Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listenings Can't Fly AM six forty. The bill handles
- 0:04Speaker 1: show on demand on the iHeartRadio app.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Good Friday Morning, Nil Savader in the Morning crew here
- 0:10Speaker 2: handles off today, and so is Amy King. Huh. They
- 0:16Speaker 2: went to Disneyland together on Monday. They're both out today.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Man.
- 0:23Speaker 2: No, the old kissing disease never would a thunken. But
- 0:34Speaker 2: we will welcome them back hopefully on Monday. Right now,
- 0:38Speaker 2: it's time for da foody foody Friday Day Day Day.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Do we have music or anything? Con No? No, just
- 0:51Speaker 2: that's it. Huh do you ever? I don't know. I
- 0:57Speaker 2: don't listen that closely. All right, hey boy, what you
- 1:00Speaker 2: mean mean? Buddy? Everything all right at home?
- 1:03Speaker 3: That's great.
- 1:06Speaker 2: You know, someone called in and says, you know, the
- 1:09Speaker 2: whole cono thing in you is getting old. And I'm like,
- 1:12Speaker 2: you know, what, do I come to your work office
- 1:14Speaker 2: and say, hey, stop telling jokes to each other. These
- 1:17Speaker 2: are the people I work with. Okay, we're at work
- 1:20Speaker 2: right now. We're in a joke with each other. All right. Hey, Lucky,
- 1:28Speaker 2: I'm not reading the newspaper right now, a cup of coffee.
- 1:32Speaker 2: We hear so much about microplastics everywhere We heard some
- 1:37Speaker 2: horror stories in articles recently that they are everywhere in
- 1:43Speaker 2: your brain, in your testes, everywhere. And I know, and
- 1:51Speaker 2: that's not a joke, that these micro nanoplastics are, you know,
- 1:58Speaker 2: hitting every part of who we are. And I'm sorry,
- 2:02Speaker 2: I get it. Everybody's freaking out. They're like, oh my gosh,
- 2:06Speaker 2: this and that. But it's it's already everywhere. It's already
- 2:09Speaker 2: in you, all over the place. We use it for everything.
- 2:14Speaker 2: I know. The easy ones are like, you remember when
- 2:17Speaker 2: bottled water was thought to be healthy. It's like, oh,
- 2:20Speaker 2: bottled water. It's look at you drinking your bottled water.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Now they're like, oh my god, don't drink that bottled water,
- 2:30Speaker 2: and certainly don't leave it in your car because it's
- 2:33Speaker 2: gonna break down in the heat and you're gonna drink
- 2:34Speaker 2: all those microplastics. So here we are, with body filled
- 2:40Speaker 2: with microplastics. What do you end up doing? Well? I
- 2:43Speaker 2: don't know. Is it reversible? Maybe the problem with these
- 2:49Speaker 2: foreign objects inside your body is just that how to
- 2:52Speaker 2: eliminate them. It's pretty amazing how our bodies work. If
- 2:56Speaker 2: you break it down and you look at the science
- 2:58Speaker 2: of how we digest things. The old You know jokes
- 3:03Speaker 2: about corn not digesting. That's not true. You do digest corn,
- 3:07Speaker 2: you just don't digest that little husk around because your
- 3:12Speaker 2: body is looking for nutrients what it needs, and it's
- 3:15Speaker 2: trying to expel the waste. Right. While new studies have
- 3:20Speaker 2: found and these are preliminary, very promising though based on
- 3:26Speaker 2: animal studies in this case is going to be rats,
- 3:29Speaker 2: no human trials yet, is that some very old foods
- 3:36Speaker 2: and fermentation that have been around for a long long
- 3:41Speaker 2: time may help reduce microplastics microplastics in your body. What
- 3:47Speaker 2: is that kim chi, which is wonderful I mean acquired
- 3:53Speaker 2: taste maybe for some. But they're finding that some ingredients
- 4:00Speaker 2: in parts of kim chi and the way it's fermented
- 4:04Speaker 2: attach themselves to these microplastics and then they get expelled
- 4:10Speaker 2: as waste rather than floating around in your body. So
- 4:14Speaker 2: imagine not a magnet per se, but something that attaches
- 4:19Speaker 2: and allows them to bind with one another and getting
- 4:23Speaker 2: them out. So they found some very promising information early
- 4:27Speaker 2: this year, and these are scientists from South Korea. They
- 4:32Speaker 2: publish their findings in the journal Bioresource Technology, showing that
- 4:39Speaker 2: kimchi may be a powerful ally in this fight against
- 4:44Speaker 2: microplastics and nanoplastics. I guess they continue to get even
- 4:50Speaker 2: smaller and smaller, but they're floating around inside us. I
- 4:53Speaker 2: don't know that we know wholly exactly the complications that
- 4:57Speaker 2: they give us. We know some, but research are finding
- 5:01Speaker 2: that these micro these tiny microscopic pieces of plastic particles
- 5:07Speaker 2: are everywhere arteries, bones, like I said earlier, human brains,
- 5:16Speaker 2: and they are looking at this causing inflammation. If you
- 5:21Speaker 2: look as you get older, you'll find that as you
- 5:23Speaker 2: go to the doctor, almost every single issue you have
- 5:26Speaker 2: endsen itis, which means it's swollen. So inflammation is a
- 5:35Speaker 2: huge issue with your health. The vast majority of issues
- 5:40Speaker 2: that you have, pains, creaks, whatever it is, comes from inflammation,
- 5:47Speaker 2: so they're looking at that. Also it increases the odds
- 5:52Speaker 2: of developing Alzheimer's. Now we continue to study that, trying
- 5:55Speaker 2: to find out more and more as to what CAUs
- 5:58Speaker 2: causes Alzheimer's. Thinking that these nanoplastics, these microplastics have a
- 6:03Speaker 2: part in that game as well. So as they start
- 6:08Speaker 2: looking and zeroing in on certain things, they start looking
- 6:13Speaker 2: at this. In this case, this lactic acid bacterium. This
- 6:17Speaker 2: is found in fermented cabbage. It with a thunk. And
- 6:21Speaker 2: I'm a big believer that although there's some creepy weird
- 6:25Speaker 2: stuff out there, you go, I went down a Egyptology
- 6:30Speaker 2: route many many years ago in my late teens, fascinated
- 6:34Speaker 2: with the culture, and they're forward thinking when it came
- 6:39Speaker 2: to medicine, right, and so they were at the forefront,
- 6:45Speaker 2: they being Egyptians, at the forefront of medicine. Yet they
- 6:49Speaker 2: still would have these weird things. I think one of
- 6:52Speaker 2: them was to swallow a mouse so it could eat
- 6:56Speaker 2: the poison withinside you or something. So like, for every
- 7:00Speaker 2: thing that they did that was super smart, there was
- 7:02Speaker 2: something you go, what the hell that doesn't make any sense?
- 7:05Speaker 2: And I say that because naturally we find a lot
- 7:09Speaker 2: of things, whether it be Native Americans or going back
- 7:13Speaker 2: even further throughout history, there are certain things that were
- 7:16Speaker 2: done to food, certain things that were done to plants,
- 7:20Speaker 2: which we're finding now may have been more than just
- 7:24Speaker 2: flavor or to preserve them or things like that. Because
- 7:30Speaker 2: it's ingenious. Really, this particular lactic acid bacterium found in
- 7:36Speaker 2: fermented cabbage that now lab tests found that it binds
- 7:42Speaker 2: itself about eighty seven percent to the nanoplastics it came
- 7:47Speaker 2: in contact with. That's a pretty massive filter when you
- 7:51Speaker 2: think about it. So more studies are going to be
- 7:53Speaker 2: done on this. But kim chee, it's what the doctor ordered.
- 7:58Speaker 2: All right, A new, first kind graham Cracker has arrived.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I know, right exciting, But think about hold on for
- 8:08Speaker 2: a second. I'll tell you why this this car. I
- 8:11Speaker 2: don't mock me. Man, this caught my eye because it's
- 8:14Speaker 2: always like Oreos or new ice cream flavor. Very rarely
- 8:18Speaker 2: do I come across a new gram Cracker flavor. Gram
- 8:21Speaker 2: Crackers have a little bit of honey, you know, brown sugary, molassesy.
- 8:26Speaker 2: They're just yummy. I love a gram cracker right even
- 8:31Speaker 2: to this day. What grosses me out is when you
- 8:34Speaker 2: see little kids, really little kids eat them and they
- 8:37Speaker 2: get like you know, the mom breaks them into fourths
- 8:39Speaker 2: or whatever, and they get one of those little pieces
- 8:41Speaker 2: and they suck on it. Oh my god, it creeps
- 8:44Speaker 2: me out and it gets all wet and mushy, like
- 8:47Speaker 2: they just sit there and gumm it kind of rather
- 8:50Speaker 2: than you know, just eat it and it gets Yeah,
- 8:53Speaker 2: that creeps me out, that wet kind of mushy gram cracker.
- 8:57Speaker 2: But some wars man, some mores are are the greatest
- 9:02Speaker 2: thing we do some wars here, summer's coming sooner than
- 9:06Speaker 2: we think. Pronounce that again, some moors? Are you saying
- 9:10Speaker 2: some wars or some moreses? It's smores is actually abbreviation
- 9:15Speaker 2: of some more?
- 9:16Speaker 4: Okay, Sorry, I just got you some mores and no
- 9:20Speaker 4: one says that, I obviously do. I know no one
- 9:24Speaker 4: says some mores.
- 9:26Speaker 2: It's I want some wars. It's some moores smores. I
- 9:32Speaker 2: said you said some mores, And did I say some
- 9:37Speaker 2: oars or s'mores? It's yeah, But did I say some more? Huh?
- 9:47Speaker 2: I'm just writing down some more questions that I'm going
- 9:49Speaker 2: to ask all of you.
- 9:50Speaker 5: You put that little abbreviation in there. Thanks, Like, that's
- 9:56Speaker 5: no way he's saying this correctly, right. I wish everybody
- 9:58Speaker 5: in the world am I using it right? I wish
- 10:01Speaker 5: I had some more as friends on the show than
- 10:04Speaker 5: I do. So anyways, they are launching a new Graham Cracker.
- 10:12Speaker 5: That's right, right, and it's going to be one of my.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Favorite flavors, salted caramel. Huh. Anybody any takers? Okay? And
- 10:25Speaker 2: it's clapping. Brooker's a no got a thumbs up from
- 10:29Speaker 2: will Co. No nothing which is salted caramel? No, okay,
- 10:37Speaker 2: is a normal.
- 10:39Speaker 3: Caramel?
- 10:39Speaker 2: Correct you?
- 10:43Speaker 6: I say caramel?
- 10:45Speaker 2: You're also from Oklahoma.
- 10:46Speaker 6: I don't go salted.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Do you buy it with a coupon.
- 10:56Speaker 7: Or there's no que in so it'd be a coupon,
- 11:01Speaker 7: I say, coupon, coupon.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Oh, but it's.
- 11:06Speaker 6: By your caramel with a.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Hamburger, Hamburger and library. Right, No, that's just.
- 11:14Speaker 7: It's definitely caramel, caramel, caramel, goodness, caramel, Caribbean or the
- 11:23Speaker 7: Caribbean anyways, c or crayon.
- 11:26Speaker 2: It's Caribbean.
- 11:28Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 11:29Speaker 6: It depends on how how much I've had to drink.
- 11:31Speaker 1: I might say Caribbean.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Man, you guys are reckless.
- 11:37Speaker 6: Get your caramel and.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Think of it this way. It's their honeymoon classic. We
- 11:44Speaker 2: all love them. But now when you make that ice
- 11:48Speaker 2: box pie or cake, guess what kind of crust it's
- 11:52Speaker 2: going to be in assaulted carra car carra caramel crust.
- 12:01Speaker 2: How about that? Huh? You're gonna have your somesmares and
- 12:10Speaker 2: you're gonna you're gonna enjoy them. Now on this salted carcerramel. Yummy,
- 12:19Speaker 2: stupendous gram crackers. Nobody's in huh wow, I Mishandle and
- 12:26Speaker 2: I never thought i'd say that. Uh So, we won't
- 12:30Speaker 2: do we won't do ask Candle anything because he's not here.
- 12:37Speaker 2: We'll save that for next week. But well, I'll ask
- 12:40Speaker 2: some questions. I'm gonna read some of the talkbacks that
- 12:43Speaker 2: came in. If you're not familiar in how this works,
- 12:46Speaker 2: it's very easy. You use the iHeartRadio app, and that's
- 12:50Speaker 2: if you're listening to us on there. You'll see on
- 12:52Speaker 2: the phone there's a little red circle with a white
- 12:56Speaker 2: icon of a microphone. You press that, you've got thirty
- 13:00Speaker 2: second sent a message. Whatever show is on at the
- 13:03Speaker 2: time you're doing that, it will go to them, so
- 13:06Speaker 2: I see what goes on during the handleshow also want
- 13:09Speaker 2: to remind you tonight you're back to back World champion
- 13:11Speaker 2: Dodgers take on the Cubs at Dodger Stadium with first
- 13:14Speaker 2: pitch at seven. Listen to all Dodger games on AM
- 13:18Speaker 2: five to seventy LA Sports. Stream all games on the
- 13:21Speaker 2: iHeartRadio app. Keyword AM five seventy LA Sports brought to
- 13:25Speaker 2: you by Asahi Super Dry. Discover Japan's number one selling
- 13:29Speaker 2: beer seek what is unique. Asahi is a great beer.
- 13:34Speaker 2: I love it with sushi as a matter of fact,
- 13:37Speaker 2: it's my go to when having sushi. Also some trending
- 13:42Speaker 2: stories FDA Grant's quick review for three psychedelic drug trials.
- 13:46Speaker 2: I heard Dari and Shannon talking about micro dosing and
- 13:50Speaker 2: things like that the other day. This is going to
- 13:53Speaker 2: be part of that. The FDA Commissioner said that the
- 13:55Speaker 2: first psychedelic drug could be approved in the US as
- 13:58Speaker 2: soon as this summer. I think psychedelics or mushrooms and
- 14:02Speaker 2: the like are some of those things that are up there.
- 14:06Speaker 2: We shall see how that goes, Okay, So let me
- 14:12Speaker 2: go here to this one came for me. Neil not
- 14:18Speaker 2: so good at giving half the information and giving anyone
- 14:21Speaker 2: that's not white credit for everything. And the kimchi, Korean
- 14:26Speaker 2: kimchi being great for everything, because I talked about during
- 14:30Speaker 2: Foody Friday that kim chi and some of the compounds
- 14:38Speaker 2: that are made during the fermentation process are being looked
- 14:43Speaker 2: at to help They tend to gravitate and bind themselves
- 14:49Speaker 2: with up to eighty seven percent of the microplastics they
- 14:52Speaker 2: come in contact with, and then they can sweep them
- 14:54Speaker 2: out of the body, very early stages of this study.
- 14:58Speaker 2: And I guess this gentleman. Let me see if it's
- 15:02Speaker 2: a gentleman. No, it's oh, this woman hits us up
- 15:06Speaker 2: all the time. Very conservative. Sorry, Dana, geez.
- 15:11Speaker 6: She's nasty.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Yeah, and she gets mad because I guess I don't
- 15:15Speaker 2: give credit to white people. I'm sorry, there's other people
- 15:18Speaker 2: that have dis discovered things. She goes, well, kim chi
- 15:22Speaker 2: is good, it's healthy, but uh, it's sour kraut. We
- 15:26Speaker 2: have had Sauer kraut a long time, so I would
- 15:29Speaker 2: bet a little bit further study hopefully souer kraut works
- 15:34Speaker 2: in all this. Okay, So sorry, I am the food
- 15:37Speaker 2: guy here. You don't know what you're talking about, Dana.
- 15:43Speaker 2: I know people assume that Soauer kraut came from Germany.
- 15:47Speaker 2: It did not. It's believed to have originated from Chinese
- 15:52Speaker 2: laborers that were using it while they were building the
- 15:56Speaker 2: Great Wall. So I hate to break it to you,
- 15:59Speaker 2: but kim chi origins and sauer Kraft origins are very
- 16:03Speaker 2: similar and they don't come from Germany. So that whole
- 16:08Speaker 2: Neil doesn't want to give white people credit. I love
- 16:10Speaker 2: white people. Some of my best friends are white. See
- 16:16Speaker 2: what he did there? Yeah, take that whitey.
- 16:24Speaker 6: I have a joke that I want to say, but
- 16:25Speaker 6: I probably shouldn't say it.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Fired, h say it, say it?
- 16:32Speaker 6: Okay, what do you call a black astronaut? What an astronaut?
- 16:38Speaker 6: You racist?
- 16:40Speaker 5: That's funny, Okay, I love my job.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's funny.
- 16:46Speaker 6: Also, that lady that calls in everyone's while she is rude.
- 16:50Speaker 2: I'm sorry. I'm not a mental doctor, but that's nutty
- 16:52Speaker 2: to me. And she is rude, and she's just get
- 16:56Speaker 2: a lady, very conservative. I don't like people on the pole.
- 17:00Speaker 2: You know, if you look at the world, the most
- 17:03Speaker 2: inhospitable places on the planet are the polls. No, I don't.
- 17:09Speaker 2: I don't mean John Cobelt. I mean the polls the
- 17:14Speaker 2: North Pole, in the South Pole. And it's the same
- 17:16Speaker 2: in politics. Man, if you love love love or hate
- 17:20Speaker 2: hate hate, you're just nuts to me. Sorry, Yeah, all right,
- 17:24Speaker 2: So there was a question here for Anne.
- 17:28Speaker 6: I love an inquet. She's talking to Shannon right.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Now, oh man, and that's going to take all day.
- 17:33Speaker 3: Shannon, just and what what did I do wrong?
- 17:37Speaker 1: Neil?
- 17:38Speaker 6: Is a question for Anne.
- 17:40Speaker 3: She's right here talking.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Take everybody's energy a vampire. Don't kiss up to her.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Fight fight, fight, fight, confusion, frustration.
- 17:57Speaker 3: I heard that you beat up handle this morning and
- 17:59Speaker 3: I saw pick.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Yeah, well he should shut his mouth.
- 18:06Speaker 3: He's talking to me.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Yeah, wait till I ask you a question.
- 18:11Speaker 3: You know, that's like a felony. Now you can't beat
- 18:13Speaker 3: him up anymore.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Is that elder abuse abuse?
- 18:17Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 18:18Speaker 2: Both elder if it's oh damn.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Cono, shots fired. Neil is not that.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Old, but he's you're old, right, Neil.
- 18:27Speaker 3: He doesn't qualify as an elder, like, it's not elder
- 18:29Speaker 3: on elder. He's not sixty five. You have to be
- 18:32Speaker 3: sixty five, I think to be an elder right under
- 18:35Speaker 3: the eyes of the law.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Coming up right now, my friend, I didn't love you, so.
- 18:39Speaker 8: I'm trying to defend your honor. You have never defended
- 18:43Speaker 8: anybody's honor, including your own. Well, that's true, but I'm
- 18:46Speaker 8: doing it right now. I'm trying to tell Cono that
- 18:49Speaker 8: you're not qualified as an elder under the eyes of
- 18:52Speaker 8: the law.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Thank you. I wonder if Lindsay is hitting him, if
- 18:56Speaker 2: that would be elder abuse.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Yes, it would, of course. Yeah, what else would it be?
- 19:01Speaker 2: Well, you know. That's why you got to be careful.
- 19:03Speaker 3: I mean, there's an argument to be made. Is it
- 19:06Speaker 3: what is he doing right now? He fell? He is
- 19:09Speaker 3: this on the air? Did we talk about on the
- 19:10Speaker 3: air or no? Is that new?
- 19:12Speaker 2: Well? I didn't say he fell, but well he heard
- 19:15Speaker 2: himself did.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Sorry we haven't mentioned it, but there.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Hey, you guys remember that spill. You remember that time
- 19:26Speaker 2: John and Ken gave their megaphone to Shannon and.
- 19:34Speaker 6: I asked Cono this morning. I was like, Wow, that's
- 19:36Speaker 6: really too bad that he fell down, and ConA goes, yeah,
- 19:38Speaker 6: but it happens a lot, don't you remember that?
- 19:40Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 19:40Speaker 9: And he fell down in the hall. Carry he fell
- 19:44Speaker 9: down in the hallway in the member in the secret
- 19:47Speaker 9: hallway ten years ago. I need to post it again.
- 19:51Speaker 2: And you know what happened. I was I was in
- 19:54Speaker 2: an appointment somewhere and I heard him talking about it
- 20:00Speaker 2: and I called then operations director Mike Schaeffer. Mike, I
- 20:05Speaker 2: just heard Handle say he fell in the hall and
- 20:07Speaker 2: he might have passed out. Pull the security.
- 20:10Speaker 3: You didn't even care how he was. You're like, get
- 20:12Speaker 3: me the video.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Pull the security.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Well that's the thing, you know, Handle falling, it's not
- 20:18Speaker 3: an elderly thing. It's a handle thing.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Oh no, he's just what he does. Balance, no balance,
- 20:23Speaker 2: no core.
- 20:24Speaker 6: Strength, very loose walker like, it's really weird.
- 20:30Speaker 3: That's very charitable.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Oh or handles a lootwalker. That's such a weird way
- 20:37Speaker 2: to put it right. You remember those little toys that
- 20:41Speaker 2: you get, They have like string in them and if
- 20:43Speaker 2: you push the bottom, they kind of fall down and
- 20:45Speaker 2: then you let it go and they stand back straight up. Again.
- 20:48Speaker 2: That's how handle looks all the time.
- 20:50Speaker 6: We lobbly.
- 20:51Speaker 3: What's the woman who makes a living off of posting
- 20:53Speaker 3: those prancing videos. Yes, when you say loose walker, I
- 20:58Speaker 3: just think of that woman videos. Oh yeah, you haven't
- 21:01Speaker 3: seen this all. Yeah, she's in leotard's and she's a
- 21:07Speaker 3: loose walker as well.
- 21:10Speaker 2: I love that Nil Sevadra in the Morning crew handles
- 21:14Speaker 2: out today. Hopefully he'll be back on Monday. And uh,
- 21:18Speaker 2: Amy King's out. She had a nasty cough apparently they
- 21:22Speaker 2: were calling and has Matt to clean everything down. Yeah
- 21:25Speaker 2: I didn't hear it on the air.
- 21:27Speaker 6: Yeah she did it well, but we you know, we
- 21:31Speaker 6: do the news in like this closet here, this like
- 21:34Speaker 6: ten by ten. Maybe that's generous room. So if anybody
- 21:39Speaker 6: is sick, any one of the anchors gets sick, everybody
- 21:41Speaker 6: goes down. So it's like code read, we have to
- 21:45Speaker 6: hose everything down.
- 21:47Speaker 2: They should put one of those morgue drains in the
- 21:49Speaker 2: in the center of there so you can just literally.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Host all that.
- 21:52Speaker 6: Poor Mark Ronner gets so worried. He's very worried. He's like, oh,
- 21:57Speaker 6: we're going to get it.
- 21:57Speaker 2: How can people that get work? Conway gets worried about
- 22:00Speaker 2: sickness too, and they're the ones that get sick all
- 22:02Speaker 2: the time. Yeah, you know, I've got a nine year
- 22:05Speaker 2: old who brings all kinds of creepy Petri dish stuff in,
- 22:09Speaker 2: and I go, it's going to happen. And I have
- 22:12Speaker 2: a compromised immune system. Hey, is Anne anywhere to be seen?
- 22:16Speaker 2: You're a microphone?
- 22:17Speaker 9: She is.
- 22:18Speaker 6: I think she is in there with Gary and Shannon
- 22:21Speaker 6: chatting with us.
- 22:21Speaker 2: We have a question for her. This comes from Sea
- 22:27Speaker 2: White her head.
- 22:30Speaker 6: An are you there? Can you hear sure?
- 22:32Speaker 2: Ann Is says Hi, everyone, big fan of your show
- 22:35Speaker 2: down here in San Diego. I have a question for Anne.
- 22:38Speaker 2: And I know you have two jobs. I'm curious is
- 22:41Speaker 2: one full time and the other part time. Are they
- 22:43Speaker 2: both part time or do you just work your butt
- 22:45Speaker 2: off have tons of hours? Just curious how many that
- 22:49Speaker 2: one last one, the other one last one.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Time? And then so far is part time just for the.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Events and that's on That could be Saturdays and Sundays though, right, yeah, and.
- 23:04Speaker 7: During the week just when there's whenever there's a football
- 23:08Speaker 7: game or concert.
- 23:10Speaker 6: And it works so hard. She is one of the
- 23:13Speaker 6: hardest working people I've ever met.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she does work her tail off all the time,
- 23:20Speaker 2: which which is good because it was creepy watching her
- 23:24Speaker 2: with that tail. That was so dumb. I could hear you.
- 23:34Speaker 2: I mean, she wasn't wrong.
- 23:41Speaker 6: You oh on the microphone?
- 23:43Speaker 2: Was I love? But here's the deal, Shannon, you are
- 23:49Speaker 2: so effing loud. It doesn't matter. I think they picked
- 23:53Speaker 2: that up in the news book on my mic That
- 23:58Speaker 2: is so dumb.
- 24:02Speaker 6: Filter.
- 24:04Speaker 2: How carry you? I love you? Yeah? Well, I've I
- 24:07Speaker 2: got to tell you. It changed me, Shannon.
- 24:10Speaker 3: What has You're gonna have to narrow it down?
- 24:13Speaker 2: Good morning?
- 24:14Speaker 3: No, I know it has. And that's exactly what I
- 24:17Speaker 3: was hitting on.
- 24:18Speaker 2: It wasn't. No, it wasn't And you're a liar. Now,
- 24:22Speaker 2: don't do.
- 24:22Speaker 3: No, it was a Handle. That would be the next
- 24:25Speaker 3: thing I said. You wouldn't have said that on the Saturday.
- 24:28Speaker 3: You only say that when you're filling in for Handle.
- 24:30Speaker 2: That's dumber than Rex the Wonder Horse.
- 24:32Speaker 3: Sister, Oh, who's that?
- 24:35Speaker 2: That's Handle? He says that? Oh really? Yeah?
- 24:38Speaker 3: Why does he say Rex the Wonder Horse?
- 24:40Speaker 2: I think it's a reference to something in the forties. Oh,
- 24:43Speaker 2: I'm going to google it. Yeah, God, Rex the King
- 24:48Speaker 2: of the Wild Horses. There has never been a time
- 24:51Speaker 2: where I've had a conversation with Shannon Farren where she
- 24:53Speaker 2: didn't google something.
- 24:55Speaker 3: Rex was born in nineteen sixteen. What that's an old horse?
- 25:02Speaker 3: He started in films?
- 25:04Speaker 2: Make that a drop? Will yakono?
- 25:07Speaker 3: He started in films in the nineteen twenties and the
- 25:10Speaker 3: nineteen thirties.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Okay, thanks for that.
- 25:16Speaker 3: But why does he bring that up?
- 25:18Speaker 2: I don't know. I I'm unfamiliar. He'll say things like
- 25:23Speaker 2: I believe that maybe I believe even that isn't even
- 25:28Speaker 2: anything from Handle's childhood.
- 25:29Speaker 6: That's to say, maybe it reminds me of his childhood.
- 25:34Speaker 3: He's not that old.
- 25:35Speaker 6: Why do grandpas say the things they do? We just
- 25:38Speaker 6: don't know.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Hey, Pop, pops, what's on your mind? I love a pepa.
- 25:45Speaker 2: We can't say that when he's falling.
- 25:47Speaker 6: I know, but that's when you should say it. People.
- 25:50Speaker 6: Do you need a hand You know what.
- 25:52Speaker 2: My you know what my dad was doing at Handel's age,
- 25:57Speaker 2: he was in a box. Oh yeah, yeah, that dad
- 26:03Speaker 2: died at seventy three, right. I mean they don't look
- 26:07Speaker 2: similar at all. Handle looks lively and he does yoga you.
- 26:11Speaker 6: Know Handle does.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Yeah, not that hot yoga that Shannon's always talking about.
- 26:19Speaker 2: This is the less hot yoga that Handle does. And
- 26:23Speaker 2: he keeps falling over. He has to now switch to
- 26:26Speaker 2: private lessons.
- 26:28Speaker 3: I was gonna say that sounds like a liability problem
- 26:31Speaker 3: if he's going to a studio or any sort of
- 26:34Speaker 3: business with a license.
- 26:35Speaker 2: I see, you know, Warrior pos or Downward Dog, and
- 26:38Speaker 2: I think Domino's Handle's going to get in there, He's
- 26:41Speaker 2: going to hit the person next to him, and it's
- 26:43Speaker 2: going to go put, don't put, don't Okay, I think
- 26:47Speaker 2: we've exploited that enough. And uh, Shannon, thanks for pretty
- 26:52Speaker 2: much filling the last two seconds.
- 26:54Speaker 3: You're so welcome. You are so welcome.
- 26:56Speaker 2: That is so dumb.
- 26:58Speaker 6: We have any that is so dumb.
- 27:01Speaker 2: That is so dumb. That is so dumb. I'm the
- 27:11Speaker 2: thing that I'm most bummed about is that it kind
- 27:13Speaker 2: of clicked it at the end and it wasn't. You
- 27:17Speaker 2: can't really use it. That is so dumb. I'm gonna
- 27:23Speaker 2: listen to this show today and just say.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Oh my god, everything I say you could say that too.
- 27:30Speaker 2: That is so dumb what Shannon just said. Oh my god,
- 27:35Speaker 2: that is so dumb. All Right, kids, this show is over.
- 27:43Speaker 2: So dumb. Anything else, Shannon before we go, I'm gonna
- 27:49Speaker 2: go on. I'm gonna go on home now, I'm gonna
- 27:52Speaker 2: I'll be in the studio in about ten minutes. Okay,
- 27:55Speaker 2: we'll have some fun. I'm just gonna sit there and
- 27:57Speaker 2: say that was so dumb. My god.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Please do that.
- 28:01Speaker 2: All right, stay tuned for Gary and Shannon. Had a
- 28:05Speaker 2: good time today. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend.
