- 0:00Speaker 1: Now the Mark Simone show on seven ten wor filling
- 0:05Speaker 1: in for Mark, here's Ken Rosatto.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Yeah, is it Friday already? It was like, oh, in fact,
- 0:12Speaker 2: it's Friday towards the end of August. It's insanity to
- 0:15Speaker 2: think that the summer has just flown by, but it has.
- 0:19Speaker 2: But nonetheless we will have a good time in the
- 0:23Speaker 2: ensuing weeks here or week and a half or so
- 0:26Speaker 2: before the end of the month. This is Canrozotto. It's
- 0:29Speaker 2: good to be with you for Mark. Mark enjoying a
- 0:32Speaker 2: nice long weekend, and it's nice to be in the seat.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Of course I'm keeping I'm keeping a good Mark. I
- 0:37Speaker 2: put down some blankets on the seat so I don't
- 0:41Speaker 2: infect it, and not that I'm sick or anything, but
- 0:44Speaker 2: just it's the Mark Simone throne. You don't want to Yeah,
- 0:47Speaker 2: you're not worthy of sitting in the seat anyway. It
- 0:49Speaker 2: is a Friday morning. We will take calls here at
- 0:51Speaker 2: seven ten WR the numbers eight hundred three to two
- 0:55Speaker 2: one zero seven ten, eight hundred three two one zero
- 0:59Speaker 2: seven ten. How'd y'all fare with the weather? Yesterday? Ray
- 1:02Speaker 2: Stagic talking about it. It was a big water spout
- 1:06Speaker 2: that moved on to land. You know, when it's in
- 1:08Speaker 2: the water, it's kind of weak. They call it a
- 1:10Speaker 2: water spout, but as the funnel hits land, it becomes
- 1:14Speaker 2: a tornado, and apparently one hit Atlantic Beach on Long
- 1:19Speaker 2: Island yesterday late afternoon. Now I follow this guy on YouTube.
- 1:23Speaker 2: I'm not going to mention his name because I don't
- 1:26Speaker 2: want to take away from our race stagic. But this
- 1:29Speaker 2: guy is in the South and he let's just say
- 1:32Speaker 2: that the word yawl is part of his name. If
- 1:35Speaker 2: you're a weather geek like me, you probably know I'm
- 1:37Speaker 2: who I'm talking about. But this guy was live doing
- 1:41Speaker 2: this coverage, and he has this network of fellow he
- 1:45Speaker 2: calls him like weather geeks, people who are self proclaimed
- 1:48Speaker 2: meteorologists all over the country. And they were bringing up
- 1:51Speaker 2: video from anywhere that there was a tornado warning and
- 1:56Speaker 2: I had it on in the background, being a weather
- 1:57Speaker 2: geek myself. And sure enough, they were showing Atlantic Beach
- 2:02Speaker 2: as this was happening, and they said, I think this
- 2:04Speaker 2: is a water spout just starting to form. They had
- 2:06Speaker 2: it live as it was forming. Thankfully, I guess one
- 2:10Speaker 2: person had a minor injury. I don't know if it
- 2:13Speaker 2: was directly the cause of this. Fortunately minor injury. When
- 2:16Speaker 2: you have something like this is a blessing. But take
- 2:19Speaker 2: a listen to some of the audio that we got
- 2:21Speaker 2: from people who were around the severe weather yesterday.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Holy this is a tornado.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Wow that is and that is kind of amazing. Living
- 2:31Speaker 2: in the Northeast, you don't expect to see something like that,
- 2:34Speaker 2: but sure enough a lot of people did. This was
- 2:36Speaker 2: in Queen's with all the flooding.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Every time with other storms, I run home from work
- 2:40Speaker 4: by wondering, Hey.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Am I going to make it back safe?
- 2:43Speaker 4: Twice this year, once last October during Halloween. Three times
- 2:47Speaker 4: within the span of not even one year.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Yeah, now, you know, a lot of that happens, my
- 2:51Speaker 2: meteorologist friends tell me because in many cases you have
- 2:54Speaker 2: garbage on the streets that gets washed into the sewers,
- 2:58Speaker 2: plugs up the sewers and then they can't take the water.
- 3:02Speaker 2: So it's not necessarily that we're getting more rain or
- 3:05Speaker 2: rain more off. In some cases that is the case,
- 3:08Speaker 2: but it's because the sewers are not cleaned out. They
- 3:11Speaker 2: need to be cleaned out on a regular basis, and
- 3:14Speaker 2: that's something that sometimes the municipalities say, Yeah, we could
- 3:17Speaker 2: save money. We don't need to do that, but that's
- 3:20Speaker 2: part of the problem. You need to keep those sewers
- 3:22Speaker 2: clear at all times. Jersey City also had a lot
- 3:24Speaker 2: of rain, and.
- 3:25Speaker 5: I saw like almost six or seven cars who are like,
- 3:28Speaker 5: you know, installed there around me.
- 3:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:31Speaker 5: I was just driving under the bridge and I think
- 3:35Speaker 5: was like worder level was very high.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Yeah, and just about ten miles away from there in Passaic.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Came down really heavy.
- 3:41Speaker 4: There was a flood everywhere.
- 3:42Speaker 6: I came down from Passaic or Route twenty one.
- 3:45Speaker 4: Flood everywhere, Belleville everywhere, flood everywhere as well, coming down
- 3:50Speaker 4: on By one and nine by Jerseys City as well.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Yeah, if you looked at any of the radars, it
- 3:55Speaker 2: was just purples and reds throughout the whole tri state.
- 3:58Speaker 2: So it was serious weather. And in times like that,
- 4:01Speaker 2: you know, flash flooding happens. And most of the area
- 4:05Speaker 2: got like four inches of rain in just a short
- 4:07Speaker 2: amount of time. So that was an absolute mess. Fortunately
- 4:11Speaker 2: everybody seemed to fare well. Some areas still have a
- 4:15Speaker 2: little floodwater receding right now. I know Secaucus or secaucas
- 4:20Speaker 2: how do you pronounce it, Seacaucus or Sicaucas both are
- 4:22Speaker 2: apparently correct. They had some flooding, I know on the
- 4:27Speaker 2: service roads near Route three apparently still flooded this morning.
- 4:31Speaker 2: But that'll all try out today, Ray Stagic saying that
- 4:34Speaker 2: throughout the day today, you're only going to have partly
- 4:36Speaker 2: cloudy skies, but chance of some more storms over the weekend.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Not as bad as we just had, but nonetheless more
- 4:42Speaker 2: stormy weather. Seven to ten WO are the Voice of
- 4:46Speaker 2: New York. It's Ken Rosotto, former TV news guy, in
- 4:49Speaker 2: for the great Mark Simone on this Friday. If you're
- 4:52Speaker 2: wondering where has Ken beIN? He used to work at
- 4:54Speaker 2: Channel seven for twenty years. Where's he been? I was
- 4:57Speaker 2: a Channel five before that. These days, I'm on on
- 5:00Speaker 2: New Jersey, which is a New Jersey TV news, talk, opinion, weather,
- 5:05Speaker 2: it's traffic channel. It's twenty four hours a DAYNENJ dot com.
- 5:10Speaker 2: You could stream it anywhere ONENJ dot com on New Jersey.
- 5:14Speaker 2: We hope you check us out sometimes too. But I
- 5:17Speaker 2: also work here, obviously at iHeart and love my time
- 5:20Speaker 2: filling in here at iHeartRadio, one of America's great radio corporations,
- 5:26Speaker 2: the largest. And if you heard Curtis this morning on
- 5:30Speaker 2: earlier talking about Yesterday was National Radio Day, and not
- 5:36Speaker 2: a lot of companies are true diehard radio fans. A
- 5:41Speaker 2: lot of the corporations that own broadcast media today just
- 5:45Speaker 2: own them as entities. And you could just tell when
- 5:48Speaker 2: they don't love what they do and what they own.
- 5:51Speaker 2: iHeart is different. iHeart loves broadcasting. They love radio, and
- 5:58Speaker 2: that's why they have between somewhere between eight and nine
- 6:01Speaker 2: hundred stations. I've lost count. But they love what they
- 6:04Speaker 2: do and they love their radio stations, and they own
- 6:08Speaker 2: literally some of the most historic radio broadcast entities in America,
- 6:13Speaker 2: like this one, fifty thousand watt clear channels seven to
- 6:17Speaker 2: ten wor. This is just a monster signal that covers
- 6:21Speaker 2: the whole region of the country, not just the New
- 6:23Speaker 2: York area. You could hear this huge signal up and
- 6:26Speaker 2: down the mid Atlantic with its massive footprint, and at
- 6:32Speaker 2: night you could hear it even farther. It goes about
- 6:34Speaker 2: five six hundred miles clear as a bell at night.
- 6:38Speaker 2: But yesterday they took National Radio Day seriously as they should,
- 6:43Speaker 2: and a lot of the broadcasters from this station were
- 6:46Speaker 2: honored and talked to, and they got to speak to everybody,
- 6:50Speaker 2: and it was just wonderful and we just have a good,
- 6:52Speaker 2: nice group of people when I walk on the door
- 6:54Speaker 2: here and see some of the folks who work in
- 6:57Speaker 2: this building. Of course, Curtis, you know, is just an
- 7:01Speaker 2: amazing man now that he's on at the morning show
- 7:03Speaker 2: as well. It's just, you know, Larry is just a sweetheart.
- 7:08Speaker 2: He and I He worked at Channel seven before me,
- 7:11Speaker 2: but he is historic as a broadcaster between New York
- 7:14Speaker 2: and Philadelphia. And just to get to know Larry now
- 7:17Speaker 2: personally is an amazing thing. And of course Mark Simone.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Mark Simone is not it's not an opinion, it's by ratings,
- 7:25Speaker 2: by fact, the most listened to talk radio host in America.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Certainly in New York he's number one. It's between him
- 7:33Speaker 2: and Sean Hannity. Of course nationwide also here on seven
- 7:37Speaker 2: ten wor These are great broadcast entities and it's all
- 7:41Speaker 2: part of the iHeart family. So I'm just honored to
- 7:43Speaker 2: be here and filling in. But we want to hear
- 7:45Speaker 2: what you have to say. Eight hundred three to two
- 7:47Speaker 2: one zero seven ten. Eight hundred three to two one
- 7:50Speaker 2: zero seven ten. You know, for months, President Trump's been
- 7:54Speaker 2: pushing to have the Save America Act past and he's
- 7:58Speaker 2: saying it would pose an egg essential threat to our country,
- 8:02Speaker 2: to our democratic republic if it doesn't pass. And if
- 8:06Speaker 2: you think about it, that's not hyperbole because if you
- 8:09Speaker 2: have potentially tens of millions of illegal migrants who've come in,
- 8:14Speaker 2: now you're talking about this country just being rife with
- 8:17Speaker 2: potential fraud, voter fraud. We already know in New Jersey. Remember,
- 8:22Speaker 2: we were told, first absolutely nobody who is in pardon
- 8:26Speaker 2: me here illegally me just hit the cough button. Pardon me,
- 8:30Speaker 2: Thank goodness for the cough button. You didn't have to
- 8:32Speaker 2: hear that. We were told that nobody who's here illegally
- 8:37Speaker 2: is registered to vote. Then we were told some people
- 8:39Speaker 2: may have registered to vote, but they didn't actually vote.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Then we're told, oh, some people voted, but it doesn't
- 8:45Speaker 2: really count, it's too tiny. Then it was oh, well,
- 8:47Speaker 2: thousands registered to vote who shouldn't have, but only a
- 8:50Speaker 2: couple of hundred actually voted. Now it could be a
- 8:53Speaker 2: lot of people who voted. Where do we get that number? Well,
- 8:57Speaker 2: we get that number of a lot. Where am I
- 8:59Speaker 2: getting that? We now know that the federal government has
- 9:03Speaker 2: taken a look at the New Jersey voter roles. So
- 9:05Speaker 2: we're going to talk more later in the show about this.
- 9:08Speaker 2: And they have found as many as thirty five to
- 9:10Speaker 2: forty thousand people who they've crossed referenced see New Jersey's
- 9:15Speaker 2: not cooperating with the FEDS, But the FEDS did some
- 9:17Speaker 2: work on their own, thirty five to forty thousand people
- 9:20Speaker 2: apparently here illegally who may have registered to vote in
- 9:25Speaker 2: the state of New Jersey. New Jersey saying they only
- 9:27Speaker 2: have a few thousand, Well, there's quite a disparaty between
- 9:30Speaker 2: a few thousand and thirty five to forty thousand. Go
- 9:33Speaker 2: to the New Jersey State Republicans, they say there are as
- 9:37Speaker 2: many as seventy nine thousand. Where do they get their
- 9:41Speaker 2: numbers from? They say that people who are selected to
- 9:46Speaker 2: be on juries in New Jersey are selected based on
- 9:50Speaker 2: people who have driver's licenses with the New Jersey MVC,
- 9:54Speaker 2: the Motor Vehicle Commission, which is their answer to the
- 9:57Speaker 2: DMV in New York. And people who are selected for
- 10:02Speaker 2: juries have responded, I can't serve on the jury because
- 10:07Speaker 2: I am not a legal alien in the United States.
- 10:10Speaker 2: I'm not a citizen. But in order to have been selected,
- 10:15Speaker 2: they had to be, they had to have drivers' licenses
- 10:18Speaker 2: and be registered to vote.
- 10:19Speaker 3: So.
- 10:21Speaker 2: That either they lied about not being citizens, but yet
- 10:25Speaker 2: they're still registered to vote, which could be the case,
- 10:29Speaker 2: but yet it's something that has to be investigated. Right,
- 10:32Speaker 2: So the state Republicans in New Jersey say as many
- 10:34Speaker 2: as seventy nine thousand people that they know of are
- 10:38Speaker 2: illegals who are registered to vote. So the number we
- 10:41Speaker 2: know is on the low end, what sixty six hundred
- 10:44Speaker 2: and on the high end, seventy nine thousand. That's a
- 10:47Speaker 2: lot of people. It shouldn't be one. We should not
- 10:51Speaker 2: have one illegal migrant, anyone who's not a citizen, even
- 10:55Speaker 2: a legal resident, you should not be registered to vote.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Supposed to be only citizens are supposed to vote. But
- 11:03Speaker 2: the Democrats intentionally set this up to have confusion. What
- 11:08Speaker 2: am I talking about? I mean having driver's licenses for
- 11:12Speaker 2: people who are not here legally. Well, if you're not
- 11:14Speaker 2: here legally, why do anything to invite people to stay
- 11:17Speaker 2: longer when they're already not here legally. You shouldn't do
- 11:20Speaker 2: things to make it more comfortable. You should say I'm sorry,
- 11:23Speaker 2: but all right. You could be here until you're not
- 11:26Speaker 2: find a way home. And then apply to be a
- 11:28Speaker 2: citizen and come back. But until then you shouldn't be
- 11:31Speaker 2: here all I'm sorry, it's not allowed. That's like you
- 11:34Speaker 2: find somebody living in your attic. You hear noise, you
- 11:37Speaker 2: think it's squirrels. For months and months, some i'ms saying,
- 11:40Speaker 2: now there's noise up there, squirrels, And you go up
- 11:42Speaker 2: there and you find people living in your attic. You
- 11:44Speaker 2: don't then start bringing them food and water and clothing.
- 11:49Speaker 2: You say, all right, here, I'll give you a snack,
- 11:52Speaker 2: but you gotta leave. You gotta go. You can't stay
- 11:55Speaker 2: in my attic. And it's the same thing, Ken, that's
- 11:57Speaker 2: a rude way to talk about human beings. Those human
- 12:00Speaker 2: beings broke into our home. Sorry, let's just say what
- 12:03Speaker 2: it is. They're burglars. You didn't break into their home.
- 12:07Speaker 2: We didn't go into their country. You try going into
- 12:10Speaker 2: Mexico illegally, You try going into El Salvador illegally, you'll
- 12:14Speaker 2: be arrested, You will be tossed in jail, and it
- 12:18Speaker 2: might be years before you can get out. But yet
- 12:20Speaker 2: we have no problem keeping our borders open and letting
- 12:23Speaker 2: people in here. Even liberal Canada, Liberal Canada change the rules.
- 12:28Speaker 2: They used to have birthright citizenship, they used to let
- 12:30Speaker 2: people off. They're here illegally. Whatever, they're changing their tune
- 12:33Speaker 2: now in Canada as well. Europe has had it with illegals.
- 12:37Speaker 2: They've had it. They have the migrants who are there
- 12:39Speaker 2: right now have overtaken lands. They've actually set up parts
- 12:42Speaker 2: of Paris. You can't even recognize parts of Paris. They
- 12:45Speaker 2: are no go zones with the Islamic sectors of Paris,
- 12:50Speaker 2: where the police don't go in because they're not wanted
- 12:53Speaker 2: and it can cause a riot. So rather than doing
- 12:55Speaker 2: something about it, the liberal Parisians said, well, let's just
- 12:57Speaker 2: not go in that area. Really, you're just going to
- 12:59Speaker 2: surrender head of the land of the city to a
- 13:01Speaker 2: group because they don't want you there. It's just ridiculous
- 13:04Speaker 2: and this is what liberalism and socialism has gotten us.
- 13:08Speaker 7: Well.
- 13:08Speaker 2: To get back to this story, here at seventh ten
- 13:10Speaker 2: wor the Voice of New York, hen Risotto in from
- 13:13Speaker 2: Mark in Alaska, there is a senator who has been
- 13:17Speaker 2: senator for almost three decades, Lisa Murkowski. Lisa is a Rhino.
- 13:22Speaker 2: She is a Republican in name only. She never votes
- 13:26Speaker 2: less than fifty percent of the time does she vote
- 13:27Speaker 2: with Republicans. The only reason why she still serves a
- 13:30Speaker 2: purpose is she keeps the Republican Party in the majority
- 13:34Speaker 2: in the Senate, because if she were a registered Democrat,
- 13:37Speaker 2: you could lose committee heads and things like that. So
- 13:40Speaker 2: you want to have a majority Republican in the number
- 13:44Speaker 2: of Republicans in the Senate and in the House, ostensibly
- 13:47Speaker 2: to be in charge and run the agenda in the
- 13:50Speaker 2: respective house. So she Lisa Murkowski is against the Save Act,
- 13:56Speaker 2: the Save America Act. She is one of the Senators
- 14:00Speaker 2: who was preventing it from coming up for a vote
- 14:02Speaker 2: in the Senate. So in the House this has passed
- 14:05Speaker 2: four times. It has passed in different iterations. It is passed,
- 14:10Speaker 2: and all four of the bills have made their way
- 14:13Speaker 2: to the Senate only to sit there on John Thune's
- 14:15Speaker 2: desk and do nothing. They just sit there collecting dust.
- 14:19Speaker 2: And of course, the President said, before the Senators take
- 14:23Speaker 2: their needless vacations of weeks and weeks, please pass the
- 14:27Speaker 2: Save America Act. They pass all this other nonsense that
- 14:30Speaker 2: ends up putting money in their pockets, but they didn't
- 14:32Speaker 2: want to pass the Save America Act. So Lisa Murkowski
- 14:36Speaker 2: would not support the Save America Act. She says it's
- 14:39Speaker 2: overly burdensome. Really really, well, think about this. James O'Keeffe
- 14:46Speaker 2: of O'Keeffe media group, he used to be with Project Veritas.
- 14:49Speaker 2: He's the guy you see online who goes up to
- 14:52Speaker 2: people with secret, hidden cameras and gets them, usually people
- 14:56Speaker 2: on the left, to admit things that we know are happening.
- 15:00Speaker 2: The left denies it in public, but we get them
- 15:02Speaker 2: on video acknowledging, like he was the one who exposed
- 15:06Speaker 2: an abortionist from one of the big abortion groups. I'll
- 15:10Speaker 2: let you figure out which, talking about harvesting organs from
- 15:14Speaker 2: babies and selling them. And later they denied it. Well,
- 15:18Speaker 2: why did you say it on You know, you said
- 15:20Speaker 2: it what you thought was privately. You admitted it to
- 15:22Speaker 2: a person, but it was not true. So anyway, he is.
- 15:26Speaker 2: James O'Keefe is notorious for doing this. He walked up
- 15:30Speaker 2: to a polling place on Wednesday when Alaska had its
- 15:33Speaker 2: primaries and he said he was Lisa Murkowski's brother, Brian Murkowski. Now,
- 15:39Speaker 2: Alaska is a small place. Alaska only has seven hundred
- 15:42Speaker 2: and fifty thousand people in the entire state, and their
- 15:45Speaker 2: land mass is fourteen thousand times the land mass of
- 15:49Speaker 2: the Bronx. That's a real statistic, fourteen thousand times the
- 15:53Speaker 2: land mass, which means like there's one person for every
- 15:56Speaker 2: twelve miles of land or some silliness like that. So
- 15:59Speaker 2: people know each other in Alaska. Even in cities, you
- 16:02Speaker 2: know everybody. I think Anchorage is their biggest city with
- 16:05Speaker 2: like seventy nine thousand people. So people do know each
- 16:08Speaker 2: other in all the cities in Alaska. For the most part,
- 16:11Speaker 2: people have lived there most of their lives. James O'Keefe
- 16:15Speaker 2: walked up to the pollsters or the polling place I
- 16:17Speaker 2: should say the people were running the polling place, and
- 16:19Speaker 2: said he was Brian Murkowski, Lisa Murkowski's brother. Nobody questioned him.
- 16:25Speaker 2: They all knew. Most of the people knew. But under
- 16:27Speaker 2: Alaska law, you're not allowed to demand id. If somebody
- 16:31Speaker 2: asks for a ballot, you have to give him the ballot.
- 16:34Speaker 2: So guess what. They handed him a ballot, and fortunately
- 16:38Speaker 2: he had it on video to prove it, but he
- 16:40Speaker 2: didn't do the illegal act of voting. He did. That's
- 16:43Speaker 2: when he could get arrested. He handed the ballot back,
- 16:46Speaker 2: but it's on video of him accepting the ballot of
- 16:49Speaker 2: somebody else, the brother of the most powerful senator in
- 16:53Speaker 2: Alaskan history. That's who he claimed to be, and he
- 16:57Speaker 2: was given the person's ballot. This is a perfect example
- 17:01Speaker 2: of why voter idea at the polls isn't just a
- 17:03Speaker 2: good idea, but it's essential if we want to preserve
- 17:06Speaker 2: our republic. Everybody can get identification if you have been
- 17:11Speaker 2: born in the US, you have a birth certificate, you
- 17:14Speaker 2: have a Social Security card. Those things right there will
- 17:17Speaker 2: get you anything else. If you lose either, you can
- 17:20Speaker 2: get a duplicate and don't forget other than if you
- 17:23Speaker 2: have a burner phone. By burner phone, I mean the
- 17:26Speaker 2: phones that you buy that have built in thirty minutes
- 17:29Speaker 2: of time. You get them at Walmart and you throw
- 17:30Speaker 2: them out when you're done. That's what the drug dealers use.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Unless you have a burner phone, you need to have
- 17:36Speaker 2: ID to buy a cell phone because you have to
- 17:40Speaker 2: establish credit to pay for the account. And I'm sorry,
- 17:43Speaker 2: but I don't know a human in poor neighborhoods are
- 17:46Speaker 2: rich who does not have a cell phone. So that
- 17:48Speaker 2: means at some point the individuals had to present ID.
- 17:53Speaker 2: In fact, I defy a liberal. To present me with
- 17:56Speaker 2: a human who is a citizen of the US in
- 17:58Speaker 2: twenty twenty six who does not possess an ID doesn't exist.
- 18:03Speaker 2: And women who marry and change their names usually up
- 18:06Speaker 2: their id's almost immediately. If they decide to change their name,
- 18:09Speaker 2: they go and they have that taking care. If it
- 18:11Speaker 2: could be done in five minutes, you get your ID
- 18:12Speaker 2: change one, two, three, it's done. So spare me the
- 18:16Speaker 2: nonsense that anyone would be kept from voting because of
- 18:19Speaker 2: access to identification. Well, quickly back to James O'Keefe, because
- 18:24Speaker 2: I know we got to go to a break here.
- 18:26Speaker 2: In twenty twelve, he did the same thing. He walked
- 18:28Speaker 2: into a polling place in Washington, d C. Claiming to
- 18:31Speaker 2: be Attorney General Eric Holder, who is African American. James
- 18:34Speaker 2: O'Keeffe is white, and yet he was given a ballot.
- 18:38Speaker 2: And when Eric Holder showed up for real, he was told, Oh,
- 18:42Speaker 2: somebody already got your ballot. Is what do you mean?
- 18:46Speaker 2: But this is the thing, because Washington, d C. Does
- 18:48Speaker 2: not require ID to get the ballot to vote. You
- 18:51Speaker 2: need IDEA to fly in a plane, you need ID
- 18:53Speaker 2: to apply for a credit card to check into a hotel,
- 18:55Speaker 2: to rent a car, to apply for a mortgage, sign
- 18:57Speaker 2: the lease, open a bank account as we mentioned, and
- 19:00Speaker 2: get a cell phone. If you want to buy cigarettes
- 19:02Speaker 2: or lottery tickets and they have to check your age.
- 19:04Speaker 2: You want to get hired at a job, claim unemployment,
- 19:06Speaker 2: get a Social Security card and roll and medicaid, pick
- 19:09Speaker 2: up certain prescriptions, get a marriage license, purchase a firearm,
- 19:12Speaker 2: adopt a pet, at about a thousand other things. You
- 19:15Speaker 2: need to have IDs. So stop with your silliness. It's
- 19:19Speaker 2: it's like you are punking us to tell us that
- 19:21Speaker 2: no everybody has ID. Yes, everybody has ID or can
- 19:25Speaker 2: easily get it, and we need to impose a rule
- 19:28Speaker 2: that you need to have ID to vote. It's the
- 19:30Speaker 2: most sacred of all our abilities, and it's something that
- 19:34Speaker 2: we should require an ID for seven to ten WR
- 19:37Speaker 2: the Voice of New York Ken Rosotto Infro Mark on
- 19:39Speaker 2: a Friday, Partly cloudy today, highs Epra seventies our one

- 19:56Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so nice to be back with you our
- 19:58Speaker 2: one of the three hour all new three hour Mark
- 20:01Speaker 2: Simone show. Ken in on a Friday for the great
- 20:05Speaker 2: great Mark Simone, who is resting up after the big
- 20:08Speaker 2: night or the big yesterday. I guess it was late
- 20:11Speaker 2: late afternoon, early evening that the good folks at iHeart
- 20:14Speaker 2: had to do a meet and greet with folks. Just
- 20:18Speaker 2: I love iHeart for that for a thousand reasons. iHeart
- 20:21Speaker 2: preserving the greatness of radio broadcast like nobody else, nobody
- 20:26Speaker 2: else's business. Just to continue on with the conversation that
- 20:30Speaker 2: we had there a moment ago before we take calls
- 20:32Speaker 2: and we go to news here just talking about what
- 20:36Speaker 2: ID is required for. I forgot one thing. You know,
- 20:39Speaker 2: when you are three years old and you want to
- 20:41Speaker 2: be entered into like pre K and whatnot, you need
- 20:45Speaker 2: the child's birth certific get in social Security number if
- 20:48Speaker 2: you want to get the child into school. So everyone
- 20:51Speaker 2: has ID. I mean, unless you were born on Mars
- 20:56Speaker 2: and teleported to the Earth, you have an ID from.
- 21:00Speaker 2: So don't give me this. It's too much of a
- 21:02Speaker 2: hardship for people to get a gentification. You don't have
- 21:04Speaker 2: to get it, you have it from when you are born,
- 21:07Speaker 2: you have identification if you live in the United States,
- 21:09Speaker 2: and if you lost it, you could even go online
- 21:12Speaker 2: and renew it. So stop the nonsense. It is a
- 21:15Speaker 2: Democrat talking point because they want people to vote illegally, period.
- 21:21Speaker 2: The more illegal votes they get. Listen, let me stop
- 21:25Speaker 2: mid sentence. I've said this before and I'll say it again.
- 21:28Speaker 2: If Democrats were assured that people voting illegally vote strictly
- 21:33Speaker 2: for conservative Republicans, you would have nineteen thousand forms of
- 21:37Speaker 2: ID required at the polling place. The fact that you
- 21:40Speaker 2: don't tells you everything about the fact that they like

- 22:19Speaker 2: Hi Hi, what can I do for you?
- 22:23Speaker 8: El what hosts refer to America as a democracy, it's
- 22:33Speaker 8: really a democratic republic and yet defines their values.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Yes, and I'll I don't mean to step in on you. I'll,
- 22:44Speaker 2: I don't mean to step in on you only because
- 22:46Speaker 2: we're a little tight on time. Not only is a
- 22:48Speaker 2: democratic republic, which you're one hundred percent correct, and you're right,
- 22:53Speaker 2: you can tell right away with somehow politics you Oh,
- 22:56Speaker 2: there you go. You could tell somebody's politics. Why they
- 22:59Speaker 2: call it a democrat se versus a republic? Right?
- 23:03Speaker 8: Yeah, the idea of democracy is everything free, so to speak.
- 23:09Speaker 2: M hm. And everybody else, everybody gets an equals say,
- 23:12Speaker 2: you're absolutely right, my friend. We go to Patent Scarsdale. Hello, Pat,
- 23:17Speaker 2: how are you ken? Good sir?
- 23:20Speaker 9: I had just said two points? One point was? I
- 23:23Speaker 9: know you folks are on top of the news. Remember
- 23:25Speaker 9: that leaker that leaked in the Supreme Court going back.
- 23:30Speaker 10: A year or two.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 23:31Speaker 9: Yes, they leaked the announcement about Roe v. Wade, and
- 23:36Speaker 9: they said we're going to catch catch this person and
- 23:38Speaker 9: we're going to make sure that they've brought the justice.
- 23:40Speaker 9: I never heard another word.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Well, that's because it was a Democrat. I mean, you know,
- 23:45Speaker 2: listen who. It wouldn't have benefited the Republicans, the conservative justices.
- 23:49Speaker 2: It would have only benefited the liberals, right, So you
- 23:51Speaker 2: know that because of that, you'll never hear another word
- 23:55Speaker 2: about it. They know it's a very small little clique
- 23:58Speaker 2: in the Supreme Court, all right. In Scotus, everybody knows everybody,
- 24:02Speaker 2: no matter which side you're on, so they certainly know
- 24:05Speaker 2: who leaked. And Washington is a very close, clicky place.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Everybody knows who leaked, but they keep their mouthshut because
- 24:11Speaker 2: they protect their own. And by the way, I'm sure
- 24:13Speaker 2: even the conservatives there are protecting the liberals because the reverse.
- 24:17Speaker 2: I'm sure someday will be true. Sadly, that's the way
- 24:20Speaker 2: it works.
- 24:20Speaker 9: Indeed, exactly right one to a point, Sure, WO tends
- 24:25Speaker 9: to be leadings of Right of Santa a conservative radio station.
- 24:31Speaker 9: Why did they and I know it's commercial radio, but
- 24:33Speaker 9: why did they have so many ads for people that
- 24:36Speaker 9: can avoid paying taxes? You know, I listened to the
- 24:39Speaker 9: radio religiously three or four hours, and I tell you
- 24:43Speaker 9: the truth, my hair goes on fire when I hear
- 24:45Speaker 9: even Sean Hannity. You know, you miss the right way,
- 24:48Speaker 9: always promoting these ways to avoid paying taxes.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Listen if the law, if that's the way the law
- 24:54Speaker 2: is written, it's not about why would you pay taxes
- 24:57Speaker 2: if the law says you don't have the bay taxes.
- 24:59Speaker 2: If you want to listen and you want to pay
- 25:00Speaker 2: more taxes, you got to pay all the taxes you want.
- 25:03Speaker 2: The law says you don't have to pay taxes. If
- 25:05Speaker 2: you cross the street on the left side and make
- 25:07Speaker 2: a left turn, then you cross the street on the
- 25:09Speaker 2: left side and make a left turn. You're not breaking
- 25:11Speaker 2: the law. You're just watching the law, following the rules. Now,
- 25:14Speaker 2: that's the thing. People covetch, if I could use a
- 25:16Speaker 2: nice good Yiddish term, they covetch when other people are
- 25:19Speaker 2: smart enough to take advantage of a loophole that allows
- 25:22Speaker 2: them to do it. I say, either change the law
- 25:25Speaker 2: or we should all applaud the people who are smart
- 25:28Speaker 2: enough to use it. It's as simple as that, right,
- 25:30Speaker 2: Joe and Elmwood, good morning, Good.
- 25:32Speaker 11: Morning, Ken. We heard four hundred. There was more than
- 25:36Speaker 11: four hundred and at the start.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Yeah, well, Joe, let me back up. It's four hundred
- 25:39Speaker 2: who they say actually voted. But there were tens of
- 25:43Speaker 2: thousands potentially who are registered.
- 25:46Speaker 11: And we heard one story of fraud and then how
- 25:48Speaker 11: it's crickets. There must be thousands of fraud in New Jersey. Okay,
- 25:53Speaker 11: and one more boy, kudos to Ireland because they had enough.
- 25:57Speaker 11: The people are uprising. They had enough with the illegals.
- 26:01Speaker 2: And listen, not only I'll tell you when we know
- 26:04Speaker 2: what's going on over in Europe. Europe is always about
- 26:07Speaker 2: six to nine months ahead of what we're going to
- 26:09Speaker 2: see here. And in Europe they are now fed up.
- 26:11Speaker 2: The European Union has voted to kick out illegal migrants finally,
- 26:16Speaker 2: so now they're just beginning the process. The fact that
- 26:18Speaker 2: they're doing that, they're fed up. That tells me that
- 26:21Speaker 2: America is going to get to a point. If you
- 26:22Speaker 2: think they had enough, and that's why they elected Trump,
- 26:26Speaker 2: you just wait, people, If the Democrats, god forbid, get
- 26:29Speaker 2: into power and they start switching things around and letting
- 26:33Speaker 2: people in illegally again, you're going to see an uprising
- 26:35Speaker 2: like you've never seen before. All right, Joe, thank you
- 26:39Speaker 2: so much. Say hello my buddies in New Jersey, love
- 26:41Speaker 2: it all right. My friend Robert in Westchester, good morning,
- 26:44Speaker 2: you're on the Mark Simone Show.
- 26:47Speaker 7: Good Morning, Ken, How are you.
- 26:49Speaker 2: I'm great. Yeah, that's where I'm born and raised in
- 26:51Speaker 2: you Rochelle.
- 26:53Speaker 7: Ah, See, why'd you move though? I know why you moved.
- 26:56Speaker 2: No, honestly, I'll tell you. I'll tell you why I moved.
- 26:59Speaker 2: I'll tell you right now. When I had moved to
- 27:01Speaker 2: Miami because I was working for a TV station there.
- 27:03Speaker 2: When I came back to the New York area, I
- 27:05Speaker 2: initially went back to Nurschelle, but because I was working
- 27:08Speaker 2: a Channel seven, which is on the West side of Manhattan,
- 27:11Speaker 2: to commute down from Narrochelle and Crosstown took me like
- 27:15Speaker 2: an extra hour, and I said, I'm tired of crossing Manhattan.
- 27:18Speaker 2: And that's why I moved to New Jersey. It's easy
- 27:20Speaker 2: to come into the West Side from New Jersey than
- 27:22Speaker 2: it is from west Chester. That's the honest reason.
- 27:25Speaker 7: I believe you. I believe if. I mean when I
- 27:27Speaker 7: first moved into Westchester, it was a paradise, but rob
- 27:32Speaker 7: Astorno was the executive at the time, and it was
- 27:35Speaker 7: more of our thinking. Now, it's like the Titanic. I'm
- 27:40Speaker 7: scrambling to get to the top of the bow. But
- 27:43Speaker 7: if I get on a lifeboat and get out of here.
- 27:45Speaker 7: Believe me, I would. But I have a question for you.
- 27:48Speaker 7: The first is this guy ass Off I believe is
- 27:51Speaker 7: his name. He's running for senate. I heard he's leading
- 27:55Speaker 7: in the polls. Please tell me that's incorrect.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, don't follow the polls this far. That means nothing.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Remember who was leading in the polls in twenty fourteen
- 28:03Speaker 2: for president? Do you remember?
- 28:06Speaker 12: Oh?
- 28:06Speaker 7: I absolutely do.
- 28:08Speaker 2: I tell everybody, Tell everybody who was leading in the
- 28:10Speaker 2: polls in twenty fourteen.
- 28:12Speaker 7: Twenty fourteen. If it was the Democrat it was Hillary No.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Well yes, But who was the Republican who was way ahead,
- 28:20Speaker 2: like ninety percent?
- 28:21Speaker 7: George Bush Junior? It was Jeb I'm no Jeb Jeb.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Right, Jeb Bush. And you know what Jeb Bush ended
- 28:28Speaker 2: up getting in the primaries three percent. So that just
- 28:31Speaker 2: tells you, I mean, and that was a matter of
- 28:33Speaker 2: like less than a year. He went from ninety percent
- 28:36Speaker 2: to three percent. So don't don't get excited by this.
- 28:40Speaker 2: He is the flavored du jour for the Democrats. There's
- 28:43Speaker 2: a lot of time. There's a lot of time left,
- 28:45Speaker 2: so don't don't be Yeah, this way, I.
- 28:48Speaker 7: Believe you Paisan, I believe you. The only thing is
- 28:50Speaker 7: that George is supposed to be like one of us
- 28:52Speaker 7: is supposed to be a red state. That's the only
- 28:54Speaker 7: thing that makes me. It unnerves me. But my next
- 28:57Speaker 7: thing that I want to say, I had a friend
- 28:58Speaker 7: of mine, he served in Afghanistan. He was a Marine,
- 29:03Speaker 7: and he was a young man. This kid was blown
- 29:06Speaker 7: out of his jeep by one of those improvised exploit iudsed.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Is something entirely different.
- 29:14Speaker 7: Right, I know, I keep on getting those two. I'm
- 29:17Speaker 7: so sorry everyone today, but you know what happened. He
- 29:20Speaker 7: dusted himself off, he got checked out, and he stayed
- 29:23Speaker 7: with his with his troops, with his Marines. I begged
- 29:27Speaker 7: him to call you guys and say he wouldn't even
- 29:30Speaker 7: do that because he says it's not my place to
- 29:33Speaker 7: do that, and I don't need to throw his spersions
- 29:35Speaker 7: or whatever. But it just disheartens me that our navy,
- 29:39Speaker 7: the guys are say, guys, you're on his ship. Nobody's
- 29:42Speaker 7: shooting at you, not being blown out of it. I
- 29:44Speaker 7: don't know what how the saint, Oh, the toilets smell
- 29:47Speaker 7: like mold, and a couple of other things. I mean,
- 29:51Speaker 7: really we're fighting an enemy that wants to destroy us.
- 29:54Speaker 7: These people have been killing us for fifty years. I
- 29:58Speaker 7: mean when I saw during the BIS up the Semi
- 30:01Speaker 7: Bison tennual, what the American troops went through in Valley Forge,
- 30:05Speaker 7: those kids knew they would dine, but they wouldn't weave.
- 30:08Speaker 7: They stayed at Valley. They believed in having a nation.
- 30:12Speaker 7: That's It's just we're.
- 30:14Speaker 2: A softer generation of people. We're softer, you know, come on,
- 30:17Speaker 2: let's face it. In World War Two, people sixteen year
- 30:21Speaker 2: olds lied about their age in order to get into
- 30:24Speaker 2: the military because they were raised with a certain level
- 30:27Speaker 2: of pride of their country, that they had to serve
- 30:29Speaker 2: the country no matter what. There was valor in going
- 30:32Speaker 2: off and defending your nation. Today it's about, you know,
- 30:35Speaker 2: living in mommy and Daddy's basement and playing with video games.
- 30:38Speaker 2: And you know that doesn't mean listen, God bless I
- 30:41Speaker 2: didn't volunteer for the military. So I'm not going to
- 30:43Speaker 2: say that God bless all of them for doing it.
- 30:46Speaker 2: But I think we're raised in a softer environment. We
- 30:48Speaker 2: have our air conditioning, and suddenly you're put in a
- 30:50Speaker 2: cramped environment. You have to sleep twelve on twelve off
- 30:53Speaker 2: in the same bunk with people. It's a different thing.
- 30:56Speaker 2: And you know, we're just not used to that kind
- 30:58Speaker 2: of lifestyle anymore.
- 31:00Speaker 7: No, absolutely, But you know what I called you a
- 31:02Speaker 7: while ago, and I said that same point about World
- 31:04Speaker 7: War Two. Those kids who volunteered lived through the depression,
- 31:10Speaker 7: they had nothing, and you know what they did the
- 31:13Speaker 7: next day, they went to vote to fight on a
- 31:16Speaker 7: vote here I go again to reister to serve. I
- 31:19Speaker 7: imagine that their country, they were living on poison food.
- 31:23Speaker 7: I mean, they just but they knew they had to
- 31:26Speaker 7: defend this great country.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Hey, I'll give you one more, Robert. How about the
- 31:29Speaker 2: African Americans in World War Two who still volunteered to
- 31:33Speaker 2: fight in spite of the fact that they were segregated
- 31:35Speaker 2: in the military. How would you like my friend, my
- 31:38Speaker 2: dear friend, Laurie Stokes, God bless her. We used to
- 31:41Speaker 2: work at Channel seven together, one of my dearest friends.
- 31:43Speaker 2: She's phenomenal. Laurie's dad who became a congressman, Congressman Lewis Stokes,
- 31:48Speaker 2: And it was just the anniversary of his passing the
- 31:50Speaker 2: other day. Congressman Stokes was in the Navy and he
- 31:54Speaker 2: was segregated He wasn't allowed to directly face people he
- 31:59Speaker 2: served in the mess you have to do it through
- 32:01Speaker 2: some back window or something. Yet he still did it.
- 32:04Speaker 2: Why because he was proud to be an American. It
- 32:07Speaker 2: was more important to him to be an American and
- 32:08Speaker 2: even though he was treated with disrespect than to not
- 32:12Speaker 2: be an Americans. Your talk about that's commitment. Hello, So
- 32:17Speaker 2: these people, God bless them and God rest their souls.
- 32:20Speaker 2: These are the great patriots. And unfortunately you have the
- 32:23Speaker 2: left being poisoned by communism and socialism from around the world,
- 32:27Speaker 2: so that kids are being raised, thanks to the idiots
- 32:30Speaker 2: and academia, being raised to hate this country and hate
- 32:33Speaker 2: tradition and hate morals. Literally everything we were taught was
- 32:36Speaker 2: right is now being told to us as being wrong. Robert.
- 32:40Speaker 2: We love when you call my friend. We got to
- 32:42Speaker 2: take a break, but thank you so much for calling

- 34:11Speaker 2: of New York. It's Ken Rosatto, Infra Mark on your Friday.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Great to have you here. I used to be on
- 34:17Speaker 2: Channel seven for twenty years. For those of you who
- 34:19Speaker 2: say I know that name, Why do I know this
- 34:21Speaker 2: Versato cat? Yeah, I was on Channel seven for twenty years,
- 34:24Speaker 2: did the morning and the noon show.
- 34:26Speaker 3: Uh.
- 34:27Speaker 2: And I was on Channel five before that, Channel fifty
- 34:30Speaker 2: five before that. I was all over the place. It
- 34:34Speaker 2: was like, you know, it was like air. Everywhere you look,
- 34:36Speaker 2: you found a Ken Rosatto these days, am on on
- 34:39Speaker 2: New Jersey O NNJ dot com. You could stream it
- 34:42Speaker 2: anywhere doing a talk news opinion. We do that on
- 34:47Speaker 2: a streaming TV channel in New Jersey. We'd love you
- 34:50Speaker 2: to check it out sometime ONNJ dot com. Well, are
- 34:52Speaker 2: you still following everything going on in Iran? Knows we
- 34:57Speaker 2: haven't talked about it for a few days. President Trump
- 35:00Speaker 2: says that he's launched an economic D Day campaign against Iran,
- 35:04Speaker 2: announcing crushing economic operations to force Tehran back to negotiations. Well,
- 35:09Speaker 2: he threatened any countries that comes to their aid with
- 35:13Speaker 2: massive financial retaliation. The announcement, though, causes spike in oil prices,
- 35:18Speaker 2: even though we're supposed to cause loyal prices to come down.
- 35:21Speaker 2: Here's Treasury Secretary Scott Besson who talked about it.
- 35:24Speaker 6: And we've got a spike in oil prices today that
- 35:27Speaker 6: I don't really understand. You know, our announcement is for
- 35:32Speaker 6: economics action, and I think that the economic action will
- 35:37Speaker 6: mean that oil prices will come down sooner.
- 35:39Speaker 2: I think a lot of people I don't know how
- 35:41Speaker 2: you feel about this, but I think a lot of
- 35:43Speaker 2: people have had it up to here. You know, it's
- 35:45Speaker 2: been months now. Initially we thought, oh, we're going to
- 35:48Speaker 2: go in one day clean it all out. Boom. Remember
- 35:52Speaker 2: when we took out the nuclear stuff. Everybody thought, wow,
- 35:56Speaker 2: forty plus years of Iranian nonsense, forty five forty six
- 36:01Speaker 2: years of Iranian nonsense from the Ayatola and everything else.
- 36:05Speaker 2: And we finally took them out. This is great done.
- 36:08Speaker 2: The stock markets saled, oil prices started to come down.
- 36:12Speaker 2: It was like ding dong, the witch is dead. We're
- 36:14Speaker 2: all happy. And we find out a little while later
- 36:18Speaker 2: there's still nuclear dust. We have to clean it. But
- 36:21Speaker 2: don't worry about it. It'll take forever for them to
- 36:23Speaker 2: find it, let alone us. Don't worry. There's nothing of fear.
- 36:27Speaker 2: It's fine. We've knocked out all of their military. Then
- 36:31Speaker 2: suddenly the drones started attacking the neighboring countries. Nah, I
- 36:34Speaker 2: don't worry about it. Just a few drones left over.
- 36:37Speaker 2: We got it. It's all good. Then all of a
- 36:40Speaker 2: sudden they started attacking a military basis. Nah, I don't
- 36:42Speaker 2: worry about It's just one leftover drunk Listen. I love
- 36:47Speaker 2: me my President Trump. I do our big supporter, I
- 36:50Speaker 2: acknowledge it, big supporter of President Trump. But I'm with
- 36:54Speaker 2: I'm now in that camp where a lot of people
- 36:57Speaker 2: are saying, did we have to do this at the time?
- 37:00Speaker 2: Time we did? And you could say yeah, because of
- 37:01Speaker 2: the nukes they were about to come about? Were they?
- 37:04Speaker 2: Are you of the same camp where you're thinking, maybe
- 37:08Speaker 2: we should have just waited till the midterms, win the
- 37:11Speaker 2: winter in midterms and then go after Iran. If you're
- 37:14Speaker 2: going to do that at all, and if you go in,
- 37:18Speaker 2: you better go in knowing that you're going to come
- 37:21Speaker 2: right out. You better go in knowing that you're going
- 37:24Speaker 2: to strategically and surgically take care of what you have
- 37:27Speaker 2: to take care of, get it done, and get out.
- 37:31Speaker 2: I don't think anybody on the left or the right
- 37:35Speaker 2: signed up for something that just keeps going and going. Oh,
- 37:39Speaker 2: wait a minute, Ken, Now I'm talking like the right wing.
- 37:42Speaker 2: Wait a minute, Ken. World War two lasted years, Vietnam
- 37:45Speaker 2: War lasted decades. What are you talking about, Ken? This
- 37:48Speaker 2: is only a couple of months. You're right, but it
- 37:51Speaker 2: was also a different time. Today, we're doing things more
- 37:54Speaker 2: with drones, We're doing things more distant electronically, big aircraft
- 37:59Speaker 2: carriers that we didn't do so much with previous wars.
- 38:03Speaker 2: So the expectation is we have more intelligence, we should
- 38:08Speaker 2: be able to go and take care of things come out.
- 38:11Speaker 2: The question is what's going on in Iran? Is Iran
- 38:15Speaker 2: working quietly with Russia or China? Is that why this
- 38:19Speaker 2: is still lingering? And if so, what do we have
- 38:22Speaker 2: to do to stop it? Did we underestimate participation by
- 38:25Speaker 2: these other countries. I think a lot of people probably thought,
- 38:29Speaker 2: especially in the intelligence community, Russia's probably broke now, and
- 38:33Speaker 2: they probably are. You know, Russia at this point has
- 38:35Speaker 2: spent so much money on its war against Ukraine, and
- 38:39Speaker 2: the US and Europe has been backing Ukraine. So should
- 38:42Speaker 2: we be shocked if Russia is backing Iran. I'm amazed
- 38:48Speaker 2: by members of our own elected parties on the right,
- 38:52Speaker 2: the Republicans, Conservatives, libertarians, who would be stunned at the
- 38:58Speaker 2: idea of Russia begin to help Iran when the US
- 39:02Speaker 2: and Europe has ostensibly been helping Ukraine. You know, I
- 39:06Speaker 2: should say Iran, yes, because we've been helping Ukraine against
- 39:10Speaker 2: Russia all this time. So of course Russia's pissed off
- 39:13Speaker 2: at US. Of course they'll do something clandestine to help Iran.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Why wouldn't they. And China, China wants to be in charge.
- 39:21Speaker 2: They want to be the I'm trying to use a
- 39:24Speaker 2: term that isn't dirty on the air, the HSIC, the head,
- 39:29Speaker 2: you know what, in charge, head in charge. I can't
- 39:32Speaker 2: say the word. I just say that, and you know
- 39:33Speaker 2: what I'm saying. They want to be in charge of everything.
- 39:36Speaker 2: They want to be the big dogs. And so what
- 39:39Speaker 2: better way then to make sure that this becomes a
- 39:41Speaker 2: war that takes us into oblivion, that gets a democrat
- 39:45Speaker 2: Democrat Congress elected, that maybe impeaches the president who has
- 39:49Speaker 2: done so much to hurt the Chinese economy. What better
- 39:53Speaker 2: way than to do this to quietly back Iran to
- 39:57Speaker 2: embarrass President Trump. Of course these other countries are helping,
- 40:01Speaker 2: but that's something we should have known, and maybe we did,
- 40:05Speaker 2: but we underestimated them. At this point, what do we
- 40:08Speaker 2: do about it? And how long are we going to
- 40:10Speaker 2: be stuck in this? And will it make us lose
- 40:13Speaker 2: the midterms? We lose the midterms. Look, it's all going
- 40:16Speaker 2: to be non stomp impeachment all the time. That's all
- 40:20Speaker 2: you're gonna hear. Impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, impeachment. It's going to
- 40:24Speaker 2: be two years of get Trump out, big man, orange
- 40:27Speaker 2: man bad, get him out of office. So is this
- 40:30Speaker 2: what we want to deal with? I don't know. I
- 40:32Speaker 2: think that's even worse than the whole Iran quandary. But
- 40:35Speaker 2: we need to finish Iran either, you know what, or
- 40:38Speaker 2: get off the pot, mister president. Get this done and
- 40:42Speaker 2: this whole big economic thing, you know what, before making
- 40:46Speaker 2: the announcement.
- 40:47Speaker 8: Just do it.
- 40:48Speaker 2: How do you feel? Just do it. Don't make the announcement,
- 40:53Speaker 2: Just do it. Don't photograph or I should say megaphone
- 40:59Speaker 2: to the universe, this is our plan. We're gonna just
- 41:02Speaker 2: do it. If you want to economically cut them off,
- 41:06Speaker 2: call all the countries quietly and do it. But stop
- 41:09Speaker 2: making the announcement, because every time we make an announcement,
- 41:12Speaker 2: it's sort of like it blows up in our faces.
- 41:14Speaker 2: And it's starting to get to a point where where
- 41:16Speaker 2: we're crying wolf. It's the sky is falling every single day,
- 41:21Speaker 2: and I think people are just tired of it. Let
- 41:23Speaker 2: me know how you feel about it. Eight hundred three
- 41:25Speaker 2: to two one zero seven ten, eight hundred three to
- 41:28Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten. It's certainly impacting the polls,
- 41:32Speaker 2: and I sure a sec hope it doesn't cost us
- 41:34Speaker 2: the midterms, because there was a point and it was
- 41:35Speaker 2: looking like we were gonna squeak by that this was
- 41:38Speaker 2: not going to be a midterm election when the president
- 41:41Speaker 2: and the power of the party in power was going
- 41:44Speaker 2: to lose. It looked like we had a chance on
- 41:46Speaker 2: the Republican side of keeping both houses, albeit a small chance,
- 41:50Speaker 2: but there was a chance of keeping both houses until
- 41:53Speaker 2: the whole arm thing just blow up in our faces.
- 41:56Speaker 2: So now we have to figure it out, but we'd
- 41:59Speaker 2: better figure it out fast. Eight hundred three to two
- 42:02Speaker 2: one zero seven ten, eight hundred three to two one
- 42:05Speaker 2: zero seven ten. So what do you think about the
- 42:08Speaker 2: Dallas Fort Worth International Airport thing that happened last week?
- 42:11Speaker 2: Did you hear about this Dallas Fort Worth International Airport?
- 42:15Speaker 2: And on the Dallas area, they've had a huge influx
- 42:19Speaker 2: of Muslims the whole Central Texas area wherever there's been
- 42:23Speaker 2: wide open space, all right, you've had Muslims coming in
- 42:29Speaker 2: and look, Muslim Americans. God bless you. Religious group. I
- 42:32Speaker 2: used to be a priest years ago. I'm religious. I
- 42:35Speaker 2: applaud anyone who's religious until you get to a point
- 42:38Speaker 2: where you impose your values on everybody else around you.
- 42:41Speaker 2: And by the way, I feel the same way with
- 42:43Speaker 2: Catholic groups, Protestant groups. Anyone live and let live in America?
- 42:47Speaker 2: All right? When you come here, you should become part
- 42:51Speaker 2: of this fabric and this society. So you want to
- 42:54Speaker 2: practice your faith, God bless you, Yes, you should. You
- 42:58Speaker 2: want to take over six acres of land and make
- 43:01Speaker 2: it exclusively something for Muslims and have the call to
- 43:05Speaker 2: prayer echoed in the skies for people to hear thousands
- 43:09Speaker 2: of miles around. When this is let's just face it,
- 43:13Speaker 2: it was founded by Christians with a Christian ideal. All right, now,
- 43:17Speaker 2: you say ken separation of church and state, you cannot
- 43:20Speaker 2: remove the reality of the fact that this was a Yes,
- 43:25Speaker 2: you could say Judeo Christian because by virtue of the
- 43:27Speaker 2: word Christian, Christian is Judaeo Christian, because Christianity was set
- 43:31Speaker 2: up on the basis of Judaism. For those who don't
- 43:34Speaker 2: know that, go back and go back to Catholic school.
- 43:36Speaker 2: All my like Italian American Catholic friends who know nothing
- 43:39Speaker 2: about their faith because they didn't pay attention growing up,
- 43:42Speaker 2: go back and read. You couldn't be Christian if you
- 43:44Speaker 2: didn't have Judaism. You couldn't be Catholic if you weren't Christian.
- 43:47Speaker 2: You got to figure it out. Figure it out. Do
- 43:49Speaker 2: the thinking. Please. It drives me nuts when people say, oh,
- 43:53Speaker 2: I'm a Catholic. I don't know, but them Jews. Yeah,
- 43:55Speaker 2: you couldn't be Catholic if there wasn't Jews. If there
- 43:58Speaker 2: weren't Jews, it's part of the religion. Okay, figure it out.
- 44:02Speaker 2: I'm sorry to sound if it sounds condescending. I don't
- 44:04Speaker 2: mean to, but it just I'm so fed up at
- 44:06Speaker 2: this point for people who don't realize that we come
- 44:08Speaker 2: out of Judaism that it's like, how do you not
- 44:10Speaker 2: know this? At this point, Judaism is the mother religion
- 44:12Speaker 2: of even Islam ostensibly. But when you look at folks
- 44:20Speaker 2: coming over whenever you have groups of people coming over
- 44:22Speaker 2: in moss, instead of integrating, instead of becoming part of
- 44:27Speaker 2: the fabric, what ends up happening is they kind of
- 44:29Speaker 2: create a bubble and isolated bubble and they try to
- 44:33Speaker 2: change the area around them to be them as opposed
- 44:37Speaker 2: to them integrating into society around them. And this is
- 44:40Speaker 2: the case when you have all the Muslims coming into
- 44:43Speaker 2: Central Texas, all living in the same area, all going
- 44:47Speaker 2: to their giant mosque that they're building. Now they're building
- 44:50Speaker 2: an Islamic center in Central Texas. It's going to be
- 44:52Speaker 2: one of the biggest in the country. And what ends
- 44:55Speaker 2: up happening is then they run for elective office and
- 44:57Speaker 2: it becomes an all Islamic state within it. State did
- 45:01Speaker 2: the same thing in Dearborn, Michigan. They're doing the same
- 45:04Speaker 2: thing in parts of northern New Jersey where you go
- 45:07Speaker 2: into parts of like Passaic and Patterson in the areas
- 45:10Speaker 2: where you say, okay, are we still in the United States.
- 45:13Speaker 2: That doesn't mean we don't love you and don't welcome
- 45:16Speaker 2: Muslim America. I have lots of friends. I have a
- 45:18Speaker 2: friend who's in his mom. We have lots of friends
- 45:20Speaker 2: who are Muslim. God bless you, and I love you.
- 45:23Speaker 2: I don't care. I'm not anti Islam at all. I
- 45:26Speaker 2: am anti converting the world. You will do you and
- 45:31Speaker 2: let me do me, and we love and respect each
- 45:34Speaker 2: other for our differences. But when you get to a
- 45:37Speaker 2: point where you say, you know, Ken, we need to talk,
- 45:41Speaker 2: and if you don't want to do it our way,
- 45:42Speaker 2: then we got a problem. Eh. That's when you cross
- 45:45Speaker 2: the line. Ken, we don't do that. Yeah, go back
- 45:48Speaker 2: over the last fifteen hundred years. Yeah you kind of do. Yeah,
- 45:51Speaker 2: you kind of do. It's happened in every country. I mean,
- 45:53Speaker 2: look what's happening right now, and say you to Spain,
- 45:56Speaker 2: this is what you've done, and people saying, Ken, that
- 45:58Speaker 2: was just one case of a bunch of migrants trying
- 46:01Speaker 2: to get into a place to live a better life. Really, really,
- 46:05Speaker 2: they're surrounded by twenty Muslim countries and yet you had
- 46:09Speaker 2: eighty thousand young military age men, not women, not children,
- 46:14Speaker 2: just twenty something year old military age men all invading
- 46:19Speaker 2: little city state that has for fifteen hundred years been
- 46:23Speaker 2: part of Spain. And you're all Muslim and they're a
- 46:28Speaker 2: tiny group of by the way, Muslims and Christians who
- 46:31Speaker 2: live in Saeyuta. There are plenty of Muslims there. They
- 46:34Speaker 2: do live and let live. It's fine. Just like in Israel.
- 46:38Speaker 2: You have hundreds of thousands of Arabs who live in Israel,
- 46:42Speaker 2: who are you know, on their Knesset, and they're allowed
- 46:45Speaker 2: to live in a live they can live. It's when
- 46:47Speaker 2: the Arabs come in from the outside and say no,
- 46:49Speaker 2: now we will conquer you and you have to do
- 46:51Speaker 2: it our way, and we're taking over Jerusalem, that's when
- 46:54Speaker 2: you have a problem. And the same thing in Sayouta,
- 46:58Speaker 2: when you have eighty thousand people suddenly come in and say, oh,
- 47:01Speaker 2: we're going to take over. Well, that's when Spain has
- 47:03Speaker 2: to send in the military and say no. And by
- 47:05Speaker 2: the way, Morocco has done this to Spanish territories that
- 47:10Speaker 2: they've had for a thousand years. In northern Africa, it's
- 47:13Speaker 2: been part of Spain and one after another. You've had
- 47:18Speaker 2: little city states within that have fallen to Morocco. Morocco
- 47:22Speaker 2: decides one day to call out the military and take over,
- 47:26Speaker 2: and guess what, within a couple of months it's theirs
- 47:29Speaker 2: and Spain has just you know, clapped their hands and said, okay,
- 47:31Speaker 2: that's another one. We just lost to Morocco because they
- 47:34Speaker 2: don't want to repeat of what happened. It's fifteen hundred
- 47:37Speaker 2: years ago and a thousand years ago. For those who
- 47:39Speaker 2: don't know their geographical history, Spain, Portugal, parts of southern Italy,
- 47:46Speaker 2: you know in Sicily and Naples, you know, you Ciciaiani
- 47:50Speaker 2: and Napolitani. You know that you were all at one
- 47:53Speaker 2: point controlled by Spain, and prior to that you were
- 47:57Speaker 2: oh actually at the time you were controlled by Morocco,
- 48:00Speaker 2: and most of the people there, your ancestors were Muslims.
- 48:03Speaker 2: I don't know if you know that, not Merizotto watch
- 48:06Speaker 2: them mouth. Yeah, yeah, that's a fact that all of
- 48:10Speaker 2: southern Italy and Spain and Portugal and even parts of
- 48:14Speaker 2: southern France were actually all controlled by the Moors as
- 48:18Speaker 2: they were called the Moroccans, the Moors. They were all
- 48:21Speaker 2: Islamic and there were the battles and the Crusaans, and
- 48:25Speaker 2: we fought and that got it back and made a
- 48:27Speaker 2: Christian again. But that at one point was all Muslim.
- 48:31Speaker 2: And it looks like it's going right back the way
- 48:34Speaker 2: it was. The pendulum is swinging right back because whenever
- 48:38Speaker 2: there is a void something and someone will fill that void.
- 48:43Speaker 2: That happens through history. And right now the void is
- 48:47Speaker 2: Christianity going away. It's religion because Christians, Eh, they're not
- 48:53Speaker 2: interested anymore. Hey, they got liberal and they decided we
- 48:56Speaker 2: don't need to go to church. And eh, I'm spiritual,
- 48:59Speaker 2: not religious. I'm spiritual. I just think we all do
- 49:03Speaker 2: good and we believe in God and we'll just be fine.
- 49:06Speaker 2: The problem is other people don't think that liberally about it.
- 49:10Speaker 2: You have serious, hardcore conservative religious people, whether they be
- 49:14Speaker 2: Islamic or even certain hardcore Christian groups Orthodox severe I'm
- 49:20Speaker 2: talking about, you know, and boy, this sounds pejorative. I
- 49:24Speaker 2: don't mean it this way, but you have some significant
- 49:29Speaker 2: Orthodox Judaism who it's all about taking over an area
- 49:33Speaker 2: and converting everybody. You know, Jews don't convert. They don't
- 49:36Speaker 2: usually it's usually what you're born into. But in the
- 49:38Speaker 2: case of Islam, and like in case of I know
- 49:41Speaker 2: friends who are Mormon, friends who are Jehovah Is. It's
- 49:44Speaker 2: about getting everybody else to be part of your group.
- 49:47Speaker 2: It's evangelizing. And they'll say, but it's biblical ken to evangelize. Yeah,
- 49:51Speaker 2: but in modern America we don't push like that. That's
- 49:55Speaker 2: not the way it works here. Maybe in other places
- 49:57Speaker 2: it does. But the point is be because of the
- 50:00Speaker 2: vacuum in religion in Europe. Right now you see Europe
- 50:04Speaker 2: literally falling before our eyes and turning back into a
- 50:09Speaker 2: Muslim state. Both for right now it's people moving in
- 50:13Speaker 2: from Muslim countries, but eventually it'll be people being converted
- 50:17Speaker 2: sort of by force. It'll be the popular thing to
- 50:21Speaker 2: be Muslim. If you want to be in business in
- 50:24Speaker 2: certain Spanish cities, you better be Muslim or else you're
- 50:27Speaker 2: not gonna You're not gonna be on the board of
- 50:28Speaker 2: this and the board of that. That's sort of what's
- 50:30Speaker 2: gonna happen little by little, and you'll have people initially
- 50:33Speaker 2: I'm just Muslim because that's how we get along, and
- 50:36Speaker 2: I go to mosque every now and then to be
- 50:37Speaker 2: seen and blah blah blah. Before you know it it's
- 50:40Speaker 2: gonna be generation after generation and you will see Europe
- 50:43Speaker 2: convert again. This is what is happening before our eyes.
- 50:46Speaker 2: And it all stems with I'm really not religious. I'm
- 50:49Speaker 2: just I'm spiritual. I'm living. Let live. We don't really
- 50:53Speaker 2: belong to a faith. That's where it starts. Now, Am
- 50:56Speaker 2: I saying that the only solution is we all have
- 50:58Speaker 2: to become diehard? What picked your Christian religion maybe, or
- 51:05Speaker 2: pick your Jewish, your sector section of Judaism maybe? But
- 51:09Speaker 2: what I am saying is, at the very least, if
- 51:11Speaker 2: you're going to not be religious, just beware that somebody
- 51:15Speaker 2: else will be. Seven ten WR, The Voice of New York.
- 51:18Speaker 2: It's Ken Rosotto win for Mark on a Friday. We
- 51:21Speaker 2: will take your calls at eight hundred three to two
- 51:22Speaker 2: one zero seven ten, eight hundred three to two one
- 51:25Speaker 2: zero seven ten. Those calls coming up next seven ten WAR.
- 51:29Speaker 1: Now more of the marximone Show on seven ten WR.
- 51:34Speaker 2: Filling in for Mark. Here again is Ken Rosatto. It's
- 51:38Speaker 2: going to be with you on a Friday. Go straight
- 51:39Speaker 2: to our busy phones at ten twenty eight. Chris and
- 51:42Speaker 2: Beth Page, Long Island, how did you fare with the
- 51:44Speaker 2: weather Chris.
- 51:46Speaker 13: Uh, okay, you know a little dicey, but uh, okay,
- 51:50Speaker 13: you know I was watching it and you know, make
- 51:52Speaker 13: sure my whole family was home and uh not bad.
- 51:55Speaker 13: Beth Page is kind of in the middle. They got
- 51:57Speaker 13: killed down on the South Shore Atlantic piece.
- 51:59Speaker 2: We did, sure, so that's not what you called about.
- 52:02Speaker 2: I decided to ask while I had you good morning
- 52:05Speaker 2: to know I made that.
- 52:06Speaker 13: Okay, but thanks for asking, so any I can. The
- 52:08Speaker 13: reason I'm calling is I really got to disagree with you, Okay.
- 52:11Speaker 13: I've heard a lot of my friends that have said
- 52:14Speaker 13: similar things about, you know, what is Trump doing with Iran?
- 52:18Speaker 13: And he should have? You know, the midterms. Let me
- 52:20Speaker 13: tell you something. I followed Calshi Markets. You know, there
- 52:24Speaker 13: are sights that show the odds of doing some winning
- 52:27Speaker 13: something and you can gamble on them. I've been following
- 52:29Speaker 13: since January. As far as the midterms and the Senate, Okay,
- 52:33Speaker 13: you know, it's always been about eighty percent favorite. The
- 52:37Speaker 13: Dems were going to win long before Iran. I'm just
- 52:39Speaker 13: telling you that we went in on February twenty eighth, Okay,
- 52:43Speaker 13: so it was never going our way. I'm just going back.
- 52:46Speaker 2: I got it back. I don't let you continue talking.
- 52:48Speaker 2: I'm not going to cut you up, okay, But there
- 52:51Speaker 2: have been several national polls that showed just the opposite Calcie. Remember,
- 52:55Speaker 2: is this small subset of people who like to gamble,
- 52:57Speaker 2: people who like to buy lottery gamble. They're the ones
- 53:00Speaker 2: who go to cal She. And it's it's like ninety male,
- 53:03Speaker 2: ten percent females. There's a very different different demographics to
- 53:08Speaker 2: call She. That's not the call She's been right on
- 53:10Speaker 2: a lot of things, but when it comes to that,
- 53:12Speaker 2: I don't necessarily buy call She. It's the it's the
- 53:15Speaker 2: momentary pulse, like that moment of a subset of opinion
- 53:20Speaker 2: that that goes on cal She. But you know, there
- 53:22Speaker 2: were polls that showed that as the economy was turning,
- 53:25Speaker 2: as oil was dropping oil prices, things were starting to
- 53:29Speaker 2: look like even if we were to lose, it would
- 53:31Speaker 2: be right down to the line. Now it's looking like
- 53:34Speaker 2: a landslide for the Democrats. So that's where I politely disagree.
- 53:38Speaker 2: I part ways with you on that, but please continue,
- 53:40Speaker 2: go ahead, Chris.
- 53:41Speaker 13: All right, And then I got to push back in you.
- 53:43Speaker 13: It's either way, it's not going to be a landslide. Okay,
- 53:46Speaker 13: because do you know how many literally houses seats are
- 53:50Speaker 13: up for you know, there's not that many. It's it's
- 53:52Speaker 13: it's very and we have.
- 53:54Speaker 2: A every every house seat is every house seat? Is
- 53:58Speaker 2: you mean you mean which one might might change? You
- 54:00Speaker 2: mean which one might flip? You mean it?
- 54:02Speaker 13: You know what I mean?
- 54:03Speaker 2: Right now?
- 54:03Speaker 13: Yeah, And it's it's been a very narrow amount because
- 54:08Speaker 13: I've been following this, Ken, I'm just saying I've been
- 54:11Speaker 13: following this and the fact that this whole Iran thing
- 54:14Speaker 13: is ruining it. It's just I'm glad Trump didn't like
- 54:18Speaker 13: this is the reason I called I'm glad Trump did
- 54:21Speaker 13: what he did when he did it, okay, because I
- 54:23Speaker 13: don't think you should ever worry about, oh, we're going
- 54:26Speaker 13: to lose the midterms if I don't do this, let
- 54:28Speaker 13: me do it after the midterms. And I've heard him
- 54:31Speaker 13: in interviews. We disagree here he says we're much closer,
- 54:35Speaker 13: and you you kind of pur put it. You're like,
- 54:38Speaker 13: I ran, there were they really going to get one?
- 54:41Speaker 13: He had information that they were. I'm glad he went
- 54:43Speaker 13: in when he did. I was so happy on February
- 54:46Speaker 13: twenty eighth and just let the court let things go
- 54:49Speaker 13: where they may. I'm not critical at all of what
- 54:52Speaker 13: he's doing to Iran. Every day that he goes after
- 54:54Speaker 13: them is a good day, and I don't care if
- 54:56Speaker 13: he does it before the midterms or after the midterms.
- 54:59Speaker 13: They're clear the number one problem in this world, Chris.
- 55:02Speaker 2: Remember, Remember we had absolute, die hard information that we
- 55:07Speaker 2: had weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Die absolutely die
- 55:11Speaker 2: we and I was the biggest defender of going in.
- 55:15Speaker 2: We had absolute information and then we found some chemicals
- 55:19Speaker 2: on the side of the road. But it turns out
- 55:21Speaker 2: that wasn't even true. None of it was true our information.
- 55:24Speaker 2: Either the information was wrong or it was intentionally wrong
- 55:27Speaker 2: because they wanted you know, they talk about it. You
- 55:29Speaker 2: get the conspiracy theorists and the military industrial complex and
- 55:34Speaker 2: the money that's made and everything else. That's a whole
- 55:36Speaker 2: other argument for another day. The point is, the point
- 55:38Speaker 2: is in and we got it. We have to go
- 55:40Speaker 2: to the news, so finish.
- 55:41Speaker 7: I let you go.
- 55:42Speaker 13: But ken Israel got us this information. We haven't lost
- 55:46Speaker 13: that many soldier's Okay, so much different from the Iraq war.
- 55:49Speaker 3: That was so different.
- 55:52Speaker 13: Israel got us this information.
- 55:54Speaker 8: We went in.
- 55:55Speaker 13: How did we kill forty of their leaders. By the way,
- 55:58Speaker 13: just think of that that we killed.
- 56:00Speaker 2: Actually, you know how honestly, you know you know how right?
- 56:04Speaker 2: Did you know? How?
- 56:05Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 56:05Speaker 2: They we set up. We set up the cameras. They
- 56:07Speaker 2: literally their their cameras that like we have the cameras
- 56:11Speaker 2: and the traffic and everything else. We actually watched their
- 56:14Speaker 2: limos going into a meeting. That's how we killed most
- 56:18Speaker 2: of them. We watched their cars, We saw the license
- 56:21Speaker 2: plates as each limo pulled into a building for a meeting.
- 56:24Speaker 2: We bombed the building. That's how they killed most. So
- 56:26Speaker 2: it's not that they went to their individual houses at
- 56:28Speaker 2: specific dimes and took them out. It was brilliant, it't,
- 56:31Speaker 2: got me wrong, But it was a lot more one shot,
- 56:34Speaker 2: one time killed them all than people realize.
- 56:38Speaker 13: Well, look at the information we had, That's what I'm saying.
- 56:40Speaker 13: You can't compare it to what.
- 56:41Speaker 2: Well that was that was online. It was it was
- 56:43Speaker 2: literally on the internet for anybody to glean and we
- 56:46Speaker 2: just some somebody said, hey, you realize all their traffic
- 56:49Speaker 2: cams are online just like ours. I mean, God forbid
- 56:51Speaker 2: the same the same could happen us. We better be
- 56:53Speaker 2: very careful and.
- 56:55Speaker 13: You don't think I ran was close to getting a
- 56:57Speaker 13: nuclear weapon.
- 56:57Speaker 7: That's just no.
- 56:58Speaker 2: I do think. But the question, remember two years ago
- 57:01Speaker 2: we said they were right on the verge, and they weren't.
- 57:03Speaker 2: It took two years. So were they like tomorrow gonna
- 57:05Speaker 2: have a nuclear weapon? Maybe they were. But the fact is,
- 57:08Speaker 2: if we had this much information that we could go
- 57:10Speaker 2: in and knock them out in a day, then we
- 57:12Speaker 2: could have waited two more weeks and knock them out
- 57:14Speaker 2: in a day, or three more months and knock them
- 57:16Speaker 2: out in the day. That's the point I'm trying to make.
- 57:19Speaker 2: And I listen. I don't say you're wrong. I could
- 57:21Speaker 2: be totally wrong, Chris. I just hope and keep our
- 57:24Speaker 2: fingers crossed. Things don't turn entirely against this in the fall.
- 57:27Speaker 2: I think we're both on the same page, just with
- 57:29Speaker 2: tiny differences. It's like we're brothers who both love Mom,
- 57:32Speaker 2: only we love her in a slightly different way. That's
- 57:35Speaker 2: all Chris and Bethpage. I appreciate that phone. They're always
- 57:38Speaker 2: please call back anytime.
- 57:40Speaker 1: This is the Mark Simone Show on seven to ten.
- 57:43Speaker 1: WI Ken from today, Here's Ken, Rosanna and.
- 57:48Speaker 2: So good to be with you. On a Friday, after
- 57:50Speaker 2: all that nasty weather we had yesterday. Fortunately, today's not
- 57:54Speaker 2: gonna be anything like yesterday, mixed clouds and sun and
- 57:58Speaker 2: race Stagic saying it's gonna be pro probably close to
- 58:00Speaker 2: eighty degrees for most of the area. So enjoy it
- 58:04Speaker 2: because we're going to get some more cloudy weather, maybe
- 58:06Speaker 2: some stormy weather again over parts of the weekend. So
- 58:09Speaker 2: it's not going to be the greatest getaway weekend. But
- 58:11Speaker 2: you know what that means when it's a nasty weather weekend,
- 58:15Speaker 2: it means it's perfect time to go to the movies.
- 58:18Speaker 2: So you know who knows more about movies than anybody
- 58:20Speaker 2: on earth that I know? It is Roger Friedman of
- 58:23Speaker 2: Showbiz four one one, and he is on the line.
- 58:26Speaker 2: Look at that. Good morning, Roger, good morning.
- 58:29Speaker 14: How are you ken?
- 58:30Speaker 2: You know, it's amazing. How do you know to call
- 58:32Speaker 2: when I start talking about what to do on the weekend?
- 58:34Speaker 2: And it's just amazing. It's like we are connected somewhere.
- 58:37Speaker 2: Feeling that is well, It's what I said is true, though,
- 58:40Speaker 2: there is nobody who knows about movies more than you, sir.
- 58:43Speaker 2: So Spider Man brand New Day out of control, already
- 58:48Speaker 2: broken the eight hundred million dollar mark in the US
- 58:51Speaker 2: two billion insanity? So should people.
- 58:55Speaker 3: Still see it?
- 58:55Speaker 2: Should people still go see it? Even if they saw work?
- 59:00Speaker 14: Oh, I think they've seen it three or four times
- 59:01Speaker 14: I get to this point. Yeah, But it's a lot
- 59:04Speaker 14: of fun. It's very well made. You know, the action
- 59:09Speaker 14: sequences are terrific, and it answers the questions from the
- 59:12Speaker 14: last movie when Peter Parker's friends no longer remembered him
- 59:17Speaker 14: and Sony remembered him, and that's the main thing. And
- 59:22Speaker 14: you know, it's just huge. And I think there'll be
- 59:25Speaker 14: one more of these with Tom Holland and Sendeia and
- 59:29Speaker 14: then they'll they'll bring it to an end. But it's
- 59:33Speaker 14: it's incredible that I think there have been nine Spider
- 59:37Speaker 14: Man movies now, which is, you know, since the beginning,
- 59:40Speaker 14: over twenty years. And who would have thought? Who would
- 59:42Speaker 14: have thought it? When I was buying Spider Man comics
- 59:45Speaker 14: for twelve cents, you know every month. I never would
- 59:49Speaker 14: have said to myself, one day this will be you know,
- 59:52Speaker 14: a gazillion dollar industry. But it really, it really has
- 59:56Speaker 14: turned out to be a fantastic success.
- 59:58Speaker 2: Would let me ask you this, if somebody hasn't seen
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: any of the recent films. Can they see this as
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: a standalone.
- 1:00:05Speaker 14: Yeah, yeah, you could see this as a standalone movie
- 1:00:08Speaker 14: because they tell you right at the beginning sort of
- 1:00:12Speaker 14: what happened in the last one. I mean, it would
- 1:00:14Speaker 14: be good to see the last one because it was
- 1:00:16Speaker 14: fun and you could see, you know, the last three
- 1:00:20Speaker 14: if you wanted to. But this one you could just
- 1:00:22Speaker 14: go into and you can get it. I mean, it's
- 1:00:24Speaker 14: Spider Man. It's not Macbeth.
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: You know you can.
- 1:00:30Speaker 14: By now, Spider Man has become our Macbeth. I mean
- 1:00:33Speaker 14: in a strange way, it's become like our Shakespeare because
- 1:00:37Speaker 14: it's just it's like endless. But these all these franchises,
- 1:00:40Speaker 14: like the Marvel franchise, the DC Contexts, Star Wars of
- 1:00:46Speaker 14: the Star Trek, these have become sort of the literature
- 1:00:49Speaker 14: of this generation. Very weird, but it's taken off you know,
- 1:00:55Speaker 14: my My movie literature, by the way, is Whatoody Allen
- 1:01:00Speaker 14: and I just announced this morning that he's going to
- 1:01:02Speaker 14: shoot his fifty first movie this fall in Spain. Wow,
- 1:01:07Speaker 14: he's going to be ninety one at the end of November.
- 1:01:11Speaker 14: I just, I just I was just told that he's
- 1:01:15Speaker 14: shooting his fifty first movie in Madrid, and don't know
- 1:01:18Speaker 14: who the cast is yet. He's also apparently been finishing
- 1:01:23Speaker 14: up a new novel, a second novel, and a play
- 1:01:25Speaker 14: for the stage. So that's incredible to me. He's our Shakespeare.
- 1:01:31Speaker 14: But maybe he'll put Spider Man in the movie.
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Yeah, right now, Wait a second, Woody Allen, you're saying
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: that he is more of a favorite when it comes
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: to movies than Madonna is.
- 1:01:41Speaker 14: To you, Madonna, this is the funniest thing, isn't it.
- 1:01:46Speaker 14: The Criterion Channel, which is, like, you know, it's supposed
- 1:01:51Speaker 14: to be an intellectual channel for great film buffs. They're
- 1:01:54Speaker 14: going to do a retrospective of three Madonna movies this
- 1:01:58Speaker 14: fall this fall, and she's the worst actress ever in films.
- 1:02:06Speaker 14: And the only movie that she made really that was
- 1:02:08Speaker 14: of any interest was Desperately Seeking Susan, which was, you know,
- 1:02:11Speaker 14: forty years ago, and that was because of Rosanna Arquette
- 1:02:15Speaker 14: and because of the director, Susan Seidelman, who was so great.
- 1:02:20Speaker 14: But outside of that, Madonna is that, you know, she's
- 1:02:22Speaker 14: a great personality and a great performer, but she's a
- 1:02:25Speaker 14: terrible actress. Nevertheless, two of her besides desperately seeking Susan.
- 1:02:32Speaker 14: Two of her worst movies are going to be part
- 1:02:35Speaker 14: of the Criterion Channel next month. I don't get it,
- 1:02:40Speaker 14: but it should be.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: It should be amusing, it should be indeed all right.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: Zevnded Wy the voice of New York Ken Rosatto in
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: from mark on a Friday, speaking with the great Roger
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: Friedman of Showbiz for one One can check it out
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: at showbizore one one dot com. Before I let you go,
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: we got to talk about two things. Of course. The
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: Odyssey is at the half billion dollar, still a great
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: film and doing well. And Anne Hathaway. If I need
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: to buy a lottery ticket, I'm asking Anne Hathaway because
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: she knows how to pick them. Three superstar Powerhouse scripts.
- 1:03:12Speaker 14: She's got a horror movie called The End of Oak
- 1:03:15Speaker 14: Street that people seem to like.
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: I haven't seen it.
- 1:03:19Speaker 14: And then she had The Devilwares Proud of Too earlier
- 1:03:21Speaker 14: in the spring. And she's the star of the Odyssey.
- 1:03:25Speaker 14: She's going to get an Oscar nomination. The Odyssey is
- 1:03:28Speaker 14: going to get like fifteen Oscar nominations. I can't imagine
- 1:03:32Speaker 14: any other film coming out between now and the end
- 1:03:34Speaker 14: of the year that will match it in any way.
- 1:03:36Speaker 14: So we know the Odyssey is going to be crowned
- 1:03:39Speaker 14: next March with all kinds of awards. And I wanted
- 1:03:43Speaker 14: to tell you about one other little film that's playing
- 1:03:45Speaker 14: in New York if you can find it. It's called
- 1:03:47Speaker 14: Late Fame and it stars Willem Dafoe and I love
- 1:03:51Speaker 14: this film and I'd like people to see it if
- 1:03:53Speaker 14: they can. And it's a real independent film, but it's
- 1:03:55Speaker 14: beautifully done, and I think if you're a real film person,
- 1:03:59Speaker 14: you'd you'd enjoy it.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: I love it, and I'm tired of people calling him
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: William de Faue. By the way, if I hear it
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: one more time, I'm going to bite my cheekins. And
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: he's born here.
- 1:04:11Speaker 14: I've never heard anyone call him billy.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: I've had somebody a conversation. I only know this stuff
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: only because I went to NYU Film School, right to
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: this school, and I remember having this intellectual conversation with
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: somebody and they said, well, you know, when he was
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: born in Germany, I said, isn't American? What do you mean?
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: Born in Germany? Film the Foe was born here. He's
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: like as American as us. Uh, totally one hundred percent,
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: just one last thing before I let you go. Roger
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Chris Rock, whom I love. I love Chris Rock, brilliant guy.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: Uh his cousin, April Rock, could become an SNL.
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: She might be.
- 1:04:46Speaker 14: They're they're making the decisions right now about the You know,
- 1:04:50Speaker 14: some people have left SNL as always happens, and they'll
- 1:04:54Speaker 14: be adding a couple of new young people. And they've
- 1:04:56Speaker 14: been looking for a young black female comic. They I
- 1:05:00Speaker 14: haven't really had one since Ego Neodam, who I loved.
- 1:05:05Speaker 14: She left a couple last year in twenty twenty five.
- 1:05:08Speaker 14: And so yeah, this April Rock, who's I have her
- 1:05:11Speaker 14: videos up on the site on showbiz for on one.
- 1:05:13Speaker 14: She's terrific and she's I think she's Chris's first or
- 1:05:16Speaker 14: second cousin. And she's not an EPO baby. She's funny
- 1:05:21Speaker 14: on her own, very talented, and she may be who knows,
- 1:05:24Speaker 14: she may be one of the next people to join
- 1:05:27Speaker 14: the SNL cast.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: She has one tenth the talent of Chris Rock. Then
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: we're in for something very special because Chris Rock is
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: just a brilliant, brilliant person and.
- 1:05:35Speaker 14: He has By the way, Chris Rock has a great
- 1:05:37Speaker 14: movie coming out this fall. I can't remember the name
- 1:05:41Speaker 14: of it, but you'll be seeing the press about it
- 1:05:43Speaker 14: soon and it's going to play at the New York
- 1:05:45Speaker 14: Film Festival.
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: So we'll watch it there.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: Yeah, let's look it up. As we talked to you,
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: Chris Rock movie, I'm typing it in right now. Let's
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: find it. We got you can't tease us like that. Okay,
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: let's see come on, come on, come on, let's get
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: with the internet here, let's see a movie movie, all right,
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: grown ups? We were any other and Beverly Hills Cotts
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: Old doesn't have the new stuff. It doesn't have anything here.
- 1:06:08Speaker 14: I'm sure.
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: Oh that's why. Oh wait is this head of state? No,
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: that's that's that's that's old. We'll figure it out if
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: if you find out while we're on the air, please
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: let us know and I'll mention it on you.
- 1:06:22Speaker 14: Misty Green. That's called Misty Green.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: There we go, Misty Green. Chris Rock directly called.
- 1:06:27Speaker 14: Misty Green, and I hear it's terrific and I'm really
- 1:06:31Speaker 14: looking forward to it.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: You know, when I was a Channel seven, Chris used
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: to have an apartment on the Upper West Uh when
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: he I guess during the week. If he was doing
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: anything in Manhattan, he would stay at his apartment and
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: then he lived over and I think Alpine at the
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: time when he was married, and but he would pop
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: by the studios and he would wave into the window.
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: He and Laurie Stokes, my go anchor at the time,
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: they were friends. He would wave in and I say,
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: that's Chris Rock and you know, we'd be on the
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: air talk about getting distracted while you're doing the news.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: It was pretty cool, cool, very nice man. The few
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: times I got toread him again. The website is Showbiz

- 1:07:10Speaker 2: Always a pleasure, my friend. Have a great weekend.
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: Thank you very much.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: You bet partly Cloudy's Guys Today, High's upper seventies, going
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: to take your calls Next eight hundred three two one
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: zero seven ten. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: This is Ken Rosotto and for Mark on a Friday
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: seven to ten wor coming right.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: Back live from the wr Life Back Studios, Bill Mark
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Zimone show Guess hosting from Mark Today, Ken Rosatto.
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: And so good to be with you on a Friday.
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: Not a bad day at all. After all the stormy
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: weather we had yesterday, today's going to be partly cloudy.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: High's near eighty degrees. We go to our busy phones
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: right now, Carlos and Union, New Jersey.
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: Good morning, Hey, Ken, how are you okay? The Muslims,
- 1:07:57Speaker 7: as you know, in California unless the superintend they got
- 1:08:00Speaker 7: paid off. I don't know where she was. There was
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: a school trip was at the parents' consent, and these
- 1:08:05Speaker 7: students were taken to a mosque and they were getting
- 1:08:08Speaker 7: up this phony book to Koran and the women had
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: this thing over the head. I mean, the thing is
- 1:08:13Speaker 7: this like you mentioned before. I mean, don't come here
- 1:08:16Speaker 7: trying to indoctorate our country found it on Christian biblical principles.
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: And I don't know. I mean to me, I have
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: nothing against anybody, but these people, you know, mostly they
- 1:08:28Speaker 7: should go back to the country. You know what, practice
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: what you believe, but don't bring it over here.
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, the school you're talking about, I remember hearing
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: the story. It happened in the fall and it was
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: at Palo Alto High School's Social Justice Pathway. So that's
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: you're talking about up in the area. And you're closer
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: to San Francisco where they happened to be to the
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: left of mouth, say tongue. And yes, the kids went
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: on this was a public school. They went on a
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: field trip to a mosque. So you got to scratch
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: your head because you would never have a field trip
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: to a Catholic church or a field trip to a
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: Protestant church or whatever, or to a temple. But yet
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: they had a field trip to a mosque. If you're
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: gonna do it for one, you gotta do it for all.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: I don't have a problem with doing it for all,
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: but you can't just do it for one and then
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: make that the official kind of the state message, because
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: that's when you get into trouble. Thank you so much
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: for the call, Carlos. We appreciate it. Seven to ten
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: wor Ken Rosotto and for Mark now.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: The Mark Simone show on seven ten wor filling in
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: for Mark.
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: Here's Ken Rosatto. It's so nice to meak with you
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: out of Friday. How did you fare with the nasty
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: weather yesterday?
- 1:09:29Speaker 8: Man?
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: There were times when I looked outside and I saw
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: the rain coming down in just sheets, and then other
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: times it was just a drizzle. But yeah, a lot
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: of parts of our tri state were really seriously, seriously hit.
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: And of course parts of southwestern Nassau County along the
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: Queen's border by Atlantic Beach, that area, they got hit
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: with a tornado. It's been confirmed it started out as
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: a water spout, so it wasn't super strong. But hey,
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: any tornado, even an EF zero, is still strong. You
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: gotta be careful of it. Here was some sat of
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: some people reacting to it.
- 1:10:02Speaker 14: Holy, this is a tornado.
- 1:10:05Speaker 10: Wow.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, and it's kind of shocking, right. We don't
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: usually see tornadoes in the northeast. Of course, again, the
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: tornadoes we get are nowhere near like the tornadoes in
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: the Midwest. Those are EF three's, fours fives. But like
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: I said, any tornado is not safe. We had more
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: flash flooding than anything else, like in parts of Queens
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: and even parts of coastal New Jersey.
- 1:10:27Speaker 4: This was Queens every time with t other storms. I
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: run home from work like wondering, hey, am I gonna
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: make it back safe? Twice this year, once last October
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: during Halloween. Three times within the span of not even
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: one year.
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: Man, there were cars that were totally flooded everywhere you went.
- 1:10:42Speaker 5: We couldn't get that tor tuck all. So everyone was
- 1:10:45Speaker 5: declining because of the weather because they had too much
- 1:10:48Speaker 5: going on.
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's hard. It was a tough, tough commute. Remember,
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: if ever you see standing water in the street, the
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: old saying is turn around, don't drown, and it's the truth,
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: because you need is like six to eight inches of
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: standing water, and depending on the weight of your car,
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: you could you could literally start floating because the tires
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: are made of air and depending on the weight. As
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: I mentioned, a giant truck is not going to float
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: away necessarily in six inches of water, but you know,
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: you can get maybe a foot of water could make
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: a small truck float. So you've got to be very careful.
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: If you're not sure, you don't know how deep things are.
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: Turn around. It's just safer at worsh you'll get a
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: beat from the guy behind you. But you know, I mean,
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: if you keep going forward, it could be tragic. So
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: you don't want to deal with that. Seven ten wo
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: r the Voice of New York. This is Ken Rosetto
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: and for the great Mark Simone, who has a nice
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: long weekend today. Mark, I hope you're enjoying yourself, buddy,
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: and we got a lot to talk about. Phone lines
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: are open. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. I don't
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: know if you guys heard this story about a Seattle
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: nonprofit that is called We Heart See they're now facing
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: a Washington State investigation. Or well, let me back up
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: and say this, only on the left coast would they
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: be this insane. As liberal as things are and people
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: are in New York, we have a Democratic Socialist as
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: mayor in New York City. Things are nuts here, but
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: you still have enough sane people here to kind of
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: right the ship when it starts to flip. On the
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: West coast, they have just lost their freaking minds. They're insane.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: So just follow this. You know, Seattle, they just elected
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: a woman who looks like she's certifiably insane. She just
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: looks like she's out to lunch. Who is the mayor?
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: A woman who was in her thirties, never worked a
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: wheel job her entire life, literally survived I think your
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: parents are from New Jersey, if I'm correct. I think
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: she survived by mommy and daddy sending her a check
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: each month. So she could rent an apartment in downtown
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: Seattle because she talks like the earth. Anyway, she became
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: the elected mayor, a Democratic socialist elected mayor of Seattle.
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: Absolute looney bin doesn't have a clue about that which
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: she is doing. She got elected well. A Seattle nonprofit
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: we Heart Seattle as in we Love Seattle, they're facing
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: a Washington state investigation over how the organization's volunteers collect
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: and dispose of used hypodermic needles and fentanyl foil from
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: public spaces. You heard right. Let me explain what that means.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: So the city of Seattle basically encourages drug use, not
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: unlike New York. They actually give drug paraphernalia, needles, matches,
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: instead of going to somebody who's hooked on drugs and saying,
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: let me get you into treatment. No, God forbid, that's judgmental.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: Let's just give them needles and foils and bongs. Let's
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: just provide it for free, because that's somehow better for them. Really,
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: let's incourage they're really bad habits that could end up
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: in overdose. Oh yeah, that's better. So all you have
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: to do is go up and ask. You get all
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: these freebies. So the drug addicts do their drugs, and
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: these are people, you know, when you're hooked on drugs,
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: you don't care about anyone and anything. You will literally
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: sell your soul. You'll sell your mother's soul to get
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: your fix. So the drug addicts do their drugs, leave
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: the discarded needles and paraphernalia all over the ground because
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: in many cases they literally pass out as they inject
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: themselves with heroin or whatever or fentanyl. They just pass
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: out right there, So the needle, the used syringes falls
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: to the ground. And then a day later, when they
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: wake up and they kind of basically in a stupor
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: walk to the corner to get their next fix, they
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: just leave yead. They don't even realize they dropped a
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: syringe because they don't remember what they did yesterday. They
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: don't remember what they did five minutes ago. So all
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: these syringes and the little uh crack vials and whatnot,
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: that's just littering the ground. So you would think if
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: the city of Seattle is providing this crap for them
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: to inject into their veins, you would think the city
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: of Seattle would then go pick up the mess. No, see,
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: the drug addicts are shooting up in school grounds, parks
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: where people bring their kids walk their dogs. Imagine having
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: to walk your dog around discarded syringes. That's what's happening
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: in Seattle right now. It's disgusting, absolutely disgusting. Well, this
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: woman started an organization. Her name is Andrea Suarez, and
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: again the organization is we Heart Seattle. And what she
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: does is she and a bunch of volunteers. They dress
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: up in hazmat suits and they have those long arms
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: with the little clamps at the end so they could
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: pick stuff up off the ground and not use their fingers,
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: And they pick up all the discarded needles and all
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: this junk, this discarded drug junk on the school grounds
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: and public parks, so that kids don't have to encounter it,
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: and people walking their dogs don't have to say see it,
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: and if you're walking your children, you don't have to
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: explain to the kids what it is. And rather than
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: thanking her organization for doing this free of charge, she
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: and her organization they're following all the rules, everything they're
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: supposed to do. All right. Volunteers, I guess donate the
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: money for them to get their hazmat suits and whatnot.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: Instead of saying thank you, the state is investigating her,
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: saying that there was a complaint against her and the
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: group alleging quote, improper handling and collection of drug paraphernalia. Really, so,
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: the city of Seattle is not being discredited forgiving the
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: drug paraphernalia. That's okay. The people who are shooting up
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: in public and discarding the needles, they could do that,
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: that's okay. But the volunteer who comes to clean up
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: this crap so kids don't have to step on it,
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: dogs don't have to get infected by it. That's the
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: group we're gonna go after, folks. This is when the
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: inmates are running the asylum. This is utter insanity, utter insanity.
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: The King County Public Health Department, they should be charged
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: for giving out the syringes, the fentanyl foil, the cookers, tourniquets,
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: narcan cartridges. The federal government. By the way, it is
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: no matter how legal they make drug use locally, and
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: by the way, that includes marijuana use, it is still
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: against the law federally. And by the way, here's another
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: by the way, the Feds can step in and say
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: uh uh uh, you can't do this now. The local
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: governments would say it is not illegal to give out
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: the syringes, the fedinyl foil. What it is illegal to
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: give out the drugs, and we're not doing that. That's
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: what they're gonna say. But I'm sure you could tweak
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: a federal law that says anything that has to do
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: with encouraging drug use, illicit drug use should be illegal,
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: could be illegal. I'm sure there's some obscure law we
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: could find and then send the Feds in. And you
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: know what, let's just make an example of the King
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: County Public Health Department and the New York Health Department
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: too for doing the same thing with their quote unquote
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: while we're doing the responsible thing giving clean syringes. So
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: these people don't get infected with something. Guess what, they
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: won't get infected with something if they're not doing heroin.
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: And you don't help the problem by encouraging the use
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: of heroin. Sorry, I don't mean to be a moralist here,
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: but you don't encourage the end of bad behavior by
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: encouraging bad behavior. It doesn't work that way. And if
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: somebody insists on going through the hoops of getting high
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: in spite of all our ability to help them, well
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: that's on them. This organization, by the way, the iHeart Seattle.
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: They have gathered two and a quarter million pounds of
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: this drug trash since twenty twenty. And again the thanks
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: from the state of Washington is to investigate them and
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: potentially charge them only in America. Seven ten wor the
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: Voice of New York Ken Risotto went for Mark love
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: to hear what you have to say about that? Eight
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten. Eight hundred three
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten. Did you hear about what
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: happened in Albany yesterday? FBI now saying thirty five year
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: old Jessica Bowie of Albany. This is the FBI saying
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: that she plotted to bomb the state capitol, transforming from
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: a little girl waving the American flag apparently to pledging
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: allegiance to ISIS and celebrating the nine to one one.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: I'm sorry the nine to eleven. I always confused that
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: it's the nine eleven terror attacks. And Bowie allegedly began
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: strategizing an attack on the state capitol in July, and
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: the FBI says she planned to place the bomb in
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: a door dash food delivery bag. So here is the
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: FBI's Field Office Special Agent Craig Tremoroli talking about.
- 1:20:02Speaker 14: This, Make no mistake about it. Miss Bowie's alleged plot
- 1:20:06Speaker 14: was serious.
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: Yeah, and serious it was. In fact, he talks a
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: little bit more about her pledging her allegiance to ISIS.
- 1:20:13Speaker 14: Miss Bowie swore her allegiance to ISIS through multiple audio recordings.
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: Yeah, so they have a lot on her. They say
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: they wouldn't have made this public statement if they didn't.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: The FBI is saying that allegedly Bowie told an FBI
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: informant that it would be quote beautiful to blow the
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: brains out of a nun Muslim. But waite I thought
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: Islam was the religion of peace. So who are the
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: people who got to her and said otherwise. I don't
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: understand it the religion of peace. Somebody tell me otherwise.
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: The FEDS say that she purchased bomb making materials from
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: a home depot on August fifth, and that she planned
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: the attack for earlier this week.
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: Bowie converted to Islam five years ago and was going
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: by the Islamic name Aisha Saif, and just last month,
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: another radicalized upstate New Yorker, thirty seven year old Katherine
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: Beth Washburn was charged with allegedly supporting an Islamis terrorist
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: organization after donating thirty thousand dollars in cryptocurrency to the
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: Palestinian Islamic Jihad group in Gaza. So here's a question,
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: what the hell is going on with liberal white women?
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: They hate America. A pol just shows twenty six percent
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: of liberal white women hate men. It's not that they
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: dislike them. They despise men. They hate traditionalism, they hate morality,
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: they hate society. What is going on? Who has gotten
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: to them? Is this social media? Is this the result
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: of decades of socialist brainwashing feminism run amuck. First they
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: you know, they taught them, oh, you could have it all.
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: I have a career, put off having children until you're ninety,
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: which of course isn't true because you have a lot
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: of women who get upset when they find out, oh
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: I can't have kids now it's too late, you don't
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: have to get married. The result is our population growth
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: was severely curtailed, and you have a lot of very
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: angry and very upset women. So I think as a
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: society we really have to step back and think about
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: what we've done. Because the most hardcore leftists we're finding
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: are white liberal women. You got to scratch your head
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: and say, what's causing this? And I think we need
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: to have an open and frank discussion about it and
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: maybe we can get to the bottom of it. But
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: certainly they are the of all groups of people, of

- 1:23:19Speaker 1: Ken FROMAR today here's Ken Rosotto.
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: And it's so nice to be with you on this Friday.
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: It's going to be a decent day today. And I
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: know who's gonna make it more decent, our friend, Vincent
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: and Brooklyn, Good morning.
- 1:23:31Speaker 10: Vincent, Good morning Ken. Ken. About sixty years ago, I
- 1:23:36Speaker 10: attended an all boys vocational high school, and I had
- 1:23:39Speaker 10: a great home economics teacher. And when he wasn't talking
- 1:23:43Speaker 10: about how to balance your checkbook and how to how
- 1:23:48Speaker 10: to survive on your salary, he talked about world events
- 1:23:52Speaker 10: and he taught. He spoke about his eye. And this
- 1:23:55Speaker 10: man was an Oskenazi Jew. And he said, unlike Christiaanity, Judaism, Taoism,
- 1:24:03Speaker 10: and Buddhism, he says, the difference between those religions and Islam.
- 1:24:08Speaker 10: He says, Islam it's either you convert or I'll cut
- 1:24:12Speaker 10: your throat. Whereas Judaism you want to be a Jew. Fine. Christianity,
- 1:24:18Speaker 10: you want to be a Christian. Fine. Even the missionaries,
- 1:24:21Speaker 10: the Christian missionaries when they went around the world, mainly
- 1:24:25Speaker 10: they went to these countries where people were really sick.
- 1:24:28Speaker 10: They whether in China and elsewhere in Africa. They were
- 1:24:34Speaker 10: there to bring fresh water, food. Yeah, they set up
- 1:24:38Speaker 10: schools and everything. But if you didn't want to go,
- 1:24:40Speaker 10: you didn't want to go. Ken In Italy, especially in Milan,
- 1:24:46Speaker 10: in the big cities, they have big crime problems because
- 1:24:50Speaker 10: the first and set there's mainly the second generation of
- 1:24:55Speaker 10: the Arab peoples that came to work in Italy, got
- 1:25:01Speaker 10: their citizenship, learned to speak the language, were well placed
- 1:25:05Speaker 10: in society. Their children, like a lot of our children here,
- 1:25:09Speaker 10: they don't want any part of it. They want to
- 1:25:11Speaker 10: be drug dealers. They want to be criminals. They go
- 1:25:14Speaker 10: into these high end shopping stores like they do out
- 1:25:18Speaker 10: in the West Coast, and here fifty kids and they
- 1:25:21Speaker 10: just clean it out. They just take over. And recently
- 1:25:25Speaker 10: I saw a video where a policeman was trying to
- 1:25:27Speaker 10: stop them. They beat the living daylights out of the cops.
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: And if I could just step in for one second,
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: let's just be clear. They're and I got I know
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: it sounds like, oh really, there are plenty of good ones. Yes,
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: they're a plenty of beautiful levels.
- 1:25:42Speaker 10: You and I both from that.
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: No, but you're right, you're giving real life examples of
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: things that happen. Are they think about this many, not all,
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: but many of the people who commuted, who traveled to Italy, Spain, Portugal,
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: parts of France, right Paris. They were gangsters and drug
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: dealers looking to make a buck. So they looked as
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: they are opportunists, they went there. They just happened to
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: be from Islamic countries, so it's not that they were
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: going there. But yeah, they come, they come with their
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: their mentality boom. There is an investigation going on right
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: now here in Manhattan where there is a place where
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: all the pushcart people bring their pushcarts and it is
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: sort of a secret, behind the scenes mosque, and so
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: you go in, you drop off your cart and there
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: is literally a mosque running on the inside. But there's
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: a lot of conversation going on. And the question is
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: some of the individuals there are there for nefarious reasons.
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: That's the investigation. Nothing's been proven yet, it's under investigation,
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: but I think we're going to find out a lot
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: more about this in the weeks and months to come.
- 1:26:50Speaker 10: Yeah, in Colabria, the Colabria mafia what they what they
- 1:26:55Speaker 10: they did? They now employ the black my grins from Africa.
- 1:27:01Speaker 10: They had the main cocaine traffickers, the Colombian send it
- 1:27:05Speaker 10: to the mob in Colabria, and then they distributed. The
- 1:27:11Speaker 10: black Africans are the dealers, are the street dealers, the
- 1:27:15Speaker 10: head honchos that are Colabrian the mafia, but the street
- 1:27:19Speaker 10: dealers are the African. Well, the black Africans aken, And
- 1:27:25Speaker 10: it's the same thing in Milan. I was coming home
- 1:27:29Speaker 10: from a pastry shop with my friend Alfred, from a
- 1:27:33Speaker 10: Sicilian pastry shop, and this zombie, this junkie comes up
- 1:27:37Speaker 10: to our car and he didn't know who he was
- 1:27:40Speaker 10: fooling with. My buddy Alfredo doesn't take anything from anybody.
- 1:27:44Speaker 10: He grabbed this guy by the neck under no certain terms,
- 1:27:48Speaker 10: made him realize that if he went forward, well.
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: Let's just say, let's just say here, Vincent, before we
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: indict anybody, let's just say that he had a little
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: conversation with this individual.
- 1:27:59Speaker 7: Exactly.
- 1:28:00Speaker 10: I made that guy have a conversation with whoever he
- 1:28:03Speaker 10: calls his god.
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: Accidentally, Accidentally, this individual, let's just say, his individual teeth
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: ended up in the on the floor as.
- 1:28:12Speaker 10: You got on the gun.
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: Ken, It's just amazing how his face kept hitting your
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: friend's hand and it just wouldn't stop.
- 1:28:18Speaker 10: Exactly, Ken, Exactly, Man, Well, you have a great week
- 1:28:23Speaker 10: A great speaking to your zoys, and hey man, what
- 1:28:27Speaker 10: a rough summer this has been, between these heat waves,
- 1:28:30Speaker 10: these downpours. Late last night, I was running up and
- 1:28:33Speaker 10: down between my cella and Paula Floyd trying to make
- 1:28:37Speaker 10: sure that my house wasn't going to float away.
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: It was crazy, it was It's amazing how much water
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: fell at once, Vincent, I'm with you.
- 1:28:44Speaker 15: My friend Milan actually in the middle of the night
- 1:28:49Speaker 15: set me a picture of that water spot that hit
- 1:28:53Speaker 15: the south shore of Long Island.
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: I love it how somebody in Milan is letting us
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: know about something happening two miles away from him.
- 1:29:00Speaker 10: Because I was so busy worried about my own property.
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: Oh jeez, it's crazy. It's crazy, Vinza, I was saying,
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: I watched this guy on YouTube. He's a meteorologist in
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: the South, and I'll just say the word. Y'all people
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: who are into who are weather geeks will know who
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: I'm talking about. I don't want to promote the show
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: there was. He already has like a million followers, but
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: he he is this brilliant meteorologist and he has this
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: network of cameras and radars from all over the country.
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: He was all over the Northeast with these storms yesterday,
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: like white on Rice. Everybody who's like all these meteorologists
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: were calling into him, showing and helping him, and it
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: was crazy to watch. But as that water spout was forming,
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: he had it live. It was crazy to watch it.
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: But thank god I.
- 1:29:46Speaker 10: Saw it live. What it was hitting Atlantic Beach this morning.
- 1:29:50Speaker 10: I saw a feet of it that was somebody captured.
- 1:29:54Speaker 10: And hey, thank.
- 1:29:56Speaker 9: God only one.
- 1:30:00Speaker 10: You could always replace property and and things. Thank God
- 1:30:03Speaker 10: there is no loss of life. That's all.
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: Like, Vincent, my friend, you have a wonderful weekend. Enjoy it.
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: I know summer's coming to an end, so you enjoy yourself.
- 1:30:13Speaker 10: All right, you too can thank you, great weekend. Wait,
- 1:30:16Speaker 10: speak to you as always, ken like you can't buddy out.
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: Thank you Bill in New Jersey, thank you for being
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: so patient. Good morning to you.
- 1:30:25Speaker 7: Wow, that was a long one.
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: Listen. The rule of thumb is you don't cut off Vincent.
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: Just think of the guy in Mala.
- 1:30:33Speaker 7: Okay, I guess, I guess.
- 1:30:36Speaker 16: Well, I'm going to bring up a subject that has
- 1:30:39Speaker 16: been talked about for thousands of years, and it'll be
- 1:30:41Speaker 16: talking about for thousands more.
- 1:30:44Speaker 7: But it's religion.
- 1:30:46Speaker 16: It's God, who is God in everybody's mind. You mentioned
- 1:30:50Speaker 16: all the different religions before, and I'll speak briefly about
- 1:30:56Speaker 16: Christianity and Jesus. Was Jesus is born? And did he
- 1:31:02Speaker 16: die as a Jew? Many will say yes, did he
- 1:31:06Speaker 16: live the Jewish way of life? Well, the Jews back
- 1:31:10Speaker 16: in the day didn't seem to believe so, because they
- 1:31:13Speaker 16: called him a blasphemer and they had him crucified. So,
- 1:31:18Speaker 16: you know, I talked too many Jews that are my friends,
- 1:31:22Speaker 16: and they say, you know, being a Jew is the
- 1:31:25Speaker 16: way of life, and if you don't live the Jewish
- 1:31:27Speaker 16: way of life, then you're not a Jew. And these
- 1:31:30Speaker 16: guys are my age in the seventies. They have sons
- 1:31:33Speaker 16: who are Orthodox jew and they call their fathers half
- 1:31:36Speaker 16: pass Jews because they don't go to the temple or
- 1:31:39Speaker 16: synagogue and they don't practice the faith. They just want
- 1:31:42Speaker 16: to run their businesses. So Christianity, it begins with Christ Christmas,
- 1:31:48Speaker 16: it begins with Christ.
- 1:31:50Speaker 10: Was Jesus a Jew?
- 1:31:53Speaker 7: Evidently not because they killed him? Because he spoke again
- 1:31:58Speaker 7: of life started Christianity. So the Catholics follow that closer
- 1:32:04Speaker 7: than any other religion than.
- 1:32:06Speaker 2: The Orthodox and the Orthodox. We got to say, we
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: have to always throw that out. I was a Catholic priest,
- 1:32:10Speaker 2: so we always say the Catholic and the Orthodox together
- 1:32:12Speaker 2: really followed. In fact, the Orthodox would say their tradition
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: is actually more closely related. And I don't. I'm only
- 1:32:17Speaker 2: cutting us off because because we have news coming up here.
- 1:32:20Speaker 2: But Bill, you're you're not wrong. A lot of that.
- 1:32:23Speaker 2: We could have the discussion about whether he was a Jew.
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: I think most people would say most that he was
- 1:32:29Speaker 2: a Jew because he never remember he never abolished Judaism
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: per se. I know people are going to debate me
- 1:32:36Speaker 2: on that he is the He was meant to bring
- 1:32:39Speaker 2: the faith and the resurrection and blah blah blh et cetera,
- 1:32:41Speaker 2: et cetera. I don't want to get into a religious discussion.
- 1:32:43Speaker 2: We could do that off the ear. But Jesus was
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: supposed to be the let's say, say, the reader's digest
- 1:32:49Speaker 2: version and to bring everybody back to the faith. But
- 1:32:52Speaker 2: again that's a discussion for another day. But thank you
- 1:32:55Speaker 2: very much, Bill, I appreciate it. But yes, religion, while
- 1:32:58Speaker 2: people love to criticize and say, you see the world religions,
- 1:33:01Speaker 2: they're the cause of all the wars. No, no, no no,
- 1:33:04Speaker 2: it's people are the cause of the war. It's not
- 1:33:05Speaker 2: the religion. So please let's let's not go there. Seven
- 1:33:08Speaker 2: ten wore The Voice of New York No.
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: Mark Simon Show, Live from the wr like Back Studios.
- 1:33:16Speaker 2: Guest hosting from Mark Today.
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: Here's Ken Rosato.
- 1:33:20Speaker 2: And so good to be with you on a Friday.
- 1:33:23Speaker 2: Seven ten woor The Voice of New York. You know
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: school districts that are keeping secrets from parents when children
- 1:33:30Speaker 2: socially transition in school, they're now in for rude awakening.
- 1:33:33Speaker 2: There is now a lawsuit against the New Jersey school
- 1:33:36Speaker 2: district regarding student gender identity. Attorney Ronald Burrudi filed suit
- 1:33:42Speaker 2: against the district that was allegedly socially transitioning a child
- 1:33:45Speaker 2: without telling the parents and without their consent. The school
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: says under New Jersey State Policy fifty seven fifty six,
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: they have no obligation to notify the parents and the
- 1:33:55Speaker 2: doing so would violate students privacy and safety. But saying
- 1:33:58Speaker 2: people say this is a violation of parental rights. Attorney
- 1:34:03Speaker 2: Ronald Berrudi, Good morning, and welcome to the Mark Simone Show.
- 1:34:06Speaker 3: Yeah, good morning, Kent. Thanks for having me.
- 1:34:08Speaker 2: You bet so, talk about the main argument in your complaint.
- 1:34:13Speaker 12: Yeah, So, in the complaint that we have in state court,
- 1:34:21Speaker 12: the child a minor child of a married couple. He's
- 1:34:27Speaker 12: in school and decides that she wanted to start being
- 1:34:31Speaker 12: called by a boy's name and wanted to change your pronouns.
- 1:34:35Speaker 12: So the school district then began honoring her wishes and
- 1:34:42Speaker 12: created a whole separate set of records of using a
- 1:34:46Speaker 12: petitive boy's name instead of her given name, and then
- 1:34:49Speaker 12: kept its secrets from the parents, who eventually found out
- 1:34:53Speaker 12: not from the school. And so the argument is that
- 1:34:57Speaker 12: the parents have an absolute constitutional right under the fourteenth
- 1:35:01Speaker 12: Amendment to their parental rights are being violated, and also
- 1:35:07Speaker 12: they have religious objections to this practice. And because they
- 1:35:11Speaker 12: did not have an opportunity to opt out of what
- 1:35:14Speaker 12: is the school wide school district wide policy promoted by
- 1:35:18Speaker 12: the state. No less, so they didn't have an opportunity
- 1:35:22Speaker 12: to opt out, their first Amendment free exercise rights are
- 1:35:26Speaker 12: also being violated.
- 1:35:28Speaker 2: Now, describe what this is when we're talking about policy
- 1:35:32Speaker 2: fifty seven fifty six in New Jersey, and is that constitutional?
- 1:35:37Speaker 3: No? Our argument is that it is not.
- 1:35:39Speaker 12: The court in our New Jersey case has granted a
- 1:35:44Speaker 12: temporary restraining order preventing the state and the school district
- 1:35:48Speaker 12: in question to preventing them from continuing on with these policies,
- 1:35:55Speaker 12: depending a hearing on the merits, which will be held
- 1:35:57Speaker 12: on September third in the on This County courthouse.
- 1:36:01Speaker 2: I mean, this is along the same lines as we've
- 1:36:04Speaker 2: heard of school districts around the country who take a
- 1:36:07Speaker 2: child who wants to have an abortion across state lines.
- 1:36:10Speaker 2: And this is this is an absolute violation of parental
- 1:36:14Speaker 2: school trust. You pay school taxes, You put your child
- 1:36:18Speaker 2: on a school bus, and you assume that the child
- 1:36:21Speaker 2: will be protected through the day and come back the
- 1:36:24Speaker 2: child that you left at the school bus in the morning,
- 1:36:26Speaker 2: and that isn't the case.
- 1:36:28Speaker 12: Yeah, it's very difficult to deal with this for these parents.
- 1:36:34Speaker 12: I have three of these cases right now, and I
- 1:36:36Speaker 12: know of others that are percolating.
- 1:36:38Speaker 3: The parents are really.
- 1:36:42Speaker 12: They don't they can't believe that this is happening to
- 1:36:44Speaker 12: their child typically and that they've been not been able
- 1:36:48Speaker 12: to get help. I have another case where a parent
- 1:36:50Speaker 12: was helping a child, you know, and I had no
- 1:36:53Speaker 12: problem with the child deciding to transition once she was
- 1:36:58Speaker 12: eighteen years old, but while the child was eighteen years old,
- 1:37:03Speaker 12: under eighteen and under his roof. He wanted to be
- 1:37:06Speaker 12: able to work through things with the child because truth is,
- 1:37:11Speaker 12: brains aren't fully formed until the mid twenties, and children
- 1:37:15Speaker 12: need their parents guidance. Fit parents, that is, you know,
- 1:37:18Speaker 12: we're not talking about abusive parents. We're talking fit parents.
- 1:37:21Speaker 2: Right, And that's one of the arguments I guess that
- 1:37:23Speaker 2: the districts were making was that, you know, in these cases,
- 1:37:28Speaker 2: these kids could be subjected to abuse at home if
- 1:37:32Speaker 2: the parents knew that this was happening at school. But
- 1:37:35Speaker 2: if that were the case, there are other laws that
- 1:37:37Speaker 2: are being violated if the parents are being abusive, right,
- 1:37:40Speaker 2: And that's a separate and above and beyond this.
- 1:37:43Speaker 12: Oh, absolutely, and no parents should be abusive and no
- 1:37:47Speaker 12: parental abuse should be tolerated, and it's not by law.
- 1:37:52Speaker 12: But we're talking fit parents. And look, the story I
- 1:37:56Speaker 12: hear from parents who have gone through this is not
- 1:37:59Speaker 12: that they're.
- 1:38:00Speaker 3: Angry at their child.
- 1:38:01Speaker 12: It's that they are so sorrowful that they were not
- 1:38:06Speaker 12: able to talk to their child and speak to the
- 1:38:09Speaker 12: child and try to work through it with their child
- 1:38:11Speaker 12: and try to understand what was going on with the child.
- 1:38:14Speaker 12: It's a loss of family. It's a complete really, it's
- 1:38:17Speaker 12: a destruction of the family. It's not a matter of
- 1:38:20Speaker 12: being angry with the child. The children have all sorts
- 1:38:22Speaker 12: of issues, and parents are supposed to play the primary
- 1:38:28Speaker 12: role in raising children, be it for educational or for
- 1:38:32Speaker 12: medical issues.
- 1:38:33Speaker 2: Yeah, but again, the idea that the parent sort of
- 1:38:37Speaker 2: has a feeling of having one pulled over on them.
- 1:38:40Speaker 2: That the only one who the secret is kept from
- 1:38:43Speaker 2: is the parent, and yet the parent is the one
- 1:38:45Speaker 2: forced to pay the school taxes, the parent is the
- 1:38:48Speaker 2: one forced to care for the child, and yet the
- 1:38:50Speaker 2: parent is the one that the secret is kept from,
- 1:38:53Speaker 2: is just infuriating.
- 1:38:55Speaker 12: Well, that's actually an interesting point because one of the
- 1:38:57Speaker 12: issues is, look, the school administrators, none of whom is
- 1:39:03Speaker 12: none of these people are educated in any kind of
- 1:39:07Speaker 12: psychotherapy or anything like that. There's school administrators, people with
- 1:39:10Speaker 12: teaching degrees, administrative degrees, they're not professionals, and they're doing
- 1:39:14Speaker 12: this transitioning and at some point the child leaves the
- 1:39:18Speaker 12: school and those people are out of their lives. The parents, though,
- 1:39:22Speaker 12: are still going to be responsible for paying for all
- 1:39:26Speaker 12: the psychiatric treatments, the medical treatments, anything that comes up.
- 1:39:33Speaker 3: The parents are forever going to be on the hook
- 1:39:35Speaker 3: for these things.
- 1:39:35Speaker 12: And there are plenty cases where.
- 1:39:40Speaker 3: Where there are children.
- 1:39:42Speaker 12: Who have transitioned and as adults they want to they
- 1:39:46Speaker 12: wish they hadn't done that, They wish they could transition
- 1:39:48Speaker 12: back that because they made a decision too early in
- 1:39:51Speaker 12: their lives. There are many people who transitioned and they're happy,
- 1:39:56Speaker 12: and God bless them. To me, that's not something that
- 1:40:00Speaker 12: I'm against. If they're emotionally able to do that and
- 1:40:05Speaker 12: want to do that, that's their business. But for a child,
- 1:40:08Speaker 12: the child is the business of the parent, and the
- 1:40:11Speaker 12: parents have absolute constitutional rights, and it's the parent ultimately
- 1:40:16Speaker 12: who has.
- 1:40:17Speaker 3: To bear the burden.
- 1:40:19Speaker 12: Of how the child turns out in terms of happiness
- 1:40:25Speaker 12: and psychological impact and frankly physical impact as well.
- 1:40:28Speaker 2: Yeah, we're talking with attorney Ron Burruti, who is in
- 1:40:32Speaker 2: the middle of several lawsuits. Actually, one we're talking about
- 1:40:35Speaker 2: right now is involving a New Jersey school district where
- 1:40:38Speaker 2: children are allowed to be in the school district transitioning
- 1:40:42Speaker 2: socially and the parents are not told of this. So
- 1:40:45Speaker 2: this is what the lawsuit is about and you have
- 1:40:48Speaker 2: two other lawsuits. Talk about the federal lawsuits if you can.
- 1:40:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:40:53Speaker 12: So I have one case that was pending for a
- 1:40:56Speaker 12: few years now, which is a similar.
- 1:40:59Speaker 3: Tale of of a daughter of.
- 1:41:02Speaker 12: A father, a single father, whose wife had died when
- 1:41:07Speaker 12: the child was four years old, and she had suffered
- 1:41:10Speaker 12: obviously through lots of trauma.
- 1:41:12Speaker 3: Also, you know, someone on the.
- 1:41:16Speaker 12: Spectrum for autism, which is the school district's really really
- 1:41:21Speaker 12: go after those kids because a lot of them feel
- 1:41:23Speaker 12: out of place already because of their autism. But this
- 1:41:28Speaker 12: girl was actually had spoken to her father about this,
- 1:41:32Speaker 12: and she was undergoing various therapy and you know, nothing
- 1:41:39Speaker 12: to try to dissuadeter, but to try to help her,
- 1:41:41Speaker 12: to make sure that she was, you know, feeling the
- 1:41:44Speaker 12: right way and that she was not just being impulsive.
- 1:41:47Speaker 12: And that was the situation again where the father was
- 1:41:50Speaker 12: said at eighteen, if you want to do this on
- 1:41:51Speaker 12: your own, that's your business.
- 1:41:53Speaker 3: But you're under my roof right now, and I want
- 1:41:55Speaker 3: to help you.
- 1:41:56Speaker 12: But still she told the school she joined the club
- 1:41:59Speaker 12: and told the school that she'd liked to be called
- 1:42:01Speaker 12: by a boy's name. And it was months after the
- 1:42:04Speaker 12: fact that the father learned and he was just really
- 1:42:09Speaker 12: taken aback that this was happening behind his back, that
- 1:42:12Speaker 12: school officials would call him used his daughter's name as
- 1:42:17Speaker 12: a female, but at all other times would refer to
- 1:42:20Speaker 12: the daughter as by a boy's name. And the child
- 1:42:25Speaker 12: was leading a double life and was really struggling psychologist
- 1:42:30Speaker 12: psychologically because of it. And we sued for him on
- 1:42:36Speaker 12: grounds of parental rights, alleging that this was unconstitutional.
- 1:42:40Speaker 2: Ron do you see this going to the Supreme Court?
- 1:42:43Speaker 12: Well, the interesting part is that the United States Supreme
- 1:42:45Speaker 12: Court has already ruled on this issue, at least temporarily
- 1:42:50Speaker 12: in California that had the same types of policies. Supreme
- 1:42:54Speaker 12: Court recently ruled that there's a likelihood of success on
- 1:42:56Speaker 12: the merits that California an injunction would be issued against
- 1:43:00Speaker 12: California from engaging in these practices. But New Jersey, among
- 1:43:05Speaker 12: other states, still does this and still has these policies.
- 1:43:09Speaker 12: And we're now relying upon that case in the Supreme
- 1:43:13Speaker 12: Court that came out of California in support of our
- 1:43:16Speaker 12: case here, and with that ruling, we feel that we
- 1:43:20Speaker 12: have a tremendous chance of success on any and all
- 1:43:23Speaker 12: of these cases that we're taking with regard to parents' rights.
- 1:43:27Speaker 2: All right, Ron Baruti attorney, please keep us abreast of things,
- 1:43:30Speaker 2: let us know what happens with these cases. And thanks
- 1:43:33Speaker 2: for being on the Mark Simone Show.
- 1:43:35Speaker 3: Thanks so much for having Meket.
- 1:43:36Speaker 2: Rozettowin from Mark on your Friday. When we come back,
- 1:43:38Speaker 2: we'll take more of your calls and numbers. Eight hundred
- 1:43:41Speaker 2: three two one zero seven ten eight hundred three two
- 1:43:44Speaker 2: one zero seven ten calling now for wr.
- 1:43:47Speaker 1: Now more of the Mark Simone Show on seven to
- 1:43:50Speaker 1: ten wor filling in for Mark. Here again is Ken Rosatto.
- 1:43:55Speaker 2: Hey, good to be with you on a Friday. Straight
- 1:43:57Speaker 2: to our busy phones. We go to Roger in a store.
- 1:44:00Speaker 2: Thanks for being sir, patient Roger, Good morning, my friend.
- 1:44:08Speaker 17: So my take is that this should go to the
- 1:44:11Speaker 17: Supreme Court just as fast as possible so that you
- 1:44:14Speaker 17: don't have to go through fifty states worth of you know,
- 1:44:18Speaker 17: somebody deciding this or deciding that. And my opinion is
- 1:44:23Speaker 17: that inherent in almost anybody's, in almost any culture's definition
- 1:44:30Speaker 17: of what a parent is. You know, they have the
- 1:44:33Speaker 17: welfare of the child. They cannot be cut out of something,
- 1:44:37Speaker 17: especially something as important as a child's formative thoughts as
- 1:44:45Speaker 17: to their sexuality.
- 1:44:47Speaker 2: H Roger, I don't mean to cut you off when
- 1:44:49Speaker 2: we have the news here. You're one hundred percent right.
- 1:44:51Speaker 2: I'm with you one hundred percent. I just hope to
- 1:44:53Speaker 2: God that the courts continue to side with parents, because
- 1:44:58Speaker 2: it's kind of horrible when you consider parents. You have
- 1:45:00Speaker 2: to feed, clothes, protect your child, right, we have to
- 1:45:03Speaker 2: pay for the school taxes, and then what the school
- 1:45:06Speaker 2: district gets to do whatever they want with your child,
- 1:45:08Speaker 2: and including things like letting them transition without your permission
- 1:45:11Speaker 2: and keep you out of the loop. Now not acceptable.
- 1:45:14Speaker 2: Marks can be back in the seat on Monday. Thank
- 1:45:16Speaker 2: you to Mark and to war for letting me sit in.
- 1:45:18Speaker 2: I'm Ken Rosado, Buck and Clay are coming up next
- 1:45:21Speaker 2: three o'clock Sean Hannity, six o'clock it is Jesse Kelly,
- 1:45:25Speaker 2: Jimmy Falay in at nine. Don't forget again bucking Clay
- 1:45:28Speaker 2: after the news. Have a great day and a great weekend.
- 1:45:30Speaker 2: From seven to ten, Wr
