- Keoni McKeague: Welcome back to the podcast. I'm your co-host Kenny McKee. Get with me today on the FitDown. Our mob boys from the FitDown, Nolan Chang, Jared Shirai. Say what's up to the pod. Jared Shirai: What's up, what's up? Nolan: Hello. Keoni McKeague: Wow, that was a struggle. It's been a minute since all three of us have been on here. So I was just like, I almost forgot whose name I was going to say first. And then I forgot what names I was going to say. I almost said Nolan. I almost said Nolan Shari and Jerry Chang. So anyway, we are here to talk some. Yeah. Nolan: I know, but here we are. There's no wrong answers. an alternate universe. Keoni McKeague: But anyway, here to talk some NFL fantasy football tier one ⁓ people because we do have ⁓ some changes. ⁓ The NFL draft happened. There was some movement. I'm going to be real honest. ⁓ For myself, there's not a ton of stuff that changed, but there is some stuff that changed. So we'll get into that in just a little bit before we do that. We have to give a shout out to our partners over at W Energy. Fantastic tasting energy. All of the energy you need to get through your day. Head on over to w.gg or use the W Energy app and our promo code, is poi and soy. That's P-O-I-N-S-O-Y for 10 % off your order. let's talk some NFL fantasy football. he didn't do the thing. Jared Shirai: This kitty. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, I was gonna say, I was waiting for none of you to. I was like, ⁓ yes. ⁓ You guys killed my energy right there. I was waiting for like the, okay. the, don't just like, we already did that. We did that already. So head on over to w.net. Jared Shirai: I was actually waiting for Nolan to talk first because we haven't had Nolan on in a while. Nolan: was actually looking at my list. Sorry. You know what could change your energy? Dubby! I know, I'm just saying, I'm just feeding off of it. Jared Shirai: Dobby I got Dobby Nolan: Again! Keoni McKeague: As you can tell we are we're just all over the place today. I'm barely getting some caffeine in so anyway Let's talk about the quarterback position first. I know this is Probably one of the more stout positions like this isn't really one that has a ton of movement But I'm gonna throw it over to you first Nolan From the last time that we talked about this to now has anything changed for your list for tier one quarterbacks? Nolan: No, not really. ⁓ I think this is pretty stock standard. think for fantasy purposes, Josh Allen is going to be your moneymaker. ⁓ Mainly because not only can he get it done with his arm, but he can get it done with his feet as well. And he does it in bunches. Will they change things up this year? You know, we'll see. There's always that kind of discussion of, especially for us as Superflex, the first person off the board most likely doesn't reach the standards that we... are assuming that's why we're drafting them at pick one. But Josh Allen thus far in the season's pass is a safe bet if we're going based off of that. Number two, I got Drake Maystil. I have a lot of stock in him as being the second quarterback off the board for our Superflex league, especially now with You know, we're half a month away from potentially, which me and Keoni have talked about potentially, AJ Brown potentially being on the Patriots. if that, I mean, there's a world where if that comes to fruition, I may flirt with the idea of taking Drake first. But until then, until that time has been actually announced and it's official confirmed, everything's ink on paper, ⁓ I'm going to have Josh Allen one, Drake two. ⁓ The third person in my tier one is Jaden Daniels, and I think especially with how we saw how the draft went There's a lot more to be said about this offense with him there ⁓ We talked about Antonio Williams who's going to be a very good slot rookie. I think that's going to be great for him. Terry, ⁓ they also have Chig now over at the commanders. So that's going to be another big weapon for him to utilize. And Jaden Daniels obviously great on his feet as well. And they're going to be, they're going to be trying to preserve him a lot more this season. So I think that it's going to be a lot more ⁓ set run options for him rather than just kind of him doing on the, I think they're going to protect him a little bit more and they're going to have the pass game kind of steady because their running back room is not steady at all ⁓ and then last in my tier what last in my tier one i mean he's gonna be like he's gonna be off of the flats really if we're if we're being honest yeah yeah drone forward he did so good last season Keoni McKeague: What? He's like Bill and Rashad White. What? Jared Shirai: your own Ford. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, and Jerome Ford. Yeah. So it's like Jerome Ford's there. So Ask Jared all about Jerome Ford. Woo. Jared Shirai: gonna it. Two years ago, Jerome Ford. Woo! ⁓ Nolan: That's a little sneak peek on who tier one is for Jared and the running backs. I'm just kidding. Jared Shirai: Hey. Hey! He's bumping up, he's bumping up, bro. He wasn't even on the tier list. Keoni McKeague: All right. Okay. Yeah. Like you just jumped from like tier eight to like, drop over there. That'd be that'd be wild. Yeah. He's like past free agency. He's like already off. Nolan: We don't even have eight tears. ⁓ he's in the XFL. ⁓ the last, ⁓ Keoni McKeague: It would have been funny if we asked Jared to make a list and his list was just like guys he remembers like that did really good for him. So it's like Christian McCaffrey, Jerome Ford. ⁓ Jared Shirai: Yeah, Jerome Ford. Nolan: That would be terrible. But yeah, the last and the fourth one on my tier one is Joe Burrow. Strong offense coming back. I mean, I don't think anyone is doubting what this past game is going to look like. The only thing that does kind of separate him from the first three is that he doesn't get it done on his feet, ⁓ especially with how his injuries have been going the last few years. I'm assuming they're going to try to protect him and keep him in the pocket as much as possible. ⁓ But. Keoni McKeague: Hmm. Yeah. Nolan: When he is firing, is a very dangerous thing to be on the opposite end of that ⁓ any matchup during a week. So Joe Burrow is the one that round out my tier one. Keoni McKeague: Damn Skippy. Boog, I mean, we know I know we've kind of talked about the fantasy pros list before. Their list seems to be pretty stock standard. You have any deviations from what you're seeing on this fantasy pros list or anything that you heard from Nolan, like anything that you didn't like from Nolan's list or don't agree with Nolan's list? Yeah, no. Jared Shirai: Nah, just kidding. I actually, I like Nolan's list based off of like his reasonings of things. For me, the only thing that scares me about Joe and Jaden is the health issues. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Jared Shirai: ⁓ Last year they were out a bunch. The way Joe gets is he's getting hurt. Burrows is getting hurt in weird ways. And I feel like that's the one thing. If they're on the field, by all means, they're tier one quarterbacks because of the things that we've seen them do and the firepower that they do have. Just them being on the field for me is one of the biggest things. ⁓ I would love to throw somebody like a... Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Jared Shirai: Even with the removal, or quote unquote removal of AJ Brown, even though his arm hasn't shown us much, I do like the personnel that the Eagles have out for Jalen Hurts. Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Jared Shirai: You have Devontae and Makai. They got Natavia and Wicks now. Hollywood Brown. Goddard's still there, right? ⁓ I do think that there's still a notion where he can do things, not just with his legs, like how we talked about the Tier 1 quarterbacks, but you do have the, like, if he finally does find that throwing and shuts up the haters, basically, with his arm, he has the potential targets to do so. So I think I can kind of... Nolan: Yeah, I agree. I think we've talked about it too, we want see Jalen get back to using his feet in Jalen fashion, not just, hey, push him up two more yards. Jared Shirai: Yeah, like find your arm and find your, you find your running, like find your running legs, not just say, hey, let's just go get we need a first down right now. That's all we need. But. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, I mean he was a top three. Yeah, from a fantasy standpoint, I mean, how many years in a row was he like a top three fantasy quarterback? mean, so for him to have fallen out of the tier for I mean, for fantasy pros, for us, I mean, I I'm I agree with you. Yeah, wholeheartedly, because if he does lock back in and he becomes the Jalen hurts at one, the Super Bowl, mean, undoubtedly that guy and his legs could get you some fantasy points. So just to kind of round out this conversation, I'm heading to my tier. mean, I really don't have. Jared Shirai: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: too many deviations from what Nolan said or from what Fantasy Pro said. My biggest change from last ⁓ time I did tier one until now is just the addition of Joe Burrow to the bottom of the tier. So right now my list is Josh Allen, Drake May, Lamar Jackson, Jayden, Daniels, Joe Burrow. ⁓ I moved Joe Burrow back up into tier one mostly because of just everything that's coming out of the Bengals training camp and. ⁓ as far as like what they're saying about the team and the makeup of the team and sort of the additions they made this offseason. There haven't been like a ton of like big names added to the wide receiver room. They did get some offensive line help, but most importantly, this is just a team that is going to be rebuilt or continuing to build on the chemistry that they already have. So all that points to the fact that Joe Burrows probably going to have himself a hell of a season. I'm just again, like kind of what. book just said really worried about his health really worried about Jane and Daniel's health. That's why I have the both of them at the bottom of this tier rather than like a little bit higher because truth be told I feel like talent wise they're probably both better than Lamar Jackson. I just feel like health wise I can't put them past him because whenever you ever really seen Lamar Jackson out for an extended period of time for that Ravens team. So yeah all that to say tier one seems like it's a pretty easy conversation before we leave this. Jared Shirai: Yeah. Keoni McKeague: conversation about the quarterbacks. Anybody besides Jalen Hurts that either of you feel like could bump themselves up into the tier one conversation this year, because undoubtedly our next tier is probably like that group of guys, but is there anybody that specifically this year stands out as somebody that could possibly move themselves up into that top four or five conversation fantasy wise? Jared Shirai: I would say Jackson Dart. I think new head coach. I think he has neighbors coming back, slight in. Keoni McKeague: Ooooo Nolan: I always knew I liked the takes that Jared has. I always knew. Jared Shirai: Like new head coach like all that stuff like I literally think no that you're gonna see that Nolan Were you gonna see Jackson start? ⁓ Keoni McKeague: You Nolan: What? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, because he's my keeper. That's why I was like, I hope you're right, Jared. Keoni McKeague: He wants to say it, but he's just not going to say it. Yeah, you can say it. You can say it. Jared Shirai: You can say it. Yeah, you can say it. can agree with me. But I do think having the new head coach, the new system, getting your running back and your top wide receiver one back, as well as getting Isaiah likely there to help in that regard. think that's... ⁓ Nolan: No, no, no. Jared Shirai: a little more widespread offense and just looking at Cam and Malik like you'll have Slayton and Mooney stepping in right. Kavanagh is still there and he's a good like wide receiver three slash four and then Isaiah likely we see what he can do when given the opportunity to get the ball. I think that's basically going to help just Jackson Thart. And make me not make so many boneheaded run plays. He can do it with his legs, don't get me wrong, but he won't have to be as reckless because he'll have more targets to actually get the ball to. Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: That dude knows some game, you know what mean? I like Nolan, anybody for you besides Jackson Dart, because we know, you we know you believe in him, you know. Nolan: You No, I mean, well, obviously, I mean, I didn't have Lamar in my tier one, so that's always someone that's going to be possible because he's another dual threat quarterback. ⁓ But I'm really, you know, we've talked about it for weeks on end at this point, but I'm really intrigued to see how Justin Herbert comes into this new season with the weapons he has. I mean, they just got in Joko, so and then obviously ⁓ Mike McDaniel's being there at the OC running all the plays. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: ⁓ that's right. Yeah, that's right. I agree, that was gonna be mine. Nolan: I'm not going to, definitely Justin will be the one that's on the cusp for me, but if we're also looking at it from where he's progressed from his first to his second year, Caleb Williams has to be someone that we also look out to because I think he's definitely someone who's been thriving in this Ben Johnson offense in just one year sample size, but he's someone that seems to be wanting to grow and to compete and to be someone that's known throughout the league. So I'm excited for those two guys. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, that's. I was like, I don't disagree on the Caleb Williams one. I think he's another one that is right there on the cusp to kind of add to the Justin Herbert point. I mean, if you saw what he was doing when his offensive line was healthy last year, I mean, it was damn near MVP caliber play out of him. ⁓ Obviously, when you have your best tackles go down in the beginning of the season, it's pretty bad for you for the rest of the season. This season, he will have them plus more. So ⁓ definitely going to be a much improved offensive line. Yeah. Nolan: Charges are dangerous this year, if we're being honest. I'm terrified. Keoni McKeague: It's a scary looking team. I'm not gonna lie. Is that the one we bought the cheap tickets to? It's not gonna be cheap this year. I almost guarantee that price is going up for that team specifically. yeah, I agree wholeheartedly on those two names. Let's move on to the running back group because this is another one that doesn't have much variation but should have some variation, I'm assuming. ⁓ Nolan: ⁓ yeah, the titans. Yeah. Keoni McKeague: Actually, book author to you first because as you're looking at the list, you see who's there. You see who's at the top. You who's who's in tier one. Do you agree with the names and is there any sort of variation for you? Anybody you could see not being in that tier or maybe somebody that you see being in the tier. Jared Shirai: I'm clicking over to it. Keoni McKeague: ⁓ yeah, takes a bit. It's just like, gotta let your internet load. It's like, somebody better not be on the phone, you know? Jared Shirai: Yeah. Yeah, you know, it's the old schoolness Nolan: And dial up was... Ma, get off the phone! Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Oh, I know for real. You're like, yeah, right when you're about to. Oh, my gosh, that was the worst. Hey, baby, I just want to tell you that. Oh, come on. Who's on the Internet? Jared Shirai: WHO'S TRYING TO DIAL OUT?! Nolan: I have an AIM message! I have to respond! Jared Shirai: If I'm looking at this... ⁓ my gosh. Keoni McKeague: That was the other funny thing you could listen in on calls boy good times. Yeah. All right Yep. Yep Be super nosy. Yeah. I remember that good times Jared Shirai: Yeah. Nolan: ⁓ huh, Jared Shirai: You could hold it and be like... Nolan: Play music in the background. Jared Shirai: did that? Keoni McKeague: I was gonna say, you seem like the type of kid that would've done that. Yeah, no. Okay, it was me. I was the nosy one. Jared Shirai: I was the one that said get off the phone so could use the internet. Nolan: Well, considering how many sisters you have, it kind of makes sense. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Jared Shirai: For me, I like this list. ⁓ I'm looking at the right list, right? Bajan, Jameer, Kafe, Jonathan Taylor, James Cook. ⁓ I do like this list. I do think that ⁓ it'll probably be... Keoni McKeague: Oh, they moved up James Cook. Interesting. I was like, he was not in tier one last time we talked, so. Jared Shirai: Yeah, I have James Cook on the tier 1 list in running backs. Looking at it, I mean, I think it makes a lot of sense, right? Keoni McKeague: Wow. Nolan: hear us. Keoni McKeague: Was he? Nolan: I ranked fifth in the tier. Keoni McKeague: Bozzy ranked in tier one though. I feel like the tier ended at JT last time. Nolan: Anyway, continue Jared, sorry. Jared Shirai: All are you fine. Keoni McKeague: Well, it's wild. Jared Shirai: Yeah, each one for these guys, mean, they're their top getters when it comes to getting touches for their team, especially with Jameer Gibbs being, you know, if they do go to that one running back set out in Detroit, even though, like, you know, he does have Pacheco there as well, because he did sign there. And other than that, McCaffrey, Cook and Taylor and Bajan, they basically get all the running back touches for them there. And that's why Tyler Aljira left and everything, Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Jared Shirai: the whole that whole thing ⁓ for me i think ⁓ just with a new coordinator ⁓ a new offense i can see a chan kind of moving up into this list just because like you have joe i mean it's not joining love what's his name malik willis there ⁓ you do have a new head head coach there but you kind of want to go in i know i had a Keoni McKeague: Ooh. Mm-mm. damn disrespectful to call him by his old QB1's name, wow. ⁓ Yep, yep, wrong team, wrong team. Wow, what are the odds, ⁓ Jared Shirai: Calm down, calm down. You know why? Because I put up the wrong list. I put up the packers over here depth chart wise. was like, oh yeah, Jordan, I was like, oh wait, wrong. I was like, wait, that's not right. I was like, that's not right. Yeah. But I mean, Malik Igolis is there, Malik Washington is there, one. Like you think about their throwing game, it's not as strong as it could possibly be. And especially with a new system, a new head coach, you kind of want to go with something comfortable. And I feel like HN could steal a lot of touches in that regard, even if Jalen Redd. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Jared Shirai: and Olly Gordon are there, HN is like your, basically your work back. And I think from in that regard, he'll get a lot of touches moving forward. ⁓ Other than that, as I look through some of these other names, I mean, the only other name, and this is a reach too, is Kenneth Walker at the beginning of the year, because without Patty Mahomes, you know, like, you're gonna ask him to do a lot because without Pat there, like, you're gonna go with somebody who's there and proven, and Kenneth Walker is that guy. Yeah, Justin Fields is there. Yes, they still have good, they have Kelsey and they have the conceiving room, but Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Yeah. Jeez. Jared Shirai: Like, Phil's got to get comfortable and into the groove of things and into the system. I do think that Kenneth Walker will thrive through this just because he'll get more touches and something safeguarded through. So I feel like he's a person that could possibly jump into a tier one of touches rather than just like a top tier running back for the entire season. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah, it's funny because, man, I'm just thinking about the creativeness of an Andy Reid offense and the addition of a Kenneth Walker, the addition of a Justin Fields. mean, like if Patrick Mahomes isn't ready, trying to decide who's going to run on that offense is going to be insane because they used Rashid Rice a lot in sort of the sweep around stuff. Having him come around and then having like Breshard Smith and Kenneth Walker in the backfield just kind of standing there waiting and then Justin Fields. Jared Shirai: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: Goodness, the amount of movement the Chiefs are gonna have before the snap is gonna be insane. ⁓ anyway, Nolan, you kinda heard the list, you know who's on there. ⁓ Anybody who moved for you since the last time that we spoke. Jared Shirai: I'm Nolan: a little bit. I still have the same top two. It's going to be Bajan obviously ⁓ and then Jamir Gibbs because those guys are just going to be complete workhorses in their own right for each team. Very similar I would say in kind of playstyle but maybe I would say Bajan is a little more shifty than Jamir. Jamir is kind of like just a speed demon once he gets that track he's going for it. ⁓ The one that I moved up is actually Devon HN. ⁓ I moved JT down to my fifth spot. Keoni McKeague: Oooh! Nolan: and I had Devon Achan moved up mainly because he got the contract I think that shows a lot more of what the front office and his team stock wise is putting into him ⁓ so I think that he's they're gonna he was he was but he was in line number five so I switched him and JT ⁓ but yeah I think that he's gonna be utilized because he is mainly the offense I think it's gonna I wouldn't be surprised Keoni McKeague: Rank wise, was he in your tier last time? I can't remember. Okay, he was in your tier. Got you, got you, got you. Nolan: if they kind of use Devon H.Han in kind of a CMC role where it's a lot more of the pass game because he has that opening, give him a little bit of a momentum starter. Once he gets the ball in his hands, he's just off to the races. ⁓ So I'm excited to see how that kind of plays out, especially because this Miami team, we don't know what's going to go on this season. We can kind of predict where they're going to fall at the end of the season standings, but ⁓ where you're going to get the productivity from, it's going to be Devon. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Nolan: And then CMC, I still have him at four, mainly because he averages more pass yards than he does brush yards. That's not anything to scoff at. And with how this offense for the Niners looks, where it's still going to be kind of a fight for them to get respect, I think this season, and Shanahan's the one to do it, to earn everyone who's watching these games. ⁓ Without Kittle there, you're not going to have Joanne Jennings there. Brandon Nyuk is probably not going to be there. you have to figure out where you're going and the person who's gonna set the tone is gonna be CMC. that's, there's no question on that one. And then I moved JT down just because if you look at how everyone else has used, JT is the one power back and he's not really gonna be as shifty and as quick off the sides, off the flats like these other four are. And I think that's gonna be his, I don't wanna say his downfall, but in comparison to the top five rankings, that's gonna be the reason why he's not being placed up a little higher. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, I agree. I was like, it's funny because I feel like every year like Christopher Caffrey is like, maybe like a top five asset. And it's like it feels disrespectful to put him at like number three in this tier list. But I mean, it's like a 5050 on whether or not you know, you're going to get like, or I don't want to say the other one, but you know what I'm talking about? ⁓ Nolan: Yeah. Jared Shirai: Leave my boy alone. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know that's something I didn't say it. didn't say it. You know, I thought it very hard, but I didn't say it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. OK, as you guys, as I kind of mentioned in the first time that we did these tears, I am the running back heavy one for my tier list. At least last time I spoke, had six in this tier. This time I have eight because to be quite honest, I just feel like there is Nolan: Maybe. Jared Shirai: Your face your expression said it all. Keoni McKeague: a clear division between like the top tier running backs and the not so top tier running backs. And specifically this year, we're going to have some new offenses, some new changes to some of these guys' games. And that's why I have them up here. So to start off the rip, I got Bijan Robinson, course, Jameer Gibbs and Christian McCaffrey. Those three relatively untouched no matter what. They're not going anywhere. Last time, though, I had Ashton Gentry at this point. I did move him down and I do have JT here at number four. ⁓ I just feel like if you have Daniel Jones coming back, which all the reports are saying that Daniel Jones is supposed to be ready by beginning of the season. So we'll see if that ends up being true. I don't know how, you know, the surgery stuff clean up and all that has gone thus far. So we'll see if he's end up he's in there. ⁓ But all things are pointing to Jonathan Taylor starting off the season very strong. And then I moved Ashton Gentry down just because I have sort of the addition of Mike Washington being something that'll be something to monitor this year ⁓ You know, they got a new quarterback. So we do know that Fernando Mendoza is back there for him ⁓ But as far as everything I've read as far as everything I've seen out of the Las Vegas Raiders camp It looks like it's all go for Ash and Gentie. Really Mike Washington is a perfect compliment to what Ash and Gentie can do. They got Clint Kubiak now. I know a lot of people are worried about the sort of dual back thing over there in Las Vegas, I mean, you know, dual back option aside, feels like, I mean, the Clint Kubiak offenses always seem to lead to somebody being in the RB one conversation. So I'm putting Ashton Gentry as the obvious number one in this. then, of course, I still have Omarion Hampton up there because as we kind of talked about the Chargers, that offense, the improved line, everything going on with Mike McCarthy, ⁓ it's just all pointing towards or sorry, excuse me, not Mike McCarthy, Mike McDaniels. Also like everything is pointing towards the fact that Omarion Hampton is going to have an increased role. ⁓ We didn't get to get to see what he could do ⁓ last season, obviously because of the injury. I just think that it's gonna be something that ⁓ the Chargers are gonna be emphasizing this year. So Marion Hampton having a larger role in this offense. And then the two that moved up into this tier for me that weren't in this tier originally are James Cook and Devon Achan. Really, there's nothing outside of the fact that the production that they've done over the last couple of years with James Cook specifically. I had him the year that he was. All touchdowns, no production. Last year he was all production, not as much touchdowns. This year, if he can combine the two, I just feel like that's a megastar in waiting. But how many times have we had that happen? I don't know. The Buffalo Bills also sort of improved this off season. ⁓ Yeah, was like, DJ Moore is like a pseudo upgrade, but. ⁓ Nolan: Mm-hmm. Sort of. Keoni McKeague: all that to point to the fact that this offense is probably not going to change very much. don't think they had. I don't think adding D.J. Moore changes the dynamic of the offense. Yeah, like it's not going to be like a pass heavy team all of a sudden. They're still very run heavy with Josh Allen and James Cook. So it feels like his roles are going to still be there. And then with H.N. again, you guys pointed to it. You got the big contract new offense. They seem to really, of course, like him because they did just pay him. Nolan: It doesn't tip the scales. Keoni McKeague: There are lot of rumors about whether or not they were going to trade him. They obviously didn't do that. Now they're focusing in on him. You know, again, with the wide receiver additions, there weren't very many of them. I think right now their best receiver is probably not. always get it. Malik Washington, right? It's not Parker. Parker is okay. Yeah, Parker is Jacksonville. Yeah. But yeah, Malik Washington is their best receiver right now. They added Terp in, I believe, this offseason. So. Nolan: Parker's Jags. Keoni McKeague: You know, I think they got, is this the team that landed Chris Bell ⁓ in the, yeah, okay. So Chris Bell was landed in the draft. So, you know, another big name for them to watch out for, but I believe he's going to start off the season injured. So we'll see whether or not he's even a factor. All that points to the fact that A-chan, Malik Willis, they should be the offense this year. So, ⁓ yeah, I put him in tier one just because I feel like he has the trajectory of a tier one guy. Jared Shirai: Chris Bell and Tutu Atwell. you Keoni McKeague: So let's move over to the wire. Actually, before we move on, anybody that you guys see moving up, because obviously I threw some names that I already moved up, anybody that you see from the next tier or below that could be one of those guys that enters the conversation. Nolan: I'm with you on the Ash and Gentie and the James Cook. ⁓ James Cook a little bit more so just because he has it already. You know what mean? Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Nolan: It's not like he has to take his game up a notch. It's literally if the ball falls in his hands at the right time so There's no question on his talent his ability with that team and then Ashton Denty I love that you would you kind of refer to the Clint Kubiak's and how everything is kind of run through their off his offense And Ashton Denty is for sure going to be someone that's going to be benefiting the most from that Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Yeah. Mm. Yeah, and we're gonna watch him and Jeremiah Love go at it. I Still waiting for that game to get announced. Book, anybody for you? Nolan: I hope. Jared Shirai: hahahaha for me, like sleeper wise, think Saekwon might be a pick for me just because like he Keoni McKeague: It's crazy how that Sunday that's there and nobody's really talking about him. Jared Shirai: Yeah, like he's had he had a big year, right? And then last year he was a little more quiet. And I feel like this year is going to be like that in between year where he finds that that stroke of success that he had, but he's still going to have those little struggles. And I feel like. Coming off the season, I feel like he was a more, I mean, after you have such a big season, got such a big disappointing season that I feel like he has a little bit more something to prove, especially since they didn't go as far as they wanted to go or as they probably should have gone as far as like when it comes to success in the playoffs. I think that that'll bring like a little chip on the shoulder for him to come through and. I think he'll come in on a mean streak if anything happens because with this whole AJ Brown dilemma of like then figuring out who your wide receiver one is, probably going be Devante, like, then getting Makai into the field of things like Se-Kwan, if he just feels like you're safe net of everything to where give him the ball, let him work. And that's literally what he did that first year he was there and he was super successful with it. So I feel like he's a tier one sleeper for me. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Yeah, I agree wholeheartedly. Because you guys kind of took the ones that I feel like are a little bit more obvious. I'm going to go with one that I feel like is a little less obvious that I'm sort of buying in on being a guy who can hop up into this tier. And that is Breeze Hall. He got the big contract. know, he was I mean, what was like two years ago? He was a top three running back pick in fantasy football. I think we're funny. I think last year we. Nolan: Mm-hmm. Jared Shirai: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: kind of got that production out of him. It was sort of his proven year, the contract year, trying to get everything settled over there in New York and trying to get them to pay him, which was ridiculous. They were even considering not paying him. But ⁓ I think that there's a chance, man. Breeze Hall is going to be that guy that ⁓ pretty much carries this New York Jets offense. I know Geno Smith is there now. So that should at least improve the team from where they were last year because he had a combination of Justin Fields and Tyron Taylor and I forgot the other guy's name. ⁓ but now you have at least a more proven Gino Smith coming over here to New York. You have an offensive line that is healthy and much improved. have, you know, a litany of offensive weapons now with all of the young talent they added in the draft, including both Kenyon Sadiq and Omar Cooper Jr. Garrett Wilson's obviously there. You had Adonai Mitchell popping off last year and really his Running back tandem group is still the same. know, we're still going to have the Isaiah Davis and what was the big boys? ⁓ Geez, what was his big backs named Braylon Allen? I was like, you're still going to have the both of them there that compliment him very well. I just think that this is a year that we're going to see Breece Hall, you know, really step into that final form that we've been waiting for. So, yeah, final form. Anyway. Nolan: Final form. Keoni McKeague: That's gonna be the guy that I throw up there into my possible tier one conversation. So let's move over to the wide receiver room and let's see who we got here. ⁓ Boog, starting off with you first because you have the list in front of you. Any names that pop off to you, anybody that you think doesn't belong in this tier and anybody you think does belong in this tier. Jared Shirai: mean, these are undoubtedly probably the best receivers. You have Jamar Chase, Puka Nakua and Jax JSN. I mean, that's like the offense for each of those teams. Puka. The only thing is like, what is the Puka situation for me coming into this? Like. Nolan: I saw him doing OTAs. Yeah, so I mean, something I mean, he's clearly available. And he's not. He's not locked up, you know what I mean? Keoni McKeague: It was in there, yeah. Jared Shirai: I mean, as long as he's available, sure, he's a, he's a, yeah. Yeah, no, as long as he's available, then I think like this, is undoubtedly top tier, what tier. Keoni McKeague: It's just a little biting guys. He's fine. Jared Shirai: You Nolan: Ha! Jared Shirai: I'm gonna stay out of this conversation. So, Jamar Chase, know, and Joe Barrow back in the center, at the quarterback there. ⁓ I mean, Andali, by far the best target, favorite target, ⁓ was still a threat, no matter who his quarterback was. I think he deserves to be that top tier in that one spot. And JSN with Sam Darnold, they're only growing stronger together. We see what he can do when given the opportunity to do so as the wide receiver one, he was by far the best wide receiver. in the league last year. So for me, I mean, this year is perfect. And with the Rams and Pukunakua, last year, I'm going to say with that is like, they kind of have something to prove this is the year they're to go all in and that's their guy. They found their wide receiver one and yeah. Nolan: uphill battle they got the third strongest schedule Jared Shirai: And if you're gonna produce against the big teams, that's the one guy you gotta kinda lean on. those three, I think they're well-deserving of it. Nolan: or hardest schedule I guess is the best. Yeah. Keoni McKeague: That was the other thing. Don't the Chargers have like the second easiest schedule? Yeah. Well, that division, right? was like, the division is pretty stacked. ⁓ Anyway, Nolan, throwing it over to you. Any changes from the last time that we were here talking about Tier 1 wide receivers? Nolan: I don't know how that happened. Good for you guys, okay? Yeah. No, not really. I still got 6 in the tier 1. ⁓ Puka, Jackson. ⁓ The main reason those two are above Jamar is because when you look at their roster, their teams, Puka and Jackson are the guys. They are the one no matter what you look at. When you look at the Bengals, Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. Nolan: There's a reason why they've paid T. Higgins, though we don't necessarily agree that they paid him so much. There's a reason why they paid T. Higgins. It's because of what he's actually able to bring alongside of Jamar Chase. And there's plenty of... ⁓ history logged, documented of T Higgins outperforming Jamar Chase's in multiple games. So that's the main reason why it is a little hard to put him above the other two when you know that if push comes to shove down the line, Puka and Jackson are getting the ball. Jamar Chase and T Higgins are both kind of, I'm not, still Jamar's team, but T Higgins is right behind them. And it's a little daunting as a fantasy manager to kind of look at that. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, I don't know that we've ever had a dynamic like these two really like, yeah, it's kind of hard to. Yeah, maybe Pooka and Cooper Cup when Cooper Cup was kind of, you know what mean? Like that was the closest thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Back when Matt Stafford was racist. Right, because they were like, they're like, he won't ever throw to like any of the black because they had Robert Woods and Robert Woods was like the star. Nolan: Yeah, yeah. It's pretty crazy. And then number four. Yeah, he was still there and then ⁓ started tipping the scales a bit more. ⁓ Jesus Christ, what? Yeah... Nervous... Keoni McKeague: All of a sudden, he's just like, nope, that way. Like, he's just like, damn, dog. I was like, come on, dog, that's your best receiver. Nolan: Come here Cooper. Cooper Cup. Come on man! It's crazy to think of that because he threw to Calvin Johnson for how many years? We're making jokes here everybody. We're not saying that mad stuff hurt. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Yeah, yeah. That's how I thought it was super funny that everybody even brought that up. I'm like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, obviously. But it was really funny that that was the thing. was just like, he was his best receiver was Kevin Johnson. I was like, now he got Devante. I'm like, come on. You know what mean? Nolan: Mm-hmm But yeah, my number four is still a Mon Raw ⁓ Mainly because that offense needs to sing in both the pass game and the run game you have Jumeirah Gims holding it down the back build you're gonna have a Mon Raw as the quick out for Jared Goff when it when it comes to their actual pass game and I think I mean we've talked about Jameson Williams the ups and the downs a lot of downs with that guy so A Mon Raw is probably a safe bet, especially if you're looking at him in the first round ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Yeah, spoiler. I'm avoiding that dude. Like the plague. Yeah, Jameson. Yeah. Nolan: Jameson. ⁓ He's talking about Jameson. Next, you know, I was contemplating moving Justin Jefferson up because I believe we did tier one last time before the news of Kyler Murray came out. ⁓ So that is that is the one guy that's kind of on the cusp of being moved up in my rankings just above them on ⁓ because of now having Kyler there who is a competent quarterback, though undersized, at finding his wide receiver one. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: Yes. Tiny little competent. Compact and competent. Boom. Nolan: Just you guy. And then the last... Dang. Make a shirt with that. Keoni McKeague: Lowkey, kind of. was like, if I was short, that'd be a great team name. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, Lowkey. Compact and competent. Boom. ⁓ Nolan: actually a banger name like for a six foot and under volleyball league like ⁓ And then finally Drake London. ⁓ You got two there. Two is going to be the guy that's going to deliver the ball to Drake London this whole time. I think that these guys probably won't be moving out of my tier one. ⁓ And I don't necessarily have anyone yet that I can see completely shifting up. If I'm going to give one. I know it's a little early because you usually ask at the end of the one guy that I would debate pushing up. Keoni McKeague: No, no, go ahead, go ahead, yeah. Nolan: And I know we just had ⁓ our risers and fallers. Maybe I should have added him as a riser. Chris Olave. I mean, I, yeah, yeah. I think Chris Olave has potential to be, cause he finished as the number seven wide receiver in fantasy last year. And I think that's no scoffing at anything that was going on. And keep in mind. Keoni McKeague: ⁓ that is not where I thought you were going. Whoa. Wow. Yeah. Yeah. Nolan: He had Rattler for the first half of season. And if you're going to have Shuck from the beginning to the end, Chris Olave has a dynamic range of where he can perform this season. And he'd be the one guy that I'm considering pushing up after we see how Trading Camp falls. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Whoo, that's a spicy, spicy. I like that take. Ooh. You have a mind. You know what mean? I'm thinking I'm through some stuff now. But anyway, she threw me off. I forgot what's going on. Yeah. As far as my list goes, I'm with I'm with you as far as the I still have Pukka Nakua over Jamar Chase. ⁓ I just feel like one from how he performed last year to kind of like what we're hearing out of that training camp stuff with Matt Stafford and all that. So I just feel like. Nolan: He he he he he! Keoni McKeague: you know, headache stuff aside. I just really like Matt Stafford ⁓ with this offense much improved. Yeah, yeah, I was like, ⁓ on top of that, I mean, I feel like they're going to be focusing in on getting this guy the ball a lot. They're going to be playing a lot harder this year, even though last year, like obviously they did really well. I feel like this year with the schedule being as crazy as it is. Nolan: I like him in this offense too. Keoni McKeague: You're going to need your best guys to be at the top of the game. So this feels like a situation where the Rams are going to be in sort of ⁓ a prove it year because they lost to the eventual Super Bowl champions. Yeah, yeah. And so I mean, we've talked about it already. This is probably the one we're putting some money on to win the whole thing. But like I'm saying, I think that all points to the fact that Puka Nakua is still going to be the top receiver. Nolan: Mm-hmm. And boy do they have a battle. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: I do have Jamar Chase after him and I still had Jackson Smith at number three for the simple fact that of all the quarterbacks, he's probably the least talented quarterback, you know what mean? Comparatively so to Matt Stafford and Joe Burrow. I just feel like the two of them are better than Sam Darnold. Though I agree with the points, I think he's still a tremendous wide receiver. On top of that, I think that they're also going to be a much improved offense in general just because Nolan: I that, yeah. Keoni McKeague: You know, the chemistry is all there and all that stuff. But ⁓ anyway, for number four, I still have Justin Jefferson here. had him here. Number four last time. I still believe that he's going to be in this conversation. Talent wise, I mean, he finished, I mean, wide receiver 22 last year, which isn't great, but he had JJ McCarthy throwing him the ball and we saw how that all worked out. We're hearing how that's going this off season. mean, Jay Jettis has already kind of made the slight at JJ by kind of saying like, we're going to get somebody who's better at throwing the ball kind of this year with Kyler Murray. So that's already working in his favor. I just think that better, more competent, compact and competent quarterback this year. ⁓ it's going to be something a lot, ⁓ much more improved for Jay Jettas. And then I had, I didn't have him here, but I did move him up into my tier one and I didn't mention that he was a guy that I was probably going to move up eventually just because I always slight him every year and that's Amon Ra. I do have him at number five. I did originally have Drake London here so Drake London slid to number six for me ⁓ with the Amon Ra situation. Kind of like what you pointed out. Jamison Williams is like a nothing burger as far as fantasy. Isaac Tesla you know he's going to be the red zone target but as far as like every down production it's going to be Amon Ra you know what I mean. They did lose David Montgomery so Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: I'm not sure how that factors into the running game, but I just imagine that there may not be as much of like sort of the split back stuff and you may just get a lot more throwing out of Jared Goff this year if they're trying to preserve Jameer Gibbs for the entire season and that sort of stuff. So, yeah, I'm going to Rob moved up here to number five and then Drake London at six just because again, we really like the Atlanta. I don't know why the Falcons are catching so much flack for. Nolan: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: their team this year, a lot of people are sliding them and putting them kind of near the bottom of the, the, what are they? The NFC South, AFC South. What are, I forget what, what division they are. ⁓ NFC South. Is that the division that they're? Yeah. So a lot of people are putting them at the bottom or near the bottom of that division. I mean, I know that's a tough division. They got Tampa Bay, they got New Orleans and they have Carolina. So, but interesting that they're at the bottom of that. mean, Nolan: NFC. I think they're NFC. Yeah, definitely NFC. Definitely NFC. Yeah. Keoni McKeague: feels like we always talk about how good that team is. I was like, wow, that they would, but I agree with the crystal lobby thing. That was a really good one. If I had to throw somebody up here, that wasn't going to be the name that I was going to say, but your points are very valid. I really, really do like that name. That's what I'm saying. Yeah. What did they say? Something about, ⁓ Kelly. ⁓ no, I'm sorry. Wrong, wrong offensive coordinator. Nevermind. Excuse me. I was going to say I was thinking of Liam Cohen. Nolan: Kellen Moore does wonders for wide receivers. Let's be clear about that, right? Keoni McKeague: I was like, Liam Cohen was the one that produces slot receivers that are top tier. ⁓ But yeah, demons, especially in fantasy. as far as the name that I it's probably the safe pick, but somebody that I feel like could jump up ⁓ again, this is based on the. What we talked about already, the alleged probably going to happen trade scenario, and that's AJ Brown. I mean, I'm putting him up, I'm putting him up as someone. Nolan: The demons. ⁓ you flying them up there. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, I'm way up there. AJ Brown, man, three years ago was like one of the best receivers in all of football. He just never really had, you know, the last couple of years have been the quarterback that just doesn't throw him the ball. We saw him at the top of the tier of wide receivers when he was with the Titans. I still think he has all the talent in the world. We're still just waiting for him to have a competent throwing quarterback. Nolan: Everyone wants to call him a prima donna but let's call Spade a spade. It wasn't necessarily him, man. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. ⁓ I thought you were going to say all wide receivers. I mean, kind of. You got to have some. You got to have an attitude about you, even though like, yeah, even though some of our top guys are not really that way. ⁓ But anyway, all that said, AJ Brown, man, I feel like if he lands in the right, you know, air in the right offense, specifically. Nolan: Yeah, yeah. I'm always hoping. Keoni McKeague: Patriots offense. just feel like it's all gold for AJ Brown. But Boog, before we move away from the wide receivers, anybody that you see moving up into that wide receiver one conversation. Jared Shirai: The whole time you guys were talking like I was thinking and I was looking at numbers I was looking at the teams like their depth charts I don't think there's anybody that I would move in like as far as it comes to tier one that you guys didn't mention like I am Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Jared Shirai: The only person, and just because he's a pre-Madonna, like we just talked about pre-Madonnas, like I know Dak and CD have like a great relationship, but George Pickens could be that guy. The production that he had, the amount of targets he had last year, what did he have? Like, I think it just had it up. He had like 132, 137 targets, caught 90 something of them, and it was like 1400 yards for nine touchdowns. Nolan: Yep, yep. Jared Shirai: CD, CD was, had more. Keoni McKeague: Monster Production. Jared Shirai: CD had like 177 targets, but like had less catches for less yards per average and only three touchdowns last year. So like if there's anybody who's gonna, who would be in my opinion, kind of jump up and thrive through this, it would be George Pickens. But I don't know if it's a tier one for me, maybe at the bottom of tier one, but he'd be teetering for me with the way that we know George Pickens is able to go off in games and for the teams that he plays for. Keoni McKeague: A weird outlier year for CD, man. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I'm actually surprised we didn't mention anybody from that Cowboys team because it feels like they kind of, I mean not drastically, ⁓ I guess drastically, they kind of improved everywhere this offseason, you know what mean? We talked about them having one of the better off seasons. Nolan: And if everything's really good, that means someone's moving down in their productivity, you know what mean? Keoni McKeague: That's true. That is true. Yeah, I was like. Jared Shirai: ⁓ But I mean, like you talked about CD, like how he had a kind of an outlier year. I could see him being the one that kind of like goes off this year because he didn't have the best of years, kind of like how I just talked about in the last conversation. So. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. I mean, there was a point where I mean, even last year, it was a point where like CD-LAM was like a bonafide guarantee 100 % first round pick. Now this is like the first time that like we're seeing like maybe he's not. Maybe he will be. Who knows? I'm sure somebody's going to, you know what I mean? Look at the like, ⁓ but he's CD-LAM. You know what I mean? They'd grab him anyway. yeah. Jared Shirai: Yeah. Yeah, you gotta play the name and be like, hey, dude, he's still and he's still the one you listen to. Why is here when he still got his quarterback, you know? Nolan: Yeah, no, no, no, really. Keoni McKeague: He's, you know what's funny? He's the, for me, him and Amon Ra, they're like the nightmare scenario that I am hoping not to, because I'm at the end of the round. If both of those names are there, I'm gonna be like, eee, but my strategy. ⁓ You got Christian McCaffrey, shut up. ⁓ It's probably gonna be C.D. Lam and Amon Ra. ⁓ Jared Shirai: I don't even get a first shot pick. Nolan: Hey, but think about it, any given week that could be like 40 plus points. Jared Shirai: Yeah, but I gotta wait to see what comes back around to me and what I'm gonna grab. Yeah, exactly. Like, would you really think about it? So I'm gonna go Chris Olave. You guys are all gonna pass, I'm gonna to Chris Olave. Keoni McKeague: Oh my gosh, please don't. It's like Jerome Ford second round. We're like, Yeah, yeah. Nolan: Hmm. Jared Shirai: No, I'm gonna draft backwards, yeah, so like when I have my keeper for next year. ⁓ yeah, like my last guy. I'll keep you my last pick. Nolan: What the f- ⁓ my. Yeah, they're gonna make it to the end. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, like your guy, like your guy's gonna fall. Yeah. Jared Shirai: Hey, you could forget about him. ⁓ my God, Patrick Mahomes is injured. You don't want him. He's not going to play all season. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. She's like, wow, Patrick Mahomes is still here in round 15. That's crazy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No. Yeah. Anyway, I was like, yeah, anyway, that is my nightmare scenario. Having the both of them fall to the end of that round and then me having to decide between them and like whoever the next best running back is, is going to be like the yeah, please, please league. Nolan: No one is forgetting. Say no more! Jared Shirai: you Yeah. Keoni McKeague: please select all the wide receivers before I have to pick them. ⁓ Anyway, let's move over to the tight end position. ⁓ I'm so glad by the way that you guys are not right next to me this year. Every single year I see to always be like, it's like Jared Nolan me or Nolan Jared me. So I'm glad that you guys are like in the middle and not right in front of me anymore. Nolan: ⁓ in Keoni McKeague: What do you pick for this year? Yeah. Yeah. I was like, it's a good spot. Good little spot. Yeah. It's dangerous for you. Joe Burrow. Just joking. Anyway, ⁓ let's talk about the tight ends over here. ⁓ Yeah. OK. I ⁓ was like, let's stop playing around over here. I mean, this year you could actually draft him and he would be playable. You know what mean? Nolan: Yeah, could be dangerous. Hahaha Jared Shirai: cousins. Hahahaha Yeah. Keoni McKeague: Anyway, tight ends. Let's move over to that conversation. Boog, we're going to start over with you again. Anybody you disagree with the list having here at Fantasy Pros. Jared Shirai: Let's see, Trey McBride, Bowers, Colson Loveland. I think each one of these guys are top tier for their team. Colson Loveland has emerged as that number one guy out in Chicago. So I do love that he's there. Brock Bowers has been sure handed. He's been basically their their number one receiver or hands guy out there. And now with a better, I would say with a better quarterback and kind of same thing in the Trey McBride. Keoni McKeague: Mm-hmm. And now better quarterback? Maybe? Jared Shirai: Like you're getting a taller quarterback, right? Which, could be good and bad for him, right? Just in a sense of now they can actually see Marvin Harrison Jr. So he might be able to throw the ball to him and give him the ball where he needs to, you know, Michael Wilson kind of came out Kendrick borns out there as well. So there's like a little more spread. him being number one, I wouldn't say, I would say I would lean more towards the Brock Bowers here and then the coast and Lovelins just because now the addition of Jeremiah. Nolan: No. You know who the ball's going to. Michael Wilson. Keoni McKeague: Michael Wilson. Yeah. Jared Shirai: love and then Jacoby Brissette as the number one quarterback. I don't know if Trey McBride is going to get as much love through that as well. So it would kind of go in that order for me. And then I think for me, I think last year was a big A big outburst for these two. It's Tyler. I don't even know what word I want to use, but Tyler, Warren and Tucker Kraft before Tucker Kraft got hurt like he was the guy out there. I really hurt my season. If I'm really going to be honest about it. He really hurt my season when he got hurt. I think he was. Yeah. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. You're all of us in different leagues, right? Yeah. Nolan: Mm-hmm. ⁓ yeah. ⁓ yeah. Jared Shirai: And that's why like when he went down, I mean, he was their best, their best output as far as when it came to the receiving side for the Green Bay Packers. Same thing for Tyler Warren. Kiyoti, you had him last year and man, every week he just seemed to be a bucket for you. Like just reliable points. think that's like, he deserves to be. These two, especially with Daniel Jones coming back at quarterback and with the departures of all these receivers in Green Bay. I think these two tight ends like get to move up into the top tier for me at least. because for those reasons alone. Keoni McKeague: My man. I'm gonna just bounce off of that because pretty much my list is exactly what you just said. So ⁓ yeah, I mean to kind of emphasize the point, Trey McBride still at the top of this one for me. I don't know if that's really gonna change until we see what the Brock Bowers, well, Kirk Cousins or yeah, Fernando Mendoza. Yeah, also Fernando Mendoza makes Kirk Cousins look Jared Shirai: would do at every quarterback. But Kirk Cousins at a tight end has always been. Keoni McKeague: tiny. I didn't realize how big Fernando was. But ⁓ yeah, so we'll see how that conversation plays out. Then of course, Brock Bowers, Tucker Kraft, I still have here. ⁓ excuse me, actually, no, sorry. That was my old list. Old list I had Tucker Kraft at number three, I did move Colson Loveland up. I do believe that Colson Loveland from a talent standpoint, upside standpoint, Jared Shirai: posted. Keoni McKeague: Again, this is kind of where my list if you're noticing a trend with the guys that I'm putting up here, like with the Ashingenties on Marion Hamptons, it's because of that. It's like the upside of like these younger year two guys. I know your two scares a lot of people because your two is like usually when you bite on a guy and pick them really early and then he ends up, you know, kind of kicking you in the butt later on. But for me, Colson Loveland in a Ben Johnson offense, we've not heard anything about Colkomet in forever. ⁓ we saw how he ended the year. I just feel like he's one of their better, ⁓ receiving threats. And of course, with Caleb Williams kind of stepping into that possible, you know, MVP conversation form that we're seeing him morph into, especially in this Ben Johnson offense. think that there's a good possibility that Colson Lovelin is going to finish as a top guy. I still took a craft of four and then I still have Tyler Warren here at number five. ⁓ so I agree wholeheartedly with what you said. Talent wise, these are my five. I don't know that I'm going to slide them down any further. Tight end is a weird position anyway. You know what mean? There's a lot of guys that you're not really sure whether or not they can or they won't or what they're going to produce. yeah, this is like you're hoping for like the I don't even want maybe like 12 to 18 points like that to me is like tier one for a tight end. So yeah, or it could be like two receptions for, you know, 20 yards and Jared Shirai: Mm-hmm. or they'll get the opportunities. Nolan: Yeah. Jared Shirai: Yeah. Like five receptions and a touchdown. Like literally that's kind of what you're looking for. Keoni McKeague: a touchdown or two touchdowns and you're like, ⁓ that was a tight end one day. ⁓ Anyway, Nolan, looking over your list, what do you have different? Did anything change from the last time we spoke? Jared Shirai: Yeah. Nolan: Yay! Jared Shirai: Yeah Nolan: Only thing they changed is, because I originally had three in my tier one, which was Trey, Brock, Tucker. only thing I changed it up is I did add Colston to the bottom of that. So he has moved up to my tier one. He's in the, at the, the fourth slot. Same reason. I mean, same reason why I haven't moved up Tyler Warren's. just don't know who the quarterback is. Like it's easier for us to make a read on JT because you're handing the ball off to him. It's very hard to suck at the NFL level to hand a ball off to somebody. Um, Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Nolan: Yeah. But yeah, I think. Keoni McKeague: It's like we saw Bill get the ball handed to him and he sucked. Nolan: Yeah, that's true. ⁓ But no, yeah, this is all assuming that Tucker Kraft, he's slated to be expected back by week one. There's a chance he may be delayed, maybe a couple games, but he'd still be someone that I'm looking at as bringing right into the fold the moment I draft him. And then Colson Loveland, everything you said, echoing, ⁓ he just has, you saw the flashes last season as a rookie and you saw... ⁓ these big games that he was able to produce when you didn't expect it from him. this is also his head coach is the guy who puts Sam Laporta on the map for the most part, you know, I mean, like he's he's someone that you're going to be looking at like Colston Loving can be that guy. So I'm very excited to see how this kind of year progresses for him. Keoni McKeague: Yeah. That's a very good point. Alright, before we move out of the tier conversation in general, does anybody have anybody that you think could move into tier one conversation? I mean, we had two rookies, any rookies that, I mean, actually all the rookies landed in terrible spots. Let's keep it a buck, you know what mean? Maybe Kenyon Siddique, maybe he landed somewhere that could be a plus for him, but. Jared Shirai: Yeah. Nolan: Yeah. Jared Shirai: mean, if I'm being honest, maybe Kyle Pitts? Nolan: Mm-hmm. I was looking at that too. Keoni McKeague: Ooh. Jared Shirai: Maybe Kyle Pitts? That's the only real person I would say. Nolan: You saw what did with what Tua did with Johnny Smith, right? Jared Shirai: Yeah, and I think that he got paid right and he kind of proved his worth and ⁓ You know just I feel like besides Bajan drinks and Like the two of the whole tour thing is the is kind of more my selling point for everything of why I think he could be that guy I don't know what they're doing out in Detroit. I want to say Sam but it Keoni McKeague: That's true. Yeah. Yeah, he's another name. Yeah, for sure. Jared Shirai: It's still like a toss up with Detroit. Detroit's just such a weird team to want to pick anybody but Jameer Gibbs. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, or I'm on raw. Yeah. Jared Shirai: Like if I'm picking it up here, Yeah, like I'm on. It's kind of like that borderline rights. Laporta could be that borderline, even like a Jared Goff, because he only has his arm basically. I. But. Yeah. Mm hmm. Mm hmm. When it comes to a fantasy and how you want the production of the things, the way they do things, like it's it's a very weird, weird like feeling or they're like kind of like. Nolan: Yeah, yeah, I'd say. Yeah. Keoni McKeague: They should be a good team. That's the thing. It's like on paper. They're actually like a really good team is just I don't know. I don't know how I feel about them every year. It's weird that all of the players are like that. Like they're like on the cusp. Yeah. Outside of Gibbs. Gibbs is like the only for sure. 100 percent. That dude is a baller. Jared Shirai: Yeah, exactly exactly He's that only guy like okay, give him the ball, you know what you're getting out of him Like he's gonna give you what you what you're what you're putting in Yeah Keoni McKeague: Yeah. Only Gibbs, yeah. Subscribe to his Only Gibbs, not Shooky. If I had to pick somebody that I was looking at moving up here, I had two that I feel like I'm still figuring out their situations and whether or not I like where they're at. But I would just say that I think that there is a scenario where it hits and both of these guys can move up into the conversation. That's Harold Fanning Jr. and then Isaiah Likely. ⁓ Jared Shirai: FFFF- you ⁓ my gosh, I you were gonna say I say it likely. ⁓ Keoni McKeague: For Harold Fadden, mean, I think that I mean, the conversation has to be had. The Cleveland Browns had this tremendous draft. They had a crazy good offseason. They tremendously improved the offensive line. The only thing that we're trying to figure out is whether or not Chaudhuri or Deshaun Watson is going to be their starting quarterback and what that's going to look like. And I think that there is a world where if Chaudhuri is the starter and he ends up being the guy, I mean, you built a perfectly built team around him. You know what mean? ⁓ Super stout defense. You have this offensive line. That's crazy. You added weapons all over. You got two really good wide receivers added to this wide receiver room. just feel like with Harold Fanon there, he is the veteran guy. He's the guy that they're going to be utilizing the most in the offense. And then for Isaiah, likely, if we believe that Jackson Dart is going to be that guy. Jared Shirai: Mm-hmm. Keoni McKeague: I mean, Isaiah likely is a hell of a target to be throwing to. know they already had Theo Johnson. Yeah, exactly. ⁓ I know they already have Theo Johnson, but let's keep it a buck. Isaiah likely is much better than Theo Johnson. And then, you know, this is hardball we're talking about the loyalty he has to his team. I mean, if he could have got Linderbaum here, he would have. You know what mean? He got Isaiah likely to come here. He also got Patrick Ricard to come over here. So it just feels like there's a reason. And I Nolan: Damn skippy. Keoni McKeague: think he knows the reason is that Isaiah likely is that guy. ⁓ yeah, I am rocket to the moon with Isaiah likely this year. So we'll see where that plays out for me, you know, could could could sink my whole season. So anyway, with that said, ⁓ I think that'll end this conversation for tier one boys. You have anything else you want to say before we leave the people here? Nolan: more than likely. Jesus. The hotel is booked, the flights are booked, I am ready. Keoni McKeague: I'm so excited. Let's really hope that that Arizona game ends up being during the weekend. That would suck if it's not. So it seems like it's going to be. mean, it makes I mean, I feel like it makes the most. They literally have like the other game is one week later. So it feels like right. It would be like the week before. It's just a matter of what day. Yeah, it's just a matter of what day will it be. So hopefully it's not Thursday. Thursday would suck. Nope. No jerseys for me. Nolan: So excited! Yeah. Yeah, they wouldn't do a short week. Jared Shirai: Why don't we buy our jerseys? Nolan: I already got a puka jersey. Keoni McKeague: You Jared Shirai: getting the kicker jersey. Nolan: ⁓ the Tokyo Toe. Keoni McKeague: ⁓ those jerseys that one I will buy with you that one I will buy with you if they if they release if they release the kanji one that's the one I want yeah 100 % Jared Shirai: I thought we were getting the Tokyo Toe, dawg! I was gonna say, I thought we were getting the Tokyo Toe, man! Nolan: Dang. Jared Shirai: Yeah, if they are like, they release it, when are we getting it? I'm down. I'll spend money for that. Keoni McKeague: Yeah, I'm with you 100 % for that one. ⁓ Anyway, I think that'll do it for this episode of ZFISZOWN and they are... There we go. was like, with that said, it's been a pleasure. It's been a joy from all of us here at Poi & Soy. Nolan: Your vibes and love everybody. Keoni McKeague: Bang, bang. Jared Shirai: Shoots!
