- 0:00Speaker 1: Jia, Good morning, Hi, Hi, what's up?
- 0:02Speaker 2: You're on the air.
- 0:03Speaker 3: So I I just had to tell you guys this
- 0:06Speaker 3: story I had. I had an event a few weeks ago.
- 0:10Speaker 3: And I don't know girls really know this. I don't
- 0:12Speaker 3: know about guys, but like, you can look at your
- 0:13Speaker 3: makeup done it like an ultar or suppora, and I
- 0:17Speaker 3: wanted to be smatched. I wanted to look good, so
- 0:19Speaker 3: I went. I thought, like, how you know, it's like
- 0:21Speaker 3: they're not like the most trustworthy makeup artist, but like
- 0:24Speaker 3: you don't have to pay if you buy like a product.
- 0:27Speaker 3: But they did me so dirty. I have pretty like
- 0:32Speaker 3: tanned all of the skin, and they gave me a
- 0:37Speaker 3: shade that made me look like I was literally uh
- 0:41Speaker 3: trapped inside for six months. Like I looked sickly, ill, pale.
- 0:45Speaker 3: My face was one color and my neck was another.
- 0:49Speaker 3: I took photos that night and like the brightness on
- 0:51Speaker 3: me was just it was I mean, it was awful,
- 0:54Speaker 3: and like the makeup artists kept being like, trust the process,
- 0:56Speaker 3: trust the process, and I did instead of going with
- 0:59Speaker 3: my gout, which was to just get up and leave.
- 1:01Speaker 3: And oh now I completely understand people who are like
- 1:05Speaker 3: makeup moyl to one makeup artist, you know, because I
- 1:08Speaker 3: just it was awful, and like, you want to find
- 1:10Speaker 3: someone who like really knows how to work with darker
- 1:13Speaker 3: skin tones, and like, once you find that person, you
- 1:16Speaker 3: have to stick with them because otherwise you might end
- 1:19Speaker 3: up like me, was totally reminds me of what happened
- 1:21Speaker 3: to you, Paint, because you were telling us, like literally
- 1:22Speaker 3: the exact same thing happened to you.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Did you end up like finding a good makeup artist?
- 1:26Speaker 2: I did, And I mean I was dealing with that
- 1:28Speaker 2: all weekend.
- 1:28Speaker 1: O goat, wait, hold on, we're going to get into
- 1:30Speaker 1: this whole reception. We're gonna get into your makeup. We're
- 1:32Speaker 1: need into all that coming up in less than thirty minutes. Okay,
- 1:35Speaker 1: so so so pays reception. We're gonna get in that
- 1:38Speaker 1: just a little bit.
- 1:39Speaker 2: No, but it is, it's really something that's really, I
- 1:41Speaker 2: mean a struggle for a lot of people. I mean
- 1:43Speaker 2: I have that too, because I have curly hair. So
- 1:44Speaker 2: it's like now curly hair it's tideing in. So now
- 1:47Speaker 2: you like, you know, you can go get a curly haircut.
- 1:49Speaker 2: But growing up, it was either you better flat iron
- 1:52Speaker 2: it or throw some gel and slick it back because
- 1:54Speaker 2: my mom just doesn't know how to do my hair,
- 1:56Speaker 2: you know.
- 1:56Speaker 1: But she's talking about the skin.
- 1:57Speaker 2: I know. But it's all the things. It's like when
- 1:59Speaker 2: you're well, let me.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Ask this, because I don't know. When you say you
- 2:02Speaker 1: go to Alta, are they doing you a favor or
- 2:04Speaker 1: you've got to pay for it?
- 2:04Speaker 2: You pay for it?
- 2:05Speaker 1: Oh, you go there, they sell the makeup and you
- 2:07Speaker 1: got to pay for it from the PAA.
- 2:08Speaker 2: No, so you basically Alta or I've never done at Alta. Sephora.
- 2:13Speaker 2: I know that they have actual chairs that you can
- 2:15Speaker 2: go and you can book in a real chair glam
- 2:17Speaker 2: session for fifty bucks.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Actual you just walk in there and they got real
- 2:20Speaker 1: chairs there, And do people go? Are these actual chairs
- 2:23Speaker 1: literal makeup chairs?
- 2:25Speaker 2: There's a different I'm not.
- 2:26Speaker 1: I'm not at a at lady. What's the place they
- 2:30Speaker 1: build the shares over there?
- 2:30Speaker 2: I can't. They're just real chairs, yeah, real makeup chairs,
- 2:35Speaker 2: real makeup stations where you can actually get glam Yeah,
- 2:38Speaker 2: by makeup artists who work at Sephora or work at Max.
- 2:41Speaker 2: So a lot of people do that for prom high
- 2:43Speaker 2: school kids a lot of times. Season it's fifty bucks
- 2:46Speaker 2: to go get at least it was when.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I was in what's your cost to get like where
- 2:49Speaker 1: you did? Is that a lot?
- 2:52Speaker 2: Yeah? Well, it's like like when I got my makeup
- 2:54Speaker 2: done for my bridal shower, I spend one hundred and
- 2:56Speaker 2: fifty on it.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Dang, you keep it on for like for days.
- 2:59Speaker 2: No, I keep it on for the eight hours. Usually
- 3:02Speaker 2: if I get my makeup done, my ass is going
- 3:04Speaker 2: out to the club or something.
- 3:05Speaker 1: It's like when Blake gets a hair done, she always
- 3:07Speaker 1: wants me to go to She's like, let's go to
- 3:09Speaker 1: I got my hair done to school, do dinner, And
- 3:10Speaker 1: I'm like, dinner.
- 3:11Speaker 2: It's like five o'clock somewhere. Wait, so is that hair
- 3:15Speaker 2: and makeup is one hundred and fifty or just makeup?
- 3:17Speaker 2: That's just make up. A hair is a whole different beast.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Okay, so if somebody just comes to do your hair,
- 3:23Speaker 1: that's another one hundred bucks.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I would probably spend like one hundred and fifty bucks
- 3:28Speaker 2: on my hair too, So three hundred just to look
- 3:30Speaker 2: good for the day, exactly?
- 3:32Speaker 1: WHOA Well, Kiera, you definitely hit hit a hot button hair.
