Nixon WARNED YOU: The Gold Standard Returns! · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:02
What do you think will happen to the price of silver and gold
0:05
when the world goes back on the gold standard?
0:10
What if President Nixon was telling us the truth, right?
0:14
This temporary removal from the gold standard was all that he
0:18
was doing back in 1971. What do you think's going to
0:22
happen to the price of gold and silver?
0:26
We're going to dive into it in this video.
0:28
I wanted to jump on. I'll repeat this over and over
0:32
in the coming years until we realize all of us and we're
0:36
living in a world where gold and silver have reassumed their
0:41
traditional role as the primary store of value throughout the
0:46
world. Because I got very excited when
0:49
this dawned on me this morning. And I have a piece of writing
0:52
that we're going to look at from Vince Lanchey as well.
0:55
Guys, it's going to happen. We will be back on some type of
0:59
gold or silver standard. And it's happening actually
1:03
right now, right in front of our very, very eyes.
1:07
We can't deny it. Think about all the people
1:11
throughout the world. Oh, sorry, Susie was calling me.
1:16
Think about all the people throughout the world, this mad
1:19
rush to silver and gold. Think about governments, central
1:23
banks around the world, this mad rush to silver and gold.
1:28
It's happening. And when it comes to full
1:31
fruition, right, we will see a complete different.
1:35
I don't even know how we'll value silver and gold at that
1:38
point. Maybe it won't even be in
1:40
dollars anymore, paper money. But I want to give you an
1:43
example as to how this is happening.
1:46
And I understand it can be a little complicated.
1:48
And I understand that if you buy off on what the mainstream media
1:52
tells you, the common consensus out there is it will never go
1:55
back, will never ever go back to a gold standard.
2:00
Well, I'm telling you it's going to happen.
2:01
I want you to, I want you to give you a, a, an easy to
2:04
understand analogy. Make it as simple as I possibly
2:08
can. Imagine that the whole world is
2:12
just 10 people, OK? Me and you and eight other
2:16
people. Me and you, we're kind of the
2:18
rulers of the world. We're on this little island,
2:21
this nice little island. You and I, we're the rulers of
2:25
the world, OK? We've got the good land on the
2:28
island. The other eight people, we
2:30
forced them to live next to the sea.
2:32
They don't have it so well. We like to trade in coconuts.
2:37
Stay with me on this one, OK? We like to because we live
2:41
inland. Coconuts fall all the time.
2:43
We are the rulers. We're the stronger of the group.
2:46
You and I, the other eight people living by the sea, they
2:50
fish. They provide the fish for our
2:52
community, right? It's a lot of work for them to
2:55
go out there to fish, to catch the fish.
2:57
Everything else, we force them to trade in coconuts with us.
3:02
We don't have to do anything for our coconuts.
3:03
We can essentially print all the coconuts we want.
3:07
But we're, we're stronger, we're bigger, we've got a little
3:10
better weaponry, that type of thing.
3:12
We're living in the shade. So at some point those people
3:16
right, that are fishing all day long and we're forcing them to
3:19
trade for coconuts. They come to us and say we don't
3:22
want your coconuts anymore, right?
3:27
Does this make sense? That's we're kind of like the
3:29
West, the United States. We can print money into
3:33
Infinity. Everything else, the, the, the,
3:36
the smaller people bind together and they're like, we don't want
3:38
your coconuts anymore. It would be like the rest of the
3:41
world, the BRICS countries, what they're doing right now coming
3:44
to the United States and saying, hey, guess what, guys, we don't
3:49
really want your dollars anymore.
3:51
And unfortunately, that's what's unfolding right before our very
3:55
eyes. And when those eight people, the
3:59
fishermen got together, but and, and we're like, well, wait a
4:02
minute. No, you need her.
4:04
They're like, you know what, you go ahead and keep your coconuts.
4:06
If you want fish from us, you need to trade with fish, right?
4:11
And that's what could happen with this emergence of the gold
4:15
standard. I know it's kind of a deep,
4:17
heady subject to dive into, guys, but it is real we're
4:21
seeing right now, right? And if we look back at history,
4:24
this has happened many, many times when the world had moved
4:28
away from, never completely, but moved away from backing money
4:33
with real assets like gold and silver.
4:36
But the story always ends the same way.
4:38
We go back to gold and silver again.
4:41
Think about what's going on all over the world right now.
4:45
Individuals buying unbelievable amounts of precious metals,
4:50
central banks buying unbelievable amounts of precious
4:54
metals. The Bank for International
4:56
Settlements making gold a tier one asset.
5:00
The Bank for International Settlements is the central Bank
5:02
of the central banks. OK, the Fed's not going to do
5:08
it, right? The federal government in the
5:10
United States will not do it, but we have the individuals
5:13
throughout the world. We even have individual states
5:16
in the United States passing legal tender legislation.
5:20
The loan holdout is the United States federal government.
5:24
But could they be forced? Forced.
5:27
They're not going to do it willingly, but could they be
5:29
forced into recognizing gold right into recognizing the world
5:35
gold standard? They probably, they're not going
5:37
to call it the gold standard again, right?
5:40
It's likely even the BRICS countries, they're going to say
5:43
we are officially back on the gold standard.
5:45
But what they are working towards, so think about this,
5:48
what the BRICS countries are working toward right now is a
5:53
shared currency that will in some level be backed by real
5:57
assets, things like gold and silver.
6:00
So we could get to a point where the United States says, hey, we
6:05
want to buy this from you, China.
6:08
And China says, that's great, right?
6:10
You can buy it with this currency, right?
6:13
I mean, the United States could be forced into on some level
6:19
recognizing the fact that the world has moved to a gold
6:22
standard. It could happen by default.
6:24
Let's let's briefly dig into what Vince Lanci had to say.
6:27
And then we're going to talk about some more of the evidence
6:31
that we are indeed moving towards a a gold standard within
6:35
this world. Vince wrote this Vince Lancy for
6:38
for those of you who don't know who he is, he's a college
6:41
professor. He's an ex trader.
6:43
I believe in the silver pits up in a super, super, super smart
6:48
guy. He's got a sub stack.
6:49
I'll show you that here at the end.
6:51
But he wrote this. This is from Zero Hedge.
6:53
He said the bricks are definitely pursuing a gold
6:55
standard for the West. This means one thing.
6:58
If a western nation wants to trade with the bricks.
7:02
He's saying the same thing for certain goods.
7:05
It needs more gold. If the West does not wish to
7:08
trade with the bricks for those items, then they must onshore
7:13
French shore or reshore their supply chains.
7:16
Meaning if we need something from some of the BRICS countries
7:20
and we're not willing to pay for it on some level with gold, then
7:24
we're going to need to find a way to make it ourselves here in
7:26
the United States. Maybe we're talking about
7:28
something like oil, but there's certain things, especially many
7:33
of the manufactured goods that we get from China that right now
7:37
we don't have the capacity to make in this country.
7:39
OK, there's supply chains sufficiently and natural
7:43
resources to obviate the need for the bricks resources.
7:46
The question will be which is less expensive and less
7:50
dangerous to do. Wow, wow, wow.
7:53
So let's just run through this. The the bricks will use a gold
7:56
standard. It's all one thing.
7:59
It's all one thing. Given the following realities,
8:02
the bricks and those that wish to trade with them must go on a
8:05
gold standard in part or in whole.
8:07
Why? It's about the supply chain and
8:10
payment chain. the US must rebuild supply chains to remain
8:13
self-sufficient in certain commodities or it must trade
8:16
with the bricks on bricks terms and that will mean gold in hand.
8:21
We aren't going to get into it. We aren't.
8:23
We aren't going to do. the United States government is not
8:25
going to do this willingly. It'll be a forced situation
8:29
here. The currency, let's go up here,
8:33
the bricks are in the process of creating a settlement medium
8:37
currency, medium of exchange for international trade comprised of
8:41
gold and other assets deemed separable from dollar influence,
8:47
right? It's a medium of exchange that
8:49
basically has nothing to do with the US dollar, is not connected
8:55
to the US dollar in any way, shape or form, but is connected
8:59
is backed by real assets, things like gold and I would imagine
9:03
potentially silver thrown in there as well.
9:05
But we're we're talking about gold right now.
9:08
Delivery and receipt of the settlement medium concurrent
9:11
with the reciprocal goods, the goods bought with the settlement
9:15
medium exchange for said medium will make all transactions will
9:19
make final all transactions negotiated.
9:23
There's the Bricks 2024 in Russia.
9:29
America is asleep at the wheel. Literally.
9:32
I'll leave that one alone. The unit and technology in
9:35
green. The currency will make use of
9:39
blockchain. In doing so.
9:41
This will serve as an immutable contract between negotiating
9:45
parties. This is not crypto.
9:47
There's a difference between crypto and the blockchain.
9:50
The blockchain is the the best record keeping system in the
9:54
world and what this is saying is it will be based on blockchain
9:57
technology which will essentially eliminate the
10:01
ability for anyone to manipulate things.
10:06
The combination of unit type pro rata measurements, blockchain
10:11
type security and current accounting economics is, it is
10:14
believed, will serve to solidify the nascent currencies
10:18
denomination, reliability and value.
10:21
Here's the problem for the G7. That would be us here in the
10:25
United States. Before we get to that problem, I
10:27
want to step back. Wow, guys, 300 people on a live
10:30
stream on different platforms. Thank you.
10:33
I just got so excited about this idea and we've talked about it
10:38
before, but I thought Vince really provided a lot more
10:41
detail about the fact that it's it's like inevitable.
10:45
The world is going to force Mother Nature is going to force
10:48
the United States back onto the gold and silver standard.
10:51
Let's run out to pin back since we're live and check on the gold
10:54
and silver. What up $0.19?
10:57
That can't be right. Let's press the magic button
11:00
here and see where we wow, it went up 10 more times.
11:05
Gold is up $1.90. Silver only down $0.43.
11:09
What had been looking like a really bad day for the metals is
11:11
shaping up. Hey, thank you to Pimbex for
11:13
making this live stream video possible.
11:15
If you want to get your hands on some silver, gold or platinum
11:17
group metals, do yourself a favor, check out Pimbex.
11:22
They've got gold, silver, platinum.
11:23
They've got the best prices, great service and free shipping
11:27
on orders $299 and higher. All right, guys, let's get back
11:31
to this article and talk about what else what what's the
11:37
problem for us? The G7, it's believed that the
11:41
West central banks will need to have bricks currency exposure in
11:45
their reserve to better hedge their own economic risk.
11:48
Failing literally to have that bricks currency, the G7 central
11:52
banks and sovereign wealth funds will simply continue to
11:55
accumulate the assets. So if they're not going to buy
11:59
into the brick system, they're going to need to buy the assets
12:03
gold, silver etcetera that are deemed important or hard to get
12:07
on demand like gold and silver within the store of value of
12:11
basket the bricks created. In other words, they will simply
12:15
reverse engineer the basket and buy the parts needed.
12:20
Meaning, right, that if the BRICS countries are using gold
12:24
and silver, we're going to be forced to use gold and silver.
12:28
We in the last thing will do is admit that we're back on the
12:31
gold standard, but the United States will be forced to buy
12:34
gold and standard gold and silver if they want to play ball
12:38
with the rest of the world. Remember, like my example
12:42
earlier, right? If you got 10 people on an
12:44
island and two of them have coconuts and eight of them have
12:48
fish, and the people that have fish don't really want the
12:50
coconuts, then the people that got the coconuts got to get some
12:53
fish, right? I know a very simple example,
12:58
but I think it really does apply here.
13:00
The bricks challenge to to dollar hegemony for over a
13:05
decade these these discussions have simmered about moving away
13:08
from the US dollar recently these ideas have taken a more
13:11
concrete shape driven by the BRICS nations which are
13:14
positioning themselves to counterbalance western
13:17
influence. All right last part here the
13:22
three phase plan OK the BRICS is advancing a three-step plan to
13:28
establish a new international currency.
13:30
This includes adopting the gold standard, creating a unified
13:35
payment system with advanced technologies.
13:38
We talked about that earlier, right, Based upon the the
13:41
blockchain and promoting central bank digital currencies.
13:45
We may not like it, but that's going to play a role in this
13:48
future monetary system. This initiative of this is blew
13:53
me away the hold on one side. The initiative aims to reshape
13:56
the global economy, challenging the dominance of the US dollar
14:00
established since the Bretton Woods Conference.
14:02
The Bretton Woods Conference was that 1944 conference when the
14:05
United States basically told the world, hey, guys, guess what, We
14:08
got all the gold. We rule the world, so
14:11
everybody's going to base their currency off the US dollar, and
14:14
the US dollar will be based on gold.
14:16
That worked really well from 1944 through 1971 when President
14:20
Nixon temporarily, remember, temporarily took us off the gold
14:25
standard. And isn't it ironic that now the
14:27
world is coming back to the United States and saying guess
14:30
what, fellas, if you want to play ball with us, you need to
14:34
have gold. OK, This I think says a lot.
14:39
The BRICS nations have been increasing their gold reserves,
14:44
now totaling 6.3000 tons. How does that compare the BRICS
14:49
nations as a whole, 6.3000 tons to what the United States has?
14:54
Well, we supposedly have 8000 tons in Fort Knox in Kentucky.
15:01
I believe it is. So guys, they're not that far
15:04
behind us as the world's largest.
15:05
And they've been buying gold and they continue to buy more gold
15:09
since 2022. Their their actions signal a
15:14
clear intention to develop a new global currency.
15:19
Why else would they be buying all the gold?
15:22
OK, here, let's just read this. The the success of this new new
15:26
currency will hinge on the economic and demographic
15:29
strengths in the BRICS countries.
15:31
Together they account for 29.5 trillion or roughly 30% of
15:36
global GDP. I'd say that's significant.
15:39
And a population of 3.5 billion people, that would be about 10
15:45
times the size of the United States, providing a strong
15:49
foundation for the currency's circulation, the end of dollar
15:54
dependency to achieve financial independence from Western
15:57
systems. They're the bricks are
15:59
developing their own payment systems.
16:01
We've talked about that. OK, China leads the way with the
16:06
digital currency implementation. The PBOC already has a big CBDC
16:12
project. Russia also is is is
16:16
implementing a big CBDC project. Beijing is expanding its
16:20
cross-border CBDC project with the M bridge system that's
16:25
getting a lot of a lot of notice lately that involves Hong Kong,
16:30
Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, and 25 other observing
16:34
countries. If you want to learn more and
16:36
there's more to this article, I'm going to click on this as
16:38
Vince's sub stack. It's gold fix, VBL gold fix at
16:44
substack.com. Thank you, Vince, for that
16:47
unbelievable insight. More detail.
16:51
We've been talking about this guy's in the basement forever
16:55
and you, maybe you don't agree with it, but I firmly believe
16:59
that we are moving back to a gold standard.
17:03
Look, and you got to realize that is not what our our federal
17:08
government wants is what they wanted in 1944.
17:10
And it worked great, right? We had some, I mean, the 40s,
17:13
the 50s, the 60s, I think we're pretty good years economically.
17:18
We had spent multiple decades, maybe even over a century on the
17:23
gold standard in this country when we achieved more as a
17:26
country than any other country had ever achieved throughout
17:29
history. So this move, it's like a
17:32
natural law, right? It's like gravity.
17:36
It's like Mother Nature. It's like free market is really
17:40
what it is. It's market forces forcing,
17:44
forcing the world right back on to a gold standard.
17:48
I mean, again, right, If you have something like we have
17:52
paper dollars and if the world is saying, sorry United States,
17:57
we don't want your paper dollars anymore and they are saying
18:01
that, think about that. They are definitely telling us
18:05
that right now. And on top of that, what are
18:09
they doing? What are their other actions?
18:12
The world central banks are accumulating massive, massive
18:15
amounts of gold. That's what I see coming, guys.
18:18
Hey, thank you channel sponsor first mining gold and Fortuna
18:22
mining. And of course, guys, if you want
18:24
to check out some great deals on silver and gold, go check out
18:28
Pimbex Pi MB EXI. Just wanted to hop on say hello.
18:32
It's becoming like so clear to me when I look at the big moving
18:38
picture going on out there in the world right now when it
18:42
comes to silver and gold and real money.
18:46
Don't forget, right, President G President Putin, the last time
18:50
they were together, they always have this thing that they say to
18:53
each other, which is, hey, the world is changing like no other
18:57
time in history. And we are at the forefront of
19:01
this change. It's going to be a crazy, crazy
19:05
coming six months. OK.
19:08
We're going to be all buckled up, right?
19:10
The feathers will be flying, but we'll be here and we'll get
19:13
through it all together. Hey, thank you, guys.
19:16
Yeah. That that bear blind.
19:18
Great. Nate says the that bear's
19:20
blindfold is coming off soon. Hello, Annie Oakley.
19:23
Good to see you. Hey, thank you to Annie.
19:25
I think Jake's here as well. Thank you to the moderators.
19:29
I know Susie's over at her mom's house.
19:32
I don't know if Big Tim, the Silvershire's here.
19:35
Got anything you guys want to talk about?
19:36
I'll stick around for a few minutes here and check the check
19:40
the chat. Let me see what's going on, then
19:42
I'll come down. If you have any questions or or
19:44
anything you guys want to chat about, leave it in the chat.
19:49
Jake says it'll take about 8 to 10 years to get the gold out of
19:52
the Grand Canyon. What about all the protests and
19:54
judges blocking the mining? Yeah, I don't know a lot about
19:58
that. I know that there are some
19:59
people that say there's an unbelievable amount of gold in
20:03
the Grand Canyon. I don't know.
20:05
I have no idea. And I actually tried to research
20:09
that at some point like a year or six months ago, and I
20:12
couldn't find a lot, which maybe means there is a lot of gold in
20:15
the Grand Canyon, right? You would think that if it is
20:18
the case, they wouldn't be advertising it.
20:21
What about the trade for gold to silver?
20:24
Oh, hey, Jake. Jake.
20:25
Yeah. OK.
20:26
Yeah, Jake subscribes to the premium gold fix.
20:29
Yeah, that's Lancey. Lancey.
20:31
I always pronounce it wrong, but just I think one of the real
20:35
leaders in the in the in the industry, Bix Weir, I think.
20:41
Yeah, Bix, I believe I'm I could be wrong.
20:44
Was one of the people that said that there was.
20:47
Hey, thank you, Carl. Wow.
20:49
I'm glad you've been here, Ron. Listen to Bix Weir.
20:51
Yeah, I'll have to. If anybody has a Bix Weir video
20:55
where he talks about that, e-mail it to me 'cause I've
20:58
looked and looked and I've and I've heard that Bix was the
21:01
person who was talking about the potential or, I don't know,
21:04
maybe he believes for sure that there's a ton of gold in the
21:08
Grand Canyon. OK, Hi, everyone.
21:12
Better late than never. Hello.
21:13
CT 87. Yeah, we haven't done this for a
21:16
while. Hey, guys, I tell you what,
21:18
Let's have let's have a little bit of fun, huh?
21:20
Tell me where you're joining me from.
21:22
I love to see if I can keep up with the chat and the different
21:25
