• 0:08
Speaker 1: Let me tell you something about FanDuel real quick. In life,
• 0:11
Speaker 1: people give us, they make promises. They say they're going
• 0:13
Speaker 1: to do something for you. And then sometimes it's 50-50.
• 0:15
Speaker 1: Do they show up for you? Do they not? FanDuel
• 0:18
Speaker 1: has said in the beginning of the year that this
• 0:20
Speaker 1: is going to be your most rewarding season yet. And
• 0:22
Speaker 1: my God, have they done it. Because people who watch
• 0:24
Speaker 1: this YouTube channel, and put their Twitter username in the
• 0:28
Speaker 1: comment section can be selected to win bonus bets. We
• 0:31
Speaker 1: got winners this week. Let's take a little peeky-boo at
• 0:33
Speaker 1: that right there. This week's winner, Arkano, RJ. Congratulations. Round
• 0:37
Speaker 1: of applause. We got Dover Lai on there as well.
• 0:41
Speaker 1: And Jake... Sidorsky, these three individuals, all they did was
• 0:44
Speaker 1: comment their ex Twitter based on if you're a boomer
• 0:47
Speaker 1: or whatever. I don't know what the kids are saying nowadays.
• 0:49
Speaker 1: Put it below in the comment section. You do that.
• 0:51
Speaker 1: Vandal's going to pick three of you guys to win
• 0:53
Speaker 1: bonus bets. So let's get right into it. Got my
• 0:56
Speaker 1: little tokens right here. My Plinko board. I thought I
• 0:58
Speaker 1: was figuring it out. I've slowed down. Last week I
• 1:01
Speaker 1: slowed down a little bit. Looking at a thousand. Sorry,
• 1:04
Speaker 1: a hundred, a thousand, five hundred, a thousand, two fifty
• 1:06
Speaker 1: in a reroll. We're going to start with Gomer Lyle
• 1:08
Speaker 1: right here. Come on, Gomer! The $ 100, $ 100 for Gomer Wilde.
• 1:17
Speaker 1: That's free money. That's free money. I got to do
• 1:20
Speaker 1: better by you, Gomer. That's not fangirl. That's me. That's
• 1:22
Speaker 1: my fault. I'll do better on this one right here.
• 1:24
Speaker 1: Jake Sidorski. Moving that thing over just a smidge. Do
• 1:28
Speaker 1: you see that right there? Here we go. $ 1, 000. That's
• 1:33
Speaker 1: how you figure out the board. That's how you figure
• 1:36
Speaker 1: out the board. And last but not least, Arcano RJ.
• 1:40
Speaker 1: Come on. A little bit of it left. $ 5!
• 1:44
  Speaker 2: $ 1, 600.

• 3:18
Speaker 3: Yeah, he read the ad read off the card.
• 3:21
Speaker 1: Oh, you told him already? Yeah. All right.
• 3:23
Speaker 3: I'll talk to him. That's his hang.
• 3:27
Speaker 1: That's the first thing he said. Well, really just to me.
• 3:31
Speaker 1: I don't know if he even said to you. He said,
• 3:32
Speaker 1: I need a little more enthusiasm.
• 3:35
Speaker 3: He said, you got to feel it.
• 3:36
Speaker 1: Dude, I feel it. But I also feel my eyes
• 3:38
Speaker 1: doing this the entire time. And the whole reading debacle.
• 3:41
Speaker 1: We talked about that.
• 3:42
Speaker 3: I don't think he knows about your condition.
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: Yeah, he doesn't. Self-diagnosed dyslexic.
• 3:48
Speaker 3: But you're walking down the road a little ways.
• 3:50
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we're moving.
• 3:51
  Speaker 3: You're getting there.
• 3:52
Speaker 1: If you just give me the opt to read it
• 3:53
Speaker 1: a couple of times, I can get you through it.
• 3:55
Speaker 1: I can get you through it and roll it. I
• 3:56
Speaker 1: did mention this. LSU Clemson, first week of Bustin' and
• 4:00
Speaker 1: Paint on campus. They're like, Taylor, we need you to
• 4:02
Speaker 1: read these two things. My brain, the stadium pulse was through.
• 4:07
Speaker 1: It was at a 10. I'm like, all right, cool.
• 4:09
Speaker 1: Can I get those before? And they're like, oh, we'll
• 4:11
Speaker 1: just read. I was like, get them before, please. I
• 4:14
Speaker 1: was trying to be very respectful. Did you see their face?
• 4:17
Speaker 3: Because they said, we'll just read it live. And you said, no,
• 4:19
  Speaker 3: we won't.
• 4:22
Speaker 1: And I'm thinking to myself, these guys don't know. I'll
• 4:25
Speaker 1: ruin the show. I will ruin the show if this
• 4:27
Speaker 1: takes place. So I read it a couple of times
• 4:29
Speaker 1: and I end up reading it. And my brain, I'm like, hey,
• 4:31
Speaker 1: you kind of killed that for your first time, first show.
• 4:33
Speaker 1: Nerves are high for all of us. I have not
• 4:35
Speaker 1: read one of those since. Yeah, they've passed those on.
• 4:40
Speaker 1: So I hit my mark. Clearly there's a different mark
• 4:43
Speaker 1: that I don't know about in the reading world. So anyway.
• 4:47
Speaker 1: I haven't even thought about that. Yeah, trust me. They've
• 4:50
Speaker 1: been in Peyton's hands every time. This Friday, you'll tap
• 4:53
Speaker 1: me on the shoulder and be like, As he's reading,
• 4:55
Speaker 1: sorry for the interruptions. We just want you to know.
• 4:57
Speaker 1: And he's reading it.
• 5:01
  Speaker 3: It's a thing that 99 times out of a hundred,
• 5:04
Speaker 3: they'll never have to use because the whole point of
• 5:06
Speaker 3: it is we're reading an emergency to break in case
• 5:09
  Speaker 3: of technical difficulties.
• 5:11
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 5:11
Speaker 3: And we've been in sunny conditions. And by the way,
• 5:13
Speaker 3: until this week, we got it. We got an issue.
• 5:15
Speaker 3: I just realized this this morning. We've just gone regular
• 5:18
Speaker 3: white or black t-shirt at every show.
• 5:20
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 5:21
Speaker 3: Thinking that it would always be 75 degrees for the
• 5:23
Speaker 3: rest of our lives. Not this Friday and not this Saturday.
• 5:27
  Speaker 1: What is it?
• 5:28
Speaker 3: It's like rainy. It's like raw. It's in the fifties.
• 5:32
  Speaker 3: Spooky weather.
• 5:33
Speaker 1: Spooky weather. Cause it's Spooktober.
• 5:34
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 5:35
Speaker 1: You see it. It's going to be, it's.
• 5:36
Speaker 3: Going to be big tennis. It's going to be really
• 5:38
  Speaker 3: big tennis temperatures.
• 5:42
Speaker 2: Question for you. Oh, last week. I mean, you had
• 5:45
Speaker 2: a run on the weather channel. It seemed to have
• 5:51
Speaker 2: done what you said it wasn't going to do, which
• 5:54
Speaker 2: is rain a lot of the majority.
• 5:56
Speaker 1: Of the game. So hold on real quick. Let's just
• 5:58
Speaker 1: put a pin in that because what you just did, Will,
• 6:01
Speaker 1: is you just looked Josh Bate in the eyes and said, basically,
• 6:03
  Speaker 1: you were wrong.
• 6:04
Speaker 2: Now, how he acts right now, we've got to be very,
• 6:10
Speaker 2: we've got to be controlled about how, because we had
• 6:13
Speaker 2: to massage him into this.
• 6:14
Speaker 1: He was wrong. the weather wasn't effective again. Because he
• 6:18
Speaker 1: said it was going to be dry. Yeah, he said
• 6:20
Speaker 1: it was going to be dry. By that time, it
• 6:21
Speaker 1: would be north. through the East. He talked about the
• 6:24
Speaker 1: thing that went over. But sorry, I just wanted to
• 6:27
Speaker 1: make sure you knew what you were doing. And if
• 6:29
Speaker 1: he were to snap at you. He's doing the finger
• 6:31
Speaker 1: thing too. My old man used to do that before
• 6:33
Speaker 1: he started. Dude, his computer's got a quiver coming at
• 6:36
Speaker 1: some point. My old man, you'd see his fingers start
• 6:39
Speaker 1: to quiver and you knew it was a, you know. Yeah, better. Yeah,
• 6:42
Speaker 1: he'd get that quick twitch in you real quick. Move
• 6:44
Speaker 1: a little bit. And you're closer. That's not for this show.
• 6:47
Speaker 1: This is a family show. This is a family show, absolutely.
• 6:51
Speaker 1: But that's a trigger movement that you're doing right there, so.
• 6:54
Speaker 1: I'm ready to listen.
• 6:55
Speaker 3: Spooky. You need to explain something to you. Ginger Zee
• 6:57
Speaker 3: didn't explain to you. CFP is classification of precipitation in meteorology.
• 7:04
Speaker 3: Rain and mist are two different classifications of precipitation. So
• 7:08
Speaker 3: the classification of precipitation that we were talking about, as
• 7:12
Speaker 3: you well know, was rain. Okay, the rain was gone.
• 7:16
Speaker 1: I've been saying this the whole time.
• 7:17
Speaker 3: The rain was out. I landed in Tuscaloosa in the
• 7:20
Speaker 3: middle of the afternoon and the rain was already gone.
• 7:22
Speaker 3: There was some mist the rest of the night, but
• 7:24
Speaker 3: there was not a single classical raindrop that fell the
• 7:28
Speaker 3: entire evening. If you're trying to say that Kirby Smart
• 7:32
Speaker 3: only won that game because it was raining, then shame
• 7:35
  Speaker 3: on you.
• 7:36
Speaker 2: No, it's called redirection. Hey, you didn't see that coming,
• 7:41
Speaker 2: did you? No, he's wrong for that. I've had Georgia
• 7:43
Speaker 2: top of the game since week two.
• 7:45
  Speaker 3: Yeah, you did.
• 7:45
Speaker 1: I think two of the three people at this table
• 7:47
Speaker 1: right now picked Georgia to win the game. Understood that
• 7:49
Speaker 1: Georgia was going to win this game.
• 7:51
  Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 7:52
Speaker 2: Now we're just talking about Georgia-Bama. All I wanted to
• 7:54
Speaker 2: talk about was it seemed like there was some weather
• 7:55
Speaker 2: that was taking place.
• 7:56
Speaker 1: Yeah, you popped it on and you watched the game
• 7:58
Speaker 1: and it seemed like, oh, it seems like weather seemed
• 8:00
Speaker 1: it would be a bit of a factor.
• 8:01
Speaker 3: You know what else I did?
• 8:02
Speaker 1: A couple drops out there I saw too. A couple connotations.
• 8:04
Speaker 1: A couple guys like this and go, and then I
• 8:05
  Speaker 1: saw a mouth.
• 8:06
  Speaker 3: Hey, it's wet.
• 8:07
Speaker 1: That's what I saw some players say.
• 8:08
Speaker 3: But not raining. Just wet.
• 8:10
  Speaker 1: Just wet.
• 8:10
  Speaker 3: Big difference.
• 8:11
  Speaker 4: Okay.
• 8:11
Speaker 3: You were talking to Brian Haynes, defensive coordinator of Indiana
• 8:14
Speaker 3: before the game in Lincoln.
• 8:16
Speaker 1: And I will say he did not seem very enthused
• 8:18
Speaker 1: to talk to me at all.
• 8:19
  Speaker 3: Really?
• 8:19
Speaker 1: Similar to Kurt Cignetti, but continue.
• 8:20
Speaker 3: He looked pretty happy to me.
• 8:22
Speaker 1: They were locked in. They were locked in. They were
• 8:24
  Speaker 1: locked in.
• 8:25
Speaker 3: Well, that's the way they are. They're not human pregame.
• 8:28
  Speaker 1: No, they're not.
• 8:28
Speaker 3: Yeah, no one at Indiana is human. Almost inhuman when
• 8:30
Speaker 3: they operate. But remember, I walked up and he was
• 8:33
Speaker 3: looking around because the field goal kickers were warming up
• 8:35
Speaker 3: next to us. And those things were drawing like it
• 8:38
Speaker 3: was a pinball game. And I said, hey, low key,
• 8:41
Speaker 3: it's going to be more windy here than it is
• 8:44
Speaker 3: at the Alabama game, even though everyone's focused on a
• 8:46
Speaker 3: tropical storm down there in the south. And it was
• 8:49
Speaker 3: windy all day. It was windy all day in Nebraska.
• 8:51
Speaker 3: It was dry. It was upper 80s. It was nice,
• 8:53
Speaker 3: but it was windy. I don't know if that came
• 8:55
Speaker 3: through on TV, but.
• 8:56
Speaker 1: It was windy. You needed that field goal before halftime.
• 8:58
Speaker 1: We needed that field goal before halftime. Yeah.
• 9:01
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 9:02
Speaker 1: God, I hate it for you so much, dude. It's okay.
• 9:04
  Speaker 2: Listen.
• 9:05
Speaker 1: Here's my problem. And I was talking to you right
• 9:07
Speaker 1: before the show about this. I got into a mode of,
• 9:10
Speaker 1: I'm going to spend 72 hours. I'm going to support
• 9:12
Speaker 1: my boy clearly, but I'm just going to bleed. I'm
• 9:14
  Speaker 1: gonna GBR. Yep.
• 9:15
Speaker 2: Every 24 hours I got closer, I could feel the
• 9:18
Speaker 2: level of excitement with.
• 9:19
Speaker 1: All the whole squad. The whole squad. So much so
• 9:22
Speaker 1: that I'm kind of looking at you like, hey, I
• 9:24
Speaker 1: want you to come with us. But a man that's
• 9:26
Speaker 1: been forged in fire before has understand the trials and
• 9:28
Speaker 1: tribulations that has been Nebraska for the past decade. You're
• 9:31
Speaker 1: looking at me like, just, we can't say nothing. We
• 9:33
Speaker 1: can't do nothing. So much so that we're not doing
• 9:35
Speaker 1: rat poison on a YouTube show because you know Kurt
• 9:39
Speaker 1: Cignetti's media team is going to see it. I'm out
• 9:42
Speaker 1: here flying. Which by the way. Yes, go ahead.
• 9:44
Speaker 2: The media team came up and he was having a
• 9:46
Speaker 2: good laugh about it. He's like, I was watching your show.
• 9:48
Speaker 2: You did a good job not giving any rat poison.
• 9:50
Speaker 1: We were combing the show. Very aware. So we couldn't
• 9:53
Speaker 1: turn it around within 24 hours. I spent 72 hours
• 9:56
Speaker 1: diving in and being a part of the Nebraska culture.
• 9:58
Speaker 1: I get back out of it I'm like, all right,
• 9:59
Speaker 1: that was fun. I had a good time. Ain't no
• 10:02
Speaker 1: way they're going to beat Oregon in Autzen in 10 p.m.,
• 10:07
Speaker 1: all this, Dan Lanning. But I sit here on a Wednesday,
• 10:10
Speaker 1: and it's not in our sheet. We're not going to
• 10:11
Speaker 1: talk about this game very much. Oh, it'll come up.
• 10:15
Speaker 1: But I sit here and I'm like, Nebraska's probably going
• 10:20
Speaker 1: to win, right? Like there's a, like that Nebraska, what's
• 10:23
Speaker 1: it called? It's the Husker. What was the thing? The Roulade.
• 10:27
Speaker 1: The Roulade just being like zoned into the Husker. I
• 10:31
Speaker 1: guess like I get Husker lenses and I see the environment.
• 10:34
Speaker 1: I see the people. I see Colangelo with the point.
• 10:36
Speaker 1: I don't want to talk about his stats after the point,
• 10:38
Speaker 1: but still a point nonetheless. And I'm like, dude, they
• 10:42
Speaker 1: could beat Oregon at Oregon. And I don't know if
• 10:45
Speaker 1: that's a derivative of being a Nebraska fan.
• 10:48
Speaker 2: I think you just saw a good football team play
• 10:50
Speaker 2: some good football for three and a half quarters. And
• 10:53
Speaker 2: a couple plays, the four explosives. You saw the two
• 10:55
Speaker 2: and the fourth, the fourth and one, the big play
• 10:58
Speaker 2: to Marsh after the point. Like you saw a good
• 11:00
Speaker 2: football team play some good football. Yeah. To where it's
• 11:02
Speaker 2: like you'll learn everything you need to know about, you know,
• 11:06
Speaker 2: how this team responds going into Oregon this week. Because
• 11:08
Speaker 2: it's going to be a tough spot. Like that emotional dump.
• 11:11
Speaker 2: after wanting that game so badly. We were around some
• 11:15
Speaker 2: of the staff and players after the game, like walking
• 11:18
Speaker 2: down the tunnel and everything else. I mean, it was
• 11:22
Speaker 2: brutal that we gave that game away and lost. I
• 11:24
Speaker 2: heard a guy lay an F-bomb seven times in a row.
• 11:26
Speaker 2: He wasn't talking to nobody. He was just yelling in the.
• 11:28
Speaker 1: Tunnel the F-words. Holgerson, the Cholers, just they won.
• 11:32
Speaker 2: Everybody won. That was supposed to be it. And so
• 11:35
Speaker 2: you take that into account. Now you've got to go
• 11:37
Speaker 2: out to Eugene. Eugene is in absolute– you have to
• 11:40
Speaker 2: win out the rest of the season, the rest.
• 11:42
Speaker 1: Of the year. Wounded animal mode.
• 11:45
  Speaker 3: Wounded duck mode.
• 11:46
Speaker 1: Wounded duck mode. And you're going out there at 10 p.m.
• 11:49
  Speaker 1: What's going on?
• 11:50
Speaker 3: Maintain, maintain, maintain. Finish your sentence.
• 11:52
Speaker 2: You're going out there and having to play at 10 p.m.
• 11:55
Speaker 2: on Saturday night. The way their time clock, the time
• 11:58
Speaker 2: that they end this game, is going to be 1
• 12:00
Speaker 2: in the morning in Lincoln. Yeah.
• 12:01
Speaker 3: Who do you play after, Oregon?
• 12:03
Speaker 1: We have a bye week.
• 12:04
Speaker 3: That's good. Okay, so don't worry about start time then.
• 12:06
  Speaker 1: Right.
• 12:06
Speaker 3: You said this is going to be a tough spot.
• 12:08
Speaker 3: Everyone agrees, oh, this is a tough spot for Nebraska.
• 12:11
Speaker 3: Is it not a really tough spot for Oregon?
• 12:14
Speaker 1: Oh, shit. Are you kidding me? Oh, this is scary.
• 12:27
Speaker 1: Is it not a tough spot for Morgan? This is
• 12:30
Speaker 1: a spooky time right now. What is happening? You jumped
• 12:38
Speaker 1: a little bit, Josh. You jumped a little bit.
• 12:40
Speaker 3: Well, that's mainly this.
• 12:41
Speaker 1: That's mainly that. All right, guys, we appreciate you. You
• 12:45
Speaker 1: had a show to do. We'll see you next time.
• 12:47
Speaker 1: Thank you very much. Shout out Spooktube, bro. Shout out
• 12:52
Speaker 1: Devil's Dungeon. For the ghouls, goblins, and specters for coming
• 12:56
Speaker 1: through and giving a little bit of a spook for
• 12:58
Speaker 1: us on a beautiful day.
• 12:59
  Speaker 3: All right.
• 13:00
Speaker 1: We'll see you guys.
• 13:01
Speaker 3: I wanted them to sign my pumpkin.
• 13:02
Speaker 1: We'll get there. Autographs and photos will be done later.
• 13:04
  Speaker 3: Okay, gotcha.
• 13:05
Speaker 1: He hasn't said a word. Are you so mad? What
• 13:10
Speaker 1: makes you so mad? I'm locked in. We're, you know,
• 13:13
Speaker 1: we're duck hunting this weekend. Okay. Should we take a
• 13:17
Speaker 1: look at the four-leader board? We obviously just did a
• 13:19
Speaker 1: whole intro on Nebraska.
• 13:20
  Speaker 3: Wait.
• 13:21
  Speaker 1: Go ahead.
• 13:21
Speaker 3: Is it not a tough week for Oregon?
• 13:23
Speaker 1: Yeah. Everybody just keeps.
• 13:24
Speaker 3: On saying, man, Nebraska's got to go to Oregon. Like,
• 13:28
Speaker 3: you were talking about this after the game. I had
• 13:31
Speaker 3: a Nebraska fan watch your Nebraska fan-only press conference and
• 13:34
Speaker 3: then tell me what you said because I wasn't allowed
• 13:36
Speaker 3: to watch it. Mm-hmm. And you said it right. It's
• 13:39
Speaker 3: a big difference between, well, we kind of kept it close,
• 13:42
Speaker 3: but we had to smoke and mirror our way to
• 13:45
Speaker 3: a near win versus, no, we had them beat and
• 13:47
Speaker 3: then we let them off the hook. That feels a
• 13:48
Speaker 3: lot different when you're coming out of that game. Even
• 13:50
Speaker 3: if you're not a player, just a fan. Everybody who
• 13:53
Speaker 3: watched Nebraska last week knows that's a little bit different
• 13:56
  Speaker 3: feeling of loss. That's a loss you're not... You're not
• 13:59
Speaker 3: encouraged because you lost. You're encouraged the style of game
• 14:03
Speaker 3: you played can be duplicated on the road. And then
• 14:07
Speaker 3: Oregon's got all kinds of issues. You know what they'd
• 14:10
Speaker 3: love to have right now? Anthony Calandria. Oregon would love to.
• 14:12
Speaker 1: Have that right now.
• 14:14
Speaker 3: By the way, do we know who they're starting at
• 14:15
  Speaker 3: quarterback this year?
• 14:16
  Speaker 1: We don't.
• 14:17
Speaker 2: I tried, you know. I tried hitting my source, the
• 14:20
Speaker 2: only source I know at Oregon, to say, hey.
• 14:22
Speaker 3: It's a pretty good one, though.
• 14:23
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. It's the craziest source to reach out to
• 14:25
Speaker 1: when you're a fan of the opposite team. I was
• 14:26
Speaker 1: explaining last night, like, hey, who are you starting to
• 14:28
Speaker 1: keep using? You can tell me. Send him a Drewski
• 14:31
Speaker 1: meme with it where he's like, and, you know, he
• 14:34
Speaker 1: didn't give me anything. He just put LOL. Hey, he responded.
• 14:39
Speaker 1: He responded. He knows what type of week it is.
• 14:42
Speaker 2: He knows how he's laughing at me in the offseason
• 14:45
Speaker 2: about this game. He ain't laughing anymore.
• 14:47
  Speaker 1: 21 and a half.
• 14:48
Speaker 3: Point favorite at that point.
• 14:49
  Speaker 1: We're talking about a downfall.
• 14:52
Speaker 2: No, I'm just saying, like, I'm saying more of the
• 14:55
Speaker 2: assumption of what Nebraska was. Oregon was 23 and a
• 14:58
Speaker 2: half point favorites before the year started. People laugh at Nebraska. Now,
• 15:02
Speaker 2: to your point, this is a fucking tough football game.
• 15:04
Speaker 1: The difference in this game and other games before is
• 15:07
Speaker 1: Nebraska was in the driver's seat the entire game with Indiana.
• 15:10
Speaker 1: Indiana won for 10 on third downs. They had the ball,
• 15:13
Speaker 1: I think, a third of the time that Nebraska had
• 15:15
Speaker 1: the ball. All the things, they're gone. Don't worry. As before,
• 15:20
Speaker 1: it's like, oh, they kept it close, but this team
• 15:23
Speaker 1: just kind of didn't play up to their standard. They
• 15:25
Speaker 1: played down to Nebraska. They played down to Nebraska as
• 15:28
Speaker 1: opposed to. Nebraska set the tone, and up until the
• 15:31
Speaker 1: very last minute, Indiana couldn't really keep up. which is,
• 15:34
Speaker 1: you should be very excited for. Oh yeah, I am.
• 15:37
Speaker 1: All right, this Ford leaderboard segment is presented by, you
• 15:40
Speaker 1: guessed it, Ford. A hard day's work starts with one thing,
• 15:43
Speaker 1: someone willing to do it. And where there's a will,
• 15:46
Speaker 1: there's a Ford F-Series truck. This is the Ford leaderboard.
• 15:50
Speaker 1: Let's take a look at the Ford leaderboard. Things that
• 15:52
Speaker 1: are extremely impressive. Will Compton, coming back up. It might
• 15:58
Speaker 1: be as impressive as Josh being up 40 units. 40 units.
• 16:04
Speaker 1: Closer to 41 than you are 40.
• 16:06
Speaker 2: Hey, check out this. Obviously, gambling, I lost. But if
• 16:11
Speaker 2: I hit, if that money line... hit for Nebraska, I
• 16:15
Speaker 2: would have had a plus 24 unit weekend.
• 16:18
Speaker 1: Nothing to write home about. I'm laying the papers down
• 16:20
Speaker 1: like I'm excited, but I lost. Once again, hey, you
• 16:24
Speaker 1: were in the driver's seat. It's you are Nebraska of
• 16:27
Speaker 1: the locker room right now. I started to point at
• 16:29
Speaker 1: the sports book, and then they hit me on a
• 16:31
Speaker 1: fucking 75-yard ball. And then statistically, things just went back
• 16:34
Speaker 1: and forth. Nick Marsh had to come from the shadows
• 16:37
Speaker 1: and handle business on a slant real quick.
• 16:39
Speaker 3: Because I saw you over there going like this to
• 16:42
Speaker 3: your phone. I thought you were FaceTiming someone. You were
• 16:44
Speaker 3: just pointing at the vandal lab.
• 16:45
Speaker 1: That's all you were doing. Okay.
• 16:46
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 16:46
Speaker 1: I think that's the thing that's most concerning here. Will
• 16:49
Speaker 1: has made massive traction. If you were to come down
• 16:51
Speaker 1: and watch the show for the first time, it's like, oh,
• 16:53
Speaker 1: Will Compton, not doing very well. Will's doing... extremely well
• 16:56
Speaker 1: the last couple of weeks.
• 16:56
Speaker 3: People thought minus 50 was on the table with the
• 16:59
Speaker 3: way the season started.
• 17:00
Speaker 1: The way he was talking was I'm trying to get
• 17:02
Speaker 1: to minus 50. Like he reversed psychology himself. I'm at
• 17:05
Speaker 1: plus 10. It's gone now. I don't know where it went.
• 17:08
Speaker 1: I'm at plus 10 and it feels like I'm kind
• 17:10
Speaker 1: of just, I'm walking in place right now. You're just
• 17:14
Speaker 1: there right now. Like, oh shit, Josh, plus 40. Yeah,
• 17:17
Speaker 1: I'm three and two in my picks, but my parlay
• 17:19
Speaker 1: doesn't hit. I got to figure out a way that
• 17:21
Speaker 1: we start taking steps forward, not just being complacent where
• 17:24
Speaker 1: we need to be.
• 17:24
  Speaker 3: Let's go strategies.
• 17:25
Speaker 1: But overall, plus 40. What's the game plan for the
• 17:28
Speaker 1: rest of the season?
• 17:29
Speaker 3: Well, I could just sit on it and go one unit. Okay.
• 17:32
Speaker 3: But that's not fun.
• 17:33
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 17:34
Speaker 3: Or I could go for 80. Go for 100.
• 17:37
Speaker 1: I mean, where we're at right now, like triple digits
• 17:40
Speaker 1: is on the table.
• 17:41
Speaker 3: It is on the table.
• 17:42
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 17:42
Speaker 3: Of course, history says, actually, forget history.
• 17:46
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 17:47
Speaker 3: Forget history. Forget history. No, no, no, no. Yeah, we're
• 17:49
  Speaker 3: going for 80.
• 17:50
Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. Forget history. Forget history. That's in the rearview mirror.
• 17:53
Speaker 1: And I was just at your truck. There is no
• 17:54
Speaker 1: rearview mirror in your truck.
• 17:55
  Speaker 3: No, there's not.
• 17:56
Speaker 1: Yeah, there's only a big-ass windshield. We only look forward.
• 17:58
Speaker 3: We only look forward.
• 17:59
Speaker 1: Let's get into the games, boys. What do you say?
• 18:01
Speaker 1: Anything else on Nebraska before? No, no, no, no. You
• 18:03
Speaker 1: feel good? I feel great. Only thing, yeah, forget history.
• 18:06
Speaker 1: Forget the last 10 years.
• 18:09
  Speaker 3: Nothing exists.
• 18:10
  Speaker 1: Nothing exists.
• 18:10
Speaker 3: Forget the last 10 years. Page one today.
• 18:12
Speaker 1: Yeah. Missouri at Ole Miss. Ole Miss is favored by
• 18:17
Speaker 1: six and a half points. The total in this game
• 18:19
Speaker 1: is 58 and a half. How are we feeling, fellas?
• 18:25
Speaker 3: Well, this game shouldn't be on SEC Network, first off.
• 18:29
Speaker 1: Drink said it. Drink said it. They got networked.
• 18:33
Speaker 3: He turned it into a verb. They got networked.
• 18:35
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 18:36
Speaker 3: Yeah, so this has five Chalai Classic written all over it.
• 18:41
Speaker 1: Talk to me. How high does the Chalai go? Five. Wow.
• 18:43
Speaker 3: Yeah, this has Classic written all over it. Just a
• 18:46
Speaker 3: couple of weeks ago, Missouri went to Mississippi State, and
• 18:50
Speaker 3: I thought that was the game of the week. And
• 18:52
Speaker 3: that was, but that was at a former life when
• 18:54
Speaker 3: Austin Simmons had no interceptions. Now he's throwing a pick.
• 18:58
Speaker 1: No. Yeah. He was turned over. And if we had,
• 19:01
Speaker 1: if we go back in time, I know we don't
• 19:02
Speaker 1: look at history, but I know somebody on this show
• 19:04
Speaker 1: said he's due for one. Yep.
• 19:06
Speaker 3: And then someone else on this show said, Yeah, he's
• 19:08
Speaker 3: probably going to throw a pick that tips off a
• 19:10
Speaker 3: receiver in some shape, form, or fashion. And congrats to
• 19:14
  Speaker 3: both of us.
• 19:14
Speaker 1: That line doesn't say that.
• 19:15
Speaker 3: Congrats to both of us.
• 19:18
Speaker 1: I will say I was fired up when I saw
• 19:20
Speaker 1: that he threw it. And I like Austin Simmons. You're
• 19:23
Speaker 1: an Austin Simmons guy. You turned me into a hater
• 19:25
Speaker 1: of Austin Simmons, and I'm not. I just wanted to
• 19:27
Speaker 1: be right about this one moment. Unfortunately, he had to
• 19:29
Speaker 1: be the body that took place.
• 19:31
Speaker 3: I'm an Austin Simmons guy. I was thrilled when he
• 19:33
Speaker 3: threw that interception. Those are the two thoughts that you're
• 19:36
Speaker 3: trying to convey here.
• 19:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think I landed that plane nicely.
• 19:38
Speaker 3: Yeah, both of them landed.
• 19:39
Speaker 1: When Taylor found out he threw a pick when we
• 19:40
Speaker 1: were getting on the plane, he's like, oh, Austin's in.
• 19:42
Speaker 1: He's like, I told you. Got him. I told you.
• 19:45
Speaker 1: Then Clifford, somebody was like, hey, it was a tip ball.
• 19:47
Speaker 1: He's like, he still threw one. We were doing the
• 19:49
Speaker 1: college football recap on Monday and I was spouting off
• 19:52
Speaker 1: clearly you heard it because I got some text messages
• 19:54
  Speaker 1: from you.
• 19:54
Speaker 3: You didn't get a text. You got a video.
• 19:56
Speaker 1: A video. A video from you. And as I'm being like,
• 19:59
Speaker 1: Austin Simmons, I said it. I called it crystal ball Louie.
• 20:02
Speaker 1: And Mitch is under his breath like, it bounced off
• 20:04
Speaker 1: the wide receiver's chest. And I'm like, I ignore them
• 20:06
Speaker 1: in the moment, but I definitely registered all of it
• 20:09
Speaker 1: at the same time. It was just nice to be
• 20:12
Speaker 1: right once in a while, you know?
• 20:13
Speaker 3: Good quarterback matchup here, right? There's a lot of talk
• 20:15
  Speaker 3: about quarterbacks.
• 20:16
Speaker 1: This is a great quarterback matchup.
• 20:17
Speaker 3: It could be one of the quarterback matchups of the year.
• 20:19
Speaker 3: It feels like we've said that a few times in
• 20:20
Speaker 3: the SEC, but they've got some good quarterbacks.
• 20:22
Speaker 1: But this one is, though.
• 20:23
Speaker 3: All of them have.
• 20:24
Speaker 1: Trinidad Chambliss, Austin Simmons.
• 20:26
Speaker 2: You're going to be in Ole Miss, the spot that
• 20:28
Speaker 2: you ended up leaving, looking across the sideline against the
• 20:32
Speaker 2: cat that ended up taking your job.
• 20:34
Speaker 1: This is a huge game. Took your home away from you.
• 20:36
  Speaker 1: Took your family.
• 20:36
  Speaker 3: Yes.
• 20:37
Speaker 1: Massive game. Listen, Ole Miss being 24-1 at home and
• 20:42
Speaker 1: Trinidad Chambliss never losing a game at home as he's
• 20:44
Speaker 1: been the star. Jamal Roberts, 200-plus yard games. I think,
• 20:48
Speaker 1: was that three weeks in a row? Two weeks in
• 20:51
Speaker 1: a row. Only person to do that, Henry, Fernette, and Bowden. Like,
• 20:55
Speaker 1: they're going to run the football. And as much as
• 20:57
Speaker 1: we are excited about Ole Miss and their front seven, like,
• 20:59
Speaker 1: that's the strength because they got the big guys in
• 21:00
Speaker 1: the middle. Like, the way Missouri runs the football in
• 21:03
Speaker 1: the outside zone, like, they're going to get these guys
• 21:05
Speaker 1: east to west quite a bit. To where it's like, oh,
• 21:08
Speaker 1: that with the way Austin Simmons is playing with those
• 21:10
Speaker 1: two wide receivers, you feel like it's going to be
• 21:12
Speaker 1: close because Ole Miss' defense, from the run standpoint, we
• 21:15
Speaker 1: thought was going to be phenomenal this year. They're bottom
• 21:17
Speaker 1: in the SEC. So for me, when I look at
• 21:19
Speaker 1: this game, Two things can be true. I think Ole
• 21:23
Speaker 1: Miss wins this game. I think there's a lot of
• 21:25
Speaker 1: ways for Missouri to keep this game close and to
• 21:28
Speaker 1: be in it towards the end. There's also a world
• 21:30
Speaker 1: we can live in where we get all shell-shocked and
• 21:32
Speaker 1: be like, oh yeah, Missouri is not a contender in
• 21:34
Speaker 1: the SEC. And then Ole Miss does what they've done
• 21:36
Speaker 1: to plenty of teams and that's run up a score.
• 21:38
Speaker 1: People can't compete. I tend to believe in drink at
• 21:40
Speaker 1: this point and a strong run game. So I'm going
• 21:43
Speaker 1: to take Missouri plus six and a half. I do
• 21:46
Speaker 1: believe Ole Miss will win. I think this is going
• 21:47
Speaker 1: to be close. I love the idea of five-challi game.
• 21:49
Speaker 1: I'll put three units on that.
• 21:50
  Speaker 3: Three units.
• 21:51
Speaker 1: Three units. Okay. And I do want to say there's
• 21:55
Speaker 1: very few games I'm confident about this week. Three units
• 21:58
Speaker 1: is kind of just where I want to put it
• 21:59
Speaker 1: because I need to make something shake in these units.
• 22:01
Speaker 3: Three is the new five.
• 22:02
Speaker 1: Three is the new one.
• 22:05
  Speaker 3: All right.
• 22:05
Speaker 1: Three is the new one.
• 22:06
Speaker 3: Makes all the sense in the world.
• 22:07
Speaker 1: Three is the new one for me. I love Mizzou here.
• 22:12
Speaker 1: I love Mizzou. A few weeks ago, we were talking about-
• 22:14
Speaker 1: You like Ole Miss.
• 22:16
  Speaker 3: Let him finish.
• 22:17
Speaker 1: He might, he might like Ole Miss. It's just the
• 22:18
Speaker 1: way the pause took place when he stared at you.
• 22:22
Speaker 2: We were talking a few weeks ago, like the thing
• 22:25
Speaker 2: that hadn't come along because it was just, it was
• 22:27
Speaker 2: mainly Austin Simmons. But the thing that hadn't come along
• 22:29
Speaker 2: was the run game. Like you look at Roberts now,
• 22:32
Speaker 2: a few weeks ago, it was all about Jaden Ball this,
• 22:33
Speaker 2: Jaden Ball that, like- Roberts, dude, he leads the SEC
• 22:38
Speaker 2: in rushing yards. He's got over 800. They have a
• 22:40
Speaker 2: run game. Ole Miss is abysmal against the run. Where
• 22:44
Speaker 2: my question mark is... is can Austin Simmons win with
• 22:50
Speaker 2: a lead when he's in a shootout against an offense?
• 22:53
Speaker 2: It's all about throwing the football. I love Mizzou when
• 22:56
Speaker 2: they are against run-first teams. But Ole Miss, especially at home,
• 23:00
Speaker 2: you talked about the record at home, and Trinidad-Chamberlain, I
• 23:03
Speaker 2: think that is where I'm just taking Mizzou with the
• 23:06
Speaker 2: points here because I'm getting real close to having that
• 23:10
Speaker 2: Mizzou money line and them winning outright because Mizzou has
• 23:12
Speaker 2: the makeup to make a run at the college football playoff.
• 23:16
Speaker 1: Like if they take care of Ole Miss here, like
• 23:18
Speaker 1: who are the teams that they have on their schedule?
• 23:20
Speaker 1: You got Texas. They still have Oklahoma. Who else do
• 23:24
Speaker 1: they have on their schedule? Yeah, they take care of
• 23:26
  Speaker 1: Ole Miss.
• 23:26
Speaker 3: I believe they play Georgia.
• 23:27
Speaker 1: Yeah, they play Georgia. But those teams, again, run first
• 23:32
  Speaker 1: football teams.
• 23:33
Speaker 2: To me, it comes down to Austin Simmons against, you know,
• 23:36
Speaker 2: the opposition being a passing attack. And where is he
• 23:39
Speaker 2: at when he has pressure on him? Because we saw
• 23:41
Speaker 2: him kind of sputter against Mississippi State at Mississippi State
• 23:44
Speaker 2: a few weeks ago. That's where my only question mark is.
• 23:46
Speaker 2: I like Mizzou plus six and a half here. I
• 23:48
Speaker 2: think they're going to be able to run the football.
• 23:50
Speaker 2: If Roberts is running at five yards a clip, especially
• 23:53
Speaker 2: if they went on early downs, I like them keeping
• 23:55
Speaker 2: Trinidad and that offense off.
• 23:56
Speaker 1: The field because they're explosive. Like Trinidad-Chambers is still a monster.
• 24:00
Speaker 2: It's just when I look at Ole Miss, how valuable–
• 24:04
Speaker 2: Is there LSU win now that we've seen LSU play?
• 24:07
Speaker 2: How valuable is that Louisville win now that we've seen
• 24:09
Speaker 2: Louisville play this year? They dominated Vanderbilt, but Vanderbilt has
• 24:13
Speaker 2: nobody really on that team. When they're trying to run
• 24:17
Speaker 2: the ball, this is a massive front to where they
• 24:21
Speaker 2: bullied Vandy. Like when you're seeing a split zone, the
• 24:23
Speaker 2: tight end's getting crushed damn near in the B gap.
• 24:26
Speaker 1: They have nowhere to go.
• 24:27
Speaker 2: To run the ball, they had to just do like
• 24:28
Speaker 2: jet sweeps and sweeps and options and everything else. Mizzou
• 24:32
Speaker 2: can run the football. They have a quarterback. They're very good.
• 24:35
Speaker 2: They're performing like a top 12 unit defensively in the country.
• 24:39
Speaker 1: I like Mizzou here with the points plus six and
• 24:41
Speaker 1: a half. Unit size. Oh, wow. I'm confident. I like
• 24:48
Speaker 1: Mizzou here with the points. He won Lacey back in
• 24:50
Speaker 1: the mix. Yeah, yeah.
• 24:53
Speaker 2: Dude, I mean, you watch them shut down ball. Like,
• 24:56
Speaker 2: this team stopping the run is very good. To me,
• 25:01
Speaker 2: it's Austin Simmons and Trinidad Chambliss. Can Austin Simmons keep
• 25:04
Speaker 2: that poise in the fourth quarter?
• 25:06
Speaker 3: I look at it as Trinidad Chambliss and Missouri's offense
• 25:09
Speaker 3: in totality. That's no knock on Kiwan Lacy, who, by
• 25:12
Speaker 3: the way, they're coming off a bye week two weeks ago.
• 25:14
Speaker 3: He only carried it seven times against Vandy. So he
• 25:17
Speaker 3: should be as healthy as you could reasonably be. at
• 25:20
Speaker 3: this time of year, but you were mentioning what Jamal
• 25:23
Speaker 3: Roberts has done, if that were happening for LSU, I
• 25:26
Speaker 3: think it'd be one of the stories of the year.
• 25:28
Speaker 3: Like if they had lost- He'd be in a Heisman conversation.
• 25:30
Speaker 3: If they had lost Ahmad Hardy or an Ahmad Hardy
• 25:32
Speaker 3: caliber player, and some guy was coming in going over
• 25:35
Speaker 3: 200 back-to-back weeks, doing stuff like you said, that very
• 25:38
Speaker 3: few guys in the last two decades have done in
• 25:40
Speaker 3: the SEC, that'd be a huge story. But since it's Missouri, nationally,
• 25:44
Speaker 3: it's not a huge story, but here we are here,
• 25:46
Speaker 3: so we can make it a huge story. So you're
• 25:49
Speaker 3: going against the run defense for Ole Miss in the 100s.
• 25:52
Speaker 3: So I trust that they can get theirs on the ground.
• 25:54
Speaker 3: Missouri's been very good at limiting teams on the ground.
• 25:58
Speaker 3: It's the fact that they're in the 90s in pass
• 26:00
Speaker 3: D is the reason I say Trinidad Chambliss probably has
• 26:03
Speaker 3: a lot more workload fall on his shoulders than Austin
• 26:06
Speaker 3: Simmons does. He can handle it. I'm not saying he
• 26:08
Speaker 3: can't handle it. I'm just saying if you have the
• 26:11
Speaker 3: facet that's dependable week to week, being the ground game,
• 26:14
Speaker 3: that leads me to believe you have the possibility of
• 26:16
Speaker 3: achieving a lot more offensive balance. It also leads me
• 26:19
Speaker 3: to believe you have the possibility of controlling the game
• 26:22
Speaker 3: a lot more. But even then, like there's so many
• 26:25
Speaker 3: different aspects of what Trinidad Chambliss can do to you
• 26:29
Speaker 3: that makes me think it's kind of one of those
• 26:31
Speaker 3: last teams with the ball type of games. So it's
• 26:34
Speaker 3: very simple to me. If you're giving me anything over
• 26:37
Speaker 3: really four, much less six and a half, I just
• 26:40
Speaker 3: take the underdog. I take Missouri plus six and a half.
• 26:42
Speaker 3: I'll go three units on that as well. That's about
• 26:44
Speaker 3: where my confidence level is. I thought about going with
• 26:47
Speaker 3: the over because I know that's going to be really
• 26:49
Speaker 3: tempting here. Man, if it's a Missouri game, if it's
• 26:53
Speaker 3: an Ole Miss game, forget about it. If it's a
• 26:55
Speaker 3: Missouri game, that probably coincides with them ball controlling you
• 26:58
Speaker 3: a little bit more than your mind thinks will happen.
• 27:02
Speaker 3: And we end up having a game in the low
• 27:04
Speaker 3: to mid 50s. So I'm going to just take the
• 27:07
Speaker 3: points from Missouri for three units.
• 27:09
Speaker 1: I really thought when you had that pause and stared
• 27:11
Speaker 1: at Will, I was like, oh, he is going with
• 27:13
  Speaker 1: Ole Miss.
• 27:13
Speaker 3: I'm working on my predictability. I thought there was going
• 27:15
Speaker 3: to be a table.
• 27:15
Speaker 1: Slap for Ole Miss on the horizon from Josh Pate.
• 27:19
Speaker 1: Ole Miss is a football team. He had three interceptions
• 27:21
Speaker 1: last year? Three or four. All of last year, he
• 27:23
Speaker 1: had three. He's had one in every single game this
• 27:26
Speaker 1: year other than Charlotte. Yeah. He's still probably the best quarterback.
• 27:29
Speaker 1: If you're looking at a quarterback from a Heisman standpoint,
• 27:31
Speaker 1: he's your guy. But there are smaller things that's like, oh, okay.
• 27:37
Speaker 1: Not as good as last year in this specific category.
• 27:41
Speaker 2: And, you know, obviously they'll be playing with a lighter
• 27:44
Speaker 2: box and get as many bodies in the pass game
• 27:46
Speaker 2: as possible. Because to your point, like they are, they're
• 27:48
Speaker 2: not that good statistically in pass defense. But it's like
• 27:52
Speaker 2: when you watch the Ole Miss tape, it's just mainly
• 27:54
Speaker 2: inside zone. They're just using the run game, but it's
• 27:57
Speaker 2: all Trinidad, which he is a baller.
• 28:00
Speaker 3: Top 15 team, Missouri top 15 team in havoc rate
• 28:02
  Speaker 3: this year.
• 28:03
  Speaker 2: But.
• 28:04
Speaker 3: That's going against a quarterback like Aaron Filo, where you
• 28:07
Speaker 3: pretty well know where he's going to be. Chambliss, affecting
• 28:10
Speaker 3: him is only part of the chore. You've got to
• 28:12
Speaker 3: get him on the ground. It's really hard to get
• 28:14
Speaker 3: him on the ground. But if you don't get him
• 28:15
Speaker 3: on the ground and you force some errant throws, like
• 28:17
Speaker 3: you said, who knows, maybe you steal a possession or two.
• 28:19
Speaker 2: And getting to him, too. I'm not saying that Mizzou
• 28:21
Speaker 2: doesn't have a pass rush. They do, but Trinidad just
• 28:24
Speaker 2: gets the ball out very fast. He knows what he's
• 28:25
Speaker 2: doing at all times.
• 28:26
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's almost like you'd rather contain rush him anyway
• 28:28
Speaker 1: and make him throw from the pocket as opposed to
• 28:30
Speaker 1: getting a free runner. where you can go and dance
• 28:33
Speaker 1: around and the back end breaks down. That's where he
• 28:35
Speaker 1: has his big explosive plays. Exciting game. Exciting slate overall.
• 28:40
Speaker 1: Notre Dame at BYU. First time since 2009 that game
• 28:45
Speaker 1: day is headed that way. Massive game team. Two top
• 28:48
Speaker 1: 10 teams. Right now, Notre Dame is favored minus 10.5
• 28:52
Speaker 1: at BYU, at Provo. How do you feel?
• 28:58
Speaker 2: To me, it's can BYU run the football? Can they
• 29:01
Speaker 2: win on early downs? Because that's what it's going to be.
• 29:02
Speaker 2: They're going to have to, it's going to be Bear.
• 29:05
Speaker 2: He's going to have to run. They don't have LJ Martin.
• 29:07
Speaker 2: That's a massive hit. Notre Dame is, dude, Notre Dame
• 29:10
Speaker 2: is nice. Defensively, like you can look at the Heisman
• 29:12
Speaker 2: candidates of Darian Mensah, Jeremiah Smith. All these guys are
• 29:16
Speaker 2: getting a lot of love because Notre Dame just doesn't
• 29:18
Speaker 2: have that tough of a schedule. So you're not necessarily
• 29:21
Speaker 2: seeing what CJ Carr's doing. But that dude has dialed
• 29:23
Speaker 2: the run games coming along. They got some guys coming
• 29:25
Speaker 2: to life on the outside at receiver for him. But
• 29:28
Speaker 2: this defense is just the real deal. So the only
• 29:32
Speaker 2: way BYU has a shot is if they can run
• 29:34
Speaker 2: the football. And Notre Dame's only given up like two
• 29:37
Speaker 2: rushing yards per attempt on the ground. Like they are
• 29:39
Speaker 2: so good. good top to bottom. Doesn't matter who's in there.
• 29:42
Speaker 2: They have depth. They have everything defensively. And I think,
• 29:45
Speaker 2: are they getting Leonard Moore back this week?
• 29:47
  Speaker 1: This weekend?
• 29:48
Speaker 3: Yeah, he should play. Don't quote me on that, but
• 29:49
Speaker 3: I believe he should play.
• 29:50
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 29:51
Speaker 2: Like, they're getting healthier. I know Kingston was out recently
• 29:54
Speaker 2: with an injury. But, dude, this dude, this team is
• 29:58
Speaker 2: very good. And they're finally going to be on a national–
• 30:00
Speaker 2: they're going to be in a national spotlight against BYU.
• 30:02
Speaker 2: Game day is going out there. It's the first– You know,
• 30:06
Speaker 2: this is the first game that Notre Dame will have
• 30:08
Speaker 2: to put on display for the country. BYU has a
• 30:11
Speaker 2: lot carrying on their shoulders because this is a huge
• 30:14
Speaker 2: game for the Big 12. But I like Notre Dame here.
• 30:16
Speaker 2: I like Notre Dame to cover because I just don't
• 30:19
Speaker 2: think BYU is going to be able. They are good
• 30:21
Speaker 2: at running the football. I don't believe they'll be able
• 30:23
Speaker 2: to run it against Notre Dame. BYU's defense is good.
• 30:26
Speaker 2: I just think CJ Carr is playing better than most
• 30:29
Speaker 2: people realize. I like Notre Dame here a lot. I'll
• 30:33
Speaker 2: put three units on that Notre Dame to cover. The
• 30:35
Speaker 2: coughs there, are you trying to imply maybe Notre Dame
• 30:39
  Speaker 2: choke job? No.
• 30:41
Speaker 1: No, I'm not. I have this weird tickle right here
• 30:43
Speaker 1: in the back of the throat. Those are the worst.
• 30:45
Speaker 1: And I'll be honest.
• 30:46
Speaker 3: Those are the worst.
• 30:46
Speaker 1: I had it on Monday. He is starting to attack you.
• 30:49
Speaker 1: And I had to literally leave. I had to leave.
• 30:50
Speaker 1: The last night, I'm sleeping, and I woke up like
• 30:52
Speaker 1: three times. Just I'm like- I start watering.
• 30:54
  Speaker 3: Yeah, dude. Yeah.
• 30:56
Speaker 2: And it's just this residual from being sick whatever two
• 30:58
Speaker 2: weeks ago. It started attacking him. late in the interview
• 31:02
Speaker 2: on Monday with Dusty Slade. And he just starts hitting this.
• 31:06
Speaker 2: And I'm like, we have to get off the bus
• 31:07
Speaker 2: not once, come back. I'm like, okay, I think I
• 31:09
Speaker 2: figured it out. Sit back down and get back off.
• 31:11
Speaker 1: All that to be said, Notre Dame choke job is
• 31:14
Speaker 1: completely off the table for me. off the table like
• 31:19
Speaker 1: i can't even talk i already feel it coming go
• 31:21
Speaker 1: ahead you don't yeah so i.
• 31:24
Speaker 3: This happened to me a couple of years ago i
• 31:25
Speaker 3: had to just stop a show dude i couldn't talk
• 31:28
  Speaker 3: to anyone that's i was doing a solo show i
• 31:31
Speaker 3: just had to stop the show because i couldn't talk
• 31:33
Speaker 3: by the way because when it caught in my throat
• 31:36
Speaker 3: it just went like this yeah and i had to
• 31:38
Speaker 3: say we're done we'll be back tuesday And I just
• 31:40
Speaker 3: had to stop the show.
• 31:41
Speaker 1: I'm glad. I didn't expect you to have empathy for
• 31:44
Speaker 1: my situation. The fact that you do makes me feel
• 31:46
Speaker 1: a whole lot better.
• 31:46
Speaker 3: It's really bad. It's my biggest fear this time of year.
• 31:48
Speaker 3: And going to football games, here's the underrated part. If
• 31:52
Speaker 3: you do multiple bits of media throughout the week, you
• 31:55
Speaker 3: talk more than you think you do. If you have
• 31:57
Speaker 3: a cough in the fall, that puts added strain on
• 31:59
Speaker 3: the vocal cords. But what really kills you is if
• 32:01
Speaker 3: you go to a football game every Saturday, the cumulative
• 32:04
Speaker 3: effect of having to yell to talk, which you have
• 32:07
Speaker 3: to do in a football stadium, That's what drags your voice.
• 32:10
Speaker 3: That's what drags your vocal cords. And that's what leads
• 32:12
Speaker 3: to the throat tickle.
• 32:14
Speaker 1: I'm not concerned now because we're obviously shooting the show.
• 32:17
Speaker 1: It's not live. If this happens Friday, we got to
• 32:20
  Speaker 1: have a protocol.
• 32:21
Speaker 3: We got to have a protocol in place.
• 32:22
Speaker 1: Yeah. We ended up this episode to bring you neutral.
• 32:25
Speaker 1: Neutral tastes great. Tastes better than any seltzer I've ever tried.
• 32:27
Speaker 1: It's made with real vodka and real juice. That's what
• 32:29
Speaker 1: makes it taste delicious. I said this on Monday. I've
• 32:32
Speaker 1: had my two favorites, pineapple and lime. I'm here to
• 32:35
Speaker 1: announce once again, pineapple and blueberry. are my two new favorites.
• 32:40
Speaker 1: Perfect for social occasions, crowd pleaser, especially during the summer.
• 32:43
Speaker 1: Think beaches or friends, outdoor bar on a lake at
• 32:46
Speaker 1: a music festival. Perfect time of year to grab a
• 32:48
Speaker 1: 12 pack of Neutral for the beach or grab a
• 32:51
Speaker 1: bucket deal in your favorite bar to celebrate summer. We're
• 32:55
Speaker 1: technically in fall now. Neutral, keep it tasty. We gotta
• 32:59
Speaker 1: figure something out. It'll just come out of nowhere. Like
• 33:02
Speaker 1: this morning, I had one happen again. I was like,
• 33:03
  Speaker 1: holy shit, dude.
• 33:04
Speaker 3: What if I was on air?
• 33:05
Speaker 1: What if I was on that right now? I do
• 33:06
Speaker 1: it all the time. He gets you some chicken broth,
• 33:08
Speaker 1: some hot tea. I got to get something going, dude.
• 33:10
Speaker 1: Get some honey in there. Yeah. Chicken noodle soup and
• 33:13
Speaker 1: a little bit of 7-Up. Call it a day. Get
• 33:15
  Speaker 1: dialed in.
• 33:16
  Speaker 3: And just quit.
• 33:17
  Speaker 1: Yeah. What's that? 7-Up and chicken noodle soup. That's a
• 33:20
Speaker 1: South Park reference. Notre Dame. Minus 10 and a half.
• 33:24
Speaker 1: Early in the year, like they're... a one-dimensional team. They
• 33:28
Speaker 1: were throwing the ball really well. CJ Carr, you talked
• 33:30
Speaker 1: about 70% completion percentage. He's taking care of the football.
• 33:33
Speaker 1: Offensive line did a great job protecting. They only have
• 33:35
Speaker 1: given up two sacks this year so far. They had
• 33:37
Speaker 1: four or five guys returning. So this is one of
• 33:39
Speaker 1: the better offensive lines in the league. In the last
• 33:41
Speaker 1: couple of weeks, Jonas Walton, this dude's run for over
• 33:46
Speaker 1: 400 yards against Stanford and UNC, and I know those
• 33:48
Speaker 1: are two names that aren't going to wow anybody, but
• 33:51
Speaker 1: it's starting to show that Marcus Freeman and this offense
• 33:54
Speaker 1: and CJ Carr, they're getting where they can win multiple ways.
• 33:58
Speaker 1: It's going to be very interesting to see against a
• 33:59
Speaker 1: BYU team that does a really good job stopping the run,
• 34:02
Speaker 1: but when I'm looking at both sides... LJ Martin being
• 34:05
Speaker 1: out and bear having, I think more than 50% of
• 34:09
Speaker 1: their rush yards since LJ has been out. Seems like
• 34:12
Speaker 1: it's a pretty easy team to stop. And when you
• 34:13
Speaker 1: have the corners that Notre Dame does, you can play
• 34:16
Speaker 1: a lot of man and you can kind of load
• 34:18
Speaker 1: that box and say, okay, you have to beat us
• 34:19
Speaker 1: through the air now. And if you have to be
• 34:21
Speaker 1: through the air, I don't trust BYU long-term for 60 minutes,
• 34:25
Speaker 1: being able to do this Notre Dame. We talked about
• 34:28
Speaker 1: being there in the spring when we were there in
• 34:29
Speaker 1: the spring. They broke everything down on two.
• 34:32
  Speaker 2: Why?
• 34:32
Speaker 1: Because they lost two games last year and they am
• 34:34
Speaker 1: getting taken out of the playoffs. On their big screen,
• 34:37
Speaker 1: they're showing highlights of other teams doing well against them.
• 34:40
Speaker 1: Freeman's done a great job from a cultural standpoint, looking
• 34:42
Speaker 1: at history, which we've said you shouldn't do. and showing
• 34:45
Speaker 1: it to their team over and over again to have
• 34:47
Speaker 1: that chip on their shoulder. We know that their schedule
• 34:49
Speaker 1: is not very strong. They have this game and they
• 34:51
Speaker 1: have Miami. And these are the two games that they
• 34:54
Speaker 1: have to have. And as much as people probably say
• 34:57
Speaker 1: they don't look at it, they have to cover. They
• 34:59
Speaker 1: have to show that they're a dominant football team. So
• 35:01
Speaker 1: when we get into this playoff situation and they're on
• 35:04
Speaker 1: that cusp, I don't think they will be, because I
• 35:05
Speaker 1: do think they're going to win this game. We'll get
• 35:07
Speaker 1: to Miami in a couple of weeks down the road.
• 35:09
Speaker 1: But they have to have a good body of work
• 35:11
Speaker 1: against a few good teams they play. CJ Carr, ultimate competitor,
• 35:15
Speaker 1: done a great job with the football. They don't have
• 35:17
Speaker 1: very many turnovers. Their defense flies around, one of the
• 35:19
Speaker 1: top in the country. BYU not having LJ Martin, that
• 35:23
Speaker 1: in effect gives me, I'm loving Notre Dame, minus 10.5.
• 35:27
Speaker 1: I'll do three units on that.
• 35:30
Speaker 3: Let's say I told you, congrats, Notre Dame's going to cover.
• 35:33
Speaker 3: The final's going to be 30-16. Does that not feel
• 35:37
Speaker 3: like a reasonably high-scoring game for this kind of matchup?
• 35:43
  Speaker 1: Could be, yeah.
• 35:44
Speaker 3: Okay, because that still hits the under. So I'm going
• 35:48
Speaker 3: to go five units on the under at 46 and
• 35:50
Speaker 3: a half. There are so many paths here where maybe
• 35:54
Speaker 3: Brigham Young gets shut down entirely, and it's irrelevant how
• 35:57
Speaker 3: many points Notre Dame scores. But there are others where,
• 35:59
Speaker 3: like if I played this game in Houston, Texas, would
• 36:04
Speaker 3: you even give a passing thought to picking BYU?
• 36:07
  Speaker 2: No.
• 36:08
Speaker 3: No, it's all environment. It's all Provo, Utah. It's all
• 36:12
Speaker 3: going in there. Rightfully so. It's an extremely tough place
• 36:15
Speaker 3: to go into. I know Marcus Freeman said, we're built
• 36:18
Speaker 3: for this. We do this all the time. And he's right.
• 36:19
Speaker 3: They go into weird places all the time. Not that place.
• 36:23
Speaker 3: That's like a uniquely weird place. So I stack that,
• 36:26
Speaker 3: just stacking the pancakes here. You also talk about LJ
• 36:29
Speaker 3: Martin being out. The other part of that is Bottenmeier
• 36:33
Speaker 3: 109 yards rushing versus Iowa State. He kind of has
• 36:36
Speaker 3: to be their leading rusher. And you kind of know
• 36:39
Speaker 3: that's got to be the game plan because they're not
• 36:40
Speaker 3: they haven't thrown the ball against inferior secondaries. They're not
• 36:43
Speaker 3: going to throw the ball against Notre Dame. And then conversely,
• 36:46
Speaker 3: if Notre Dame gets an early lead, you know, that
• 36:49
Speaker 3: game script is just them sitting on it, them bleeding clock,
• 36:52
Speaker 3: which probably ends up still leading to a double digit win.
• 36:55
Speaker 3: Like to me, classically, when you think about trying to
• 36:59
Speaker 3: gain style points, you think of running the score up.
• 37:02
Speaker 3: To me, Notre Dame gaining style points here is them
• 37:05
Speaker 3: driving the opponent's score down. Holding, are you pitching a
• 37:08
Speaker 3: shutout or holding them to single digits or something like that?
• 37:11
  Speaker 3: So like 23 to 10, 27 to 13, those kind
• 37:14
Speaker 3: of scores, those all hit the under. Like if Notre
• 37:18
Speaker 3: Dame just runs away and scores 40 by themselves, okay,
• 37:20
Speaker 3: I'm screwed. But I think this game script is a
• 37:22
Speaker 3: really classic under game script. I'm surprised that they put
• 37:25
Speaker 3: that total in the mid to upper 40s instead of
• 37:28
Speaker 3: low to mid 40s. But I think that's respect for
• 37:31
Speaker 3: Notre Dame and what they could do offensively. So I'll
• 37:34
Speaker 3: go five units on under 46 and a half.
• 37:37
  Speaker 1: That's a good bet. Thank you. It's a great bet.
• 37:39
Speaker 1: Is there a world where, since Notre Dame has played
• 37:41
Speaker 1: literally nobody up until this point, that we are totally
• 37:45
Speaker 1: overvaluing them and undervaluing BYU?
• 37:48
  Speaker 3: I think the first part, yes. I don't think you're
• 37:50
Speaker 3: undervaluing Brigham Young. That's another possibility that I was thinking
• 37:55
Speaker 3: about that also leans me towards under. To me, it
• 37:59
Speaker 3: would be very surprising, unless you told me there are
• 38:00
Speaker 3: going to be defensive scores and special team scores, which
• 38:03
Speaker 3: are not predictable, that Brigham Young scoring too many points
• 38:07
Speaker 3: costs me the over. If they win the game, it's
• 38:09
Speaker 3: a low-scoring rock fight of a game. So yeah, it
• 38:12
Speaker 3: is possible that Notre Dame just goes in there and
• 38:14
Speaker 3: they get crowbarred. They grind to a halt. And they're
• 38:17
Speaker 3: trying to scratch out 17 points. And it's hard for
• 38:20
Speaker 3: them to do. But it's not, man, we got to
• 38:22
Speaker 3: keep up with Brigham Young. Because they're just moving the
• 38:25
Speaker 3: ball consistently on us. And look, if I blow an under,
• 38:28
Speaker 3: because Brigham Young's offense minus LJ Martin just consistently moves
• 38:32
Speaker 3: the ball on Notre Dame. Okay, tip my cap to him.
• 38:35
Speaker 3: I lost. But I got to see that to believe it.
• 38:38
Speaker 1: Move my three units to the under. I want the under.
• 38:43
  Speaker 3: For three.
• 38:44
Speaker 1: For three units. You're gonna move to the under? I'm
• 38:45
Speaker 1: moving it. Yeah, he's up 40 units. And everything he's
• 38:49
Speaker 1: saying is true. Everything he said was true. But I like, no,
• 38:52
Speaker 1: I want to do that. But I feel like if
• 38:54
Speaker 1: I do that, we, what is the show?
• 38:56
Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you're a sellout conformist if you do that.
• 38:58
  Speaker 3: You'd be a sellout.
• 38:58
Speaker 1: Yeah. I'll move him. You did it first, which makes
• 39:03
Speaker 1: it okay. The minute I do that, I'm a sheet
• 39:05
  Speaker 1: plus something else. You're just a sheet. I'm a sheet
• 39:07
Speaker 1: plus something else. Stay there, big boy.
• 39:10
  Speaker 3: I'm a sheet.
• 39:11
Speaker 1: We're on the under.
• 39:12
  Speaker 3: All right.
• 39:13
Speaker 1: I'll take Notre Dame minus 10 and a half. Now,
• 39:15
Speaker 1: since you're on the under, do you root for the upset? No.
• 39:19
Speaker 3: You don't root for the upset?
• 39:20
Speaker 1: No, Notre Dame is my national champion. That's right. Notre
• 39:24
Speaker 1: Dame is also like Will Compton's Alabama.
• 39:27
Speaker 3: It's their adopted team.
• 39:28
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 39:30
Speaker 3: That well up there. You went to Marcus's house.
• 39:32
Speaker 1: Will played for the Washington Redskins and he quietly roots
• 39:36
Speaker 1: for the Dallas Cowboys. This is just the college football
• 39:42
Speaker 1: version of the Dallas Cowboys for him. He signed a contract.
• 39:45
Speaker 1: Did you sign it? Yeah, I signed it.
• 39:48
Speaker 3: Did you sign him?
• 39:49
  Speaker 1: I didn't get offered. Oh, that's right.
• 39:51
Speaker 3: And you knew that. That's right.
• 39:53
Speaker 1: I didn't either. Neither of us got offered. They were
• 39:55
Speaker 1: doing a make good. Yeah, I grew up a Notre
• 39:57
Speaker 1: Dame fan. Which is crazy, too, because he actually ended
• 39:59
Speaker 1: up offering him in high school at the end. And
• 40:02
Speaker 1: he was like, well, I don't want to play fullback.
• 40:04
Speaker 1: I never got offered ever. Oh, sloppy seconds. Like, well,
• 40:09
Speaker 1: we heard, so we're going to offer you again. I'm thinking.
• 40:11
Speaker 3: I'm right here, guys.
• 40:12
Speaker 1: All-American. I'm right here. Like, every version. I was all,
• 40:16
Speaker 1: all right. But yeah, let's watch this film with them
• 40:19
Speaker 1: and tell them what they're doing again.
• 40:21
Speaker 3: So wait, who did you, you took Notre Dame?
• 40:23
Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I don't have a choice now.
• 40:24
  Speaker 3: How many units?
• 40:25
  Speaker 1: Three.
• 40:25
  Speaker 3: Three units, okay.
• 40:26
Speaker 1: Three's my new one.
• 40:27
Speaker 3: So no one's rooting for the upset here.
• 40:28
  Speaker 1: I'm not. I like, I'm a fan of Freeman. I'm
• 40:32
Speaker 1: a fan of Carr. I'm a fan of like this team.
• 40:35
Speaker 1: And like, I think they have a real chance to
• 40:37
Speaker 1: do something this year.
• 40:37
Speaker 3: Okay, I do too.
• 40:38
Speaker 1: But if they, hey, this one's close.
• 40:43
Speaker 3: Wait, wait. I know none of us said we're rooting
• 40:45
Speaker 3: for it. Let's just say in a crazy world, it happens.
• 40:48
Speaker 3: Do you know what that does to that Notre Dame-Miami game?
• 40:52
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 40:53
  Speaker 2: Oh, no.
• 40:54
Speaker 3: No. It makes it a fight to the death. Notre
• 40:59
Speaker 3: Dame can't lose two games this year. Some say they
• 41:01
Speaker 3: can't lose one. They definitely can't lose two games this year.
• 41:04
Speaker 1: They definitely can't lose both of those games. No.
• 41:06
Speaker 3: They're out if they do that.
• 41:07
  Speaker 1: 100%.
• 41:08
Speaker 3: I don't even know that Notre Dame fans would disagree
• 41:09
Speaker 3: with that. That's the tradeoff of knowing you play a
• 41:12
  Speaker 3: schedule like this.
• 41:12
Speaker 1: Would Notre Dame fans disagree with that? You lose to BYU,
• 41:15
Speaker 1: you lose to Miami.
• 41:16
Speaker 2: They know that they have to, you can't, yeah, they
• 41:18
Speaker 2: can't lose two games. They can't lose their only two
• 41:20
Speaker 2: games they got on the schedule.
• 41:24
Speaker 1: Shout out Kevin. Shout out Kevin. Shout out Kevin. I
• 41:27
Speaker 1: can't wait to see him again.
• 41:28
  Speaker 3: All right.
• 41:29
Speaker 1: Am I a homer for another day? Yeah. Oh yeah. Yeah.
• 41:35
Speaker 1: Defense is for real. I saw a crazy story on
• 41:37
Speaker 1: why they became the fighting Irish. I don't know if
• 41:39
Speaker 1: it was true, but I'll tell you guys after the show.
• 41:41
  Speaker 2: Okay.
• 41:41
Speaker 1: It's got to do with racism. They fought back. So no. Yeah.
• 41:49
Speaker 1: Is that how it worked?
• 41:51
Speaker 3: Well, we'll tell you after the show. I read NFL
• 41:54
Speaker 3: end zones, so I don't believe any of that stuff.
• 41:56
Speaker 1: All right. You brought up defensive touchdowns, special teams, touchdowns,
• 42:02
Speaker 1: Kentucky at Oklahoma. Oh, Cole Kublik on the call. Cole
• 42:06
Speaker 1: Kublik on the call for this one.
• 42:08
  Speaker 3: He sure is.
• 42:08
Speaker 1: Shout out Cole Kublik. Shout out Cole Kublik. Yes, sir. Yes, sir.
• 42:14
Speaker 1: Oklahoma favored six and a half. Total in that game
• 42:16
Speaker 1: is 43 and a half points. Last week I sat there.
• 42:20
Speaker 1: Red River shootout. Red River rivalry depending on who you are,
• 42:24
Speaker 1: what side you lean. I took the under on that game.
• 42:27
Speaker 1: And it bit me right in the ass. And a
• 42:29
Speaker 1: big piece of that was because of defensive touchdowns and
• 42:33
Speaker 1: special teams touchdowns. So my question to you guys is,
• 42:37
Speaker 1: is Oklahoma fixed? I've talked to a couple of people
• 42:39
Speaker 1: in Oklahoma, not quarter zip guy. He wouldn't return my call,
• 42:41
Speaker 1: but a couple of other people I reach out to.
• 42:43
Speaker 1: He won't return your call. I don't have his number. Well,
• 42:46
Speaker 1: I do. Well, put us in a group chat. Quarter
• 42:50
Speaker 1: zip guy, Taylor. Taylor, get quarter zip guy.
• 42:51
Speaker 3: Here's what we got to do after the show. You
• 42:53
Speaker 3: got to tell us about the Notre Dame racism story.
• 42:55
  Speaker 1: Yep.
• 42:55
  Speaker 3: And I've got a link.
• 42:56
Speaker 1: You and... Cuse it.
• 42:58
Speaker 3: Mic up. He has a real name.
• 43:00
Speaker 1: He has a real name. Yes. That's a pretty good guy.
• 43:03
Speaker 1: He'll use his real name.
• 43:04
  Speaker 3: We'll talk.
• 43:05
Speaker 1: Quarter zip guy. We'll talk. Quarter zip guy. You talk
• 43:08
Speaker 1: to our boy? No. No, no, no, no, no. I
• 43:12
Speaker 1: talk to a different one. One of my boys. Gotcha. Yeah.
• 43:16
Speaker 1: Oklahoma fans are very excited. They think they're fixed. Totally fixed?
• 43:20
Speaker 1: They think they're fixed.
• 43:21
  Speaker 2: Wow.
• 43:21
Speaker 1: They are excited. They think the keys of the game
• 43:24
Speaker 1: here are clearly playing very well on defense. Defense is
• 43:27
Speaker 1: going to keep you in every single game. And just
• 43:30
Speaker 1: not the circus-style miscues by John Mateer, which is what
• 43:35
Speaker 1: John Mateer did in this game. He just didn't have
• 43:37
Speaker 1: the go-to-pump fake, ball falls out of his hand, crazy
• 43:41
Speaker 1: interceptions backed up. If you can just take care of
• 43:44
Speaker 1: the football and handle it, Kentucky, from their defense, their
• 43:47
Speaker 1: whole defense scheme is we're not going to get beat
• 43:50
Speaker 1: by X-Place. We are going to back up. We're going
• 43:52
Speaker 1: to let you have things in front of us. We're
• 43:53
Speaker 1: going to keep you in front of us. We're going
• 43:54
Speaker 1: to keep the game close because we believe in our
• 43:56
Speaker 1: offensive line. We believe in our run game. We believe
• 43:58
Speaker 1: in Will Stein and his ability to keep games close
• 44:01
Speaker 1: because he's shown early if you're able to do that,
• 44:03
Speaker 1: they're going to win the game. Put up the two,
• 44:05
Speaker 1: call it a day. So in this game, if Oklahoma
• 44:07
Speaker 1: is going to be successful, John Mateer, and this is just,
• 44:10
Speaker 1: you know, cheeky, but like take care of the football.
• 44:12
Speaker 1: Satania and beers crossing routes over the middle checkdowns, just
• 44:17
Speaker 1: death by a thousand cuts. And if Oklahoma can do
• 44:20
Speaker 1: that and put points on the board, get into the
• 44:22
Speaker 1: red zone and take it, take advantage. That's where they
• 44:24
Speaker 1: find their success along with sooner nation, which seems to
• 44:27
Speaker 1: be revitalized. All that being said, this is one of
• 44:31
Speaker 1: those games I look at in the slate and I'm like,
• 44:33
Speaker 1: I have no idea where to go. Cause like Kentucky's defense,
• 44:38
  Speaker 1: they'll get up like 24 points a game, 28 points
• 44:39
Speaker 1: a game, whatever it is. Kenny Minchey, his passing yards,
• 44:44
Speaker 1: after the ball is caught, 900 yards. He's throwing for
• 44:47
Speaker 1: 1,300 yards. So they're all perimeter, let guys go out there,
• 44:51
Speaker 1: make plays, make a guy miss. You're getting seven, you're
• 44:54
  Speaker 1: getting 10, you're getting 12. But Oklahoma's defense, they're phenomenal
• 44:57
Speaker 1: at tackling space. Their defense is top to bottom as
• 45:01
Speaker 1: good as it can possibly get. I just sit there
• 45:03
Speaker 1: and I wonder. Is it going to be a close game?
• 45:07
Speaker 1: Can Kentucky stay as balanced as they have been? I
• 45:10
Speaker 1: think if I'm really leaning on it, yes, is my answer.
• 45:14
Speaker 1: But I think Oklahoma still wins this game. So I'll
• 45:17
Speaker 1: take Kentucky plus six and a half, three units. But
• 45:21
Speaker 1: this is one of those, my three unit is really
• 45:23
Speaker 1: a one unit. I'm just saying three units because I'm
• 45:25
Speaker 1: trying to stay in the game here with a plus
• 45:27
Speaker 1: 40 unit guy. Wow. Oh, you're chasing. Consistent though. I'm
• 45:33
Speaker 1: a consistent chase. I've revved up the RPMs, but we're
• 45:36
Speaker 1: not going any, we're just staying right here at three.
• 45:39
Speaker 1: Just trying to hit a double. It's a hard one, right? Yeah,
• 45:44
  Speaker 1: it is.
• 45:45
Speaker 2: Like, I think Oklahoma wins. Dude, they cover six.
• 45:47
Speaker 1: And a half points. They ain't fixed. No. Like, that
• 45:51
  Speaker 1: offense ain't fixed.
• 45:52
Speaker 2: Tell you what, John Mateer, that last drive, he had
• 45:54
Speaker 2: a couple downfield, and he peppered, what's his name, Sertania?
• 45:58
  Speaker 1: Sertania.
• 45:59
Speaker 2: Yeah, on the sideline, like, that's the John Mateer you
• 46:02
Speaker 2: want to see all the time. But the majority of
• 46:04
  Speaker 2: the game, he's.
• 46:05
Speaker 1: On the perimeter with screens and everything else. Like, it's
• 46:08
  Speaker 1: not fixed.
• 46:09
Speaker 2: Now, where I feel like they have that, Like, them
• 46:13
Speaker 2: winning the Red River Shootout. That's what said he's on.
• 46:18
Speaker 2: That's got to, like to me, it's going to unlock this.
• 46:21
Speaker 2: Because you look at their schedule, it's like, who do
• 46:22
Speaker 2: they have? They have Kentucky, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Florida.
• 46:25
Speaker 2: They can get back fully in this thing. So I
• 46:27
Speaker 2: think they're juice inside the locker room now. Like, they
• 46:31
Speaker 2: have to win. They have to continue to stack Ws
• 46:34
Speaker 2: after taking down the number one team in the country
• 46:37
Speaker 2: in the AP Bowl last week in Texas. And they still,
• 46:40
Speaker 2: they beat that team without an offense. So I'm going
• 46:43
Speaker 2: to take Oklahoma to cover here and I'm only going
• 46:45
Speaker 2: to put one unit on it because I'm not confident.
• 46:47
Speaker 2: I have no clue. They got a nice block punt
• 46:50
Speaker 2: for a touchdown. Their special teams came alive. Defense is,
• 46:53
Speaker 2: they are that unit. Um, The same formula they had
• 46:57
Speaker 2: last year. We saw it over the weekend against Texas.
• 47:01
Speaker 2: Now can they carry this momentum in their next four
• 47:03
Speaker 2: weeks coming up with opponents that are very beatable? So
• 47:07
Speaker 2: I'm going to go Oklahoma minus six and a half
• 47:09
Speaker 2: with one unit. Love Willie Stein.
• 47:10
  Speaker 1: Love this offense.
• 47:11
Speaker 2: Kentucky's defense is basically if they score, whether they don't score,
• 47:15
Speaker 2: if the offense scores on us, we just.
• 47:16
Speaker 1: Want to get the ball back to our offense. It
• 47:17
Speaker 1: doesn't even matter what you guys do to us. Right, right.
• 47:20
Speaker 1: The thing that you brought up that I hate when
• 47:22
Speaker 1: you do put on the film and you see like
• 47:23
Speaker 1: one drive of like John Materno, you're like, yeah, that's
• 47:25
Speaker 1: the guy. That's the guy you want. There he is.
• 47:27
Speaker 1: You can say the same thing. Like there's a couple
• 47:28
Speaker 1: of run plays. You're like, okay, maybe they can run
• 47:30
Speaker 1: the ball, but like they can't. And it's like, I,
• 47:32
Speaker 1: you want, you want like.
• 47:33
Speaker 2: This Kentucky defense is where it can now that that
• 47:36
Speaker 2: can fool us this weekend.
• 47:38
Speaker 1: Like, Oh, Oklahoma, they have fixed a lot of stuff. Yeah.
• 47:41
Speaker 1: Maybe they are back. Maybe they are. Are they back Josh?
• 47:44
Speaker 3: I don't know. No, of course not. Oh, Classically, this
• 47:50
Speaker 3: is a spot where OU wins by three touchdowns. Kentucky
• 47:55
Speaker 3: is off back-to-back, game-winning two-point conversion situations. High, emotionally draining
• 48:02
Speaker 3: wins back-to-back. This is classically where you go on the
• 48:05
Speaker 3: road and you get dump-trucked. You just fall back to earth.
• 48:10
  Speaker 3: It's a double-do-down spot in gambling terms.
• 48:13
  Speaker 1: OU's in 1-2.
• 48:14
Speaker 3: Because OU just came off winning the Red River Shootout
• 48:17
Speaker 3: in the way they did. And so I don't really
• 48:19
Speaker 3: know if that cancels each other out, but it's not
• 48:23
Speaker 3: like this lopsided seesaw on the ground towards OU like
• 48:26
Speaker 3: it would normally be. The second part is if you're
• 48:30
Speaker 3: in that kind of do down spot and you face
• 48:32
Speaker 3: a dominant defense, it makes me worry that you just
• 48:35
Speaker 3: get completely clamped. It is the most quintessential classic crowbar
• 48:39
Speaker 3: theory game that you could possibly have. That's part two.
• 48:42
Speaker 3: Part three is... Will Stein and those guys have been
• 48:46
Speaker 3: doing stuff they're not supposed to do all year. So
• 48:49
Speaker 3: this is just another spot where they could be able
• 48:52
Speaker 3: to do something that they haven't done all year. Last time,
• 48:54
Speaker 3: I know this doesn't mean as much now, but remember
• 48:56
Speaker 3: when they went on the road against A & M?
• 48:58
  Speaker 3: They didn't go into A & M and like, fight
• 49:01
Speaker 3: and just have a chance in the fourth quarter. They
• 49:04
Speaker 3: just pulled away and dominated the game. They went to
• 49:07
Speaker 3: South Carolina and won. So they've already gone on the
• 49:10
Speaker 3: road in the SEC multiple times. This hasn't been just
• 49:12
Speaker 3: like home cooking type magic. They've gone on the road.
• 49:16
Speaker 3: You asked the most important question. Has Oklahoma figured something out?
• 49:19
Speaker 3: Because this time last year, OU got left for dead.
• 49:22
Speaker 3: It was a better OU team, but they got left
• 49:24
Speaker 3: for dead and they had to go to Neyland and
• 49:26
Speaker 3: they had to go to Bryant-Denny Stadium. They had to
• 49:28
Speaker 3: go to Tennessee and Alabama. And I didn't think they'd
• 49:30
Speaker 3: win either of those games. And they found a way
• 49:32
Speaker 3: to win both of those games. And they came back
• 49:34
Speaker 3: from the dead. So the question is, do you think
• 49:38
Speaker 3: they're about to put together that kind of hard to
• 49:41
Speaker 3: kill second half run coming out of the woods type performance?
• 49:45
Speaker 3: And I'm still not there, but I wasn't there last year. So,
• 49:48
Speaker 3: you know, take comfort in that. I'm going to take
• 49:50
Speaker 3: Kentucky plus six and a half. Very low confidence. Seems
• 49:53
Speaker 3: like all of us are low confidence on this. I
• 49:55
Speaker 3: think if Kentucky can get an early score, that seems
• 49:58
Speaker 3: a lot more significant against an offensively challenged team like
• 50:01
Speaker 3: OU than it normally would. So I'll take them plus
• 50:04
Speaker 3: six and a half for one unit. very little confidence
• 50:07
Speaker 3: i think that game is the most unpredictable of all
• 50:10
Speaker 3: the games on the board that we're looking at this
• 50:12
Speaker 3: week because you could tell me 27 to 3 oh
• 50:17
Speaker 3: you and i'd be like man i missed that one
• 50:19
Speaker 3: but that's not shocking but you could also tell me
• 50:21
Speaker 3: kentucky pulls the upset and i wouldn't have my mind
• 50:24
Speaker 3: blown either yeah so this is a really unpredictable game
• 50:26
Speaker 3: so i'm going no confidence uh kentucky plus six and
• 50:29
Speaker 3: a half one unit.
• 50:29
Speaker 1: And like oklahoma like very hard place to play you
• 50:33
Speaker 1: a rabid fan base, but New Mexico was in there
• 50:35
  Speaker 1: week three. 14-6.
• 50:37
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 50:38
Speaker 1: It was not a very impressive game to see, and
• 50:41
Speaker 1: we have to assume that New Mexico doesn't have as
• 50:44
Speaker 1: good as players at this point as Kentucky.
• 50:45
Speaker 3: Well, don't assume that.
• 50:46
  Speaker 1: Can't assume that.
• 50:47
  Speaker 3: It's a good team.
• 50:48
Speaker 1: Good ball club over there. 14-6, they'll cover six and
• 50:50
  Speaker 1: a half. No, it doesn't.
• 50:55
Speaker 3: For OU, it does.
• 50:56
Speaker 1: For OU, it does. You're right. Yeah, because I got OU.
• 50:59
  Speaker 1: My bad.
• 50:59
  Speaker 3: There you go.
• 51:00
Speaker 2: Hey. Oh, you just have to have it, man. Even
• 51:04
Speaker 2: if you have the emotional win, they have zero time
• 51:09
Speaker 2: to afford anything because they just have to, hey, they
• 51:11
  Speaker 2: got to go.
• 51:12
Speaker 1: They got to go, but do they go? Can they go?
• 51:15
  Speaker 1: That's a four-cylinder right there. A couple balls left.
• 51:19
Speaker 3: How bad does Texas look if Kentucky wins this game?
• 51:23
Speaker 3: They already look bad. Independent of what happens here, the
• 51:26
Speaker 3: way that game ended last week is inexcusably bad.
• 51:29
Speaker 2: But what if Dude, I know Arch is getting shit on,
• 51:34
Speaker 2: but he had some bombs in that game. He had
• 51:35
Speaker 2: three or four downfield that looked.
• 51:37
Speaker 3: He did in the Tennessee game too?
• 51:38
Speaker 1: He also had a handful of throws that are a
• 51:41
Speaker 1: couple of times where those guys are wide open and
• 51:42
Speaker 1: he's trying to press it to a random spot. No doubt.
• 51:45
Speaker 1: Maybe I'm talking out of turn there. It's so frustrating
• 51:47
Speaker 1: because we're all probably massive fans of the Mannings. We
• 51:52
Speaker 1: love that family. They've done nothing wrong, but they've only
• 51:54
Speaker 1: done good in this country from what I can tell.
• 51:57
Speaker 1: I want this kid to be successful. But some of
• 51:59
Speaker 1: the things like, bro, how many more weapons do you need?
• 52:04
Speaker 2: He can't throw that when he had that pick late
• 52:06
Speaker 2: in the game. You can't throw that ball when you're
• 52:08
Speaker 2: on the move like that.
• 52:09
Speaker 3: No, you could take a knee and put your team
• 52:11
Speaker 3: in better positions than what he did. Let me float
• 52:13
Speaker 3: this something to you. This would have been very irresponsible
• 52:15
Speaker 3: to ask up until right now. I know we're not
• 52:18
Speaker 3: breaking down Texas, but just quickly. He is facing a
• 52:22
Speaker 3: horrendous secondary this week in Florida. If they don't do anything,
• 52:28
Speaker 3: if they don't do much, if they don't succeed through
• 52:29
Speaker 3: the air against Florida, I don't think it's irresponsible anymore
• 52:33
Speaker 3: to be asking, do we think about making a move here?
• 52:36
Speaker 3: I don't think Sark would. He had the whole thing
• 52:40
Speaker 3: earlier this week where, well, if his last name wasn't Manning,
• 52:42
Speaker 3: people wouldn't be criticizing him. Actually, it's the other way.
• 52:44
Speaker 3: I think if his last name wasn't Manning and they
• 52:47
Speaker 3: don't rip Florida this week, I think people would already
• 52:51
Speaker 3: be talking about KJ Lacey. Let's see what he can do.
• 52:53
Speaker 3: And I cannot believe I'm saying that. But that's kind
• 52:56
Speaker 3: of where we are right now.
• 52:57
Speaker 1: I don't think– I think if they go and they
• 53:01
Speaker 1: don't do well against this Florida secondary, the answer for
• 53:04
Speaker 1: them is not, oh, let's see what the next quarterback
• 53:07
Speaker 1: can do. It's the same thing they did to Quinn Ures.
• 53:10
Speaker 1: Or it's like even if Quinn Ures kind of wanted
• 53:11
Speaker 1: to stay, they're like, time for you to.
• 53:14
Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's next year. I'm talking about next game.
• 53:16
  Speaker 1: I know, but I just don't– I don't see Sark
• 53:19
Speaker 1: doing that. I don't know. It feels very uncomfortable having
• 53:22
Speaker 1: this conversation because his last name is Manning. Yeah.
• 53:25
Speaker 3: But that's the only reason it feels uncomfortable.
• 53:27
  Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right.
• 53:28
Speaker 3: So he's getting benefit of doubt because of his last name.
• 53:31
Speaker 3: He's not getting overly criticized just because of his last name.
• 53:34
Speaker 3: Like I thought Sark said that earlier this week and
• 53:36
Speaker 3: badly misrepresented the situation. It's actually the antithesis, the exact
• 53:39
Speaker 3: opposite of what he said. Now, they could score 45
• 53:42
Speaker 3: and it'd be a moot point, which I hope they do.
• 53:44
Speaker 3: But you got to remember, this isn't some three-loss Texas team.
• 53:47
Speaker 3: They're still in the thick of the playoff race. So
• 53:49
Speaker 3: at some point, if you struggle win against Florida, you
• 53:52
Speaker 3: got to do what's best for that team.
• 53:55
Speaker 1: I know you put the blind stats up on Buston
• 53:57
Speaker 1: and Pate last week. And to compare, the answer for
• 53:59
Speaker 1: me was, well, John Mateers had fumbles and misuse that
• 54:02
Speaker 1: don't show in the stat line. And then we get
• 54:04
Speaker 1: to pick six and the fumbles and all the things
• 54:06
Speaker 1: that's like, oh, shit. We interrupt this episode to shout
• 54:09
Speaker 1: out Jack Daniels. Shout out, no free shout out.
• 54:11
Speaker 2: And whether I'm at a tailgate or on the couch
• 54:12
Speaker 2: watching Nebraska or Michigan this weekend on Saturday, Jack Daniels
• 54:16
Speaker 2: is a staple on my game day roster. You can
• 54:18
Speaker 2: expand your playbook with the cinnamon kick of Jack Fire,
• 54:21
Speaker 2: the smooth taste of Jack Honey, the crisp and refreshing
• 54:24
Speaker 2: Jack Apple, and the only blackberry bursting with Jack. Personally,
• 54:28
Speaker 2: your boy is a smooth taste of that Jack Honey.
• 54:31
Speaker 2: No matter how you stack your unit, there's a Jack.
• 54:33
Speaker 1: For every football fan. Let's get back to the episode. And, Willie,
• 54:36
Speaker 1: you've done the best thing that any of us could
• 54:38
Speaker 1: have done at this point is be quiet during this conversation.
• 54:41
Speaker 2: Well, so I was watching that game yesterday, and it's
• 54:44
Speaker 2: like you're looking at both quarterbacks, the blind stats, and
• 54:47
Speaker 2: Mateer and Manning against each other in the shootout. Like, dude,
• 54:49
Speaker 2: Manning outplayed. I know he had those picks. Manning was
• 54:53
Speaker 2: playing some good ball. He was playing some good ball.
• 54:57
  Speaker 2: Go take a peek-ski. Go take a peek-ski on all
• 54:59
Speaker 2: of his attempts. But just watch all of his attempts. Like,
• 55:02
Speaker 2: I'm taking Manning over Mateer. based on what he can
• 55:05
Speaker 2: do with the football. But there's still so much on there.
• 55:08
Speaker 2: There's still so much meat left on the bone of
• 55:11
Speaker 2: where this didn't have.
• 55:12
Speaker 1: To be a close game. What's the line on this
• 55:13
  Speaker 1: Florida-Texas game?
• 55:15
Speaker 3: Is it 10 and a half or something like that?
• 55:17
  Speaker 1: 10 and a half. What's your tiny itty-bitty microscopic computer
• 55:26
Speaker 1: say about this game?
• 55:27
Speaker 3: I think it leans Texas.
• 55:29
  Speaker 1: I believe it.
• 55:29
Speaker 3: But it's also overrated.
• 55:31
  Speaker 1: It's a Texas spot.
• 55:32
  Speaker 3: I don't know.
• 55:35
  Speaker 1: Who? Oh, VB3. VB3.
• 55:43
Speaker 3: Buddy, that's interesting. If the formula for beating Florida is
• 55:47
Speaker 3: shutting their run game down and it's Texas you're going against,
• 55:50
Speaker 3: there's no reason Texas shouldn't win this game running away.
• 55:53
  Speaker 3: You've got a weak secondary for Florida. You've got a
• 55:56
Speaker 3: completely ineffective offense if they can't run it, and no
• 55:59
Speaker 3: one runs it really on Texas. Should be a blowout game.
• 56:02
Speaker 3: Should be a multi-possession win type of game. That's what
• 56:05
  Speaker 3: it should be.
• 56:05
Speaker 1: I'll have a unit this weekend on Texas. I was
• 56:07
Speaker 1: just going to ask, if we were breaking down this game,
• 56:09
Speaker 1: is this a game you would slap the table for?
• 56:11
Speaker 3: I would go three or four units on Texas, yeah.
• 56:15
Speaker 3: I wouldn't quite slap the table because I already did it.
• 56:17
  Speaker 2: True.
• 56:18
  Speaker 3: So it's illegal.
• 56:19
Speaker 1: Completely fair. That is true, and you're a rule follower.
• 56:21
  Speaker 2: Yep.
• 56:21
Speaker 1: Can we just add this game to our slate and
• 56:25
Speaker 1: just say we're going to take Texas here?
• 56:27
  Speaker 3: That's dangerous.
• 56:28
Speaker 1: Can we do that?
• 56:29
Speaker 3: That is kind of dangerous. We all just go two units.
• 56:32
Speaker 1: Texas minus ten and a half. We all live and
• 56:35
Speaker 1: die by the sword together. It really doesn't affect the
• 56:37
Speaker 1: standings at all. So we don't need to add it.
• 56:41
Speaker 1: It doesn't affect anything. Yeah, but if we win, it
• 56:43
Speaker 1: makes our units a little better.
• 56:45
Speaker 3: And if we lose, we can say the game was
• 56:46
Speaker 3: never added. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's fun.
• 56:49
Speaker 1: This is a win-win situation. Go with your community tab.
• 56:53
Speaker 1: I'll put it in my community. Taylor LeVon, community tab, FanDuel.
• 56:55
Speaker 1: Check it out. All right. Who are you looking at here?
• 57:03
Speaker 1: Jack McPherson. Oh, we got Bama, Tennessee. Alabama at Tennessee.
• 57:07
Speaker 1: Both teams rocking their color uniforms. It's going to be fun.
• 57:10
Speaker 3: Should have been done a long time ago.
• 57:11
Speaker 1: Fall colors. Fall foliage. Foliage. And Knoxville, Tennessee. Very exciting.
• 57:15
Speaker 1: Alabama is favored at 8.5 right now. Total points in
• 57:19
Speaker 1: that game is 51.5. Is this a situation that we
• 57:25
Speaker 1: can kind of just all count to three and say
• 57:26
Speaker 1: who we're taking and then talk about it? Uh, no. Okay.
• 57:30
  Speaker 2: Go ahead, Will.
• 57:31
Speaker 1: You have the four. Oh, so we can't.
• 57:36
Speaker 3: Are you going to take Tennessee because you need to
• 57:38
Speaker 3: hold the pumpkin if you're going to take Tennessee?
• 57:40
Speaker 1: I'll hold the pumpkin.
• 57:41
  Speaker 3: There we go.
• 57:42
Speaker 1: Just because I want to hold the pumpkin.
• 57:47
Speaker 2: I think we, since that Texas game, we've all kind
• 57:50
Speaker 2: of understood that this offensive line is the worst kept
• 57:53
Speaker 2: secret in the SEC, that being Tennessee. We saw what
• 57:56
Speaker 2: Texas did, and Jack, I'm just going to look at you.
• 57:58
Speaker 2: We saw what Texas did to this offensive line. You've
• 58:01
Speaker 2: lost your left guard for the entire year. They got
• 58:03
Speaker 2: after Faison's ass, what, 10 different times?
• 58:06
Speaker 1: They pissed on him. Is Faison going? It hasn't been
• 58:11
Speaker 1: announced yet. He practiced yesterday. Either way. He's got to play.
• 58:15
Speaker 2: Faison Brandon, he's a work in progress. McIntyre ain't going
• 58:18
Speaker 2: to get the job done against Alabama.
• 58:23
Speaker 1: DeBoer is 6-0. after Alabama loses at home.
• 58:26
Speaker 2: 6-0. This is a good football. This is a top 10,
• 58:30
Speaker 2: arguably top five. We could get a rematch in the
• 58:33
Speaker 2: SEC championship between Alabama and Georgia. Now, Georgia showed you
• 58:40
Speaker 2: how you can beat Alabama.
• 58:41
Speaker 1: Just do you have those guys?
• 58:43
Speaker 2: It's win on early downs, and it's being able to
• 58:45
Speaker 2: get after quarterback. Cruz, I told you that last week.
• 58:48
Speaker 2: It's going to be Keylon Russell and that wide receiver group.
• 58:50
Speaker 2: Can they get after these first-rounders littered in the secondary
• 58:54
Speaker 2: with Georgia? I don't think that can happen. However, Tennessee,
• 58:58
Speaker 2: 25 sacks, 12.5% pressure sack rate. That is like top
• 59:03
Speaker 2: three in the country. I do think that they can
• 59:05
Speaker 2: get after them to where you're kind of keeping.
• 59:11
  Speaker 1: I don't know bro.
• 59:12
Speaker 5: Hey I just I don't know but hey just you
• 59:18
Speaker 5: saying that you're doing exactly what we're all feeling yeah
• 59:21
Speaker 5: like can Tennessee run the ball.
• 59:26
Speaker 2: Get after Keelan Russell a little bit on our early
• 59:29
Speaker 2: downs Or even keep him on the sideline. Can they
• 59:32
Speaker 2: keep that offense on the sideline because they can run
• 59:33
Speaker 2: the ball effectively? Here's where I'm going because it's at Neyland.
• 59:37
Speaker 2: And I have a lot of respect for the volunteers.
• 59:38
Speaker 2: I have a lot of respect for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
• 59:41
Speaker 2: They look damn good. I'm going under on this game.
• 59:43
Speaker 2: 51 and a half points. And I'm going to go
• 59:46
Speaker 2: three units on that. That's where I'm going. With the pumpkin.
• 59:51
  Speaker 1: With the pumpkin.
• 59:51
  Speaker 3: With the pumpkin.
• 59:55
Speaker 1: Buddy, like... I like the pass rush ability of Tennessee.
• 1:00:01
Speaker 1: Alabama is a damn good football team. And before the
• 1:00:03
Speaker 1: Georgia game, I think they were holding opponents to like
• 1:00:05
Speaker 1: in the 70s of rush yards per game. Obviously, Georgia,
• 1:00:08
Speaker 1: they went for 200 against them. I just don't think
• 1:00:12
Speaker 1: Tennessee has the offensive line to put Bishop in a
• 1:00:16
Speaker 1: position to rush for 200 yards. I think Keelung is
• 1:00:23
Speaker 1: as impressive as a first-year starting quarterback as we've seen
• 1:00:26
Speaker 1: in college football this year. And although his stat line
• 1:00:29
Speaker 1: wasn't great in this game, and there's a couple of
• 1:00:32
Speaker 1: times where he's feeling phantom pressure, he's a damn good quarterback.
• 1:00:37
Speaker 1: And I just don't know if Tennessee's going to be
• 1:00:38
Speaker 1: able to get that kind of pressure. They can run
• 1:00:41
Speaker 1: it a little bit better. Was it Brown had that
• 1:00:46
Speaker 1: 58-yard run? Like, other than that, they kind of rushed
• 1:00:49
Speaker 1: in the low hundreds. But... I just think Alabama has
• 1:00:54
Speaker 1: more weapons. Ryan Coleman Williams, he's out. He's not going
• 1:00:56
Speaker 1: to be playing this game, but they still have those
• 1:00:58
Speaker 1: three tight ends. Pritchett is sneaky. His little double move
• 1:01:01
Speaker 1: he had on that touchdown is impressive. All their tight
• 1:01:05
Speaker 1: ends across the board, I'm extremely impressed with. This offensive
• 1:01:09
Speaker 1: line is kind of moving a little bit, and they
• 1:01:10
Speaker 1: did great against an incredible run defense of Georgia. Your
• 1:01:14
Speaker 1: greatest weapons. is that fan base in Neyland. That is
• 1:01:19
Speaker 1: the reason why Alabama would not cover because with the
• 1:01:23
Speaker 1: injuries to the quarterback, your backup McIntyre, two interceptions and
• 1:01:28
Speaker 1: one on the ground fumble. Arkansas? Hey, road win. Road
• 1:01:33
Speaker 1: win in the SEC is a road win in the SEC.
• 1:01:35
Speaker 1: I know, I know, but Arkansas is sitting there saying, like,
• 1:01:38
Speaker 1: we are going to not go to the game. We're
• 1:01:41
Speaker 1: going to do a no-show out, is what they were
• 1:01:43
Speaker 1: doing a couple weeks ago. And now they're talking about
• 1:01:45
Speaker 1: every single loss we have, we're going to storm the
• 1:01:47
Speaker 1: field so Arkansas gets a $ 250, 000 fine until they fire,
• 1:01:51
Speaker 1: I don't know if it's the head coach or the
• 1:01:52
Speaker 1: AD or whoever it is. Like, it's just not good
• 1:01:56
Speaker 1: in Arkansas right now. Arkansas played man against you guys
• 1:02:00
Speaker 1: a bunch and basically said, we dare you. That fucking
• 1:02:03
Speaker 1: tickles coming back in my throat right now.
• 1:02:05
  Speaker 3: Finish.
• 1:02:08
Speaker 1: They're saying we dare you to throw the ball against us.
• 1:02:09
Speaker 1: You guys couldn't throw the ball against them. Alabama, they're
• 1:02:12
Speaker 1: susceptible in the secondary. Two explosive plays. You guys have
• 1:02:16
Speaker 1: the horses at wide receiver to get those explosive plays
• 1:02:20
Speaker 1: to happen. I just don't believe you have the quarterback
• 1:02:22
Speaker 1: to do it because even if Faison does play, he's
• 1:02:25
Speaker 1: a wounded animal and not in a good way. I
• 1:02:28
Speaker 1: hate it because this is the second time I'm going
• 1:02:31
Speaker 1: against Tennessee. And I hate that for you. And I
• 1:02:38
Speaker 1: hate that for our friendship. And I hate that... I'm
• 1:02:42
Speaker 1: going Alabama minus eight and a half. I hate that.
• 1:02:45
Speaker 3: Right in front of the pumpkin.
• 1:02:46
Speaker 1: In front of the pumpkin. And it literally, it hurt
• 1:02:49
Speaker 1: me so bad that my tickle's gone now. So I
• 1:02:55
Speaker 1: hate that. Jack's ready for war. I know that. He
• 1:02:59
Speaker 1: knows it's an uphill battle.
• 1:03:00
Speaker 3: Are you going to this game?
• 1:03:01
  Speaker 1: I won't be at the game. Well, there's 10 units.
• 1:03:05
Speaker 1: If you're not going to have Jack McPherson at the game.
• 1:03:08
Speaker 1: Like you are, you're an incredible fan. You do like
• 1:03:11
Speaker 1: to tread on fandom, but you're an incredible fan. And
• 1:03:15
Speaker 1: they need you in New England this weekend. They got
• 1:03:18
Speaker 1: me a ticket, I'll be there.
• 1:03:19
Speaker 2: Look, man, run the ball, limit explosive plays. You do that,
• 1:03:24
Speaker 2: you're going to have a shot because you guys have
• 1:03:26
  Speaker 2: the pattern.
• 1:03:27
  Speaker 1: You know that.
• 1:03:27
Speaker 2: I'm not telling you anything you don't know. That's what
• 1:03:29
Speaker 2: you're looking for. You can't let the explosives beat you,
• 1:03:31
Speaker 2: and you just got to be able to run the football.
• 1:03:34
Speaker 1: And I hate that number five kid. punching that Georgia
• 1:03:38
Speaker 1: player in the face, essentially putting them in the position
• 1:03:41
Speaker 1: to where Georgia can just knee it. And there's been
• 1:03:43
Speaker 1: like 10 guys on Alabama's team that's like, we stand
• 1:03:46
Speaker 1: with five, 10 toes down for five. This team is
• 1:03:51
Speaker 1: kind of dialed. Josh, give them some hope.
• 1:03:53
  Speaker 3: It's just a knife in the neck. I don't think
• 1:03:55
Speaker 3: they're going to be– I don't think– if you can
• 1:03:57
Speaker 3: keep a close game, I trust you to be able
• 1:03:59
Speaker 3: to run the ball. I mean, I trust Bishop to
• 1:04:01
Speaker 3: be able to run for 150-plus against Alabama. The problem
• 1:04:04
Speaker 3: is if they get a lead on you. and they
• 1:04:06
Speaker 3: start stretching the game, you've got to throw to get
• 1:04:08
Speaker 3: back in the game. If Bama, and I think this
• 1:04:10
Speaker 3: will happen, if Bama ends up putting Tennessee in a
• 1:04:13
Speaker 3: position where they've got to trade points, I just don't
• 1:04:16
Speaker 3: trust them at quarterback to be able to trade points.
• 1:04:18
Speaker 3: They're pretty good at receiver. I trust Mike Matthews. And
• 1:04:21
Speaker 3: wide receiver ones have given Alabama's secondary a little bit
• 1:04:24
Speaker 3: of trouble. Red zone numbers here. Bama's 27 of 27
• 1:04:28
Speaker 3: in the red zone. They have scored 23 touchdowns down there.
• 1:04:32
Speaker 3: So when they get down there, typically they've been scoring.
• 1:04:35
Speaker 3: Tennessee's only been in the red zone 18 times, and
• 1:04:38
  Speaker 3: 14 of those were touchdowns, so 17 of 18. They've
• 1:04:42
Speaker 3: got to create more scoring opportunities. You can't count on
• 1:04:45
Speaker 3: 20 points winning the game. You can't count on 24
• 1:04:48
Speaker 3: points winning the game, maybe 24 covers, but I'm not
• 1:04:51
Speaker 3: sure it wins. You'll find out a lot about Alabama here.
• 1:04:54
Speaker 3: Coming out of the Georgia-Bama game, I don't know how
• 1:04:57
Speaker 3: you two felt, but I saw a lot of people
• 1:04:58
Speaker 3: out there say, I think Georgia's the best team in
• 1:05:00
Speaker 3: the country. Hey man, I think Alabama may be right
• 1:05:03
Speaker 3: there with them. Second, third best team in the country.
• 1:05:05
Speaker 3: So I don't doubt that about Georgia. I still think
• 1:05:07
Speaker 3: you kind of got to find that out about Alabama.
• 1:05:09
Speaker 3: You're not going to get run on for over 200
• 1:05:11
Speaker 3: yards by a third string tailback, albeit a really good one.
• 1:05:14
Speaker 3: You're not going to get sliced like that on third
• 1:05:16
Speaker 3: down at home and have me say, oh yeah, man,
• 1:05:19
Speaker 3: you're the slam dunk number two team in the country.
• 1:05:21
Speaker 3: There's still a little bit of proof to me from Alabama.
• 1:05:23
Speaker 3: You got a quarterback that is insanely talented, but he's
• 1:05:27
Speaker 3: been sacked second most times of any quarterback in the SEC.
• 1:05:31
Speaker 3: You're probably without your starting center this week against Xavier Gilliam, who,
• 1:05:35
Speaker 3: I mean, I heard Kubrick talking the other day about
• 1:05:37
Speaker 3: all the love Colin Simmons gets and whatnot. Gilliam's probably
• 1:05:40
Speaker 3: the best defensive player in the SEC right now. So, like,
• 1:05:42
Speaker 3: there are a lot of reasons you could lean Tennessee.
• 1:05:44
  Speaker 3: I didn't even mention home field. I didn't even mention
• 1:05:46
Speaker 3: what's happened the last two times this game's happened in
• 1:05:48
Speaker 3: that building. That's all the more reason to be razor
• 1:05:51
Speaker 3: focused and make sure you grab a lead, make sure
• 1:05:53
Speaker 3: they have to trade points, because eventually if Tennessee has
• 1:05:56
Speaker 3: to trade points, they're going to turn the ball over.
• 1:05:58
Speaker 3: So I think I'll take Alabama minus eight and a half.
• 1:06:01
Speaker 3: Two units. Not a massive confidence game, but yeah, I
• 1:06:04
Speaker 3: think they'll win in cover. Two units.
• 1:06:08
Speaker 1: God, I hated that one.
• 1:06:09
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 1:06:10
Speaker 1: I hated having to do that.
• 1:06:11
Speaker 3: I was so ready to take that pumpkin if I
• 1:06:13
Speaker 3: was going to take Tennessee though.
• 1:06:15
Speaker 1: And shout out Gilliam.
• 1:06:17
Speaker 3: What a player, man.
• 1:06:18
  Speaker 1: Dude, yeah.
• 1:06:19
Speaker 2: Even that Texas game, that was the dude showing up
• 1:06:21
Speaker 2: play after play in the backfield.
• 1:06:24
Speaker 1: Gravely game of the week. So we're busting the pay
• 1:06:25
Speaker 1: on campus will be this week in Bloomington, Indiana. Ohio State, Indiana.
• 1:06:31
Speaker 1: Ohio State's favorite minus three and a half. Total points
• 1:06:33
Speaker 1: that game is 50 and a half right now. Where
• 1:06:37
Speaker 1: I kind of sit is like, Indiana's kind of, have
• 1:06:41
Speaker 1: they earned the right for us to just kind of
• 1:06:43
Speaker 1: like bet on them until they prove us wrong? Or
• 1:06:47
Speaker 1: did Nebraska show a lot of holes that Indiana has.
• 1:06:51
Speaker 1: Because up until that game, Turbo Richards, like, he was
• 1:06:54
Speaker 1: rushing for 143 yards a game. You guys held him to, what, 40?
• 1:06:57
Speaker 1: 40 yards? Less than that? Right? Completely took away their
• 1:07:01
Speaker 1: run game. You've already talked about the explosives. Matt Patricia,
• 1:07:06
Speaker 1: you have to assume, is, like, probably not going to
• 1:07:08
Speaker 1: have you guys giving up explosives. Like, especially a quick
• 1:07:11
Speaker 1: RPO slant to Nick Marsh or a fourth and one that,
• 1:07:17
Speaker 1: I don't know what Nebraska was doing in that situation.
• 1:07:20
Speaker 1: Does Ohio State do that?
• 1:07:22
  Speaker 2: No.
• 1:07:23
Speaker 3: I'll go ahead and tell you, no.
• 1:07:25
  Speaker 1: Right.
• 1:07:26
Speaker 2: A lot of it, too, is predicated on who were
• 1:07:29
Speaker 2: making those right decisions. Defensively, you have to be so
• 1:07:32
Speaker 2: uniformed and so focused on what your job is that
• 1:07:34
Speaker 2: play to where you don't let Becker and Marsh, they
• 1:07:37
Speaker 2: are unreal at receiver.
• 1:07:40
  Speaker 1: Hoover hasn't turned the ball over. I've said he's a
• 1:07:43
Speaker 1: turnover waiting to happen.
• 1:07:44
Speaker 2: I felt like even some of the balls he was
• 1:07:45
Speaker 2: throwing that windy Nebraska game.
• 1:07:47
Speaker 1: Like it was going to come up for us. It didn't.
• 1:07:51
Speaker 2: I think Ohio State's going to be able to stop
• 1:07:53
Speaker 2: the run here, kind of do the same thing. But again,
• 1:07:55
Speaker 2: it comes down to are the guys on the outside,
• 1:07:57
Speaker 2: do they have, you know, what is the plan.
• 1:08:01
Speaker 1: When you got those guys on the edge?
• 1:08:02
Speaker 2: Because I feel like those receivers are still going to
• 1:08:05
Speaker 2: find a way to get theirs. And I feel like Hoover,
• 1:08:07
Speaker 2: he's played well enough to where he's going to make
• 1:08:09
Speaker 2: those right reads. When they come up, Ohio State, it's
• 1:08:14
Speaker 2: this Indiana. I'm assuming that they're going to have a
• 1:08:17
Speaker 2: plan for Jeremiah Smith, but every team has had a plan.
• 1:08:21
Speaker 2: To stop Jeremiah Smith, just nobody has been able to
• 1:08:24
Speaker 2: do it. I do think Indiana secondary is a little
• 1:08:27
Speaker 2: pedestrian to where it's like, how are you going to
• 1:08:30
Speaker 2: between the run game? Because Arthur Smith loves to just
• 1:08:33
Speaker 2: jam it down your throat over and over. And then
• 1:08:35
Speaker 2: you're just going to have Jeremiah Smith downfield up top.
• 1:08:38
Speaker 2: It's if this becomes a fourth quarter game. Who do
• 1:08:41
Speaker 2: you trust more in the fourth quarter? We saw what
• 1:08:44
Speaker 2: Indiana did last week against Nebraska. We saw what Ohio
• 1:08:47
Speaker 2: State did in week whatever that was, week two or
• 1:08:51
Speaker 2: three against Texas. I would trust Indiana more if this
• 1:08:54
  Speaker 2: becomes a fourth quarter game. I mean, I don't I
• 1:08:59
  Speaker 2: don't know.
• 1:08:59
Speaker 1: I don't know this is one of those games because.
• 1:09:02
Speaker 2: I'm in I'm in Husker land You know what I mean?
• 1:09:06
Speaker 2: To me, it's all about the response Nebraska has going
• 1:09:09
Speaker 2: out to Oregon. If Nebraska is that tough of a
• 1:09:12
Speaker 2: football team or if it was just a spot where
• 1:09:14
Speaker 2: Indiana subtly overlooked the Huskers going into Lincoln. Because if
• 1:09:20
Speaker 2: it's what we witnessed on Saturday, I love Ohio State.
• 1:09:25
Speaker 2: But if it's one of those spots where Indiana, like
• 1:09:28
Speaker 2: Cignetti was saying in the post-game presser, it just took
• 1:09:31
Speaker 2: It took everybody. It still hasn't hit them that they
• 1:09:32
Speaker 2: won that game. It took scratch and claw. It has
• 1:09:36
Speaker 2: a lot of good value because they got out of
• 1:09:37
Speaker 2: there with a win off of four explosive plays. Now
• 1:09:40
Speaker 2: they come alive and they're Indiana. I have no clue.
• 1:09:45
Speaker 2: I'm going to go two units. I'm just going to
• 1:09:46
Speaker 2: take Ohio State to cover three and a half. If
• 1:09:50
Speaker 2: this is a fourth quarter game, you're going to have
• 1:09:52
Speaker 2: to feel good if you're an Indiana fan. I would
• 1:09:55
Speaker 2: like Indiana a lot more in that spot.
• 1:09:57
Speaker 1: The thing that It's interesting, but the games at Indiana
• 1:10:01
Speaker 1: clearly struggled. Northwestern and Nebraska. Both those quarterbacks were very
• 1:10:07
Speaker 1: mobile quarterbacks, able to run around and extend plays with
• 1:10:10
Speaker 1: their legs. Julian Sane is not that cat. And I
• 1:10:14
Speaker 1: love to think at some point there's going to be
• 1:10:16
Speaker 1: a plan for Jeremiah Smith to at least not... You'll
• 1:10:21
Speaker 1: never stop him, but contain him in a certain sense.
• 1:10:23
Speaker 1: Because David McEwen, he's the next guy in receptions and yards,
• 1:10:28
Speaker 1: but it's like, I think, I don't know how many yards.
• 1:10:31
  Speaker 3: 245.
• 1:10:32
  Speaker 1: He's got 245 and 17 receptions, but I'm thinking about
• 1:10:34
Speaker 1: Jeremiah Smith. He's got, what, 44 receptions and over 800.
• 1:10:38
  Speaker 1: So there's a huge drop-off. if I'm just blindly looking
• 1:10:42
Speaker 1: at stats and I'm like, okay, I think I can
• 1:10:44
Speaker 1: stop one player, but on Indiana side, they got Becker
• 1:10:47
Speaker 1: and Marsh where it's like, that's more difficult to game
• 1:10:50
Speaker 1: plan against because you have two guys that can take
• 1:10:51
Speaker 1: the top off, two guys that run really good routes
• 1:10:54
Speaker 1: and a quarterback that's taking care.
• 1:10:55
Speaker 3: Of the football at home.
• 1:10:57
Speaker 1: So with San being more of a statue in the backfield,
• 1:11:03
Speaker 1: love Arthur Smith's run game. We were in the group
• 1:11:05
Speaker 1: chat with him, the plays they've been running and how
• 1:11:07
Speaker 1: they've been doing it. Like, To me, that is the
• 1:11:09
Speaker 1: perfect style of run you should have because you get
• 1:11:11
Speaker 1: people going east and west, then you hit them down
• 1:11:12
Speaker 1: the middle with duo and tight zone. I could definitely
• 1:11:17
Speaker 1: see Ohio State walking away with this W. I'm going
• 1:11:19
Speaker 1: to take Indiana with the points at home and Cignetti.
• 1:11:22
Speaker 1: I'm kind of in this process now where Indiana's won
• 1:11:25
Speaker 1: so much. and done it in so many different ways
• 1:11:28
Speaker 1: that I have to give them the benefit of the
• 1:11:31
Speaker 1: doubt to this point. And if I'm wrong, I'm wrong,
• 1:11:34
Speaker 1: but he's kind of like earned it in my opinion.
• 1:11:36
Speaker 1: Like was it 22 games in a row they've won?
• 1:11:40
Speaker 1: So for me, it's I'll take the points plus three
• 1:11:44
Speaker 1: and a half Indiana at home. I put three units
• 1:11:47
Speaker 1: on it because three is my new one this week.
• 1:11:50
Speaker 1: And that's how I feel. A question for the group
• 1:11:53
Speaker 1: or for anyone watching. Why do people think Indiana has
• 1:11:57
Speaker 1: to limit Jeremiah Smith? Why do they think limiting or
• 1:12:02
Speaker 1: shutting down Jeremiah Smith is some prerequisite to Indiana winning
• 1:12:05
Speaker 1: this game? I don't understand your question fully.
• 1:12:09
Speaker 3: Well, Big Ten Championship game last year.
• 1:12:11
Speaker 1: Jeremiah Smith, yeah, Jeremiah Smith last year was still balling.
• 1:12:15
Speaker 3: Dude went eight catches for 144. Ohio State scored 10 points.
• 1:12:20
Speaker 3: So what if I just don't even worry about that? Yeah,
• 1:12:23
Speaker 3: you can't let him go off for 250 and four scores.
• 1:12:25
Speaker 3: That's a different thing. But I don't even waste time saying, man,
• 1:12:29
Speaker 3: what are they going to do about Jeremiah Smith? What
• 1:12:31
Speaker 3: they're going to do is fight hard to contain him.
• 1:12:34
Speaker 3: He's going to get his anyway because he'll get it
• 1:12:36
Speaker 3: against anyone. And then you've got to figure out how
• 1:12:38
Speaker 3: to win the game anyway. And the way you figure
• 1:12:39
Speaker 3: out how to win the game is, number one, you've
• 1:12:41
Speaker 3: got to have a lot more rushing success than you
• 1:12:44
Speaker 3: did against Nebraska. Like Indiana– has the number 19 rushing
• 1:12:49
Speaker 3: outfit right now. But you watched them last week. That
• 1:12:52
Speaker 3: was very, very tough sledding. This Ohio State defensive front,
• 1:12:56
Speaker 3: the thing about Ohio State, which I think is the
• 1:12:57
Speaker 3: best team in the country right now from a power
• 1:12:59
Speaker 3: ratings perspective, they've got an elite wide receiver. Offensive line,
• 1:13:04
Speaker 3: would you call that group elite defensive? so they're good
• 1:13:08
  Speaker 3: there's a lot of there's a lot of really they're
• 1:13:09
Speaker 3: a great outfit there's a lot of really good yeah
• 1:13:11
Speaker 3: defensive front a lot of really good pass rush kenyatta
• 1:13:14
Speaker 3: jackson's been been pretty good but like there's not look
• 1:13:17
Speaker 3: at that elite unit so you just got to get
• 1:13:19
Speaker 3: it done against them also i think we may be
• 1:13:22
Speaker 3: undervaluing what home field is going to be for indiana
• 1:13:26
Speaker 3: here everyone's talking about it with brigham young this is
• 1:13:28
Speaker 3: the biggest game in the history of this place So
• 1:13:31
Speaker 3: think about how on fire it's going to be. Not
• 1:13:33
Speaker 3: that Ohio State hasn't had to go into places like
• 1:13:35
Speaker 3: that before. They just went into Iowa a couple of
• 1:13:37
Speaker 3: weeks ago and slammed the door on them. And I'm
• 1:13:39
Speaker 3: sure that place was pretty lively. But the first thing
• 1:13:42
Speaker 3: is you've got to be able to run the ball.
• 1:13:43
Speaker 3: And number two, with those receivers, like it was very misleading.
• 1:13:48
Speaker 3: Hoover's stat line was very misleading last week because there
• 1:13:50
Speaker 3: were a couple of X plays that really fattened up
• 1:13:53
Speaker 3: his total passing yardage. I think they just got to
• 1:13:55
Speaker 3: put more on his plate and trust him. Like he
• 1:13:57
Speaker 3: was turnover prone at TCU and he hasn't turned the
• 1:14:00
Speaker 3: ball over yet and everyone keeps waiting on it. But
• 1:14:03
Speaker 3: Indiana does not strike me as the kind of outfit
• 1:14:05
Speaker 3: that coaches scared or that like game plans from a,
• 1:14:09
Speaker 3: like a trepidatious standpoint. You got the players, you got
• 1:14:12
Speaker 3: to trust them to make plays. Now, if you're going
• 1:14:14
Speaker 3: to hold Ohio state to 10, forget about what I
• 1:14:16
Speaker 3: just said. You could scratch out 13 points again. I
• 1:14:18
Speaker 3: just don't think you can count on that. But at
• 1:14:20
Speaker 3: the same time, Julian saying not mobile, not nearly the
• 1:14:23
Speaker 3: mobile threat that Northwestern was or the Calandria was at Nebraska.
• 1:14:27
Speaker 3: I'm just not picking against them until they lose. So
• 1:14:29
  Speaker 3: I'll take Nebraska or I'll take a... Yes, sir. I
• 1:14:33
Speaker 3: did and I won. I'll take Indiana plus three and
• 1:14:35
Speaker 3: a half for three units.
• 1:14:37
  Speaker 1: Okay.
• 1:14:38
  Speaker 3: Three units.
• 1:14:39
Speaker 1: I feel better about my vet now. Because this is
• 1:14:41
Speaker 1: another one. Really, Alabama, Tennessee was the only one I
• 1:14:43
Speaker 1: was like, I feel really that in BYU and Notre
• 1:14:45
Speaker 1: Dame until you went to the under. That I felt
• 1:14:48
  Speaker 1: really good about.
• 1:14:50
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 1:14:50
Speaker 1: It is going to be interesting, man. How do they
• 1:14:52
Speaker 1: get more people involved in the passing game? Because, yeah,
• 1:14:57
Speaker 1: 180 is limiting Jeremiah Smith, which is nuts.
• 1:15:00
Speaker 3: Here's what I wonder. You went and watched back the
• 1:15:02
Speaker 3: whole Nebraska-Indiana game, right? Okay, how much meat was left
• 1:15:07
Speaker 3: on the bone from a passing perspective for Indiana? Or
• 1:15:12
Speaker 3: did they pretty well get clamped down on?
• 1:15:15
Speaker 1: There were a few.
• 1:15:17
Speaker 2: I thought you were going to ask how much more
• 1:15:18
Speaker 2: meat was on the bone for Nebraska's passing offense because
• 1:15:20
Speaker 2: there was a lot of meat left on the bone
• 1:15:22
Speaker 2: for Nebraska's passing offense.
• 1:15:23
Speaker 1: Let's talk about it.
• 1:15:25
Speaker 2: They're so predicated on running the ball in the RPO scheme.
• 1:15:29
Speaker 2: For the most part, it's like you look at Andrew
• 1:15:31
Speaker 2: Marshall on the other side. There was one that Hoover missed.
• 1:15:34
Speaker 2: So to your point, they could have had another explosive
• 1:15:37
Speaker 2: that would have went for 99 to Marsh that Hoover
• 1:15:41
Speaker 2: just missed and overthrew because he had 22 and a
• 1:15:44
Speaker 2: blender on the double move. So a little bit, but
• 1:15:49
Speaker 2: it's so much off of the RPO versus, to your point,
• 1:15:52
Speaker 2: like trusting him, dropping back and throwing. I just feel
• 1:15:55
Speaker 2: like Indiana's identity is being able to run the football
• 1:15:57
Speaker 2: and then taking advantage of matchups.
• 1:15:59
Speaker 1: Once you know you're running the ball successfully, they're stacking the.
• 1:16:02
Speaker 2: Box the right way, and you just catch a corner
• 1:16:04
Speaker 2: or somebody just sitting on their heels to where you
• 1:16:07
Speaker 2: have the back shoulder. You have all things, the go ball,
• 1:16:09
Speaker 2: the slant, everything in between. That's what they're predicated on.
• 1:16:13
Speaker 1: So there is meat on the bone?
• 1:16:16
Speaker 2: Yeah. There's one explosive that I'm thinking about that Hoover
• 1:16:18
Speaker 2: overthrew that would have went for seven.
• 1:16:20
  Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
• 1:16:21
Speaker 2: That's coming to top of mind. I'm sure that there
• 1:16:23
Speaker 2: might be a couple others, but for the most part,
• 1:16:25
Speaker 2: like Nebraska defensively played their ass off.
• 1:16:27
Speaker 3: You just remember this Ohio State team last couple of
• 1:16:29
Speaker 3: years against Indiana, against Miami. Like there have been a
• 1:16:34
Speaker 3: couple of instances where teams have just taken it to
• 1:16:37
Speaker 3: them physically and they didn't answer the bell. And like
• 1:16:41
Speaker 3: they pride themselves on being able to do that.
• 1:16:43
  Speaker 1: I know.
• 1:16:43
Speaker 3: But this is one where you got to take it
• 1:16:46
Speaker 3: to him physically. You've got all those defensive guys back.
• 1:16:49
Speaker 3: Stephen Daly, for example, is back. That's such a huge deal.
• 1:16:51
Speaker 3: The moment you see the headline, Stephen Daly's eligible to
• 1:16:54
Speaker 3: play again this year for Indiana, you think about games
• 1:16:57
Speaker 3: like this, and you think about his ability to take
• 1:17:00
Speaker 3: over and wreck from the interior, and you don't have
• 1:17:03
Speaker 3: a cat that can just spill out and gain 15
• 1:17:05
Speaker 3: yards in a first down like some of the other
• 1:17:07
Speaker 3: quarterbacks that they've faced so far that Indiana's faced. So
• 1:17:10
Speaker 3: I'm going to take them plus the points.
• 1:17:15
  Speaker 1: Three innings.
• 1:17:15
  Speaker 3: Yep, three units.
• 1:17:16
Speaker 1: All right. Super slate. Super slate bonus games. Who would
• 1:17:23
Speaker 1: like to go first?
• 1:17:25
Speaker 2: Super slate bonus. I'm going to talk about Oklahoma State Houston.
• 1:17:30
Speaker 2: Here's what I want to say off the top. Connor Wegman,
• 1:17:34
  Speaker 2: good ball player.
• 1:17:34
  Speaker 1: Great ball player.
• 1:17:35
Speaker 2: I had some things to say about him last week.
• 1:17:37
Speaker 2: Good ball player. 21 combined TDs. That's second in the FBS.
• 1:17:41
Speaker 2: The only He's the only quarterback with 15 passing touchdowns
• 1:17:44
Speaker 2: and five rushing touchdowns.
• 1:17:45
  Speaker 1: Good ball player.
• 1:17:46
Speaker 2: Second hottest quarterback in the Big 12. The hottest quarterback
• 1:17:49
Speaker 2: in the Big 12 is Drew Master Maker. He's had, what,
• 1:17:53
Speaker 2: over 300 yards and two touchdowns the last three games.
• 1:17:56
Speaker 2: This offense is averaging over 500 in totality over their
• 1:18:00
Speaker 2: last four. This is a great game. If this was
• 1:18:03
Speaker 2: in Stillwater, part of me believes that Boston paid on
• 1:18:06
Speaker 2: campus might be in Stillwater. Because this is a sneaky
• 1:18:10
Speaker 2: game of the week right here. I'm taking Okie State
• 1:18:12
Speaker 2: plus four and a half against Houston. Wouldn't be surprised
• 1:18:17
Speaker 2: if Houston wins by a field goal. But I'm taking
• 1:18:19
Speaker 2: Okie State with the points. I love Mastermaker. I love
• 1:18:21
Speaker 2: that offense. I think they keep it rolling on Houston.
• 1:18:24
Speaker 2: It's all about third down. Like Connor Wegman. They're the
• 1:18:27
Speaker 2: number one team in the country on third down conversion rate.
• 1:18:31
Speaker 2: If Okie State just gets a couple stops or they
• 1:18:33
Speaker 2: get him to turn the ball over, this will be
• 1:18:36
Speaker 2: Okie State because Drew Messamaker is that dude. That offense
• 1:18:39
Speaker 2: is nice. So it's all going to be predicated on
• 1:18:41
Speaker 2: third down this game.
• 1:18:43
Speaker 3: FanDuel, by the way, available in Texas, Yeah in Florida
• 1:18:48
Speaker 3: in Georgia So if you're at.
• 1:18:51
Speaker 1: Home watching you're in Texas, Florida and Georgia just know
• 1:18:53
Speaker 1: that FanDuel is now available.
• 1:18:54
Speaker 2: Hmm get in on the action pick against us against
• 1:18:56
Speaker 2: the spread that's free and you can get yourself a
• 1:18:59
Speaker 2: profit boost token If you beat one of.
• 1:19:00
Speaker 1: Us, yeah, which has shown it's not that difficult to do. Yeah,
• 1:19:03
Speaker 1: usually if you get that six out of ten mark, right?
• 1:19:06
  Speaker 1: You're getting a proper boost.
• 1:19:07
Speaker 2: Yeah. And while you're at it, if you're watching, make
• 1:19:09
Speaker 2: sure you are subscribed to the channel as you're watching.
• 1:19:11
Speaker 1: I'm going to quickly go over. I got two super slates.
• 1:19:14
Speaker 1: I'm going to quickly go over them both. All right.
• 1:19:16
Speaker 1: Mississippi State at LSU. LSU's having their worst start since 2023.
• 1:19:19
Speaker 1: A lot of people are off the kipping train right now.
• 1:19:22
Speaker 1: This is a must-win situation for LSU, for Blake Baker
• 1:19:26
Speaker 1: and that defense. If Kamario Taylor plays... I like Mississippi
• 1:19:31
Speaker 1: State covering these points because with as much as LSU blitzes,
• 1:19:35
Speaker 1: there's a lot of holes in that zone defense. I
• 1:19:37
Speaker 1: don't believe that Kamario Taylor is going to play. And
• 1:19:40
Speaker 1: for that reason, this is a massive get-right spot for LSU.
• 1:19:43
Speaker 1: Love the storyline of Mississippi State so far. However, a
• 1:19:47
Speaker 1: lot of that revolves around Kamario Taylor. All of it
• 1:19:49
Speaker 1: technically revolves around Kamario Taylor. Without him, I like LSU.
• 1:19:52
Speaker 1: I don't care what time the game is at LSU.
• 1:19:54
Speaker 2: If they don't got Kamario Taylor, it's a wrap.
• 1:19:56
Speaker 1: It's going to be a bloodbath. That game....
• 1:19:59
Speaker 3: It's probably going to be without Kamario Taylor. I think
• 1:20:01
Speaker 3: LSU will run away with it. That's not why I
• 1:20:02
Speaker 3: pointed at you. I can't wait to hear what you
• 1:20:06
Speaker 3: say about the other game that you have on the
• 1:20:09
Speaker 3: tip of your tongue, because you said you have two.
• 1:20:11
Speaker 1: Yeah, you're talking about the number one logo game of
• 1:20:13
Speaker 1: the week, Penn State and Michigan.
• 1:20:16
Speaker 3: Do we have a network for that one yet?
• 1:20:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, I think the Food Channel picked it up. I
• 1:20:21
Speaker 1: think the Food Channel picked this game up. This game
• 1:20:23
Speaker 1: is a game that... This is where busting a paint
• 1:20:26
Speaker 1: on campus should be this week. I mean, this should
• 1:20:29
Speaker 1: be two teams early in the year being like, winner
• 1:20:32
Speaker 1: of this game, puts themselves in the college football playoff,
• 1:20:36
Speaker 1: regardless of what happens after this. Obviously, just in the corner,
• 1:20:39
Speaker 1: he's sad boy over there. I'm sad boy for Michigan.
• 1:20:42
Speaker 1: Just lost to Minnesota and it has a bye week
• 1:20:44
Speaker 1: and then we have text messages leaking everywhere.
• 1:20:47
Speaker 2: You'd almost be in a good spot knowing that Michigan's
• 1:20:49
Speaker 2: on a bye week, but then you got to go
• 1:20:50
Speaker 2: from getting whooped by Minnesota, the whole blood thing, sprinting in,
• 1:20:55
Speaker 2: diving on his team, to then watch Minnesota go out
• 1:20:58
Speaker 2: and get their shit pushed in by a team.
• 1:21:00
Speaker 1: Like the Purdue Boilermakers.
• 1:21:02
Speaker 3: Just thrown in a wood chipper.
• 1:21:03
Speaker 1: Yeah, like maybe Minnesota is good. Nope, you just got
• 1:21:06
Speaker 1: killed by Purdue. Yeah, that... I really appreciate you bringing
• 1:21:10
Speaker 1: that up and resurfacing. It's almost like when Minnesota beat
• 1:21:14
Speaker 1: the shit out of Nebraska, and you think, oh shit,
• 1:21:16
Speaker 1: Minnesota's really good, and then they get their shit pushed
• 1:21:18
Speaker 1: in the week after that. That's why I like Michigan
• 1:21:20
Speaker 1: minus 6.5. Wounded animals.
• 1:21:23
  Speaker 2: Double wounded animals.
• 1:21:26
Speaker 1: What is going to happen with Campbell? I don't know.
• 1:21:28
Speaker 1: We got totals in this game. I don't know who's
• 1:21:30
Speaker 1: circling it right now, but 42.5. To hell with it.
• 1:21:34
Speaker 1: To hell with the totals in this game. At some point, dude,
• 1:21:38
Speaker 1: we have to figure out who Bryce Underwood is. I
• 1:21:41
Speaker 1: had a thing about end of the fray, Oklahoma, they
• 1:21:43
Speaker 1: win that game. I'm like, oh my God, we've learned
• 1:21:46
Speaker 1: everything we need to learn about Michigan. Turns out, you
• 1:21:50
Speaker 1: always got to keep learning no matter what. Okay? And
• 1:21:52
Speaker 1: what I've learned is, lost against Iowa, I absolutely love
• 1:21:56
Speaker 1: this team, almost 500 yards offense. Lost against Minnesota, I
• 1:22:00
Speaker 1: got a gun in my mouth. So there's two different,
• 1:22:02
Speaker 1: the tale of two cities taking place with LeJuan. They
• 1:22:05
Speaker 1: go into the bye week. Whittingham goes, we're not meeting
• 1:22:09
Speaker 1: our standard. We're not handling business the way we are.
• 1:22:11
Speaker 1: There's a lot that has to change. We have to
• 1:22:13
Speaker 1: get a lot done. A whole week of practice goes by.
• 1:22:16
Speaker 1: It's quiet in Ann Arbor. No one said a whole
• 1:22:18
Speaker 1: lot of words. Monday coming up, Kyle Whittingham steps on
• 1:22:21
Speaker 1: the podium and they go, coach, you broke it down.
• 1:22:25
Speaker 1: What changes? That rhino position you guys are running a
• 1:22:27
Speaker 1: lot with the extra offensive lineman might hurt you in
• 1:22:29
Speaker 1: the pass game a little bit. You're going to change that?
• 1:22:32
Speaker 1: We're not going to change that.
• 1:22:33
  Speaker 2: No.
• 1:22:34
Speaker 1: No doubt. But Tommy Carr, he's come in. Every time
• 1:22:37
Speaker 1: he's had a couple of snaps, he looks pretty nice, right?
• 1:22:39
Speaker 1: That deep ball he had to that freshman wide receiver,
• 1:22:42
Speaker 1: Celeste Moa. Maybe get him some more snaps, huh? We're
• 1:22:46
Speaker 1: going to roll with Bryce Underwood, actually, is what we're doing. Ah, yes.
• 1:22:49
Speaker 1: But Beck, his play calling has been phenomenal. They're going
• 1:22:52
Speaker 1: a little too much east to west. We're going to
• 1:22:54
Speaker 1: change it up a little bit and go downhill, right? No.
• 1:22:58
Speaker 1: We've got to write where they want them. The only
• 1:23:00
Speaker 1: thing that matters is the turnovers and the penalties. That's
• 1:23:02
Speaker 1: the only thing that matters. Who cares if we're not
• 1:23:05
Speaker 1: efficient in the run game? But I believe in the
• 1:23:10
Speaker 1: maize and blue. I believe in the wing helmet. I
• 1:23:12
Speaker 1: hate the fact that this is six and a half.
• 1:23:13
Speaker 1: I love the logos in this game, huh? I love
• 1:23:17
Speaker 1: the logos in this game. Michigan's going to run it
• 1:23:21
Speaker 1: down their throat, dude, in and out of Michigan. Bryce Underwood,
• 1:23:23
Speaker 1: I'm talking about three TDs. All of a sudden, he's
• 1:23:26
Speaker 1: going to be able to dissect the defense. It's out there.
• 1:23:28
Speaker 1: It's out there for the taking. All of a sudden.
• 1:23:30
Speaker 1: All of a sudden. Someone's got to click for a
• 1:23:32
Speaker 1: young lad eventually, right? Maybe somebody's been in his headset
• 1:23:34
Speaker 1: too much saying, you have to go to this guy
• 1:23:36
Speaker 1: right away or that guy right away. And he doesn't
• 1:23:38
Speaker 1: even break down the defense. We're going Michigan.
• 1:23:43
  Speaker 3: One unit.
• 1:23:44
Speaker 1: Minus six and a half, by the way. I'm doing
• 1:23:46
Speaker 1: the one unit on LSU as well, plus 14F. So
• 1:23:49
Speaker 1: I guess I have multiple games this week. Do I
• 1:23:51
Speaker 1: feel good about it? No. But something's got to give eventually,
• 1:23:57
Speaker 1: you know? Yeah. Something's got to give. Whittingham's got to
• 1:24:00
Speaker 1: be the guy. Because I just talked about Dan Lanning
• 1:24:04
Speaker 1: and what I would do if he was in Michigan,
• 1:24:06
Speaker 1: what I would do to our bus. I want that
• 1:24:09
Speaker 1: feeling about Kyle Whittingham. What does your computer say?
• 1:24:15
Speaker 3: You've seen Independence Day, the movie?
• 1:24:17
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I've seen it.
• 1:24:19
Speaker 3: You know when the aliens have already invaded and the U.S.
• 1:24:22
Speaker 3: government is trying to figure out a way to destroy
• 1:24:24
Speaker 3: the aliens, and they go to the last resort. They
• 1:24:27
Speaker 3: break glass, press this button in case of last resort,
• 1:24:30
Speaker 3: and they press it. And they launch nuclear weapons against
• 1:24:34
Speaker 3: the spaceship. Yeah. The nuclear weapons go off. There's chaos
• 1:24:38
Speaker 3: and carnage and smoke and everyone's celebrating and someone's over
• 1:24:42
Speaker 3: in the corner saying, can we get confirmation? Target has
• 1:24:44
Speaker 3: been destroyed. And then the smoke clears and it's like,
• 1:24:49
Speaker 3: Target remains. I feel like that's Michigan. I feel like
• 1:24:54
Speaker 3: you're trying to make the changes. You're hoping for Bryce
• 1:24:56
Speaker 3: Underwood to turn the corner. You'll win the game. You
• 1:24:59
Speaker 3: win the game before I finish this statement.
• 1:25:00
Speaker 1: Okay, good. Thank God.
• 1:25:01
Speaker 3: Because you were looking at me in a very, very
• 1:25:04
Speaker 3: vulnerable state right now.
• 1:25:05
Speaker 1: I feel like a little boy.
• 1:25:06
Speaker 3: I feel like a little boy just now. I'm going
• 1:25:07
Speaker 3: to get you some presents for Christmas. Yeah, there'll be
• 1:25:10
Speaker 3: something under the tree. It's just not going to be
• 1:25:12
Speaker 3: a good quarterback. What if he's just not good? What
• 1:25:17
Speaker 3: if he's just not good? Look, statement you made. We
• 1:25:21
Speaker 3: keep waiting to figure out who Bryce Underwood is.
• 1:25:24
Speaker 1: What if we know? What if he's just not good?
• 1:25:27
Speaker 1: We don't know yet.
• 1:25:29
Speaker 2: Whittingham in that interview, too, where he's like, oh, you
• 1:25:32
Speaker 2: look at Beck, his history, his track record, like, he's good.
• 1:25:36
  Speaker 1: He's a good OC. Like, there's a lot of reads
• 1:25:38
Speaker 1: that we got to make correctly.
• 1:25:39
Speaker 3: It's not our fault.
• 1:25:40
Speaker 1: It's not our fault. It's not us. The quarterback in there,
• 1:25:43
Speaker 1: he makes the right read. This is a damn good offense.
• 1:25:45
Speaker 3: This kid. This kid.
• 1:25:47
Speaker 1: And, like, legitimately, like, Beck's been good for the last
• 1:25:50
Speaker 1: two years with Devin Dampier.
• 1:25:52
  Speaker 3: Yes, correct.
• 1:25:53
Speaker 1: And that's kind of, that's his track record. I'm not
• 1:25:57
Speaker 1: here to soil my team. All right?
• 1:25:59
  Speaker 5: No.
• 1:25:59
Speaker 1: We don't know if Bryce Underwood's good or not yet.
• 1:26:01
Speaker 3: You don't know if he's good or not yet.
• 1:26:02
Speaker 1: We do not know yet, dude. Just why don't you
• 1:26:05
Speaker 1: go unit on the money line? No, I have a
• 1:26:09
Speaker 1: parlay that's coming up and you'll see a unit on
• 1:26:10
Speaker 1: the money line. Okay, all right. But there's a world
• 1:26:13
Speaker 1: you're saying you're going to win the game. Buddy, we
• 1:26:15
Speaker 1: lost to Minnesota for the first time since the 70s
• 1:26:19
  Speaker 1: at Minnesota.
• 1:26:23
  Speaker 3: I mean, that wasn't good.
• 1:26:23
Speaker 1: Dude, when I was at Michigan, the dark years, where
• 1:26:26
Speaker 1: Michigan fans don't even want to acknowledge the fact from
• 1:26:29
Speaker 1: 09 to 13. They don't want to. Anytime you say
• 1:26:32
Speaker 1: Rich Rodriguez's name, people hiss and run in the corner
• 1:26:35
Speaker 1: and get in the shadows. We beat Minnesota. And there
• 1:26:39
Speaker 1: was never a roster this good on my team. It
• 1:26:41
Speaker 1: was just, hey, hopefully Denard does well today. So anyway,
• 1:26:46
Speaker 1: didn't want to bring it down.
• 1:26:49
Speaker 3: I think Arizona State's going to push Texas Tech.
• 1:26:53
  Speaker 2: Wow.
• 1:26:53
Speaker 3: Yeah, they're getting too many points. 14 and a half.
• 1:26:56
Speaker 3: Arizona State, that's too many points. You know Jennifer Weyer
• 1:26:59
Speaker 3: watches the show. I know. I'm doing it for him. So,
• 1:27:01
Speaker 3: hold on a second. You're kind of anti-Texas Tech. Three, two, one,
• 1:27:05
Speaker 3: so we can get a clean cut. No way Texas
• 1:27:08
Speaker 3: Tech deserves to be laying this many points against the team.
• 1:27:11
Speaker 3: All right, send it off to him. Okay, yeah, I
• 1:27:14
Speaker 3: just think Arizona State could be a little sneaky here.
• 1:27:17
Speaker 1: Yeah, can't even tell you, man. You said it. You
• 1:27:19
Speaker 1: think Arizona State's going to push Texas Tech.
• 1:27:22
Speaker 3: Push them and make this a game in the fourth quarter.
• 1:27:26
Speaker 1: But Texas Tech wins?
• 1:27:27
Speaker 3: Yeah, I'd lean Texas Tech to win. It is two touchdowns.
• 1:27:31
Speaker 1: Lean is crazy. Lean.
• 1:27:33
  Speaker 3: Lean.
• 1:27:34
  Speaker 1: All right.
• 1:27:35
Speaker 3: Are you telling me you'd be surprised if Arizona State
• 1:27:38
Speaker 3: was hanging with them? Lesser teams have hung with them
• 1:27:41
  Speaker 3: this year.
• 1:27:43
Speaker 1: I love Joey McGuire, but I also love Kenny Dillingham.
• 1:27:46
Speaker 1: I'm excited for a really good game. This is where
• 1:27:48
Speaker 1: the tailgate tour will be this weekend.
• 1:27:49
  Speaker 3: Friendship Bowl.
• 1:27:49
Speaker 1: We'll be out there. Friendship Bowl.
• 1:27:51
  Speaker 3: Friendship Bowl.
• 1:27:51
Speaker 1: This is where I'm essentially the mom with two different jerseys.
• 1:27:55
Speaker 3: Rooting for both of your guys.
• 1:27:56
Speaker 1: I'm rooting for both of my guys. I can sell
• 1:27:58
Speaker 1: the first one and I praise the next one. That
• 1:28:01
Speaker 1: is always the pattern you should go in. Love Kevin Dillian.
• 1:28:05
Speaker 3: I mean, he did get double nickel hung on him
• 1:28:07
Speaker 3: a couple of weekends ago. Who was that that scored
• 1:28:09
Speaker 3: 55 on Arizona State? And it was at home, too.
• 1:28:13
  Speaker 1: Doesn't matter. Kenny Allen's an offensive-minded head coach. He's an
• 1:28:17
Speaker 1: offensive-minded head coach. Dogs of the week. You bought it
• 1:28:20
Speaker 1: from Oklahoma State. I like Oklahoma State plus four and
• 1:28:23
Speaker 1: a half. That's my dog of the week. Drew Mastermaker, dude.
• 1:28:28
Speaker 1: Josh Allen, 2.0. Give me Wisconsin outright. We're a couple
• 1:28:32
  Speaker 1: weeks away.
• 1:28:33
  Speaker 3: No doubt.
• 1:28:34
Speaker 1: We're a couple weeks away from saying Drew Mastermaker is
• 1:28:37
Speaker 1: the next Josh Allen, if you can pull it off.
• 1:28:40
Speaker 3: The difference being when Josh Allen was in college, not
• 1:28:43
Speaker 3: many people even talked about him because no one was
• 1:28:45
Speaker 3: watching Wyoming games. People are watching Oklahoma State. This game
• 1:28:49
Speaker 3: or Ole Miss-Missouri will be a five-chat like classic. Maybe both.
• 1:28:53
Speaker 3: But at least one of those will be.
• 1:28:54
Speaker 1: It has to be.
• 1:28:55
Speaker 2: I'll take Wisconsin Outright against UCLA. UCLA without Nico. You
• 1:29:00
Speaker 2: get seven turnovers against Oregon. You only win by two points.
• 1:29:04
Speaker 2: I think they're a little overrated right now. By the way,
• 1:29:07
Speaker 2: I say that. UCLA is, they put together, I mean,
• 1:29:10
Speaker 2: they're undefeated in the Big Ten. Bob Chesney is that,
• 1:29:13
Speaker 2: he's that dude. They can run the ball well. I just,
• 1:29:15
Speaker 2: I like Wisconsin here. I like Wisconsin to win outright
• 1:29:17
Speaker 2: at UCLA. Did you see his performance.
• 1:29:21
  Speaker 1: Tunnel speech.
• 1:29:22
Speaker 3: Tunnel speech is very underrated.
• 1:29:24
Speaker 1: Underrated. Tunnel speech. Because you can hear the fans. You
• 1:29:27
Speaker 1: can kind of hear the Coliseum.
• 1:29:28
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 1:29:29
Speaker 1: And you can say, let me finish the story. And
• 1:29:30
Speaker 1: you kind of can't hear it all, but it turns
• 1:29:32
Speaker 1: out being the burn the boat story. And then he
• 1:29:34
Speaker 1: turns around and immediately takes his glasses and puts them on.
• 1:29:37
Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, fuck. I wish somebody would have showed
• 1:29:40
Speaker 1: me this before the game started. If I would have
• 1:29:41
Speaker 1: known that, I probably still would have gone to Oregon
• 1:29:44
Speaker 1: and got my ass beat. I would have been like,
• 1:29:46
Speaker 1: holy shit, that's badass, man.
• 1:29:47
Speaker 3: Do you think after he did that, he turned around
• 1:29:49
Speaker 3: to that camera kid and said, Did you get that?
• 1:29:51
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 1:29:51
  Speaker 3: Oh, 100%.
• 1:29:52
  Speaker 1: Okay, let's go.
• 1:29:53
Speaker 3: He was ready to do it again if they didn't
• 1:29:54
  Speaker 3: get it.
• 1:29:54
Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. Hey, everyone, back up real quick. That echo
• 1:29:57
Speaker 1: in the tunnel, too.
• 1:29:58
Speaker 2: Or you got to ask around, did somebody happen to
• 1:30:00
Speaker 2: record that on the side and their finger's a little
• 1:30:02
  Speaker 2: over it?
• 1:30:02
Speaker 3: Like, leak that one. Yeah. Wait, you say that like
• 1:30:05
Speaker 3: some of these locker room leaks aren't authentic leaks?
• 1:30:08
Speaker 1: Leak that one. Dude, hey, that Kirby's a smart one.
• 1:30:11
Speaker 1: Holy shit. Pre and post.
• 1:30:13
Speaker 3: Really convenient. Really convenient.
• 1:30:16
Speaker 1: Yeah, we got to make sure we, you know. Yeah.
• 1:30:18
Speaker 1: And I love, we talked about this on Monday, but
• 1:30:20
Speaker 1: I love when something gets leaked like that. And then I,
• 1:30:25
Speaker 1: every time I see like a leaked video like that,
• 1:30:26
Speaker 1: I immediately will go to the post game press conference.
• 1:30:28
Speaker 1: And I want to see just the difference. And it
• 1:30:31
Speaker 1: started off being like, first off, Alabama, great ball club there.
• 1:30:35
Speaker 1: All right, well-coached team. Neeser starts praising Alabama.
• 1:30:38
Speaker 3: I don't even know my record against them.
• 1:30:40
Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't even know. I don't even think about it.
• 1:30:41
Speaker 3: Have I ever played here?
• 1:30:42
Speaker 1: I think about how much I love my family. Yeah,
• 1:30:44
Speaker 1: I don't care at all. And then it's like, oh,
• 1:30:45
Speaker 1: I hate these motherfuckers. It's a him or me game.
• 1:30:48
Speaker 1: No leaks after losses, you notice. Interesting. Only leaks after wins.
• 1:30:52
Speaker 3: Anyway, I don't want to call anything into question. I
• 1:30:54
Speaker 3: don't know why, but the model says Syracuse plus 14.5
• 1:30:58
Speaker 3: is a dog that I need to be on. Again,
• 1:31:00
Speaker 3: I want to emphasize. Cannot emphasize this loudly enough. I
• 1:31:03
Speaker 3: don't know why. And I'm not diving into this game
• 1:31:05
Speaker 3: a whole lot, but I'm taking Syracuse. Your pick, by
• 1:31:07
Speaker 3: the way, was the first one I bet this week. Wisconsin, outright.
• 1:31:13
Speaker 1: I bumped that because let's get to parlays. I got
• 1:31:17
Speaker 1: a spicy one. We hit the parlays last week, Josh Bates.
• 1:31:20
Speaker 3: Sure did. Join the party.
• 1:31:23
  Speaker 2: Buddy.
• 1:31:23
  Speaker 3: It's fun.
• 1:31:25
Speaker 1: I'd love to. San Jose State, like, that's crazy. Yeah.
• 1:31:31
Speaker 1: I was swinging, swinging clean. And all of a sudden,
• 1:31:34
Speaker 1: San Jose State decided to ruin that for me. We'll
• 1:31:36
Speaker 1: accomplish checking this phone, that means I'll go right now.
• 1:31:38
Speaker 1: All right, LSU all spread, minus nine and a half. ASU,
• 1:31:42
Speaker 1: Texas Tech, all over, 48.
• 1:31:44
  Speaker 2: And a half.
• 1:31:46
Speaker 1: Michigan Moneyline, okay. Oregon State, Washington State, all over, 48
• 1:31:51
Speaker 1: and a half. And finally, Wisconsin Moneyline, plus 13.49. Josh,
• 1:32:00
Speaker 1: go again. There might be a subtle change I want
• 1:32:02
  Speaker 1: to make here.
• 1:32:04
Speaker 3: I'm going to go Kentucky Moneyline. Wisconsin Moneyline. I mean,
• 1:32:12
Speaker 3: I want to say it, but I want it to
• 1:32:13
Speaker 3: be heard. Start your parlay over. Kentucky Moneyline. Wisconsin Moneyline.
• 1:32:22
Speaker 3: Nebraska Cornhuskers Moneyline. End of parlay.
• 1:32:30
Speaker 1: You guys are anti-day landing, guys. No. I took Pate's
• 1:32:34
Speaker 1: bet the minute I saw it. Dillon Rill is the
• 1:32:38
Speaker 1: quarterback this weekend. If he is, I have no clue.
• 1:32:40
Speaker 1: This one is going to be personal for them boys
• 1:32:43
Speaker 1: in white and red. It's going to be personal for
• 1:32:45
Speaker 1: the quarterback of Oregon, too.
• 1:32:46
Speaker 2: Guys, just a quick reminder, the college football, the FanDuel's
• 1:32:50
Speaker 2: college football pick-em where you can pick 10 games against
• 1:32:53
Speaker 2: the spread for free.
• 1:32:55
Speaker 1: And all you have to do is clip one of us, myself,
• 1:32:57
Speaker 1: Josh Pate, or Taylor LeJuan. You do that.
• 1:32:59
Speaker 2: Say we go five for 10, you go six for 10.
• 1:33:01
Speaker 2: You're gonna earn yourself a profit boost token. If you
• 1:33:03
  Speaker 2: go 10 for 10, you're going to share in a
• 1:33:06
Speaker 2: half a million dollar jackpot, $ 500, 000 split amongst you and
• 1:33:10
Speaker 2: whoever else goes 10 for 10 against the spread.
• 1:33:12
Speaker 1: That is free, zero wager.
• 1:33:15
Speaker 2: Last week, 181 winners, 181 jackpot winners took home about
• 1:33:17
Speaker 2: 2,700 in FanDuel bonus bets. visit fando.com slash Bussin. Again,
• 1:33:24
Speaker 2: it is for free. It is for you.
• 1:33:26
Speaker 1: Just wanted to remind you guys. We're going to wrap
• 1:33:28
Speaker 1: this episode real quick. See that one right there? That's
• 1:33:30
Speaker 1: Lucy espresso. That's my favorite. They got that bite and burst,
• 1:33:33
Speaker 1: that hit of flavor right away. I use it for
• 1:33:36
Speaker 1: a little energy boost when I need it most. Pre-workout, post-workout,
• 1:33:39
Speaker 1: doesn't matter. When Lucy's on my mind, I put it
• 1:33:41
Speaker 1: in my lip and it's absolutely delicious. Here's the thing
• 1:33:43
Speaker 1: I love about Lucy. American made, family owned. They're not
• 1:33:47
Speaker 1: such a big tobacco company just playing dress up. And
• 1:33:49
Speaker 1: that's what really matters to me. Now, let's get some
• 1:33:52
Speaker 1: fine print right here. Lucy.co, code locker room for 20%
• 1:33:57
Speaker 1: off your first order. Lucy products are for adults of
• 1:34:00
Speaker 1: legal age. Every customer's age verified. Warning, this product contains nicotine.
• 1:34:03
Speaker 1: Nicotine is an addictive chemical. Let's get back to the episode. Hey,
• 1:34:07
Speaker 1: we're back. Technical difficulties. Willing to figure out his parlay.
• 1:34:10
Speaker 1: He has a parlay right here. All right, I made
• 1:34:13
Speaker 1: a change. All right. Wisconsin Moneyline? Yep.
• 1:34:21
Speaker 2: Oklahoma money line, Michigan money line, North Carolina money line,
• 1:34:28
Speaker 2: Notre Dame old spread minus six and a half, Nebraska
• 1:34:32
Speaker 2: plus seven and a half, plus 2596.
• 1:34:35
Speaker 1: The only reason Yeah, what was it? You know how
• 1:34:44
Speaker 1: it gets. Like last week, your boy, you know the
• 1:34:47
Speaker 1: spot you're in. You got to go Moneyline.
• 1:34:49
  Speaker 3: Have to.
• 1:34:50
Speaker 1: The more responsible one is taking the points.
• 1:34:53
Speaker 2: To me, if I take Nebraska Moneyline, which I'll have
• 1:34:55
Speaker 2: that just individually, but if I add that to the parlay,
• 1:34:59
  Speaker 2: there's just a, I don't know, there's a mechanism in
• 1:35:01
Speaker 2: my head that's like, well, I just killed this. I
• 1:35:03
Speaker 2: just killed this guy doing the Moneyline.
• 1:35:06
Speaker 1: That's called main character syndrome. Yeah, I got it.
• 1:35:09
  Speaker 3: I got it.
• 1:35:10
Speaker 1: I mean, claims are pointed at me. Hey, was that
• 1:35:12
Speaker 1: not the coolest? Was that not the coolest? Yeah, yeah,
• 1:35:18
Speaker 1: it was awesome. Were you still there for that?
• 1:35:22
Speaker 3: That was when I had exited. After that? No, as
• 1:35:26
  Speaker 3: that was happening.
• 1:35:27
Speaker 1: Josh did say at halftime, he said, at some point
• 1:35:28
Speaker 1: I'm going to leave. And I told him, like, do
• 1:35:30
Speaker 1: not tell us you're leaving. Don't even, don't say goodbye.
• 1:35:32
  Speaker 1: Just go.
• 1:35:32
Speaker 3: I want to know, when we were walking out, Prez said,
• 1:35:36
Speaker 3: one of the saddest things ever just happened. We were
• 1:35:38
Speaker 3: like getting in the car. We could still hear the crowd.
• 1:35:40
Speaker 3: I said, what happened? So we were all walking out
• 1:35:43
Speaker 3: of a tunnel together and I let him know, hey,
• 1:35:46
Speaker 3: we're about to go our separate ways. Don't let him know,
• 1:35:48
Speaker 3: he's too in the zone. But apparently you saw us
• 1:35:50
Speaker 3: go down a separate walkway and Prez said, you were saying, no.
• 1:35:54
Speaker 1: Josh, Josh, this way. No, Josh, come back in here,
• 1:35:56
Speaker 1: come back in here.
• 1:35:57
Speaker 3: And then he said, you realized that that was us
• 1:36:00
Speaker 3: leaving and you just like put your head down.
• 1:36:05
  Speaker 2: Oh, no.
• 1:36:05
Speaker 1: What's crazy is this is the first time we're hearing
• 1:36:06
Speaker 1: that story. I felt so bad. Will got hurt so bad,
• 1:36:09
Speaker 1: he's like, I'm going to keep this to myself.
• 1:36:11
Speaker 2: Because we were obviously getting some food at halftime and
• 1:36:15
Speaker 2: watching the game for most of the third quarter.
• 1:36:18
Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, no, no, no. We have
• 1:36:20
Speaker 1: to be out there for the fourth quarter.
• 1:36:23
Speaker 2: And we're going out there, and I see Josh going,
• 1:36:24
Speaker 2: and you're like, you think we can get in the
• 1:36:25
  Speaker 2: gates here?
• 1:36:26
Speaker 1: And the guy's like, oh, you just got to go around.
• 1:36:28
Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, yeah, right here, right behind it. And
• 1:36:30
Speaker 2: as we're walking, Josh is sitting there. Josh has already
• 1:36:32
Speaker 2: got the wall going down. I'm like, oh, I think
• 1:36:34
Speaker 2: he just missed that we can get back in right here.
• 1:36:36
Speaker 1: And I was like, Josh, we can get in right here.
• 1:36:39
Speaker 2: And he's like, oh, no, we're going down this way.
• 1:36:42
Speaker 2: And then either Klump or somebody came up to me
• 1:36:44
Speaker 2: and goes, oh, Josh is leaving.
• 1:36:45
Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, damn. Fourth quarter, like.
• 1:36:49
  Speaker 3: Third quarter.
• 1:36:50
Speaker 1: Yeah, it was that toward the end of the third quarter. Yeah,
• 1:36:51
Speaker 1: it was right before.
• 1:36:52
Speaker 3: It was like right at the end of the third.
• 1:36:53
Speaker 3: Here's what was funny. When we were in that room
• 1:36:56
Speaker 3: for like part of the third quarter, at one point,
• 1:37:00
Speaker 3: the cable feed goes out.
• 1:37:01
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 1:37:02
Speaker 3: And we all look at each other like, how are
• 1:37:04
Speaker 3: we going to know how the game ends? Not even
• 1:37:06
Speaker 3: realizing we could just walk right back out on the
• 1:37:08
Speaker 3: field right now and.
• 1:37:09
Speaker 1: Watch the game. We're literally a hundred steps away from
• 1:37:11
Speaker 1: being live in the game.
• 1:37:12
  Speaker 3: The interesting thing.
• 1:37:13
Speaker 2: Was they were on like their own one yard line.
• 1:37:15
Speaker 2: They just overthrew Marsh, I believe. And then it was like,
• 1:37:18
Speaker 2: I'm thinking, I mean, could we get a safety? And
• 1:37:20
Speaker 2: we couldn't. We had, we had him. We had our
• 1:37:23
Speaker 2: buddy down there in the end zone.
• 1:37:24
Speaker 1: Just missed the tackle. I kind of want to this week,
• 1:37:27
Speaker 1: this will be in my community, but I'm going to
• 1:37:29
Speaker 1: take all of our parlays and put them in together
• 1:37:31
  Speaker 1: into one.
• 1:37:31
Speaker 2: Oh, wow. Oh, wow.
• 1:37:33
  Speaker 1: I think it'd be a fun little- Maybe the magic's
• 1:37:35
Speaker 1: in the air. Maybe the magic's in the air.
• 1:37:37
Speaker 2: But which one are you going to go? Because Peyton
• 1:37:40
Speaker 2: has money line and I have the plus seven and
• 1:37:42
  Speaker 2: a half.
• 1:37:42
Speaker 1: I would lean the money lines over the spreads. Just
• 1:37:44
Speaker 1: make it as juicy as possible. So I will be
• 1:37:47
Speaker 1: taking Nebraska money line. The financial freedom parlay. Yeah. And
• 1:37:54
Speaker 1: there it is. I'll be in the group chat with that.
• 1:38:00
Speaker 1: I'll be in the group chat with that. All right.
• 1:38:02
Speaker 1: Great show. We appreciate you guys. Big hugs. Tiny kisses.
• 1:38:05
Speaker 1: We will see you Friday. Busting the paint on campus.
• 1:38:08
