- 0:00Speaker 1: He unzipped that body bag. He started feeling around for
- 0:04Speaker 1: a pulse, didn't feel any. Completely opened my eyes to
- 0:08Speaker 1: why we're here on Earth and truly understanding that Earth
- 0:11Speaker 1: is a school and it will never be a courtroom.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Welcome to Prioritize Your Life and PrioritizeYourLife.com. I'm excited today
- 0:27Speaker 2: to be here with Vinnie Tolman. This is exciting.
- 0:30Speaker 1: I love this kind of thing. I love, um, sharing
- 0:33Speaker 1: inspirational experiences, inspirational stories. So thank you for all that
- 0:37Speaker 1: you do.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Oh, thank you.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Well, uh, my experience, it is, uh, considered an ADE
- 0:43Speaker 1: or an after death experience. Um, I'm, I'm classified in
- 0:47Speaker 1: the group of people that have had these as a
- 0:50Speaker 1: body bagger where I was revived out of a body bag. And, uh,
- 0:54Speaker 1: my experience starts, um, back in 2003. I was a
- 0:59Speaker 1: bodybuilder or amateur bodybuilder. No titles, not even any serious
- 1:05Speaker 1: competition at all. Just an amateur, just working on the
- 1:08Speaker 1: body a lot. We had a supplement that worked really well.
- 1:13Speaker 1: It would help your muscles recover a lot faster than normal.
- 1:17Speaker 1: So you could go to the gym and work out
- 1:18Speaker 1: the same muscle group every day. And we ordered some
- 1:23Speaker 1: of this stuff online. It was sold out locally everywhere.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Ordered it online and when it came, It had writing
- 1:29Speaker 1: in Thai, you know, the Thai script. And my buddy
- 1:34Speaker 1: and I, neither of us read or knew how to
- 1:37Speaker 1: read Thai script.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Yeah. But we opened the bottle. It smelled the same
- 1:41Speaker 2: as the American stuff. So we figured, hey, it's the same.
- 1:44Speaker 2: We each took just a liquid bottle cap. That's it.
- 1:47Speaker 1: And that's normally all you need. And that's going to
- 1:50Speaker 1: help your muscle recovery much faster.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Yeah. So we both took it.
- 1:54Speaker 1: And within minutes, we could feel that this was different
- 1:59Speaker 1: I could feel a coldness going over my, like almost
- 2:02Speaker 1: from my heart area down the rest of my body.
- 2:05Speaker 1: And later, you know, in my life, I've had surgery.
- 2:08Speaker 1: And when they do IV anesthesia, that's exactly what it
- 2:12Speaker 1: feels like. It's like going to the heart first and
- 2:14Speaker 1: then spreading. That's what I felt. I felt like that
- 2:17Speaker 1: coldness coming over. And so I knew something was wrong.
- 2:20Speaker 2: So did my body.
- 2:22Speaker 1: We decided to go down to a little local burger
- 2:25Speaker 1: joint that was open for breakfast.
- 2:28Speaker 2: We went down there.
- 2:29Speaker 1: This happened January 18, 2003, in the morning. We go
- 2:33Speaker 1: down to this place. We barely make it in. I
- 2:37Speaker 1: make it directly into the bathroom, and it's a single-use bathroom,
- 2:40Speaker 1: so I lock the door. Just out of habit, single-use bathroom.
- 2:43Speaker 1: You close that door, you lock it. As soon as
- 2:46Speaker 1: I got in there, just the world was spinning on me.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I felt like everything was spinning. I fell back and
- 2:55Speaker 1: passed out, collapsed on my back. And it was there
- 2:59Speaker 1: that I started to vomit. I aspirated and I died
- 3:04Speaker 1: right then and there on that floor. And the next
- 3:07Speaker 1: thing I know, I am now looking down at this
- 3:11Speaker 1: scene from above and I am seeing a dead body.
- 3:15Speaker 1: But there's no way it was me because me was
- 3:19Speaker 1: up here like looking down. It was not even possible
- 3:24Speaker 1: for me to even think that that could have been me.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I just thought, hmm, this is interesting. I'm now sitting
- 3:30Speaker 1: up here watching this. It almost felt like I was
- 3:32Speaker 1: in a very comfortable chair watching a movie, but watching
- 3:38Speaker 1: the whole scene from above. And I watched this ambulance crew.
- 3:43Speaker 1: It was already there by the time I was in
- 3:47Speaker 1: this space where I was looking down, and the ambulance
- 3:49Speaker 1: crew was dealing with my buddy. He had walked in
- 3:53Speaker 1: the restaurant, Collapsed on the first booth and vomited. Same
- 3:59Speaker 1: as I, but he was on that booth. Manager saw
- 4:02Speaker 1: what was going on. He called emergency services. They got
- 4:05Speaker 1: an ambulance there. They took him away and I was
- 4:08Speaker 1: watching them, you know, wheel him away on a gurney
- 4:11Speaker 1: and put him in the ambulance. And I tried to
- 4:13Speaker 1: follow that ambulance. And as I tried to follow, I
- 4:17Speaker 1: only made it about a half of a block. And
- 4:19Speaker 1: then I felt like this pulling back. And so now
- 4:24Speaker 1: I was back again, hovering over this, this scene at
- 4:27Speaker 1: the restaurant. And I kept looking kind of centered on
- 4:31Speaker 1: this dead body. Like I, I just felt horrible for
- 4:35Speaker 1: whoever this was that nobody knew that he was in
- 4:38Speaker 1: there and he was dead. I could hear the thoughts
- 4:42Speaker 1: of everyone in that place, including, you know, customers and guests.
- 4:47Speaker 1: I could hear the cook in the back. I could
- 4:49Speaker 1: hear the manager. Even his assistant manager, I could hear
- 4:52Speaker 1: her thoughts. It was just very odd. And, you know,
- 4:57Speaker 1: I had worked in the movie industry. So I thought
- 4:59Speaker 1: this is very interesting that a director of photography or
- 5:03Speaker 1: a director would decide we're going to shoot this from
- 5:05Speaker 1: above and have the viewer hearing everyone's thoughts.
- 5:09Speaker 2: I thought that was just such a weird choice. But
- 5:12Speaker 2: I also thought, hmm, that's kind of artistic.
- 5:15Speaker 1: So maybe I'll interpret it differently as this plays out
- 5:19Speaker 1: as I'm watching it. And I have this, I hear
- 5:23Speaker 1: this one customer, he kept thinking, like, why is that
- 5:26Speaker 1: bathroom still locked? And he kept going and trying to
- 5:29Speaker 1: use that, like open that bathroom door. And it wasn't locked,
- 5:33Speaker 1: it was locked, he couldn't open it up. After like
- 5:35Speaker 1: the third try, he went to the manager and said, hey,
- 5:38Speaker 1: you know, can you open that door? And he did say,
- 5:41Speaker 1: I think there's somebody in there in trouble because I
- 5:43Speaker 1: keep hearing a phone ringing in there. And sure enough,
- 5:47Speaker 1: the manager opened that door and found a dead body
- 5:50Speaker 1: on the ground.
- 5:52Speaker 2: He called emergency services.
- 5:55Speaker 1: And while he was on the phone, he was coaching
- 5:57Speaker 1: his assistant manager to like, you know, feel for a pulse.
- 6:02Speaker 1: And as she was feeling for a pulse, she even
- 6:04Speaker 1: felt like around the neck area. It was, you know,
- 6:07Speaker 1: covered with vomit, with sick. So it was disgusting to her.
- 6:12Speaker 1: But as soon as she touched the skin, she like
- 6:15Speaker 1: recoiled back and she's like, He's cold.
- 6:18Speaker 2: It's cold.
- 6:20Speaker 1: And as soon as the operator on the phone heard that,
- 6:25Speaker 1: they said, you know what, just secure the room. Make
- 6:27Speaker 1: sure nobody gets in there. We already have, you know,
- 6:31Speaker 1: medical services coming as well as police. So, you know,
- 6:35Speaker 1: they waited a few minutes. It was very quick, right?
- 6:38Speaker 1: Pretty much right after that. Only maybe three to five
- 6:40Speaker 1: minutes from my perspective. A second ambulance was there. And yeah,
- 6:48Speaker 1: this crew is a three-man crew. Those are kind of rare,
- 6:51Speaker 1: but this one is a three-man crew because there was
- 6:53Speaker 1: a brand new guy, a rookie, and he was kind
- 6:55Speaker 1: of shadowing the two veterans. And they came out. The
- 7:01Speaker 1: two veterans ascertained that the body was dead. They did
- 7:05Speaker 1: try to do some chest compressions, trying to see if
- 7:09Speaker 1: they could get any sign of life.
- 7:10Speaker 2: They couldn't.
- 7:11Speaker 1: So they did pronounce dead on arrival. They sent that
- 7:14Speaker 1: rookie in to go get a body back They, you know,
- 7:18Speaker 1: rolled out this body bag, got the body into it.
- 7:23Speaker 1: They did do this little packet thing where they cut
- 7:28Speaker 1: like a section of the skin. And I don't know
- 7:31Speaker 1: what they're doing, but they also did all of that.
- 7:34Speaker 1: All of this was going on. And I'm just feeling
- 7:38Speaker 1: like horrible for whoever this is and their family and
- 7:43Speaker 1: thinking this is such a horrible thing. The whole time
- 7:45Speaker 1: I could hear this rookie. The rookie kept saying to himself,
- 7:50Speaker 1: this sucks. Like, why can't we keep doing something more
- 7:53Speaker 1: for this one? And he kept telling himself in his mind,
- 7:56Speaker 1: why are you even doing this job if they're not
- 7:59Speaker 1: going to let you do this job? Because he wanted
- 8:01Speaker 1: to do more. But the veteran medics are like, nope,
- 8:04Speaker 1: this is what you do. You follow protocol.
- 8:07Speaker 2: You do this. You know, you attempt this for this long.
- 8:10Speaker 2: If there's no response, you attempt this. There's no response.
- 8:15Speaker 1: You pronounce death on arrival. So that was a frustrating
- 8:20Speaker 1: thing for him and for me because I was siding
- 8:23Speaker 1: with him like, why aren't they trying harder for this guy?
- 8:27Speaker 2: They went ahead and bagged the body.
- 8:29Speaker 1: They had the rookie watch the body in the back
- 8:33Speaker 1: of the ambulance. And his job was just to sit
- 8:36Speaker 1: back there on this little jump chair that folds down.
- 8:39Speaker 1: He was sitting there just kind of babysitting the body
- 8:42Speaker 1: while the other two medics went around and They were
- 8:44Speaker 1: asking for like witness statements, like basic witness statements. They
- 8:50Speaker 1: went ahead and they got all that cleared up, got
- 8:54Speaker 1: some statements. They went in to the ambulance and right
- 8:59Speaker 1: as they're about to pull away, a police officer showed up.
- 9:02Speaker 1: And so the head medic, he got out and they
- 9:06Speaker 1: exchanged some information. And from my perspective, it looked like
- 9:10Speaker 1: he was giving him some paperwork too or a copy
- 9:13Speaker 1: of the paperwork. And the police officer cleared them, yeah,
- 9:17Speaker 1: go ahead and turn this body into the medical examiner.
- 9:21Speaker 1: And so that's what they did. They drove down the
- 9:24Speaker 1: street about a block and a half, and they were
- 9:29Speaker 1: on their way to the medical examiner when right at
- 9:32Speaker 1: this about block, block and a half mark down the
- 9:34Speaker 1: road from the actual death scene, the rookie medic where
- 9:39Speaker 1: he was sitting in the back, he started to actually
- 9:41Speaker 1: have light, real light, start to glow out of him,
- 9:46Speaker 1: out of his heart space. It was as if there
- 9:49Speaker 1: was a really bright floodlight inside of his shirt. That's
- 9:54Speaker 1: what it looked like to me. And as that light
- 9:57Speaker 1: started to grow, it was growing And then I heard
- 10:01Speaker 1: really loud, this one's not dead.
- 10:04Speaker 2: And I feel like he heard it too. Or he
- 10:08Speaker 2: received that message somehow.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Because you know when you're kind of riding as a
- 10:12Speaker 1: passenger in a car, you kind of have like a
- 10:15Speaker 1: relaxed energy as you're riding. And when that message happened,
- 10:19Speaker 1: he went like this. And he went rigid, like, what
- 10:22Speaker 1: was that? And then I heard his mind say, that
- 10:27Speaker 1: was your imagination.
- 10:29Speaker 2: You made that up.
- 10:31Speaker 1: And the next thing I know, they're now another half
- 10:34Speaker 1: block down the road, but the light is even brighter now.
- 10:38Speaker 1: It's grown from his waist to almost above his head,
- 10:41Speaker 1: where light is like coming out of him. And now
- 10:45Speaker 1: for a second time, that voice came and said, this
- 10:48Speaker 1: one's not dead. but it came so loud and so strong.
- 10:53Speaker 1: It was as if he couldn't deny it this time.
- 10:57Speaker 1: So he went ahead, he unzipped that body bag. He
- 11:01Speaker 1: started feeling around for a pulse, didn't feel any. But
- 11:04Speaker 1: he had, you know, to get down to the groin
- 11:07Speaker 1: area where we have a major artery on our bodies,
- 11:09Speaker 1: he had to undo a couple more straps on that
- 11:12Speaker 1: body bag. He undid those straps, felt down there. And
- 11:15Speaker 1: as he was feeling for that artery, that big artery,
- 11:19Speaker 1: He made contact with the femur bone, like the actual
- 11:21Speaker 1: bone of my leg. And when he made that contact,
- 11:25Speaker 1: I felt, where I was sitting, watching this whole thing,
- 11:29Speaker 1: I felt a spark.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Like I jumped.
- 11:32Speaker 1: And even though, technically speaking, I wasn't in my body,
- 11:37Speaker 1: I was attached enough that there was something there. And
- 11:41Speaker 1: he jumped too. So we both jumped as soon as
- 11:44Speaker 1: that spark, that little spark flashed. was felt by both
- 11:49Speaker 1: of us. He jumped and kind of flinched a little.
- 11:53Speaker 1: But to him, that was enough of a sign that
- 11:55Speaker 1: he was going to go ahead and break protocol and
- 11:58Speaker 1: try to resuscitate this body. Well, you know, that's something
- 12:02Speaker 1: you're not supposed to do.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Yeah, especially a rookie. Yeah, especially a rookie.
- 12:07Speaker 1: The other two medics didn't notice right at first what
- 12:10Speaker 1: he was doing. But as soon as he hooked up
- 12:12Speaker 1: the defib machine and started making all the alarm bells,
- 12:16Speaker 1: they looked back and they They're saying, hey, what are
- 12:21Speaker 1: you doing? You can't do this. You're going to get fired.
- 12:24Speaker 1: This is against the law. This is against protocol. You
- 12:27Speaker 1: have to treat a dead body with certain respects. You
- 12:30Speaker 1: can't do this kind of stuff. And it was as
- 12:33Speaker 1: if he didn't hear them at all. He went ahead
- 12:36Speaker 1: and let the defib machine charge the body or hit
- 12:40Speaker 1: it with electricity, the heart area with electricity. And the
- 12:44Speaker 1: body jolted, but that was it. There was a jolt, though.
- 12:48Speaker 1: The second time, he went ahead with the second shock.
- 12:52Speaker 1: With the second charge, there was a single heartbeat, and
- 12:55Speaker 1: then it was back to flatline or no heartbeat. And
- 12:58Speaker 1: then the third round, he went ahead for that third round,
- 13:04Speaker 1: and instantly, as soon as the shock happened, there was
- 13:07Speaker 1: a steady heartbeat. And, you know, one of the miracles,
- 13:11Speaker 1: because I feel there's multiple miracles in my experience, just many. Yeah.
- 13:16Speaker 1: One of the miracles to me is the fact that
- 13:18Speaker 1: he followed that prompting and broke protocol. Because I wouldn't
- 13:23Speaker 1: be here speaking with you, at least not in physical form.
- 13:29Speaker 1: But yeah, so he was my saving angel on this
- 13:35Speaker 1: side of things on earth. He was the one who
- 13:38Speaker 1: broke protocol, put his brand new job on the line. Later,
- 13:43Speaker 1: I did find out he did get in quite a
- 13:44Speaker 1: bit of trouble And he transferred, a lateral transfer to
- 13:48Speaker 1: a different department as a fireman medic because of all this.
- 13:53Speaker 1: So for him, he felt that was enough motivation. But
- 13:58Speaker 1: that's kind of where my story begins, is right there
- 14:02Speaker 1: where I died and they brought my body back. I
- 14:05Speaker 1: still didn't know it was me. I thought for sure
- 14:08Speaker 1: this was some type of.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Kind of multi-experiential entertainment of some sort. I didn't understand
- 14:17Speaker 1: what it was. I just knew that I was very
- 14:20Speaker 1: involved with my emotions and my heart with everything that
- 14:23Speaker 1: was going on. I watched them transfer the body from
- 14:28Speaker 1: the ambulance into the hospital gurney because I think God
- 14:35Speaker 1: or happenstance, whatever you want to believe, it had this
- 14:39Speaker 1: play out that the heart started within about a hundred
- 14:43Speaker 1: or a couple hundred feet of the hospital. So they
- 14:46Speaker 1: were right there that when the heart started, they were
- 14:49Speaker 1: able to route directly into this hospital. And they were
- 14:53Speaker 1: able to get the body in, get a team there,
- 14:56Speaker 1: a trauma team ready to meet it. They were working on,
- 15:00Speaker 1: you know, all the different systems of the body. There
- 15:03Speaker 1: was a lot going on. The body was going into
- 15:05Speaker 1: full seizures and vomiting, more things coming out of the
- 15:11Speaker 1: stomach and And as I was all happening, I just
- 15:14Speaker 1: felt this was not good. I felt horrible for whoever
- 15:19Speaker 1: this was. But I also knew that somehow I was involved.
- 15:24Speaker 1: I didn't know how yet, though. As they brought the
- 15:29Speaker 1: body into the hospital, because of the seizures, they had
- 15:33Speaker 1: to strap the legs and the arms down so that
- 15:36Speaker 1: they could work on the different systems that they needed
- 15:40Speaker 1: to work on. And as they strapped the legs, I
- 15:43Speaker 1: didn't feel anything. As they strapped the right arm, I
- 15:45Speaker 1: didn't feel anything. But I'm left-handed, and as they strapped
- 15:48Speaker 1: the left arm, I felt someone pulling my left arm down.
- 15:52Speaker 2: And I resisted. I literally resisted.
- 15:55Speaker 1: And I pulled so much so that I looked down
- 16:00Speaker 1: where I was watching this body in the scene, and
- 16:02Speaker 1: I watched the body break the strap that they were
- 16:05Speaker 1: trying to use. And so then they had to come
- 16:08Speaker 1: with a second strap, a big strap, And they put
- 16:10Speaker 1: that one on the left arm. It looked just like
- 16:12Speaker 1: the ones they put on the legs. And that's when
- 16:17Speaker 1: I had this moment where what you're watching is you.
- 16:23Speaker 2: And I.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Felt such an idiot. Like how could I have been
- 16:29Speaker 1: watching this whole time my own body in front of
- 16:32Speaker 1: me and not know it was me? Like how is
- 16:36Speaker 1: that possible? I felt so dumb. I felt so ignorant.
- 16:42Speaker 1: And so as soon as I had those thoughts, like,
- 16:44Speaker 1: this is you. And it almost like my mind voice said,
- 16:48Speaker 1: this is you, idiot. All these very kind of self-demeaning thoughts.
- 16:56Speaker 1: And I actually started to see every little bad thing
- 17:00Speaker 1: I did in my whole life.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Everything.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Even from a little baby. You know, four or five
- 17:07Speaker 1: years old. All the way up to that date at
- 17:10Speaker 1: 25 years old, I saw everything bad or anything that
- 17:13Speaker 1: I had a bad intention. I saw what happened, but
- 17:17Speaker 1: I also saw it from the perspective of those around me.
- 17:22Speaker 1: And it was so weird because it felt like only
- 17:24Speaker 1: a few seconds, but at the same time, I saw
- 17:27Speaker 1: it all and I was very conscious of even the
- 17:29Speaker 1: littlest things that I did that were not positive and
- 17:33Speaker 1: that were negative and the impact of those negative things.
- 17:38Speaker 1: And then I started to have this feeling come into me.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Like, look at you. Look at what this is.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Are you even worth existing? And that's when I started
- 17:49Speaker 1: to feel this warmth. And the same way that when
- 17:53Speaker 1: I first took that supplement and that coolness started to
- 17:57Speaker 1: come over me, it was the opposite.
- 17:59Speaker 2: It was warmth.
- 18:01Speaker 1: And instead of coming from the front side of me,
- 18:03Speaker 1: the warmth was coming from behind me, around my back.
- 18:06Speaker 1: from about my lungs or my chest area. And this
- 18:10Speaker 1: warmth just started to completely envelop me. And as it
- 18:14Speaker 1: came over my shoulders, it's almost like you're getting a
- 18:18Speaker 1: hug from a cloud.
- 18:20Speaker 2: That's what it felt like.
- 18:21Speaker 1: It just felt this enveloping warmth coming over me. Then
- 18:27Speaker 1: I started to see all the good I ever did.
- 18:30Speaker 2: And there was a lot. I did a lot of
- 18:32Speaker 2: good things.
- 18:33Speaker 1: But I also got to see Sometimes when I didn't
- 18:36Speaker 1: even know I was doing good, I was doing good
- 18:38Speaker 1: and making a difference for people. And I got to
- 18:41Speaker 1: see kind of the butterfly effect of how they reacted
- 18:45Speaker 1: and were able to go forth and put more good
- 18:48Speaker 1: energy out into the universe. And that's when I started
- 18:52Speaker 1: to recognize that the energy I was feeling was love.
- 18:56Speaker 1: But the weird part is it was a love I
- 18:58Speaker 1: had never felt before.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Not in this life. I....
- 19:04Speaker 1: Feel that we come from that love, all of us.
- 19:08Speaker 1: And I've missed it because as I felt it, I
- 19:13Speaker 1: embraced every bit of it.
- 19:16Speaker 2: And it made me feel.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Like I was a missing piece from a puzzle and
- 19:21Speaker 1: now I was being put back in the puzzle. I
- 19:24Speaker 1: felt that that's the energy I was supposed to always
- 19:28Speaker 1: be feeling my whole life. And as that love came
- 19:33Speaker 1: over me, I I recognized it was directionally coming from
- 19:36Speaker 1: behind me. And it wasn't coming from looking at this scene,
- 19:40Speaker 1: but it was coming from behind me. So I turned around.
- 19:43Speaker 1: As I turned around, I see, like, I swear, you
- 19:47Speaker 1: look like the Hollywood version.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Of, like, God.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Is this you know white man with very pink skin
- 19:54Speaker 1: long white beard long white hair in a white suit
- 19:58Speaker 1: white pants and I the love that his eyes were
- 20:05Speaker 1: giving me is better than all the good things on
- 20:11Speaker 1: this earth added up together. It completely changed me just
- 20:17Speaker 1: seeing him. And my first thought was, oh, this is God.
- 20:25Speaker 1: And he just smiled and he goes, no, son, I'm
- 20:27Speaker 1: not God. And I felt confused. It's like, but this
- 20:33Speaker 1: is what I grew up thinking God was going to
- 20:36Speaker 1: look like.
- 20:36Speaker 2: And here you are. If you're not God, then Are
- 20:41Speaker 2: you Jesus?
- 20:42Speaker 1: Like, I was just trying to figure things out. And
- 20:45Speaker 1: he said, no, son, I'm not Jesus. He explained, he said, Vinny,
- 20:50Speaker 1: and this is a new thing for me. He was
- 20:54Speaker 1: communicating with me and me with him without using our
- 20:58Speaker 1: language at all. He said, Vinny, I'm here to be
- 21:01Speaker 1: your guide. And I love you.
- 21:05Speaker 2: I want to take you wherever you want to go.
- 21:09Speaker 2: And he said, He.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Explained that those who love him call him Drake. And
- 21:15Speaker 1: so I said, okay, Drake, you know, this sounds good.
- 21:20Speaker 1: And I repeated back to him, anywhere.
- 21:23Speaker 2: In the universe? Like anywhere? And he said, yes, anywhere.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Anywhere in the universe you want to go, I can
- 21:29Speaker 1: take you there. And I thought about it for half
- 21:33Speaker 1: of a millisecond. You know, all my little boy sci-fi
- 21:37Speaker 1: brain was thinking like, oh, this place, this place, this place.
- 21:42Speaker 1: And then instantly I knew I wanted to go wherever
- 21:46Speaker 1: this love was coming from. I was raised in a pretty,
- 21:51Speaker 1: really rough upbringing. And I had a lot of brokenness
- 21:55Speaker 1: in me. And this love was fixing it. It was
- 21:58Speaker 1: actively fixing it as I sat there. And so I
- 22:02Speaker 1: knew I wanted more of that. I wanted more of whatever.
- 22:04Speaker 2: This love is.
- 22:06Speaker 1: So I told him, I said, Drake, I want to
- 22:08Speaker 1: go wherever this love is coming from, this energy that
- 22:12Speaker 1: you're sharing with me. I want to go wherever that
- 22:15Speaker 1: comes from. So he expressed that this is an energy
- 22:19Speaker 1: that we all have access to. We only get very
- 22:23Speaker 1: limited versions of it here on Earth. And he described
- 22:27Speaker 1: Earth as being a school. We visited that later, but
- 22:32Speaker 1: he said on Earth school, this kind of love is
- 22:35Speaker 1: very rare, and you only get small versions of it,
- 22:39Speaker 1: but if you want, I can take you to your home.
- 22:43Speaker 1: And I said, my home? How is that place my home?
- 22:50Speaker 1: I came from earth, and he explained that no, I
- 22:53Speaker 1: didn't come from earth. That my home, where he could
- 22:57Speaker 1: take me, what we would call heaven, that's our home.
- 23:01Speaker 1: That he could take me back there. And so we
- 23:04Speaker 1: began this journey.
- 23:05Speaker 2: I said, yeah, let's do it. Let's do this.
- 23:08Speaker 1: And we began this journey. And meanwhile, they did resuscitate
- 23:13Speaker 1: my body. I was brain dead. And I was brain
- 23:16Speaker 1: dead for three days. And while I was brain dead,
- 23:22Speaker 1: I was having my experience with Drake. I got to
- 23:29Speaker 1: learn some very beautiful principles that... completely opened my eyes
- 23:36Speaker 1: to why we're here on earth what we're doing here
- 23:39Speaker 1: what we're supposed to be doing and and not just
- 23:42Speaker 1: that understanding the rules of the game at earth school
- 23:48Speaker 1: and and truly understanding that earth is a school it's
- 23:52Speaker 1: always been a classroom for us and it will never
- 23:55Speaker 1: be a courtroom there's a lot of you know different
- 24:00Speaker 1: people out there saying that we're here to be you know, judged, kept,
- 24:05Speaker 1: or thrown away.
- 24:07Speaker 2: And that's not the case at all.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Yeah, he explained that everyone here, if we make it
- 24:13Speaker 1: to earth school, just to make it here, in the
- 24:17Speaker 1: realm of existence and life, we're already the cream of
- 24:21Speaker 1: the crop. If we can just get here to earth school,
- 24:25Speaker 1: it's like the hardest school there is for souls. And
- 24:29Speaker 1: so that's one of the, the beautiful things that I
- 24:32Speaker 1: was able to learn from him that, you know, why
- 24:34Speaker 1: we come here is very different than what most people believe.
- 24:38Speaker 1: And it's definitely not to go and earn some great
- 24:41Speaker 1: income because we don't get to take that with us.
- 24:44Speaker 1: But in that process of helping me understand the real
- 24:51Speaker 1: fundamental principles that we could all implement into our lives
- 24:56Speaker 1: that will get us in alignment, so that we have
- 25:00Speaker 1: that trajectory to strengthen ourselves through our earth school experience.
- 25:06Speaker 2: So that we're.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Ready when we graduate, we get to go and be
- 25:11Speaker 1: ready for what's next, for going home and really celebrating
- 25:16Speaker 1: that return. And it was just an absolutely amazing journey.
- 25:22Speaker 1: One of the first things he taught me was above
- 25:26Speaker 1: all things, authenticity is more important than anything in our
- 25:30Speaker 1: lives here. And the reason why is because we can't grow,
- 25:35Speaker 1: we can't learn, and we can't love or be loved
- 25:38Speaker 1: unless we're authentic first. And when we are finding real
- 25:42Speaker 1: actual love in this life, or we're giving real love,
- 25:48Speaker 1: it's only in a way that we can be authentic.
- 25:51Speaker 1: And if we can kind of, you know, bring authenticity
- 25:55Speaker 1: into our whole being, That gives us the ability to
- 25:59Speaker 1: build ourselves and grow at a foundational level.
- 26:05Speaker 2: In our school.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Yeah, that was a big aha that authenticity is so important.
- 26:12Speaker 1: You know, Drake, he brought me through essentially nine or
- 26:16Speaker 1: ten more, nine more but ten total principles that he
- 26:20Speaker 1: taught me about. And he didn't teach them to me
- 26:22Speaker 1: like here's principle one, here's principle two. He taught me
- 26:26Speaker 1: He was just observing me and saying, okay, here's what
- 26:29Speaker 1: we want to learn next. Here's what I want to
- 26:31Speaker 1: show you next. And I didn't have to say that
- 26:33Speaker 1: I accepted what he was trying to teach me. All
- 26:36Speaker 1: I had to do is say I was willing to
- 26:38Speaker 1: believe it was possible.
- 26:40Speaker 2: That's it.
- 26:41Speaker 1: As long as I was willing to believe it was possible,
- 26:42Speaker 1: I could keep going with him. And while we made
- 26:46Speaker 1: it all the way towards.
- 26:47Speaker 2: This amazing, beautiful, just huge space, And to me, it
- 26:57Speaker 2: looked like a planet, but it was far bigger than
- 27:01Speaker 2: any planet in our system. Far bigger.
- 27:04Speaker 1: It felt like you could probably put a million Earths
- 27:09Speaker 1: inside this space. But it also looked like a sun.
- 27:14Speaker 1: And all the light was coming from it, the place
- 27:17Speaker 1: that we were going, our destination. And as we got
- 27:20Speaker 1: closer and closer, I could see that it was so.
- 27:24Speaker 2: From far off, it was like white light coming off
- 27:28Speaker 2: of it.
- 27:28Speaker 1: As we got closer and closer, it's almost like I
- 27:31Speaker 1: had to adjust my light, like this little kid energy
- 27:36Speaker 1: coming out of me as we got closer and closer
- 27:38Speaker 1: and closer. I didn't understand why I was getting so excited.
- 27:43Speaker 1: I was just trying to figure it out, actually, right?
- 27:45Speaker 1: As we touched down and came down, we had come down.
- 27:50Speaker 2: There was this.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Huge mountain, very, very large mountain, I feel like the
- 27:54Speaker 1: mountain itself was as big as our planet.
- 27:57Speaker 2: And we're coming down and we actually touched down.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Next to this mountain, there was like a little lake
- 28:05Speaker 1: and a little river and this big forest and then
- 28:08Speaker 1: these buildings. The primary building was this big building that
- 28:12Speaker 1: we were coming down almost within like a half mile
- 28:17Speaker 1: of it or maybe even a quarter mile of it.
- 28:20Speaker 1: We come down as soon as my feet touch the
- 28:23Speaker 1: ground The first thing I think is, oh, wow, I
- 28:27Speaker 1: have feet. Because, you know, I now knew that I
- 28:32Speaker 1: was dead. But I was looking down and seeing my toes.
- 28:36Speaker 1: I could see my toes. And I saw that my
- 28:38Speaker 1: toes were coming down and touching grass. And the second
- 28:42Speaker 1: that grass, like, touched me, I was instantly flooded with
- 28:48Speaker 1: this light. And it was coming from the grass itself.
- 28:54Speaker 1: And it was more of this love that Drake had
- 28:56Speaker 1: been showing me. And it was just pouring into me
- 29:00Speaker 1: as if I was finding my charger port. And as
- 29:05Speaker 1: soon as my feet touched, I started getting this fulfilling
- 29:10Speaker 1: love energy come over me. And the really cool thing is,
- 29:14Speaker 1: as I look down to see, whoa, this is happening,
- 29:17Speaker 1: I noticed that the grass is so different than anything
- 29:21Speaker 1: on earth. Just millions of shades of green. But the
- 29:26Speaker 1: blades of grass themselves glowed. Light was coming out of them.
- 29:31Speaker 1: There was no external source of light like our sun.
- 29:35Speaker 1: There wasn't that. The light was coming from inside. That's
- 29:38Speaker 1: why I realized that light... comes from everything there. And
- 29:42Speaker 1: so that's why it felt like a sun. It's because
- 29:45Speaker 1: light was coming from everything there. And this grass, it
- 29:50Speaker 1: had like a humor, a consciousness, a loving energy. And
- 29:57Speaker 1: it It was expressing how much it loved me. And
- 30:02Speaker 1: I'm like, this is just grass, but it's so beautiful.
- 30:06Speaker 1: And the grass itself had a sweetness. And just by
- 30:09Speaker 1: touching it, you actually would taste like what I felt
- 30:13Speaker 1: was taste.
- 30:14Speaker 2: I could taste the sweetness. And then I could.
- 30:18Speaker 1: See these like oscillating rainbow, just shimmering rainbows coming off
- 30:25Speaker 1: of the grass itself. almost like it was radiating off
- 30:29Speaker 1: of the grass.
- 30:30Speaker 2: And then there was a very beautiful, it felt like
- 30:36Speaker 2: a concert.
- 30:38Speaker 1: But like at a micro level, you could hear just
- 30:41Speaker 1: this beautiful tone coming off of the grass.
- 30:44Speaker 2: And I was just flabbergasted.
- 30:46Speaker 1: And Drake just kind of sat back and was just
- 30:48Speaker 1: smiling and watching me. And I kept looking to him like.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Can you see this?
- 30:53Speaker 1: Do you believe this is happening? And I'm freaking out.
- 30:56Speaker 1: And he's just laughing. He's having fun with me. And
- 31:01Speaker 1: he lets me calm down a little bit. And then
- 31:04Speaker 1: he goes, he goes, Vicki, if you think the grass
- 31:06Speaker 1: is great, let me show you flowers. And I about
- 31:11Speaker 1: lost it.
- 31:11Speaker 2: I'm like, there's flowers.
- 31:14Speaker 1: And I was now touching the petal of this flower
- 31:18Speaker 1: while I was looking down into the middle of it.
- 31:21Speaker 1: And I could feel the same energy, but even more
- 31:24Speaker 1: beautiful than the grass. And at such a higher level
- 31:27Speaker 1: of love energy, even coming off of that flower. And
- 31:35Speaker 1: as I was just trying to take this all in,
- 31:41Speaker 1: Drake came back and he said, there's also trees.
- 31:44Speaker 2: And I was like, there's trees.
- 31:46Speaker 1: So then he did kind of the same thing. He
- 31:48Speaker 1: let me plug in to the trees. And when I
- 31:52Speaker 1: say plug in, I mean, He allowed my consciousness through
- 31:55Speaker 1: the grass. I was back in the grass and connect
- 32:00Speaker 1: to what is the trees. And I recognize that the
- 32:04Speaker 1: trees themselves are, they feel that they're living beings. They
- 32:09Speaker 1: feel that they have their own consciousness, their own energy
- 32:13Speaker 1: to themselves. And these trees themselves, they just.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Live at a lot slower level than us.
- 32:20Speaker 1: And so we feel that they're like planted in the
- 32:23Speaker 1: ground But they feel like they could walk if they
- 32:26Speaker 1: wanted to. You know, they have just this sacred energy
- 32:31Speaker 1: about them. Pristinely sacred energy. And as I was plugging
- 32:36Speaker 1: into them, I could connect to this supreme consciousness. And
- 32:44Speaker 1: it was the collection of these trees in that area.
- 32:48Speaker 1: And they were expressing to me how much they loved me.
- 32:53Speaker 1: And I'm sitting there thinking thoughts like, why me? And
- 32:57Speaker 1: they said, because you're you. And then they explained that that's.
- 33:02Speaker 2: How they love all creation. Every little piece of creation
- 33:08Speaker 2: they absolutely love this way. And so they expressed and.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Tried to show me things I couldn't understand. But as
- 33:21Speaker 1: I was feeling and receiving all of this, that's when
- 33:25Speaker 1: I noticed there was this building. And I had noticed
- 33:29Speaker 1: it coming in, but I didn't notice notice it, meaning
- 33:32Speaker 1: that as I started to notice what it was, I
- 33:34Speaker 1: could see that it was this huge, vast building. It
- 33:38Speaker 1: was built out of one piece of marble, the entire building,
- 33:42Speaker 1: like everything on that building was built out of this
- 33:45Speaker 1: one huge slab of marble. And I could feel that
- 33:50Speaker 1: there was this beautiful supreme consciousness that in the building itself. And,
- 33:55Speaker 1: and Drake was trying to help me understand what the
- 33:57Speaker 1: building was. And the best I can ascertain is that
- 34:01Speaker 1: it was, it is some type of like university or
- 34:06Speaker 1: place of higher learning, a place where people can go
- 34:10Speaker 1: and learn true, true history, true knowledge, you know, unbiased
- 34:16Speaker 1: and un, un convoluted or, or, um, you know, patronized
- 34:23Speaker 1: or ruined you know like true knowledge and it was
- 34:28Speaker 1: a Place that I watched people as they would go
- 34:31Speaker 1: up to a doorway they would have to match the
- 34:34Speaker 1: energy of that room and Then the doorway would would
- 34:38Speaker 1: actually form in the wall They would go in and
- 34:41Speaker 1: then as soon as they would go through it would
- 34:43Speaker 1: just be sealed as If it was almost like it
- 34:46Speaker 1: was liquid the marvelous self.
- 34:49Speaker 2: I could feel just this.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Overwhelming divine presence of coming over me from all of
- 34:55Speaker 1: these things. And it was like, I had to put
- 34:58Speaker 1: all these puzzle pieces together. And as I was, I
- 35:01Speaker 1: was recognizing that there was this just supreme presence there.
- 35:08Speaker 1: And that I had connected to the grass version and
- 35:12Speaker 1: the flower version and the building version, the trees version. And,
- 35:16Speaker 1: and actually right before the building, I did have, um,
- 35:21Speaker 1: the water actually came over to my toes and it
- 35:25Speaker 1: asked me, the water itself asked, do you want us
- 35:28Speaker 1: on you?
- 35:28Speaker 2: And I said, yes.
- 35:29Speaker 1: I felt as that supreme love that was coming even
- 35:34Speaker 1: from the water. It was washing away and healing every
- 35:39Speaker 1: bit of trauma or damage that I had received in
- 35:41Speaker 1: this life. And I got to feel like a wholeness,
- 35:48Speaker 1: a wholeness that I had never felt before. And it
- 35:52Speaker 1: was life-changing, completely life-changing. Just to go through to this point,
- 35:56Speaker 1: it was completely life-changing. And that's when I was just
- 36:02Speaker 1: full of love. I was grinning so big. I was
- 36:04Speaker 1: so happy. And I was looking to Drake like, Drake,
- 36:07Speaker 1: this is so amazing.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Thank you for bringing me here.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Thank you for allowing me to come to my home.
- 36:14Speaker 1: I now know it was my home. I didn't know
- 36:17Speaker 1: it was until I got there.
- 36:19Speaker 2: But I recognized it was my home.
- 36:21Speaker 1: I couldn't remember being there before yet, but I know
- 36:25Speaker 1: if I had stayed long enough, the memory would have
- 36:27Speaker 1: come back that I had come from that place. And
- 36:30Speaker 1: as I was just expressing this love to him, he
- 36:33Speaker 1: came over to me and he looked me in the
- 36:36Speaker 1: eyes and put his arms around me and gave me
- 36:39Speaker 1: this hug.
- 36:39Speaker 2: And as he did, he helped me understand.
- 36:45Speaker 1: He expressed to me, he said, Vinny, this is going
- 36:48Speaker 1: to be really hard but it's going to be worth it.
- 36:52Speaker 1: And with this hug, I felt like what came out
- 36:59Speaker 1: of us, the two of us as we hugged, was
- 37:02Speaker 1: the energy of a hundred suns. It was this like boom,
- 37:09Speaker 1: like really strong energy, like pulsated out of both of
- 37:14Speaker 1: us as we hugged. And I got to realize a
- 37:18Speaker 1: divine principle That when you're able to come together in unification,
- 37:24Speaker 1: in true divine love of each other and service of
- 37:27Speaker 1: each other, that the power within both of you is
- 37:32Speaker 1: amplified and unlocked. That's what I felt happening just from
- 37:37Speaker 1: a simple hug. If every single one of us could
- 37:43Speaker 1: get one of those hugs, there would never be a
- 37:46Speaker 1: war on this planet ever again. We would care for
- 37:50Speaker 1: each other every day, no matter what we look like
- 37:53Speaker 1: or what lifestyle or anything. We would care so much
- 37:57Speaker 1: about each other if every single one of us could
- 38:01Speaker 1: get one of these hugs in our life. And it's
- 38:05Speaker 1: something that changed me for the rest of my life
- 38:09Speaker 1: till now. I'm literally a different person from before my experience.
- 38:16Speaker 1: I live differently. I I care about people differently. And
- 38:22Speaker 1: as I was feeling all this, I then started to
- 38:25Speaker 1: hear a prayer being given over my body. Now, meanwhile,
- 38:30Speaker 1: I was brain dead for three days. And each one
- 38:34Speaker 1: of those days, there was visitors coming in and visiting
- 38:39Speaker 1: my body while I was in this coma. And my brother,
- 38:43Speaker 1: that third night, he had this He had his own
- 38:47Speaker 1: kind of, uh, come to Jesus moment where he realized
- 38:51Speaker 1: that this is serious, that, um, something needed to change
- 38:56Speaker 1: in the, in the spectrum of, of prayer or, or
- 39:01Speaker 1: sending your, your desire to God, because this is serious.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Like I wasn't waking up.
- 39:08Speaker 1: And after three days, the doctors were saying, Hey, he's
- 39:11Speaker 1: not coming out of this. He's likely never going to
- 39:14Speaker 1: come out of this. He had even given my brother
- 39:17Speaker 1: this pamphlet about looking into palliative care, which is what
- 39:24Speaker 1: you do when someone's in this position. And that really
- 39:28Speaker 1: hit home for him and he decided, you know what,
- 39:30Speaker 1: I'm going to come, I'm going to do this, this,
- 39:34Speaker 1: this prayer over him, this blessing over him. And I'm
- 39:36Speaker 1: going to just put, put everything I got into it.
- 39:40Speaker 2: And he did.
- 39:41Speaker 1: I heard it as loud as if he was saying
- 39:43Speaker 1: it directly in my ear while I was in heaven.
- 39:47Speaker 1: And I heard him tell my body to be made
- 39:52Speaker 1: whole and to come back to my body. And as
- 39:58Speaker 1: he completed that prayer, that blessing, I felt instantaneously brought
- 40:04Speaker 1: back to my body. In the real time of it, though,
- 40:09Speaker 1: my brother had said this prayer at 10 p.m., right
- 40:12Speaker 1: around 10 p.m. I woke up at 1.11 in the morning.
- 40:17Speaker 1: So only a couple of, you know, a few hours
- 40:19Speaker 1: after that, I woke up and I felt fine. I
- 40:24Speaker 1: literally felt fine. I woke up and was, first thing
- 40:28Speaker 1: I thought was, why am I here? Why am I
- 40:30Speaker 1: in a hospital?
- 40:32Speaker 2: And my brain was still trying to figure out where
- 40:36Speaker 2: I was.
- 40:38Speaker 1: And as I was figuring all that out, I was
- 40:40Speaker 1: extremely claustrophobic. So everything I had on me, including catheters, IVs,
- 40:47Speaker 1: I yanked it all off.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Everything. Everything.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Even, yeah, I won't tell that story. But I'm telling you,
- 40:54Speaker 1: it was painful, but it needed to happen.
- 40:56Speaker 2: I couldn't have anything touching me.
- 40:58Speaker 1: I couldn't even have the little finger thing, little finger
- 41:01Speaker 1: socket thing for your heart or whatever.
- 41:03Speaker 2: I couldn't have any of that touching me.
- 41:05Speaker 3: But you just had like one of the most freeing experiences.
- 41:08Speaker 3: You just like everything.
- 41:09Speaker 1: And to me, this is what it feels like. It
- 41:11Speaker 1: feels like, you know, our soul, our spirit is as
- 41:14Speaker 1: big as like a whale in real life.
- 41:16Speaker 2: It's huge, right?
- 41:17Speaker 1: And then to come back into this body is like
- 41:19Speaker 1: trying to put that whale in a sardine can. It's
- 41:23Speaker 1: just near impossible. To me, it is impossible, but it happens.
- 41:28Speaker 1: So I was put back in, and I was standing
- 41:30Speaker 1: there naked, just standing there, like taking deep breaths, trying
- 41:34Speaker 1: to figure out what's going on, what's going on. Why
- 41:37Speaker 1: do I feel this? I felt like I wanted to
- 41:39Speaker 1: pull my body off. That's what it felt like. And
- 41:44Speaker 1: there's a good thing there's not a zipper.
- 41:45Speaker 2: On our body.
- 41:46Speaker 1: I would have pulled it and just climbed out. I
- 41:48Speaker 1: didn't want to be back in this body. I wanted
- 41:51Speaker 1: to go back to wherever I'd come from.
- 41:54Speaker 2: I could feel.
- 41:55Speaker 1: And at that very moment of waking up, I actually
- 41:58Speaker 1: couldn't remember the heaven thing at all. I was just thinking,
- 42:02Speaker 1: I need to go back.
- 42:03Speaker 2: I need to go back. I need to go home.
- 42:06Speaker 1: And I kept saying that. You know, I realized I
- 42:10Speaker 1: was naked.
- 42:10Speaker 2: And I was like, okay, I can't be naked.
- 42:12Speaker 1: I grabbed some gowns that I found in the cupboard,
- 42:16Speaker 1: wrapped around my middle section, and then I just took off,
- 42:19Speaker 1: like walking really fast. I went down straight to this elevator.
- 42:23Speaker 1: I'm sitting there hitting the down button when I hear
- 42:25Speaker 1: a scream, and I know it's coming from my room.
- 42:29Speaker 1: So I knew one of the nurses had found that
- 42:32Speaker 1: there was no coma patient in there, no brain-dead guy.
- 42:37Speaker 1: There's just a bed and a bunch of sensors. Some
- 42:40Speaker 1: of those sensors I even pulled out of the wall.
- 42:43Speaker 1: So she was freaking out. She thought maybe somebody came
- 42:46Speaker 1: and stole the body. And I'm sitting there hitting down.
- 42:50Speaker 1: I'm like, open the door, open the door.
- 42:51Speaker 2: I just wanted to leave. I wanted to go home.
- 42:54Speaker 2: What I felt was home.
- 42:56Speaker 1: And then a second nurse came in there. She saw
- 42:59Speaker 1: that there was no body either. She came out and
- 43:03Speaker 1: she looked down the hallway and saw me. And then
- 43:05Speaker 1: she screamed. And then the other nurse came out and
- 43:07Speaker 1: saw me. And then she screamed. And so I knew
- 43:11Speaker 1: at this point I was caught. I couldn't leave.
- 43:14Speaker 2: I had to stay. So I did.
- 43:16Speaker 1: I stayed until I could self-release or release on my
- 43:21Speaker 1: own cognizance.
- 43:23Speaker 2: So remind you that I woke up at 1.11 in
- 43:26Speaker 2: the morning.
- 43:27Speaker 1: I was not allowed to be released until 7 a.m.
- 43:30Speaker 1: So I did every possible release paperwork. I did so
- 43:34Speaker 1: many tests. I did 99% of the tests they wanted.
- 43:38Speaker 1: There was like one or two I'm like, no, I'm fine.
- 43:42Speaker 1: I don't need that test. And so they did make
- 43:44Speaker 1: me do a lot of paperwork. I had to sign
- 43:47Speaker 1: a release, meaning that they're not liable if something happens
- 43:51Speaker 1: after I leave. And I said, that's fine. Just let
- 43:53Speaker 1: me out of here. By 7.30, I was walking out,
- 43:59Speaker 1: and my dad had pulled up. I had called him
- 44:01Speaker 1: at about 7. He came, picked me up, and took
- 44:06Speaker 1: me home. On my way home, He just said, are
- 44:11Speaker 1: you okay?
- 44:11Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, I'm okay. And he said, are you
- 44:13Speaker 2: going to work today? I was like, no, I'm not
- 44:16Speaker 2: going to work today. Take the day off. But I
- 44:18Speaker 2: told him, but I'll work tomorrow.
- 44:21Speaker 1: And so I ended up working the very next day.
- 44:24Speaker 1: But yeah, as soon as I got home, the only
- 44:25Speaker 1: thing I could think was I want to go running.
- 44:28Speaker 1: To me, that was the one thing that helped me
- 44:30Speaker 1: feel like I was somehow getting out of this body.
- 44:35Speaker 1: And still at this point, I didn't know. I didn't
- 44:38Speaker 1: remember anything. what had happened to me. I got all
- 44:41Speaker 1: the way to the point where I was going to
- 44:43Speaker 1: dinner with my sister and some more family. But my
- 44:49Speaker 1: sister specifically, my oldest sister, she cornered me.
- 44:51Speaker 2: At that restaurant.
- 44:53Speaker 1: And she goes, hey, you know, did you have an experience?
- 44:57Speaker 1: Because you were dead. They found you were dead. And
- 45:02Speaker 1: as soon as she said that, my mouth like formed
- 45:05Speaker 1: the words, at least my mind formed the words, no.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Nothing.
- 45:10Speaker 1: But what came out of me was my experience. And
- 45:14Speaker 1: as that experience was coming out of me, I started
- 45:17Speaker 1: weeping and crying because now I remembered all the things
- 45:21Speaker 1: that had happened, including the leaving, the choosing to leave,
- 45:26Speaker 1: and to not wanting to come back. And then I
- 45:28Speaker 1: started to ache, like to the deepest part of my heart.
- 45:32Speaker 1: I wanted to go back home. And, you know, it
- 45:35Speaker 1: was a blessing to remember, but it was also a
- 45:37Speaker 1: curse because I From that moment forward, I thought, I
- 45:41Speaker 1: just want to go home.
- 45:42Speaker 2: I want to do whatever I got to do. I'm
- 45:44Speaker 2: going to go home. So I looked into the most
- 45:47Speaker 2: dangerous jobs.
- 45:50Speaker 1: I signed up to join one of the most, in fact,
- 45:54Speaker 1: the second most dangerous job at the time that I
- 45:56Speaker 1: could find was to be a king crab fisherman. There
- 45:59Speaker 1: was like this thing you could pay money for in Seattle.
- 46:04Speaker 1: You'd go there and you'd do a run with some
- 46:06Speaker 1: fish boats out there. And if you did good enough,
- 46:09Speaker 1: then they would graduate you to possibly be on a
- 46:12Speaker 1: wait list for an Alaskan one for King Crab. So
- 46:16Speaker 1: I signed up for that thing. I was like, let's
- 46:18Speaker 1: do it. I kept thinking, you know, a convenient slip
- 46:23Speaker 1: on the deck of the boat. I could be right there.
- 46:26Speaker 1: And I wouldn't even have to try. It would be just,
- 46:28Speaker 1: you know, nature having its way and I could be
- 46:32Speaker 1: back in heaven. So I wanted to do that. But
- 46:36Speaker 1: I kept hearing. I kept hearing Drake tell me, Vinny,
- 46:40Speaker 1: this is going to be hard, but it's going to
- 46:42Speaker 1: be worth it. And so I did keep going. I
- 46:45Speaker 1: picked up, you know, pick myself up by my bootstraps
- 46:49Speaker 1: and just went back to work, went back to doing
- 46:51Speaker 1: the things I knew to do. But I started doing
- 46:54Speaker 1: it differently, everything differently, everything differently at that point. And
- 46:59Speaker 1: I was done being the old version of me. I
- 47:03Speaker 1: was done Body worshiping, because that's what I felt I
- 47:07Speaker 1: was doing when I did bodybuilding. And I was done
- 47:11Speaker 1: worshiping anything else. I was now ready to really embody
- 47:18Speaker 1: my new purpose. And my new purpose was to build relationships,
- 47:22Speaker 1: to love and care for others in a way that
- 47:26Speaker 1: is genuine and divine. And as I could do that,
- 47:29Speaker 1: I can emulate that energy in heaven. So I began
- 47:32Speaker 1: with this new energy, living my life, And, you know,
- 47:36Speaker 1: had a real rough patch right after I came back.
- 47:39Speaker 2: Some of the.
- 47:40Speaker 1: Hardest weeks and months of my entire life. And shortly
- 47:44Speaker 1: after I came back, though, I did meet my wife.
- 47:49Speaker 1: And as I first met her, even before going on
- 47:53Speaker 1: a date, we both.
- 47:55Speaker 2: Knew that we were going to get married. We knew it.
- 47:59Speaker 2: Without a shadow of our doubt, we knew we were
- 48:01Speaker 2: going to get married. And again, before we even went
- 48:04Speaker 2: on one date.
- 48:05Speaker 1: And kind of the neat thing is I could feel
- 48:09Speaker 1: that presence of heaven around us when we were together.
- 48:13Speaker 1: And even before one date, everywhere we go, people would ask.
- 48:18Speaker 2: Oh, how long have you guys been married? Do you
- 48:20Speaker 2: have any kids? And we were just young.
- 48:22Speaker 1: And so we kind of radiated that energy everywhere we went.
- 48:27Speaker 1: But the neat thing is part of what Andrea, who
- 48:32Speaker 1: became my wife at the time, she was my fiancée,
- 48:35Speaker 1: She really helped bring out a better side of me.
- 48:39Speaker 1: And she helped me reprioritize my life where family was
- 48:42Speaker 1: paramount and one of the most important things. And as
- 48:46Speaker 1: she was teaching me how to do that, that wasn't
- 48:48Speaker 1: my way before. You know, it was my entertainment or
- 48:51Speaker 1: my adventure was number one. But she helped me do that,
- 48:55Speaker 1: kind of reprogram my life.
- 48:58Speaker 2: There was an.
- 48:58Speaker 1: Opportunity to go to this little reunion in Wyoming. And
- 49:03Speaker 1: normally I wouldn't go. I was too busy with some
- 49:05Speaker 1: project or something.
- 49:07Speaker 2: And she lined it out.
- 49:08Speaker 1: She's like, no, look, you're not doing projects from this
- 49:12Speaker 1: date to this date. That's when the reunion is.
- 49:14Speaker 2: You're going.
- 49:16Speaker 1: And so I got voluntold that you're going to, you're.
- 49:20Speaker 2: To go to this reunion. And I agreed.
- 49:22Speaker 1: I said, yeah, that's part of my new self. I
- 49:24Speaker 1: want to do stuff like that. So we ended up
- 49:26Speaker 1: at this reunion. And part of the reunion was you
- 49:29Speaker 1: could go to this high school and watch a historical
- 49:32Speaker 1: presentation of the town. And in this little town of Afton, Wyoming,
- 49:38Speaker 1: They were showing the presentation of the founders of the town,
- 49:41Speaker 1: some of the first clergy of the town, some of
- 49:44Speaker 1: the first land surveyors and all of this. And it
- 49:49Speaker 1: was 4th of July time period when this happened. I
- 49:52Speaker 1: think it was like the 7th of July. And it
- 49:55Speaker 1: was actually cold in Wyoming that day, which it can
- 49:58Speaker 1: be even in July there.
- 50:01Speaker 2: And I was getting cold. This was outdoors. It was
- 50:03Speaker 2: on the high school football, you know, field.
- 50:07Speaker 1: And we're watching this big screen show all these slideshows
- 50:10Speaker 1: of pictures of people.
- 50:12Speaker 2: And I was cold.
- 50:12Speaker 1: I was starting to gather our stuff to leave. And
- 50:16Speaker 1: Andrea kind of kept dragging her feet a little bit.
- 50:20Speaker 1: And finally I knew why. Because within minutes of me
- 50:24Speaker 1: starting to say it's time to go, she pipes up,
- 50:28Speaker 1: she freezes, and she goes, that's your guide.
- 50:31Speaker 2: That's Drake. And I looked over at her. I'm like, who? What?
- 50:36Speaker 1: No.
- 50:36Speaker 3: No.
- 50:37Speaker 1: And I turned, and on the screen is this old
- 50:42Speaker 1: black and white photo.
- 50:46Speaker 2: Of Drake.
- 50:48Speaker 1: He was a lot older in that photo, but the
- 50:50Speaker 1: white hair was there, the white beard was there, the eyes,
- 50:53Speaker 1: the eyes, they were there.
- 50:59Speaker 2: But I was completely dismayed because it said his name
- 51:04Speaker 2: was Charles.
- 51:05Speaker 1: It didn't say his name was Drake I'm like, it's him,
- 51:08Speaker 1: but it's not him. What's wrong here? I'm thinking, God,
- 51:13Speaker 1: why would you do this to me? You get me
- 51:16Speaker 1: to know him as Drake, and then now I find
- 51:18Speaker 1: out he's a real guy, but his name is Charles.
- 51:22Speaker 1: But I noticed the last name, and that last name
- 51:27Speaker 1: was the name of the reunion we were at. And
- 51:31Speaker 1: that was my grandmother's maiden name. So I went to
- 51:36Speaker 1: my grandmother's house right then We went there.
- 51:39Speaker 2: I just kind of walked in. I'm like, grandma, grandma, grandma.
- 51:43Speaker 1: I go, can you tell me about someone named Charles Kazare?
- 51:48Speaker 1: And her exact response was, oh, you mean great-grandpa Drake.
- 51:52Speaker 1: He's kind of famous in our family. And that's when
- 51:57Speaker 1: she expressed that it was her great-grandfather and that he
- 52:01Speaker 1: was known by Drake to the family and only to
- 52:04Speaker 1: very close friends. But even on all official paperwork, he
- 52:08Speaker 1: was known as Charles. And then I'm like, that's why
- 52:13Speaker 1: you had me know him as Drake. Not even as Charles.
- 52:17Speaker 1: So that I could have that confirmation of.
- 52:20Speaker 2: Who he is to me. But he would be my great, great,
- 52:24Speaker 2: great grandfather on my grandmother's side. But funniest thing, Kay.
- 52:32Speaker 2: I got chills on that one, man.
- 52:34Speaker 1: The coolest thing is when I The way Andrea knew
- 52:38Speaker 1: it was him is I had been describing him for
- 52:41Speaker 1: months to her. We had many late night conversations just
- 52:44Speaker 1: talking about what he looked like and what I felt
- 52:47Speaker 1: he meant for me. And we were just still trying
- 52:49Speaker 1: to figure out who he was. And so when she
- 52:51Speaker 1: saw that picture, that's how she felt she knew that
- 52:54Speaker 1: was him. And when I saw it, yeah, it was him, 100%.
- 52:58Speaker 2: But the way I always described.
- 53:00Speaker 1: It to Andrea is I said, Drake's eyes, you could
- 53:05Speaker 1: feel them. like reach in and hold you and hug you.
- 53:08Speaker 2: His eyes did that. Even in this life, they did that.
- 53:12Speaker 1: And I asked my grandmother at a later period when
- 53:15Speaker 1: I had a lot of time to spend with her
- 53:18Speaker 1: before she passed away, and I asked her, you know,
- 53:21Speaker 1: do you know anything, attributes, anything you can tell me?
- 53:25Speaker 1: And she said, well, everyone always said like his eyes.
- 53:28Speaker 1: His eyes, they could reach out and kind of grab
- 53:34Speaker 1: you and hold you And not just that, she felt
- 53:37Speaker 1: like people couldn't lie to him because his eyes would
- 53:41Speaker 1: not allow it. Like, because he genuinely loved people. And,
- 53:46Speaker 1: you know, it was a beautiful experience. And I'm so
- 53:49Speaker 1: grateful that I didn't believe what some of the doctors
- 53:54Speaker 1: told me.
- 53:54Speaker 2: Because some of the.
- 53:55Speaker 1: Doctors did tell me, this is your imagination. Don't, you know,
- 53:59Speaker 1: be very careful about following anything you perceive. Because a
- 54:03Speaker 1: brain that's been oxygen deprived that long, it's going to
- 54:07Speaker 1: have some ramifications. And so I moved forward with my life.
- 54:14Speaker 1: We got married shortly after that experience and we've been
- 54:18Speaker 1: just building our life since. There's a lot more to
- 54:21Speaker 1: our existence than what we see here. And it's very,
- 54:24Speaker 1: very important that we understand that we can't take our
- 54:30Speaker 1: incomes with us. We can't take our fancy homes or cars,
- 54:34Speaker 1: but we can take with us the relationships we build.
- 54:38Speaker 1: And that is the most important thing we can do here,
- 54:41Speaker 1: is build good relationships and learn how to create with love.
- 54:46Speaker 1: And that's paramount for us here. If we can do that,
- 54:51Speaker 1: we walk away from earth school, you know, an abundant being,
- 54:57Speaker 1: someone who's full of that abundance that heaven wants us
- 55:00Speaker 1: to have.
- 55:02Speaker 2: That's my experience, Wes. That was incredible.
- 55:08Speaker 3: I'm really glad I didn't go read anything or watch
- 55:12Speaker 3: anything and I could just be in this moment because
- 55:14Speaker 3: that was really, really special. And yeah, you said there
- 55:19Speaker 3: are so many things I feel like, I'm sure as
- 55:22Speaker 3: you've shared it, people can take away different things. One
- 55:26Speaker 3: of the things that I loved when you were describing
- 55:28Speaker 3: coming back into your body, and I feel like a
- 55:31Speaker 3: lot of us, right, Like there's so many identity issues
- 55:35Speaker 3: in the world. It's like people want to like know
- 55:40Speaker 3: who they are and it creates so much confusion.
- 55:43Speaker 2: And I.
- 55:46Speaker 3: Think it's so beautiful that you said that's like our
- 55:48Speaker 3: soul is like as big of a whale and we're
- 55:50Speaker 3: just like.
- 55:50Speaker 1: Being pushed into this.
- 55:51Speaker 3: I feel like there's so many people in the world
- 55:54Speaker 3: that get out of touch of like how important they
- 55:58Speaker 3: are and that their soul is so big and important.
- 56:01Speaker 3: And life kind of starts like almost making that soul
- 56:05Speaker 3: used to like as a person and your soul and
- 56:07Speaker 3: everything just starts almost feeling smaller and diminished and they
- 56:11Speaker 3: start forgetting or maybe they've never even truly known what
- 56:15Speaker 3: they have inside of them and that.
- 56:17Speaker 2: Innately, right?
- 56:19Speaker 3: Without doing anything, they have this intrinsic important worth and
- 56:24Speaker 3: they are so big and so beautiful. They just don't
- 56:28Speaker 3: know it. And I feel like That's one of many
- 56:31Speaker 3: things that I took away from what you said.
- 56:35Speaker 2: But man, yeah.
- 56:36Speaker 3: I'm still getting jingles about the Drake thing.
- 56:39Speaker 2: That is so, so cool.
- 56:41Speaker 1: Well, it's really neat. A few months after we got married,
- 56:48Speaker 1: we got to move in and kind of help take
- 56:50Speaker 1: care of my grandmother towards the last few months of
- 56:53Speaker 1: her life. So we got to go through old family records,
- 56:57Speaker 1: and she had a documented... special prayer or blessing that
- 57:01Speaker 1: was given to him and and it even spelled out
- 57:06Speaker 1: like hey this is what you're this is the change
- 57:08Speaker 1: you're going to make in the world and then it
- 57:11Speaker 1: was more than a full page of describing what he's
- 57:14Speaker 1: going to do in the afterlife and one of his
- 57:17Speaker 1: primary purposes in the afterlife was to lovingly escort his
- 57:22Speaker 1: family and loved ones.
- 57:25Speaker 2: From this side to the other And at that point,
- 57:31Speaker 2: I'm like, God, you don't need to give me anything else.
- 57:34Speaker 2: I'm good. I'm convinced. I know it.
- 57:37Speaker 1: And you add so many different elements. And since then,
- 57:43Speaker 1: being the changed person that I am, I'm more in tune.
- 57:46Speaker 1: I'm more sensitive to energy, every kind of energy. I'm
- 57:50Speaker 1: very in tune with that. And it helps me know
- 57:53Speaker 1: when there's someone that needs help. And they don't have
- 57:56Speaker 1: to ask for help. I can typically go and ascertain
- 57:59Speaker 1: and help them in different ways. And to me, that's
- 58:03Speaker 1: a beautiful way of bringing heaven back here because we
- 58:07Speaker 1: don't need to use our words to communicate there. If
- 58:10Speaker 1: someone broadcasts the energy of help, then help just arrives
- 58:14Speaker 1: because we love each other so much there. And the
- 58:18Speaker 1: whole identity crisis is happening because we're not physical beings.
- 58:23Speaker 1: We're spiritual beings having a physical experience And we're pouring
- 58:28Speaker 1: so much of our attention and our energy into the physical.
- 58:33Speaker 1: That's why we feel empty inside. We're not meant to
- 58:37Speaker 1: do that.
- 58:38Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 58:39Speaker 3: Thank you so much.
- 58:40Speaker 2: Thank you. Thanks, Leslie. Nice to meet you too, man.
