Missing Teen in Plumas County | Reno News
A 15-year-old girl, Penelope “Penny” Chavez, went missing from her Chester home on July 9th, and authorities are urgently searching for her. Described as Hispanic, 5’6”, 115 lbs, with dyed red hair, brown eyes, and a nose piercing, she’s believed to have left on her own. The investigation points to the Susanville area, especially near Ash and Hall streets. With her age and safety at risk, the community is rallying to help—anyone with information should contact the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office, and if she’s in immediate danger, call 911.
