- 1:14Well done, Part five, and coming up later, the return of
- 1:18Carter Brown from Hollywood. It's time now for Johnny Dollar. Good morning,
- 1:26Johnny. This is Carol. Oh Hi, Carol, sleep well, Johnny.
- 1:30You were so quiet on the way back from the seance last night.
- 1:34I hope it's because Madame morgana Morgana convinced you of her powers as a medium.
- 1:38How much did you pay her for that seance? Carol? One hundred
- 1:41dollars one hundred. Why I'm meet me in the coffee shop downstairs for breakfast.
- 1:45I'd love to fifteen minutes, fifteen minutes go bye. And weren't you
- 1:48thrilled to hear the voice of your dead brother again? Yeah? Bye,
- 1:53except that I never had a brother. Tonight and every weekday night, Bob
- 2:05Bailey in the transcribed Adventures of the Man with the Action Packed expens Account,
- 2:08America's fabulous freelance insurance investigator, Yours truly Shahannie dollar expense account submitted by a
- 2:28special investigator, Johnny Doller, location, New York City, to the Universal
- 2:31Adjustment Bureau, Hertford, Connecticut. Following is an accounting of expenses during my
- 2:36investigation of the matter of the medium well done expense account. Item eighteen ten
- 2:45cents phone called a Carol Sharp, Item nineteen ten cents Phone called a Sergeant
- 2:49Randy Singer. Hey, I thought you were coming down here to headquarters as
- 2:52I am o'clock since I've had some breakfast. Your lab get those films developed
- 2:57for me. They're working on them right now. And did you put a
- 2:59tail on David Sharp, Carol's brother. Yeah? I suppose you know he
- 3:01was over there in the neighborhood of that seance over in Jersey last night.
- 3:05I would have bet on it. Didn't you see him there? No,
- 3:07that's just keep that tail on him. See you later. It am twenty
- 3:16ten to seventy long distance call to the city editor of the Mark Chunk,
- 3:20Pennsylvania Herald Express. For a full half hour. I asked him questions about
- 3:23the Sharp family, about one member of the family in particular. Then it
- 3:28am twenty one, five eighty five breakfast for Carol and myself in the coffee
- 3:31shop with the swank bell towers. You must have been impressed, Johnny,
- 3:36he's so quiet. Would you like to see Madame Morgan and morgana again tonight?
- 3:40Johnny? Carol, I think we'll see it today. Oh, but
- 3:44she couldn't. She always says it takes a full daty recover from the shock
- 3:46and strain of a seance. She goes into a deep trance, you know,
- 3:50in order to make the spirits move those little trumpets about and speak through
- 3:53them. Listen, Carol, Yes, you have a brother, David.
- 3:58Oh David, why do you say it that way. He's not really a
- 4:01brother. He was just sort of taken in by mother when his parents died.
- 4:05I'd rather not speak of him Johnny, the black shape of the family.
- 4:09Huh. Mother insisted on taking care of him. He was only twelve
- 4:13or thirteen, I've forgotten. Father didn't want to, but he permitted it.
- 4:16Why didn't he want to? Because David's father had been a criminal and
- 4:20his father before him, even David's mother was, and my father was afraid.
- 4:25Yeah, the blood would tell. Yes, your father left money to
- 4:29him along with the rest of you. Yes, he did, but not
- 4:31as much. And David has resented that. But no matter how much he
- 4:36had, he wouldn't have enough. His sports car is a fast company.
- 4:42Johnny, How did you know this, Carol? I'm an insurance investigator.
- 4:46What I came down here to look into this matter? If you're wanting to
- 4:48change the beneficiaries of your policy to cut off your mother and brothers in favor
- 4:51of this medium and Tony Ricardo, Johnny, I hate you for this?
- 4:56Why didn't you? I didn't dare let you know until I found out a
- 4:58few things, and I think I have, including the fact that Madam morgana
- 5:02morgana who persuaded you to make the change, is nothing but a clever fraud.
- 5:05No, that isn't true. I'll prove it to you if you'll call
- 5:08your boyfriend Tony Ricardo, Tony, take him down to the eighteenth Precinct police
- 5:12station, where I'll be waiting for you. Tony, hasn't you think because
- 5:15his father was a kind of gangs two years in Tony's case, I hope
- 5:17blood won't tell eighteenth Precinct. Both of you. All right, Johnny,
- 5:21we will be there, Johnny. Picture took last night? Oh thanks,
- 5:30Randy. Hmm, Hey, why did you ever get the idea using infrared
- 5:36light and infrared film? Anything else? Anything that let them know I was
- 5:41taking pictures would have busted up the seands. Eh, look at this one.
- 5:46I'd like to publish. Those scare alant of those phony psychics out of
- 5:49business and out of town. Oh here's the one that mister Oh hello,
- 5:54Tony, miss sharp, mister Ricardo, this is a surgeon singer. Now,
- 5:58will you please show us this proof you were talking about? Yes?
- 6:01How did you make out? He made now? Very well, Tony,
- 6:03thanks to a minute youre flash camera I had tucked into my pocket last night.
- 6:08I guess she wondered too, how Madam morgana morgana worked her record?
- 6:11He did not, Tony knows as well as I do. That she's completely
- 6:14honest like any normal person. He may have questioned the almost miraculous powers of
- 6:18this woman in the beginning, but no trumped up tricks that you Where did
- 6:25you get this picture? And look at this one. She's moving that trumpet
- 6:30herself with a long kind of extended handles extension grip they call it. She
- 6:36probably hid it in the front of her dress. But these pictures in that
- 6:42dark room infrared photography. Maybe she did use one trick, but the voices
- 6:47came from trumpets floating about in the air above our head. And look at
- 6:51this one, taken when your father was supposed to be speaking to you.
- 6:56Oh no, that little trumpet has a long too yep, extending into that
- 7:00curtained doorway at the end of the room where somebody could whisper through it.
- 7:04Oh this is terrible. Hundreds of thousands of dollars I gave her believing in
- 7:11it. Yeah, I'm afraid you really took here. Here's where my dead
- 7:15brother Richard spoke to me. Hanging trumpet is over your head. But how
- 7:21could she know? I didn't tell her. Oh yes, you mentioned your
- 7:27brother, a completely non existent brother. Carol made up like the dream of
- 7:31you I told you about and I believed you too, But how could she
- 7:35find out all those things about me? The shop? A couple of nights
- 7:40ago, I took mister Donnar to a medium that was a bum compared to
- 7:42this one. She told him all about himself. Have you forgotten what I
- 7:46found out about you? And your brother's just in the last twenty four hours.
- 7:48Oh, I don't know what to say. Don't try. We've still
- 7:53got to pin this whole thing down. I'm sure this madam Morgan and Morgan
- 7:57I wasn't working along, But who could be about it to? No,
- 8:01not Tony just because his father was Oh no, please, I got a
- 8:05report here, Johnny. He's moved again and you guess right? Yeah,
- 8:09and we better get going. We use a prowl car. No, but
- 8:13we can get an escort as far as the city line. Then, come
- 8:15on, all of you. I can't be with his accelerator on the floor.
- 8:20Had a ball training. Our rescuarrd across town and we had to hold
- 8:24him down when we finally reached the Jersey side. Randy Singer obviously had no
- 8:28authority over there, but as it turned out, I'm glad he came.
- 8:31When we pulled up to the home of MATAMORGANA MORGANA, I couldn't help noticing
- 8:35a STUDI bigger golden hawk sticking out from behind the house with a Pennsylvania license.
- 8:39I wasn't the only one to notice it. Johnny, that looks like
- 8:43David's car. I think it is. Come on, Johnny, I'm out
- 8:48of my jurisdiction. Oh yeah, maybe you better wait. Yeah, yeah,
- 8:52oh, Johnny. I knew David was bad, but oh, I
- 8:54still can't believe it. I know how you feel, Carol, and I'm
- 8:56sorry, mister Wait a minute, Johnny, Johnny, if you do a
- 9:03thing like this, I'm ready for anything, Loves, Why don't just you
- 9:07and I go in? If anything happened to Caroline? Oh Carol, dear
- 9:11and mister Ricardo and mister Dollar. No, Madame Morgan, do you mind
- 9:16if we come in? Why know? But not for aunt of the meeting.
- 9:20Of course, strain of last night's convocation is still with me. I'm
- 9:24afraid. Yeah, maybe you ought to up the price for your next seance,
- 9:30but there ain't gonna be no more, mister Dollar. I don't come
- 9:33on, Carol, Tony, We're gonna look over that seiance from in broad
- 9:35daylight. No you can. I won't let you destroy the sanctity of that
- 9:41room. Oh yes you will. I'll lay it on the line to you,
- 9:45madam, whatever your name really is. This monkey business of yours has
- 9:48gone far enough. So this is the room. What terrible things you're saying.
- 9:52You take a thing like spiritualism that a lot of honest people believe in
- 9:56and make a dirty racket out of them. Carol, this man is mad.
- 10:00Make him leave this sacred place at once. Carol, what right have
- 10:05you to make such horrible implications? Incations? Those were accusations. Would you
- 10:11like to see how those spirits of yours move trumpets around in the dark they
- 10:13couldn't be seen, and how those spirit voices suddenly appear out of thin air?
- 10:18Look at these pictures? How did you get these? I cannot tell
- 10:24a lie. I did it with my little camera. Well, all right,
- 10:28all right, you be exposed me. But there was nothing malicious about
- 10:31it. If you knew the solace, the comfort of mind and spirit,
- 10:37these things abrupt the people who come to me at one hundred bucks a crack,
- 10:39sometimes more. Why not, Carol has money? So of the others
- 10:43who come to me. Did you plan to make them all turn their insurance
- 10:46policies over to you and then contrive to have them suddenly and unexpectedly join their
- 10:50immortal ancestors in the great beyond. No, no, that wasn't my idea.
- 10:54Oh oh, I knew something like this might happen. It has happened,
- 10:58now, worries he. No, No, I don't know what you're
- 11:03talking about. Your assistant, a colleague, and crime would be a better
- 11:05word. Who stood inside the curtain door of the seance room and made with
- 11:09the phony voices of the dead, who gave you all the information on Carol,
- 11:13who's probably done a nice little research job on me since my visit last
- 11:16night. Yes, mister David, I know all about your activity as an
- 11:20insurance investigator and why you're here, but it's not going to do you any
- 11:24good. I'll put that thing down and give yourself up. David. So
- 11:26you're the one who arranged for me to be a beneficiary of Carol's policy and
- 11:30com back so the suspicion would fall on me when something happen to herd of
- 11:31course, and give us a chance to clear out. But now it's too
- 11:35late. And now that you've found us out, well, David, no
- 11:43like somebody turned on dirty poor gun on me. Will you be easy,
- 11:54Johnny can tell you I'm not cute, Brandy. You'll just get up a
- 12:00head the lights. But David, I flipped off the lights totally here,
- 12:05made a dive for him. Here. He is wrapped up in the corner
- 12:07there, and I've got his gun o. You got a mean left there.
- 12:13Oh, I'm sorry, Randy, but see, I thought this was
- 12:16out of your jurisdiction. I get curious about comparing your lousy photography with the
- 12:20room itself, Johnny. So I sneaked in the back door when I saw
- 12:24what was going on, Well, I lost my head. I guess all
- 12:28right, Dave up on ezy Carol better get her out of here, Tony,
- 12:33and remember that crack about blood. Will tell well, I think you
- 12:37can prove to her that in your case, at least whoever said it was
- 12:41all wet, Well, what happens to David sharp and met him? MORGANA?
- 12:48MORGANA, we'll be up to the courts. It's a sense she's out
- 12:52of the ghost racket for a while, a long while. And of course
- 12:56Carol did make a change in her policy to cut off David. Expense account
- 13:01had him twenty something cad back to New York hotel Bill and fairback to Hartford
- 13:03four seventeen thirty five. Expense account total eight ninety two. Oh and if
- 13:09you don't mind, I'll hang on to that tricky little Cameron stuff in case
- 13:13I run into another medium. Well done, Yours truly, Johnny Dollar.
- 13:31Now here's our star to tell you about next week's intriguing story. Next week,
- 13:35the Tears of Night Matter, a fabulous necklace and a fabulous girl.
- 13:41Join us, won't you? Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar. Yours Truly Johnny
- 13:52Dollar, is starring Bob Dailey, is transcribed in Hollywood. It is produced
- 13:56and directed by Jack Johnstone, who also wrote this week's story. Heard in
- 14:00our cast were Virginia Greg, Laurence Stubkin, Loreene Tuttle, Harry Bartel,
- 14:03Eleanor Ordleay, Joseph Karns, her Vigrant, Junius Matthews, Tony Verrett,
- 14:07and Sam Edwards. Musical supervision by A Marigo Marino. Be sure to join
- 14:11us on Monday night at same time and station for another exciting story of Yours
- 14:16Truly, Johnny Dollar. Roy Rowan speaking Welcome Back. The Part five was
- 15:58the bes part of this series, but overall, I don't think I like
- 16:03the pacing of this one, and it kind of illustrates the upside and the
- 16:07downside of longer stories. Longer stories are often great. You can do a
- 16:12lot of character development, you can build a lot of twist and turns into
- 16:18your mystery, and it can lead to better stories. On the other hand,
- 16:23it can lead to taking a story and just patting it, which is
- 16:27what it feels like. This feels like we had enough story to make a
- 16:32very good half hour episode, but stretched over five parts, it just doesn't
- 16:37work particularly well. But Part five was definitely fun. And yeah, he
- 16:41should definitely hold on to that infrared camera because even without mediums, that type
- 16:45of thing would definitely come and hand me for a private detective or as insurance
- 16:49investigator. All right, listener comments and feedback, and then to receive this
- 16:55from Rebecca, Rebecca says, we canceled our serious exam radio, so now
- 17:00we are listening to online shows and your podcast are at the top of our
- 17:06list. Thanks so much, Rebecca. That's not the first statement I've received
- 17:10about satellite radio, and I do wonder how much longer it'll be around.
- 17:15I was actually when I was working on my novel Slim Incorporated. In my
- 17:18initial imagination, I had my main character having satellite radio that he listened to
- 17:26all kinds of music on, and I realized that he also had a smartphone,
- 17:30so he could just tune it into a bunch of radio stations whichever one
- 17:36he wanted. But there may be some appeal that I'm missing here. All
- 17:41right, well enough, thanks so much for the comment, Rebecca. Let's
- 17:44go ahead and we're going to pick up Carter Brown. We have three more
- 17:49serials, so twelve more weeks of Carter Brown, and we're going to start
- 17:53out with this episode Bella Donna was poison. As to the date of this
- 18:00particular serial, I'm not entirely certain. The radio log from AUSTRALIANOTR dot com
- 18:11dot au is able to track the first thirty one weeks of the Carter Brown
- 18:17series, and this could have occurred either either in episode in week thirty two,
- 18:25week thirty four or thirty five, or weeks thirty seven to fifty two,
- 18:30so somewhere between May thirty feet nineteen fifty eight and late October. So
- 18:37let's go ahead and take a listen to Belladonna Was Poison Arthur Brown Mysteries Adventures
- 18:56in Excitement and Suspense, based on the best novels by the slick storytelling sensation
- 19:02Carter Brown. How do you do, ladies and gentlemen. This is Carter
- 19:23Brown with another of my books for you, a story I've caught Belladonna was
- 19:27Poison. You could also call it tempest in television, and I wouldn't like
- 19:32to think this sort of thing normally happened in TV. As for my hero,
- 19:36well, I'm not going to tell you anything about him except his name,
- 19:40rock Stone. You can find out everything else from him. In the
- 19:51glare of the bright lights, the woman backed away from me, a beautiful
- 19:55features contorted in fear and dismay. One elegant hand crept up to a mouth
- 19:59from the tin posture of her body indicated the tumult of her racing thoughts.
- 20:03I stared at her, impassive, implacable, with just the faintest trace of
- 20:07a smile on my lips. Her voice when it came was husky and low.
- 20:12You know, I know, missus West. I knew from the time
- 20:15you failed to identify your husband's body as your husband. I knew you were
- 20:19not missus Adael West at all, but her twin sister Adeline. You impersonated
- 20:23your sister in the hope of stealing the West Diamonds. You murdered your sister
- 20:29so that you could take her place. What you didn't know at a line,
- 20:32was it only three hours before she had murdered her husband to prevent him
- 20:36discovering that she had pawned the West Diamonds to pay her gambling debts. I
- 20:41guess it's hopeless trying to pull you, Inspector Stone. You can fool a
- 20:45homicide squad and don't bother to open your purse and grabbed the gun inside.
- 20:49I took the precaution of emptying it ten minutes ago. Okay, sergeant,
- 20:55take her away. It's like I alway say, folks, there's no future
- 21:02in murder. The twod to next week's show will be seen in the windows
- 21:18of our sponsor, Lacy's departmental store on Thursday morning. Make sure you take
- 21:22a good look. Friends. A clue in itself can be a small thing,
- 21:26but it can lead to the electric chair. So till next week.
- 21:30This is Inspector rock Stone bidding you good night. Tune in next week,
- 21:45same time, same channel for another story starring Rockstone as the inspector who proves
- 21:51that there's no future in murder. Well, absolut all night, wife friends,
- 21:56you can splight now beautifully, I thought, right, Hey, thanks,
- 22:03honey, it was fun being in the show with you. Do you
- 22:06think our producer was happy about it? Our producer, miss Alien Maulden,
- 22:10is the woman, but definitely, and who can tell what a woman thinks?
- 22:12Only another woman? So long, Rock, so long, honey,
- 22:18Well that's another one over. It was a good show, rock Arleen,
- 22:22coming from you, that's really something. Why am I such a tyrant?
- 22:26No? But there are enough distraction for an actor working in TV without a
- 22:30producer who put so much vitality into a like statistics. You want to pass
- 22:34snappy cracks like that under Sam long you might be able to use them the
- 22:37next week's script. And speaking of which, what's the gimmick for Lacy's window
- 22:42to play the next show? It's so Lulu, let's walk over with your
- 22:45dressing room. I'll tell you all about it. Frime, this noise isn't
- 22:48doing my ulcer any good. He read Sam script for the next show,
- 22:52Bella Donna was poisoned. He's called it had a quick look. Well,
- 22:55we've had two dummies made, one of you and one of the girl who's
- 22:56murdered the window dresses. Let them up in the window on Thursday morning.
- 23:00When the blinds are lifted, the public will see you just entering the room
- 23:03where the girl's body slumped in a chair and an upturned glass on the table
- 23:07beside her. What's the vinyl cloth? The upturned glass? Stupid? Don't
- 23:11you remember in the script the girl is poison but Bella Donna, in a
- 23:15last moment, she turns the glass upside down? What for gives it clue
- 23:18to the poisonerth the butler did it? And the butler always keeps the glasses
- 23:22upside down, and the liquor cabinet, Holy cow, did Sam Long dreaming
- 23:27up all by himself? Do worry about your acting, I'll worry about the
- 23:30script. Well, there's something else I'm worried about. But these stunt you
- 23:33pull every week to tie in with the show, like this gimmick and Laci's
- 23:37window. You know, I think we should drop them, Not on your
- 23:40life. There were thousands of dollars in publicity. Look, I had a
- 23:41nastic phone call from a real inspector of homicide last week about that stunn of
- 23:45yours with a girl in a underway being chased by a gunman down Fifth Street.
- 23:49Well, Inspector Jakes was very annoyed about the whole thing. For getted
- 23:52Rock will make a sizeable contribution to the police pension funder something the next couple
- 23:56of weeks. That'll keep imquire anyway, this seen in lady's windows, ship
- 24:00and upset. I hope you're right, but I doubt it. Inspector Jakes
- 24:03made a lot of rude remarks to me, maybe it doesn't like your acting.
- 24:07Well, you better go and get your makeup off and have a good
- 24:10rest. I'll pick you up at seven on Thursday morning. Seven. Hey,
- 24:12that's in the middle of the night. But why should I be there?
- 24:15You usually handle you thing yourself. You're featured in this display. You're
- 24:19a dummy, remember, Yeah, you flatter me. What a way to
- 24:23make a living, honey. I'd feel sorry for you if it wasn't for
- 24:26all that money you're making. Mister Stone. Thank goodness you've come. I've
- 24:38been waiting for you to come home. Mister Stone. I have to talk
- 24:41to I look bag. I'm actually tired. I'm about to open the store
- 24:44and hit the Hey. You know cannot wait. It's urging, mister Stone.
- 24:48Okay, you better come in now. Then. What's all this about?
- 24:56My name is Hannah Old, mister Stone. I'm an actress. Congratulations.
- 24:59I'm playing on one of your shows next week. That's fine. I
- 25:02frightened, mister Stone. There's something wrong, terribly wrong. If it's as
- 25:06bad as that, I can probably get them to rewrite your part for my
- 25:08part or the show. I'm talking about real life. It affects you as
- 25:12well as me. It affects the whole show. I only found out by
- 25:15accident. I'm scared, mister Stone. I don't know what to do.
- 25:19I'm afraid to go to the police because they won't believe me, and then
- 25:22he'll know it. I'll be Hey, is this some elaborate kind of a
- 25:26gag? I knew it. You won't believe me either. You think I'm
- 25:30crazy before I'd even told you what it's all about, Honey, can you
- 25:33blame me? Go on? Listen, No, what's the use. It's
- 25:37no good. You won't believe me. No, one won't believe me.
- 25:42We must be dreaming. Well, I'm not even in bed. It was
- 25:52Thursday morning, just before Lacy's Deep out Mental store is did to open for
- 25:55business. Outside, there was already a crowd spilling over the sidewalk. Inside,
- 26:00there was a character with rimless glasses and a fixed smile. Arlie Moul
- 26:04introduced us. This is Lacy's manager, mister Sebastian Sheep, and honored to
- 26:08meet you, mister Stone or should I say inspector with a name like that
- 26:14a line of dial I like that? Is he real? Hey, bigger
- 26:17partner? Oh, mister Stone likes his little Jokember Lacy's sponsor a Stone.
- 26:23Well, perhaps you'd like to take a look at the display before we lift
- 26:26the blinds. I think you'll be very pleased with us. We'd love to
- 26:30take a look, mister Sheep. Splendid, there we are. You can
- 26:34step right into the window, just take care not to disturb anything. The
- 26:38dummies are remarkable. I think, just look at your life with mister Stone.
- 26:42How do you like meeting your double and the girl? Hey, isn't
- 26:48it vogue? It's a dummy of it. I didn't know you knew that.
- 26:52It's amazingly lifelike. Isn't it amazing? Say, gleaning that red hair?
- 26:56How do you like that skin texture? Man? It looks like the
- 27:00real thing, So what if it feels the don't do that, I must
- 27:07say, for a man who plays the part of a homicide cop, you're
- 27:08unduly sensitive atmosphere. You don't you don't understand they it's a compliment to our
- 27:15window dresses. Is that what you mean? Missus storm? I tell you
- 27:17you give me your head, darling. How touching. But this isn't the
- 27:22place to hold hands. I don't want to hold it. I want to
- 27:23want to guide it. You feel Yeah, yeah, you see what I
- 27:27mean. She's real, she's been murdered, murdered. We'll have to get
- 27:33the police. Yes, we'll have to get the newspapers first. What do
- 27:37you realize? This is the greatest publicity, the gimmick of all time,
- 27:38A real murder, a real corpse taking the place of a dummy, and
- 27:41a window display. I am thinking of it. That's make my inside churn.
- 27:45I'll call the papers first. I wanted to get pictures with the police
- 27:48coming in the window. Then I'll call homicide. Homicide that means Inspector Jakes.
- 27:52I suppose goodbye? Where are you going South America? He'll be stupid?
- 27:56Stupid? That inspected jakes was rude to me about a traffic buck.
- 28:00What's it gonna be about a murder? Well? Well, well, a
- 28:12great inspector's tone, A wonder boy of Copland. Well, no future murder.
- 28:18It certainly says it every week. Now you've turned up a real life
- 28:22copse. Just so happens with the corps is part of one of your corny
- 28:26publicity stunts. Did she volunteer to die for you? I think about it,
- 28:30Inspector Jakeson. By a remarkable coincidence, every newspaper in town get to
- 28:36hear about the murder before homicide does. You wouldn't have that, you,
- 28:41Inspector, do the right thing by, Inspector. I wouldn't spoil your show
- 28:47for anything that will ever be said that the homicide squad doesn't appreciate a fellow
- 28:52fighter against crime. I can pass wars in Slogeant, Okay, okay,
- 29:03Quiere, that's better. Now, I'm giving you boys a break. You
- 29:11can quote me on all of this, right, Inspector. Yeah, I'm
- 29:15feeling fine. I'm never better. You boys know what's happened. Window was
- 29:19set for a public and he's done for the TV show. There's no future
- 29:22in murder. Someone substituted a real cops for the dummy. I haven't finished.
- 29:30This is a bit of all interest you. I've just been talking to
- 29:34inspect the rock Stone here and he wants to go on record and saying that
- 29:40no one is going to get away with murder on his show. Now.
- 29:42Look, he says, he perstantly pledges himself to bring the murder to justice
- 29:45to solve his crying. And what's more, he doesn't wish for the corporation
- 29:51the homicide squad. He intends to handle it alone. That's a story fire,
- 29:56a real life matter, turns Stone into a real life cop who knows
- 30:00maybe you're getting himself murdered in the process. By what a story? Okay,
- 30:06I can blow you get the story, and I hope you playing a
- 30:08bit. I don't record, and saying that the police department has the greatest
- 30:14respect from Inspector Stone's deductor pause, and they also know he has a hot
- 30:18lead which may well take him straight to the murderer. Inspector Jakes, that's
- 30:30the idea. I've given you a break. That's what every Tuesday night.
- 30:34You're so smart with a script somebody's written for you. Let's say, how
- 30:38smart y'all without a script? But that quick about my having a hot lead.
- 30:42Supposing the murderer reads that, he would believe it, he probably will.
- 30:48We might kill you, never know, we might be lucky. If
- 30:52that I've given a tow you on a plate, the camera's focus right on
- 30:57you go to it and spector welcome back. Well, I'm not gonna comment
- 31:17much on this. Basically, this is an episode where I don't need to
- 31:22analyze it all because the story is going for the ludicrous. So we'll find
- 31:27out what will happen next week as the police bow out for actor Rockstone.
- 31:34In the next installment of Belladonna is Poison, Join it, Join us for
