- 0:00You're going to have a ton of money to spend.
- 0:01Why not put it in one of the top three offensive players in the
- 0:13league? We're going to be looking at
- 0:14Aaron George and saying that he can't win the big game, Michael
- 0:17Jordan said. I played 82 games.
- 0:20You don't see LeBron doing that. A game where you got to go
- 0:23before I told you giant feet. Saquon Barkley, at this point,
- 0:28say 631-672-3108 is the number to
- 1:39call. You're listening to Jabba and
- 1:44the mouth. My name is Errol Marx.
- 1:46My Co hosts are Mr. Flamethrower himself in a new year.
- 1:52He's hanging, he's dangling, hopefully not dangling in
- 1:56different areas. Ladies and gentlemen, Java
- 1:59Chamberlain and the one they call Speedy.
- 2:03Hopefully he's not hiding in his pants or hiding somewhere else
- 2:08under the damn table. His legs are together and
- 2:11hopefully not squeezing. You know what, Mr. Speedy PD,
- 2:16you heard? I'm executive producer Mr. Aaron

- 2:47gentlemen, it was a bloody Black Monday in the NFL today as 4
- 2:54head coaches were fired. Interesting one in the Browns.
- 2:58But the Browns, the Raiders, the Falcons, the Cardinals join the
- 3:01Titans and the Giants as teams that have head coaching openings
- 3:06this offseason. The Browns fired Kevin Stefanski
- 3:09after 6 six seasons with the team but have kept general
- 3:13manager Andrew Berry. Stefanski won Coach of the Year
- 3:17twice with the Browns in 2020 and 2023.
- 3:22The Raiders moved on from Pete Carroll after only one season.
- 3:26Reports say that the minority ownership and Fox Sports
- 3:30broadcaster Tom Brady will have a lot of say in the Raiders next
- 3:35head coaching choice. Bill Belichick, who knows the
- 3:38Cardinals fired head coach Jonathan Gannon, who thought he
- 3:43was safe earlier this week after the Cardinals disaster of a
- 3:48season and a three and 14 record, Arizona will keep GM
- 3:53Monty Oxford to pick their next coach.
- 3:58The Falcons, after missing the playoffs for the eighth straight
- 4:02year, fired both head coach Raheem Morris and general
- 4:05manager Terry Fotnu after going 8-9.
- 4:09Despite losing records, the Bengals, the Bucks and the
- 4:12Dolphins are expected to keep to keep to keep to keep their
- 4:17coaches Zach Taylor, Todd Bowles and Mike McDaniel who were all
- 4:22on the hot seat this season. And to recap the regular season
- 4:28league leaders Matthew Stafford led the league in passing yards,
- 4:324707 yards. GSN LED the LED in receiving
- 4:37yards 1793 yards. James Cook led the rushing yards
- 4:421621. Miles Garrett set a new single
- 4:46season record with 23 sacks. I'm not surprised on any of
- 4:51these coaches except Kevin Stefanski.
- 4:55Kevin Stefanski is a coach that is very well respect, very well
- 5:00respected around the league. The Browns have not been a very
- 5:04good offensive team. They've had backup quarterbacks
- 5:07fill in for starting quarterbacks.
- 5:08Deshaun Watson has really not done what he was expected to do
- 5:12under Stefanski because he can't stay in the lineup because of
- 5:15injuries and some of the back back end stories.
- 5:19You know the rub and tug and all that other stuff with Deshaun
- 5:23Watson. But I, I, I don't know if Shidor
- 5:26Sanders was the reason why they had to fire Kevin Stefanski.
- 5:30I don't believe Kevin Stefanski wanted Shidor Sanders.
- 5:34As a matter of fact, I could believe that Stefanski never
- 5:37wanted to start Shidor Sanders until he was forced by
- 5:41ownership. Now Shidor Sanders, his jersey
- 5:44is one of the highest sold jerseys in the NFLI.
- 5:47Think it was 4th or 5th in all of the NFL.
- 5:51But here's the facts guys, and I think you need to understand
- 5:53this. They have never drafted right at
- 5:56the quarterback position. Does anybody remember Tim Couch?
- 6:00Tim Couch was a great college quarterback and he was a fairly
- 6:03decent NFL quarterback. He wasn't good and we could go
- 6:07down the list of quarterbacks over the years that they drafted
- 6:10Baker Mayfield. They got it right with Baker.
- 6:13They let him go after two or three seasons.
- 6:16They let Baker go after the one season that he had where he was
- 6:21one game away from going to an AFC title game against Kansas
- 6:24City on a trick play by Andy Reid.
- 6:28There was no surprise with any of Jonathan Gannon should be
- 6:31gone. He should have been gone last
- 6:33year. Raheem Morris.
- 6:35Raheem Morris should have never been hired.
- 6:38It should have been Bill Belichick.
- 6:39Well, we could think. Well, I I think the Atlanta
- 6:42Falcons in the organization should think Robert Kraft on
- 6:45that move. I mean, Bill Belichick would be
- 6:49the coach right now for the Atlanta Falcons.
- 6:50Maybe the Atlanta Falcons would be in the playoffs today.
- 6:55I was surprised that Todd Bowles still has his job.
- 6:59Todd Bowles has not been good. His team has went from one of
- 7:04the better teams in the NFC and one of the best one of the worst
- 7:08divisions in all the football and fell out of the playoffs
- 7:12with I know they didn't have Mike Evans and Godwin.
- 7:15It can't stay healthy, but Ibuka has been one of the best rookies
- 7:19in the league. I I know they lost their running
- 7:21back, but injuries happen. Your defense, what you're known
- 7:25for your defense. You're you're known for your
- 7:27blitz packages. Why did your defense play up the
- 7:30par this year? Why was your defense one of the
- 7:33worst defenses in the NFL this year?
- 7:36That has something to do with coaching and I know both his
- 7:40offensive coordinators and Cohen went to the Jaguars and Canalis
- 7:43went to the Carolina Panthers who both both teams are going to
- 7:47the playoffs. Both teams looked very, very
- 7:49good in certain aspects of their game this season and you could
- 7:53see what type of coaches they were for Baker Mayfield.
- 7:56There is no excuse for the lack of play and and really
- 8:01regression of Baker Mayfield in the second-half of the season.
- 8:07Baker Mayfield was not good in the second-half of the season.
- 8:10As a matter of fact, there he made a lot of mistakes that you
- 8:13wonder if bet why we were you talking about Baker Mayfield
- 8:17being an MVP candidate at any point of the season.
- 8:21In the first five games, Baker Mayfield was one of the
- 8:23favorites, so is Dak Prescott. Remember that we were all
- 8:26bragging how how good Baker Mayfield look looked.
- 8:30And then in the second-half, I mean, injuries do happen, but
- 8:34that that doesn't make any excuses.
- 8:36I can name a bunch of quarterbacks that dealt with
- 8:38injuries all season long, but found a way to put up numbers,
- 8:42found a way to win. So there's no excuse.
- 8:46So when you look at the list, Pete Carroll's old.
- 8:49He's an old man. He should have never got this
- 8:52job. But nobody wanted the Raiders.
- 8:55Nobody wanted the Raiders. Now we'll see.
- 8:59They have the number one pick and I think that was the reason
- 9:02why they they decided to tell some of their players to sit
- 9:06out. Brock Bauer sat out.
- 9:11Crosby sat out. I think the main reason why was
- 9:15this was going to be they wanted to make this an attractive
- 9:18destination. And if you have the number one
- 9:20pick and you're the coach and you get to pick who you want
- 9:23your quarterback to be, well, that could probably draw a coach
- 9:27to want to coach there with the Raiders, maybe.
- 9:32But I'm not surprised. And by the way, Raheem Morris
- 9:35has a ton of weapons. London Robertson, We've seen
- 9:41Kyle Pitts this year. What you could do with Kyle
- 9:44Pitts when he's in the open field, The size, the ability,
- 9:47the speed that this man has. Romney Raheem Morris couldn't.
- 9:53He found a way to use Kyle Pitts, but that's about all he
- 9:56could do this season. Their defense they made, they
- 10:00traded up. Remember in last year's draft,
- 10:03they gave up what the next two years first round draft picks
- 10:06for to move up in the first round to draft these two guys
- 10:10and they were up and down all season long and that's it.
- 10:14To me. Atlanta was reaching all season
- 10:17long in a very bad division. Carolina.
- 10:20This is the first time and what since I, I, I guess I, I think
- 10:24it was the Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay Buccaneers that an 8 and nine
- 10:28team wins a division. Think about that.
- 10:33They were two, no, I'm sorry, 38 and 9 teams.
- 10:37The Atlanta Falcons were 8:00 and 9:00, the Tampa Bay
- 10:40Buccaneers were 8-9 and the Carolina Panthers were 8-9.
- 10:43And the only reason why the Carolina Panthers made it in is
- 10:46because, I guess because of how many times they beat both teams.
- 10:51Carolina is not a good team, but I wouldn't be shocked if Canalis
- 10:55shocks the world and knocks off who they matched up.
- 10:58The Rams. The Rams?
- 10:59Who knows? The Rams sometimes don't show up
- 11:03to games. Sean McVay is a great offense of
- 11:06mine. He's a great head coach.
- 11:07But there are games just like Kyle Shanahan that he doesn't
- 11:10show up. His play calling isn't good.
- 11:13And I will say this about Carolina.
- 11:15Carolina's defense has been as good of a defense as any team in
- 11:20the NFC in the second-half of the season.
- 11:23But I I'm not surprised with any of these moves.
- 11:26I was surprised Zach Taylor still has a job and I the only
- 11:30reason why I would think they kept Zach Taylor is for one
- 11:33reason they want to keep Joe Burrow happy.
- 11:37Joe Burrow and Zach Taylor have a good relationship they look
- 11:40like they get along. Zach Taylor does what Joe Burrow
- 11:43wants. I would believe that Zach Taylor
- 11:46is Joe Burrows bitch. So I think that's why Zach
- 11:50Taylor still has a job because out of any guy besides Raheem
- 11:54Morris on this list and Gannon, this is the guy that should have
- 11:57been fired. Zach Taylor should not have a
- 12:00job. I don't care that a couple of
- 12:02years ago they played in a Super Bowl, they didn't win, they
- 12:06lost. OK.
- 12:09And what the the Bengals did all season long, first of all, not
- 12:14giving Trey Hendrickson until what, but before the season
- 12:17started a contract where they gave him a $30 million and, and
- 12:22pretty much telling him to go F himself.
- 12:26To me speaks volume volumes of where the the Bengals are
- 12:31looking when it comes to talent. They're not looking on the
- 12:33defensive side of the ball. They want to make Joe Burrow and
- 12:35Zach Taylor very, very happy. They could care less on the
- 12:38defensive side of the ball. As far as Matthew Stafford,
- 12:43Matthew Stafford to me has been the best quarterback in the NFL
- 12:46all season long. He should win the MVP.
- 12:50He should win with the the way that everything is set up, the
- 12:53schedule. I think he's thrown seven or six
- 12:56more touchdowns than Drake May and it's between both of them.
- 13:01Congratulations to Mikey C being right, not 90% right, but right
- 13:06about Drake May that he is going to end up a top five quarterback
- 13:10this year. I don't know about next year,
- 13:12but congratulations to Matthew Stafford, who I believe is the
- 13:14MVP of the NFL. He had 1793 yards.
- 13:19Congratulations to JSN and he he was sensational all season long
- 13:22and one of the reasons why I believe Seattle is one of the
- 13:25favorites of winning the whole thing going into the playoffs
- 13:29this year. James Cook was sensational.
- 13:31I really thought Derek Henry was going to surpass him and he was
- 13:36what I think he was like 30 or 40 yards of passing James Cook.
- 13:40And then in the second-half of the game, the the Baltimore
- 13:44Ravens didn't touch the ball enough for him to and, and, and
- 13:47they fell behind and, and you saw how the game ended up.
- 13:50But congratulations to James Cook.
- 13:52Very well deserved. Deserved because if you think
- 13:55about it, Dalvin Cook is his brother.
- 13:57And I remember when James Cook was drafted and I was like, who
- 14:00the hell is this? I think Buffalo is reaching.
- 14:03They're trying to compare him to his brother.
- 14:05I don't think this kid is ever going to be anywhere close to
- 14:07what his brother is. I was wrong.
- 14:10Dalvin Cook was a great running back.
- 14:11I think James Cook might even be better than his brother.
- 14:15Miles Garrett is the last guy I want to give a a compliment to
- 14:19Miles Garrett. I know they were bad, the Browns
- 14:22were bad. But to get 23 sacks, I know he
- 14:25played in one more game than, you know, obviously TJ Watt.
- 14:29And he played in one more game than or two more games than
- 14:32Michael Strahan. Whatever the numbers are, this
- 14:36story of Miles Garrett comes back to last season when a lot
- 14:42of people were complaining about what the Browns gave him.
- 14:45They gave him $40 million as a pass rusher.
- 14:50He is not a quarterback, he is not any of that those playmaking
- 14:55type of players. He is a defensive minded player.
- 14:58He is the defensive lineman. He is a he.
- 15:00He is a guy that puts his puts, puts pressure on the
- 15:03quarterback. But I didn't think that Miles
- 15:08Garrett was going to earn the $40 million a year contract that
- 15:13he got from the Browns. And this guy not only is the
- 15:16best defensive player I've seen in the last 10 years, he might
- 15:19be the best defensive player we've seen since Lawrence Taylor
- 15:23and Reggie White. That's how good this guy is.
- 15:27That's how dominant this guy is. Michael Strahan is great.
- 15:30Miles Garrett's better than Michael Strahan and, and, and TJ
- 15:33Watt's great. Miles Garrett is better than TJ
- 15:37Watt. This guy is by far the best
- 15:39defensive player in the league. He's 31 years old.
- 15:42I think he could play another two or three more years at the
- 15:45top level of his game because one, he's built like AI.
- 15:49Don't know what you call him. I mean, the guy is just like, I
- 15:53don't know, he's like Mr. Olympian.
- 15:55Not an 8 pack like a 16 pack. The guy doesn't.
- 15:58I mean, the guy's not human. I mean, he's 6 foot.
- 16:02He's 6 foot 6, 260 lbs of pure muscle.
- 16:06He he, it's like he's a comic. He's he's like a superhero.
- 16:10I, I've never seen anybody with a a body like this.
- 16:14I mean, it's unbelievable. And this guy is athletic.
- 16:19This guy can jam on a 10 foot hoop.
- 16:21He could do windmills. I've seen him do some crazy ass
- 16:24stuff with a basketball. This guy is so athletically
- 16:27gifted. So congratulations to Miles
- 16:29Garrett on a great season. Yeah, definitely still deserving
- 16:32of it. Yeah, the asterisk maybe does
- 16:34factor in. But when you look at TJ Watt, TJ
- 16:37Watt had an extra game too. And obviously straight hand, we
- 16:39talked about it last year. I had the whole controversy with
- 16:41Brett Favre. Did he really like fall down and
- 16:43give him that sack instead of Gassino keeping the record and
- 16:46even the unofficial guys before that too, before sacks were
- 16:48recorded in 1982. Still a very good accomplishment
- 16:50for a Browns defense that was very good all year because the
- 16:52Browns offense was terrible. Unfortunately, it cost Kevin
- 16:55Stefanski his job. Do I think he should have been
- 16:57fired? No.
- 16:58But again, this is what Brown this is what bad organizations
- 17:01like the Browns do. And I think I forget who was you
- 17:03and Jared. I think we're debating in on
- 17:05king of the Hill like who are the worst organizations of this
- 17:07century. I would give it to the Browns.
- 17:08And it's because they make do stupid things like that.
- 17:10They let go of Baker when they have something to go with them
- 17:11and let go of now Stefanski when he's been their best coach and
- 17:14who knows how long. And now you're going to have a
- 17:18destination that, yeah, OK, should or Sanders has.
- 17:20Fantasizing doesn't mean a coach is going to want to coach him
- 17:23when he's been uncoachable the whole time in college and in the
- 17:26NFL level. So good luck trying to get a guy
- 17:28that you're going to be able to get a good coach for.
- 17:30Atlanta, they're different because I think they have good
- 17:33weapons and I think a lot of offensive guys are going to want
- 17:35to. Coach Stefanski is going to get
- 17:36that. I was going to mention that
- 17:37Stefanski, I was mentioning at the beginning of the year could
- 17:40be a candidate for them because he has familiarity with Kirk
- 17:43Cousins. He coached there in Minnesota
- 17:44before he became the Browns head coach and he had a lot of 2
- 17:48running back in two tight end sets, which really is a strength
- 17:50of what Atlanta likes to do there and I think that would
- 17:53actually be a really good fit. Morris was never the answer.
- 17:55I know he did some good things with the defense this year, but
- 17:56I think it was more their draft and how well their defense play.
- 18:00You mentioned the trade with the with the Falcons, but they
- 18:02actually had a really good pressure this year.
- 18:04I think they were the third highest pressure rate in the
- 18:06league and they were their best in franchise history.
- 18:08So they've got the edge rushers finally go along with their
- 18:10defense. Arizona, they're going to be
- 18:11stuck. I don't see them being able to
- 18:13get a good head coach at this point because they really don't
- 18:15have much upside in that organization right now outside
- 18:17of trade. McBride and the Raiders will say
- 18:20if they can keep their their stars happy over there because
- 18:23we know Tom Brady's gonna have his own ego when it comes to
- 18:25this coaching decision. I got to throw some water on the
- 18:29Miles Garrett deserves an asterisk argument.
- 18:32I want there's something that's more important than how many
- 18:35games you played and it's how many snaps you were on the field
- 18:39for. Now, would you be believe that
- 18:42TJ Watt almost played six games worth more of snaps in his year
- 18:47that he got 22 1/2 sacks? Because that dude never came off
- 18:50the field. He played like 100% of the snaps
- 18:53and it was I had the numbers right here in his in his year in
- 18:582021, TJ Watt had 22 1/2 sacks on 616 snaps.
- 19:03In 2001, Michael Strahan, same 22 1/2 sacks, 567 snaps.
- 19:08So Strahan's was a little bit more impressive unless you count
- 19:11the far thing as being Fugazi. Miles Garrett 437 snaps, 180 a
- 19:20179 less than TJ Watt. That's like 1/3 of a season less
- 19:26of snaps. That's crazy that he was that
- 19:29much better than TJ Watt's season.
- 19:31It's unbelievable to me. Speaking of interesting, it was
- 19:34a pair of seasons to try to forget for the three and 14 Jets
- 19:39and the four and 13 Giants in the Meadowlands.
- 19:43However, despite the consistent failure under his leadership,
- 19:48Giants ownership announced today that GM Joe Shane will be back
- 19:53for 2026 season. Both John Mara and Steve Tisch
- 19:59referenced Shane's successful 2025 NFL draft as a reason to
- 20:06keep him. Multiple reports that say that
- 20:08Kevin Stefanski has emerged as a favorite for the Giants head
- 20:12coaching position after being fired by the Browns.
- 20:15The Giants are expected to start their head coaching research
- 20:19today, which will reportedly include.
- 20:22Interim coach Mike Kafka, who won the last two games of the
- 20:27season, pushing the Giants back to #5 to the number 5 pick in
- 20:32the 2026 NFL Draft. The Athletic at Athletic Zach
- 20:38Rosenblatt reports that Aaron Glenn is confirmed to be back
- 20:42with The Jets. Despite a lack of a successful
- 20:45season. The Jets became the only team in
- 20:47NFL history to have 0 interceptions on the season.
- 20:52Offensive coordinator Tanner Ekstrand and special teams
- 20:57coordinator Chris Banjo will also return, but The Jets will
- 21:03need to search for a new defensive coordinator after
- 21:07firing Steve Wilkes a few weeks before the end of the season.
- 21:11The Jets will pick at #2 in the 2026 NFL Draft.
- 21:17ESP NS Rich Simini reports that the Browns defensive coordinator
- 21:20Jim Schwartz, Bears defensive back coach Al Harris, and former
- 21:26Jet safety and Broncos defensive back coach Jim Leonard are
- 21:31candidates for their defensive coordinated job.
- 21:34Simini adds that The Jets are likely to part ways with Justin
- 21:39Fields after June 1st with which would have would save $10
- 21:44million of cap space. The Jets will have approximately
- 21:4874.8 million going into the offseason, while the Giants will
- 21:53have just over 11,000,000. Well First things first is the
- 21:58New York Giants. Joe Shane should not have a job.
- 22:02He should not have a job. I I have no idea why John Mayra
- 22:06and Steve Tish has decided to bring this idiot back because I
- 22:11don't care how good is 2025 draft was the season was a
- 22:16debacle and ever since he's taken over this job has the
- 22:19Giants won more? They have what?
- 22:22One good season? I think one good season.
- 22:24One playoff year at 9-7 and one. One good season with Joe Shane.
- 22:28After that it was a debacle. He he was the one that decided
- 22:32to bring Gable in. He was the one that decided to
- 22:37to make some of those moves over the last couple of years in the
- 22:40draft that have failed to work. He decided to draft a defensive
- 22:45lineman and has failed, I believe, an offensive lineman
- 22:49that definitely has failed. And Evan Neal.
- 22:52I, I mean, there's a lot of mistakes that this team in this
- 22:54organization has made over the last couple of years in drafting
- 22:58and bringing in free agents, one of them not signing Saquon
- 23:02Barkley, which has cost them. And you could see the Eagles are
- 23:06laughing right to the bank because guess what, They have
- 23:09won a Super Bowl with Saquon Barkley and Saquon Barkley
- 23:12almost broke Eric Dickerson's record last year before the
- 23:15season was over. Nevertheless, that the fact that
- 23:20you're hearing Kevin Stefanski, I've heard obviously McCarthy.
- 23:25I I think Kevin Stefanski is going to have a lot of teams
- 23:27interested in him. I don't think, even though the
- 23:29Giants are going to be looking at him and and trying to make a
- 23:31push for him. Is Stefanski going to want a
- 23:33Giants team that has a wide receiver coming off of a torn
- 23:38ACL? I don't know.
- 23:40We don't know what what type of player he's going to be when he
- 23:43comes back. They don't have a running game.
- 23:45Let's be honest, I don't care what anybody says.
- 23:48They got I, I think they got a good, they have two good number
- 23:51twos and we don't know now this is all going to work because one
- 23:55of them is coming off a major injury.
- 23:58I know you all like Scataboo, but Scataboo is not a number one
- 24:01guy. He's a, he's a banger.
- 24:03He's a #2. That's what he is.
- 24:05They don't really have a #1 running back.
- 24:08So Giant fans, calm down. The one thing I could say about
- 24:12the Giants, which there's a lot of questions to it, is Dexter
- 24:14Lawrence. You're hearing that could be he
- 24:17could be traded in the offseason.
- 24:19If they move Dexter Lawrence, that could significantly hurt
- 24:23the Giants defense next year, which has been their strength,
- 24:26their front 7. It's been their strength.
- 24:30They have one of the best pass rushers in the league this year.
- 24:33They had a rookie that didn't show up.
- 24:35The practices didn't show up, the film time who look good in
- 24:40certain aspects of the game, but I don't know if he could be
- 24:43controlled. And this is an organization that
- 24:47has has failed to win since 2011.
- 24:52And I told all the Giant fans you all had taken shots at Eli
- 24:56Manning year in and year out. We want to get rid of this guy.
- 25:00And now that Eli Manning is gone, who do you have to replace
- 25:03him? Now?
- 25:04I like Jackson Dart. I think Jackson Dart's going to
- 25:08be a good player in this league. If you get the right coach in
- 25:12place. Stefanski, you bring it.
- 25:14Stefanski, has he developed any quarterback?
- 25:18Honest to God, Baker Mayfield was good, but when he left Kevin
- 25:22Stefanski, he wasn't. It was when Baker Mayfield left
- 25:26the Rams is when he transitioned or changed his worth as a
- 25:31quarterback. It wasn't Kevin Stefanski.
- 25:35So Giant fans, I know everybody is looking at Kevin Stefanski.
- 25:38Oh, he was coach of the year. He never developed a quarterback
- 25:42with the Browns. And let's go through some of the
- 25:44quarterbacks he's had. He hasn't even done well with a
- 25:49quarterback that was successful and Deshaun Watson.
- 25:53But there is somebody that has developed quarterbacks and Mike
- 25:56McCarthy, and I've been saying this over and over and over
- 26:00again, if the Giants want to turn Jackson Dart into the
- 26:04quarterback of the future for their organization, it is Mike
- 26:08McCarthy is who they should be hiring.
- 26:11So I know it's a it's a sexy pic and Kevin Stefanski is going to
- 26:16make his decision. Do you really think that Kevin
- 26:18Stefanski is going to want this job?
- 26:20You think he wants to work with Joe Shane, who could be fired
- 26:23next year and have to deal with another GM?
- 26:26The answer would be no, because if Kevin Stefanski goes to
- 26:31Atlanta, he has more say, He has more talent.
- 26:35I mean, it makes more sense for Stefanski to go there than the
- 26:39New York Giants or Giant fans. You better hope Mike McCarthy's
- 26:42the one to be picked now as far as The Jets are concerned.
- 26:47Jet fans. I, I'm being honest here.
- 26:52Aaron Glenn was not the problem this year.
- 26:55He wasn't. The problem with the New York
- 26:58Jets is pretty simple. It's Woody Johnson.
- 27:02Woody Johnson needs to stay the hell away from this team.
- 27:06Let Moji and let Aaron Glenn do their jobs.
- 27:11Let them build this team from the bottom to the top.
- 27:14This was not Aaron Glenn's team. It wasn't.
- 27:18It wasn't Aaron Glenn's team. This was Robert, AKA Bambi
- 27:23Solid's team. All break.
- 27:25I mean, all gas, no break. That's him, The guy with the
- 27:29bald head dancing around and prancing around with the San
- 27:32Francisco 49ers right now as their defensive coordinator.
- 27:36It's not Aaron Glenn's fault that this season was a debacle.
- 27:39But I got news for you guys. I have something for you guys to
- 27:42look forward to. Dan Campbell's record, he his
- 27:46first season with the Lions, he had three wins, right?
- 27:50Speedy it. Was 312 and one I.
- 27:52Believe three wins. Aaron Glenn has three wins with
- 27:56the New York. I'm not saying he's Dan
- 27:58Campbell, but he is a likable guy.
- 28:01Bill Parcells said that. And yes, the great Bill Parcells
- 28:05has said that Aaron Glenn is going to be a good coach in this
- 28:07league if The Jets give him a chance to develop as one.
- 28:12He didn't want Quinton Williams here.
- 28:14He didn't want George Garner here.
- 28:16He made those moves, him emoji, made those moves and saved
- 28:19money. The Jets have the third best
- 28:23salary cap to spend in the offseason.
- 28:26Out of all the NFL teams, they have the most money.
- 28:30Only two teams, the Raiders that I forget, the other team that
- 28:33have more money than they do, the Titans, The Jets have money.
- 28:38Now, they might have to overspend and we'll see how this
- 28:41draft falls into their lap. This is a job that can
- 28:46absolutely transition next year. Now, I don't know if they're
- 28:49going to win more than six or seven games next year because
- 28:52they're going to need at least another year with the roster
- 28:55they're going to put together in the offseason.
- 28:57It takes usually three to four years to put a team together
- 29:02that could be a successful championship contending team.
- 29:06Go look at all the great teams that have done it.
- 29:09But if there's any sport that could there could be a
- 29:11transition in one season, it's football.
- 29:15And if The Jets make the right moves in the offseason, they
- 29:18find themselves a damn pass rusher.
- 29:20After 25 years of not finding one and John Abraham was the
- 29:24last one, they can actually find one that could get to the
- 29:27quarterback. They have an offensive line and
- 29:29find themselves a consistent young and up and coming
- 29:34quarterback that they can develop.
- 29:37I think The Jets are going to be put up in put in a very good
- 29:40position. So fans, relax, breathe.
- 29:45I don't know if it's going to be good or bad going into the
- 29:49offseason as a Jet fan. But what I can say as a Jet fan
- 29:54is that if Moji makes the right moves in the next two years in
- 30:00the draft, The Jets could be set up very, very well for their
- 30:05future. I'll keep it quick because we're
- 30:07Bobby in right now, but The Jets I think are set up well when it
- 30:10comes to their draft stock as well.
- 30:11And they're also going to probably purge a lot of those
- 30:14other contracts you mentioned Jermaine Johnson as possibly
- 30:16being one they could let go of. I think some of the other
- 30:18contracts on defense, I think they have leeway to get rid of
- 30:21because they know it was that systems type guys.
- 30:23And now if Aaron Glenn brings in a different guy, which I think
- 30:27you have a lot of good candidates there already that
- 30:29could fit his type of defense of more physical type defense.
- 30:32I I think it could make a a lot of sense.
- 30:33Al Harris has been a good defensive coach for the Cowboys
- 30:35for a while now, doing it with the Bears with a great secondary
- 30:38over there. I think that would be a good
- 30:39fit. And obviously Jim Schwartz has
- 30:41been one of the best in a while. So if they can get one of those
- 30:42two, that would be really good. I think the offense is going to
- 30:45grow. I think you're going to get, you
- 30:46saw some good flash with their weapon.
- 30:47I think Eggstran, I think he just needs a more of a pocket
- 30:50type of quarterback. I don't think Fields really fit
- 30:52that mold of what he did with with Jared Goff and The Jets.
- 30:55I think they did the right thing.
- 30:56Stop complaining about Aaron Glenn.
- 30:58Just they didn't interception and just he's a bad culture guy.
- 31:00No, he's not. You don't know that after one
- 31:02year. As far as the Giants, yeah, Joe,
- 31:05Shane, how he kept his job is beyond me.
- 31:07Bad contracts given on the defense, bad contracts given on
- 31:10the offensive line that really have not worked out.
- 31:12Yeah, OK, Yeah, he had a good draft this year.
- 31:14He's had some good day three draft picks over the years.
- 31:16But it's not enough to keep his job.
- 31:17And this is a bad thing for organizations.
- 31:19You always want your coach and GM on the same page.
- 31:21And now he's going to try to dart throw and hope to get a
- 31:23good coach and Mike McCarthy or somebody like that, good luck.
- 31:26But his moves have not. Helped It's a home run with Mike
- 31:29McCarthy. I agree, but a home run?
- 31:30Is he smart enough to do that? I don't know.
- 31:33I I don't know about McCarthy. We've talked about it.
- 31:35I'm not going to re hashtag because we don't have a lot of
- 31:37time. Just want to talk about
- 31:38Stefanski real quick. He only had Baker Mayfield as a
- 31:41rookie those first couple of years.
- 31:42Yet we all know the story. He was a third year guy with the
- 31:45hurt. Show his. 3rd year he got hurt.
- 31:48His third year he got hurt and played through it and then you
- 31:51know, it was bad and they let him go.
- 31:53And after that, these are the quarterbacks.
- 31:54He had Deshaun Watson off of that.
- 31:58I mean why they gave him the guaranteed money when he should
- 32:01have been basically in jail and had this public humiliation.
- 32:04He never played anywhere close to the level the Texans had him
- 32:07at. I don't think you can blame
- 32:08Stefanski. He turned Joe Flacco into
- 32:10comeback player of the year that year.
- 32:12If you don't remember, he didn't.
- 32:14He first of all, his career. Joe Flacco everywhere.
- 32:17You're wrong and you have a love fetish for Stefanski.
- 32:19I got news for you. Well, you're not the guys.
- 32:22You had where DT are not getting Winston and Dylan Gabriel and
- 32:25why would. Stefanski want the Giants job
- 32:28when he go to. The because Jackson Dart is a
- 32:31legit please #1 how do you want no.
- 32:34League, and he has. Because he's clearly hasn't had
- 32:37a really good #2 for Rookie of the Year in Vegas.
- 32:41OK. He's the second best rookie this
- 32:43year on offense. You're going to tell me Michael
- 32:45Panic, Michael Pennix isn't a legit quarterback?
- 32:48Not even close. Get out of here.
- 32:49Not get out of here, Michael Pennix.
- 32:52Not even close. Michael Pennix is much to the
- 32:54film. Get out of here.
- 32:56A lot of money here on Jack. Your typical Michael panic.
- 32:59Typical giant fun. Typical ladies and gentlemen,
- 33:03because panics might never play with the third ACL.
- 33:06Out here, get out of here the. 3rd ACL So what?
- 33:09So what third ACL Michael Pennix will be back, and Michael Pennix
- 33:14is a better quarterback than Jackson Dart I.
- 33:16Completely. Disagree.
- 33:17Well, I disagree with you. You want to compare.
- 33:19That's fine, but Dart has better tape and he had a better season
- 33:22than Pennix. Oh, really?
- 33:23So yes, he did he. Wasn't any good he was.
- 33:26Sensational. Ever been good?
- 33:28He was knocked down a million times.
- 33:30All he could do is move outside of the pocket and use his legs.
- 33:33He didn't throw the ball enough. Give me a break.
- 33:35You think Jackson Dart has more than enough?
- 33:38More than enough film? You're a. 100% Jackson dart all
- 33:41right is is for real and most attractive job in the entire
- 33:46offseason you're at anyone you're at Atlanta is run by a
- 33:48guy who doesn't know what. Are you are you an era at least
- 33:51guys, are you listening to this guy?
- 33:53Kidding? This guy thinks that the Giants,
- 33:55the Giants are the most attractive job in all of the in
- 33:58the NFL, you are on drop. It's being said all over
- 34:01television today. It's being said everywhere.
- 34:04So to think that this is not a common sense, I don't think that
- 34:08you have a real quarterback. Disagree.
- 34:10Cam Ward isn't on that list. I disagree.
- 34:12For rookie of the year, and he was taken one overall.
- 34:15Jackson Dart should have been number one overall.
- 34:17Doctor Cam Ward, I disagree. That's what we learned this
- 34:19year. I disagree.
- 34:21I just love the Giants, man. I'll tell you this though, I
- 34:23don't know why Shane is back. Shane, look, I guess the draft
- 34:26was good, but I man, he didn't take credit for that pick of
- 34:30Dart. That's why I don't want Shane
- 34:31back. He's like, well, that was
- 34:33Dabel's pick and now all of a sudden it's Shane's pick and
- 34:36I'll leave it at that. I don't trust Shane.
- 34:39I'm very concerned with them taking somebody.
- 34:41I hope Stefanski is the guy. I hope he can figure it out.
- 34:43I will say this, if Joe Shane chooses Stefanski, well
- 34:48Stefanski could be 1 and done because Joe Shane could be fired
- 34:52after this coming season and then Stefanski will be going
- 34:56because they're going to be bringing in AGM and AGM that's
- 34:59going to want his own coach. So I don't know if Stefanski is
- 35:02going to want this job knowing that Joe Shane could be on the
- 35:06hot seat and honest to God, out of all the teams to say that the
- 35:09Giants are the best team out of all the teams that are
- 35:12available. I disagree.
- 35:14That's just I I look at both the Atlanta has much more to.
- 35:17Probably got the best roster as far as defense, the Giants
- 35:22defensive Ross. Dexter Lawrence there There are
- 35:24stories coming out that Dexter Lawrence don't want to be there,
- 35:27and the giants might be willing to.
- 35:28Trade him. He's under contract for five
- 35:29years. Well, good.
- 35:31The offensive line stinks. They're the.
- 35:33Offensive line's top five in running the football in the NFL.
- 35:36They're offensive line. Yeah, we're.
- 35:38Completely wrong when Thomas is the Giants old lines really
- 35:41good, could you? Pop out for a second so I can
- 35:43finish my day because I, I, you interrupted my take and told me
- 35:46I was wrong. Well, I am the host of the show.
- 35:48Of course I'm going to interrupt your take and I, I'm going to
- 35:51tell you something when Thomas is not in their offensive line
- 35:54stinks. So if you want to bet they
- 35:56stick, they stick. They stick.
- 35:59Better than The Jets offensive line this year.
- 36:01Just like really really. Yes, I disagree, but that's you
- 36:05can look at stats all you want, but I'm telling you The Jets
- 36:09have been a bad team all season long just because of the
- 36:11situations that they've been in all season long.
- 36:14So and and by the way, I going back to the New York Giants, I I
- 36:17don't have any hatred for the New York Giants.
- 36:19I just hate giant fans. I hate Giant fans because Giant
- 36:24fans over and over and over and over again will sit here and
- 36:28make their excuses when they're bad and then find ways to make
- 36:32all these all these, give them all these takes at the end of
- 36:36the season that this is the best team of out of all the teams
- 36:39that are looking for coaching coaches, the the Giants are by
- 36:43far the best. Who's got a better quarterback
- 36:45than them? I just told you that you want to
- 36:47go to. I just told you the six teams.
- 36:49I told you with the Atlanta Falcons, I'm going with the
- 36:51Atlanta. Falcons panics.
- 36:52He's not going to play next year.
- 36:53It's going to be Cousins. Next year, maybe not.
- 36:54Maybe not. Michael Pennix could be back at
- 36:56the end of the season next year and and I'm gonna, I'm not.
- 37:00Going there because the guy's gonna be back at the end of the
- 37:01season. I'm going there because the
- 37:03talent is better over there. Well, offensively, yes.
- 37:07What is he, Bijan Robinson? Kyle.
- 37:08But Kyle Pitts isn't going to be there.
- 37:10He's going to get a contract from someone this year.
- 37:12We'll see. I think they'll if if, if
- 37:14Stefanski goes there, he will sign back with them.
- 37:17So I and I think Stefanski makes a lot of sense over there.
- 37:20We'll see. All right, that was interesting
- 37:23as always. I like it.
- 37:25It's always. Good.
- 37:26You knew it was going to be like that talking about the Giants at
- 37:28the. End.
- 37:29I know. That's why I like to get under
- 37:30your skin as well. All right, my golf clap of the
- 37:34day. This deserves a golf clap.
- 37:37No doubt. Golf clap.
- 37:39Golf Clap My golf clap of the day goes to the Philadelphia
- 37:45Phillies ladies and gentlemen. They made the right decision as
- 37:49an ex Yankee manager hires another ex Yankee manager.
- 37:56Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the new hitting coach for the
- 38:00Philadelphia Phillies is Donnie Baseball.
- 38:05I love it, absolutely love it. Don, Donnie Don Don Mattingly is
- 38:10one of my favorite players of all time.
- 38:11He was over there with the Blue Jays last year as one of their
- 38:14bench coaches. This is this is a guy that is
- 38:17falling short for a World Series everywhere he's gone as a coach,
- 38:21as a manager, as a player. The guy last year he was in the
- 38:25world, he had a chance to win a World Series in and came up
- 38:27short as the Dodgers beat the the Toronto Toronto Blue Jays.
- 38:32I think this is a great move for the Philadelphia Phillies.
- 38:35This is one of the greatest first baseman hitters we've ever
- 38:39seen. Before his back injury, this guy
- 38:42hit for power, hit for average, and in a five year stand this
- 38:46guy was one of the best hitters in baseball.
- 38:48So my golf clap of the day goes to the Philadelphia Phillies
- 38:53signing my favorite player of all time, the one they call
- 38:57Donnie Baseball. Thank you to all the fans on
- 39:03Apple on Spotify on the video and audio section over there,
- 39:07keeping us at the high 2 hundreds and right now just
- 39:10fighting to get to that 100 spots.
- 39:13So thank you to all the fans out there.
- 39:15Thank you to all the TikTok Instagram, Facebook X and
- 39:20YouTube fans, jabba in the mouth worldwide sports radio network.

- 39:29the work and, and the time that we put into this.
- 39:32And, and we expect big things this year, a lot of big things
- 39:36and, and get ready guys, we're going to hit home runs and steal
- 39:40a lot of bases in baseball terms.
- 39:42But yeah, it's been a great one. It's been our first show of the
- 39:46year and we're in 2026. And like I said, ladies and
- 39:52gentlemen, get ready for the ride because we're going to take

- 40:00Actually, Nathan has our guest for Thursday.
- 40:01So your glasses, Nathan. Grow up.
- 40:04Hey, hey, whoa Doo Doo. First of all, great show today
- 40:09with Bobby Valentine. I loved it.
- 40:11He bought a lot of great stuff. He has a Thursday books for my
- 40:14good friend Timmy Witherspoon. He's a two time heavyweight
- 40:18champion boxing legend. He'll be coming on at 8:45 PM
- 40:22Eastern. Originally it was John Mitch,
- 40:24but he can't make it. So my guy Tim Witherspoon will
- 40:27be joining. I want to, I want to tell
- 40:29everybody, Tim Witherspoon I met when I was a kid.
- 40:32I was I was at the Poconos and I was sitting in the hot tub and
- 40:36he was talking and he had a conversation with my father.
- 40:39I'll never forget it. And he was like, oh, I was the
- 40:41heavyweight champion of the world.
- 40:43And I was like, who the hell are you?
- 40:44He's like, I'm Tim Witherspoon. I was like, I never heard of
- 40:48you. I've heard of Mike Dyson.
- 40:49I never heard of you. And he laughed and and we
- 40:52actually hung out with his family the whole time when we
- 40:55were there. So I'm going to mention I think
- 40:57he's going to Remember Me because I was the crazy white
- 40:59boy. So that's what he called me.
- 41:01It's a true story. Yeah.
- 41:05I'll never forget. I got into a fight with my
- 41:06father That, that, that time that we went to the Poconos and
- 41:10I ran through the woods because trying to get away from my
- 41:13family and I ran. So the, the, the, if you ever
- 41:17been to Poconos, it's all there's a lot of woods.
- 41:19I ran through, took a detour and met them on the outside.
- 41:23My father didn't know how I got through the woods and got to the
- 41:26end of the detour faster than they did.
- 41:28So that's a true story. I'll never forget that time And
- 41:31I, I did meet Timmy at that time, so I, I don't know if
- 41:34you'll remember it, but I, I did.
- 41:37His sons were young. It was a pretty funny.
- 41:39It was a good time. I, I love the Poconos.
- 41:41So Tim Witherspoon, all right, first time on Jabba in the
- 41:45mouth. All right.
- 41:47Anyways, it's been a great one. First show of the year,
- 41:51something to remember. And ladies and gentlemen, we've
- 41:54got a lot more to go. Until then, this is Errol Jabba,
- 41:59Speedy fisherman, The old myth and the poop shoot saying good
- 42:05night. Oh, and Speedy.
- 42:07Goodnight. We'll talk to you then.
- 42:08Goodnight, everybody. It's the worldwide sports radio
- 42:12network. Radio Network.
