- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Oh wow.
- 0:00SPEAKER_01: I just I just read that Jesse Duggar is expecting uh baby number seven and no it wasn't her brother that impregnated her.
- 0:07SPEAKER_02: Hey Oh my god.
- 0:12SPEAKER_02: Oh, speaking of, I saw this uh text that came in later yesterday that said bad dad jokes.
- 0:18SPEAKER_02: Allie cannot get back fast enough.
- 0:19SPEAKER_01: Oh, I enjoyed some good well, they were okay.
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: They were bad dad jokes for Halloween yesterday.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: That was that would have been Doug.
- 0:26SPEAKER_01: Actually, let me let me go through some text here in a second.
- 0:29SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 0:29SPEAKER_01: Um, and then we kind of we're we're I guess we're going back in time to find out because right before Allie left, right before, you had, and I didn't think you were gonna show up uh that morning.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: You had eaten what we believed, at least I theorized, it was a bad shrimp, right?
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: Like the night before, yeah, and everything came out of your system.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: Like the day before you were gonna travel.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: And uh, but then the question was, were you gonna eat shrimp while you were in New Orleans?
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: And and I guess you did.
- 0:56SPEAKER_02: I ate plenty of it, yeah.
- 0:58SPEAKER_02: Okay, so no issues there.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: We're gonna come back to that, but I I gotta go from the top down on this.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: Uh, let's see here.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: Uh huh.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: Uh, Tracy said, uh, best clap ever, Allie.
- 1:06SPEAKER_01: That would be in reference to the slightly offbeat uh birthday song we did for her.
- 1:11SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 1:11SPEAKER_02: Thank you very much.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: This one from uh let me see here.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: This oh, Brend is here.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: It's uh good everyone, happy hump day.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: Uh welcome back, Allie.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: Uh we come down to uh Chris.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: He's here.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: I'm pretty sure that uh band.
- 1:24SPEAKER_01: Oh, he's talking about the bands.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: You were talking, what was the name of the band you said you saw?
- 1:28SPEAKER_02: Oh, I don't know their name.
- 1:29SPEAKER_02: There's so much music everywhere you go.
- 1:31SPEAKER_02: Anytime you walk into a bar, you're going to see a band.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: Okay, so he was he's referencing a uh band that was down there.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: Uh let's see here.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: Uh Welcome back, Allie.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: Then we come down here to Dean.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: Uh Dean's in is that Dean?
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: Dean's in with a good everyone.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: Welcome back, Allie.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: Hope you had a uh great vacation.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: Uh, have a great day.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: It was awesome.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: Betty's in.
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: Uh uh, welcome back, Allie.
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: Nice to hear you.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: Happy hump day.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: Natalie's here.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: She's tired.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: She stayed up late last night to watch the World Series, which went extra innings.
- 2:02SPEAKER_02: Um, I was wondering because Zach stayed up to watch it too.
- 2:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:06SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, mm-mm, this girl is going to bed.
- 2:09SPEAKER_02: I gotta get back into my routine.
- 2:11SPEAKER_01: It was late last night.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: And then uh, let's see, I'm gonna come down.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: Well, I mean, uh, the regulars are here.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: Iliana, Lauren, uh, and then uh Beth is here with uh good everyone.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: Uh let's see.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: Uh oh, a good everyone.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: Scott, what day is it?
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: Well, let me tell you exactly what day it is.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: I will tell you.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: Hump day.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: It is.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: Uh-oh.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: Guess what day it is?
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: Guess what day it is?
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: Huh?
- 2:34SPEAKER_00: Anybody?
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: Guess what today is?
- 2:37SPEAKER_02: It's hump day.
- 2:39SPEAKER_02: Love it.
- 2:40SPEAKER_02: So what happened with your tooth?
- 2:42SPEAKER_02: Oh, you want that first?
- 2:43SPEAKER_02: Either one.
- 2:44SPEAKER_02: It doesn't matter.
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: Well, uh, let me just tell you.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: I can tell you I am the uh I'm the toughest uh person sitting around this building.
- 2:51SPEAKER_02: Okay, so prior to me leaving for New Orleans, Scott had this really bad toothache for like a week or so.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: Raging.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: I felt it coming in on a Saturday when I finally got to the dentist.
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: Uh, what was it, like midweek?
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: I was like, I mean, it was to the point I couldn't eat.
- 3:05SPEAKER_01: Like nothing was working, right?
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: So she put me on antibiotics because she's like, wow, it is real inflamed back by your uh wisdom tooth.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, okay.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: Um and we thought maybe a piece of food or something got stuck in there.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 3:18SPEAKER_01: So anyway, yesterday the kids had their dentist appointment.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: I have, I've had my cleaning scheduled for today forever, since I scheduled theirs.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: Well, they texted me, they said, get here a few minutes early, we'll smooth out your one tooth.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: This is a different tooth.
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: I had a wear mark on one, and I thought it was very sensitive.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm like, it's weird because sometimes I'll bite down and I'll get like a pain.
- 3:41SPEAKER_01: I thought it was a cavity, right?
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:43SPEAKER_01: And she goes, No, you you don't have any cavities anywhere in your mouth.
- 3:47SPEAKER_01: How is this possible?
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: Hold on.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: This is where it gets better.
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: So she goes, get here early yesterday, and I'll I'll smooth it out and I'll put a little bit of the compound on it just so that you know it it protects it so that if you are chewing, you're not like, you know, oh yeah.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: So this is never a good thing when a dentist and the hygienist is over you and you're like, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: And all of a sudden you hear, oh, oh, do you see what I see?
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: Oh, I didn't see that before.
- 4:13SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, oh.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: What was it?
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: I think we know what the problem is.
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: Allie, I split my wisdom tooth in half to the bottom.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: Don't know how, have no idea how.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: So just so you guys know.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: Wait, wait, you were eating popcorn.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: Well, that's one thing, but but you know, so I mean that could have been it.
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: Maybe it was a seed.
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: Uh, but because the swelling was down, because I was on an antibiotic and she goes, let's get this tamed out.
- 4:41SPEAKER_02: They were able to see it better.
- 4:42SPEAKER_01: She was able to see it.
- 4:43SPEAKER_01: So what it was doing is anytime I would have pain.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: Imagine this: like, take your hands, put them together like you're praying.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:49SPEAKER_01: And if you chew, it would go whoop, whoop, whoop, whoop, with the tooth.
- 4:53SPEAKER_01: And I didn't know.
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: Now, here's the funny part about it.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: That didn't cause me the pain.
- 4:58SPEAKER_01: The pain was because it got so inflamed and and was, you know, this and that.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: So I got yesterday, she goes, Well, we're not gonna tackle that today.
- 5:07SPEAKER_01: But I I literally get to get at 55 a wisdom tooth well pulled out by her.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: Oh my god.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: Still not a cavity.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's like when do you do that?
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: I we don't know.
- 5:17SPEAKER_01: She goes, We're quote unquote.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: Dr.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: Mitchell goes, we're not gonna tackle that today.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: I'm like, okay, that's fine.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: I had the kids with me and all that.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: I was they were just doing something quick.
- 5:26SPEAKER_01: So I get the feeling today I'm gonna come out knowing when they're gonna do it.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: Now the questions start, right?
- 5:31SPEAKER_01: Because you know, first of all, it's a badge of honor.
- 5:34SPEAKER_01: You ever see in the movies when someone gets hit in the mouth and they spit out a tooth and they just stand there and keep on fighting?
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: I had that flash through my head.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I gotta split tooth right down to the it's gone.
- 5:44SPEAKER_01: Well, I've always heard wisdom teeth can like fuse into the bone, but I've but that this is something I've heard.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: You did you have yours removed?
- 5:52SPEAKER_01: I did.
- 5:52SPEAKER_02: Okay, so I mean, I was in high school.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: See, I think that's why they do it early, is because it doesn't really fuse into the bone.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: Or maybe it fuses into the bone if you've got like a crooked wisdom.
- 6:02SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 6:02SPEAKER_02: I've never heard this, but I'm sure you're right.
- 6:04SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: So I'm I kind of had to ask her.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: I'm like, is this gonna require an oral surgeon?
- 6:09SPEAKER_02: Is this where they have to like dig in there?
- 6:12SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: She goes, no, basically, what is this is where it keeps getting worse.
- 6:15SPEAKER_01: She goes, basically, what I'm gonna do is numb the hell out of you, either side of your cheek.
- 6:19SPEAKER_01: And she goes, We use these things that are like tiny little spoons and we wedge out the tooth.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, Oh my god.
- 6:28SPEAKER_01: This is terrible.
- 6:29SPEAKER_01: And then, of course, I had to tell her, I'm like, I really should be tougher than this because my 12-year-old just had two teeth extracted to make room.
- 6:36SPEAKER_01: He haven't had that done so he can have his canines drop properly.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: This happens sometimes, right?
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:41SPEAKER_02: So uh, and but it's funny because you got to keep your wisdom teeth because you had room.
- 6:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:46SPEAKER_02: He has to have teeth removed because he didn't have room.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: It's the weirdest thing.
- 6:49SPEAKER_02: Well, just all depends on, you know, the shape of your mouth.
- 6:51SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 6:52SPEAKER_01: And mine's big.
- 6:53SPEAKER_01: So we know.
- 6:55SPEAKER_01: So at any rate, I guess we're gonna find this out, but let me tell you something.
- 6:58SPEAKER_01: I'm walking around with a split tooth right now and I'm not even shedding a tear.
- 7:02SPEAKER_02: Such a badass.
- 7:03SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's right.
- 7:03SPEAKER_02: Wait, so whenever you get this done, you know, you're gonna because you're gonna be put under.
- 7:07SPEAKER_02: I assume Tiffany's taking you to the dentist.
- 7:10SPEAKER_01: No, I won't be put under.
- 7:11SPEAKER_01: She goes, I can do it here.
- 7:12SPEAKER_01: She goes, if I send you to the oral surgeon, she goes, they have all the gases and everything.
- 7:16SPEAKER_01: She goes, I could just numb the the heck out of it, because she had to numb me.
- 7:19SPEAKER_02: So you're gonna listen to it?
- 7:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, oh, sure.
- 7:22SPEAKER_01: She uh who's the tough bastard that's sitting here with a broken tooth right now?
- 7:25SPEAKER_02: Splitting right down the middle.
- 7:26SPEAKER_02: No, gas me up, baby.
- 7:28SPEAKER_02: Gas me up.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you could come in the room and fart for me.
- 7:31SPEAKER_01: That might not be out.
