- 0:18Speaker 1: 800-321-0710 is the number. Let's go to Joel in Connecticut. Joel,
- 0:22Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 0:22Speaker 2: Hello, Mark.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Yes, Joel.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Hello, Mr. Mark Simone. It's a pleasure to hear your voice, sir.
- 0:27Speaker 2: All right.
- 0:29Speaker 3: I just wanted to say that, you know, one of
- 0:32Speaker 3: the dirty tricks the Democrats do is that they have
- 0:36Speaker 3: their government employees call people up who are, let's say,
- 0:40Speaker 3: eligible for this subsidy or that subsidy if they want
- 0:46Speaker 3: to get free food three times a day, free meals
- 0:50Speaker 3: three times a day if they vote Democratic.
- 0:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Well, that's old-style politics. That happens.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Well, I tell you, it's very dirty, very dirty.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Nah, it's typical. It's politics. That's the way they do things,
- 1:04Speaker 1: especially the old-school politicians. Let's go to Bill in New Jersey. Bill,
- 1:09Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 1:11Speaker 5: Okay, thanks, Mark.
- 1:13Speaker 6: Uh... two quick point this guy lander who was picking
- 1:15Speaker 6: all of the over in israel you know he had
- 1:17Speaker 6: a small planned out obviously i'm gonna go to israel
- 1:20Speaker 6: i'm gonna break some rules i'll get caught uh... i'm
- 1:23Speaker 6: going to take everything and then when i get back
- 1:26Speaker 6: to new york i'm gonna send my tape to all
- 1:27Speaker 6: the news channels Because I want attention. This guy could
- 1:32Speaker 6: be the clown of Barnum and Bailey Circus. He doesn't
- 1:35Speaker 6: even need makeup. He's a knucklehead, self-centered. He's got an
- 1:41Speaker 6: inferior complex.
- 1:43Speaker 1: He's running for office in the election. Obviously, in an
- 1:48Speaker 1: election campaign, you do photo ops, publicity stunts. You always
- 1:52Speaker 1: do that. But this guy is doing anti-Semitic crap. He's
- 1:56Speaker 1: trying to hurt Israel. He's a bigot. He's an anti-Semitic.
- 2:00Speaker 1: The problem is he's a goofy sort of a guy.
- 2:03Speaker 1: He's not an impressive guy. When he's in a debate,
- 2:06Speaker 1: he just looks like a goofy, annoying guy. So it's
- 2:09Speaker 1: tough for a guy like this to get elected, although
- 2:11Speaker 1: he seems to pull it off with these cheap tricks.
- 2:14Speaker 1: You know, one thing about Mondani, when he's in the
- 2:17Speaker 1: debate and you don't know who the hell he is,
- 2:18Speaker 1: he talks a mile a minute and he sounds very
- 2:20Speaker 1: smart because he can talk so fast and he sounds
- 2:22Speaker 1: like a very educated, very, Brad Lander looks like a goofy, goofy,
- 2:27Speaker 1: annoying guy. You just want to, You just want to, like,
- 2:30Speaker 1: throw a pie in his face when you look at him.
- 2:32Speaker 1: So he's got to do all kinds of crap to
- 2:35Speaker 1: run a campaign. Let's go, Mike in Portchester. Mike, how
- 2:39Speaker 1: you doing?
- 2:41Speaker 3: All right, Mark.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Listen, I called because.
- 2:43Speaker 5: What I have is that these people are tens of
- 2:48Speaker 5: thousands of people.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Really?
- 2:52Speaker 5: Right.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Call us back. Your phone is cutting out there. Let's
- 2:55Speaker 1: go to Bob in Montvale, New Jersey. Bob, how you doing?
- 2:59Speaker 7: I'm doing good, Mark. Thanks a lot. You know, I
- 3:02Speaker 7: wish the New York Post had an upstate edition because
- 3:05Speaker 7: there's three cases that are ongoing right now in Albany,
- 3:09Speaker 7: Saratoga Springs, up there. A 76-year-old veteran was murdered. A
- 3:15Speaker 7: 16-year-old girl was just raped in Troy, New York.
- 3:18Speaker 6: The girl in Saratoga Springs was, like, you know, slashed
- 3:21Speaker 6: the throat.
- 3:22Speaker 1: New York Post has upstate reporters, upstate bureaus to cover
- 3:27Speaker 1: all that stuff. And those are terrible, tragic stories. But
- 3:31Speaker 1: you can't put everything in the New York Post every day.
- 3:34Speaker 1: So those are Albany stories. Those are more local stories.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Let's go to John in Ronkonkoma. John, how are you doing?
- 3:43Speaker 5: Doing well, Mark. Thanks.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Hey, with all the unrest going on in France, there
- 3:47Speaker 2: is some good news. Take Poland, for instance. Have you
- 3:49Speaker 2: heard that the leader there is saying they're going to
- 3:52Speaker 2: arm guards at the border and they're not going to
- 3:56Speaker 2: let any Islamic jihadists in their country?
- 3:58Speaker 1: Yeah, but they'll still leave the borders open to everybody else.
- 4:01Speaker 1: You know, not everybody comes in with a sign or
- 4:05Speaker 1: a badge, Islamic jihadists. Once you let everybody in, once
- 4:08Speaker 1: you leave those borders open, this is what happens. Everybody
- 4:12Speaker 1: warned France it would happen. They didn't listen. We'll see.
- 4:15Speaker 1: They've got an election coming up. Macron is term-limited out,
- 4:19Speaker 1: so we'll see who they put in. Let's go to George,
- 4:23Speaker 1: Port Jefferson. George, how are you doing?
- 4:26Speaker 8: I'm doing fine, Mark. Just a comment about the shooting
- 4:29Speaker 8: on the bridge. It's horrible. I carried a firearm for years.
- 4:33Speaker 8: I just can't believe what's going on. And just a comment.
- 4:36Speaker 8: There are people like Second Amendment, Second Amendment, regular people
- 4:39Speaker 8: could carry firearms in New York City is what they want.
- 4:42Speaker 8: Could you imagine? The guy in Carnegie Deli serves you
- 4:45Speaker 8: a sandwich. You don't like it. You shoot him. It's
- 4:47Speaker 8: really outrageous.
- 4:49Speaker 1: It's not going to be any shooting in the Carnegie Deli.
- 4:53Speaker 8: I'm exaggerating, obviously, but... It's just outrageous.
- 4:58Speaker 1: Yeah. No, the Carnegie Deli, the crowd is like older Jewish.
- 5:02Speaker 1: They're not the type to carry guns around and shoot people.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I was in the Carnegie Deli yesterday.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Packed.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Absolutely packed. It's a great place. Greatest cheesecake in the world.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Let's go to Gerald in Brooklyn. Gerald, how are you doing? Fine.
- 5:19Speaker 5: And you have a great show, Mark.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Thanks.
- 5:21Speaker 5: You're absolutely right about the... Republican candidate for Attorney General.
- 5:27Speaker 5: She's absolutely brilliant. But why do you always make Senator
- 5:33Speaker 5: John Kennedy sound like a rube? He's one of the
- 5:36Speaker 5: most brilliant people.
- 5:37Speaker 2: In the U.S.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Senate. I never said that. He's not the most brilliant person.
- 5:40Speaker 1: He's got real talent for those funny little catchphrases.
- 5:45Speaker 5: Vanderbilt, Oxford, University of Virginia Law School. Did you ever
- 5:48Speaker 5: see him take apart Democratic nominees?
- 5:51Speaker 1: Yeah, he's great. He's a great talker. He's a great talker.
- 5:54Speaker 1: He's great with the funny punchlines and catchphrases. By the way,
- 5:58Speaker 1: that Southern accent, go back and look at a video
- 6:01Speaker 1: of him 20 years ago. He didn't seem to have
- 6:02Speaker 1: that Southern accent. He kind of puts that on a little.
- 6:05Speaker 1: But he's great with funny little slogans and sayings, and
- 6:09Speaker 1: he's great with jokes. That's what he's great with. And
- 6:11Speaker 1: don't get so... What about taking Democratic.
- 6:15Speaker 5: candidates for the court apart.
- 6:17Speaker 1: He doesn't take anybody apart. He's good with punchlines. He's
- 6:20Speaker 1: good with funny things you can want to quote. He's
- 6:22Speaker 1: never taken anybody apart, but he's very good, very articulate.
- 6:27Speaker 1: And again, nobody has funnier punchlines when it comes to him.
- 6:31Speaker 1: And don't be so carried away with those academic credentials. Ooh,
- 6:35Speaker 1: he went to Harvard. Ooh, he went to some of
- 6:37Speaker 1: the dumbest people I know went to Harvard. Some of
- 6:40Speaker 1: the most useless morons went to Harvard. Chuck Schumer went
- 6:43Speaker 1: to Harvard. Don't take it so seriously. Time for one more.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Jerry in New Jersey. Jerry, what do you want to say?
- 6:52Speaker 8: Hi, Mark.
- 6:53Speaker 4: We have an Egyptian-born doctor in New Jersey who was
- 7:01Speaker 4: close with the blind sheikh and also got $ 2 million
- 7:06Speaker 4: from a pro-Palestinian pact, and he's running for Congress, and
- 7:11Speaker 4: he gets no air coverage. And he just, he's going
- 7:15Speaker 4: to win.
- 7:17Speaker 1: We'll see. If you're listening to New Jersey, vote against him.
- 7:20Speaker 1: This is the thing. If you're a crazy left-wing kook
- 7:23Speaker 1: and you're hanging around with terrorists, Democrats will say, wow,
- 7:27Speaker 1: you should be a candidate. But you've got to stop
- 7:30Speaker 1: these people. We'll see what happens. It's 12 days away. Hey,
- 7:33Speaker 1: when we come back, the brilliant John Carney, when it
- 7:36Speaker 1: comes to the economy, business, the best writer in America
- 7:40Speaker 1: on the subject, We'll talk to him about AI. We'll
- 7:43Speaker 1: talk to him about the Fed, oil, inflation. We'll get
- 7:48Speaker 1: to all that coming up. This guy's the smartest guy.
- 7:50Speaker 1: We'll do it next on 710WOR.
