- 1:49Speaker 6: ironic ones.
- 1:50Speaker 4: We we're a fast evolving show, Mogie. As you know,
- 1:55Speaker 4: the only reason I do wear a hat is because
- 1:57Speaker 4: my head gets chilly. Even though I've got I'm furious here,
- 2:01Speaker 4: I do need something on top to keep me a

- 2:37Speaker 1: bit more of Kezy's pigeon. Yeah, I've got a huge

- 2:51Speaker 3: sort of stuff.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Hey, coming up next, we're going to be talking about,
- 2:54Speaker 1: and this may surprise everyone out there, the Commonwealth Games,
- 2:57Speaker 1: which I believe what he is or should I call
- 2:59Speaker 1: you mister? I'm going to wear a head anymore. It's
- 3:01Speaker 1: the one is starting tomorrow apparently so used to me
- 3:06Speaker 1: though most people would know that.
- 3:07Speaker 3: But let's kick off with a bit of ray.
- 3:12Speaker 2: The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hdarchy.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Is indeed the red Oh.
- 3:19Speaker 4: Jilli Pepper's there on the Darchy Big Show this Thursday afternoon.
- 3:22Speaker 4: The time is fourteen minutes past four o'clock and I
- 3:26Speaker 4: don't know about you, fellas, but I am absolutely fizzing
- 3:29Speaker 4: the Commonwealth Game starting off tomorrow in Glasgow.
- 3:33Speaker 3: I believe the sporting highlight of the year for me.
- 3:37Speaker 5: This is going to be obviously comes around every four years,
- 3:41Speaker 5: the Calm Games, yes man, and it is one of
- 3:43Speaker 5: those things where it is bloody exciting because every more
- 3:45Speaker 5: you're going to wake up and there's going to be
- 3:46Speaker 5: something from the other side of the globe, highlights to
- 3:49Speaker 5: watch and stuff on during the day.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Well, it's one of those things that you don't want
- 3:53Speaker 1: to miss anything and just leave the TV on and
- 3:56Speaker 1: there'll be either something happening live or some kind of
- 3:58Speaker 1: highlights paeah play. I mean the Commonwealth Games. It's amazing, isn't.
- 4:03Speaker 1: It feels like it was just yesterday that the last
- 4:05Speaker 1: one was on, it does, Key What was your favorite
- 4:08Speaker 1: your favorite event from the last Commonwealth Games? What was
- 4:10Speaker 1: your favorite memory.
- 4:12Speaker 5: From the last Games? That's a tough one.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Where was the last Commonwealth Games held? Oh?
- 4:20Speaker 5: Yeah, in your own time? Keysy, I mean, wasn't there
- 4:27Speaker 5: there's one in Birmingham?
- 4:28Speaker 1: Oh there has been?
- 4:29Speaker 5: Where was that that was?
- 4:31Speaker 1: There? Was that one?
- 4:33Speaker 5: It was Birmingham?
- 4:34Speaker 1: Ay?
- 4:34Speaker 5: Yeah, it was Yeah, it nailed it.
- 4:37Speaker 3: But what was your your favorite event?
- 4:40Speaker 5: A big fan of the old.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Hockey? Oh yeah, nice, everybody loves that.
- 4:48Speaker 4: Nice you have a favorite maybe, I mean what I mean,
- 4:51Speaker 4: what do you sort of set your calendar by in
- 4:53Speaker 4: terms of the events that are coming up.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Well, I know on the the first day it opens,
- 4:57Speaker 1: I think we've got the Long Bowls day one, and
- 5:00Speaker 1: that's followed up by the hop Scotch. Yeah, the Hopscotch.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, which I can't wait for.
- 5:05Speaker 5: Is that in the calm game?
- 5:06Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's the one with it's just been introduced
- 5:08Speaker 1: this year. Yeah, they put things in and out. Hopscotch
- 5:12Speaker 1: is in there this year.
- 5:13Speaker 5: And so just confirming that's the one where like a
- 5:15Speaker 5: kid draws like with a chalk like a boxing.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Well, no, they don't get a kid to do it.
- 5:18Speaker 1: They get you know, proficient officials. There are official dimensions
- 5:24Speaker 1: and then it's numbered one, two, three, four, five, side
- 5:28Speaker 1: by side in sex seven eight spin and then you come.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Back right, I'll be tuning in with our question on
- 5:37Speaker 4: day four mogie for the old knuckle Bones.
- 5:44Speaker 5: Ah, they've added that as well.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Knuckle Bones has been in there since day dot. Oh,
- 5:48Speaker 1: you're very popular.
- 5:49Speaker 5: That's the one where you sort of you throw them
- 5:50Speaker 5: up in the air and then and then you pick
- 5:53Speaker 5: that you quickly grab them.
- 5:55Speaker 3: I never mastered that.
- 5:58Speaker 1: And these he such fingers that sing. There's different people
- 6:03Speaker 1: are good at different things. Now for for knucklebones, you
- 6:06Speaker 1: need to have short but lithe fingers, yes, li live fingers,
- 6:12Speaker 1: good hand I called cyant.
- 6:15Speaker 5: Do we have any like Kiwi athletes going? They're like
- 6:18Speaker 5: well known that you you know, to compete knucklebones.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Only not really in the knucklebones. Your great knuckleboners are
- 6:25Speaker 1: traditionally there from further afield in the Pacific Islands Easter Island,
- 6:30Speaker 1: Rupaii for example.
- 6:32Speaker 5: Wow, the Pacific Island.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, very good, very good.
- 6:35Speaker 5: They have live fingers, they have like fingers, yes.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Yes they do. Corn Hole Oh yeah, yeah that's okay.
- 6:42Speaker 5: I know you just love the egg into a hole.
- 6:45Speaker 3: I love the tension of corn hole. Yes, you know
- 6:48Speaker 3: what I mean.
- 6:49Speaker 4: I think they're actually in the last the last one.
- 6:52Speaker 4: The old Cornhole went to a playoff. Yeah, yeah, because
- 6:56Speaker 4: it's good stuff. Day seven, I am not missing this marbles.
- 7:06Speaker 4: Well then that's going to be a late night.
- 7:08Speaker 1: That one straight after the Marbles is the first few
- 7:13Speaker 1: rounds of the Eggan Spoon Race. Yes, yes, always very
- 7:18Speaker 1: hotly contested any one competing in Speaking.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Of which, day eleven, I believe Kesey the fan favorite
- 7:28Speaker 4: I think overall Bull Rush.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, totally was.
- 7:33Speaker 5: For a while.
- 7:34Speaker 4: It was bad, but they still did it over in
- 7:37Speaker 4: Europe and they brought it back.
- 7:39Speaker 5: Yeah right, you suppose what about I heard on day
- 7:42Speaker 5: twelve Duck Duck Goose. What you know ductut Goose has.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Never heard of it is that they were cheap in
- 7:54Speaker 1: the entire event. Yeah, sorry, I just made that up. Well,
- 7:58Speaker 1: on day eleven they do have the Brown Championship.
- 8:04Speaker 2: The Hood Arching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hods.
- 8:10Speaker 4: She there on the Hodarchy Big Show this Thursday afternoon.
- 8:13Speaker 4: The time is twenty nine minutes past four o'clock. We're
- 8:16Speaker 4: talking the Commonwealth Games which kick off tomorrow, of course
- 8:20Speaker 4: in Glasgow, and the fowlers.
- 8:22Speaker 3: We're fizzing about.
- 8:23Speaker 5: It certainly are Jason. What we thought would be handy
- 8:25Speaker 5: is if we give you a general overview of all
- 8:28Speaker 5: of the sports that are actually happening at the Commonwealth Games,
- 8:31Speaker 5: because it happens every four years. People get confused between
- 8:33Speaker 5: that and the Olympics and other things as well. So
- 8:35Speaker 5: just one full blown rundown of everything.
- 8:38Speaker 1: All right.
- 8:39Speaker 5: So the first event we're going to see is bowls
- 8:41Speaker 5: and Powa bowls, right, that's going to be the very
- 8:43Speaker 5: first events. Poara Bowls is bawls but with para athletes.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah yeah.
- 8:49Speaker 5: And then so on day one you've got three on
- 8:51Speaker 5: three basketball and three on three wheelchair basketball. So it's
- 8:54Speaker 5: cool artistic gymnastics.
- 8:57Speaker 1: There's three on three basketball in there. Bullshit.
- 9:00Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like, what even is there? It's half court.
- 9:02Speaker 5: It was three on three, but it's literally exactly what
- 9:04Speaker 5: I'm saying.
- 9:05Speaker 1: So it's sort of.
- 9:05Speaker 5: Half half basketball, half fast nice boxing.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Yeah. A bit of those head gear are they? I
- 9:18Speaker 1: don't know? Okay, I say they will be to be honest,
- 9:22Speaker 1: they still got that thing in there where you have
- 9:25Speaker 1: to guess how many jelly beans are in the jar,
- 9:30Speaker 1: and then the winner, the one that's closest, gets a
- 9:32Speaker 1: gold medal, and it gets to keep all the jelly
- 9:35Speaker 1: beans in the jar.
- 9:38Speaker 5: Uh, not that I'm aware of. You've got powerlifting, but
- 9:41Speaker 5: you've got three on three basketball. Yeah, yeah, well that's
- 9:44Speaker 5: an actual sport that you can train. Swimming obviously, all
- 9:49Speaker 5: the disc.
- 9:49Speaker 4: The powerlifting are they doing at the same time, the
- 9:52Speaker 4: strong man bell, the snow and man bell. You know
- 9:55Speaker 4: where they hit the y they hit the thing down
- 9:58Speaker 4: the bottle of the hammer.
- 9:59Speaker 5: And it goes up and it's you're thinking of an arcade.
- 10:03Speaker 3: I know it was in there, it was. Yeah, yeah,
- 10:05Speaker 3: it's been there.
- 10:06Speaker 5: Yeah, you have to wear the Uni tad like pugs Warze,
- 10:11Speaker 5: not in this one. I don't think it's I don't
- 10:12Speaker 5: think it's in this one. You've got netball, You've got
- 10:17Speaker 5: so many different things. That's what's great about you know.
- 10:19Speaker 1: The one that was really good about Edinburgh, which is
- 10:21Speaker 1: where it was, is that where it was last time? Birmingham,
- 10:23Speaker 1: Birmingham thank you? Is that one where they drive it's
- 10:28Speaker 1: a driving one and they're driving on the motorway and
- 10:30Speaker 1: they have to change lanes without running over the cat's eyes.
- 10:32Speaker 4: Oh yes, that's exciting. Yeah, that's wow. Yeah, totally, man totally.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Was that the gold gold for them? It might have
- 10:40Speaker 4: been Redic what's his name there? Yeah, yeah, gold for
- 10:47Speaker 4: New Zealand the Australian.
- 10:52Speaker 5: Did I say weightlifting? Yes, okay, you've got athletics obviously,
- 10:56Speaker 5: so all the exciting stuff that you usually set at
- 10:58Speaker 5: the Olympics as well your track and fear wheelbarrow race.
- 11:04Speaker 5: I'm not sure just as athletics here, it might be
- 11:06Speaker 5: come under that, and I.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Think that comes after the sack race.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Mogi.
- 11:09Speaker 5: Yeah, what's a sack race?
- 11:11Speaker 4: Will we two people from each country get in a
- 11:13Speaker 4: sack and have to hop to the finish line there?
- 11:16Speaker 3: It's good stuff.
- 11:17Speaker 5: What's the distance?
- 11:18Speaker 3: I think about a kilometer.
- 11:25Speaker 5: In a sack?
- 11:26Speaker 2: Yes, the hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and
- 11:31Speaker 2: Kyzy tune in week days at four on Radio Hodaki.
- 11:39Speaker 5: It's be implied July on Radio Hodakis.
- 11:43Speaker 4: I was very excited to learn, actually, fellas that we've
- 11:46Speaker 4: got some new pies in today. So I'll be firing
- 11:49Speaker 4: one of those in the air fly very shortly.
- 11:52Speaker 5: What's your what's your strategy with the air fry?
- 11:54Speaker 1: What do you do? Well?
- 11:55Speaker 4: It's really interesting actually because for some reason people are
- 11:58Speaker 4: putting them in there for eighteen minutes, which seems massively
- 12:02Speaker 4: excessive to me.
- 12:03Speaker 3: So I'm going to go five minutes in the air fry.
- 12:05Speaker 3: Sweet airs, So you.
- 12:07Speaker 5: Don't think that the people that sit in the office
- 12:09Speaker 5: that always eat pies daily in July know how to
- 12:13Speaker 5: cook it properly. No, okay, okay, can you go to
- 12:17Speaker 5: that now? Five minutes and you have to eat the
- 12:19Speaker 5: whole thing.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Makes you remember the pantsman Joe Harrison, who used to
- 12:23Speaker 1: work here. He had the method for preparing in the
- 12:27Speaker 1: air fry and it was always spot on. But I
- 12:28Speaker 1: do remember it being between like thirteen and fifteen minutes
- 12:32Speaker 1: or something. It was a long time. That was from frozen.
- 12:34Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, So I usually do about ten in
- 12:37Speaker 5: the air fryer and then nuke it for a.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Minute in that order.
- 12:42Speaker 5: God, you guys dealers choice mode. It's madness, really.
- 12:46Speaker 4: Hey, But anyway, we've got two hundred and fifty dollars
- 12:49Speaker 4: cash to give away, don't we feellls.
- 12:50Speaker 5: That's thanks to Dad's Pies, who proudly bake award winning
- 12:53Speaker 5: pies for Pile Love in New Zealand.
- 12:55Speaker 1: They're super proud about it.
- 12:56Speaker 3: Oh they are, And why wouldn't you be.
- 12:57Speaker 4: Let's go to the phone lines, get a cam, your
- 12:59Speaker 4: man bars and how's life?
- 13:01Speaker 1: Oh, very good, guys, very good.
- 13:03Speaker 3: Good on you mate. How's beautiful guzzy today? It's mint today.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Who's a chili start?
- 13:08Speaker 1: But it's being beautiful day now?
- 13:11Speaker 3: Tell me Cam, what are you doing? Gizzy?
- 13:15Speaker 5: I'm a chippy. Oh yeah, of course yeah.
- 13:19Speaker 3: And there's a chippy. Cam. It's smoke o time. What
- 13:23Speaker 3: pie you running with? If I'm really hungry, I'll go
- 13:27Speaker 3: for a potato top pile, but I've been doing a
- 13:30Speaker 3: bit of a pipp of steak and cheese.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Good on you mate, the potato top pie that's my
- 13:34Speaker 1: choice as well, Absolutely love it.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Yeah, wow, that's that's just me. I was.
- 13:40Speaker 4: I went to a cafe yesterday, Mogie. You know the
- 13:42Speaker 4: day before that dude mentioned a steak and onion pie.
- 13:45Speaker 4: I haven't seen one of those cafe is at a
- 13:47Speaker 4: steak and bloody at you?
- 13:48Speaker 1: Did you get Lina?
- 13:49Speaker 3: No? Hey Ca, thank you?
- 13:54Speaker 1: Cam Man.
- 13:54Speaker 5: Would you like two hundred and fifty dollars cash?
- 13:56Speaker 1: Oh?
- 13:57Speaker 3: Cam, I'd love to hundred fifty dollars cash?
- 13:59Speaker 4: Thing all right?
- 14:00Speaker 1: Man?
- 14:00Speaker 4: Well it's all yours brother, awesome, no worries. You have
- 14:06Speaker 4: a great day down and Guzzie. I've always loved Gisbone. Incidentally,
- 14:09Speaker 4: it's a beautiful heaps of beautiful beaches, really lovely sort
- 14:13Speaker 4: of township.
- 14:14Speaker 3: I just don't know what I do.
- 14:15Speaker 1: This, I don't spend I was talking about this the
- 14:18Speaker 1: other day when I was watching Britain Cou's Singles Club, Yes,
- 14:21Speaker 1: and they spent some time over in Guzzie, and I
- 14:23Speaker 1: was second, I never get over there, just never ever
- 14:25Speaker 1: get over there. So I'm going to make an effort
- 14:27Speaker 1: the summer get over to Gizzie.
- 14:28Speaker 4: I tell you, it's a little bit out of the way.
- 14:32Speaker 4: It's beautiful, beautiful. Oh, probably five years ago.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Really, I've never known you to go to go I've known.
- 14:42Speaker 4: You to go to my wife's family lives there.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's why you said you didn't want to go.
- 14:48Speaker 4: Well, that's generally why I don't go. But you know,
- 14:51Speaker 4: every now and then you have to make the effort.
- 14:53Speaker 5: You do good stuff fellas, Yeah stuff. Also, just a
- 14:57Speaker 5: quick reminder that there is a serious amount of I
- 15:00Speaker 5: baked into every Dad's pie. Just a little reminder there.
- 15:03Speaker 5: Just just keep that in your.
- 15:08Speaker 3: I'm going to go and put a pie in there.
- 15:09Speaker 5: Man, I'm going to do it for five minutes and
- 15:11Speaker 5: you have to eat the whole thing.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Buddy. Oh though, Will there's Nevana.

- 15:29Speaker 5: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right, Hey feelers. I've started watching the series
- 15:41Speaker 1: Friday Night Lights.
- 15:43Speaker 5: It's classic.
- 15:44Speaker 1: It is a classic. I've already watched it. You still
- 15:47Speaker 1: watch it. I think we would watch it. Everybody was
- 15:49Speaker 1: watching it when we were making working on Avatar down
- 15:52Speaker 1: and Wrington in two thousand and eight. All thet's to
- 15:55Speaker 1: give you a rundown? And what is it? Is about
- 15:58Speaker 1: a small town high school football team in Texas and
- 16:04Speaker 1: all of the drums that go on the entire town,
- 16:06Speaker 1: Their entire lives revolves around the success or failure of
- 16:09Speaker 1: that football team. Yes, in hot dudes playing footy, their
- 16:14Speaker 1: kyzy hot ladies. Yeah, it's an absolute melting pot of
- 16:19Speaker 1: sexual tension. Great, great show. My wife's never seen it,
- 16:24Speaker 1: so I chucked it on and I'm absolutely loving it.
- 16:28Speaker 1: It's it's fairly soap opery, but it's very well written,
- 16:31Speaker 1: great acting. I give it four and a half busies
- 16:34Speaker 1: out of a possible five. It's on Neon. I believe,
- 16:38Speaker 1: and there's about five seasons of it, so I'm loven't it.
- 16:40Speaker 3: It's a great series.
- 16:43Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I love I love Friday Night Lights with
- 16:45Speaker 4: Kyle Chandler, a big fan of he's a magnificent actor.
- 16:50Speaker 1: And his wife there, Connie Britton, I think her name
- 16:53Speaker 1: is also awesome. And then some really hot dudes and
- 16:56Speaker 1: Taylor Ketch be my favorite, Tim Reagan.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Oh, and of course a very young Jesmons Jesse Plemons.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Yeah, and also a very young fellow that played Creed
- 17:10Speaker 1: and just won the Academy Award, Michael Jordan, B Jordan.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Thank you very much, good stuff.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Mat Yeah, it's a really I really enjoyed it, and.
- 17:19Speaker 1: It's sexy, sexykey.
- 17:21Speaker 4: I watched a movie this afternoon actually fellas on Samsung TV, The.
- 17:26Speaker 5: Giver Busy Day.
- 17:27Speaker 4: Then it was a busy morning, but not an afternoon. Jonas,
- 17:31Speaker 4: a young boy who lives in the New World, has
- 17:34Speaker 4: high hopes with the future.
- 17:35Speaker 5: It lives in a new world.
- 17:36Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a very sort of it's a very sci
- 17:40Speaker 4: fi kind.
- 17:41Speaker 5: Of drama part of it, like in the Deli.
- 17:44Speaker 4: No, but wait, after he becomes the keeper of memories
- 17:49Speaker 4: for his community, right, which is a really big accolade
- 17:53Speaker 4: for this particular community. He makes a surprising decision that
- 17:57Speaker 4: is fraught with obstacles, and.
- 17:59Speaker 3: The pre.
- 18:02Speaker 4: The previous keeper of memories, is sort of walking him
- 18:06Speaker 4: through it, but he's a bit of a rogue. Played
- 18:08Speaker 4: by Jeff Bridges, who is another actor that I very
- 18:11Speaker 4: much enjoy. It's quite a visually stunning, interesting sci fi kind.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Of vibe to it.
- 18:18Speaker 4: It hasn't got great ratings on IMDb six point four
- 18:22Speaker 4: out of ten, and.
- 18:22Speaker 1: I'm not surprised.
- 18:24Speaker 3: Thirty four percent Rotten Tomatoes.
- 18:28Speaker 1: The only writing that met is around here is Busies, Yeah,
- 18:30Speaker 1: and I give it a solid two point nine.
- 18:33Speaker 5: Busies don't recommend three is the recommendation, Yeah, fellas. I've
- 18:39Speaker 5: been watching Black Books, the UK sitcom with Bill Bailey
- 18:43Speaker 5: and Dylan Moran, who is famously our worst ever interview.
- 18:45Speaker 5: What's on that is on Watch Prime and I'm in
- 18:49Speaker 5: season and it's like, the first season is great, second
- 18:51Speaker 5: season is Dila Moran on his own, yeah, writing it,
- 18:54Speaker 5: and then the third season he's brought in two other
- 18:56Speaker 5: writers and the third season is probably the best. Literally
- 18:59Speaker 5: an episode where Bill Bailey and the main character, Bernard Black,
- 19:04Speaker 5: they decide they're going to write a kid's book because
- 19:06Speaker 5: it's really easy to write a kid's book, and then
- 19:07Speaker 5: they get really drunk and then they can't with an idea,
- 19:11Speaker 5: and then they come up with this great idea of
- 19:12Speaker 5: an elephant who lost his balloon, and then they get
- 19:14Speaker 5: so drunk that they're worried that they're going to be
- 19:16Speaker 5: so famous and successful that they decide they have to
- 19:19Speaker 5: burn the book because they can't handle that. And it's
- 19:21Speaker 5: just this whole it's just stupid. Yes, very very very
- 19:25Speaker 5: very entertaining classic UK sitcom.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Dylan the Rani's a very very funny man and a terrible.
- 19:31Speaker 5: Interview on Yeah, and he's brilliant in that show. So
- 19:35Speaker 5: I was gutted when we interviewed him.
- 19:36Speaker 1: I was like, oh, man, yeah.
- 19:39Speaker 5: I give Black Books four point one buzzy. It's just
- 19:43Speaker 5: easy watching classic UK comedy.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Yeah, great stuff.
- 19:46Speaker 4: Hey, but a pigeon chat after five o'clock, Man, I'm
- 19:50Speaker 4: fizzed up.
- 19:53Speaker 2: The whole king Big Show with Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 19:57Speaker 2: in week days and four on radio.

- 20:01Speaker 4: getting through your Thursday tickety boo. You're listening to the
- 20:04Speaker 4: Big Show. Incidentally brought to you by Reburger.
- 20:08Speaker 5: Crave worthy street food freshly made with Reburger.
- 20:12Speaker 4: Ah, thanks, yeah, great stuff. Incidentally, how was it last night?
- 20:17Speaker 4: Cause he had a bachelor night. Do you have some
- 20:18Speaker 4: really big gear, mate? Yeah, it with good stuff. What
- 20:21Speaker 4: did you get some fries with it?
- 20:23Speaker 1: Ah?
- 20:24Speaker 5: Well, I got fries with it Coke zero Burger fries.
- 20:29Speaker 5: That's my combo. Is that for you or you're doing
- 20:31Speaker 5: at the moment?
- 20:33Speaker 1: That's what I hed? Oh, well done.
- 20:34Speaker 5: And you're not gonna believe this too, because I do
- 20:36Speaker 5: also like the Regent Red, which is the one he
- 20:38Speaker 5: always says, you know, but it is my favorite.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Good man.
- 20:42Speaker 3: I just I can totally understand why you do that.
- 20:45Speaker 5: But get this. I told the story to my wife
- 20:47Speaker 5: and she told me it was boring.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I ordered it wrong.
- 20:51Speaker 5: I ordered it for seven thirty pm right after the
- 20:54Speaker 5: show tomorrow. Yes today, sorry, left here, stopped, got milk,
- 20:58Speaker 5: got wine, got Reburger, seven thirty one, was ready, took
- 21:03Speaker 5: that home. I was eating by seven forty tucking in there.
- 21:06Speaker 1: That's not boring, bro.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Let's have a game think that is how many wines
- 21:10Speaker 3: did you have one?
- 21:11Speaker 5: Glass of red wine. It was a cab sev.
- 21:13Speaker 1: What'd you do with the rest of the bottle sitting
- 21:15Speaker 1: at home and have another glass tonight?
- 21:18Speaker 5: Well I didn't cane the whole thing and have a
- 21:20Speaker 5: pack of darts. I'm sorry, thank you, hey, fellas. Speaking
- 21:26Speaker 5: of exciting stuff, pigeon chat up NeXT's got an exciting update.
- 21:31Speaker 5: This is huge of course. If you don't know, The
- 21:33Speaker 5: Big Show has purchased a racing pigeon.
- 21:35Speaker 1: No what No, yeah you bought one?
- 21:39Speaker 5: Well no, we're all going forth on it, aren't we.
- 21:42Speaker 3: It's Stone Temple Pilots.
- 21:44Speaker 2: The Darchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy. Tune
- 21:47Speaker 2: in week days at four on Radio hod Ache.
- 21:50Speaker 4: Yes, indeed, news there on the Hodarky Big Show this
- 21:53Speaker 4: Thursday evening.
- 21:54Speaker 3: The time is twelve minutes past five o'clock.
- 21:57Speaker 5: The fellas the Big Show have gone four ways on
- 22:00Speaker 5: a racing pigeon four hundred dollars. It cost one hundred
- 22:03Speaker 5: bucks each. Fellas. I'll send you my bank account to
- 22:06Speaker 5: get that going, because I paid the money and this
- 22:09Speaker 5: pigeon will be racing down south there. It is based
- 22:12Speaker 5: in Wamadou and we've got pigeon Tim who's running the
- 22:15Speaker 5: whole thing. We bought pigeon one oh nine, which is
- 22:17Speaker 5: the one hundred and ninth pigeon out of it? Was
- 22:19Speaker 5: it one hundred and fifteen?
- 22:20Speaker 7: Yes, pigeons, and you bought I just want to really
- 22:25Speaker 7: stress that. I just want to correct you there against
- 22:27Speaker 7: a lot of andson, So just for clarity's sake, you
- 22:36Speaker 7: bought a bird pigeon.
- 22:45Speaker 5: Fellas bloody exciting development pigeon. Tim down there and Timaru,
- 22:50Speaker 5: who's been organizing this whole thing for us, I messaged
- 22:53Speaker 5: him today and I said, pigeon, Tim, can I get
- 22:55Speaker 5: a photo of the pigeon? Please, the racing pigeon, because
- 22:58Speaker 5: you guys have been going like, what's it? It's been
- 23:00Speaker 5: a racing pigeon and a regular pigeon that's just outside
- 23:02Speaker 5: right now, crapping on the you know, on the bloody
- 23:05Speaker 5: pavement out there.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:06Speaker 5: And he sent me a photo, and I think, if
- 23:08Speaker 5: you've got your phone, I'm gonna send it to the
- 23:10Speaker 5: group right now. Prepare to be blown away, Parks. I
- 23:14Speaker 5: get you to put this on the big show Instagram mate.
- 23:16Speaker 5: Feast your eyes. Feast your eyes on pigeon one o nine,
- 23:22Speaker 5: the racing pigeon.
- 23:24Speaker 1: I mean it's a pigeon, Isn't it definitely a pigeon?
- 23:28Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean just sort of.
- 23:32Speaker 3: I see about.
- 23:34Speaker 4: Five hundred of those down on the square every day.
- 23:38Speaker 5: Don't be filled mate to the untrained honker. You know
- 23:41Speaker 5: that might look exactly like every other pigeon I've ever seen.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Does it have excrement on its head?
- 23:48Speaker 5: What does it?
- 23:50Speaker 4: It's just yeah, it looks like by its eye there,
- 23:52Speaker 4: it's got a yeah, bit of pigeon crap.
- 23:53Speaker 3: It looks like it's defecated on itself.
- 23:57Speaker 5: Well, no, I don't think it's just just the color.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Of Can I say, it doesn't look like it's all there.
- 24:03Speaker 1: I'm concerned about this, well not, you know, I'm concerned
- 24:06Speaker 1: for you, Keezy, because your pigeon looks like it's going
- 24:10Speaker 1: to fly around in circles?
- 24:13Speaker 4: Can I also note too, it seems to have isolated
- 24:17Speaker 4: itself for being the corner of the shed there. Yeah,
- 24:19Speaker 4: all the other pigeons are yacking away and Pigeon one
- 24:23Speaker 4: O nine's just.
- 24:24Speaker 5: Well, he's got his mind on the buddy, the big race.
- 24:26Speaker 3: Can I just don't think it has a mind at all.
- 24:28Speaker 3: It just looks like a bit of a dare brain.
- 24:30Speaker 1: The other problem that I've got Keyzy here, and you'll
- 24:33Speaker 1: be able to see this if you go on the
- 24:34Speaker 1: Instagram as I'm concerned that you've been you've been done,
- 24:39Speaker 1: You've been had. And this is why I don't want
- 24:41Speaker 1: to come in on this, because that bird has quite
- 24:44Speaker 1: clearly got to tag around. It's a leg that's got
- 24:47Speaker 1: a seven on it. Now, if this is bird one
- 24:50Speaker 1: oh nine of a possible one fifteen, can you tell
- 24:53Speaker 1: me why it's got a seven on its leg. I
- 24:55Speaker 1: get the feeling that somebody has just taken this off
- 24:58Speaker 1: off a website somewhere and they're feeding it to old Keysy,
- 25:02Speaker 1: just like they're feeding them a line of bullshit. This
- 25:05Speaker 1: has cast your four hundred bucks, Skezy. You bought a picture.
- 25:08Speaker 4: That's a really good point, And I mean that's the
- 25:10Speaker 4: sort of thing i'd do, Keysy, You know what I mean,
- 25:12Speaker 4: be sucking into buying a pigeon?
- 25:14Speaker 1: Well you have.
- 25:15Speaker 4: But and Mogi's right on further investigation, if you, you know,
- 25:21Speaker 4: expand the photo out there, there is a seven on
- 25:24Speaker 4: its tag.
- 25:24Speaker 5: Hang on, so there are one hundred and fifteen pigeons, right,
- 25:27Speaker 5: and this particular race that's coming up. Yeah, Okay, that
- 25:31Speaker 5: number of that pigeon, it could be one of a
- 25:33Speaker 5: thousand down at the Old Bird.
- 25:34Speaker 1: You're talking like you're an expert keyser.
- 25:36Speaker 5: No, I'm just trying to dig myself out of this
- 25:38Speaker 5: just in case it is true. I mean, we can
- 25:40Speaker 5: call Pigeon Tim at some stage and just confide.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Look, if you are being ripped off more, the better,
- 25:46Speaker 1: you know. I think I think that works for me.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Even better. If there is no pigeon race and you've
- 25:51Speaker 1: been ripped off of four hundred bucks, that's good staff.
- 25:55Speaker 5: I mean, come on, man, I'm not going to get
- 25:56Speaker 5: swindled in some pigeon buying scam. I mean, this is legit.
- 26:00Speaker 5: We chatted to Pigeon Tim earlier in the week. He
- 26:01Speaker 5: sent me a photo of a pigeon and just because
- 26:04Speaker 5: it has a seven on its leg and we've got
- 26:06Speaker 5: pigeon one oh nine, I mean, actually I'm just looking
- 26:09Speaker 5: at the text. He said as well, and this is
- 26:11Speaker 5: not a lie. It says bird one oh three. So
- 26:18Speaker 5: said the bird one oh three. He's forgotten the lie.
- 26:20Speaker 5: He's told you.
- 26:21Speaker 1: That's the problem that.
- 26:22Speaker 5: That and then I've just gone, oh, I assume he's
- 26:27Speaker 5: made he's mixed it up and then I've got a
- 26:28Speaker 5: beautiful specimen and he's said absolutely top blood lines to boot.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Yeah, so he is lying through his teeth. Do you
- 26:34Speaker 1: look at that pigeon. There's nobody in the world that
- 26:36Speaker 1: thinks that is a top blood line.
- 26:40Speaker 3: No, And has it got wonky wings?
- 26:42Speaker 5: No, it doesn't have wonky wings. They are not on
- 26:44Speaker 5: the piss. But look, fellers, things are heating up. When
- 26:48Speaker 5: it comes to the pigeon, Pugs has chucked it up
- 26:50Speaker 5: on The Big Show's Instagram. There, he's gonna pin that post.
- 26:54Speaker 5: We're gonna get people to comment what we should name it. Okay,
- 26:57Speaker 5: that is going to be the be all and end.
- 26:59Speaker 5: Or when it comes to the names, and at the
- 27:01Speaker 5: end of the week, which is tomorrow, we will have
- 27:03Speaker 5: a name sorted. Whoever's named that, whoever named it fifty
- 27:07Speaker 5: dollars with a rebook.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Oh good stuff for me.
- 27:09Speaker 5: So here to the Hohodarky Big Shows Instagram. There name
- 27:11Speaker 5: the damn pigeon and you could win some delicious reburger
- 27:16Speaker 5: smashing pumpkins.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Yes, the Hidarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy
- 27:21Speaker 2: tune in four on Radiochy.
- 27:24Speaker 4: Yes, indeed, Grinspoon there on the Darchy Big Show this
- 27:29Speaker 4: Thursday evening. The time, it's five twenty six, and we
- 27:32Speaker 4: had a fascinating chat yesterday Mogi while you're away about fitness,
- 27:37Speaker 4: because I was trying to cancel my gym subscription from
- 27:40Speaker 4: when I lived out West for the third time, I
- 27:44Speaker 4: might add. And the guy that I was talking to
- 27:46Speaker 4: was a big fan of the Big Show, right, and
- 27:48Speaker 4: he said, incidentally, who would you say would be the
- 27:50Speaker 4: fittest in the Big Show?
- 27:52Speaker 5: Yeah, And that led to this discussion.
- 27:55Speaker 4: Now, I know you go to the Jim puksand as
- 27:58Speaker 4: does Mogi, and so you'd think, oh, well, that'd be
- 28:00Speaker 4: fitter than haughty j But the Jim Fit, you know
- 28:03Speaker 4: what I mean?
- 28:04Speaker 3: And in inversive.
- 28:05Speaker 4: Comments Jim Fit, they're pretty boys and the fitness world.
- 28:09Speaker 5: Can I just say, Jase, there's a really easy way
- 28:11Speaker 5: to figure this out. Someone has to run ten k's
- 28:14Speaker 5: from the show. Who's it going to be going to you?
- 28:16Speaker 3: Because you'll pull a Hammy.
- 28:17Speaker 5: No, No, listen, Jace. If one of us has to run
- 28:20Speaker 5: ten kilometers, jog ten kilometers, go for a run, are
- 28:23Speaker 5: you the one to do it?
- 28:24Speaker 3: Well, this is a question I'm asking No, I'm.
- 28:26Speaker 5: Asking you right now, are you seriously the one to
- 28:29Speaker 5: run ten kilometers?
- 28:30Speaker 3: I think so given my life.
- 28:34Speaker 5: So that's a discussion with having.
- 28:36Speaker 4: And I was chatting to Mogi just in the office
- 28:38Speaker 4: before before we started the show, and he said he
- 28:40Speaker 4: listened to that chat and he said.
- 28:41Speaker 3: Actually, the weird thing is haughty. J I'd agree with that.
- 28:45Speaker 1: I don't know who you were talking about. You're talking
- 28:47Speaker 1: to the fridge again, and what was interested to what
- 28:50Speaker 1: I found. I did actually listen to that chat yesterday,
- 28:52Speaker 1: and what I did find interesting, Jace, was that you
- 28:55Speaker 1: were positioning yourself as being the fittest person and the
- 29:00Speaker 1: big show team, and that conversation came out of you
- 29:03Speaker 1: talking to a guy at the gym while you were
- 29:05Speaker 1: trying to get out of your gym membership the fourth
- 29:08Speaker 1: time and a year. Haven't been an over a year. Look,
- 29:12Speaker 1: it is an interesting one. But the question becomes the course,
- 29:15Speaker 1: how do you measure fitness? Yeah, and there's so many
- 29:18Speaker 1: different ways that you can be Jim fit, which is
- 29:20Speaker 1: completely different to going for a run to be run
- 29:23Speaker 1: fit running and also again swimming fit is completely different. Again,
- 29:27Speaker 1: so I think it depends how you measure it and
- 29:29Speaker 1: there would have to be a series of tests now
- 29:31Speaker 1: if we just you know, chatting idly. I had a
- 29:35Speaker 1: phrase pop into my mind from the from the podcast
- 29:38Speaker 1: that we did earlier. I'm glad it didn't come out
- 29:40Speaker 1: of my mouth just now. But I think obviously the
- 29:45Speaker 1: fittest of makes us all of the moment would be
- 29:46Speaker 1: pugs On. Yes, because he's been he's been going to
- 29:49Speaker 1: the gym relentlessly. He has been working on his strength
- 29:54Speaker 1: is really good. He's benching over one hundred kilos at
- 29:57Speaker 1: the moment. He's running over five k six zero point
- 30:00Speaker 1: two k's. I think he's up to at the moment.
- 30:02Speaker 1: It's aily for eight k's by the end of the year,
- 30:03Speaker 1: which is great. I can't I couldn't tell you what
- 30:05Speaker 1: I could run, but it would be about four hundred
- 30:07Speaker 1: meters probably something like that. I haven't been out of
- 30:09Speaker 1: the gym this year either. Yeah, having said that, I'll
- 30:12Speaker 1: definitely be the second first coming in third. And Jason,
- 30:16Speaker 1: I know, look, I know that you walk a lot.
- 30:18Speaker 4: Man eighteen thousand steps yesterday, which is the equivalent of
- 30:23Speaker 4: sixteen kilometers.
- 30:25Speaker 1: It's interesting because you said on the show you said
- 30:27Speaker 1: it was sixteen thousand steps.
- 30:29Speaker 4: I can show you the imperative what does it call
- 30:31Speaker 4: empirical proof?
- 30:34Speaker 3: A hard day, of course.
- 30:36Speaker 1: But wandering around with your hands behind your back, just
- 30:39Speaker 1: checking out the view and you know, with your skull
- 30:42Speaker 1: Candy is on listening to some tunes. I'm not sure
- 30:44Speaker 1: if it's hardcore exercise. You don't have a very girthy
- 30:47Speaker 1: git either. As we touched on yesterday, that's said you're
- 30:50Speaker 1: definitely fitter than Keyzy, so I'd put you in at
- 30:52Speaker 1: third and then Kezy coming up in the rearitse I mean,
- 30:56Speaker 1: doesn't do any kind of exercise I do. He goes
- 31:00Speaker 1: a stroll once a Sunday. He's giving up the gym,
- 31:03Speaker 1: giving up running, and does nothing else except for eight
- 31:06Speaker 1: hot pots.
- 31:09Speaker 3: Yes, well, here's the funny thing in that.
- 31:11Speaker 4: And you know because Keysy and I used to walk
- 31:14Speaker 4: to the car park every day, you know, when I
- 31:16Speaker 4: used to live out West and I was forever having
- 31:19Speaker 4: to wait for him, you know what I mean, because
- 31:21Speaker 4: he'd just fall behind and us.
- 31:22Speaker 5: Like, come on, look, Jase, I will give you okay.
- 31:28Speaker 5: So what I think just's what you're saying is there
- 31:31Speaker 5: are different types of fitness and different different things that
- 31:33Speaker 5: we would be good at For example, I think I
- 31:36Speaker 5: would be up top two in terms of aerobic fitness
- 31:40Speaker 5: if we had to go for a five k run. Pugs,
- 31:42Speaker 5: I think you would be the best. I think I
- 31:43Speaker 5: would be second. Moggie. I think you and Pugs would
- 31:47Speaker 5: be the top two in terms of strength. You know
- 31:49Speaker 5: what I mean. Jase, I think you'd be the best
- 31:52Speaker 5: one when it comes to fitness. Do in your mouth.
- 32:00Speaker 2: The Hdichy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 32:04Speaker 2: in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 32:06Speaker 4: Potelica there on the Hadarky Big Show this Thursday evening.
- 32:11Speaker 4: The time is exactly twenty minutes to sex Fellas.
- 32:15Speaker 1: We've had a text come through here. It says, just
- 32:17Speaker 1: tuned in. I heard Mogi. I think it needs another
- 32:19Speaker 1: day or two off. I think you sound fine, sound better.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Din't give any sound better than you did yesterday. Yesterday
- 32:25Speaker 1: I managed to get into the doctors on the same
- 32:27Speaker 1: day that I called.
- 32:29Speaker 3: It's the same day dayved.
- 32:33Speaker 5: That's from an aired as.
- 32:33Speaker 1: It's reference from an ad year drink driving ad twenty
- 32:36Speaker 1: years ago. Bloody good, bloody good ad and so I
- 32:40Speaker 1: was pretty staked to get in there. They gave me
- 32:42Speaker 1: once again antibiotics, because I always get this exact same thing.
- 32:46Speaker 1: But while it's made me feel better, I have noticed
- 32:49Speaker 1: that there are a few side effects, and I don't
- 32:52Speaker 1: think people really consider the side effects. They're always about
- 32:54Speaker 1: wanting to solve the issue that they've got that made
- 32:56Speaker 1: them sick enough to go to the doctor of the
- 32:57Speaker 1: first place. That's right, but nobody ever looked that the
- 33:00Speaker 1: label and goes, oh, I don't know how I feel
- 33:01Speaker 1: about these side effects. I don't know how I feel,
- 33:04Speaker 1: for example, about this side effect here. This is one
- 33:07Speaker 1: of them, diarrhea, And I think to myself, well, if
- 33:11Speaker 1: I can clear up my sinuses feel better in that
- 33:16Speaker 1: way and have diarrhea, would I be happy with that?
- 33:19Speaker 1: And the answer is yes, So I'm happy with diar It's.
- 33:22Speaker 5: Only a chance, right, it's a possible side effect.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Well, it says says here common if anyone's going to
- 33:29Speaker 1: get diarrhea, it's smoking. Yeah, I probe myself on my diarrhea.
- 33:32Speaker 5: Yeah, you're the man at it.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Nausea or vomiting. I haven't had that yet, but I'll
- 33:38Speaker 1: be happy with that as a side effect, skin rash.
- 33:42Speaker 1: But there's some more less common side effects here keys it,
- 33:44Speaker 1: but you can still get them black hairy tongue, straight
- 33:49Speaker 1: up black hairy targ It's got hairy and inverted commons.
- 33:53Speaker 1: So I don't know what it means by it feels weird.
- 33:56Speaker 1: I don't know, but that says it's temporary and harm
- 34:00Speaker 1: but I'd rather not have that if it's all the same.
- 34:02Speaker 5: Yeah, so you have something black and hairy and oh.
- 34:08Speaker 4: See here, because you were talking about you're telling me
- 34:13Speaker 4: what drug it.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Was heloss hes anyway, So that's fine. Homicidal tendencies, what
- 34:24Speaker 1: do you mean?
- 34:24Speaker 5: Oh yeah, that's like really that's Sandy bardics. What so
- 34:28Speaker 5: you take basic Andy bardics and you're just like a
- 34:32Speaker 5: rage and you want to Yeah, but it's getting angry.
- 34:34Speaker 5: Then there's homicidal Yeah, absolutely, you you should be at
- 34:38Speaker 5: home right now.
- 34:39Speaker 1: If you've got that. Don't tell me what to do.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Don't you ever tell me what to do? H got that? Sorry? Bogie?
- 34:52Speaker 3: Did you just? There was a noise?
- 34:55Speaker 1: There wasn't it easy?
- 35:03Speaker 3: What I did not fight?
- 35:05Speaker 5: There was Moggi.
- 35:06Speaker 3: There's food fighters.
- 35:08Speaker 2: The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hdarchy.
- 35:12Speaker 4: Jeane's addiction there on the Hodarchy Big Show. This Thursday evening.
- 35:16Speaker 4: The time is nearly eight minutes to six o'clock. And Mogi,
- 35:20Speaker 4: you were away sick yesterday, mate, And I've got to
- 35:23Speaker 4: be honest with you. I'm glad you were because something
- 35:27Speaker 4: happened yesterday that really upset me. In fact, and it's
- 35:32Speaker 4: no exaggeration to say, I was up at one o'clock
- 35:37Speaker 4: this morning just pacing on the lounge going, wow, pretty upset.
- 35:40Speaker 4: Couldn't sleep, my brain was wearing. And we were having
- 35:43Speaker 4: a little chat off here about going to see the
- 35:46Speaker 4: movie The Odyssey, yes, and the Idea yeah, together all
- 35:52Speaker 4: the big show fellers, et cetera, et cetera. And we
- 35:56Speaker 4: were like, oh, but I think Mogi wants to see
- 35:57Speaker 4: it with his wife. And we're like, well, we can
- 36:00Speaker 4: can work all that out. Yeah, sure, And so Kesey
- 36:03Speaker 4: was like, oh, well, Tuesday, it's an eighth it's all
- 36:06Speaker 4: booked out. Wednesday it's booked out. Thursday it's poked out.
- 36:09Speaker 4: And I said to him, and I quote, well, why
- 36:12Speaker 4: don't we go and watch it on the weekend, on
- 36:14Speaker 4: a secday or a Sunday. And he said to me,
- 36:18Speaker 4: I'm not wasting my weekend with you. And I went sorry,
- 36:22Speaker 4: I don't remember saying that, and he said, and then
- 36:25Speaker 4: he said because I thought I thought he'd misheard. And
- 36:29Speaker 4: then he said, and I quote, nne ah, mate, you're
- 36:33Speaker 4: a weekday mate, are you?
- 36:35Speaker 3: And I went, what do you mean by that?
- 36:36Speaker 4: And he said, well, I'll hang out with you on weekdays,
- 36:39Speaker 4: but I'm not wasting my weekend going with you guys
- 36:42Speaker 4: to a movie.
- 36:43Speaker 5: And I was like, do you know that?
- 36:45Speaker 1: Wow?
- 36:47Speaker 3: Because I've always assumed we're all good mates.
- 36:49Speaker 4: You know what I mean, I'm quite happy to hang
- 36:52Speaker 4: out with Mogi on a Saturday or a Sunday.
- 36:54Speaker 3: I don't differentiate the days, and stead of find out
- 36:57Speaker 3: that I'm a weekday.
- 36:59Speaker 4: Mate and that Kety doesn't want to waste his weekend
- 37:03Speaker 4: on me over the weekend.
- 37:05Speaker 3: It hit man, I'll be honest with you. Really hurt
- 37:07Speaker 3: my feelings.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Yeah, But as I say, Jay's the truth here. It's
- 37:10Speaker 1: on with Kezy on this one. If I could avoid
- 37:12Speaker 1: you guys Monday to Friday as well, I'll chuck that
- 37:15Speaker 1: in there too.
- 37:16Speaker 5: See Moogi. This is so this is a bit awkward
- 37:19Speaker 5: now because I don't remember saying that at all.
- 37:21Speaker 3: Now you're pretty steamed.
- 37:22Speaker 5: And so I was steamed yesterday as well. Was I
- 37:27Speaker 5: What I said was because we want to see the Odyssey, right,
- 37:31Speaker 5: but we want to see it Imax, which is the
- 37:33Speaker 5: really really big theater that I think it's only on
- 37:35Speaker 5: Queen Street. I think you're right, and it's booked out
- 37:38Speaker 5: weeks in advance. And Jay suggested we go and see
- 37:42Speaker 5: the Odyssey right in the middle of a Saturday or
- 37:44Speaker 5: a Sunday, at like lunchtime. And I could not think
- 37:46Speaker 5: of anything worse than watching a three hour movie in
- 37:48Speaker 5: the middle of a day on the sun's shining out
- 37:50Speaker 5: three and a half You know, that's a nighttime thing
- 37:53Speaker 5: for me. You go out for dinner, you go to
- 37:54Speaker 5: the Odyssey. Yeah, it's great. I didn't. I don't remember
- 37:57Speaker 5: saying I don't want to hang out with you at
- 37:58Speaker 5: the weekend, Jason. And if that, if I did say that,
- 38:01Speaker 5: I didn't mean it.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Me neither. No, I me neither. But that's interesting that
- 38:07Speaker 1: you say that, Kisa. So you'd rather go out for
- 38:09Speaker 1: dinner and then go to a movie for three and
- 38:11Speaker 1: a half hours that finishes around midnight.
- 38:16Speaker 4: It's so funny you say that, because I said, there's
- 38:19Speaker 4: no way.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Make he's going to do that.
- 38:23Speaker 4: No.
- 38:23Speaker 1: For me, the dream is that I'll be aiming for
- 38:25Speaker 1: and I'd love for you guys to come along, But
- 38:27Speaker 1: my wife hates you. Oh yeah, that's the trouble. I
- 38:30Speaker 1: did get all of you. Yeah yeah, but but to
- 38:34Speaker 1: go at ten o'clock in the morning along to midweek,
- 38:38Speaker 1: to go to when I'm next to see that, that's
- 38:40Speaker 1: that's my dream. And the least people there the better.
- 38:43Speaker 1: But you guys, I love you guys to be there obviously.
- 38:46Speaker 5: Right, it's just my wife, which I just don't recall
- 38:49Speaker 5: your wife ever having I can't imagine what we would
- 38:51Speaker 5: have done, you know, like.
- 38:52Speaker 4: Yeah, but you don't see the way she looks at
- 38:54Speaker 4: you when you're getting into your dumplings.
- 38:56Speaker 5: She's never watched me eat dumplings ever.
- 39:01Speaker 3: So anyway, anywhere.
- 39:06Speaker 4: Now, listen, that's okay, listen, water under the bridge, Keezy.
- 39:09Speaker 4: We'll find out where I'm well, we'll find a weekday
- 39:13Speaker 4: when the team can do it.
- 39:15Speaker 5: Now, we just go for a weekday morning, yeah.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, cool? Hey, now coming up after six o'clock.
- 39:22Speaker 4: By the way, old Mogi's got a he's got a
- 39:25Speaker 4: herb disaster on his hands.
- 39:27Speaker 5: He certainly does. Plus I found an interesting article Fellers
- 39:31Speaker 5: about aging gracefully.
- 39:35Speaker 2: The Hold Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 39:38Speaker 2: tune in weekdays at four on Radio Hold.
- 39:41Speaker 4: I can welcome back your massive bagbones. Hope your Thursday night.
- 39:44Speaker 3: Is absolutely going off.
- 39:46Speaker 4: You're listening to the Big Show, incidentally brought to you
- 39:49Speaker 4: by Rebig.
- 39:50Speaker 5: Years, handcrafted Big Years, loaded fres and the fries and
- 39:54Speaker 5: eats that will change the game.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Scrumptedly obious say something a little bit new there you
- 40:00Speaker 1: with frizz. Yeah, so you thought yourself that doesn't sound
- 40:02Speaker 1: anything like I was like putting some mustard on it.
- 40:06Speaker 1: It didn't work, Mogie.
- 40:08Speaker 4: When you're on your death bed yesterday, did your wife
- 40:12Speaker 4: make you like a chicken broth or anything?
- 40:14Speaker 1: What do we have? You say?
- 40:15Speaker 4: No?
- 40:15Speaker 1: Actually I ended up being the one to make the dinner.
- 40:17Speaker 1: It was a mushroom, just one a mushroom. I just
- 40:22Speaker 1: made a mushroom and everybody loved it. It was a pie.
- 40:25Speaker 1: It was a mushroom pie, mushroom leak and lentils. So
- 40:31Speaker 1: it was I swear to god, it was absolutely delicious.
- 40:34Speaker 1: And there. Because I haven't eaten any meat this week,
- 40:37Speaker 1: I'm trying to stay away from mate, which was just
- 40:39Speaker 1: going good. It's going good, but it slowed up my
- 40:41Speaker 1: bow I had a very heavy bowl a couple of
- 40:45Speaker 1: days ago. They I was up and down single, I
- 40:48Speaker 1: was up and down. There, brother, the old the old
- 40:53Speaker 1: toilet there will do that to you there. To be fair,
- 40:56Speaker 1: I don't know what it was, but it's probably a
- 40:58Speaker 1: change of diet. But i'd like to it to go
- 41:00Speaker 1: for a week or two. I used to be, indeed
- 41:03Speaker 1: a vegan, as you know, and I remember eating my
- 41:06Speaker 1: meals and feeling very light. Yes, you know, you're good
- 41:09Speaker 1: as gold, but I'm not like that. I get tired
- 41:11Speaker 1: after a meal.
- 41:12Speaker 3: Yeah. Can you do me your favor and just keep
- 41:13Speaker 3: us up to date in your bowel movement? Can you
- 41:16Speaker 3: make us kesey? What are you eating tonight?
- 41:21Speaker 5: We've got our last sort of food bag, another one
- 41:25Speaker 5: of those Mexican numbers. Now we've eaten all three of
- 41:27Speaker 5: the Mexican meals and now we've got one left over
- 41:29Speaker 5: meal because we accidentally ordered food bags shot up and
- 41:32Speaker 5: we've forgot that. We forgot to cancel the subscription. And
- 41:34Speaker 5: this one is a low carved chicken salad. Instead of rice,
- 41:38Speaker 5: it's got a grated cauliflower and so I am not
- 41:42Speaker 5: looking forward.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Are you going to add you must add a ramp
- 41:44Speaker 1: or something to that? Yeah, I'm going to My wife
- 41:48Speaker 1: has decided she's canceling the food box whatever one we're getting,
- 41:52Speaker 1: and she's she's researched some recipes online and she's going
- 41:55Speaker 1: to shop accordingly. Yeah, so stay tuned next week when
- 41:59Speaker 1: that happens.
- 42:00Speaker 3: You can I make a suggestion read your meal.
- 42:02Speaker 5: Sure, Bennette, I had said I would love to ben
- 42:05Speaker 5: it and just get reburger or something. Honestly, my wife's
- 42:08Speaker 5: the same. We're not fizzed up. The chicken goes off
- 42:11Speaker 5: today as well, So you.
- 42:14Speaker 3: See that's too close to the bone for me.
- 42:16Speaker 2: The Darky Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy tune
- 42:20Speaker 2: in on radio.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Yeah, man, absolutely to anyone got an answer for that? Nah,
- 42:27Speaker 1: It's one of those questions.
- 42:30Speaker 5: What's on the news with me?
- 42:34Speaker 1: Kazy? Do you mind?
- 42:36Speaker 5: Man?
- 42:37Speaker 1: I was just saying, it's one of those questions where
- 42:39Speaker 1: there is no answer rhetorical, yeah, man.
- 42:44Speaker 5: Ah, So just what's in the news of me?
- 42:46Speaker 6: Keys?
- 42:46Speaker 5: He came across an interesting article today, fellers do. This
- 42:49Speaker 5: is from the Sydney Morning Herald. No idea if that's
- 42:52Speaker 5: a quality outlet. I've got no idea. No, but the
- 42:54Speaker 5: article is six weird signs you're actually aging well ha
- 42:58Speaker 5: ha ha, and I thought, hey, might check this out.
- 43:00Speaker 5: Obviously haughty j you're almost forty, Mogi, you're almost fifty.
- 43:05Speaker 5: Question number one. You can put a sock on while
- 43:07Speaker 5: standing up?
- 43:08Speaker 1: Oh yeah? Can you do that? Chase?
- 43:10Speaker 5: Because I asked you this yesterday and you said no,
- 43:11Speaker 5: you can't.
- 43:12Speaker 1: No, I can't right.
- 43:14Speaker 3: I struggle to put pants on standing up?
- 43:16Speaker 5: So do you lie back on the bed door?
- 43:17Speaker 4: Because I've got really dodgy ankles, and so I go,
- 43:20Speaker 4: especially when I'm stiff in the morning.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Can you do that?
- 43:22Speaker 5: MOGGI?
- 43:23Speaker 1: Yes, yes, put my sock on standing up. We should
- 43:29Speaker 1: do this. We should video this is great.
- 43:33Speaker 5: It gets a bitter too. You can hold a deep
- 43:35Speaker 5: flat footed squat.
- 43:38Speaker 3: Yes, yes, I've got flat feet naturally.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Yeah too. I can't go to the army and I
- 43:46Speaker 1: had to lie about it in order to get into
- 43:48Speaker 1: the army. Are you in the army?
- 43:51Speaker 3: And I was only fourteen?
- 43:55Speaker 5: You can get up off the floor without using your hands.
- 43:59Speaker 5: Do you want to try the right now?
- 44:00Speaker 1: Jason?
- 44:01Speaker 5: While I film it?
- 44:02Speaker 3: What am I doing? Am I lying on the floor.
- 44:04Speaker 5: So you slip down on the floor. Pugs will film
- 44:05Speaker 5: it right now, you slip down on the floor and
- 44:07Speaker 5: try and get up without using your hands. All right, okay,
- 44:10Speaker 5: there he goes, He goes, he's sitting down all right?
- 44:13Speaker 6: Three?
- 44:14Speaker 1: Two?
- 44:15Speaker 5: One't go?
- 44:23Speaker 2: How do you?
- 44:24Speaker 3: How do you?
- 44:27Speaker 4: Hands?
- 44:27Speaker 3: Heads?
- 44:28Speaker 1: Here?
- 44:30Speaker 5: He goes, almost all right, so haughty j failed Mogie's
- 44:36Speaker 5: giving it a crack.
- 44:37Speaker 1: Straight up.
- 44:38Speaker 5: You're giving yourself and advantage the way you've gone down
- 44:40Speaker 5: on the grounds. Straight up? Do you want me to
- 44:42Speaker 5: ever go's doing it again? Yes, okay, straight up.
- 44:47Speaker 1: I love the twist too. Here we go, Here we go.
- 44:52Speaker 1: This is quality radio. I tell you what.
- 44:57Speaker 4: You're like a horse getting you know, horse folds its legs.
- 45:02Speaker 5: So I could do it. Moggie could do it, Hoidy j.
- 45:04Speaker 5: Very fun. If you want to see a video of
- 45:06Speaker 5: that big show Instagram. The next thing is you pass
- 45:12Speaker 5: gas regularly.
- 45:14Speaker 1: As my wife? Yes, you do make constantly? Yes?
- 45:21Speaker 3: Same here I wouldn't say regularly.
- 45:24Speaker 5: Okay, so you can't get up off of the floor,
- 45:26Speaker 5: and you as.
- 45:26Speaker 1: One of those guys where they just fall out and
- 45:28Speaker 1: he doesn't even know it's happening.
- 45:29Speaker 4: Funnily enough, Maggie, that happened the other night on the couch.
- 45:32Speaker 4: I went and sat down on the couch and ripped
- 45:33Speaker 4: one out, which was completely unintentional.
- 45:36Speaker 3: My wife was like, what the hell was that? But
- 45:39Speaker 3: other than that, I have a bit windy in the morning.
- 45:42Speaker 5: Otherwise, no, such a great story. Are you sweat early
- 45:45Speaker 5: when you exercise?
- 45:47Speaker 1: Well I wouldn't. That's not aging, that's that's generally a
- 45:51Speaker 1: sign of fitness. So early on in your fitness junior,
- 45:54Speaker 1: you won't sweat, But as you get better and more fit,
- 45:56Speaker 1: you will sweat easier.
- 45:58Speaker 3: In my experience, Oh that makes sense because I don't
- 46:00Speaker 3: sweat at all.
- 46:02Speaker 5: You have a firm grip. Yes, that's just you clenching
- 46:06Speaker 5: your fist.
- 46:07Speaker 3: You one of what am I supposed to grab something?
- 46:11Speaker 3: For you to not gripping your finger keysy? Grip my
- 46:13Speaker 3: finger it and fill?
- 46:15Speaker 5: I won't.
- 46:16Speaker 3: No, I'm not gripping your finger keysy?
- 46:19Speaker 2: Come on?
- 46:20Speaker 4: Ah?
- 46:21Speaker 5: Okay, Well what else is there?
- 46:23Speaker 3: That was it?
- 46:23Speaker 1: Yeah? Right? Interesting?
- 46:25Speaker 5: Just grip my finger guy.
- 46:26Speaker 3: I failed most of those.
- 46:27Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not good for you man. For a thirty
- 46:29Speaker 1: nine year old. You're in shocking.
- 46:32Speaker 5: Third eye blind Yes, yeah, the.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Whole aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 46:38Speaker 2: in week days at four on Radio hod I.
- 46:40Speaker 3: Kill Jam there on the radio.
- 46:42Speaker 4: Holdarkey Big show this ThisDay night, and boy oh boy,
- 46:47Speaker 4: do we have some exciting news for you New Zealand.
- 46:51Speaker 5: Certainly do jays. It's funny that Pearl Jam played because
- 46:54Speaker 5: they've actually taken out the top spot before we're talking
- 46:56Speaker 5: the goat.
- 46:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:58Speaker 5: Man, it returns for twenty twenty the search for the
- 47:00Speaker 5: Greatest Song of All Time. It is a fantastic countdown
- 47:03Speaker 5: we do here at Hoduki every single year, and it
- 47:05Speaker 5: is a countdown for real music connoisseurs. Voting starts Monday,
- 47:09Speaker 5: the most important of the entire thing.
- 47:12Speaker 4: Can I ask, where does the countdown countdown start?
- 47:15Speaker 3: Easy?
- 47:16Speaker 4: Five hundred, one thousand, oh, one thousand, okay?
- 47:19Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 47:19Speaker 3: Has it always been a thousand?
- 47:21Speaker 5: No, It was five hundred to begin with, the last
- 47:22Speaker 5: year it was one thousand.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Okay yeah.
- 47:25Speaker 4: And the beautiful thing about it, too, Foulers, is we
- 47:27Speaker 4: get so much more variety in our music. We don't
- 47:29Speaker 4: wet because there's a thousand tunes to get through.
- 47:32Speaker 5: That's right. There's a great balance to be struck like
- 47:34Speaker 5: maybe like one fifteen hundred is probably too much. One
- 47:37Speaker 5: thousand you because that that you know that nine hundred
- 47:40Speaker 5: to one thousand mark. You hear songs that you haven't
- 47:42Speaker 5: heard in ages but are still quite good. Yes, beyond
- 47:45Speaker 5: that they get a bit iffy.
- 47:47Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 47:48Speaker 5: So that's my favorite part is that the first few
- 47:50Speaker 5: days of the Goat countdown where you're hearing the real
- 47:53Speaker 5: random stuff you haven't heard in years.
- 47:54Speaker 1: It's good, isn't it. Yeah, I'm looking forward to that,
- 47:56Speaker 1: And of course we'll have to choose our goats as well.
- 47:59Speaker 1: We get to opportunity to vote on the goat. It's
- 48:03Speaker 1: an interesting one, isn't it, Because you call it the
- 48:05Speaker 1: greatest of all time? And then every year you've got
- 48:07Speaker 1: to say what your grands of all time tunes are.
- 48:09Speaker 1: But for me, my favorites do change every year. It's
- 48:12Speaker 1: do change all the time because then I'm like, last year,
- 48:15Speaker 1: I love that, but I've thrashed that now, or I'm
- 48:18Speaker 1: thrashing an album so because of that album that goes
- 48:21Speaker 1: to the top of the list, but now I'm onto
- 48:22Speaker 1: a new album. You see. So it's a constant, it's
- 48:24Speaker 1: always evolving.
- 48:25Speaker 3: I always get upset because generally.
- 48:28Speaker 4: Like last year, for example, my goat didn't even get
- 48:31Speaker 4: in the top five thousand, you know what I mean. Ah,
- 48:35Speaker 4: you guys wouldn't You wouldn't know about it, you know,
- 48:37Speaker 4: because it's kind of a bit out.
- 48:39Speaker 3: There, so right, but I do love it. I do
- 48:44Speaker 3: love the Goat.
- 48:44Speaker 5: I'm actually thinking this year fellas of running a campaign
- 48:47Speaker 5: to get Engelbert into the Goat, you know what I mean.
- 48:49Speaker 5: Because if I say to the audience like, hey, let's
- 48:52Speaker 5: all vote, oh yeah, a particular song, you know, here's
- 48:56Speaker 5: enough votes, it will have to be in the counter.
- 48:57Speaker 1: Well, this is the sort of thing that happens over
- 48:59Speaker 1: in the UK. They do that because they've got a
- 49:01Speaker 1: it's a really big deal over there, which is the
- 49:04Speaker 1: Christmas single, the Christmas number one, and so they had
- 49:06Speaker 1: a huge campaign driven by Backbones. It must have been
- 49:12Speaker 1: twenty years on, twenty five years on, after the release
- 49:14Speaker 1: of Killing the Name of Oh Really, that went back
- 49:17Speaker 1: to number one and they performed it on the BBC
- 49:19Speaker 1: and the BBC he said, look, you just can't do that.
- 49:20Speaker 1: But at the end, where you do you know, the
- 49:22Speaker 1: if you and and of course Regie gets the machine,
- 49:25Speaker 1: Bean Raga gets a machine they did it.
- 49:28Speaker 4: I watched a video yesterday killing in the Name of
- 49:32Speaker 4: and it was on Jimmy Fallon. Oh yes, and they
- 49:36Speaker 4: and the band was playing that song with kids instruments.
- 49:40Speaker 1: Oh well, oh yes, I've seen that. They came out
- 49:42Speaker 1: a good fifteen or so years ago. Yeah, very good, Yeah,
- 49:46Speaker 1: bloody good. Yeah. Yeah.
- 49:49Speaker 5: The Roots is the band.
- 49:50Speaker 1: Yeah, the Roots is a band. But this is literally
- 49:52Speaker 1: then sitting around a table and playing is that right?
- 49:56Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 49:56Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, playing with kids instruments.
- 49:58Speaker 5: Good stuff. A reminder of they're voting for the Goat
- 50:00Speaker 5: starts Monday. On Monday, we'll tell you what. You'll be
- 50:04Speaker 5: texting Goat to three four eight three, you'll be head

- 50:12Speaker 5: of a countdown here, okay.

- 50:21Speaker 2: in and four on Radio Holucky.

- 50:33Speaker 4: show done in Dustin for your Thusday night. Make sure
- 50:36Speaker 4: you tune into tomorrow show. I've got a feeling it's
- 50:39Speaker 4: going to be an absolute doozy and of course the
- 50:40Speaker 4: Friday Traber.
- 50:41Speaker 5: And we settle on a name we like it, The
- 50:44Speaker 5: Racing Pigeon.
- 50:45Speaker 3: Yes, good stuff. Hey are you now with the podcast
- 50:48Speaker 3: art show?
- 50:49Speaker 4: When we started doing it today, I thought, okay, we
- 50:51Speaker 4: just got well, let's just chuck a disclaimer on it
- 50:53Speaker 4: from the top, because I've had a feeling that Mogi
- 50:57Speaker 4: was going full filth.
- 50:59Speaker 3: But to his it, he pulled it back.
- 51:01Speaker 5: He pulled it right back, and instead it turned into
- 51:05Speaker 5: a discussion about him giving up drinking again. Here's a
- 51:08Speaker 5: week clip that comes out at seventh thirty tonight.
- 51:12Speaker 1: My phone flew out of my pocket. I had no idea.
- 51:14Speaker 1: He picked it up and took it and so.
- 51:19Speaker 3: Good.
- 51:25Speaker 1: It was good stuff.
- 51:27Speaker 3: All right, Maggie. Yeah, we'll get in your car, get

- 51:36Speaker 1: Going to keep on watching my Friday Night Lights. Absolutely
- 51:39Speaker 1: loving that at the moment. Very good, very very very good.
- 51:42Speaker 4: I always get jealous of people watching a series that
- 51:45Speaker 4: I know is awesome, you know, And it's like when
- 51:47Speaker 4: he when Old Pucks unwatched Bloodlines.
- 51:50Speaker 3: I was like, oh God, I love that show.
- 51:51Speaker 1: Well, funnily enough, last night was lying in bed watching it.
- 51:54Speaker 1: My wife's never seen it before. I was telling my
- 51:56Speaker 1: wife how we used to watch it back in the day,
- 51:58Speaker 1: and that moment I made him from twenty years before
- 52:01Speaker 1: rang my wife. She called up, was talking about something else,
- 52:04Speaker 1: so I said, tell them what we're doing. She said,
- 52:06Speaker 1: I we're watching Friday Night Lights. She said that she
- 52:09Speaker 1: just finished rewatching it again and was just like, oh
- 52:12Speaker 1: my god, Tim Riggins, so exactly the same thing. A
- 52:16Speaker 1: great show from back in the day that's held up
- 52:18Speaker 1: over twenty years later. I'll tell you what key your
- 52:22Speaker 1: missus would love it.
- 52:23Speaker 4: She would, actually, I think she would like it. Kesey,
- 52:26Speaker 4: you're home to a foul dinner.
- 52:28Speaker 5: We're not excited for it at all. It's probably gonna
- 52:31Speaker 5: be shit, that's okay, And then we're gonna watch outrageous
- 52:34Speaker 5: fortune shows from.
