- 0:02Speaker 1: It is due to the graphic nature of this program.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Listener dis question, is it lies.
- 0:17Speaker 3: The Woody Show?
- 0:23Speaker 4: This is the Woody Show.
- 0:26Speaker 5: Insensitivity Training.
- 0:37Speaker 6: Class is now in session.
- 0:40Speaker 4: M Well, hey, good morning everybody. You're working a notice
- 0:47Speaker 4: today that Woody isn't here. In the meantime, everybody else
- 0:52Speaker 4: holding it down. You got Greg, Oh, that's me, man,
- 0:56Speaker 4: this is here. Hi, Hi, good morning, Gina, Hi, Sea
- 0:59Speaker 4: Bass and Sammy here.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Hello.
- 1:01Speaker 4: Sammy questioned for you, do you know what yarn bombing is?
- 1:04Speaker 7: Yarn bombing?
- 1:06Speaker 4: Because today is yarn bombing.
- 1:08Speaker 7: That's where like like it's basically graffiti artists but with
- 1:11Speaker 7: yarn like a knitting we have.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Covered on the show before.
- 1:15Speaker 8: We have yeah, where we're basically like there's a tree
- 1:18Speaker 8: and then they like take a bunch of yarn and
- 1:20Speaker 8: then make a design.
- 1:22Speaker 7: And they get it a sweater. Okay, yarn.
- 1:27Speaker 4: Well, that's today, June eleventh Yarn Bombing Day. Also National
- 1:31Speaker 4: Career Nurse Assistance dayne National Corn on the Cob Day.
- 1:35Speaker 4: Really something I rip out hard for. It's National German
- 1:39Speaker 4: Chocolate cake Day.
- 1:41Speaker 9: I got no problem with that, Yeah.
- 1:43Speaker 4: None whatsoever. And then real quick for you menace today
- 1:47Speaker 4: in nineteen sixty two. Oh, on this day, those three
- 1:51Speaker 4: prisoners at Alcatraz staged in escape and left the island
- 1:55Speaker 4: on that makeshift raft and they were never heard from again.
- 1:58Speaker 8: Dude, they got out man before. I didn't think they did.
- 2:01Speaker 8: But yeah, I told you I was. You know, I
- 2:04Speaker 8: originally did radio in San Francisco. And we took out
- 2:07Speaker 8: one of our guys with no training. Yeah, and we
- 2:10Speaker 8: took out a boat. We went to Alcatraz and he
- 2:13Speaker 8: swam to shore.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Thing is just a rumors in there, for sure. Yeah.
- 2:19Speaker 4: I had this teacher in school in high school. She
- 2:23Speaker 4: was the special ed teacher, and she was a world
- 2:25Speaker 4: class swimmer. She would train by taking cold showers. She
- 2:29Speaker 4: wouldn't wash dishes because she was not allowed to do
- 2:32Speaker 4: anything with hot water. Take cold baths, cold showers, and
- 2:36Speaker 4: she did swims in San Francisco Bay to train. And
- 2:39Speaker 4: one time she dove in off the shoreline, off the
- 2:42Speaker 4: pier you know, in San Francisco, and she said, within
- 2:46Speaker 4: about fifteen feet she was bitten by something. They don't
- 2:49Speaker 4: know if it was a shark or what. She got bitten.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Pretty damn freaky.
- 2:54Speaker 8: Because there's a small island just outside the Golden Gate
- 2:57Speaker 8: Bridge where a bunch of sea lions are and they
- 3:00Speaker 8: call it like the Blood Triangle or something.
- 3:02Speaker 4: Yeah, the Triangle.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Yeah, delicious blood.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Nothing but sharks, Mega Sharks. And I always go back
- 3:10Speaker 4: and watch that movie Escape from Alcatraz.
- 3:12Speaker 1: It's so good.
- 3:13Speaker 8: Well, speaking of movies and days, Disclosure Day comes out
- 3:17Speaker 8: this weekend. I know people are excited about that. But
- 3:20Speaker 8: another movie that people are super excited about is a
- 3:22Speaker 8: thing called The Odyssey. And I know it was like
- 3:26Speaker 8: crashing websites. People are trying to get these tickets, and Tyler,
- 3:31Speaker 8: our movie guy, you said, oh, yeah, you don't know
- 3:35Speaker 8: about the Odyssey, Like this all makes sense that people
- 3:37Speaker 8: are going crazy for this movie.
- 3:39Speaker 1: You said that people read this book in high school.
- 3:41Speaker 8: Yeah, anything about this book, greg or Sammy or anything
- 3:46Speaker 8: and not or people freaking about freaking out about this movie.
- 3:49Speaker 8: I have not seen anything about this movie at all.
- 3:52Speaker 4: The only thing I know about it is and I
- 3:54Speaker 4: think it popped up somewhere. It's directed by Christopher Nolan.
- 3:58Speaker 4: And I mentioned I can't do Chris for nolan movies.
- 4:01Speaker 4: I'm not good at watching movies. His movies are too complicated,
- 4:05Speaker 4: too heady, too esoteric. I don't I can't do Christopher Nolan.
- 4:10Speaker 8: Yeah, but why should I know about this movie, Tyler.
- 4:13Speaker 6: Because I thought everybody read it in high school? Number one.
- 4:15Speaker 6: I read it when I was a sophomore. I was
- 4:17Speaker 6: required by our school to read it.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Okay, so no spoiler. But what is it even about this?
- 4:21Speaker 6: So it's basically about a dude who's punished by the
- 4:24Speaker 6: Greek gods and he's just trying to make his way
- 4:26Speaker 6: back home and he has to endure like all these
- 4:29Speaker 6: like trials and like all this stuff. It's pretty much
- 4:32Speaker 6: the easiest way to explain it because it's been like
- 4:34Speaker 6: ages since I've read it. But yeah, it's like all
- 4:36Speaker 6: about Greek mythology, all that stuff. There's a cyclops in it,
- 4:38Speaker 6: not as so it's total fantasy movie. Yeah, it's yeah,
- 4:41Speaker 6: like old school fantasy movie. And the guy who wrote
- 4:43Speaker 6: it was I think, like a Greek theologian or whatever
- 4:48Speaker 6: whatever they're called way back in the day. Philosopher third is.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Oh okay that guy, Yeah, yeah, weird. Yeah, not on
- 4:55Speaker 4: my radar.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Everyone's going crazy.
- 4:56Speaker 8: I go, I have not seen one thing about this movie.
- 5:00Speaker 8: But then you started calling me out. They're like, oh,
- 5:01Speaker 8: there's billboards everywhere.
- 5:04Speaker 6: I don't know why you haven't seen it. There's been
- 5:06Speaker 6: stuff about it for like months, Like I knew about
- 5:09Speaker 6: this movie a year ago. I think the first teaser
- 5:10Speaker 6: trailer came out like six months ago.
- 5:12Speaker 8: Really, my eyes have been closed. But the one thing
- 5:15Speaker 8: I can't avoid is Disclosure Day. I have seen trailers
- 5:19Speaker 8: for that since I don't know. Scream came out, and
- 5:23Speaker 8: I feel like I see that on TV all the
- 5:25Speaker 8: time and ads online.
- 5:26Speaker 4: The synopsis of that sounds really good.
- 5:29Speaker 10: What is that one about it?
- 5:30Speaker 1: So it's Steven.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Spielberg directing it, and it's about a meteorologist and a
- 5:35Speaker 4: cybersecurity expert and they somehow are trying to expose a
- 5:40Speaker 4: government cover up of extraterrestrials inxtraterrestrial secrets.
- 5:45Speaker 7: Oh you know what?
- 5:46Speaker 10: I did see that?
- 5:47Speaker 11: Steven Spielberg just did an interview and he said that
- 5:49Speaker 11: he believes there are aliens and that they're still here.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Spielberg, Well, okay, RAG see. Normally I'm not like a
- 5:58Speaker 4: cast driven person like, oh I gotta see that. But
- 6:01Speaker 4: Emily Blunt love her. Colin Firth, who was in one
- 6:05Speaker 4: of my favorite movies of all time called A Single Man.
- 6:07Speaker 4: If you haven't seen it. It's life changing. And then
- 6:11Speaker 4: don't know him by name, but you might know him
- 6:13Speaker 4: if you look him up. Coleman Domingo. On Netflix, there
- 6:16Speaker 4: is a series called The Four Seasons, which is based
- 6:20Speaker 4: on some old timey movie. Has Tina Fey. Oh yeah,
- 6:24Speaker 4: a bunch of other stars and Coleman Domingo's on that
- 6:26Speaker 4: show and it is a plus. It's so entertaining. So
- 6:30Speaker 4: if you want to get caught up on something to
- 6:32Speaker 4: watch on Netflix, I mean Four Seasons.
- 6:34Speaker 1: But this movie sounds good.
- 6:35Speaker 8: Yeah, the trailer for the movie looks so weird. Really,
- 6:38Speaker 8: it's usually stuff that I'm not into. I love comedies, yeah,
- 6:42Speaker 8: you know, like you know rom comms. Don't judge me,
- 6:44Speaker 8: but or something like Fast and Furior somewhere right now.
- 6:48Speaker 6: Oh yeah, yeah dude, Yeah.
- 6:51Speaker 4: What year did you graduate again, Tyler? I am class
- 6:53Speaker 4: of twenty ten. Twenty ten, so sixteen years ago. Odyssey,
- 7:00Speaker 4: I mean one thousand percent not on my radar when
- 7:02Speaker 4: I was in high school.
- 7:03Speaker 6: Yeah, and even then, I read it when I was
- 7:05Speaker 6: a sophomore, so that would have been two more years.
- 7:07Speaker 6: So what eighteen years?
- 7:08Speaker 11: Yeah, okay, I can tell you when I was a sophomore.
- 7:11Speaker 11: The book we read was Lord of the Flies.
- 7:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that's law that everybody had to be
- 7:15Speaker 4: Lord of the Flies.
- 7:17Speaker 10: Did you read that one, Tyler?
- 7:18Speaker 6: I do remember. I don't remember if I actually read it.
- 7:20Speaker 6: I probably did the cliff Notes version.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Yeah. I know the name.
- 7:24Speaker 6: Yeah, I know the name.
- 7:25Speaker 8: I don't know what it's about. It is that the
- 7:27Speaker 8: one where they were like on the island or something.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Yeah, there's like some sort of plane crash and it's
- 7:31Speaker 4: just the kids left over and then they become savages essentially.
- 7:35Speaker 1: It's a it's a really dark.
- 7:38Speaker 11: Yeah, and they just sort of like remake of that
- 7:40Speaker 11: movie that's out right now they did.
- 7:41Speaker 4: That's also a series on Netflix. Okay, super dark, super disturbing. Yeah,
- 7:46Speaker 4: but that's really good. The ones that we had to
- 7:48Speaker 4: do in high school Lord of the Flies, Animal Far Yeah,
- 7:53Speaker 4: that's still required, is it?
- 7:54Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 7:55Speaker 6: That was still there.
- 7:56Speaker 7: I don't know that one.
- 7:57Speaker 4: I couldn't remember it, Okay. And then nineteen.
- 8:01Speaker 6: We read that, and on top of that we had
- 8:03Speaker 6: to read Great Gatsby and catch her in the Rye Rules.
- 8:07Speaker 4: To this day, my all time favorite book, Great Gatsby
- 8:10Speaker 4: Can Go Die.
- 8:12Speaker 1: That's all.
- 8:13Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 8:14Speaker 6: That was a great movie though, with Leo very.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Oh, then what's the one that I had to read
- 8:22Speaker 1: that I always shout out, Now I.
- 8:23Speaker 4: Can't Flowers for Algernon?
- 8:25Speaker 1: Yeah, did you read that one?
- 8:28Speaker 12: No?
- 8:28Speaker 1: I don't.
- 8:29Speaker 10: I mean I remember the name of it, but I know.
- 8:30Speaker 1: What you're talking about. Is that about a bull? Or am?
- 8:32Speaker 1: I think it's?
- 8:33Speaker 8: No, it's about this you know, special guy who ends
- 8:35Speaker 8: up being I don't know, I don't remember if they
- 8:38Speaker 8: had him like take some kind of drug or something,
- 8:40Speaker 8: but then he becomes insanely smart, but then he becomes
- 8:44Speaker 8: special again.
- 8:45Speaker 1: How did I not read that? I don't know.
- 8:47Speaker 11: I heard the name of it, though. You just reminded
- 8:49Speaker 11: me what we also read, which was of mice and men.
- 8:52Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, that's mega old timey as well.
- 8:55Speaker 8: I know there's a movie for Flowers for Algernon and
- 8:58Speaker 8: he gets I get some point, he gets like kind
- 9:00Speaker 8: of horny.
- 9:01Speaker 1: We're watching this in high school? Yeah it Algernon.
- 9:06Speaker 4: Yeah, I think Algernon was a bull.
- 9:09Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, are thinking of fand.
- 9:15Speaker 4: Hours for Algernon?
- 9:17Speaker 13: Now?
- 9:17Speaker 1: I want to read it and see it? Yeah? Do it?
- 9:20Speaker 1: That's all hot and stuff.
- 9:21Speaker 4: Totally all right.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Well, let's take a look at today's birthdays.
- 9:25Speaker 14: Show this ship.
- 9:29Speaker 1: We don't this ship, and you know we don't.
- 9:33Speaker 4: Do well normally. There's a relatively long list of birthdays,
- 9:38Speaker 4: and we know him down because we're like, who the
- 9:39Speaker 4: hell is that today? I think they're all noteworthy. Okay,
- 9:43Speaker 4: so doctor Oz. Everybody knows Doctor Oz. He's sixty six today.
- 9:47Speaker 4: Hugh Lourie, the British actor, he was Doctor House. Yeah,
- 9:51Speaker 4: sixty seven. More importantly, he was the guy sitting next
- 9:56Speaker 4: to Rachel on the plane in the finale of Friends.
- 9:58Speaker 4: Everybody else knows that good friend of the show, the
- 10:03Speaker 4: very friendly Shia La buff Oh yeah, he's the Big
- 10:06Speaker 4: four to Oh no, he only got probation. Joshua Joshua Jackson.
- 10:12Speaker 4: He played Passion Dawson's Creed. He is forty eight. You
- 10:16Speaker 4: got the midget superstar Peter Dinklice, he's fifty seven.
- 10:20Speaker 1: One of my heroes.
- 10:21Speaker 4: And I met him once, took a picture with him,
- 10:24Speaker 4: and it was on an desktop computer that has since
- 10:27Speaker 4: long died. So I don't have the photo of me
- 10:30Speaker 4: with Joe Monte.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Oh man, I know, do you have the computers?
- 10:34Speaker 4: No? I haven't, No, it's long gone. Anyway, you got
- 10:38Speaker 4: to recreate it.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I would love to.
- 10:40Speaker 8: I saw that Joe actually is gonna be at like
- 10:43Speaker 8: some signing place at Caesar's Palace, and.
- 10:46Speaker 4: They God, I should go. He's seventy he'd probably remember
- 10:49Speaker 4: me too, of course. And then Frank Beard from zz
- 10:55Speaker 4: Top is seventy seven, and ironically Frank Beard is the
- 10:58Speaker 4: only one in zz To without the peer.
- 11:01Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 11:01Speaker 4: True. Today's porno birthday is a lady named Aliah Love,
- 11:06Speaker 4: and Today's birthday girl has been serviced by a lot
- 11:09Speaker 4: more people than a gas station. She's been in one
- 11:12Speaker 4: and thirty eight fine adult films. She was in a
- 11:16Speaker 4: Leah Love Banks her cousin before a family reunion. Oh okay,
- 11:20Speaker 4: that would make Sea Bass excited. She was in gold
- 11:23Speaker 4: Star Lesbian Squirt School Volume one. She was great and
- 11:30Speaker 4: impregnate me stat Yeah. Horny Nerd magically swaps bodies with
- 11:36Speaker 4: her cheerleader stepsister Sammy and perhaps you remember her role
- 11:41Speaker 4: and her husband is a bottom Volume one yeah, also
- 11:45Speaker 4: volume two?
- 11:46Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, Tyler, you're you have a fetish of dating moms.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Would you date a porn star? Yeah?
- 11:53Speaker 6: I don't think it would bother me that much.
- 11:55Speaker 1: This guy has no limits limits, right, and what.
- 11:58Speaker 4: A birthday gift that would be to Leah Love for
- 12:00Speaker 4: you to bang her a happy birthday. She is forty

- 12:56Speaker 1: Can't wait to see you there. In the meantime, enjoyed
- 12:58Speaker 1: the Woody Show podcast.
- 13:13Speaker 4: All right, we're back here at the Woody Show. On
- 13:15Speaker 4: a Throwback Thursday, and it feels throwback because we were
- 13:17Speaker 4: talking about Lord of the Fly, Ye Flowers, all that
- 13:22Speaker 4: kind of all this other throwback stuff and then honesty,
- 13:26Speaker 4: which I've never.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Heard of me neither. Apparently it's huge. Apparently throwback. Can
- 13:32Speaker 1: we bring Tyler back in though? Real quick?
- 13:35Speaker 7: We need Tyler?
- 13:36Speaker 1: Tyler Tyler.
- 13:37Speaker 8: Okay, So everyone on the show says that I'm obsessed
- 13:41Speaker 8: with Tyler, but the fact that the fact that that
- 13:45Speaker 8: doesn't get brought up is I do a weekly podcast
- 13:47Speaker 8: with him, So that's.
- 13:48Speaker 4: Why I know a lot about him, right, it makes sense.
- 13:51Speaker 1: So I apparently just.
- 13:53Speaker 8: Caused some drama between him and his mom because our podcast.
- 13:58Speaker 8: I posted online an AI video of Tyler like promoting like, hey,
- 14:03Speaker 8: we have a new episode out, but the AI video
- 14:06Speaker 8: is of Tyler getting slapped, so it says new episode
- 14:10Speaker 8: out now, and it's a video in this AI hand
- 14:13Speaker 8: goes across his face and slaps him across the face.
- 14:16Speaker 9: Does it actually look like he's getting slapped?
- 14:18Speaker 1: It does, but it's really bad.
- 14:20Speaker 7: Are you gonna cost.
- 14:21Speaker 9: Us our banana bread plug?
- 14:22Speaker 1: Because I don't know.
- 14:24Speaker 8: That's why I want to do a deep dive. That's
- 14:25Speaker 8: why I want to bring Tyler back in now. Tyler,
- 14:28Speaker 8: is your mom still mad about that video? Or does
- 14:30Speaker 8: she still think it's real?
- 14:32Speaker 6: Okay, she wasn't mad. She definitely thought it was real.
- 14:36Speaker 6: So she texted me yesterday and she's like, are you busy?
- 14:40Speaker 6: I said, yeah, I'm working. She's just like, what's where's
- 14:43Speaker 6: the slapping video from? He's like, what are you talking about?
- 14:46Speaker 6: And she's like the video that men is supposted? Like
- 14:48Speaker 6: where is that from? Like how did that happen? I'm like, Mom,
- 14:50Speaker 6: it's Ai.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Yeah, what are you talking about? I don't know?
- 14:53Speaker 6: And then she texts me it's clearly in our living group.
- 14:57Speaker 1: So the video, Okay, I'll show you the video.
- 15:00Speaker 8: It's the video Tyler and he's wearing a Houston Astros
- 15:04Speaker 8: cowboy hat.
- 15:05Speaker 6: It's one of those big foam cowboys.
- 15:08Speaker 1: It's in.
- 15:11Speaker 6: It's sitting in my closset.
- 15:13Speaker 1: You shouldn't have been that. You should have said that
- 15:14Speaker 1: was Ai. But but yeah, here's the man. Like, see
- 15:19Speaker 1: if I can pull it up where it doesn't give
- 15:21Speaker 1: away the slap just yet.
- 15:22Speaker 4: It just seems like something you could have cleared up
- 15:24Speaker 4: within three seconds. She's upset about it. You tell her
- 15:26Speaker 4: it's a I story done with her right there?
- 15:30Speaker 9: Wait a second, see that again.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Okay, here we go. That's yeah. But there's one really
- 15:36Speaker 1: odd You can tell that it's a I.
- 15:40Speaker 9: But I'll just explain why.
- 15:42Speaker 7: Well, the slap is going one way and Tyler's head
- 15:46Speaker 7: also his.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Freaking left arm disappears. I told you it's really bad AI.
- 15:53Speaker 6: On top of that, like the guy like whoever's slapping me,
- 15:55Speaker 6: Like the hand just flips over like mid slap.
- 15:57Speaker 1: It's very weird.
- 15:58Speaker 7: But parents and grandparents especially, they just don't know.
- 16:02Speaker 1: The new show.
- 16:03Speaker 6: Okay, so that that takes me back to a few
- 16:05Speaker 6: months ago. I'm visiting my parents at the house and
- 16:08Speaker 6: my dad calls me over. He's like, oh, look at
- 16:10Speaker 6: this video I found, and it's a gorilla just beating
- 16:13Speaker 6: the hell out of an alligator but putting like legit
- 16:17Speaker 6: WW style moves on him.
- 16:19Speaker 3: And I look at my dad.
- 16:20Speaker 6: I'm like, Dad, that's AI.
- 16:22Speaker 1: He's like, no, it's not.
- 16:23Speaker 6: I'm like, Dad, go to the comment section. I guarantee
- 16:26Speaker 6: you it's AI. First comment is from the guy who
- 16:28Speaker 6: made it. I had such a fun time using AI
- 16:30Speaker 6: and all this O my.
- 16:31Speaker 1: God, guys, Yeah, no, it's bad.
- 16:34Speaker 7: Man, I get more confused by the simpler stuff, like
- 16:36Speaker 7: why would anyone bother to do this? This must be real,
- 16:39Speaker 7: like oh, this kitt is climbing up a giraffe Like okay,
- 16:42Speaker 7: but who would think to do something so stupid?
- 16:44Speaker 14: I know.
- 16:45Speaker 8: And what's terrible is the place where it's rampant with
- 16:48Speaker 8: AI is Facebook, and where is older people?
- 16:54Speaker 1: It's legit and bad.
- 16:55Speaker 8: My mom was showing some photos like, oh, my my
- 16:58Speaker 8: friend took a private jet flight and I look at
- 17:03Speaker 8: I look at the photos and now I don't know
- 17:05Speaker 8: if the friend is telling her that they actually legit
- 17:07Speaker 8: won our private jet flight or they were just joking,
- 17:11Speaker 8: but she was showing to their show. My mom was
- 17:14Speaker 8: showing me the photos as if they were real. Yeah,
- 17:18Speaker 8: you know, the hard to tell hers because I didn't
- 17:20Speaker 8: know the backstory.
- 17:21Speaker 7: Well, the other one that they love right now is
- 17:23Speaker 7: like I don't know why I'm getting assaulted with these
- 17:26Speaker 7: in my Instagram feed.
- 17:27Speaker 9: But like nurses and.
- 17:28Speaker 7: Scrubs that are apparently like world class champion dancers.
- 17:33Speaker 9: They're all doing the same dance and they.
- 17:34Speaker 7: All look the same doing it, but they're all, you guys,
- 17:37Speaker 7: they they're just moonlighting as nurses but they're obviously dance
- 17:40Speaker 7: fund the dances. Yeah, I don't know why we do
- 17:43Speaker 7: this and why everybody falls for it.
- 17:45Speaker 8: Now, Greg, you have older parents, I do. Do they
- 17:49Speaker 8: stay offline? Do they get full by AI at all?
- 17:52Speaker 4: My dad has a Facebook page, but he doesn't go
- 17:54Speaker 4: on it all. He uses it for excuse me, is
- 17:57Speaker 4: when people comment on something, were post a photo, he'll
- 18:01Speaker 4: get an email, No, Gina posted a photo, and then
- 18:05Speaker 4: he'll just like, look at the photo and that's it.
- 18:07Speaker 1: So he treats it.
- 18:08Speaker 4: Almost like a like Instagram by proxy, right, because he
- 18:12Speaker 4: just gets notified. So they won't fall victim to AI
- 18:15Speaker 4: videos because they're not on Instagram, they're not on Facebook,
- 18:18Speaker 4: they're not opening attachments on emails or whatever.
- 18:21Speaker 8: My mom's on Facebook all the time and she sends
- 18:24Speaker 8: me frenchy AI video.
- 18:26Speaker 1: I'm like, do you think these are real?
- 18:29Speaker 4: Well, if you look at the Tyler one for five seconds,
- 18:31Speaker 4: you know I'm not a big physics buff or anything.
- 18:33Speaker 4: But when a left hand comes at you and hits
- 18:36Speaker 4: you on the right side of your face, your face
- 18:38Speaker 4: doesn't go launching to the less.
- 18:39Speaker 7: That's what I was so confused about with Tyler's.
- 18:41Speaker 6: Mom and it doesn't even look like you really, mom,
- 18:44Speaker 6: I love you, but come on, come on.
- 18:47Speaker 7: Well the other thing is and you guys wouldn't know this,
- 18:50Speaker 7: but the kids have the opposite problem, and this is
- 18:53Speaker 7: driving me insane. Every video, normal video, regular, real life
- 18:58Speaker 7: based video. I show my kid fake no yeah, like no,
- 19:02Speaker 7: like nothing's real. Everybody they know better than everyone.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:06Speaker 8: And then what's also sad is people that I know
- 19:08Speaker 8: that shouldn't be got by AI are getting got by AI.
- 19:12Speaker 8: You know, like young in the real house that you
- 19:15Speaker 8: are aware of all this kind of stuff. Ye, you're
- 19:17Speaker 8: still getting gone.
- 19:18Speaker 7: But in people's defense, it's really good.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:22Speaker 1: True.
- 19:22Speaker 11: I think it's the best when parents discover AI for themselves.
- 19:26Speaker 11: My dad randomly sent me a picture of my dog
- 19:29Speaker 11: at like Fenway Park, dress Like, what is this? I'm like,
- 19:34Speaker 11: dad discovered AI settle in that's pretty harmless.
- 19:39Speaker 4: But I've been asking the question for ten years when
- 19:41Speaker 4: we have the mente excuse generator and you want to
- 19:44Speaker 4: skip work, and he once proposed, oh, take a picture
- 19:48Speaker 4: or google crutches leaning against wall in bedroom, and then
- 19:52Speaker 4: you send that to your boss and say, hey.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Broke my foot, can you come to work? Yeah?
- 19:56Speaker 4: I've always questioned who put that on Google?
- 19:59Speaker 14: To be with?
- 20:00Speaker 4: Like when you say, what's the purpose of a nurse
- 20:03Speaker 4: and a dancing video?
- 20:04Speaker 1: Why?
- 20:05Speaker 4: Why would anybody google like milk cartons sitting on floor.
- 20:11Speaker 4: I guarantee you'll find it.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Who put it there? And why? Photo?
- 20:17Speaker 4: It's bizarre? Now what do they call the metaphorse?
- 20:20Speaker 1: But I'm gonna take this video of Tyler gain slapped.
- 20:23Speaker 8: I'm going to put it on the Woody Show Instagram
- 20:26Speaker 8: story so people can see it for them.
- 20:28Speaker 4: Tell right, and then hashtag workplaces, violence.
- 20:32Speaker 7: Work environment.
- 20:33Speaker 1: But yeah, a little explanation on why I know so
- 20:36Speaker 1: much about Tyler.
- 20:37Speaker 4: We do have a podcast. Well, it's also unfair in
- 20:40Speaker 4: this room, the narratives that could put on people. You
- 20:42Speaker 4: have a friend and Tyler, you work together, you do
- 20:45Speaker 4: a podcast together, and then quote eure Ue says, I
- 20:48Speaker 4: actually just it's just snowball in here. I listened to
- 20:52Speaker 4: what he says. Yeah, crazy, Wow, it's like you're a
- 20:56Speaker 4: stalker and we're back here on the Woody Show. You're
- 21:02Speaker 4: just joining us. Woody will be back tomorrow. He's off today.
- 21:06Speaker 4: It's Greg, Gina Menas, Sammy, everybody else is at Woody
- 21:10Speaker 4: Show headquarters. This morning before the week gets too old
- 21:14Speaker 4: and before I forget to tell you. And that's the
- 21:16Speaker 4: whole point, is me forgetting. I have a weird not confession,
- 21:20Speaker 4: but something that happened to me when we were getting
- 21:23Speaker 4: ready for Woody Show prom this past weekend. All right,
- 21:26Speaker 4: this was scary. You know how I always say that
- 21:28Speaker 4: I think that I'm getting like early onset dementia.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Yes, I've heard that, So this was.
- 21:34Speaker 4: Legit scary to me because well, I don't know if
- 21:38Speaker 4: the if the women in the room have ever tried
- 21:41Speaker 4: to put a tie on, but menace, you've put a
- 21:43Speaker 4: tie on before, Yes, a thousand times. I've put on
- 21:47Speaker 4: a tie ten thousand times. Weddings, funerals, you name it, proms.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Whatever, Getting a bank loan, yeah, getting a bank loan.
- 21:54Speaker 4: You're always putting on a tie trying to look your best.
- 21:57Speaker 4: So sometimes, ladies, when you're putting on a tie, you
- 22:00Speaker 4: put the big, wider part on the right and you
- 22:03Speaker 4: put the thinner part on the left, and you have
- 22:05Speaker 4: to make the wider part that will be in the
- 22:07Speaker 4: front of the tie a lot longer than the left side.
- 22:12Speaker 4: And then once you flip it, wrap it around, flip
- 22:15Speaker 4: it over again. Pull it up through the tie and
- 22:18Speaker 4: then stick it through the little you know opening that
- 22:21Speaker 4: you've made, pull it down and then you tighten it. Well,
- 22:23Speaker 4: I'm getting ready for the prom and the back part
- 22:27Speaker 4: of the tie is too long, so I undo it,
- 22:29Speaker 4: do it again. Back part still visible, too long, So
- 22:33Speaker 4: then I overcompensate. I make the front part of the
- 22:35Speaker 4: tie way too long. It's like below my zipper. So
- 22:39Speaker 4: I'm retying my tie about eight or nine times, no exaggeration,
- 22:44Speaker 4: So I want to get it perfect.
- 22:46Speaker 7: On try.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Let's say number nine. I said, Okay, I gotta get
- 22:50Speaker 4: this right. I think I can do it. I forgot
- 22:53Speaker 4: how to tie a tie. I had just done it
- 22:55Speaker 4: nine times, so I get on YouTube because I kept
- 22:59Speaker 4: doing it and.
- 23:00Speaker 1: I was doing it wrong.
- 23:01Speaker 4: Whoa, and I'm talking like it wasn't like I arrived
- 23:06Speaker 4: and oh time to get dressed. Oh crap, how do
- 23:08Speaker 4: I tie tie? I had just been doing it for
- 23:10Speaker 4: ten minutes.
- 23:12Speaker 7: So that only makes me think of like if you
- 23:14Speaker 7: say a word enough times and then you forget the
- 23:16Speaker 7: meaning of it, like you forgot what a tie was.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Oh that's true. I'm about to blow your mind. I
- 23:21Speaker 1: hope you're in the same boat because I was fine
- 23:24Speaker 1: with my tie, but who was staying with me?
- 23:27Speaker 8: Tyler and Nacho my wife, right yeah, and she was
- 23:32Speaker 8: wearing an oversized suit for the party, right, So I
- 23:35Speaker 8: had to tie their ties.
- 23:36Speaker 4: Okay, I was gonna say, your wife was wearing a tie.
- 23:39Speaker 8: Yeah, So I did my tie fine, I did her
- 23:42Speaker 8: tie fine, And then I got to Tyler, and I
- 23:44Speaker 8: kept on getting the length wrong, just like you, right, yes,
- 23:47Speaker 8: And then after the fourth try, I forgot how to
- 23:51Speaker 8: do it.
- 23:52Speaker 16: No, y.
- 23:54Speaker 1: At the exact same time, are you okay good?
- 23:57Speaker 4: I mean not good but weird?
- 23:59Speaker 8: Yeah, there was a rip in the dimension that we
- 24:02Speaker 8: were something. But then it took me a second.
- 24:04Speaker 1: I'm like, wait a minute, wait, how do I do this?
- 24:07Speaker 17: Yeah?
- 24:08Speaker 8: And then it took me a second, uh, probably like
- 24:11Speaker 8: two minutes to re remember how to tie the tie,
- 24:14Speaker 8: even though you had just been doing it, just been
- 24:15Speaker 8: doing I did two other.
- 24:18Speaker 10: You didn't even do the other ones wrong. They came
- 24:20Speaker 10: out they were done.
- 24:21Speaker 1: That is so weird.
- 24:22Speaker 4: And in the same boat, I was doing it. This
- 24:25Speaker 4: is too long, let me redo it up. The front
- 24:27Speaker 4: is too long, let me redo it. And then boom, wait, yeah,
- 24:30Speaker 4: how do you like? I can't so weird.
- 24:33Speaker 8: How many jobs I had that I had to tie
- 24:36Speaker 8: a tie? I know how to do it, like I
- 24:38Speaker 8: when I sold TVs, when I sold cell phones, when
- 24:40Speaker 8: I worked at a audio visual company, at a hotel,
- 24:44Speaker 8: how to wear a tie every day? And then in
- 24:46Speaker 8: that moment, at the same time as you, I forgot
- 24:50Speaker 8: the same hotel.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Oh my god, this is bizarre. Supposed to make out?
- 24:55Speaker 12: Right?
- 24:55Speaker 4: Now?
- 24:56Speaker 1: What happens? Mind? Blow? Do we explode?
- 24:58Speaker 4: I just saw this thing this morning that if you
- 25:00Speaker 4: want to decrease the risk of dementia, yes, and I'm
- 25:03Speaker 4: not This isn't stolen valor. I'm not saying, oh, we
- 25:06Speaker 4: have dementia. I'm just pointing out a weird twilight zone
- 25:09Speaker 4: thing that happened to us. You got to eat more
- 25:11Speaker 4: leafy green vegetables, more fatty fish, and more blueberries.
- 25:16Speaker 1: You always hear good stuff.
- 25:18Speaker 9: There's superfoods.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:19Speaker 7: I just looked up what would cause this this rift
- 25:22Speaker 7: in the time? You know dimension that you guys had, right,
- 25:26Speaker 7: I don't know if any of these apply to you.
- 25:28Speaker 7: The first one is working memory glitches. So were you
- 25:30Speaker 7: distracted in the middle of it?
- 25:32Speaker 1: No, it's just fo were you.
- 25:34Speaker 7: Super tired always?
- 25:36Speaker 9: And did you have some sort of medication problem? Then
- 25:41Speaker 9: I have no idea what happened.
- 25:42Speaker 4: We were just mind melding weird, weird, crazy trip out
- 25:48Speaker 4: show and we're back here on the Woody Show.
- 25:53Speaker 6: There's about forty seven people in this room.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Yes, it's awesome. Well, you forget how much what he
- 25:58Speaker 1: does to keep this thing up, floats.
- 26:00Speaker 4: Getting all the plates. Greg Gory here, Menace and Sammy
- 26:05Speaker 4: and Sea Bass, Sport, Morgan Benji, everybody, everybody Sea Bass
- 26:10Speaker 4: is actually live in studio.
- 26:12Speaker 1: What a treat. I'm luckier.
- 26:14Speaker 4: You all so lucky back from New York. What were
- 26:17Speaker 4: your cheers and jeers about New York? I'm wondering if
- 26:20Speaker 4: you haven't cheers.
- 26:21Speaker 2: But what could your cheers?
- 26:23Speaker 1: The best city in the world. Oh yeah, well hold
- 26:25Speaker 1: on that for a second. I will say cheers to Walmart. Menace.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I know you're a big Walmart fan, all easy. I
- 26:32Speaker 1: love Walmart as well, and it has its downsides well
- 26:35Speaker 1: documented obviously, but it is everywhere. It's open almost all
- 26:39Speaker 1: the time. You can get anything you want for cheap there,
- 26:42Speaker 1: and I think this is something I feel like this
- 26:44Speaker 1: is something Greg might have done. So the hotel that
- 26:47Speaker 1: I was at the first couple of days when I
- 26:49Speaker 1: was broadcasting initially to you all, I destroyed the toilet.
- 26:55Speaker 1: O god, wow, just it was.
- 27:00Speaker 7: It was too much New York pie.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Right, it was just flushing. Was not going to do anything.
- 27:07Speaker 1: But I had I was in New Jersey, so I
- 27:09Speaker 1: had a rental car, and there's things around you when
- 27:12Speaker 1: you're not in New York City Manhattan. I went over
- 27:14Speaker 1: to Walmart and they had the same spray that I
- 27:17Speaker 1: use at home, consistency, the same stuff for super cheap.
- 27:20Speaker 1: And I was like, I'm going to spend two dollars
- 27:22Speaker 1: and seventy nine cents to not have to look at
- 27:24Speaker 1: that disaster zone.
- 27:27Speaker 4: So you cleaned it yourself, basically, right exactly, which.
- 27:29Speaker 1: I feel it something that Greg would have done.
- 27:31Speaker 8: Or a hotel now, absolutely, I have gone to a
- 27:36Speaker 8: store and bought cleaning supplies, maybe chloral in.
- 27:39Speaker 4: I think like, when you have toilet shrapnel, let's call
- 27:44Speaker 4: it at a hotel, it's so mortified, embarrassing.
- 27:47Speaker 7: You don't live there, it's your face. It's your perfect crime, Greg,
- 27:50Speaker 7: because you are literally a businessman on.
- 27:52Speaker 4: A trip and you'll never be bad, true, But another
- 27:55Speaker 4: human being, the maid is going to walk in and
- 27:57Speaker 4: I'm going to be the disgusting animal. You've gone so
- 28:00Speaker 4: far as to take toilet paper and make a big
- 28:01Speaker 4: water of it and use my hand.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Yes, I was considering doing that, Greg, but this was
- 28:07Speaker 1: this was beyond that. I do feel bad though, Like
- 28:10Speaker 1: a Blumhouse movie, what do you do.
- 28:13Speaker 8: Do something disgusting in your hotel room and then you're like, Okay,
- 28:16Speaker 8: I'm good, I'm gonna leave now. And then you go
- 28:19Speaker 8: out in the hallway and there the cleaning people are
- 28:21Speaker 8: standing there.
- 28:22Speaker 1: There's no there's no the anonymity is gone, like, oh,
- 28:25Speaker 1: that's a disgusting pig right there in the wrong room.
- 28:30Speaker 1: I did that. I had the same I mean not
- 28:32Speaker 1: to start this off on a totally scatological note, but
- 28:35Speaker 1: it was during the pandemic. I was in San Antonio
- 28:39Speaker 1: to see Shane Gillis back before right before he blew
- 28:41Speaker 1: up real big, and I did. I didn't crap my
- 28:45Speaker 1: pants because I wasn't wearing any underwear. I crapped the
- 28:48Speaker 1: carpet first of all, walking around naked.
- 28:54Speaker 7: Are you bottomless?
- 28:55Speaker 4: Yes?
- 28:56Speaker 1: It was because I would just got off the showers
- 28:59Speaker 1: and it was the tiniest'll you know, uh spurt right
- 29:02Speaker 1: like like a less than a bird on your car.
- 29:04Speaker 1: But it was the same effect. Yeah, and that I
- 29:08Speaker 1: was able to did the same thing, grab the twit
- 29:09Speaker 1: TP when it slightly first try first, first pass, dry,
- 29:13Speaker 1: second past, slightly wet, third pass, kind of give the
- 29:16Speaker 1: little scrubby scrub because I remember one, don't want to
- 29:18Speaker 1: step in that. You're like a poppy exactly. God, So
- 29:23Speaker 1: cheers to Walmart for being consistent and there for you
- 29:26Speaker 1: when you need it.
- 29:27Speaker 4: So you got spray and brush, Well I didn't.
- 29:29Speaker 1: I didn't get a brush. Actually it was it was
- 29:31Speaker 1: of such a loose consistency that.
- 29:36Speaker 6: Then just get it.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Hitting with the spray two three times, it sort of
- 29:38Speaker 1: ran off. Okay, dam I think speak of your favorite
- 29:42Speaker 1: your your your personal hero. Greg tom Segura his one
- 29:44Speaker 1: of his one of his prior comedy specials, he talks
- 29:47Speaker 1: about that where like he's in there and his he
- 29:50Speaker 1: walks out talking to his wife and he's like and
- 29:53Speaker 1: she's like, what the hell did you just doing there?
- 29:55Speaker 1: It's like I thought every person just fully sprayed and
- 29:59Speaker 1: obliterated the twilet every time.
- 30:00Speaker 4: Right, Like diarrhea is the baseline when you're like.
- 30:05Speaker 1: When you're a man and you have the sometimes bad
- 30:07Speaker 1: diets that we do. You're not You're not Sami consistent with.
- 30:10Speaker 1: It's just it's it's a disgusting disaster every much.
- 30:15Speaker 4: It wouldn't be a terrible idea for hotels to have,
- 30:19Speaker 4: like the guest supply closet.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Steal all that. Well, here's this hotel would have been
- 30:27Speaker 1: perfect for what Greg's saying with supply closet, because I
- 30:29Speaker 1: was staying in a residence in which already has half
- 30:32Speaker 1: a kitchen there. They've gotten they've got it, they've got
- 30:35Speaker 1: dishwashing where. Yeah, a residence in New York City. Sorry,
- 30:42Speaker 1: r I P. If you be careful, if you're in
- 30:44Speaker 1: room four nine, you'll need some for an So it's interesting.
- 30:50Speaker 1: So I had this bottle of club you know, bleach
- 30:52Speaker 1: spray that I then left at the next hotel, just
- 30:55Speaker 1: like in the bathroom. That's nice. Yeah, that's sure. She's like,
- 30:58Speaker 1: what the hell how would this be?
- 30:59Speaker 7: And cart I just want to say, though we're keeping score,
- 31:02Speaker 7: there's still no cheers to do.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Yark well, cheer, that's true. I will say cheers to
- 31:07Speaker 1: I will say cheers to most of New Jersey, Long Island,
- 31:11Speaker 1: et cetera. Because this is a this is you know,
- 31:13Speaker 1: a backhanded g are quite frankly, because both LaGuardia and
- 31:17Speaker 1: JFK the airports in New York are not close to Manhattan. No, well,
- 31:22Speaker 1: I mean as the bird as the crow flies. They're
- 31:23Speaker 1: two three miles. But to get to let's say you
- 31:26Speaker 1: want it, You're, you're, you're into the You're in Times
- 31:28Speaker 1: Square Broadway for the weekend, you're gonna see a show.
- 31:31Speaker 1: You land in either of those airports, it's a good
- 31:34Speaker 1: better part of an hour to get anywhere close to
- 31:35Speaker 1: Manhattan on a good day, on a good day. And
- 31:38Speaker 1: let's talk about either uber or trains, because you're you're, you're,
- 31:42Speaker 1: you're taking transfers and you're getting from one thing to
- 31:43Speaker 1: the other, Like how they didn't at some point one
- 31:46Speaker 1: hundred years ago just get a direct line. We're gonna
- 31:48Speaker 1: put on an airport here and airport there. And they
- 31:50Speaker 1: love trains, Yeah, they love trains. And you rented a car.
- 31:53Speaker 1: I rented a car because I was driving. I was
- 31:56Speaker 1: trying to do some card marketing. It didn't get around
- 31:58Speaker 1: to it. But also I also thought, that's why I
- 32:00Speaker 1: rented a car, because I landed in JFK and I
- 32:04Speaker 1: knew I'm going to be I need to be in
- 32:05Speaker 1: Manhattan for the Knicks games to do that stuff. But again,
- 32:08Speaker 1: that's a fifteen minute plus thing with luggage, which is
- 32:11Speaker 1: so I was like, not rent a car. I'll drive
- 32:13Speaker 1: to New Jersey. That's about an hour and my life's easy.
- 32:16Speaker 4: Cheers to you for doing that. Because I haven't been
- 32:18Speaker 4: to New York since I was a baby. I have
- 32:20Speaker 4: not been there as an adult.
- 32:21Speaker 1: It hasn't changed I have and the thought of driving there.
- 32:26Speaker 4: I know, maybe it's a mental thing because of the
- 32:28Speaker 4: movies and the TV shows. It would give me parably
- 32:30Speaker 4: you could.
- 32:31Speaker 1: I couldn't do it when I lived there. I never drive.
- 32:33Speaker 1: It is because I drove it. I drove through Midtown
- 32:35Speaker 1: Manhattan twice. And it's during and one of the times
- 32:39Speaker 1: with us with presidential security, so that supper sucks. But yeah,
- 32:43Speaker 1: there's people everywhere. The people don't obey the crosswalks, so
- 32:46Speaker 1: you're constantly afraid you're gonna hit somebody. There's bikes and
- 32:49Speaker 1: e bikes zoom and by you know, yeah, I heard
- 32:52Speaker 1: the scooter drama's crazy. Well yeah, they because they don't
- 32:55Speaker 1: have they don't have rental scooters, but they do have
- 32:57Speaker 1: people have personal scooters of course, and they're just zipping
- 32:59Speaker 1: through all the.
- 33:00Speaker 9: Where are they with wamos?
- 33:02Speaker 1: I don't think it's Yeah, I mean because I've taken
- 33:05Speaker 1: waymos in tight areas, but it's they'd be paralyzed in
- 33:08Speaker 1: New York. Yeah, there's just too much going on. Yeah,
- 33:09Speaker 1: and people jump on them and so cheers, cheers, you know,
- 33:16Speaker 1: and jeers. Though to speaking of JFK, the police at JFK,
- 33:21Speaker 1: you are terrible. No offense. Sorry, I know, I know.
- 33:25Speaker 1: It's Greg's lane. So as I'm as I'm walking and
- 33:29Speaker 1: as I'm walking out to get on the train to
- 33:32Speaker 1: the rental car area overhead, they say there's a big
- 33:36Speaker 1: loud message I hear twice, do not accept unsolicited rides
- 33:40Speaker 1: from strangers. They will often overcharge you hundreds of dollars.
- 33:45Speaker 1: You know, please only go to the verified taxis or
- 33:47Speaker 1: the ride share pickup area. Very clear done. And as
- 33:51Speaker 1: course as I walk into the throughout, the security into
- 33:54Speaker 1: badge claim, who's sitting right there?
- 33:56Speaker 6: Uber?
- 33:56Speaker 1: Sir? You want the uber? Oh yeah, dude, who's sitting
- 33:59Speaker 1: right there?
- 33:59Speaker 8: That happens music festivals too, like Coachella Music Festival, the
- 34:02Speaker 8: uber area is full of drivers that have gotten out
- 34:06Speaker 8: of their car and.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Are blocking lanes. Blocking. Yeah, you know exactly what you're
- 34:10Speaker 1: talking about.
- 34:10Speaker 8: And I'm like, how do they have not fixed this
- 34:13Speaker 8: yet where they just don't allow people to stand there
- 34:16Speaker 8: with like these little digital signs that because.
- 34:18Speaker 1: They know they that you need to go and they're
- 34:20Speaker 1: willing to charge their negotiating some kind of No. I'm
- 34:24Speaker 1: just saying, like, how do they like not kick yeah,
- 34:28Speaker 1: kick these people out? Yeah, in that case that's private property.
- 34:30Speaker 1: In this case, they know what's happening. They're they're telling
- 34:32Speaker 1: me in the overhead this is a warning, and you're
- 34:34Speaker 1: standing they're allowing them to be there.
- 34:36Speaker 6: So I what do I do?
- 34:38Speaker 1: What do sea past be doing? Always be calling the cops? ABCC?
- 34:41Speaker 1: I called the non I looked I looked up on
- 34:43Speaker 1: super Fast, looked it up on grack. Hey, what's the
- 34:45Speaker 1: non emergency JFK police number? Called that guys. Hey, how's
- 34:49Speaker 1: it going with you?
- 34:50Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 34:50Speaker 1: Classic, you know what you need a pie?
- 34:54Speaker 3: Right?
- 34:54Speaker 1: Say?
- 34:54Speaker 16: Hey?
- 34:55Speaker 1: I met a terminal five right between ditage claim three
- 34:57Speaker 1: and four? Is a guy uh uh doing unslicited to uber?
- 35:00Speaker 1: And I thought you guys should probably know about that
- 35:02Speaker 1: you're the victim of a crime. Yeah, yeah, stroke, Why
- 35:06Speaker 1: are you calling me n my way? Well no, I
- 35:09Speaker 1: I no, No, I'm just telling you. I literally just
- 35:12Speaker 1: heard you. Guys don't like the assaiance is illegal and
- 35:15Speaker 1: and and leads to scams, and they're praying on stupid
- 35:17Speaker 1: and vulnerable tourists. He's like, so, wait, so you didn't
- 35:21Speaker 1: get assaulted or anything like, No, you literally don't want
- 35:25Speaker 1: this to have happen. Would you like a description of
- 35:27Speaker 1: the guy? No, No, we'll find him.
- 35:29Speaker 9: He's just so infused.
- 35:32Speaker 1: It's just crazy because it's so blame right. Yeah, And
- 35:35Speaker 1: it's just like they don't do anything about it, right
- 35:37Speaker 1: And they'll tell you they don't want to do something
- 35:40Speaker 1: about they're warning you. But the given the chance to enforce,
- 35:43Speaker 1: give this guy a ticket, make this guy's life a
- 35:45Speaker 1: little bit harder because he again, he's he's praying on people.
- 35:47Speaker 1: He's making life hard. He's making the impression of your
- 35:50Speaker 1: city worse. I don't see cops running around, you know,
- 35:53Speaker 1: three and over three grabbing pickpockets. He clearly this was
- 35:56Speaker 1: you know, eleven thirty at night. He's not doing anything,
- 35:58Speaker 1: but I was. I was such an imposition to even
- 36:00Speaker 1: address the problem that they know exists. Yeah, they were
- 36:03Speaker 1: going to arrest you for a false police I was
- 36:05Speaker 1: given I was three or four times.
- 36:07Speaker 4: And then you don't want to lie and say, well,
- 36:09Speaker 4: I kind of was the victim of a crime.
- 36:10Speaker 6: Yeah, I think.
- 36:13Speaker 1: You had a knife. He was coming right for me,
- 36:17Speaker 1: I know for sure.
- 36:18Speaker 4: Well, without naming names, I know somebody who got in
- 36:20Speaker 4: a car crash it was a pretty serious car crash.
- 36:22Speaker 4: Called the police because that's what you're supposed to do
- 36:24Speaker 4: to get a report, and they said, well, we're not
- 36:26Speaker 4: going to come unless the other driver is drunk. So
- 36:29Speaker 4: as a citizen, am I supposed to do a breathalyzer
- 36:32Speaker 4: test on this person? I don't know.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, they look wasted and so yeah, it's just
- 36:39Speaker 1: like does nobody want to do their jobs anymore? Which
- 36:42Speaker 1: is a common thread on this cave. And no, it
- 36:44Speaker 1: comes to all kinds of stuff. I think we know
- 36:46Speaker 1: the answer that.
- 36:48Speaker 4: Uh, well, welcome back to see basket in one piece
- 36:50Speaker 4: and uh Gina grad has actually got some trending news
- 36:54Speaker 4: headlines coming up next here on The Woody Show. Next

- 37:06Speaker 8: Yeah, it's gonna rule. There's a twenty foot soccer ball
- 37:09Speaker 8: that you can take photos in front of. But also
- 37:11Speaker 8: that we're gonna be doing a giveaways so you can

- 37:21Speaker 8: Part ticket giveaways and concert ticket giveaways again one to
- 37:24Speaker 8: three pm Citadel Outlets this Saturday. Oh, speaking of soccer
- 37:29Speaker 8: real quick. Last night, I went to this Paris Saint
- 37:31Speaker 8: Germaine pop up thing and they're part of the European
- 37:35Speaker 8: Union League, right, but it was a World Cup event, right,
- 37:41Speaker 8: So I posted it and then people are in the comments,
- 37:43Speaker 8: they're like, this is not World Cup, blah blah. I'm like, dude,
- 37:46Speaker 8: they're having like watch parties at this event. Like people
- 37:49Speaker 8: are so like fans of anything, they will if you
- 37:53Speaker 8: post about what they're a fan of. Dude, look out
- 37:58Speaker 8: to clarify this for people like me. Paris Saint Germaine
- 38:01Speaker 8: I thought would be a fashion.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Brandot it's a soccer team. So it's a soccer team
- 38:08Speaker 1: in part of the European Union. They probably have players
- 38:11Speaker 1: in the World cup and.
- 38:12Speaker 4: Got I thought the same thing. Oh did you get
- 38:15Speaker 4: a hoodie from.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Their merch? Is pretty I bet it rules hard.
- 38:21Speaker 8: But I just want to shout out a couple of
- 38:23Speaker 8: other events that are going to be happening next weekend
- 38:26Speaker 8: or next next week that are pretty cool. There's gonna
- 38:29Speaker 8: be a Sega pop up store that's going to be
- 38:31Speaker 8: happening in Little Tokyo for like a month, So if
- 38:34Speaker 8: you're like in the nostalgia of Sega, like all Sega.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Games, to check that out.
- 38:39Speaker 8: And a teenage mutane Ninja Turtle pizza spot is opening
- 38:44Speaker 8: on Street Promenade.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Yeah, that's happening up or do we get to keep that?
- 38:50Speaker 4: No?
- 38:50Speaker 8: I think it's a permanent space. Yeah, so Third Street
- 38:53Speaker 8: Promenade where you know Sammy used to.
- 38:56Speaker 7: Live, Mutants wandering around and as dumb as that sounds,
- 39:02Speaker 7: remember but remember the beginning. You remember the opening credits
- 39:06Speaker 7: to teenagemt new tilS. How good that pizza look.
- 39:08Speaker 9: It's like gooey and the cheese pull Like.
- 39:10Speaker 7: If it's that good, I'll be I'll go.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:12Speaker 8: So this the guy that's like putting this all together.
- 39:15Speaker 8: He's probably of like some other chains, and the food
- 39:18Speaker 8: is always really really good.
- 39:19Speaker 7: So what's it called.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Yeah, just teenage Muni Ninja Turtle pizzeria, No, no legit.
- 39:26Speaker 1: It's got four point nine stars out of five.
- 39:29Speaker 8: N And then if you want to take a super
- 39:31Speaker 8: big road trip, the BUCkies also opens next week in Arizona.
- 39:38Speaker 1: We talked about BUCkies for years. You probably heard it. Yeah,
- 39:40Speaker 1: it's it's worth it. You don't have to fly all
- 39:42Speaker 1: the way to Texas. You can just drive six hours.
- 39:45Speaker 1: It's a good road trip. Good for kids. BUCkies. My
- 39:47Speaker 1: little nephews and nieces love BUCkies for everyone.
- 39:50Speaker 8: Yeah, but dude, the local news is covering it like
- 39:54Speaker 8: when it comes to the traffic, they're just like they're
- 39:58Speaker 8: acting like the president is well.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Good thing.
- 40:01Speaker 9: They have forty seven guests.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Pum, I'm saying, so that's a bunch of stuff that
- 40:04Speaker 1: you can do sweet this weekend and next weekend. Awesome.
- 40:07Speaker 12: Wow.
- 40:08Speaker 7: Now I feel like an idiot asking me all these questions.
- 40:12Speaker 10: Himmer is not there.
- 40:18Speaker 4: And to answer a text or no wood, he's not
- 40:20Speaker 4: in the hospital, he's got the day off.
- 40:22Speaker 1: He'll be back tomorrow. Let it ride if I mean,
- 40:25Speaker 1: I mean, start the room bots in prayer.
- 40:27Speaker 4: Get people tired. It is The Woody Show on a
- 40:30Speaker 4: Throwback Thursday, and Gina grad is here with your trending
- 40:33Speaker 4: news headlines.
- 40:34Speaker 7: Yeah, well, the New York Knicks are one game away
- 40:36Speaker 7: from their first championship in fifty three years after the
- 40:40Speaker 7: biggest comeback in NBA Finals history.
- 40:43Speaker 1: It's pretty fun, dude.
- 40:43Speaker 9: It was crazy.
- 40:45Speaker 7: This bur is led by as much as twenty nine
- 40:48Speaker 7: points in the second half and the next came all
- 40:50Speaker 7: the way back to win by a point. Game five
- 40:53Speaker 7: is Saturday in San Antonio. And speaking of Game five,
- 40:55Speaker 7: the Stanley Cup Final, Game five is tonight. The Carolina
- 40:58Speaker 7: Hurricanes and the Veiggas Night are tied two to two.
- 41:01Speaker 7: Plus World Cup starts today with Mexico versus South Africa
- 41:05Speaker 7: and later today South Korea versus Chechia. Chech do they
- 41:11Speaker 7: just change it?
- 41:11Speaker 1: I've heard that a lot of like the Czech Republic,
- 41:14Speaker 1: what's going on here?
- 41:14Speaker 7: Well, and that's the thing, because it's always Chechnia, But
- 41:17Speaker 7: then the people there are Chechens, right, and now it's Chechia.
- 41:20Speaker 4: And then my whole life it was Kiev.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Yeah, now it's Kiev.
- 41:24Speaker 7: Well, apparently the Ukrainians say Kiev and we've been saying
- 41:28Speaker 7: it the Russian way and people don't like that.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Also, is it clutter?
- 41:34Speaker 4: Kay's always supposed to keep up with Okay, celliography.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Apparently that happened. Apparently happened in twenty sixteen, didn't officially
- 41:40Speaker 1: change it the name the Czech Czech Republic, but rather
- 41:42Speaker 1: adopted Chechia as its short form English.
- 41:45Speaker 7: Okay, so South Korea versus Chechia.
- 41:48Speaker 1: And what's the expression?
- 41:49Speaker 4: I don't have a dog in this fight or a
- 41:50Speaker 4: horse in this race, tony in this outhouse. Yeah, so
- 41:53Speaker 4: I don't have a pony in this outh house. But
- 41:55Speaker 4: I'm bummed that the Knicks won last night. I have
- 41:57Speaker 4: no idea why I have zero reference to basketball.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Because Taylor Swift.
- 42:03Speaker 4: I think it's because of your coverage seas in New York.
- 42:06Speaker 1: They are the worst fans they. I mean, I know
- 42:09Speaker 1: Philly gets a bad rap, Boston gets a rap sometimes.
- 42:11Speaker 1: But that's why I went there, because we had heard
- 42:15Speaker 1: and we through these whole playoffs that these are just
- 42:17Speaker 1: they're looking for violence, looking to start a fight. You
- 42:21Speaker 1: saw there's the videos that you can find from at
- 42:23Speaker 1: least the game three. Who wants boring ass fans? Well,
- 42:28Speaker 1: that's that's not not the argument ranking. We're saying you
- 42:30Speaker 1: don't have to destroy landscaping. And literally, if someone wears
- 42:34Speaker 1: a Spurs Jersey or Manhattan, they will be beaten. They were.
- 42:38Speaker 1: There was a guy that got the ass, Guys who
- 42:40Speaker 1: got their ass kicked because and I saw this too,
- 42:43Speaker 1: because I was as I was amongst the thousands of them,
- 42:46Speaker 1: you know that they are just looking for a reason,
- 42:48Speaker 1: and you don't want to give them that reason because
- 42:50Speaker 1: once one guy starts something, one guy shoves you. That said,
- 42:53Speaker 1: the second guy behind you is going to give you
- 42:55Speaker 1: a soccer punch in the back of the head and
- 42:56Speaker 1: then it's over.
- 42:57Speaker 4: And I'm kno going to sport.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Well, that's what they do.
- 42:59Speaker 4: And I'm gonna use the synonym fun for ripping up landscaping.
- 43:03Speaker 4: I'm just not because gardening, because I love civility.
- 43:09Speaker 1: Tearing out street songs. There's a there's a guy who
- 43:11Speaker 1: ripped I was standing there as he was ripping that
- 43:13Speaker 1: street sign up looking behind me. There's there's fifty cops
- 43:15Speaker 1: behind me. They're not doing anything because there's five hundred
- 43:17Speaker 1: dudes ripping the streets sign and I just want to
- 43:18Speaker 1: be like, but I thought you loved New York.
- 43:22Speaker 4: And when it's a best of seven series in a
- 43:24Speaker 4: sport that you normally don't follow.
- 43:26Speaker 1: You want a game seven?
- 43:27Speaker 17: Right?
- 43:27Speaker 1: Well?
- 43:28Speaker 7: True, you guys know, have you heard the phrase cuteness aggression?
- 43:31Speaker 7: Like that's why we say like, oh my god, the
- 43:32Speaker 7: baby's so cute, I just want to chew him and
- 43:34Speaker 7: eat him. Like it's called cuteness aggression where it's like
- 43:36Speaker 7: it's something so cute it like overrides your ceircuit exactly.
- 43:41Speaker 4: Is that what this is?
- 43:42Speaker 7: Like I'm so excited, I don't know what to do
- 43:44Speaker 7: with my body, so I'm just gonna start hitting.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Being part of it is performative in that they they
- 43:49Speaker 1: doing it for the ground, right, there's there every there's
- 43:51Speaker 1: a dude. When I was there, they had a spurs hat.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Some guy was. Let you see these photos on the
- 43:56Speaker 1: Instagram this week and the gram and the WOODI Show
- 43:59Speaker 1: and the lightened it on fire, and there's fifty phones,
- 44:02Speaker 1: and everybody wants to be the dude lighting the spurs
- 44:04Speaker 1: head on fire because then there's fifty phones in and
- 44:07Speaker 1: the police are marching down thirty fourth Avenue clearing out
- 44:11Speaker 1: these rioters, and guess who's jumping in front to get
- 44:14Speaker 1: a selfie, every other dude jumping in front because they
- 44:17Speaker 1: it's a mob mentality slash mob for the gram because
- 44:19Speaker 1: they think they're going to be arrested. There are a
- 44:21Speaker 1: bunch of dudes that Morgan are trying to date, right.
- 44:25Speaker 10: Those guys looks a little young, that's true.
- 44:27Speaker 1: There was already some old that's that's a it's a
- 44:30Speaker 1: young it's a young man's game too. Yeah, wilding out
- 44:33Speaker 1: is the check on their dad.
- 44:34Speaker 10: Support it? I support it for sure, but yeah, I
- 44:36Speaker 10: bet they have some wild dads pull up those trees.
- 44:38Speaker 7: Also, well, Patrick Mahomes, he has hit the half billion mark.
- 44:43Speaker 9: The Chiefs are.
- 44:44Speaker 7: Adding two years to mahomes contract in a reworked contract
- 44:47Speaker 7: that gives him that keeps him with the Kansaity Chiefs
- 44:50Speaker 7: through twenty thirty three. The contract is worth almost five
- 44:54Speaker 7: hundred and five million dollars, So if you're wondering how
- 44:58Speaker 7: that average is out, it's about sixty four million a year.
- 45:00Speaker 7: That's a record, by.
- 45:01Speaker 1: The way, is they keep on getting bigger and bigger
- 45:04Speaker 1: every week. It's a new record.
- 45:05Speaker 14: I know.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Well, Steph Curry got that shoe deal. That's almost like
- 45:09Speaker 1: some billion dollars China.
- 45:12Speaker 7: Yeah, at the very least. That's like third party, Like,
- 45:15Speaker 7: what where are the caps on this stuff?
- 45:17Speaker 1: Well, they keep increasing because the TV money keeps increasing.
- 45:20Speaker 9: That's so crazy.
- 45:21Speaker 7: And also, having lived in Kansas City my entire life,
- 45:25Speaker 7: you can live really good in Kansas City.
- 45:27Speaker 1: For like one hundred thousand dollars.
- 45:29Speaker 9: This guy like literally runs the.
- 45:31Speaker 1: Midwest now well, and it also tells you how his
- 45:33Speaker 1: ACL is a healing because that's a big question. How's
- 45:36Speaker 1: he going to be? Yeah, right, apparently pretty good.
- 45:38Speaker 7: Well, three kids in Connecticut have died over the past
- 45:41Speaker 7: two months from apparent overdoses of anahistamine found in benadryl,
- 45:45Speaker 7: So now state officials are warning parents about this medication safety.
- 45:49Speaker 7: The Connecticut Office of the Child Advocate says that the
- 45:52Speaker 7: deaths are under investigation and stress that both prescription and
- 45:56Speaker 7: over the countermits can be dangerous if they're misused. And
- 45:58Speaker 7: this is all because of the ben a drill challenge.
- 46:03Speaker 7: So that's yeah, yeah, the kids are just discovering robo tripping.
- 46:07Speaker 7: It's a trend that dares people to take a bunch
- 46:09Speaker 7: of bena drill until they hallucinate.
- 46:11Speaker 1: So you know, don't do that, dude, What is going on. Yeah,
- 46:15Speaker 1: Little Wayne's like amen. Years ago.
- 46:19Speaker 7: I know somebody who stayed at our house for a
- 46:23Speaker 7: couple of nights a couple of years ago and made
- 46:25Speaker 7: himself a pre bed cocktail every night and it kind
- 46:29Speaker 7: of smelled weird, and I was wondering what it was,
- 46:31Speaker 7: and it was I guess it's scissor. It's ben a
- 46:34Speaker 7: drill and sprite. And that was a cocktail before bed.
- 46:39Speaker 1: I was it double cupping, was in a sty it
- 46:42Speaker 1: was in our.
- 46:42Speaker 9: Glass, it was in one of our cups.
- 46:43Speaker 1: I was like, what is that?
- 46:44Speaker 7: Yeah, I didn't know that was like, you know, like
- 46:46Speaker 7: warm milk.
- 46:47Speaker 8: Well, then they get seizures from that stuff too. Eventually
- 46:51Speaker 8: message with you. I was like, how does that screw
- 46:53Speaker 8: with you?
- 46:53Speaker 1: Apparently apparently it screws with your heart's electrical system, which, yeah, seizures.
- 46:59Speaker 9: Yeah, please don't do people, all right.
- 47:02Speaker 7: So, you know the Costco rotisserie chicken that like everyone
- 47:06Speaker 7: is obsessed with, Well, there's a problem with it, at
- 47:08Speaker 7: least according to a class action lawsuit out of Southern California.
- 47:11Speaker 7: So Costco is being accused of falsely claiming and I'm
- 47:14Speaker 7: glad we have a chemical engineer here. Oh, falsely claiming
- 47:18Speaker 7: that their famous four ninety nine rotisserie chicken contains no preservatives,
- 47:22Speaker 7: and the two California plaintiffs are saying, ah no, that's
- 47:25Speaker 7: misleading because it's not preservative free. It contains sodium and phosphate.
- 47:31Speaker 7: Sodium phosphate and karaginan.
- 47:35Speaker 1: I don't want no carrots up in there.
- 47:38Speaker 7: So Costco says that the lawsuit is flawed, that those
- 47:41Speaker 7: two additives are not defined as preservatives in FDA regulations.
- 47:46Speaker 7: But they've now removed the no preservatives label and the
- 47:49Speaker 7: chicken still flying off the shelf.
- 47:50Speaker 9: I don't think anybody, by the way, when I.
- 47:53Speaker 4: Hear karagin and I think ice cream, don't they put
- 47:55Speaker 4: that nice?
- 47:57Speaker 15: What it is?
- 47:57Speaker 1: It's a vegan stabilizer. So like gelatin is obviously made
- 48:01Speaker 1: from bones, that's not vegan, karraginan is made from seaweed.
- 48:06Speaker 1: Does the same thing, kind of thickens and stabilizes. Okay, right,
- 48:10Speaker 1: who knows what they do it for?
- 48:12Speaker 7: Yeah, proteins, But it's a preservative if that's what you're saying.
- 48:16Speaker 1: It's table. I mean, technically anything that's not flavor is
- 48:19Speaker 1: a preservative. So I guess they might have a point.
- 48:22Speaker 7: Well, they wanted to do a little work in it.
- 48:23Speaker 7: And I'm sure they were doing it for free too.
- 48:25Speaker 7: I don't think they wanted any compensation.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Oh wait, hey, cost Can we like to bring this
- 48:29Speaker 1: to your attention politely? Yeah, thank you. You you know
- 48:33Speaker 1: you're using this vegan thing that you probably think is harmless,
- 48:35Speaker 1: and it is in fact harmless. But just just you're
- 48:38Speaker 1: technically of the law.
- 48:39Speaker 7: I don't want to get the way.
- 48:42Speaker 1: Just no publicity. Just say thank us.
- 48:44Speaker 4: And now that they took no preservatives packaging off, I'm
- 48:47Speaker 4: sure they're going to say, cool, that's.
- 48:49Speaker 1: What we wanted.
- 48:49Speaker 7: Yeah, thank you very much.
- 48:51Speaker 9: This is how it's done.
- 48:52Speaker 1: None take care of now they send them a fruit basket.
- 48:59Speaker 7: Well, a couple of Kentucky came back from a work trip,
- 49:02Speaker 7: but they noticed one very important thing missing on their
- 49:05Speaker 7: ten acre property. So they own this small sort of
- 49:08Speaker 7: twenty six foot tiny house that they designed and built
- 49:11Speaker 7: from scratch, and it was gone. So and that's where
- 49:14Speaker 7: they lived.
- 49:14Speaker 15: By the way.
- 49:15Speaker 9: Turns out a group of thieves came over.
- 49:16Speaker 7: Pulled off the deck, cut the hitchlocks, took it off
- 49:19Speaker 7: its blocks, and just towed their house away with everything they.
- 49:22Speaker 1: Own inside of it.
- 49:24Speaker 7: And to make matters worse, the thieves also broke into
- 49:26Speaker 7: the tool shop on the property stole all the generators,
- 49:29Speaker 7: all the power tools, and to wrap it all up,
- 49:31Speaker 7: the couple didn't have insurance on the home because is
- 49:34Speaker 7: it really a home, so they are totally ish out
- 49:37Speaker 7: of luck for now. They're just pulling a sea bass
- 49:40Speaker 7: and they're living in a trailer while they wait for
- 49:41Speaker 7: cops to find their house.
- 49:44Speaker 1: Trailer. Like, I love the tiny homes that are, you know, permanent,
- 49:48Speaker 1: but the ones that are I think they're dumb stupid.
- 49:52Speaker 8: But I like the ones that are like like for
- 49:54Speaker 8: reals houses, like the ones that are all pimped out.
- 49:57Speaker 1: I didn't.
- 49:57Speaker 4: Yeah, I would like to see one in real life something.
- 50:00Speaker 7: Well, there's on your favorite channel, on the dentist office
- 50:03Speaker 7: channel everywhere.
- 50:04Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's like where are they?
- 50:07Speaker 9: Yeah, where do well? I guess they're so small. We
- 50:09Speaker 9: just passed the movie.
- 50:09Speaker 1: Actually i've driven by, and I took not a tour tour,
- 50:12Speaker 1: but I drove through. It was Oregon, somewhere where they
- 50:15Speaker 1: had a community, like a little village, and I like,
- 50:18Speaker 1: check that out. It was like it was like a
- 50:20Speaker 1: nicer trailer park.
- 50:20Speaker 8: Well, there's a lot of places you can't even get
- 50:22Speaker 8: them built because it's too affordable, and they don't want that.
- 50:25Speaker 7: It's too affordable, and so they won't let you.
- 50:27Speaker 1: Yeah, no, no, because I have I have a buddy
- 50:31Speaker 1: in Oregon that builds these things.
- 50:33Speaker 9: That's crazy. Well, okay, let me know if this is
- 50:36Speaker 9: just me or if you were also like this as
- 50:38Speaker 9: a child?
- 50:38Speaker 7: Was there anything more like magical that like sparked your
- 50:42Speaker 7: imagination and creativity more than like driving down the highway
- 50:45Speaker 7: and seeing a truck bed with a house on it?
- 50:49Speaker 7: Is that exciting for anyone else?
- 50:52Speaker 15: Like that?
- 50:53Speaker 4: Says wide load. You mean when they move an actual house,
- 50:58Speaker 4: it's pretty crazy and.
- 50:58Speaker 1: It's like cut in half. And sometimes yeah, that's true.
- 51:01Speaker 1: We'll say this. Tiny homes are a great example of
- 51:04Speaker 1: branding because trailer homes trashy grows you, tiny home.
- 51:10Speaker 7: Gentrified.
- 51:11Speaker 1: I took my girlfriend from college home into Tennessee one time.
- 51:15Speaker 1: My friends had a trailer out on his dad's property.
- 51:19Speaker 1: She wouldn't sleep there because it was a trailer I'm
- 51:22Speaker 1: not saying any trailer house. She was dumping. Shortly thereafter,
- 51:28Speaker 1: Well that's what's going on, everybody, Thank you, gin I
- 51:32Speaker 1: could barely remember to open my mouth when I'm eating.
- 51:35Speaker 1: Like you think I'm gonna remember to bring a canvas
- 51:37Speaker 1: bags at your I don't think you're gonna remember somehow.
- 51:41Speaker 4: And we are back here on your Thursday Morning Woody Show.
- 51:44Speaker 8: Yeah, and uh, we were recovering the news. But I
- 51:47Speaker 8: don't know if you saw the big news yesterday America
- 51:51Speaker 8: we're getting new sunscreen.
- 51:53Speaker 4: Huh did you hear about this sunscreen?
- 51:56Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 51:56Speaker 8: So, I guess there was like some type of sunscreen
- 51:59Speaker 8: that has not been improved in America in the past
- 52:02Speaker 8: twenty years, but everywhere else in like throughout Asia and
- 52:04Speaker 8: the UK, and now it's been approved and we're gonna
- 52:08Speaker 8: get the same sunscreen as that.
- 52:10Speaker 1: It's an ingredient of menace. If you want to google
- 52:12Speaker 1: and just to try to pronounce or pronounce the ingredients.
- 52:15Speaker 7: Oh god, oh yeah, I'd like it starts to be yeah, yeah,
- 52:19Speaker 7: let's let's write it down.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Okay, all right, fine, that's interesting though. Yeah, it's weird
- 52:24Speaker 1: that there would be years of delay if it was
- 52:26Speaker 1: already because usually usually Europe usually we have something, then
- 52:30Speaker 1: Europe bans it and then we get rid of it.
- 52:32Speaker 12: Not not.
- 52:32Speaker 1: We don't usually take stuff from Europe and China. Yeah,
- 52:35Speaker 1: because this is actually better.
- 52:37Speaker 8: I don't know the word, but you're about to okay,
- 52:41Speaker 8: but it's like reflective instead of absorbative. Yeah, so it
- 52:46Speaker 8: reflects the sun like a house is white to reflect
- 52:49Speaker 8: the Apparently it lasts a lot longer on your skin
- 52:53Speaker 8: as well.
- 52:54Speaker 9: So what's what's this ingredient.
- 52:55Speaker 1: It's called uh ben ben tourism neo alone we're gonna
- 53:04Speaker 1: get Yeah, you tried, Greg.
- 53:09Speaker 4: I think you said it pretty well. Bemoo. You know
- 53:16Speaker 4: you stronger U v a protection.
- 53:21Speaker 8: But I mean if Asia is using it and they're
- 53:24Speaker 8: like the kings of skin, yeah, you know it's good.
- 53:26Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 53:27Speaker 1: If you see every if you're going an international resort,
- 53:29Speaker 1: you ever see a Chinese woman, she is had to toe.
- 53:34Speaker 1: I would say there lighter than most Caucasians because stay
- 53:37Speaker 1: out of the song.
- 53:37Speaker 7: And they have the visor that goes down like to
- 53:40Speaker 7: the knees.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 53:41Speaker 8: But I'm talking to like overall skin care and like
- 53:43Speaker 8: skin care line. It's all about skin, you know. Yeah,
- 53:47Speaker 8: Korea and the UK really really good at this. So
- 53:50Speaker 8: I'm excited because you know, I was very anti sunscreen,
- 53:55Speaker 8: like Greg, because I just hated the feel of the
- 53:57Speaker 8: sunscreen on the skin and said that this is more
- 54:01Speaker 8: like transparent, not like that big huge lighter. It's not
- 54:05Speaker 8: all that like super thick and stuff like that. I
- 54:07Speaker 8: finally found sunscreen. I shout it out all the time
- 54:10Speaker 8: because I think people should wear sunscreen for sure.
- 54:13Speaker 4: I'm a believer.
- 54:14Speaker 1: Now, yeah, it's actually actually actually feels good on your skin.
- 54:21Speaker 8: Is called super Goop sunscreen, Dude, I'm all about it.
- 54:26Speaker 8: It is not cheap, but it feels good on your skin.
- 54:30Speaker 8: And yeah, you need sunscreen, man, and they have they
- 54:32Speaker 8: sell it at Target. Now it's good.
- 54:34Speaker 1: Oh and what is it called supergoop?
- 54:37Speaker 10: Supergoop?
- 54:37Speaker 7: And so do you put that on your face?
- 54:39Speaker 11: Because my problem is, and I don't know what it is,
- 54:42Speaker 11: every time I put sunscreen on my face, it gets
- 54:44Speaker 11: in my eyes. And not even necessarily when I'm putting
- 54:47Speaker 11: it on, but at some point throughout the day, I
- 54:49Speaker 11: will rub my eye or something happens and then I
- 54:51Speaker 11: have sunscreen in my eye.
- 54:52Speaker 8: Well, the super Goop, I know, like, I've gone some
- 54:55Speaker 8: in my eye and it's fine, but they're like the
- 54:56Speaker 8: cheap sunscreen. It will ruin your day.
- 54:59Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I was.
- 55:01Speaker 8: I was in Saint Martin vacation, and it was like
- 55:05Speaker 8: I was right about to go to the beach and
- 55:07Speaker 8: I got some in my eye and ruined my whole day.
- 55:09Speaker 8: Like I had to wear sunglasses and uh like try
- 55:12Speaker 8: to get through the day.
- 55:13Speaker 1: But it stings.
- 55:14Speaker 10: That makes your vision foggy.
- 55:16Speaker 1: Yeah, and seeing that the alternatives they do make tear free.
- 55:19Speaker 1: So get like a baby, get baby sunscreen essentially. All right,
- 55:22Speaker 1: I'm down, and I.
- 55:24Speaker 4: Think the thing that I thought was a life changer
- 55:25Speaker 4: is the spray one because you're so easy. And then
- 55:28Speaker 4: my dermatologist said you still have to rub it in.
- 55:31Speaker 4: I said, oh, that defeats the purpose.
- 55:32Speaker 9: Oh yeah, I didn't know that.
- 55:34Speaker 4: I spray it and forget it.
- 55:35Speaker 9: I just cover my kid in a fog and be like,
- 55:37Speaker 9: go play exactly.
- 55:38Speaker 4: You're supposed to apparently spray it and rub it in.
- 55:40Speaker 1: I mean supposedly this metros on all or yeah, does
- 55:45Speaker 1: better sitting on top of your skin, So mightbe that
- 55:47Speaker 1: means you don't have to rub it in as much.
- 55:49Speaker 8: Good Greg, I'm happy you're wearing sunscreen finally, because you're
- 55:52Speaker 8: dermatologists right said that you wouldn't have a nose if
- 55:56Speaker 8: you will continue on.
- 55:57Speaker 4: Your journey of not wearing remains to be seen because
- 56:00Speaker 4: I still have to go in to get a few
- 56:01Speaker 4: things lopped off of my body.
- 56:03Speaker 1: We'll see, damn.
- 56:04Speaker 4: But yeah, way too late to the sunscreen game. Yeah,
- 56:09Speaker 4: I know that's all the medicine. When you're told in God,
- 56:11Speaker 4: you feel healthier.
- 56:12Speaker 1: Yeah, you look batter You just feel like when you
- 56:17Speaker 1: smell like chlorine and your tan, that equals health. I'm
- 56:22Speaker 1: a good ship. The seventies taught us anything. Yeah.
- 56:26Speaker 8: The most hand I've ever been was in Hawaii and
- 56:28Speaker 8: I didn't wear any sunscreen and I looked amazing.
- 56:31Speaker 1: And then the next week I did have a bunch
- 56:32Speaker 1: of blisters. But right I looked.
- 56:36Speaker 4: And when you go to the resort restaurant for dinner,
- 56:38Speaker 4: you're looking good.
- 56:39Speaker 1: You look like you belong here.
- 56:41Speaker 4: Right in it's the best.
- 56:45Speaker 1: Show.
- 56:46Speaker 4: We are back here on the Woody Show. Woody will
- 56:48Speaker 4: be back tomorrow. Everybody else is here at Woody Show headquarters,
- 56:52Speaker 4: and from time to time what we do here is
- 56:54Speaker 4: ask a very important.
- 56:56Speaker 6: Question, a hole.
- 57:00Speaker 1: What do you show?
- 57:00Speaker 3: Ask?
- 57:01Speaker 1: This was never by anyone else, never ever, never before.
- 57:05Speaker 4: Now I have a situation that I'll get to in
- 57:08Speaker 4: a second.
- 57:09Speaker 6: I should I have been.
- 57:13Speaker 4: Because I'm not a big fan of confrontation, so I
- 57:15Speaker 4: kind of avoid.
- 57:17Speaker 1: Things postponent or form it out.
- 57:19Speaker 4: Yeah, and then maybe this would come in handy in
- 57:20Speaker 4: the future if you guys could tell me how to
- 57:22Speaker 4: begin to be the a hole.
- 57:24Speaker 1: In this situation. Very fat and I'm sure it's.
- 57:26Speaker 4: Happened to basically everybody. He came to the right place,
- 57:29Speaker 4: basically everybody. But I know Steabst has this very important
- 57:33Speaker 4: question as well.
- 57:34Speaker 1: I got am I a hole? And should I be
- 57:35Speaker 1: an a whole? The first one, good admit, I think's
- 57:37Speaker 1: pretty obvious. So a common dating prompt on the apps
- 57:41Speaker 1: is a random fact I love, and then you fill
- 57:44Speaker 1: in the blank and used to reveal something about your personality.
- 57:47Speaker 1: I will say this women, The most common one that
- 57:50Speaker 1: guys see all the time is a random fact I
- 57:52Speaker 1: love is that otters hold hands when they sleep so
- 57:54Speaker 1: they don't drift apart. EXA, Why would you say that
- 57:59Speaker 1: to attracted dude? Well, here's the thing, and this is
- 58:01Speaker 1: a quick side tangent. So much and I assume guys
- 58:05Speaker 1: do this as well. Probably so much of what a
- 58:06Speaker 1: woman puts on her dating profile are things about her
- 58:09Speaker 1: that guys do not care about. I don't care that
- 58:11Speaker 1: you went to I don't care that you went to
- 58:12Speaker 1: a fancy dinner and got a little birthday cupcake with
- 58:14Speaker 1: a candle on it. I see it all the time.
- 58:17Speaker 1: I don't care that you love yoga and pilates. I
- 58:20Speaker 1: don't care. Doesn't it means nothing to men that cliche? Right,
- 58:25Speaker 1: So anyway, their bio can pretty much have like nothing
- 58:27Speaker 1: on it, right, Just give me something that's not the
- 58:29Speaker 1: same as every other woman out there. That's the sick
- 58:31Speaker 1: top anyway. So this is what this this girl wrote,
- 58:33Speaker 1: this lady, this woman wrote this. A random fact I
- 58:36Speaker 1: love is a wolf's howl doesn't echo. And what that's
- 58:40Speaker 1: supposed to mean, by the way, it's wrong. But what
- 58:46Speaker 1: it's supposed to mean is that wolves only only want
- 58:49Speaker 1: other wolves to hear them, and they have a specific
- 58:51Speaker 1: distinct howl that lets them know they're communicating with their partner.
- 58:56Speaker 1: So it's supposed to be also romantic. And you know, now,
- 59:00Speaker 1: Gina just said wolves echoes are sounds. They don't have
- 59:04Speaker 1: any specific way to modulate the vibrations coming out of
- 59:08Speaker 1: their throats that wouldn't bounce off a hard for that
- 59:10Speaker 1: surface like a right, So again, people you know, say
- 59:15Speaker 1: the sea best. Oh, you just googled. No, I don't.
- 59:17Speaker 1: I like, Gina just did use my like. Wait, that
- 59:19Speaker 1: doesn't sound right, and so I now here's what I did.
- 59:23Speaker 1: This is where it went from.
- 59:24Speaker 10: Now just tell me a message her.
- 59:28Speaker 1: You can reply, so you can reply to the individual prompt.
- 59:31Speaker 1: He's healthy. Yeah, not being helpful. And I said googling
- 59:35Speaker 1: can help people from repeating urban legends. Now, okay, now
- 59:41Speaker 1: think about this and don't say it yet. But I
- 59:43Speaker 1: just made a mistake in that response. I think I
- 59:45Speaker 1: hold on to it. I'll tell you what it is
- 59:47Speaker 1: in a second. Here say it one more time. So
- 59:50Speaker 1: googling can help people from repeating urban legends. Is how
- 59:54Speaker 1: what I replied to her, saying, I made a mistake
- 59:57Speaker 1: and just hold on to it and we'll see. I'll
- 59:59Speaker 1: let you know if you're right now. Second, you asked
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: her to do something I dare question a woman. Yeah, so,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: she she she did reply because most because you don't
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: have to reply that you could just wipe left or
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: X out or whatever. You say this a whole I
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: don't want to talk to him, uh, she replied. Oh,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: and by the way, I didn't really mean it as
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: an egg. That kind of was she She said, you
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: mean the same way they can look up the meaning
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: of an urban legend because you didn't use that term correctly.
- 1:00:28Speaker 9: Shots fired.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Well, life, she's not wrong. She was wrong about she
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: was wrong about the wolf thing. That's stupid. But I
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: should have said old wives tale, not urban legend. Urban
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: legends more like candy man. Yeah, old wivesoid. Like you
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: swallow an apple seed, you'll grow it, you know, whatever,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: your gums stays in your stomach.
- 1:00:49Speaker 9: For something across and someone left you on the back.
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: So she's cool getting married, that's the goal.
- 1:00:58Speaker 14: Uh.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: And in Menace, I'm gonna let you you. She has
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: a very easy Instagram handle, which I'm not gonna stay
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: on the air, but you look it up. Oh oh damn,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: she got a really good one. Yeah, to get that.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: So I replied amn to that. So I was like, oh, I, oh,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: she's right. You know I wasn't as wrong as she
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: was because I was still in the ballpark. She was
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: dead wrong. So I said, if you're calling me generous
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: for leaving you an opening to reciprocate, I humbly accept
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: your compliments and I put a little angel angel face emoji.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: You know, some girl might like that answer, like I'm
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: admitting admitting that I was wrong too, and I'm saying
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: thank you and like, thank you for and I was,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: but I was admitting that I was wrong in a
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: way like I meant to be wrong, obviously joking, obviously kidding.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: You might have fumbled though, because inially stupid. Yeah, but
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: you're you're you're nagging. That kind of that works a lot, right,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: that was, but but that's that's that's a that's a
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: that's still a negg, that'sh Yeah, but you put the
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: emoji in there like some girls.
- 1:02:06Speaker 8: Yes, yes, some girls don't like the emoji. Do you
- 1:02:09Speaker 8: know who I rarely ever see use emojis is Sammy
- 1:02:13Speaker 8: and I try not to emoji back. I'm like, she's
- 1:02:16Speaker 8: not an emoji person.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: I stay on them.
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: You have to.
- 1:02:20Speaker 9: How do you know what the tone is?
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: That what I do?
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: I do it for tone? Thank you gause especially. I
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: know my reputation, I know how I come off. So
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: I worthing you've ever got overdo the emojis to let
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: you know so? Uh so I said, so I'm witty
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: bantert blah blah blah. She got me, I got her
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: she got me a little bit. Yeah to what she replied,
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: you're a massive F slur. Oh my god. She she
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: didn't say f a you know the double g's she
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: she typed out F dash slur because if you she
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: knows she's smart. If you type out the actual slur,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: the apple kick you off. You want to hold on
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: to her with bo Yeah? Good second, how do we
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: get her on the show? Step over to Morgan so
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: she can look at her great. Okay, she's got a
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: very easy Instagram handle, and I think I think like
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: she has some yeah, don't don't say it, of course,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: but she has like photo shooting guns and stuff. So
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: I think she's kind of like a modern conservative sort
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: of chick, which would who would use that slur? So
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: so that I replied, if you're calling me a fun guy,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: I am, it's not on that, But I said, I
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: bet you're a phone girl too, and then block block unmatched, unmatched,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: not blocked. I think this would have been a good match.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: I think so too, even though she called me the
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: gay the gay word one life. But again, I've got
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: her Instagram because now it's the red flag for me.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: She publishes her Instagram on her bio, which is kind
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: of a networking. Right, I've said that a thousand times.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: It's just you're just looking for a public essentially nice.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: But was I the ale or was I just was
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: my this? Yeah? Yeah, you're just playing around.
- 1:04:02Speaker 10: It's better than faking who you are to get someone.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Yes, and then I'm going to be a nick pick
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: I'm going to be a nick picking pedantist. Right.
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: I think the answer lies in what your intentions were.
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: Were you nagging to actually maybe get a date or
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: were you literally doing it just to correct her?
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: And I do not do that because I I typically
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: if I see something stupid, which is by the way,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: ninety five percent of you, I just move on because
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: it's not it's not worth my time, you know, And
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: it's not it's not productive.
- 1:04:30Speaker 9: So there was something about her that you found forgivable?
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Well again, look at her Instagram.
- 1:04:33Speaker 7: She's she's cute.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: Yeah, So I was like, I was like, she's she
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: said something. She said something kind of stupid and kind
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: of trite. But I was willing to look past.
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: It, apparently, because, as you say, arguing with the fool
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: only proves there are two yes.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: So that's that's why. Again to that exact point, right,
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: That's why I just ignore it exactly, but I just
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: for whatever.
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: Reason otherwise, I mean, there's not enough time in the
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: day to correct that.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: Right, And I her out to our next event was
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: the real quick around the room.
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: No, yeah, but so was she so no harm, no foul.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:06Speaker 10: I really thought it was gonna work out between you two.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: So she got you. I hit her up with some
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: of the cartarks Instagram, which I would never do. I
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: don't put any cartnark stuff in my prot use your fame,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: it was my fame. I try to go off my
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: charming for.
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: I think I'm going to vote yeah, considering the venue
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: for it, argue exactly. Another example of that. We're going
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: to get to that in just a second, but we
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: do have to take a break because we see the
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: super strict sign being held up. Yes, all right, we're
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: back on the Woody Show, fresh off of sea. Bass's question,
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: was ID a hole on that dating app?
- 1:05:47Speaker 7: And the consensus was kind of it was kind of,
- 1:05:52Speaker 7: but so is she.
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: I mean, I'm in general support correcting grammar, and that
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: was kind of along those lines. And I have a
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: should I have been the ahle so past tense and
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: I think probably everybody has been in this position, but
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: this one was so over the top and noteworthy because
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: of her delivery. So a few days ago I met
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: home Goods as everybody was right looking for rugs as
- 1:06:18Speaker 4: everybody exactly, so I'm looking for rugs, and in walks
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: this young woman, probably let's say mid twenties nice.
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: I thought she was talking to herself at.
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: First, because she wasn't holding her phone like you know
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: when people are on their speakerphone, they're clearly just holding it.
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: But she had AirPods on it. She was using her
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: AirPods as and I realized, oh, she's not talking to herself.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: She's on the phone.
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: Lots of families around, lots of children around, and this
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: woman is talking at a normal volume, and she is
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: saying stuff to the person whoever she's talking to. Must
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: have been wrapping up a story to a friend or
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: something like that. And for purposes of radio, F be
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: the F word and S will be the S word.
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: So she's saying on the phone at full volume, Oh,
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: I know, a f in sucks. And then as she's
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: talking to her friend, she's looking at random items, lamps, chairs,
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: It's like, oh, this one's fing cute? Oh holy s
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: that's expensive. What oh I know, Yeah, that f in sucked.
- 1:07:23Speaker 18: And people are looking, there are kids looking, and she's
- 1:07:28Speaker 18: just going off. She has no social social and her
- 1:07:32Speaker 18: full volume on the phone.
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: And I almost wanted to say something like, can you
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: maybe go outside and finish your conversation?
- 1:07:41Speaker 15: Yeah?
- 1:07:41Speaker 4: Great, I mean, I mean, I'm I am judgmental about it, yes,
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: But do I want to get involved? Do I want
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: I want to.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Be comes out what you say, old man?
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: Right, Like, I can't tell me I don't want to
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: be a you know that intrusive or I'm not the
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: more for police and I'm not, it's not my battle.
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: But at the same token, you could see by the
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: other k exactly, but you could see the other people
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: kept looking at.
- 1:08:10Speaker 8: It, did the passive aggressive thing, and then started just
- 1:08:14Speaker 8: talking loudly next to.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: Well, anyway, there's this total bitch. Next you're hitting on
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: the You're hitting on exactly what I was going with,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: and I've I've I'm saving this for the right moment
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: because this happens on planes a lot, where people will
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: people land and somebody suddenly is full volume. Hey we're
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: just landed.
- 1:08:28Speaker 6: Yeah, but a bait and the.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: Move I'm waiting to do someday and I will is
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: to get on a fake phone call but really on
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: voice recording and then just start and like do exactly
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: what Menico saying and pretend you're talking about them, and
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: so that you're yeah, I'm actually this total R word.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Who can't who decided this would be the good the
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: best time to have a phone conversation at full volume
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: when they're around five fifty other people? Yeah, and be
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: real loud about it. Yeah, I don't know why she
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: would do that, she says, affing our word being yeah,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: I don't know. And then when she goes to you,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: I mean, that's a little more extreme than my idea. Well,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: but yeah, you can modulate to whatever you want as much.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: As little as that I would directed at them, I
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: would just be like trying to talk more, right, So.
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: That's the I'm more of a tail tuck between the
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: legs kind of guy, like a head in the sand, like,
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: don't get involved. I wish I had the backbone to
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: do that.
- 1:09:14Speaker 7: Why don't you go full Karen and speak to a manager.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: We know what happens because I do that all the time.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: That yeah, yeah, all right, I have a story. It's
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: a should I be in a hole, And I'm kind
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: of like teetering on, like what you're saying, Should I
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: get involved? Should I say something?
- 1:09:33Speaker 8: And it's something so dumb, but I know it would
- 1:09:36Speaker 8: be something that Sea Bass would support and you would support.
- 1:09:39Speaker 8: So I moved into this building and all the hallways
- 1:09:43Speaker 8: are carpeted. But there was just one unit out of
- 1:09:47Speaker 8: I would say hundreds that I happened to be nearby
- 1:09:52Speaker 8: that had a doormat. And this doormat so freaking ugly, right,
- 1:09:58Speaker 8: like ridiculous, had like lifts stick on it or whatever,
- 1:10:00Speaker 8: blah blah blah, like kisses come here for you. Okay,
- 1:10:05Speaker 8: I'm like, oh that's ugly. Didn't didn't pay attention to it.
- 1:10:09Speaker 8: But within a month, four other units decide, oh, you
- 1:10:13Speaker 8: know what, I want a doormat too.
- 1:10:15Speaker 6: I need some personality even though it's carpeted.
- 1:10:18Speaker 8: Even though it's carpeted, right, and you check all the
- 1:10:20Speaker 8: other floors, no one else has doormats, just this hall right,
- 1:10:25Speaker 8: then the lace doormat is a SpongeBob doormat. Right, But
- 1:10:33Speaker 8: now this unit, okay, who started the doormat craze. Now
- 1:10:38Speaker 8: puts their little wagon outside their front door.
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: Okay, that's something I would call on that one I'd say,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: I would take a photo. And I have done that people.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: One guy in my old place, he got his like
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: he had big five gallon jugs of water because apparently
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: the tap is too dirty for him, and he would
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: leave him outside his door. And I took a photo
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: and sent that right up and they and they every
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: leasing office has a thing against No, don't leave your
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: personal property. Yes, they're making a storage outside. Okay, so
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: they started that craze.
- 1:11:05Speaker 8: Now other units are leaving their wagons outside their front door.
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: Get so you gotta report that the wagons that they
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: would use to put groceries or whatever.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Yes, or take their dogs on walks. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:11:17Speaker 8: And so again, am I just being a curmudgeon and
- 1:11:20Speaker 8: be like you can't have your krabby patty doormat?
- 1:11:23Speaker 9: No, you're but you're seeing the pattern and you got.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: To catch this before it gets to be broken wagons, windows.
- 1:11:30Speaker 11: Windows, It's very nursing home, like with the carpet instill
- 1:11:34Speaker 11: having like their next they're gonna have reads and then
- 1:11:36Speaker 11: they're gonna have mailboxes.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: This is a nice place like what is is not?
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: Now? Is it the type of building that has an
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: office that you can.
- 1:11:47Speaker 8: Go Yeah, yeah, but am I like, am I gonna
- 1:11:49Speaker 8: be the little complainer about these stupid doormats?
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: Like that's a little extra stay that way.
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: See this sounds like something that if Seabats or I
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: did it, you would say.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: Yes, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:12:00Speaker 8: That's that's why I'm having an internal struggle. I know,
- 1:12:07Speaker 8: I guess affecting me, and I appreciate that. I appreciate
- 1:12:10Speaker 8: that you were like climbing the hill and you're almost
- 1:12:13Speaker 8: at the peak.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: Step one is you do the right thing. You have
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: like a portal, like an online thing where you can like, hey,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: like if whatever it needs fixing or something right. But
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: I like to do stuff face to face because I
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: don't want a paper trail. You're gonna get caught. You
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: whistleblower protections.
- 1:12:32Speaker 8: Because I did have this happen to me in a
- 1:12:34Speaker 8: building that I was in once, where a a person
- 1:12:38Speaker 8: was playing very loudly their their video games. Is I
- 1:12:42Speaker 8: never complained about anything, but this person was obviously originally
- 1:12:47Speaker 8: from another country, so they were playing their friends in.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: A different and no, no, no, they're playing their friends.
- 1:12:53Speaker 8: They were playing their friends in a different time zone,
- 1:12:55Speaker 8: so in the middle of the night and they were
- 1:12:56Speaker 8: playing they're playing World of War Crafters where the warcraft
- 1:13:01Speaker 8: they're playing Call of Duty like super loud. So I'm
- 1:13:04Speaker 8: just like, hey, so I this is the one time
- 1:13:06Speaker 8: I ever said anything. And guess what the owner of
- 1:13:09Speaker 8: the building did. They put us on a group email.
- 1:13:13Speaker 12: What the hell?
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: So if you really, really really are afraid of something
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: like that, which you know I wouldn't be, but okay,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: that's fine, I'm not. But I'm just like, it's to
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: Greg's point, if they have an office, write a letter,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: leave it under the door during off hours, don't sign it,
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: maybe just take a photo or or five apparently print
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: it off. Say hey, would you all mind going up
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: to floor six or whatever and address the people who
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: are leaving their wagons out because they definitely don't have cameras,
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: and then use that language. This is going to start
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: a trend.
- 1:13:43Speaker 7: It already has.
- 1:13:44Speaker 4: Yeah, this has started.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: And what I always say is that you know, of
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: course you know this filelace blah blah blah blah blahlah
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: least policy that that happened with a guy who was
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: doing personal training every day and that was liars. But
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: at least that.
- 1:13:57Speaker 8: Gives you a But again, going back to who freaking cares?
- 1:14:01Speaker 8: What're talking about care?
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: We're talking about doormats.
- 1:14:04Speaker 8: No, I'm just saying they're ugly af But I mean,
- 1:14:07Speaker 8: does it really affect my life in any way?
- 1:14:09Speaker 7: Well, I say, let them live?
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: You're usually about I am, I am, I am all
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: about let them live. When I got hit with the
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: SpongeBob one, I'm.
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: Like, I don't know this is this is gonna be
- 1:14:24Speaker 4: way too philosophical. Yeah, that's an answer to a doormat thing.
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: But when people bag on seabats for doing cart narks
- 1:14:32Speaker 4: and they say to your face.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: Well don't you have better things to do?
- 1:14:36Speaker 4: At what point do we stop saying that, like, let
- 1:14:38Speaker 4: them live.
- 1:14:39Speaker 15: They're having fun, But it doesn't.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: Honestly, it doesn't affect my life.
- 1:14:44Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: But what I'm saying is, if you look at it
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: like from up above, what in your life really truly matters?
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: Are you going to start eliminating everything else? Because really
- 1:14:54Speaker 4: the only thing that matters is your health and your family.
- 1:14:57Speaker 4: So then what you should not care about litter?
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: You should? How does it really affect you?
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: You know, like, you shouldn't care about graffi graffiti.
- 1:15:05Speaker 6: Because when you.
- 1:15:06Speaker 4: Narrow it down, not a whole lot really matters in
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: your life other than your health and your family. So
- 1:15:11Speaker 4: let's just throw out all except the standards of detail.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: I said that, we know that, like said, broken windows felt.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: When you let that crap start, it takes over everything
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: when you let when you let the windows be broken,
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: then the building gets tagged, and then the homeless encampment
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: moves in. Then people are selling drugs, and then the property,
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: then the store closes, then the you know, we live
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: in a society.
- 1:15:32Speaker 9: He's basically living in a trap house.
- 1:15:35Speaker 4: I feel like people, Yeah, see, I don't like the confrontation.
- 1:15:38Speaker 4: I also don't like the results of the confrontation because
- 1:15:41Speaker 4: I had some renters next door to me at the
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: condo who were so crazy, exceptionally loud. So I sent
- 1:15:49Speaker 4: a quick email to the owner of the place. He
- 1:15:52Speaker 4: and I are friendly. I said, hey, just so you know,
- 1:15:53Speaker 4: your renters.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: Are really loud.
- 1:15:56Speaker 4: They've got like a ton of kids. They're making a
- 1:15:58Speaker 4: ton of noise. He ordered that to the property manager.
- 1:16:02Speaker 4: They responded to me, Okay, we've talked to them. They
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: they apologize and they are going to keep the kids
- 1:16:07Speaker 4: under control. Then I felt like an a hole for
- 1:16:09Speaker 4: having complained, for bringing in I got the result.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: I then I felt like this, this happened to me.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: When I was a little kid. We we would play
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: in our side yard, which was directly opposite our neighbor's
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: bedroom window, and we were digging holes for like a
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: month and we just dug and we were screaming, playing
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: fight and throwing rocks each other. We didn't know that
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: they're the Our neighbor's husband worked at the the post
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: office overnight, third shifter, right and so. And my mom
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: was like, yep, sorry, can't you gay guys. You can't
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: dig holes and scream at each other in the side yard.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: You can't play in the front yard, play in the backyard.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: You just can't play in that side yard.
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: You know what.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: It's fine. As of a seven year old, I did.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: I didn't feel personally.
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: Updates okay, so much to think about. Look at me
- 1:16:52Speaker 4: growing up. It's like, let them live. He puts the
- 1:17:01Speaker 4: g in Garcia, So call sports with Jeff Garcia.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 1:17:08Speaker 8: Jeff?
- 1:17:09Speaker 15: What's going on? Squad?
- 1:17:10Speaker 19: We'll get to the Dodgers and Angels in a few seconds.
- 1:17:13Speaker 19: But first, let's start with the biggest comeback in NBA
- 1:17:16Speaker 19: Finals history. Knicks were down twenty nine points in the
- 1:17:19Speaker 19: second half and figured out a way to win it.
- 1:17:21Speaker 6: Shut no gout the check.
- 1:17:22Speaker 8: What's gone, It's gone, It's gone with one point too Ramada,
- 1:17:27Speaker 8: next check.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: The lad You know.
- 1:17:29Speaker 19: The Spurs failed in so many ways in the second
- 1:17:32Speaker 19: half of the players, the coaches, they totally showed their
- 1:17:35Speaker 19: inexperience in the worst possible moments. I don't know how
- 1:17:38Speaker 19: they recover from this. Now on to the Knicks fans.
- 1:17:41Speaker 19: They continue to destroy their city for some reason. While
- 1:17:44Speaker 19: they were climbing on ambulances and ripping down street signs,
- 1:17:48Speaker 19: two loud explosions happened.
- 1:17:50Speaker 15: Listen to this kind of sound like cherry bomb eights.
- 1:18:01Speaker 19: Either way, pray for that city because win the next win,
- 1:18:04Speaker 19: they're gonna burn that thing down.
- 1:18:05Speaker 12: Man.
- 1:18:06Speaker 19: Moving on to the Dodgers. They gave up five runs
- 1:18:08Speaker 19: in the eighth lost to Pittsburgh. Same two teams today
- 1:18:10Speaker 19: at three point forty.
- 1:18:12Speaker 15: Angels. They beat the Astros last night in the tenth inning.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Why say good night to the Astros? The Angels finally
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: win a series at.
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: Home plug against Houston.
- 1:18:23Speaker 15: Halo's are off today. Time for some soccer ladies and gentlemen.
- 1:18:26Speaker 19: The World Cup officially kicks off today at noon Mexico
- 1:18:30Speaker 19: and South Africa, then later on this evening at seven
- 1:18:33Speaker 19: pm South Korea and Chetsia, and finally this morning, wood
- 1:18:36Speaker 19: You Show. Game five at the Stanley Cup Final is
- 1:18:38Speaker 19: happening at five pm. Series is tied to.
- 1:18:41Speaker 15: Two between Vegas and Carolina. I'm Jeff G.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: And that's you're SoCal Sports, all right, thank you, Jeff G.
- 1:18:46Speaker 6: Yeah, heio.
- 1:18:48Speaker 4: At this point, why don't we just all liquidate our
- 1:18:50Speaker 4: bank account and take the money and.
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: Put it in the fire. I'm looking for real answers. No,
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: Woody Show, That's what I've been saying.
- 1:18:59Speaker 4: Yeah, we covered so much. Oh wood He's back tomorrow,
- 1:19:02Speaker 4: by the way.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: It is the Woody Show.
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: We covered so much in the m Ida Hoole world.
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: But Gina wants to know, is this a bad idea?
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:19:10Speaker 7: This is something I always did and looked forward to.
- 1:19:13Speaker 7: And you know, I have a puppy now and she's
- 1:19:15Speaker 7: about twelve weeks old, and she doesn't have all her shots,
- 1:19:18Speaker 7: and so carrying her everywhere, and you know, I even
- 1:19:20Speaker 7: debated the menace stroller do it, but well, I have.
- 1:19:23Speaker 9: A little sling bag.
- 1:19:24Speaker 7: She fits. It's just fine. But one thing that I
- 1:19:27Speaker 7: love doing when I have dog sat, you know, long
- 1:19:30Speaker 7: term for other people's dogs, is taking them to the
- 1:19:32Speaker 7: dog park. I love watching them run around to the
- 1:19:34Speaker 7: point where I don't mind being the crazy person that
- 1:19:36Speaker 7: would just.
- 1:19:37Speaker 9: Go and like watch the dogs.
- 1:19:38Speaker 7: If I thought that wasn't the most you know, so
- 1:19:41Speaker 7: weirdest thing, but I was like, oh, I can't wait
- 1:19:43Speaker 7: to take her the dog Purche'll run around, She'll beat
- 1:19:45Speaker 7: the dogs. Every single person I've talked to in every Instagram,
- 1:19:50Speaker 7: you know, dog trainer what everything I follow says do
- 1:19:53Speaker 7: not do it. Dog parks are the worst idea. Do
- 1:19:56Speaker 7: not take your dog to dog parks. And this is
- 1:19:58Speaker 7: blowing my mind. I didn't know this was a bad idea.
- 1:20:00Speaker 7: You all have dogs.
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: What's the deal?
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: People are saying taking them in general or taking them before.
- 1:20:06Speaker 9: They fell or shot, do not take your dog to
- 1:20:08Speaker 9: a dog park, whichever. See that's I'm saying.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: Yeah, but there's some dog parts where they're split up
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: between small dogs and bags.
- 1:20:15Speaker 7: They say it doesn't matter. They still learn they little
- 1:20:18Speaker 7: dogs and shy big dogs or whatever. But they say
- 1:20:21Speaker 7: it causes bad habits. It's you know, somebody's gonna get
- 1:20:25Speaker 7: bit and somebody's gonna get sued, and especially with a
- 1:20:27Speaker 7: little dog, you're not gonna be able to yank it
- 1:20:29Speaker 7: out of some dog's mouth, and.
- 1:20:32Speaker 9: If it's hasn't been fixed.
- 1:20:33Speaker 7: And I'm like, I just thought they run around together
- 1:20:35Speaker 7: like preschool and it's good for them.
- 1:20:37Speaker 11: There's so much risk involved because you have no idea
- 1:20:40Speaker 11: what another dog might do. And even a great owner
- 1:20:43Speaker 11: with a great dog, they can't control their dog either.
- 1:20:45Speaker 11: If a scenario arises where they decide that they're gonna
- 1:20:48Speaker 11: go after another dog, you can't prevent it from happening.
- 1:20:51Speaker 7: And I've gone so many times and it's been pretty
- 1:20:54Speaker 7: much fine. But yeah, now I'm like, now I'm kind
- 1:20:56Speaker 7: of freaked out. But here's where I'm kind of projecting
- 1:20:58Speaker 7: or maybe anthropomorphic.
- 1:21:03Speaker 9: Thank you.
- 1:21:04Speaker 7: What aren't they turning turning a non human into it,
- 1:21:08Speaker 7: giving it human like characteristics? Isn't it good for them?
- 1:21:11Speaker 7: Do they want to see their friends and playing?
- 1:21:16Speaker 11: Yeah, well, but they should be introduced to other dogs,
- 1:21:20Speaker 11: I mean appropriately, not just here you go, you all
- 1:21:23Speaker 11: run loose and hope for the best.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: How do you set up doggie dates?
- 1:21:26Speaker 10: Yeah, I need a.
- 1:21:27Speaker 9: Doggy date now, are any of you willing to have
- 1:21:30Speaker 9: a doggy.
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: Date with me?
- 1:21:34Speaker 4: Defriends where Yes?
- 1:21:36Speaker 6: So far?
- 1:21:36Speaker 9: I have Morgan on the books because her big, you know,
- 1:21:39Speaker 9: dumb dog.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: Dogs, like three hundred pounds more than your.
- 1:21:42Speaker 9: Yeah, but the dog doesn't do anything. Her dog hardly
- 1:21:45Speaker 9: stands up.
- 1:21:45Speaker 7: I think it'll be okay.
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: I do know my dog's perfect.
- 1:21:48Speaker 4: I've taken her to the dog park and she doesn't
- 1:21:50Speaker 4: care about other dogs at Allso just do like the
- 1:21:52Speaker 4: exercise raps and go up these things and climb down
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: these things and then throw the ball a few times.
- 1:21:57Speaker 4: So she doesn't care about dogs, doesn't care as if
- 1:22:00Speaker 4: they're not there.
- 1:22:00Speaker 7: Well, and then, as seabss would say, your breed is
- 1:22:03Speaker 7: the perfect breed to meet other puppies, right, Oh.
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: Absolutely absolutely.
- 1:22:06Speaker 7: But your dog's a biter, you said, because she's teething
- 1:22:11Speaker 7: and she's a little.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: Sammy.
- 1:22:14Speaker 7: I mean she's twelve weeks old.
- 1:22:15Speaker 8: Yeah, it was recently near my dogs, and I was
- 1:22:17Speaker 8: concerned the entire time because her dog is so small. Yeah,
- 1:22:21Speaker 8: and my dogs are big, fat pieces of craft. I
- 1:22:24Speaker 8: mean they're like they're thirty pounds on her.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: Yeah, and they are wild animals.
- 1:22:28Speaker 7: Okay, completely on trained know thyself.
- 1:22:30Speaker 12: I like that.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: I don't. Yeah, I was concerned, but I mean they
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: got along.
- 1:22:34Speaker 10: Yeah, and they were finding in.
- 1:22:36Speaker 11: My dog's quick because she's used to being around puppies
- 1:22:38Speaker 11: are Yeah, that are like chasing after her or like
- 1:22:41Speaker 11: toddlers who wanted to grab her.
- 1:22:43Speaker 10: So she's learned to be pretty quick.
- 1:22:45Speaker 7: All right, Well, I'll skip the dog park, I guess.
- 1:22:47Speaker 9: But let me know if you guys want to do like.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: Double dates, all right, so just do it on your
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: own turf, I guess.
- 1:22:53Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't just let them loosen gen pop.
- 1:22:55Speaker 4: So I just always figured there's an implied risk at
- 1:22:57Speaker 4: the dog part, but I would be more worried about
- 1:22:59Speaker 4: the humans, your dog, you know, doing a little nip
- 1:23:02Speaker 4: on somebody.
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 1:23:05Speaker 9: All right, final, skip it?
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: All right, we got more Woody Show coming up.
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: Show right back, show.
- 1:23:21Speaker 4: And the entire gang is back here on The Woody
- 1:23:23Speaker 4: Show minus Woody. Woody will be back tomorrow. But, as
- 1:23:27Speaker 4: we do every week, see Bass takes a look at
- 1:23:30Speaker 4: this week in audio.
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: Let's start with some good news, Manace. Good news for
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: you new Alien movie out Steven Spielberg Disclosure Day. Now,
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: we already we already kind of debunked to dismissed the
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: disclosure docu quote unquote documentary as being a rehashed garbage. However,
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: Steven Spielberg knows the thing of two about aliens. He's
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: made like five or six alien movies. What does He
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: was on a CBS Sunday morning and this is what
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: he had to said about about real life aliens.
- 1:23:57Speaker 15: Alien's been here and do you think they might still
- 1:24:01Speaker 15: be here?
- 1:24:01Speaker 13: Based on the circumstantial evidence of everything that I've gathered
- 1:24:05Speaker 13: throughout my whole life, everybody I've listened to, and every
- 1:24:09Speaker 13: documentary I remember watched, and all the testimonies in Congress
- 1:24:13Speaker 13: that I've heard, I absolutely think that they have been here,
- 1:24:19Speaker 13: and uh, they are here, and who knows, maybe they've
- 1:24:23Speaker 13: always been here.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: Spielberg, he's a billionaire. I'll give Spielberg credit. He knew
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: he was saying nothing, so he said circumstantial. He was
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: very careful to say that. But I will suck on
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: that minute and proven wrong.
- 1:24:40Speaker 9: From a guy who does fantasy for a living, I
- 1:24:44Speaker 9: think there's.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: No doubt that he's the greatest filmmaking director of all time.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: I mean the Indiana Jones stuff saying Private Ryan might
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: be the best movie ever made ever. I mean, there's yeah,
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: so he knows you just got served.
- 1:24:58Speaker 16: You.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: Good news for you.
- 1:25:01Speaker 6: Greg.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: I'm not even gonna say who or what this is
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: because I know you'll recognize it just by his voice. Okay,
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: of a new show announcement, right, I am incredible.
- 1:25:11Speaker 16: I am incredibly humbled and excited to announce that I
- 1:25:15Speaker 16: am shooting a pilot for a new daytime talk show
- 1:25:17Speaker 16: where I am going to bring in celebrity experts, fun interviews,
- 1:25:22Speaker 16: practical projects, and stuff that will actually make life better
- 1:25:25Speaker 16: for everybody who watches the show.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: I'm stumped, Greg, that's a property brother, Jonathan Scott.
- 1:25:34Speaker 4: What he's going to have a daytime talk show?
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: Drew who's retiring? Drew Berrimer retard, Kelly Clarkson retired, So
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: you need I need an hour of nothing in the
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: middle of the house.
- 1:25:44Speaker 7: Students like that.
- 1:25:45Speaker 9: That's crazy because I thought Pink was taking over for Song.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Here's the thing. I think what he just said he's
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: he shouldn't have said that. He should have announced that
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: he's filming a pilot because that's not a guarantee of
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: a show, right. A lot of that that they do
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: pilots all time and then it never get picked up.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: Getting Greig's Little Hope sub.
- 1:26:03Speaker 11: Another talk show that just ended that people are not
- 1:26:06Speaker 11: paying attention to was Jennifer Hudson.
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: Thank You.
- 1:26:09Speaker 4: But at least the Scott brother it sounds vastly different
- 1:26:13Speaker 4: than every other talk show.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: So that's good. We got celebrities and do practical idea
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: and he's allowed to do stuff without his brother.
- 1:26:22Speaker 10: Wait a second.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: I would watch the Hell yeah obviously, because you know,
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: especially of course would be remodeling. Because like Rachel Ray
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: when her talk show, she always she did the normal
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: garbage and then her thing was cooking. Kelly Clarkson did
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: the normal garbage, then her thing was singing and blah
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: blah blah blah blah.
- 1:26:35Speaker 8: I think this could happen though, because they'll do so
- 1:26:38Speaker 8: much product placement in it. Yeah, the show might actually.
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: Sells itself because you got a home depot and yeah,
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: and every every houseware thing and guess who buys house warfare?
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: He was staying at home in the minidimes.
- 1:26:50Speaker 4: One of them.
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: I would watch the Figures crussed it was hopefully called
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: better all caps with an exclamation point with Jonathan Scott
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: all right, hell yeah, he's supported all in Charles Barkley,
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: He's he's having the Barkleys on. Barkley Sons continues.
- 1:27:07Speaker 6: We saw dumbas basketball set up.
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: Charles Barkley, he's been of course, he's been now a
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: commentator on TNT NO, ESPN for twenty five plus years.
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: He only played for fifteen years, and he's been covering
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: the finals and here he is on the uh Spurs
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: collapse in Game four.
- 1:27:22Speaker 3: We sold with dumbest basketball team in the history of civilization. Wow,
- 1:27:28Speaker 3: we saw they had a twenty five point league, took
- 1:27:32Speaker 3: eight straight threes like they thought they That was some
- 1:27:37Speaker 3: of the most mismanaged stupid basketball. Hey, well you fought
- 1:27:42Speaker 3: t one and nine point league. The other team has
- 1:27:44Speaker 3: to help you. The San Antonio Spurs help the New
- 1:27:49Speaker 3: York and when next win this game by doing some
- 1:27:51Speaker 3: of the stupid ass stuff I've never seen on the
- 1:27:53Speaker 3: basketball court.
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: Nobody does it like you, Charles. It's relatable. We hate
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: it was pretty shocking though. Well the way come back,
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: Not to get too sportsy, but the the guy they
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: the Spurs had the ball with eleven seconds left, did
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: not have to shoot, could have gotten fouled, gone to
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: the line. They're up by one point. Any high schooler
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: should know that. But what's his face? Took the shot
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: and then that led to their loss.
- 1:28:17Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:28:18Speaker 6: Cardi B.
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: She was the halftime performer in game three. Yeah, they
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: had a very high shot of her and she was
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: very wearing a very low cut top. And Charles Barkley
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: had some comments on that.
- 1:28:28Speaker 4: We've been competing with Cardi B here we lost.
- 1:28:33Speaker 3: I don't know if bees that might be Cardi D's.
- 1:28:41Speaker 8: I'm check her out at the iHeartRadio Festival ticket Cardi
- 1:28:52Speaker 8: D's iHeartRadio dot Com Slash Music Festival ticket.
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: It's been years since she's been famous. And that's the
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: first I've ever heard that.
- 1:29:00Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly. Not only was the content good, the delivery, Yeah,
- 1:29:04Speaker 4: the spot.
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: Off he's talking about boot that's good. All right? So
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: speaking of well, Tracy Morgan, he's been at the Knicks
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: Come Games, big fan. He's in some hot water because
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: I think Tracy Morgan might be on the teachers are
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: way overrated train with me. He has a totally different
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: angle to set the record straight. My angle on teachers,
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: especially during the plandemic, was patting yourselves on the back
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: a little too much. You're not heroes, you're not combat veterans.
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: You're teaching kids so important little your teachers, and then
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: most of you suck so uh. Tracy Morgan though he's
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: talking to Marcelo Hernandez's currently on SNL. They're talking about
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: SNL and being class clowns and how that how in
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: school that's not appreciated but it is. Now Here's where
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: Tracy went on teachers. You had a sense of humor
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: and they can't control that. And now look at it.
- 1:29:55Speaker 15: I'm getting paid for mischief and they still making minimum wage.
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: No, am Marcello nervous laugh.
- 1:30:03Speaker 15: You know much some teachers probably making right now, Man,
- 1:30:06Speaker 15: not enough.
- 1:30:06Speaker 3: And I can't stand teachers, you know why, because they
- 1:30:10Speaker 3: have a ceiling.
- 1:30:11Speaker 15: They have a limit. That's all they ever gonna be.
- 1:30:14Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:30:14Speaker 15: I teach my kids sky's the limits.
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: By giving them like all the which again another thing,
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: I oh, they never make enough, not enough, trying to
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: help them out. Wow, that's cool. I mean all of
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: them can get hit by a Walmart truck.
- 1:30:34Speaker 9: Anything to do with like a little brain jiggle jiggle, no, man.
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: Look, if you want to be a teacher, that's fine.
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: I've never I don't hate I love education more than
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: anybody in this room. I guarantee you that's a fact. However,
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: I'm not going with the man. You're never gonna make
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: that much and you never no matter what you do
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: in your life, you are stupid loser. That was from
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: the Variety Actors on Actors Sirie Tracy Morgan crapping all
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: over teachers for having low excitation and a low ceiling there. Yeah,
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: this is what I that's what says off the air.
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: He's not that crazy. Your fifteen year old car.
- 1:31:15Speaker 6: I don't say that.
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: Oh, if you want to have a low paying job,
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: I don't care.
- 1:31:18Speaker 4: You know what.
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: I'll say this though, principles they always seem to have
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: like really nice cars. That's because they were, like, well,
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: the real thing. I'll say this, I hate the administration
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: of any the middle management of any profession, whatever that is,
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: are the problem. The people at the top who are
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: leading very necessary. You need people who to drive you forward.
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: The people who are doing the actual work teachers, engineers, doctors, nurses,
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: et cetera. It's that middle layer of administration that's the
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: waste of time. So principles, vice principles. I never talked
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: to them.
- 1:31:51Speaker 4: It's probably really skewed my reality as movies because they
- 1:31:54Speaker 4: movies make high school principles. It looks like the coolest job, popular.
- 1:31:59Speaker 4: They hang out in the office, they talk to a
- 1:32:01Speaker 4: few problem kids.
- 1:32:02Speaker 7: Here and there, they talk to a few like they're
- 1:32:04Speaker 7: the best villain ever, like breakfast clubs.
- 1:32:06Speaker 4: One or the other, or they get killed in scream.
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:32:09Speaker 4: So the Woody Show, and welcome back to the Woody Show.
- 1:32:14Speaker 4: You can text us at two two nine eighty seven.
- 1:32:16Speaker 4: Woody is out today. He's back tomorrow. But we are
- 1:32:19Speaker 4: looking at this week in audio and it continues with
- 1:32:21Speaker 4: sea guys and the local news is dying.
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: Let me know this. We know people in the news
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: there they keep cutting, cutting, cutting. However, if they do
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: more stories like this, I think there'll be a research.
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: This is from WKMG six in Orlando, and this is
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: the big story that they spent time on for nearly
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: a week.
- 1:32:38Speaker 12: People who live here in the Spring Oaks neighborhood say
- 1:32:41Speaker 12: several homeowners have discovered what appears to be human thess
- 1:32:44Speaker 12: in their yards and mailboxes.
- 1:32:46Speaker 7: All mailboxes I'm interesting.
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: Yeah, you've got that around the room. If you were
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: to criminally profile we're looking for someone who's leaving human
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: You're you're the detective. You show up human feces, mailboxes, yards,
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: get into the suburban neighborhood. I say a school kid, yeah,
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: a teenage boy.
- 1:33:06Speaker 8: No, No, I say white late twenties, early thirties. All right,
- 1:33:14Speaker 8: because while we did have a similar story and it
- 1:33:18Speaker 8: was a female doing.
- 1:33:19Speaker 7: This series, say like a female, like skinny, weird, whacked
- 1:33:24Speaker 7: out female runner in her late fifties.
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: Oh, Gina gre Let's continue with the next clip from
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: again Channel six, Orlando.
- 1:33:32Speaker 12: Fifty year old Alexis Weber arrested for criminal mischief, accused
- 1:33:36Speaker 12: of spreading her feces on her neighbor's vehicle.
- 1:33:39Speaker 11: My husband's sex is man tells me that his work
- 1:33:42Speaker 11: van is full of feces.
- 1:33:45Speaker 4: I was like, what do you mean? Like, He's like, yeah,
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: there is poop.
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: On my van. What do you mean on my van?
- 1:33:52Speaker 7: I'm telling you, these chicks are getting a reputation for
- 1:33:55Speaker 7: being extra crazy. Yeah, it's like the late fifties runners.
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: Yep, us, what's going on? So the last one was
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: a runner that that's correct, you got to get around
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: to smear your poop. Right, She wasn't just hitting work fans,
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: she was hitting this as well.
- 1:34:08Speaker 12: The homeowners here say Saturday morning, they came outside to
- 1:34:11Speaker 12: their food pantry when they saw what appeared to be
- 1:34:14Speaker 12: human feces spread all along the bottom, crap.
- 1:34:17Speaker 14: All over like little crap all over the food pantry.
- 1:34:21Speaker 11: Whoever did this is probably a disgusting person, and I
- 1:34:24Speaker 11: was very shocked.
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: He's right, thank your neighborhood. So yeah, she's hitting the
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: work vans, the food pantry, which craig side issue there
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: if someone put a free food like the pantry they had,
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: you know, the little birdhouses take what it takes a chance,
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: books right, usually books. Now the thing is like beans,
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: and because it's like they're like, oh, we're helping our
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: neighbors who are who can't afford it.
- 1:34:51Speaker 4: That seems like some sort of health issue that would
- 1:34:54Speaker 4: not even be allowed to.
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: Have someplaces put refrigerators out there. Yeah, I would like it. Well,
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: So anyway they did catch her. This is how because
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: if she called and say, hey, somebody is feasting on
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: my car. It's Flora, You're not going to believe it.
- 1:35:10Speaker 12: Altamont Springs police say early Tuesday morning, their detective witness
- 1:35:13Speaker 12: Weber defect in the front yard of her own home
- 1:35:16Speaker 12: before arresting her for damage done to Gomez's husband's vehicle.
- 1:35:21Speaker 9: She spreads it around equally.
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: Yeah, craps. She crap in her own yard and then
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: take it to the work fan a weirdo. Okay, I'll
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: give Altamont Springs credit. They actually sent a detective out
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: to stake out looking for the human love that.
- 1:35:33Speaker 4: And that's not the only way to save local news.
- 1:35:35Speaker 4: We call the New York local news lady who was
- 1:35:38Speaker 4: drunk for her ship.
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: She's the best. I would watch that on loop. I'm
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: friends with her on Facebook. Catch people up. This a
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: woman off the Heather Cobar.
- 1:35:49Speaker 4: I know her days look at covered wine.
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: Like Albany or something, or Rochester or something like that.
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: She did the morning or the mid morning news, went
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: to the local festival, got ham right six o'clock. Her
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: level back, he dedicated, her hair was all that was
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: still good. Yeah.
- 1:36:10Speaker 4: Like, not only would I watch that local news, I
- 1:36:12Speaker 4: would pay for a subscription.
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: To watch it. Drunk drunk, middle aged ship news. Then
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: she got a job, like a part time job outside
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: of Dallas fired from that because she I believe was
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: got drunk on Margarita's and beat up her fiance.
- 1:36:26Speaker 9: I need to save her and protect her at all.
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: Unfortunately, wasn't on the air front her on Facebook because
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: she doesn't know. I'm just stalking her and she's like,
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: she goes to she's not working anymore. From what I
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: can tell a week, a lot of stuff, like a
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: lot of the same stuff. I'm going to the local
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: bubble blah parade.
- 1:36:42Speaker 9: And Morgan, maybe you can convince her to step in
- 1:36:45Speaker 9: the ring with you.
- 1:36:46Speaker 10: Yeah, let's get her on the Zoos network first.
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: Okay, speaking of local news, I would also watch this.
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: This is from five News Arkansas, Morgan, where meteorologist Noah Simmons,
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: he was talking about a very serious and they got
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: a tornado warning going on and that's that's a big deal.
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: That's that's his super Bowl. It's a local local meteorologist
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: when he noticed this happening with.
- 1:37:08Speaker 14: The National Weather Service. Uh, and there is a there's
- 1:37:13Speaker 14: there's a fire in the studio right now. Hey, guys,
- 1:37:21Speaker 14: can you hear me?
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: We have a we have a lamp on fire here
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: in the studio.
- 1:37:26Speaker 6: It was so mellow because it is too fair.
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: It's just a lamp. Lamp who's still using bulbs that
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: could get that hot? Yeah, that's a very low budget.
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: Yeah right, this guy's like twenty three. He's probably right
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: out of first off, if you're in the twenty twenties,
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: if you're going to school for meteorology, to get me
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: a TV weather man, dude, yeah, get me a time
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: machine kid.
- 1:37:51Speaker 6: Friend to that.
- 1:37:52Speaker 10: He's very successful, Thank you very much.
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: How was he made?
- 1:37:54Speaker 10: He's on the Weather Channel now. I don't know, but
- 1:37:58Speaker 10: if that's.
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: Your you're old. He graduatelyd like ten years ago. That's true.
- 1:38:01Speaker 10: Not that kids, but if I mean, but meteorologists, you
- 1:38:06Speaker 10: have to be passionate about the weather like those people
- 1:38:08Speaker 10: are different.
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: I understand. But you have to also get a job
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: at working afternoons at Low's because it's not going to
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: pay the Their.
- 1:38:14Speaker 7: Jobs are taken over by AI It Happler and have
- 1:38:17Speaker 7: been for decades.
- 1:38:18Speaker 17: Older people love watching the Weather Channel, Thank you, Sammy,
- 1:38:21Speaker 17: And maybe put Noah in charge of all of them,
- 1:38:23Speaker 17: because I don't think there was anybody in there because
- 1:38:26Speaker 17: he was like, hey, anybody there's a fire, Yeah, anybody hearing?
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: In order to be like a newsroom full of people anything.
- 1:38:32Speaker 4: He's just in some tiny little offshoot studio.
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: Right, he continues, Here areas of rotation. So this is
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: that northern tornado warning that we're looking at right now.
- 1:38:40Speaker 14: And if you see a little bit of smoke, it's
- 1:38:42Speaker 14: because we're currently putting a fire out in the studio
- 1:38:45Speaker 14: right now.
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: You got to keep doing your job, folks.
- 1:38:52Speaker 14: WHOA Okay, folks, if anyone can hear me, I got
- 1:38:55Speaker 14: fire smoke, but we still got to keep tracking this
- 1:38:59Speaker 14: tornado warning.
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: I love this guy Ken, Yeah, but it's twelve dollars
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: an hour.
- 1:39:07Speaker 8: It is crazy, though, when you get older and you
- 1:39:10Speaker 8: see the people that are broadcasters, because they they were
- 1:39:13Speaker 8: always the old people, and now you watch it, they
- 1:39:16Speaker 8: get younger and younger. I watch some local news out
- 1:39:18Speaker 8: of Palm Springs, and I swear these kids they're like
- 1:39:21Speaker 8: in high school and they're doing the local news.
- 1:39:23Speaker 9: They're doing this for like class credit.
- 1:39:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sure, I'm sure the local station has found
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: some way not to pay them, for sure. Yeah, or shame,
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: No one's buying it. Rip everybody in local broadcasting. Hey,
- 1:39:34Speaker 1: that's us our future, Greg, we got one more. This
- 1:39:39Speaker 1: is a local story that went national on the Today Show.
- 1:39:42Speaker 1: This is an all vapor eye roll okay about a
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: young woman, also about twenty three or so, who answered
- 1:39:48Speaker 1: a wrong text number and something that happened next.
- 1:39:51Speaker 2: Twenty four year old Lauren Stevens and seventy two year
- 1:39:54Speaker 2: old Werner Kruchai and have been close friends for a
- 1:39:56Speaker 2: few months now after Lauren got a new phone number,
- 1:39:59Speaker 2: which apparently was vern Dog's old one.
- 1:40:02Speaker 12: Nice and I got a text message one day asking
- 1:40:04Speaker 12: for vern Dog and I'm immediately like, who is vern Dog?
- 1:40:08Speaker 2: They became friends very quickly, and Lauren soon learned that
- 1:40:11Speaker 2: vern had a problem. The website he had been selling
- 1:40:13Speaker 2: his photographs on, called photovault dot com, was no longer
- 1:40:17Speaker 2: bringing in business like it did back in the early
- 1:40:19Speaker 2: days of the Internet. Verner was choosing to not even
- 1:40:21Speaker 2: use heat or hot water in his home anymore. Lauren
- 1:40:24Speaker 2: sprung into action, launching vern Dog social media accounts, creating
- 1:40:27Speaker 2: a GoFundMe page, and even completely redoing his website. And
- 1:40:31Speaker 2: now this new friendship has led to more than sixty
- 1:40:33Speaker 2: thousand dollars being raised for vern and a whole lot
- 1:40:36Speaker 2: more people seeing his life's work.
- 1:40:38Speaker 5: The moment she.
- 1:40:41Speaker 15: She stepped in.
- 1:40:42Speaker 1: It's like it was like a ray of sunshine.
- 1:40:47Speaker 10: Sorry that that's so nice.
- 1:40:49Speaker 1: That's what a young woman can do for twenty four
- 1:40:53Speaker 1: year old through a series of texts. Fine and helps
- 1:40:56Speaker 1: a guy. Now he didn't raise sixty grand by selling
- 1:40:59Speaker 1: his photographs, gotta go fund me because you know he's
- 1:41:01Speaker 1: an old man who doesn't have hot water, which is again,
- 1:41:04Speaker 1: if you don't have if you're not making any money,
- 1:41:06Speaker 1: stay in the San Francisco Bay area. Yeah, so all
- 1:41:09Speaker 1: babe or a roll.
- 1:41:11Speaker 9: I think this is an a babe. I mean, what's
- 1:41:13Speaker 9: wrong with this?
- 1:41:14Speaker 7: And it's like in a time where the way she
- 1:41:16Speaker 7: sounds no offense, but she sounds like she's gonna be
- 1:41:19Speaker 7: like a trick ass like but she's like a really
- 1:41:22Speaker 7: nice person, did a really good thing. So I think
- 1:41:24Speaker 7: that was a nice surprise. And this is an obaby,
- 1:41:26Speaker 7: no menace.
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: If you get right in text just asking him if
- 1:41:29Speaker 1: so and so is there, you should definitely reply to
- 1:41:30Speaker 1: that right always and then give him your routing number
- 1:41:33Speaker 1: and your account number.
- 1:41:35Speaker 8: No, I think this is a babe. I think that's
- 1:41:36Speaker 8: a really cool story. There are nice people in the world.
- 1:41:40Speaker 10: Yeah, I think it's an a babe helping older people
- 1:41:43Speaker 10: with tech.
- 1:41:44Speaker 9: Greg would love that.
- 1:41:47Speaker 4: It's definitely an a babe. It wasn't like asked for,
- 1:41:51Speaker 4: it was you know, it was a nice surprise. It
- 1:41:53Speaker 4: wasn't over the top. It was I am shocked that
- 1:41:57Speaker 4: she responded to.
- 1:41:59Speaker 1: I get those texts all time, like constant like hey Cynthia,
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: you coming over next Yeah, because they want you to say, hey,
- 1:42:03Speaker 1: this isn't.
- 1:42:07Speaker 4: And they'll get real specific. Are you still picking me
- 1:42:09Speaker 4: up at the airport at two?
- 1:42:10Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:42:10Speaker 4: So that way you think, oh, this has gotta be
- 1:42:12Speaker 4: legit right exactly. That's the only uh I roll part
- 1:42:16Speaker 4: of it, but the rest that panned out nicely. We're
- 1:42:18Speaker 4: going to wrap up this week in audio if we
- 1:42:21Speaker 4: have more, Okay, we certainly do.
- 1:42:23Speaker 1: I love it.
- 1:42:24Speaker 4: I love it.
- 1:42:28Speaker 6: It is there Thursday morning, what do you show?
- 1:42:30Speaker 1: What he is?
- 1:42:30Speaker 4: Back tomorrow morning? And right now we're wrapping up this
- 1:42:33Speaker 4: weekend audio.
- 1:42:34Speaker 1: We got a little game of who dis is dis
- 1:42:37Speaker 1: being new music from? These are big names, Oh I
- 1:42:40Speaker 1: love the Eagles or celebrities. This one first one is
- 1:42:43Speaker 1: a cover songs I'm sure you'll recognize, but who is
- 1:42:46Speaker 1: singing this happen up since six a m.
- 1:42:49Speaker 6: Working my agency.
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: Don't that be in a geez fake it?
- 1:42:53Speaker 10: Sometimes I need to sleep.
- 1:42:57Speaker 1: Got damn it get to me. You won't make except.
- 1:43:05Speaker 4: A bit on the room.
- 1:43:12Speaker 1: So bad at this game.
- 1:43:13Speaker 8: Her voice sounds like the principal in Abbott Elementary.
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: Oh, Janelle James. Yeah, I'm.
- 1:43:24Speaker 4: Throwing a noodle at the wall. See if it sticks.
- 1:43:27Speaker 1: Tiffany Hattish, Tifnany Hattish.
- 1:43:29Speaker 9: Okay, hey, Keiky Palmer, all right.
- 1:43:31Speaker 1: It's all celebrities. He's all actresses, not singers necessarily.
- 1:43:34Speaker 11: Right, Oh it's an actress, Miss you saying okay, we
- 1:43:41Speaker 11: don't have any hints.
- 1:43:43Speaker 1: She's a bitch. Jennifer Hudson close, sir, it is Lozzo
- 1:43:54Speaker 1: now now I totally hear. Yeah, I know what. He's
- 1:43:57Speaker 1: not here to hate on liz O. And look, I
- 1:43:58Speaker 1: agree she's disgusting. However, I like this cover. She does
- 1:44:05Speaker 1: something different. It's kind of so many covers are basically
- 1:44:08Speaker 1: the same thing, just a different voice. This is a
- 1:44:10Speaker 1: different style remix. You can never know that Lizzelle is
- 1:44:14Speaker 1: not talented.
- 1:44:15Speaker 4: She's talented for sure. That version of the song makes
- 1:44:19Speaker 4: it almost, for lack of a better word, safe, like
- 1:44:21Speaker 4: you could hear that at a grocery store.
- 1:44:23Speaker 7: Yeah, you know, it's kind of upscalet.
- 1:44:27Speaker 4: Yeah, right, play that at the steakhouse, all right.
- 1:44:30Speaker 9: I actually like her.
- 1:44:31Speaker 7: I like her personality. I don't mind any of that.
- 1:44:34Speaker 7: But I personally have never really considered her a singer.
- 1:44:38Speaker 7: I think she's more of like an entertainer and she
- 1:44:40Speaker 7: kind of raps things and I like all that. But
- 1:44:42Speaker 7: is she considered like like someone with just an unbelievable voice.
- 1:44:47Speaker 1: Okay, but she's competent. I would say, all right, this
- 1:44:50Speaker 1: next one called Cowgirl will be I think much much easier.
- 1:44:54Speaker 1: But who's this.
- 1:45:01Speaker 3: Hilarious?
- 1:45:04Speaker 1: That's the text?
- 1:45:06Speaker 3: I have no idea.
- 1:45:08Speaker 8: Okay, here's another hit, one of the biggest songs, yes,
- 1:45:11Speaker 8: the past couple of years.
- 1:45:14Speaker 6: It's like the biggest song in the past couple of years.
- 1:45:18Speaker 1: Yeah, he's clearly doing a part two.
- 1:45:20Speaker 4: You can move to somebody else. I don't know.
- 1:45:23Speaker 1: My answer. Now, here's the problem with Chaboozi and Little
- 1:45:29Speaker 1: naz X. I remember I predicted at the time that
- 1:45:32Speaker 1: Little naz X would not have a career because he
- 1:45:33Speaker 1: wouldn't have a second song. He proved me home and
- 1:45:36Speaker 1: then he got real high and drunk and walked around
- 1:45:39Speaker 1: in his underwearing red.
- 1:45:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:45:40Speaker 1: I think Kaboozy is at that same problem. He had
- 1:45:42Speaker 1: a big hit and he hasn't had a second one.
- 1:45:45Speaker 1: Unless he does pretty soon he's gone.
- 1:45:47Speaker 8: I mean I have been at events where he's performed,
- 1:45:50Speaker 8: so he's able to do a full set. And in
- 1:45:52Speaker 8: country music is very repetitive and derivative, well versus other genres,
- 1:45:58Speaker 8: like they'll chew up and bit you out, like you.
- 1:46:01Speaker 1: Know, pop a rap, you've got to have a second hit, right, yeah,
- 1:46:04Speaker 1: but country music you can go off one hit and
- 1:46:07Speaker 1: do fairs and fairs and stuff. Yeah.
- 1:46:10Speaker 4: Just because Lil nas X was dressed awesome, it doesn't
- 1:46:13Speaker 4: mean he should have been arrested.
- 1:46:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I said, the legedly party, you don't know if
- 1:46:17Speaker 1: he was hired drunk.
- 1:46:21Speaker 6: It was like I said, if I look like that,
- 1:46:23Speaker 6: That's what.
- 1:46:23Speaker 1: I'd wear to work every day at like four am
- 1:46:26Speaker 1: on a Wednesday in the mid Street. And one more,
- 1:46:31Speaker 1: who dis again, this one should not be hard for anybody,
- 1:46:34Speaker 1: But who's singing this new song?
- 1:46:43Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:46:47Speaker 1: He already said his nickname once he did and with
- 1:46:50Speaker 1: an accident, and it might be there's actually two two
- 1:46:54Speaker 1: answers to this. One's the main artist and yeah, then
- 1:46:56Speaker 1: there's another one, right.
- 1:46:57Speaker 4: Well, the only one I'm thinking of, and it could
- 1:46:59Speaker 4: be so completely wrong as Pitbull.
- 1:47:01Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, that's it. There's somebody else I's gonna
- 1:47:04Speaker 1: heard the second persons Pitbull obviously that guy right there.
- 1:47:11Speaker 7: Oh, I assume it was bad Bunny John. I thought
- 1:47:17Speaker 7: this is a bad bunny song.
- 1:47:19Speaker 1: Uhana apparently apparently he is an Egyptian word for like
- 1:47:24Speaker 1: getting drunk, faded party in, et cetera. Doesn't know that
- 1:47:28Speaker 1: your Pitbull?
- 1:47:29Speaker 4: He really is.
- 1:47:32Speaker 1: I actually liked all three of those. Surprised at the loser.
- 1:47:35Speaker 7: One and Stevens. I don't think you're going to be
- 1:47:37Speaker 7: terribly shocked to hear this. I've interviewed Pitbull before, and
- 1:47:40Speaker 7: I have to say he didn't come across especially smart. Yes,
- 1:47:45Speaker 7: but he's very nice.
- 1:47:46Speaker 1: Well that's the thing I've always said about DJ Khaled,
- 1:47:49Speaker 1: who's obviously the same genre. Super nice dude, down to earth,
- 1:47:53Speaker 1: always cool with the fans, slow adult.
- 1:47:59Speaker 9: That's the thing.
- 1:47:59Speaker 1: Just because you're he's not super smart doesn't mean you
- 1:48:01Speaker 1: have to be mean and asked. He's be a nice guy.
- 1:48:03Speaker 1: I appreciate that.
- 1:48:04Speaker 4: Totally good variety there, Thank you very much. See Yeah,
- 1:48:08Speaker 4: we got more Woody Show coming up.
- 1:48:10Speaker 6: We'll be right, We'll be right, We'll be right back.
- 1:48:16Speaker 4: Welcome back to the Woody Show. What he is out,
- 1:48:18Speaker 4: he'll be back tomorrow. But that doesn't mean it's not
- 1:48:21Speaker 4: business as usual at Woody Show headquarters. And business as
- 1:48:24Speaker 4: usual on a throwback Thursday means we get to talk
- 1:48:27Speaker 4: to the Pride of Pacoima and all the other stuff
- 1:48:30Speaker 4: that what he normally.
- 1:48:31Speaker 1: Says, el president, all that stuff too.
- 1:48:33Speaker 4: Even though he says he's the vice president and then he's.
- 1:48:36Speaker 8: He's managing partner, then he's the principal Bacoima or something
- 1:48:40Speaker 8: like that, and all.
- 1:48:41Speaker 4: That stuff, all the stuff we're talking about. DJ Tim Martine, what.
- 1:48:48Speaker 1: Is that Woody Show minus Woody?
- 1:48:50Speaker 14: I know.
- 1:48:52Speaker 4: The cat is out in the miser plane. Yes, I
- 1:48:55Speaker 4: love that also with us of course, Jeff g what's
- 1:48:57Speaker 4: up Joe?
- 1:48:58Speaker 1: One of you guys.
- 1:48:58Speaker 4: Yes, Now, before we get into t O Tim, I
- 1:49:02Speaker 4: would be remiss if I didn't give a quick thank you,
- 1:49:04Speaker 4: Tim for the Woody.
- 1:49:06Speaker 1: Show prom throw at Its awesome.
- 1:49:09Speaker 4: I killed it, and I would like to especially comment
- 1:49:12Speaker 4: on the aesthetics. It looked so perfect. It was like
- 1:49:16Speaker 4: a legal wedding. Reception so well.
- 1:49:20Speaker 7: Looked incredible. The pictures, everybody's pictures, it looked like they were.
- 1:49:24Speaker 9: In like a music video.
- 1:49:25Speaker 1: I love that. I walked around and people were like, hey,
- 1:49:28Speaker 1: do you do weddings And I'm like, what does that mean?
- 1:49:31Speaker 4: Yeah, like a wedding planner.
- 1:49:33Speaker 1: Yes, And I'm like, no, I only do adult proms.
- 1:49:39Speaker 7: You have a very special niche look at this picture.
- 1:49:41Speaker 1: Wait, no, I should I showed that photo to so
- 1:49:44Speaker 1: many people. That is like the picture perfect.
- 1:49:48Speaker 7: It's because of your background. It looks like a music video.
- 1:49:52Speaker 1: It was you did such a good job. It looks
- 1:49:54Speaker 1: like yeah right.
- 1:49:56Speaker 15: I was like, look at this.
- 1:50:00Speaker 1: It was exactly like.
- 1:50:02Speaker 4: A balloon tunnel. But anyway, awesome job. I can't wait
- 1:50:06Speaker 4: for next year.
- 1:50:07Speaker 1: I'm already ready sweet.
- 1:50:09Speaker 4: And we are ready for Tim. This is when we
- 1:50:11Speaker 4: throw a question out, or Jeff does, and then we
- 1:50:14Speaker 4: try to guess what Tim would say about said question.
- 1:50:18Speaker 4: What we got for question one jets Actually Question one
- 1:50:22Speaker 4: comes from a listener.
- 1:50:28Speaker 1: What is something that is guaranteed to happen at a
- 1:50:30Speaker 1: Mexican wedding? What is something that is guaranteed to happen
- 1:50:34Speaker 1: at a Mexican wedding?
- 1:50:36Speaker 15: Not at the ceremony.
- 1:50:37Speaker 19: Necessarily, it could be the party after either way, the
- 1:50:40Speaker 19: entirety of the event.
- 1:50:42Speaker 1: I mean, there's so many things that happen here.
- 1:50:44Speaker 4: What is one thing guaranteed to happen?
- 1:50:49Speaker 7: I don't think I've ever been invited to a Mexican wedding,
- 1:50:51Speaker 7: so I just have to make something up.
- 1:50:53Speaker 1: Okay, I've been to some and this has happened every time,
- 1:50:59Speaker 1: so we have the same answer me too.
- 1:51:03Speaker 4: Okay, all right, m hmm, everybody's still guessing. Gina's writing,
- 1:51:14Speaker 4: all right, all right, all right, I mean so we
- 1:51:17Speaker 4: got well, well, first we'll throw out our guesses, right, yeah,
- 1:51:21Speaker 4: I'm I'm hesitant to go first. I want menace to go.
- 1:51:26Speaker 4: Mine down in very big detail.
- 1:51:34Speaker 8: Guarantee there is there's a disagreement at least the ones.
- 1:51:41Speaker 7: Every time fists are thrown.
- 1:51:44Speaker 1: I've I've been at weddings where the police showed up.
- 1:51:49Speaker 1: Dang what top of the Holiday Inn in Oakland, California.
- 1:51:57Speaker 4: I guess I will go next. And I've seen this
- 1:51:59Speaker 4: at many types of weddings. But I put money dance
- 1:52:03Speaker 4: with the satchel that they hold.
- 1:52:04Speaker 7: Okay, oh, the dollar dance, dollar dance.
- 1:52:08Speaker 1: I almost went there.
- 1:52:08Speaker 7: Okay, I don't know if this happens, but I'm basing
- 1:52:11Speaker 7: this on other cultures and certainly my my people. The
- 1:52:14Speaker 7: Jews of well of forces everyone to take home food. Okay,
- 1:52:19Speaker 7: all right, sure centers too, yeah, center VISs s.
- 1:52:23Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah yeah, I don't want those to good ways?
- 1:52:25Speaker 1: Would you put? All right?
- 1:52:26Speaker 19: My answer guaranteed to see a kid falling asleep on
- 1:52:28Speaker 19: a chair, he taps out like around nine.
- 1:52:32Speaker 1: And yeah, that was that was me. That was my
- 1:52:36Speaker 1: fifty to fifty. I went another route, but I aim
- 1:52:39Speaker 1: into that.
- 1:52:40Speaker 11: I actually went with like a prayer, like some sort
- 1:52:44Speaker 11: of prayer set because they're very Catholic, they're usually at churches.
- 1:52:47Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean that's not wrong. It guarantee, guaranteed there's
- 1:52:51Speaker 5: gonna be prayers happening.
- 1:52:53Speaker 1: All right, what's the official tim answer?
- 1:52:56Speaker 5: Okay, uh, this happens one hundred percent. At every Mexican way,
- 1:53:00Speaker 5: a drunk deal will.
- 1:53:02Speaker 9: Pop up, yes, like invited or uninvited.
- 1:53:06Speaker 1: We invited drunk deal all over the dance floor.
- 1:53:11Speaker 7: I love that.
- 1:53:12Speaker 1: But I strong shout out to Jeff G I do
- 1:53:15Speaker 1: agree with the kids. The parents party all night long, and.
- 1:53:19Speaker 7: He was like, yeah, just just go they're getting tired.
- 1:53:25Speaker 1: See the drunk uncle usually leads to menaces. There's a fight, bro,
- 1:53:30Speaker 1: I'm telling you there's a fight.
- 1:53:32Speaker 8: But yeah, my mother in law she loves weddings, Dude.
- 1:53:35Speaker 8: She turns up and like wants to be on the
- 1:53:38Speaker 8: dance floor like the entire time. So that's where she
- 1:53:41Speaker 8: gets it from.
- 1:53:41Speaker 4: Yeah, so I need to make friends with some younger
- 1:53:45Speaker 4: people nowadays, because all the weddings I've ever gone to,
- 1:53:48Speaker 4: they've already happened. Like I haven't been here away so long.
- 1:53:52Speaker 4: I bet you you would be a blast. I loved, yeah,
- 1:53:55Speaker 4: so much fun love weddings. We got another question for
- 1:53:59Speaker 4: t O Tim right a TAMN question number two? What
- 1:54:02Speaker 4: is the best Mexican beer?
- 1:54:04Speaker 1: Oh? Sorry, are you doing this in the States or.
- 1:54:09Speaker 12: What do we know?
- 1:54:13Speaker 1: Period? Okay?
- 1:54:16Speaker 9: I only know three?
- 1:54:18Speaker 1: I know, okay, all right, I know?
- 1:54:24Speaker 9: Is that one really Mexican?
- 1:54:25Speaker 1: All right? I'm gonna go with this.
- 1:54:28Speaker 5: If you say Budweiser, yeah, like ell Budweiser, Bud like Lime,
- 1:54:37Speaker 5: it has a hit there.
- 1:54:38Speaker 1: I just picked the one of three that I know,
- 1:54:40Speaker 1: all right, and there's there's four three really solid all right? Exactly?
- 1:54:44Speaker 7: Well, I hope I'm right I went with Modelo.
- 1:54:48Speaker 4: Okay, I was slightly more specific because I'm biased because
- 1:54:52Speaker 4: it's my favorite.
- 1:54:53Speaker 1: I put Negro. I'm gonna say that's two for two.
- 1:54:57Speaker 8: Yeah, I put Modello time. Yeah, that's it's always a requirement.
- 1:55:02Speaker 8: But I mean there's always Pacific in there.
- 1:55:05Speaker 4: I Tokati, Yeah yeah, Jeff G's got Medela.
- 1:55:15Speaker 1: That what do you have?
- 1:55:18Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:55:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I mean there's so many didn't get
- 1:55:29Speaker 1: any whoops? Awesome.
- 1:55:35Speaker 4: Well we'll have another round of Tim next next week
- 1:55:38Speaker 4: because it's just so hard. I'm sure there's a ton
- 1:55:41Speaker 4: more questions we can get to. First, we're going to
- 1:55:43Speaker 4: get to up in the club. We're gonna do that
- 1:55:45Speaker 4: next right here on the Woody Show. All right, well
- 1:55:52Speaker 4: let's throw back Thursday. Woodies back tomorrow and we are
- 1:55:54Speaker 4: fresh off around a t o Tim. I think it
- 1:55:56Speaker 4: was a solid round, Like none of the guest is
- 1:55:59Speaker 4: today out a lot. That's it's really fun. But the
- 1:56:04Speaker 4: business at hand, as always every Thursday, we go up
- 1:56:07Speaker 4: in the CLERB with DJ Tim Martinez, who graced us
- 1:56:10Speaker 4: the DJ Tim Martinez grace us at the Woody Show
- 1:56:13Speaker 4: prom which ruled a little impromptu set.
- 1:56:15Speaker 1: You know, a h J Spinosa was like, dude, people
- 1:56:19Speaker 1: need this, and I'm like, no, they really do. And
- 1:56:24Speaker 1: he was like, and I said, man, I'm sorry, like
- 1:56:27Speaker 1: I don't even know what all these buttons do. I mean,
- 1:56:29Speaker 1: technology has come so far in DJing. And he says,
- 1:56:32Speaker 1: don't worry about it. I got you. I'll be right
- 1:56:34Speaker 1: next to it, like he was literally holding my hand. Yeah,
- 1:56:38Speaker 1: were the anyway it was. It was actually so much fun.
- 1:56:42Speaker 1: I came home and I was like, I want to
- 1:56:43Speaker 1: get back.
- 1:56:44Speaker 14: In, but.
- 1:56:47Speaker 1: It was such a good time. It was great. I
- 1:56:49Speaker 1: would have been a deer in headlights. W man, you
- 1:56:53Speaker 1: want me to do?
- 1:56:54Speaker 8: What?
- 1:56:54Speaker 1: Yeah? That's crazy?
