- 0:36[SPEAKER_10]: We got some news to talk about today.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_10]: The Browns made their first.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, it really was their first offseason acquisition.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_10]: Today, they traded for an offensive lineman.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_10]: So the O line rebuild overhaul is underway.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_10]: One down, four to go.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_10]: So we'll talk about that guy here in just a couple minutes.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_10]: If you guys want to, if you're listening to this after the fact, you want to be part of these dog-pack discord live episodes.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_10]: Get in here, hang out with everybody in the discord.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_10]: Join the dogs.com.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_10]: It's a great place to be.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_10]: Awesome conversations and when stuff like today happens, I mean, you instantly have a place to go where you can be chatting and hanging out with everybody talking about this breaking news that we got today.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_10]: So, you know, the NFL combine was the last, what, three, four days last week and everything like that.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_10]: They had all their interviews, they're on field drills.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_10]: and, of course, all the NFL teams are there together in Indianapolis, and that's where Andrew Barry does a lot of his work every year, seems like, you know, he's out there meeting with everybody, it's kind of where he laid the foundation for the big Travis Hunter trade back and everything last year with the Jaguars.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_10]: And less than 24 hours after the NFL combine wraps up, here we are Monday morning, and the Browns have made a trade.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_10]: They have sent their first pick in the fifth round, which was pick 139 to the Houston Texans in exchange for a right tackle tightest Howard.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_10]: He is 29 years old, he's about to turn 30 in May, 6 foot 5, 322 pounds, the Texans took him and the first round 23 overall in 2019, he's out of Alabama State.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_10]: And he's been a starting offensive lineman for the Texans since he was drafted.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_10]: So it's a seven year veteran starter.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_10]: He started pretty much all across the offensive line.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_10]: Most of his snaps have been it right tackle.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_10]: But he has played the second most snaps at left guard, actually.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_10]: And he's also played some left tackle and right guard in there as well.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_10]: Just no sensor play for him.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_10]: But the Browns get a versatile offensive lineman, primarily a tackle.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_10]: And it has begun, like I said, the offensive line overhaul is underway.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_10]: So Kenny, what are your thoughts here?
- 2:48[SPEAKER_10]: And then anybody who wants to get come up on stage and talk with us, just get your hands up down there in the audience and we'll bring you up.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_10]: But what are your thoughts, Kenny, on Titus Howard?
- 2:58[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I like it.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_09]: It was surprising for me at something that I didn't see coming along.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_09]: He's 93 game starter.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know if you mentioned that point, but with the injuries on our offensive line, they've been super tough to watch because the guys coming in and out.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_09]: Clearly, the guys are replacing our starters aren't good.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_09]: And this guy is a guy that starts all the time, and that's something that we really want.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, having a first round pick that you can get any time on your
- 3:25[SPEAKER_09]: him as fantastic.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_09]: So between the durability, the experience, the multiple positions you mentioned.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_09]: And I think you mentioned this earlier on one of your other content things for the podcast.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_09]: But the fact that he's at it right tackle, but he has that 1900 apps at left guard.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_09]: I was that kind of took me by surprise, too.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_09]: I didn't know he played more.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_09]: or that many snaps that that position.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_09]: And so I don't know, maybe he's gonna be a guard.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_09]: I think he'll probably be a tackle.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know if it's something bad kind of spelling the writing on the wall for Joel Batonio, but I like the fact that he's got a great passing rating, 77.1, PFF.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_09]: I was just a little concerned that he's kind of a below average run blocker
- 4:19[SPEAKER_09]: Switcher what switcher would want, but I guess it swites her now from what I've heard on Cleveland Brown's Daily, the way you pronounce our offensive coordinator.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_09]: So somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I think I heard the other day.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_09]: And so I thought we're going to be looking more for run blockers, but hey, at the end of the day it's an athletic guy.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_09]: He's a veteran.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_09]: He can stabilize one position for us.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_09]: Probably it's going to be right tackle.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_09]: So I'll love it.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I mean, everybody was posting like the PFF grades last year online.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_10]: And so I obviously hopped on board and put it together as well.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, tightest hour, like you said, a 77.1 passwalking grade, I think, among tackles with, what was it?
- 5:02[SPEAKER_10]: A thousand plus snaps last season, he's in like the top 10, I think.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_10]: Great.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_10]: Why so we were getting a very seven.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_09]: I thought it was 17 17.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_10]: Well, we're getting a proven pass blocker, which I mean, we desperately need if you look at like KT Leveston was at a 43.3 pass blocking grade.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_10]: And then you had cameras on the other side was a 56.2.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_10]: They were.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_10]: terrible.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_10]: Absolutely terrible.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_10]: He's very similar in the runblocking grade to Cam Robinson.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_10]: Then obviously Leveston was a decent runblocker for us last year, but I mean, it doesn't really matter when the quarterback can't do anything.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_10]: We saw what it's like when the pressures are just in the face of the QB and, you know, the offense struggles so much.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_10]: I was looking at Titus Howard 26 pressures last year.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_10]: That's it.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_10]: And the biggest thing for me, he didn't give up a sack.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_10]: All season.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_10]: He played in every game as far as I can tell or almost every game.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, a 900 or I'm sorry.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_10]: 696 pass blocking snaps.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_10]: He had a 1,162 total snaps.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_10]: No sacks.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_10]: Like to me, that's impressive.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_09]: The thing that I'm kind of a headscratcher for me is, I mean, I don't watch the used in Texans, but this sounds like one of their better offensive linemen, if it's not their best offensive linemen.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_09]: It correct me if I'm wrong, but you don't have offensive liners use.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_09]: They didn't want to pay their guy.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_09]: Are they in cap hell or something?
- 6:33[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know, because somebody tells me if they are, because it seems like they're losing out on a decent guy, unless they really, really want to run block, or I don't know.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I mean, as far as I can tell, and again, I don't follow the Texans, and I don't know their caps situation.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_10]: I know that they are, they stand to gain some cap space by this trade.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_10]: I think it's only like 4 million or something, but he's on the last year of his deal there.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_10]: So to meet this one really reminded me of what the Browns did with your, um, um,
- 6:59[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, Jerry Jones and Amari Cooper.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_10]: Right.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_10]: So we went to a team that had a good asset.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, Amari Cooper was still a good wide receiver when we traded for him.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_10]: He was getting a little older last year of his deal.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_10]: There was cap, you know, on the books for the cowboys that they wanted gone.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_10]: We, we took him and then we, you know, given that extension when we traded for him and everything.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_10]: Just kind of the same thing we did here because we, I didn't mention that we did extend.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_10]: Um, Howard as soon as we trade a form.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_10]: So we gave him a three year extension worth 63 million dollars.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_10]: Haven't seen the guaranteed portion of that yet or anything, but that's kind of the overall scope of the contract.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_10]: So they traded for him locked him into place.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_10]: It would only cost us a fifth round pick.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, to get started on the offensive line overhaul, not a big cost to begin.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I mean, we know what Barry likes to do with fifths.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_09]: You mean, we mentioned Judy, there's sedarius.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_09]: He seems to like to move those four prime football guys, man.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_09]: Like guys that are vets.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, and he likes the expiring contract.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_10]: So those are the types of things that we've done for Agent Previews and stuff.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_10]: That's kind of what we look for.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_10]: Who's on the expiring contract?
- 8:12[SPEAKER_10]: What team is set to gain some cap space if they trade this guy?
- 8:16[SPEAKER_10]: They're obviously maybe they're not going to extend him.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_10]: And that's the situation we ran into today with Titus Howard.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_10]: You know, with it with his alignment versatility where he can play different, you know, spots on the line.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_10]: I think that just gives us a little more flexibility to going in, you know, we got free agency starts a week from today, guys is the legal tampering period opens up.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_10]: So we're coming into a quick here.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_10]: We're going to start getting some hot and heavy news, you know, this team's after this guy, the Browns are signing this guy, you know, it's the Browns and these teams after hit, like it's going to, it's coming and I'm excited for it and I hope we come away with the, the guys we need.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_10]: to get this offensive line back in shape, because it is not right now.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, and we were talking about this in the discord today.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_09]: And my only surprise was a three years at 63, because I didn't want to send the guy from Green Bay for that kind of money, but clearly this guy's a lot better rated number one.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_09]: Number two, I guess my whole thing is, I was shocked with the dollar amount, but I just, I guess I just want to know, because I guess I'm just kind of insecure on the fact
- 9:21[SPEAKER_09]: Where are we with our cap space?
- 9:24[SPEAKER_09]: I just want to see these restructures come.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_09]: So I can feel a little bit more comfortable and know who I can sign with these guys.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_09]: Because clearly there's going to be a couple cuts too at some point.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_09]: There's going to be some veterans.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_09]: We don't have much the cut though because we've got a lot of guys to replace.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_09]: So I want to know where this money is coming.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, well, I mean, the money's going to come from the avoided contracts coming up for like Jack Concle and David and Joe Koo, those guys, and the post-June first cut designations and all that.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_10]: And then the restructured to Sean, the restructured Denzel Ward.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_10]: So the cap space will be fine.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_10]: For me, when you're talking about this, compared to what we would have had to do with Rashid Walker from the Packers, the free agent there, the left tackle, who I've been skeptical about.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_10]: in terms of what his market value is going to dictate that a team would have to pay him.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_10]: I just don't know if it's worth it for the Browns and for him it's more like he's being projected that a four year deal and I guarantee there'd be more guaranteed money in his contract than what we I again I've seen the numbers I don't think they've come out yet.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_10]: But the way Andrew Barry does these contracts, this thing is going to be so backloaded that you know, by the time I'm trying to think I want to word this, I don't know if he'll be here all three years at this contract.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_10]: I guess this is what I'm saying.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_10]: He'll probably be a guy that we can move on from after a year or two if we need to and it won't be that big a deal.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_10]: That's where it differs to me.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_10]: I know the 63's kind of like instantly like, oh, geez, we really paid this guy, but I don't think we really did.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_10]: I, again, it comes down to the guarantees, we'll see what that ends up coming out to.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, that's a great point and it's what they can fit in this year versus what they put next year and there's all those ways that they handle contracts these days.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_09]: So we did it with Dishon and we paid a million for the first year and then he got the rest of his 229 million for doing nothing but that go.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I mean, I saw a post from Jack Duffin.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_10]: He said he posted what the salary cap growth as projected to be.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_10]: I think was over the next five years and it's I forget the exact
- 11:29[SPEAKER_10]: numbers, but it was something close to like $100 million increase over the next five years.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_10]: Like that's insane.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_10]: So whenever Andrew Barry does these contracts, it is a smart way to do it.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_10]: Like, all right, I'll pay you with the money from five years from now.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_10]: That's how I'll structure this contract, because
- 11:45[SPEAKER_10]: We're going to have, you know, five times more money in five years or whatever it is, you know, so it makes sense to do it the way they do it.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_10]: That's how they're able to still sign guys, extend guys.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_10]: We talked about this.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, despite the, the big bust of the Deshawn Watson trade and his contract, it still hasn't prevented the Browns from signing or extending, trading and extending anybody that we've wanted to.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_10]: So that's, that just shows you that the way they're structuring these contracts.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_10]: Again, it makes sense, and it works with the way the cat moves.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, and that's a great point because, I mean, I think they're always going to have like six to eight guys that they're always going to kick the can down the road.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_09]: I think the stressful part for most of us is the one-year contracts, right?
- 12:30[SPEAKER_09]: I think the offset of the restructuring is that you find guys on one-year deals, and there's not a lot of mid-stuff, right?
- 12:39[SPEAKER_09]: And the mid-stuff is your rookie contracts.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_09]: And that's kind of how they do it.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_09]: And just the one-year starting stuff, I'm just like, oh, who do we have on the team?
- 12:47[SPEAKER_09]: And especially we've been talking this year, those 32 expiring contracts, you know, you think in your head like, are we gonna be able to fill the team this year?
- 12:55[SPEAKER_09]: And of course, we are, you know, but you want the best people on the team and you know, you're gonna wonder where that money's coming from.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_09]: But I know it'll come, but sometimes the incident reaction is like, oh, God.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_09]: This is too much money.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_10]: What are we going to do?
- 13:09[SPEAKER_10]: The reason we're in the position we're in to where we got these 32 expiring contracts and nobody to fill those spots, right?
- 13:14[SPEAKER_10]: We don't have any depth.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_10]: We don't have anybody in the wings waiting to take over a starting spot or anybody who's developed because our drafting has been piss poor.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_10]: If you really look at it, and it's it's rounds like three through five where you need to find
- 13:31[SPEAKER_10]: And I'm not saying you got to find pro-bullers, but you need to find guys who can start or guys who can play significant time or be a contributor to your team.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_10]: And we just don't have that.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_10]: We don't find those guys in the third, fourth, fifth rounds.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_10]: And so, you know, last year we kind of did, you know, with like Harold Fan in the third round, but even that, like then we use the next one on Dylan Gabriel.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_10]: So it was a wasted pick.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_10]: it just it drives me nuts and then I see all these people now talking well I think the Browns are definitely going tackle or offensive line at least at six and they're going to buy pass wide receiver maybe they'll trade for wider receiver this is where we get screwed because we need a top level wider receiver on a rookie contract with up to five years of control and that where the money is not outrageous you know we're not on the hook for all this cap allocation for the next five years with a rookie
- 14:22[SPEAKER_10]: And he can be a legitimate wide receiver one for your team.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_10]: We've never had that.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_10]: When have we ever had that kind of player?
- 14:30[SPEAKER_09]: We've never had it and it drives me nuts.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_09]: I've been watching the Brown since 85.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_09]: And the only guys that we've ever drafted is Braylon Edwards and Corey Coleman.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_09]: That's the only ones I can remember.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_09]: We literally got lucky when we got Flash Gordon through the supplemental draft.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_09]: because he would have been a number one pick, had he not been a mess, I guess.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_09]: And, but yeah, we just don't do it.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_09]: Like, I can even remember watching the Bella check years.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_09]: Like, the guy freaking drafted Tony Vardela, full back, you know, Eric Turner was awesome.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_09]: Then they drafted, you know, Steve Everett, a center.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_09]: You know, then we get one of his disciples, me and Jeannie, like 20 years later, and was his first draft pick, a center.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_09]: And I'm like, damn, why would we keep picking these guys?
- 15:18[SPEAKER_09]: Like I know it's I know sometimes you need those first round offensive linemen, but like between the Bart heaviest mingo's and like you could have just got some receivers at some point you know like come on Pick one do it for everybody pick tape Paint or nothing it's it's crazy hang on go ahead talk for a second about the cough.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_10]: I this this cold guys will not go away.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah
- 15:43[SPEAKER_09]: No, probably actually you know what one thing we were talking about free agents Josh and I last week And I'd like to say that ESPN agrees with me with Rashid Shahid that the Brown should sign him and now they brought the brought up a good point that I did not bring up
- 15:58[SPEAKER_09]: other than his return value is fantastic, as well as being a receiver, but no receiver eclipse his 687 receiving yards last year, which is kind of a shame, but he would have been our number one receiver with the amount of yards he got last year.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_09]: So I would love to bring that up.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, there's people in comments on social media and stuff I'll talk to and they're like, wow, we should go sign Rashid, she don't like, yeah, we should.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_10]: I would love it.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_10]: Why would he come here?
- 16:27[SPEAKER_10]: That's the thing.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_10]: Like, you do have to look at it from the perspective of these other guys.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_10]: And he's a guy.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_10]: He doesn't have a ton of contract opportunities left in his career.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_10]: Well, how old is he?
- 16:36[SPEAKER_10]: 27, 28.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_10]: 26 maybe.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_10]: So I mean, if he gets a three year deal, I mean, you're looking might be about it for as far as a big time contract for a guy of his status in the league.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_10]: So yeah, you're not going to swing, you know, your odds on a team that doesn't have a quarterback doesn't have an offensive line.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_10]: All that kind of stuff is he's going to go somewhere else.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_10]: This episode is partnered with Kaoshi.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_10]: Browns fans are you ready to put your money where your predictions are, with Kaoshi, America's number one regulated prediction market you can legally trade on events that actually matter to you.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_10]: And the best part is you don't need to predict specific stat lines and compile a seven-like parlay just to win big.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_10]: With Kaoshi the objective is either yes or no.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_10]: Will Shidorah Sanders be the Browns week one starting quarterback?
- 17:27[SPEAKER_10]: Will Fernando Mendoza be the first overall pick in the draft?
- 17:30[SPEAKER_10]: Will the Browns make their pick at six or will they trade out of that spot?
- 17:34[SPEAKER_10]: And in other sports, will the calves win the NBA Finals?
- 17:36[SPEAKER_10]: You can put your money on these predictions and more with CalShe if you want to try it out.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_10]: CalShe is giving $10 to anyone who signs up at calshe.com slash dogs and trades $100.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_10]: Get away from disadvantageous sports books and dive into real world outcomes with real time odds and real payouts.

- 18:11[SPEAKER_10]: So I see a lot of quarterback conversation going on over here.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_10]: So does anybody, oh, I see, okay, we do have a hand up.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_10]: So Hobo dirt.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_10]: We'll get you up here to talk and then let's go from there.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, what is up guys?
- 18:29[SPEAKER_02]: It is.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, someone is bringing the picture.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_10]: Leo, man, nice to meet you.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_10]: It's great to have a face with the native voice.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_10]: Cool.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_02]: That's me, you guys.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_02]: But talking of quarterbacks, I came here.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_02]: I want to talk about quarterbacks, particularly Thai Simpson and all the buzz that he's been getting about potentially being a top 12 picks on guys are saying.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_02]: So.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_02]: I was wondering what you guys would think I would take him early in the drafts.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_02]: Can be personally, I'm completely against this.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_09]: Well, okay, first of all, why are you against new and I are talking the same stuff by man.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_09]: I am totally out.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_09]: I do not want to put any more resources in the quarterback position last year.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_09]: We put, we put resources into Kenny Pickett, then traded it and got it back.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_09]: Then we got Dylan Gabriel, then we got, um,
- 19:25[SPEAKER_09]: Then we got Chador and we put two resources into him plus all the stuff that we have with DW on the team.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_09]: So I really don't want to invest any more money.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_09]: I need to put something around a quarterback and know what they can actually do.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_09]: So that would be receiving offensive line because I don't need any more running backs.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_09]: I'm good there.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_09]: Maybe a tight end.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_09]: But like throw some stuff around the quarterback so it can actually develop one.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_02]: As of right now, even with just a dirt and a shon, we already have one of the messiest quarterback situations in the whole NFL because we really don't know which of those guys is going to start.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_02]: but then by adding another first round pick quarterback to the mix, it just makes it so much worse because then you got three guys who you have no idea who's going to be your starter and then just you just know the media is going to be like as soon as the Sean Orchidard is going to run like Obo as time for Simpson and like I just don't want to have to deal with that for a whole year, especially if Simpson ends up not being that great.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_10]: if you take a tie Simpson any quarterback I mean he'd be the only one at six that that's your guy I mean he might not start the season
- 20:45[SPEAKER_10]: but that really slams the door on Shador and you'd probably start with Deshawn as the veteran and then once things go south or the teams just not win in very many games or they're just ready to move to the rookie, your sixth overall pick is going to be your guy and he's gonna be your guy for at least two or three years to give him a chance at least most teams do.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_10]: So yeah, and I'm so hesitant with these guys that were one of your starters in college anymore.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_10]: It worries me concerns me and there was a point this season where I was watching Alabama games.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_10]: I was watching Tyson.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_10]: So I was like, damn, this guy looks pretty good.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_10]: Like I could see him being a first round pick and maybe we'll see how the rest season goes.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_10]: Maybe the Browns could end up with him or whatever.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_10]: And then obviously he got hurt and things just kind of started to fall apart there for the Crimson Tide and he didn't do so well those last few games.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_10]: But.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_10]: He was on a heater for a little while there, which is interesting.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_10]: I see Trent in the chat, said something about the smoke screen, maybe seeing if somebody's going to trade up, I could totally see that too.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_09]: I was thinking that too, yeah, 100%.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_02]: And Josh, I heard earlier, you asked why I'm brownish then, I think, because you're that joined.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_02]: And the reason is because I started watching football in like 2017-ish and I didn't have a favorite team but I had a favorite player and it was Odo Beckham Jr.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_02]: So like one once he got to the Browns last time and like okay I guess I'll have to share with this team like we all know how that went but I just decided to stick with him since so yeah
- 22:22[SPEAKER_10]: Well, good for you for sticking with the brown.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_09]: I know you got this, got this stick, this my man.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and then my dad's a bangles fan to like, there's not, there's not a lot of happiness going around here.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_02]: And we're from like, I don't know why we chose the Ohio team.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_02]: It's like we're living Calgary, Canada.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_02]: So I just don't know, I guess it's weird that we chose those teams, but we stuck with them.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_02]: He's been a bangles fan since like 85.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_02]: So.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I grew up, I'm in Ottawa, Canada, and but I grew up across the lake from Cleveland, so we went there when I was young.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_09]: And I got all their stations, all their media growing up, like all the radio stations, you just become a Browns fan, and listening to them.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_09]: I remember the biggest thing I remember at the Browns growing up across the lake is when the Browns won, which was a lot when I was young because between 85 and 90, they won a ton of games.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_09]: There was songs, there was T-shirts, there was everything, and there was the dog pound man, and it,
- 23:19[SPEAKER_09]: it was like so awesome to be part of that that time and the Bernie Cows are years were me I wish I got to see winning bro as a branch fan if I hope hopefully it'll come soon you know
- 23:33[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, we did get a taste for, you know, we had a taste for what it could be like in 2020 and then that stretch in 2023 when Joe Flacco came in here was a lot of fun.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_10]: One thing, I guess we talked about it here real quick, one thing I wanted to bring up, I've said this before too, but when we were talking about the the trade for Titus Howard.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_10]: Number one, trading with the Houston Texans always scares the hell out of me because it hasn't worked out yet to show him Watson didn't work out, Cameron Robinson didn't work out.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_10]: But then I go back to what I've said before where I'm so curious to see this, this season's super interesting to me because I want to see what the Browns look like with Todd Munkin and a whole new offensive staff I want to see what the Falcons look like with Kevin's defense can essentially the Browns coaching staff down there and it's
- 24:21[SPEAKER_10]: I wonder how much of the crappy play we saw from our offensive line from everybody, the last couple of seasons was Kevin Stefansky.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_10]: I really do because those were the two years that we didn't have Alex VanPell and those were the two years, everybody sucked.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I think that Stefansky isn't going to do great.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't matter if I'm being clearly honest.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I just, you had no pumpkin head, obviously.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, I'm run pumpkin heads Instagram.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_02]: He said something about just like the whole time like he just never believed that fancy it was a true leader of men and then he's like he can inspire a room like one thing goes south.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_02]: He's like he loses the room instantly is pretty much over for them.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_02]: And like I kind of agree with that.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_02]: And when you go to a team like Atlanta that is definitely far from being like a elite team like they have their weapons there with like beach on London pits, but like they're still a lot of pieces that need to be added there.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_02]: So like you bring some fancy into that like mid team like I just I'm not sure that he's going to be able to like really turn things around the way they expect him to.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_10]: Well, Colton and the chasse says his head coaching grade doesn't lie.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, that's C minus grade that he got on the NFL P A report card.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_10]: Lowest head coach, lowest graded head coach in the entire league.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_10]: So the player's kind of spoke there a little bit about telling.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, it is telling.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_10]: You're right.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_09]: I also got a little bit more about the, uh, about the used in trade there.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_09]: So we actually, they traded us Brock Osweiler 2017, and a 2018 six round pick, uh, and we, in that we got obviously Brock Osweiler, we cut them so we could swallow that cap for them.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_09]: But we also got to Sean Kaiser as well.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_09]: So that was like two kicks in the night.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_09]: It's right.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I like the Howard trade.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_02]: Like the weird thing about it to me is that like
- 26:24[SPEAKER_02]: we only had to give up a fifth round pick, which is like why were they so eager to get rid of him?
- 26:29[SPEAKER_02]: If he's like, if he's this good past locker and like you said earlier in the show, like the Houston offensive line, it kind of sucks, they need offensive linemen.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_02]: So the fact that we're willing to ship this guy off, just for a fifth round pick is kind of interesting, but I do have faith in him.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_02]: Like his plug-and-play ability is really there.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_02]: can see how much they've paid him.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_02]: He's probably going to play one of our tackle spots.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_02]: Probably right tackle.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_02]: But like the versatility is huge when you have a guy like him.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm excited about it.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, he'll definitely start.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_10]: He'll be one of our starters.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_10]: And that's good.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_10]: We need five new ones.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_10]: So now we got one.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_10]: So that's good.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I saw Jake Burns on Twitter from Brown's film breakdown as soon as the trade happened.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_10]: He posted and he said, stop trading with Houston.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_10]: And Kenny, I'm glad you brought it up.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_10]: Brock, awesome.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_10]: I like messed man.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_10]: I forgot about that.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_09]: I was actually at the preseason game, saw him play and to Sean.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_09]: On Kaiser, we actually beat the Saints, the preseason, both of them.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, we sad.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_10]: Preseason, James, maybe.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_02]: Every year for some reason.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_10]: All right.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_10]: Well, Liam, thanks for coming up here.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_10]: Got a couple other people.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_10]: They're hands up.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_10]: So we're going to get jester up next.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_10]: But, you know, stick around, maybe later.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_10]: If you want to come back up, we'll get you back up here.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_10]: Nice meeting you, man.
- 27:47[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_02]: That's good.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_10]: All right.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_10]: So that was Liam.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_10]: Let's see where's jester.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_10]: He was next.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_10]: We're going to bring him up.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_10]: See what's going on here.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_10]: Can you hear us?
- 28:03[SPEAKER_09]: Hey, I can hear you.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_10]: Awesome.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_10]: How's it going?
- 28:05[SPEAKER_09]: Hey, my man.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_09]: How are you doing?
- 28:08[SPEAKER_09]: I'm doing good.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, more people use their cameras.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_06]: I love it.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_06]: I love it.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_06]: I was just wondering, you know, okay, I'm completely down with the seed thing.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_06]: I think that's an amazing idea.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_06]: Is there any chance you think we'd go with the younger version and go with love at six after he worked out as wide receiver and running back?
- 28:34[SPEAKER_09]: And I don't think so, like here's the thing, there's three guys that are blue chippers, I think love would be one of them.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_09]: It would be hate, not sorry, not hate.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_09]: uh... what he call it uh... our valories and then uh... downs but those guys aren't positions that people want to trade or want to want to draft that high especially when we got a guy like junkins for example what i love to have them on the team based on what he's done and what he's just presented in the combine man like a be fantastic and there's always a possibility that junkins might not come back from the industry but that seems like
- 29:16[SPEAKER_09]: it's in a good spot right now.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_09]: So what those guys need to do is we need a weapon and we need weapons on on our perimeter specifically receiver and take one high because like we were saying earlier we only have had braille in and we had Corey Coleman and that's it.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_09]: Let's throw a couple more in there.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_09]: My draft picks get some guys that can get separation.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_09]: can win 50-50 balls and who cares if he runs if he didn't run a 4-4 you know it's like a point point of a second off and we had Jarvis who was a baller he ran a 4-6 you know puking the cooler 4-5-4 I believe and our 4-5-6 or something like that it doesn't matter it's
- 30:05[SPEAKER_09]: It's how you get separation, how your coaches scheme you open, and those 50, 50 balls, because even Puka, man, he's the 6-1, is he not 200, some pounds, or 196, something similar.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_09]: the time.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_06]: I was wondering if he could play receiver because, you know, he's six but two fourteen, they said, so he's bigger than Mackay, a little bit smaller than six, but he'd probably be like, he'd have, he'd have flies like unreal, he'd be like juju, shoester, smeth, right?
- 30:38[SPEAKER_09]: Like there's, there's not, you can't say that he can't do it, but based on his, um,
- 30:44[SPEAKER_09]: ability to play running back that would be way more tantalizing for a team like the chiefs or somebody that really needs a running back and they can split him out wide.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_09]: But for what the Browns need, there's need receivers, man.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_09]: And I just don't think you're going to put him at receiver.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, true rise.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_06]: Well, thank you.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_10]: Good.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_06]: Right on
- 31:13[SPEAKER_10]: You too.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_10]: All right, so that's awesome.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_10]: We got a couple of first time people back to back here using their cameras.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_10]: Adam is up next.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_10]: Adam from El Paso.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, guys.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_10]: Oh.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_10]: What's up, buddy?
- 31:30[SPEAKER_10]: Hey, what's up, big dog?
- 31:32[SPEAKER_09]: Cooper.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, guys, Cooper, bowing back.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_03]: Lorenzo Styles from Ohio State.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_03]: Rene, four, two, seven, 40.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_03]: Should we draft him?
- 31:43[SPEAKER_03]: which pick should use.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_10]: All right.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_10]: Um, so Lorenzo's now.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_09]: You're talking about the berries.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_09]: But I just say, I don't think Barry's gonna pick him high.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_09]: So if he falls at 24 maybe, but I don't see him picking him in the first round, I can see why you like him, though, man.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_09]: I thought he did amazing at the combine, and I agree with you that he's an awesome player.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_09]: But with what we need, I'm gonna go back to what I said to the last guy, we need to receive everybody and we're gonna get Cardinal Tade unfortunately.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_09]: There he is.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_07]: Hey, hey, boys, how are you doing?
- 32:23[SPEAKER_10]: That was a good one, guys.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, good.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_07]: Good, good.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_07]: Hey, so since Cooper's got his question out of the way, I got to ask because I've been listening to, you know, the previous episodes, if the scenario came up where you have the number six pick in the draft and you could take that pick and draft Carnal Tate,
- 32:46[SPEAKER_07]: or you could trade that pick to Arizona and get Marvin Harrison Jr., which one are you taking?
- 32:55[SPEAKER_09]: I think I take Marvin Harrison.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_09]: If he came out in the draft right now, he'd be the number one prospect based on on what he did in the draft two years ago.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_09]: That's I think it'd be an old
- 33:09[SPEAKER_10]: Hmm, that is a very good question because I'm sitting here going, yeah, I like Marvin Harrison a lot.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_10]: He's I think I do think he's got top of the ceiling upside in the NFL.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_10]: I feel like you could get him for a better pick than six, though, just because of the two years of disappointing performances in Arizona and everything.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_10]: And then there's the unknown with Cardinal Tate.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_10]: You get the three extra years or two extra years of the rookie contract, that is a tough one.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know if I'm going to answer.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_09]: It is tough.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I would take Marvin Harrison Jr., just based on his size, speed, his abilities to catch the ball.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_09]: I just feel like he's a better receiver.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_10]: His pedigree.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_09]: Then, Cardinal Tate.
- 34:01[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I thank you, and I'm with you too, Kenny.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_10]: I agree 100% if he was in this draft, he'd definitely be the top prospect of wider receiver and he would probably go top six picks.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_10]: So, yeah, Marvin, the thing is everyone's down on him just because I said this on the podcast the other day, like he didn't break out in his first two years.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_10]: That doesn't, I mean, these guys with this athletic profile and his ability, it's gonna happen.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_10]: It's gonna happen this year or it'll happen next year.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_10]: Like I said, Devante Adams is a fourth year breakout.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_10]: a lot of these guys are through a third year breakouts.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_10]: It's not as common to get those first year all of this guy's an elite superstar wide receiver just in Jefferson, Jamar Chase.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_10]: Those those don't happen all the time.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_10]: It's more often than not the second, third, fourth year guys that really break out.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I totally agree with you guys.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_09]: Justin Jefferson had Kirk Cousins and he was great and then now while he still puts up good numbers I mean it'd be better if he had a consistent quarterback right and that's a problem with Marvin Harrison Jr. Now to convince him to come over here when we have our own quarterback issues that might be a tough thing because I don't know how much control he has or what say he would have if he were to get traded.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_09]: I also think the Arizona Cardinals probably don't want to let him go based on
- 35:19[SPEAKER_09]: the value that he's at still on this rookie contract, but who knows?
- 35:23[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, maybe they just want to do a clean slate too.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_09]: So, we'll see.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_07]: Yep.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_07]: Boys, yeah, I appreciate a man and I always enjoy the show and as promised in the discord, I have to end it with Fuck Vinci.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_10]: Stick in true to it.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_10]: I love it, man.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_10]: All right, well it's good.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_10]: Here and from you guys, good seeing you guys.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_10]: And now let's get Colton up here, Colton.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_09]: Good job, guys.
- 35:52[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I know that I love hearing from all you guys.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_10]: This is, I love doing these shows.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_10]: These discord live shows are the best.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_10]: Let's see, Colton.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_10]: OK, there we go.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_10]: Got him up here now.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_08]: All right.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, it's a trend in the night.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_08]: Everybody's doing video.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_08]: I love it.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_09]: This is great.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_09]: We're going to force for it.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, that's right.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_08]: We're going to force for it.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_08]: football background going in this hotel.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_08]: So we're good to go.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_10]: So what's going on, man?
- 36:21[SPEAKER_08]: Hey, all right.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_08]: So my my my question.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_08]: So I think Josh was officially sold me on a more our over a Cooper junior.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_08]: Really really liking him.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_08]: If he's at 24.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_08]: I think he he's receiving.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_08]: I'll take him the first round.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_08]: So that leads me probably what you're thinking.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_08]: So it's thick.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_08]: What do we do?
- 36:40[SPEAKER_08]: do we take what would be the best offensive tackle available or do we take the best defensive player available at six?
- 36:49[SPEAKER_08]: The whole that I'm thinking we could really fill at six if he's there would be killed down.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_08]: Would you be able to stick down to six over an offensive tackle to plug in and play them in a way?
- 37:06[SPEAKER_09]: It depends for me what we do in free agency number one.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_09]: I think we should get some kind of veteran that can play both positions if one of the safety's were to go down.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, man, like, I look at that pick every time and when I do a mock draft and when I see him sitting there, even if Tates there, I'm like, ah, that guy's so good.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_09]: He's so good and he would be so good on our defense.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_09]: And, um,
- 37:37[SPEAKER_09]: I just, I'm really stuck on the offense right now.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_09]: It was so awful watching the offense the last two years.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_09]: I got to snap myself out of that and stop being like wanting that be that guy that wants the defense to be even better.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_09]: You got to, if the Browns could just be mediocre this year.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_09]: with the defense that we still do have.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_09]: Like I think we can be in contention for the division, just based on the fact that everybody else seems to be in a rebuild, except for the Bengals, of course.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_09]: But then you never know where their defense is because while they can score 40, they might let 48 like who knows, right?
- 38:17[SPEAKER_09]: So that's why I think we might have a chance to be in contention, and we seem to have a coach.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know yet, but I mean he talks a good game and he can scheme guys open.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_09]: So I got to stick with my guns, stick the offensive linemen, and get some guys that can move some people and protect the quarterback.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_09]: So we were saying earlier, so it can actually evaluate a quarterback and find out if they're good.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, you know.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_10]: no kidding.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, for me, I don't know.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_10]: I'm still, I still want Cardinal Tate at six, but if, and, and I'm, I'm expecting the Browns to go more of the offensive line route.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_10]: So I'm kind of torn looking at that direction between Francis Maui Noah and Monroe Freeling, because we talked about him earlier in the show.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_10]: I think he's going to go so much higher now.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_10]: and he's been rising up draft boards and now the combine performance like the the dudes a freak athlete and he for me I I like him a little bit better because he's just he's a left tackle he played left tackle in the SEC at Georgia and he played very well in 2025 so I know there's some talk about Maui Noah potentially moving into guard if his you know the arm length and the size and everything maybe he could be guard at it he's such a good
- 39:36[SPEAKER_10]: And I'm okay doing that as long as you're getting a guy like Omar Cooper Jr at 24 because for me He's moved up my rankings.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_10]: I have him over like Casey conception I think that Omar Cooper's going to be a freaking dog in the end if I might even have him over Denzel Boston I'm not sure yet, but I Really like this kid
- 39:59[SPEAKER_09]: see how he's rising and he's risen past him as far as Monroe Freeling.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know if you saw the latest PFF.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_09]: We were just discussing before we started this.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_09]: They have the Browns taking him at six.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_09]: Just looks so explosive in his on-field drills like who cares about the 4.934R-dash and the six, the nine foot seven foot broad jump.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_09]: Let's just say he's athletic man and that athletic potential
- 40:29[SPEAKER_09]: Offensive tackle is exactly from what I've heard in the pressers that Munkton's looking for.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_09]: Regardless of the fact that he went to Georgia and probably recruited him, the guy seems like he's at freak because what was his race?
- 40:42[SPEAKER_09]: His race was 9.9, wasn't it?
- 40:44[SPEAKER_09]: And that's big when you're talented and you you played in the SEC against the dogs, you know?
- 40:53[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I think he was the number two, absolutely.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_10]: Number two left, excuse me.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_10]: Number two left tack will rise since 1987 or something like that.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_10]: It was insane, and the thing is like I'm not, I know like the athletic testing at the combine, everything people can get carried away with that, but for me, when it backs up what you did on the field in college, that's when it's like, okay, now I'm like really sold on this guy because not only did he perform very well in college,
- 41:22[SPEAKER_10]: He's got the measureables in the athletic testing now to go with it and that's what makes like a really high end prospect in my opinion and I think I think freely is going to probably go top I don't know if I times all said on top 15 at the at the least.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, he could be.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_09]: And just just to your guys points on Omar Cooper Jr.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, we've we're seeing him what originally at the end of the second round.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_09]: PFF has him now going to the Los Angeles Rams at 29 just to replace Defonte Adams.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_09]: So, man, if we can get him at 24, I like what I'm seeing 4.2 and the 40, 37 yard at 37 inch vertical is what I meant to say.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_09]: And he just checks off all the
- 42:06[SPEAKER_09]: all the athletics.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_09]: He's got a higher ceiling than they thought originally, so I mean if the Rams are looking at him for successors and plans for Devonti Adams, I think we should have a succession plan since we didn't have Adam just to get a Devonti Adams in order to mean.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, yeah, there's another guy at receiver, I'm thinking of a late and it's a bracelet, so his Raskore is a 9.98 and he also scored first in the athletic scoring of the NFL draft.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_08]: So he's one that's projected a fifth round pick right now.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_08]: We still have two of those left, so I would be more than happy he's been a fifth round pick on this guy.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_08]: He's
- 42:50[SPEAKER_08]: six three, just biggest can be six three 32 and eighth inch arms 204.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, just big is can be now.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_08]: The argument to be said, no, not to go to state.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_08]: So he's trading.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, yes.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_08]: Yes, his brother.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_10]: Tray Lance is a little brother.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I'm not saying.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_10]: He looks like Tray Lance.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_10]: Holy crap.
- 43:14[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, so they're always going to say, you know, he played against FCS competition.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_08]: So this could be padded stats or play stats, whatever it might be.
- 43:22[SPEAKER_08]: But I mean, the guys are freaking nature.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, so if you're able to get him into play, let's say an extra role.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_08]: I would be really excited to see what monkey can do with him.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_08]: It just look enough, you know, what Richard Bacon did in that offense.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_08]: I'd see him maybe filling that kind of role.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_08]: Um, so I would much rather see Bryce Lance in a Browns uniform than center to them because I know one's gonna be on the field.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, there's not gonna be.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_10]: That's very true, man.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, so like there's a couple guys and it's funny because they're both from smaller schools.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_10]: So it almost takes them off Andrew Barry's draft work because he just does not draft a lot of small school guys over the last six years, but uh, Bryce Lance, I am coming in and liking him a lot more
- 44:08[SPEAKER_10]: So we'll see if Andrew Barry's willing to swing on one of those guys maybe in the mid-round range, but I like both of those receivers quite a bit.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_10]: I like them as my second receiver.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_10]: I'm taking in this draft.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_10]: I got to get a dog in the refround.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_08]: I know you're like Skylar Bell too.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_10]: I think you think you can bring them to school.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_10]: Yes, I do like Skylar Bell a lot.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, you can't.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, another smaller school for football and everything, but man, his numbers like in his deeper metrics and everything when I broke all that down, I was looking at him like this kid can freaking play football.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_10]: My goodness.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, he had a really good, really good combine there.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, some of those.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_08]: Yes, I'm about that.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_08]: Testing.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_10]: Back to it.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_08]: 100%.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I'm happy.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_08]: You know, either three of those guys.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_08]: Let's just get some depth.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_08]: That's what we're seeing.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_08]: We can do from there.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_08]: the healthy competition in that room is not going to hurt us after what we've seen over the past two years.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_10]: No kidding man.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_10]: I'm telling you guys if we're if we go into this thing and I I saw the post the other day after getting who put it out about the Browns being, you know, very encouraged by Jerry Judy and they expect a bounce back and they think he can get back to what he was in 2024 under Todd Monk and Yadiyati out.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_10]: I'm like,
- 45:33[SPEAKER_10]: If they, if the Browns roll into 2026 going, yeah, we're good with Jerry Judy as our wide receiver one, we believe in him bouncing back.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_10]: You guys failed the offseason, failed it.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_10]: That is a mistake in my opinion to think that he's your wide receiver one.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_10]: I, we can't do that, can't do that.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_10]: Not again.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_08]: Go.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_08]: No.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_08]: No, not at all.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_08]: I think it just cements even more.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_08]: You have to draft your saber of one of these two first rampics because the free agency market is completely dried up and whatever trade target that you're going to go after and have to get going to be a high asset pick and then you're going to have to extend them off the rip.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_08]: So it's just it's so difficult to do you have to draft and develop.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, yep, and that's what we have struggled with so much in the past and you know, and it goes bad.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_10]: My whole thing with Kevin, I was thinking about this earlier today too.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_10]: You know, it feels like we talked about this all the time.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_10]: Andrew Barry has not seemed to have much of an issue drafting defensive players, or trading for defensive players, signing defensive players coming here and do pretty well, especially with those more premium picks and things like that.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_10]: We were able to build a good defense.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_10]: We also had a really good defensive staff and a good defensive coordinator.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_10]: How much of the offense is lack of development and poor play on the field was just because we didn't have good coaching?
- 46:53[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_10]: We're hopefully going to find out a little bit more about that this year, though.

- 49:29[SPEAKER_05]: Stay safe.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_05]: Make a new blush over here.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_05]: What's going on, guys?
- 49:35[SPEAKER_10]: How you doing?
- 49:37[SPEAKER_10]: Amen.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_10]: How you doing?
- 49:38[SPEAKER_05]: I just, good.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_05]: I just wanted to comment on because you were speaking about like Andrew Barry and his drafting with the defense and how we obviously didn't have an issue.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_05]: drafting for that this past year.
- 49:49[SPEAKER_05]: But I still have a theory that Andrew Barry was in some way shape or form just trying to screw Kevin's defense.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_05]: I think that I just think that them too for some reason they just at some point started clashing and banging heads and and he was like fine.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_05]: Then I'm just not going to draft any offensive players and you can deal with what you have and you can deal with Jerry Judy, Jemari Thrash, Sedrick Toman and see what you can do.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_05]: Um, so yeah, so I'm that's just a those stupid theory that I always just joke about.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_05]: So I am interested to see though how this draft comes around.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_05]: It seems like him and Munkin have a good relationship.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_05]: I sell a little bit of a weird feeling about if, uh, Andrew Barry wanted she'll house a little bit more than Munkin and Munkin was a, uh, owner pick, but from, um,
- 50:37[SPEAKER_05]: interviews and all that all the the press conferences and stuff it kind of seems like them to are on the same page which will be which would be really nice.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_05]: So that being said I think that we all know Munkin and his titans and how much he focuses on them and I mentioned this a little bit in the discord but how do we think slash how do we feel if we were to go
- 51:01[SPEAKER_05]: What's his name's to DEC?
- 51:03[SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_05]: Can I take that one of our picks here?
- 51:05[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know what's on.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_05]: I think he's projected towards the end of the first.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_05]: So I guess it would have to be our 24.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_05]: How would we feel about that?
- 51:14[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_10]: You're definitely not taking the title.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_10]: And like.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_09]: No, I don't know about even at 24 these based on needs, but like I can see why like you be asking, he's 6341 pounds, ran a 4.4, 4.35 vertical and 11 11 and a 1 rod jump like the guys athletic and I mean in your head, it almost be like
- 51:43[SPEAKER_09]: the previous question like can he play receiver, you know, you might get into a wild ideas like that and I can see with that his athleticism might think that, but it would be a little bit of a reach just based on the way that we use Harold Fanon and it'd be like drafting almost like Isaiah likely, right?
- 52:00[SPEAKER_09]: Like you'd have two of the same tight ends where the way that I think he wants to do 12 personnel eventually get to 11
- 52:08[SPEAKER_09]: a lot, but he's going to be 12 personnel this year.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_09]: I think you need a guy like Kate Otten.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_09]: You need a guy like Claire, Ohio State, and then you need a guy that just blocks.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_09]: So what's the other Ohio State name?
- 52:24[SPEAKER_09]: Ohio Titans.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_09]: Kaz Merrick.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_09]: Name.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_09]: Hi, Joe.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_09]: Where?
- 52:28[SPEAKER_09]: The block.
- 52:30[SPEAKER_09]: Kaz Merrick.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_05]: And there's words from Cincinnati, but I'm
- 52:36[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, and I like the kid from Notre Dame, too.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_09]: He's a big blocking tight end.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_09]: But you need a guy that kind of can do both, and a guy that blocks only, and the guy that's a receiver, and I think that's what he's looking for from mismatches.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_09]: But again, I can see why you like the guy, because if he was on the team, I wouldn't cry about it, you know?
- 52:55[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so Kenyansodique, I like him for sure.
- 52:59[SPEAKER_10]: I was going to, I was going to comment the other night in discord and then I thought, well, I'll wait and maybe we'll do this on the show and I'm glad you brought that up.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_10]: Because there's just some, there's some of the deeper metrics stuff on him and don't get me wrong.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_10]: I think he's a great player.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_10]: Obviously he's a phenomenal athlete.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_10]: But like he had a 1.62 yards per route run.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_10]: You guys know how I feel about anything under two?
- 53:18[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, that's not great to be six drops last year, only a 58.3% contested catch.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_10]: strong, just freak athlete, you know, tight end like this.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_10]: I just would have expected those numbers to be a little higher.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_10]: You just had a 4.9 jack per reception.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_10]: Some of those numbers just concern me a little bit about what he will be able to do as far as passing or I guess receiving production at the NFL level.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_10]: To use a premium pick on that when we have so many other needs
- 54:00[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_05]: No, I just brought up the idea.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_05]: I definitely also would not do it.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_05]: I just saw his scores and everything and how he performed in the combine.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_05]: And I was like, just thinking that there would be something the Browns could possibly do because it's just something that they would do.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_05]: I think it would be really stupid.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_05]: I agree.
- 54:17[SPEAKER_05]: I think Kate is what's his name Kate out in from Tampa Bay.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I think he's a solid solid pick and I think we can get him for a pretty good.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_05]: a pretty good deal.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_05]: So hopefully we're looking at direction, but yeah, I just thought I would bring it up, but I think that this, I also feel like this draft, it's pretty decently deep in tight ends.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_05]: I think that there's a couple of options out there that you can get laid in the round.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_05]: So.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_10]: No, I agree with you.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_05]: I think you would be smarter to save that pick for receiver offensive line for sure.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_10]: Like if you really want your athletic type of
- 54:58[SPEAKER_05]: I was just saying I also too, as far as other picks, I would like, I like that Jacob wrote, I think that the Rodriguez is that his name?
- 55:04[SPEAKER_10]: Yes, yep.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_05]: I like him too, but yeah, that's all.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_10]: Yep, no, I was just going to say real quick.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_10]: If you want like your more athletic type of Titan that Eli Stowers from Vanderbilt would be a good pick, Max Clare obviously from Ohio State.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, you're right, the Titans are deep and Michael Trig out of Baylor, Jack Andrews, Texas, Oscar Delp.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_10]: Is it guy to keep your, you know, on your radar?
- 55:29[SPEAKER_10]: He's from Georgia.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_10]: Said he would like to be reunited with Todd Munkin and Jordan playing for him.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_10]: This Sam Rausch out of Stanford and like you said Joe Reuer's from Cincinnati I still like Eli Raerdin from Notre Dame.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_10]: I mean it the list of tight ends.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_10]: I mean Tanner Coziel is a little bit later on Yeah, there's there's quite a fjolly.
- 55:50[SPEAKER_10]: I think yeah, I was a Justin Justin jolly jolly either way
- 55:55[SPEAKER_10]: There's a lot.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_10]: They're recorded.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, they're not like they're hiding.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_09]: There's a lot like a leak.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_10]: For sure.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, stay see anything.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I think I think like I said, we got to go, we got to go wide receiver.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_05]: No, we just got it.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_05]: We got to go wide receiver.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_05]: We got to go offensive line.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_05]: We got to get that sorted out first.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I'm interested to see what other free agent signings we have coming up.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_10]: Absolutely.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_10]: Well, hey, it was good to hear from you.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_10]: Um, and then it's always good to be chatting with you in the discord as well.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_10]: All right.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_10]: So, oops, sorry.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_10]: I, real quick, I know it's kind of late in the show to say, but there's like a lag on this, and then the internet or whatever we're doing here on the show tonight.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_10]: So, uh, if you guys are out there and there's like some weird awkward pauses.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, some stretches of silence.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_10]: The, the lag is really weird.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_10]: here tonight but we got two more people at the hands up we're going to try to do this rapid fire.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_10]: I think Colton was first so we're going to go there and then we'll wrap it up with Liam right after that.
- 56:58[SPEAKER_10]: So Colton, you got like 60 seconds.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_10]: What's it going on?
- 57:01[SPEAKER_10]: What's what's in your mind?
- 57:08[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, sorry.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_08]: I was trying to get my video to go there.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_08]: Hey, we're missing a big announcement today.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_08]: We officially broke ground in brick park to build our new stadium set for 2029 opening.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_08]: So just wanted to plug that in.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_08]: Give us a little good do this for early March.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_08]: And here you guys thoughts on what you're thinking of the new dome.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_10]: I'm ready.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_10]: I am ready to get out of the way.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_09]: I'll pop up the dome.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I'm not going to lie.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_09]: I turned 50 this year and every year I get one year older guess why I don't want to do sit in the elements.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_09]: And that's kind of where I'm out right now.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_09]: Sitting with I went with Blake and John, we went down to Vegas, sat a nice air conditioned stadium.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_09]: It was fantastic.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_09]: I got family that live in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_09]: and so we go to Detroit games and you know what it's far from the party out in the cold for three hours, two hours, whatever it is.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_09]: Four hours and then another four hours for the game, frozen man.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_09]: So I can't wait for this.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_09]: This is going to be great.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_10]: Yep, my agree.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_10]: I'm ready for the dome and the thing is we talk about all the time and play complaints more than anybody about it, but I'm with them.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_10]: I agree with them on this.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_10]: getting in and out of Cleveland on game day is a nightmare.
- 58:27[SPEAKER_10]: It's a nightmare.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_10]: It takes four freaking ever.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, it really is a full day.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_10]: If you're going to go up to a game because by time the game's over, you get to your car, you get out of the parking garage wherever you are and you get through the city.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, it takes forever to get to the highway to get moving.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_10]: So it's I'm excited for that.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, it's funny that you bring that up because somebody who doesn't live in Cleveland like myself.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_09]: I'm like, yeah, I can go run to mass, head or noble beast and have more beers.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, you know what I mean?
- 58:56[SPEAKER_09]: So I don't have to sit in the mat and deal with it because I just wait till the surge pricing for Uber goes down.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_09]: Then I'll go out to Strong'sville where I stay where everything's cheaper.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_09]: You know what I mean?
- 59:10[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, big time.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_08]: No, that's all I wanted to mention.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_10]: All right, man.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_10]: Well, thanks for that.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_10]: I'm glad you brought that up because I had totally had skip my mind that we broke around today on the new statement broke parts.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_10]: So that's awesome.
- 59:21[SPEAKER_10]: Liam, wrap us up tonight, buddy.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_10]: What's going on?
- 59:24[SPEAKER_02]: I just wanted to talk about one guy that I really loved from the combine.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_02]: and ask you as a opinion, if you think taking him at 39 would be acceptable, and that's Max E. He not sure from a Arizona State.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_02]: I thought he was like absolutely amazing at the calm line, like you ran a 491, which I know the 40 yard dashed, like basically useless, but he ran a 491, and his score, I forgot what the test is called, but that athletic score test, whatever.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_02]: He was like something in the 9.91 or something like that, and it was just an amazing calm
- 59:57[SPEAKER_02]: Like me personally, that's who I would take it 39 probably.
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_02]: So I just want to hear your guys thoughts on that.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_10]: I talked about him with Barry Schuck when I did the Senior Bowl stuff and he was very impressed with him in Mobile, looking into him, reading more about him, watching some tape and then obviously what he did to the combine.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_10]: I really high on this kid this, and you're right, how do you say it's Max?
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_10]: I a notch or I a notch or I forget how exactly to say it.
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_10]: I would totally be okay taking him at 39.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_10]: The big question for me is does he make it to 39?
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_10]: Because I feel like if there's a run on offensive tackles later in the first round early second round, he's going to be part of that run.
- 1:00:37[SPEAKER_02]: Probably.
- 1:00:37[SPEAKER_02]: And would you go Blake Miller or Eainotchor too?
- 1:00:41[SPEAKER_02]: Because I've seen some mocks have played, I don't know Blake Miller will fall there too, but if the choice between the two, I still think I'm taking you to hit offshore.
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_02]: But those are two interesting guys for 39.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I'm probably taking, you know, naturally.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_09]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I know Blake Miller's home.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_10]: They're having a guess.
- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:01:10[SPEAKER_10]: Men good to hear from you again.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_10]: Blake Miller's that hometown kid from Strong'sville, Ohio.
- 1:01:15[SPEAKER_10]: So obviously, there's that connection.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_10]: We didn't even talk about Drew Elder tonight who said that he would love to play for the Browns his home town team, his favorite team growing up and everything went to all the home games, yada, yada, yada.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_10]: I'm probably going to put together some sort of quarterback video mini episode talking about some of these options for the Browns that have been floated round.
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_10]: We've got the Anthony Richardson stuff.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_10]: Obviously, there's Kyler Murray to a tongue of Isolo's going to be getting released here next week.
- 1:01:44[SPEAKER_10]: There's just all kinds of quarterback nonsense going around.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_09]: We talked about the Tyson and somebody was asking about somebody was asking about
- 1:01:52[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so we'll talk about all that stuff.
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_10]: I've got a mock draft 5.0 my post and if I'll combine an addition that I want to put out later this week.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_10]: So there's all kinds of stuff going on.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_10]: We've got free agency.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_10]: I cannot believe it's a week from today.
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_10]: Like it's time is flying by.
- 1:02:08[SPEAKER_10]: It really is this off season.
- 1:02:09[SPEAKER_10]: So we'll see what they're going to do.
- 1:02:12[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, just or yes, Dunker.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_10]: Yes, Jennings Dunker.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I would love to have Jennings Dunker.
- 1:02:17[SPEAKER_10]: I think that kid is going to be awesome in the NFL.
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_10]: He's he's a lot of fun to watch.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_10]: So I see a tackle or see it.
- 1:02:25[SPEAKER_10]: So he played tackle.
- 1:02:26[SPEAKER_10]: I believe tackle or see a guard.
- 1:02:27[SPEAKER_10]: I think he played tackle for Iowa.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_10]: I think played right tackle, but I think he's going to be a guard.
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_09]: I think he'll be a guard.
- 1:02:33[SPEAKER_10]: Yes, he'll be a guard.
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_10]: Yes, okay, but again, you got the versatility there that, you know, in a pinch, if you got to move a guy kind of like the Texans have done with how or all these years, you know, use your right tackle, we need somebody to play left cards so they move in there for a couple of games or whatever until that guy comes back.
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_10]: So you do have a little flexibility with some of these players that's, you know, that could be a positive for them on the draft board.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_09]: So, all right, well, you just need one nasty guy on your line and that would be the guy.
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_10]: Yes, he is he is a moly nasty violent lineman and we do need that.
- 1:03:10[SPEAKER_10]: We really do.
- 1:03:10[SPEAKER_10]: We got to get back to being physical.
- 1:03:12[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, that's one thing I didn't want to say.
- 1:03:13[SPEAKER_10]: Todd Munkin did have a quote.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, he obviously had his press conference set a lot of stuff.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_10]: But one thing I took away from it was,
- 1:03:19[SPEAKER_10]: He said, we're going to freaking hit.
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_10]: He said, I don't believe that you can play physical, but practice soft.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_10]: And I'm telling you guys, when I want to add it, I'm sure you guys want to training camp practices too and things like that soft, soft practices and just felt like they're going through the motions and they were really accomplishing anything.
- 1:03:36[SPEAKER_10]: And you saw it on the field then on Sundays, we're just getting pushed around and bullied and it's like, we need to be more physical.
- 1:03:42[SPEAKER_10]: And just be nasty.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_10]: And I hope he holds true to that.
- 1:03:49[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I 100% agree.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_09]: Made the hit people in football, man.
- 1:03:54[SPEAKER_10]: Absolutely.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_10]: Absolutely.
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_10]: All right.
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_10]: Well, we're going to get out of here.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_10]: Thank you guys for tuning in.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_10]: This whole leg is driving me nuts.
