- 0:14Speaker 2: Amanda, Yeah, what beat you, Amanda?
- 0:19Speaker 3: I was bit by a big dog appressa at work
- 0:23Speaker 3: when we were trying to lift it onto the X
- 0:25Speaker 3: ray table.
- 0:26Speaker 2: A pressa. I've never heard of that.
- 0:29Speaker 3: Yeah, they're like really big dogs. They can get over
- 0:31Speaker 3: one hundred pounds. We were doing a team lift, so
- 0:35Speaker 3: there was three of us and we went to lift
- 0:37Speaker 3: her onto the X ray table. And she wasn't showing
- 0:40Speaker 3: signs of aggression before that, but she was a little
- 0:44Speaker 3: in pain and really afraid, and so she turned the
- 0:47Speaker 3: snap at my coworker and he moved and then she
- 0:50Speaker 3: turned at me, but she bit my X ray badge,
- 0:54Speaker 3: so luckily it did like bruise pretty bad. But when
- 0:57Speaker 3: she bit the X ray badge, it didn't like pull
- 1:00Speaker 3: my skin very much.
- 1:01Speaker 4: Just a big looking dog, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
- 1:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Well, thank you, Amanda. Okay, so dogs are off the
- 1:09Speaker 2: table now. We were taught this. Hello, wops, oops my bad.
- 1:15Speaker 2: I hit the wrong rum. Good morning, Hello John jaye.
- 1:18Speaker 6: Rich?
- 1:18Speaker 2: Is something by you? Oh my god, you had to
- 1:22Speaker 2: turn down your radio. Hello? Hello, Hello John Jay and Rich.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Hello.
- 1:33Speaker 5: Are you guys giving away the diamondback ticket?
- 1:35Speaker 2: Yeah? It depends what you get. Would you get bit by?
- 1:38Speaker 6: Oh?
- 1:38Speaker 5: My daughter got it by a rattlesnake. Actually not me.
- 1:41Speaker 5: I got bit by a dog in my face when
- 1:43Speaker 5: I was little pincer, But it didn't really leave a
- 1:47Speaker 5: bad scar. It actually looks pretty decent. It's only like
- 1:50Speaker 5: a dot on my forehead.
- 1:52Speaker 2: You got lucky, then? How old is your daughter when
- 1:53Speaker 2: you got bit by rattlesnak?
- 1:55Speaker 5: My daughter was four? Mountain Yeah. We went to south
- 2:00Speaker 5: out here in Phoenix and she stepped out of the car.
- 2:03Speaker 5: We were all getting out so we can, you know, explore,
- 2:05Speaker 5: And when she stepped out, there was I guess his
- 2:08Speaker 5: her grandfather parked right on top of the rattlesnake. Yeah,
- 2:15Speaker 5: he puts like parked right there where he was laying,
- 2:17Speaker 5: and it got her right in her knee cap.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Hold on second, I.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Think they're so hard to see, like on the in
- 2:22Speaker 4: the Arizona dirt.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Dude, rattlesnakes scare the hell out of me.
- 2:25Speaker 1: It makes me not want to go anywhere and sip
- 2:27Speaker 1: in my little area, you do only go everywhere.
- 2:30Speaker 2: I mean even less than that. I mean, I'm just
- 2:33Speaker 2: like terrified John J.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Bubble is not a big bubble, terrified rattlesnakes, Angie, what
- 2:39Speaker 1: bit you?
- 2:40Speaker 4: Hi?
- 2:40Speaker 2: Hi?
- 2:42Speaker 6: I did not get bit by anything. I was actually
- 2:43Speaker 6: attacked by a baby bear.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Well, same thing. I mean, as far as getting bit
- 2:48Speaker 1: or being attacked, and it's just when animals attack. So
- 2:54Speaker 1: tell us the bear story. What happened there?
- 2:57Speaker 6: Okay, it's kind of embarrassing that I'm like, you know what, whatever,
- 2:59Speaker 6: I'm gonna go for it. We were at Lopez Lake
- 3:03Speaker 6: in California and I was dating this guy and he
- 3:06Speaker 6: wanted to go camping. And I'm not like an outdoorsy person,
- 3:09Speaker 6: and I said, sure, fine, whatever it was. You know,
- 3:11Speaker 6: I was in college and I figured why not. So
- 3:13Speaker 6: we went camping to this place called Lopez Lake and
- 3:17Speaker 6: have like little mountains, and he ended up inviting his
- 3:19Speaker 6: brother and a couple of other you know, family members,
- 3:23Speaker 6: and it was supposed to be like a family camping thing,
- 3:25Speaker 6: and we it was just very like, uh, it was fun,
- 3:29Speaker 6: but we it was nighttime and we wanted to, you know,
- 3:33Speaker 6: do the thing, and so we went up to the mountains,
- 3:35Speaker 6: took a little hike to get away, and yeah, a
- 3:39Speaker 6: little baby bear comes near me, and this guy that
- 3:43Speaker 6: I ended up marrying by the way runs instead of
- 3:46Speaker 6: things still. I'm like, what the hell You're from California
- 3:48Speaker 6: and I'm from Arizona. I figured you would have better,
- 3:51Speaker 6: you know, bear.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Did you ever see a bear?
- 3:55Speaker 7: Or away from the ran away from the.
- 4:02Speaker 6: Standing there, like I remember my brother telling you if
- 4:05Speaker 6: you ever see a bear, just stayed still. So, you know,
- 4:08Speaker 6: I feel the clawn of my back and I'm the
- 4:12Speaker 6: way I came into this world. Okay, So I standing
- 4:17Speaker 6: their naked, I feel claw in my back and I'm like,
- 4:20Speaker 6: oh my god, and this is how I die. I'm
- 4:22Speaker 6: thinking in my head right, but I don't. I didn't
- 4:25Speaker 6: realize that he was running to get like his brother
- 4:28Speaker 6: who had bear sprays. It was horrible. It was bad.
- 4:32Speaker 6: I mean, I survived, obviously, but it was really embarrassing.
- 4:36Speaker 6: Like this is the first time I met his family
- 4:37Speaker 6: and I'm standing their naked, clawed It's like, you know,
- 4:43Speaker 6: and afterwards, you know, it was just bad. It was
- 4:45Speaker 6: I mean, it's a nice champion trip, my d I
- 4:48Speaker 6: don't think it's my brother does not sound like a
- 4:50Speaker 6: nice trip.
- 4:51Speaker 4: That sounds like a date that would not turn into another.
- 4:55Speaker 6: It was, yeah, that's I mean, it should have been right,
- 4:58Speaker 6: But like he was just you know, was he he's
- 5:00Speaker 6: a really good guy ideal? I mean, I guess I
- 5:02Speaker 6: just had dated trash before him.
- 5:04Speaker 2: So I was just like, hey, was he naked when
- 5:07Speaker 2: he ran a good help? Yes, so that'd be pretty
- 5:11Speaker 2: I mean, if you're.
- 5:12Speaker 1: His family and you see him coming in screaming and
- 5:14Speaker 1: make it for Bear Spray Rose, what the hell? No,
- 5:23Speaker 1: Spray doesn't get rid of that.
- 5:25Speaker 4: Do you ever see that show?
- 5:26Speaker 6: They don't talk about it, but in the back of
- 5:28Speaker 6: my head when I'm sitting there on Christmas.
- 5:30Speaker 4: I'm just like, yeah, they.
- 5:34Speaker 6: They're like crazy naked bitch that was screaming for help
- 5:37Speaker 6: on the top of.
- 5:38Speaker 1: The hill, Angie, don't go away, Hold on a second, ago,
- 5:40Speaker 1: hold on, hold on a second, hold up.
- 5:42Speaker 7: Whenever I see that show alone, do you watch that show?
- 5:44Speaker 7: It's like Survivor but you're by yourself. These people deal
- 5:46Speaker 7: with all kinds of stuff like zero degrees fires. But
- 5:50Speaker 7: whenever there's like a bear near the area, they put
- 5:53Speaker 7: their flare up and they're done.
- 5:54Speaker 4: They're not messing with any bear.
- 5:55Speaker 5: Man.
- 5:55Speaker 4: Yeah, I get it, but that's scary on me.
- 5:58Speaker 2: The what bit you? What attacked you? Armita? Hello?
- 6:05Speaker 8: Oh hi, hey your can you hear me?
- 6:09Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 6:11Speaker 1: Okay.
- 6:12Speaker 8: So my daughter got bit by a rattlesnake in Mexico
- 6:16Speaker 8: over by the border in No Gallas and they only
- 6:19Speaker 8: had one anti venom there, so my son in law
- 6:23Speaker 8: had to drive her to the border and there was
- 6:25Speaker 8: too many cars in line, so he had to literally
- 6:28Speaker 8: bring her across, carrying her and hand her to an
- 6:31Speaker 8: agent because he couldn't cross over, and the ambulance was
- 6:35Speaker 8: waiting for her there, and they had to fly her
- 6:38Speaker 8: to Tucson where they had it because there was no
- 6:41Speaker 8: other place there. Wow, but it was a baby.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Rattlesnake are really dangerous. Trevor, what bit you? Trevor, John Jay?
- 6:52Speaker 4: Sorry you cut out?
- 6:54Speaker 2: Okay? Yeah.
- 6:55Speaker 9: So I've been been stung twenty one times by squirpia,
- 6:58Speaker 9: so it's not intentional, yeah, a little.
- 7:05Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, right.
- 7:05Speaker 9: So my parents lived in the same house in Paradise Valley.
- 7:08Speaker 9: Was an old nineteen fifties house, so growing up like
- 7:12Speaker 9: as control wasn't the best. It was an old brick house,
- 7:15Speaker 9: so uh yeah. The first time I was actually sleeping
- 7:18Speaker 9: in my bed and when it stung me in the
- 7:20Speaker 9: peck and then on the bicep, just sleeping. The second time,
- 7:24Speaker 9: I was going to the bathroom down the hallway and
- 7:27Speaker 9: it was dark and I stepped on one went to
- 7:29Speaker 9: go flip the light on and stepped it on it
- 7:31Speaker 9: again before.
- 7:31Speaker 2: I flipped the light on.
- 7:33Speaker 9: And then the final one, which was the worst, I
- 7:35Speaker 9: was stung by one mom and sixteen babies. Yeah, it
- 7:40Speaker 9: was July nineteenth, of goodness, I don't know the only
- 7:43Speaker 9: reason I remember the date. It was my brother's birthday
- 7:45Speaker 9: and my dad asked me to take the trash out
- 7:47Speaker 9: and I put my foot into his work boot. Sure enough,
- 7:50Speaker 9: they were all in there waiting for me.
- 7:51Speaker 1: So hey, like, what's it feel like to get stung
- 7:54Speaker 1: by scorpion? Can you compare it to something? Because I'm
- 7:56Speaker 1: terrified of those things.
- 7:58Speaker 9: Honestly, it's just like a little bit more of a beasting.
- 8:00Speaker 9: You do a little benadryll cream and you take you
- 8:03Speaker 9: take some ben dry put some itimes really not that bad,
- 8:05Speaker 9: but it was the combination of all of them. Uh
- 8:08Speaker 9: sent me into a complete shock, My body into a shock,
- 8:11Speaker 9: and I had to go get the rattlesnake anti venom
- 8:13Speaker 9: that Scott still sha My eyes were rolling in the
- 8:16Speaker 9: back of my head.
- 8:19Speaker 7: My god.
- 8:19Speaker 9: Uh yeah, yeah, that was pretty wild.
- 8:23Speaker 4: I wonder if he has superpowers now that he's been
- 8:25Speaker 4: stung so many times because the babies.
- 8:27Speaker 9: Are one who I can walk upside down on the
- 8:29Speaker 9: ceiling and right now.
- 8:30Speaker 1: So all right, hold on second, Trevor, hold on, who
- 8:34Speaker 1: would you give the damas great.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Angie? Do you want the damonback tickets?
- 8:41Speaker 6: I do? If I if that be? Who would have.
- 8:52Speaker 8: Known that that'd be?
- 8:53Speaker 6: U'd be coming up on the radio hole places.
- 8:56Speaker 2: That's such a great story.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Hold on, angel a lot and Trevor, that was a
- 9:00Speaker 1: great story, tang It was a great story too, Trevor.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Do we have extra diamonback but you want you want
- 9:05Speaker 2: diamabackic tickets, Trevor.
- 9:07Speaker 9: I'd love him. My kids love to be back. So
- 9:09Speaker 9: it's the best time to go.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Oh yeah, okay, hold on, we give you some two
- 9:11Speaker 2: way to go. We got extra tickets.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Hold on, Yeah, they're playing for the wild card right now.
- 9:16Speaker 4: That's exciting.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Can I tell you guess what I was hoping for
- 9:18Speaker 1: and and this person would be the winner. It's on
- 9:20Speaker 1: our Facebook Teresa, and anyone can call her or Teresa
- 9:23Speaker 1: if you could listen. Teresa was bitten by get this
- 9:26Speaker 1: an orangutang while walking to school when I was in
- 9:29Speaker 1: kindergarten in Sacramento. A workman had it tied to his
- 9:33Speaker 1: truck bumper and I thought I'd try and feed it.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Bit by an orangutang. Yeah, so if anyone can get
- 9:41Speaker 1: hold of her
- 9:42Speaker 2: We win too.
