- 0:23Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:28Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley along with
- 0:31Speaker 1: Trey Trendholm. On Tuesday, April fifteenth, two thousand twenty five.
- 0:38Speaker 1: It is tax Day. I hope it's not a brutal
- 0:41Speaker 1: day for you, but if it is, we'll make your
- 0:43Speaker 1: day just a little bit better. And part of the
- 0:45Speaker 1: way we're going to do that today is by welcoming
- 0:48Speaker 1: in our dear, dear friend and today's special guest from
- 0:52Speaker 1: Mixed one or two point Nine's All New Morning show.
- 0:56Speaker 1: This is Billy the Kid.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Yeah, what's up? What's what's up? All new forever, It's
- 1:01Speaker 2: always going to be.
- 1:02Speaker 1: New, all new, always in forever, always new. The new
- 1:06Speaker 1: Mix one. I keep getting lost in all the points.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Is it Mixed one O two nine or Mix one
- 1:13Speaker 1: or two point nine?
- 1:15Speaker 2: You can say Mix one or two point nine. That
- 1:16Speaker 2: works for me.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Spoken like a non program director.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Right exactly, I'm like sure, now, I mean, if you
- 1:23Speaker 3: as long as you're saying some I'm cool with it.
- 1:25Speaker 2: At this point, like let's go, you know.
- 1:27Speaker 1: I feel you speaking of let's go. I'm gonna well
- 1:32Speaker 1: hang on before we get into talking a little bit
- 1:35Speaker 1: more about you and what you've got going on. There
- 1:39Speaker 1: was massive news recently that we have not had a
- 1:42Speaker 1: chance to cover inside the treehouse yet, and I feel
- 1:46Speaker 1: like Billy, you'll be able to offer some outstanding insights
- 1:49Speaker 1: to this as well. All Right, all right, I'm going
- 1:53Speaker 1: to share with you. I'm going to share with you
- 1:55Speaker 1: a piece of audio, and I want you to see
- 1:58Speaker 1: if you can guess what is happening that is making
- 2:01Speaker 1: this crowd so so excited.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Okay, here we go.
- 2:08Speaker 1: What's that sound for Tuesday, April fifteen, twenty twenty five.
- 2:24Speaker 1: All right, I'm gonna play that for you one more time.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Say if you can gather your guesses as to what
- 2:29Speaker 1: do you think transpired to drive that crowd so crazy? Ooh,
- 2:44Speaker 1: I know it's a tough one. Now, I want you
- 2:46Speaker 1: to know that I in no way expect you to
- 2:49Speaker 1: guess correctly. Okay, good, But I do expect you to guess.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Okay, I think it was someone flashing the crowd at
- 2:57Speaker 3: a baseball game.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Okay, that is wrong.
- 3:10Speaker 4: Terra's reaction after using you using your new hemorrhoid cream.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Well, first of all, that's wrong. Second of all, that's
- 3:24Speaker 1: really wrong, and third and most importantly you Trey. So
- 3:34Speaker 1: what happened to drive this crowd crazy? I will show you.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Mm hmmm. That is a man in New Zealand successfully
- 3:51Speaker 1: folding a sheet.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Wow is that a fitted sheet?
- 3:56Speaker 5: Yes?
- 3:57Speaker 1: Okay, well yeah, absolutely, that's a hero right there watching
- 4:08Speaker 1: and the crowd goes wild.
- 4:11Speaker 3: He deserves all the applause for that, all of them.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Good for him. What is that though?
- 4:16Speaker 4: Is that that's like the death metal dap?
- 4:20Speaker 1: Yeah, he is doing sort of that Jake Paul DAPT
- 4:24Speaker 1: thing whatever that was, whatever that was called. But yeah, this,
- 4:27Speaker 1: this is truly astonishing. A New Zealand man successfully folded
- 4:31Speaker 1: a fitted sheet in front of thousands.
- 4:34Speaker 2: That's amazing.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Good for him. I still don't know how to do it.
- 4:37Speaker 3: I couldn't do it if you put a gun to
- 4:38Speaker 3: my head. Right now, I'm smashing it in a ball
- 4:41Speaker 3: into my closet. That's how it goes in, and I
- 4:44Speaker 3: don't care.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I have watched numerous videos online on how to fold
- 4:48Speaker 1: a fitted sheet. I've watched them on YouTube, I've watched
- 4:50Speaker 1: them on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or whatever it's called. Today
- 4:55Speaker 1: I'm about halfway there on a good day, really, and
- 4:59Speaker 1: I don't need help. I can't do it by myself.
- 5:01Speaker 1: That's just ridiculous.
- 5:03Speaker 3: I'm actually impressed you're even attempting it, because I think
- 5:05Speaker 3: it's witchcraft. So I don't even attempt it. I'm not
- 5:08Speaker 3: even doing it. I don't even care half the time.
- 5:11Speaker 3: I'm just excited. If I have clean sheets, so cool whatever,
- 5:14Speaker 3: I'm definitely not folding them.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I feel like saying I can fold the fitted sheet
- 5:19Speaker 1: is right up there with being a Chuck norrisism. Yep,
- 5:23Speaker 1: like him being able to slam a revolving door. You know,
- 5:26Speaker 1: Chuck Norris could fold the fitted sheet. I also feel
- 5:30Speaker 1: like I don't know if what your relationship status is
- 5:33Speaker 1: right now, Billy, but Trey is in a long term
- 5:36Speaker 1: relationship with his Chihuahua Daisy, and I don't think. I
- 5:40Speaker 1: don't think she's much help with doing laundry other than
- 5:44Speaker 1: just you know, sleeping on it. But I feel very
- 5:47Speaker 1: strongly that if on your dating profile on Hinge or
- 5:51Speaker 1: whatever the new one is, if you've put on there,
- 5:54Speaker 1: I can fold the fitted sheet. I think you're gonna
- 5:56Speaker 1: get dates.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Oh yeah, well, I don't know. It might scare me,
- 6:00Speaker 2: like you know I'm single.
- 6:01Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no, I'm not saying you're scouring and
- 6:05Speaker 1: you see a woman's profile that says I can full
- 6:07Speaker 1: a fitted sheet. I'm saying your profile if you're single
- 6:11Speaker 1: and you're on the apps, I think on your headline
- 6:15Speaker 1: Billy or tray, if you put on there, I can
- 6:17Speaker 1: fold a fitted sheet. I think you'll be swimming in dates.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I think you're right. I think you're right.
- 6:23Speaker 4: I mean, why not put on there that I've got
- 6:26Speaker 4: a McLaren and a big crank. Those are true either,
- 6:32Speaker 4: but hey, put it.
- 6:34Speaker 2: All on there.
- 6:38Speaker 6: It's like.
- 6:41Speaker 5: This is onlinereuse on air dot com.
- 6:44Speaker 1: It's like two lies in the truth, except in Trey's case,
- 6:48Speaker 1: they're just all lies. Eight three three Cook df W.
- 6:55Speaker 1: That's the phone number you will need to call, Daniel
- 6:57Speaker 1: Cook from Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration website cookdfw dot com. Daniel,
- 7:02Speaker 1: the majority of the conversations you and I have had
- 7:04Speaker 1: have been about residential services that you offer, but you
- 7:08Speaker 1: guys also do commercial work.
- 7:10Speaker 6: That's absolutely correct, Dan, So we do commercial roofing and
- 7:13Speaker 6: it comes in all shapes and sizes as well. We've
- 7:16Speaker 6: done application sizes all the way up to seventy five
- 7:18Speaker 6: thousand square feed all the way down to one thousand
- 7:21Speaker 6: square feeds. But the main thing that we're really trying
- 7:25Speaker 6: to do right now with business owners is give them
- 7:27Speaker 6: some options other than replacement, because a lot of roots
- 7:30Speaker 6: get to that fifteen twenty year old line in the
- 7:33Speaker 6: commercial industry and a lot of business owners thinking they're
- 7:37Speaker 6: going to have to completely replace the roof, which could
- 7:39Speaker 6: be hundreds of thousands of dollars. And so we are
- 7:43Speaker 6: partner with CertainTeed and they are trained us on how
- 7:48Speaker 6: to do a coding type of repair to these commercial
- 7:51Speaker 6: roots and it's giving them another ten fifteen years on
- 7:56Speaker 6: the original roof for a fraction of the cost. And
- 7:59Speaker 6: on top of that, they get to write this off
- 8:01Speaker 6: in their taxes. It's one hundred percent writeable off as
- 8:05Speaker 6: a repair and a maintenance SIDEM. So it's it's a
- 8:08Speaker 6: it goes both ways. It helps a business owner with
- 8:11Speaker 6: the repair, it helps them financially. It gives them a
- 8:14Speaker 6: longevity factor on their on their building that now they
- 8:17Speaker 6: don't have to worry about having leaks coming inside and
- 8:20Speaker 6: penny pinching repairs every six months for thousands of dollars.
- 8:24Speaker 1: And you guys are working on a project right now
- 8:26Speaker 1: helping out a business.
- 8:28Speaker 6: Absolutely working on a very big project in McKenney. Probably
- 8:32Speaker 6: when we get closer to getting it done, we're going
- 8:34Speaker 6: to be putting some pictures on our website educations and
- 8:37Speaker 6: folks about it and showing them the difference of what
- 8:39Speaker 6: that looks like.
- 8:41Speaker 1: So give Daniel and is a very excellent team a
- 8:43Speaker 1: call today for your residential and commercial roofing needs. Eight
- 8:47Speaker 1: threty three cook DFW or the website cookdfw dot com.
- 8:59Speaker 7: You're in the Treehouse, visit us online at Treehouseonair dot com.
- 9:07Speaker 1: This segment of the Treehouse is brought to you by
- 9:09Speaker 1: COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration to get your free roof inspection
- 9:13Speaker 1: called eight three three cook DFW. Why is that roof
- 9:15Speaker 1: inspection so important? Because you want to see if your
- 9:18Speaker 1: roof held up from the last storm and if it's
- 9:21Speaker 1: going to be okay for the next one eight three
- 9:24Speaker 1: three cook DFW for your free roof inspection, or go
- 9:27Speaker 1: to the website cookdfw dot com. This is the Treehouse Show.
- 9:32Speaker 1: I'm Daniel Maley, he is Tree Trenulm and inside the
- 9:35Speaker 1: Treehouse Today special guest Billy the Kid from the All
- 9:39Speaker 1: New Mixed one O two nine morning show Billy the
- 9:41Speaker 1: Kids Show in Dallas. By the way, so if you're
- 9:43Speaker 1: running through the DFW, that is that is that is
- 9:46Speaker 1: one of the morning shows we highly recommend right here
- 9:49Speaker 1: inside the Treehouse show.
- 9:50Speaker 2: I appreciate that absolutely.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Of course. Let me give you a little more context
- 9:56Speaker 1: a little Let me give you a little more the
- 9:57Speaker 1: backstory about the guy in New Zealand who folded a
- 10:00Speaker 1: fitted sheet successfully in front of thousands. His name is
- 10:04Speaker 1: Dan Berman. I believe I'm saying that right. He's a
- 10:07Speaker 1: comedian and he did this street stunt folding a fitted
- 10:12Speaker 1: sheet as a way to promote his new tour titled
- 10:16Speaker 1: Dan Berman Folds a fitted Sheet on his own. Ah,
- 10:22Speaker 1: so he's got this. Yeah, he's promoting his upcoming Australia
- 10:26Speaker 1: and New Zealand tour, Dan Berman folds a fitted sheet
- 10:30Speaker 1: on his own, which is a great way to get attention,
- 10:35Speaker 1: which it worked. Thousands of people showed up to watch
- 10:38Speaker 1: him do this, and now he'll be able to sell
- 10:40Speaker 1: more tickets to his shows on the upcoming tour. And
- 10:43Speaker 1: by the way, if you ever wanted to do any
- 10:45Speaker 1: sort of a performance, art, bus, skiing, or just get
- 10:49Speaker 1: some attention, I don't think you will find a more
- 10:52Speaker 1: supportive community than Australia and New Zealand because this is
- 10:56Speaker 1: the same place where I think they did. They've broken
- 10:58Speaker 1: world records by the most number of people playing air
- 11:02Speaker 1: guitar at the same time. I think they had like
- 11:05Speaker 1: a few hundred people playing ac DC in the same
- 11:09Speaker 1: park at the same time. Really, if you want community support,
- 11:13Speaker 1: Australia New Zealand is the place to go for it.
- 11:16Speaker 3: It'd be hard to get people to show up to
- 11:19Speaker 3: do that here.
- 11:19Speaker 2: I think. I don't know what Australia is doing, but
- 11:21Speaker 2: they show love.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean you do this in Austin, you're just
- 11:25Speaker 1: another homeless guy.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Yeah, you're just a guy that looks yeah, or just
- 11:29Speaker 3: someone who's employed and just doing It's because at the
- 11:31Speaker 3: same time everybody looks homeless in Austin.
- 11:34Speaker 1: That is also true. Yeah, it's hard to tell the
- 11:36Speaker 1: difference in Austin between a homeless guy and a software developer.
- 11:40Speaker 2: From me, I can't I can't tell all the same.
- 11:43Speaker 1: All right, Billy, we said we were going to talk
- 11:45Speaker 1: about you a little bit today, So here's what we're
- 11:46Speaker 1: gonna do. My first question for you, and I don't
- 11:49Speaker 1: know why it's taken me, you know, the twenty something
- 11:52Speaker 1: years that we've all known each other to ask you
- 11:54Speaker 1: this question. But why are there two d's in kid
- 11:57Speaker 1: in your name?
- 11:59Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 12:02Speaker 2: That's a good question.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Well, you know what's funny is when I first got
- 12:05Speaker 3: to Dallas, they were gonna they did We didn't know my.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Name, they were making up a name.
- 12:11Speaker 3: The program director was like, well, the first suggestion was
- 12:15Speaker 3: because I was an intern in Detroit where I started,
- 12:18Speaker 3: so they were like calling me Billy the intern. But
- 12:20Speaker 3: they're like, we don't want to call you an intern.
- 12:21Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, but I was real young, so they
- 12:24Speaker 3: would just call me. Oh, dude, they have that one
- 12:25Speaker 3: kid do it. The program director in Dallas goes, how
- 12:28Speaker 3: about this and the first thing he wanted to call
- 12:30Speaker 3: me was Desperado.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Oh and you are a Desperado.
- 12:37Speaker 2: I freaking am dude.
- 12:40Speaker 1: That you're the Desperado of Dallas Radio.
- 12:43Speaker 2: I immediately was like, please, don't please?
- 12:46Speaker 1: Would that have been would that have been too close
- 12:47Speaker 1: to Domino from Kiss FM?
- 12:49Speaker 3: Though it would have been too close to awful? But yes,
- 12:54Speaker 3: I was like, why Desperado? And he's like, I just
- 12:57Speaker 3: think it sounds cool. And then you know he's liked, well,
- 13:00Speaker 3: your real name's Billy, what about just Billy the kid?
- 13:03Speaker 3: And I was like, okay, cool, And the next thing,
- 13:05Speaker 3: I know, that's what it was. I didn't really have
- 13:07Speaker 3: much say in it. And yeah, I don't know why
- 13:11Speaker 3: they spelled it. I never had a choice on anything,
- 13:13Speaker 3: because when I first got this business, I just didn't
- 13:15Speaker 3: know anything about anything.
- 13:16Speaker 2: I didn't even know how to negotiate a contract. I
- 13:18Speaker 2: didn't I just was like, what are you paying me again? Okay?
- 13:20Speaker 5: Cool?
- 13:21Speaker 2: I was stupid. So yeah, and they just had two
- 13:24Speaker 2: d's in there. I don't know why.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Weird because because uh, because kid Cratick, May he rest
- 13:30Speaker 1: in peace. Yeah, he also had two d's in kid.
- 13:34Speaker 1: So the only the only common thing I can come
- 13:36Speaker 1: up with is that people in radio just can't spell.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Yeah, we just can't spell. We just do whatever or
- 13:41Speaker 2: you know what that might be.
- 13:42Speaker 3: You just might have got it, honestly, because I was
- 13:45Speaker 3: on a station going against kiss.
- 13:46Speaker 2: I bet you they did it to.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Just do like you know, probably just call it like
- 13:51Speaker 3: oh just spell like crowd expells his name.
- 13:53Speaker 2: I bet you any that was probably it.
- 13:55Speaker 1: And you know what's interesting because this this will go
- 13:57Speaker 1: some interesting, uh behind the scene radio type stuff, because
- 14:01Speaker 1: you already heard a little nugget of that with Billy
- 14:03Speaker 1: on how they wanted to give him like this radio
- 14:04Speaker 1: name when he comes to town. Right. There was a
- 14:07Speaker 1: great story when we were all working at CBS Radio.
- 14:10Speaker 1: We were at Live one oh five to three or
- 14:12Speaker 1: whatever it was called at this moment in time that
- 14:15Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you about, and you were doing
- 14:19Speaker 1: i think after noons on Hot one hundred.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's and.
- 14:26Speaker 1: That's when our buddy Greg slash Jake slash Adam Smasher
- 14:31Speaker 1: came in to do nights. And the reason why they
- 14:34Speaker 1: called him Adam Smasher was because there was another guy
- 14:38Speaker 1: that was supposed to be coming into the market, I
- 14:41Speaker 1: think from Houston, who was already known as Adam Smasher.
- 14:45Speaker 1: And what you can do is you can earmark with
- 14:48Speaker 1: the ratings services certain names. But it only works in
- 14:51Speaker 1: one market to the other. It doesn't work across the country.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Right.
- 14:54Speaker 1: So if someone's writing down in their little book, well
- 14:57Speaker 1: I listened to Adam Smasher, whoever's first in the book
- 15:00Speaker 1: with it gets the credit. So our buddy Greg, I'm
- 15:04Speaker 1: pretty sure his name is actually Greg, because I've known
- 15:06Speaker 1: him by like five different names in radio.
- 15:07Speaker 5: It is.
- 15:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:10Speaker 1: They dubbed him Adam Smasher so they could block the
- 15:13Speaker 1: actual Adam Smasher from Houston to come to town.
- 15:15Speaker 2: And it worked. It worked.
- 15:17Speaker 3: I remember exactly when we were in the office with
- 15:19Speaker 3: I think it was me and John Cook or something,
- 15:21Speaker 3: and we actually we changed a couple of people's names
- 15:25Speaker 3: in that business back then because we thought that Kiss
- 15:28Speaker 3: was going to hire him to do knights or whatever,
- 15:30Speaker 3: and we were like, just change whoever, this guy is
- 15:33Speaker 3: a part timer, you know. And they were great people,
- 15:36Speaker 3: but and they were just like, okay, it was like
- 15:39Speaker 3: what you did in radio.
- 15:40Speaker 2: But yeah, how funny is that.
- 15:41Speaker 1: That's exactly what changed his name, and poor Greg, Like
- 15:46Speaker 1: I mean it, I didn't know his name was Greg
- 15:48Speaker 1: until like by the fourth name he used on the air,
- 15:50Speaker 1: because he was Adam Smasher. Then I think he was
- 15:54Speaker 1: he was Adam Smasher. Then he went to work I
- 15:56Speaker 1: think at the Wolf and they made him Jake Daniels
- 16:00Speaker 1: instead of Jack Daniels.
- 16:01Speaker 5: That's right.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I think he was the first Catfish from Free Beer
- 16:06Speaker 1: and Catfish. I think he was one.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right.
- 16:10Speaker 1: And then and then I knew him when he changed
- 16:12Speaker 1: his name to his actual name, Greg.
- 16:15Speaker 3: And the funniest part is I thought that was his
- 16:17Speaker 3: fake name when he started going by Greg. I'm like,
- 16:19Speaker 3: that's random that he's called himself Greg. Yeah, but that's
- 16:22Speaker 3: it was just really yeah that point. He's a great
- 16:24Speaker 3: guy too, And it's funny because he's been called fifty
- 16:26Speaker 3: things and that's just the nature of this business.
- 16:28Speaker 2: We remember, we changed what's his name for remember Torres?
- 16:33Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Daniel Torres.
- 16:34Speaker 2: We changed his name for a little while to tik.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Tak because we thought there was going to be another
- 16:39Speaker 3: guy coming in named Tiktak, so his name was tick Tack.
- 16:42Speaker 2: We would change people's.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Names, and sometimes you just changed it because you hated him.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Oh yeah, true.
- 16:51Speaker 1: I still think though, I think I think now that
- 16:53Speaker 1: you're an adult, I think Billy the Kid obviously is
- 16:55Speaker 1: what you're known by. But if I think you're right
- 16:58Speaker 1: to switch over to Desperado.
- 17:00Speaker 2: I mean I might.
- 17:01Speaker 3: I'm at the point where I don't care. At this point,
- 17:02Speaker 3: I might go by Desperado.
- 17:04Speaker 1: I think if you if you make the jump over
- 17:06Speaker 1: to a country radio, you got your You got.
- 17:08Speaker 3: Your That's it if I go to country radio, it
- 17:11Speaker 3: is freakin' Desperado.
- 17:14Speaker 2: That is the worst name ever.
- 17:15Speaker 1: If anybody ever called me that, at least you've already
- 17:19Speaker 1: got your own theme music.
- 17:23Speaker 2: I just why do I picture this like weird looking cowboy?
- 17:25Speaker 2: Every time I hear Desperado, it's like.
- 17:27Speaker 1: To me, to me, you as as a cowboy with
- 17:30Speaker 1: a name Desperado, It's Glenn Campbell and you've got sequence
- 17:34Speaker 1: and you love it to night.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Oh that's there's only one way. And who's gonna be
- 17:38Speaker 2: sequined as well? My producer is gonna be sequined. I
- 17:40Speaker 2: don't know what his name is gonna be, but we're
- 17:42Speaker 2: gonna to change that too.
- 17:43Speaker 4: Who is gonna be dressed? And this is a name
- 17:47Speaker 4: very few people are gonna know. You just have to
- 17:48Speaker 4: google it, little Jimmy Dickens. Just google it and you'll
- 17:56Speaker 4: get the joke.
- 17:57Speaker 3: But little Dickens, I don't even have to go. I'll
- 18:01Speaker 3: just say we forget the Jimmy. We'll just call them
- 18:03Speaker 3: little Dickens.
- 18:05Speaker 5: That fits. You're in the Treehouse.

- 18:56Speaker 1: Treehouse TV is on fun clips and such. This is
- 18:59Speaker 1: the Treehouse Show. Oh I'm Dan, He's Trey. Today's special
- 19:01Speaker 1: guest Billy the Kid from y'all New Mixed one A
- 19:05Speaker 1: two nine morning show, Billy the Kids Show with two d's.
- 19:09Speaker 1: We're gonna jump into because it's Tuesday, and we're doing
- 19:11Speaker 1: standard radio nonsense stuff in honor review Billy. So we're
- 19:16Speaker 1: gonna have We're gonna have Treehouse Talkback Tuesday. Because if
- 19:21Speaker 1: there's one thing radio loves to do, it's give dumb
- 19:23Speaker 1: names to on air people. And there's another thing it
- 19:26Speaker 1: likes to do. It loves alliteration, So literation, anything in literation.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Treehouse Talkback Tuesday is coming up in just a moment
- 19:33Speaker 1: before we do that, though you also love teases. You've
- 19:37Speaker 1: been tormenting your kid quite a bit, Billy. Obviously we've
- 19:40Speaker 1: known each other for many years. I hate that. I'm
- 19:43Speaker 1: going to say this out loud, but we knew you
- 19:46Speaker 1: before you were a dad. And the other day you've
- 19:50Speaker 1: posted this great video of I think it was first
- 19:54Speaker 1: thing in the morning. You're waking up your song.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, not.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Doing it in a normal dad way, because you're not
- 20:00Speaker 1: normal dad. You're radio DJ, slash club DJ. So what
- 20:03Speaker 1: does Billy do? He sets up his entire club DJ
- 20:08Speaker 1: equipment setup on his kitchen island when his son's room
- 20:13Speaker 1: is just off the kitchen, right, and he hits play
- 20:17Speaker 1: and starts mixing nightclub stuff that's meant for three am
- 20:21Speaker 1: raves to wake up his kid. And seriously, this is
- 20:25Speaker 1: like the third time you could use the sound effect,
- 20:26Speaker 1: but it's worth it. Well done. That is near level dadding, right.
- 20:30Speaker 2: I appreciate that.
- 20:32Speaker 5: You know.
- 20:32Speaker 2: It was the most obnoxious EDM remix too.
- 20:35Speaker 3: And the backstory about it is because I walk in there.
- 20:38Speaker 3: He used to get up at like six in am
- 20:40Speaker 3: every day, no matter what. Before he was a teenager.
- 20:43Speaker 3: Now he's fourteen. He just turned fourteen, and he's like, Hey,
- 20:46Speaker 3: I'm gonna sleep, and I'm like, bro, we gotta get going.
- 20:48Speaker 2: He's like yeah no, and I was like yeah yes.
- 20:52Speaker 2: He's like no.
- 20:53Speaker 3: I'm like dude, okay, cool. So I just I mean,
- 20:56Speaker 3: you can't tell him the video, but it was so loud.
- 20:58Speaker 3: I had like a huge speakers. I just cranked it.
- 21:02Speaker 3: And he gets so and he's been trying to learn
- 21:04Speaker 3: how to DJ. So he just walks out, all pissed
- 21:06Speaker 3: and decrepit and hits the button to stop it, and
- 21:09Speaker 3: I'm just.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Covered in his comforter. The ironic thing about this is
- 21:16Speaker 1: I've seen you look like that, Billy. It was usually
- 21:20Speaker 1: the morning after you dj' and have a nice day cafe.
- 21:24Speaker 1: His kid writer comes out of the bedroom covered in
- 21:26Speaker 1: a comforter, looking like his dad from twenty plus years ago. Yeah,
- 21:31Speaker 1: after a whole night of DJing and just comes in,
- 21:33Speaker 1: doesn't even have to look for the button, he knows
- 21:36Speaker 1: exactly where off is, slams it, and then just casually
- 21:39Speaker 1: walked back into the room slams the door.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Oh. He was so mad.
- 21:43Speaker 3: He was like, Dad, can you not start my day
- 21:46Speaker 3: that way? And I'm like, I will if you don't
- 21:48Speaker 3: get up the first three times I come in. Next time,
- 21:51Speaker 3: it's gonna be the worst remix ever. Every time it's
- 21:53Speaker 3: only gonna get worse. It's gonna be the worst I mean,
- 21:56Speaker 3: I was air horns. It was just like the most obnoxious,
- 22:00Speaker 3: awful E d M song at eight a m. Yeah,
- 22:02Speaker 3: it was fun, though. I keep Actually, I might make
- 22:04Speaker 3: that a series. I might just have to do that
- 22:06Speaker 3: every every week.
- 22:07Speaker 1: I think you should. It could be it could be
- 22:09Speaker 1: a morning, it could be a bit every single morning,
- 22:12Speaker 1: the song that you woke up righter to.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Torture Tuesdays, I'll just do like a torture. We love alliteration.
- 22:19Speaker 1: It's it's a thing of beauty. It is speaking of
- 22:23Speaker 1: a literation in radio Torture Tuesday. Let's do a little
- 22:26Speaker 1: how would I call it? Because I've already forgotten it
- 22:28Speaker 1: because we never do these types of things inside the Treehouse.
- 22:30Speaker 1: We never have Treehouse Talkback Tuesday, Treehouse Tuesday Talkback, Treo whatever.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Here's messages from listeners.
- 22:41Speaker 8: Mm Fathum ever done any accent other than how he speaks?
- 22:49Speaker 2: I've never heard him do that.
- 22:51Speaker 1: See Billy, we get the we get the highbrow questions
- 22:54Speaker 1: here inside the Treehouse. This is from BC. He's wondering
- 22:57Speaker 1: about Jason Statham. Does he ever do any other accent
- 23:00Speaker 1: besides his own?
- 23:01Speaker 8: Has Jason Statham ever done any accent other than how
- 23:07Speaker 8: he speaks.
- 23:08Speaker 2: I've never heard him do that.
- 23:10Speaker 1: I don't think he does. I've never seen a movie
- 23:12Speaker 1: where Jason Statham tries to go beyond his own actual accent.
- 23:16Speaker 1: And I'm okay with that. I think a lot of
- 23:18Speaker 1: actors see it as a right of passage, being able
- 23:20Speaker 1: to do certain accents. Sometimes it's better off, like you said, Billy,
- 23:24Speaker 1: to stay in your lane.
- 23:25Speaker 3: I kind of like when the like is certain actors
- 23:27Speaker 3: like they only play one character no matter what their
- 23:29Speaker 3: movie in it's always them, Like I kind of thin
- 23:32Speaker 3: gets funny, it's kind of awesome no matter what. Like
- 23:34Speaker 3: Liam Neesim, he only plays one guy. That's it, period.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Liam vince Vaughan was one of the most famous for
- 23:41Speaker 1: doing that. Yep, the man has no range, but he
- 23:44Speaker 1: has a hell of a career.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Exactly get it done? Hey do it?
- 23:48Speaker 5: You know?
- 23:48Speaker 2: Why not?
- 23:50Speaker 8: And also why does he always say his profession in
- 23:56Speaker 8: his movies. I just want to see if y'all have any.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Thoughts on that. This is true. By the way, this
- 24:02Speaker 1: is very true. Like with Jason Statham, his most recent
- 24:05Speaker 1: film a working Man, So that's just a generic job
- 24:09Speaker 1: title for his most recent movie. But if you look
- 24:13Speaker 1: at Jason Statham's filmography on IMDb. It actually sounds a
- 24:16Speaker 1: little bit like a like a resume.
- 24:20Speaker 2: The bee Keeper, okay, bee Keeper.
- 24:25Speaker 1: The mechanic spy Parker. I think that one was his name,
- 24:33Speaker 1: not the occupation. But still, let's see what else. Transporter,
- 24:39Speaker 1: of course.
- 24:40Speaker 2: That's what I was thinking of that. I was thinking
- 24:42Speaker 2: a transporter.
- 24:44Speaker 1: And then Crank. I don't think that one's necessarily a
- 24:47Speaker 1: occupation either, but it's more than action. But yeah, he does.
- 24:50Speaker 1: He does have a lot of movies that just sound
- 24:52Speaker 1: a lot like a resume.
- 24:53Speaker 4: Yeah, what in the hell is going on with you
- 24:56Speaker 4: that you need to you have given that much thought
- 24:59Speaker 4: to Jason Statham?
- 25:02Speaker 1: Are you talking to me or JC? The guy that
- 25:03Speaker 1: called in?
- 25:04Speaker 4: The guy you called in? Okay, good, I knew. I
- 25:07Speaker 4: know you've seen all those movies because some of them
- 25:09Speaker 4: are bad.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Shut up. I've seen Crank. Not only have I seen Crank,
- 25:14Speaker 1: I've seen Crank two.
- 25:15Speaker 2: See.
- 25:16Speaker 3: You know what's funny is people make fun of me
- 25:17Speaker 3: on the show all the time because and actually we
- 25:19Speaker 3: just did a whole event at this theater because you know,
- 25:22Speaker 3: I'm famous for not seeing any movies, like I haven't
- 25:25Speaker 3: seen some of the biggest movies ever. And they made
- 25:28Speaker 3: fun of me so hard because I'd never watched Titanic
- 25:31Speaker 3: in my life ever. And we rented a movie theater
- 25:35Speaker 3: and we all watched it with a bunch of listeners
- 25:37Speaker 3: and they were laughing. But then they started going through
- 25:38Speaker 3: a list of things I haven't seen, and it was
- 25:40Speaker 3: it's embarrassing. I almost feel like And now people I
- 25:43Speaker 3: see people in public, they're like, dude, how did you
- 25:46Speaker 3: never watch Jurassic Park? And I was like, I don't know.
- 25:49Speaker 3: I just never watched movies. I never turned my TV on,
- 25:52Speaker 3: never went to the movies. I'm just so WEIRDO.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Not to sound like everybody else, but you've never seen
- 25:59Speaker 1: Jurassic Park.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Dude, There's so many movies I haven't seen. You'd be ashamed.
- 26:03Speaker 3: I've never seen Star Wars, I've never seen Jurassic Park.
- 26:07Speaker 3: I've know what else people always make fun of me about.
- 26:09Speaker 3: I've never seen. The only movies I think I've seen
- 26:12Speaker 3: are Shawshank Redemption.
- 26:15Speaker 1: I don't know if that counts, because I think everyone
- 26:17Speaker 1: seen Shawshank not necessarily because of their own free will.
- 26:21Speaker 1: It's because the remote got stuck on TBS or TNT
- 26:24Speaker 1: and it's all.
- 26:25Speaker 2: That's why I've seen it.
- 26:26Speaker 3: That's exactly why I've seen it, because it comes on
- 26:28Speaker 3: and I'm like, okay, I'll watch this.
- 26:31Speaker 1: So you've seen a lot of Gilmore Girls.
- 26:33Speaker 3: I've never seen Gilmore girls. No, but I do like
- 26:36Speaker 3: really girly shows. I'm not gonna lie like I do.
- 26:39Speaker 3: I will watch.
- 26:40Speaker 2: But I grew up. All I would watch is Cops.
- 26:42Speaker 2: That's all I got. If Cops was on Cops Marathon,
- 26:44Speaker 2: I'd never change the TV.
- 26:45Speaker 1: That's just because to you, those were home movies.
- 26:47Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying exactly.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Hey, it's it's cousin Todd.

- 27:44Speaker 1: Billy the Kid Today from The Billy the Kids Show
- 27:47Speaker 1: on the All New Mixed one or two point nine
- 27:48Speaker 1: mornings in Dallas. Oh, we need to get back to
- 27:53Speaker 1: uh talkback Tuesday to Treehouse something along.
- 27:56Speaker 10: The Hey guys, first time all her longtime listener. I
- 28:03Speaker 10: was just listening to birthdays on the Val Kilmer Memorial
- 28:07Speaker 10: and you guys started with Amanda vines that you guys
- 28:11Speaker 10: haven't known what she's been up to. I recommend that
- 28:14Speaker 10: you just google and see where she's at and how
- 28:17Speaker 10: she's changed her lifestyle as of recently. I think y'all
- 28:24Speaker 10: will get a kick out of it.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Trey Billy, have you are you caught up on the
- 28:32Speaker 1: life story of Amanda Binds?
- 28:34Speaker 2: I know a little bit about it.
- 28:36Speaker 3: The last time I saw well, I think she was
- 28:39Speaker 3: real bad off and she got like face tattoos and
- 28:41Speaker 3: she was like in bad bad shape.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Then didn't she was like healthy again? I think?
- 28:48Speaker 3: And then but that's where I think the last time
- 28:51Speaker 3: I have found her, she was kind of in that world.
- 28:52Speaker 2: But is she bad again?
- 28:54Speaker 1: I don't think so. I think, Well, it's all about perspective.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Amanda Binds, the child star, once one of Nickelodeon's flagship faces,
- 29:04Speaker 1: in shows like All That and The Amanda Show. She
- 29:07Speaker 1: had a promising career as a movie star, appearing in
- 29:10Speaker 1: teen flicks like She's the Man. She was also I
- 29:13Speaker 1: think the last movie she was in, of note, or
- 29:16Speaker 1: maybe just the last movie she was in period, was
- 29:19Speaker 1: opposite Emma Stone in Easy A which that was actually
- 29:23Speaker 1: that was a good movie, that was really good. And
- 29:27Speaker 1: then things got bad for her, and really that's putting
- 29:31Speaker 1: it mildly. She retired from acting in twenty ten personal difficulties.
- 29:35Speaker 1: From twenty thirteen to twenty twenty two she was under
- 29:38Speaker 1: a conservatorship, So I think she was under a conservatorship
- 29:42Speaker 1: before Britney was. She was a trailblazer there, and then
- 29:47Speaker 1: she got out of the conservatorship in twenty twenty two.
- 29:50Speaker 1: She was back on her feet, on her own, but
- 29:53Speaker 1: definitely looking a bit different. So I'm gonna see if
- 29:59Speaker 1: I can this up and show you guys.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Yeah, you wouldn't even recognize her if from like her
- 30:03Speaker 2: teen movies.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Oh different person, yeah, yeah, very much. She looks like
- 30:07Speaker 1: her face has turned to rubber.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, see that's so wild.
- 30:14Speaker 1: So on the far left was Nickelodeon Amanda Binds. The
- 30:17Speaker 1: middle is like you know movies. Amanda Binds and the
- 30:21Speaker 1: Far Right is twenty twenty four. Amanda Binds with the
- 30:26Speaker 1: heart shaped cheek tattoo, the nose ring, the puffed up lips,
- 30:31Speaker 1: the filled up cheeks looking like kind of a spare
- 30:35Speaker 1: tire has been lodged in her face, and she's an esthetician.
- 30:41Speaker 4: I believe that's a far better picture of her than
- 30:44Speaker 4: the one was posted a couple days ago.
- 30:47Speaker 3: Oh really, actually, you're right, that's probably the best one
- 30:50Speaker 3: I've seen of her real, right, you know, you get
- 30:52Speaker 3: the point. But it looks flat, somewhat flattering, Believe.
- 30:55Speaker 5: It or not.
- 30:57Speaker 4: She's not aging well for thirty eight.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Dude, she's been there. I think, you know, it's like Brittany.
- 31:05Speaker 3: Brittany, I mean, Britney Spears has her issues, but her
- 31:08Speaker 3: fa I mean, her face does not look the same.
- 31:11Speaker 2: It's not the same face.
- 31:13Speaker 1: It does make you think. It's like, Okay, it's sort
- 31:15Speaker 1: of like chicken versus you know, which came first, chicken
- 31:19Speaker 1: or the egg? Which came first? The crazy or the
- 31:22Speaker 1: Hollywood version of crazy, Like Hollywood just brings out of
- 31:25Speaker 1: some people like if they never if they never got famous,
- 31:28Speaker 1: how different would their lives be Would they just be
- 31:30Speaker 1: more normal or would they would they still be this jack.
- 31:33Speaker 4: Well, I mean it's for some reason it kind of
- 31:35Speaker 4: you just don't hear about it as much anymore. But
- 31:38Speaker 4: it seems, you know, Hollywood child actors still don't seem
- 31:41Speaker 4: to farewell in adulthood.
- 31:43Speaker 3: No, No, I mean, how could you look at like,
- 31:46Speaker 3: you know, Justin Bieber's going through a bunch of issues
- 31:48Speaker 3: right now. And I've been around that guy enough, even
- 31:51Speaker 3: behind the scenes, to know you can't be normal when
- 31:55Speaker 3: you're going around the world at fifteen fourteen fifteen, you're
- 31:59Speaker 3: a multi millionaire. Nobody tells you no. Everybody's scared to
- 32:03Speaker 3: say no because you'll get fired. I mean, it's you're
- 32:06Speaker 3: never gonna grow up normal.
- 32:07Speaker 2: You're you're not.
- 32:08Speaker 3: I mean, you might be somewhat okay, but you're never
- 32:11Speaker 3: gonna be like just oh yeah, everything's fine.
- 32:13Speaker 2: This is now. You're changed forever forever.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Yeah, there is no going back now for a man
- 32:20Speaker 1: to bind like she's trying to live a quote unquote
- 32:22Speaker 1: normal life now because she's she just does nails, She
- 32:26Speaker 1: does nails, worked on nails, salon or whatever.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Yeah, right now, there's no Once you've been to a
- 32:31Speaker 3: Diddy party in Hollywood life is never.
- 32:33Speaker 5: Going to be the same.
- 32:36Speaker 2: Tell here's to it, which I've been to one, but
- 32:43Speaker 2: I left.
- 32:43Speaker 1: Why does he always WHOA, you've been to a Diddy party?
- 32:47Speaker 2: I've been to, Yeah, I have.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Is that why we always have to wipe down the
- 32:54Speaker 1: furniture when you leave?
- 32:56Speaker 2: Hide the baby oil? Now I went.
- 33:00Speaker 3: I went to Actually when I was in New York
- 33:03Speaker 3: working in New York, we went out one time, all
- 33:05Speaker 3: of us went to a club. Then I went to
- 33:08Speaker 3: his place in the Hampton's at for a big party
- 33:10Speaker 3: one time, and it got weird. When I say weird,
- 33:14Speaker 3: it got a little uncomfortable. It was like a daytime party.
- 33:17Speaker 3: But I'll never forget that. There was the whole backyard
- 33:22Speaker 3: was one big bed Like the backyard was like king
- 33:28Speaker 3: sized beds put together like a ton of I mean
- 33:32Speaker 3: there must been twenty king sized beds and with like linen,
- 33:35Speaker 3: white linen. And I was like, that's a weird aesthetic,
- 33:39Speaker 3: but whatever. Cool And then like there was kids playing.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Everybody was there in the day and then he basically
- 33:43Speaker 3: at night he would get out on the microphone and
- 33:45Speaker 3: be like I mean, in front of everyone, cameras rolling everything.
- 33:49Speaker 3: It's not a secret to be like, all right, you know, kids,
- 33:51Speaker 3: y'all gotta go. Things about to get weird. I'm like, well,
- 33:55Speaker 3: technically I'm a kid. This is where I'm gonna make
- 33:57Speaker 3: my exit.
- 33:58Speaker 1: And I'm curious. I didn't stay for like five ten
- 34:02Speaker 1: minutes when after the party turned over.
- 34:05Speaker 3: No, I mean I would stay and I wouldn't run out.
- 34:09Speaker 3: But nothing that I saw was weird. I mean as
- 34:11Speaker 3: far as you would see things people getting like sexual,
- 34:16Speaker 3: but not like over the top.
- 34:17Speaker 2: It was definitely a lot of women around.
- 34:20Speaker 3: Yeah, but back then I didn't look back and go, oh,
- 34:22Speaker 3: that's it was just there was You go to a
- 34:24Speaker 3: party like that with those kind of people. There was
- 34:27Speaker 3: always some kind of crazy like women and drugs and
- 34:32Speaker 3: whatever that would be around.
- 34:33Speaker 2: But I heard it got really bizarre.
- 34:36Speaker 3: But I was more scared of the drugs because I'm like,
- 34:38Speaker 3: I don't want to be around this because I never
- 34:39Speaker 3: did that kind of stuff.
- 34:40Speaker 2: But I didn't know what was going on like that.
- 34:43Speaker 1: You know, Trey, You ever notice how and I love
- 34:46Speaker 1: this about Billy, but you ever notice how he can
- 34:49Speaker 1: name drop or story drop on you. But it still
- 34:52Speaker 1: feels like I'm glad I'm glad I get to hear
- 34:54Speaker 1: about it because it's coming from my friend Billy. Like
- 34:57Speaker 1: it's not. He doesn't do it in a bragging way.
- 35:00Speaker 1: No party once as opposed to a party.
- 35:05Speaker 4: Well, I don't know, does it. Does anyone brag about
- 35:07Speaker 4: a Didty party these days?
- 35:08Speaker 5: Really? No?
- 35:09Speaker 1: Definitely no.
- 35:11Speaker 2: Actually I should have said I didn't go. I've never been.
- 35:13Speaker 3: But the truth is, I think it's kind of weird
- 35:15Speaker 3: that I have been and I didn't see anything weird.
- 35:16Speaker 3: And I was like, man, I've been around Diddy a
- 35:18Speaker 3: couple of times. He didn't even try to didd on me.
- 35:20Speaker 3: I was somewhat offended because I heard all these people,
- 35:22Speaker 3: you know, and I was like, what happened? But you know,
- 35:24Speaker 3: I never noticed anything too weird besides just normal Hollywood weirdness.
- 35:30Speaker 3: But I mean that, by the way, I don't take
- 35:31Speaker 3: it like personal, like you wanted to hang on me.
- 35:33Speaker 3: I was the music director of is E one hundred. Yeah,
- 35:36Speaker 3: That's why why I look at it. It is like I'm
- 35:38Speaker 3: not special. It would have been anyone in that position.
- 35:40Speaker 3: He would have been like trying to smooth, you know,
- 35:43Speaker 3: So whatever, Dan, do you.
- 35:45Speaker 4: Ever do you ever have teara put on a diddy
- 35:47Speaker 4: mask and pretend that you're at a ditty party every
- 35:50Speaker 4: Friday night.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Makes me Gil special. And that also means that's one
- 35:57Speaker 1: party I get to say Billy didn't go through that
- 35:58Speaker 1: I did.
- 35:59Speaker 2: True.
- 36:03Speaker 5: You are in the tree house.

- 36:34Speaker 1: on Air at gmail dot com. To advertise right here
- 36:38Speaker 1: inside the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley. He's Trey Trenholm. Today's
- 36:42Speaker 1: guest Billy the Kid from The Billy the Kids Show
- 36:45Speaker 1: on the All New Mixed one or two point nine
- 36:47Speaker 1: mornings and DF dub. You know what, let's uh, let's
- 36:51Speaker 1: let's change it up just a little bit. Today is Tuesday,
- 36:55Speaker 1: April fifteenth, twenty twenty five. Let's celebrate with some birthdays.
- 37:02Speaker 1: From Game of Thrones, she famously played Aria Stark. Mazie
- 37:06Speaker 1: Williams is twenty eight today. Maizie Williams twenty eight today, Billy,
- 37:12Speaker 1: were you a Game of Thrones watcher?
- 37:14Speaker 2: You know me, I'm so bad about this. I've never
- 37:16Speaker 2: seen one episode.
- 37:18Speaker 1: That's okay, I mean that's kind of expected now now
- 37:21Speaker 1: that we know you've never seen Jurassic Park. You haven't
- 37:23Speaker 1: seen any Star Wars movies. No, I'm surprised. I'm surprised
- 37:26Speaker 1: you can even function as a radio person not having
- 37:29Speaker 1: not having, not being able to pull from those pop
- 37:33Speaker 1: culture references.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Sometimes I can because I just have heard them so much.
- 37:37Speaker 3: I know where they're from, but I've never seen the movie.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Yeah. So like, if you're listening to Trey and Trey's
- 37:44Speaker 1: talking about a woman who looks a little off kilter,
- 37:47Speaker 1: and he says, let the crazy flow through you, you
- 37:51Speaker 1: know that's a Star Wars reference.
- 37:52Speaker 3: I've heard that, so I would know that it's from
- 37:55Speaker 3: Star Wars, but I wouldn't be able to tell you details.
- 37:59Speaker 3: Never if it wasn't on Cops. If it wasn't on Cops,
- 38:03Speaker 3: I don't know what happened.
- 38:06Speaker 4: Which an easy crazy flow through you might have been
- 38:09Speaker 4: on Cops.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Oh god, yeah, that's true in a different light.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that does apply.
- 38:14Speaker 3: And yeah, when you tase someone, possibly like a methad
- 38:18Speaker 3: or something.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Yeah. Mazie Williams turns twenty eight today. Emma Watson most
- 38:24Speaker 1: famous from her role in the Harry Potter movies. She's
- 38:27Speaker 1: thirty five today. She was also bell in the live
- 38:30Speaker 1: action Beauty and the Beast, one of the Disney live
- 38:33Speaker 1: action remakes that did really, really well and seemed to
- 38:35Speaker 1: be pretty well received. We've been slamming on the snow
- 38:39Speaker 1: White movie recently because it's just easy pickens, and well,
- 38:45Speaker 1: her movie was much better than the snow White thing
- 38:47Speaker 1: that they did recently. I'm assuming you haven't seen that.
- 38:50Speaker 3: No, but I heard it was so bad, Like people
- 38:52Speaker 3: were calling the show going, this is the worst thing
- 38:54Speaker 3: I've ever seen in my life. And I was like,
- 38:56Speaker 3: is that bad? How do you mess that up? Isn't
- 38:58Speaker 3: that an iconic story?
- 38:59Speaker 1: That's pretty it's supposed to be, But they somehow found
- 39:03Speaker 1: a way. I believe at this point it may have
- 39:05Speaker 1: a worse Rotten Tomatoes score than Freddy got fingered.
- 39:10Speaker 3: Oh wow, I do remember that movie now, I do
- 39:14Speaker 3: remember how bad everyone talked about that movie.
- 39:18Speaker 4: That was Tom Green.
- 39:19Speaker 1: Yep, that's right. Seth Rogan turns forty three today, speaking
- 39:25Speaker 1: of Disney remakes. He is Pumba in the Lion King
- 39:28Speaker 1: remake and the Tragedy that was the Mufasse movie. He's
- 39:31Speaker 1: also Mantis in the Kung Fu Panda movies. Luke Evans,
- 39:34Speaker 1: who also was in the Beauty and the Beast remake,
- 39:37Speaker 1: he played Gaston. He is forty six. He's also Barred
- 39:41Speaker 1: the Bowman in the Hobbit movies, Dracula in Dracula Untold,
- 39:45Speaker 1: and he's also Owen Shaw the Fast and Furious movies.
- 39:48Speaker 1: Country superstar Chris Stapleton is forty seven. From Radiohead, Trey's
- 39:53Speaker 1: favorite band of all time. Ed O'Brien is fifty seven.
- 39:57Speaker 4: Billy what you take on.
- 39:58Speaker 3: Radiohead okay, because either you love or you hate them.
- 40:03Speaker 2: I'm not the biggest Radiohead fan. Everyone who.
- 40:06Speaker 3: I have so many friends who are just die hard
- 40:08Speaker 3: Radiohead fans, and I'm just like, I don't get it.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Well, well, we're all pretty much the same there. Although
- 40:16Speaker 1: I think physically hates them. Basically I think they suck.
- 40:20Speaker 4: But part of that is I hate Radiohead fans because
- 40:24Speaker 4: they're always think they're just musical purist and they have,
- 40:28Speaker 4: you know, they want to lecture you go on a
- 40:30Speaker 4: twenty minute diatribe on how you don't get the brilliance
- 40:35Speaker 4: of Radiohead.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Okay, question, what's worse in your mind? Radiohead fans eat
- 40:45Speaker 1: Philadelphia Eagles fans or vegans?
- 40:49Speaker 2: Ooh, curveball at the end.
- 40:54Speaker 3: Well, I'm gonna go with I'm gonna go with Philly
- 40:59Speaker 3: firsts fans first, then two I'm going.
- 41:04Speaker 2: Radiohead and then vegans. No, I'm switching that.
- 41:08Speaker 3: Vegan second, then Radiohead because vegans just don't stop talking
- 41:12Speaker 3: about being vegans.
- 41:13Speaker 4: You're right, Radiohead fans are worse because even Philly at
- 41:19Speaker 4: least has won something.
- 41:20Speaker 1: So, yeah, that's true. Vegans have yet to win anything. Yeah,
- 41:24Speaker 1: and nor has Radiohead. Which one of those would you
- 41:31Speaker 1: not want to be stuck on a trapped elevator with?
- 41:33Speaker 1: Oh gosh, there's so there's four of you, right, there's
- 41:38Speaker 1: four of you. Billy, you're in You're in an elevator,
- 41:40Speaker 1: You've got a radio you got a Radiohead fan, a
- 41:42Speaker 1: Philadelphia Eagle fan, or a vegan Trey, same question, but
- 41:47Speaker 1: you take the place of Billy. You're on a trapped elevator,
- 41:50Speaker 1: a Philadelphia Eagle fan, a Radiohead fan, or a vegan.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Who do you not want to be in that trapped
- 41:56Speaker 1: elevator with the most a Radiohead fan.
- 41:59Speaker 2: Yeah, Radiohead.
- 42:00Speaker 3: I want to be with the Philly fan because they
- 42:02Speaker 3: probably have booze. Mm I'm gonna be with I mean,
- 42:08Speaker 3: at least I could maybe steal some of barl some
- 42:10Speaker 3: But Radiohead fan I couldn't know because they'll have their
- 42:12Speaker 3: phone with them and they'll start playing it.
- 42:16Speaker 2: Yeah, that's it.
- 42:18Speaker 4: Vegan's just gonna whine a Philly fan at this point,
- 42:22Speaker 4: I'll ask them, Hey, what's it like to be a
- 42:25Speaker 4: fan of a championship team? M hmm.
- 42:28Speaker 3: Yeah, But the vegans are just gonna fall asleep because
- 42:30Speaker 3: they're weak and feeble with no protein, so they'll just
- 42:32Speaker 3: pass out.
- 42:34Speaker 1: That's who I'm going with, because they'll be quietest.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Yeah, they'll be quiet. They're tired radio.
- 42:38Speaker 1: It's really hungry. The irony of eating a vegan I
- 42:41Speaker 1: think would be fantastic.
- 42:43Speaker 4: Radiohead fans will tell you about the radio, the elevator
- 42:45Speaker 4: music and why it should be Radiohead and why they're
- 42:48Speaker 4: the greatest fand ever.
- 42:49Speaker 3: You keep the Philly guy in there because they're gonna
- 42:52Speaker 3: end up killing one of them anyway, you know, so
- 42:55Speaker 3: then you're you don't have to do the dirty work.
- 42:56Speaker 2: You're good.
- 42:58Speaker 1: I feel like we've solved so many problems today.
- 43:02Speaker 2: There we are.

- 43:58Speaker 4: I'm Dan.
- 43:58Speaker 1: He'strey, Billy the kid in the Treehouse today from Billy
- 44:02Speaker 1: the Kids Show on the All New Mixed one or
- 44:04Speaker 1: two point nine mornings in Dallas. Forworth, what is the
- 44:09Speaker 1: coolest vehicle? You can get a dui on What is
- 44:15Speaker 1: the coolest vehicle? Because let's be honest, getting arrested for
- 44:19Speaker 1: dui and drinking and driving altogether bad. Now that I've
- 44:26Speaker 1: laid out the disclaimer. If you do get one, what
- 44:30Speaker 1: would at least be what would be the coolest vehicle
- 44:33Speaker 1: to get a DUI on?
- 44:34Speaker 3: Well, the riding lawnmowers played out, Been there, done that,
- 44:37Speaker 3: Everybody's done it.
- 44:38Speaker 2: It's you know, we all had a DUI in a lawnmower.
- 44:44Speaker 3: Gosh, I'm thinking twenty twenty five, you know, thinking next level,
- 44:50Speaker 3: it's got to be some kind of weird like maybe
- 44:53Speaker 3: automated AI.
- 44:55Speaker 1: Did you see that new AI horse like.
- 44:58Speaker 5: Yes, I one you what one?
- 45:02Speaker 1: Yes? So instead of being in some sort of AI
- 45:06Speaker 1: drone type deal, instead, they've taken like the Boston Dynamics
- 45:11Speaker 1: robodog looking thing and they've turned it into sort of
- 45:14Speaker 1: a horse like thing that you ride as a person.
- 45:17Speaker 1: It basically looks like a like an AI ton Ton
- 45:20Speaker 1: from Star Wars. I don't know if you'll get that, Billy,
- 45:22Speaker 1: because you don't watch Star Wars. Trade will get it right,
- 45:25Speaker 1: But it just looks like, you know, it's a machine
- 45:27Speaker 1: that some idiot humans going to inevitably fall off of.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Oh for sure, it would kill me, but it'd be
- 45:33Speaker 2: so fun in the meantime. So fun.
- 45:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 45:38Speaker 4: I think the most twenty twenty five thing would be
- 45:40Speaker 4: to get a dui in a self driving car.
- 45:43Speaker 3: I was just about to say a Waimo or something
- 45:45Speaker 3: like that, like or a driverless car possibly, Like how
- 45:47Speaker 3: does that even happen?
- 45:48Speaker 2: But yeah, it'd be something weird remote control. I don't
- 45:51Speaker 2: know who knows.
- 45:51Speaker 1: I think that may be. I think that may be
- 45:53Speaker 1: the best answer. But this guy's taking a run at it.
- 45:56Speaker 1: And Iowa City man was arrested after drunk driving an excavator.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Oh badass.
- 46:03Speaker 1: He took the dui on a riding lawnmower and sent
- 46:07Speaker 1: it up into twenty twenty five territory.
- 46:10Speaker 3: That's good. That's a good one. Now, Like, was he
- 46:12Speaker 3: can you tear stuff down with that? Was he like
- 46:14Speaker 3: tearing stuff down?
- 46:15Speaker 2: Or was he just.
- 46:17Speaker 1: An Iowa City man was arrested after allegedly driving an
- 46:20Speaker 1: excavator while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content nearly three
- 46:25Speaker 1: times the legal limit. Dustin Snyder, who is forty, is
- 46:29Speaker 1: charged with a second offense operating while intoxicated and driving
- 46:33Speaker 1: with a suspended license. Officers responded to the scene just
- 46:36Speaker 1: before three pm on a Saturday. So he's a a
- 46:40Speaker 1: drinking on a Saturday. The police said he smelled of alcohol,
- 46:43Speaker 1: had bloodshot and watery eyes, slurred his speech, and was
- 46:46Speaker 1: unable to keep his balance. Although, if we're being fair,
- 46:48Speaker 1: that also just sounds like a morning radio person. Sober.
- 46:51Speaker 2: Yeah, that's me right now.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Court document state he admitted to buying and drinking alcohol.
- 46:56Speaker 1: A breath test later showed BAC at point two two two.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Court record say he was released and is required to
- 47:03Speaker 1: complete substance abuse evaluation within thirty days. Let's him trying
- 47:09Speaker 1: to find where we get more details on this actual arrest. No, no, no,
- 47:16Speaker 1: that's all we have.
- 47:17Speaker 3: Well, I mean right away, when you said his name,
- 47:20Speaker 3: you know some is about to go.
- 47:22Speaker 2: Now, there's never been. I've never met a Dusty who's sober. Never,
- 47:28Speaker 2: that's true.
- 47:29Speaker 1: I had, I had, I had a friend in the
- 47:31Speaker 1: second grade whose name was Dusty and ham right. He
- 47:33Speaker 1: was a theory holds up.
- 47:35Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, because you know about Saturday day drinking. I
- 47:39Speaker 4: think I think this started Friday night.
- 47:42Speaker 2: That's it. It went over. This is a carryover. It's
- 47:45Speaker 2: too many natty lights. It's like yeah, one hundred.
- 47:49Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. When when when the day ends with you
- 47:52Speaker 1: being pulled over for a DUI on excavator, you didn't
- 47:55Speaker 1: start with a bloody Mary at Bred that started it
- 47:59Speaker 1: happy the day before, twenty four hours before is when
- 48:03Speaker 1: you started.
- 48:04Speaker 4: This is as as they recovering alcoholic. This is you
- 48:08Speaker 4: woke up the next morning, you don't remember where you
- 48:10Speaker 4: left your car. What do you got the keys to
- 48:12Speaker 4: the excavator. Let's go take that first.
- 48:16Speaker 3: Then there's no way you were just treating. That's bush
- 48:18Speaker 3: light and bath bombs right there.
- 48:20Speaker 2: That's what that's.
- 48:21Speaker 1: Yes, Yes, that's that was a beer and a shot special.
- 48:24Speaker 1: It happened.
- 48:24Speaker 3: Yes, that's some bat salts right.
- 48:29Speaker 1: Well, I got keys. Let me see what it goes to. Hey,
- 48:32Speaker 1: I got an excavator. This is Great's go for all
- 48:36Speaker 1: things Treehouse. Go to the website Treehouse on Air dot com.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Be sure and find and follow us on social media.
