- Shaun: Welcome back to the reset. I am Sean Tucker, human performance scientist and authority architect. We are here in the Living Lab documenting the struggle, the science, and the shift for every high performance dad and founder who is ready to bridge the gap between their ambition and their presence. Who changes the world? Who is it who is in charge of changing the world? Is it the politicians? Is it small business? Is it large business? Is it the tech companies? I don't know. Maybe it's not any of those at all. I think, in my opinion, in my view of the world, it is up to us. It is you who has the power to change the world. Because if you're not willing to change yourself, there is no way you can ch change the outside situations. Unless you have the willingness to change something about yourself. Forget changing the world. We as a society have arrived at this point where there is war, chaos, corruption, all of these problems, right? Why do you think that is? It's not because there's some evil leader at the top of the food chain saying, We do this. No. It's because we've become victims of our own minds. We have become slaves of our own minds, and we don't operate from a place of consciousness, we operate from a place of survival. When we let go of the process of survival when it is taken care of, which in most western cultures, which is in most parts of the worlds that I've been to at least, have basic survival needs taken care of. I know in the world right now there's still a global issues of survival happening. I understand that. What I'm talking about is ourselves taking back our own agency around choice that we have. Around the choice that we have to become a better version of ourself. Every single day we have one choice. Every single moment, actually, we have a choice. Do we become conscious of it? Or do we just let it pass? Do we let it pass by? Do we become more? Autobotish? Do we just let the world, the universe, do we just let the cycles of life dictate how we live our life? How we are whilst we're living our life? Or do we take back control? Do we take back the ability, the willingness? The choice. To execute choice, to use our will, to use our to use our minds not as a as a tool to cut things, but as a tool to see beyond. Do we use our bodies as a tool to settle our minds to the point where we can see clearly? I don't think there are too many people and there aren't too many leaders that are equipped with that level of being able to settle into themselves. And I think there's a call for leaders at all levels. But it starts with us. It starts with you fundamentally. Because if you're not ready to take the step in your own life and be open to seeing what life is really about, life isn't just this world that happens in society. Life is so much more than that. And it's your experience of life ultimately that is what ta is what goes with you, is what you will transmit to your children, to your communities, to your other family members, to the people you care most about. That relationship you have with yourself is the one you have with life. And I think it's more than worth saving. It's more than worth even surviving for. It's it's worth Every little bit of attention and focus that you have. Because that is what the miracle of life is all about. That is why we are human beings to explore what it means to be a human being. Maybe I dunno. Maybe I'm just off on another rant talking about stuff that doesn't matter. Or maybe there is something in here. Maybe we become still enough to find out. If you want learn what that means, follow this journey. Keep following along. And if you found this episode helpful, share it with one person. That's all I'm going to leave you with today. Thank you so much for being here.
