- 0:30Speaker 1: I don't care that I get I'm tired of I
- 0:32Speaker 1: don't get jaded all from Canel rules.
- 0:35Speaker 2: But you turned down the.
- 0:37Speaker 5: Wall when I stopped because I didn't want to. I
- 0:40Speaker 5: don't want to make nobody look bad. And when when
- 0:42Speaker 5: Tony asked me recently, I was I was burned.
- 0:44Speaker 3: I was over.
- 0:46Speaker 5: I would have been looking bad.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I get it. Brittany asked me to do a show,
- 0:52Speaker 1: and I was just like, I need to take a second. Yeah, you,
- 0:56Speaker 1: comedy is not something you can approach from the wrong, right,
- 1:00Speaker 1: you need I know, y'all, don't never stop ever.
- 1:03Speaker 4: This is all that's all I'm good at. Though I don't.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Have I don't have a lot of skills.
- 1:08Speaker 4: No, it's the one that I'm good at.
- 1:11Speaker 2: I don't have a lot to act, but I don't
- 1:15Speaker 2: feel like doing all this.
- 1:16Speaker 3: You can act.
- 1:17Speaker 1: To Dustin, I followed you because he did a video
- 1:21Speaker 1: with John John about living in Portland. This man, Dustin said,
- 1:25Speaker 1: I just wish I could live in a Mason Jar.
- 1:27Speaker 1: I was like, I gotta know who this man. That's
- 1:29Speaker 1: the funniest thing I heard. Also being around Portland, I
- 1:33Speaker 1: was like, this is exactly, so you do have that.
- 1:37Speaker 4: It's it's yeah, there's so much I don't want to
- 1:39Speaker 4: go somewhere.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:40Speaker 1: The best thing about the strike is, I mean I
- 1:41Speaker 1: don't have to act like I'm auditioning the yeah strike man.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Otherwise that being there, Yeah.
- 1:47Speaker 6: There's like's like offered a writing job recently for a
- 1:51Speaker 6: show and I'm like, that's a job job.
- 1:53Speaker 4: I don't want to go to a building.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Yeah, so you turn it down.
- 1:58Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't want to shower before were nine am
- 2:01Speaker 6: and got to put on an outfits. Yeah, put on
- 2:06Speaker 6: my bow tie back in the I know what.
- 2:10Speaker 3: I don't want a boss.
- 2:11Speaker 4: I can't. I could never have a boss again.
- 2:15Speaker 2: On that Yeah, stand up ruined me. Yeah, you can't
- 2:19Speaker 2: for regular ruined.
- 2:21Speaker 4: You ever say no to a job?
- 2:22Speaker 1: Now?
- 2:23Speaker 2: You want to say no to everything?
- 2:25Speaker 4: The god I like I had. I don't know.
- 2:31Speaker 6: Maybe I won't say the number, but we there was
- 2:33Speaker 6: a I got offered a gig this week.
- 2:36Speaker 4: The umber it's not it's not a crazy number.
- 2:38Speaker 3: It's thirty.
- 2:40Speaker 4: It's not when you first start commenting.
- 2:43Speaker 6: And it was like an hour from my house and
- 2:46Speaker 6: it was only like twenty minutes and it was like
- 2:49Speaker 6: this like conference of speakers and I looked at.
- 2:52Speaker 4: It and I was like, oh, they all look like douchebags.
- 2:55Speaker 4: And I said no. And it was the best feeling,
- 2:59Speaker 4: just saying no to work.
- 3:01Speaker 2: That's good.
- 3:02Speaker 4: That's good money.
- 3:03Speaker 2: That's good money.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Me and Tony be getting offered stuff on the same
- 3:06Speaker 1: email chair and before I even see the email, Tony
- 3:09Speaker 1: has turned it down.
- 3:12Speaker 5: So what'll turn down? Like, what's the criteria for turn down?
- 3:17Speaker 3: This was a corporate gig and those are the absolute worst.
- 3:21Speaker 1: There's stuffy, Like I did one for a company I
- 3:24Speaker 1: ain't gonna say in case they come back. And I'm
- 3:26Speaker 1: in a different part of my life and I remember
- 3:28Speaker 1: being on stage telling my jokes and my body escaped
- 3:31Speaker 1: behind me, and I was watching myself and I was like,
- 3:34Speaker 1: I don't want to do it when.
- 3:38Speaker 3: I felt like and I was just like the corporate gig.
- 3:41Speaker 3: I would much rather.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Perform in Louisville for like one hundred and fifty people,
- 3:46Speaker 1: undefeated and energy, than for like a thousand people at
- 3:50Speaker 1: a corporate gig and ten times a day. I'm grateful
- 3:53Speaker 1: for that. I can turn stuff down, but corporate gigs
- 3:55Speaker 1: are not.
- 3:56Speaker 6: Well, it's the cost of as soon as you boocket,
- 3:59Speaker 6: you dread it. You know that's on the calendar somewhere,
- 4:02Speaker 6: so it is more than the hour on stage.
- 4:04Speaker 4: You're thinking about it, sure, and then you got to
- 4:06Speaker 4: go do it.
- 4:07Speaker 3: This was across the country, and then you got to.
- 4:09Speaker 6: Act like you care about their company and you'd be
- 4:11Speaker 6: nice to people, and then you got to do it,
- 4:13Speaker 6: and then you're embarrassed after.
- 4:16Speaker 1: It's a lot man and corporate, like corporate America is
- 4:20Speaker 1: just yeah, I don't like.
- 4:22Speaker 6: Well, the difference this way I don't like corporate gigs
- 4:24Speaker 6: is in stand up you are the boss in that room,
- 4:27Speaker 6: your alpha.
- 4:29Speaker 4: But you're not at that corporate gig. You're a court jester.
- 4:32Speaker 6: Yes they will, yeah, yeah, they're at you going dance, joke,
- 4:38Speaker 6: monkey dance.
- 4:39Speaker 4: And then you're like, for the right price, I will.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Because then the check You're like, you know there's yeah, yeah.
- 4:45Speaker 6: That's there's always I've said no to gigs five times,
- 4:48Speaker 6: and then the number keeps getting higher. You're like, well,
- 4:49Speaker 6: all right, I was wouldn't sell out for I start twisting.
- 4:53Speaker 6: I start thinking what would my dad say if he
- 4:56Speaker 6: saw this email, if he saw me say no to this,
- 4:58Speaker 6: he'd be like, I raised you wrong.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Full time. Take the gig.
- 5:04Speaker 4: Don't forget where you came from, the cover of people,
- 5:06Speaker 4: have the brand.
- 5:08Speaker 1: I'm just gonna have the worst forty five minutes or
- 5:10Speaker 1: twenty five minutes.
- 5:11Speaker 4: That's how I view it.
- 5:12Speaker 6: I always uh John christ and I says, I say,
- 5:15Speaker 6: there's a brown bag of money waiting for me. I
- 5:17Speaker 6: just gotta go there for a couple hours and then
- 5:19Speaker 6: I'm going to grab this brown bag of money. Yeah,
- 5:22Speaker 6: because it's it can be a big number sometimes, But.
- 5:27Speaker 3: That's what I was thinking about. The Vegas thing.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I was remember George Uhal question.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Yeah, he was saying. He was like, I come down
- 5:33Speaker 3: for my penhouse.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Yes, yes, I got one show at ten o'clo. Yeah,
- 5:37Speaker 1: He's like, I wouldn't necessarily do this, but I get it.
- 5:39Speaker 1: He was like, I never have to even switch the
- 5:40Speaker 1: material up.
- 5:41Speaker 6: No, go back upstairs, tell you like this is your
- 5:47Speaker 6: your ugly mama got the stairs.
- 5:49Speaker 2: I would do a residency for a little bit.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Will travel is the worst part of stand Yeah, yeah.
- 5:54Speaker 2: I would do a residency in Vegas.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Yeah, I want to do five.
- 5:58Speaker 2: These week though. Yeah, I don't want to do every night,
- 6:01Speaker 2: every night, every.
- 6:02Speaker 5: Night like Thursday, Wednesday through Sunday, Monday through.
- 6:08Speaker 7: Yeah, Saturday, because every night there's a bit much.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, come on, but you're gonna work for for
- 6:18Speaker 3: an hour.
- 6:18Speaker 2: But yeah, it's easy work and I can go down then.
- 6:22Speaker 6: As long as as long as I'm big enough at
- 6:25Speaker 6: that stage in my career that I don't have to
- 6:27Speaker 6: worry about it filling up, because like the residencies are
- 6:30Speaker 6: pressure if you're not famous, like if you're.
- 6:33Speaker 3: As you're big enough.
- 6:35Speaker 6: Yeah, if I'm big enough that this is fine.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Get yeah, yeah, like a knock to be a residency
- 6:42Speaker 3: now it's like.
- 6:45Speaker 2: What was there, that's the place to be. Yeah.
- 6:48Speaker 6: The worst part of the stand up is touring like
- 6:50Speaker 6: you better come to you, you better? Are you better
- 6:52Speaker 6: than boys? The men because they're there?
- 6:57Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah. I ran in to Sean at the airport
- 7:01Speaker 1: and he was like, I was how do you like
- 7:02Speaker 1: the residence?
- 7:03Speaker 3: He was like, it's the best thing ever. I leave
- 7:04Speaker 3: for work Thursday midday, I come home Monday afternoon. Yeah.
- 7:09Speaker 3: The money is great, it's fantastic.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Little Yeah, stay in a nice room.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Yeah, the room is gonna be fun. And you saving money.
- 7:25Speaker 2: You live in l A.
- 7:25Speaker 3: You go there for the weekend, you're put up.
- 7:27Speaker 4: What do you play in Vegas?
- 7:29Speaker 3: I never got I hate Vegas.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I hate doing all this you.
- 7:43Speaker 7: I hate it that Vegas worse than the past and
- 7:49Speaker 7: I've never give great George Wall.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Vegas has the most terrible that.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I feel like that would be different, But I've had
- 7:56Speaker 1: Vegas to me has a lot of l a energy,
- 7:59Speaker 1: like they literally have seen people with tigers like you, brother.
- 8:04Speaker 4: It's a good show.
- 8:07Speaker 2: The topper Field made us all disappear.
- 8:11Speaker 7: Man is tough make the dating disappeared.
- 8:15Speaker 2: You competing with a man.
- 8:19Speaker 4: That's a good point you got more.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Than just.
- 8:23Speaker 7: Coming out from the back your voiceovers, right, where's the
- 8:25Speaker 7: tiger they bringing?
- 8:26Speaker 2: We in fogus?
- 8:27Speaker 6: Man, I want to see you all tip topper Field
- 8:31Speaker 6: and here here's your space.
- 8:32Speaker 4: Where's your spaceship?
- 8:34Speaker 3: Like that, I can't just go across and have dust
- 8:37Speaker 3: niggas and be like the thing about being white.
- 8:39Speaker 2: And the table.
- 8:41Speaker 4: We don't need the resorts, the stereotyped.
- 8:43Speaker 2: You haven't work at a MC part time.
- 8:46Speaker 7: You have to wear a bow tie, make the bull
- 8:49Speaker 7: tie disappear, and where's the magic at were vegans?
- 8:53Speaker 2: I got a family and man got my grandmother's.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Vegas crowds are back.
- 8:57Speaker 4: But if they're your people, that's what I'm saying. It's
- 8:59Speaker 4: your family.
- 9:00Speaker 1: The residency would be yours fans coming in to see usher.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Yeah that's different than like.
- 9:06Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't think you want the five days a week.
- 9:08Speaker 6: I think you want the one weekend a month type
- 9:12Speaker 6: a type residency.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Oh that's like the that's what Yeah, yeah, Chris Brown,
- 9:19Speaker 1: Chris Brown has one of those grades.
- 9:21Speaker 3: And Adele doesn't even work every weekend. She doesn't.
- 9:23Speaker 5: He'd just be like dancing and doing cocaine. Like he
- 9:25Speaker 5: don't really be like.
- 9:27Speaker 3: That's probably.
- 9:29Speaker 6: Anytime someone's there a lot, like Bruno Mars is there
- 9:32Speaker 6: a lot? And I'm always like, I bet there's some stories,
- 9:36Speaker 6: but I bet.
- 9:37Speaker 4: I mean, if you go to Vegas a lot, I'm like,
- 9:40Speaker 4: how much is a lot? How much are you down?
- 9:44Speaker 2: Do you think Brunos?
- 9:45Speaker 6: Now this is in public information, so when we're off
- 9:49Speaker 6: the record here, Oh, I think.
- 9:50Speaker 3: He just I think Vegas just pays well and something.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Because he's hot.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, he's a great show too.
- 9:58Speaker 4: I'm not saying he's down in his career.

- 10:23Speaker 6: If you don't think that there's still some of that,
- 10:25Speaker 6: well it's still sketchy.
- 10:27Speaker 3: It's definitely still sketchy. There's a whole underground town where
- 10:30Speaker 3: people live underneath the city. I saw there's a whole.
- 10:33Speaker 6: YouTube that's where that's where I get booked living underneath
- 10:37Speaker 6: the city because it's it's hot.
- 10:39Speaker 3: They're homeless and they got like whole towns higher home.
- 10:43Speaker 3: But it's like.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Underneath the tunnels and stuff, because you know, it has
- 10:45Speaker 1: all like a whole underground set up there on YouTube
- 10:48Speaker 1: on YouTube.
- 10:49Speaker 2: I want to go.
- 10:49Speaker 1: I want to go in of course, you man. Me
- 10:52Speaker 1: and Tony was developing the show and I had to
- 10:54Speaker 1: put the breaks on it. We was like, we should go.
- 10:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you why I put the breaks on it.
- 10:58Speaker 1: I was like, we should go like the most expensive
- 11:01Speaker 1: thing in this place and the most like cheap thing.
- 11:03Speaker 1: And was like, yeah, man, we should go to the
- 11:05Speaker 1: hood and every place in the world. I was like,
- 11:09Speaker 1: he's like Brazil. I was like, you know what, city
- 11:13Speaker 1: of God. I'm not going to the hood of no place.
- 11:17Speaker 1: I'll go to the finance of the fine.

- 11:40Speaker 3: two blocks over.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I was like, you know what, Yeah, that food, the
- 11:46Speaker 1: Whole Food Starbucks combination is the beginning of gentrification.
- 11:50Speaker 3: But they hadn't gone this.
- 11:51Speaker 4: Way in there.

- 12:08Speaker 5: Still they're still like crying, like poor Kevin, he'll get
- 12:12Speaker 5: shot at.
- 12:13Speaker 1: People see me and they're like, he's a square. I
- 12:15Speaker 1: don't want to hurt him. He's not in the streets,
