- 0:07Speaker 1: This podcast.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Welcome to Meat Eater Trivia, the only game show where
- 0:13Speaker 2: conservation always wins. I'm your host, Spencer Newarth, and today
- 0:17Speaker 2: we're joined by Steven Rinello, Brody Henderson, Ryan Callahan, Randall
- 0:21Speaker 2: Williams Hayden, Samic, Bill Vander Hayden and Derek Wolf. And
- 0:25Speaker 2: this is a very special welcome to our YouTube audience.
- 0:29Speaker 2: This is officially the first episode of Meet Eater Trivia
- 0:33Speaker 2: that you can watch now. Derek, this is your first
- 0:36Speaker 2: time on the show. How do you feel about your
- 0:37Speaker 2: chances of Meat Eatter Trivia?
- 0:39Speaker 3: I mean, I'm, like I said before, I'm not gonna
- 0:41Speaker 3: go into something thinking I'm not gonna win.
- 0:42Speaker 1: So, okay, everybody here is in trouble. You're confident, very confident.
- 0:46Speaker 4: You're throwing a bone.
- 0:47Speaker 3: I might go down in flames, but if I'm gonna
- 0:49Speaker 3: go down, it's gonna be big time.
- 0:50Speaker 2: We're gonna throw a bone. Steve, tell us about this
- 0:52Speaker 2: lacrosse helmet on your head?
- 0:53Speaker 4: Is that what it is? DD? Someone gave this to me?
- 0:59Speaker 2: Uh huh, who gave it to you?
- 1:03Speaker 4: My buddy Brad Wolf gave it to me.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Don't ask me that, Okay, Rude, Derek, what kind of
- 1:09Speaker 2: helmet is that? Is this like a revolution?
- 1:11Speaker 1: What are done? That's old? Silver is like, I don't
- 1:17Speaker 1: even know what the column anymore. It's a shut.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Okay, what position do you think Steve would play?
- 1:21Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:22Speaker 1: Punter, Yeah, play for a long time. That's right.
- 1:28Speaker 4: You don't get messed up.
- 1:29Speaker 1: You don't get hit. It's a penalty to even touch you.
- 1:31Speaker 2: It's perfect now if you're not familiar, this is a
- 1:34Speaker 2: ten round quiz show with questions from meat Eater's four verticals,
- 1:38Speaker 2: which are hunting, fishing, conservation, and cooking, and there is
- 1:40Speaker 2: a prize. Meat Eater will donate five hundred dollars to
- 1:43Speaker 2: the conservation organization of the winners choosing and for the
- 1:47Speaker 2: stat of the week. This week we're looking at Bill's
- 1:50Speaker 2: performance from the last time he was on the show.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Bill was here for episode three sixty five, which Steve
- 1:56Speaker 2: won with eight correct answers. In that round of trivia,
- 2:00Speaker 2: Bill got sixth place with two correct answers, but he
- 2:03Speaker 2: missed the bone that I threw him about the third
- 2:06Speaker 2: most popular broadhead size, Bill, does that question still haunt.
- 2:09Speaker 6: You a little bit?
- 2:11Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 2:12Speaker 1: It was.
- 2:12Speaker 7: The eighty five grain is still the more popular over
- 2:15Speaker 7: one fifty.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought that.
- 2:17Speaker 4: Go because crossbows.
- 2:19Speaker 2: No, I think youth and women eighty five is a
- 2:22Speaker 2: more positive.
- 2:23Speaker 4: Point Bill's outfit. You know Bill Bill works.
- 2:26Speaker 2: He co founder right of iron Will Broadheads. You can
- 2:29Speaker 2: hear him talk about some of the physics of Broadheads
- 2:32Speaker 2: on our last episode that came out on Monday? Did that?
- 2:35Speaker 2: Did that tidbit about eighty five? Grain be in the
- 2:38Speaker 2: third most popular? They didn't change anything for iron Will? Right,
- 2:40Speaker 2: you're not now selling eighty five, are you?
- 2:42Speaker 7: No, we still don't make eighty five. I think one
- 2:44Speaker 7: hundred is very close, you know, practically fifteen and right, So, no,
- 2:51Speaker 7: we still make one five on up to.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Like two fifty.
- 2:55Speaker 2: No eighty five though, yet no eighty five. Now here's
- 2:57Speaker 2: our zero percenter question of the week, which tests out
- 3:00Speaker 2: much knowledge players have retained from previous games. This question
- 3:04Speaker 2: was from episode two eighty seven. The topic was gear,
- 3:07Speaker 2: and nobody got it right. If you know the answer,
- 3:09Speaker 2: you can just shout it out. What do you call
- 3:11Speaker 2: the notches in the back of a knife?
- 3:13Speaker 4: Blade? Jumping? Jumping? Jumping?
- 3:16Speaker 2: Bill? Now, how did you know that that? The answer
- 3:18Speaker 2: was jumping?
- 3:19Speaker 4: I designed knives.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Also, I've noticed one of your knives has two different
- 3:24Speaker 2: sets of jumping, one that's like close to the handle
- 3:26Speaker 2: and one that's in the middle of the blade. What
- 3:28Speaker 2: was the decision making there.
- 3:29Speaker 7: Yeah, one is for the thumb if you're holding it
- 3:32Speaker 7: like and I normally would, but yeah, some people also
- 3:35Speaker 7: like to put their finger up along the back of
- 3:37Speaker 7: the spine all the way towards the tip for guiding,
- 3:40Speaker 7: you know, fine cuts. So that's the reason for the
- 3:42Speaker 7: second set of jumping out near the tip.
- 3:44Speaker 2: When you look at a knife that like say a
- 3:46Speaker 2: big Rambo blade that a gas station is selling, and
- 3:49Speaker 2: you see the jumping in there, can you tell when
- 3:51Speaker 2: someone is like, yeah, they had no idea what they
- 3:53Speaker 2: were doing when they put the jumping in there.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:55Speaker 7: Sometimes it's just kind of to look cool and it's
- 3:58Speaker 7: randomly placed. But yeah, I think want to put it
- 4:00Speaker 7: where there's it helps your grip.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Yeah, it has a real purpose, but most folks don't
- 4:04Speaker 2: realize that there's some housekeeping to get to. In a
- 4:07Speaker 2: previous game of trivia, we learned that Republicans are far
- 4:11Speaker 2: more likely than Democrats to order a medium rare steak.
- 4:14Speaker 4: While the Democrats challenged on that real bad the other day,
- 4:17Speaker 4: what did.
- 4:18Speaker 2: You get challenged about that little factoid about how how
- 4:21Speaker 2: they ordered their steak.
- 4:22Speaker 6: Well, he was like it was in the podcast.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Yeah, he was incredulous.
- 4:26Speaker 2: It was a stat. Now here we go, Uh, Democrats
- 4:30Speaker 2: are far more likely than Republicans to order a well
- 4:33Speaker 2: done steak. Steve followed this up by wondering aloud which
- 4:36Speaker 2: political party is more likely to believe in ghosts? Well,
- 4:40Speaker 2: I found that answer in a twenty nine I can
- 4:43Speaker 2: tell you Hugov survey of thirteen hundred Americans before I
- 4:46Speaker 2: reveal the results, Steve, do you have any more predictions?
- 4:49Speaker 4: Yes, Lefties are way more likely to believe in ghosts.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Okay, what does the rest of the room think? Other
- 4:54Speaker 2: folks have thoughts on this?
- 4:56Speaker 4: Of course in America?
- 4:57Speaker 2: Of course in America. This was survey in twenty nineteen
- 5:01Speaker 2: of thirteen hundred Americans.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Come.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Here are the results from that survey. Eight percent of
- 5:08Speaker 2: Democrats believe in vampires compared to fourteen percent of Republicans.
- 5:13Speaker 2: So eight Clinton fourteen percent Republicans. Thirty thirty seven percent
- 5:20Speaker 2: of Democrats said they believe in demons, compared to fifty
- 5:24Speaker 2: four percent of Republicans. And for the answer to Steve's question,
- 5:28Speaker 2: forty one percent of Democrats said they believe in ghosts,
- 5:32Speaker 2: compared to forty six percent of Republicans.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Jeez, pretty tight right now now I'm getting worried about
- 5:38Speaker 4: my Other thing I always tell people is that lefties
- 5:40Speaker 4: are way more likely to have gluten and top.
- 5:43Speaker 2: We can look that up forty two. Yeah, some future
- 5:47Speaker 2: housekeeping happen.
- 5:47Speaker 5: We know from the podcast, your podcast that the most
- 5:53Speaker 5: ordered steak in America is medium rare.
- 5:56Speaker 2: That's right.
- 5:57Speaker 5: So when we say Democrats are far more likely to
- 6:00Speaker 5: get a well done steak, what is the percentage.
- 6:04Speaker 4: It must be that that's who's buying them.
- 6:06Speaker 2: I don't I don't remember. Now, it was like thirty
- 6:08Speaker 2: percent versus twenty one percent of Democrats. Thirty percent of
- 6:12Speaker 2: them would order a stake well done twenty one percent.
- 6:15Speaker 2: I think we Republicans that after we visit.
- 6:17Speaker 4: That dude, this should be a whole damn show.
- 6:19Speaker 5: When you know, if we have a presidential election, it's
- 6:22Speaker 5: always like fifty to fifty one percent.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a mandate, right, I'm like, well, no, that'd
- 6:29Speaker 4: one hundred and one percent. That'd be like, that'd be
- 6:34Speaker 4: like the elections. That'd be like the election. According to
- 6:36Speaker 4: Trump right, one hundred one mystery votes. But yeah, a
- 6:41Speaker 4: mandate is a percent, a clean percent, you know either,
- 6:46Speaker 4: it's a big win. Now, it's really funny to see
- 6:51Speaker 4: you having.
- 6:51Speaker 5: But I want to know exactly how many people are
- 6:53Speaker 5: ordering well done steak killing it twice as we.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Like to say.
- 6:55Speaker 2: That's right. So, this study showed that Republicans are not
- 7:00Speaker 2: percent more likely than Democrats to believe in the supernatural
- 7:04Speaker 2: and paranormal. Here are a few other takeaways from that.
- 7:07Speaker 4: Because I never I don't meet man, you know what?
- 7:10Speaker 4: All right?
- 7:11Speaker 2: Here are a few other takeaways from that study. Forty
- 7:14Speaker 2: five percent of Americans believe ghosts can come back to
- 7:17Speaker 2: specific places on Earth to haunt people. Thirty six percent
- 7:21Speaker 2: of Americans said they've personally felt the presence of a
- 7:25Speaker 2: spirit or ghost, and thirteen percent of Americans said they've
- 7:29Speaker 2: directly communicated with the ghost of someone who has died.
- 7:33Speaker 4: That's cool.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Anybody in this room talk to a ghost? Brod are
- 7:37Speaker 2: you raising your hand?
- 7:38Speaker 6: No?
- 7:39Speaker 4: No?
- 7:39Speaker 8: But I talked to my FedEx lady about the ghosts
- 7:42Speaker 8: in her house.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Oh, how does that go?
- 7:45Speaker 8: She has a haunted house. When she asked me if
- 7:47Speaker 8: my house was haunted?
- 7:49Speaker 2: Oh, really, what do you think her political leanings are.
- 7:52Speaker 8: I don't think she pays attention much to those matters.
- 7:55Speaker 6: How much you should have done independence?
- 7:57Speaker 4: Oh man, you can't if you're a fed Ex driver, Dude,
- 7:59Speaker 4: you can't be pulling out the peace houses giving them
- 8:01Speaker 4: like your political spiel.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:02Speaker 8: No, she just wanted to know about ghosts if I
- 8:04Speaker 8: had any ghosts, and I said, no, we don't have ghosts.
- 8:06Speaker 4: Yeah, it was you're gonna want to getting her in trouble.
- 8:09Speaker 5: So Livingston is a railroad town, right, so lots of bars,
- 8:13Speaker 5: lots of brothels back in the day, and I've had
- 8:17Speaker 5: many conversations with folks. There's a janitor in the uh
- 8:22Speaker 5: Murray Hotel who uh does casual exorcisms.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, what's the difference.
- 8:30Speaker 4: She he's just like the local guy to call.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Okay, you don't want to get official and go down.
- 8:36Speaker 5: To the Catholic church, so you get the janitor from
- 8:38Speaker 5: the Murray.
- 8:39Speaker 6: Host He's kind of like, hey, do you mind leaving?
- 8:42Speaker 5: He told me those gals just don't want to leave.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Okay, Wow, Livingston, that's why they were asking you.
- 8:49Speaker 8: This was actually my old FedEx lady in Missoula.
- 8:52Speaker 4: But trying to save the person's No.
- 8:55Speaker 8: Incidentally, she claimed that her neighbor's house used to be
- 8:58Speaker 8: a brothel and that this was just sort of spill
- 9:00Speaker 8: over haunting from those spirits.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Property lines, not enough room at the end. What was
- 9:08Speaker 2: your relationship with your FedEx driver that you do that?
- 9:14Speaker 2: I feel like this? How did this even come up?
- 9:20Speaker 8: She literally asked me if I had ghosts in mind?
- 9:22Speaker 8: She said, boy, it looks like an old house. Do
- 9:24Speaker 8: you have ghosts in it?
- 9:26Speaker 2: And you said?
- 9:27Speaker 4: I said, to the.
- 9:28Speaker 8: Best of my my knowledge, no, we can.
- 9:32Speaker 6: We can move on.
- 9:34Speaker 2: The Shelby index for today's round is a four, so
- 9:37Speaker 2: our winner should get eight correct answers, and with that
- 9:40Speaker 2: we're onto the game of trivia. Play the drop, Phil, Look,
- 9:45Speaker 2: I need to know what I stand to win everything?
- 9:49Speaker 4: How's that just tend to win everything?
- 9:59Speaker 2: Demons suckers, that free hppy brain a little Steve.
- 10:03Speaker 4: I gotta hear it like it's God coming, like a
- 10:06Speaker 4: few my headphones, you know.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Yeah. Question one the topic is conservation. In this will
- 10:12Speaker 2: be multiple choice, Which of these national parks does not
- 10:16Speaker 2: have whitetail, deer, Everglades, mount Rainier, Grand Teeton, or bad Lands?
- 10:25Speaker 2: Which of these national parks does not have whitetail deer, Everglades,
- 10:31Speaker 2: mount Rainier, Grand Teton, or bad Lands. If you're watching
- 10:36Speaker 2: on YouTube, you get to see the question in front
- 10:40Speaker 2: of you again, the four choices, Everglades, mount Rainier, Grand Teton,
- 10:44Speaker 2: bad Lands, Steve, are you confident in your answer?
- 10:50Speaker 4: Yeah? Pretty much? Okay, not totally? Pretty much? What you got, Brody?
- 10:55Speaker 6: Nothing yet due when we were on book here.
- 10:58Speaker 4: You wouldn't believe how many people uh have suck at
- 11:01Speaker 4: Brody memorabilia.
- 11:04Speaker 9: They make it themselves, shirt stickers, all sorts of cool stuff.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Did you sign a lot of things? Suck it Brody,
- 11:10Speaker 2: Steve ran shirts. I so we even had to suck
- 11:13Speaker 2: at Steve signed by Brody Henderson.
- 11:16Speaker 6: That's a new thing.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Does everybody have an answer? Which national park does not
- 11:21Speaker 2: have white tailed deer, Everglades, mount Rainier, Grand Teton, Badlands, Brody?
- 11:28Speaker 2: I think we're waiting on you.
- 11:29Speaker 6: You are, I'm giving it a minute.
- 11:33Speaker 2: You're gonna give us an opportunity for Randall to tell
- 11:35Speaker 2: the more ghost stories. Okay, this is what I'm doing
- 11:39Speaker 2: for It's everybody ready?
- 11:42Speaker 4: Please be a game show called Dead or Alive?
- 11:45Speaker 2: Not familiar?
- 11:46Speaker 4: You just name a person. You gotta tell the dead
- 11:48Speaker 4: or alive. So I think like a habit, and whether
- 11:51Speaker 4: it's a right wing or left wing habit would be
- 11:53Speaker 4: a great game show.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Okay, it's good. The horseshoe is what we'll call it.
- 11:56Speaker 2: It's everybody ready, Brody, what do we doing over there?
- 12:00Speaker 2: Go ahead and reveal your answers. We have Bill sang
- 12:04Speaker 2: mount Rainier, Wolf saying mount Rainier. Cal sang mount Rainier.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Brody said, what's that say? Brody?
- 12:12Speaker 4: Brody wrote something goofy?
- 12:13Speaker 2: Grand teetngs out he's the only got it wrong. Randall
- 12:20Speaker 2: and Hayden and Steve All saying mount Rainier. The correct
- 12:25Speaker 2: answer is mount Rainier. Brody got it wrong. White tails
- 12:31Speaker 2: are considered very common in the Everglades, common in the
- 12:35Speaker 2: bad Lands, rare in the Grand Tetons, and non existent
- 12:39Speaker 2: in Mount Rainier, the closest white tails to Mount Rainier.
- 12:43Speaker 9: We've got one question right, and he's already talked.
- 12:48Speaker 4: I'm not happy I got it right. I'm happy you
- 12:49Speaker 4: got it wrong.
- 12:51Speaker 2: It's it's important detail.
- 12:52Speaker 5: You want to know my management plan? What he got
- 12:55Speaker 5: If you draw a mule deer tag and Grand Teton
- 12:58Speaker 5: National Park, he automatically get away tail tag either sex Oh,
- 13:02Speaker 5: keep those little rats from expanding.
- 13:03Speaker 2: You get what's what are the draw ods for getting
- 13:06Speaker 2: a mule deer in the Grand Tee Tons National.
- 13:08Speaker 5: If they're over the counter, you get a bonus tag.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Shit, that's good.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Fine. Now.
- 13:12Speaker 2: The closest white tails of the Mount Rainier those that
- 13:14Speaker 2: live about thirty miles east near Yakima, and some Colombian
- 13:18Speaker 2: white tails that live about seventy miles southwest near the
- 13:22Speaker 2: Oregon border. Question two. The topic is hunting. This is
- 13:27Speaker 2: our Limenar question of the Week, which was won by
- 13:29Speaker 2: Wentz Elbin for sending this great question. Wentz is going
- 13:32Speaker 2: to get a book signed by Steve. Name one of
- 13:36Speaker 2: the three states with the most bow hunters in twenty
- 13:40Speaker 2: twenty one. Name one of the three states with the
- 13:46Speaker 2: most bow hunters in twenty twenty one. This is my
- 13:50Speaker 2: bone for Bill from Ironwill. Bill, I assume you're familiar
- 13:55Speaker 2: with where a lot of your sales get shipped to you.
- 13:57Speaker 2: You think that's going to help you with this question?
- 13:59Speaker 7: Definitely gonna help me.
- 14:00Speaker 2: One again, looking for one of the three states with
- 14:03Speaker 2: the most bow hunters in twenty twenty one.
- 14:07Speaker 9: Got an answer over there.
- 14:10Speaker 10: M h.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Room is quick to answer Randalls still thinking, Cal, still thinking, Derek,
- 14:17Speaker 2: how do you feel bout your answer?
- 14:18Speaker 1: A top three though, that's the problem.
- 14:22Speaker 2: One of the top three, just name one.
- 14:24Speaker 1: I think. I think I'm a.
- 14:28Speaker 4: Doing that little deal where.
- 14:29Speaker 2: You read, we can read down what you crossed out?
- 14:33Speaker 2: How many? How many did you cross out?
- 14:35Speaker 4: Steve? Well, I haven't written the one I'm going to
- 14:38Speaker 4: cross out yet, not even.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Do that, Okay, but good guy, not even gonna do it. Cal,
- 14:44Speaker 2: how are we doing over there?
- 14:44Speaker 9: A lot of people Canada isn't one of the states?
- 14:47Speaker 4: Cal, I'm ready?
- 14:52Speaker 2: Is everybody? Is everybody ready? Go ahead and reveal your answers.
- 14:56Speaker 2: We have Bill saying Pennsylvania saying Pennsylvania. Cal sang Alabama,
- 15:01Speaker 2: Brody sang Texas, Randalls saying Texas, Hayden saying Kansas, Steve
- 15:07Speaker 2: saying Pennsylvania right, Who's not right?
- 15:10Speaker 4: Hayden? And Cal.
- 15:12Speaker 2: The top three states are Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan. The
- 15:18Speaker 2: room did very well. Alabama to Texas.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Texas were not to.
- 15:25Speaker 6: Brutal start.
- 15:26Speaker 2: This is according to a report published by the Archery
- 15:29Speaker 2: Trade Association. Pennsylvania is first in the country at three
- 15:33Speaker 2: hundred and thirty one thousand, followed by Wisconsin at three
- 15:37Speaker 2: hundred seven thousand and Michigan at three hundred four thousand.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Those three states combined for over twenty five percent of
- 15:44Speaker 2: the entire nation's bowhunting population. Just missing the top three
- 15:48Speaker 2: were New York, Missouri, and Illinois. No bill, does that
- 15:52Speaker 2: follow the trend you'd expect Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan.
- 15:56Speaker 4: It does. But I also read that report so as.
- 16:00Speaker 2: That's why that he didn't need to go.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Into his order. He didn't need to go into his
- 16:04Speaker 4: order back.
- 16:05Speaker 5: I felt like season length would have a lot to
- 16:08Speaker 5: do with it.
- 16:09Speaker 4: I was just going by what state is usually in
- 16:11Speaker 4: there for having I'll.
- 16:13Speaker 9: Tell you what it has to do with this crossbows
- 16:18Speaker 9: archery license. Sales like crossbows are legal, and so why why.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Didn't you put on one of those answers?
- 16:25Speaker 4: At this point, after having the wrong answer, he comes
- 16:28Speaker 4: in and tell you how obvious the right answer was.
- 16:31Speaker 9: Do you think my reasonings solid?
- 16:34Speaker 4: Quiet?
- 16:35Speaker 7: So, I think if you just went with total number
- 16:37Speaker 7: of hunters, Texas would be way up.
- 16:39Speaker 4: Now, well they do Texas dukes it out with Pennsylvania
- 16:41Speaker 4: and Michigan. Are they are they clearly in the winter.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Now, I think Texas has most licensing. I think question
- 16:47Speaker 2: three the topic is cooking. According to Mississippi State University,
- 16:53Speaker 2: bell peppers that are this color are the sweetest. According
- 16:59Speaker 2: to Mississippi State University, bell peppers that are this color
- 17:04Speaker 2: are the sweetest. Steve with a quick answer answer, Okay, Brody,
- 17:11Speaker 2: do you have this one right? You think it's gonna
- 17:13Speaker 2: get you on the board? Cal also with a quick answer, Cal,
- 17:17Speaker 2: you know the answer? No, Okay again, looking for the
- 17:20Speaker 2: color of bell pepper that is sweetest.
- 17:26Speaker 5: I mean, in Montana, most stories you can only get
- 17:29Speaker 5: green bell peppers.
- 17:29Speaker 1: So you can't.
- 17:31Speaker 4: You can't help himself.
- 17:34Speaker 6: I don't have trouble.
- 17:36Speaker 4: He has to start talking about.
- 17:38Speaker 5: You're the only person who hasn't written down an answer, but.
- 17:43Speaker 4: I'm waiting to change it based on what he says.
- 17:45Speaker 2: The boards is every is everybody ready for? According to
- 17:50Speaker 2: Mississippi State University, bell peppers that are this color are
- 17:53Speaker 2: the sweetest.
- 17:54Speaker 4: Yeah. Like mid question, here's one way to look at it.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Go ahead, go ahead and reveal yours. We have Bill
- 18:01Speaker 2: saying yellow, Wolf saying yellow cow sang Red, Brody saying red,
- 18:07Speaker 2: Randall saying orange Hayden sang yellow, Steve saying yellow. The
- 18:13Speaker 2: correct answer is red.
- 18:17Speaker 6: Two people get it. Few folks, I disagree.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Bell peppers become more sweet as they become bell peppers
- 18:27Speaker 2: become more sweet as they become more ripe. That means
- 18:30Speaker 2: that green bell peppers, which are the least ripe, are
- 18:34Speaker 2: also the least sweet. After green, they turn yellow and
- 18:37Speaker 2: then orange and then red. For this same reason, green
- 18:41Speaker 2: bell peppers are also the cheapest because they can be
- 18:44Speaker 2: grown the fastest the same pepper.
- 18:51Speaker 1: It's just a.
- 18:53Speaker 2: That's why red is the more expensive, and then orange
- 18:55Speaker 2: and then yellow and then green.
- 18:58Speaker 10: Orange.
- 18:59Speaker 4: Just made that up.
- 19:00Speaker 6: Yeah, you're I mean, you're in your garden. They change colors.
- 19:04Speaker 4: How come when I buy like a green pepper and
- 19:07Speaker 4: I don't take good care of it, it doesn't turn
- 19:09Speaker 4: into a more expensive.
- 19:10Speaker 2: It's not on the plant anymore. And that makes it
- 19:13Speaker 2: Steve Brody.
- 19:14Speaker 4: Bananas right, run out and run out and go pick
- 19:18Speaker 4: a little green apple right now. Put it on your Connor.
- 19:20Speaker 4: Watch you get real big red bananas turn from green
- 19:24Speaker 4: to yellow and then brown.
- 19:26Speaker 2: That's good, Steve Brodia, What what color do your bell
- 19:29Speaker 2: peppers get? Harvested in the garden ready green, I do
- 19:33Speaker 2: him green?
- 19:33Speaker 4: Yeah, because I'm just antsy, you know. I mean, it's
- 19:36Speaker 4: like so I don't want to let something happen to him.
- 19:38Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 19:38Speaker 6: The longer you leave them out there, ye got a.
- 19:40Speaker 4: Rotten spot, something ate a hole through it. Like when
- 19:43Speaker 4: it's good to go, I'm gonna grab it.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Question for the topic is fishing. This next great question
- 19:48Speaker 2: comes to his via Adam B. If you have a
- 19:50Speaker 2: question you think it's right for Meat Eat to Trivia,
- 19:52Speaker 2: you can send it to Trivia at the meat eater
- 19:54Speaker 2: dot com. Dolphinfish and dorado are nicknames for this saltwater fish.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Dolphin fish and dorado are nicknames for this saltwater fish.
- 20:08Speaker 2: The room is very confident.
- 20:11Speaker 4: Step outside.
- 20:11Speaker 2: What do you got? It's about this question? Yes, okay,
- 20:17Speaker 2: dolphin fish and dorado our nickname.
- 20:20Speaker 4: Make sure I got the right.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Very thorough of you. A confident room, at least based
- 20:28Speaker 2: on how quickly they came up with their answers. Is
- 20:31Speaker 2: everybody ready? Go ahead and reveal your answers. We have
- 20:36Speaker 2: bill saying mahi mahi, wolf saying mahi mahi mahi. Every
- 20:41Speaker 2: single person said mahi. They all got it right, the
- 20:45Speaker 2: correct answer is mahi mahi? Well done? It's impressive for us.
- 20:50Speaker 9: I got a question about your question, is mahi mahi
- 20:53Speaker 9: not also a nickname?
- 20:56Speaker 4: Well, you said I always wondered about it twice? Does
- 20:59Speaker 4: for you?
- 21:00Speaker 2: They were just I think the question would still say
- 21:03Speaker 2: if I said, like, Mahi mahi and dorado are nicknames
- 21:05Speaker 2: for this saltwater fish, then you'd say dolphin fish. Right,
- 21:09Speaker 2: that's just weirdly And now in the I g f
- 21:11Speaker 2: A Record books they call them dolphin.
- 21:13Speaker 9: Fish, so that she should have said mahi and dorado
- 21:17Speaker 9: are nickname for and would definitely.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Got that wrong.
- 21:21Speaker 2: The problem I was running, it seemed like mahi mahi
- 21:24Speaker 2: was like where more official literature leaned, So we went
- 21:28Speaker 2: with that.
- 21:28Speaker 4: What do you got, Steve Man?
- 21:29Speaker 1: When we're.
- 21:32Speaker 4: A couple months ago, we were into Bahamas and we're
- 21:34Speaker 4: down to Spearfish and on the way out to where
- 21:36Speaker 4: we're going to go, these boys I was with Cameron
- 21:38Speaker 4: kirk Connell and his mate Man, they would I mean
- 21:43Speaker 4: a lot of people probably know this, but I just
- 21:45Speaker 4: didn't realize how precise it was. They'll find a single frigatebird,
- 21:49Speaker 4: not like a bunch of birds crashing down on bait.
- 21:53Speaker 4: They'll find a single frigate bird.
- 21:55Speaker 2: What is a frigatebird?
- 21:58Speaker 4: They got that? They got that shape kind of like.
- 22:01Speaker 2: He's drawing it for us.
- 22:03Speaker 4: Oh man, not that.
- 22:05Speaker 9: I mean I thought that was look like that, Okay.
- 22:09Speaker 9: I thought that was a widely known thing, that those
- 22:11Speaker 9: things follow billfish and stuff around.
- 22:15Speaker 4: What you got for a score today.
- 22:17Speaker 2: I'm just saying, so, is that at the end of
- 22:19Speaker 2: your story.
- 22:20Speaker 6: I thought you'd know that.
- 22:21Speaker 4: Listen and they would like, by the bird's demeanor, they
- 22:27Speaker 4: know what that bird was doing, and it'd take that
- 22:30Speaker 4: boat with the troll and tackle out and basically just
- 22:33Speaker 4: try to cut that bird off. And you'd be like,
- 22:34Speaker 4: come on, and it'd cut that bird off. Wam fish,
- 22:38Speaker 4: Go find another one and cut them off. Whamp fish
- 22:40Speaker 4: is amazing, man. One yeah, one bird. They're like, no,
- 22:45Speaker 4: he's following one. I mean, how you know he's not
- 22:49Speaker 4: doing something different? Like, I don't know, he just did.
- 22:52Speaker 2: That's that obvious. The name mahi mahi comes from the
- 22:55Speaker 2: Hawaiian language and means very strong. Despite their nicknames, they
- 22:59Speaker 2: aren't relay to dolphins or golden dorado's. The world record
- 23:03Speaker 2: mahi mahi weighed eighty seven pounds but the species often
- 23:07Speaker 2: doesn't exceed thirty. Question five, the topic is public land.
- 23:12Speaker 2: What federal agency has a blue goose on their signs? Again,
- 23:20Speaker 2: this is question five. The topic is public land. What
- 23:24Speaker 2: federal agency has a blue goose on their signs? Now, Brodie,
- 23:31Speaker 2: when you got the red bell pepper question? Right, did
- 23:34Speaker 2: you know it? Or you just guessing?
- 23:38Speaker 6: Are you trying to distract me?
- 23:39Speaker 2: Trying to distract it?
- 23:43Speaker 4: You knew what that university had said.
- 23:49Speaker 9: I've read like cooking books to be clear, like missus
- 23:53Speaker 9: sus sweetest Again, I think this is a widely known thing.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Yeah, so any if you google like sweet spell pepper,
- 24:00Speaker 2: everybody says red bell pepper. But I put in there
- 24:02Speaker 2: the Mississippi State University.
- 24:05Speaker 4: He said he knew it. I don't think that he knew.
- 24:07Speaker 4: I don't think that he knew that it was Mississippi State.
- 24:11Speaker 9: Steve's gone from trivia and just comes back and just
- 24:14Speaker 9: starts going.
- 24:16Speaker 6: It just goes.
- 24:17Speaker 2: It's been building up. He hasn't got to uh have
- 24:20Speaker 2: this for a while. What federal agency has a blue
- 24:23Speaker 2: goose on their signs? Heyden, you look confident? Do you
- 24:28Speaker 2: have this one right?
- 24:29Speaker 4: You're mistake in total befuddlement for confidence.
- 24:34Speaker 8: You know, I feel like I have a decent chance.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Okay, how's the rest of him doing? Brodi's still drinking.
- 24:41Speaker 2: I have no idea, Brody, you could be out of
- 24:43Speaker 2: the game if you don't get this.
- 24:44Speaker 9: You guys just talking to me for five minutes while
- 24:47Speaker 9: I was trying to answer.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Okay, everyone, nobody look at Brody till until we reveal answers.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Don't even acknowledge him. Leave that guy.
- 24:56Speaker 6: Do we need to separate time? Like think it out
- 24:58Speaker 6: at all?
- 24:59Speaker 2: Cal? You have this one right.
- 25:03Speaker 5: I know exactly where I've seen the science, and.
- 25:06Speaker 4: I know I can tell you where on the road.
- 25:09Speaker 5: I know, I do know, but I had to write
- 25:12Speaker 5: my answer down real fast so I wasn't accused of cheating.
- 25:15Speaker 2: What do you think of Brodie's answer that he's right?
- 25:18Speaker 5: I'm trying not to look at it anything, Okay, but yeah,
- 25:21Speaker 5: I think I buffed it.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Whatever is everybody ready? Go ahead and reveal your answers.
- 25:28Speaker 2: We have Bill saying b L M. Wolf saying fishing, game,
- 25:32Speaker 2: Cal saying US Fish and Wildlife Service, Brody saying refuge system,
- 25:38Speaker 2: Randall saying US Fish and Wildlife Service, Hayden saying Army
- 25:42Speaker 2: Corps of Engineers. Steve saying, US Fish and Wildlife Service,
- 25:46Speaker 2: we have a correct answer in the room. It's the
- 25:49Speaker 2: National Wildlife Brody, got it right?
- 25:55Speaker 8: Is that an agency?
- 25:57Speaker 2: That is an agency.
- 25:59Speaker 4: Service?
- 26:00Speaker 5: Yeah, that's fishing game, those service.
- 26:03Speaker 1: It's all the same.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Federal agency has a blue goose on their that's not
- 26:09Speaker 2: a federal agency, US Fish and Wildlife Services.
- 26:11Speaker 4: The agency, buddy, it is.
- 26:13Speaker 2: The agency that like saying the d O, I is
- 26:15Speaker 2: the federal agency because they're they're rolled up under them.
- 26:19Speaker 4: Well, let's go way back. That is not an agency,
- 26:24Speaker 4: is not?
- 26:25Speaker 6: You better pull That was a great question.
- 26:28Speaker 4: Not an agency. You better get another question out. Not
- 26:31Speaker 4: an agency.
- 26:31Speaker 2: I don't think I don't. I don't think you would.
- 26:33Speaker 4: Show me your board. It's not an agency.
- 26:36Speaker 1: It's not.
- 26:37Speaker 9: That's like, that's like, that's like if you questions.
- 26:40Speaker 4: Are, that's the the US it's the agency.
- 26:46Speaker 8: It's like the answer was army and he said military base, Like,
- 26:51Speaker 8: it's not the same.
- 26:52Speaker 6: No, that's not the same at all.
- 26:54Speaker 9: It would be like army rangers the system group.
- 27:01Speaker 4: Point.
- 27:02Speaker 2: But here's here's what Google says. The National Wildlife Refuge
- 27:09Speaker 2: System is a system of protected areas of the United
- 27:13Speaker 2: States system managed by the US Fish and Wildlife.
- 27:16Speaker 6: Where do you find with blue goose.
- 27:18Speaker 4: And the question?
- 27:21Speaker 8: The question asked us to name an agency, and Brody
- 27:23Speaker 8: did not name an agency.
- 27:25Speaker 4: It's not an agency. I named an agency, the correct one.
- 27:28Speaker 2: I will admit the question had a flaw. We're going
- 27:30Speaker 2: to give it to the US Fish and Wildlife Service
- 27:32Speaker 2: people as well as Brody, who is okay.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna.
- 27:38Speaker 4: Fe I don't think Brody should get it.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Who said us should get it right?
- 27:42Speaker 6: Because I hit the nail on the head.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Because fish fishing game is what is what that means?
- 27:48Speaker 2: It's it's US Fish and Wildly Service.
- 27:52Speaker 4: Going to service.
- 27:54Speaker 11: I had not raise your hand. You will not be
- 27:56Speaker 11: getting to play Steve and Randall and Cal and Brody.
- 28:00Speaker 1: No. I feel like I should get a point for that.
- 28:02Speaker 4: Listen, he did not name an agency.
- 28:05Speaker 2: The blue goose has been used on refuge signs and
- 28:09Speaker 2: exhibits since nineteen thirty six. That's when Politzer Prize winning
- 28:12Speaker 2: cartoonist Ding Darling designed the symbol. He spent eighteen months
- 28:16Speaker 2: as the chief of the Bureau of Biological Survey, which
- 28:20Speaker 2: later became the US Fish and Wildlife service.
- 28:23Speaker 4: Phil gar me this like, there you have it? What
- 28:27Speaker 4: does there you have it? Where my kids like when
- 28:30Speaker 4: one of them gets in mega trouble and the other
- 28:33Speaker 4: one kind of looks like, I know how long?
- 28:37Speaker 2: Browdy? Or excuse me, Phil, we are halfway through the
- 28:40Speaker 2: game of trivia. Give us a scoreboard update.
- 28:42Speaker 11: Yes, so we've got Hayden in last place with two points.
- 28:47Speaker 11: It's a close game though between everyone coming up next,
- 28:49Speaker 11: we've got Derek, Randall, Bill and Brody all with three
- 28:53Speaker 11: points apiece, and then in first place all tied up
- 28:55Speaker 11: are Callan Steve with four points.
- 28:57Speaker 4: Anybody's game. It's the cameras that are freaking me.
- 29:00Speaker 5: You have to say, if you want a good refresher
- 29:03Speaker 5: as to why regulations are so darn complicated some places,
- 29:06Speaker 5: go look through the Ding Darlang political cartoons when he
- 29:10Speaker 5: was trying to get the duck stamp in place. It's
- 29:14Speaker 5: entertaining and it's educational.
- 29:16Speaker 2: One hundred years later, I cali back in the nineteen
- 29:19Speaker 2: twenties and thirties, it still still rings true today. Question six,
- 29:33Speaker 2: the topic is conservation. This next great question comes to
- 29:36Speaker 2: his via Frederick Schaeffer. If you have a question you
- 29:38Speaker 2: think is right for meat Eatter trivia. You can send
- 29:40Speaker 2: it to trivia at the medeater dot com. Name one
- 29:45Speaker 2: of the three states with the most feral horses living
- 29:49Speaker 2: on BLM Land. Name one of the three states with
- 29:56Speaker 2: the most feral horses living on Blmland, and confidence Steve confident, Cal, Yeah, that.
- 30:03Speaker 4: Was like that was like that was like the trivia
- 30:05Speaker 4: equivalent of a mic drop.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Okay, you got this one right. Steve did a board drop.
- 30:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it was. I think you could have
- 30:12Speaker 4: narrowed it down a little more.
- 30:14Speaker 2: You'd like like top one or two as well, you'd
- 30:16Speaker 2: like Okay, we'll see how the room does. Is everybody ready,
- 30:21Speaker 2: go ahead and reveal your answers. We have Bill saying Montana,
- 30:26Speaker 2: Wolf saying Wyoming, Cal sang Nevada, Brody saying Nevada, Randall
- 30:31Speaker 2: saying Nevada, Hayden saying South Dakota, Steve saying Nevada. The
- 30:35Speaker 2: top three states are Nevada, Wyoming, and Oregon. The room
- 30:41Speaker 2: did pretty well. Arizona's not in the top three.
- 30:44Speaker 8: How many states have wild horses faraoh horses faraoh horses?
- 30:48Speaker 2: I know ten, maybe something like that. I'm not sure.
- 30:50Speaker 4: Well, no, because faral horse. Then you open up a
- 30:55Speaker 4: real can of worms.
- 30:56Speaker 2: You would call him something else.
- 30:58Speaker 4: Well, there's the there's a difference, there's a management difference
- 31:02Speaker 4: between a faral horse and a wild horse or burrow.
- 31:06Speaker 5: This kind of goes back. You want to go back.
- 31:09Speaker 4: Yeah, a far horse would just be that if I
- 31:12Speaker 4: had a horse get away and that horse was away,
- 31:15Speaker 4: that would become a feral horse. Well, they're not protected
- 31:19Speaker 4: under the Wild Horse and Burrow Protection Act.
- 31:21Speaker 5: But what if you, as a Spanish conquista door had
- 31:26Speaker 5: a bunch of horses get away.
- 31:27Speaker 4: Those become wild Those would be wild horses and burrows
- 31:32Speaker 4: under protection over under protection of the Wild Horse and
- 31:36Speaker 4: Burrow Protection Act. But if my horse gets away, let's
- 31:39Speaker 4: say more, let's the way I live in Hawaii. My
- 31:41Speaker 4: horse gets away and it reaches finds other horses that
- 31:43Speaker 4: got away, and those horses have offspring, and so you
- 31:46Speaker 4: have wild born. Those aren't even wild horses. Those would
- 31:50Speaker 4: be feral horses because they're not protected by the Wild
- 31:54Speaker 4: Horse and Burrough Protection Act.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Nevada has forty five thousand feral horses living on BLM
- 31:59Speaker 2: L and that's followed by Wyoming with nine thousand and
- 32:02Speaker 2: Oregon with five thousand. Just missing. The top three are California, Utah,
- 32:07Speaker 2: and Colorado. These population estimates don't take into account the
- 32:11Speaker 2: feral horses that are living on other forms of public land,
- 32:14Speaker 2: private land, or reservations.
- 32:16Speaker 11: Sorry, guys, really quick, and I get hands. If you
- 32:18Speaker 11: got that last one right, that was trying to fix something, you.
- 32:20Speaker 4: Know'd be a cool way to do questions. Man, what
- 32:22Speaker 4: do you get should think about? Mm hmm is like
- 32:25Speaker 4: pick a question that you know everybody's gonna have, Like
- 32:28Speaker 4: the answer is gonna be in Nevada, okay, and then
- 32:32Speaker 4: exclude the obvious one.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Well, we've done that, you know we've but you can't
- 32:38Speaker 2: do the obvious one. I'll give you an example we've done,
- 32:41Speaker 2: like what shark is held responsible for the second most
- 32:44Speaker 2: fatal attacks. We've done a broadhead question that was the
- 32:47Speaker 2: most popular. Weights are one hundred gain, one hundred grain,
- 32:50Speaker 2: one hundred and twenty five grain, and blank.
- 32:52Speaker 4: Well, you're already using my idea.
- 32:54Speaker 2: We've done it before. Steve's idea. Question seven, the topic
- 32:58Speaker 2: is hunting. When Payton Manning broke this quarterbacks record for
- 33:03Speaker 2: career passing yards, he sent Peyton a congratulatory video from
- 33:07Speaker 2: his tree stand. This is a bone that I'm throwing
- 33:12Speaker 2: to Derek Wolf. When Peyton Manning broke this quarterbacks record
- 33:17Speaker 2: for career passing yards, he sent Peyton a congratulatory video
- 33:23Speaker 2: from his tree stand. Derek, do you have this one right?
- 33:27Speaker 1: I think so?
- 33:28Speaker 2: Okay, you don't want to give any hints to our room.
- 33:30Speaker 2: You could be one of the only ones who gets
- 33:31Speaker 2: this one right.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Really, quarterback that I like to kill quarterbacks?
- 33:41Speaker 4: Uh huh?
- 33:42Speaker 2: Is everybody ready? When Peyton Manning broke this quarterbacks record
- 33:48Speaker 2: for career passing yards, he sent Peyton a congratulatory video
- 33:52Speaker 2: from his tree stand. See how many quarterbacks do you
- 33:57Speaker 2: think you could name? If you had to?
- 33:58Speaker 4: It was Jim McMahon.
- 34:01Speaker 12: Okay, everything for Steven quite a few.
- 34:11Speaker 4: Actually, if it's the obvious one.
- 34:14Speaker 2: I don't know what the obvious one is. Everybody turn
- 34:17Speaker 2: your boards over, go ahead and reveal your answers. We
- 34:21Speaker 2: have Bill sang Farv saying Brett Farv, cow saying, Tom Brady,
- 34:26Speaker 2: Brody saying Brett Farv, Randall saying Brett Farv. Hayden and
- 34:30Speaker 2: Steve both saying Brett Farr.
- 34:32Speaker 4: Dude, Now you don't hang out in tree stands, I
- 34:36Speaker 4: can tell you that.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Yeah, the correct answer is Brett Farr.
- 34:40Speaker 5: Brett Farv hangs out and peeler joints, Like, what is
- 34:46Speaker 5: a joint?
- 34:48Speaker 2: What's a peeler.
- 34:49Speaker 5: Place where ladies dance and take off your clothes.
- 34:53Speaker 4: Oh, I've never heard it called that before.
- 34:57Speaker 2: That happened in Week ten of the twenty fifth teen
- 35:00Speaker 2: season when the Chiefs beat the Broncos twenty nine to thirteen.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Our guest was off the field started in that game
- 35:07Speaker 2: and had two tackles. Phil played the clip where Farv
- 35:10Speaker 2: congratulates Manning.
- 35:12Speaker 10: Peyton, I'm in a treestand yeah, you've interrupted me again. Anyway, man,
- 35:20Speaker 10: I'm very happy for you. Congrats, but now you have
- 35:24Speaker 10: to take them all away. Good luck, man, the.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Best, Derek, Now, what do you remember about that game?
- 35:32Speaker 2: In what was what I would assume is like the
- 35:34Speaker 2: low point in your Super Bowl season.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Peyton Manning got boot off the field.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Yeah, he had what thirty five passing.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Yards to a zero percent quarterback rating.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Which is is damn near impossible to pull off.
- 35:44Speaker 3: Yeah, he got two intersec or he threw like four
- 35:47Speaker 3: or five picks in the first half and they brought
- 35:49Speaker 3: in Brock Osweiler, and then we went on one four
- 35:52Speaker 3: out of six with Brock and then went into the
- 35:55Speaker 3: playoffs with Peyton.
- 35:56Speaker 2: Was it was that like the low point in the
- 35:57Speaker 2: season for you guys.
- 35:58Speaker 3: It was rough because we're like, what's gonna happen? Because
- 36:01Speaker 3: Peyton was in bad shape. His his feet were messed up,
- 36:03Speaker 3: he couldn't hardly throw football, he couldn't feel his hand.
- 36:05Speaker 3: It was like, it's just not good.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Because seemed like a long ways away.
- 36:09Speaker 3: Yeah, it seemed like a long shot. But our defense
- 36:10Speaker 3: was still really good. So you know, we have one
- 36:13Speaker 3: of the best defenses of all time.
- 36:15Speaker 2: And you were there to get into witness.
- 36:17Speaker 5: So is this relevant because Farv and the other dude
- 36:22Speaker 5: were they playing football at the same time, just just
- 36:25Speaker 5: because he was Farv was retired.
- 36:28Speaker 4: I think the reason he has is because he's throwing
- 36:31Speaker 4: him a bone.
- 36:31Speaker 5: Ye, well I got that.
- 36:32Speaker 4: And then he was in a tree stand.
- 36:34Speaker 2: He was in a tree stand. He was hunting. Yeah,
- 36:36Speaker 2: he was all over like tree stands don't make it
- 36:38Speaker 2: on sports to help with gaps.
- 36:40Speaker 5: In my in my media coverage.

- 38:34Speaker 2: Mind is everybody ready, come on call.
- 38:37Speaker 9: You're a big bird hunter.
- 38:40Speaker 4: He's taught them. He's taught them.

- 38:46Speaker 2: till his I didn't, Cal, how are we doing?
- 38:54Speaker 5: I got my last batch of turkey stock on the
- 38:57Speaker 5: stove right now, I got turkey thighs.
- 38:59Speaker 4: And wings in the suv, by which Brodie meant to say, Hey, Cal,
- 39:03Speaker 4: I thought I thought you were a big bird hunter.
- 39:05Speaker 4: But I'm not a big enough bird hunter. He doesn't
- 39:09Speaker 4: like it quite enough.
- 39:11Speaker 2: When you label your stock, you don't put the order
- 39:13Speaker 2: name on theready.
- 39:14Speaker 4: He doesn't really like it that much.
- 39:16Speaker 2: After all this, Bill, how we doing?

- 39:43Speaker 4: don't have to spell it right.
- 39:44Speaker 2: The correct answer is galliforms. Got it right? This is
- 39:50Speaker 2: not count galliations. You know I'm gonna have to look
- 39:52Speaker 2: it up, Brodie. I look it up. Listen, Brodie, I
- 39:56Speaker 2: just said I would look it up for you. Let
- 39:59Speaker 2: me read you, let me do ned you the fact
- 40:02Speaker 2: the galliform order is made up of about three hundred
- 40:06Speaker 2: species that are broken up into five families. Besides those
- 40:09Speaker 2: game birds, some of the other Galliforms are chickens, guineas,
- 40:13Speaker 2: and peacocks. The birds in this order are known for
- 40:16Speaker 2: their elaborate courtship, minimal migrations, and their ability to escape
- 40:20Speaker 2: predators by running instead of flying. Because I like that
- 40:26Speaker 2: little minimal migration to very little migration for them. What
- 40:29Speaker 2: do you got here? We go?
- 40:30Speaker 9: Galliforms are an order of heavy body ground feeding birds
- 40:33Speaker 9: Turkey's chickens. Yeah, gallinaceous birds as they are called, are
- 40:36Speaker 9: important in their egos.

- 40:40Speaker 2: to your Brody. Well done a deep cut there to get.
- 40:45Speaker 4: Just reading down there. He's like galliforms otherwise known as gallinations.

- 40:55Speaker 2: to Brody. And we have two questions left. Where does
- 40:57Speaker 2: the leader board sit? Point out that Brody is now
- 41:00Speaker 2: sitting on two Are you kidding me? You're sitting on
- 41:04Speaker 2: two big asterisks.
- 41:06Speaker 9: Gallinacious birds as they are.
- 41:08Speaker 4: Called listen, that is not an agency that you wrote.
- 41:15Speaker 2: Phil hit us with the scoreboard update.
- 41:18Speaker 11: Hayden and Bill are out of the running for the victory,

- 41:26Speaker 11: points a piece, Brody has six, and in first place
- 41:29Speaker 11: its Stephen Ronella with seven points.
- 41:32Speaker 5: I want to point out that I knew there was
- 41:35Speaker 5: going to be this easy football question, and so at
- 41:38Speaker 5: the beginning of the episode, I was asking mister Wolfe,
- 41:40Speaker 5: I said, what position do you play? What team did
- 41:42Speaker 5: you play?
- 41:43Speaker 10: For him?
- 41:44Speaker 6: What sport do you play?
- 41:45Speaker 4: And I was trying, okay, I mean he thought the
- 41:49Speaker 4: bone was going to be what team did you play?

- 42:14Speaker 2: This is the only state that lists the blue crab
- 42:17Speaker 2: as their official state crustacean. This is question nine, meaning
- 42:21Speaker 2: we have one question left after this a very confident room.
- 42:26Speaker 4: No, okay, just not gonna do a whole lot of
- 42:28Speaker 4: good sit thinking about too long.

- 43:22Speaker 2: who's famous for blonde hair and kissing fish, was inducted
- 43:26Speaker 2: into the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame in nineteen ninety.
- 43:33Speaker 2: Brody and Steve both looking at each other. It appears
- 43:37Speaker 2: as though they both know it. Here's the question again.
- 43:40Speaker 2: This angler, who's famous for blonde hair and kissing Fish
- 43:44Speaker 2: was inducted into the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame
