- 0:06I j felon here. Thanks for listening to the
- 0:08Supreme slope. So I've had a slew of stories
- 0:12lately regarding a Christianity and the Bible, I think 99% of
- 0:18these stories have been in - it's been in my mind.
- 0:23It's been a, there's been an attack.
- 0:25There is currently an attack on Christianity on the Bible.
- 0:30From our woke left media institutions especially here in
- 0:34Australia. They do not Mind whatsoever.
- 0:37Slagging off about Christianity running the Bible into the
- 0:40ground. Doesn't bother them at all.
- 0:42You cannot say anything about. Well, let's put it this way.
- 0:47You couldn't say anything negative or derogatory heaven
- 0:50forbid. Not that I would want it, but
- 0:52you can't say anything bad about about the rainbow people.
- 0:57Nothing at all. But you can say, you can make
- 1:00whatever outrageous and outlandish claims you want about
- 1:04Christianity. And about the Bible, All about
- 1:06God and that's all fine apparently, especially if you're
- 1:09in the media. But anyway, that just to start
- 1:13off because I've got a good story, a good story.
- 1:16And this one came out a couple of days ago, but I first saw it
- 1:20on Fox News and I tell you what, I'm very glad for happy for this
- 1:26pastor in Canada. The headline, says Pastor
- 1:29acquitted after being arrested when police helicopter found
- 1:34Church Gathering Outside during and dimmick, you remember during
- 1:39the pandemic when no one could gather you couldn't Gather in
- 1:43groups or anything especially churches in my area.
- 1:46When I was living in, in Brisbane, there was shops, like
- 1:52sex shops that were open your letter to go and buy whatever
- 1:56they sell it, the sex shops toys and all that kind of
- 1:58paraphernalia, but you couldn't go to church, you couldn't go to
- 2:03church, not at all. You can go to a Sex shop, can't
- 2:07go to church. You can go to the local bottle
- 2:09shop. Couldn't go to church.
- 2:12So yeah, very happy when this story came out.
- 2:15So it's actually a regarding Canadian Pastor, who was
- 2:19arrested twice in 2021 for continuing to congregate, with
- 2:24his church in Calgary Alberta. During the pandemic was
- 2:28acquitted of the public health related charges against him.
- 2:33So the Provincial Court of Alberta Halstead charges against
- 2:37pasta. Tim Stevens alleging, he
- 2:39violated Public Health orders, regarding physical, distancing
- 2:44his Attorneys at the Calgary based Justice Center for
- 2:47constitutional freedoms announced in a press release.
- 2:51Stevens was imprisoned twice last year, for keeping his
- 2:55Fairview Baptist Church open his second arrest, which reportedly
- 3:00happened after a police helicopter.
- 3:02Found his church Gathering outside after police had locked
- 3:06their Church prompted Senator. Josh Hawley to send a letter to
- 3:11the u.s. commission on International religious freedom.
- 3:15Urging it to consider adding Canada to which watch list.
- 3:19We are pleased that the court has acquitted past Stevens on
- 3:22the charges of not complying with public health order
- 3:25attorneys for Steven said, in a statement, provided to Fox News
- 3:29digital Pastor Stevens, was illegally arrested and
- 3:33imprisoned for having allegedly violated.
- 3:35Public Health orders which has since been shown to be
- 3:39ineffective and harmful this decision sets the record
- 3:43straight about the justifiability of his actions
- 3:46and about the importance of respecting Charter.
- 3:48Rights and freedoms, the statement added Stevens,
- 3:52acquittal comes weeks. After Daniel Smith, Albert has a
- 3:56new premier promised. A plan to Pardon covid offenders
- 4:00in the province. Her Administration follows that
- 4:03of Jason Kennedy or Keeney, who publicly apologized after his
- 4:08political opponents, excoriated him when he was secretly
- 4:13photographed, violating his own covid rules 24 times during one
- 4:18dinner with his cabinet, ministers in 2021.
- 4:21So in a recent speech at her political parties, annual
- 4:25general meeting the new premier noted that the pastors who were
- 4:29arrested in Alberta come to top of mind.
- 4:31She says, when she thinks of people who are unfairly Lized
- 4:36for disobeying. The covid rules in Canada, which
- 4:39has had some of the strictest mandates in the world.
- 4:43Listen, this is a fantastic story.
- 4:45I just hope this goes this well for people in Australia who
- 4:49being treated this way. So disdainfully we had a pastor
- 4:55here it down Victoria who was arrested for incitement and that
- 5:00was again because he refused to shut his church down.
- 5:05So he actually probably The Story Goes, he actually closed
- 5:08down the first time, you know, as we all did, when we thought
- 5:12it was just going to be a 14-day little breathing.
- 5:16Give the government breathing space.
- 5:18However, when it continued on, he put a post up saying that he
- 5:22would not be closing in his church again and, you know, and
- 5:27then he was arrested, he was actually held in remand for
- 5:30seven days. Seven days to be held in remand
- 5:33for incitement in Australia. That is so extreme in a still
- 5:37have been heard how that court case has gone.
- 5:39I see tried to make contact with said that he had been told that
- 5:43he must not discuss the case at all and he was, he was sticking
- 5:47to his guns. But this is tyranny absolute
- 5:53tyranny and it's good to see a case like this overturned, a
- 5:57good news story. Finally, finally people standing
- 6:01up for righteousness. A Stevens also said in this
- 6:04article that What has happened to me as only furthered the
- 6:08cause of Christ and for that, I Rejoice.
- 6:12He also said yet as we head into another flu season, it is a
- 6:15relief to know that we have a leader who understands the
- 6:18discriminations and abuses of power over the past few years.
- 6:23As Christians, we pray for our leaders and that their governing
- 6:26would be in a coordinate, in accordance to God's principles,
- 6:30which lead to freedom and prosperity.
- 6:34So Stevens was actually, one of several pastors who were
- 6:38imprisoned in Alberta for refusing to obey the government
- 6:42for shuttering, their Church's. Pastor James coats who was a
- 6:46friend of Stephens and was the first clergyman to be jailed in
- 6:49Canada, in the name of Public Health, spent more than a month
- 6:53in prison in 2021. After he opened his grace Life
- 6:57Community Church in Edmonton, which is about a three hour
- 7:00drive north from Calgary. In this case, federal law,
- 7:04Forcement later, raided Grace, lost building, and Dawn, locked
- 7:08it and barricaded it behind three, layers of fencing.
- 7:13A coats also expressed gratitude for the new premier, but her
- 7:18courage, and speaking up against the disgraceful way, we were
- 7:21treated by our government. Though, it brought about a
- 7:24wonderful occasion for the glory of Christ to be displayed, it
- 7:28was nevertheless a miscarriage of justice as I said.
- 7:34It's great news for Christianity, great news.
- 7:36For these pastors at these clergymen in Canada, is good to
- 7:39see Justice Prevail. However, I still believe that
- 7:43the pandemic was just the starting point.
- 7:46This was just globalist seeing how far they could push things
- 7:51how far they could force. How far they could push
- 7:55deplorable and tie Rena Clause before the people would start to
- 8:00push back this, I believe was a testing time.
- 8:04Real astrology. We failed miserably as I keep
- 8:07saying, we need to hold our politicians accountable, hold
- 8:13them accountable. They need to stand up for
- 8:16righteousness. Do not allow them to get away
- 8:19with acting unrighteously. I hope the people of Victoria
- 8:24are listening to this and going to make Premier Dan Andrews,
- 8:29answer for his unjustifiable and unrighteous Acts.
- 8:34Invicta in the state of Victoria Australia.
- 8:37That's my opinion. I thank God for the some good
- 8:41news. Thank you for listening.
- 8:42A to the slippery slope
