A dog named Hennessey, who miraculously survived a fiery crash on I-64 in West Virginia, is finally home in Iowa with her grieving family. Her owner, Jeffrey Carl Simons, tragically didn’t survive the June 23 accident, but Hennessey was rescued and quickly became the focus of a heartfelt rescue effort. Thanks to a collaborative effort between shelters and generous donors, Hennessey was reunited with her family via FaceTime before an 800-mile road trip.
