- 3:33Speaker 11: Like twenty eight.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Oh really, because I tried looking the other day and
- 3:37Speaker 3: we were like one sixty because it was like really
- 3:39Speaker 3: early in the morning. Yeah, and then I forgot to
- 3:41Speaker 3: check the YouTube. Yeah, oh from this year or oh yeah,
- 3:49Speaker 3: it's all getting like it's like thirty five k an
- 3:51Speaker 3: episode pretty much.
- 3:52Speaker 5: It's not morey, let's keep going.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Why the hell not?
- 3:56Speaker 5: We found something. Clips are working, Arguments are working, we
- 4:01Speaker 5: argue lords.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Alright, ready, yep, already, Welcome back to the Son of
- 4:08Speaker 3: a Boy Dad podcast. Today. It's February twenty six, two
- 4:13Speaker 3: thirty pm.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Francis came in this morning and he was like, do
- 4:17Speaker 1: I have five minutes to throw up?
- 4:20Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 4:22Speaker 1: He was like, and it's perfect for like the stories
- 4:25Speaker 1: that he does, because he was just like, I just
- 4:27Speaker 1: I made short rib for dinner a couple of nights ago,
- 4:30Speaker 1: and this morning I ate the rest of my short
- 4:33Speaker 1: rib and then drank all the juices from the bottle.
- 4:35Speaker 1: My short rib and then by the time he got
- 4:38Speaker 1: to work, he was pulling trigger making himself bro.
- 4:41Speaker 5: I threw up, I really did. This isn't like a
- 4:44Speaker 5: This isn't like I almost threw up. I dry head.
- 4:47Speaker 5: I had four upheavals.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Tommy said that he heard it. So Francis went in
- 4:52Speaker 1: the private bathroom and Tommy said he heard it in
- 4:55Speaker 1: the other bathroom. I mean it was going through the dust.
- 4:57Speaker 5: Yeah, sure, I knew the whole. I took an uber
- 5:01Speaker 5: in this morning. We're going to the airport later, and
- 5:05Speaker 5: that's why I had to eat this. I cooked short
- 5:07Speaker 5: rib on Sunday. Actually I cooked it on Saturday over
- 5:11Speaker 5: five hours, and then short rib is a really long
- 5:13Speaker 5: the long, low and slow kind of braised whatever, and
- 5:17Speaker 5: really took my time with it, and then I let
- 5:19Speaker 5: it sit overnight so that I could scoop the layer
- 5:22Speaker 5: of fat off, which condenses the gravy and makes it
- 5:24Speaker 5: even more flavorful. And then reheated it the next day
- 5:27Speaker 5: and had some. If you've never had short rib before,
- 5:31Speaker 5: it's kind of like a once in a blue moon dish.
- 5:34Speaker 1: So it's the heaviest food that you can have.
- 5:36Speaker 5: It's tough to eat. I really have a hard time
- 5:39Speaker 5: eating it. I have a I guess I have a
- 5:41Speaker 5: sensitive stomach, especially really rich, fatty red meat.
- 5:46Speaker 3: So yeah, because you puked in the bathroom after there,
- 5:48Speaker 3: you ate steak.
- 5:51Speaker 5: On that flight, yeah, I did when we oh in
- 5:53Speaker 5: Chicago after eating the steak. Yeah, if you're allergic to
- 5:56Speaker 5: red meat, well that was a lot of booze too,
- 5:59Speaker 5: and that was just like a huge meal.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Yeah, but I don't, like most people don't just project
- 6:03Speaker 3: al vamed after a big.
- 6:05Speaker 5: But I induce it because I know I feel awful
- 6:08Speaker 5: and I'll feel better.
- 6:12Speaker 1: For a long time.
- 6:13Speaker 3: It's that's like borderline.
- 6:14Speaker 5: It's it's highly functioning. Blim you like, so.
- 6:18Speaker 3: You didn't have to throw up? You were just like,
- 6:20Speaker 3: I'll feel better if I throw up. Yeah, I felt so.
- 6:24Speaker 5: I felt so bad that I wouldn't have felt better
- 6:28Speaker 5: unless I threw up. And I have a flight today,
- 6:30Speaker 5: long flight. Like I'm not I'm not facing that, but.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I mean it does seem like a disorder. It seems
- 6:35Speaker 1: like it's very under control.
- 6:37Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, ordered it's uh, I mean that's crazy.
- 6:41Speaker 5: It's a skill. I think it's a skill.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Why not just like pop a Tom's feel better in
- 6:48Speaker 3: like three minutes.
- 6:48Speaker 5: Tom's helps with heartburn, and stuff.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Helps with everything.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Pepto bismal helps with everything, heartburn, introdomach.
- 6:56Speaker 3: If you take like an ammodium and the tombs, you're good.
- 6:58Speaker 5: Modium stops you from diaby diarrhea. But I it helps
- 7:02Speaker 5: too well.
- 7:03Speaker 3: I don't want.
- 7:04Speaker 5: To stop myself up.
- 7:07Speaker 3: I do.
- 7:07Speaker 5: I want to get it out.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I try to stop it all the time.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Francis was pulling full chunks of short rip out of
- 7:13Speaker 1: his like a dog.
- 7:14Speaker 5: Who yeah, yeah, it was like I was clearing a drain.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Ros it just stuck a drain down his throat.
- 7:23Speaker 5: And I'm curious about the mentality, because I I, this
- 7:29Speaker 5: is the way I think. And I cooked all this
- 7:32Speaker 5: short rib. I cooked five pounds of short rip, that
- 7:34Speaker 5: was what the reci be called for. And I cooked
- 7:36Speaker 5: it for me and a friend and we ate one
- 7:42Speaker 5: eighth of it on the first night, five lb a lot.
- 7:45Speaker 5: And then I brought home the rest. I had five
- 7:48Speaker 5: more ribs, full ribs, gigantic ribs, just sitting in this
- 7:51Speaker 5: pool of mirror pois and gravy time sprigs, garlic, you know.
- 7:59Speaker 5: And uh, I'm trying to tell this story fast, but
- 8:02Speaker 5: I'm a little delirious right now from throwing up. I
- 8:07Speaker 5: threw up like four hours ago, I know, but it
- 8:09Speaker 5: shook me, shook me to my core.
- 8:11Speaker 1: He was covered in sweat when he came out.
- 8:13Speaker 5: My eyes were bloods, like I lost someone.
- 8:17Speaker 3: If I threw up, I wouldn't I would have just
- 8:18Speaker 3: gone home. But I also don't throw up.
- 8:21Speaker 5: If you were on the verge of throwing up, you
- 8:23Speaker 5: never would have left home.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Yes, but that's like I think, that's that's not like weird.
- 8:28Speaker 5: Well again, this isn't and this isn't flu. It's not
- 8:32Speaker 5: it's not illness. It's just I made So that's the
- 8:37Speaker 5: other thing. So I eat the short because I know
- 8:40Speaker 5: I'm leaving today and if I don't eat the short rib,
- 8:43Speaker 5: I'm gonna have to throw it out. I hate wasting food.
- 8:45Speaker 5: I spent so much time cooking this fucking thing that
- 8:48Speaker 5: I said to myself, you know what, I'm just gonna
- 8:49Speaker 5: eat it for breakfast. I'm gonna eat short rib at
- 8:53Speaker 5: eight a m. That is not a food you should
- 8:56Speaker 5: start your day with. It's probably toxic that early in
- 9:00Speaker 5: the morning, until you've had something else to coat your
- 9:03Speaker 5: stomach with.
- 9:03Speaker 1: On an empty stomach, short rib on an empty stomach
- 9:06Speaker 1: is how the Boston bomber did his thing.
- 9:09Speaker 3: You would never be able to do the carnivore diet.
- 9:11Speaker 5: I had a double iced oat milk latte with short
- 9:16Speaker 5: ribs for breakfast coffee and short rib in great red
- 9:21Speaker 5: wine gravy.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Yeah, and I should have had like a couple of crackers.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Even if you had like two saltines before you have
- 9:28Speaker 3: short neutralized.
- 9:31Speaker 5: There's so much fat and short ribs. It's crazy. So
- 9:34Speaker 5: I eat it immediately. I don't feel good, but I
- 9:37Speaker 5: think maybe if I balance it out by drinking some
- 9:39Speaker 5: of the gravy. So I tipped the bowl. I drink
- 9:42Speaker 5: the gravy to try to wash it through. That didn't
- 9:45Speaker 5: help because now the gravy is infused with the fat. Yeah,
- 9:49Speaker 5: there's plenty of fat in the graves. Rendered I'm clawing,
- 9:53Speaker 5: I'm dumping on top of the clock basically, and I
- 9:58Speaker 5: have to take an uber because I have bag into
- 10:00Speaker 5: the airport. And the guy was just one of those guys,
- 10:03Speaker 5: you know, one of the guys who when we get
- 10:07Speaker 5: to a traffic stop, he wants to.
- 10:11Speaker 3: As close to the car in front of him exactly.
- 10:13Speaker 5: He's doing that thing where it's like, if you know
- 10:15Speaker 5: they say that you can, you can, you can take
- 10:17Speaker 5: half of something infinitely.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like a paradox. You'll never get to that.
- 10:24Speaker 5: He was he was taking half the distance to the
- 10:27Speaker 5: next half the distance to the next car, and then
- 10:33Speaker 5: half that by taking his foot off the pedal, and
- 10:35Speaker 5: just I don't even know if he knew he was
- 10:37Speaker 5: doing it. Here's how bad it was.
- 10:40Speaker 3: I said something, Yeah, I'm sure, I'm sure he didn't
- 10:43Speaker 3: like that. He probably ramped it up an extras.
- 10:46Speaker 5: I blamed it on myself.
- 10:48Speaker 1: He said, I'm a bit sick right now.
- 10:49Speaker 5: I said, I'm so sorry. I have a very sensitive stomach.
- 10:51Speaker 1: And he handed you the Google Translate and.
- 10:53Speaker 5: I'm not feeling that well. He spoke pretty good English,
- 10:56Speaker 5: and I said, I'm not feeling that well. Is there
- 10:57Speaker 5: any chance that you could be a little, you know,
- 11:00Speaker 5: mindful of the accelerator gas sort of staccato drumbeat that
- 11:05Speaker 5: you're playing with your with your kick drum. You're playing
- 11:08Speaker 5: kick drum with the gas. It was just break and
- 11:13Speaker 5: then he goes, oh, yeah, no problem. And then we
- 11:15Speaker 5: get to the next light and he goes, you know,
- 11:17Speaker 5: it's these new cars. They start moving when you take
- 11:21Speaker 5: your foot off the gas. And I was like, I
- 11:24Speaker 5: think that's been the way for a long time years.
- 11:28Speaker 5: That's not new.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Yeah, he was taught.
- 11:31Speaker 5: It was as if like he was like, that's why
- 11:35Speaker 5: it's annoying, right.
- 11:36Speaker 1: You take your foot off the break.
- 11:37Speaker 5: When you take your foot off the break, the car
- 11:39Speaker 5: starts moving forward. He was like, can you believe it?
- 11:41Speaker 1: That's like where the that's like physics.
- 11:44Speaker 5: It's the it's cars, that's the wheel, it's the the automobile.
- 11:50Speaker 1: It's what the wheel does.
- 11:51Speaker 5: It's the automobile.
- 11:52Speaker 3: That might have been his first time driving, bro.
- 11:55Speaker 5: So he said that, and I was like, oh, yeah,
- 11:56Speaker 5: it's crazy, right.
- 11:58Speaker 3: I had to let him have it.
- 12:00Speaker 5: The same face but that he's like, but yeah, I
- 12:03Speaker 5: have to I always I always have to remember to
- 12:05Speaker 5: like really keep my foot on the break. So eventually
- 12:10Speaker 5: I got here, and then by that time I was
- 12:11Speaker 5: completely car saved.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Do you ever think about getting out?
- 12:14Speaker 5: I had bags?
- 12:16Speaker 3: How many bags?
- 12:17Speaker 5: I had a roller, golf and ski. I had a
- 12:21Speaker 5: ski bag of boots, and then I had a fucking backpack.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Is your ski bag of boots one of those big
- 12:26Speaker 3: ass backpacks? Those are sick?
- 12:30Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 12:31Speaker 3: I had those two, So I also have one?
- 12:35Speaker 1: Are you serious?
- 12:36Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 12:36Speaker 1: No, way for my full tilt boots. Wait, you said
- 12:39Speaker 1: it was sick because you have one.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Yeah. I remember being like, I really wanted one when
- 12:44Speaker 3: I was younger, and I got one for Christmas. I
- 12:45Speaker 3: was pumped.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's still it's stayed.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Cool, still sick cool because boots go on the side,
- 12:52Speaker 3: boots on the side, traditional bag. Usually I didn't even
- 12:55Speaker 3: have a bag before that.
- 12:57Speaker 5: This stuff are just socks into the boots safe space.
- 13:00Speaker 3: No wear my ski socks and then I would how
- 13:02Speaker 3: many cares?
- 13:04Speaker 5: What do you mean you only bring one pair of
- 13:05Speaker 5: ski socks for a ski trip? Oh?
- 13:07Speaker 3: No, for like a day.
- 13:08Speaker 5: Oh you're doing day trips. I'm surprised you're bringing a
- 13:11Speaker 5: boot bag on everywhere you go.
- 13:12Speaker 3: Skiing is like ski and ski out.
- 13:15Speaker 1: This this is do you know what that means?
- 13:18Speaker 3: Yeah, like when you're staying on the mountain, right, but
- 13:22Speaker 3: I'm going out, I'm drive Like I would have to
- 13:25Speaker 3: like drive to the mountain.
- 13:26Speaker 5: I grew up doing that. And then you'd go home
- 13:28Speaker 5: and so I see what you mean. You're absolutely right.
- 13:31Speaker 5: Were your ski socks all that?
- 13:32Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 13:33Speaker 5: But I'm doing like weekend trips, So I need multiple
- 13:35Speaker 5: pairs of ski socks and.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I just put those in like the low
- 13:39Speaker 3: like you put that in the roller.
- 13:41Speaker 5: I see.
- 13:41Speaker 1: It is ski and ski out though it is.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Yeah, that's sick. I've only ever done that once.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Yeah, you have to try it. The best way to
- 13:49Speaker 1: see the mountain.
- 13:50Speaker 5: It's just great, just step right onto the trail.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's it's not as it's not as cool
- 13:56Speaker 3: as they make like you think that you're stepping onto
- 13:57Speaker 3: your trail and you're on the top of the mountain.
- 13:59Speaker 5: It's to me, it's the equivalent if you were to
- 14:02Speaker 5: buy a ski home, yeah, and you had skiing ski
- 14:06Speaker 5: out versus oh it's just a ten minute drive. Yeah,
- 14:10Speaker 5: is like buying a beach house where you are on
- 14:13Speaker 5: the fucking beach and have a view of the ocean. Yeah,
- 14:16Speaker 5: versus seven houses back. Yeah, and it's like an eight
- 14:19Speaker 5: minute walk to the beach. That's the equivalent. Well, no,
- 14:22Speaker 5: it definitely is the equivalent.
- 14:23Speaker 3: But like I don't think like where I grew up skiing,
- 14:27Speaker 3: they like they didn't like ski and ski out wasn't
- 14:29Speaker 3: even an option because the mountain wasn't big enough. Yeah.
- 14:31Speaker 5: Yeah, dude, I grew up skiing. It's Shawnee Peak.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, it's not that many like I think,
- 14:36Speaker 3: like maybe Sunday River probably has ski and ski out.
- 14:39Speaker 5: You know, Shawnee Peak, we didn't even have fucking avalanche controls,
- 14:43Speaker 5: just meth labs exploding mid mountain that would send shoots clear.
- 14:48Speaker 1: What do we think about doing a ski competition? Flips, grinds, rails.
- 14:52Speaker 3: Not No, no, I don't want to do that.
- 14:57Speaker 5: All right? What about just packing a ski bag of fish?
- 15:00Speaker 3: That would be fun? I could do that. Yeah, there
- 15:01Speaker 3: I go.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Yeah, best backpacker.
- 15:05Speaker 5: I just want to finish this. So I get out
- 15:08Speaker 5: and then I come in and I'm like, yeah, I
- 15:10Speaker 5: won't be able to get on with my day unless
- 15:12Speaker 5: I throw up. That's how nauseous I am. So I
- 15:15Speaker 5: go in the bathroom and douce my vomiting violently.
- 15:19Speaker 3: I think I would have like a panic attack if
- 15:21Speaker 3: I had to throw up here. I don't know what
- 15:23Speaker 3: I would do when I throw up. It takes me
- 15:26Speaker 3: a good thirty minutes to actually like work up the
- 15:28Speaker 3: courage to do it.
- 15:30Speaker 5: I've gotten through that at this point in my life.
- 15:33Speaker 5: I just know I have to do this. Bear down Yeah,
- 15:37Speaker 5: suck it up. You will feel better.
- 15:39Speaker 1: You feel so much better so fast, once you'll get
- 15:41Speaker 1: the demon.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Out of your body.
- 15:42Speaker 5: I will say, it's definitely you feel better more quickly
- 15:46Speaker 5: if you've if you need to do it from drinking
- 15:49Speaker 5: sober sober. Throwing up is awful, dude.
- 15:53Speaker 3: Throwing up when you're throwing up when you're drunk is
- 15:56Speaker 3: just like it's like spitting, like peeing.
- 15:58Speaker 1: It's like getting a sneeze.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Yeah, because you're getting think about it.
- 16:04Speaker 5: Gonna bleed the old stomach.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Dude. I have the amount of bars that I threw
- 16:09Speaker 3: up in and just like went back and ordered another
- 16:12Speaker 3: beer right after.
- 16:13Speaker 5: Yeah, go pull trigg, delete a beer.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Don't tell anybody, dude.
- 16:17Speaker 5: It comes out so clean that you could fill it
- 16:20Speaker 5: up for someone and not feel bad.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Yeah, and you feel fresh afterwards.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Yeah, dude, I've thrown up and like I threw up
- 16:27Speaker 3: in like comedy clubs and then just like went and
- 16:30Speaker 3: like hung out with people right at like just went
- 16:32Speaker 3: right back to the table. Yeah. No, I'd probably just
- 16:35Speaker 3: get another beer, have beer breath. Yeah, at that point
- 16:38Speaker 3: you need another beer to erase to throw a breath.
- 16:40Speaker 1: It's nice.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Yeah, something like Ali and ip a something rich, which then.
- 16:48Speaker 5: All right, well I have I have a completely different
- 16:51Speaker 5: thing I need to talk about, because this is fucking bananas.
- 16:54Speaker 5: Something happened to me yesterday, something bad, something very bad
- 16:58Speaker 5: happened to me.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Okay, only good things happened to me yesterday.
- 17:03Speaker 5: I had. I had a really bad day. The universe
- 17:06Speaker 5: just decided it was my day of reckoning. But I'm
- 17:11Speaker 5: only going to tell one part of it I got.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I want to hear the rest of it. I want
- 17:15Speaker 1: to hear the ship that's too hot for TV.
- 17:17Speaker 5: I got pulled over by a police officer on a bicycle. Yeah,
- 17:24Speaker 5: I was city biking and he was on his feet.
- 17:28Speaker 1: You don't have to stop.
- 17:30Speaker 5: I got a ticket right here. That is three hundred
- 17:38Speaker 5: and thirty dollars.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Is that a scroll?
- 17:41Speaker 5: Good? That? Look at that?
- 17:43Speaker 3: It's so big? I don't know did he print that
- 17:45Speaker 3: out for you in person?
- 17:46Speaker 5: You're going to take this car. He's got one of
- 17:48Speaker 5: those new cars.
- 17:50Speaker 3: One of those ones that you got to keep the
- 17:51Speaker 3: foot on my break the time.
- 17:53Speaker 5: But when you take it off, it actually prints gigantic tickets.
- 17:57Speaker 5: And then you let it off, it stops it. Then
- 17:59Speaker 5: you got to take get off again. Starts sprinting again.
- 18:01Speaker 3: If you get a ticket in America, you should have
- 18:04Speaker 3: to like wear it on you, like it's the scarlet
- 18:06Speaker 3: letter all day.
- 18:07Speaker 5: I don't mind that. Don't mind that. Take it all.
- 18:09Speaker 3: It should be a little rope on top of that
- 18:11Speaker 3: for you to put it around your neck. The last
- 18:12Speaker 3: thing would keep it around.
- 18:14Speaker 1: He could curl up under that for the wintery months.
- 18:17Speaker 5: They hit me with NYC bicycle red light one hundred
- 18:20Speaker 5: and ninety dollars, and then they also hit me with
- 18:22Speaker 5: disobeyed traffic Control device one hundred and thirty eight dollars.
- 18:27Speaker 5: Feels a little redundant.
- 18:29Speaker 3: What did you disobey?
- 18:30Speaker 5: Here's the story. I was biking up sixth Avenue to
- 18:34Speaker 5: get a haircut. I was on a city bike, e
- 18:36Speaker 5: bike in the bike lane. Right of course, I'm at
- 18:40Speaker 5: sixth Ave and fifty eighth Street, which way north, so
- 18:45Speaker 5: two blocks south of Central Park, one block south of
- 18:48Speaker 5: fifty ninth, which is where you got to go cross,
- 18:49Speaker 5: because it's.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Which is the right way you're going with traffic.
- 18:53Speaker 5: I'm with traffic and I'm in the bike lane. So
- 18:56Speaker 5: fifty eighth goes I think it goes east or it
- 18:59Speaker 5: goes to east.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Right right past the Fox News building.
- 19:02Speaker 5: Yep, past Rockefeller Center, past you know all that stuff.
- 19:06Speaker 3: It's pretty rock.
- 19:08Speaker 1: It's a very busy shout out Shane.
- 19:11Speaker 3: Yeah, very like a little nod when you were when
- 19:14Speaker 3: you were driving by, maybe ring the bell a couple
- 19:16Speaker 3: of times for Lauren.
- 19:19Speaker 5: Shane if they were in there.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:23Speaker 5: Yeah. So I'm going up and uh, you know, I
- 19:30Speaker 5: get to fifty eighth I think it was fiftieth. Maybe
- 19:32Speaker 5: it was fifty seventh, but I think it's fifty eighth,
- 19:35Speaker 5: and I'm on the left side of sixth Avenue. Right,
- 19:38Speaker 5: of course the car the cars are going to come
- 19:41Speaker 5: from left to right. I see yellow, I'm close it.
- 19:48Speaker 5: I thought I had the yellow, brother, you're on a bike. Also,
- 19:52Speaker 5: I checked there was a ton of pedestrians that were
- 19:57Speaker 5: just starting to cross fifty eighth Street, which meant that
- 20:01Speaker 5: there was no chance the cars were gonna start going
- 20:05Speaker 5: on the second of their light. Right, I had a wall.
- 20:09Speaker 5: I had a human shield of pedestrians. So I said, okay,
- 20:13Speaker 5: fucking I'll go. I went. The second I got through
- 20:17Speaker 5: fifty eighth Street, still on sixth ave, a guy steps
- 20:21Speaker 5: out from in front of his cop car like one
- 20:24Speaker 5: of the SUV's and it goes like this, he gave
- 20:32Speaker 5: me the beckon hand up, come here and what did
- 20:37Speaker 5: you square up with you in front of standing right
- 20:39Speaker 5: in front of me, so you could have served dude.
- 20:41Speaker 3: In hindsight, I could have done anything.
- 20:45Speaker 5: To not get this ticket. I could have gone anywhere.
- 20:50Speaker 5: I could have dumped the bike and run. Yeah, it's
- 20:52Speaker 5: the it's such heavy draffic at that hour. I could
- 20:55Speaker 5: have gone anywhere they can't chase me in a cop car.
- 20:59Speaker 5: I could have gone into cent A p you know,
- 21:00Speaker 5: hit behind the horses. Yeah, climbed a tree.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Got in the back of one of the horsey buggy
- 21:06Speaker 1: things in Central Park like Kevin McAllister and home alone.
- 21:09Speaker 5: I could have rubbed dirt from Central Park on my
- 21:11Speaker 5: face and ask people for, you know, a couple hot soup. Yeah.
- 21:14Speaker 3: You could have just gotten a cab too.
- 21:16Speaker 5: Not a bad idea any of the above. The issue
- 21:19Speaker 5: would have been that my charge on my EBAC would
- 21:21Speaker 5: have continued to but you.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Just circled, circled the block, wait till the would.
- 21:26Speaker 3: Spin the block, dock the bike.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Because I've gotten before. I've gotten these tickets before. And
- 21:31Speaker 1: our security guys who used to be cops were like,
- 21:34Speaker 1: you know, you don't have to stop for them. Yeah,
- 21:37Speaker 1: you know, if a cop stops, you can just like
- 21:39Speaker 1: keep going.
- 21:40Speaker 3: There's a bike.
- 21:41Speaker 5: There's two interesting things. The cop was black, makes sense,
- 21:46Speaker 5: And he was short and was kind looking kindly.
- 21:52Speaker 1: You thought that you were going to get a.
- 21:55Speaker 5: It was the opposite of police brutality. I had a
- 22:00Speaker 5: black police officer gently waving me down on a bicycle
- 22:04Speaker 5: to scold me for running a barely a red light.
- 22:09Speaker 3: I thought you were allowed to run that. I've run
- 22:10Speaker 3: red lights constantly.
- 22:11Speaker 5: Buddy, they're cracking down. You're about to get.
- 22:14Speaker 1: You know why, George Floyd.
- 22:19Speaker 3: Exactly What is the answer to that, because they're probably
- 22:24Speaker 3: just scooping up the Uber Eats drivers and shipping.
- 22:26Speaker 5: A great point which leads me to this. They already
- 22:30Speaker 5: had another guy. His bike was He was a Grubhub
- 22:35Speaker 5: driver and I'm just gonna call him Senegalese.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Okay, that makes sense.
- 22:41Speaker 5: I think that's less racist than saying he was from Africa.
- 22:46Speaker 5: But I knew he was from yeah, because I have
- 22:51Speaker 5: that intuition. So he's waiting on his in his really strong.
- 22:56Speaker 3: Oh yeahs motorcycle, and.
- 22:59Speaker 5: He's does he doesn't he's not bothered by this. They're
- 23:02Speaker 5: already running his license in the car. So this cop
- 23:05Speaker 5: has a partner, he's in the car. That guy is
- 23:08Speaker 5: also a black police officer. So they're running it. And
- 23:13Speaker 5: the guy says to me something like, you know, do
- 23:16Speaker 5: you understand that you're not? You understand what you did?
- 23:19Speaker 3: Right?
- 23:20Speaker 5: You understand that you why would you run the light
- 23:23Speaker 5: and make those cars wait? You held up traffic? And
- 23:27Speaker 5: I just immediately was like, you're absolutely right. I did
- 23:29Speaker 5: the wrong thing. I'm sorry. I thought that being, you know,
- 23:35Speaker 5: giving him what he wanted would be maybe where he
- 23:38Speaker 5: would be like, all right, well next time, don't let
- 23:40Speaker 5: me catch you again. Get on with you. Well, then
- 23:44Speaker 5: he asked for my license, and then he took it
- 23:46Speaker 5: into the car, and then the first Then now I'm
- 23:50Speaker 5: having a conversation with the grub.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Up guy and I go full.
- 23:55Speaker 5: I go, has this happened to you before? And he
- 23:57Speaker 5: goes many times? And then I go are they gonna
- 24:01Speaker 5: give us a ticket? And he goes yes, and I
- 24:03Speaker 5: go is it expensive? And he goes, it's not that bad.
- 24:07Speaker 5: And they brought out the other cop brought out his
- 24:10Speaker 5: license and his ticket and goes, don't lie, don't lie.
- 24:15Speaker 5: And the guy was like so, and then the cop
- 24:18Speaker 5: was like, you said you didn't have your license. We
- 24:20Speaker 5: knew you did. Next time, you have your license on
- 24:23Speaker 5: you and we asked for it, you better give it
- 24:24Speaker 5: to us. You were going the wrong way. You were
- 24:28Speaker 5: going the wrong way. He's going the wrong way in
- 24:29Speaker 5: the bike lane.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, on a motorcycle basically. Yeah.
- 24:33Speaker 5: So I'm immediately I'm like, well, this, this infraction is
- 24:36Speaker 5: way worse than mine. Yeah, I'm going with traffic. I
- 24:39Speaker 5: went through a yellow yeah whatever. So uh, that guy
- 24:44Speaker 5: goes off and I think he looked at the fine and.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Was like whatever, So are those guys making like a shit?
- 24:53Speaker 5: Like? I was like, what am I not? Why am
- 24:55Speaker 5: I not riding a bike for uber eats or whatever?
- 24:58Speaker 5: Freeing in thirty dollars is no big deal? You and
- 25:00Speaker 5: you had multiple these what? Yeah? Yeah, I take care
- 25:08Speaker 5: of me, so uh Okay. Then my guy comes out
- 25:15Speaker 5: and at this point I'm like, you know what, I've
- 25:18Speaker 5: had time to think about this. I've never talked back
- 25:21Speaker 5: to a cop in my whole life.
- 25:24Speaker 3: I don't really agree.
- 25:25Speaker 5: With this one.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Yeah, you threw the Jolene flag.
- 25:27Speaker 5: And I'm like I'm not gonna I'm not gonna be
- 25:29Speaker 5: a dick, but I'm gonna have a conversation. So the
- 25:33Speaker 5: guy comes out, gives me back my license, He starts
- 25:36Speaker 5: walking me through the ticket, tells me it's three hundred
- 25:39Speaker 5: and thirty dollars. I didn't know at this time how
- 25:41Speaker 5: much it was gonna be. Yeah, and I go oh,
- 25:45Speaker 5: and he goes, well look, and I go, can I
- 25:47Speaker 5: just say I thought I was on the yellow? Are
- 25:50Speaker 5: there cameras around that intersection? And he gave me this
- 25:54Speaker 5: long winded answer that felt like totally.
- 25:56Speaker 3: He's got a body can Yeah, but he didn't have
- 25:59Speaker 3: to throw the life songs the body cams off.
- 26:01Speaker 1: If he is a body cam off, I feel like
- 26:03Speaker 1: you have a good case.
- 26:04Speaker 5: Well, I'm definitely contesting this.
- 26:07Speaker 3: Do you have a did he did he flick the
- 26:08Speaker 3: lights on the car? No? He gave me a caf
- 26:12Speaker 3: cams off and then this.
- 26:14Speaker 5: But more than he doesn't have he doesn't have the
- 26:18Speaker 5: light on his body cam because it was coming from
- 26:20Speaker 5: the other direction.
- 26:22Speaker 1: So how does he even know what he saw?
- 26:24Speaker 3: He doesn't.
- 26:25Speaker 5: He I think was probably going off of the pedestrian
- 26:28Speaker 5: walks signal. But remember there's always a couple seconds between
- 26:32Speaker 5: traffic light and pedestrian walks.
- 26:34Speaker 3: When it just turns red and you're on the bike,
- 26:35Speaker 3: you can go because you got like four seconds.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Yeah, fucking fucking tyrant. Sounds like he's a tyrant.
- 26:41Speaker 5: To me, I said, I said, I'll be honest, I
- 26:44Speaker 5: really thought I was going. I said, I might have
- 26:46Speaker 5: even said, you know, officer just I really respect you guys,
- 26:51Speaker 5: But I really thought I was on the yellow there
- 26:55Speaker 5: and I had a wall of pedestrians that were just
- 26:57Speaker 5: starting to cross, so there was no car that was
- 27:00Speaker 5: going to go, and he goes. Two weeks ago, I
- 27:02Speaker 5: would have given every single one of them a jaywalking ticket,
- 27:05Speaker 5: but the city voted that we are not supposed to
- 27:08Speaker 5: give those people tickets anymore. This is a pedestrian city now,
- 27:11Speaker 5: which means we've turned our focus to you guys, bikers.
- 27:16Speaker 1: They would not have given everybody a fucking jaywalking.
- 27:21Speaker 5: It was like the Epcot Center had been let out.
- 27:23Speaker 5: Y fucking nationality, every height, every different color of person.
- 27:30Speaker 5: There's no chance that guy's printing out twelve jaywalking tickets.
- 27:34Speaker 3: There's no way he's even gonna be able to stop them.
- 27:36Speaker 1: No, It's like when people rush the field and there's
- 27:39Speaker 1: like a security guard in front of them, like, yeah,
- 27:42Speaker 1: tackling one person.
- 27:43Speaker 5: So uh, he said, he said, the reason we're being
- 27:47Speaker 5: so vigilant about this now, especially on this intersection, is
- 27:51Speaker 5: because this is one of the most dangerous intersections in
- 27:53Speaker 5: the city. And a month ago, in fact, a biker
- 27:57Speaker 5: got hit t boned by a car coming through exactly
- 28:00Speaker 5: what you were doing, and he died. And I was like, Okay, you.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Know they love dropping that. Yeah, I've had that dropped
- 28:07Speaker 3: on me. You know what happened here? Yeah eight months ago. No,
- 28:12Speaker 3: how would I ever know that? How would I have
- 28:14Speaker 3: any idea what happened here eight months ago?
- 28:16Speaker 5: Yeah? So I by the way, I'm wearing a Brunello
- 28:20Speaker 5: vest one that I bought at the sample sale. I'm
- 28:23Speaker 5: on a bike, and you know, I kind of feel
- 28:30Speaker 5: this is such a busy part of New York. There's
- 28:32Speaker 5: a part of me that wondered if he didn't pull
- 28:35Speaker 5: me over to hedge against racial profiling of the first guy.
- 28:41Speaker 1: I've been the second man in on a bike pull
- 28:43Speaker 1: over before.
- 28:44Speaker 3: That was my initial thought.
- 28:45Speaker 1: They always pull over a honkey just to kind of.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Even handed.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Yeah, in case there's a photograph equal justice.
- 28:52Speaker 5: We don't see color, you know.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Yeah, and they pull over the whitest white guy.
- 28:56Speaker 5: They pulled over a Clydesdale. They collared, you know, fucking
- 29:01Speaker 5: Kennedy on an e bike.
- 29:03Speaker 3: Yeah, and disrespectful.
- 29:05Speaker 1: They got me and, uh, you have to take it
- 29:08Speaker 1: to court.
- 29:08Speaker 3: I'm gonna absolutely you should wear the ray band glasses
- 29:11Speaker 3: when you're in.
- 29:12Speaker 5: He told me it's gonna take a couple of days
- 29:14Speaker 5: for to show up in the system. We had a
- 29:16Speaker 5: nice conversation. Yeah, West fifty eighth Street, Avenue of the America.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Do you have a friend of police card?
- 29:20Speaker 5: I do, but oh my god. Then he tried to
- 29:22Speaker 5: placate me. He goes, look, the good news is it's
- 29:25Speaker 5: not gonna be points on your license since you were
- 29:27Speaker 5: in the car, and I was like, dude, I know, yeah,
- 29:33Speaker 5: obviously there was no worried that this was going to
- 29:37Speaker 5: be points on my fucking driver's license.
- 29:40Speaker 1: No worry, You're not going to spend any time in jail.
- 29:43Speaker 1: Don't worry. It's not gonna be murder one for you.
- 29:45Speaker 5: You're not gonna have to go back to drivers in
- 29:48Speaker 5: I was pretty.
- 29:49Speaker 3: I don't understand the license thing though, Like, what do
- 29:51Speaker 3: you you don't need your What if you didn't have your.
- 29:52Speaker 5: License, then they can't do anything.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's why the guy probably said he didn't
- 29:58Speaker 1: have his license.
- 29:59Speaker 5: Did and they're like, and they called him what they
- 30:02Speaker 5: searched him.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Which is illegal, I mean legal search and seizure. I
- 30:05Speaker 1: guess they pulled you over for reason. They can search it,
- 30:07Speaker 1: but they didn't pull you over.
- 30:09Speaker 5: Really. Bicycle description narrative bicycle failed to yield to vehicle
- 30:12Speaker 5: slash pedestrian at red light, n YC.
- 30:16Speaker 3: Three thirty.
- 30:17Speaker 5: Yeah, you must plead guilty or not guilty within fifteen days.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Adams must be in trouble.
- 30:23Speaker 5: I'm gonna hit this.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Adams is going to Adams's debt first class off. Francis
- 30:28Speaker 1: is done.
- 30:29Speaker 5: People say, because then I went to my haircut and
- 30:32Speaker 5: at the.
- 30:33Speaker 3: You were taught what were you talking about it at
- 30:34Speaker 3: the Barberscae.
- 30:35Speaker 5: Well, I was fifteen minutes late for my haircut because
- 30:37Speaker 5: of this. The guy was reading me the rules of
- 30:40Speaker 5: he was reading your rights, you know the constitution.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Yeah, he went for.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Well, this guy needs to know the Constitution if he's
- 30:46Speaker 1: doing a fucking unlawful stopping frisk like that. He didn't
- 30:50Speaker 1: frisk me first the biker. First, the Senegalese brother.
- 30:54Speaker 5: I wonder he probably took that guy's food.
- 30:56Speaker 3: What's for lunch? I'm sure we could work something out here.
- 31:03Speaker 5: Was that tie?
- 31:05Speaker 3: Me and my partner are actually pretty hungry.
- 31:08Speaker 5: Would you pick up the most recently?
- 31:10Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, it's still warm.
- 31:12Speaker 5: In there, none of it. Uh so, Yeah, so that
- 31:16Speaker 5: happened to me yesterday. I was late, and then they
- 31:19Speaker 5: said at the barbershop, they were like, dude, this, First
- 31:22Speaker 5: of all, it's the end of the month. Yeah, quote,
- 31:24Speaker 5: so they are they're nabbing everyone to hit their quotas
- 31:27Speaker 5: or whatever. Secondly, apparently there's like all kinds of new
- 31:31Speaker 5: traffic laws that have gone into effect as a result
- 31:33Speaker 5: of congestion.
- 31:34Speaker 3: Well I was gonna say, maybe it's because they were
- 31:36Speaker 3: didn't they reverse the congestion. They haven't, Yeah, done it.
- 31:38Speaker 5: That's like in the process Trump's trying to reverse it,
- 31:41Speaker 5: but they're fighting it. But apparently coming in through the
- 31:44Speaker 5: tunnel this morning, they were just like fully waving people
- 31:48Speaker 5: over at the end of the tunnel and having them
- 31:53Speaker 5: get out of their cars, putting them in the paddy
- 31:56Speaker 5: wagon in handcuffs, and then towing their cars for what reason. Bro.
- 32:01Speaker 3: I don't know. They said that.
- 32:04Speaker 5: The guy at the barber shop was like, I saw
- 32:05Speaker 5: a woman get out of her car and she was
- 32:06Speaker 5: embarrassed to be seen in handcuffs, so they let her
- 32:09Speaker 5: put her coat over her hand side before they put
- 32:12Speaker 5: her into the paddywag.
- 32:14Speaker 3: Like Aaron Hernandez walking out of his house.
- 32:18Speaker 5: Are they driving on the sides of the fucking tunnel
- 32:21Speaker 5: like in Men in Black?
- 32:22Speaker 3: You know what it probably was is probably they probably
- 32:24Speaker 3: someone probably switched lanes in the tunnel. I guess. I
- 32:28Speaker 3: don't know what offence could be so bad about seeing
- 32:30Speaker 3: a cop do that.
- 32:31Speaker 5: Did somebody go in the tunnel, get out of their
- 32:33Speaker 5: car and like open the valve?
- 32:35Speaker 3: I don't know. That's getting pulled over right out of
- 32:37Speaker 3: the tunnel and handaffs handcuffs is not handcuffs?
- 32:41Speaker 1: Is that ice?
- 32:44Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 32:45Speaker 3: I can't imagine. I don't think so, I can't imagine.
- 32:48Speaker 3: Like the hotspot for ice is the commute from on
- 32:51Speaker 3: the fucking Holland Tunnel.
- 32:53Speaker 1: There's probably those lax ass Jersey laws. They get into
- 32:55Speaker 1: New York and track.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Down true right the coast due.
- 33:00Speaker 5: Yeah, this this pissed me off. It pissed me off
- 33:03Speaker 5: because I could have avoided it by just you know,
- 33:05Speaker 5: going like that. Uh and the amount of money and uh,
- 33:12Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 33:13Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 33:13Speaker 1: That's gotta be infuriating. If I'm you, I'm so fucking
- 33:16Speaker 1: pissed off.
- 33:17Speaker 5: But you said you've gotten these before.
- 33:19Speaker 1: I wasn't that much and I got it for headphones.
- 33:21Speaker 1: I got it for headphones and running a stop sign.
- 33:23Speaker 1: But I wasn't even in an intersection. I was alongside
- 33:26Speaker 1: of a park. Oh I know where that is so
- 33:30Speaker 1: fucking infuriated. So there's no cars that can go through.
- 33:32Speaker 1: There's no one that can go through.
- 33:33Speaker 3: I didn't even know that that was I genuinely didn't
- 33:35Speaker 3: know that that was illegal. Like I I've I've I
- 33:38Speaker 3: think I've gone gone the red light, like while there's
- 33:40Speaker 3: cops standing there.
- 33:41Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying, anything, dude, I will say.
- 33:43Speaker 5: Because then I biked the rest of the night all
- 33:46Speaker 5: over the place. It made me realize how many fucking
- 33:49Speaker 5: loss I break on. Oh yeah, Like all of a sudden,
- 33:52Speaker 5: I was like, oh, I could have gotten hit for that.
- 33:54Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I probably shouldn't have done that.
- 33:56Speaker 3: It's like when you do drivers ed and they're like,
- 33:58Speaker 3: they're like when you're in a parking lot. Any have
- 34:02Speaker 3: you guys ever heard this, Like when you're in a
- 34:03Speaker 3: parking lot. Technically, I don't know if it's everywhere. Maybe
- 34:05Speaker 3: it's just Massachusetts, but it's like every spot that you
- 34:09Speaker 3: cross over, like you know, if you're in a big
- 34:11Speaker 3: empty parking lot and you're kind of just like, I'm
- 34:13Speaker 3: just gonna sail right through this up to the front
- 34:15Speaker 3: spot if it's like empty, every single spot that you
- 34:18Speaker 3: cross over illegally is like one hundred dollars per spot.
- 34:22Speaker 5: I did not know that, so.
- 34:23Speaker 3: They could get you for like you say, say you
- 34:25Speaker 3: just barrel through ten spots.
- 34:26Speaker 5: It's a grand Is that why my dad, when I
- 34:28Speaker 5: was a child, would enter a grocery store parking lot
- 34:31Speaker 5: and choose to park as far away from the doors
- 34:33Speaker 5: of the grocery store's possible.
- 34:35Speaker 3: I think that's just like a weird dad thing. He
- 34:37Speaker 3: did that, and it would drive me too one time
- 34:40Speaker 3: my dad. One time, my dad was a Honda pilot.
- 34:43Speaker 3: You know, we were in space between us and the
- 34:44Speaker 3: next car, and I then can't be worthless. When I
- 34:48Speaker 3: was in eighth grade, we went on like a like
- 34:50Speaker 3: the whole grade goes on a field trip to like
- 34:52Speaker 3: some fucking place and.
- 34:54Speaker 5: Wait, I just need to Western Element. Not a hond
- 34:57Speaker 5: of pilot of pilots are nice?
- 34:59Speaker 3: Got it?
- 35:00Speaker 5: Sorry? Keep going.
- 35:00Speaker 3: But when we was like three days and you're like
- 35:03Speaker 3: in these like cabins and shit with like your whole grade,
- 35:06Speaker 3: and it sucks. It's not fun. It's like you're at camp,
- 35:09Speaker 3: but you're at school, like your teachers are there, you
- 35:13Speaker 3: still have to do school work and shit, it sucks.
- 35:15Speaker 3: I think it was called Nature's Classroom. And on the
- 35:19Speaker 3: way back, it was like a four hour bus trip
- 35:21Speaker 3: to get back, and the whole time I'm like I
- 35:24Speaker 3: cannot fucking wait to get home. And we get off
- 35:26Speaker 3: the bus and we're at the school. It's like seven pm,
- 35:29Speaker 3: so it's like empty. It's just the people that are
- 35:30Speaker 3: getting picked up from the field trip, and everyone's parents
- 35:34Speaker 3: are there like with their cars. And I get off
- 35:36Speaker 3: the bus and my dad's just standing there and I
- 35:39Speaker 3: was like, what's going on. I was like, where's the car?
- 35:42Speaker 3: And he's like, mom said it was going to be
- 35:43Speaker 3: a mess. So I parked. He parked like two miles away,
- 35:46Speaker 3: and we had to walk with my all of my
- 35:48Speaker 3: luggage and I was I think it was the most
- 35:49Speaker 3: mad I've ever been.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Was it actually a mess?
- 35:52Speaker 3: No, it wasn't a mess at all. It was literally
- 35:54Speaker 3: just a line of cars to come pick like I
- 35:56Speaker 3: would have just walked and then we would have been gone.
- 35:58Speaker 5: Did you give him a hard time?
- 36:00Speaker 3: I think I freaked out, dude.
- 36:01Speaker 5: So I have a similar story that same Honda Element
- 36:05Speaker 5: that was the boxy car that had the suicide doors
- 36:08Speaker 5: that would like open up. Theoretically you could convert it
- 36:12Speaker 5: into like a camper.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Oh that's cool now, I remember the commercials from that.
- 36:17Speaker 1: In the commercials, you also like camping.
- 36:19Speaker 5: My freshman year, I switched schools. I went from a
- 36:21Speaker 5: very accepting and loving school to a Jesuit school called Chevros,
- 36:27Speaker 5: and it was very male dominant, very kind of dark, medieval,
- 36:36Speaker 5: very Catholic. My mom picked me up one day in
- 36:41Speaker 5: the Honda Element and all the guys that were older
- 36:45Speaker 5: on the sports teams that I was on stuff. I
- 36:48Speaker 5: knew that they mocked me for the fact that we
- 36:52Speaker 5: drove a Honda Element. They thought that was a really
- 36:54Speaker 5: ugly carve.
- 36:56Speaker 3: You know.
- 36:57Speaker 1: They all had like corvettes and shit, no.
- 37:01Speaker 5: Pickup trucks. But like shitty ones. But you know, but
- 37:05Speaker 5: they would.
- 37:06Speaker 3: All get the subwoofers.
- 37:08Speaker 5: In the back. Then we would drive five minutes to
- 37:10Speaker 5: practice and my teeth would rattle in my fucking head,
- 37:14Speaker 5: Like you like this song, I'm like, I don't hear anything,
- 37:17Speaker 5: I feel it, Yeah, making me need to take a ship.
- 37:20Speaker 3: I actually love the sublers.
- 37:22Speaker 5: Not a fit car.
- 37:23Speaker 3: I would definitely get external subliers.
- 37:26Speaker 1: Huge ones.
- 37:26Speaker 3: Yeah, trunks taking them up.
- 37:31Speaker 1: Hear them three blocks away.
- 37:33Speaker 3: The class is shaken.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Yeah, that's kind of suck so bad.
- 37:38Speaker 5: So when your mom when mom came in picked me up,
- 37:41Speaker 5: and I got in the car, and I would she
- 37:43Speaker 5: had parked right in the middle of where all the
- 37:44Speaker 5: all the kids got let out, and I got in
- 37:47Speaker 5: the car and was just so embarrassed and mad, and I'm.
- 37:52Speaker 3: Sure I gave her a hard time.
- 37:55Speaker 5: And then I had to go get something else out
- 37:57Speaker 5: of school, and I went back in, and when I
- 37:59Speaker 5: came back into the car, my mom was crying.
- 38:02Speaker 3: Oh no, because people were making fun of her car.
- 38:04Speaker 5: Because I had been so cruel. And I never saw
- 38:09Speaker 5: my mom cry really, and she was like, I just
- 38:13Speaker 5: was excited to see you and pick you up.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Oh my god, and she leveled you.
- 38:19Speaker 5: Dude, I think it's the worst moment. I'm not even
- 38:24Speaker 5: kidding you.
- 38:24Speaker 1: I'm just happy to see you.
- 38:26Speaker 3: I have I think about that fucking box car mom.
- 38:29Speaker 5: I think about this like once a week and it
- 38:33Speaker 5: breaks my fucking.
- 38:35Speaker 3: Did you apology? Have you apologized?
- 38:37Speaker 5: I definitely did that? Then you her today. I wonder
- 38:42Speaker 5: if I think I've told her that that moment has
- 38:45Speaker 5: stuck with.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Ultimate forgiveness about this act will be nice?
- 38:49Speaker 5: Oh, I'm sure she would say, like, I haven't thought
- 38:51Speaker 5: about it since.
- 38:52Speaker 3: What if she's like, I think about it every week.
- 38:55Speaker 1: All I want to do is see you.
- 38:57Speaker 5: It. It's just something that I really wish I could
- 39:01Speaker 5: erase from time.
- 39:02Speaker 1: Yeah, well you can't.
- 39:04Speaker 5: It's the single worst moment of shame.
- 39:08Speaker 1: And what'd you say to her when you? Like, how
- 39:11Speaker 1: did you beerate her about.
- 39:12Speaker 5: Having I don't remember her car. I don't remember. I
- 39:14Speaker 5: probably was like I told you not to show up
- 39:17Speaker 5: in this car, or like, don't park in the middle
- 39:20Speaker 5: of this, like I'm so in whatever everyone's making. I
- 39:23Speaker 5: don't know, said something just I was a fourteen year old,
- 39:28Speaker 5: you know, fucking pick me up covered nacne getting thrown
- 39:32Speaker 5: into lockers by seniors. There's a nightmare. I left that
- 39:36Speaker 5: school after one year. That place fucking suck. Yeah, dude,
- 39:40Speaker 5: they had a pro life club. They were trying to
- 39:42Speaker 5: foist like anti abortion sentimentality or ideology rather on fourteen
- 39:49Speaker 5: year olds. Yeah, and then they and it was like, so,
- 39:52Speaker 5: I mean, we used to get a jug igged justice
- 39:56Speaker 5: under God instead of detention. That's insane, jugged up for
- 40:00Speaker 5: having socks that weren't the right length. Mister Conley, he
- 40:04Speaker 5: was an old guy and he was a cunt. And
- 40:08Speaker 5: he's dead now. I wish he could hear me say this.
- 40:11Speaker 5: That guy fucking sucked.
- 40:14Speaker 1: I ever went to a Jesuit high school, and uh,
- 40:18Speaker 1: I met one of my teachers at a wedding recently,
- 40:21Speaker 1: and he was the meanest teacher. Like a kid like
- 40:24Speaker 1: passed out in his class because he'd like stand up
- 40:26Speaker 1: his punishment for getting his lot into clenches wrong. He
- 40:29Speaker 1: passed out. And we met this teacher and he was
- 40:32Speaker 1: still such a dick. Come on, he just what he
- 40:35Speaker 1: was just still mean?
- 40:36Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 40:36Speaker 1: Did you still mean?
- 40:37Speaker 5: Did you say anything to him? Did you? No?
- 40:40Speaker 1: I tried to be nice. I was like, hey, I
- 40:42Speaker 1: thought it would be like time passed, but I don't
- 40:44Speaker 1: even I probably called him mister whatever his name was.
- 40:47Speaker 3: Yeah, probably didn't remember you, No.
- 40:49Speaker 1: He said, he I.
- 40:50Speaker 3: Think he said.
- 40:50Speaker 5: But that's where. That's where in the TV show he's
- 40:55Speaker 5: a character. There is a scene where we fall ow
- 41:00Speaker 5: him home one night and he goes into his tiny
- 41:05Speaker 5: walk up apartment, pulls that overhead light, string sits down
- 41:10Speaker 5: at a table, has a microwave dinner, and then like
- 41:14Speaker 5: goes and tends to his sickly father. Yeah, and we
- 41:19Speaker 5: develop empathy for him and realize that the reason he's
- 41:22Speaker 5: been so harsh his life me all this time is
- 41:27Speaker 5: because his background, his life itself, is prison. Yeah, and
- 41:31Speaker 5: that he is actually a sympathetic figure.
- 41:33Speaker 1: I think if your job makes you fucking miserable, I
- 41:35Speaker 1: think that there's other lines of work that can make
- 41:38Speaker 1: you less miserable. If you fucking hate teaching Latin to kids,
- 41:41Speaker 1: like all right, like it, do something where you work
- 41:44Speaker 1: with your hands, like be outside, move around all day,
- 41:46Speaker 1: Like we'll get an office job. Do something else. There's
- 41:48Speaker 1: a billion fucking jobs.
- 41:51Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know the answer to that.
- 41:52Speaker 3: Have ivery told you about the time when I got
- 41:54Speaker 3: dropped off at school and there was a lockdown in progress. No,
- 41:58Speaker 3: I haven't told you about that. I've probably told the
- 42:01Speaker 3: story before, maybe it was probably a while ago, but
- 42:04Speaker 3: it was a I was like when I didn't have
- 42:06Speaker 3: my license when I was a junior in high school
- 42:09Speaker 3: and our middle school and high school were connected, so
- 42:12Speaker 3: my mom would drop off me and my little sister
- 42:14Speaker 3: at the same time. And and we got dropped off
- 42:21Speaker 3: and like we get out of the car right in
- 42:23Speaker 3: front of the school and there's like there's like this
- 42:26Speaker 3: like siren going on, and the principals outside and he's
- 42:30Speaker 3: like get inside. And in my head, I was like,
- 42:33Speaker 3: if this is a real like shooting happening, why am
- 42:36Speaker 3: I not just going back to my my mom's cars
- 42:38Speaker 3: right there? Why are they telling us to come inside?
- 42:41Speaker 3: But obviously you're gonna listen to the principal, so I
- 42:43Speaker 3: went inside and then they were like like we I
- 42:46Speaker 3: go inside, and it was like it was real. They
- 42:48Speaker 3: were like everyone get in a fucking classroom. Like the
- 42:52Speaker 3: principals like grabbing kids and like throwing them into the cafeteria.
- 42:56Speaker 3: And I'm on the middle school side of the school
- 42:58Speaker 3: and I'm seventeen years old, so I'm on the middle
- 43:01Speaker 3: on the middle school side there is. That's literally what
- 43:05Speaker 3: it was. I'm surrounded by like twelve year olds. I'm
- 43:09Speaker 3: with my sister who's like twelve, and I'm seventeen, and
- 43:13Speaker 3: I'm running through I'm running through the hallways with all
- 43:16Speaker 3: these children. And then I'm in a class like we
- 43:18Speaker 3: like find a classroom and they're like, get in this classroom,
- 43:21Speaker 3: and I go in and it's literally me in seventh
- 43:24Speaker 3: graders all in a classroom together, and I'm like, dude,
- 43:26Speaker 3: they all think I'm the shooter for sure. And then
- 43:29Speaker 3: it ended up being like a misunderstanding, as it usually is.
- 43:33Speaker 5: What do you mean a misunderstanding?
- 43:35Speaker 3: This false false alarm?
- 43:38Speaker 1: Imagine being your mom seeing that.
- 43:40Speaker 3: I don't know, like she was texting us like what's
- 43:42Speaker 3: going on, Yeah, I guess there's a shooter in the school.
- 43:46Speaker 1: Get inside, there's a shooter in here.
- 43:48Speaker 3: It was crazy.
- 43:48Speaker 1: I do want to make this too hard on him.
- 43:50Speaker 3: I just remember. I just remember running through the hallways
- 43:53Speaker 3: with like children, like literal children, and being like, this.
- 43:56Speaker 5: Is I shoot. I said, let's go shoot. Some just
- 44:04Speaker 5: want a misunderstanding.
- 44:06Speaker 3: I just remember being like, this is like the most
- 44:08Speaker 3: misunderstanding is I don't know what. There was always ship
- 44:13Speaker 3: like that though, Like in our school, it would always
- 44:15Speaker 3: be like but it would be like it would either
- 44:17Speaker 3: be like nothing or it would be like, yeah, they
- 44:19Speaker 3: found shotgun shells in the gym. There was one time
- 44:23Speaker 3: where they were like, they found shotgun shells in the gym.
- 44:25Speaker 3: So they just brought everyone into the gym and like
- 44:28Speaker 3: had them like if you had like a band, if
- 44:30Speaker 3: you had like an instrument, they had to search your bag.
- 44:33Speaker 3: They had to search your band, like your cakes, and
- 44:35Speaker 3: then everyone else. But I was like, this feels like
- 44:37Speaker 3: if there's a dude in the gym, or if there
- 44:39Speaker 3: was if there's a guy with a gun, maybe don't
- 44:42Speaker 3: bring everyone in the school to the exact same place.
- 44:44Speaker 1: We're all gonna jump on him. We're all gonna subdo him,
- 44:48Speaker 1: sometimes simultaneously.
- 44:50Speaker 3: It is. It's kind of a badass way to do it.
- 44:52Speaker 3: If you're the principal, shoot all of them your center
- 44:55Speaker 3: stage with the mic, who is it?
- 44:59Speaker 1: It'll be way easier on you. If you come forward now.
- 45:03Speaker 5: I'll give you one shot.
- 45:04Speaker 3: Yeah right, at this rate, maybe you'll get one or
- 45:06Speaker 3: two of us. But there's no way you're getting Yeah.
- 45:08Speaker 1: There's only nine count your bullets.
- 45:10Speaker 5: Go ahead, you and me ten paces. Most of us
- 45:14Speaker 5: are going to survive ten paces, and may.
- 45:17Speaker 3: The best man win a duel. A duel.
- 45:20Speaker 5: Also, kid in the gym, the kids are like fu,
- 45:28Speaker 5: the principal gets killed.
- 45:30Speaker 1: It's around them. Yeah, the principal misses, the kid shoots
- 45:33Speaker 1: the principal behind them.
- 45:35Speaker 3: Were you guys, were you guys out of high school
- 45:37Speaker 3: before that was a big thing like lockdowns?
- 45:39Speaker 10: Uh?
- 45:40Speaker 5: No, Columbine happened and started.
- 45:42Speaker 3: Yeah, there was like a good ten year gap between
- 45:45Speaker 3: Columbine and then before it was really like a rampant,
- 45:47Speaker 3: like this happens every week.
- 45:50Speaker 1: We just had a poopy band. It was never really shooters.
- 45:53Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean we didn't. We didn't have that as
- 45:57Speaker 5: far as I know, we didn't have any of that.
- 45:59Speaker 5: But was it ten years between Columbine and the next thing.
- 46:03Speaker 3: No, it wasn't between the next thing. But I mean
- 46:05Speaker 3: like it's it was more popular popular. Well no, I mean,
- 46:09Speaker 3: you know your word choices are funny. Oh that's the
- 46:12Speaker 3: word that I would use to describe it.
- 46:14Speaker 1: It's very popular.
- 46:15Speaker 5: That guy's so popular he shot like three schools.
- 46:19Speaker 3: No, but like like there's like Columbine happened.
- 46:22Speaker 1: It's a popular thing to do. It's like having a
- 46:24Speaker 1: beanie baby or I mean, dude, there's like.
- 46:26Speaker 3: Sweat shooting is like once a week.
- 46:29Speaker 1: Yeah, it's popular.
- 46:30Speaker 3: They were. I don't think there were as many.
- 46:32Speaker 1: I agree, I'm saying it's popular.
- 46:34Speaker 3: Yeah when I was when I was in high school,
- 46:37Speaker 3: in middle school, we were getting evacuated from the school.
- 46:39Speaker 3: Like it would be like a couple times a year.
- 46:41Speaker 5: That was all the rage.
- 46:42Speaker 1: Like middle school, very popular thing to do.
- 46:45Speaker 3: I remember middle school someone lit the trash can on
- 46:47Speaker 3: fire and then like carved into the wall like I'm
- 46:50Speaker 3: gonna blow up the school or some shit, and then
- 46:53Speaker 3: like we we all had to like get evacuated.
- 46:57Speaker 5: That's yeah, what where did you go to school?
- 47:00Speaker 3: Massachusetts? Yeah?
- 47:01Speaker 5: We I don't know, man, we didn't have that. And
- 47:04Speaker 5: for what it's worth, like I uh yeah, I mean yeah,
- 47:09Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 47:10Speaker 1: It's like this dark and mysterious thing that almost.
- 47:13Speaker 3: You know what it was. It was probably it was
- 47:15Speaker 3: probably people were more cautious about it when I was
- 47:17Speaker 3: in high school than they were with you, like when
- 47:19Speaker 3: you guys were in high school. I sound if someone
- 47:20Speaker 3: found shotgun shells in the gym they'd probably be like,
- 47:23Speaker 3: if you left your shotgun shells in the gym, please
- 47:26Speaker 3: come to the main office.
- 47:27Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah, we can only hold these.
- 47:30Speaker 3: For so long.
- 47:31Speaker 1: It feel hot, so you might want to grab them
- 47:34Speaker 1: before they cool off.
- 47:37Speaker 5: I don't know the answer to that.
- 47:38Speaker 1: Why is it becoming more popular? I don't know, because
- 47:43Speaker 1: guys like you try to make it seem cool.
- 47:45Speaker 5: The fuck.
- 47:47Speaker 1: No, you're just talking about how popular the popular kids
- 47:49Speaker 1: do it.
- 47:50Speaker 3: I wasn't saying popular in terms of popular kids are
- 47:53Speaker 3: doing it. I meant it's a more popular thing to
- 47:55Speaker 3: do than it was them, which popular still works for that, No.
- 48:04Speaker 5: Twist, its popular and common and frequent are not necessarily synonyms,
- 48:09Speaker 5: certainly not in that application, which is what made it funny.
- 48:13Speaker 3: School shootings have gotten more popular is factual, and that
- 48:16Speaker 3: is a completely correct way of saying it. I get
- 48:20Speaker 3: I understand why it's funny, Like I get why it
- 48:22Speaker 3: sounds funny to be like, oh, yeah, it's like a
- 48:25Speaker 3: popular thing to do, but it is.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Like, what's another thing that's popular to do?
- 48:31Speaker 3: Fucking snatching chains?
- 48:33Speaker 1: It's like snatching chain, snatching chains, that's.
- 48:36Speaker 5: Really popular right now. No, what's popular right now is like.
- 48:40Speaker 3: Oxy cotton probably not that weirdly like that to me,
- 48:47Speaker 3: is does make more sense, but it shouldn't.
- 48:52Speaker 1: Still a bad thing.
- 48:53Speaker 3: But people people.
- 48:54Speaker 5: Would take oxy cotton because they think it's cool. It's popular.
- 48:58Speaker 3: Popular kid kids do oxy cotton.
- 49:01Speaker 5: Dude, when was the last time you saw a school
- 49:03Speaker 5: shooter who was like also the captain of the water polo.
- 49:05Speaker 3: Well, that's why I'm saying, I don't mean popular in
- 49:07Speaker 3: that sense. I didn't mean popular as like the kid
- 49:10Speaker 3: is popular. I meant it's a more common I meant common,
- 49:14Speaker 3: But I still think popular works.
- 49:16Speaker 5: I'm gonna let you have it, all right, I win.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Next that one, next topic, where did you go to
- 49:25Speaker 1: high school that there were that many fucking lockdowns the
- 49:29Speaker 1: Euphoria High School?
- 49:31Speaker 3: Now, I mean it wasn't like I probably exaggerated it
- 49:33Speaker 3: a little bit, but like, we definitely had lockdown. We
- 49:36Speaker 3: definitely like in high school. I would say we definitely
- 49:38Speaker 3: had a lockdown every year I was in high school.
- 49:40Speaker 5: How many kids went to your high school?
- 49:43Speaker 3: Probably six hundred, but it was like but again the
- 49:47Speaker 3: middle school and the high school were combined, so there's
- 49:49Speaker 3: over there was probably around like twelve hundred to fifteen
- 49:52Speaker 3: hundred kids in the school.
- 49:54Speaker 1: Shut the shit down, the gym teachers. Fucking Sydney Sweeney.
- 49:58Speaker 3: I mean that happened to the Jim You're raped a
- 50:00Speaker 3: bunch of kids.
- 50:02Speaker 1: Was there a lockdown that day?
- 50:03Speaker 3: No, that was after I graduated. They found out. It
- 50:06Speaker 3: was when I was there that he was doing the raping.
- 50:08Speaker 1: Now statutory yes, still rape. Yes, I'm just clarifying.
- 50:14Speaker 3: Yeah, man, he probably threw some adults in there too
- 50:16Speaker 3: at that point.
- 50:18Speaker 1: It was that with those rape though.
- 50:21Speaker 3: I don't know that's a good question.
- 50:23Speaker 1: Statutory gives won't say it heavy episode.
- 50:29Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, we found out that Francis is boleimic, and
- 50:34Speaker 3: then we just went right into uh rape, rape and
- 50:37Speaker 3: mass shootings.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Uh heavy as.
- 50:41Speaker 5: I wonder what people who know eating disorders would say,
- 50:44Speaker 5: because you know the way, the reason I do that.
- 50:48Speaker 1: I mean it's kind of a pull the trigger warning.
- 50:50Speaker 5: It's yeah, right, it has nothing to do with how
- 50:53Speaker 5: I want to look.
- 50:54Speaker 3: No, I don't think what you're doing is weird at all.
- 50:57Speaker 3: It's not like it's not like every but it's not
- 50:59Speaker 3: like every meal you have your projectile vamum. Yeah, I
- 51:02Speaker 3: don't do that.
- 51:02Speaker 5: I do this maybe once a year, once every other
- 51:05Speaker 5: year or something like that.
- 51:06Speaker 1: So that's not a big it's not like very popular
- 51:08Speaker 1: for you to do.
- 51:09Speaker 3: No, limia is not popular right now.
- 51:11Speaker 1: How many times you guys expect to throw up this year?
- 51:14Speaker 3: Zero? I've thrown up once. I was gonna say that
- 51:17Speaker 3: before when we were talking about the puking. Let's get
- 51:19Speaker 3: back to that a little more of a light topic.
- 51:20Speaker 3: But I uh, I've thrown up once since I stopped drinking,
- 51:25Speaker 3: and it was the first time I've thrown up sober
- 51:28Speaker 3: since I was in sixth grade.
- 51:30Speaker 1: God damn, I'm good for you. At least one a year.
- 51:37Speaker 1: I'm a couple since the stomach bug.
- 51:39Speaker 5: From fully sober well, I obviously talk from anything, whether
- 51:45Speaker 5: it's drinking.
- 51:46Speaker 3: Oh no, eliminate drinking from this.
- 51:47Speaker 5: Motion sickness, car sickness, or or flew.
- 51:52Speaker 3: Motion sickness and car sickness.
- 51:53Speaker 1: Maybe less than one a year, maybe one every couple
- 51:55Speaker 1: of years.
- 51:56Speaker 5: What's the worst one, though, what's the worst reason.
- 52:02Speaker 3: To be the worst?
- 52:03Speaker 5: I was gonna I would say, I would say food
- 52:05Speaker 5: poisoning when you have.
- 52:06Speaker 3: It, But if you ever had nicotine sick.
- 52:10Speaker 5: I've gotten it where I almost thought I almost threw up.
- 52:13Speaker 1: Dude, it is like I've had that.
- 52:15Speaker 3: It's like a new feeling because it hits.
- 52:18Speaker 5: Out a No, that might have been when I did
- 52:20Speaker 5: the bong rips of the loose leaf to back.
- 52:24Speaker 3: What that was throwing up from like from like nicotine?
- 52:27Speaker 5: Is it?
- 52:29Speaker 3: We used to call it browning out. You know, people
- 52:33Speaker 3: said when you smoke weed like you green people green out.
- 52:36Speaker 5: Oh I didn't know that.
- 52:38Speaker 3: That's a real thing.
- 52:40Speaker 1: I mean we talked this is our early son of
- 52:41Speaker 1: a boy dad question. Yeah, you said it was real though,
- 52:44Speaker 1: and I believe you.
- 52:46Speaker 3: I it's happened to a couple of my friends.
- 52:49Speaker 5: They forget what happened while they were high.
- 52:51Speaker 3: Oh no, you like fully you like go down? Oh gosh, yeah,
- 52:54Speaker 3: that's fucking wild. And yo, dude, Nate just greened?
- 52:59Speaker 5: Did he was? He particularly susceptible to it now.
- 53:02Speaker 3: It happened to him once after and it was after
- 53:04Speaker 3: we did the bom rips of tobacco. But he also
- 53:07Speaker 3: did bom rips of weed, and.
- 53:09Speaker 1: Then that might have been a brown out.
- 53:10Speaker 3: It could have been a brown he could have brown.
- 53:12Speaker 5: Yeah, like a brown green cameo cameo out of Yeah,
- 53:18Speaker 5: sort of.
- 53:19Speaker 1: It's kind of your outfit brown out and greening out.
- 53:22Speaker 3: I'm really not happy about these pants, but all my
- 53:24Speaker 3: clothes are the wash right.
- 53:25Speaker 5: Now, those are the pants that caused you.
- 53:27Speaker 3: The pants that caused me to buy new pants.
- 53:29Speaker 5: No, they're the ones that's cause filming.
- 53:32Speaker 3: I knew it.
- 53:33Speaker 5: I saw them earlier, and I thought, why why.
- 53:36Speaker 3: The wist right? Why unnecessarily? Please? Please please?
- 53:41Speaker 1: They're like please there.
- 53:44Speaker 3: They are so wide at the waist, and then they're
- 53:48Speaker 3: wide at the thighs to but then the legs are not.
- 53:51Speaker 5: Wh can you give them a camera proper? The tables
- 53:55Speaker 5: in the way they need to see everything.
- 53:56Speaker 3: Also, I also accidentally put my belt to the I
- 54:00Speaker 3: brought my belt to the washing fold as well, so
- 54:02Speaker 3: no belts either.
- 54:04Speaker 1: I saw that. Yeah, I saw your boxers like I
- 54:06Speaker 1: thought you were just like sagging your pants low key earlier.
- 54:10Speaker 1: It's just the wide waist.
- 54:11Speaker 3: It's the wide waist, but they're not even that wide.
- 54:13Speaker 3: They're like thirty two. That's it, thirty two, I think, Yeah,
- 54:16Speaker 3: and they're just bad pants broken. Yeah.
- 54:21Speaker 1: One of the worst throw ups is when you have
- 54:23Speaker 1: like a viral infection and you're like shuddering next to
- 54:27Speaker 1: the toilet. Not even food poisoning, but it's like a
- 54:30Speaker 1: deep virus. You just need everything out.
- 54:32Speaker 3: Of your body. That's what I had when I threw
- 54:33Speaker 3: up this year.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Yeah, it just like curled up.
- 54:36Speaker 3: I've talked about that when I said that I was
- 54:38Speaker 3: throwing up so aggressively that I felt like my feet
- 54:40Speaker 3: were above my head, Like it felt like I was
- 54:44Speaker 3: lifting off from the ground. The amount of force.
- 54:49Speaker 1: Donkey kicking.
- 54:50Speaker 3: Yeah, it was duty. I mean it was like rotating
- 54:54Speaker 3: between throwing up and shitting and then it. But I
- 54:58Speaker 3: only threw up like when when you were saying earlier,
- 55:00Speaker 3: I was gonna ask you that when you said you
- 55:01Speaker 3: had three or you had four, do you count that
- 55:07Speaker 3: how many times you count? Well? Yeah, for me, that's four.
- 55:11Speaker 5: You threw up four times. If I if that was me,
- 55:14Speaker 5: like one session is.
- 55:15Speaker 3: A throw up for me, it's four. It's a session
- 55:17Speaker 3: for me, a session. No, you said it sucks equally
- 55:23Speaker 3: every single time. It's not like it's not like one
- 55:25Speaker 3: of them better.
- 55:26Speaker 5: Than once you've opened. The hardest part for me is
- 55:30Speaker 5: I stick my hand down my throat and whatever, and
- 55:35Speaker 5: I don't. It takes me like if I'm sober, it'll
- 55:37Speaker 5: take me seven or eight dry leaves until something comes out,
- 55:43Speaker 5: and that build up is what really SyES.
- 55:46Speaker 3: Which that's fucked up too.
- 55:47Speaker 5: But once you finally get it, then the gates are
- 55:50Speaker 5: open and then it you know, I'll do it until
- 55:53Speaker 5: I've cleared the.
- 55:54Speaker 3: Cylinder, like I said, so I said the first time.
- 55:57Speaker 3: That was the first time I've thrown up sober since
- 56:00Speaker 3: I was in sixth grade. And when I was in
- 56:03Speaker 3: sixth grade, I were like, when you're a child, do
- 56:05Speaker 3: you remember throwing up? Like it's just like you wake
- 56:08Speaker 3: up one day and you have to throw up, so
- 56:10Speaker 3: you go to the bathroom and you throw up. There's
- 56:14Speaker 3: like activating it. When I was throwing up this year,
- 56:17Speaker 3: I was like, why is this so hard to do?
- 56:21Speaker 3: I was like, well, I was like, I'm I'm actually
- 56:22Speaker 3: gonna I'm like, I'm sick and I'm actually gonna have
- 56:24Speaker 3: to pull Trigg to throw up. It's crazy.
- 56:27Speaker 1: You have to.
- 56:28Speaker 5: There are a lot of people who can't do that.
- 56:31Speaker 5: They can't even pull the trigger.
- 56:32Speaker 1: They just wait for it to become ship.
- 56:35Speaker 3: Waiting for it to become shit is what I usually do.
- 56:37Speaker 5: You know what those But there's.
- 56:39Speaker 3: Mustiple nights I go to bed on the verge of
- 56:41Speaker 3: throwing up and then I just wait overnight and then
- 56:43Speaker 3: I wake up and I shoot it out.
- 56:50Speaker 5: I believe you. I believe you.
- 56:52Speaker 1: I think he's telling the truth.
- 56:55Speaker 5: I was out super late last night.
- 56:58Speaker 3: Hey, you'd a cool night? I did.
- 57:00Speaker 5: I went.
- 57:01Speaker 3: Were you surprised that I was awake when you texted me?
- 57:03Speaker 3: Not at all? Francis for texting at like three am?
- 57:07Speaker 5: I texted Ass at two thirty.
- 57:09Speaker 3: I knew he was up. I knew he'd be up.
- 57:11Speaker 5: He's the only person I know who'd be up, who
- 57:13Speaker 5: lives in this time zone. And I knew he'd be up.
- 57:16Speaker 5: Why wouldn't he be up? Oh, by the way, it
- 57:19Speaker 5: was so funny. So yes, I went to the cellar
- 57:22Speaker 5: and uh got to watch Shane work out his monologue,
- 57:26Speaker 5: which was really cool, killous, and uh then I but
- 57:31Speaker 5: he did all the shows, so it was there pretty late.
- 57:34Speaker 5: And then I got in a cab and I was
- 57:36Speaker 5: on my way home texting Sass.
- 57:37Speaker 3: Did you have spots or were you just kissing?
- 57:39Speaker 5: Ass? I had spots at the stand earlier. And then
- 57:41Speaker 5: I just went over there. Yeah, I know, well to
- 57:44Speaker 5: that end. To that end, they got together for a picture,
- 57:48Speaker 5: a bunch of the comics there, and I didn't get in.
- 57:51Speaker 3: Why you were in it last time?
- 57:54Speaker 5: I had spots that night.
- 57:55Speaker 3: Bruh, you got to get in.
- 57:57Speaker 5: I didn't want to be part of a picture if
- 57:58Speaker 5: I didn't have spots at the club that night, and
- 58:01Speaker 5: Will Silvan's got He was like, dude, why didn't you
- 58:02Speaker 5: get in the picture? And I was like, because I
- 58:04Speaker 5: didn't have any spots, and he was like, that's ridiculous.
- 58:06Speaker 3: You're passed at the club.
- 58:08Speaker 5: I don't want to be a barnacle.
- 58:10Speaker 3: That's crazy. Call me an old with that old school.
- 58:14Speaker 1: He's old school.
- 58:15Speaker 3: I mean I would have done the exact same thing,
- 58:17Speaker 3: but I think I overthink it.
- 58:19Speaker 5: I'm sure I overthought it, but it's also just my
- 58:21Speaker 5: own policy, Like I want to earn the picture. In
- 58:24Speaker 5: the picture, I would post game photo, you know.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Wait for them to tell you.
- 58:30Speaker 3: If Francis texted me last night and was like, come
- 58:32Speaker 3: to the cellar, I'm here with which you definitely could have.
- 58:36Speaker 3: I live across the street from there, I would have
- 58:37Speaker 3: been nice to get that text.
- 58:38Speaker 5: I didn't go until midnight, and I didn't know.
- 58:42Speaker 3: It's not a big deal. But because he called you
- 58:45Speaker 3: at the end, he didn't know I was going to
- 58:47Speaker 3: be up and he knows how close I lived to there.
- 58:48Speaker 5: If I had asked you at that hour to come
- 58:50Speaker 5: to the cellar, you would have been like, dude, no,
- 58:52Speaker 5: I don't think I can do.
- 58:53Speaker 3: That, probably, but I would have definitely considered it.
- 58:57Speaker 5: I love giving you the I heard you know what
- 59:02Speaker 5: the weird sitter was.
- 59:02Speaker 3: I heard the laughs from my apartment and I was like, the.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Coach killing You heard this camera.
- 59:11Speaker 3: Francis dodging photos, not taking there like paparazzi. There no
- 59:17Speaker 3: legitimate question.
- 59:18Speaker 5: No, no, I don't think so.
- 59:20Speaker 1: Who else was on the shows?
- 59:22Speaker 5: Uh? Well he Shane went up right before David te
- 59:26Speaker 5: So that was the late show that was in the picture.
- 59:28Speaker 5: It's David Tal Shane will Selvan's big party. Maybe you
- 59:38Speaker 5: Reggie Conquests.
- 59:41Speaker 3: Was a tight photo. It wasn't like last photo.
- 59:44Speaker 5: Four or five. And then and then they did another
- 59:45Speaker 5: one and a couple more people got in and I
- 59:47Speaker 5: just stayed on that.
- 59:48Speaker 3: But it wasn't like the because the the og photo
- 59:50Speaker 3: is like thirty Killers. The one I'm in it's like Delta,
- 59:53Speaker 3: It's like Delta Force. That one's fun. But I that
- 59:56Speaker 3: was the one where Godfrey was like told me to get. Yeah,
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: I love that. That's a big one. Yeah.
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: He organized the folk because he had his camera.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: Guy there, Gilbert.
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: Francis.
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: I'm on my way home. Yeah, and I textas and
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: I told him, like, yo, I tell him about the
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: how great I thought Jane's monologue was.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: They didn't Huh they didn't, did I not? No, I
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: was going to ask you how it was. I forgot
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: to ask.
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: What did I say to you? I don't know.
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: He told me you were just like I'm so tired.
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: I think I said, I just went and did this,
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: and like, I don't know. I was like, I don't
- 1:00:39Speaker 5: know how I'm awake right now?
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: Yeah I knew.
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: I was like I don't. Basically, I was trying to say, like,
- 1:00:42Speaker 5: I don't know how you stay up to this hour
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: every night.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: Yeah. That was pretty much the exact conversation. Yeah.
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: And then he goes by the way where he was like,
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: so we have to be in at eleven tomorrow.
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: Yeah, that was the conversation. I'm looking at it right now.
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: He he reminded me that we were coming in to
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: shoot play Madden for Round dot com. Yeah, coming out soon.
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: When is that video coming out tonight? Fuck? Yeah that
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: is gonna be an all timer. If you liked the
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: Steak video, I would highly recommend that you watch Francis
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: versus Sass playing Madden.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gonna be a classic.
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: It'll be a good one. But yeah, it was pretty much.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: The conversation was just what just leaving the cellar? Watch
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: Chaine's monologue and it tell I can't even think I'm
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: so tired. And then I was tired as fuck too,
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: so I said, I said, uh, damn, that sounds sick.
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: And then I said, do we have to be an
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: at eleven tomorrow? Yeah?
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: I think I was gonna follow that up with like
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: it was amazing or something, and then they switched us
- 1:01:40Speaker 5: into like, which, by the way, first time that's ever happened. Yeah,
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: you being like, wait, when are we do?
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: Because I was in my head. I was like, yeah,
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: I was like, Francis is out late. Yeah, I was like,
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: maybe we don't have to be an.
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: Do I not know that this has been canceled?
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: When I grew up for another four hours.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: Yeah, the fact that you were up at eight to
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: eat that primary after being out until.
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: Three, dude, I got up at seven point fifteen. Jesus,
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: I couldn't sleep any longer. And that's also part of
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: why I.
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: Feel Why could you not sleep longer? Dude, I'm terrible
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: at sleeping. Yeah, terrible at it. I woke up at
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: eight and then I took a big dump and then
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: I fell back asleep.
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: Tough life.
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: It's the dream.
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: I don't even dare buy one of those devices that
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: tells you what your sleep score is because I just
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: know it would ruin my day every day.
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: Yeah, those things are fucking insane. Fortunately, one percent recovery. Yeah,
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: you're like, I feel pretty good today.
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: You actually hurt yourself sleeping?
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, do not move today.
- 1:02:48Speaker 5: We recommend that you not do your normal activities. Yeah.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: Yeah, So nothing were when I would like when I
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: would have when I used to have. Like, I still
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: have a fitbit and I wear it a case, but
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: when I wear it, if I'm on the road and
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: I'm like traveling the next day, I'll take it off
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: at night because I'm like, I know I'm gonna get
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: like five hours of sleep and I'm gonna feel fine,
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: and I don't need this thing telling me that I
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: actually was only asleep for three hours.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: You were asleep for ten minutes. Yeah, and none of
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: it was REM. Yeah, you got to none of your
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: what's that red zone or blue zone or what's.
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: The fucking the you're supposed to get what like an
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: hour ten of REM something around there.
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: Oh, I don't know. I thought it was more than that.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: I would kill for some REM.
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: I don't get any all right. I got one more thing.
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: If I take a melotone and I get literally I
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: would take those all ee meloton and gummies. Dude, I
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: I fought. I've talked about this, but I had to
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: stop taking them because I was I was wearing the
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: fitbit and I would look and it would be like
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: eight hours of REM sleep, like literally, like the whole
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: night I was dreaming intensely.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: You wake up a new season. Yeah, you have a beard.
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: It would be like, dude, you would be like the
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: the you'd wake up the next day and it'd be
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: the most tired you've ever been.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: Yeah, even though you got good sleep, I don't.
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: Even know that. I don't think that is good. I
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: think that's too much wren.
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: I ate the whole packet, almost of the melotonin things
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: at the mini bar. You were trying to end it, well,
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: I mean I ate ten of them. Serving size was two.
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: They were sweet, they were I slept as if I
- 1:04:19Speaker 5: had done the Michael Jackson treatment.
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: Dude, that I almost died.
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: Can you? I mean you, how long did you sleep
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: for the normal amount? But it was I woke up
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: and I didn't.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: Know where I was. If I took ten of these,
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: I wouldn't wake up ever, not even kidding. I'll give
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: you one. You want one for the flight?
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: No, that'll just make me drowsy.
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: Well if I give you two, will you take two
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: tonight and then report back.
- 1:04:49Speaker 5: You want me to do it tonight?
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, but it will fuck up your day tomorrow,
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: that's okay. Yeah, you're gonna be skiing.
- 1:04:59Speaker 5: Okay, you've talked me out of it.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: Let him do it.
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: I thought you wanted me to do this.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: Let him be his own man. I think I got
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: him on me, And if you kill him on the mountain,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: that's on you.
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: It says take as needed, no food or water necessary.
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: Eat something with them. You will throw up? Really, yes,
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: It says take two gummies thirty minutes before bed. I
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: take one and I literally cannot open my eyes twelve
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: hours later.
- 1:05:37Speaker 5: Well these look tasty.
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: Actually, let me see that before you open it. Let
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: me see it. I love this slaver because I'm gonna
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: have to give you because there's a couple like half
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: halfs in here, because they're so strong that sometimes we
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: only take half and then I still am fucked up.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: And what if you took it right now, like would
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: you be asleep?
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: You wouldn't be able to do the rest of the day.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Okay, I want to take one too.
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: I want to eat them, but I want to do
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: I want to eat them for the taste.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: I'm no ill, I have a dinner to go to.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: Well, don't take it tonight, don't take it right now.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: I don't even want your hard drugs.
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: They're not hard drugs.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: They're at CD pack full of things that will kill
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: Francis and take them. You're just walking around you.
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: I am very curious see what you say, though, genuinely
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: because I'm wondering if maybe I'm just super sensitive to melatonin.
- 1:06:31Speaker 5: I've done melatonin before. I've done melatonin, I've done magnesium,
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: I've tried all these things.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: I tell people that these are like this is like
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: I've taken melatonin before. This is the strongest shit I've
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: ever taken. Melatonin elthionine and botonic botonicals botanicals. How is
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: that what it's called? Botanicals. I've never seen that word
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: before in my.
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: Entire life, like botanical gardens. No, never the Brooklyn Botanical Garden.
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: Oh, I guess I have. I've heard that. I never
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: read the word. I said, botonicals, Botonicalso grams of sugar, though,
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: so be careful. If you're on keto, these aren't for you.
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: I'm not on keto.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: Does he look like a guy who needs to be
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: on keto doing a fad diet?
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: Wait?
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: What was the last thing you wanted to talk about?
- 1:07:26Speaker 3: I guess we should say it for the next episode.
- 1:07:29Speaker 5: Sure, okay, I have to leave, might as well? Might
- 1:07:33Speaker 5: as well?
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: You have to leave in like an hour.
- 1:07:35Speaker 5: I've gotta leave sooner than that.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: Okay, we'll do We'll do the next episode.
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: Do you want to do a second episode?
- 1:07:40Speaker 5: And now?
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: Oh? Wait?
- 1:07:40Speaker 5: No?
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Oh you're talking about another episode?
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: Now?
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: I don't think I could do another episode?
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: Can Oh? Okay?
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: I wasn't the impression we were doing too.
- 1:07:47Speaker 5: I was hoping to but uh, I gotta run.
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: Oh okay, then let's just keep going.
- 1:07:52Speaker 5: Okay, do you have timing.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Yeah, no, no, I can, I can.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: I'm not in a rush, right, I don't need.
- 1:07:57Speaker 5: To end this, by the way, I'm sorry. I hate
- 1:08:00Speaker 5: to ask to cut something, but like I don't want
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: I don't. I don't want to be the reason that
- 1:08:05Speaker 5: we didn't do.
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what I mean. Yeah, but I just
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: I thought we were I thought we were doing too m.
- 1:08:13Speaker 5: Okay, perfect.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: We had to take a pause. Francis took two of
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: the gummies and he had to go throw up in
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: the bathroom. He didn't believe me that I would make
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: him puke.
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: All right, So the least on my old apartment ends
- 1:08:31Speaker 5: on Friday tomorrow. This is the apartment that I lived
- 1:08:35Speaker 5: in with my I.
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: Can't believe you have to you had two apartments this
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: entire time.
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: I mean I didn't. I didn't live there.
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: Would you ever stop by? Yeah, poke around?
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: We just like sit on the floor, like read a book.
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: But but she she moved out a couple months ago,
- 1:08:51Speaker 5: so it's just been laying. It's been sitting empty.
- 1:08:53Speaker 3: Could have told me I would again conut lived in
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: our name. Yeah, that would be sick. Would you have
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: make a little office.
- 1:09:04Speaker 5: Anyway? There was still stuff in it, some of mine,
- 1:09:07Speaker 5: some other things, furniture stuff, and that's the worst. I
- 1:09:12Speaker 5: had to go and get all of it out. Yeah,
- 1:09:15Speaker 5: and to do so, I had to hire a junk
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: removal team, which, by the way, I mean, I hate
- 1:09:25Speaker 5: to say it, but if you just have shit and
- 1:09:29Speaker 5: you don't know what to do with it, you can't
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: figure out how to get rid of it, you can
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: pay someone a couple hundred bucks. Oh yeah, to just
- 1:09:37Speaker 5: take everything you own and get rid of it.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Yeah, it's always Russians. Were Russians.
- 1:09:45Speaker 5: No fuck, I have.
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: Heard that the junk industry is mainly Russians.
- 1:09:52Speaker 5: It's kind of it's kind of a sickening realization. I mean,
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: to me, it was like because we I had wanted
- 1:09:59Speaker 5: us to try to sell out on Facebook Marketplace, but
- 1:10:01Speaker 5: we didn't get our act together in time. Well was
- 1:10:03Speaker 5: it furniture?
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: A couch?
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: A good couch, all right? A good couch? How big?
- 1:10:10Speaker 5: Too big? Way too big for your place?
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: You could have doubled record, you could have.
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: Made a lot.
- 1:10:16Speaker 5: Put it this way. If you can't fit a fucking
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: mirror in your apartment, you can't fit this couch in
- 1:10:20Speaker 5: the apartment.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: You just put it on a couch on the back
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: of a door or something like.
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not a bad idea. I could probably fit
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: it in that long hallway. Just have the hallway be
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: all couch over it kitchen, it would fit in there.
- 1:10:35Speaker 5: Builds a ramp up so you can walk over it.
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: Anyway.
- 1:10:40Speaker 5: These guys come in and there's uh. They come in
- 1:10:45Speaker 5: and I go to supervis. This is seven thirty in
- 1:10:47Speaker 5: the morning. This is today, yesterday, okay, and uh. Immediately
- 1:10:53Speaker 5: they start they start getting to work. They're awesome, getting
- 1:10:56Speaker 5: rid of stuff. And then they take the couch. Yeah,
- 1:11:01Speaker 5: and they take it to the elevator and they come
- 1:11:03Speaker 5: back and they tell me that thing's not going to
- 1:11:05Speaker 5: fit in the elevator. And I say, there's just no
- 1:11:09Speaker 5: way it doesn't because it couldn't have come up any
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: other way. Couch doctor, buddy. So my wife had brought
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: the couch in when I was not there, couch doctor.
- 1:11:23Speaker 5: She didn't tell me that she had hired the doctor.
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: The couch doctor.
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: Yeah, she didn't tell you that the doctor was in town.
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: This guy, apparently is some sort of sadistic is a magician.
- 1:11:33Speaker 5: He's like the Sid from the Joys Story of Ye
- 1:11:37Speaker 5: Furniture of oz he dissembles furniture in a way and
- 1:11:40Speaker 5: then rebuild builds it, you know, in your apartment. I
- 1:11:43Speaker 5: didn't know any of this.
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it's one of my world famous bits.
- 1:11:47Speaker 5: So is that right?
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: I didn't. I didn't know if I've heard that bit classic.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: I heard it out of Schumer's mouth, but I heard it.
- 1:11:55Speaker 5: Yeah. So I go to the I'm like, there's no way,
- 1:11:59Speaker 5: and I go to the fucking elevator to try to
- 1:12:02Speaker 5: help them, and I'm like trying to shove this thing
- 1:12:05Speaker 5: in and we realize okay, yeah, it's not gonna fit.
- 1:12:09Speaker 5: And then as I'm trying to help them blower it out,
- 1:12:11Speaker 5: I slice my hand over oh ew, and now my
- 1:12:14Speaker 5: hand's bleeding everywhere. This is a shitty place to cut
- 1:12:18Speaker 5: your hand, because you can't. When you close it, it
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: just reopens. Yeah. So now I'm bleeding, and I'm really
- 1:12:26Speaker 5: baffled about this couch.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: Yeah, are you just furious?
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: I'm a up situation.
- 1:12:31Speaker 5: I'm kind of really unsure of what to do.
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: You don't know what to do, They don't know what
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: to do.
- 1:12:35Speaker 5: Yeah, And then the guy tells me, all right, so
- 1:12:39Speaker 5: now we can uh, now we're gonna have to saw it. Yeah,
- 1:12:43Speaker 5: in half, but that's gonna cost you an extra hundred bucks.
- 1:12:47Speaker 5: I said, I don't, okay, in for a penny in.
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: Couch doctor charges like nine hundred.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Yeah, so, but you'll retain the value of the restoration
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: hardware couch if you use the couch doctor. If you
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: saw it in half. There's no resale on that. Yeah,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: that's probably why they're charging you the hundred because these
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: Russians love to resell everything that you have.
- 1:13:05Speaker 5: Well, I wanted these guys to take the couch and
- 1:13:08Speaker 5: resell it, and they said, we have nowhere to put it.
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: They probably just reselled that resold the halves. It's like this,
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: yeah yeah yeah. Uh.
- 1:13:19Speaker 5: Well, anyway, then they sawed a couch in half in
- 1:13:22Speaker 5: front of me. Which did they do it in the
- 1:13:25Speaker 5: They we brought it back into the apartment.
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: Okay, that's good.
- 1:13:28Speaker 5: And uh it was the loudest thing I've ever heard
- 1:13:32Speaker 5: seven thirty in the morning, seven forty.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Five, and I thought I heard something, Honestly.
- 1:13:38Speaker 5: Dude, there was there was like springs and metal in
- 1:13:43Speaker 5: the middle of the couch.
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: Dude, they did this to me in the in the day,
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: I moved into my apartment in the lobby of the building.
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: They had to set up a fucking they had to
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: put out like tarps and then put the couch on
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: top of it, and there's like wood shavings everywhere. The
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: supers cut out, like what's going on.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: They were like, definitely stealing this guy spell.
- 1:14:04Speaker 5: Fucked so they saw it. It in half and then they
- 1:14:09Speaker 5: took everything out and uh, I guess that's my story.
- 1:14:13Speaker 5: But it was a tough morning. And then and that
- 1:14:16Speaker 5: was the day where then as the day wore on,
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: I got the ticket for the pike. Brutal day, had
- 1:14:24Speaker 5: a tough day.
- 1:14:24Speaker 3: You go to see some some some good comedy though
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: I did. That was in the next day. That was
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: after one am. True, still though, it's good way to
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: end the night. Like if you didn't see that, you
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: probably would have gone home and been like Dan today
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: fucking blew.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: At least you got to see that in history. History
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: will look back on that day. It is a nice day,
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: I wonder, And you got some fat bits out of it.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: Make it some hay on the podcast.
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: Hate to break it to you though that that that
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: couch doctor bits off limits already been done.
- 1:14:51Speaker 5: Yeah, I wouldn't want to step on Shoomer's toes, I
- 1:14:54Speaker 5: wouldn't want to tread on her.
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: Dude, that feeling of moving out when you when you
- 1:15:01Speaker 3: I remember when I moved to my current apartment and
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: we were living in West Village and I moved out
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: like two or three weeks before our leads ended, and
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: I had to go back to our apartment to like
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: get the rest of my shit. You and you move
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: and you're like, I pretty much got everything. I just
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: got to go back and grab a couple of things
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: and then you forget that. It's like, oh, no, I
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: need to like everything. Yeah, you're like, oh that coat hanger.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: You always underestimated.
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: Well, the one place sent boxes when I moved out
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: of my last place, and I was like, they're like,
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: how many do you need? And you have no idea.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: So I was like, I'll get forty boxes. And they
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: came and they're like, no, you need one hundred and
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: sixty boxes. Jesus, like, you need so many more boxes
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: than the amount of these like pink stackable boxes than
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: they had. It fucking sucked.
- 1:15:46Speaker 3: So I hope that I can just stay in my
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: apartment long enough that I get successful enough that I
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: could just buy the unit so that I just never
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: have to go through that process again.
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: Just why don't you just get the junker?
- 1:15:57Speaker 5: Fuck?
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: Why you just get the junk removal he's talking about I.
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: Would, I mean, like my couch, I'm definitely not bringing
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: with me.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: How much stuff did it wind up being?
- 1:16:08Speaker 5: Uh, it was a sort of a sleeper's over that
- 1:16:12Speaker 5: was beat to hell. So that was fine, a rug
- 1:16:17Speaker 5: a TV console, bookshelves, then E console.
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: M h what is that? Oh? Like the thing that
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: holds the TV.
- 1:16:25Speaker 5: No, the thing that holds the cable box and all
- 1:16:30Speaker 5: the wiring.
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: You didn't want to keep that?
- 1:16:32Speaker 5: I didn't. I didn't have the en option. I'm sickened
- 1:16:36Speaker 5: by the way that I handled this.
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: Man, you gotta do what you gotta do.
- 1:16:41Speaker 5: At some point, there's nothing. You get to a point
- 1:16:43Speaker 5: in time where you say this is the way it
- 1:16:46Speaker 5: has to be.
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: Yeah, there you throw out ship that you should keep
- 1:16:49Speaker 3: when you move exactly in New York City.
- 1:16:52Speaker 5: I just didn't have Also, I didn't have it. I
- 1:16:53Speaker 5: didn't have a choice. I had to be out by Friday, and.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: Sometimes it's probably for the best that you're going. I
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: didn't rid of that much stuff because imagine if you
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: lived in the suburbs or something, and you had tons
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: of space to just keep all the stuff, where if
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: it wasn't squeezed by space, you would probably just be like,
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: I don't think you need this.
- 1:17:11Speaker 5: I will say I when I moved from that apartment
- 1:17:14Speaker 5: to my new apartment where I live now, my new
- 1:17:17Speaker 5: apartment is like a third of the size of my
- 1:17:20Speaker 5: old one.
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: Yeah, and.
- 1:17:23Speaker 5: It's I don't have any ability to let clutter build. Yeah,
- 1:17:29Speaker 5: it's just too small. And it's it's smaller than your
- 1:17:32Speaker 5: apartment my apartment. Yeah, And I don't mean that as
- 1:17:36Speaker 5: a slight.
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: Oh, I'm not taking it as a slight, taking it
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: as a win.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: No, because it's much nicer.
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: It is much nicer.
- 1:17:42Speaker 5: I have an oven.
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: Your apartment's not nicer than mine.
- 1:17:46Speaker 5: Okay, that's fine.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: But it does I mean force as someone who's been
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: to both apartments.
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: You have been to my apartment since I redid it.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: What did you redo?
- 1:18:00Speaker 3: You haven't been. I don't think you've even been since
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: I had the carpet.
- 1:18:02Speaker 5: Since the big renovation.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I dropped the rogan kettlebell off. What are you
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: talking about?
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: But that wasn't when it was at it It was that
- 1:18:08Speaker 3: wasn't it fine?
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: That was a month ago.
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: That wasn't its finest hour?
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: What are you talking about?
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: There's ship hanging. It's great, great space.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Francis's apartment is like cutting edge modern.
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: Yeah, that sucks. You like it because he wants to
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: feel like they're falling asleep in a fucking apple store
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: every night.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: Bob Dylla walked down your street one time. You're like,
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: I'll plant my flag here.
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: Bob Dylan might have lived in my actual apartment unit.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: That's definitely why you fucking bought it.
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: Yeah, West Village.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: I mean everyone that his apartments are very documented. Yeah
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: they are, so he definitely didn't live in your unit.
- 1:18:47Speaker 5: No. By the way, did you see the clip of
- 1:18:52Speaker 5: Zach Bryan who he was at the bar and there was, yeah,
- 1:18:57Speaker 5: someone someone was filming him or something, and and he
- 1:19:01Speaker 5: got mad at that guy. And then that guy said
- 1:19:05Speaker 5: something like, you know, I'm just out trying to film
- 1:19:08Speaker 5: me and my friends having a good time living our
- 1:19:10Speaker 5: young lives, being who we are, finding our souls, and
- 1:19:14Speaker 5: Zach bryanoes, that's the gayest thing I've ever had. And then, dude,
- 1:19:18Speaker 5: I thought that was so funny because then I heard
- 1:19:23Speaker 5: listened again to what the guy had said. Who talks
- 1:19:27Speaker 5: that way?
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: That makes me want to listen back to what the
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: guy said.
- 1:19:33Speaker 5: I think I sent it to you too, because I.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: Think, well, the original clip I said, I think just
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: kind of jumped ahead to him saying that's the gayest
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: thing I ever heard. They were planning a takedown on him.
- 1:19:43Speaker 5: But you gotta see, you got to hear what the
- 1:19:45Speaker 5: guy says first. Yeah, something I would say.
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: Yeah, it's an insane thing to say. Yeah, I'm trying
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: to film me and my friends living our young lives
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: so we can remember this down the road.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: Yeah, when you're trying trying to film the celebrity.
- 1:19:58Speaker 5: He's like, I'm trying to create memory of in real time,
- 1:20:01Speaker 5: of the moments that my friends and I will cherish
- 1:20:03Speaker 5: for the rest of our lives and show our children.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: Because didn't Zach Bryan say, like, do you work for
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: a ray band? Like why are you? Why are you
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: wearing those? I don't know if you guys see the
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: whole video, the whole video.
- 1:20:14Speaker 5: I always saw that part. I thought it was pretty funny.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: It was very funny. What else? What else?
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: Dates? I'm going to be in Atlanta this weekend or Alfaretta.
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: Oh shit, I got a lot of good recommendations. I'm
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: where to go fishing. I had to buy a suitcase
- 1:20:34Speaker 3: so that I can bring my fishing stuff and my PlayStation. Well,
- 1:20:37Speaker 3: I got a portable monitor. That's pretty sick.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: That's sick.
- 1:20:41Speaker 3: It's super sick.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Are you getting a new headset?
- 1:20:44Speaker 5: Now?
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: Should? Why? I have three headsets?
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: The audio quality is ship though on my headsets?
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: Yeah, no it's not.
- 1:20:51Speaker 5: Hey, can I ask you a question and I want
- 1:20:53Speaker 5: you to give me an honest answer.
- 1:20:54Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:20:55Speaker 5: If let's say money were no object, is there some
- 1:21:01Speaker 5: unbelievable video game? Yeah, I get a PC thing thing
- 1:21:06Speaker 5: that you wish you could get?
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: Yeah? PC?
- 1:21:10Speaker 5: Why PC?
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: Because they're better than consoles in every single way?
- 1:21:15Speaker 5: And you'd play your video games on a computer.
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: I would play with a controller on a PC. That's
- 1:21:21Speaker 3: how like most that's how like professional Call of Duty's played.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: We'll get there, kid.
- 1:21:26Speaker 5: How much do those cost? Yeah?
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: Anywhere from like two to one hundred thousand dollars?
- 1:21:33Speaker 5: Really? Yeah, two thousand?
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: Like you could get like a good I think you
- 1:21:38Speaker 3: get like a good PC and a good setup for
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: like a couple of grands.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: I feel like that's so attainable for you for the
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: amount of time you spend gaming.
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: I also don't want to build a PC. You have
- 1:21:52Speaker 3: to build it yourself a lot of times. If you
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: want to go one, could you hire some guy who
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: you could hire someone to build it.
- 1:21:57Speaker 5: That'd be kind of cool.
- 1:21:58Speaker 3: But it's like I was talking to Joe from the
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: Stand the other night about it, because he is PC
- 1:22:02Speaker 3: and he said his is like five grand. It's still
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: he's still adding on to it. I get it, like
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: it's kind of something that you just are constantly like
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: buying new shit to make it better.
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: Grad That sounds like it's right up your alley as
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: a gearhead.
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's just too expensive. I'm not spending five
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: thousand dollars on a PC.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: You just said two thousand dollars, but I'm not.
- 1:22:22Speaker 3: I don't. I don't want to get a shitty PC.
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: I'd rather just wait until I can get a good one.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: Yeah this year maybe.
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: No, No, there's no, there's no reason for me to
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: have one right now.
- 1:22:33Speaker 5: But here's the thing. Ready. So I have a friend
- 1:22:36Speaker 5: who talks and I've talked about this before, the value
- 1:22:38Speaker 5: of certain things, right, yeah, things that he can really
- 1:22:41Speaker 5: justify spending money on one bed. He says, there's almost
- 1:22:46Speaker 5: no price too high for a bed when you break
- 1:22:50Speaker 5: it down to how many hours you spend using that
- 1:22:53Speaker 5: thing part of your life, it's insane, right. Two TV
- 1:22:58Speaker 5: TVs are unbelievable underpriced in his opinion. Yeah, they are
- 1:23:02Speaker 5: because the fact that we watch so many hours of
- 1:23:06Speaker 5: programming and entertainment on our televisions, and they're like a
- 1:23:10Speaker 5: really great TVs, like twelve hundred bucks. Yeah, uh three,
- 1:23:14Speaker 5: I think was couch again, Sit on it, use it
- 1:23:18Speaker 5: all the time for you. Five thousand dollars for a
- 1:23:23Speaker 5: PC given the amount of hours you spend playing video games,
- 1:23:26Speaker 5: to me, seems totally reasonable.
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: Yeah, but there's like other factors, like it wouldn't make
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: sense because all my friends play on console, which I
- 1:23:32Speaker 3: could still play with them, but like you'd have an
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: unfair advantage. I would have an unfair Like it'd be
- 1:23:37Speaker 3: like it's like playing a different game because it's so
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: much faster, like the frames per second, like pretty much
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: like so I play on a PlayStation five and I
- 1:23:47Speaker 3: get like my latency is usually anywhere from like ten
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: milliseconds to like sixty milliseconds. If I'm at home. It's
- 1:23:57Speaker 3: like like if I'm at my apartment, it's usually hubards
- 1:23:59Speaker 3: or I'm like twenty to thirty like professional setups, like
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: PC setups, they hover at like one millisecond and their
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: frames per second is more than like the place like
- 1:24:12Speaker 3: I think, like I think a PlayStation caps out at
- 1:24:16Speaker 3: like one hundred frames per second and PCs are average
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: at like two fifty.
- 1:24:24Speaker 5: I'm gonna be in New Brunswick, New Jersey on March eighth,
- 1:24:30Speaker 5: and then I'm gonna be in Providence April tenth and eleventh,
- 1:24:34Speaker 5: and I am adding a ton of dates coming to
- 1:24:38Speaker 5: a lot of cities. It's gonna be Phoenix, San Diego, Dallas, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston. Uh,
- 1:24:50Speaker 5: that's a lot of cities all all over. So just
- 1:24:54Speaker 5: stay tuned for that.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: And watch these two guys play Madden midnight Thursday night football.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: Watch it live on road dot com.
- 1:25:03Speaker 5: Yeah, my tickets are at Francis punch Up dot Live
- 1:25:06Speaker 5: slash rates of sUAS. Thank you guys.
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: Oh wait, I still I am curious about this. No. Yeah,
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: high end PC's peak or get like up to like
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: two hundred fps and PlayStations get like around one hundred.
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: PlayStation caps at one. Okay, PCs can go up to
- 1:25:22Speaker 3: like three hundred, so it's like it's like we're playing
- 1:25:24Speaker 3: a different game.
- 1:25:24Speaker 5: If you're waiting for that information.
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: There are people that are waiting for that information.
- 1:25:30Speaker 5: I would highly recommend a few other podcasts.
- 1:25:35Speaker 3: I want to be in Atlanta this weekend or whatever
- 1:25:37Speaker 3: you want to call it, because a lot of people
- 1:25:39Speaker 3: are mad that I say it's Atlanta, but it's called
- 1:25:41Speaker 3: Atlanta Helium, So not really much I can do about that.
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: Harris had a website dot com for tickets.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: So it's faster.
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: On was a.
- 1:26:10Speaker 12: Step still under ground, so I looked out to you,
- 1:26:24Speaker 12: skame a rise.
- 1:26:27Speaker 13: I was only falling one way. I was only falling
- 1:26:35Speaker 13: one way. Jay were drifted.
- 1:26:44Speaker 12: Foo F was.
- 1:26:50Speaker 13: So?
- 1:26:52Speaker 11: So then you leave summon.
- 1:26:56Speaker 13: No I come alone. I was on a phone in love.
- 1:27:07Speaker 13: I was on the phone. I was on your phone
- 1:27:14Speaker 13: in one way.

- 1:27:41Speaker 13: I was phoning one way. See just a distant the
- 1:27:58Speaker 13: bas fastball.
- 1:28:00Speaker 11: Came just a man.
- 1:28:02Speaker 13: Not take the juicisis jaj.
- 1:28:51Speaker 11: Dot.
- 1:29:15Speaker 10: I don't want to owe you, don't really want to
- 1:29:19Speaker 10: know you. I want to say your mom. I just
- 1:29:27Speaker 10: want to see you, take some comfort from you.
- 1:29:33Speaker 8: I'll pretend everything is just bad. He's comforting this isolation,
- 1:29:41Speaker 8: but he's got an awful ammutation, wasted precious time high.
- 1:29:48Speaker 8: Don't say you love me? How can you want me?
- 1:29:54Speaker 8: When I don't know how to let you get that
- 1:29:59Speaker 8: close to me? Cavale something?

- 1:30:14Speaker 3: It's just my.
- 1:30:15Speaker 8: Phone up for you.
- 1:30:17Speaker 10: The rest of me is mine slup that I don't
- 1:30:24Speaker 10: trust you, truly, not about you.
- 1:30:28Speaker 8: So please don't try get inside. I can mine. It's
- 1:30:34Speaker 8: a growing fascination. More than just a recreation, It's a
- 1:30:40Speaker 8: constant state of mind. Don't say you love me? How
- 1:30:48Speaker 8: can you want me? When I know how to let
- 1:30:54Speaker 8: you get that close to me?
- 1:30:56Speaker 13: Cabin something? Where have somma? When I don't know how
- 1:31:05Speaker 13: to get that close?

- 1:31:27Speaker 8: He don't say love me? How can you want me?
- 1:31:35Speaker 8: When I don't know how let you get that close
