- 0:22Jeremiah 12 Righteous art thou, O Lord, when I plead with Thee,
- 0:29yet let me talk with Thee of thy judgments.
- 0:33Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper?
- 0:36Wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously.
- 0:44Thou hast planted them. Yeah, they have taken root.
- 0:48They grow it a bring forth fruit.
- 0:51Thou art near in their mouth, and far from their reigns.
- 0:56But thou, O Lord, knowest me. Thou hast seen me and tried my
- 1:01heart toward thee. Pull them out like sheep for the
- 1:05slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.
- 1:10How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field
- 1:15wither for the wickedness of them that dwell therein The
- 1:20beasts are consumed, and the birds, because they said, He
- 1:25shall not see our last end. If thou hast run with the
- 1:31footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou
- 1:35contend with horses? And if in the land of peace,
- 1:40wherein the trustus they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in
- 1:47the swelling of Jordan? For even thy brethren and the
- 1:51House of thy father, even they have dealt treacherously with
- 1:55thee. Yeah, they have called a
- 1:58multitude after thee. Believe them not, though they
- 2:02speak fair words unto thee. I have forsaken mine house, I
- 2:09have left mine heritage. I have given the dearly beloved
- 2:12of my soul into the hand of her enemies.
- 2:16Mine heritage is unto me as a lion in the forest.
- 2:21It crieth out against me. Therefore have I hated it.
- 2:26MyHeritage is unto me as a speckled bird.
- 2:30The birds round about are against her.
- 2:34Come ye assemble all the beasts of the field come to devour.
- 2:39Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard.
- 2:42They have trodden my portion under foot.
- 2:45They have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.
- 2:50They have made it desolate, and being desolate, it mourneth unto
- 2:55me. The whole land is made desolate
- 2:58because no man layeth it to heart.
- 3:01The spoilers are come upon all high places through the
- 3:06wilderness. For the sword of the Lord shall
- 3:10devour from the one end of the land, even to the other end of
- 3:16the land. No flesh shall have peace.
- 3:20They have sown wheat, but they shall reap thorns.
- 3:23They have put themselves to pain, but shall not profit.
- 3:28They shall be ashamed of your revenues because of the fierce
- 3:34anger of the Lord. Thus saith the Lord, against all
- 3:39mine evil neighbors that touch the inheritance which I have
- 3:44caused my people Israel to inherit.
- 3:47Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck them out
- 3:51of the House of Judah from among them, and it shall come to pass.
- 3:56After that I have plucked them out, I will return and have
- 4:01compassion on them, and will bring them again, every man to
- 4:05his heritage, and every man to his land.
- 4:09And it shall come to pass that they will diligently learn the
- 4:13ways of my people to swear by My name.
- 4:16The Lord liveth as they taught My people to swear by Thou.
- 4:22Then shall they be built in the midst of My people.
- 4:26But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and
- 4:30destroy that nation, sayeth the Lord.
