- 0:09Speaker 1: You hear that beat, you know it's time for the
- 0:11Speaker 1: Stardom Cinnam Show. Welcome everybody to week three. My name
- 0:14Speaker 1: is Marcus Grant, his name is Michael f. Floyo, and
- 0:17Speaker 1: we are here to talk about Michael lef florio Stardom
- 0:20Speaker 1: Sind Them column. You can find that at NFL dot
- 0:22Speaker 1: com slash start sit. I know that you put that
- 0:24Speaker 1: out every single week and there's no hate or discussion
- 0:26Speaker 1: at all about it. If people just accept that as gospel.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Oh yeah, the comments are always super friendly.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 0:32Speaker 2: I look forward to reading them each week.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Absolutely, it's just sort of nice, relaxing reading. Sit down
- 0:36Speaker 1: on the couch and let's see what the Internet has
- 0:38Speaker 1: to say about things, because the Internet is always complimentary
- 0:41Speaker 1: all the time. We will have the top starts and
- 0:43Speaker 1: sits of week three. We'll have some of the biggest questions,
- 0:46Speaker 1: and of course we're gonna open up development ropes and
- 0:48Speaker 1: see who gets at the club dub who's gonna score
- 0:51Speaker 1: you twenty five or more Fantasy points this week? But
- 0:54Speaker 1: let's get started with the quarterback position. Taking a look
- 0:57Speaker 1: at these starts and sits for week three.
- 1:00Speaker 2: You got Tua tongue of I LOOA against the Broncos.
- 1:03Speaker 2: I think Kirk Cousins is a great start this week.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Jared Goff as well, especially at home, and then some
- 1:08Speaker 2: sits little spicy with Trevor Lawrence there. I'm not ready
- 1:12Speaker 2: to start Jordan Love just yet. And Matthew Stafford. I like,
- 1:16Speaker 2: only if you're kind of handcuffing into Joe Burrow right now.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Otherwise I think you.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Get a weak Maybe I'm crazy, like I'm big on
- 1:22Speaker 1: Matthew Stafford this week. He's in my sleeper's column. I
- 1:24Speaker 1: think he has a really good week. Maybe I'm just
- 1:26Speaker 1: like a little bit drunk off of what I saw
- 1:27Speaker 1: from the Rams offense the first two weeks of the season.
- 1:30Speaker 1: But let's talk about Kirk Cousins because through two weeks
- 1:34Speaker 1: he is your QB number one, which I don't think
- 1:37Speaker 1: anybody saw that one coming. And this potentially could be
- 1:39Speaker 1: a score fest against the Los Angeles Chargers.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Yeah, that's exactly why I want as many Vikings and
- 1:45Speaker 2: Chargers as I could get in my starting lineup this week.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Kirk Cousins right now is top two in the NFL
- 1:50Speaker 2: in passing yards and passing touchdowns. The Chargers have allowed
- 1:53Speaker 2: the most passing yards through two weeks. Remember what Tua
- 1:57Speaker 2: and Tyreek Hill and them did week one. I think
- 1:59Speaker 2: we could get something similar like that from the Vikings
- 2:01Speaker 2: this week. This is a must win game on both
- 2:04Speaker 2: sides with two really good offenses and not so great defenses.
- 2:07Speaker 1: The Chargers are the first team in NFL history to
- 2:10Speaker 1: have fifty plus points but yet b zero to two. Wow,
- 2:13Speaker 1: this was gonna be wild, though, should be a whole
- 2:15Speaker 1: lot of fun. In theory, somebody has to win, but
- 2:17Speaker 1: you know, I could end in a tie. I'm rooting
- 2:20Speaker 1: for that. That would be fun. I mean not for
- 2:22Speaker 1: Vikings or Chargers fans, but for me in my own
- 2:25Speaker 1: personal enjoyment. That would be a lot of fun. You mentioned,
- 2:27Speaker 1: Spicy that you've got Trevor Lawrence as a sit going
- 2:30Speaker 1: against that Houston Texans defense, which, look, they're not terrible.
- 2:33Speaker 1: They're not great, but they're not terrible either.
- 2:35Speaker 2: No, and they you can run all over the Houston Texans,
- 2:39Speaker 2: which means if they don't always give up a whole
- 2:41Speaker 2: bunch of passing volumes. So far this season, they've allowed
- 2:44Speaker 2: just one passing touchdown, and since the start of last season.
- 2:49Speaker 1: It is sixteen.
- 2:50Speaker 2: They actually have more interceptions in that span than passing
- 2:53Speaker 2: touchdowns allowed, and Trevor Lawrence he got them twice last year,
- 2:58Speaker 2: did not throw a touchdown in either gave me, threw
- 3:00Speaker 2: three interceptions, and he averaged just two one hundred and
- 3:04Speaker 2: nineteen passing yards. I know it's a little bold. I'm
- 3:07Speaker 2: not telling you to sit him for anyone, but it's
- 3:09Speaker 2: possible you paired him with a Jared Goff or a
- 3:11Speaker 2: Kirk Cousins. I would go that way. I even think
- 3:14Speaker 2: Russell Wilson is appealing over him this week.
- 3:17Speaker 1: That's right. All the things you said are why I
- 3:20Speaker 1: really love Travis Etn this week, because I don't know
- 3:22Speaker 1: that they need to lean on Trevor Lawrence in the
- 3:24Speaker 1: passing game a whole lot. But I do think they're
- 3:26Speaker 1: going to give a lot of touches to Travis Etn.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Let's turn our attention to the wide receiver list. Florio
- 3:33Speaker 1: starts and sits for the pass catchers. Who do you
- 3:35Speaker 1: like and who do you not like?
- 3:36Speaker 2: Puka Nakua must start option at this point. I think
- 3:39Speaker 2: Mike Williams is as well Jordan Addison. You might notice
- 3:42Speaker 2: a trend from that game. Nico Collins has been awesome,
- 3:45Speaker 2: and so Zay Flowers is getting more work than I
- 3:47Speaker 2: think people might realize some CITs. It pains me to say,
- 3:51Speaker 2: but Garrett Wilson, I think you get away from Marquise
- 3:54Speaker 2: Brown against the Cowboys. I had Jsen as a start
- 3:57Speaker 2: last week. He did not come through until we see it.
- 4:00Speaker 2: I think you gotta sit him and then Courtland Sutton
- 4:03Speaker 2: as well as they sit for me.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Got Nico Collins on that list. And this is a
- 4:07Speaker 1: guy that we thought could be the wide receiver one
- 4:09Speaker 1: in Houston. Right now he is the wide receiver seven
- 4:13Speaker 1: overall eighty plus yards in both games. Looking for another
- 4:15Speaker 1: big outing against Jacksonville this week.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's not like like you said, eighty yards
- 4:19Speaker 2: or more in each game. It's not a one week thing.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Through two weeks right now, he's averaging ten targets, one
- 4:25Speaker 2: hundred and thirteen yards and just under twenty one Fantasy
- 4:28Speaker 2: points per game. And the thing is when the Texans
- 4:30Speaker 2: fall behind, they abandoned the run. Altogether. They are one
- 4:33Speaker 2: of two teams with over ninety pass attempts and they're
- 4:37Speaker 2: all funneled to their wide receivers. Nico Collins with someone
- 4:40Speaker 2: I liked as a sleeper coming into the year. He's
- 4:42Speaker 2: now someone that I am starting everywhere that I have.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Him him Tank Dell too in other name, I remember
- 4:47Speaker 1: because he's getting a lot of work in what again
- 4:50Speaker 1: should be a pass happy offense for the Houston Texans.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Garrett Wilson, we were really hoping that he was quarterback proof.
- 4:57Speaker 1: That might not be the case. Zach Wilson might be
- 5:00Speaker 1: the Garrett Wilson stopper, especially this week against Bill Belichick.
- 5:03Speaker 2: It was kind of like DeAndre Hopkins when he had
- 5:05Speaker 2: to play with Brock Osma was like, he's quarterback proof
- 5:07Speaker 2: with anyone but this guy, and that is Garrett Wilson.
- 5:10Speaker 2: And I know in Week one he came through, but
- 5:12Speaker 2: he needed a catch of the Year candidate for a touchdown.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Week two, he came through with a sixty eight yard touchdown,
- 5:18Speaker 2: but besides that, he called one of his seven targets
- 5:20Speaker 2: for fifteen yards. In Zach Wilson's career against the Patriots
- 5:24Speaker 2: three full games, He's thrown two touchdowns, seven interceptions, and
- 5:28Speaker 2: the Patriots have about just two touchdowns to wide receivers,
- 5:31Speaker 2: which is extremely impressive when you factor in they've played
- 5:34Speaker 2: Miami and the Eagles, so I don't think Garrett Wilson
- 5:38Speaker 2: scores a touchdown, and if so, I think you want
- 5:40Speaker 2: to get him out of your lineup.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Adam Rank once called brock Oswiler a shut down quarterback,
- 5:44Speaker 1: and I feel like we can sort of say the
- 5:46Speaker 1: same thing about Zach Wilson at this point. Coming up next,
- 5:51Speaker 1: we're gonna talk some tight ends because they are certainly
- 5:53Speaker 1: a mood. Also going to have our own vibe check
- 5:56Speaker 1: tell you how we are feeling about some of the
- 5:57Speaker 1: big fantasy questions that you have this week. Stick around
- 5:59Speaker 1: for more of the Stardham Sittum Show starts at tight
- 6:08Speaker 1: ends for week three.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Florio Go Sam Laporta is becoming very quickly a person
- 6:14Speaker 2: you want to start each week. Kyle Pitts, I'm giving
- 6:16Speaker 2: you another chance. Dallas Goddard is too good to get
- 6:19Speaker 2: away from despite the slow start, and I like the
- 6:21Speaker 2: matchup for Hayden Hurst even if Andy Dalton will with
- 6:24Speaker 2: Andy Dalton starting some six, Dalton Schultz, Gerald Everett even
- 6:29Speaker 2: in that score fest Chega Konkuo and unfortunately Tyler Higbee,
- 6:33Speaker 2: he just has not.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Got a whole lot of volume. Yeah, for all the
- 6:35Speaker 1: hype about Puka, Nakua to to that well, Kyron Williams
- 6:39Speaker 1: or Kieran Williams. I guess is we're being told Tyler
- 6:42Speaker 1: Higbee has sort of been the big loser in this
- 6:44Speaker 1: for the Rams offense, at least for fantasy purposes. That is.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Let's talk about Sam Laporta though, because I know you
- 6:49Speaker 1: and I liked him at the start of the season.
- 6:51Speaker 1: We liked him as a late round draft pick. At
- 6:53Speaker 1: this point, he's sort of approaching must start territory.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Yeah, he was the tight end eight in Week one,
- 6:58Speaker 2: followed it up with the being the heighten eight in
- 7:00Speaker 2: Week two, and on this season. Right now, he is
- 7:03Speaker 2: the fourth highest scoring tight end entering Week three. He's
- 7:07Speaker 2: been playing consistently over eighty percent of the snaps, getting
- 7:10Speaker 2: consistent volume. But I think we could see him used
- 7:13Speaker 2: even more as he just becomes more comfortable in this
- 7:15Speaker 2: line's offense and just in the NFL as a whole.
- 7:18Speaker 1: He's just getting plenty of targets. He's showing he can
- 7:20Speaker 1: make plays, and again it helps that they're not asking
- 7:23Speaker 1: him to block. Just run routes, get open, catch the football.
- 7:25Speaker 1: That's all we want you to do. I think I
- 7:27Speaker 1: expect there to be a lot of throwing in that
- 7:29Speaker 1: game too. All Right, this is the part of the
- 7:31Speaker 1: show where we talk about Kyle Pitts. Fantasy Twitter has
- 7:36Speaker 1: sort of united. This is the last stand. It's now
- 7:39Speaker 1: or never for Kyle Pitts.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, I feel like I'm in like three hundred
- 7:43Speaker 2: or something like that. This is this is it the
- 7:47Speaker 2: final chance for Kyle Pitts because it's all about the matchup.
- 7:51Speaker 2: It's not even about Kyle Pitts at this point. The
- 7:53Speaker 2: Lions so far have allowed the most yards two tight ends,
- 7:57Speaker 2: and they're allowing eighteen Fantasy points per game to position.
- 8:00Speaker 2: And you might be like, Okay, who have they played?
- 8:03Speaker 2: They played the Chiefs without Travis Kelce and then the
- 8:05Speaker 2: Seattle Seahawks. Kyle Pitts is easily the best tight end
- 8:10Speaker 2: that they are going to have faced so far through
- 8:12Speaker 2: Week three. I don't trust Arthur Smith to do the
- 8:16Speaker 2: right thing, but in a game where I'm expecting they're
- 8:18Speaker 2: gonna have to put up points to keep up with
- 8:19Speaker 2: golf in the Lions offense, like just take advantage of
- 8:22Speaker 2: the matchup and throw the ball to Kyle Pitts. But
- 8:25Speaker 2: I'm very fearful that come Monday, we're gonna be like, Wow,
- 8:28Speaker 2: John Smith one hundred yards this week.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Huh. Look, there's a reason that on NFL Fantasy Live
- 8:34Speaker 1: I called Mac Collins a sleeper because that's sort of
- 8:36Speaker 1: how it's gone. They are throwing the ball occasionally, they're
- 8:39Speaker 1: just not throwing it to Kyle Pitts. But this is it.
- 8:41Speaker 1: We have all united as one across the fantasy social
- 8:44Speaker 1: media landscape. We are holding hands and lighting candles and
- 8:46Speaker 1: singing songs of hope for Kyle Pitts. We're gonna we're
- 8:49Speaker 1: gonna start like a GoFundMe or something for targets. If
- 8:52Speaker 1: this doesn't work out, I him off of the Falcons.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Just what I want, Help me, help you sort of thing.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Gerald Everett friend of the program since he's the best
- 9:03Speaker 1: basketball player on the Chargers, but you say he shouldn't
- 9:05Speaker 1: be playing in your fantasy lineup this week.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Gerald Everett is an awesome dude, and he is a
- 9:10Speaker 2: good football player. The only issue is he's been splitting
- 9:14Speaker 2: routes and targets with Donald Parham. Last week, Everett only
- 9:19Speaker 2: ran fifteen routes. On the year, he is just six targets.
- 9:24Speaker 2: That's three targets per game. I really like Everett for
- 9:28Speaker 2: a real life standpoint, and I think if you start him,
- 9:31Speaker 2: you're hoping for a long catch or a touchdown. The
- 9:34Speaker 2: volume just hasn't been going his way enough right now
- 9:37Speaker 2: to warrant starting in fantasy.
- 9:39Speaker 1: It's been hard. I mean a lot of places to
- 9:40Speaker 1: go with the football, Gerald Everett not getting that opportunity,
- 9:43Speaker 1: and Donald Parham seeing a lot more snaps so far
- 9:46Speaker 1: this year. Time now for a segment we call how
- 9:49Speaker 1: we Feel and we'll rip through some guys we're getting
- 9:51Speaker 1: asked about on social media and let you know if
- 9:53Speaker 1: they should be in your lineups this week. So let's
- 9:55Speaker 1: start Kareem Hunt reunited with the Cleveland Browns taking on
- 9:58Speaker 1: the Tennessee Titans. Kevin Fancy says he will play how
- 10:02Speaker 1: you feeling about him.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Hunt is someone that I want on my rosters, but
- 10:06Speaker 2: not in my starting lineups.
- 10:07Speaker 1: One.
- 10:08Speaker 2: It's a hard matchup against the Titans. I am anticipating
- 10:10Speaker 2: Jerome Ford to continue to be the lead back for Cleveland.
- 10:14Speaker 2: I want to see how much work Kareem Hunt is
- 10:16Speaker 2: going to get. I kind of need to see it
- 10:18Speaker 2: before I get him in my lineup.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Well, and so that then brings us to Jerome Ford,
- 10:23Speaker 1: who right now is the lead running back there in
- 10:25Speaker 1: Cleveland going against those same Titans. I think you start him,
- 10:29Speaker 1: but mostly based on volume. As Florio mentioned, the matchup
- 10:32Speaker 1: is not great. The Titans run defense has been shutting
- 10:34Speaker 1: people down for the last couple of seasons. This isn't
- 10:36Speaker 1: a new thing, so in that respect, I don't love it,
- 10:39Speaker 1: But I do think he gets the majority of the
- 10:41Speaker 1: work and volume is so key for running back, so
- 10:43Speaker 1: I think that's the reason you have Jerome Ford. But
- 10:45Speaker 1: for me, he's a low end RB two at best.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Let's get nuts. Taysom Hill tight end, slash quarterback, slash
- 10:53Speaker 1: jack of all trades. What do you feel about him
- 10:55Speaker 1: against the Packers?
- 10:56Speaker 2: I think you should be starting him if you are
- 10:58Speaker 2: have been streaming tight ends or anything like that. Look,
- 11:01Speaker 2: they are super banged up at running back this week.
- 11:03Speaker 2: They are going to use a bunch of design runs
- 11:06Speaker 2: with Taysom Hill. I would not be surprised. In fact,
- 11:08Speaker 2: I am expecting him to be the goal line runner
- 11:11Speaker 2: for this team. He led them last week with seventy
- 11:13Speaker 2: five rushing yards, which for a tight end seven and
- 11:16Speaker 2: a half points is a pretty good day. Adding a
- 11:18Speaker 2: touchdown there we're talking about him maybe being a top
- 11:20Speaker 2: five tight end.
- 11:21Speaker 1: It doesn't take much to be a top ten tight
- 11:23Speaker 1: end in fantasy football this season. DeAndre Swift in Tampa
- 11:28Speaker 1: going against the Buccaneers on Monday Night, I think you
- 11:30Speaker 1: can start him. Now. What I think is going to
- 11:33Speaker 1: happen is that he's not going to be as bad
- 11:34Speaker 1: as he was in Week one. He's not going to
- 11:36Speaker 1: be as great as he was in Week two. Keep
- 11:39Speaker 1: an eye out on Kenneth gain Well because there is
- 11:41Speaker 1: a chance he could come back to play, so that's
- 11:43Speaker 1: something worth monitoring. But I do think he's worth a
- 11:46Speaker 1: start just because he does seem to be the most
- 11:49Speaker 1: talented back. He looks like the most talented back in
- 11:51Speaker 1: that Eagles backfield. I think this is going to be
- 11:53Speaker 1: a high scoring game, so I would give DeAndre Swift
- 11:55Speaker 1: some opportunities as a flex. Been a rough go for
- 11:59Speaker 1: just the fields. He was getting ripped for allegedly throwing
- 12:02Speaker 1: his coaches under the bus. Now he's got the Chiefs.
- 12:04Speaker 1: How you feel about him?
- 12:05Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know why you're ripping the guy
- 12:07Speaker 2: when he's just saying the truth. And at first, coming
- 12:10Speaker 2: into this week, I was like, I guess you gotta
- 12:12Speaker 2: give Justin Fields one more chance. Then he said this,
- 12:15Speaker 2: My goal is to go out there this week, say
- 12:17Speaker 2: fit and play football the way I know how to
- 12:20Speaker 2: play football. And I'm like, we're getting running Justin Fields back.
- 12:23Speaker 2: We're getting de throws from Justin Fields, especially in a
- 12:25Speaker 2: game where they're gonna have to put up points to
- 12:27Speaker 2: keep up with the Chiefs. If you drafted Justin Fields,
- 12:29Speaker 2: I give him another chance.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Hold the line with Justin Fields, even if you don't
- 12:32Speaker 1: want to play him this week, don't drop him. Tank
- 12:34Speaker 1: Dell against the Jaguars. When you heard Florio talk about
- 12:37Speaker 1: Nico Collins, I threw in that I like Tank Dell.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna stick with that. I like Tank Dell. CIJ.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Stroud has thrown the ball ninety one times in the
- 12:44Speaker 1: first two games. This team is constantly trailing. They are
- 12:47Speaker 1: very pass happy. Tank Dell's showing that he can get
- 12:49Speaker 1: open and earn targets. I think this is going to
- 12:51Speaker 1: be another throw fest for the Texans this week, and
- 12:54Speaker 1: so I think Tank Dell very much in play, especially
- 12:57Speaker 1: in deeper leagues. We are not done yet. We gotta
- 13:00Speaker 1: talk some running backs. Plus we're gonna get our fineries on.
- 13:03Speaker 1: We're gonna go to Club dub that's coming up after
- 13:06Speaker 1: this break here on the startum sit them show, all right, Floria,
- 13:14Speaker 1: Let's talk some start sit running back? Shall we?
- 13:17Speaker 2: Travis Etn because Texans Raheem Mostert, who has been awesome, key,
- 13:22Speaker 2: I Ran Williams. How we are saying yea from now on?
- 13:25Speaker 2: Brian Robinson Junior in a good matchup, and I think
- 13:28Speaker 2: Naj Harris is in play again this week?
- 13:31Speaker 1: Some sits.
- 13:32Speaker 2: I don't want to start running backs against the Cowboys,
- 13:34Speaker 2: which means James Connor, Damian Pierce unfortunately, is they sit
- 13:37Speaker 2: Dalvin Cook. I'm sticking with Rashad White as a sit
- 13:41Speaker 2: and AJ Dillon in a tough matchup against the Saints.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Let's dive into some of these guys individually. Let's go
- 13:46Speaker 1: with the aforementioned Kian Williams, who looked great. He basically
- 13:49Speaker 1: made Cam Akers expendable in Los Angeles. That's why cam
- 13:52Speaker 1: Akers was traded to Minnesota the Bengals. Look, the defense
- 13:59Speaker 1: is good, at least on pay, but you still have
- 14:00Speaker 1: faith in Williams this week.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Getting traded from LA to Minnesota right before the winter
- 14:04Speaker 2: is Rough's right, But for Williams, it only means good things.
- 14:09Speaker 2: I mean he played ninety six percent of the snaps
- 14:11Speaker 2: last week. He had the hardest possible matchup for a
- 14:14Speaker 2: running back. He went out and he gave you one
- 14:16Speaker 2: hundred yards, two touchdowns all and twenty eight fantasy points,
- 14:20Speaker 2: a whole boatload of him. Now he gets the Bengals,
- 14:22Speaker 2: who allowed these second most rushing yards in the league.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Williams is a must start option moving forward.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Darrean Williams has looked fantastic and getting so much the
- 14:31Speaker 1: passing game work too, which definitely boosts his overall opportunities.
- 14:35Speaker 1: James Connor he's, I think, universally been the only cardinal
- 14:38Speaker 1: people have any faith in. But this is one where
- 14:41Speaker 1: if you can get away from him, I guess you
- 14:42Speaker 1: probably should.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Yeah. I love James Connor coming into the season. He's
- 14:46Speaker 2: been reliable the first two weeks. This is all about
- 14:48Speaker 2: the matchup. In Week one against Saquon Barkley, the Cowboys
- 14:52Speaker 2: limited him to sixty three total yards and less than
- 14:55Speaker 2: ten fantasy points, and then last week against the Jets
- 14:58Speaker 2: a very talented backfield, they held all three of their
- 15:02Speaker 2: running backs to a combined three point two fantasy points
- 15:05Speaker 2: combined Breeze Hall, Dalvin Cook, Michael Carter. Look, on the year,
- 15:10Speaker 2: they've allowed eighty nine rushing yards to running backs, and
- 15:13Speaker 2: this is a game where I think the Cowboys will
- 15:15Speaker 2: be playing with from ahead, which means a lot of throwing.
- 15:17Speaker 2: If you start James Connor, I think you're just kind
- 15:19Speaker 2: of hoping for some dump off passes.
- 15:21Speaker 1: I'm starting James Connor, and I'm just hoping for passes.
- 15:25Speaker 1: It me James Connor Fantasy manager. Damian Pierce. This is
- 15:29Speaker 1: the guy that I am embarrassed on how many teams
- 15:32Speaker 1: I have him on and it has not been good
- 15:35Speaker 1: so far. I'm telling people don't drop Damian Pierce, but
- 15:37Speaker 1: you can't start him at this point.
- 15:39Speaker 2: That's exactly where I'm at with him, except for in
- 15:41Speaker 2: our Fantasy Live league, where my backups are Dalvin Cook
- 15:44Speaker 2: and Alvin Kamara. I gotta start him there. But right now,
- 15:48Speaker 2: it's not a Damian Pierce problem. It is a Texans
- 15:50Speaker 2: offensive line problem. They were without four starters last week,
- 15:54Speaker 2: and Damian Pierce on the year has more yards after
- 15:57Speaker 2: contact than rushing yards, which means every single play he's
- 16:01Speaker 2: getting hit behind the line of scrimmage and just fighting
- 16:04Speaker 2: not to lose yards. And then the past game usage
- 16:07Speaker 2: has not been what we were anticipating it would be.
- 16:11Speaker 2: And right now on the year, the Jacks have allowed
- 16:13Speaker 2: less than one hundred rushing yards two running backs. It's
- 16:16Speaker 2: a bad matchup. The on line is in shambles. I
- 16:19Speaker 2: would just like you said, you don't drop him, but
- 16:22Speaker 2: you said.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I think better days are coming. But right now it's
- 16:24Speaker 1: just not time to put him in the until we
- 16:26Speaker 1: see something. He's probably best left on your fantasy bench. Meanwhile,
- 16:30Speaker 1: guys who are not going to be on the bench,
- 16:32Speaker 1: they're gonna be having party in a club, a club,
- 16:35Speaker 1: the players of the week, the guys we guarantee you
- 16:37Speaker 1: will score twenty five or more fantasy points. And you
- 16:40Speaker 1: got the Cleveland Brown to getting into the club.
- 16:43Speaker 2: I don't know if the Cleveland Brown has scored twenty
- 16:45Speaker 2: five points in a game yet this season.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, but the.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Air horns are bad. Start a Mauri Cooper. I think
- 16:51Speaker 2: he goes off this week. Look, last week we did
- 16:54Speaker 2: not know if he was even going to suit up.
- 16:56Speaker 2: He gave you ten targets, seven catches, and ninety yards.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Now he gets the Titans, who struggle mightily against receivers,
- 17:03Speaker 2: but especially at those who could win downfield. Line up
- 17:06Speaker 2: out wide, that is exactly what Amari Cooper is, and
- 17:09Speaker 2: they're great at stopping the run. I think this is
- 17:11Speaker 2: a week where Watson's gonna have to earn that contract
- 17:14Speaker 2: and he's gonna have to do so by throwing it
- 17:16Speaker 2: to Marik Cooper.
- 17:16Speaker 1: And right now, Amari Cooper's been the only wide receiver
- 17:19Speaker 1: you can trust in that Browns offense through the first
- 17:22Speaker 1: two weeks. For me, we keep talking about how we
- 17:24Speaker 1: expect the Chargers and Vikings to be a score fest.
- 17:27Speaker 1: So look, Justin Jefferson is frequently in the club right
- 17:30Speaker 1: Like I mean, people just see him, they already open
- 17:32Speaker 1: the gates, they give him bottle service, the whole thing. Well,
- 17:35Speaker 1: I think he is going to be just you know,
- 17:37Speaker 1: lighting sparklers and making it rain all up in club
- 17:39Speaker 1: dub this week against the Los Angeles Chargers, we are
- 17:42Speaker 1: expecting a lot of points. We're expecting both quarterbacks to
- 17:45Speaker 1: go big, whether it's Kirk Cousins or Justin Herbert, and
- 17:49Speaker 1: Justin Jefferson is the number one target. I think I
- 17:52Speaker 1: don't know that Jordan Natison gets into the club. Maybe
- 17:56Speaker 1: Justin Jefferson sneaks him in through the back door, but
- 17:58Speaker 1: he's certainly gonna be hanging around there, may be trying
- 18:00Speaker 1: to see if he can get himself a free drink
- 18:02Speaker 1: or anything, for sure. But Justin Jefferson popping bottles, buying
- 18:05Speaker 1: out the bar at Club Dub this week.
- 18:07Speaker 2: It's like in Goodfellas. When he shows up, they just
- 18:09Speaker 2: take him right through the background the kitchen. They have
- 18:11Speaker 2: the table right set up front because Justin Jefferson's there.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Every every single week. They just know. They get like
- 18:16Speaker 1: the somebody tries to sit at the table, they're like,
- 18:18Speaker 1: excuse me, sir, that's reserved for mister Jefferson. You're gonna
- 18:21Speaker 1: have to leave. That's just how it works with Justin Jefferson.
- 18:23Speaker 1: They're at Club Dub anyway. That's gonna do it for us.
- 18:26Speaker 1: We're gonna go and get our relax on somewhere else.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Hopefully you will as well. That'll do it for this
- 18:31Speaker 1: edition of the Start of Tim Show. He is Florio.
- 18:33Speaker 1: I am Marcus. Enjoy week three, everybody. We'll talk to
- 18:35Speaker 1: you again real soon.
