“The future of fertility will…” — that’s the question Dr. Angie Beltsos posed to our panel on innovation in the patient experience.
My answer: innovation isn’t always a new device or a breakthrough technology. Sometimes the most powerful innovation is empathy. I know because I lived it.
When I was told my prognosis was “futile,” I had two choices — be a passenger in my own tragedy, or become the CEO of my fertility treatment. Empathy and support are what make that possible. They’re what turn a clinical process into a human one.
