Welcome to Nate's Daily Wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This Nate's Daily Wager for
• 0:26
August 19th, 2023. And well, didn't go as I'd hope
• 0:31
  yesterday. They actually scored some
• 0:32
points, had a little bit of hope there towards the fourth
• 0:36
quarter, but then points came in and that's the way it goes.
• 0:40
So, Oh well, that happens. It's preseason football.
• 0:43
I mean, come on, what kind of DJ is betting on preseason
• 0:46
  football? So Speaking of preseason
• 0:48
football and betting on it, we got some games tonight.
• 0:51
I'm looking at this Detroit Lions Jags game that's going on
• 0:57
today. We got the Lions hosting and
• 1:01
they're 3 1/2 point underdogs, so now I understand the Jags are
• 1:05
going to be a lot better than they were last year.
• 1:07
So are the Lions. And you think, man, Campbell's
• 1:11
going to be willing to just roll over just because it's a
• 1:14
  preseason game? Heck no.
• 1:15
He's going to try to win this thing outright and he's
• 1:18
definitely going to want to cover.
• 1:20
So we're going to take the Lions.
• 1:22
So we're going Lions plus three against the Jags and today's.
• 1:27
NFL preseason football. See anything better than that?
• 1:30
Found it. That's my pick and I'm sticking
• 1:31
