing?
- 9:35Speaker 2: So you were sitting in that chair?
- 9:37Speaker 5: No, no, no, it was downstairs in the top when
- 9:41Speaker 5: I was seven three studio.
- 9:42Speaker 2: The most important question are theut biten?
- 9:45Speaker 6: I have no idea.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Should we try to get him on today?
- 9:48Speaker 6: Kevin? Yeah we can.
- 9:51Speaker 2: I need to check.
- 9:52Speaker 6: He would be more than happy.
- 9:55Speaker 5: He got the diesel the wrong pump number the entire time,
- 10:00Speaker 5: and then after he was like, no, it's pump twelve,
- 10:01Speaker 5: he went back to pump ten.
- 10:04Speaker 6: It was wild.
- 10:05Speaker 2: All right, well good. You gotta make sure. Sometimes those signs.
- 10:08Speaker 4: Aren't real clear, you know, Yeah, they're not like right
- 10:12Speaker 4: above the car show, not at all?
- 10:15Speaker 2: All right? Was that your first time producing that show?
- 10:19Speaker 6: Like a long time ago.
- 10:21Speaker 4: I would assume doing the show remotely on a phone
- 10:25Speaker 4: and then connecting another another calling.
- 10:29Speaker 6: Yeah, it's not ideal, it's not great.
- 10:32Speaker 2: I mean we did it with Spence, Yeah.
- 10:35Speaker 6: We did, but that was like different. It's like a
- 10:39Speaker 6: video call that.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Was like with technology. Yeah, yeah, we made we had that.
- 10:44Speaker 2: We made that work. There's a reason we don't do
- 10:47Speaker 2: that when we're on remote.
- 10:52Speaker 4: We're also not calling in. We're also not just like
- 10:54Speaker 4: calling in to host the show. That's what I'm saying, Like,
- 10:57Speaker 4: there's a reason we don't do it like that. Don't
- 10:58Speaker 4: have that little fancy what's up, a little fancy piece
- 11:00Speaker 4: of equipment that y'all tell me not to put on.
- 11:03Speaker 2: The ground like I always do the comrades Comra.
- 11:08Speaker 6: That's a live shot, that's what it is. It's a
- 11:11Speaker 6: live shot.
- 11:12Speaker 2: I thought that was the camera.
- 11:14Speaker 6: That's a camera.
- 11:17Speaker 2: The camera's called the camera.
- 11:18Speaker 6: Com Rex is a live shot. It's a com Rex
- 11:23Speaker 6: live shot. Com Rex is the brand.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Yes, okayot shooting you live? Yeah, because it hooks up
- 11:32Speaker 2: the camera too.
- 11:33Speaker 6: Yeah, but it's just a camera. It's the device is
- 11:38Speaker 6: called a live shot.
- 11:39Speaker 7: Not still trying to figure out what we call cameras
- 11:41Speaker 7: the camera?
- 11:42Speaker 2: So what do you call cameras?
- 11:44Speaker 6: A camera?
- 11:45Speaker 2: All right? Okay, so cameras still cameras.
- 11:50Speaker 6: This is why I had to say computer, no work computer.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Lord. Well, guys, it's just gonna be one of those
- 11:58Speaker 2: types of days. Today.
- 12:00Speaker 4: We have what we got World Cup US a time
- 12:04Speaker 4: to put your USA flag shirts on, Taylor, I know
- 12:08Speaker 4: you burned all yours.
- 12:09Speaker 2: No, it's actually in my trunck. No, it's not. It's
- 12:13Speaker 2: the USA sweaters.
- 12:16Speaker 6: The trunk Knes brought us a bunch of World Cup swags.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think it's USA, thought.
- 12:24Speaker 6: Donovan USA, so.
- 12:25Speaker 2: USA soccer Jersey. But the Canes logo wanted his way,
- 12:30Speaker 2: all right, all right, I'd like to see it. It's
- 12:34Speaker 2: in the truck. I think he just says Raisin Canes.
- 12:36Speaker 6: It says Raisin Kings is very clearly American.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Yeah, like it even has like a red.
- 12:41Speaker 5: And Landon Donovan is the spokesperson for Yeah, his little
- 12:46Speaker 5: Canes is American.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Could be an next pep.
- 12:49Speaker 7: His little stand up things out there, he scared the
- 12:51Speaker 7: crap out of me about six times.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Yes, he does kind of just lurk in the corner
- 12:55Speaker 2: in there.
- 12:55Speaker 6: Hu Jake says. The stand up is taller than him.
- 12:59Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what he's said in the and the cutouts
- 13:02Speaker 4: pretty short.
- 13:03Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 13:05Speaker 2: I mean I feel like you don't have to be
- 13:07Speaker 2: that big to play soccer, right, Yeah, he don't.
- 13:10Speaker 5: Can you imagine being like super big and playing soccer
- 13:13Speaker 5: though you just be running everybody over?
- 13:14Speaker 4: Yeah, that's true. I mean I think the World Cup
- 13:17Speaker 4: it's going to be a bunch of small boys out there.
- 13:18Speaker 6: Yeah, I just smile.
- 13:20Speaker 4: I think actually somebody scored from uh Checchia last night
- 13:23Speaker 4: that was like six three.
- 13:25Speaker 2: I think giant. I think.
- 13:27Speaker 7: I mean, look, I just looked up line out Messy.
- 13:30Speaker 7: Decent soccer player.
- 13:31Speaker 4: We've heard of him. Huh, he's top seven. Yeah, but
- 13:33Speaker 4: the anouncer could have been wrong too. You could have
- 13:37Speaker 4: been talking in like centimeters or something. I don't know
- 13:42Speaker 4: what they call feet.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I don't know if they even.
- 13:46Speaker 4: They wouldn't abide, but I think they would just say it,
- 13:49Speaker 4: like they would just say like one point seven meters.
- 13:52Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 13:54Speaker 2: They do refer to soccer as footy a lot, though.
- 13:56Speaker 4: I do hear that that's because I kicked, but that's here,
- 13:59Speaker 4: not so not like six foot three inches.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Just because they kick it with their feet, right, I assume.
- 14:08Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 14:08Speaker 4: We're not going to pretend like we know what we're
- 14:10Speaker 4: talking about when it comes to soccer or the World Cup.
- 14:12Speaker 4: We're gonna talking about it, talk about it at least
- 14:15Speaker 4: a little bit. Let's see what else we got. LSU
- 14:18Speaker 4: baseball and gets another comment. We'll tell you about that. Yeah,
- 14:21Speaker 4: did you say something over basketball as well?
- 14:27Speaker 2: Yeah, she was making a joke about the Will Wade.
- 14:28Speaker 5: Recruit because he said there's a German in the that's
- 14:31Speaker 5: a possibility.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, I mean I don't think I wasn't fully joking.
- 14:36Speaker 2: I don't think he's playing football.
- 14:38Speaker 5: No, But they show recruits from every sport the I mean,
- 14:43Speaker 5: that's your biggest draws Tiger Stadium.
- 14:46Speaker 4: And they keep doing it. They keep doubling down, they
- 14:51Speaker 4: keep tripling down. Will you are also going to get
- 14:54Speaker 4: into the Texas Texas State of the Union address yesterday?
- 14:58Speaker 6: I missed that?
- 14:59Speaker 2: What you missed it?
- 15:01Speaker 6: They're making me angry?
- 15:02Speaker 2: Are you serious? What did you do yesterday? I'm over
- 15:06Speaker 2: the fishing thing.
- 15:08Speaker 6: I did the fishing thing. I went to Redee with
- 15:09Speaker 6: me again.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Did you just turn your phone off and then take
- 15:12Speaker 2: naps and go to sleep.
- 15:13Speaker 6: I didn't take any naps. I wish I did.
- 15:16Speaker 3: So.
- 15:16Speaker 2: You didn't see the Texas text date of the year.
- 15:18Speaker 2: I didn't. I didn't either. You didn't either. What is
- 15:21Speaker 2: y'all problem?
- 15:22Speaker 4: I'm over tech, dude, I'm done with it. Okay, you
- 15:25Speaker 4: can be over all you want, but if you just
- 15:28Speaker 4: don't live under a rock.
- 15:29Speaker 7: No, But like, if I'm scrolling social media and I
- 15:31Speaker 7: see something Texas Tech.
- 15:32Speaker 2: I'm scrolling like.
- 15:32Speaker 6: They did a whole press conference.
- 15:34Speaker 2: It was twenty two minutes. Stop of all.
- 15:38Speaker 6: I feel like you have.
- 15:39Speaker 2: To look over a table.
- 15:41Speaker 4: He told me about it with a mediator, a mediator, Yes,
- 15:46Speaker 4: the president, athletic director, head coach.
- 15:53Speaker 2: It wasn't Trump, okay, well not.
- 15:58Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, he's Trump.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Ask you questions, yeah he was? You ever heard of?
- 16:05Speaker 4: Who?

- 17:19Speaker 4: a pretty cool pool. And if you want to do
- 17:21Speaker 4: a pretty cool pool, go to Russell pool Russell Pools

- 17:26Speaker 4: of the highest quality pools custom pools around. What sets
- 17:31Speaker 4: them apart is is they can turn key any project.
- 17:34Speaker 4: They have two landscape architects right there on staff. So
- 17:37Speaker 4: you call them for the first time. You don't have
- 17:39Speaker 4: to have anything in mind. You maybe you go their
- 17:41Speaker 4: website and see their gallery work, but you can just say, hey,
- 17:43Speaker 4: I need to start the process.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Well, they can draw it up for you.
- 17:46Speaker 4: Don't have to go hire an architect, bring it to
- 17:48Speaker 4: a pool company and do that and get somebody else
- 17:50Speaker 4: to maintain it. Note they do everything from drawing it,
- 17:52Speaker 4: designing it, engineering it, building it, maintaining it right there,
- 17:55Speaker 4: Russell pools dot.
- 17:55Speaker 8: Com Sure.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Tiger's turn talkers. This is off the bench.
- 18:28Speaker 6: You got it? You leave.
- 18:38Speaker 8: Is broken?
- 18:40Speaker 6: Wennesday from it.
- 18:46Speaker 4: Down stroking, Hi, welcome back here off the bench seven
- 18:52Speaker 4: twenty two in the morning, Flynn wandr Te holding it
- 18:58Speaker 4: down and she's I'm sorry, Lady Kane as well, holding
- 19:02Speaker 4: it down. The tripod rolling with you all Friday morning
- 19:05Speaker 4: as mister Jacob Hester is cheering on Honey Baseball World Series.
- 19:14Speaker 4: Hopefully they're hitting a lot of dangers. Don't laugh, Taylor, do.
- 19:25Speaker 2: You know what is laughable? Texas Tech?
- 19:32Speaker 4: Texas Tech continues. It's I guess it's world tour of
- 19:37Speaker 4: just pissing everybody off. This week, a lot has been said,
- 19:42Speaker 4: a lot has been made, a lot of lawsuits thrown
- 19:44Speaker 4: out there injunctions flung around to get Brendan Soresby.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Eligible to play.
- 19:52Speaker 4: But yesterday they just continue the cringe worthiness of what
- 19:59Speaker 4: Texas Tech is doing right now continues to roll and
- 20:03Speaker 4: it keeps getting just like you can either call it
- 20:05Speaker 4: better and better every day or worse and worse every day.
- 20:08Speaker 4: I think either one works because they just continue to
- 20:14Speaker 4: double down, triple down, whatever you want to call it.
- 20:18Speaker 4: They continue to the to dig deeper with the we're
- 20:22Speaker 4: the good guy playing the we're the good guy. How
- 20:25Speaker 4: dare you look at us wrong card? You idiots just
- 20:31Speaker 4: don't see it that we're doing the right thing right now.
- 20:35Speaker 4: We did nothing wrong, but guess what, We'll sue your ass.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Not a big deal Texas Tech they do.
- 20:42Speaker 4: I guess you could say a round table discussion like
- 20:47Speaker 4: interview video that they released, everybody a state of the
- 20:51Speaker 4: Union with I think the guy, I think the Texas
- 20:54Speaker 4: Tech president Lawrence chauvinek. We got head coach Joe MacGuire,
- 20:59Speaker 4: Ad Kirby ho cut here, and then the I think
- 21:02Speaker 4: the associate ad over there on the left, and like
- 21:05Speaker 4: some other he's like a he has another title of
- 21:07Speaker 4: like player development or player whisper or something like that.
- 21:11Speaker 4: Somebody is like in charge of their mental health or
- 21:14Speaker 4: something like that.
- 21:14Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 21:15Speaker 4: And then this guy with a microphone. He's I'm assuming
- 21:19Speaker 4: he's like one of their broadcasters, announcers something. He's the mediator,
- 21:24Speaker 4: like mediating questions going around the room with microphones and everything.
- 21:29Speaker 2: And this is like a produced piece of This is
- 21:32Speaker 2: produce video.
- 21:33Speaker 4: And obviously they probably probably took him four hours to make.
- 21:37Speaker 4: This is a twenty two minutes of them basically lecturing
- 21:42Speaker 4: everybody about how they're the good guys and we're the
- 21:45Speaker 4: idiots who think Brendan Sorosby should be kicked out at
- 21:50Speaker 4: college football for betting ninety thousand dollars on college sports.
- 21:56Speaker 7: I'm assuming it was like message, did question right? Like,
- 22:01Speaker 7: they're not in front of a live audience.
- 22:04Speaker 4: No, this is a mediator here, who's mediating the entire Yeah,
- 22:07Speaker 4: it's not. This is not They are not taking questions
- 22:09Speaker 4: from anybody except for this guy with the Texas Tech
- 22:13Speaker 4: quarters up. They continue to be like, we did nothing wrong,
- 22:20Speaker 4: but guess what will also sue you and do the
- 22:25Speaker 4: right thing. Everybody with your opinion, This kid didn't kill anybody.
- 22:29Speaker 4: That's like the message they keep sending.
- 22:30Speaker 2: To So do you watch this?
- 22:32Speaker 4: I watched the first couple of minutes and then I
- 22:34Speaker 4: was like, I can't watch this.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Did Joey Maguire bring up an SEC program?
- 22:39Speaker 4: I didn't even watch it get to him because they
- 22:41Speaker 4: started on the hierarchy. They started with the big boss man.
- 22:44Speaker 4: They started with the President, then they went to the ad.
- 22:46Speaker 4: Then I assume they got to him at some point.
- 22:49Speaker 4: But then I saw like clips coming out throughout the
- 22:52Speaker 4: rest of the day, Like there's even a point where
- 22:55Speaker 4: the President is talking about we really need to rethink
- 22:58Speaker 4: our rules. These rules were in place before everybody in
- 23:05Speaker 4: the world or America was walking around with a gambling
- 23:08Speaker 4: apparatus in their pocket, access to a completely legal way
- 23:13Speaker 4: of gambling all the time. So basically trying to make
- 23:16Speaker 4: not light of it, but say the rules might need
- 23:19Speaker 4: to be adjusted because sports gambling is such a big
- 23:22Speaker 4: part of our society and it's all legal.
- 23:25Speaker 2: So he's like saying, well, this is you know, these
- 23:28Speaker 2: rules are a little bit outdated.
- 23:30Speaker 4: He still has a medically diagnosed condition, but it does
- 23:36Speaker 4: need to be amended because everybody's walking around with you know,
- 23:40Speaker 4: whatever DraftKings or whatever in their pocket.
- 23:42Speaker 7: I don't really understand why people can't understand the difference
- 23:45Speaker 7: between fans and players, Like the three of us can
- 23:48Speaker 7: put together a parlay on the World Cup the second
- 23:52Speaker 7: we walk out of this building and guess what, it
- 23:53Speaker 7: has no impact on the outcome of that game. I
- 23:57Speaker 7: don't understand why nobody they're like everybody else gets to
- 23:59Speaker 7: bet on it. I'd like to play college football, but
- 24:02Speaker 7: I can't. You'd like to bet on sports, but you can't.
- 24:05Speaker 7: There's a give and take and everywhere in life. I
- 24:07Speaker 7: don't really see how they don't realize that, or maybe
- 24:09Speaker 7: they do and they just think everybody else is stupid.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Well that's kind of.
- 24:13Speaker 5: The they do realize that they're just playing a PR
- 24:16Speaker 5: game right now, Yeah.
- 24:18Speaker 4: They are playing a PR game, and like, look, they're
- 24:19Speaker 4: doing a terrible job. If I was in their shoes,
- 24:22Speaker 4: I don't know what I do differently. I know we
- 24:24Speaker 4: talked yesterday, like if you're going to be the villain,
- 24:26Speaker 4: just be the villain to say, hey, yeah we know
- 24:28Speaker 4: we got it, blah blah blah, we're gonna break the rules,
- 24:30Speaker 4: and yeah they shouldn't be playing, but hey we're we
- 24:33Speaker 4: found the loophole. Like that's one way. I don't think
- 24:36Speaker 4: anybody's actually doing that. Like I think that maybe in
- 24:40Speaker 4: this really terrible situation, maybe they're doing the best that
- 24:44Speaker 4: can can be done. I have no idea. Maybe they
- 24:47Speaker 4: shouldn't just maybe they should just say nothing. Yeah, but
- 24:51Speaker 4: I don't know this whole situation has got everybody up
- 24:55Speaker 4: in arms, got everybody disgusted.
- 25:00Speaker 2: My opinion is it's just, I don't know, kind of.
- 25:03Speaker 4: Par for the course for college sports right now, it's
- 25:06Speaker 4: all it's all screwed up. Well, it's crazy though. It's
- 25:08Speaker 4: like you look at gambling. You can't obviously gasp. In
- 25:12Speaker 4: the It's been the staple of sports. It's been like
- 25:15Speaker 4: the integrity level. Like you can't gamble on sports if
- 25:19Speaker 4: you are an athlete, got it. Okay, if you want to,
- 25:22Speaker 4: if you play football and you want to gamble on
- 25:24Speaker 4: a baseball game in the offseason, Okay, I can see.
- 25:27Speaker 2: I can see those things changing in the future.
- 25:34Speaker 4: But it got me like Pete Rose had to die
- 25:37Speaker 4: before baseball forgave him, right before they forgave him for
- 25:43Speaker 4: for gambling, he had to die Iowa. There's remember the
- 25:47Speaker 4: Ioway Iowa defensive tackle Noah Shannon. So he saw his
- 25:53Speaker 4: career at Iowa not too long ago come to an
- 25:56Speaker 4: end because he placed a ten dollars bet on Caitlin Clark.
- 26:00Speaker 6: Again, I kind of remember that a little bit now.
- 26:01Speaker 4: Yeah, ten dollars bet on his own schools women's basketball team. Yeah,
- 26:06Speaker 4: when Caitlyn cars was there, placed a bet on them,
- 26:09Speaker 4: got caught, kicked off the team, his college career came
- 26:13Speaker 4: to an end. Soresby plays forty bets on Indiana football
- 26:19Speaker 4: underage and a total of ninety thousand dollars, and but
- 26:24Speaker 4: he'll be back before the Big twelve opener.
- 26:26Speaker 6: I think the underage part were kind of glossing over.
- 26:29Speaker 4: Right, because that's like illegal, not just within of college football.
- 26:34Speaker 6: But we haven't everywhere, we haven't talked about that at all.
- 26:36Speaker 5: Right, that's one of the parts that kind of got
- 26:38Speaker 5: buried that he's he was doing all this underage too.
- 26:41Speaker 6: That's another bigger rule outside of.
- 26:45Speaker 4: Rule.
- 26:46Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, but that's what I'm saying.
- 26:47Speaker 5: He's avoiding every single one of them.
- 26:50Speaker 4: Because he plays forty at the Indiana underage He bet
- 26:54Speaker 4: on his own team, bet on the under on his
- 26:56Speaker 4: own team, and just all sorts. Let me just breaking
- 26:59Speaker 4: rolls all over them, yeah right, and they just keep
- 27:02Speaker 4: digging their heels into This kid has a medical condition,
- 27:06Speaker 4: got a medical condition. He's a diagnosed, clinically diagnosed condition.
- 27:12Speaker 2: I don't see why that matters.
- 27:13Speaker 6: Digging your heels in is what is getting me on this.
- 27:17Speaker 7: I wonder if they genuinely did not expect any backlash
- 27:20Speaker 7: from this, and they're just freaking out in panic committed.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Like I don't it kind of seems like that.
- 27:26Speaker 4: They're trying to play the sympathetic far, like, hey, we
- 27:29Speaker 4: understand the sensitivity the situation, but they're also doing the
- 27:32Speaker 4: lecturing situation. And they keep talking about the addiction, the addictions, addiction.
- 27:37Speaker 4: Addiction is bad, Okay, can we just say that off
- 27:40Speaker 4: the bench? We know addiction is bad. Yeah, but they
- 27:43Speaker 4: are trying to paint this picture that he's like a
- 27:48Speaker 4: twenty year alcoholic drug addict that has ruined his life,
- 27:53Speaker 4: his family's life, he's broke, like they're trying to paint
- 27:56Speaker 4: the picture of that. No, the kid made decisions to gamble.
- 28:00Speaker 6: Yeah, that's like a car And we get it.
- 28:02Speaker 4: It is an addiction, but like, there's levels. Can we
- 28:08Speaker 4: all just stop pretending that there's not like levels to addiction? Yes,
- 28:13Speaker 4: how different addictions can ruin things at different levels.
- 28:18Speaker 6: Nobody cared about the addiction until it was reported from
- 28:22Speaker 6: like until the NC double A got involved, Like.
- 28:26Speaker 5: Cincinnati knew about this, Indiana knew about this. Nobody cared
- 28:30Speaker 5: that he was addicted until it started to come out,
- 28:33Speaker 5: So this was going to be Texas text plan the
- 28:36Speaker 5: entire time. I think, obviously you do expect some backlash,
- 28:40Speaker 5: but I think at this point they've doubled down so
- 28:43Speaker 5: much on it that they're just going to continue to
- 28:45Speaker 5: dig their heels in, no matter how dumb they look.
- 28:49Speaker 7: Also, just because you're an addict means you get to play,
- 28:53Speaker 7: I would think that would be even worse, and it's
- 28:55Speaker 7: a better reason for you to not play. They keep saying,
- 28:57Speaker 7: we you gott to let him play. Guys, he's an addict.
- 29:00Speaker 7: They will go get the help he needs off the field.
- 29:01Speaker 4: He should probably be away from college football as far
- 29:05Speaker 4: as possible if he's so addicted to gambling on it. Yeah,
- 29:07Speaker 4: and they talk about like, hey, he's been working at
- 29:09Speaker 4: this his whole life. How we can't let this mistake
- 29:12Speaker 4: ruin his future. Yeah, absolutely, that's what happens. Like, that's
- 29:16Speaker 4: what happens when you break the rules.
- 29:17Speaker 7: What about when when somebody gets a d w I
- 29:20Speaker 7: and gets a car accident. Did they just not get
- 29:22Speaker 7: in trouble because oh, well, I mean, you shouldn't ruin
- 29:25Speaker 7: your life over this.
- 29:26Speaker 4: They been working really hard, Yeah, and he's tried really hard.
- 29:29Speaker 4: They had a great driving record before that. And I
- 29:33Speaker 4: know it's a sensitive, like the addiction thing, this is
- 29:35Speaker 4: a very sensitive topic because it's a real topic, and
- 29:38Speaker 4: I hope he gets the help that he needs if,
- 29:41Speaker 4: like he indeed has a gambling addiction. The problem is
- 29:47Speaker 4: when things are in the public eye like this, people
- 29:49Speaker 4: use that term. And I'm saying this is the case,
- 29:51Speaker 4: but people do use that term to skirt the leality,
- 29:57Speaker 4: skirt the to avoid more serious planet. They use that
- 30:02Speaker 4: term as an excuse a lot of times, and I'm
- 30:04Speaker 4: not again, I'm not saying that's the case, but we
- 30:07Speaker 4: do have to, like if we all look in the mirror,
- 30:10Speaker 4: like there are different levels, two different addictions, substance abuse,
- 30:15Speaker 4: things like that, and it feels like they are trying
- 30:19Speaker 4: to pigeonhole this into a.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Some sort of.
- 30:26Speaker 4: Addiction that they're making it sound a lot worse than
- 30:29Speaker 4: it could be. So I know that's the sense of
- 30:32Speaker 4: talking to that, and and you know, I might be
- 30:34Speaker 4: sticking my foot in my mouth saying that, but I
- 30:36Speaker 4: think we all agree, like.
- 30:37Speaker 2: There's different levels of addiction and there are people can
- 30:40Speaker 2: take advantage of that word. They're making light of it,
- 30:42Speaker 2: they're making light of it and it's a little distress.
- 30:44Speaker 6: That's what I'm saying yesterday.
- 30:45Speaker 5: It is disrespectful to people that actually struggle with like
- 30:48Speaker 5: deep addictions that are taking over their lives. I don't
- 30:52Speaker 5: think that gambling took over Brendan Sowersby's life.
- 30:55Speaker 4: Yeah, in quick condom young man, Like, I get it.
- 30:59Speaker 7: There were people in Twitter yesterday saying, if you grown
- 31:01Speaker 7: adults are going to attack this kid online like he's
- 31:04Speaker 7: twenty two year old grown ass man.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Yeah, get over yourself.
- 31:07Speaker 4: He made some decisions under age, and he's made some
- 31:09Speaker 4: decisions as a young man, and he still is a
- 31:12Speaker 4: young man. Okay, we're not saying that, but he is
- 31:16Speaker 4: by definition a grown ass man.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Right.
- 31:19Speaker 4: But you know what Texas Tech, the way the college
- 31:24Speaker 4: Athletics says, I say, get after it, Go do your thing.
- 31:28Speaker 4: I hope it works. I don't care. Go and get him,
- 31:33Speaker 4: go win the national championship.
- 31:35Speaker 2: I hope he.
- 31:36Speaker 4: Wins the heisman. I want you to break the system
- 31:39Speaker 4: so badly. I want you to shatter the system so
- 31:44Speaker 4: badly that they're forced to fix it. So go do
- 31:48Speaker 4: your thing. Whatever you're gonna do it anyway, you're gonna
- 31:53Speaker 4: lecture us about it.
- 31:54Speaker 2: And tell us how dumb we are. Oh well, all.
- 31:57Speaker 6: Right, you're gaslighting us. They are. They're trying to.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Do the all thing. Like, let's come back. Let's talk
- 32:06Speaker 2: about it when we come back.
- 32:07Speaker 4: But the the way college sports is, do you think like,
- 32:11Speaker 4: if it gets bad enough, if enough things happen, is
- 32:14Speaker 4: that the only way to force change.
- 32:15Speaker 2: We're going to talk about that a little bit more. Well,
- 32:18Speaker 2: we come back right.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Here, off the bench, Off the bench.
- 32:22Speaker 4: All right, it's GOCP. Yeah, you know me. Golf Coast
- 32:27Speaker 4: Office Products. If you are looking, if you work in
- 32:30Speaker 4: an office, if you run an office, if you own
- 32:32Speaker 4: a business, manage a business, whatever it is, make sure
- 32:35Speaker 4: you're working with the best office technology in all of Louisiana,
- 32:40Speaker 4: hell might even be the whole country. Golf Coast Office
- 32:42Speaker 4: Products for locations right here in Louisiana, we're talking. Louisiana's
- 32:48Speaker 4: a leader in printers, copiers, scanners, keeping that paper trail
- 32:53Speaker 4: running and running smoothly all day long, all week long,
- 32:57Speaker 4: all year long, when it matters the most at your business,
- 33:00Speaker 4: because you know, like if you've worked in that business
- 33:02Speaker 4: and something goes down, if that scanner goes down, that
- 33:05Speaker 4: printer at copyer. It goes down, you know that, Like
- 33:09Speaker 4: pretty much business comes a hall. It's all about that page.
- 33:11Speaker 4: Even in this like digital world, like the paper trail
- 33:14Speaker 4: is what matters at an office. And they got an
- 33:16Speaker 4: award winning service team. They can get you back up
- 33:17Speaker 4: a rounding. If something were to happen, you call them.
- 33:20Speaker 4: You talk to a human right there. Go check them out.
- 33:22Speaker 8: Gcop net dot com.
- 33:45Speaker 1: You don't know what.
- 33:49Speaker 3: Tiger's turn talkers. This is off the bench, all right.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Welcome back here, off the bench.
- 34:00Speaker 4: A lot of good uh chat in the chat A
- 34:04Speaker 4: lot of people apparently when you talk about gambling and
- 34:09Speaker 4: Texas Tech in college sports, there's opinions, there's opinions, a
- 34:14Speaker 4: lot of chatter. I love it, and I think this
- 34:21Speaker 4: is like one of the few times everybody's kind of
- 34:23Speaker 4: have the has.
- 34:24Speaker 2: The same opinion.
- 34:25Speaker 6: Everybody but people.
- 34:27Speaker 4: The people at that round table, probably even Sorensby's probably like, yeah,
- 34:30Speaker 4: probably shouldn't play like.
- 34:36Speaker 2: You're kind of talking.
- 34:37Speaker 4: Like the playbook that Texas Tech is using is probably
- 34:40Speaker 4: the playbook that every single university professional team would use. Again,
- 34:47Speaker 4: let's not make let's not light to ourselves. If this
- 34:51Speaker 4: was the number four receiver on their team. He's off
- 34:55Speaker 4: the team, like it's this isn't a discussion, even though
- 34:58Speaker 4: they tried to tell us multiple times in their State
- 35:01Speaker 4: of the Union. This isn't just this isn't every person
- 35:06Speaker 4: at Texas Tech. It's not just Brent's towards Mey, we
- 35:09Speaker 4: just got here.
- 35:10Speaker 6: I love that you keep calling him Brent.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Whatever. It's whatever.
- 35:16Speaker 6: Who cares?
- 35:16Speaker 2: Who?
- 35:18Speaker 5: No, But you brought up a good example or somebody
- 35:21Speaker 5: texted you a good example during the break. It's the
- 35:23Speaker 5: playbook Tiger Woods, you know, addicted to something.
- 35:28Speaker 2: He was addicted to sexual addiction. Here's a sexual devian.
- 35:32Speaker 5: So they were calling him an addict, and they're trying
- 35:34Speaker 5: to get you to feel bad for him.
- 35:35Speaker 2: And it just around.
- 35:41Speaker 6: Yeah, they try to make you feel bad for them.
- 35:42Speaker 6: It's classic.
- 35:45Speaker 5: They're just I think people are just so over how
- 35:48Speaker 5: dumb college sports are that this kind of just made
- 35:51Speaker 5: everybody rage because it's such an obvious, glaring example of
- 35:56Speaker 5: somebody being able to blend bend the rules. Hunter Deckers
- 36:00Speaker 5: got fanned for this. You just brought up somebody.
- 36:04Speaker 2: Yeah, so a defensive tackle at Iowa.
- 36:06Speaker 4: Yeah, ten dollars bet on when Caitlin Clark was playing right,
- 36:10Speaker 4: I mean.
- 36:10Speaker 5: Who wasn't yeah right right, kicked off the team and
- 36:14Speaker 5: somebody here and he was over eighteen too. Somebody texted,
- 36:18Speaker 5: should there be backlash to Cincy in Indiana?
- 36:20Speaker 1: This?
- 36:21Speaker 5: That is what Raider fans keep saying, what about them?
- 36:23Speaker 5: And I think there should be two. But to be fair,
- 36:26Speaker 5: Texas Tech, they're getting punished on a public level or
- 36:32Speaker 5: in the public eye, they're getting published or punished that way,
- 36:36Speaker 5: but in terms of an actual punishment from the nc DOUBLEA,
- 36:40Speaker 5: they're not getting punished. Brendan Soorsby is so I don't
- 36:43Speaker 5: think that there's anything that Texas Tech from what I've
- 36:46Speaker 5: read and understand, we've.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Got a five million dollar punishment.
- 36:50Speaker 6: Yeah, but they're the ones that invested that five million.
- 36:52Speaker 4: I'll assume he's not gonna get the five million if
- 36:54Speaker 4: he is suspended.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, I mean we know what he's gonna do
- 36:57Speaker 2: with it. Double prop bet.
- 37:01Speaker 7: Also, Cincinnati and Indiana are not coming out acting like
- 37:03Speaker 7: they're the victims either, So they're not catching the public
- 37:07Speaker 7: take the NCAA.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Out of it.
- 37:08Speaker 7: They're not catching the public attacks on lines because I
- 37:10Speaker 7: haven't seen the Cincinnati head coach and athletic director come
- 37:13Speaker 7: out and be like, guys, we didn't do it. Okay,
- 37:15Speaker 7: guy's an addict. We did the best we could. Like, yeah,
- 37:18Speaker 7: they're not doing that either. They're not trying to play
- 37:20Speaker 7: the victim like Texas Tech is. So that's probably why
- 37:22Speaker 7: people don't hate them.
- 37:23Speaker 4: Come on, everybody, see it our way. We're the good
- 37:26Speaker 4: guys here, we are the victims. I mean, we did
- 37:30Speaker 4: nothing wrong, but we will sue you to prove a point.
- 37:35Speaker 5: Yeah, well it's up with the Attorney General Kim Paxton
- 37:39Speaker 5: out here just getting rid.
- 37:41Speaker 6: Of and Texas texts like my daddy'll sue you. Here
- 37:43Speaker 6: comes daddy Kim Paxton. Just I'll sue you if you
- 37:47Speaker 6: keep doing this.
- 37:47Speaker 2: Whether it's legal or not.
- 37:50Speaker 7: I just always questioned, like the amount of stuff that's
- 37:52Speaker 7: probably on the Attorney General of Texas's desk.
- 37:55Speaker 2: This is what you're concerned about. This is it? Like
- 37:58Speaker 2: all these judges that are like, oh, I got.
- 38:01Speaker 7: To get in there real quick and and and file
- 38:03Speaker 7: this ruling against the NCAA, all the crap going on.
- 38:06Speaker 2: This is what you're worried about. This is it? This
- 38:08Speaker 2: is top of mind. This is I mean, well the.
- 38:14Speaker 4: Red Raider football so yeah, but like the playbooks that
- 38:18Speaker 4: they're using is what they probably should have used. Right there,
- 38:22Speaker 4: they are sending a rehab painting, the playing the victim card.
- 38:27Speaker 4: They're doing like this is public relations one one right here,
- 38:31Speaker 4: and they're they're doing the right things. They're saying, this
- 38:34Speaker 4: is not just that like, this is we want to
- 38:35Speaker 4: take care, we want to take care of his future,
- 38:38Speaker 4: we want to take care of the kid, get him
- 38:40Speaker 4: help he deserves. We understood. And they're also saying like,
- 38:42Speaker 4: we understand it's bad and what he did was wrong,
- 38:45Speaker 4: but let's great on a scale here a little bit.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Yeah, they're just doing it too. They're doing too much.
- 38:51Speaker 4: They should have given they should have gave like one.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Statement, okay, then disappear. Yeah.
- 38:58Speaker 4: But but to Taylor point during the break, like if
- 39:01Speaker 4: they never even said anything, they are not getting as
- 39:04Speaker 4: much backlash as they probably are not. And they and
- 39:07Speaker 4: if you just look at the words, they aren't necessarily
- 39:10Speaker 4: doing anything wrong. It just really highlights the fact of
- 39:13Speaker 4: how wrong this situation is because even though they're saying
- 39:16Speaker 4: they let's say, air quote like the right things, it
- 39:20Speaker 4: still makes them look worse because this is such a
- 39:24Speaker 4: terrible like situation and this injunction is such a joke
- 39:28Speaker 4: and a mockery of the sport that we all love,
- 39:33Speaker 4: that everybody loves, since they could hold a football, since
- 39:38Speaker 4: they go watch TV and cheer on their team, everybody
- 39:42Speaker 4: loves it. And this is a complete mockery of it.
- 39:45Speaker 4: And this whole let's just be honest, like this whole
- 39:47Speaker 4: past couple of years has been a complete mockery as well.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, college anthletics is such a joke. So how
- 39:53Speaker 2: do y'all feel about that?
- 39:54Speaker 4: Like, is the only way to Let's just use the
- 39:59Speaker 4: word fix, fix college sports, fix college football. And I
- 40:04Speaker 4: use that term very loosely because I don't have a
- 40:06Speaker 4: better term for it right now. To adjust it, to
- 40:09Speaker 4: fix it, to roll back some of the stuff. You're
- 40:12Speaker 4: never going back back to what it used to be.
- 40:15Speaker 4: I get that. I'm not I'm not an idiot. I
- 40:17Speaker 4: get that it is the only way to do it.
- 40:20Speaker 4: Situations like this that are so so crazy and ridiculous
- 40:25Speaker 4: that eventually legislation whoever saving and the president, I don't
- 40:31Speaker 4: care who it is, Like, does it have to be
- 40:34Speaker 4: so outrageously bad and broken?
- 40:36Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 40:37Speaker 6: To fix it, there's always a tipping point.
- 40:40Speaker 2: And something like sometimes you can't tip it, you gotta
- 40:43Speaker 2: smash it. I thought this was it.
- 40:44Speaker 7: I thought new chance in hell any judge rules against
- 40:47Speaker 7: the nca on this. I know they love to do that.
- 40:50Speaker 7: This is where they draw the line. And that didn't happen.
- 40:53Speaker 7: Like I really thought this was going to be the
- 40:54Speaker 7: tipping point. And I mean, unless something changes, I don't
- 40:57Speaker 7: really know what the tipping point is.
- 40:59Speaker 5: But it hasn't gotten to that point yet because the
- 41:01Speaker 5: NCAA right now, I mean their hands are kind of tied.
- 41:04Speaker 6: There's not a lot they can do. They set that date.
- 41:06Speaker 6: I mean they can file of true hell or whatever,
- 41:08Speaker 6: but I mean, like huh.
- 41:10Speaker 2: They wag their finger.
- 41:11Speaker 5: Yeah. I think this is one of those things like
- 41:13Speaker 5: when I say tipping point, this is like the example
- 41:15Speaker 5: that's going to be made, like.
- 41:18Speaker 2: You, this is what they were doing.
- 41:20Speaker 5: Lack of a better way to say it. You have
- 41:21Speaker 5: to make Brendan Sores be an example here.
- 41:23Speaker 4: So I think Saban when he testified recently, was it testified,
- 41:28Speaker 4: I don't even know what was that one?
- 41:29Speaker 6: He did?
- 41:29Speaker 4: Think you just spooked the Congress like Trinidad and stuff
- 41:32Speaker 4: that Now this is the example. Yeah, if we want change,
- 41:35Speaker 4: this is and it's a good one. So I hope
- 41:36Speaker 4: that's why I said, I hope it works. I hope
- 41:38Speaker 4: he plays. I hope he has an amazing season and
- 41:42Speaker 4: they win a lot of games, and then it all
- 41:44Speaker 4: has to get rolled back and he doesn't get drafted,
- 41:46Speaker 4: like I hope, like I hope it breaks drafted. I
- 41:48Speaker 4: hope it breaks it so much that some sort of
- 41:52Speaker 4: change and what that changes. I got no idea, but man,
- 41:54Speaker 4: I think it's probably on the field. Awesome, great gets it.
- 42:00Speaker 4: It's awesome. Nobody can complain on that. Everything else is
- 42:02Speaker 4: just stupid. So anyway, I feel like an old man
- 42:07Speaker 4: now yelling from the lawn, yelling at the clouds. All right,
- 42:12Speaker 4: gotta go to break stick with us right here, off.
