- Sue: Postscript to a previous post I made about the revelation at my age of sixty five and that I might be living when I was twenty five at age sixty five. About acceptance of reality. It's about the clarity that comes when you or me in my personal life forgive myself. I mean I don't blame myself for the way that my life has turned out. I'm accountable for how things turned out. Absolutely. No one but me put me in this place and it's not a bad place to be. It's just a completely different scenario than I imagined I would be at age sixty five. And while I understand now that the lives that my parents had were isn't mine and it's unfair to make the repetition of their lives and my life, I still think that we all as human beings have a need to compare ourselves with each other, you know, keeping up with the Joneses. That's unfair to everybody. And once you recognize that you control you and you're the one that has to be accountable for everything that you do, you begin to understand how difficult that is because there will be times when you will not be in control and your awareness of that, hopefully as it's happening, so that then you can non react appropriately to get yourself back into control, was a situation that it's difficult to Anticipate when it happens. Nonetheless, you have to be aware enough to not let it escalate into something much worse for yourself or others that may be involved. And it comes back to aligning your mind, body, and spirit. And your mind is the real world. That's the the bit that helps you earn a living that that ⁓ gets you through your day to day. And that can be the most difficult reality to shift. I can imagine myself in situations that will take me years to manifest the the life in the real world. And nonetheless, you have to have patience and grace with yourself to endure the time as it passes to ensure that that reality comes into place. And to accept the fact that sometimes you have to cut your losses and reframe your reality. Have a new vision. And what I think has helped me is been coming from the point of at the bottom looking up, as opposed to looking down from the top. The realization that you're not looking for handouts, but you do have to make your way with nothing. And sometimes you have to start with a handout or two from others around you to get you on the path of what you're gonna manifest. There's a YouTuber years ago he did a video where he put himself someplace where He had nothing, and offered to draw caricatures of people that he encountered if they would pay him a penny, for example. And then the next step after that was to earn enough money to buy some bottles of water that then he could sell on at a higher profit and put more money in his pocket and go farther in his journey, and that's kind of where we're talking about. That sometimes those little seeds of Generosity from others. Help you build the foundation you need to manifest your life or your envisioned life. And all the while, you have to stay positive, you have to stay aware so that you don't miss opportunities. And you have to give yourself a lot of patience. And be graceful about things when they don't immediately turn out in the way that you think they're supposed to. And accept the fact that the way that things turn out is the way that the is planned to turn out. And that may not align with what you're thinking at all. And to accept that. So therefore when your attitude is looking from the bottom up, everything can becomes a gift. And expressing your gratitude for that will help build the foundation spiritually. If you're looking from the top down, you tend to look at it with a vibe of a loss. Subtle difference, but it makes for me a lot easier to look at from the bottom upward. There's less stress and anxiety because all the while you're appreciating things for what they are in your life. You know, in the case of this guy's videos, you know, it was under a penny more than he had when he started out, and also innately has the understanding that that kind of energy can be built on. I think it's something we can all relate to. You get a little positive feedback for something that you initiated and then it chives you on to doing it again and have a better result. And again and again. And while you're building up your string of successes on your way to manifesting your best life, whatever that might be, You surround yourself, or at least you find yourself in and amongst people that support you. And by support I mean people that don't get up in your business and ask how things are going. People that observe you and independently of you asking them, extend a hand. And when I was destitute, I knew immediately work wise who my supporters were. Certainly wasn't my former employer, and I don't mean that in a negative way, it's just that's the reality. But those that I worked with peripherally stepped up. They didn't have to do that. And that made the difference. And it has a knock on effect, 'cause in this case I'll say that ⁓ then had a PBS copyright, I was a public media music supervisor at the time, through clients my way that needed their music cue sheets prepared for programming that was being broadcast. That sustained me in ways that I couldn't have planned for or envisioned. So you get these people that will, unbeknownst to you, offer support because they're in a position to do so. I had another colleague whom I worked with at NET. This one in particular sent me Clarence work for his gig working at the Emmys, the New York Emmys. I will always be grateful to all of the people that supported me. So if you have that perspective of looking up and building, you understand that it can also be taken away in a heartbeat. Nonetheless, it's proof that you are not alone. And with you listening to my voice, that's a confirmation. You are indeed not alone. And if that gives you any comfort, I'm grateful. Certainly does me. Except yourself for who you are. Because you're in control of yourself. Look at all the people in your life that married, for example. Each of them never having lived independently of them, their spouse. There's a problem with that. When you can't stand side to side by another independent person as you are. That's a codependent relationship, and that's not really a relationship. That's energy harvesting. So you may not have much, but what you have is yours, mind, body, and spirit. Don't let anybody take that from you. Precious resources. Your three realms. You need that. You need all those three realms aligned for you to be whole. And when you're whole, you don't need others to live. The fact that they give you support, it's a bonus. What I'd been through is probably not the worst situation that everybody else might have gone through. Nonetheless, it was mine. And I think the mindset changes I made are helpful for others to consider. If you find yourself looking down at nothing, look up instead. Build from there. I support you. And if nobody tells you. Today, except me, you are love. I'm right here, spiritually, shoulder to shoulder with you. So thanks for listening. You can do it. Thank you.
