- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, 12th man? Texas A & M definitely gave
- 0:02Speaker 1: you some hard prepotations throughout the afternoon, but at the
- 0:06Speaker 1: end of the day, the better team came out on top.
- 0:08Speaker 1: You got to see exactly what you wanted to from
- 0:10Speaker 1: your defense, especially with the turnovers, and Marcel Reed still
- 0:13Speaker 1: showed you he's got that dog in him as Texas
- 0:15Speaker 1: A & M prevails. in a 48-20 victory over Arizona State.
- 0:20Speaker 1: And what was the big takeaway in this one? Well,

- 0:39Speaker 1: win this afternoon out of Kyle Field in honor of 9-11.
- 0:43Speaker 1: The big takeaway is that good teams know how to
- 0:45Speaker 1: close out games. That is exactly what you saw from
- 0:48Speaker 1: Texas A & M' s defense and a little bit of
- 0:50Speaker 1: the offense starting in the fourth quarter. You can look
- 0:53Speaker 1: at the score and say, well, it was a 20-plus
- 0:55Speaker 1: point affair. That wasn't how this game went. It was
- 0:58Speaker 1: a back-and-forth battle between Cutter Bowley, Marcel Reed, the defensive
- 1:02Speaker 1: prowess of Mike Elko, the offensive consistency of Kenny Dillingham,
- 1:07Speaker 1: and ultimately, you looked for which team had that next-level mentality.
- 1:12Speaker 2: And that's where Texas.
- 1:13Speaker 1: A & M slightly outweighs a team like Arizona State.
- 1:15Speaker 1: In fact, they completely outweigh a team like Arizona State
- 1:18Speaker 1: and certainly can outweigh a lot of other teams in
- 1:20Speaker 1: the SEC if they're able to start off strong. Texas
- 1:23Speaker 1: A & M' s offense found a rhythm in the second half,
- 1:26Speaker 1: most notably because of a couple of bad penalties, but
- 1:29Speaker 1: still really key grabs from Mario Craver.
- 1:32Speaker 2: A massive touchdown reception by Isaiah Horton.
- 1:34Speaker 1: We'll get to that in a moment. and more consistent
- 1:37Speaker 1: throws from Marcel Reed. But the defense is the story
- 1:40Speaker 1: of this game. When you needed a crucial turnover on downs,
- 1:43Speaker 1: when you needed a stop, they delivered, and they outclassed
- 1:46Speaker 1: the Sun Devils in the second half. Really, what this
- 1:48Speaker 1: comes down to is that Texas A & M' s defense
- 1:51Speaker 1: bailed them out of trouble. Last season, that was the
- 1:52Speaker 1: backbone of this team. Once again, when you needed to
- 1:54Speaker 1: get a critical strive, that's what happened. A 24-0 point
- 1:57Speaker 1: differential situation. Two defensive scores, including a scoop and score
- 2:01Speaker 1: and a pick six by Julian Humphrey to close this
- 2:04Speaker 1: thing on out. Texas A & M out gained Arizona
- 2:07Speaker 1: State 76-48, and they were able to go ahead and
- 2:11Speaker 1: find their way into the red zone to score not
- 2:13Speaker 1: only a touchdown, but also a field goal to see
- 2:15Speaker 1: the offense be able to put up points. Now, that
- 2:17Speaker 1: was the main takeaway, and this is something that you're
- 2:19Speaker 1: going to rely on moving forward going into the rest
- 2:22Speaker 1: of the season. You got another tune-up game next week
- 2:24Speaker 1: before you have to travel on down to Baton Rouge
- 2:26Speaker 1: to take on LSU, one of the most potent offenses
- 2:30Speaker 1: in the country, which is why some of these other
- 2:32Speaker 1: takeaways that we have for this matchup are direly important
- 2:35Speaker 1: for Texas A & M to work out the kinks.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Let's start off with number one. Texas A & M
- 2:39Speaker 1: with another slow start. I was very underwhelmed in that
- 2:43Speaker 1: first matchup against Missouri State.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Now, credit where credit's due.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Texas A & M found a rhythm starting in the
- 2:48Speaker 1: third quarter, and they were able to mollywop the Bears
- 2:51Speaker 1: all the way towards a 50-0 victory. But it was
- 2:54Speaker 1: 19-0 going into halftime, and it was really because the
- 2:57Speaker 1: offense had an underwhelming start to the game. The offensive
- 3:00Speaker 1: line still working out the kinks with four new starters,
- 3:03Speaker 1: a quarterback lurking with a new offensive coordinator in Holman Wiggins.
- 3:06Speaker 1: It just felt like there was something not clicking immediately.
- 3:10Speaker 1: And you can throw that in for first-game jitters, the
- 3:13Speaker 1: inability to really have just a good offensive identity. No
- 3:16Speaker 1: one's going to judge you because if it's week one,
- 3:18Speaker 1: look at what we just saw out in Ann Arbor
- 3:21Speaker 1: between Michigan and Western Michigan. Now we're watching as the
- 3:24Speaker 1: Wolverines are acting like victors of the world because they
- 3:27Speaker 1: took down a top 15 Oklahoma team. You work out
- 3:30Speaker 1: your kinks in week one. And that was very evident.
- 3:33Speaker 1: But then we go back to this game and the
- 3:34Speaker 1: same issues were on display. Erratic offensive line play with
- 3:38Speaker 1: the inability to get anything going on the ground. Marcel
- 3:41Speaker 1: Reed with a couple of really bad overshots down the field.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Wide receivers not able to get on open at ill-advised times.
- 3:48Speaker 1: And ultimately it led to a couple punts. A couple
- 3:50Speaker 1: of really bad three and out drives. Texas A &
- 3:52Speaker 1: M in the first quarter only gained 14 yards of
- 3:56Speaker 1: offense on eight plays. And Marcel Reed didn't even have
- 3:59Speaker 1: a completion in the first quarter. So another slow start
- 4:02Speaker 1: that definitely could become a problem for the Aggies if
- 4:05Speaker 1: they aren't able to start getting a motion going. That
- 4:08Speaker 1: doesn't mean it needs to be an issue long-term because
- 4:10Speaker 1: you're still trying to figure out what are the kinks
- 4:12Speaker 1: about Holman Wiggins' offense that probably could be on display
- 4:15Speaker 1: by the time you go into next week's matchup. But
- 4:17Speaker 1: you need to figure this out before you go off
- 4:19Speaker 1: down to Baton Rouge to take on the LSU Tigers
- 4:21Speaker 1: because that's a defense that knows how to get after you,
- 4:23Speaker 1: especially on the offensive line play. They know how to
- 4:25Speaker 1: shut down the run and they're going to force you
- 4:27Speaker 1: to have to make plays. through the offensive aerial attack.
- 4:30Speaker 1: And that's something that right now you're still trying to
- 4:32Speaker 1: figure on out. The entire first half, it felt like
- 4:35Speaker 1: the Texas A & M was stuck in neutral. Now,
- 4:38Speaker 1: there were moments to where you were able to see
- 4:39Speaker 1: them find their way into the end zone. They were
- 4:41Speaker 1: able to capitalize over massive turnovers by Arizona State. The
- 4:45Speaker 1: muff punt that put them inside of the red zone.
- 4:47Speaker 1: They walked in the touchdown run with Reuben Owens. That
- 4:50Speaker 1: was a very smart play by Holman Wiggins. But still,
- 4:52Speaker 1: you ask yourself, what more did we need to see?
- 4:55Speaker 1: And that's where you saw Cutter Bully be able to find...
- 4:58Speaker 1: Reed Harris downfield for a massive 21-yard score, and then
- 5:01Speaker 1: it became off to the races. At the end of
- 5:03Speaker 1: the first half, Texas A & M was actually outgained
- 5:06Speaker 1: by 77 yards to Arizona State. And the reason why
- 5:09Speaker 1: that's important is because if this was the first time
- 5:11Speaker 1: all year that we have seen a team inside the
- 5:13Speaker 1: top 10 be outgained by more than 40 yards in
- 5:17Speaker 1: the first half by an unranked opponent. Now the good
- 5:20Speaker 1: news is, They figured out a rhythm, and they were
- 5:23Speaker 1: able to get back into a groove, and you really
- 5:24Speaker 1: saw after that massive interception by Marcel Reed to start
- 5:27Speaker 1: the third quarter, things just started clicking. The big touchdown
- 5:31Speaker 1: pass to Isaiah Horton, the 33-yard score to Mario Craver,
- 5:35Speaker 1: getting the interception by Marco Jones, getting the other interception
- 5:39Speaker 1: by Julian Humphrey, which by the way, it wasn't a
- 5:40Speaker 1: scoop and score, it was an interception. The ability to
- 5:43Speaker 1: be able to play stronger in.
- 5:44Speaker 2: The second half.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Find the weaknesses of opponents and be able to capitalize
- 5:48Speaker 1: on them, put pressure on a quarterback to deliver and
- 5:51Speaker 1: have your quarterback step on up is critical in moments
- 5:54Speaker 1: like these to be able to pull away and show
- 5:56Speaker 1: why you are a premier team in college football, which
- 5:59Speaker 1: Texas A & M certainly can be if they continue
- 6:01Speaker 1: to play the way that they did in the second half.
- 6:03Speaker 1: But slow starts are something that we are going to
- 6:05Speaker 1: be monitoring moving forward for the Aggies, because if this
- 6:07Speaker 1: is now the second game to where it felt like
- 6:09Speaker 1: that you needed a quarter to finally start getting in
- 6:12Speaker 1: a groove, and then another quarter to actually not just
- 6:14Speaker 1: get into a groove, but really kind of take control.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Takeaway number two. Where the hell was this version of
- 6:20Speaker 1: Isaiah Horton last season?
- 6:22Speaker 2: By the way, he is.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Worth every single penny. So Isaiah Horton comes on in
- 6:25Speaker 1: from Alabama. And one thing that was really important for
- 6:28Speaker 1: Alabama was they decided to go ahead and let him
- 6:31Speaker 1: walk into the transfer portal because they want to utilize
- 6:33Speaker 1: and allocate money elsewhere, most notably on the offensive line
- 6:37Speaker 1: and also in the running back room, trying to go
- 6:39Speaker 1: land Hollywood smothers. Apparently, he was making about $ 700, 000 last
- 6:42Speaker 1: season out in Tuscaloosa, when I was making probably roughly
- 6:46Speaker 1: around $ 1 million, maybe a little bit more. And he
- 6:49Speaker 1: is worth every single penny because of that is a
- 6:51Speaker 1: godsend that is now going to be a X factor
- 6:54Speaker 1: whenever you're inside the red zone. One thing that was
- 6:57Speaker 1: not talked about enough when it comes to Texas A
- 6:59Speaker 1: & M' s offense last season underneath Colin Klein is that
- 7:02Speaker 1: you had two really, really, really good receivers in Mario
- 7:05Speaker 1: Craver and Casey Concepcion. But both were known as being
- 7:09Speaker 1: vertical threats. They were great route runners. They were exceptional
- 7:12Speaker 1: in between space, and they were good at making defenders
- 7:15Speaker 1: miss in the open field because of that home run
- 7:18Speaker 1: caliber speed. Both were known for agility rather than physicality.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Now this season, you lose Casey Concepcion to the NFL,
- 7:25Speaker 1: but what you do is you bring in a guy
- 7:27Speaker 1: like Isaiah Horton, who stands at about 6'4, and is
- 7:30Speaker 1: known for that physicality, not going to go down, going
- 7:33Speaker 1: to get those hard yards, fight through contact, and be
- 7:36Speaker 1: able to deliver. And that's what you saw today, was
- 7:38Speaker 1: more of Isaiah Horton proving to you why he is
- 7:42Speaker 1: just that enforcer that allows his body to pull himself
- 7:45Speaker 1: forward towards the end zone.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Because he found it twice.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Once, simply by a great route execution in the second quarter,
- 7:52Speaker 1: and then another time by a beautiful throw from Marcel Reed,
- 7:55Speaker 1: more on him in a minute, but a hell of
- 7:57Speaker 1: a toe-tagging grab going up against an ASU defender to
- 8:00Speaker 1: go ahead and regain the lead, but more specifically, regain
- 8:04Speaker 1: that momentum. This is going to be a wonderful pairing
- 8:06Speaker 1: alongside with Mario Kraber, because now you have two different
- 8:09Speaker 1: forces to pair alongside with what you got at the
- 8:12Speaker 1: tight end position like Micah Riley. And also what you
- 8:14Speaker 1: got with a guy like Terry Bussey and Ashton Roman Bethel.
- 8:16Speaker 1: But the point is, is that now you have a
- 8:19Speaker 1: difference maker who probably is being missed in Tuscaloosa because
- 8:22Speaker 1: Ryan Coleman Williams, probably by the time we get done
- 8:24Speaker 1: with this video, has already had two drops. And Keelan
- 8:26Speaker 1: Russell is turning to guys like Cedarian Morgan and Derek
- 8:29Speaker 1: Meadows to have to step on up in critical plays,
- 8:31Speaker 1: which is going to be massive for you when you
- 8:34Speaker 1: travel down to Tuscaloosa later on in the month of
- 8:36Speaker 1: October for what could have playoff implications on the line.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Number seven is no longer there in case it comes
- 8:42Speaker 1: out its own, but you walk him into brand new
- 8:43Speaker 1: number seven and a guy like Isaiah Horton, who certainly
- 8:46Speaker 1: has proven that he can be a difference maker for you.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Takeaway number three. And this is one I think many
- 8:52Speaker 1: Aggie fans feel right now. I am pissed at Marcel Reed.
- 8:55Speaker 1: I get frustrated watching Marcel Reed play football. And many
- 8:59Speaker 1: of you would say, well, Cole, he had three touchdowns
- 9:01Speaker 1: on the day. Right. But where was that in the
- 9:04Speaker 1: first half of this matchup? Marcel Reed finished the afternoon.
- 9:08Speaker 1: 15-25 for 163 yards. He also ran in about another
- 9:12Speaker 1: 17 yards, and he nearly found his way into the
- 9:14Speaker 1: end zone.
- 9:15Speaker 2: But that's not the point.
- 9:16Speaker 1: The point is that for every throw that you see
- 9:18Speaker 1: from Marcel Reed that is a beautiful, right-in-the-bread-basket type of play,
- 9:22Speaker 1: one that we are watching make highlight reel after highlight reel,
- 9:26Speaker 1: everyone starts believing this is the Marcel Reed that's taking
- 9:29Speaker 1: the next jump forward.
- 9:31Speaker 2: What do we see? A bad throw into coverage. A
- 9:33Speaker 2: late read. The inability to be able to get out
- 9:36Speaker 2: of pressure.
- 9:37Speaker 1: And then throwing off of his back foot that leads
- 9:41Speaker 1: to another turnover or a third down incompletion. And it's
- 9:45Speaker 1: like at one moment, you're just wanting to know what
- 9:48Speaker 1: version of Marcel Reed are we getting. It's like jumping
- 9:50Speaker 1: into a bag of Cracker Jacks and asking yourself, hey,
- 9:54Speaker 1: which is the prize that's going to show on up?
- 9:56Speaker 1: Am I going trick-or-treating or is my house going to
- 9:57Speaker 1: get hacked?
- 9:58Speaker 2: That's what it's like.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Playing with Marcel Reed. Because the good Marcel Reed is incredible.
- 10:03Speaker 1: The throw to Isaiah Horton in the third quarter. may
- 10:05Speaker 1: be one of the best plays to a wide receiver
- 10:08Speaker 1: that we've seen so far in the early college football season.
- 10:11Speaker 2: No one should take that away from him.
- 10:12Speaker 1: He put it right on the money to where an
- 10:14Speaker 1: Arizona State defender couldn't make a highlight grab, and instead
- 10:17Speaker 1: you walk away with the touchdown. He was able to
- 10:19Speaker 1: avoid a couple of pressures, step on up in the pocket,
- 10:21Speaker 1: eventually take off and run and keep drives alive with
- 10:24Speaker 1: his legs, but then you gotta talk about how he
- 10:26Speaker 1: was inconsistent in the first quarter on third downs. Then
- 10:29Speaker 1: going into the second quarter. And then coming out of
- 10:31Speaker 1: the break, after dealing with the near injury where he
- 10:33Speaker 1: was definitely limping and you could tell that the mobility
- 10:35Speaker 1: was going to be a problem, you saw him throw
- 10:38Speaker 1: directly into a position with a lofty ball for a
- 10:42Speaker 1: turnover by Arizona State at midfield. And that was when
- 10:45Speaker 1: momentum you thought was going to shift on over to
- 10:46Speaker 1: the Sun Devils and away from Texas A & M
- 10:48Speaker 1: in their own house.
- 10:50Speaker 2: It's a good player. He's a fun player.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Marcel Reed is a quarterback that you can win with.
- 10:56Speaker 1: That is somebody that you believe is good enough to
- 10:59Speaker 1: get you to that next stage. And I hate when
- 11:00Speaker 1: people say, well, last season was last season because they
- 11:03Speaker 1: had an easy schedule. Texas A & M is given
- 11:06Speaker 1: one game to be able to be played per week.
- 11:08Speaker 1: It's their job to be able to execute as the
- 11:10Speaker 1: other team's job to show on up. It's not his
- 11:12Speaker 1: fault if he holds up his end of the bargain
- 11:15Speaker 1: and the Gamecocks or the Bulldogs or the Tigers or
- 11:18Speaker 1: the Gators decide not to go ahead and play football
- 11:21Speaker 1: and instead lay down Dorman in the second half of games.
- 11:24Speaker 1: If he wants to deliver, that's on him. But every
- 11:27Speaker 1: single time that you watch him take the field, you're
- 11:29Speaker 1: asking yourself, what is this drive going to be? Because
- 11:32Speaker 1: once you start getting in a rhythm with Marcel Reed,
- 11:34Speaker 1: that guy is cinematic. That guy is everything.
- 11:37Speaker 2: That you want. 10 is perfect.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Perfectly fine to lead the Aggies back to the college
- 11:42Speaker 1: football playoff.
- 11:44Speaker 2: But it takes a while.
- 11:45Speaker 1: And more specifically, it also can be frustrating because if
- 11:47Speaker 1: you watch as he's not able to find a rhythm
- 11:50Speaker 1: early on, or late in games when you go up
- 11:52Speaker 1: against better competition, there's an opportunity to where he may
- 11:55Speaker 1: end up putting you in a position to where it
- 11:57Speaker 1: costs you a game. So Texas A & M right
- 12:00Speaker 1: now has a quarterback that once again is just frustrating.
- 12:03Speaker 1: And I know every A & M fan feels this way.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Because if you are seeing an offense and a defense
- 12:08Speaker 1: have the pieces with the rushing attack and with great weaponry,
- 12:11Speaker 1: and more specifically with a defense that is able to
- 12:14Speaker 1: keep you in games while you figure things on out.
- 12:17Speaker 1: But then on the flip side, you ask yourself, what
- 12:20Speaker 1: am I going to get from my quarterback? Is this
- 12:21Speaker 1: going to be one of those games where he ends
- 12:23Speaker 1: up completing 60% of his passes and he finds the
- 12:25Speaker 1: end zone twice, but he also has two critical turnovers
- 12:28Speaker 1: that lead to scoring opportunities for the opponent? Or is
- 12:31Speaker 1: this one of those games where we're looking back and
- 12:32Speaker 1: we're saying he is the reason why we're sitting up top?
- 12:35Speaker 1: In the third and fourth quarter, he was a big-time
- 12:37Speaker 1: reason why the Aggies were able to coast their way
- 12:39Speaker 1: to a double-digit victory and be able to beat the 14.5-point spread.
- 12:43Speaker 1: But he also was put in a position where it
- 12:44Speaker 1: felt like at one point Arizona State was going to
- 12:46Speaker 1: fight their way to come back into this matchup. Now,
- 12:49Speaker 1: if you haven't already, like the video, hit the ring notification,
- 12:51Speaker 1: and make sure that you're subscribed right here on College

- 13:04Speaker 1: miss out on any of our content that is coming
- 13:06Speaker 1: out on the regular. My final takeaway here is that
- 13:09Speaker 1: Texas A & M' s defense will keep them in games.
- 13:13Speaker 1: But you do have to have a little bit of
- 13:15Speaker 1: trepidation when it comes to the deep vertical passing attack.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Cutter Boley threw three interceptions in this game. And he
- 13:21Speaker 1: had three turnovers that led to Texas A & M' s scores.
- 13:24Speaker 1: He also had two touchdowns in this game. And more specifically,
- 13:28Speaker 1: he also had two touchdowns in this game where he
- 13:30Speaker 1: was able to connect downfield with Reed Harris, the Boston
- 13:33Speaker 1: College transfer. Six-foot-four difference maker who finished with nine catches
- 13:37Speaker 1: for 189 yards and had four plays of over 30
- 13:40Speaker 1: yards downfield. And that's not to mention what you also
- 13:42Speaker 1: have with O'Marion Miller, who really didn't do much, but
- 13:45Speaker 1: he was able to get a couple of first downs
- 13:47Speaker 1: and keep drives moving at some points.
- 13:49Speaker 2: But let's talk about the vertical passing attack.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Texas A & M is going to be going up
- 13:52Speaker 1: against some of the best offensive weapons this season in
- 13:56Speaker 1: college football.
- 13:57Speaker 2: And I'm not talking about just.
- 13:58Speaker 1: A Cam Coleman when you go welcome in the Longhorns
- 14:01Speaker 1: late in Thanksgiving weekend. I'm talking about when you go
- 14:05Speaker 1: down to Tuscaloosa and you have to take on a
- 14:08Speaker 1: player like Ryan Coleman-Williams, who last week, even with the drops,
- 14:11Speaker 1: still went for over 130 yards. And they got a
- 14:14Speaker 1: quarterback in Keelan Russell that is able to go ahead
- 14:16Speaker 1: and make plays behind the line of scrimmage. John Mateer
- 14:19Speaker 1: may not have an elite arm, but he does have
- 14:21Speaker 1: an elite receiver like Isaiah Satanga, who if he can
- 14:23Speaker 1: break on open at the line of scrimmage, he is
- 14:25Speaker 1: off to the races. Not to mention, you also got
- 14:28Speaker 1: to welcome in a team like Tennessee. And Tennessee is
- 14:30Speaker 1: two difference makers.
- 14:31Speaker 2: On the outside. Braylon Staley and Mike Matthews.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Mike Matthews is still running his way into the end
- 14:37Speaker 1: zone after having a two-touchdown performance against Furman. And I'm
- 14:40Speaker 1: sure he's going to be doing more of that tonight
- 14:41Speaker 1: when they go down to Bobby Dodd Stadium to take
- 14:43Speaker 1: on Georgia Tech. And Braylon Staley knows how to break
- 14:45Speaker 1: on open as well. So there are some weapons that
- 14:48Speaker 1: are on display for Texas A & M that are
- 14:50Speaker 1: going to be able to win vertically just like Reed
- 14:52Speaker 1: Harris did this afternoon. And that's not even including what
- 14:55Speaker 1: you get next week against, two weeks from now, against
- 14:58Speaker 1: a team like LSU, who still is trying to figure
- 15:01Speaker 1: out what their offensive identity is. But let's just call
- 15:04Speaker 1: it as is. They got a Winston Watkins. And they
- 15:07Speaker 1: got a Trey Wilson. And they also have a Jace Brown.
- 15:10Speaker 1: And every single one of those players knows how to
- 15:12Speaker 1: get on open downfield for an easy 15-yard pickup. And
- 15:15Speaker 1: if you allow them to break on open, they're going
- 15:17Speaker 1: to make plays in space. So that's something that you
- 15:20Speaker 1: are a little bit concerned about. Not saying that it's
- 15:22Speaker 1: a big deal because, again, talent at the end of
- 15:24Speaker 1: the day outweighed Texas A & M and made sure
- 15:27Speaker 1: they were able to coast their way to a double-digit victory.
- 15:30Speaker 1: But you are going to be facing off against those
- 15:31Speaker 1: teams on the regular. You do have matchups against other
- 15:34Speaker 1: top 25 opponents. That includes a team like an LSU
- 15:38Speaker 1: or potentially even a Missouri. And Missouri is looking pretty
- 15:41Speaker 1: good at least at quarterback with Austin Simmons. Or Alabama,
- 15:44Speaker 1: or when you travel down to Willie B, or when
- 15:45Speaker 1: you go face off against Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Texas to
- 15:48Speaker 1: close out the year. Final thing, Texas A & M
- 15:52Speaker 1: was able to win a football game, and they won
- 15:54Speaker 1: convincingly in the fourth quarter. Can we take part of
- 15:57Speaker 1: what we saw in the second half and bring it
- 15:59Speaker 1: closer towards the first.
- 16:00Speaker 2: 15 minutes of a game?
- 16:01Speaker 1: If they're able to do that, you've got to feel
- 16:03Speaker 1: mighty high about the direction of where the Aggies are
- 16:05Speaker 1: going into 2026. Matchup next week against Kentucky, then they
- 16:09Speaker 1: welcome in a team, then they go down the road
- 16:11Speaker 1: face-off against LSU, and then they go face-off against Arkansas
- 16:14Speaker 1: and Missouri before they finally take on the Citadel, and
- 16:17Speaker 1: then they have to take on Alabama. So let's go
- 16:19Speaker 1: ahead and take a breather after the bye week next week,
- 16:21Speaker 1: see what you can figure out before you welcome on
- 16:24Speaker 1: in the Wildcats. When you welcome on in Kentucky on
- 16:27Speaker 1: the 19th, you'll have a week to be able to prepare,
- 16:29Speaker 1: look back at the tape, see what went wrong, and
- 16:32Speaker 1: how are you able to go ahead and get a
- 16:33Speaker 1: better start offensively. Hopefully you can get something going in
- 16:36Speaker 1: the run game on a more consistent basis, and you're
- 16:38Speaker 1: not going to rely on highlight plays from Mario Craver
- 16:41Speaker 1: and Isaiah Horton for you to be able to feel
- 16:44Speaker 1: confident about where your offense is.
- 16:46Speaker 2: The good news is defense wins championships, and.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Once again, you have a hell of a defense coordinator
- 16:50Speaker 1: in Mike Elko that's going to be able to guide
- 16:52Speaker 1: you all the way to potentially a college football playoff berth.

- 17:00Speaker 1: from Texas A & M' s dominant win in the fourth
- 17:02Speaker 1: quarter over Arizona State. Make sure that you follow us

- 17:33Speaker 1: win is a win. Be thankful of that. You have
- 17:36Speaker 1: 14 days to figure out how you're going to be
- 17:38Speaker 1: better before you take on a team like Kentucky.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Until next time, peace.
