- 0:02Speaker 1: To Teas in a Pod which Teddy Mellencamp and tam
- 0:06Speaker 1: Ri Jeedge. Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of to
- 0:15Speaker 1: Teas in a Pod, except it's only one tea and
- 0:21Speaker 1: an eve.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Guest co host Emily Simpson.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Hi, Hi, I'm excited.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Are you ready to get shady and do all the things? Oh?
- 0:31Speaker 3: My gosh, I always am in trouble anyway, so why
- 0:34Speaker 3: not let's do it?
- 0:35Speaker 2: Okay?
- 0:36Speaker 1: So, first couple of things I posted on my instant
- 0:39Speaker 1: story if anybody has questions for you. First thing that
- 0:42Speaker 1: people ask me, because Tama's going on vacation, Emily Simpson
- 0:45Speaker 1: will be filling in for Tamara. First question was, Teddy,
- 0:49Speaker 1: did you actually get to pick who you wanted to
- 0:54Speaker 1: co host with you?
- 0:56Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 0:56Speaker 3: I don't even know the answer to this.
- 0:59Speaker 1: I actually got to Well, first I was just like
- 1:03Speaker 1: kind of going through the list of people, and I
- 1:05Speaker 1: was like, all right, who don't like?
- 1:07Speaker 2: For me?
- 1:07Speaker 1: The guidelines are who doesn't take themselves too seriously?
- 1:11Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:12Speaker 1: Who's actually willing to do the work and watch the
- 1:16Speaker 1: shows and get invested because not everybody will. Some people
- 1:19Speaker 1: say they will, but then they half asset and I'm like, no,
- 1:23Speaker 1: she's like a lawyer, like she actually does.
- 1:25Speaker 3: So I do my homework, I do the research. If
- 1:27Speaker 3: I have an assignment, I do the assignment.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Okay, So those two things, and then plus, we've always
- 1:33Speaker 1: had so much fun with you, and no matter what
- 1:36Speaker 1: we're watching on the show or not, I feel like
- 1:38Speaker 1: you're always going to give your opinion, which is what
- 1:41Speaker 1: I want, even if it's not my opinion, though mine
- 1:44Speaker 1: is normally the right one. Oh my gosh, Okay, that
- 1:50Speaker 1: will free Well, we will see, we'll see. And something
- 1:55Speaker 1: I was curious about, Yeah, because once we asked you,
- 1:59Speaker 1: you had to go back because you hadn't been watching
- 2:01Speaker 1: New York nor Salt like no or ing. So, yeah,
- 2:06Speaker 1: you've never watched Going Into any reunion or anything.
- 2:10Speaker 2: You've never watched the episodes.
- 2:12Speaker 1: No, So how was it sitting down and binge watching
- 2:18Speaker 1: New York and Salt Lake?
- 2:22Speaker 3: You know? I mean it was a lot of pressure
- 2:23Speaker 3: because I was like, oh my god, when I was
- 2:24Speaker 3: on vacation. So when we got back from vacation, I
- 2:26Speaker 3: had to just like sit and binge all of them.
- 2:28Speaker 3: But I don't I mean, I actually enjoyed it. I
- 2:31Speaker 3: was like, oh no, I get it now. I understand
- 2:33Speaker 3: why people watch. It's kind of entertaining.
- 2:37Speaker 1: And if you had to pick, would you rather if
- 2:39Speaker 1: you had to pick which cast you were going to
- 2:41Speaker 1: be on, would you rather be on New York or
- 2:42Speaker 1: Salt Lake?
- 2:44Speaker 3: Well, I mean, I love the ladies on New York,
- 2:47Speaker 3: but as far as my personality and me, I feel
- 2:49Speaker 3: like I fit better with Salt Lake.
- 2:51Speaker 2: And who would be your best friend on salt Lake?
- 2:53Speaker 1: Well?
- 2:53Speaker 3: Probably Lisa Barlowe, because I do know Lisa and I am.
- 2:56Speaker 3: We do chat, you know, kind of often, so but
- 3:00Speaker 3: you know, you never know.
- 3:00Speaker 2: How can you're not child Lisa? She never stops talking.
- 3:03Speaker 2: I know.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Well basically what I mean is she talks and I
- 3:06Speaker 3: just sit and listen. That's what I meant by talk.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Other questions for you were, what is it that shifted
- 3:17Speaker 1: that made you want to do like this fitness lifestyle change?
- 3:22Speaker 2: Was there like a defining moment?
- 3:26Speaker 3: You know? I posted today and I said when I
- 3:29Speaker 3: turned forty two, which happens to coincide with exactly when
- 3:32Speaker 3: I went on the show, was age forty two. I
- 3:35Speaker 3: gained forty pounds just and I didn't change anything in
- 3:37Speaker 3: my lifestyle. It's not like I went out and changed
- 3:39Speaker 3: my diet, or I got depressed, or I mean, I
- 3:42Speaker 3: think it was all hormonal and just being middle aged
- 3:44Speaker 3: and you know, probably dealing with the show and not
- 3:47Speaker 3: dealing with it well. And for five years I've had,
- 3:50Speaker 3: you know, an extra forty pounds on. And I said,
- 3:52Speaker 3: you know, I still wore a bathing suit all five seasons.
- 3:55Speaker 3: I walked around. I never cared, but I wasn't comfortable.
- 3:59Speaker 3: It's not I didn't feel like myself, and so I
- 4:01Speaker 3: really just wanted to feel like myself again. And so
- 4:05Speaker 3: that's why I really committed to it. I was tired
- 4:07Speaker 3: of feeling I'm tired of being tired, and tired of
- 4:09Speaker 3: my clothes not fitting, and tired of not feeling like me.
- 4:13Speaker 1: And I think something that you did just say that
- 4:16Speaker 1: a lot of people can't was even when you weren't
- 4:19Speaker 1: feeling like yourself, it doesn't mean that you still don't
- 4:23Speaker 1: love yourself, or you're still not body positive or wherever. Yeah,
- 4:27Speaker 1: it is that we all currently are because I've been
- 4:29Speaker 1: in the same situation. It's just wanting to get to
- 4:33Speaker 1: a place where you feel better personally. It's not like
- 4:37Speaker 1: for everybody else, it's for us.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Yeah, and I hate it. And you know, the comment
- 4:41Speaker 3: that I get that I can't stand is when people
- 4:43Speaker 3: are like, oh, you live in Orange County, you conformed. Conformed?
- 4:47Speaker 3: First of all, I'm brunette. I'm five foot nine. I
- 4:50Speaker 3: outweigh all these bitches in Orange County by fifty pounds.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Even when I'm at my fennis. There is no conforming,
- 4:56Speaker 3: Like I clearly didn't conform, and my husband's Mormon, Like,
- 4:59Speaker 3: I'm like non conforming. I just want to feel healthy
- 5:03Speaker 3: and fit and have energy. I mean, what's wrong with that?
- 5:06Speaker 3: Every woman wants to feel like that. Yeah, why not?
- 5:08Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, you just reminded me that Shane's Mormons.
- 5:11Speaker 2: We have so much more insight on salt Lake.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Like, No, I was watching salt Lake and I was like,
- 5:16Speaker 3: you girls should really have Shane on here, not me, Like,
- 5:19Speaker 3: why is he not doing why is he not recapping
- 5:21Speaker 3: salt Lake? He's got so many opinions. Well, I do have.
- 5:25Speaker 1: We have a couple questions that maybe if he can,
- 5:27Speaker 1: he can chime in and give us the answers to
- 5:29Speaker 1: because I am a little confused about it. And I
- 5:32Speaker 1: got a tongue lashing by some of our listeners because
- 5:35Speaker 1: I thought I knew the answers because I have some
- 5:37Speaker 1: people that are LDS that work with me, and.
- 5:39Speaker 2: I've heard that.
- 5:40Speaker 1: But what I've learned is in the Mormon community, it's
- 5:43Speaker 1: not like the same rules everybody applies to their life.
- 5:48Speaker 2: It's a little bit skewed well.
- 5:50Speaker 3: And I and you know, I also feel like with
- 5:52Speaker 3: Mormonism or LDS and these women on Salt Lake City
- 5:56Speaker 3: are in Utah, and when you're talking about Heather, you're
- 5:59Speaker 3: talking about someone that comes from a long line of
- 6:01Speaker 3: family that are that have been Mormon throughout their whole life.
- 6:05Speaker 3: And a lot of times I think doctrine, like actual
- 6:09Speaker 3: written doctrine, gets confused with just how things have been
- 6:13Speaker 3: done in that family and in Utah. And I don't know.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Shane's like an Orange County Mormon, so a lot of
- 6:18Speaker 3: times he's like, I don't even know what they're talking about.
- 6:20Speaker 3: So I think there's a huge difference between Utah and Orange.
- 6:27Speaker 3: He's an Orange County Mormon.
- 6:28Speaker 1: I don't know the question, did you and Shane consummate
- 6:33Speaker 1: your marriage prior to getting married?
- 6:36Speaker 3: No, he doesn't, he doesn't. He's such a good he's
- 6:39Speaker 3: a good he's a good Mormon. Yeah, so hold on,
- 6:42Speaker 3: did you soak first? Soak? What is that? I don't
- 6:45Speaker 3: even know what that means?
- 6:46Speaker 1: What soaking is where you put it in, but you
- 6:49Speaker 1: don't penetrate, like you know.
- 6:51Speaker 3: If it's in, how are you not penetrating?
- 6:53Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 6:54Speaker 1: These are things terms I've learned, like you you go in,
- 6:58Speaker 1: but you don't go up like this, what is this word?
- 7:02Speaker 2: You'll learn? Vocabulary is not my strong suit.
- 7:05Speaker 3: I don't I don't know either way.
- 7:08Speaker 2: It goes in, but you don't go there's no friction, Oh,
- 7:10Speaker 2: there's no thrusting.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Oh, so apparently there's a loophole. It's like, how there's
- 7:16Speaker 1: a loophole you can drink Monster Energy drinks so you
- 7:19Speaker 1: can't drink a coffee.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, I don't know about those loopholes. I was trying.
- 7:24Speaker 3: I actually had a long conversation with Shane about those
- 7:26Speaker 3: because I didn't understand it either, And I don't know
- 7:29Speaker 3: if I ever got like a straight answer. Like a
- 7:30Speaker 3: lot of it was like, well it's suggested. I'm like, well,
- 7:33Speaker 3: is it written? Is it suggested?
- 7:35Speaker 2: Like? I don't get it, And at what point do
- 7:37Speaker 2: you get ousted?
- 7:38Speaker 1: Because we're watching this season of Lisa Barlow and then
- 7:40Speaker 1: we'll get into housewife atalize on all this stuff. But
- 7:43Speaker 1: this season on Lisa Barlow's son is going on a mission.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Lisa Barlow's son, as you saw in one of the
- 7:49Speaker 1: earlier episodes, says he's going on a mission. But then
- 7:52Speaker 1: we're also seeing Lisa Barlow. She has a tequila company,
- 7:56Speaker 1: she drinks, she does all the things. When it comes
- 8:00Speaker 1: to your kids, yeah, and growing up, like you have
- 8:04Speaker 1: a son, two yeah, two sons, how would you feel
- 8:08Speaker 1: about him wanting to go on a mission or them
- 8:11Speaker 1: becoming lds?
- 8:12Speaker 3: Oh? I know, you know that is so hard. That's
- 8:14Speaker 3: been a struggle just because Shane is Mormon, and I
- 8:18Speaker 3: respect him. He's my husband, so I respect him. I
- 8:20Speaker 3: respect his religion, I respect his decisions. It's it's difficult
- 8:24Speaker 3: when it comes to our children because I'm not religious
- 8:27Speaker 3: and I don't even know a lot about his religion.
- 8:29Speaker 3: I ask questions and we have conversations, but then I
- 8:31Speaker 3: just kind of get bored and I like kind of
- 8:33Speaker 3: bow out. So you know, Shane went on a mission.
- 8:38Speaker 2: So did he meet his first wife?
- 8:41Speaker 3: No, not on a mission. I don't even know where
- 8:43Speaker 3: he'm as first wife. You tall, So I don't know,
- 8:46Speaker 3: I don't know where. Yeah, you know what, I would
- 8:48Speaker 3: be okay with it just because I think it's such
- 8:51Speaker 3: a growth experience. Shane's oldest daughter, Shelby, went on a mission,
- 8:54Speaker 3: and I tell you, she was a totally different person
- 8:55Speaker 3: when she came back. She was more mature, she was
- 8:58Speaker 3: she spoke better, she was helpful around the house when
- 9:03Speaker 3: before she was in her room was always a mess.
- 9:04Speaker 3: She came back for her mission and she was like,
- 9:06Speaker 3: how can I help? She was doing dishes, she was
- 9:08Speaker 3: making her bed. I was like, can I send all
- 9:10Speaker 3: my kids on the mission? Like this is amazing? Can
- 9:12Speaker 3: they go? Like?
- 9:13Speaker 2: Can I send Shame back on another mission?
- 9:16Speaker 3: I mean they come back and they're like helpful, and
- 9:18Speaker 3: they're mature and they speak well, and I don't know,
- 9:22Speaker 3: I thought it was a really good experience.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Well, okay, well I like it.
- 9:26Speaker 1: But on your Instagram you've been posting about something that
- 9:29Speaker 1: you got done to your eyes. I've always been really
- 9:31Speaker 1: open about, you know, my necklift or botox or any
- 9:35Speaker 1: of the things.
- 9:36Speaker 2: So what exactly did you get done? What's the sinch?
- 9:39Speaker 3: It's called a bleff. I don't know what the whole
- 9:41Speaker 3: word is obviously it's like a long medical term, but
- 9:44Speaker 3: the term is bleff b l E p H. And
- 9:47Speaker 3: it's where they just where it's a simple surgery. I
- 9:50Speaker 3: was awake during the whole thing. It's where they just
- 9:52Speaker 3: cut out that you know, that layer of skin where
- 9:54Speaker 3: my guy friend just did this. Yeah, and it starts
- 9:56Speaker 3: to it starts to fall. I noticed in photos of
- 10:00Speaker 3: myself that I didn't have eyes anymore. It was just
- 10:02Speaker 3: eyelashes and lips. That was it. There were like no eyeballs.
- 10:06Speaker 2: So you like go to put makeup on and this
- 10:08Speaker 2: part would like move around.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Yeah, and it was like low, you know what I mean.
- 10:11Speaker 3: Like it was like I literally didn't have any eyeballs.
- 10:14Speaker 3: I mean I have small eyes anyway. So then when
- 10:16Speaker 3: they when I start to get old and it starts
- 10:17Speaker 3: to droop, there's just like nothing. It was just like
- 10:19Speaker 3: eyelashes and big lips. That was it.
- 10:21Speaker 2: No, I never noticed for the record, but I know it's.
- 10:24Speaker 3: So it's finally healed. It's been like three weeks now.
- 10:28Speaker 3: But it's nice. There's more space up there now.
- 10:30Speaker 2: So was it painful?
- 10:33Speaker 3: Uh No, not really. I mean the actual procedure wasn't painful.
- 10:36Speaker 3: It took about an hour and a half and he
- 10:38Speaker 3: did it. You know, I was awake. I mean, it's awkward.
- 10:40Speaker 3: You know, you're laying there, you know, while someone's cutting
- 10:43Speaker 3: your eye, you can feel pressure. And then I was
- 10:45Speaker 3: sore the next day. And it's kind of hard to
- 10:47Speaker 3: see because it's all you know, you're cut and it's bleedy,
- 10:50Speaker 3: and you know, but I healed really quickly, really nicely.
- 10:54Speaker 2: So well, it looks beautiful. Thank you for being so transparent.
- 11:08Speaker 1: No matter what, me and Tamra get ourselves in hot
- 11:11Speaker 1: water in some capacity, so lucky for you while you're
- 11:14Speaker 1: filling in for her, I'm sure you can get yourself
- 11:17Speaker 1: in more.
- 11:18Speaker 2: This first one was talk.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Of shames Instagram. I had no idea, and then all
- 11:25Speaker 1: of a sudden, everyone started sending me this. Tamra and
- 11:29Speaker 1: Teddy's pod interview with Erica Jane has entered the Tom
- 11:33Speaker 1: Girardi competency chat. Erica Jane's interview on To Teas and
- 11:36Speaker 1: a Pod just got introduced as evidence on the Tom
- 11:39Speaker 1: Girardi's competency hearing. Erica said on to Teas in a
- 11:42Speaker 1: Pod that Tom asked how her show was doing. The
- 11:46Speaker 1: defense has been arguing that this type of dementia that
- 11:49Speaker 1: Tom has means he can't retain new memories. But the
- 11:53Speaker 1: prosecution is trying to show through this podcast that he
- 11:56Speaker 1: is aware of things happening in current time.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Okay, how normal is.
- 12:02Speaker 1: It in like the court of law that they're gonna
- 12:05Speaker 1: go to like a gossip Bravo podcast and pull like
- 12:10Speaker 1: it was.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Well, they're clearly following everything Erica Jane closely, you know,
- 12:14Speaker 3: because they're trying to look for some evidence of you know,
- 12:18Speaker 3: her having conversations with him, and so it just happened
- 12:20Speaker 3: to that they found some evidence on your podcast. Good job,
- 12:24Speaker 3: way to go. I feel like you guys should get like.
- 12:27Speaker 2: A medal or something.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I was like, are we official journalists now? Like I
- 12:33Speaker 1: can't hope.
- 12:35Speaker 3: You don't get called to testify.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Oh my god, Joe, I have If you get called
- 12:39Speaker 1: to testify, do you have to testify?
- 12:42Speaker 3: I think it just depends. I mean, you could get subpoenaed,
- 12:44Speaker 3: but I don't I don't know exactly. I don't know.
- 12:48Speaker 3: It depends on the circumstances and what they want you
- 12:50Speaker 3: to testify about. And I mean, I'm just joking. I
- 12:53Speaker 3: don't think they're going to call you to testify. I
- 12:54Speaker 3: don't think so it's all happen. They have the evidence
- 12:57Speaker 3: that they want. It's her, it's her talking about out.
- 13:00Speaker 3: I mean, what are you gonna do? Just confirm what's
- 13:02Speaker 3: on the video.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I was under the influence during the pod. I can't remember, right, Okay.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Then the next one is the Real Housewives of New
- 13:13Speaker 1: York seating chart. So we've got Andy in the middle.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Then we've got Jessel Bred and Uba on one side,
- 13:22Speaker 1: and then on the other side we have Aaron, Jenna
- 13:26Speaker 1: and side.
- 13:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Is this what you expected now that you've watched all
- 13:31Speaker 2: of the episodes?
- 13:32Speaker 3: Yeah, now that I've watched all of them. At one time,
- 13:34Speaker 3: I didn't expect Jessel by Andy. I wouldn't have done that.
- 13:38Speaker 3: But I mean, who would you have put there? Probably Brenn.
- 13:42Speaker 3: I just thought she. I just thought she was a lot.
- 13:45Speaker 3: But you know, seating charts, Honestly, people make a big
- 13:48Speaker 3: deal out of seating charts. But can I just confirm
- 13:50Speaker 3: that I'm always on the end and I'm still here
- 13:51Speaker 3: after five years.
- 13:53Speaker 2: And I can confirm that I was always in the middle,
- 13:55Speaker 2: and I'm gone.
- 13:58Speaker 3: I am always on the end. I feel like they're like,
- 14:00Speaker 3: you know, who are we gonna put on the end?
- 14:01Speaker 3: Emily definitely put Emily on the end.
- 14:04Speaker 1: But I do think there is something to be said
- 14:06Speaker 1: about first seat whether I don't think this two and
- 14:10Speaker 1: three really makes that big of a difference.
- 14:12Speaker 2: I think first seat is like a sign of who
- 14:15Speaker 2: Andy is really enjoying. It's just my guess.
- 14:19Speaker 3: I don't know if it's enjoying as much as it's
- 14:21Speaker 3: that person had a lot of things going on and
- 14:23Speaker 3: a lot to talk about, so they're closest to Andy,
- 14:26Speaker 3: I know.
- 14:26Speaker 1: I actually was a little bit shocked though, even though
- 14:29Speaker 1: I don't think she's been a part of the drama.
- 14:30Speaker 1: But I thought Jenna would be first seat because she
- 14:36Speaker 1: seems like the.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Like almost like the top.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Dog, and like she's the HBIC.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, she's definitely the HBIC. Yeah, they're all she's
- 14:46Speaker 2: the name.
- 14:47Speaker 1: She's also the one that I feel like all the
- 14:50Speaker 1: women are a little scared to fuck with.
- 14:52Speaker 3: They are, they really are. But they like to do
- 14:55Speaker 3: it when she's not around though, Yeah, they like to
- 14:58Speaker 3: do it when she's not around.
- 14:59Speaker 1: And but they also I think there's a bit of intimidation.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I think so too. I mean they're always like, oh,
- 15:09Speaker 3: it's General Lyons, It's General Alliance. I mean, I didn't
- 15:11Speaker 3: know who Genal Lyons was, but I just you know,
- 15:14Speaker 3: I watched ten episodes at one time, and clearly like
- 15:16Speaker 3: she was by far, like the biggest name on that show.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Because everybody's like, it's Gena Allons. We're in Genal Lion's closet,
- 15:22Speaker 3: this is General Lions shoes, this is General Lyon's you
- 15:25Speaker 3: know chair. So I was like, oh, well, she's a
- 15:27Speaker 3: big deal, right.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Apparently she's a really big job.
- 15:31Speaker 1: We also wouldn't be considered New York socialites, so I
- 15:34Speaker 1: think that we're able to.
- 15:37Speaker 3: I can barely hang out in Orange County, like they
- 15:39Speaker 3: just let me live here.
- 15:42Speaker 1: I barely read this podcast. This is where I actually
- 15:48Speaker 1: reside Spinner time. We'll get back into New York after
- 15:56Speaker 1: we've got some Bethany Frankel news. Okay, Bethany gets back
- 16:02Speaker 1: backlash over giving used makeup to TJ Max employee. The
- 16:06Speaker 1: video has been deleted, but don't worry, I took the
- 16:08Speaker 1: time to rewatch it. Glorified gossip Girls Instagram has been
- 16:13Speaker 1: posting some of her comments. So just to give you
- 16:15Speaker 1: guys any backstory, if you haven't seen she Essentially she
- 16:20Speaker 1: does these makeup tutorials or whatever they are, where she
- 16:24Speaker 1: talks about her favorite makeup brands, she tries them on,
- 16:27Speaker 1: says this one's worth it, this one's not. She's made
- 16:30Speaker 1: a big thing of it on TikTok. People love it
- 16:32Speaker 1: or they don't. You know, she's a polarizing person regardless.
- 16:36Speaker 1: But she does this thing where she shows up to
- 16:39Speaker 1: TJ Max with all of her used makeup.
- 16:42Speaker 3: It's so cringey. I couldn't even watch it. I mean
- 16:46Speaker 3: it gave me a stomach ache. I'm not even kidding
- 16:49Speaker 3: so bad. I mean, I think there's a difference.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Okay, I don't have a problem with use makeup. So
- 16:54Speaker 1: like if I when it comes to like if you
- 16:56Speaker 1: and I were sitting at dinner, yeah, and you were like,
- 16:59Speaker 1: oh you, I was like, oh shoot, I need lip
- 17:01Speaker 1: gloss and I was like, oh my gosh, I love it.
- 17:03Speaker 2: I'm obsessed, and you were like, have this one. I
- 17:05Speaker 2: have another one?
- 17:06Speaker 3: Yeah. That So I feel like that's completely appropriate between friends,
- 17:10Speaker 3: you know. I mean I get sent a bunch of
- 17:12Speaker 3: free stuff too, not like the level of Bethany Frankel,
- 17:14Speaker 3: but I mean I get stuff away to friends, even
- 17:16Speaker 3: if and I can see even if you tried it
- 17:18Speaker 3: once and you're like, it's not really my color, not
- 17:20Speaker 3: really my thing, but do you want it? It would be
- 17:21Speaker 3: great for you. Like, I don't have a problem with that.
- 17:25Speaker 3: I think the problem is just the cringiness of walking
- 17:28Speaker 3: into a public space with a huge bag full of
- 17:31Speaker 3: makeup that's been used one time and trying to pawn
- 17:34Speaker 3: it off on poor Kenzuela. Yeah, And that was like,
- 17:38Speaker 3: I was like, she just wouldn't stop. She's like, no,
- 17:41Speaker 3: take it like you want it. And you could tell
- 17:43Speaker 3: the woman like didn't want to have anything to do
- 17:45Speaker 3: with it.
- 17:45Speaker 2: She didn't know what was going on.
- 17:46Speaker 3: I'm sure she didn't consent to being on her video.
- 17:49Speaker 3: I mean, it was so bad.
- 17:51Speaker 1: It would not only was it so bad, she said
- 17:54Speaker 1: to my friend. And then she didn't even know Constreila's name,
- 17:58Speaker 1: I know, and then she just kept going. And the
- 18:02Speaker 1: part that really got me was now she already doesn't
- 18:05Speaker 1: want your used products. She can tell she's uncomfortable, you
- 18:07Speaker 1: can tell she doesn't want to be videoed. But then
- 18:09Speaker 1: she says, I'm not allowed to take this because I'm
- 18:11Speaker 1: at work. And then Bethany as if she owns TJ Max.
- 18:16Speaker 3: It's like, I'll reach out. Yes, let me, let me
- 18:20Speaker 3: get my people to reach out to their people, and
- 18:22Speaker 3: I will make this happen. You can take my used makeup.
- 18:24Speaker 3: It's not a problem. I will fix this. I will
- 18:26Speaker 3: reach out. I was like, mine, goodness, let it go.
- 18:30Speaker 1: And I just kind of wonder what kind of complex
- 18:33Speaker 1: you have to have to get to that point, Because
- 18:36Speaker 1: now she did an additional post which I think is
- 18:39Speaker 1: also deleted, where it may not be deleted. I hope
- 18:43Speaker 1: it was deleted because I felt awkward watching it where
- 18:47Speaker 1: she talks about, yes, cancel me because I regift. Listen,
- 18:53Speaker 1: I also regift if somebody gives me a nice candle
- 18:56Speaker 1: and at somebody's like housewarming, all that nice candle unopened
- 19:02Speaker 1: to my friend. Yeah, but the way that she says
- 19:05Speaker 1: it is not like I'm giving regifting to my friend.
- 19:08Speaker 1: She always tries to say her regifting is to someone
- 19:11Speaker 1: that's in a position where they work for her or
- 19:14Speaker 1: they've done something nice for her, or like it's always
- 19:18Speaker 1: like I don't know, I just don't like that, like
- 19:22Speaker 1: I am above everybody.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Well, yeah, the gifting wasn't a regifting like you and
- 19:27Speaker 3: I regift at Christmas time, I find some you know,
- 19:29Speaker 3: makeup in my closet to give to like the kids,
- 19:31Speaker 3: teacher or something like. That's the kind of regifting I do.
- 19:34Speaker 3: And it's brand new. It's never been open too, yes,
- 19:36Speaker 3: but this is like and she kept calling it brand new,
- 19:39Speaker 3: but she'd be like, it's brand new, but I only
- 19:40Speaker 3: used it once. But it's brand new, but I only
- 19:42Speaker 3: used it once, Like I mean, like I'm gonna go
- 19:44Speaker 3: to like I'm gonna go to you know, to Trader
- 19:47Speaker 3: Joe's and get milk that's only been used once. Like now, yeah,
- 19:54Speaker 3: brand new. I just respired yet, so it's fine.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Well, she also did where she gave makeup to workers
- 20:01Speaker 2: at a mini mart, and then somebody comments, why is
- 20:05Speaker 2: the assumption that Consuela can't afford a Patrick taw palette
- 20:09Speaker 2: genuine question been a long time follower, and she writes back,
- 20:15Speaker 2: she's a cashier at TJ.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Max, Oh my goodness, and.
- 20:22Speaker 2: I just.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Listen, I personally don't. It's just so out of touch.
- 20:28Speaker 1: I personally don't even want to spend that kind of
- 20:32Speaker 1: money for makeup myself. So I understand that she's saying
- 20:36Speaker 1: it's expensive, But if you've opened that shit and you
- 20:38Speaker 1: don't personally know the person, you don't give.
- 20:42Speaker 2: It to anyone.
- 20:43Speaker 3: Yeah, it's the assumption that I think is so cringey.
- 20:45Speaker 3: It's just the assumption that you know that people that
- 20:48Speaker 3: work at TJ Max can't afford makeup, and it's so cringing.
- 20:51Speaker 3: And she doubled down on it, like she knows that
- 20:53Speaker 3: people are talking about this, they're talking about it negatively,
- 20:55Speaker 3: like we can't believe that you did this, And she
- 20:57Speaker 3: instead of like recognizing that maybe it was cringey and
- 21:01Speaker 3: something that she did wrong, she doubles down. She's like
- 21:04Speaker 3: me because she works at TJ Max. That's a lot.
- 21:08Speaker 2: But also, do.
- 21:09Speaker 1: You find it something that you do where you would
- 21:12Speaker 1: film yourself doing any of your good deeds, Like, it's
- 21:14Speaker 1: one thing if you're doing it on a television show,
- 21:16Speaker 1: you're living out your regular life and whatever maybe that
- 21:19Speaker 1: you're doing, that's one thing. Right when you're if you
- 21:22Speaker 1: were to decide to like go through Starbucks sign where
- 21:25Speaker 1: occasionally you know you'll pay for the person behind you.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Yeah, and I'm filming it, filming it. Look look what
- 21:31Speaker 3: I'm doing.
- 21:33Speaker 2: But by the way, that's actually a good deed. That's different.
- 21:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. I mean it's like, when her
- 21:39Speaker 3: purpose is to be altruistic, then just be altruistic. You
- 21:42Speaker 3: don't have to like put Consuela in your video and
- 21:45Speaker 3: to make it look like you're a good person. Just
- 21:48Speaker 3: be a good person. None haves to document somebody.
- 21:51Speaker 2: And don't call somebody your friend if you don't know
- 21:53Speaker 2: their fucking name. I think that's a general rule.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean that's that's like rule one oh one,
- 21:58Speaker 3: you know in humanity, like, yeah, here's my friend, I'm sorry,
- 22:02Speaker 3: what's your name? What's your name?
- 22:03Speaker 1: And also I want to get Kenzuela on the phone
- 22:06Speaker 1: and be like, I need to know if you actually
- 22:10Speaker 1: ever complimented her all the time she's come in and
- 22:13Speaker 1: purchased makeup, Has it always been you at this station?
- 22:17Speaker 2: Like or did she just pick anybody random?
- 22:20Speaker 3: It was anyone random. And I didn't even understand what
- 22:23Speaker 3: she was saying they compliment her on She was like,
- 22:24Speaker 3: they compliment me on my purchases or something like on
- 22:27Speaker 3: her purchases like good job buying makeup. Like I don't
- 22:30Speaker 3: understand compliment her on her purchases.
- 22:33Speaker 1: It's one thing food. Sometimes we will be like, oh,
- 22:35Speaker 1: that's my favorite yummy.
- 22:37Speaker 3: But like, I don't know any who Isn't she a
- 22:40Speaker 3: big advocate for you know, reality TV and you know,
- 22:42Speaker 3: people should unionize and they should get paid what they're worth.
- 22:46Speaker 3: And she made Consuela a reality star without giving her
- 22:49Speaker 3: a contract or money. True, I think that, you know.
- 22:55Speaker 1: In closing, I think Bethany is a big advocate for
- 22:58Speaker 1: herself and she figures out anyway that she can get
- 23:01Speaker 1: pressed and listen, you do you, but when you do
- 23:05Speaker 1: make a mistake and listen, I put my foot in
- 23:07Speaker 1: my mouth all the fucking time.
- 23:08Speaker 2: But if I do make a mistake, I'm gonna say
- 23:10Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, let me ask you a question. If you
- 23:13Speaker 3: were gonna, okay, you have your phone and you go
- 23:16Speaker 3: into a public place, would you ask the person there
- 23:19Speaker 3: before you film them and put them up on your Instagram?
- 23:21Speaker 3: You know where you have like a million followers. I mean,
- 23:23Speaker 3: I don't know how many followers Bethany has. I assume
- 23:25Speaker 3: it's millions. Yeah.
- 23:26Speaker 1: I mean the other day I was going into a
- 23:29Speaker 1: doctor's office and we had to run through like a
- 23:31Speaker 1: full sprinkler system because a truck had hit like whatever,
- 23:36Speaker 1: the water thing and it was everywhere, and I did
- 23:38Speaker 1: a video of it because it was hilarious, and before
- 23:40Speaker 1: I posted, I looked behind me at the two other
- 23:42Speaker 1: women and said, hey, guys, I know you don't even
- 23:44Speaker 1: know who I am or anything, but I have a
- 23:46Speaker 1: good amount of followers on Instagram.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Are you okay with your face being in the background
- 23:50Speaker 2: of this shit show?
- 23:51Speaker 1: And they were both like, oh, yeah, it's totally fine, right,
- 23:54Speaker 1: Like I think there's a level of respect, just like
- 23:55Speaker 1: posting somebody else's kids or somebody at their job.
- 24:00Speaker 3: It's just I don't know, I think it's but you know,
- 24:04Speaker 3: and even the difference in that story that you just told,
- 24:06Speaker 3: those are people in the background, Like you weren't making
- 24:08Speaker 3: the video about them, like she made the video. The
- 24:11Speaker 3: video is about Gonzuela. Yeah, I mean she's the star
- 24:15Speaker 3: of the video. She didn't even I mean, yours are
- 24:19Speaker 3: just background actors that just happened to like be in
- 24:21Speaker 3: the shot.
- 24:22Speaker 2: I mean by alone shot. Yeah, like the fault they
- 24:27Speaker 2: had to be.
- 24:27Speaker 3: There, right, And you still ask them how good would
- 24:30Speaker 3: it have.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Been if Consuela was like, this is my first day, right,
- 24:34Speaker 1: She's like, and I don't know who you are, and
- 24:37Speaker 1: we're not from get out. Oh my gosh, all right,
- 24:40Speaker 1: you guys, we're gonna take a quick break and then
- 24:42Speaker 1: we'll come back and we will recap the Real Housewives
- 24:44Speaker 1: of New York. So we are back to recap the
- 24:57Speaker 1: Real Housewives of New York. It starts off which Vessel
- 25:00Speaker 1: says she thinks that Aaron does not believe that she
- 25:03Speaker 1: grew up with nothing. Uba says, who is anyone to
- 25:07Speaker 1: question where someone came from and how much money they
- 25:10Speaker 1: had in their account? Jessel says she does not have
- 25:13Speaker 1: to explain herself to anyone. Okay, do we think that
- 25:16Speaker 1: Jessel is trying to create a storyline that paints a
- 25:18Speaker 1: different portrait from the truth or do you think she
- 25:20Speaker 1: was just sharing her story and is long winded.
- 25:23Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean, I kind of can go
- 25:25Speaker 3: either way. I really don't know. I when she was
- 25:28Speaker 3: talking and she was explaining the uncles and living in
- 25:31Speaker 3: Paris and like there's a painter or something, I was like,
- 25:33Speaker 3: what the hell is she talking about? Like this doesn't
- 25:35Speaker 3: make any sense to me at all? How did we
- 25:37Speaker 3: get here? We're in Paris and we're talking about a
- 25:39Speaker 3: photographer or something. But then she just, you know, she
- 25:43Speaker 3: swore up and down. They're like, she came from nothing,
- 25:46Speaker 3: and you know she only had twenty dollars when she
- 25:47Speaker 3: went to New York. And then in my mind, I'm thinking,
- 25:50Speaker 3: why would someone make that up? I mean, if I
- 25:52Speaker 3: grew up wealthy, I would just own it and be like, yeah,
- 25:54Speaker 3: I grow up wealthy. So I don't know, I don't
- 25:56Speaker 3: really know. I guess I'm split on that. I don't know.
- 25:59Speaker 2: I'm I was split on it too.
- 26:00Speaker 1: And then I watched Aaron on Watch What Happens Live
- 26:03Speaker 1: whatever it was last night or two nights ago, and
- 26:06Speaker 1: she said, what what Jessel didn't actually realize is that
- 26:10Speaker 1: if you're in a situation where you can live with
- 26:14Speaker 1: your uncle and you can have an internship where you're
- 26:18Speaker 1: not being paid, that itself is a privilege.
- 26:20Speaker 3: Yeah, And I know Aaron said the uncle was wealthy.
- 26:24Speaker 3: Is that confirmed? Like was he a wealthy uncle or
- 26:26Speaker 3: do we not know? I don't think.
- 26:28Speaker 1: I mean, I I think he's a wealthy uncle. I
- 26:31Speaker 1: think he's a wealthy uncle from what I've looked into.
- 26:34Speaker 1: But I also want to know the juxtaposition between at
- 26:38Speaker 1: what point was Jessel. I don't know that Jessel was
- 26:42Speaker 1: trying to one upside on who had a harder upbringing
- 26:46Speaker 1: or up or even to Brent. I think she's just
- 26:49Speaker 1: sharing her own personal thoughts on how she grew up,
- 26:53Speaker 1: and she probably has no real reality of.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Well, yeah, because if someone did grow up privileged and
- 27:00Speaker 3: then they only had twenty dollars in their bank account
- 27:02Speaker 3: and they weren't intern they probably think that's shit, right,
- 27:05Speaker 3: Like they're like, it was so hard because that's their perception, right,
- 27:10Speaker 3: So you know, I don't know, I mean, I don't know.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Didn't she say her college was paid for? Though he
- 27:15Speaker 3: didn't her parents pay for her school? I think so.
- 27:18Speaker 1: I mean, I I think that we all have moments
- 27:21Speaker 1: when we look back in parts of our life where
- 27:23Speaker 1: I'm like, gosh, those first couple of years I was
- 27:25Speaker 1: in LA were a little rough. I lived in that
- 27:27Speaker 1: studio apartment on my freaking bunk bed futon and.
- 27:32Speaker 2: We were rough in it.
- 27:34Speaker 1: That being said, my parents still shipped my car out
- 27:37Speaker 1: here for me, and you know, got my foot in
- 27:42Speaker 1: the first door to get my first job. Like, there
- 27:44Speaker 1: are things that I wouldn't have had if it wasn't
- 27:47Speaker 1: for them.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Did I have any money?
- 27:48Speaker 1: No?
- 27:49Speaker 2: Yeah, But did I grow up with money?
- 27:51Speaker 3: Yes?
- 27:52Speaker 2: So it's like, did.
- 27:53Speaker 3: I have any money? No? Did I grow up with money? No?
- 27:56Speaker 3: But but you have it now. I'm doing fine now,
- 28:01Speaker 3: so it's all good. Yeah.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I mean, I just think if she was doing it
- 28:07Speaker 1: after cy was sharing her story, or Brenn was sharing
- 28:10Speaker 1: her story in a way to say to try to
- 28:13Speaker 1: one up theirs, I would think it was different.
- 28:15Speaker 2: But I don't think that was necessarily the case. They
- 28:17Speaker 2: asked her.
- 28:18Speaker 3: They did ask her because they were saying that they
- 28:20Speaker 3: knew about everyone else except for her, because she hadn't
- 28:22Speaker 3: really shared any of her background or her family, and
- 28:25Speaker 3: so I don't know. Then she did share, and then
- 28:27Speaker 3: they didn't want to accept what she shared. So they're like,
- 28:31Speaker 3: share your life, share it. And then she shares it
- 28:33Speaker 3: and they're like, not that life.
- 28:35Speaker 2: No, our life was worse, Like it's not a competition
- 28:39Speaker 2: on her had a harder upbringing.
- 28:41Speaker 1: At that point in time, if she would have cut
- 28:43Speaker 1: off bren or Py mid sentence and been like, Wow,
- 28:47Speaker 1: you have no idea how bad my life was, right
- 28:50Speaker 1: then I would have been like fuck.
- 28:51Speaker 2: You, Jessel.
- 28:52Speaker 3: But at this point I was like, she just shared.
- 28:53Speaker 2: She doesn't know anybody.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, she's sharing it. Was a like a
- 28:56Speaker 3: odd way to share. I mean we had to go
- 28:58Speaker 3: to Paris and then we were in Africa. I mean
- 29:00Speaker 3: we had to go around the globe.
- 29:03Speaker 1: So but I do feel like Jessel could be like
- 29:08Speaker 1: I went to Starbucks and the girls would be like,
- 29:10Speaker 1: you don't love coffee like we love coffee. Yeah, Like
- 29:13Speaker 1: there's always something that she's gonna say that's gonna piss
- 29:18Speaker 1: him off.
- 29:18Speaker 3: Yeah, totally.
- 29:19Speaker 1: And she doesn't fully like listen to what the other
- 29:22Speaker 1: girls are saying either.
- 29:23Speaker 2: I don't think.
- 29:23Speaker 3: No, she doesn't. I like her husband, though he reminded
- 29:30Speaker 3: me of Shane, doesn't he.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Yeah, he actually, now that you say that, he does
- 29:34Speaker 2: kind of remind me.
- 29:34Speaker 3: Yeah, But I just want to say to Paot, like
- 29:36Speaker 3: I think Pabot can run because Shane walked. Like I
- 29:39Speaker 3: feel like like people probably get him because of Shane Simpson.
- 29:43Speaker 3: I think he like paved the way for those men
- 29:45Speaker 3: that aren't interested in filming and don't really give a
- 29:47Speaker 3: crap about you know, their like what their image damage. Yeah,
- 29:52Speaker 3: I mean Shane's like that he doesn't care, and I
- 29:54Speaker 3: love it when he's like sixty two thousand for preschool,
- 29:57Speaker 3: Like are you kidding? Like We're gonna pay for them
- 29:59Speaker 3: to like paint and color like. That would have been Shane.
- 30:03Speaker 3: I don't care how much money Shane has. If I
- 30:05Speaker 3: told him we had to pay sixty two thousand for
- 30:07Speaker 3: our kids to go to Montossori, he would have been like,
- 30:09Speaker 3: are you kidding to the.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Same school that Tom Cruise's son yet, I.
- 30:16Speaker 3: Mean his children are adult children too, so it's not
- 30:19Speaker 3: like you're going to rub shoulders with Tom Cruise. I mean, yeah,
- 30:21Speaker 3: kids are adults.
- 30:23Speaker 1: I Actually, I have noticed that there is a lot
- 30:27Speaker 1: of fan love for Pavit now, where at the beginning
- 30:31Speaker 1: it was a little rough, but then now people have
- 30:33Speaker 1: kind of you're you're seeing a shift where people are starting.
- 30:36Speaker 2: To love Jessel and Povet.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's kind of we just had to we
- 30:41Speaker 1: had to stay the course, which I think is the
- 30:43Speaker 1: same with Shane.
- 30:44Speaker 2: At first, Shane, we didn't know.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I think I think so many husbands that
- 30:49Speaker 3: you should ask Shane about this because he has such
- 30:50Speaker 3: an opinion about husbands on housewife shows, like he's he's
- 30:55Speaker 3: so opinionated, because I think he feels like so many
- 30:58Speaker 3: husbands play up to the camera, you know, they're like,
- 31:00Speaker 3: so what did you do at brunch with your girlfriends?
- 31:04Speaker 3: And he's like, no one would ever actually ask that,
- 31:07Speaker 3: And he doesn't do stuff like that. He never asked
- 31:09Speaker 3: me things that He's like, I would never ask you that,
- 31:11Speaker 3: So I'm not doing it, And I think I like Pap,
- 31:14Speaker 3: it's the same ways. It's like I'm going to go
- 31:16Speaker 3: where's you going like Vietnam to get a sandwich or
- 31:22Speaker 3: it's like that's so Shane. He'd be like, I'm going
- 31:24Speaker 3: to in and out. You've been film by yourself.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Yeah, Like I'm not going to waste my time asking
- 31:29Speaker 1: you bullshit questions.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Right. It did take Shane a full season to turn
- 31:32Speaker 3: around to do the three three three seasons maybe two.
- 31:38Speaker 1: I feel like it just took me one. I feel
- 31:41Speaker 1: like the first season I was like, I think I
- 31:43Speaker 1: didn't love like certain things he would say to you.
- 31:45Speaker 1: But then I realized my husband says the same shit
- 31:48Speaker 1: to me, So I'm like, that's why I'm actually, yeah.
- 31:51Speaker 3: Yeah he does. I've been in Vegas with you. He
- 31:54Speaker 3: does say the same stuff.
- 31:57Speaker 2: So I related to it.
- 31:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:59Speaker 1: I took personally as if Shane put those things to
- 32:02Speaker 1: make right, then we have Brent chugging some pineapple juice
- 32:07Speaker 1: and says that this is for you, Jenna.
- 32:10Speaker 3: Is that a sexual window is the pineapple juice?
- 32:13Speaker 1: Yeah, it's supposed to make Well, here's the thing. I
- 32:16Speaker 1: knew it was supposed to make sperm.
- 32:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't get but I didn't know that it
- 32:21Speaker 3: made like your vagina tastes better.
- 32:24Speaker 2: I mean, and what do we call vagina juice?
- 32:28Speaker 3: What is it? I don't uh, I don't know, secret discharge.
- 32:36Speaker 4: That's like from your uterus. I don't know, no, but
- 32:42Speaker 4: I it's only for.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Men, like I know, when Shane buys the pineapple juice
- 32:45Speaker 3: at the grocery store, I got to hide.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Out that you're gonna have to get on your knees
- 32:49Speaker 2: and go to town. But I really didn't know that.
- 32:52Speaker 1: I mean, I never I'm not a big pineapple juice drinker,
- 32:56Speaker 1: so I've never been like, oh, that pineapple.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Juice really made my pea smell good? Right like where
- 33:01Speaker 2: you know asparagus is a problem.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Yeah, asparagus is a problem. But I don't understand. So
- 33:06Speaker 3: pineapple juice makes your vogina like taste fresh, fresh, fresh
- 33:10Speaker 3: and fresh and citrusy.
- 33:13Speaker 2: I don't know. But she kept doing it.
- 33:15Speaker 1: But Brenn jokingly tells Jenna that she has a crush
- 33:19Speaker 1: on her. Okay, I get that bren is a flirt,
- 33:22Speaker 1: but at some point do we think that bren is
- 33:25Speaker 1: taking her flirting a little too far? And if this
- 33:28Speaker 1: was like reversed in any other situation, mm hm, I
- 33:32Speaker 1: feel like we'd be in a pickle.
- 33:36Speaker 3: I do think that her whole personality is just flirtatious,
- 33:39Speaker 3: from the moment she gets up to the time she
- 33:41Speaker 3: goes about. I bet she flirts with every single person
- 33:43Speaker 3: she comes in contact with. And I actually find it cute,
- 33:46Speaker 3: Like I find her to be funny and lighthearted and cute.
- 33:49Speaker 3: And but I don't know, I worry about Jenna because
- 33:52Speaker 3: I don't I worry that like she's gonna like hurt
- 33:54Speaker 3: her or like break her little heart because I feel
- 33:57Speaker 3: like Jenna is actually falling for her. I mean I
- 34:00Speaker 3: felt like she was talking about how she was beautiful
- 34:03Speaker 3: and you know, and she's always so insecure with herself,
- 34:06Speaker 3: so to have like the hot, bodacious, like beautiful one
- 34:10Speaker 3: like all over you, flirting with you, Like, I just
- 34:12Speaker 3: don't want Jenna to get her little heart broken.
- 34:14Speaker 2: See, I think Jenna.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Is so grateful that Brenn is flirting with her so
- 34:20Speaker 1: she can have something to talk about that actually doesn't
- 34:23Speaker 1: affect her in any capacity, Like.
- 34:25Speaker 3: You mean, like something lighthearted, so we're not like r
- 34:28Speaker 3: like it.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Because these were her best confessionals this episode, making the
- 34:34Speaker 1: jokes about Bret, like like, oh, of course I'm going
- 34:37Speaker 1: to make her sign a pre nap like all of
- 34:39Speaker 1: those confessionals.
- 34:40Speaker 2: I was like, yeah, Jnah, you're funny.
- 34:42Speaker 3: Yeah, Like she finally she finally got the opportunity to
- 34:45Speaker 3: be lighthearted, Like she's definitely the HBI C Like all
- 34:48Speaker 3: these women are like, you know, bowing down to her
- 34:50Speaker 3: when she walks into the room. But she has so
- 34:52Speaker 3: much more vulnerability than any of the other ones. Like
- 34:54Speaker 3: she's so hard and and boss and and since and
- 35:00Speaker 3: like I want to hug her all at the same time,
- 35:02Speaker 3: you know.
- 35:03Speaker 1: But also I don't find her judgmental, not at all
- 35:08Speaker 1: like you would think normally when you take lessons from her. Oh,
- 35:12Speaker 1: like she really seems like pretty to me at least, Like, yeah,
- 35:17Speaker 1: she seems like she has her own boundaries. She seems
- 35:19Speaker 1: like she knows what she wants and she likes and listen,
- 35:22Speaker 1: I can pay for what I want to do.
- 35:23Speaker 2: So I'm gonna fucking do it the way I want
- 35:25Speaker 2: to do it. And you know what, great you should.
- 35:27Speaker 3: But most of the.
- 35:28Speaker 1: Time when you get women, I'm not gonna name names,
- 35:31Speaker 1: maybe somebody on your show, and I think there's someone
- 35:34Speaker 1: on Salt Lake, et cetera, et cetera.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Probably someone on Beverly Hills, where they have the.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Most money in a setting, they then have this like
- 35:45Speaker 1: need Oh it's I was watching even Camille season one
- 35:48Speaker 1: on Beverly Hills and just this need to like throw
- 35:52Speaker 1: it in your face. Yeah, that she's above you financially,
- 35:56Speaker 1: or that her husband. But then I was wondering, is
- 35:58Speaker 1: that because, all right, guys, is that because Jenna made
- 36:02Speaker 1: her money herself versus her husband?
- 36:04Speaker 3: Oh? You mean, like when women marry into it and
- 36:06Speaker 3: then all of a sudden they have a bunch of
- 36:07Speaker 3: money that they didn't have before, they feel the need
- 36:09Speaker 3: to constantly talk about it and they have a superiority
- 36:11Speaker 3: complex and they're like, I'm better than everyone else. But
- 36:13Speaker 3: if you earned it on your own, you have respect
- 36:16Speaker 3: for you.
- 36:19Speaker 2: I'm wondering if that's it. I mean, I don't know.
- 36:22Speaker 1: We haven't gotten past Jenna Lyon's mom's situation. I don't
- 36:26Speaker 1: know how she grew up, but like there's room for
- 36:28Speaker 1: us to learn more. By the way, I also just
- 36:30Speaker 1: saw this on my Instagram. Not that I wasn't completely
- 36:33Speaker 1: focused on our conversation right here, but they just said rumored.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Leah McSweeney in talks to join next season of Real
- 36:42Speaker 1: Housewives of New York just bruce up the cast.
- 36:45Speaker 2: Do you believe that?
- 36:47Speaker 3: I don't think the castane is brucing up. I think
- 36:48Speaker 3: it's really good. Me too, I really do. Yeah.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Then Jessel's past it's brought up again. Jessel says she's
- 36:58Speaker 1: not comparing herself to her sigh. Aaron says, you had
- 37:01Speaker 1: a completely fine life. Jessel says, how could you know that?
- 37:05Speaker 1: Did you live my life? Aaron sarcastically says your life
- 37:09Speaker 1: was so difficult you had to live with your rich uncle.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Si gets upset and starts yelling at Jessel that her parents'
- 37:15Speaker 1: story is not her story. Jessel says that your new
- 37:18Speaker 1: name is Queen of Assumption. Okay, I at this point,
- 37:26Speaker 1: if I was Jessla, I'd be like, you want my story.
- 37:28Speaker 2: I'm surrounded by a bunch of fucking assholes. You asked
- 37:31Speaker 2: my story and I gave it to you. You don't like it,
- 37:34Speaker 2: I'm wrong about it. Sorry, But like you asked, well, I.
- 37:38Speaker 3: Just don't understand why they have such an opinion about
- 37:40Speaker 3: her life. Do they know any They said at the table,
- 37:43Speaker 3: they don't know anything about her, so they don't. They
- 37:45Speaker 3: don't know anything. So then when she tells them, why
- 37:48Speaker 3: are they so hell bent on telling her that's not
- 37:50Speaker 3: how she really grew up? Where does that even come from?
- 37:54Speaker 3: Except they just want to jump on her. I think
- 37:56Speaker 3: they want.
- 37:57Speaker 1: I think because the way she started out this season
- 38:00Speaker 1: with the is it.
- 38:00Speaker 3: The British accent?
- 38:01Speaker 2: Is that why?
- 38:02Speaker 3: It's like everybody thinks she's wealthy because she has the
- 38:04Speaker 3: British accent.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Like I mean, I did ask her when she was
- 38:07Speaker 1: on the pod. I said, listen, there's all these rumors
- 38:09Speaker 1: online that you went to this top prep school in
- 38:11Speaker 1: college and blah blah blah, and she's.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Like, it's not true.
- 38:15Speaker 3: Then they sit down for another dinner.
- 38:17Speaker 1: I feel like they've eaten ninety percent of this episode,
- 38:21Speaker 1: but they.
- 38:21Speaker 3: They do eat a lot. I was like, there's a
- 38:23Speaker 3: lot of eating going on.
- 38:25Speaker 2: There's a lot of eating, and then complaining about what
- 38:27Speaker 2: they're eating.
- 38:30Speaker 3: And does Aaron really not have food ever? Is that
- 38:33Speaker 3: why she's so thin? Is that like the key to
- 38:35Speaker 3: her diet is just not see.
- 38:38Speaker 2: One of the things she ate was just like, well
- 38:40Speaker 2: she is int a green juice. We know that.
- 38:43Speaker 1: And we saw at one point one of her meals
- 38:46Speaker 1: was like some avocado with like some pepper on it,
- 38:48Speaker 1: and I was like, probably not going to do it
- 38:51Speaker 1: for me, right, I was.
- 38:54Speaker 3: Like, I don't. I really like her, but I don't
- 38:55Speaker 3: know if I can hang out with her because apparently
- 38:57Speaker 3: food is not number one at the top of her
- 38:59Speaker 3: priority list, so we cannot be friends.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Well, I'm actually bummed because when Tarmor and I had
- 39:04Speaker 1: her on the pod, somebody had told us incorrect information.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Like just they gave us.
- 39:10Speaker 1: They were like, just so you know before you have
- 39:11Speaker 1: Aaron on, this isn't somebody that works on our pod.
- 39:14Speaker 2: This is just like in the room or a housewife Meil, Yeah.
- 39:18Speaker 1: Aaron is like the least one on this season. She's
- 39:22Speaker 1: not a part of anything. She's boring, she's blah.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Blah blah gave us. And then now I'm watching the season,
- 39:27Speaker 2: I'm like, fuck, did.
- 39:29Speaker 3: They say that?
- 39:29Speaker 2: Because you made me believe that she wasn't gonna get anything.
- 39:33Speaker 3: She argues with everybody. She argues with any like you
- 39:37Speaker 3: don't argue with anyone at any time, at any place.
- 39:40Speaker 1: Like she is such a good arguer and she believes it,
- 39:43Speaker 1: and it's she's all we need. Like she is the
- 39:46Speaker 1: Tamra of New York. Like she makes sure that the
- 39:49Speaker 1: storyline is fucking moving.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, she's good. I was like, damn, she just
- 39:54Speaker 3: she's I like when she walked out of the I
- 39:56Speaker 3: don't even know if this is the last episode because
- 39:58Speaker 3: I watched all Tenant one time. It's all one big episod.
- 40:00Speaker 3: It was to me at this point, You're like the
- 40:02Speaker 3: marathon movie I watched, but the wreathmaking killed me. She's
- 40:06Speaker 3: just like, fuck everybody, I'm out of here. I was like,
- 40:09Speaker 3: you go, she's good.
- 40:11Speaker 2: You can make your read off.
- 40:15Speaker 1: Then you know, as they sit down at their dinner,
- 40:19Speaker 1: they have to tell their most embarrassing story. So before
- 40:22Speaker 1: we get into their most embarrassing story, what's yours?
- 40:28Speaker 3: Probably when I was really mad at Shane, like really upset,
- 40:32Speaker 3: and I was texting him like you know how when
- 40:34Speaker 3: you get mad at your husband and you do like
- 40:36Speaker 3: the crazy ass wife text where you're just like boom boom,
- 40:39Speaker 3: just they just keep popping up like boom boom boom.
- 40:42Speaker 3: I was really mad at him about something and I
- 40:44Speaker 3: was just blowing up his phone and I was telling
- 40:47Speaker 3: him off, and I accidentally texted his mom and dad
- 40:50Speaker 3: on a group chat and said him, I went off
- 40:56Speaker 3: on him to his mother and father.
- 41:00Speaker 2: To his core, like you ripped him?
- 41:03Speaker 3: Yes, And can I ever mind everyone that my mother
- 41:06Speaker 3: in law is Persian and Persian moms do not. Did
- 41:11Speaker 3: she respond, yes, she did, Yes, she went off on me.
- 41:16Speaker 2: No, yes, yes, she Mama beared you at that.
- 41:22Speaker 3: Oh man, I was like, I gotta get divorced, like
- 41:24Speaker 3: I can't. I can't help her look at her. I
- 41:26Speaker 3: can't ever show myself around here again.
- 41:30Speaker 2: How long into the relationship was it? This was I
- 41:33Speaker 2: was like last week.
- 41:35Speaker 3: It was twenty nineteen. It was right before I had
- 41:38Speaker 3: my uh my hip or place I'll never forget because
- 41:40Speaker 3: I was in Ohio and I had the kids with me,
- 41:44Speaker 3: and I just went off on him and I was
- 41:47Speaker 3: just relentless, and man, I cannot believe I sent it
- 41:50Speaker 3: to his mom and dad. It was like I, yeah
- 41:53Speaker 3: it was. And she came back at me hard. I
- 41:55Speaker 3: thought when I and I called Shane, I was like,
- 41:57Speaker 3: how do I undersend a text? How do I unsend
- 41:59Speaker 3: a text?
- 41:59Speaker 2: Now they have that feature, Thank god.
- 42:01Speaker 3: I feel like it was because of me. I feel
- 42:03Speaker 3: like they were like, tam you heard about that, Emily,
- 42:06Speaker 3: We're gonna do on send for you.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Send me a screenshot of these texts so I can
- 42:09Speaker 2: feel bad.
- 42:09Speaker 3: I don't hate. No, I have deleted them. They are gone.
- 42:12Speaker 3: I never wanted to see those texts again. It's like
- 42:14Speaker 3: it was traumatic. I mean it was beyond embarrassing. It
- 42:17Speaker 3: was that's beyond just embarrassed.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Yeah. No, I mean that's a pretty good one. Mine isn't.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Mine is just something that is stuck with me since
- 42:25Speaker 1: the third grade. I have this really awkward sneeze now
- 42:30Speaker 1: where I go. And it's because I was very like
- 42:34Speaker 1: the dorkiest third fourth grader you could ever imagine, Like
- 42:38Speaker 1: I had buck teeth. So then I would put like
- 42:40Speaker 1: a like a fake retainer in because I wanted people
- 42:44Speaker 1: to believe I was trying to fix the problem.
- 42:46Speaker 3: Did you use like a paper clip paper clip like.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Fake headgear like the big Fisher priced glasses, like the
- 42:54Speaker 1: biggest goober and it was like computer class. Remember when
- 42:58Speaker 1: you would have computer class, you'd like type and they
- 43:00Speaker 1: put a box over your hands.
- 43:02Speaker 3: No, I'm older than you. I didn't have computers, so.
- 43:05Speaker 4: I had Well maybe it was typing class, like make
- 43:08Speaker 4: a cursive class.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Well, either way, I went to have a big sneeze.
- 43:15Speaker 1: And the biggest freaking toot sneeze came out at the
- 43:18Speaker 1: same fucking time.
- 43:19Speaker 3: Oh you farted, sneeze?
- 43:21Speaker 2: Yeah, like it was like a hutch.
- 43:23Speaker 3: It was like a snart.
- 43:24Speaker 2: And I've never to this to this day.
- 43:27Speaker 1: And I realized, this isn't that embarrassing, but it is
- 43:31Speaker 1: something that has stuck with me my entire life.
- 43:34Speaker 3: Everyone hear it.
- 43:35Speaker 2: Everyone heard it, Everyone laughed. Everyone pointed at me.
- 43:40Speaker 3: Do you think she farted? Do you think she sneezed?
- 43:42Speaker 1: Like?
- 43:43Speaker 2: Which one was it? Nobody was clever enough to say
- 43:46Speaker 2: schnart like it just was.
- 43:49Speaker 1: And to this day now I have a terrible sneeze
- 43:51Speaker 1: where I never I never get to an enjoy a
- 43:53Speaker 1: sneeze and let it out.
- 43:55Speaker 3: Oh, I say so, your your sneeze is like a
- 43:57Speaker 3: traumatized sneeze. Yeah, he killed it. You you cleanch your
- 44:00Speaker 3: butt cheeks when you Yes, so that you don't fart
- 44:03Speaker 3: at the same time.
- 44:04Speaker 2: Because what happens if that's just my thing.
- 44:06Speaker 3: Well, it's funny. How old are you?
- 44:08Speaker 2: Forty two?
- 44:09Speaker 3: Well it's funny at forty two. You should just let
- 44:11Speaker 3: it go.
- 44:12Speaker 2: I'm too frightened because I know absolutely not.
- 44:15Speaker 1: And my daughter has like a similar thing that has happened,
- 44:18Speaker 1: but she doesn't seem embarrassed about it.
- 44:20Speaker 2: And then I was like, what the fuck's wrong with me?
- 44:23Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 44:23Speaker 1: Anyways, friends was that when she was twelve to thirteen,
- 44:27Speaker 1: she got her period, didn't know what to do, so
- 44:29Speaker 1: she grabbed a tampon and put it in her butt.
- 44:32Speaker 3: Yeah. I don't know about that. I don't believe the
- 44:36Speaker 3: true story. No, because I'm sorry. Even if you don't
- 44:40Speaker 3: know a lot about anatomy or maybe your mom didn't
- 44:43Speaker 3: explain things to you, I still feel like you know
- 44:45Speaker 3: that the blood is not coming from your butthole, right.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Well, I can say after having kids sometimes the butt
- 44:51Speaker 2: blood is coming from my.
- 44:53Speaker 3: She didn't have kids. She's she's like, what thirteen and
- 44:58Speaker 3: it's not easy. A tampon is completely dry. How are
- 45:01Speaker 3: you going to get it up your butthole? I don't know.
- 45:04Speaker 2: Can you try after and let me know next week
- 45:06Speaker 2: how it.
- 45:06Speaker 3: Went for you. So I see my homework assignment as
- 45:09Speaker 3: trying to put a tampon in my ass.
- 45:11Speaker 2: All right, good luck to you.
- 45:13Speaker 1: No, Lou Jessel says she was at a club during
- 45:16Speaker 1: spring break and she was trying to wave down her
- 45:18Speaker 1: friends slip down, the bra came off the This was
- 45:21Speaker 1: Jessel's best story.
- 45:22Speaker 3: Yeah. I love the story because I have this vision
- 45:25Speaker 3: of like a club in Mexico where her top fall
- 45:28Speaker 3: blob and then everybody's just like, yeah, I think it's
- 45:31Speaker 3: part of the show.
- 45:35Speaker 2: Jessel.
- 45:36Speaker 1: Of course, Ray Fines was involved in her tripping story,
- 45:40Speaker 1: which made it less funny to me because I'm like,
- 45:41Speaker 1: of course, yeah, celebrity involved, that is fancy.
- 45:47Speaker 3: Did she get a gift bag at the end of
- 45:48Speaker 3: the She's like, thank you for lifting me up, and
- 45:53Speaker 3: here's the gift. Thank you.
- 45:56Speaker 1: This is my brand and this is pre Instagram probably
- 46:00Speaker 1: right right on your Facebook check.
- 46:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:03Speaker 1: Then Si was at a track meet and pooped your pants.
- 46:06Speaker 1: You know what, that's the shits. I can't I feel
- 46:09Speaker 1: like something like that would happen to me.
- 46:10Speaker 3: Yeah. I feel like with athletes though, maybe that just
- 46:12Speaker 3: happens often because if you're an athlete and you gotta
- 46:15Speaker 3: run a race or you're gonna swim or something like,
- 46:17Speaker 3: you just can't be like, excuse me, Can we just
- 46:19Speaker 3: all take a break so I can go poop? Like,
- 46:21Speaker 3: you just have to go with it.
- 46:23Speaker 2: Hold on, we're thinking that swim Olympic swimmers are just
- 46:28Speaker 2: going why not?
- 46:30Speaker 3: I mean, they can't just be like, no, don't blow
- 46:32Speaker 3: the whistle, I got diarrhea. They just have to go.
- 46:37Speaker 3: I think there's a.
- 46:37Speaker 1: Fine if you shit in the pool, because every time
- 46:40Speaker 1: Dove does that her swim class, it's two hundred and
- 46:43Speaker 1: fifty dollars for me, like the tongue lashing I give her.
- 46:47Speaker 3: Or how many times if you had to pay that
- 46:49Speaker 3: fine is multiple times. That's more than the swim lessons.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Of course, the swim lessons twenty five dollars.
- 46:57Speaker 4: And here's the thing.
- 46:58Speaker 1: She's one hundred percent potty train. She makes no mistakes,
- 47:02Speaker 1: but she gets into the pool and it relaxes her. Yeah,
- 47:05Speaker 1: and then she's like, I'll know I'll be watching this
- 47:07Speaker 1: one lesson and she's like.
- 47:10Speaker 3: And I'm like, dub, you just get out your checkbook.
- 47:12Speaker 1: You're like, I'm like, Dube, what are you doing and
- 47:17Speaker 1: uh yeah, so nice that she's just taking a shit. AnyWho,
- 47:21Speaker 1: then we get to the final drama. I'm very torn
- 47:26Speaker 1: on this issue. One, how do you feel about pranks?
- 47:30Speaker 3: I mean, I like pranks. I think they're funny. I
- 47:32Speaker 3: would like to prank someone, But if I was going
- 47:34Speaker 3: to prank someone like it would be a good prank,
- 47:36Speaker 3: I feel like it needs a lot of thought going
- 47:38Speaker 3: into it, not just like pushing somebody in the pool
- 47:40Speaker 3: or like you know, like the taking of the cell phone.
- 47:43Speaker 3: Those are like basic level pranks.
- 47:44Speaker 1: To me, It's okay. The first push in the pool
- 47:48Speaker 1: is funny. A push back is not that funny.
- 47:50Speaker 2: But here's the part that I just really don't understand.
- 47:53Speaker 1: I get that you're in a foreign country, you're upset
- 47:57Speaker 1: you don't have your phone, But she her fucking phone
- 48:01Speaker 1: in the first place.
- 48:02Speaker 2: Read this renter Van or wherever it is that she
- 48:05Speaker 2: left it, She didn't notice it was gone, and then
- 48:08Speaker 2: she found it.
- 48:09Speaker 1: Why the level of rage the next day at that point,
- 48:11Speaker 1: I wonder, has someone gone to Uba and been like, listen,
- 48:15Speaker 1: you had COVID for two weeks. You weren't really a
- 48:17Speaker 1: part of the show, right, Yes, you are funny and
- 48:20Speaker 1: you're beautiful, but you haven't caused any drama.
- 48:23Speaker 2: Figure something out, yeah, and do it.
- 48:26Speaker 3: Like that too. Yeah. I was like, oh, okay, so
- 48:28Speaker 3: we're gonna just do the cell phone. We're just gonna
- 48:30Speaker 3: go with the cell phone like there's nothing else. We're
- 48:32Speaker 3: just gonna be like you will talk by cell phone.
- 48:35Speaker 3: I mean, I yeah, I really.
- 48:39Speaker 2: I mean if it was forty five minutes, who gives
- 48:42Speaker 2: a shit?
- 48:43Speaker 3: Yeah, and she gave it back to her. It's not
- 48:45Speaker 3: like she withheld it. She's like, oh, yeah, you left
- 48:47Speaker 3: it in the van. I was gonna play a prank
- 48:49Speaker 3: on you. Here's your here's your cell phone.
- 48:51Speaker 1: And it wasn't even her that pushed her back in
- 48:54Speaker 1: the pool. So like, I feel like Aaron's saying she
- 48:58Speaker 1: was scared of Uba though, takes her from an errand
- 49:02Speaker 1: to a karan. That's the only thing, Like did you
- 49:04Speaker 1: have a moment where you felt scared of her?
- 49:07Speaker 2: Eron? Yeah, I mean scared, like because Aaron says I
- 49:10Speaker 2: was scared, No, I don't.
- 49:12Speaker 3: I didn't see. I didn't think she was scary.
- 49:14Speaker 2: I didn't think she was scary. I thought she was overreacting.
- 49:17Speaker 3: I thought she was overreacting too. I thought she was
- 49:19Speaker 3: way overreacting. I thought it was odd. I thought it
- 49:21Speaker 3: was odd behavior. And I wouldn't have been scared in
- 49:25Speaker 3: that situation at all, because I would have been like,
- 49:27Speaker 3: I gave you your phone. You're acting like a nut.
- 49:30Speaker 1: I gave you your phone that you left for the record.
- 49:32Speaker 1: You should be grateful and shut the phone. But also
- 49:35Speaker 1: at that moment, Aaron, speak up. You have told everybody
- 49:39Speaker 1: else that she left the phone, but have you actually
- 49:41Speaker 1: said it to Uba.
- 49:42Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the part I didn't understand either. I was like,
- 49:44Speaker 3: why are you not just explaining that she left it
- 49:46Speaker 3: on the van? The driver gave it to you, and
- 49:49Speaker 3: you held on to it, and then she noticed that
- 49:51Speaker 3: it was gone, and then you gave it back like
- 49:53Speaker 3: I don't even know.
- 49:54Speaker 2: It's not even a rank ever, it's not even funny.
- 49:58Speaker 1: I know.
- 49:58Speaker 3: I was like, it's not even a good prank, and
- 50:01Speaker 3: you gave it right back to her.
- 50:03Speaker 2: And I'm sorry, Uba, if you have so many people
- 50:06Speaker 2: to call and you have so much storyline, tell us
- 50:09Speaker 2: because you've.
- 50:09Speaker 3: Given us nothing. Yeah, she really hasn't.
- 50:12Speaker 2: I love Uba. I think she's funny. I think she's good.
- 50:15Speaker 1: You can tell something something else has got to be
- 50:18Speaker 1: bothering her to take for her to go to a
- 50:20Speaker 1: ten over the cell phone.
- 50:23Speaker 3: Yeah, totally, But I mean that's the end.
- 50:26Speaker 2: Of the episode.
- 50:27Speaker 1: Uh. Fan thoughts that are split between thinking Aaron is
- 50:31Speaker 1: ridiculous and UBA's overreacting same as us. Yeah, people are
- 50:35Speaker 1: wondering why Brend makes everything about sex. I think that's
- 50:39Speaker 1: her tool, Like that's what she knows.
- 50:41Speaker 3: I think you know, when you when you hear her
- 50:44Speaker 3: background and how she grew up. I think a lot
- 50:46Speaker 3: of times when you grow up in a situation like that,
- 50:48Speaker 3: you come up with coping mechanisms, and and she's funny.
- 50:51Speaker 2: She's able to make every situation lighter because of it.
- 50:55Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean if I enjoy her, I you know, honestly,
- 50:58Speaker 3: when I saw the intros and she was like, make
- 51:00Speaker 3: me mad, I'll date your dad, and she was younger
- 51:01Speaker 3: and she was pretty, I was like, oh my.
- 51:03Speaker 2: God, really I was scared. I couldn't.
- 51:05Speaker 3: I was like, I don't know if I can stomach this.
- 51:07Speaker 3: And then I really actually find her to be clever
- 51:10Speaker 3: and witty and funny, and I love how she's just
- 51:14Speaker 3: like she gets mad but then she just laughs it
- 51:15Speaker 3: off and she's cute I don't know, it's just it.
- 51:17Speaker 2: Doesn't take herself too seriously.
- 51:19Speaker 1: No, what I can say which I cannot say about
- 51:22Speaker 1: any other cast, I don't think.
- 51:24Speaker 2: I don't. I think I enjoy everybody on this cast. Yeah,
- 51:29Speaker 2: Like there's no one. At first it was Jessel for me,
- 51:33Speaker 2: but she's she's come around.
- 51:35Speaker 1: Maybe because once I meet, once I talk to you
- 51:37Speaker 1: on the pod, then I feel like I have a connection.
- 51:39Speaker 2: Actually, yeah, but there's no one that I'm like, oh,
- 51:43Speaker 2: she's the worst.
- 51:44Speaker 3: Yeah, No, I would agree. I like the cast, and
- 51:46Speaker 3: I like them all together. I like how they all
- 51:49Speaker 3: you know, they all communicate well, which I think is
- 51:52Speaker 3: good for a cast. I would wouldn't say that. You
- 51:54Speaker 3: know other casts do? I feel like things go from
- 51:56Speaker 3: zero to one hundred on other casts. Yeah, it's just
- 52:00Speaker 3: like you have two people going at it. But I
- 52:02Speaker 3: think New York does a really good job of everybody
- 52:04Speaker 3: being involved in the in the conversation and everybody communicating
- 52:07Speaker 3: and everybody adding, but nobody taking themselves so seriously that
- 52:10Speaker 3: they get so pissed that it goes to like a
- 52:12Speaker 3: def con level. You know, they always ruin your career exactly,
- 52:17Speaker 3: They always bring it back down and then it ends
- 52:19Speaker 3: on some lighthearted note where they really are friendly and
- 52:21Speaker 3: really enjoy each other.
- 52:22Speaker 2: And I like that, I think because they're all new.
- 52:25Speaker 3: But you know, speaking of things that.
- 52:30Speaker 1: Way to ruin people's lives and cause major drama. We're
- 52:33Speaker 1: going to take a quick little break and then we're
- 52:35Speaker 1: going to be back to recap Real Housewives of Salt
- 52:37Speaker 1: Lake City, So we are back to talk about all
- 52:53Speaker 1: things Salt Lake City. The main takeaway from this episode
- 52:56Speaker 1: for me is we're going to have to do a
- 52:58Speaker 1: podcast from Trixa Hotel.
- 53:00Speaker 3: I totally agree. I couldn't stop searing all the cute
- 53:04Speaker 3: rooms and the pink and I wanted a pink drink.
- 53:07Speaker 3: It was amazing, all of it.
- 53:09Speaker 2: That was great.
- 53:11Speaker 3: Well, you know what, Also, I was a little jealous
- 53:12Speaker 3: because I'm like, we're in Orange County. I'm only what
- 53:15Speaker 3: two hours away? Why have I never filmed there? Why
- 53:17Speaker 3: did they come all the way from Salt Lake City
- 53:19Speaker 3: and end up at the Trixy Motel and it's literally
- 53:21Speaker 3: in my backyard and we've never filmed there.
- 53:23Speaker 1: It starts off with Meredith as shocked to see Angie.
- 53:26Speaker 1: She calls it ill mannered and rude that Whitney invited
- 53:29Speaker 1: Angie without asking the hostess. How would you have handled
- 53:33Speaker 1: the situation if you're a Meredith.
- 53:35Speaker 3: Well, I don't know. Can we first back it up
- 53:36Speaker 3: and say, is it ill mannered and rude that Angie
- 53:39Speaker 3: wasn't invited in the first place?
- 53:40Speaker 2: When Angie is a housewife. I'm sorry, we have to
- 53:43Speaker 2: break the fourth wall at this point. I mean, you
- 53:46Speaker 2: and your entitlement.
- 53:48Speaker 3: I just I'm like, well she, I mean, I know,
- 53:50Speaker 3: we're okay. I mean, she's on the cast. There's six housewives,
- 53:54Speaker 3: she's one of them. And you're going to plan a
- 53:56Speaker 3: trip and exclude one person out. I mean that's rude.
- 54:00Speaker 3: That's I mean, even if you don't like them, just
- 54:02Speaker 3: to exclude someone and they're supposed to just sit at
- 54:05Speaker 3: home while everybody else goes in film somewhere, I mean,
- 54:07Speaker 3: that's terrible.
- 54:08Speaker 1: And let's also there are situations where I am sure
- 54:14Speaker 1: that at some point somebody said to Whitney, figure out
- 54:17Speaker 1: a way that Angie's I don't think Whitney on her own,
- 54:22Speaker 1: you don't.
- 54:24Speaker 2: Really a clever idea.
- 54:29Speaker 3: You don't think when he had like a bubble up
- 54:31Speaker 3: here that was like bring Angie, there would be a
- 54:34Speaker 3: brilliant plan No, and go early. That'll be fun.
- 54:39Speaker 2: I'm going to book my own travel this time around.
- 54:41Speaker 1: No.
- 54:43Speaker 3: But I think that it really just shows.
- 54:49Speaker 1: How annoying it is when you see a senior housewife
- 54:53Speaker 1: that has been there longer try to ice out somebody new.
- 54:57Speaker 3: Yeah, it's hurtful. That's why I was like, I get
- 55:00Speaker 3: the whole ill mannered and rude, but like, you didn't
- 55:03Speaker 3: include her in the first place. So I mean, if
- 55:05Speaker 3: we want to talk about rude, that was mean. That
- 55:08Speaker 3: was mean, that's unspirited.
- 55:10Speaker 1: And honestly, like, to be honest, Meredith, it's not your
- 55:13Speaker 1: place to exclude somebody that they've cast on the show
- 55:17Speaker 1: to not It's one thing if you don't want to
- 55:19Speaker 1: include them on your kid's birthday party or something that
- 55:23Speaker 1: involves your family.
- 55:25Speaker 3: Right, but a cast trip like you don't get to
- 55:27Speaker 3: make that call.
- 55:28Speaker 2: Go kick rocks, like honestly, and we all know how
- 55:32Speaker 2: those trips are in general. One person's the planner, please, yeah,
- 55:37Speaker 2: fucking please.
- 55:40Speaker 1: But then what I thought was even more rude was
- 55:45Speaker 1: Angie is now trying to be nice, she says. She
- 55:48Speaker 1: tells Mary come over and sit with us, and Mary says,
- 55:52Speaker 1: I'm not coming over there. Please stop talking to me
- 55:55Speaker 1: like that.
- 55:55Speaker 2: I don't.
- 55:55Speaker 3: I didn't think it was rude. I thought it was hilarious.
- 55:58Speaker 3: I if you look up zero fucks given in the dictionary,
- 56:02Speaker 3: like there is a picture of Mary Cosby, I have
- 56:03Speaker 3: never seen someone so with so little care for any
- 56:08Speaker 3: other human being before.
- 56:10Speaker 2: But you have to also keep in mind this woman
- 56:13Speaker 2: is a pastor, I know, but it's hilarious.
- 56:17Speaker 3: I she it's like less than zero. She's like some
- 56:21Speaker 3: zero fox given, Like she's everyone's orbiting this way on
- 56:25Speaker 3: the planet and she's orbiting the other by herself. I
- 56:28Speaker 3: find her hilarious. I really don't.
- 56:30Speaker 1: I find it hilarious because it's so ridiculous. But I
- 56:36Speaker 1: at least like when somebody's being ridiculous for it to
- 56:39Speaker 1: be based in somewhat like some sort of truth in
- 56:45Speaker 1: some capacity.
- 56:46Speaker 3: I think, I think, on Mary, you just got to
- 56:49Speaker 3: let that one go. Well, Mary, I ask you know
- 56:51Speaker 3: what I find funny. I think I think everyone's reaction
- 56:54Speaker 3: to her is funny because when she says it, no
- 56:56Speaker 3: one even reacts. They're just like, okay, no.
- 56:59Speaker 1: It's like baby Dove says something and we all just
- 57:02Speaker 1: like kind of laugh at it and act like it's
- 57:04Speaker 1: not inappropriate.
- 57:04Speaker 2: Meanwhile, she's like punching us in the arm or the fat.
- 57:08Speaker 3: I mean, it's just like everybody's just like I don't know,
- 57:11Speaker 3: but I do like how she didn't want to come
- 57:12Speaker 3: sit with them, but then the first thing she doesn't
- 57:14Speaker 3: sit down and start talking to them.
- 57:15Speaker 4: Yeah, she's like, I don't want to sit with you
- 57:18Speaker 4: and don't talk to me.
- 57:20Speaker 3: Oh but why did you guys come early? You make
- 57:24Speaker 3: no sense?
- 57:26Speaker 2: She makes absolutely no sense.
- 57:27Speaker 1: But then Mary asks Whitney why they are so. She
- 57:32Speaker 1: says it feels childish, child as if refusing to come
- 57:35Speaker 1: sit with them and screaming across the pool is not child.
- 57:40Speaker 3: Why don't think she has a large vocabulary, as we
- 57:42Speaker 3: see later.
- 57:52Speaker 1: Why love when somebody gets something wrong and then they
- 57:54Speaker 1: get mad and on it and then they have to
- 57:57Speaker 1: ask their puking friend, right, I know, if she's like.
- 58:08Speaker 2: Okay.
- 58:08Speaker 1: Then Angie says Whitney's being inclusive, and Mary says, I
- 58:12Speaker 1: wasn't talking to you.
- 58:15Speaker 2: How would you like if you were actually there?
- 58:18Speaker 1: Though I know you're finding it hilarious outside of imagining
- 58:21Speaker 1: you were in that situation, how would you've actually responded
- 58:25Speaker 1: to Mary, if she was speaking to you like she
- 58:27Speaker 1: did to either Angie or Whitney at.
- 58:30Speaker 3: This time, I probably would have lost it. They have
- 58:32Speaker 3: a lot more patience than I do. I mean I
- 58:33Speaker 3: would have probably gone off on her.
- 58:38Speaker 2: I can't even imagine.
- 58:39Speaker 1: Because then Meredith walks past Whitney, Angie, and Lisa by
- 58:43Speaker 1: the pool like somehow it was like she was trying
- 58:49Speaker 1: to give like fashion model, but really it was like,
- 58:52Speaker 1: I'm feeling insecure, nervous, and I was like, that looked
- 59:01Speaker 1: like my one step at New York Fashion, which ever
- 59:04Speaker 1: been more uncomfortable and awkward, but trying to be a badass,
- 59:07Speaker 1: but like the least close to badass you.
- 59:11Speaker 3: Well, I'm sure she was regretting that motel because she
- 59:13Speaker 3: had to walk outside to get to the other room,
- 59:16Speaker 3: and she had to pass the pool. There was no
- 59:18Speaker 3: hallway she could go down.
- 59:21Speaker 1: Then Meredith tells Angie that she didn't know she would
- 59:24Speaker 1: be here so she can shop alone, so they pick this.
- 59:28Speaker 2: Also, I thought, was I didn't get it. I didn't
- 59:30Speaker 2: think it was funny. They all had the same fucking store.
- 59:35Speaker 2: I'm confused.
- 59:35Speaker 3: I was like, are you swirl and right? And why
- 59:39Speaker 3: didn't we get invited. I think they were at two
- 59:42Speaker 3: different stores, but I didn't understand why there were so
- 59:44Speaker 3: many in one store, Like there's four girls in one Well,
- 59:47Speaker 3: I guess you can only do four and two right
- 59:49Speaker 3: if you double up?
- 59:50Speaker 2: Well now that was five.
- 59:52Speaker 3: But yeah, the editors put when they were putting the
- 59:56Speaker 3: groups of girls like the two shopping and then they
- 59:58Speaker 3: put Angie and herself.
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: But also why did they all have on like like
- 1:00:07Speaker 4: tea like they were going to a tea party?
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Yeah? What are those called the little clip things that
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: you get where they fascinator?
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: Fascinators?
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: Yeah? Like was there a theme? I'm hot? I don't know,
- 1:00:19Speaker 3: but why does Palm Springs have so many fascinators? Like
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: where is there a shop with that many fascinators? Where
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: are they go?
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Well, there are polo fields in Palm Springs, so maybe
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: is that way?
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: Like women dress up? But then Heather's dressed like a
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: nineties like boy band or something like.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: I don't even understand what I was like, it's gotta
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: be hot, like I you have to be sweating, and
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: like I'm someone that I'm sweating in my room right
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: now and it's like sixty eight degrees in here, Like
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: I can't, and that might be menopause, but I cannot
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: even imagine. Like Lisa's pretty much naked. She's in her
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: like rejected Coachella outfit that just picked for her. Meredith
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: doesn't even take her swimsuit off from underneath the dress.
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: But I know I noticed that. I was like, you
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: can still see her bikini under her yellow dress? What
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: is going on?
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: I didn't understand the picking out the outfits, but I mean,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: it was supposed to be like I mean, her whole
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: explanation was it was supposed to be like a like
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: a trust you know, a trust experiment where the other
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: person picks out something for you and you're supposed to
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: trust what they give you to wear.
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: I don't know everything.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: The only people that I thought kind of tried to
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: do right by each other.
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: Were Monica, Oh yeah, or did they make that up? Monica?
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: Oh you're right?
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Were Monica and Mary yeah? Just because they were asking
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: each other do you like that? Like they actually went
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: just because.
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: They were alone. They weren't with the other women, so
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: they didn't know what was They didn't know. They actually
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: like followed the assignment. They were like, oh, this actually
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: seems like it might look good on you.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: I mean, every single one of their outfits except for
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: those two were absolutely ridiculous. But Auntie, you can tell
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: it's starting to hurt her feelings. You have to also
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: you didn't probably watch last season, but Angie on the
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: cast trip last year when she was a friend of Jinshaw.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: Poured a drink on her head. Oh well, like right
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: after a fresh blowout.
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: Like there were only two trips where she got alcohol
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: poured on her, and then the second trip she didn't
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: write it at all, like this isn't a.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: Warm welcome, Yeah, and then her friend that she's now
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: brought onto the show, which who knows how real? That's
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: the whole situation, right, any chance she can get she
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: is kind of up meriteth sass, Yeah she is.
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: I actually enjoy her in her confessionals, but not so
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: much with the other women saying that's the same thing.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: Yeah, and her confessionals when she's open and she's she's funny,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: she's funny, and she's she's funny occasionally. But I do
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: think she's making it a point. I don't know if
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: she's like wanting to double down on just maybe getting
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: I don't know why they all want Angie outa there.
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: I didn't understand that either. I don't I still, what
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: is it? I didn't understand it either, And I felt
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: like I felt badly for her because I felt like
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: all her conversations that she was trying to have with Meredith,
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: I felt like they were really reasonable and like she
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: was actually starting off like, hey, let's just you know,
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: I mean, she was being kind. She was like, what's
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: the problem with me? I don't really understand it, and
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: I don't know. And then Meredith was just like she
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: became like a whole other person. It was like a
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: like she needed like an exorcism.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: No, I mean, speaking of accents, the only person that
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: had a worse accent than us you're on this bond
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: was was it an accent.
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: Or did she just become a whole new person Because
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: I couldn't understand what was going on, she was like,
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: you can live. I was like, what is that? I
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: don't understand what's going on?
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: I mean, I well, first off, you know, whenever that
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: you're at a dinner and they start playing games, I'm like, oh,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: shit's getting boring. Yeah, and someone's like, all right, we
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: got to figure out how to spice this up, it's
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: inappropriate game that's going to make people off. And Heather
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: says that her cold and prickly for Angie is that
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: she doesn't trust her and even though they grow up together.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: And then of course they did Angie dirty by showing
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: her high school photo.
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: I was like, is that the same person?
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: I was like what.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: Meanwhile, Heather's like never, like, it's Heather's best photo she's
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: ever taken out right.
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: You know what that editor likes Heather, They're like, a
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: photo do you want us to use for this?
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: And then with Angie, they like search the internet, They're like,
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: worst photo we can possibly find.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: But I think my Spidey senses, which could be off.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: I think that they all felt like Angie was trying
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: to get on the show for a very long time
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: and couldn't and went through multiple different friends.
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: To try to do so. So is that what the
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: underlying tension is? That is they're not really talking about
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: the tension, but you don't really understand the tension.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: Yes, because you hear a Meriti say like, oh, you
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: said publicly that you'd never really be my friend. The
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: next comment is like, you've gone to everyone in this
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: group to be friends, so It's like, you know, I
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: feel like every franchise there is that person. But like,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: once they're in, shut the fuck up about it. I
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: don't care how they got in, right, I don't care
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: to go with it. You got to go with it,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: and that's your job.
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: Your job to go with it.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: So to me, I'm just like, at this point, she's in,
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: she got her snowflake, let it be. And then you know,
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: Monica bringing up her prickly did make sense to your
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: girl Lisa who and I love Lisa Barlow too, but
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: Lisa actually was receptive to it.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: You could tell it pissed her off. Yeah, she took it.
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: She did. She was like, duly noted, Okay, you can
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: shut the fuck up now, duly noted, Okay, got it.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: I duly noted, I fucking got it.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: Got it?
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: Come back? I can't.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: So clearly there's issues.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: But then, uh, what did you think about the scene?
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: I have to ask you this, what did you think
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: of the scene where Monica did the whole like I
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: just went to Louis Vaton and bought a bag because
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: I wanted to fit in with the other women, Like,
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: what did you think I thought.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: I was actually okay with that I thought it was
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: a good like it was a true moment where I think.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: I feel like I had that moment.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: At one point in Beverly Hills, I had a situation
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: where and but me, it wasn't necessarily about a bag, like,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: it was about like glaming. So it's not I don't
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: know if it's the same one I'll see, but everybody
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: blams every freaking time.
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: Yeah, no matter what, even if you're like waking up
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: in the morning, you're like, oh yeah, they're fully glammed.
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: And whether they can do their own glamor or they
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: pay for glam or whatever.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: I'm someone that cannot like the only reason I had, Like,
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: you will see me at ninety percent of these other
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: podcasts and I will look like complete Hell. I am
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: glam today because I had an important meeting this morning
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: in which I had to be glam. I can't put
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: on eyelashes, I can't do my hair, I look like,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: you know, there's nothing. So I remember there was a
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: situation where I like got home one night and like
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: cried to Edwin, I'm like, I feel out of place.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Everyone is in fucking costumes and done to the nines,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: and I feel.
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: Like I look like hell.
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: So you're saying that you understood that level of vulnerability
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: where she felt like she had to go to Louis
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: Vuitton and buy a five thousand dollars bag so that
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: she could fit in with everybody else. But then she
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: makes fun of Lisa Barlowe for talking about her sixty
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: thousand dollars ring.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: I think that she's saying if she would have been
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: open with the women and not just her mother, yeah
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: about like, oh, it would have been more impactful.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: It would have been more impactful.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: Yeah, Like if she would have said, listen, guys, Like
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: if she would have said in that moment, Lisa, I'm
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: just trying to like make do here and like splurge
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: for this bag just so I can fit in with
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: the group.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: So when you throw it in my face that you
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: have a sixty.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Thousand dollar ring ring twenty times, it makes me feel
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: like shit, Yeah that I could have probably gotten it.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: It just I don't think she parlayed the message the
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: correct way.
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, totally.
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: What about when she yelled out that she's been fucking
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: her brother in.
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: Law, Yeah, brother in law, Yeah, Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: I mean, that's a nice breaker. I was like, well,
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: that's one way to keep a snowflake. Yeah yeah, I
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: mean I was like ripping the band aid off. Like
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: she didn't even like, you know, like narrate something to
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: like transition into it. She says like, I fuck my
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: brother in law for what eighteen months or something. Wasn't
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: that what it was?
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: But I mean at this table, I don't know if
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: you know the backstory, but I guess you know, because
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: Mary was married.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: To her grandfather. Nothing shocks these women anymore.
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: Yeah, because I not even really followed up. I know
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: that's I was like, wait, why, I don't understand. I
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: spent an entire season picking apart Gin for DRAWNTI because
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: she cheated on her husband or whatever, and this woman
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: just blurrets out that she was having an affair with
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: her brother in law for eighteen months, and everybody's like.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: Oh, I was like, cheer anyway, rolls. I was like.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: The only thing they wanted to understand if it was
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: the brother's brother or her.
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: They wanted to get a sister's husband.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: That was it.
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: That's and then everyone was like okay, anyway, anyway, yeah,
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: moving right along the espresso martini please.
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: That was it.
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: And then we kind of we get back to.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: Angie and Meredith, where at this point, I'm sorry, I'm like,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: I'm done with Meredith.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I was like, I I like Meredith and I
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: and I and I've met Meredith multiple times, and I.
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: Just like questions because I've never actually met Meredith. She's
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: too good for me. What do you like about her?
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: I mean, I've just met her on a personal level
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: and just chatted with her. She's nice. I mean, that
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: was my first impression. She actually reached out to me
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: when she was first on the show, because I think
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: her husband's from Ohio, so she was like asking me
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: questions and I don't know. I mean, I just I
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: like Meredith. I don't have a problem with her. I
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: don't dislike her. But in that scene, I mean in life,
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: in real life, I like her. In that scene, I
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: did not like her. I was like, it just didn't
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: make sense. I was like, and then the security like
- 1:10:38Speaker 3: trying to get security to take her away, but she's
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: really talking to the waiter, and the waiter like, the
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: waiter has no clue.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: The waiter was like, I haven't even served you guys
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: dinner yet, right, I mean, like, and I don't give
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: a shit about your problems.
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: Right, And I mean, what was her expectation, Like, did
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: she really think they were going to like physically pick
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: her up and like remove her from the restaurant. I
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: didn't understand. I didn't really.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: I think at this point she must have been in
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: the black, Like at this point, there's no there's no
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: real recollection.
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: But then this is this is the part that sealed
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: the deal from me, once.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Angie said, you know, Angie makes a shitty comment about
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: like Angie the jewelry and her whatever, and then Meredith
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: walks away. But then Mareth does exactly what she's been
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: furious at Lisa.
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: Barlow for for years, the rumors, the rumors about the husband,
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: and yeah, I have.
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: A strong opinion about that, but go ahead.
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: Yeah no, but she this is my problem.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: She has honestly raked Lisa Barlow through the coals for
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: saying something that truly was off camera, like Lisa Barlow
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: was locked in the closet with a producer venting her
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: hot mic moment, right her hot Mike.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: Yeah, Meredith is not having a hot mic moment.
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: This, She's clearly Mike, she know she's being filmed.
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: Marlow goes to comfort her, which is of course they're
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: gonna film it. You can. I can assure you that
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: whomever it is, it's like a team is in there
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: zooming in and she takes that moment to say, what
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: about her fucking husband?
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, here's the thing. This, this pisses me off
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: as a housewife because it's happened to me. I hate it.
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: I hate it when people do the whole I know something,
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: I've heard something, but I'm not gonna say what it is.
- 1:12:27Speaker 3: Like they try to rationalize that they're a good person,
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: like they're being you know, like a good person by
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: not telling you what the rumor is. But there's a rumor.
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: I hate that. I feel like there's only two ways
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: you can go. Either shut the fuck up and don't
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: say anything at all, or spill the beans. I don't
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: like that intermediate in the middle.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: Like, yeah, either say exactly what it fucking is, like
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: listen your husband, or don't bring it up at all. Yeah,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: And if you don't have the balls to bring it up,
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: shut the fuck up about it, or you're, in my opinion,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: you're just making it up.
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: Yeah, because otherwise all you're doing is you're literally your
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: intent is malicious because your intent is so that people
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: know that there's rumors out there. But then you're preserving
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: yourself by saying, oh, but I'm not going to say
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: what it is, you know, because I'm a good person.
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: I'm not going to do that. But no, now you
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: just leave it out there to hang in the in
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: the environment for people to create their own scenario, their
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: own which is probably worse than what the actual rumors are, you.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: Know which, And at this point, like, I don't even
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: think any of the women are It's I don't think
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: it's a situation like where you're currently in, where a
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: lot of it is relationship driven. I don't think Salt Lake,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: we don't hear a ton about their relationships with their
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: significant others. Yeah, so I feel like it's just her
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: way of trying to make Angie look like an asshole.
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: Yeah but I see, I just think she looks like
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: an asshole in that situation. I don't think Angie does.
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, but I don't know.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: I think that Meredith is also going to get like
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: who who At this point, I'm trying to understand, It's like,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: who is Meredith actually.
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: Trust in this group?
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: Who does Meredith like, we're really supposed to believe that
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: Meredith's best friend is Mary.
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's right, because it always says that Mary.
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I guess.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: I mean, I know we're running over time, but in
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: the final part it's it's they're in the They're in
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: the sprinter van, which.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: Is always torture. On five martinis, I will probably throw
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: up in a fucking sprinter I hate being a sprinter van.
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: Yeah I did too.
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: But three things that.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: I never need to see on Housewives are at throwing
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: a shaman what is it a shaman? A shaman session?
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: And somebody vomiting their bodily fluids.
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: I don't I got and it not only vomiting, but
- 1:14:54Speaker 3: like it's dripping like it's not it's clear it's coming
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: out of the back.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: And Whitney banging to get out of the of the car.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: But we do get to hear what is it that
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: Heather sprouted up to say? Predator?
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: Mary kept saying, you guys like I'm a pornographer, pornography.
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: I was like, what is she talking about? This is
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: the most bizarre fight I've ever heard, and the Whitney's like.
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: What Whitney's thoughts. She's like, I don't understand.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: Like Mary at this point say like starts with a P.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: It's a concert. It's similar to pornography, but not really.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: Because you called me pornography, I was like, what, Oh
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: my gosh. Well that's the end of this week's episode.
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: You guys.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: We will be back to recap again next week and
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: send us any questions thoughts concerned that you may have
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: for either of us.
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: Emily, thank you so much for filling it
