- 0:00America, we are so fucking back, baby.
- 0:02Welcome to another episode of America Unfiltered.
- 0:05We got a great show for you guys.
- 0:07We have just one major topic I want to talk about tonight.
- 0:11I want to talk about America Fest.
- 0:12I want to talk about what happened there, the different
- 0:15speeches, the different breakout rooms, the different debates
- 0:18that were happening. And once again, Nick Fuentes was
- 0:23right. Nick Fuentes fucked Turning
- 0:26Point USA and now it is filled with gropers.
- 0:29And that became very clear this weekend.
- 0:33I mean, everybody was pandering to the gropers.
- 0:35Everybody besides Ben Shapiro, who pretty much got laughed out
- 0:38of the fucking event. Ben Shapiro made an
- 0:42embarrassment of himself. And again, I, I think the
- 0:47downfall of Ben Shapiro is something we're all kind of
- 0:49celebrating a little bit. He, he taught us how to debate.
- 0:52He, he taught us critical thinking skills when we were
- 0:55younger, We watched his videos, we grew up watching him only for
- 0:59us to come back and defeat him. The gropers are here.
- 1:03We're not going anywhere. And America Fest, it was filled
- 1:07with gropers. So I want to talk about that
- 1:10today. It's going to be a fun show
- 1:12again. It's not going to be the longest
- 1:14show, it's not going to be the craziest show, but it will be a
- 1:17very fun one. I think America Fest was a
- 1:20pretty crazy event. I sadly was not able to make it
- 1:23this year, but I will be there next year.
- 1:26But sadly, I was sick. There was too many complications
- 1:29with it being this close to the holidays.
- 1:31But I'll make it work for next year.
- 1:32Don't worry guys, but we do have a lot of footage to go over a
- 1:36lot of videos that were uploaded on the X platform and on YouTube
- 1:41of Turning Point US as America Fest.
- 1:43We're going to show videos from Ben Shapiro, Tuck Carlson,
- 1:47Bannon, Vivek Ramaswamy, who again, he he made an
- 1:50embarrassment of himself as well.
- 1:52He was like, there's no such thing as a heritage American.
- 1:55Anybody can become an American just by moving here.
- 1:59Fuck you, you're wrong. Who are you?
- 2:02Who are you? And I kind of used to like Vivek
- 2:05as well. And then as I learned more and
- 2:09more and as I my views evolved, it just faded away pretty fast.
- 2:15I mean, Vivek is, he's embarrassing.
- 2:18And he, he, it's very clear he, he hates the identity politics.
- 2:22And that's something we talk about a lot here.
- 2:24Identity politics are important. I mean, it's who we are.
- 2:27I'm a white Christian man and I am unapologetic about it.
- 2:31I think Vivek Ramaswami wants everybody to just be super
- 2:35accepting of all cultures in America, and he doesn't think
- 2:38America actually has a culture. He thinks the multiculturalism
- 2:42that has been happening is the culture of America.
- 2:46No, it's not. You're fucking wrong.
- 2:48And we're going to talk about that today.
- 2:50I also want to end the show going over a debate that I
- 2:54watched from America Fest. There was a lot of different
- 2:57debates and breakout rooms and things like that, and I haven't
- 3:00seen all of them. So I don't want to say that this
- 3:01was definitely the best cause. Again, there could have been one
- 3:04I didn't see that was better or equal to.
- 3:07But the debate between Kentucky and Michael Knowles was very
- 3:11great. It was the ballroom debate and
- 3:13we are going to watch the full debate at the end of the show
- 3:17today. I'm filming this earlier in the
- 3:19day, so we won't be doing comments today.
- 3:21We will be doing all the comments from yesterday's show
- 3:23and today's show on Friday when we're back on Friday after the
- 3:28holidays, after Christmas Eve and Christmas, I hope everyone
- 3:32is able to have a beautiful holiday season with their
- 3:35family, beautiful Christmas with their family.
- 3:38Christmas is it's a very fun time of the year.
- 3:40It's nice to be with family, it's nice to celebrate, it's
- 3:43fun, you know, I love Christmas, hope you guys do too.
- 3:46I'm a little tired right now as well.
- 3:48Like I said, I'm filming this pretty early in the day and I'm
- 3:51about to go get on a flight. But with that we are going to
- 3:54get right into the show. I want to remind you guys to
- 3:56like smash the follow button, leave a comment, let me know you
- 3:59think about the show. All the comments will read at
- 4:01the end of Friday. Show rate the show 5 stars on

- 4:10But with that, let's get right into the show.
- 4:12Let's stop wasting time. Let's get over to our big
- 4:15screen. We're going to go video by
- 4:18video. We got a few different ones to
- 4:20show you. I want to start with Ben Shapiro
- 4:23and then we'll go over to Tucker Carlson's response to Ben
- 4:26Shapiro. Then we'll go into Bannon and
- 4:29then we'll go into Vivek. We'll do one or two Erica videos
- 4:35and then a JD Vance video before we get into the debate at the
- 4:39very end just to lay out what the show is going to look like.
- 4:42But it's very clear the gripers won.
- 4:43The gripers have won. They've taken over.
- 4:46And this was a very fun clip to watch.
- 4:51And Jack Pasovic even gave his take on this clip right here.
- 4:55You cited during your speech truth as the most important
- 4:58tenet of American conservatism. Why, therefore, did you call
- 5:02irrelevant the Israeli attack in 1967 on the USS Liberty with
- 5:08left dozens of American servicemen dead?
- 5:11At hundreds wounded. You guys hear that fucking
- 5:14applause that that might have been the loudest applause all
- 5:17weekend? That that was the loudest
- 5:19applause all weekend from almost any video I saw.
- 5:23The griping of America's here, baby.
- 5:26So what I actually said is that if we're looking at modern
- 5:28Israeli American relations, looking at an attack that
- 5:31happened mistakenly by multiple Navy reports, multiple Israeli
- 5:34reports and all available evidence, and using that attack
- 5:37in order to undermine today's relations between Israel and
- 5:39America, that's irrelevant. As relevant as it would be to
- 5:41cite a piece of evidence from World War 2 or from 1776 to
- 5:43define America's relations with, for example, Great Britain or
- 5:46Germany today, that. So he thinks it's irrelevant to
- 5:48cite something from the 60s but he constantly talks about the
- 5:52Holly? Come on Ben, you're
- 5:56contradicting yourself. Does not mean that the attack
- 5:58wasn't horrible for the Americans involved, that it
- 6:01wasn't bloody and terrible. You can't ask these questions.
- 6:04A little call back to Candace's freaky clip.
- 6:08The Israeli government paid reparations to the people who
- 6:10were killed. If you look at the actual
- 6:11military record of what happened on the USS Liberty, it was
- 6:14clearly a mistaken and tragic attack.
- 6:16The people who frequently cite the.
- 6:18They're flying an American flag. They had American whole numbers
- 6:21and it was a radio broadcast ship where they were
- 6:23broadcasting over air saying this is an American ship, stop
- 6:27attacking us. But no, it was a mistake.
- 6:30And then he justifies it by saying the flag fell.
- 6:32It's like OK, but what about the whole numbers with them
- 6:34broadcasting and the flag fell because they attacked the ship
- 6:37and the flag was knocked out? The USS Liberty, however, are
- 6:40not talking about the specifics of the USS Liberty.
- 6:42I suspect that the vast majority of people who bring this up are
- 6:44doing so in order to suggest that Israel deliberately attacks
- 6:47an American ship because Israel deliberately wants to harm
- 6:49America. It's connected generally with a
- 6:51larger. It's not because they generally
- 6:53want to harm America. It's because they wanted to pull
- 6:56a false flag and get us involved in a war.
- 6:58And it worked. Point.
- 7:00I wonder if that's your point. If the truth matters, then the
- 7:05Israeli government must be held accountable for that attack.
- 7:08The American flag was flying on that ship.
- 7:11You do not mistake an American ship for a foreign one when our
- 7:14flag is flying. So and we can spend the rest of
- 7:17the time talking about the specifics of US liberties have
- 7:19or you can actually go look at the naval investigations that
- 7:22were done, multiple naval investigations that were done.
- 7:24The reality is that people were flying Mirage planes for the
- 7:26Israeli military at the time. The USS Liberty was sailing in
- 7:28an area where did essentially go on off grid.
- 7:30The Israeli military mistook it for an Egyptian ship and they
- 7:33thought it was shelling all Arish, which happened not to be
- 7:34true in the initial attack. The American flag was knocked
- 7:36down and then the attack went on for.
- 7:37About in the initial attack. So the American flag was there,
- 7:40they still attacked it, the flag was knocked down, and then they
- 7:43continued to attack it. Why'd the initial attack
- 7:47happened? 90 minutes and then as soon you
- 7:49can hear this by the way, on the tapes of the Israeli clouds
- 7:51talking to each other, as soon as they realize that it's an
- 7:53American ship, they call off the attack.
- 7:54They speed a ship to try and help the USS Liberty.
- 7:57Yeah, that was planned, Ben. That was planned there.
- 7:59Have been multiple unfortunate friendly fire incidents between
- 8:02allied forces, including for example in the Gulf War where
- 8:03U.S. forces were responsible for killing about 9 British troops
- 8:06during the Gulf War. It's an unfortunate reality of
- 8:07war. But you're not answering my
- 8:09question, which is what is your broader agenda in asking the
- 8:12question? Because I suspect that your
- 8:13question is not limited to your specific ire over an incident
- 8:15that happened in 1967. I think we should question any
- 8:23foreign countries relationship with our government.
- 8:25That's totally fine. I'm just wondering why you serve
- 8:27American interests. Again, that I'm perfectly fine
- 8:30with questioning any countries relationship with the United
- 8:31States. But again, I'm wondering what
- 8:33your motivation is in bringing up a six decade old attack as
- 8:37though it is the number one issue in assessing the
- 8:39relationship between Israel and the United States today.
- 8:41Well, many problems persist to this day, but it's interesting
- 8:44that you say 6 decade old incident when there are many
- 8:47people in this audience who are alive for that attack as if this
- 8:50is sure that's irrelevant. Well, it doesn't.
- 8:51No, it's just not. Particularly relevant to
- 8:53assessing the relationship between the United States and
- 8:55Israel today in the same way that in 1967, there are a wide
- 8:59variety of countries with which the United States had different
- 9:01relations. OK, it's it's clearly not going
- 9:03to actually answer the question, so I'm happy to move to this
- 9:05one. Yeah, Ben Shapiro got mogged by
- 9:10a fucking kid. And then here's what Jack
- 9:12Pasobic had to say. And then we'll go back to
- 9:14Shapiro. As Navy veterans, as anyone who
- 9:17serves the Navy, you learn about, you study, and you
- 9:19realize that we live in a serious world.
- 9:21And it's something that a lot of people in the Navy feel that we
- 9:24never really got full accountability for, still have a
- 9:26lot of questions about. The Navy investigation that was
- 9:28done in the official statement that came out a lot of people
- 9:30said, you know, just doesn't feel like it's good enough when
- 9:32you have a naval a ship with flying the US flag that's being
- 9:35attacked by a country that you are nominally supposed to
- 9:38believe is an ally. But one interesting piece on
- 9:40this that I've also heard from Roger Stone goes like this.
- 9:44So if you look at it, the Blake when?
- 9:46Was the when was the Gulf of Tonkin?
- 9:48I think it was 6364. Yeah, 6364 was Gulf of Tonkin.
- 9:52Then you have USS Liberty, which comes in 67.
- 9:55And so the Gulf of Tonkin incident was a situation where
- 9:58the president at the time, LBJ, used this sort of like fake hoax
- 10:02to get the United States involved in the war in Vietnam
- 10:04by claiming a ship had been attacked.
- 10:06Roger Stone says that he's got evidence that it was LBJ was
- 10:09trying to do the exact same thing with the USS Liberty to
- 10:12try to get the US involved in that war as well, to turn around
- 10:15and claim that it wasn't Israel that attacked, but that it was
- 10:17Egypt that attacked. So I think that's an
- 10:18interesting, that's an interesting case study, and it's
- 10:20something that I'd certainly like looking a lot more myself.
- 10:24Yeah, Ben Shapiro wants to say it was nothing.
- 10:26Then Jack Pasovic's like, no, there's probably a false flag.
- 10:28And then here's Ben Shapiro seething a little bit more.
- 10:32So for example, if you host a Hitler apologist, Nazi loving,
- 10:35anti American piece of refuse like Nick Fuentes, you know the
- 10:44Nick Fuentes who said that the Vice President of the United
- 10:46States is a quote fat gay race traitor married to a jeet.
- 10:49The person who said that Charlie Kirk was a quote retarded idiot.
- 10:52The person who said and pardon my language here, it's his quote
- 10:55that he quote took Turning Point USA and fucked it and that's why
- 10:57it's filled with gripers. Do you guys find it funny that
- 11:00he said, he said Gee just fine, but then he gets to the part
- 11:05where he has to say fuck and he says part of my language, I'm
- 11:09gonna say Gee, it's fine though, but part of my language, fuck.
- 11:13Wait, that's crazy. That's kind of funny, but he's
- 11:19right. Nick fucked Turning Point USA
- 11:21and now it's filled with gripers he deposited right into Turning
- 11:25Point USA and look where we're at.
- 11:28If you have that person on your show and you proceed to glaze
- 11:31him, you ought to own it. Glaze glaze.
- 11:36He's trying to relate to the if you glaze him.
- 11:45There is a reason that Charlie Kirk despised at Nick Fuentes
- 11:48and indeed even tried into Nesh D'souza for debating him.
- 11:50He knew. Yeah, because Charlie was taking
- 11:52money from Israel. That was documented.
- 11:55That Nick Fuentes is an evil troll and that building him up
- 11:57is an act of moral imbecility. And that is precisely what
- 12:00Tucker Carlson did. He built Nick Fuentes up, and he
- 12:02ought to take responsibility for that, just as he ought to take
- 12:04responsibility for blazing pornographer and alleged sex
- 12:07trafficker Andrew Tate, or for mainstreaming fake historian.
- 12:10Now he's shitting on Tate. Cobra come on, don't make us
- 12:15send the army. Tate is a top G.
- 12:18And pseudo Nazi apologist Darrell Cooper, as America's
- 12:20best and most honest popular historian hosts are indeed
- 12:23responsible for the guests they choose and the questions that
- 12:25they ask those guests. Yeah, Ben Shapiro was seething.
- 12:35And then Tucker immediately just comes out and he's like, fuck
- 12:38you, Ben Shapiro, Thank you very much.
- 12:50Thank you. Walking out is always such a
- 12:53trip at these things. I just, I just got here and I
- 12:57feel like I missed the first part of the program.
- 12:58I hope I didn't miss anything meaningful, but I just want to
- 13:01say I don't think I did. No, I'm just kidding.
- 13:04I watched it. I laughed.
- 13:07I laughed at that kind of bitter, sardonic laugh that
- 13:10emerges from you. And like upside down world
- 13:12arrives when your dog starts doing your taxes and you're
- 13:15like, wait, it's not supposed to work this way.
- 13:17To hear calls for like deplatforming and denouncing
- 13:20people to Charlie Kirk event. I'm like, what?
- 13:22This is hilarious. Yeah, this is hilarious.
- 13:26Actually, one of the clips I was listening to myself thinking as
- 13:29I often do when I hear myself speak, which is never because I
- 13:31never watch myself, but at these events always play like the the
- 13:33role of you. And I'm like, that guy is
- 13:35pompous. Sorry about that.
- 13:37We don't see ourselves clearly. But the prediction that, you
- 13:41know, at some point when Republicans took power again,
- 13:43which I did everything I could, you know, to help and really
- 13:47felt that was important. I still think, you know, I was
- 13:49right. But I really thought that the
- 13:51impulse to de platform people or even to use the word platform as
- 13:55a verb, which it's not, it's a noun.
- 13:57Don't steal my nouns de platform and denounce.
- 14:00Why haven't you denounced somebody else?
- 14:02The whole like Red Guard cultural revolution thing that
- 14:05we so hated and feared on the left that we did everything we
- 14:08could to usher in a new time where you could have an actual
- 14:12debate. I mean, this kind of was the
- 14:13whole point of Charlie Kirk's public life.
- 14:16And I think that I think that he died for it.
- 14:20I really believe that. And I know a lot about it
- 14:22because the last several months of Charlie's life were devoted
- 14:26in part to arguing about this event.
- 14:29In fact, this speech, in fact, my speech here, which he asked
- 14:32me to do earlier this year, this summer, and was immediately put
- 14:35under just immense pressure from people who give money to Turning
- 14:38Point, I would assume good people, but who wanted him to
- 14:40take me off the roster. And this has all become public.
- 14:42And I, the whole thing is so sad that I never talked about it
- 14:44except to say Charlie stood firm in his often stated and deeply
- 14:49held belief that people should be able to debate.
- 14:52And that if you have something valid to say, if you're telling
- 14:55the truth, you ought to be able to explain it calmly and in
- 14:58detail to people who don't agree with you.
- 15:00And that you shouldn't immediately resort to shut up.
- 15:02Racist. Then we have another Tucker clip
- 15:07as well where he talks about the Ben Shapiro speech a little
- 15:12more. To question your motives,
- 15:14actually, why can't you answer the question?
- 15:15Why can't you answer that question?
- 15:17Why do you have to imply that some college kid is like some
- 15:20kind of Hitlerite or something because he's asking about an
- 15:22event? Like what?
- 15:24By the way, it is OK to ask questions.
- 15:26And I thought that was like the whole reason we were against the
- 15:30left. I'm not going to force you to
- 15:33get up there and make ritual denunciations because this isn't
- 15:35my religion. It's politics.
- 15:38By the way, your politics do not trump my love for other people.
- 15:41Remember my brother once said to question your motives, actually.
- 15:45And. Then we're going to keep going
- 15:48on with the Tucker clips. Most people agree with that.
- 15:51Most Americans have more in common with each other than they
- 15:55disagree on, and almost everybody agrees on that.
- 15:57And almost everybody is willing to tolerate a good faith
- 15:59argument about how to get there, except a few.
- 16:02And they're the ones running around calling everyone an anti
- 16:03Semite. But everyone else is like, yeah,
- 16:05of course that should be the debate and they'll vote for you.
- 16:07They want that because they know they haven't had that.
- 16:10That's the fact. And what you're watching now,
- 16:13attacking people on the attacking millions of Americans
- 16:15because they're Muslims, it's disgusting.
- 16:17And I'm a Christian. I'm not a Muslim.
- 16:19I'm never going. I know there's a lot of effort
- 16:20to claim I'm a secret jihadi. I'm not.
- 16:22You should not attack people on those grounds.
- 16:24And you're seeing it from Republic.
- 16:25What the hell are you doing? What you're doing is trying to
- 16:28divide the country. And I've lived through 50 years
- 16:30of this crap, all these fake race wars that they're always
- 16:32promoting. Oh, go hate each other while we
- 16:34loot the treasury. That's exactly what's going on.
- 16:36And most people are totally sick of that.
- 16:38So yes, there is a possibility for a huge coalition of decent
- 16:42people once they free their minds from the traps set for
- 16:44them by others and realize, wait a second, we all want to make
- 16:47this country better. And the 15% or 30% who don't,
- 16:50OK, you know, good luck in Maryland or wherever you wind
- 16:53up, but the rest of us would like to fix it.
- 16:58And then I think we just have one more Tucker video.
- 17:04Or was my theology is super simple.
- 17:07I like the beatitudes read them yesterday.
- 17:10I I actually think was it Michael reading them some of
- 17:11them here. I I think any person, any honest
- 17:14person says it's the essence of the Christian faith and killing
- 17:1710s of thousands of children and then making excuses for it on
- 17:21behalf of a foreign government is not in there.
- 17:22It's antithetical to that, sorry.
- 17:26It doesn't make me a hater. It makes me the opponent of
- 17:28hate. So now that I've alienated most
- 17:31in the crowd with my staunch position against violence and
- 17:36power worship and money worship, which are also prohibited and we
- 17:40should also keep that in mind and in all of us is the desire
- 17:42to suck up to power and accumulate money we don't need.
- 17:44We're not allowed to, sorry. Anyway, now I made everyone mad.
- 17:48Are there any questions that I can answer?
- 17:54See, I'm not all in on Tucker. I don't like the way he's kind
- 17:58of turned on Nick slightly, but I do like that he called out the
- 18:02genocide. I do like that he called out
- 18:04Usury. I like that he called out Ben
- 18:05Shapiro. And his CIA connections are
- 18:08still kind of iffy and we do have to question that.
- 18:11But I do appreciate that somebody at America Fest stood
- 18:16up for the America First Patriots, even if they are
- 18:19pandering. I, I still think it's important
- 18:22that an at an event of this magnitude that there is somebody
- 18:25who is going to speak for the America Firsters in the room.
- 18:30I mean, that room is full of gropers right now.
- 18:32A lot of people who dislike Israel, question Israel,
- 18:35criticize Israel, and that's a good thing.
- 18:38We need people to criticize foreign governments.
- 18:40We need people to give these government shit when they take
- 18:44money from us or attack us or push us into wars we don't need
- 18:48to be in. So I think it's a really
- 18:50positive thing that the griping of America and the griping of
- 18:53Turning Point USA is happening. And I thought Bannon gave a a
- 18:58good little speech there. Let's I got a couple clips of
- 19:02Bannon that I want to show you guys too.
- 19:05Shapiro is like a cancer, and that cancer spreads.
- 19:12It's a cancer and it metastasizes.
- 19:14He tried to take over Breitbart and I ran him out of there.
- 19:17He tried to take over David Horowitz's, who was his mentor.
- 19:20Don't ask me, ask the guys associated with David Horowitz
- 19:22what he did there. He tried to take that over.
- 19:24And mark my word, he will make a move on Turning Point because
- 19:28he's always been envious of Charlie Kirk.
- 19:33Shapiro is like a cancer and that cancer.
- 19:36Shapiro is like a cancer and he said he'll make a move on
- 19:39Turning Point. Sorry about that.
- 19:45And I like Bannon and questioning him a little bit
- 19:48because there are photos of him and Epstein.
- 19:50And I do want answers to that. Very obviously, I think anyone
- 19:53involved with Epstein, no matter what their policies are, we need
- 19:56to denounce. So hopefully we get more
- 19:59information on that. But I do think he gave a good
- 20:02speech at Turning Point at America Fest, and this was
- 20:06another little snippet of his speech as well.
- 20:10And here's I want to make sure that we get something straight
- 20:11tonight. We have a partners discussion
- 20:14and I want to say up front if I hurt some feelings here, you can
- 20:17come and talk to me afterwards. This whole thing that's going on
- 20:21the last couple days from the comments tonight, this is not
- 20:24about this specific incident. It's not about freedom of speech
- 20:28or platforming or deplatforming. They're all talking about that
- 20:30and that's, you know, people are saying hurtful things to each
- 20:33other. Tucker said the quiet part out
- 20:36loud. This is a proxy on 28 now.
- 20:40I think it's way too early to be thinking about 28.
- 20:43But he's right about one thing. This is a proxy on an issue
- 20:47that's not freedom of speech and not are you going to get
- 20:50platform to deplatformed. This is about a situation that
- 20:56Charlie Kirk was probably one of the most, if not the most
- 21:00important person in doing and accomplishing, and that is his
- 21:04concept of what I would call greater Israel and Israel first.
- 21:11Wow, people calling out Greater Israel Project and Israel first.
- 21:16I mean, that's huge as well to happen at an event of this
- 21:19magnitude. And there were even like, little
- 21:21arguments between just, you know, your traditional GOP
- 21:26conservatives and your gropers, or may I say the traditional
- 21:31conservative women and the groy pets.
- 21:35But here's a little debate between a groy pet and some
- 21:37seething bitch that's. The issue.
- 21:42We're going to fix that audio. Sorry, that was probably fucking
- 21:45crazy loud. Here we go.
- 21:47Let's restart that. That's the issue.
- 21:52I'm a proud supporter of English.
- 21:53Amazing. A little boy.
- 21:55No, he's not a. Little boy.
- 21:56So do you also think Keller was cool and he was like a.
- 21:59Good guy, I mean, bad survey. Because really because very anti
- 22:02Christian, very anti western civilization, obviously I very
- 22:06anti equals. OK, but I think that is for me.
- 22:09But then you're saying the numbers of the Holocaust were.
- 22:11See, a good edit's a good edit like I mean, they just don't get
- 22:15that a good edit is a good edit. Not the real numbers.
- 22:23There are 4 million right now. When you're becoming
- 22:26historically a literally become cool.
- 22:28But when did that become? That's the.
- 22:32Issue, she is a proud Groy bro. A proud Groy bet, may we say.
- 22:35I mean, that's awesome. We got Groy Betts literally
- 22:38holding the fucking line at Amfest for Nicholas J Fuentes,
- 22:41which is awesome. We're going to keep going on
- 22:44with the show here. Let me get our next clip pulled
- 22:47up. There we go.
- 22:49I want to talk about this Vivec. I mean, Vivec was one of the
- 22:53most embarrassing speeches possibly the entire weekend.
- 22:57People thought Ben Shapiro's was bad.
- 22:59Vivec literally got up there and was like, no, America doesn't
- 23:03have a culture and I'll let you guys see it.
- 23:07It's fucking absurd. I have two Vivec clips I want to
- 23:09show you guys and. Ronald Reagan understood this.
- 23:12He famously said, you know, you could go to Italy, but you would
- 23:15never be an Italian. Ronald Reagan.
- 23:17But. You would never be a German.
- 23:19You could pack your bags and live the rest of your life in
- 23:21China or Japan. You would never be Chinese or
- 23:23Japanese. But you can come from any one of
- 23:25those countries to the United States of America and you can
- 23:27still be an American. They can pledge allegiance to
- 23:29the ideals in that frat, so long as you work hard.
- 23:32Nope. You play by the rules, you make
- 23:34your contributions, obtain your citizenship.
- 23:36You are every bit an American as somebody descended from the
- 23:39Mayflower. It is called the American Dream
- 23:42for a reason. There is no Canadian dream.
- 23:44There is. James Fishback said this when I
- 23:46met him, and I found it to be a good comparison to this,
- 23:49actually. But we used to repeat the Matt
- 23:53Walsh talking point. What is a woman?
- 23:54And liberals would say a woman is someone who identifies as a
- 23:58woman. That's basically what he's doing
- 24:00here. It's like, what's an American?
- 24:01American is someone who identifies as American.
- 24:03No, that's not true. American is somebody who
- 24:07actually fits into the culture. European descent, usually.
- 24:10American is somebody who is the with founding stock in this
- 24:14country. I mean, Vivek, you couldn't be
- 24:17more wrong, could not be more wrong.
- 24:20There's no British dream. It sounds kind of goofy to say
- 24:22it There's no Chinese dream, OK, It is the American dream that
- 24:27makes American exceptionalism possible.
- 24:28And the answer of what it means to be a conservative, this is
- 24:31what it's. Up to the American dream is
- 24:32being born in this fucking country.
- 24:34Your parents being born in this country, having kids and having
- 24:39a house, not not a fucking anchor baby like you coming into
- 24:42my country and taking jobs in spots in the schools.
- 24:46Now that that's not the American dream, Vivek, go the fuck home.
- 24:49Just answer It is a fork in the road for the future of the
- 24:51conservative movement right now. What does it mean to be a
- 24:54conservative? It means we can serve those
- 24:56ideals that define our country. And now is a moment, a time for
- 25:01choosing in the future of our conservative movement.
- 25:06Yeah, you sound like a dumb bitch.
- 25:09About criticizing the woke left. Now let me get to the harder
- 25:12part. There's a different vision of
- 25:14American identity that's emergent in certain corridors of
- 25:16the online right. And it says that your identity
- 25:19as an American is based on your lineage, that how long you have
- 25:24been in the country, your lineage and your genetics tied
- 25:26to the blood and soil of the country determines how American
- 25:29you are. It is the idea of a heritage
- 25:30American. It says.
- 25:31The truest format of an American is somebody who is a descendant
- 25:34of the American Revolution period or before.
- 25:37And I will tell you this idea of the heritage American, we ought
- 25:40to have this discussion. It's becoming more popular.
- 25:43I think the idea. Of a heritage American is about
- 25:45as loony as anything the woke left has actually put up.
- 25:49There is no American who is more American than somebody else.
- 25:52The American quality, it's not like the left, they believe in
- 25:54this non binary stuff. There's no non binary American.
- 25:56It is binary. Either you're an American or
- 25:58you're not and you think about it.
- 26:00I could prove this to you. Thank you.
- 26:00I'll take some applause. No, that's not true.
- 26:03Some people are just here taking up space.
- 26:06What's on that, if you really. Believe in this idea.
- 26:11Think about where it leads you, leads you to believe that Donald
- 26:14Trump is less of an American than Joe Biden because Donald
- 26:16Trump's mother was an immigrant and his grandfather was an
- 26:19immigrant. That doesn't make any sense.
- 26:20Leads you to believe that somehow Bernie Sanders is more
- 26:23of an American than Senator Bernie Moreno from my home state
- 26:26and America First Patriot. Because Bernie Moreno was a
- 26:28naturalized citizen from Colombia.
- 26:30It makes you think that Marco Rubio, our great secretary of.
- 26:33Yeah, he's not a real American. State is somehow less of an
- 26:37American than Elizabeth Warren because she's a Native American,
- 26:40which we all know, right? Doesn't make any sense.
- 26:42No, a Native American is someone like me.
- 26:44I'm native to the land of America.
- 26:46You are not Vivek. Go the fuck home.
- 26:51It's loony. It's crazy talk.
- 26:52Go home. It makes you believe that
- 26:54somehow I am less of an American than the transgender criminal
- 26:57who assassinated Charlie Kirk. We refuse to accept that the
- 27:01idea that a heritage American is a more American than another
- 27:03American is UN American at its core.
- 27:05And I will fight to the very end for that, because that's what it
- 27:07means to be an American. We believe in ideals.
- 27:10That is who we are. Yeah, no, fuck off.
- 27:17All right, We're going to get to our last couple of videos.
- 27:19I have two JD Vance videos. In this one Erica Kirk video, it
- 27:22seems pretty clear that they've already decided JD Vance 2028 is
- 27:26who they want. And I'm not for Vance.
- 27:29I think there's too many connections with Silicon Valley,
- 27:32Palantir, Peter Thiel, corruption with the Israel
- 27:36lobby. But we're going to, we're going
- 27:40to watch these videos. This is Erica Kirk saying she
- 27:44wants to get JD Vance elected as the 48th president.
- 27:49For both 2026 and 2028, we're investing in States and not just
- 27:53in races. So what I mean by that is we are
- 27:56building the red. Wall.
- 27:57Arizona, Nevada, New Hampshire. That's going to be very
- 28:00important to us. We're going to ensure that
- 28:02President Trump has Congress for all four years.
- 28:07Probably not going to happen. We are going to get my husband's
- 28:10friend JD Vance elected for 48 and the most resounding way
- 28:15possible. Yeah, that's definitely not
- 28:17going to happen. 2026 and 2028 we're invested.
- 28:21JD Vance is going to lose, and it's going to be very fucking
- 28:24embarrassing for Turning Point when they spend 100, some
- 28:27$1,000,000 to get this guy elected and he loses still.
- 28:31But here's JD Vance trying to avoid the Groiper curse.
- 28:33He's trying to do everything he can to avoid denouncing the
- 28:36Groipers completely. And some people saw the clip
- 28:39where he was like where he told Nick to eat shit.
- 28:43But if you actually listen to the full clip, he's like anybody
- 28:46who talks about my wife, whether it's this lady or Nick Fuentes,
- 28:49they could eat shit. That's not denouncing, that's
- 28:51just saying fuck off when it comes to talking about my wife,
- 28:53which is honestly a more respectable statement side of
- 28:56you. I mean all of you, each and
- 28:58everyone. President Trump did not build
- 29:01the greatest coalition in politics by running his
- 29:04supporters through endless self defeating period.
- 29:06He tests, he says, make America Great again because every
- 29:11American is invited. We don't care if you're white or
- 29:19black, rich or poor, young or old, rural or urban,
- 29:25controversial or a little bit boring, or somewhere in between.
- 29:29People of every faith come to our banner because they know
- 29:32that the America First movement will make their lives better.
- 29:35And they also know that the Democrats don't care about
- 29:36anything other than maybe transiting their kids.
- 29:42So if you love America, if you want all of us to be richer,
- 29:45stronger, safer and prouder, you have a home on this team.
- 29:56I didn't bring a list of conservatives to denounce or to
- 29:58de platform, and I don't really care if some people out there,
- 30:02I'm sure will have the fake news media denounce me after the
- 30:04speech. But let me just say, the best
- 30:07way to honor Charlie is that none of us here should be doing
- 30:11something after Charlie's death that he himself refused to do in
- 30:14life. He invited all of us here.
- 30:23Charlie invited all of us here for a reason, because he
- 30:25believed in each of us. All of us had something worth
- 30:34saying, and he trusted all of you to make your own judgement.
- 30:38And we have far more. I
- 30:51didn't realize I stole my mic muted from when I called.
- 30:53My bad. But that was Van China.
- 30:55Not denounced. The gripers kind of sidestepping
- 30:59things a little bit, but he did say that Nick Fuentes is not
- 31:02allowed at Turning Point events. This video right here though
- 31:08this I actually kind of liked a bit.
- 31:09But just because Vance has something based doesn't mean
- 31:11we're like in on Vance. Like I said, there's too many
- 31:14red flags right now, but I want to say something here.
- 31:19The only thing that is truly served as an anchor of the
- 31:22United States of America is that we have been and by the grace of
- 31:26God, we always will be a Christian nation.
- 31:30Christ is king. You hear that, Fidel?
- 31:33This is a Christian nation. Ben Speer is crying in his paw.
- 31:55Now, I want to be explicit because of course the fake news
- 31:58media will twist everything that I say.
- 32:00I'm not saying do you feel about them the same way I do.
- 32:05I'm not saying you have to be a Christian to be an American.
- 32:08I'm saying something simpler and truer.
- 32:11Christianity is America's creed, the shared moral language from
- 32:15the Revolution to the Civil War and beyond.
- 32:17Across that history, our country's major debates have
- 32:20always centered on how we could best, as a people, please God.
- 32:25That greed. Think about it.
- 32:28That greed motivated our understanding of natural law and
- 32:31rights, our sense of duty to 1's neighbor, the conviction that
- 32:35the strong must protect the weak, and the belief in
- 32:38individual conscience. Even our famously American idea
- 32:42of religious liberty is a Christian concept because we're
- 32:45all creatures of God. We must respect each individual.
- 32:51This is a Christian nation. What a way to end the event.
- 32:53I mean, that was a good little speech by Vance there at the
- 32:57end. He had high praise for his
- 32:58speech there. We're going to get this last
- 33:01video up. The last video is the debate,
- 33:05the full debate between Kai and Michael Knowles and I thought it
- 33:11was a really good debate and I again Kai beat the shit out of
- 33:14him in this debate. Kai is over at Rift TV.
- 33:17Kai is one of the smartest people on social media and on
- 33:22the alt right side of things in the America first side.
- 33:26I think one of the only places me and Kai really disagree is
- 33:29he's a Mormon and I'm a Catholic.
- 33:34I'm not going to get into my feelings about Mormons and all
- 33:36that, but I think Kai is incredibly smart.
- 33:39I one of the smartest people in the movement, one of the
- 33:42smartest people, like I said, on social media, and I think he
- 33:45dominated this conversation versus Michael Knowles and a
- 33:48hell of a crossover to have with Michael Knowles and with Kai.
- 33:53So we're going to go right into that.
- 33:55Let me get it pulled up here. There we go.
- 33:57OK, let's get right into the video.
- 33:59I thought this was one of the best debates I saw from the
- 34:02entire event. I watched a few different ones
- 34:05and I thought this was one of the most interesting by far.
- 34:07They talk about the civil war that is happening on the right
- 34:10and Israel, United States relations a lot.
- 34:14So let's get right into the video.
- 34:19You think Trump is a schmuck? He was born in Texas.
- 34:21Why was it that he flew over to Israel and was told that he was
- 34:23at home? Can the United States act
- 34:25morally and justly in the world while defending Israel?
- 34:29Now. If your tactics were, to be
- 34:32blunt, a little less douchey at times.
- 34:34I mean, I completely disagree, no?
- 34:35No, no, no, no. Do not pinch me, bro.
- 34:37We have the host of the Steve Days show.
- 34:39That would be my friend. Steve Days when?
- 34:41You look at the facts on the ground and they don't support
- 34:43the narrative. We're literally giving the.
- 34:45We're literally signing the greatest also.
- 34:48To my left, do you know him from Jubilee?
- 34:50And that would be Kai Schwimmer. An existing law which had banned
- 34:52premarital. Sex Welcome everyone to a very
- 34:58special edition of Bar Fight. We are here at Amfest filled
- 35:01with many of the most energetic, patriotic, good looking
- 35:04conservatives in the entire country.
- 35:06This is the show where I, Michael Knowles, go head to head
- 35:08with two esteemed combatants on topics chosen by you until this
- 35:12episode. Because usually I would be
- 35:14debating 2 liberals on all of these topics, but with Ampfeston
- 35:17there is not a single liberal within.
- 35:18Why does this shit happen? Why does it fucking freeze?
- 35:21All right, give me one moment. Let's get this shit fixed.
- 35:24What the fuck? Like this shit's so fucking
- 35:26annoying. It does this all the time.
- 35:30It really does this shit way too fucking often.
- 35:32All right, And we'll skip right back to where we work.
- 35:35Does not incentivize risk. It's like the debate didn't
- 35:38really start yet. All right, getting it pulled up
- 35:47here, it's turning the captions off and we're back.
- 35:56What a crazy freeze for him. Until this episode, because
- 36:00usually I would be debating 2 liberals on all of these topics.
- 36:03But with Amfest on, there is not a single liberal within 150
- 36:06miles of Phoenix. And yet there is probably more
- 36:09debating going on at Amp Fest this year than at any other
- 36:12event in the country, left, right or center.
- 36:13Because the American right finds itself in the midst of a civil
- 36:16war, a battle for the future of the conservative movement, a
- 36:19battle between the old right and the new right, the boomers and
- 36:22the zoomers and the. Sorry.
- 36:24Millennials and Gen. X debates over foreign policy,
- 36:27economic policy, migration, everything in the middle.
- 36:30To my left, we have the host of the Steve Days show, author of a
- 36:34nefarious plot and a Gen. X conservative par excellence.
- 36:37I already gave away his name. That would be my friend Steve
- 36:39Days. Thank you brother.
- 36:41Good to see you. Also to my left.
- 36:44You know him from Jubilee. A man young enough to be my son.
- 36:48If I had a child at 13, that would be Kai Schwimmer.
- 36:52W Kai. Here is how it works.
- 36:54We will be debating three of the most controversial topics
- 36:57tearing up the right right now. Israel, immigration and
- 37:00economics. The bell rings.
- 37:02We Duke it out for that round. Then our friends in the crowd
- 37:04can come up to the microphones to pick a fight with any of us.
- 37:07But do not wait, because there is a time limit for each round.
- 37:10Gentlemen, Are you ready? Ready.
- 37:12Let's get started. OK, round one.
- 37:17OK, round one, our first topic. The claim is America should
- 37:23support the state of Israel. Steve, you want to take it?
- 37:27100% America should support the state of Israel.
- 37:29And I'm not going to give you any boomer era evangelical
- 37:31slogans. I'm not going to take Genesis 12
- 37:33three completely out of historical Christian context to
- 37:36impeach John Nelson Darby in the dispensation list of the 1860s.
- 37:39I'm just going to look at history, Mike.
- 37:41I mean, for 1300 years, we had no nation of Israel, but we had
- 37:44Islam. This idea that that that our
- 37:46relationship with Israel is inciting Islam is an ignorant
- 37:49view of history because for the 1300 years we had Islam and no
- 37:52Israel, Islam just came after Christendom instead.
- 37:54If anything, the nation of Israel is a deflector shield.
- 37:56It's acting as a cudgel. It's redirecting some of the
- 37:59Islamic energy that historically has been targeted at the Western
- 38:01Christendom, and it's targeted at them as well.
- 38:03And then I'll add one more point.
- 38:05What would Trump's negotiating leverage be with countries like
- 38:07Saudi Arabia to get them to the table if there were no Jewish
- 38:09state to threaten them with? If there were no Jewish state to
- 38:11say, you know what, if you guys don't want to come to the table,
- 38:13I guess we'll give Israel all the weapons we haven't given yet
- 38:15just to make the fight even it gives Trump a crucial bargaining
- 38:18trip, trip to make some of the deals in the Middle East that
- 38:20you have seen. And so I think the case is
- 38:22closed now. It's not an absolute.
- 38:23We put our own interests first. But I think it's the case is
- 38:26closed before we even talk about the Bible or eschatology.
- 38:29I, I mean, I completely disagree.
- 38:30I think, look, we have this unconditional support that we
- 38:33are providing Israel. And I don't think that they are,
- 38:35you know, one of our vassals and we're being able to, you know,
- 38:37use them as this, this force for our geopolitical aims.
- 38:40What I see is that Israel's consistently undermining even
- 38:42the efforts of President Trump to establish peace in the region
- 38:44so much that when you have the vice president, the man 1
- 38:46heartbeat away from the presidency in Israel, there's a
- 38:49vote held regarding something that President Trump has already
- 38:52said is absolutely off the table, the annotation of the
- 38:54West Bank. That is absolutely undermining
- 38:56the United States authority, what the stated position of the
- 38:58president is. And I also think that Israel
- 38:59knows they can use US support, which has been largely
- 39:01unconditional, in order to involve us in foreign conflicts
- 39:03where we don't have to be. Look at the Iran conflict.
- 39:05Israel knows they were not going to be able to destroy nuclear
- 39:07enrichment sites in Iran if it were not for the help of the
- 39:09United States. Exactly.
- 39:11And they abused their relationship with the United.
- 39:13States they knew when they attacked Iran they because again
- 39:16they attacked Iran first. They knew when they attacked
- 39:18Iran that they could never destroy the facilities under
- 39:23Fordeau Natanzi stuff deep underground.
- 39:26They would need the United States bunker Buster bombs.
- 39:28Only the United States had the ability to get there.
- 39:32So they did it knowing that Big Brother USA would back them up
- 39:35no matter what. It's to draw us in and you know,
- 39:38God bless I I hope that that conflict does not endure any
- 39:40longer. I hope it is not started back
- 39:41up. But I think that is a sleeping
- 39:42giant. And I think Israel's counting on
- 39:44our involvement because they see our relationship with them as
- 39:46unconditional. I think that the events of what
- 39:49actually transpired in June, with all due respect, contradict
- 39:51everything that he just said. We actually saw Arab states fly
- 39:55drones to shoot down Iranian missiles aimed at Israel in the
- 39:57aftermath of that event. I can understand why there were
- 40:00concerns going in. I mean, I, I discussed with
- 40:02Charlie privately his concern of this war spilling over into a
- 40:05multi regional conflict. But now we have proof of
- 40:07concept. You know that you mentioned the
- 40:08vice president, he said something interesting if he says
- 40:10a lot of things interesting. But one thing that kind of
- 40:12percolated to me, especially since Tucker Carlson's one of
- 40:14his best friends, is when he said, you know, where a lot of
- 40:15people who claimed prior to what the president did to Iran that
- 40:18it was going to have a spillover in the region and none.
- 40:20That happened and you would think maybe those people would
- 40:22go back and reevaluate how they were wrong and instead they just
- 40:24continue with their own narrative.
- 40:26Instead, what we saw for that to be true means that you think
- 40:28Trump, to borrow a Jewish term, is a schmuck.
- 40:30That means that you think that that Israel is pimping Trump and
- 40:33the tail wags the dog. Reality is, if Israel had done
- 40:36that event again, done the operation against Iran that it
- 40:38did and it sucked, you know what Trump would have said?
- 40:40I'm not wasting any of my political capital on that.
- 40:42You're on your own. But because the OP that they did
- 40:44was was precise and devastating. He was willing to do what he
- 40:47said, which was essentially provide the winning blow.
- 40:49And notice we are arguing doing way more about this than the
- 40:52Arab world is. Have you noticed this, Michael?
- 40:54The American right is arguing, has way more consternation about
- 40:56Gaza than what they do in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan.
- 41:00Why is that? And it makes you kind of think
- 41:02that maybe there's another agenda.
- 41:03At work here, when you look at the facts on the ground and they
- 41:06don't support the narrative. Steve, I think if if I could
- 41:08tell you exactly why we're talking about this so much, it's
- 41:09because our unconditional support for Israel is
- 41:11undermining our position as a moral and just actor on the
- 41:13world stage when we are literally giving, we're
- 41:16literally citing the greatest. Not only is Kai about to
- 41:20dismantle, to him intellectually, Kai is just
- 41:22mogging on this stage. The least agreements we ever
- 41:26have. Ever.
- 41:26This is a very. Important point.
- 41:27And I noticed it's a shift. So right out the gate, Steve,
- 41:30you knock down what I think is the caricature argument of the
- 41:33pro Israel side and the weakest argument, namely, you know, the
- 41:35Bible tells us we need to be slaves to the nation state of
- 41:37Israel and you know, it's our religious duty or whatever.
- 41:40And you say put that aside. I'm only speaking in nuts and
- 41:41bolts American interests and made a good argument.
- 41:43Now you made your side of that argument, but now you're
- 41:46shifting it again into a moral question.
- 41:49Can the United States act moral? Morally and justly in the world
- 41:52while defending Israel. Well, go ahead.
- 41:54I think then then rather than shift, I'd actually like to
- 41:56stick to what you were saying. I think that absolutely the
- 41:58United States does things that are not in the United States
- 42:00interest but are actually more so an extension of what the
- 42:02policy that Zionists in the United States and also the state
- 42:05of Israel would would encourage. And that is anti-Semitism while
- 42:07it's cracking down on hate speech and even making illegal
- 42:09the burning of a flag. What flag was that?
- 42:11It was the Israeli flag even prior to the illegality through
- 42:14executive order passed by President Trump of the burning
- 42:16of the American flag. Why do we have that idea in our
- 42:19politics that it is OK to pass, pass laws only first if they are
- 42:22in defense of a foreign nation? And to the point, by the way,
- 42:25that we're assembled around this war in the right wing, here's
- 42:27the question. There is a conflict in the right
- 42:29wing concerning support for Israel.
- 42:30We have one side that is saying I will not support the right
- 42:32wing if it continues this posture with the relationship to
- 42:34a foreign nation. Now, I see those people as
- 42:36people who want to prioritize American interests.
- 42:38But you have a second party that says that I will retreat from
- 42:40the Republican Party. I will even demolish it if it
- 42:42stops supporting a foreign nation.
- 42:43Now, which one of those two voices do you think is more
- 42:45concerned with what's best? For America, that's.
- 42:46Going to break the coalition for a foreign country's best
- 42:48interest or the one that's trying to preserve this
- 42:50country's best interest? I've never advocated for any
- 42:52form of anti-Semitism laws. In fact, when this was proposed
- 42:54on a federal level, passing federal level early last year in
- 42:57response to what the left was doing on college campuses, the
- 42:59way I read the bill, you could actually say the New Testament
- 43:02is is anti-Semitic. And I remember the anti
- 43:04defamation league tried to stop Mel Gibson's the passion from
- 43:06being released because it was a faith for the adaptation of the
- 43:08gospel according to the the the Gospel of Matthew.
- 43:11When I'm advocating is for American interests.
- 43:13And again, I think. Doesn't sound like.
- 43:15It when guys like you have this position, just be honest.
- 43:17You think Trump is a schmuck. So you guys don't want to say
- 43:19that because the minute you criticize Trump, all the ratios
- 43:22go down? All the guy is go.
- 43:23Down. But Trump is the one doing these
- 43:25doing this stuff. You're saying that Trump is
- 43:26essentially getting pimped out by Israel.
- 43:28And so you're you're, you're bypassing Trump to blame Israel.
- 43:31But really, Trump is the command in chief in the White House.
- 43:33So he's the one making the policies that you claim to
- 43:35disagree. With unless you.
- 43:36Think that he's the John and they're the pimp.
- 43:39You get to respond. I appreciate that.
- 43:40Well, I think you're a little bit right.
- 43:41I think we do look like schmucks when we allow spies who are Navy
- 43:44intelligence agents in the United States, like Jonathan
- 43:46Pollard, to meet with the foreign ambassador to Israel.
- 43:48And then when we have Carolyn Levitt say that the president
- 43:50stands with his foreign ambassador.
- 43:52I think we do look like schmucks to let a spy who is selling
- 43:54secrets to a foreign government come onto our soil.
- 43:56He was born in Texas. Why was it that he flew over to
- 43:58Israel and was told that he was at home?
- 44:00I. Think that does sound like there
- 44:01are foreign interest that come for our own here in America?
- 44:03OK, now we open it up to questions more.
- 44:05Comments and concerns. I have all of them.
- 44:08All right, if, if Christianity is going to outlive this moment
- 44:11right now where there is like a surge of interest in
- 44:13Christianity, is the future Roman Catholic or is it
- 44:15Protestant and what? About Mormons.
- 44:16Hold on, Hold on. That's not Christianity at all.
- 44:19I don't know. Not the same team, different
- 44:21team. OK, but is there more that
- 44:23Protestants need to steal from Catholics, or more that the
- 44:26Catholics need to go back and relearn from the Reformation?
- 44:29Well, yeah, he's got to come over to the Catholic side.
- 44:31That's what's got to happen. Listen, I love the Reformation
- 44:34because it gave us the Counter Reformation.
- 44:36So I I do have an answer to this, and it's not my own.
- 44:39It comes from Alexi de Tocqueville, who as far as I'm
- 44:41concerned, is the greatest analyst ever of American
- 44:43democracy, wrote Democracy in America.
- 44:46And in a little quoted but important observation in Volume
- 44:482 of Democracy in America, Tocqueville makes this shocking
- 44:51prediction. He says, yeah, America is a
- 44:53Protestant country. It looks like it, but over time
- 44:55it's going to go one of two ways.
- 44:57It's going to go atheist or it's going to go Catholic, both of
- 44:59which would have seemed seemed absurd at the time.
- 45:01And his argument was that America is a democracy and in
- 45:04democracies people hate authority.
- 45:05So they want to get rid of religion.
- 45:07But if they're going to keep religion, they want it to be a
- 45:09uniform religion, a universal religion that applies equally to
- 45:12all. And there the answer would be
- 45:14the Catholic Church. So we predicted a bunch of
- 45:15Catholics in America. And I might have called him
- 45:17crazy even 15 years ago. I'm seeing a lot of people swim
- 45:20the Tiber is all I'm saying. That's all I'm saying,
- 45:22gentlemen. I think America needs to be a
- 45:25biblical nation. I think that ultimately the word
- 45:28of God is the rock upon which Western civilization was built.
- 45:31And, and, and I think that what you're seeing right now, and I
- 45:34think this started with Charlie. I think this is confirmed by
- 45:36Charlie's memorial. What you saw was the Holy Spirit
- 45:38bypass the ecclesiastical structure.
- 45:40It essentially gave up corporately on much of the
- 45:42church that had become weak, flaccid, watered down guys in
- 45:45perpetual Hawaiian shirts and skinny jeans and sweater vests.
- 45:48And we're not interested in combating the spirit of the age
- 45:50claiming to be seeker friendly. It's funny how all the seekers
- 45:52were always in these really posh suburbs where everybody makes
- 45:54hundreds of thousands of dollars and can write all kinds of tie
- 45:56checks. You know who was really seeker
- 45:58friendly? Charlie was Charlie went where
- 46:00the actual seekers were. And what Charlie proved
- 46:02ultimately is that the word does not return void.
- 46:04And I think ultimately it is the word of God that is perfect.
- 46:07It's the only perfect thing on the earth.
- 46:08It is the Word of God that remains.
- 46:09Movements come and fall, sex come and fall.
- 46:12You see theological fads come and go.
- 46:14The word of God is the constant. And I think ultimately your
- 46:16culture is either built on the word of Christ or chaos.
- 46:19Well, if I could add, you know I'm.
- 46:21I'm in for the LDS side here. I was going to say, yeah, the
- 46:23Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I think is a very
- 46:25big underdog in this fight if you want to talk.
- 46:27About now, we agree. If you want to talk about
- 46:29religions in America, there's no more American religion than the
- 46:31Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
- 46:33But that being said, we have record growth and membership in
- 46:35the last year around the world. We absolutely have the important
- 46:37aspects of Apostolic succession hierarchy in the church, but we
- 46:40also have shots fired availability of the of the
- 46:42Protestants in the in the country.
- 46:43So I think the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with
- 46:45its bold claim that God still speaks to us, that revelation is
- 46:48still being received for the church through a prophet through
- 46:5012 apostles, the same structure that existed in the primitive
- 46:53church. I think that's something that
- 46:53that may actually save this country from its amise a little
- 46:56bit down the road. And we're also the number one,
- 46:58most church going state or province, however you want to
- 47:00call it, in the entire Western world, Utah.
- 47:02So I think that's means for itself if we're talking about
- 47:04fruit. It is a very American religion.
- 47:07There's no. And that is at least absolutely
- 47:08true. OK.
- 47:09All right, as your resident Reformed Baptist representing in
- 47:12an abortion abolitionist, I would like to ask you guys.
- 47:14First of all, I hold the controversial view that it
- 47:16should be illegal for everyone to murder anyone.
- 47:18Crazy right? So my question would be well
- 47:21before I ask the question, after 50 years of an overturning Roe
- 47:25and the Dobbs decision, we continue to see abortion number
- 47:27skyrocket through the means of male appeal in in all 50 states.
- 47:31Is perfectly legal for mothers to to self manage abortions
- 47:34right? So the question is, should
- 47:36preborn children have equal protection under the law from
- 47:38all who would intentionally conspire to terminate their
- 47:40life, or should we give provisions to mothers to have
- 47:42freedom to execute their children?
- 47:45100% preborn children should have every last going back to
- 47:48the Fifth Amendment. The 14th amendment has its
- 47:50predicate that language. No person shall be denied life,
- 47:53liberty or property without due process of law.
- 47:55I mean, I was I was one of The Pioneers of the personhood
- 47:57movement a decade ago. So 100% I believe in the
- 48:00personhood of the unborn child. I do think you're making the
- 48:02these are kind of your classic abolitionist talking points.
- 48:05I'll say that you guys are going to win the argument because the
- 48:07mainstream pro-life movement is rudderless in lacks direction
- 48:09and had no post rogue plan. So you're going to win because
- 48:12you guys actually have a vision to victory.
- 48:13The challenge that you guys are going to have is what kind of
- 48:16collateral damage are you going to cause on your way to your
- 48:18victory? Because you guys, and I say this
- 48:20man as a pugilist, OK, but you guys take some of the most
- 48:23counter intuitive, confrontational tactics I've
- 48:25ever seen, right? And, and the, and you, and you
- 48:27end up, and I've said this to some of your national leaders,
- 48:30you push away people who would be with you because you give
- 48:32them, you make them think that everything they did for the last
- 48:3540 years was a sin against Christ.
- 48:36So I appreciate that. Can we can we address 100%?
- 48:38I don't know those guys. So, so, so on the point, it
- 48:41sounds like we're wearing you down.
- 48:42You're you're coming around to. Our No, when I listen, I had
- 48:44your position before you did What I'm, what I'm saying is you
- 48:47would have won probably by now if your tactics were to be
- 48:50blunt, a little less douchey at times, to be blunt.
- 48:52And because you're right, your argument is correct.
- 48:55The stuff, you know, kind of the, the color revolution
- 48:57tactics of standing outside people's offices and screaming
- 48:59and yelling at them and all that stuff.
- 49:00I see. I can just tell you because I
- 49:01get emails from the very legislators that are legislators
- 49:04that you're trying to reach and and you give them an excuse to
- 49:07be cowards with that kind of behavior where if you confronted
- 49:09them on an intellectual basis, their complete arguments would
- 49:12collapse because they lack any moral clarity at.
- 49:13All I agree with the feedback and and garner your support.
- 49:16How about from the LDS and the Catholic?
- 49:18Well, I, I actually agree very much so with, with what Steve
- 49:20said, It's, it's always this issue, right, of what is the
- 49:21most politically pragmatic versus which is the most morally
- 49:23correct. And yes, you know, the
- 49:24abolitionist argument is the one that is going to be obviously
- 49:26the most consistent. And I had that own, I had, I had
- 49:28that question myself. You know, why did I at one point
- 49:30believe in exceptions for abortion in cases of rape or
- 49:32incest? It makes no sense at all.
- 49:34I will say, however, sometimes we make consistency a false God
- 49:37the same way that often we make pragmatism a false God.
- 49:39I think it is important to understand our situation and how
- 49:40that situation differs across countries, but I think that
- 49:43personally every single individual should take the
- 49:45abolitionist position. It is correct.
- 49:46It does more affirm the value of each individual human life.
- 49:50So be nicer, OK? What else?
- 49:51No. No, no, no no no no no no.
- 49:53Do not pence me bro. No, I didn't say anything about
- 49:56being nice. There's a why chasm between
- 49:58being douchey and being nice. What I'm saying is be wiser.
- 50:01I could care less about nice, but be wiser, yes?
- 50:04OK, maybe myself and in my team we've been very nice and not
- 50:07douchey, so thank. You.
- 50:08No. You've been wise.
- 50:09Thank you. Don't be nice.
- 50:10Be wise. Yes, Sir.
- 50:11I would say my politics comes down to Aristotle, basically.
- 50:14And Aristotle says the paramount political virtue is prudence.
- 50:17Not pragmatism, not utilitarianism, but prudence.
- 50:20And so of course, I want all abortion to end.
- 50:23There's no moral excuse to kill an innocent baby under any
- 50:26circumstances. However, I'm not really an all
- 50:29or nothing kind of person. I, I'm, I am willing to take an
- 50:31incremental change. I think it's a fallen world.
- 50:33I don't think we're going to see perfection the side of heaven.
- 50:35It does seem like the culture is moving a little bit more in our
- 50:37direction for a variety of reasons.
- 50:39But I would not make the arguments primarily from
- 50:42ideology, even primarily using the language of rights.
- 50:45I would use more the language of natural law.
- 50:47I would I would use the language of scripture.
- 50:48I would say it's obviously wrong.
- 50:49We can note for reason in Revelation, it's wrong to murder
- 50:51innocent people, especially to murder innocent babies.
- 50:53Thomas Aquinas would be proud. Thomas, you know I I defer.
- 50:56To you are you really are. I basically asked him what I
- 50:59should have for breakfast in the morning at Saint Thomas.
- 51:01And so anyway, because of that, I would I would follow our
- 51:05Lord's injunction to be wise as a serpent and innocent as a
- 51:07dove. And if there is a clear path to
- 51:11victory for more abolitionist arguments, I'm all for it.
- 51:14That's why libertarians are not convincing.
- 51:15They're perfectly consistent, but they don't make themselves.
- 51:17Attractive So for for context on my question, I am a practicing
- 51:21member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and
- 51:23have a son that is converting to Catholicism.
- 51:25So I really you've got. To get one Protestant and then
- 51:27you've got the whole thing, yeah.
- 51:27Maybe the other side, and I appreciate all of the insight
- 51:30and knowledge and everything that you have shared in teaching
- 51:32me about Catholicism. Thank you.
- 51:34My two sides are part of this generation.
- 51:36I'm grateful that I have raised that are extremely conservative
- 51:39and where I'm struggling right now is trying to help.
- 51:40We want to enlarge the tent and bring the coalition together.
- 51:43And yet there's so many voices out there that are so combative.
- 51:45And so I feel like hateful and hard that I'm struggling with
- 51:48trying to help them discern which voices in the movement
- 51:51that we should be listening to. And especially as we were
- 51:54talking about Israel and some of these other topics that are so
- 51:56controversial in the movement. If you have spiritual and
- 51:58political and basically because you work in the field, insight
- 52:01on how to help them. I have a little spiritual
- 52:03insight on this. I think it's great news about
- 52:05your son. You know I I'm.
- 52:07Just happy that he's happy and finding God.
- 52:09So, you know, at these moments when people are having intense
- 52:13spiritual or numinous experience, I've just seen
- 52:16anecdotally and experienced, the devil really doesn't like that.
- 52:19And the devil kind of he tries to find ways to go in and pokey
- 52:22and tilt you a little off course and kind of mess with you.
- 52:24And so one of the the occupational hazards of
- 52:27political media and politics generally is detraction and
- 52:30calumny. And something that's very
- 52:32attractive in a social media age is a railing and reviling
- 52:34spirit, which Saint Paul warns US against.
- 52:36And so these are the temptations that we really have to back away
- 52:39from. And I get it.
- 52:41I enjoy being entertained in political media.
- 52:43I gossip and railing and distraction there.
- 52:47They can be like really, really funny and I I'd be lying if I
- 52:49said I didn't watch it every so often on my timeline, but it's
- 52:52not good. It's not good for your soul.
- 52:53It's not good for the political community.
- 52:55And it's important to recognize a distinction 1 can enjoy a
- 52:58little bit of entertainment and maybe glean something from it
- 53:01while also recognizing that the incentives of the entertainers
- 53:04of the broadcasters are different from the incentives of
- 53:06the political community. And some some of them are
- 53:08cynics. Some of them are the kind of
- 53:09people who say don't even engage civically at all.
- 53:11It's all doom and gloom. Those people have a real profit
- 53:15incentive to make people despair.
- 53:18Citizens have no incentive for despair.
- 53:19And so I would say be quiet. Instruct your family to be
- 53:23quiet, to pray, to listen to the voice of God, to avail oneself
- 53:25of the sacraments, and to to be able to find the good in
- 53:28everything and to distinguish where priorities really lie.
- 53:32Can I add to that really quick? Christianity is not the endless
- 53:35asking of questions, it is the ceaseless seeking of answers.
- 53:39If if I would consume content that points you to truth and not
- 53:43modern day Gnosticism, you know the first being whoever said I'm
- 53:47just asking questions, Satan. OK, so if we're I'm all for
- 53:51asking questions. As far as I know, I'm the only
- 53:52human being on the earth that has written 2 best selling books
- 53:55debunking the scam demic. But what I didn't do is just ask
- 53:57questions. I gave answers.
- 53:58I wrote books that had more footnotes than pages.
- 54:00What are the answers? It's not about what questions we
- 54:02ask. It's about where we go for the
- 54:04truth and what the truth is. All right, so it's not about the
- 54:06endless asking of questions that creates division.
- 54:08OK, that creates a lot of the things we've seen in the last
- 54:10few months. It's about where do we go for
- 54:13the truth? Where do we go for the answers?
- 54:14It's not about the endless asking of questions, but the
- 54:16ceaseless seeking of answers. One last thing, we're in the
- 54:19Advent season. The Lord wanted to be known so
- 54:22much. Truth wanted to be known so
- 54:24much, it left paradise and put itself in the most vulnerable
- 54:26form. An unborn child, right?
- 54:29That's how the Lord of the universe grew up.
- 54:31Had to have a diaper changed, Had to be burped.
- 54:33I had to be taught how to speak, how to read, how to be taught to
- 54:35trade. Think about that.
- 54:36He slept, He sweat. He sweat with his disciples, ate
- 54:38with them, hungered with them, thirsted with them.
- 54:40The truth wants to be known. Consume content that points you
- 54:43to truth, because that's godly. The stuff that does not comes
- 54:47from another place. Yeah.
- 54:49Well, hey, thank you for being here.
- 54:50It's nice to, you know, have this, this under
- 54:52underrepresented, you know, group here, which I think is
- 54:54actually a very large part of the conservative movement.
- 54:56You're you're. I work.
- 54:57At the blaze it's a very large part of.
- 54:58Them that's true. That's true.
- 54:59We're at the top. We're collected at the top.
- 55:01No, but I, I know that your son certainly has has heard that we
- 55:04believe in being honest, true, chase, benevolent, virtuous, and
- 55:06in doing good to all man. So I believe this is from one of
- 55:09the 13 articles of faith that the Church of Jesus Christ of
- 55:11Latter Day Saints has. I, I came to experience that
- 55:13question very importantly in my own life because I was very much
- 55:15actually brought to take my faith more seriously by some of
- 55:17the louder voices, which were even at times a little bit more
- 55:19riotous or maybe even a little bit a little bit meaner.
- 55:22It motivated me to take my faith more seriously because it was
- 55:24something that I was participating in more so
- 55:25culturally than spiritually and with my whole soul.
- 55:27That being said, I think you have to realize and, and
- 55:30everybody must make the decision to either let their politics be
- 55:33inspired by their faith or let their faith or let their
- 55:36politics, you know, go the other way around and start dictating,
- 55:39you know, the way they ought to live their lives as Latter Day
- 55:42Saints or as other religious people.
- 55:43It is not, you know, a virtue to be based necessarily.
- 55:46Obviously there's some base things which are good and
- 55:48aligned with gospel values, but we're not going to score
- 55:50Browning points in heaven because we told leftists to kill
- 55:52themselves. And I, I would do these Omegle
- 55:54streams talking to strangers on the Internet.
- 55:55And I quickly realized it's a weird anecdote, but I everybody
- 55:58you know does that. They call them slurs, they call
- 56:00them whatever, and I. We're not going to get brownie
- 56:02points in heaven telling leftists to kill themselves
- 56:05Might be the quote of the dead quote of the year.
- 56:08I mean, that's, that's crazy. That's so funny.
- 56:13Very quickly realized that it is so much more rewarding and Even
- 56:17so much more inspiring to try and extend kindness to people,
- 56:20especially your enemies who Christ told us to pray for.
- 56:22So I would say to your sons that that's the ultimate question,
- 56:24right? Is which is coming first?
- 56:26Is your politics, you know, coming before your faith?
- 56:27Are your politics coming before your faith, or is your faith
- 56:29dictating your politics? It's not a virtue to be based.
- 56:31I like that line. That's a very thoughtful.
- 56:32What are you based in? What are you based in?
- 56:34What are you based on? OK, that's the end of round one.
- 56:36Back to Israel, back to the subject that we just talked
- 56:38about. I also saw another video and
- 56:40then we'll put press play here, but another video of Kai over
- 56:43the weekend, which I thought was awesome and a hell of a quote as
- 56:47well. Where he goes.
- 56:48It's not enough to be based. You also have to be Christ like,
- 56:52which is extremely similar to what they're what they're saying
- 56:54there. But I thought it was awesome.
- 56:55And then again, another crazy freeze frame on Michael Moles.
- 56:59A poll of the audience who won the debate over America's
- 57:02support of Israel. Was it high?
- 57:08Was it Steve who won? I actually, I can't tell Mister
- 57:14Davies who's guy. OK, All right.
- 57:17I thought Steve made good points.
- 57:18OK, let's go you. Might want to check out Z
- 57:20biotics.com/barfight. No, no, no, no, no.
- 57:24I don't get paid for that. We're skipping your shitty ad.
- 57:27I don't get paid for that. Guys.
- 57:31Don't buy, Don't buy it. For round two OK our next topic,
- 57:38a major point of debate between the old guard and the new guard,
- 57:41the boomers and the zoomers big government doesn't always suck
- 57:46subheader the economy needs a political fix I'll.
- 57:50Let you go first this. Time go ahead.
- 57:52Yeah, I mean, I, I completely agree, just as a matter of
- 57:54principle, right? Big government obviously does
- 57:56not always suck. And to get to, you know, the
- 57:58political prudence of it, if you believe big government sucks,
- 58:01you're not going to convince all the people who think that it
- 58:03doesn't and are willing to use the force of the state to impose
- 58:05their will on you. I will say that we've gotten to
- 58:07a point in this country where the pole yourself up by your
- 58:09bootstraps excuse simply does not work for my generation.
- 58:12There's a 1000 square foot house where I live in Salt Lake City,
- 58:15UT that is worth $500,000. This is a huge problem.
- 58:18We're at a point in this country now as well where all of the
- 58:20people who have been told, well, you know, you got to just get
- 58:22into, you know, one of these, one of these white collar jobs,
- 58:24because you won't be replaced. They're going to be replaced by
- 58:26AI. There has to exist some kind of
- 58:28structure. And frankly, I believe there
- 58:29there is some role of the state in creating that structure,
- 58:31which is going to protect the students who are now going to
- 58:34college. And one of the things that I
- 58:35actually support, and this will be much the chagrin of many
- 58:37here, is a reformation of how we do welfare.
- 58:39Welfare obviously in this country is not working, but I
- 58:41think that you can apply market principles to get it to work
- 58:43better. And Milton Friedman proposed
- 58:45something that is similar, and this is the negative income tax.
- 58:47In practice, however, the negative income tax does not
- 58:49actually incentivize business creation.
- 58:50It does not incentivize risk taking, family growth, a
- 58:52universal basic income, as much as it may be to the chagrin of
- 58:55many conservatives who are told that that is socialism and you
- 58:57can never do anything that even approaches that word.
- 59:00It actually is going to allow mothers to stay in the home with
- 59:02their children, allow college students to devote more time to
- 59:05their studies, and is going to incentivize the production of
- 59:07businesses and spur, you know, the growth of employment in
- 59:10certain sectors of the economy that are likely underrepresented
- 59:12right now. So I think that we have to
- 59:13absolutely depart from this idea that big government always
- 59:16sucks. It can absolutely be used as a
- 59:17tool for good the same way that a gun can be used for good or
- 59:19evil. We're not arguing to get rid of
- 59:21the gun. I don't.
- 59:22Disagree with the first half of his answer and, and a lot of
- 59:25times big government is defined by is government doing what you
- 59:28want it to do or not is often how it is defined right, but the
- 59:32solution is where this is going to break down.
- 59:33The reality is doing universal basic income is just boomerism
- 59:37on steroids. It's essentially the New Deal,
- 59:40the welfare state, 90 days, same as cash, six months, no
- 59:42interest, all the same stuff your parents and grandparents
- 59:44did to bankrupt you all. We're just going to go ahead and
- 59:46put it on steroids. I mean, ultimately you have to
- 59:49have an here's what stipulated your economic theorem must in
- 59:53practicum line up with human nature.
- 59:55You just have to that's the we cannot.
- 59:56That's the we have to deal. You said this is a fallen world.
- 59:58We have to deal with the realities of human nature.
- 1:00:00The first people who ever really found in America were the
- 1:00:02Puritans. And when they landed here, they
- 1:00:04read Acts 2 and they thought, well, they shared everything in
- 1:00:06common. We should do the exact same
- 1:00:07thing. I mean, who?
- 1:00:08Who's going to be more likely than the Sola Scriptura Puritans
- 1:00:11to who believe they were elected before the foundations of the
- 1:00:14world all right for salvation by grace alone, lest any man would
- 1:00:17boast. If there was ever a people who
- 1:00:19out of just pure altruism would do production and would and
- 1:00:22would create a society just out of altruistic means, it would
- 1:00:24certainly be these people, correct?
- 1:00:25Well, what happened is because I wrote a best selling book on
- 1:00:28this subject, I know it very well.
- 1:00:29What ended up happening is in the first two years, half of
- 1:00:31them. Stop promoting your book.
- 1:00:34Half of them died starvation. The young men did not want to
- 1:00:36work for the old men who couldn't work anymore, the young
- 1:00:38wives. And then they got bitter that
- 1:00:39their wives are not sending to them, but to the old men in
- 1:00:41their homes. And they turned on each other.
- 1:00:42And then this guy, John Winthrop, he did this thing
- 1:00:44where he read this parable of the talents and he said, oh,
- 1:00:47wow. I mean, so actually if we, if we
- 1:00:48demand multiplication and excellence, if we incentivize
- 1:00:51excellence, we're going to get more of something.
- 1:00:52So they changed their economic theory.
- 1:00:54They landed, they gave the plots of land based on the size of the
- 1:00:57clan, like the 12 tribes of Israel.
- 1:00:58And then if you wanted more than that, whoever produced the
- 1:01:01highest yield of harvest for the next fall was given more land.
- 1:01:04To whom much is given, much is required, right?
- 1:01:06And So what ended up happening was the birth of capitalism and
- 1:01:08the birth of what we know as America.
- 1:01:09Now, the problem we have with capitalism today is it looks a
- 1:01:12lot like what Chesterton once said about Christianity.
- 1:01:14Rarely witnessed and almost never tried.
- 1:01:15Much of what's been done for the last generation is corporate
- 1:01:18whoring masquerading as capitalism.
- 1:01:20And so now we're in this position, and I say this to my,
- 1:01:22my conventional, traditional conservatives, the, the folks
- 1:01:25like me who graduated from the Limbaugh Institute of, of
- 1:01:28advanced Conservative Studies and have our official diploma
- 1:01:30from the Milton Friedman Economic Institute.
- 1:01:32We have to live in reality. Government has screwed this
- 1:01:35culture economically. It had and, and much of our
- 1:01:38previous Republic, which you said earlier about making sure
- 1:01:40our faith is the basis for our politics, not the other way
- 1:01:42around. We lied to this generation and
- 1:01:44said that what we were doing was too big to fail.
- 1:01:46And when George W Bush said I have to suspend free market
- 1:01:48principles to save the free market, we lied to this
- 1:01:51generation and told them because we had to, we got to beat the
- 1:01:53Democrats, don't you know? And so we lied and we told them
- 1:01:55that that was capitalism. And now that they're of age,
- 1:01:57they cannot afford a home. We have the hard highest median
- 1:01:59age of new home buyers ever at 41.
- 1:02:01You have all the right laments, all the right complaints.
- 1:02:03I even agree. It's going to take government to
- 1:02:05some degree to undo the mess it made, starting with mass
- 1:02:08deportations and immigration moratorium and a closed border.
- 1:02:11Get rid of everybody the Biden regime allowed into the country
- 1:02:13in the last five years. That would bring literally the
- 1:02:15cost of everything down strictly from a supply and demand
- 1:02:17standpoint. But I promise you, if we go down
- 1:02:19the road of things like Ubi, you're going to end up and so
- 1:02:22this, this reminds me of the debate I had with the Occupy
- 1:02:24Wall Street guy in, in Wichita, KS 10 years ago.
- 1:02:27And he said many of the same things.
- 1:02:28And, and, and when he was laying all these complaints at what the
- 1:02:30Republican Party has falsely smeared his capitalism when it
- 1:02:33was really corporatism and whoring, I just kept agreeing
- 1:02:35and agreeing and agreeing. And it blew his mind.
- 1:02:36And so he's like, when are we going to disagree?
- 1:02:38I said probably when we get to the solutions and so all the
- 1:02:40preamble and the first act of everything you said brother
- 1:02:43chapter and verse, we are singing from the same hymnal.
- 1:02:44All right. But when we get to solutions, I
- 1:02:46promise you just deciding you know what the boomers did just
- 1:02:48the tip. So let's go for the full
- 1:02:50conception. I promise you it will reverb on
- 1:02:52you badly. Why?
- 1:02:53Because you're going against human nature.
- 1:02:55We have to incentivize excellence.
- 1:02:57The answer to undo what was done in the previous generation is
- 1:02:59not a bigger welfare state or one that redistributes the
- 1:03:02wealth in my favor. I promise you it won't work.
- 1:03:04It goes against the created order.
- 1:03:05It goes against what the creator intended.
- 1:03:07He's embedded in his creation. We're in this position because
- 1:03:09was we violated the created order, we just did it for
- 1:03:12corporations. All right, We actually have to.
- 1:03:14We have to align our economics with human nature and the
- 1:03:16created order. OK, So the debate I guess sort
- 1:03:19of became capitalism based or cringe.
- 1:03:21And so you agree on the premises Steve, Your point is?
- 1:03:24Mass migration has just finish the laying out so you can all
- 1:03:28decide who you want to vote for. Mass migration has caused
- 1:03:32rentals to go up. 2/3 has caused food prices to go up.
- 1:03:35Welfare has caused food prices to go way.
- 1:03:36Way, I'm sorry about just the tip.
- 1:03:38We're at a bar, but I thought it was OK.
- 1:03:39Sorry about that. And then Kai, your point is?
- 1:03:42So Steve, your argument is, yeah, right now the economy is
- 1:03:44rough. We need more capitalism.
- 1:03:46Kai, your answer is no. We need to.
- 1:03:47We need to put more guardrails on capitalism in the solution.
- 1:03:49I would like to try capitalism. I'd like to try it.
- 1:03:51And Kai's is, yeah, sure, mass deportations are great, but we
- 1:03:54also need a further political solution to condition
- 1:03:56capitalism. Give me Ubi.
- 1:03:58OK. Keep that in mind for when you
- 1:03:59cheer later. Now we turn to the microphone.
- 1:04:00Yes, Sir. So sorry to kind of redirect a
- 1:04:03little bit. I know it's not quite on topic.
- 1:04:05As a ginger myself, a lot of my generation is going very
- 1:04:08libertarian. I don't like that.
- 1:04:10Also as a Bible believing dirty Protestant, I believe
- 1:04:13definitionally marriage is between a man and woman for the
- 1:04:16procreation and ring of children.
- 1:04:17I think we can mostly agree with that.
- 1:04:18My follow up question to that is, is it worth the political
- 1:04:22capital to reinstate the definition of marriage in the
- 1:04:24United States as between a man and a woman?
- 1:04:25Or do we continue to allow to be pragmatic and to allow people to
- 1:04:29be married between two men and two women?
- 1:04:32Or is it worth the political capital to try to go against
- 1:04:34that? Yeah, I, I don't think it's
- 1:04:35going to cost political capital within 5 to 10 years.
- 1:04:38I agree completely. You've already seen support for
- 1:04:39so-called same sex marriage collapse.
- 1:04:41It's now down to 53% and it's in freefall.
- 1:04:43The reason for that is that the sexual revolution.
- 1:04:46I think that is true. I think they'll overturn it as
- 1:04:49well in the next 15 years. Was taken to his extreme in
- 1:04:53transgenderism and trans ING the kids so as the logic from
- 1:04:55feminine. I remember saying that.
- 1:04:57I remember having an argument with I have Conservative and
- 1:05:01Liberal grandparents and I remember having the argument
- 1:05:04with my more liberal grandparents and this was right
- 1:05:08when they made gay marriage legal.
- 1:05:10And I remember saying it's going to be a slippery slope to the
- 1:05:13point where people are changing their genders and like, all this
- 1:05:17other stuff is going to be happening.
- 1:05:18And they were like, that's fake, that's not real.
- 1:05:22Is it real? Now?
- 1:05:25I'm not trying to shit talk my grandpa, but like, come on, it's
- 1:05:28real. It's real.
- 1:05:29It was a slippery slope. Anism through gay rights to gay
- 1:05:32marriage to trans, as it all went that direction, we realized
- 1:05:35it was totally nuts. So too, those premises are being
- 1:05:37unrolled in the other direction. So I don't think it's going to
- 1:05:39cost a lot of capital. And and furthermore, I think you
- 1:05:41will have to get back to the same definition of marriage to
- 1:05:43protect children, to protect the the fundamental building block
- 1:05:46of society, but also just because it's so core to human
- 1:05:50nature and our understanding of reality.
- 1:05:52I mean, you know, you can't have matrimony without Montair.
- 1:05:54You know, there's no matrimony between two fellas.
- 1:05:56So it's just so preposterous. It's it's unstable.
- 1:05:58It can't continue. Yes, one. 100% agree with that.
- 1:06:01You know, it's funny, when I was heavily involved in all the
- 1:06:03marriage fights around the country back in the day, and
- 1:06:05they always would say on the other side, we don't want any
- 1:06:06slippery slope arguments. Slippery slope arguments are
- 1:06:09undefeated, folks. Undefeated.
- 1:06:10They never lose. All right.
- 1:06:11The only thing I disagree with Robert Bork about is we do not
- 1:06:13slouch to Gomorrah. We Sprint as a species.
- 1:06:15We Sprint. We can't wait to get there.
- 1:06:17All right. Every exit it says Gomorrah.
- 1:06:18And we're like pedal to the metal, right?
- 1:06:19And So what you're seeing now is all of the excesses people like
- 1:06:22Michael and I argued about when you guys were growing up and
- 1:06:24warned this is what you really mean.
- 1:06:26I remember bringing those gay, bringing gay marriage advocates
- 1:06:28on my show and saying, well, what you're really arguing is
- 1:06:30there's no such thing as gender and they lose their minds.
- 1:06:32But what's funny is now 10 years later, there's no gender is just
- 1:06:36a social construct, right? And so now all of the excesses
- 1:06:38that they said we weren't going to see how well, how does my gay
- 1:06:41marriage impact your marriage? Well, other than literally the
- 1:06:43definition of everything and who and, and what we do with
- 1:06:45children, pretty much nothing other than everything, right?
- 1:06:47And so now we're at that place and the reverb on this is a
- 1:06:49mofo, 38% of Republicans, only 38% support gay marriage now,
- 1:06:54only 58% of the general public. And it's because there was a
- 1:06:57moment there where people like Andrew Sullivan, who's kind of
- 1:06:59the Ben Franklin of the rainbow jihad.
- 1:07:01And after he got his big win, he said, you know what, guys, we
- 1:07:03have to stop right here. If you continue on with this,
- 1:07:06there's going to be pushback and they're going to, they're going
- 1:07:07to repeal. Andrew Sullivan got cancelled
- 1:07:09for saying things like that. And so like we have a group here
- 1:07:12called Gays Against Groomers. They're doing some great work in
- 1:07:14the marketplace against some of this insanity because they
- 1:07:16recognize our inability to police ourselves.
- 1:07:19There's no William F Buckley on the gay marriage side saying,
- 1:07:21well, how much of the John Birch Society should we inherit,
- 1:07:23right? They're not they, they can't do
- 1:07:24it. Why?
- 1:07:25Because the movement in and of itself is a lack of restraint
- 1:07:27and A and a decoupling from the, the created order.
- 1:07:29And so they cannot just pause. They can't just moderate.
- 1:07:32It's pedal to the metal to Gamora.
- 1:07:33And I agree with Michael, the stigma on this is on.
- 1:07:36Even our own side is almost at 0 now and I think we are way
- 1:07:39closer. I don't think it'll take 50
- 1:07:40years to repeal Dobbs at all like it did Rove.
- 1:07:42I don't. You know, just one quick
- 1:07:44correction, Steve. There was a gay William F
- 1:07:46Buckley and his name is Gore Vidal.
- 1:07:47But but there's none today. That's true, Guy.
- 1:07:49Yeah. I mean, I agree with the two
- 1:07:50gentlemen here. I think it was the
- 1:07:51libertarianism and it was frankly, you know, that the fact
- 1:07:53that we didn't realize just how serious the opposite side was.
- 1:07:56That led us to where we are now. And the problem is that with a
- 1:07:58lot of these rulings from the Supreme Court, it is a lot
- 1:08:00tougher to, you know, put the the cat back into the box or
- 1:08:03whatever the saying is the cat in the hat.
- 1:08:05And it's. Really hard to put the green
- 1:08:07eggs in their hand. It's really.
- 1:08:08Somewhere, I don't know, but I, I do think that that is a fight
- 1:08:11that you absolutely have to take.
- 1:08:13Like this definition of marriage is absolutely crucial and it
- 1:08:15does have these cultural ramifications and the
- 1:08:17perceptions that people have based off of legality.
- 1:08:19They absolutely exist. I mean, this is a total lie that
- 1:08:21we've been told that, well, you know, really we're just kind of
- 1:08:24changing the legal code. It's not going to change, you
- 1:08:26know, in reality, how people are interacting with each other or
- 1:08:27the families they're forming or how their children turn out.
- 1:08:29All of that's a lie. So I think we should fight tooth
- 1:08:31and nail. And unfortunately it's that
- 1:08:32really bad Supreme Court precedent that always under
- 1:08:34assumes what the future is going to turn into, which is always
- 1:08:36yes, Sodom and Gomorrah. And I, I think that the problem
- 1:08:39is that now you have this inability and, and frankly, a
- 1:08:41lack of willingness from even conservative Supreme Court
- 1:08:43justices to even review cases like that.
- 1:08:45I would be surprised if we get a positive result on birthright
- 1:08:47citizenship, despite the fact that the framers of the 14th
- 1:08:49Amendment very clearly did not have in mind that the child of
- 1:08:52two illegal immigrants would become an American citizen as
- 1:08:53American, as somebody who came off the Mayflower.
- 1:08:55So that is a, a huge problem of mine.
- 1:08:57OK. OK, so we're talking about
- 1:08:59repealing Obergefell definitely for that.
- 1:09:02Would you say this is my question?
- 1:09:03Would you say that our country would be better off if we had
- 1:09:07like our grandparents had? My grandparents grew up in a
- 1:09:09time where there were laws against sodomy, there were laws
- 1:09:12against cross dressing. Would our would our country be
- 1:09:14better off if we had laws against sodomy and laws against
- 1:09:17cross dressing? Today in 2025, should Christians
- 1:09:19and conservatives pursue laws against sodomy and cross
- 1:09:21dressing? Well, I just want to jump in
- 1:09:23real quick because not a lot of people know this.
- 1:09:24It was only less than a decade ago that the state of Utah, the
- 1:09:27great state of Utah, unfortunately, and made it made
- 1:09:30it made itself less great by doing so repealed an existing
- 1:09:33law which had banned premarital sex.
- 1:09:34I'm not aware of days of another state that had law, but people
- 1:09:38forget, by the way, that I believe I respect the Mormon who
- 1:09:39says I will be more puritanical than you.
- 1:09:41I respect that ally. Yes, Sir.
- 1:09:43Yes, Sir. That's an ally.
- 1:09:44Sir, now that now I'm signing up for that, that's great.
- 1:09:46I mean, right there, you bet you know that the question doesn't
- 1:09:48even need to be all that hypothetical.
- 1:09:50In as much as Lawrence V Texas was, what, 20 years?
- 1:09:52That was the gateway drug that got right.
- 1:09:53That was the I mean, there was the argument was made by the
- 1:09:55Supreme Court that there's a constitutional right to
- 1:09:57homosexual sodomy. Which, you know, if you go
- 1:09:59through The Federalist Papers, you won't find a lot of
- 1:10:01references to that. Thomas Jefferson thought sodomy
- 1:10:04in the military should be a capital offense and they were
- 1:10:06fighting the British who are sort of famous for that.
- 1:10:08So anyway, they by the way, during the Crusades, the
- 1:10:11Muslims, when they were away from their wives, they would
- 1:10:13bring their pederast boy toys with them to the war front so
- 1:10:15they could rape them and sodomize them for sexual release
- 1:10:16because they'd be at the war front for months if not years.
- 1:10:18Christians have banned sodomy throughout the entirety of
- 1:10:20Christian history whenever they had a chance to rule in any
- 1:10:22society. I'm wondering if conservatives,
- 1:10:24I think Christ less conservatism has destroyed our country.
- 1:10:27I think we need Christ filled conservatism.
- 1:10:28And that's what gets our country back.
- 1:10:30But if we do that, that means we've got to take it very.
- 1:10:31Unpopular. You know, I'll give a little bit
- 1:10:32more of a kind of nuanced take on sodomy laws, which are
- 1:10:35considered sort of extreme. But ask yourself, why were
- 1:10:37sodomy laws in principle on the books even as of 20 or so years
- 1:10:40ago? These.
- 1:10:41Sorts of laws were not typically processed.
- 1:10:43They were not even enforced. They were shut down.
- 1:10:44They were meant to be an insurance.
- 1:10:46They were insurance against this.
- 1:10:48Is the thing, you know, that really what the laws were used
- 1:10:50for were to shut down places that were very, very dangerous.
- 1:10:52And those sorts of laws been enforced in the 1980s.
- 1:10:54A lot of lives have been saved, correct?
- 1:10:55But they weren't really going door to door, you know, Iranian
- 1:10:58purity. And so I don't think anybody
- 1:10:59wants that, right. We passed marriage laws
- 1:11:01successfully in 31 states in the 90s and 2000s.
- 1:11:04How many people were in prison in any of those states for
- 1:11:06attempting to get marriage? Zero.
- 1:11:09What Michael is saying, these were done as insurance policies,
- 1:11:12pardon the pun, bulwarks. They were done as bulwarks
- 1:11:15against the very Sodom and Gomorrah and the depravity that
- 1:11:19we're seeing today. Yes.
- 1:11:20And so I think you have to understand what the point of
- 1:11:22these laws were. They were not necessarily for
- 1:11:25rounding up people for their sexual practices, but they were
- 1:11:27meant to be. They were meant to be
- 1:11:28essentially traffic cones that said you can't go past here.
- 1:11:31And that's why they removed that cone so they could go past
- 1:11:33there, right? And I think the importance of it
- 1:11:34is stigma is stigmatizing things that God hates.
- 1:11:37Standards and norms, all right, Right on it.
- 1:11:39OK, folks. I think you guys can see why I
- 1:11:42thought this was a very good debate to show it's almost over
- 1:11:45here. Actually, I don't even remember
- 1:11:46what the original topic was. Oh yeah, big government
- 1:11:48capitalism based or cringe? We need more true capitalism to
- 1:11:51fix the problem. No, we need more Ubi and more
- 1:11:53government intervention. Who thinks that?
- 1:11:55Capitalism has never been tried, not once.
- 1:11:58He's trying to put his thumb on the scale.
- 1:11:59Who thinks that Steve won? Who thinks that Kai won?
- 1:12:07There you go, Steve, with a knockout.
- 1:12:10They all sound like ties to me. OK, All right, we'll give it to
- 1:12:12Steve. OK, now.
- 1:12:14There's no time. I mean, there's no time we got
- 1:12:15to get to this. It sounded louder for Kai in my
- 1:12:18ear. Maybe I'm wrong.
- 1:12:19Now I'm. Going to tease it.
- 1:12:20I don't care. I'm going to tease the issue and
- 1:12:21then everyone can Boo you for shutting down a great topic and
- 1:12:24a way more interesting one than claim 2.
- 1:12:26The claim is we need to stop the demographic transformation of
- 1:12:30America. All right?
- 1:12:32We have total agreement. What does everyone who thinks
- 1:12:34won that battle? He said yes, and he also said
- 1:12:36yes. Wow, we won.
- 1:12:40OK, well, typically, nobody wins a bar fight, and there are only
- 1:12:42losers. We're not really in a bar.
- 1:12:44Even though they somehow found booze to give me.
- 1:12:46We're at a Convention Center. So maybe someone can win.
- 1:12:49Maybe someone can tie. It sounds like the first round
- 1:12:52went to Kai, The second round went to Steve.
- 1:12:53The third round we didn't even debate, and we all won that one.
- 1:12:56Who lost today? You're not cheering for the
- 1:12:59winner, you're cheering for the loser who lost.
- 1:13:01Was it Kai? I'm sensing a lot of Kai's
- 1:13:05support. Was it Steve?
- 1:13:09And you are. I know it was confusing a lot of
- 1:13:11people. You know, that was the cheer as
- 1:13:12they lost. Let's go.
- 1:13:14All right, I guess Steve lost. I thought Steve had a lot of
- 1:13:15good arguments. Gentlemen, thank you all for
- 1:13:17coming on the show. Thank you all for being here.
- 1:13:19And see. You get another crazy freeze
- 1:13:22every time I pause it on this fucking guy.
- 1:13:25It's it's just crazy. But that was a debate.
- 1:13:27I thought that was an interesting one that was worth
- 1:13:29showing you guys. I thought it was the one of the
- 1:13:33better debates of the entire weekend that I saw from the
- 1:13:36little breakout areas. Amfest seemed to have been a
- 1:13:39successful Turning Point. I don't necessarily stand with
- 1:13:42Turning Point, but I do like that they brought millions of
- 1:13:45young Americans back to the church.
- 1:13:47I do like that the griping of Turning Point USA is here and is
- 1:13:51happening. I do think it's only going to
- 1:13:53continue and it's going to probably become a bigger issue
- 1:13:56for them down the line and their donors specifically who
- 1:13:59definitely don't like it and Ben Shapiro as well.
- 1:14:03But yeah, with that, we're going to be signing off for our show.
- 1:14:05I'm not going to be doing a show tomorrow on Wednesday or the
- 1:14:09next day on Thursday, Christmas Eve and Christmas.
- 1:14:12I want everyone to have a beautiful Christmas with their
- 1:14:14families. I will pray for all of you guys.
- 1:14:17I will pray for all your families.
- 1:14:18I'll pray that you have a beautiful, beautiful holiday and
- 1:14:21day off with your families. If you are working on either of
- 1:14:24the days, just know I still will be praying for you and I want to
- 1:14:28thank you for your service. Not necessarily like military
- 1:14:31service unless you're doing military work, but you guys get
- 1:14:34what I mean. They, they are the to go back to
- 1:14:37get COVID term, the necessary workers.
- 1:14:40But yeah, I want to pray for everybody.
- 1:14:42If anybody is celebrating the Christmas holiday without a
- 1:14:46loved one, if they've lost a loved one, remember to take some
- 1:14:49time this holiday season too. Pray for them, think about them,
- 1:14:53share some time with your family to spread stories about them.
- 1:14:56I will pray for all of you. I'll pray for all of your
- 1:14:58families. I'll pray for all of America.
- 1:15:00Remember, this is a season for forgiveness.
- 1:15:03This is a season for love. This is a season to be kind to
- 1:15:06everybody. Don't go to Christmas trying to
- 1:15:08red pill your parents. Don't go to Christmas trying to,
- 1:15:11you know, gripe everybody. Don't go to Christmas trying to
- 1:15:14convince everyone of your views or push them in a direction
- 1:15:16they're not willing to or ready to go to.
- 1:15:19Just be there, present with your family, celebrate Jesus Christ
- 1:15:22Christ is king, celebrate that we have a beautiful country that
- 1:15:28we are in the process of fixing. Celebrate that above everything,
- 1:15:32we all are Americans. Celebrate that the return to
- 1:15:36Christianity is happening, but celebrate your family over
- 1:15:40everything else. That is what is truly important
- 1:15:42when it comes to the Christmas season.
- 1:15:44With that, I am going to sign off.
- 1:15:46I won't see you guys tomorrow or Thursday, but I will be back on
- 1:15:50most likely Friday, possibly Saturday, but most likely we're
- 1:15:53going to do something on Friday. But I am going to sign off
- 1:15:56today. I hope you guys do have a
- 1:15:57blessed day, a blessed night. I hope you guys have a Merry
- 1:16:00Christmas. I hope Santa is good to you
- 1:16:02guys. And again, Please remember to
- 1:16:04pray to Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
- 1:16:07Christ is king. This is a holiday for Christ
- 1:16:10over everything else. And if you're a Catholic, if
- 1:16:12you're a Christian, remember to attend Mass on Christmas.
- 1:16:14It's very important. And I know sometimes it's hard
- 1:16:17to get away from family, especially if your family
- 1:16:19doesn't necessarily have the same religious views as you.
- 1:16:22But remember to go to Mass on Thursday.
- 1:16:25Remember to go to Mass and pray to the Lord and Savior Jesus
- 1:16:28Christ. With that, thank you guys so
- 1:16:30much. Merry Christmas, and I will see
- 1:16:32you guys all again on Friday. Thank you.
- 1:16:36Yeah.
