  Speaker 1: know I can be enjoying at eighty years old so

  Speaker 1: that I don't have that midlife crisis. Oh okay, that

  Speaker 1: makes sense. Yeah, so I've I've lived a lot in

  Speaker 1: my life prepping to be eighty and knowing that if

  Speaker 1: I contend the enjoy my glass, my you know, two

  Speaker 1: fingers of whiskey at night is two fingers a shot

  Speaker 1: or two shots? It should be a shot if you

  Speaker 1: have a normal glass and you one. Allunce is about

  Speaker 1: the depth of your fingers. You get too, which about

  Speaker 1: you sip on that? Um, I can enjoy my golf

  Speaker 1: games on Saturdays with my buddies. I can watch college

  Speaker 1: football and NFL football, and I can go to bed

  Speaker 1: at eight thirty. Uh, and life is good, like life

  Speaker 1: will be good forever. Not a lot has to change

  Speaker 1: in my life. So uh No, paradise would not be

  Speaker 1: for me. I would not do well. There is a

  Speaker 1: question obviously. You and Jared spoke about your time on

  Speaker 1: the show. Um, you had free reign then to do

  Speaker 1: what you want when you want it, Like you don't

  Speaker 1: have to You didn't have to wake up at a

  Speaker 1: certain time or go to bed. You massa, Yeah, yeah,

  Speaker 1: we could wake up whenever and then casually get coffee.

  Speaker 1: was like, Hey, I'm just grab him coffee and going

  Speaker 1: back to my so low room with air conditioning in

  Speaker 1: the private bathroom. See you later. Nobody needs to give

  Speaker 1: you any heat for going to paradise. Because if you

  Speaker 1: can have a couple's trip and get away and have
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: air conditioning on a beach, I support it. Many people do. Okay, Actually,

  Speaker 1: let's run through uh, this episode that you were a
• 3:30
  Speaker 1: part of, you the behind the scenes. Look, let's start

  Speaker 1: with the beginning of the episode as always and walk

  Speaker 1: we shall relationship human being we should talk about versus Sally. Uh.

  Speaker 1: Sally came in the middle of the night again while

  Speaker 1: Jared and I were sleeping, and we we we were

  Speaker 1: already been sure she's gonna show up. We have a

  Speaker 1: little inside knowledge, you know, like so we hear from

  Speaker 1: last last week that Wells tells everybody that story. You

  Speaker 1: know that she kind of like left a producer hanging

  Speaker 1: miss a flight. You know, was there at the gate,
• 4:09
  Speaker 1: didn't get on the plane, had multiple flights booked, didn't
• 4:12
  Speaker 1: get there for any of the flights. UM had a
• 4:14
  Speaker 1: producer way in the car the trunk of a car
• 4:19
  Speaker 1: and STUV. I don't know the people who, like some
• 4:23
  Speaker 1: people say that this is legit, like it was really
• 4:25
  Speaker 1: at the trunk of an suv for like four to
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: five hours. That's not good no, and the heat of
• 4:32
  Speaker 1: like Tennessee in the middle of the summer, there's no way,
• 4:34
  Speaker 1: Like I just I'm so confused by this. But she
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: was having this long conversation with her ex there blah
• 4:41
  Speaker 1: blah blah. You know this. Everybody knows this, but like
• 4:45
  Speaker 1: so Jared and I heard this summer producer not from Wales,
• 4:50
  Speaker 1: and the producer was like, I think she's coming tonight,
• 4:55
  Speaker 1: but I'm not sure. We can't be sure about anything
• 4:58
  Speaker 1: with Sally Lo And behold, I did come down the
• 5:00
  Speaker 1: stairs that night after when I am and was like
• 5:03
  Speaker 1: up in a way out of paradise. By three I am.
• 5:07
  Speaker 1: She just got down there and felt super uncomfortable because
• 5:11
  Speaker 1: the girls were questioning why she was there, um her
• 5:15
  Speaker 1: status at home back with her ex fiance, like why
• 5:18
  Speaker 1: is she getting his approval to go on the show?
• 5:21
  Speaker 1: I do think that getting approval from a guy that
• 5:23
  Speaker 1: is supposed to be your ex is kind of what
• 5:25
  Speaker 1: do you think about that? No, I think it's I mean,
• 5:27
  Speaker 1: I don't know approval is the right word. You don't
• 5:29
  Speaker 1: need to get their approval, but I did like a warning.
• 5:33
  Speaker 1: I just warned some of the people that I've dated
• 5:35
  Speaker 1: and that we're serious in the past, like, hey, I'm
• 5:36
  Speaker 1: going on this show. Yeah, but she wanted approval. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: that's different. And I think there is. Actually I think
• 5:42
  Speaker 1: there's multiple sides of this story. I don't think we're
• 5:45
  Speaker 1: ever going to know it at all, or the true story.
• 5:47
  Speaker 1: I know that a lot of people think that, like
• 5:49
  Speaker 1: the producers hate her and like the cast hates her.
• 5:52
  Speaker 1: But she legitimately seems like a mess. She seems like
• 5:58
  Speaker 1: somebody who had no respect for anyone, the way that
• 6:01
  Speaker 1: she just would not get on planes, would not show
• 6:04
  Speaker 1: up when she was told. Like but but my question
• 6:08
  Speaker 1: is why did they fight for so bad? Like why
• 6:10
  Speaker 1: did they want her there so bad? Was it because
• 6:13
  Speaker 1: she and Justin had a former a fling or a
• 6:15
  Speaker 1: kiss at stage Coach and I knew that stage coach.
• 6:18
  Speaker 1: They wanted to bring kisses at stage Coach back as
• 6:21
  Speaker 1: a storyline, or maybe they wanted, uh, just just the
• 6:26
  Speaker 1: fact that she seems like a flighty character. I would
• 6:31
  Speaker 1: say she she won this season. She was never there
• 6:34
  Speaker 1: and still made more airtime than most of the contestants
• 6:36
  Speaker 1: so far, So she's winning. I think she's brilliant, all right, Well,
• 6:41
  Speaker 1: obviously there's really nothing much to talk about. She didn't
• 6:44
  Speaker 1: solidify any sort of connection. She felt a little bit bullied,
• 6:48
  Speaker 1: but I wouldn't call it bullying. I'd say the girls
• 6:50
  Speaker 1: were truly questioning, like why why are you here if
• 6:54
  Speaker 1: you seem to so badly? Not? Why? Why why be here?
• 6:59
  Speaker 1: If it seems they had to pull teeth in order
• 7:01
  Speaker 1: to get you here? Also approval from her ex. She's
• 7:04
  Speaker 1: saying that she works for her ex, and that's gotta
• 7:06
  Speaker 1: be bs for her. She works with her ex. I

  Speaker 1: think her ex as a doctor. She's like a nurse.

  Speaker 1: She's a nurse. Okay, so okay, okay, so she could

  Speaker 1: here's my position. If I showed up to a beach,

  Speaker 1: then I'm already nervous to show up to that. I'm

  Speaker 1: a tad hesitant to even go to and everybody teams

  Speaker 1: up on me. I bet I'm bouncing. Also like I'm

  Speaker 1: not sticking around for that. Yeah, I know that I

  Speaker 1: don't need to be here. She go in the first place, Well,

  Speaker 1: that's that's a good question. I have no clue if

  Speaker 1: it was so difficult for her was there she had
• 7:46
  Speaker 1: to come back and She's like, I don't know what

  Speaker 1: else to do, but like, my bag is in one place.

  Speaker 1: They're not going to give me my stuff back unless

  Speaker 1: I go show up to this beach. So I guess

  Speaker 1: I'll find a Mexico for it. Yeah, So on from Sally,

  Speaker 1: then obviously there is you don't have to talk about us.

  Speaker 1: You know, I'm talking about us. I'm not going to

  Speaker 1: talk about because there's nothing consequential that we didn't have

  Speaker 1: to talk about. I mean, other than the fact that
• 8:11
  Speaker 1: I enjoy seeing you guys on the beach. I mean that,
• 8:14
  Speaker 1: But I wasn't even going to say that. Technically the
• 8:18
  Speaker 1: next pieces believe we really definitely don't have to recap
• 8:22
  Speaker 1: our boom boom room. Holy crap. I cannot believe that.

  Speaker 1: I actually I can believe that they made it just
• 8:30
  Speaker 1: like this storyline. It's like, oh my god, it's gonna happen.

  Speaker 1: Is it not gonna happen in boom boom broom? Did

  Speaker 1: it happen? Yeah? But I was like, definitely made it

  Speaker 1: seem like it was like a wedding suite, like I
• 8:40
  Speaker 1: wanted it, like I wanted like you don't like, was

  Speaker 1: it like special? Not particularly, but it's definitely, like you know,

  Speaker 1: your wedding night, You're like, I tired? Do I really
• 8:54
  Speaker 1: feel like it? But do I do? We wanted to
• 8:57
  Speaker 1: do it for a tradition and like to say that
• 8:59
  Speaker 1: we did it ears down the road for sure, you

  Speaker 1: have to say that we did it. Um, but yeah

  Speaker 1: on a camera we covered the camera. It doesn't work. No, Well,

  Speaker 1: I don't know how people don't cover the camera up?

  Speaker 1: How how do they do that? How do they like
• 9:17
  Speaker 1: have sex and boom mem rooms and not cover the camera?
• 9:20
  Speaker 1: Actually that's a that's a question. I don't know if

  Speaker 1: I feel comfortable answering. Right. So Peter shows up? Is

  Speaker 1: that where you're gonna go? I was gonna show up

  Speaker 1: with this because he might be the most shocking guest
• 9:40
  Speaker 1: to walk to the beach this season for me, I
• 9:42
  Speaker 1: don't understand how he makes the cut for Paradise and

  Speaker 1: others don't and he does. Especially with his time on
• 9:54
  Speaker 1: The Bachelorette. He wasn't an extremely likable figure and there
• 10:01
  Speaker 1: wasn't I mean, some people have like a villain edit. Uh.
• 10:04
  Speaker 1: I don't know if I could consider his edit a
• 10:06
  Speaker 1: villain edit. It was just mostly a hey, like, he's
• 10:09
  Speaker 1: just not somebody we're gonna put a lot of weight behind.
• 10:12
  Speaker 1: But yet they use him in Paradise and they make
• 10:14
  Speaker 1: it a storyline this episode, and that's surprising to me. Oh,
• 10:17
  Speaker 1: that's surprising to you. He's such like he's such a foolish,
• 10:20
  Speaker 1: foolish character. It's like, of course they're going to use
• 10:22
  Speaker 1: him at the storyline. But it makes me feel bad, like, well,
• 10:26
  Speaker 1: we have characters like this where they don't do anything
• 10:28
  Speaker 1: malicious or villainous, and we're just like, oh, this guy's embarrassing.
• 10:33
  Speaker 1: Why is he embarrassing? He just has like an embarrassing
• 10:35
  Speaker 1: like type of personality. Like that makes me feel bad
• 10:38
  Speaker 1: to say, but it's it's the truth. Well, he's a
• 10:41
  Speaker 1: pizza guy, so a little bit of the Yeah, he's
• 10:44
  Speaker 1: the pizza guys to talk about pizza incessantly, incessantly. I
• 10:49
  Speaker 1: I would say, the reason I was making the claim
• 10:52
  Speaker 1: that I was earlier is it's interesting me for them
• 10:54
  Speaker 1: to use him, because yes, his personality might be the
• 10:56
  Speaker 1: one that's goofy and funny, but you have so many
• 10:58
  Speaker 1: other great characters in the each right now we're getting
• 11:01
  Speaker 1: and we're not getting enough of them, and so I
• 11:05
  Speaker 1: would say, actually, this has been a theme through the
• 11:07
  Speaker 1: Bachelorette and Bachelor is where we're begging to get some
• 11:10
  Speaker 1: character development and some depth with each of these characters.
• 11:13
  Speaker 1: Yet we don't get them because they are filling the space,
• 11:17
  Speaker 1: which is unfair to the audience. We have six episodes, right,
• 11:22
  Speaker 1: it's a lot of episodes for six more episodes, it's
• 11:24
  Speaker 1: a lot of I think that they added on six.
• 11:27
  Speaker 1: I think this season they added on six to the
• 11:29
  Speaker 1: normal and so some of this, some of the opportunity
• 11:34
  Speaker 1: there is for us to get to know the people
• 11:37
  Speaker 1: that are investing deeply into relationships, the stories that are
• 11:40
  Speaker 1: being told, the people that are still searching. Yet we
• 11:42
  Speaker 1: bring a Peter to the beach and it's like, Okay,
• 11:46
  Speaker 1: not that I don't like the guy. I don't know
• 11:47
  Speaker 1: the fellow, but I'm just not interested because of his
• 11:50
  Speaker 1: time on The Bachelor and watching him. See when I
• 11:54
  Speaker 1: was there, I was like, as somebody who doesn't have
• 11:56
  Speaker 1: to participate in any of this, I live for this
• 11:59
  Speaker 1: about it because they bring you if you were there,
• 12:02
  Speaker 1: it was so funny. This is what I feel bad
• 12:05
  Speaker 1: for the audience that they miss out on. They had
• 12:09
  Speaker 1: this bit going on that they were going to bring
• 12:12
  Speaker 1: out a pizza every like fifteen minutes. So while we
• 12:16
  Speaker 1: were there and like he was deciding who he was
• 12:19
  Speaker 1: going to bring on a date, they brought down like
• 12:20
  Speaker 1: three pizzas and it was like pizza time, pizza time,
• 12:24
  Speaker 1: and they just don't show it. And then every time
• 12:28
  Speaker 1: they brought down pizza with pineapple, and he thinks that's
• 12:30
  Speaker 1: like disrespectful to pizza, until every time they brought it down, um,
• 12:34
  Speaker 1: and it was just too funny. So I want to
• 12:37
  Speaker 1: know the chef behind the scenes who gets the He
• 12:40
  Speaker 1: wakes up in the morning, he goes to work, they're like,
• 12:42
  Speaker 1: all right, today, we need you to make thirty pizzas,
• 12:45
  Speaker 1: but they need to be at fifteen minutes, like increments,
• 12:47
  Speaker 1: and he's like, oh my gosh, just the show needs
• 12:50
  Speaker 1: to leave Mexico right now. I'm pretty sure when they're
• 12:52
  Speaker 1: on the date, they were serving them pizza too and
• 12:55
  Speaker 1: just bombarding them with it, and they didn't show it
• 12:58
  Speaker 1: or they didn't actually through with that plan, but I
• 13:01
  Speaker 1: think that was the initial pant and I almost pee
• 13:03
  Speaker 1: my pants imagining that happened. We all remember that my
• 13:07
  Speaker 1: girl britt name, Um, we all know that she's just
• 13:09
  Speaker 1: not gonna like this guy. She's shockingly optimistic and semi interested,
• 13:17
  Speaker 1: or so it seems on the show. My memory serves
• 13:21
  Speaker 1: me that it was not necessarily like that. It was
• 13:23
  Speaker 1: more like, I'll give him a shot, I'll get out
• 13:26
  Speaker 1: of this place for a day, and she seems genuinely
• 13:29
  Speaker 1: interested in him, which may just have been a little
• 13:32
  Speaker 1: bit of positivity for the camera. I mean, Brittany Britty
• 13:35
  Speaker 1: to me is still one of the most shocking stories
• 13:37
  Speaker 1: of attention. Has been surprising to me, from her time
• 13:42
  Speaker 1: on The Bachelor to the time on Paradise. I'm sitting
• 13:44
  Speaker 1: here going, what are you guys doing? Gorgeous and amazing
• 13:47
  Speaker 1: and smart and like everything just full packaged. It doesn't
• 13:49
  Speaker 1: make any it never has. I don't know if I
• 13:51
  Speaker 1: ever will. And now these guys, I mean, I'm assuming
• 13:55
  Speaker 1: she goes on a day with Peter and these guys
• 13:57
  Speaker 1: are looking around like, what have we been doing? I

  Speaker 1: hope that is what was crossing some of these guys minds.

  Speaker 1: There's one thing that you guys aren't seeing, and that

  Speaker 1: is Casey really was quite interested and they're not really
• 14:09
  Speaker 1: showing that a lot. But Casey was trying, and Brittany
• 14:13
  Speaker 1: at this time was quite interested in Andrew, but that
• 14:18
  Speaker 1: he wasn't really making moves okay, but she basically doesn't.
• 14:22
  Speaker 1: She comes back from this awful day and she's like,
• 14:25
  Speaker 1: he talks about himself the entire time. He even was
• 14:28
  Speaker 1: trying to get me to compliment his eyes, saying, aren't
• 14:32
  Speaker 1: my eyes beautiful? I get so many compliments on my eyes.
• 14:37
  Speaker 1: That's I mean, that's a strategy. And then he goes like, hey,
• 14:40
  Speaker 1: actually on my arms really big they are. I do
• 14:45
  Speaker 1: have this thing at night with Jessica that I flex
• 14:48
  Speaker 1: and she every night goes strong boy, and I think
• 14:52
  Speaker 1: that's so cute. Yeah, not that it's true, but it's
• 14:57
  Speaker 1: so cute. I love that. That's different when it's with
• 14:59
  Speaker 1: your wife. And he's like, did you know that I
• 15:01
  Speaker 1: won best eyes in high school? And like all this
• 15:03
  Speaker 1: crazy stuff, and he's not gorgeous gorgeous her. So she
• 15:07
  Speaker 1: comes back, she's grossed out. She's so grossed out. She's
• 15:10
  Speaker 1: like almost feels like violated from this date. It was
• 15:13
  Speaker 1: so bad, like I felt bad, Like she was like,
• 15:15
  Speaker 1: I need to take like an emotional shower. I feel
• 15:18
  Speaker 1: like I need to pick a real shower, an emotional shower.
• 15:20
  Speaker 1: Poor girl. But then she was like I Am going
• 15:23
  Speaker 1: to just put it out there with Andrew tonight because
• 15:27
  Speaker 1: I need I need somebody to basically be my night
• 15:31
  Speaker 1: and sun shining armor. And we see that they do
• 15:33
  Speaker 1: have a nice little moment and they kiss, and truly,

  Speaker 1: I have no idea where this really leads because Jared

  Speaker 1: and I, thankfully, according to most of Bachelor Nation, we'll
• 15:44
  Speaker 1: be leaving on Monday's episode before the rose before for
• 15:47
  Speaker 1: the cocktail party. How time. Yeah, so we leave before

  Speaker 1: the cocktail party. So I have no idea what goes

  Speaker 1: on between the two of them. It's very romantic kiss.

  Speaker 1: It's very sweet, very very I mean, I remember she

  Speaker 1: she drops her wine last down to kiss somebody. That's

  Speaker 1: would make when you don't own the wineglass. Um that

  Speaker 1: you drop. Uh. It is very sweet and I feel

  Speaker 1: like this could go somewhere. I see them together. They

  Speaker 1: both have a very joyful um connection, and I'm hoping
• 16:18
  Speaker 1: actually we do see more of them. This is a
• 16:20
  Speaker 1: relationship I want to see blossom, but I want to
• 16:22
  Speaker 1: watch it blossom. I want to be familiar with it
• 16:24
  Speaker 1: so that I can either celebrate it or cry over

  Speaker 1: it as the season ends. Yeah, I know, it's just
