  teach us today. Help us to glorify your holy

  you. Lord, help us to open the door.

  God, help us to love you more. I pray in the name of Jesus for

  bodies to be healed today, Lord, heal cancer today.

  God, I pray that you'll heal us from all of our infirmities.

  Lord, I pray in the name of Jesus that you'll reverse
• 0:46
  diabetes. God, I pray in the name of Jesus
• 0:49
  that you'll reverse Alzheimer's and dementia.
• 0:52
  God, I pray that you'll heal heart disease in the name of
• 0:56
  Jesus. Lord, I pray in the name of
• 0:58
  Jesus for the lame to walk, for the blind to see God, for the
• 1:03
  deaf to hear, and for the mute to talk.

  God, I pray that you, Lord, will get all the glory and all the
• 1:10
  honor. Lord, it's all about you, King
• 1:13
  Jesus. It's always been about you, King
• 1:15
  Jesus, from now to the end of time, from now, Father, until
• 1:21
  you desire to make every wrong thing right and instill peace
• 1:26
  upon this earth. Father, I pray that we'll wait
• 1:30
  expectantly. I pray that we'll wait
• 1:33
  patiently. God, I pray that we will not
• 1:35
  squander our inheritance. Help us not to live in fear.
• 1:40
  God, I pray that we can see that we are more than conquerors,
• 1:45
  that you're fighting our battles, God, that it's nothing
• 1:48
  that we have done and it's everything that you did for us.

  And so, God, we rest in the finished work of the cross.

  We rest in the power and in the might of Jesus Christ.

  We rest in your omnipotence. Father, we get out of our own

  way. We get out of our own

  understanding. God, I pray that we will not
• 2:11
  squander all of the things that you have entrusted to us.

  Help us, Lord, to take up the cross and to follow you.

  Help us, Lord, not to live in a perpetual state of anxiety.

  God, I pray that we will remain peaceful.

  Lord, I pray that we will remain trusting of you God and all the
• 2:36
  promises contained in this book. Lord, I pray for the youth.

  Lord, I pray that you'll raise up warriors unto yourself.
• 2:44
  God, I pray that people will see their worth and dignity in you.
• 2:49
  God, I pray that they'll make the decision to follow you
• 2:52
  wholeheartedly God, and not get distracted and not be lukewarm.

  In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray that we will be the

  generation God that seeks your face.

  O Jacob. God, we enter into your throne
• 3:08
  room with praise and Thanksgiving, clean hands and a
• 3:12
  pure heart. God, we do not bow down to idols
• 3:15
  or swear by a false God. It's all about King Jesus and
• 3:19
  it's always been about King Jesus and the Spirit.
• 3:22
  And the bride says, come Lord, come Maranatha, come.
• 3:28
  Lord, we love you. Father, teach us your eternal
• 3:32
  paths. Help us to know that you are in
• 3:36
  the room and you are filling us up.
• 3:38
  Help us to know that you're giving us discernment.
• 3:41
  God correct us, Lord, when we need it.
• 3:43
  Lord, discipline us, Father, when we need it.
• 3:46
  Lord, help us to stay on track. Help us to not get sideways.
• 3:50
  God, help us to remain in you and you and us, God, abiding and
• 3:55
  producing fruit for your Kingdom come.
• 3:57
  Lord, we love you Jesus Christ, and it's all about you, Jesus
• 4:01
  Christ, and it's in your holy and precious and powerful name
• 4:05
  that I pray. Amen.

  Well, let's start in verse one. Put them in mind to be subject
• 4:17
  to the principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to
• 4:23
  be ready to every good work. So here you have to remember
• 4:30
  Paul is writing to his son in the faith, Titus, while Titus is
• 4:35
  in the very rambunctious crowd of the Cretes here, and he's
• 4:41
  telling Titus to put the Cretans in remembrance, to be ready to
• 4:47
  do good work and to obey those that are put in authority over
• 4:52
  them. What an amazing thought.
• 4:55
  Friends, you need to know that the King's heart is in God's
• 5:00
  hands and he can put it in whatever direction that he
• 5:05
  desires. We don't need to be fearful.
• 5:09
  We don't need to bite our nails trying to figure out what's
• 5:11
  going on in the world. You need to see everything
• 5:15
  that's going on in the world through the proper lens of
• 5:18
  prophecy. And it's ignorance of the word
• 5:21
  of God that's plaguing this land.
• 5:24
  And people want to have it both ways.
• 5:26
  They want to play the lukewarm game.
• 5:29
  And Jesus says I will spew you out of my mouth because you are
• 5:33
  neither hot nor cold. But we have to remember,
• 5:37
  friends, that everything is culminating.
• 5:40
  The birth pains are happening and it should not take you by
• 5:44
  surprise. That is unless you have placed
• 5:48
  your faith both in this world and in Christ and it will never
• 5:54
  work out. And so many people are in a
• 5:57
  tailspin because they were trying to build a Kingdom here
• 6:02
  and they just wanted to get out of hell.
• 6:04
  Free card. And Jesus comes and he rocks
• 6:09
  that theology. Jesus comes and he shakes
• 6:14
  anything that can be shaken and he sifts anything that can be
• 6:19
  sift and also he places us in the fire friends, and he pulls
• 6:25
  out all the impurities. We should not be surprised
• 6:29
  whenever Jesus Christ is putting us in the refiners fire.
• 6:36
  Do not be afraid, be strong, be powerful in the Lord, knowing
• 6:42
  that we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus and love knows
• 6:48
  no greater than for a man to lay down his life for his friends.
• 6:56
  Verse 2. To speak evil of no man, to be
• 7:00
  no brawlers but gentle, showing all meekness unto all men.
• 7:04
  We need to pray for our enemies friends.
• 7:07
  We need to know that God is all powerful and God has got
• 7:11
  everything in control and we don't need to be God's PR agents
• 7:19
  trying to go around and make God out to be more gentle than he
• 7:24
  is. Vengeance is God's friends.
• 7:26
  But in the meantime and in between time, you and I are
• 7:30
  called to war on our knees and we are called to be gentle and
• 7:37
  meek just as Christ was. We do not need to think of
• 7:43
  others as the problem. It is the spirit behind people
• 7:49
  that we war against. Friends.
• 7:50
  Never forget that. Three.
• 7:54
  For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish and
• 7:58
  disobedient, deceived, serving diverse lusts and pleasures,
• 8:03
  living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.
• 8:12
  It could not be more plain friends.
• 8:14
  We were once just like them. And that is why we do not exact
• 8:24
  vengeance upon our enemies. We allow God to do that.
• 8:28
  He can come in the camp and slay 185,000 Assyrians and one night.
• 8:34
  Friends, it is God's will that we are after, not our own
• 8:41
  selfish will that just wants a nice cushy, comfortable life.
• 8:49
  We want what God wants and if it brings God the most amount of
• 8:54
  glory for us to have to be tried and tested and refined, friends,
• 9:01
  then do. Do not be those that complain
• 9:04
  all the way and mumble and grumble all the way and want to
• 9:08
  go back into bondage the entire time that He's leading us.
• 9:12
  Friends, we should not be those. We need to know that we were
• 9:17
  once deceived and we were once those who were hostile towards
• 9:23
  God. And the Bible is clear.
• 9:26
  If you have two coats, sell one and get yourself a sword.
• 9:30
  And the Bible is clear, friends, that a strongman armed keepeth
• 9:34
  his house. It's different whenever we're
• 9:37
  talking about the protection of innocent life.
• 9:44
  It's different, friends. Whenever we're talking about
• 9:48
  being able to defend yourselves against people, that's a
• 9:55
  different story all in itself. It's not as if we are just the
• 10:08
  lambs who get overtaken by the wolves.
• 10:10
  We need to be as innocent as doves and as shrewd as snakes,
• 10:15
  friends. And Jesus was clear that it is
• 10:19
  okay for us to defend ourselves, but it is not okay to be the
• 10:23
  ones who are seeking out and persecuting and actually going
• 10:32
  and doing the harm. It is not becoming of a St.
• 10:37
  friends and there is a delicate balance and you must thread the
• 10:41
  needle, Friends, But it is not just carte blanche.
• 10:44
  It is not just a blanket statement that we are to just
• 10:49
  lay down. That is not the case.
• 10:52
  You need to remember that what we war against is the evil that
• 10:57
  is in the world and we war against it in our prayer life.
• 11:01
  And we watch God do the vengeance.
• 11:06
  We watch God be the one who is able to reach those that we
• 11:14
  cannot in ways that bring him the most amount of glory.
• 11:18
  And that is a hard lesson for many people who are stuck trying
• 11:21
  to figure out what is the role of a Christian in this day and
• 11:25
  this hour, friends? And you need to know that it is
• 11:30
  a delicate balance, and you need to know when God is calling you
• 11:34
  to lay down your sword and when God is calling you to take up
• 11:40
  your sword. Friends.
• 11:41
  And we do war with the word of God.
• 11:44
  We do war, friends, with the shield of faith.
• 11:49
  We do war with the helmet of salvation.
• 11:52
  We do war with the belt of truth, the breastplate of
• 11:56
  righteousness. We shod the shoes of the gospel
• 11:59
  of peace. And that is the the weapons of
• 12:02
  our warfare. And we go to battle each and
• 12:05
  every day. And so many people want to
• 12:08
  outpace God and they want to do things that they want to do.
• 12:11
  And then they want to ask God to cosign upon it.
• 12:14
  And it does not work that way for but after that the kindness
• 12:20
  and love of God, our Savior toward man appeared.
• 12:24
  So you need to know that you were once hostile towards God
• 12:28
  and God stepped in and God is the one that drew you to
• 12:32
  himself. And we through faith we had
• 12:37
  grace enough to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and our
• 12:42
  Savior. And we are eternally blessed
• 12:46
  because of that one decision. And our hearts desire should be
• 12:50
  for there to be people there from every camp, every
• 12:55
  nationality, every single skin color, every tongue.
• 13:00
  That is our heart. Friends, we cannot just keep
• 13:07
  company with those who are believers.
• 13:11
  We need to be going into the hardest of the darkest places
• 13:14
  and snatching those fire brands out of the fire and allowing God
• 13:19
  to do the same thing for them that He did for us. 5 Not by
• 13:25
  works of righteousness, which we have done, but according to His
• 13:30
  mercy. He saved us by the washing every
• 13:33
  generation and the renewing of the Holy Ghost.
• 13:37
  We need to not be conformed to this world, but to be
• 13:41
  transformed by the renewing of our mind, by the washing over of
• 13:45
  the Word of God, meditating upon God's Word which is alive and
• 13:49
  active and sharper than any 2 edged sword.
• 13:52
  We need the Word of God saturating us to our DNA inside
• 13:57
  the marrow of our bones. We need the Word of God to guide
• 14:02
  us and lead us and direct us in all matters and at all times.
• 14:07
  It should be our North Star. It should be our compass.
• 14:10
  It should be the morals that we keep.
• 14:13
  It should be the integrity that we have.
• 14:15
  God's Word is what we need to get us home, Friends 6 which He
• 14:24
  shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.
• 14:28
  So Jesus came and He told us that He is the only way unto the
• 14:33
  Father. No one will get to the Father
• 14:35
  except through Jesus Christ, and that is the reality and we do
• 14:40
  not apologize for that. He is the only way to God
• 14:44
  Almighty Seven, that being justified by His grace, we
• 14:49
  should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
• 14:53
  We are heirs of eternal life and we will rule and reign with Him
• 14:57
  for 1000 years before the New Jerusalem.

  Before we go to where the street of gold is, friends, where the
• 15:07
  river of life is, friends in the trees on the sides that bear
• 15:12
  fruit in their season and the leaves that are used for the
• 15:16
  healing of the nation and the gates that are never closed.
• 15:20
  Friends, this New Jerusalem that we push towards, we are the
• 15:24
  heirs of that by placing our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
• 15:29
  Not on ourself, not on money, not on government, not on our
• 15:33
  abilities, not on another person.
• 15:36
  It's Jesus Christ alone who is going to get us into all of
• 15:43
  heaven for all of eternity. He is the only way.
• 15:47
  Friends, a this is a faithful saying.
• 15:50
  In these things I will that you affirm constantly that they
• 15:55
  which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good
• 16:00
  works. These things are good and
• 16:02
  profitable unto men. So that is the thing.
• 16:05
  It's not just your blessed assurance.
• 16:10
  And then once you get the Get out of Hell free card, then you
• 16:14
  just go back to life as normal. You go back to all of the trash.
• 16:19
  You go back to all the disgusting things and practices
• 16:23
  that you once did. Or you are just put up somewhere
• 16:28
  and not effective in the ministry.
• 16:31
  That's not the will of God for your life.
• 16:33
  He calls you into these good works that are profitable to
• 16:37
  help people, Friends, to actually go out and put your
• 16:41
  faith to the test. It's one thing for us to say it,
• 16:45
  and it's a whole nother thing for us to live it and to be
• 16:48
  about it. Friends 9 But avoid foolish
• 16:51
  questions and genealogies and contentions and strivings about
• 16:56
  the Law, for they are unprofitable and vain.
• 16:59
  These are the Judaizers. These are the ones of the
• 17:03
  concision. These are the ones who try to
• 17:05
  push all of the Jewish law on to the early Christians.
• 17:11
  These are those who are of the Jewish roots movements, and they
• 17:15
  try to hold all the days and the festivals and it is not
• 17:19
  profitable. It is just vanity, Friends. 10A
• 17:25
  man that is a heretic after the 1st and 2nd admonition reject 11
• 17:31
  knowing that he that is such is subverted and sins being
• 17:37
  condemned of himself, warned A divisive person once and then
• 17:41
  warned him again after that have nothing to do with them, for you
• 17:46
  can be sure that they are warped and self condemned.
• 17:50
  That is the posture here friends.
• 17:54
  He's telling us that a man that teaches the wrong things, you
• 17:59
  need to go to him two times and warn him if he is being divisive
• 18:05
  and then after that you are free and clear.
• 18:08
  You wash your hands, you shake the dust off your boots, because
• 18:12
  you know that he is subverted and that he is self condemned.
• 18:22
  12 When I shall send Artemis unto you.

  And Ticacus, be diligent to come unto me to Nekopolis, for I have
• 18:31
  determined to winter there. So Paul here is going to give
• 18:35
  some personal remarks. And you can see that Paul was a
• 18:39
  real man and that he had these friends.
• 18:42
  And it's such a wonderful ending to this beautiful letter to
• 18:47
  Titus. And we see that Paul was very
• 18:52
  much like a father figure and God had entrusted so much to him
• 18:58
  and he was freely giving it out to all those.

  And we can trace it all back and we can know that it is
• 19:05
  trustworthy, it is reliable, and it is true.
• 19:09
  And this is not just some fable storybook, some fairy tale spin
• 19:15
  on how to live a good life before you leave Earth.
• 19:21
  These basic constructions. This is the reality of God's
• 19:25
  Word breathed on these pages, pinned by the hands of men who
• 19:30
  were inspired by God and the Holy Spirit. 13 brings zenith
• 19:35
  the lawyer and Apollo's on the journey diligently that nothing
• 19:39
  be wanting unto them. So he's saying, take care of my
• 19:43
  friends that are bringing the letter. 14 and let ours also
• 19:47
  learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not
• 19:52
  unfruitful. It is works friends, that shows
• 19:59
  our faith. And it is faith without works is
• 20:02
  dead, which we'll learn soon. But you need to understand that
• 20:06
  it is not the works that get us into heaven, but it is the works
• 20:11
  that prove our position in Christ Jesus.
• 20:15
  And anyone who is a lover of Jesus will naturally want to be
• 20:20
  his hands and feet and produce much fruit.
